- 1:55Speaker 7: Come come out.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Your bak uh huh.
- 2:02Speaker 8: I sure will him. Good morning everybody. You are listening
- 2:05Speaker 8: to the voice, come on dig me now. One and
- 2:08Speaker 8: only Steve Harvey got a radio show man, Oh man,
- 2:13Speaker 8: oh man? How many times I got to say that
- 2:16Speaker 8: before I get tired of it. I think it's gonna
- 2:20Speaker 8: be a minute, folks. I gotta be real with you,
- 2:23Speaker 8: because boy, that's Steve Harvey, got a radio show man.
- 2:27Speaker 8: Clear indication of how God can do some unexpected, wonderful
- 2:33Speaker 8: things for you, how he leads your life in directions
- 2:37Speaker 8: that you never ever saw coming. You know, I was
- 2:39Speaker 8: talking with somebody the other day and they were talking
- 2:42Speaker 8: about how man, they were young and they were doing things,
- 2:46Speaker 8: and they never knew that the things that they were
- 2:47Speaker 8: doing as a youngster would come and help help form
- 2:53Speaker 8: who they were today as an adult. This guy is
- 2:56Speaker 8: fifty years old, and you know, the same thing for you.
- 3:00Speaker 8: If you look back on your life and all of
- 3:03Speaker 8: the things that you've done, it helped shape you into
- 3:06Speaker 8: who you are now. This is provided now that you
- 3:11Speaker 8: take the positive approach. Now, when I say look back
- 3:14Speaker 8: at your life and see what you've done, that doesn't
- 3:17Speaker 8: mean dwell on the misfortunate moments, because the misfortunate moments
- 3:21Speaker 8: were necessary. I know it's hard to see that when
- 3:24Speaker 8: it's happening to you, but the unfortunate moments are necessary.
- 3:29Speaker 8: You know, what really makes you appreciate summer vacation is
- 3:34Speaker 8: winter work. What really makes you appreciate a walk on
- 3:37Speaker 8: the beach is when it's cold, is raining outside. What
- 3:41Speaker 8: really makes you appreciate when you're up, it's because you've
- 3:46Speaker 8: been down. See if you were up all the time,
- 3:50Speaker 8: just the nature of us as human beings, we would
- 3:53Speaker 8: lose our appreciation for it because it becomes case hurrah,
- 3:57Speaker 8: whatever it is, Well, it is, what it is, is
- 4:00Speaker 8: what what you take it for granted, it becomes expected.
- 4:04Speaker 8: But what happens in life s is it has so
- 4:06Speaker 8: many twisting turns, and then you learn how to deal
- 4:10Speaker 8: with those twisting turns, which makes you now a more
- 4:12Speaker 8: experienced person. And then when the sunny days come, man,
- 4:16Speaker 8: you go, wow, it's really nice outside. You really want
- 4:19Speaker 8: to appreciate how warm weather. Just stay in a bunch
- 4:21Speaker 8: of cold weather all the time.
- 4:24Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 4:24Speaker 8: I'm just this is really simple and now a lot
- 4:27Speaker 8: of analogies, but it helps you along the way. Now
- 4:30Speaker 8: here's what I came to say today to everybody out there.
- 4:34Speaker 8: And this has helped me in my life. I can't
- 4:37Speaker 8: tell you what it's done for me, But a lot
- 4:41Speaker 8: of people are struggling with moving forward with their future,
- 4:46Speaker 8: their future plans, their future goals, their future aspirations, their
- 4:52Speaker 8: future hopes, their future dreams, just simply your future wants.
- 4:58Speaker 8: A lot of people trying to have a a hard
- 5:00Speaker 8: time mapping out their future. Even what I'm gonna do,
- 5:04Speaker 8: what I'm gonna be, what I'm gonna make, how I'm
- 5:07Speaker 8: or go about it?
- 5:09Speaker 2: What do I do next?
- 5:10Speaker 8: I want to share something with you that I had
- 5:12Speaker 8: to come to terms with the quickest way to lose
- 5:16Speaker 8: focus on your future is to keep focusing on your past.
- 5:21Speaker 8: You know, It's like I said at the beginning. You
- 5:23Speaker 8: know when I say it's wonderful to look at your
- 5:26Speaker 8: life and review it because if you look at it,
- 5:29Speaker 8: it'll tell you it really helped shape inform you today
- 5:34Speaker 8: as the person you are now.
- 5:36Speaker 2: If you look at it in a positive sense.
- 5:39Speaker 8: But if you dwell in harp on the negative that's
- 5:41Speaker 8: happened to you, then that keeps you from seeing the
- 5:45Speaker 8: good in the incident, every bad thing that's happened to you,
- 5:49Speaker 8: that was a silver lining behind it. I know people
- 5:52Speaker 8: who were on drugs who finally, man just got sent
- 5:56Speaker 8: to prison for stealing because of their habit. I know
- 5:59Speaker 8: Cat's soul dope. Well, he went to prison. He told
- 6:03Speaker 8: me one time, he says Steve. He said, man, this
- 6:05Speaker 8: is the best thing ever happened to me to save
- 6:07Speaker 8: my life. Now, most people would think, how in the
- 6:10Speaker 8: world is going to prison helpful for you? The brother said,
- 6:15Speaker 8: it saved my life. First of all, it got me clean.
- 6:19Speaker 8: He said, I've been clean for five years from sitting
- 6:22Speaker 8: in here. That's for starters. I'm clean. I ain't stealing
- 6:26Speaker 8: no more. I ain't putting myself in jeopardy, and I
- 6:28Speaker 8: ain't jeopardizing nobody else.
- 6:30Speaker 2: He said.
- 6:30Speaker 8: Now, man, I done went to college. I done got
- 6:33Speaker 8: a college degree while I'm in here. Then he was
- 6:37Speaker 8: released from prison, and the brother's life was completely turned around.
- 6:41Speaker 8: He married, he got a family, he got a great job.
- 6:45Speaker 8: He go to work every day. He's a productive citizen.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I mean.
- 6:49Speaker 8: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:55Speaker 8: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:58Speaker 8: life that he had taken for it and was missing
- 7:01Speaker 8: because he said, man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:03Speaker 8: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:06Speaker 8: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:09Speaker 8: I mean. Even in your missteps in life, there is
- 7:13Speaker 8: a purpose for the missteps. Every time you fail, there
- 7:17Speaker 8: was a reason for the failure. See what I had
- 7:21Speaker 8: to do was I had to learn that all of
- 7:23Speaker 8: my failures taught me how to get back up. So
- 7:27Speaker 8: I became a very strong and tough person in getting
- 7:30Speaker 8: back up. And then I was down and now so
- 7:33Speaker 8: long that it taught me how to really appreciate that up.
- 7:37Speaker 8: And so I've taken all of that and used it
- 7:41Speaker 8: those experiences that happened to me, and I became a
- 7:44Speaker 8: more experienced person. So next time when people talk about
- 7:48Speaker 8: me who don't know me, it don't shake me. Cause
- 7:52Speaker 8: everybody not gonna like you. Man, you might as well
- 7:54Speaker 8: go and get on this train right now. And so
- 7:57Speaker 8: what I'm saying to you out there is the quicker
- 8:00Speaker 8: way to lose focus on your future is to keep
- 8:02Speaker 8: focusing on your past.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Let it go. Yeah yeah, yeah, he left.
- 8:07Speaker 8: Sometimes the breakup is the blessing. I know it's hard
- 8:11Speaker 8: to break up because now you're loaning you by yourself.
- 8:13Speaker 8: But man, but wasn't you in misery when you was
- 8:15Speaker 8: in that? Weren't you in complete misery in that? Now
- 8:21Speaker 8: you kept asking God to fix it. But it takes
- 8:23Speaker 8: two people to fix a relationship. It don't just take one.
