- 0:24Speaker 1: to the movie Together for I don't join join me.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta U turn m you gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn You haven't got to turn them out
- 1:45Speaker 1: to turn the water the water go. Come come on
- 1:58Speaker 1: your tha, I shall will. Oh, good morning everybody. You
- 2:04Speaker 1: are listening to the voice, Come on now dig me
- 2:09Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: What God doing, y'all? Huh? What are he doing? What
- 2:16Speaker 1: are doing in your life? Here doing something? He moving?
- 2:19Speaker 1: He working. Don't lose your patience though, so I did
- 2:23Speaker 1: that before. Don't lose your patience. Don't don't. Don't get
- 2:27Speaker 1: so sick of waiting that you take matters into your
- 2:30Speaker 1: own hands. Don't do that. Boy, you're blowing it. Listen
- 2:35Speaker 1: to me. You're listening to somebody who's done it that way.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I had a dream. I had a vision. I had
- 2:42Speaker 1: some hope, I had some faith, I had some aspirations.
- 2:46Speaker 1: But I got a little impatient waiting on it. So
- 2:49Speaker 1: I tried a couple other things move it along. But
- 2:52Speaker 1: I can't tell you how I messed it up. Then
- 2:54Speaker 1: I messed it up then, because God gave me the
- 2:56Speaker 1: power of decision. What I had to do was then
- 2:59Speaker 1: after I took matters into my own hand, messed it up. Now,
- 3:03Speaker 1: guess what, He still got something from me. But now
- 3:06Speaker 1: I gotta fix all the mistakes. Now I gotta straighten
- 3:09Speaker 1: them out. I gotta I gotta suffer some consequences. I
- 3:12Speaker 1: gotta pay for my transgressions. All of that, all of that,
- 3:16Speaker 1: it's gotta go down. You can't do something wrong and
- 3:20Speaker 1: not pay for it. It's you call it, calma, call
- 3:23Speaker 1: it whatever you wanna call it. Every action has an
- 3:27Speaker 1: equal and opposite reaction every action. If it just stays
- 3:33Speaker 1: sunny all the time, you might think it's cool, but
- 3:35Speaker 1: there's gonna be a reaction to it. Ain't no dark,
- 3:38Speaker 1: ain't no shade, ain't no break, ain't no rain. Gonna
- 3:41Speaker 1: be hard if it's just sunny all the time, vice versa.
- 3:45Speaker 1: So you need you need the opposite. You need the
- 3:49Speaker 1: darkness so you can get your break from that sun.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You need the rain so you can nourish the roots
- 3:54Speaker 1: so that sun it can soak up the sun and
- 3:58Speaker 1: get the benefit of the sun. If you don't get
- 4:00Speaker 1: the opposite, you got a problem, man. And it happens
- 4:03Speaker 1: throughout nature, it happens throughout your life. Don't think that
- 4:07Speaker 1: you can do wrong and not have to pay for that.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Do you think this is man? We we think man,
- 4:15Speaker 1: because we'd have made a decision that we think is
- 4:17Speaker 1: best for us, and no matter how it affect nobody else,
- 4:20Speaker 1: we got the right to make that call. No, you don't.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Whoever is telling you that, whoever's misguiding you into the
- 4:26Speaker 1: gang life, telling you, yeah, man, you need to be
- 4:28Speaker 1: this way to be down with us. I tell you what.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Get yourself stuck on chuck with that gang. See how
- 4:33Speaker 1: many of them be there for you. Oh, they'll go
- 4:35Speaker 1: around the corner with you and starts shooting. But okay,
- 4:39Speaker 1: when it's time to do some time and they can
- 4:41Speaker 1: lessen their centers, you're gonna get that time. They're gonna
- 4:44Speaker 1: point their finger dead at you. I watched for the
- 4:46Speaker 1: eight hours all the time, man, I watched lock Up
- 4:48Speaker 1: Raw all the time, all the time, man, all the time.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Ain't no real cold dudes out there, just holding to
- 4:55Speaker 1: the mantra and sticking to it. Even the mob turns stateside,
- 5:00Speaker 1: adence go fed all that. Now we are in the
- 5:03Speaker 1: hound the hood. We didn't created this ignorant mess called
- 5:05Speaker 1: no snitching. With that hignorant mess, you don't even understand.
- 5:08Speaker 1: No snitching was created by criminals as a code of honor.
- 5:12Speaker 1: If you do dirt and you get busted doing the dirt,
- 5:14Speaker 1: don't bring my name up if I was with you.
- 5:17Speaker 1: That's a code of honor amongst the thieves. Now, so
- 5:19Speaker 1: many code of honor thieves that then came out of prison.
- 5:22Speaker 1: They ain't got no honor. They haven't bought that stuff
- 5:24Speaker 1: back to the street. Now, that's all in the neighborhood.
- 5:26Speaker 1: No snitching, No snitching, You gotta be crazy. That's for
- 5:30Speaker 1: people who disobey the law. That's who people have made
- 5:34Speaker 1: a code of honor amongst themselves as thieves. Hey, man,
- 5:36Speaker 1: if you get busted, don't drag me down. What you
- 5:38Speaker 1: just do your time. Oh man, you can't bring that
- 5:41Speaker 1: stuff out here to me. I'm a law biden citizen dog.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I'm trying to live right over here. Man. I don't
- 5:47Speaker 1: want to crack house up street from my mama's house.
- 5:50Speaker 1: I'm trying to do right out here. Man. You can't
- 5:52Speaker 1: do wrong and expect wrong not to come to you.
- 5:55Speaker 1: You got to make a decision every day to do right.
- 5:58Speaker 1: God ain't got no protection you on dirt. You got
- 6:01Speaker 1: what you got coming. You made a decision. You go
- 6:05Speaker 1: down there to get some you might got get got See,
- 6:09Speaker 1: we got to come on. I'm talking to so many
- 6:12Speaker 1: men out here right now. I should have said that
- 6:14Speaker 1: any me getting but a conversation and kind of got
- 6:16Speaker 1: away from me. I was going to talk to you
- 6:18Speaker 1: about something else this morning, but did just only man.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Because our communities. Man, it's just going to the pot man,
- 6:23Speaker 1: because it ain't nobody can about nobody else. Don't nobody
- 6:28Speaker 1: care when they see that young dude over that doing wrong.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Look at them foods over that man, Go over there
- 6:32Speaker 1: and talk to one of them. Put them to the side. Man.
- 6:36Speaker 1: You might not be able to approach the group, but
- 6:38Speaker 1: you can approach an individual. Come in, young man, Let
- 6:41Speaker 1: me talk to you. I saw you the other day. Man.
- 6:43Speaker 1: You look