- 8:27Speaker 8: It take two to make a thing go right. It
- 8:30Speaker 8: take two to make it out of sight. You really
- 8:33Speaker 8: do have to have two people wanting a relationship to work.
- 8:37Speaker 8: It can't just be one person won a relationship. So
- 8:39Speaker 8: you can pray about the relationship all you want. If
- 8:42Speaker 8: the other person don't want you no more, it ain't
- 8:45Speaker 8: gonna act right. You can't make him do that or
- 8:47Speaker 8: you can't make her do that. But you steady asking
- 8:51Speaker 8: God for a new relationship. But you are yet to
- 8:56Speaker 8: be grateful that you are in a position to have
- 8:59Speaker 8: a relationship. And you keep harping on the past. You
- 9:02Speaker 8: don't think you hear that. I'm just a dude with
- 9:04Speaker 8: a show and I hear it all the time.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Let it go, go forward. It's over. You made it,
- 9:11Speaker 2: He bought you through it, you conquered, you survived it.
- 9:16Speaker 8: Why are you dwelling on it and making it the
- 9:19Speaker 8: cross around your neck when clearly he had removed it
- 9:23Speaker 8: for you.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Now, all you got to do is come on.
- 9:26Speaker 8: So if you sit behind them walls, brothers and sisters,
- 9:29Speaker 8: I'm talking directly to you sometimes.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Man, you just got to get it right. All this
- 9:34Speaker 2: repeat of fender business, that's for? Who is that for?
- 9:38Speaker 8: How ignorant can you be to keep giving your life
- 9:41Speaker 8: back to the penal system? Be free, man, walk the streets,
- 9:45Speaker 8: do the right thing. Ask God to help connect you.
- 9:47Speaker 8: He could do anything. You think he can't give you
- 9:50Speaker 8: a job. Are you serious?
- 9:52Speaker 7: Man?
- 9:52Speaker 2: Put some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all. Let
- 9:54Speaker 2: it go.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Let's move you're listening.
- 9:58Speaker 8: Show, ladies and gentlemen. Let me have your attention. I
- 10:04Speaker 8: don't really need it. I mean you gave it to
- 10:06Speaker 8: me when you joined us. First of all, this morning,
- 10:09Speaker 8: I want to say thanks to all of the loyal
- 10:12Speaker 8: listeners out there that have been with the Steve Harvey
- 10:15Speaker 8: Morning Show for years.

- 10:34Speaker 8: and then some of y'all we just don't want.
- 10:37Speaker 2: To out shit.
- 10:39Speaker 8: You know, if you don't speak well, we just don't
- 10:42Speaker 8: want to put your own because you know, we don't
- 10:44Speaker 8: want to have to explain it. And then you left
- 10:46Speaker 8: your name and we.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Go well, and ain't gonna go good. They probably gonna
- 10:49Speaker 2: get fired, and you know, we have to go through that.

- 30:02Speaker 8: Okay, all right, well let's go give them time to
- 30:06Speaker 8: suddenly and you know he got to get suddenly in
- 30:09Speaker 8: everything voices.
- 30:11Speaker 9: You know, all right, all right, well, yeah, from denial
- 30:19Speaker 9: two admission, Didty is not laying low at all? The
- 30:23Speaker 9: other day, he was seen walking around his Miami neighborhood
- 30:26Speaker 9: smoking a cigar. After he released his apology video to
- 30:30Speaker 9: Cassie Ventura for his assault in violence that was caught
- 30:34Speaker 9: on the hotel video. We all saw that, he said,
- 30:36Speaker 9: in part, my behavior on that video was inexcusable. Did He,
- 30:41Speaker 9: who had previously denied all charges calling his behavior, called
- 30:44Speaker 9: his behavior fed up and said he had sought a.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Therapy following the incident.
- 30:50Speaker 9: Meanwhile, in case you missed it, Cassie's lawyer released a
- 30:53Speaker 9: statement saying Combe's most recent statement is more about himself
- 30:57Speaker 9: than the many people he has hurt. When ass He
- 31:00Speaker 9: and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and
- 31:03Speaker 9: suggested that his victims were looking for a payday. That
- 31:08Speaker 9: he was only compelled to apologize once his repeated denials
- 31:11Speaker 9: were proven false shows his pathetic desperation, and no one
- 31:16Speaker 9: will be swayed by his disingenuine ingenuous words. Disingenuous words.
- 31:22Speaker 2: Wow, you know what, then, I don't know.
- 31:26Speaker 8: Who's advising him, if he is listening to advice, if
- 31:33Speaker 8: anybody's trying to advise him.
- 31:36Speaker 2: But that wasn't a good move.
- 31:37Speaker 1: That was the video apology works. Yes, this was not
- 31:42Speaker 1: a good move.
- 31:44Speaker 8: It just opened up a whole slew of bruh. You
- 31:48Speaker 8: got a long way to come back. You got a
- 31:52Speaker 8: long road, and the only way to do it is
- 31:56Speaker 8: with sincerity. You know, most folks, most famous people can't
- 32:01Speaker 8: go to rehab or check into therapy. And don't nobody
- 32:07Speaker 8: know it, most famous people that aren't afforded that luxury.
- 32:11Speaker 8: Somebody gonna see you in rehab, Somebody gonna see you
- 32:15Speaker 8: at therapy clinic, somebody gonna say it. So I just
- 32:19Speaker 8: think I don't, I don't know, I don't, I don't
- 32:21Speaker 8: know who advising the man, but that that that wasn't
- 32:23Speaker 8: a good play.

- 36:07Speaker 2: All right.
- 36:08Speaker 9: So President Biden delivered the commencement address at Morehouse College
- 36:11Speaker 9: in Atlanta on Sunday. Morehouse valedictorian called for a ceasefire
- 36:15Speaker 9: in Gaza during his commencement speech and received applause from
- 36:19Speaker 9: both the audience and President Biden. The President also used
- 36:22Speaker 9: the opportunity to address black voters in particular, take a listen.
- 36:27Speaker 12: Today in Georgia, they won't allow water to be available
- 36:31Speaker 12: to you while you wait in line to vote an election.
- 36:36Speaker 2: What in the hell is that all about?
- 36:40Speaker 12: Oh, I'm sure think about it. And then the constant
- 36:45Speaker 12: attacks on black election workers to count your vote. Insurrectionists,
- 36:51Speaker 12: the storm of Capitol with Confederate flags are called patriots
- 36:56Speaker 12: by Saul not at my house. Black police officers, black
- 37:04Speaker 12: veterans protecting the Capitol were called another.
- 37:08Speaker 2: Word as you're recalled.
- 37:10Speaker 12: They also say out loud, these other groups, immigrants poison
- 37:16Speaker 12: the blood of our country, like the Grand Wizard and
- 37:19Speaker 12: fascists said in the past. But you know what, I know,
- 37:24Speaker 12: we all bleed the same color in America.
- 37:28Speaker 1: We're all created equally, well said President and powerful.
- 37:35Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I'm with him, man, because the alternative is horrible.
- 37:40Speaker 2: It's just horrible. Listen to me, voters. Look, you can
- 37:44Speaker 2: do what you want to do.
- 37:45Speaker 8: I'm I'm just one person talking, but I just asked
- 37:48Speaker 8: you to just use a bit of common sense here.
- 37:51Speaker 8: You may be tired of both candidates. I've heard all
- 37:54Speaker 8: of this right here, but we're going to end up
- 37:56Speaker 8: with one of them.
- 37:57Speaker 2: You better know that.
- 37:59Speaker 8: Now you can be tied of vote, and you can
- 38:02Speaker 8: talk about I ain't voting for nobody.
- 38:04Speaker 2: Yes you will, Yes you will.
- 38:07Speaker 8: If you voted before and you sit out this election,
- 38:11Speaker 8: whatever you voted for last time, you will be discounted
- 38:15Speaker 8: this time. You have got to use your better judgment.
- 38:20Speaker 2: This is life. This ain't fair. We ain't talking about
- 38:24Speaker 2: what's fair.
- 38:25Speaker 8: Fast where they is where they give out ribbons for
- 38:28Speaker 8: best pie and fattest pig and who got the largest
- 38:31Speaker 8: punkin That ain't what this is. This is life, man.
- 38:34Speaker 8: You have to do a series of things that you
- 38:37Speaker 8: don't want to do in order to get what you
- 38:39Speaker 8: want to have in life. You just got to do
- 38:42Speaker 8: some things that's uncomfortable to do. And voting in this election,
- 38:46Speaker 8: no matter how uncomfortable it is, we have to get
- 38:48Speaker 8: it done because one of these candidates, Trump or Biden,
- 38:53Speaker 8: will be president.
- 38:54Speaker 2: You get to decide now. Damn it.
- 38:57Speaker 8: If you think for one month that Donald Trump is
- 39:02Speaker 8: gonna make your life better, show me one instance where
- 39:06Speaker 8: he did quick talking to me about jobs for blacks
- 39:09Speaker 8: were better. When he was president, he inherited Obama's administration.
- 39:14Speaker 8: He inherited that number, and as he proceeded to be president,
- 39:18Speaker 8: it failed Biden and Harris at least party fact man.
- 39:23Speaker 8: Y'all come on then, let's stop this foolishness.
- 39:26Speaker 9: Coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, We're
- 39:28Speaker 9: gonna check your voicemail Steve at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve.

- 40:11Speaker 2: tell you minute? I don't know you know?
- 40:17Speaker 8: She is done, Cordy Minnie for Cody out of Hunsbill Alabella, No,
- 40:25Speaker 8: she is done. Once a person person is a is
- 40:31Speaker 8: a certain age and they say you're sexy, it don't
- 40:34Speaker 8: even count.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Okay, So what age do they need to be to
- 40:37Speaker 2: say that I'm sexy? And you will at.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Any camera on it?
- 40:43Speaker 2: Can anybody in their thirties calling let me know if
- 40:47Speaker 2: I'm sexy?
- 40:48Speaker 8: Anybody anybody in their thirties got to be dead call in.
- 40:54Speaker 8: Here's a couple of stipulations. If you're in your twenties
- 40:57Speaker 8: and thirties and you think Tommy is sexy, only call
- 41:00Speaker 8: if somebody has told you you were sex.
- 41:05Speaker 2: If you heard them? Got here?
- 41:08Speaker 1: What's the rule here?
- 41:09Speaker 2: What is the thirties? Did they say I'm sexy?
- 41:11Speaker 4: Will you will?
- 41:12Speaker 2: Will you agree that I'm sexy? That's all I'm saying.
- 41:15Speaker 1: If someone told them they're soe told, don't forget that part.
- 41:18Speaker 3: That's that's eight seven nine, Steve, moving up, that's very important,
- 41:28Speaker 3: all right, don't crush him too much, Steve.
- 41:30Speaker 1: You just got here, you know that?
- 41:31Speaker 2: All right?
- 41:32Speaker 9: All right, Steve, here's another call from a lady who
- 41:35Speaker 9: left a message about Trump.
- 41:37Speaker 13: Steve, I just wanted to say kudos for everything that
- 41:40Speaker 13: you say about Donald Trump, the democracy, the brainwashing, how
- 41:46Speaker 13: people are listening to that bull I agree, and it's
- 41:50Speaker 13: very scary.
- 41:51Speaker 1: Don't stop talking.
- 41:53Speaker 13: You made a valid point, and hopefully sooner or later
- 41:56Speaker 13: people will listen before this election comes up. Sank you
- 42:00Speaker 13: very much.
- 42:02Speaker 8: I'm overdone with how we are as a country. I'm
- 42:06Speaker 8: just I'm I'm I'm beyond. It's such a lack of
- 42:10Speaker 8: understanding that I have for this. But it's a clear
- 42:14Speaker 8: understanding too.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:16Speaker 2: I just can't believe that people will allow this.
- 42:22Speaker 8: You cannot be a smart person or a person who
- 42:26Speaker 8: just has any analytical thinking skills and think for one moment.
- 42:32Speaker 2: That this guy is for you.
- 42:35Speaker 8: Y'all listen to what he's saying, and then watch what
- 42:38Speaker 8: he does. I mean, it's you think you're voting for
- 42:43Speaker 8: a narcissist that doesn't. He don't care nothing about that constitution.
- 42:46Speaker 8: Y'all Quit talking to me about that. He don't care
- 42:49Speaker 8: nothing about the Only thing he cares about is what
- 42:52Speaker 8: benefits him. The insurrection he thought would benefit him. The
- 42:58Speaker 8: claiming the election was stolen was to benefit him. The
- 43:02Speaker 8: rerunning for president again is so because he knows that
- 43:07Speaker 8: a sitting president cannot be indicted. He's trying to slow
- 43:10Speaker 8: down some of these charges because they in his draws
- 43:14Speaker 8: with this man, and if he's not president, he gonna
- 43:18Speaker 8: have to answer for this. That's why he wants to
- 43:20Speaker 8: be president again. He didn't even think he was gonna
- 43:23Speaker 8: win the original election. That startled him, and that was
- 43:27Speaker 8: the worst thing y'all could have done for him was
- 43:30Speaker 8: to let him beat Hillary Clifton.
- 43:32Speaker 2: That was the worst thing.
- 43:33Speaker 8: And then after he showed you who he was, you
- 43:36Speaker 8: decided you liked who he was, which is because you're
- 43:40Speaker 8: okay with who he was, because.
- 43:42Speaker 2: That's how you are. Now that's a sad indictment.
- 43:46Speaker 8: But I don't know how you vote for this man
- 43:48Speaker 8: and tell your children and grandchildren this is the type
- 43:51Speaker 8: of man you can aspire to be.
- 43:53Speaker 10: I just, I just, I just.
- 43:54Speaker 2: I just find that so hard to believe. I find
- 43:57Speaker 2: that so hard to believe. Are you that pig headed
- 44:00Speaker 2: to want your party to win that you will do
- 44:03Speaker 2: it at the.
- 44:04Speaker 8: Cost of democracy and the country, and you will lay
- 44:07Speaker 8: aside all your moral values for him?
- 44:11Speaker 9: All right, Well, thanks for no more. He is coming
- 44:14Speaker 9: up next. It is the nephew with today's prank phone call.
- 44:17Speaker 9: Right after this, you're listening.
- 44:21Speaker 1: Morning Show.
- 44:23Speaker 9: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 44:25Speaker 9: four minutes after it is my strawberry letter for today,
- 44:28Speaker 9: and the subject is he's not used to the real thing.
- 44:31Speaker 9: All right, we'll get into that and find out what
- 44:33Speaker 9: that's all about in just a few wait till you
- 44:36Speaker 9: hear this one. But right now he is here, the nephew,

- 47:07Speaker 4: be there tomorrow. I'll be there probably a little bit
- 47:10Speaker 4: before seven am. You know when you guys order uber
- 47:13Speaker 4: way in advance, you know, we try to get there
- 47:15Speaker 4: almost like a car service and make sure we get
- 47:18Speaker 4: you where you got to go. And I know the
- 47:19Speaker 4: traffic is gonna be a little crazy, so you know
- 47:22Speaker 4: I'll be there on time. I'll be downstairs waiting on you.
- 47:24Speaker 11: All right, I'd appreciate it.
- 47:27Speaker 4: Now. Listen, I'm an suv, but it's a kind of

- 47:33Speaker 4: reason for a call. I wanted to kind of give
- 47:34Speaker 4: your heads up that I am an suv. So I
- 47:39Speaker 4: just want you to look for the black Hurst that

- 47:59Speaker 4: what's happening is is is I have another drop off
- 48:02Speaker 4: at the airport as well. You know there's a I mean,
- 48:05Speaker 4: it's it's it won't affect you at all. Well, they'll
- 48:07Speaker 4: they'll be a body in the back, but that has it.
- 48:09Speaker 4: We're trying to get that to the airport too. But
- 48:12Speaker 4: you know, like I said, as a matter of fact.
- 48:14Speaker 11: Body waiting in the hold up.
- 48:16Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you do me.
- 48:17Speaker 11: Man, I ain't riding the body.
- 48:21Speaker 4: Well there's a I mean there'll be a body. But
- 48:23Speaker 4: actually this is costing you less. You know what I'm saying.
- 48:26Speaker 4: So you don't have to man, Well I'm supposed to
- 48:28Speaker 4: lay down.
- 48:29Speaker 11: So what what's you talking about?
- 48:30Speaker 4: Man, dude, it'll I ain't ride they hang on. Man, listen,
- 48:36Speaker 4: you wanted an NUV.
- 48:38Speaker 11: I'm not ride with the body.
- 48:39Speaker 4: Dude.
- 48:40Speaker 11: You tripping cancel this trip. I'll get another over. So
- 48:44Speaker 11: I'm not riding with a body.
- 48:45Speaker 4: Dude. Okay, if you cancel, that's gonna cost you fifty dollars.
- 48:49Speaker 11: Fifty dollars, man, you got like I had just downloaded
- 48:52Speaker 11: the here's the deal.
- 48:54Speaker 4: I know for a fact.
- 48:56Speaker 11: When you cancel over, just fight out. I'm canceling and
- 48:59Speaker 11: that's be fight out. They're gonna be no fifty dollars.
- 49:01Speaker 4: It's gonna be fifty dollars, sir. It's different when you
- 49:05Speaker 4: have Well, my man, you can pay me a thousand dollars.
- 49:07Speaker 11: I'm not riding with the body.
- 49:08Speaker 4: You feel me, No, understand you understand you now, But
- 49:12Speaker 4: do you want to get to the airport or note? Look,
- 49:14Speaker 4: why don't you lay down next to the body and
- 49:16Speaker 4: you drive yourself there and with the body like in
- 49:19Speaker 4: the past of the See, I'm not doing it. Tell
- 49:21Speaker 4: me what the problem is.
- 49:22Speaker 11: I mean, obviously you used to driving around with bodies
- 49:25Speaker 11: and that's not my thing.
- 49:26Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. What's the problem? I mean,
- 49:28Speaker 4: you're gonna be in the front of the hearse. You're
- 49:30Speaker 4: not gonna be in the back. We'll put the bodies
- 49:32Speaker 4: in the back, with your luggage in the back. I mean,
- 49:34Speaker 4: I'll be fine, right, you're my man.
- 49:36Speaker 11: You're tripping, Man, this is crazy. You're calling the wrong
- 49:39Speaker 11: with this crazy book.
- 49:41Speaker 4: Dude. I'm not doing none of that.
- 49:43Speaker 11: What part of that don't you understand?
- 49:45Speaker 4: I'm going to get you there on time, sir, But
- 49:48Speaker 4: it's going to be in a hearse. That's all the
- 49:50Speaker 4: difference is, man.
- 49:51Speaker 11: So you'll be riding fighting in the hurst. Why I'm
- 49:53Speaker 11: supposed to be laid out in You understand right now?
- 49:56Speaker 4: You got me fixed up? What kind of phone call
- 49:59Speaker 4: is this? I mean, what's the problem.
- 50:01Speaker 11: Obviously you're used to rolling with their bodyes thehearses and
- 50:04Speaker 11: all that since winning over start rolling with hearses to
- 50:09Speaker 11: pick up regular lives is to get them from place
- 50:13Speaker 11: to place. This is some crazy I want you to think.
- 50:17Speaker 4: When when did you think that it would just be.
- 50:20Speaker 11: Cool as a regular picking up a body and just
- 50:23Speaker 11: driving around in the street.
- 50:24Speaker 4: I don't know, man, I mean, you know, I got
- 50:26Speaker 4: two jobs, you know what I'm saying. I do uber,
- 50:29Speaker 4: you know, and I also, you know, work for a mortuary.
- 50:32Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying. So you know, but my
- 50:34Speaker 4: vehicle is is certified and approved it so I'm able
- 50:39Speaker 4: to use it as an suv.
- 50:40Speaker 11: So you you call them and you gave it rides
- 50:43Speaker 11: to live and they don't have no reaction, no reaction
- 50:48Speaker 11: to riding around with a body.
- 50:51Speaker 4: In the back. Well you know, uh, sometimes there's a
- 50:54Speaker 4: people acting a little you know, little it's a little
- 50:56Speaker 4: different for them. I get it, you know, But like
- 50:59Speaker 4: I said, the only reason why I'm calling you, you.
- 51:01Speaker 11: Don't get that because you're trying to hit me with
- 51:04Speaker 11: a fifty dollars mon in charge that I'm not I'm
- 51:07Speaker 11: not going for it, and you're trying.
- 51:09Speaker 4: To get me to ride with him that body.
- 51:11Speaker 11: Dude, I'm not doing that.
- 51:12Speaker 4: Sh So, I tell you what, bro, I'm gonna tell
- 51:14Speaker 4: you this right here. I'm gonna get off the phone
- 51:16Speaker 4: tomorrow seven in the morning. Me and Tommy gonna be there,
- 51:19Speaker 4: So be looking forward here.
- 51:21Speaker 11: Who's Timy the body?
- 51:23Speaker 4: No? No, Me and Tommy gonna be there tomorrow morning
- 51:26Speaker 4: at seven am. You know what I'm saying. Just be
- 51:28Speaker 4: ready for that.
- 51:29Speaker 11: Then you're Timy gonna have a problem.
- 51:31Speaker 4: Okay, okay, all right, tell let the Tommy don't cause
- 51:34Speaker 4: see Tommy, don't Tommy don't take this too kindly, so
- 51:36Speaker 4: tell it to him in the morning.
- 51:38Speaker 11: Who's timing.
- 51:40Speaker 15: For now?
- 51:41Speaker 4: Okay, you don't know who Tommy is?
- 51:43Speaker 11: No, I don't what the fuck is Tommy?
- 51:45Speaker 4: Okay? Do you know Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning?
- 51:48Speaker 4: So do you know nephew Tommy?
- 51:51Speaker 5: Oh come on, man, hey, oh man, oh man, that's.
- 52:06Speaker 4: Hey, hey man, come in and the no man, your boy.
- 52:09Speaker 4: You got a boy named Chase that you work with.
- 52:12Speaker 4: Chase gave me your number, told me to get your call.
- 52:14Speaker 4: Oh man, Yo, I'm gonna put that in the hearst. Man,
- 52:26Speaker 4: Hey man, you gotta give me one more thing. Man,
- 52:28Speaker 4: what is the baddest. I'm talking about the baddest radio
- 52:31Speaker 4: show in the land, the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey man,
- 52:35Speaker 4: I pick you up a seping all right?
- 52:37Speaker 5: Be there, all right, and there you have it.
- 52:45Speaker 2: What do you think.
- 52:48Speaker 1: Stupid enough? Come on, let me know they're always stupid enough.
- 52:53Speaker 4: So you.
- 52:56Speaker 2: We just at the airport.
- 53:00Speaker 1: You know it's gonna be stupid.
- 53:02Speaker 2: I'm just okay.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Then look on your face, hoole, it's gonna be stupid.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Time we looked at you and saw it, we know

- 54:07Speaker 14: We got it for you. Here It is Strawberry LETTA.
- 54:11Speaker 9: Thank you nephew. Subject he's not used to the real thing.
- 54:15Speaker 9: Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm a fifty one year old married
- 54:19Speaker 9: woman and my husband is fifty three years old. We
- 54:22Speaker 9: got married in January after dating seven months. He said
- 54:26Speaker 9: he knew I was the one because I'm mature and
- 54:28Speaker 9: I'm financially stable. I knew he was the one because
- 54:32Speaker 9: he seemed to be settled and ready.
- 54:34Speaker 1: For a real woman.
- 54:35Speaker 9: This is the first marriage for both of us, and
- 54:38Speaker 9: he admitted to dating much younger women in the past.
- 54:41Speaker 9: He also admitted to getting a BBL for one of
- 54:44Speaker 9: the girls he dated, and then she left him for
- 54:47Speaker 9: a man her age. He had been hurt a lot
- 54:50Speaker 9: in the past, and so had I. He wanted to
- 54:52Speaker 9: wait until marriage to have sex, but I wanted to
- 54:56Speaker 9: see what I was getting before I married him. I
- 54:59Speaker 9: respected as wishes and we had sex two days after
- 55:02Speaker 9: we got married because.
- 55:03Speaker 1: He got food poisoning the night of our wedding.
- 55:07Speaker 9: When we first had sex, I noticed he put on
- 55:10Speaker 9: a condom, but I didn't say anything. For the second round,
- 55:14Speaker 9: he put on a condom again. He wears one every
- 55:17Speaker 9: single time we are intimate. I asked him why he's
- 55:21Speaker 9: using protection with me, his wife, and he said he
- 55:24Speaker 9: has to use them for staying power. I didn't understand,
- 55:28Speaker 9: so he had to break it down for me. He's
- 55:31Speaker 9: not used to the real thing because he gets too
- 55:34Speaker 9: excited by the real thing. This is a problem for
- 55:37Speaker 9: me because I don't want to go through a process
- 55:40Speaker 9: before we're intimate. I would prefer to be spontaneous and
- 55:43Speaker 9: were we free. He said, I would be disappointed if
- 55:47Speaker 9: he doesn't wear them, but I'm disappointed either way. Is
- 55:50Speaker 9: there some sort of medication that can help him? What
- 55:54Speaker 9: I appear to be nagging him if I keep asking
- 55:56Speaker 9: him to go see a specialist for this, Well, absolutely not.
- 56:00Speaker 9: I mean, you know you're his wife, you want certain things,
- 56:03Speaker 9: and that's not nagging. You need to ask him to
- 56:07Speaker 9: find out what's going on. And he is your husband,
- 56:09Speaker 9: and you do want to help him, right, So suggesting
- 56:11Speaker 9: that he go to a doctor or a specialist to
- 56:13Speaker 9: get some pills or whatever to help him, there's definitely
- 56:17Speaker 9: nothing wrong with that.
- 56:19Speaker 1: It shows you really care.
- 56:20Speaker 9: I mean, you should be glad that this man was
- 56:22Speaker 9: honest with you and told you what was really going
- 56:25Speaker 9: on with him.
- 56:29Speaker 4: That is rare.
- 56:30Speaker 1: That is rare to hear the actual truth.
- 56:32Speaker 2: And at least with the.
- 56:33Speaker 9: Truth, you have a starting point. Maybe his problem can
- 56:37Speaker 9: be fixed. At fifty three, maybe it can be fixed.
- 56:40Speaker 9: If you're planning on staying married. You guys have got
- 56:42Speaker 9: to find a way to take care of this situation
- 56:44Speaker 9: because you said you do not like condoms. You want
- 56:47Speaker 9: spontaneous sex. You want that, and he already told you
- 56:51Speaker 9: that without him, he's no good because he gets too
- 56:54Speaker 9: excited by the real thing. I say, make a doctor's
- 56:57Speaker 9: appointment immediately and go with him and find out what's
- 57:01Speaker 9: going on.
- 57:02Speaker 1: What's really going on, Steve, Well.
- 57:05Speaker 2: Shirley, I'll give you credit on this right here.
- 57:07Speaker 8: You stayed away from it because obviously you know the
- 57:10Speaker 8: first of all, let me say this to everybody listening
- 57:13Speaker 8: to the standard, this is not a rare thing.
- 57:16Speaker 2: This is so not rare.
- 57:19Speaker 8: It has happened to every single living human being of
- 57:26Speaker 8: the male species. He is telling you the truth. Now,
- 57:30Speaker 8: you all didn't get half sex. You wanted to wait
- 57:33Speaker 8: until after you were married. You had sex two days
- 57:37Speaker 8: after you got married. Because he got food poisoning on
- 57:40Speaker 8: the wed night. He wanted to wait. He bought a
- 57:45Speaker 8: girl of BBL. I don't know what that had to
- 57:47Speaker 8: do with it. He's dated younger girls. After she got
- 57:50Speaker 8: to BBL, she went on and got a man at
- 57:53Speaker 8: her age and that hurt him. And you know, because
- 57:57Speaker 8: I ain't no telling her how much he spent for
- 57:58Speaker 8: the BBL got it just like he liked it, and
- 58:01Speaker 8: then found out everybody else liked it too. Uh, so
- 58:06Speaker 8: Otis went on and been out on the limb and
- 58:09Speaker 8: spent that money on Keisha. Now, Odetta, let me talk
- 58:15Speaker 8: to you after y'all got married. Here's what the problem is.
- 58:27Speaker 8: I noticed he put on a condom, but I ain't
- 58:30Speaker 8: say anything. For the second round. He put on a
- 58:36Speaker 8: condom again. He wears one every single time we are intimate.
- 58:44Speaker 8: I asked him why he's using protection me his wife,
- 58:47Speaker 8: and he said he has to use them. For staying power.
- 58:51Speaker 8: Come on, dog, come on, Shirley says, this is rare.
- 58:58Speaker 2: No it's not. Shirley said, you need to go to
- 59:01Speaker 2: a doctor. No you don't.
- 59:03Speaker 1: I said, it's rare that he told her the truth.
- 59:05Speaker 1: That's what I heard what you said. Yeah, it was
- 59:09Speaker 1: rare that he told her.
- 59:10Speaker 8: You interrupted my answer, But you mentioned my name in
- 59:14Speaker 8: your caller?
- 59:15Speaker 2: Did I say anything when Shirley was talking.
- 59:19Speaker 1: I don't know why.
- 59:25Speaker 8: Okay, but I don't know why when I get to
- 59:27Speaker 8: have my anser, all of a sudden you got information.
- 59:29Speaker 2: Now you into it, and because what you said, you said, Rath,
- 59:38Speaker 2: you said, he told the truth. Listen to me. You said,
- 59:42Speaker 2: this is rapt this and Odetta, it happens all the time.
- 59:51Speaker 8: That's when we come back. I'm gonna tell you what
- 59:53Speaker 8: you can do about this problem you had. Please, I'm
- 59:56Speaker 8: gonna tell her what she can do about this problem
- 59:59Speaker 8: he had, and then we can get this day and
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: work though.
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: But I'm telling you right now what I have the solution, All.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: Right, doctor Harvey.
- 1:00:12Speaker 9: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:00:14Speaker 9: twenty three minutes.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: For another show. You know I had just now, Doctor Harry,
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: I think, damn it, doctor Harvey, is about time. I
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: think I got a.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: Nice ring to it.
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: It makes sense to me.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: The subject is.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: Medical advice for those people that don't have money.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: We'll get back to you. We'll get back to the
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: letter right after this. You're listening.
- 1:00:40Speaker 9: Morning show, All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's
- 1:00:43Speaker 9: strawberry letter. The subject is he's not used to the
- 1:00:45Speaker 9: real thing.
- 1:00:47Speaker 8: Moreman's fifty one years old married to a man fifty
- 1:00:49Speaker 8: three years old. They got married after dating seven months.
- 1:00:53Speaker 8: He said she knew he was the one. She said,
- 1:00:56Speaker 8: She said she knew he was the one. He said
- 1:00:58Speaker 8: she knew she was the one. He was usually dating
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: younger women before bought a girl to BBL. She ended
- 1:01:06Speaker 8: up leaving him for a man her age because after
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: he got what he wanted to, found out everybody else
- 1:01:11Speaker 8: wanted it too, so he wanted to wait until he
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: had till he got married to have sex. But a
- 1:01:18Speaker 8: little fast thing. Miss Frisky wanted to see what it
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: was about, so she knew what she was getting into
- 1:01:24Speaker 8: before she got married, but she waited. They didn't have
- 1:01:28Speaker 8: sex right away because he got food poisoning on his
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: wed at night so they had sex. Two days later,
- 1:01:34Speaker 8: they were sitting to have sex, he put on the condom.
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: Then in round two he put on the condom again.
- 1:01:41Speaker 8: She says he uses protection every single time they have sex.
- 1:01:47Speaker 8: She asked him why he was using protection with me,
- 1:01:50Speaker 8: his wife, and he said he was using it for
- 1:01:52Speaker 8: stay in power. Now we better accept that because with
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: all of his previous life and him you protection, it
- 1:02:01Speaker 8: could be protecting you. Now the reason I think you
- 1:02:04Speaker 8: need to go to the doctor. So y'all both can.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Get tested tested for any STDs.
- 1:02:12Speaker 8: That's what you need to get tested for before you
- 1:02:15Speaker 8: go out here with this unprotected sex. Because the first
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: two times you have sex with a person, now, the
- 1:02:21Speaker 8: fact that you his wife, don't stop, no information that
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: he might have and only knowing a man seven months,
- 1:02:28Speaker 8: you need to find out why he's really using protection.
- 1:02:31Speaker 8: It might be to save your life. It could be,
- 1:02:36Speaker 8: but he says it is for staying power. This is
- 1:02:41Speaker 8: a very very real thing, stay in power. See the
- 1:02:45Speaker 8: problem is you think he can't handle the real thing.
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: There's a sensitivity with the real thing. Lord, have mercy
- 1:02:56Speaker 8: go with me, protect me as I go down in
- 1:02:58Speaker 8: this area that I've never gone down before in the radio.
- 1:03:02Speaker 8: The real thing is real. The real thing is real thing.
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: Got it has all it has something on it.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: I don't know what it is.
- 1:03:16Speaker 8: You're there, but we'll just call it the real thing.
- 1:03:19Speaker 8: We're gonna just keep it. We gonna keep calling it
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: the real thing. The real thing is too real for most.
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: And the key word in the real is thing.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Ask what it is? Something about that thing? Whoa something
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: about that thing? I want that thing or that thing
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: or that thing.
- 1:03:51Speaker 8: I'm not gonna use no words that ain't in the
- 1:03:53Speaker 8: title the title of his letters.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: He's not used to the real thing. Well, what is
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: it about the thing?
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: Well?
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: Join it with me, deacon, as we preach this old
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: all right here here today. Yeah, I need some church music,
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: brother day. Yeah, if you would uh come today to
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: talk about a subject you with me, deacon? I went
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: your past. Uh the subject today is is he not
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: used to the real thing? He not used to the
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: real thing? Key word thing? Thank, thang t A A
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: N G. Yes, Why is he not used to the
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: real thing? Our writer says he must use a condom
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: every time we have sick. I asked him why.
- 1:04:49Speaker 6: He said.
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: It is for staying power. He ain't that the truth.
- 1:04:57Speaker 8: How many times if you talk so much smack ragged
- 1:05:03Speaker 8: about this and that, what you was gonna do with it? Yeah,
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: long you could stay with it, say how you was
- 1:05:14Speaker 8: gonna sprink it? Really flipping all of that, and then
- 1:05:20Speaker 8: the moment of truth came. If you didn't know that
- 1:05:24Speaker 8: that real thing and that thing on it, okay, you
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: got a hold of that real thing, and what you
- 1:05:34Speaker 8: didn't know about that real thing was that real thing.
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: He had a whole lot of real on it. You're real.
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: Everywhere it is is real. It's it's it's just real.
- 1:05:48Speaker 8: I can't add no adjectives. I want to say something
- 1:05:52Speaker 8: about the texture. I want to say something about them,
- 1:05:57Speaker 8: but I'm not a tout. All I'm gonna do is
- 1:06:01Speaker 8: just call it that real thing, man, get it. In
- 1:06:04Speaker 8: all of a sudden, you ain't what you said. You
- 1:06:07Speaker 8: was that real thing and got a hold of you.
- 1:06:10Speaker 8: You ain't got hold of the real thing. The real
- 1:06:13Speaker 8: thing then got hold of you. Next thing, you know,
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: it's over.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: You didn't you didn't, you don't. Just oh lord, it
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: ain't asking no time.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: Now.
- 1:06:26Speaker 8: You over there laying on your back, looking at the
- 1:06:29Speaker 8: ceiling and wondering what the hell happened to you. You
- 1:06:32Speaker 8: should have added on a condom.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: So you could have answer power today.
- 1:06:38Speaker 9: Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey got that and Facebook and
- 1:06:43Speaker 9: check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on the three iHeartRadio app.
- 1:06:50Speaker 11: You need to know.
- 1:06:52Speaker 9: It ain't get something coming up with forty six minutes
- 1:06:55Speaker 9: after be we got you here in Sports Talk right
- 1:06:58Speaker 9: after this.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: You're listening morning show. It is time now for junior
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: and sports Talk. Junior take it away.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: We ain't got to do sports if you don't want to.
- 1:07:12Speaker 8: Play back to sermon from the straw that because I
- 1:07:15Speaker 8: wasn't through and sports is old.
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: But we know who won Game seven with no city
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: that we live in. It ain't no city.
- 1:07:25Speaker 8: We ain't em on the radio in Indianapolis. We ain't
- 1:07:28Speaker 8: even on the radio in Boston. We show ain't on
- 1:07:31Speaker 8: the radio where the Timberwood. Please we on the radio
- 1:07:38Speaker 8: in Dallas. That's why I say, come on, Mavericks. But oh,
- 1:07:42Speaker 8: let's get back to the sermon. He not used to
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: the real thing way.
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: You at deacon where deacon yeah right, pay attention.
- 1:07:55Speaker 8: Yeah, ah is man when he finally gets up to
- 1:08:00Speaker 8: the plate and the bases is loaded and he'll come
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: to pitch.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: Yeah, he swing and he hit it. He ain't gonna
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: go far.
- 1:08:12Speaker 8: He might have wear up, burnt the ball because he
- 1:08:14Speaker 8: ain't gonna make it the first base. Because he ain't
- 1:08:17Speaker 8: got no stamina. He ain't got no stay in power.
- 1:08:20Speaker 8: You ain't finishing no old run.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: Because that real thing, what is it? Digging stamming that
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: real thing? You got the hair stamina. You can't just
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: run up in here like you want to.
- 1:08:38Speaker 8: You can't just do like you want to, because that
- 1:08:41Speaker 8: real thing got something that comes with it, exactly what
- 1:08:48Speaker 8: it is. But it's something about that real thing that
- 1:08:51Speaker 8: makes you blood on top of your head off. You
- 1:08:55Speaker 8: can't see good. I roll in the back of your head,
- 1:09:00Speaker 8: half raised up on the back of your neck. Both
- 1:09:03Speaker 8: your legs cramp. You're pulling armstrings and quad and muscles
- 1:09:08Speaker 8: pull spread out.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: His starting to spasm. You don't know what's going on
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: because you don't messed up and got a hold to
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: the real thing. And now you ain't got no He
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: ain't got no what Deacon, You got to ask stamina
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: stay in power as the most powerful.
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: Thing ever invented, knowing the mankind is that real thing?
- 1:09:33Speaker 8: And you got to get yourself some help, because this
- 1:09:36Speaker 8: woman don't want that condle. You got to buy something,
- 1:09:42Speaker 8: shut all the feeling down. You need some pine sal
- 1:09:46Speaker 8: or something like that.
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: You need some.

- 1:11:19Speaker 9: And he thinks I should cover more of the expenses,
- 1:11:22Speaker 9: but I believe it should be more equal to avoid resentment.

- 1:11:35Speaker 2: The only way that I can tell you how to
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: do this is the way I was taught to do it,
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: and it has helped me. Missy.
- 1:11:41Speaker 8: I've said it on the show one hundred times. Here
- 1:11:43Speaker 8: goals one hundred and one all couples should have for
- 1:11:46Speaker 8: a bank accounts. The way you avoid the significant other
- 1:11:50Speaker 8: party making more money than you and feeling like you
- 1:11:53Speaker 8: should pay more is you take whatever money he makes
- 1:11:57Speaker 8: and whatever money you make, and you all put it
- 1:11:59Speaker 8: in the joint count. Out of that joint account, you
- 1:12:03Speaker 8: all pay your necessities heating, air, car notes, house note, rent, groceries, utilities,
- 1:12:13Speaker 8: all of the stuff that you have to do to survive.
- 1:12:16Speaker 8: All bills go in that credit cards, everything, and you
- 1:12:20Speaker 8: pay from that joint account. Now, then you have an
- 1:12:24Speaker 8: account where you all agree to set aside a certain
- 1:12:27Speaker 8: percentage of that money every payday, whatever percentage you decide,
- 1:12:31Speaker 8: three percent, five percent, ten percent.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: But everybody should try to save something. You put that
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: money aside.
- 1:12:37Speaker 8: In order to move that money, it takes two signatures,
- 1:12:41Speaker 8: and then you have each one of you should have
- 1:12:44Speaker 8: a personal account. You young ladies should have an account
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: where you can get what you want, and he can
- 1:12:50Speaker 8: have an account, and you all determine what the allowance
- 1:12:53Speaker 8: amount is. I'm telling you right now, fellas, that allowance
- 1:12:57Speaker 8: amount is never equal, and I.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: Will tell you why.
- 1:13:00Speaker 8: Because it takes more money for women to maintain hair, nails, shopping,
- 1:13:07Speaker 8: cost of clothes, all that stuff right there. Their maintenance
- 1:13:12Speaker 8: program is far more expensive than you you pay for
- 1:13:15Speaker 8: a haircut.
- 1:13:16Speaker 2: That's it. They got to get nail service, hair makeup,
- 1:13:20Speaker 2: all this here.
- 1:13:21Speaker 8: But to predetermine that the woman's allowance is this, and
- 1:13:26Speaker 8: the male's allowance is that she is not allowed to
- 1:13:30Speaker 8: tell you what you do with your money, and you
- 1:13:32Speaker 8: are not allowed to tell her what to do with
- 1:13:33Speaker 8: her money. But by you all combining the incomes, which
- 1:13:37Speaker 8: is what living together should be about, not to join forces,
- 1:13:41Speaker 8: to remain as individuals, because what's the use of joining
- 1:13:44Speaker 8: forces for? So now y'all just sitting it, be in
- 1:13:46Speaker 8: there arguing because he thinks you ought to pay more
- 1:13:48Speaker 8: because you make mode, Well, that's stupid. You all should
- 1:13:52Speaker 8: play proportionately equal from what you make. You go all
- 1:13:56Speaker 8: put the money together, and you split the bills evenly.
- 1:14:00Speaker 8: Then proportionately it will be like twenty percent of your
- 1:14:03Speaker 8: money will go towards bills and twenty percent.
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: Of his money will go towards bills.
- 1:14:08Speaker 8: Now, your twenty percent will be higher, of course because
- 1:14:10Speaker 8: you make more, but it'll still be affect him the
- 1:14:14Speaker 8: same way because it's twenty percent.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Of his money going towards bills.
- 1:14:17Speaker 8: Then the savings account is y'alls together, and then you
- 1:14:20Speaker 8: have your individual money. That's a financial planner told me that,
- 1:14:23Speaker 8: and it's been most helpful. If you don't do that,
- 1:14:26Speaker 8: you will forever be arguing about money as a couple.
- 1:14:29Speaker 9: Question, do you think they're gonna make it? Because they
- 1:14:31Speaker 9: didn't talk about this before they moved in.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Now it's an issue.
- 1:14:34Speaker 8: But see, that's the problem with people. Y'all be rushing.
- 1:14:37Speaker 8: Y'all move in for sex. Y'all move in because you
- 1:14:41Speaker 8: ain't got to drive over here. They have sex and
- 1:14:43Speaker 8: sex right there. But when you get through having sex,
- 1:14:45Speaker 8: you got to live. You don't have that much sex now.
- 1:14:48Speaker 8: The rest of it is called life congratulation lesson. Yeah,
- 1:14:54Speaker 8: that's why y'all be moving. Y'all move in for sex.
- 1:14:56Speaker 8: Let's stop playing this rabbit game.
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: All right, thank you.

- 1:18:57Speaker 1: Have you ever had grilled corn on the cobbe? It's
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: so good?
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:19:02Speaker 8: But I put that over there on the electric grill. Yeah,
- 1:19:07Speaker 8: all that go on the electric grill. That ain't finnah,
- 1:19:09Speaker 8: You ain't f put no flavor in that. Put that
- 1:19:12Speaker 8: mess over there.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: All right, We're moving on.
- 1:19:14Speaker 9: Would you rather have a job as a summer lifeguard
- 1:19:17Speaker 9: or teach forty first graders vacation Bible School at vacation

- 1:19:25Speaker 8: because I'm gona tell you right now, if you're out

- 1:19:28Speaker 2: Dam Now, we ain't gonna learn.
- 1:19:32Speaker 8: A whole lot about the Lord either, But at least

- 1:19:53Speaker 1: But you're gonna teach the babies about the Lord. Listen
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: to me right coming up and thank you guys, coming
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: up a shout on the last break of the day.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: We'll close up the show with the one only Harvey right.
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: After Jesus ain't got no z in it. Know what's
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: talking about?
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show?
- 1:20:20Speaker 9: All right here we are, guys, last break of the
- 1:20:22Speaker 9: day on this Tuesday. See, before we get out of here,
- 1:20:26Speaker 9: there was a caller who had a relationship question for you,
- 1:20:29Speaker 9: and he wanted to be a father.
- 1:20:31Speaker 16: Take a listen, Hello, good morning. You know I like
- 1:20:34Speaker 16: to say hello to the entire Steve Harvey Morning Show crew.
- 1:20:39Speaker 15: My question is to Steve Harvey, how does a man
- 1:20:44Speaker 15: that has no children deal with the fact that, you know,
- 1:20:49Speaker 15: he may never have children based off of the type
- 1:20:53Speaker 15: of woman that he deals with, because they may already
- 1:20:56Speaker 15: have children, or they're going through things with their body
- 1:21:00Speaker 15: because they don't want to have children anymore. Because you're
- 1:21:04Speaker 15: certain age deal with the fact that you know there
- 1:21:08Speaker 15: are so many deadby dads out there that have constant
- 1:21:11Speaker 15: children all the time, because I deal with that. How
- 1:21:15Speaker 15: is it the fact that you know, these men are
- 1:21:18Speaker 15: that are dead be dads are constantly able to have
- 1:21:22Speaker 15: constant children, when dudes that are really and truly want
- 1:21:26Speaker 15: to be actual fathers are not able to have children
- 1:21:31Speaker 15: because of the women they meet or because of their bodies,
- 1:21:34Speaker 15: no matter what the circumstances are. But in my particular situation.
- 1:21:40Speaker 16: It's based off of the women that I meet. Like
- 1:21:43Speaker 16: most of the women that I meet.
- 1:21:44Speaker 15: They have their kids and they don't want anymore, or
- 1:21:48Speaker 15: something gets up with their body to where they can't
- 1:21:51Speaker 15: have children.
- 1:21:53Speaker 16: So I'm just trying to understand how do I keep
- 1:21:56Speaker 16: falling into a situation with the female that either can have.
- 1:22:00Speaker 15: Children or doesn't want any children when there's dead be
- 1:22:05Speaker 15: dads out here that are able to keep constantly having
- 1:22:09Speaker 15: child And it's just like it's getting into a situation
- 1:22:13Speaker 15: or getting to a point to where I feel like
- 1:22:15Speaker 15: I have to I'm going to have to adopt, and
- 1:22:18Speaker 15: I feel like that's not fair. I just would really
- 1:22:21Speaker 15: like your advice on that, and I appreciate everything they
- 1:22:24Speaker 15: y'all do, because y'all really just don't understand how much
- 1:22:28Speaker 15: y'all do for the community. And maybe y'all do, but
- 1:22:31Speaker 15: y'all do a lot for the community. And I just
- 1:22:34Speaker 15: hope that y'all can continue this for at.
- 1:22:36Speaker 16: Least another ten to fifteen years. I appreciate y'all.
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: I love y'all.
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: Thank you me too.
- 1:22:42Speaker 14: I'm gonna just tell you that right now, you can
- 1:22:50Speaker 14: get that off your wish lists, get on back to
- 1:22:52Speaker 14: these damn keys you want.
- 1:22:54Speaker 8: But we're not gonna be here for fifteen years. I
- 1:22:57Speaker 8: can promise you that. You think I'm going to be
- 1:22:59Speaker 8: you've been here? Nah, hell no, you said I'm finna
- 1:23:04Speaker 8: you think hell I'm finna be.
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: A widows at night? How old.
- 1:23:09Speaker 8: You think I'm gonna be? Eighty two years old? Cita balls,
- 1:23:12Speaker 8: damn radio, this man, Well, let me go on and
- 1:23:16Speaker 8: try to help you. First of all, so your folks,
- 1:23:21Speaker 8: you gotta get your focus in order. Brother, How does
- 1:23:24Speaker 8: a man who has no children face the fact that
- 1:23:28Speaker 8: he may never have kids because of the women he's
- 1:23:31Speaker 8: dating they don't want kids or their bodies ain't able
- 1:23:35Speaker 8: to have kids. Wait a minute, and then all these
- 1:23:38Speaker 8: dead beat dads who had these kids and and they
- 1:23:42Speaker 8: not even taking care of them. Wait a minute, holder, man,
- 1:23:45Speaker 8: why did you even keep bringing up the dead beat dads?
- 1:23:49Speaker 8: That is not your issue. See listen, man, you can't
- 1:23:53Speaker 8: get to a positive with a negative. You're focusing on
- 1:23:56Speaker 8: the negative too hard. You're talking about who got kids
- 1:24:00Speaker 8: dead beat dads? Listen to me, brother, dead be dads
- 1:24:03Speaker 8: ain't real.
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: Dad's no way.
- 1:24:05Speaker 8: They're dead beats. So what is your focus with that?
- 1:24:09Speaker 8: The second dead thing is, man, we're dealing with some age.
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:24:12Speaker 8: We're talking about age because all the women you've dated,
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: you've obviously waited to have a family, because you sound
- 1:24:20Speaker 8: like a mature type. Man.
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: Your voice, well, let me just tell your voice sound old.
- 1:24:24Speaker 8: You're dating all these women who've already have children, and
- 1:24:29Speaker 8: now you're running the women whose bodies won't allow them
- 1:24:31Speaker 8: to have anymore kids.
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: Brud, you got to broaden your dating pool now.
- 1:24:38Speaker 8: But once you've made the decision to wait as long
- 1:24:41Speaker 8: as you have to start a family, you're running into
- 1:24:45Speaker 8: this situation. It's nothing wrong with the women, the women
- 1:24:48Speaker 8: who have children, the women who are unable to have children,
- 1:24:51Speaker 8: it's nothing wrong with them.
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: You've waited to this point in your life to want
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: to have a family.
- 1:24:57Speaker 8: But brother, the dead beat dads is not your problem.
- 1:25:02Speaker 8: Your problem is who you're choosing to date and spend
- 1:25:06Speaker 8: your time with. Without getting clarity from these women in
- 1:25:10Speaker 8: the early part of the relationship. Most women will tell
- 1:25:15Speaker 8: you in a heartbeat if they're not interested in having
- 1:25:17Speaker 8: no more kids, well you can skip to the lou
- 1:25:20Speaker 8: my dollar, because if that's what you want. But then, brother,
- 1:25:23Speaker 8: you can't. You can't always get what you want. See
- 1:25:26Speaker 8: you've waited long in life now. Sometimes stepping in and
- 1:25:31Speaker 8: being a father to the fatherless is an admirable profession.
- 1:25:36Speaker 8: I cannot tell you how many men have done that
- 1:25:40Speaker 8: most adequately it. Matter of fact, I know a whole
- 1:25:44Speaker 8: lot of men who have stepped in and became fathers
- 1:25:47Speaker 8: to dead be dad kids because they done walked off
- 1:25:49Speaker 8: from their responsibility.
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: There's honor in that.
- 1:25:52Speaker 8: And then you said, I may have to adopt, and
- 1:25:55Speaker 8: that ain't fair, man, Holder Man, what is you talking about?
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: Fair? Where that comes from? Fair?
- 1:26:00Speaker 8: It's where they give pigs blue ribbons and you can
- 1:26:02Speaker 8: get best pie. That's where the fat at. This is life, brouh.
- 1:26:06Speaker 8: You can't always get what you want. What's you're talking about?
- 1:26:09Speaker 8: If I have to adopt and that ain't fair. Wait
- 1:26:11Speaker 8: a minute, hold up, bro, your dad be dads and
- 1:26:15Speaker 8: you adopt it. You ain't gotta be another one, neither
- 1:26:17Speaker 8: one of them. Now, listen to me, sir. If you
- 1:26:21Speaker 8: want a family, that's still doable, but you're gonna have
- 1:26:24Speaker 8: to meet a person that wants to have a family
- 1:26:26Speaker 8: with you.
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:26:27Speaker 8: Part of this problem is could be this attitude that
- 1:26:29Speaker 8: you bring to these relationships because I don't really know
- 1:26:33Speaker 8: based on this phone call, if you're the person that
- 1:26:36Speaker 8: a woman wants to have a child with. Anyway, you
- 1:26:38Speaker 8: gotta brighten your perspective. Man, you sound a little bit
- 1:26:41Speaker 8: too negative to me. Man, work on yourself. Get your
- 1:26:44Speaker 8: attitude together. Quit blaming dead be dads and women who
- 1:26:47Speaker 8: got kids already in k kids because the ain't nothing
- 1:26:50Speaker 8: wrong with them. This is your partner, This is you.
- 1:26:53Speaker 8: Those are my clothes remarks. I hope that helps you today,
- 1:26:56Speaker 8: But you gotta get yourself together. I have a great
- 1:27:00Speaker 8: day to day, y'all talk to guy. He'd love me here, Friends,
- 1:27:03Speaker 8: call me no more this here.
- 1:27:16Speaker 2: For all.
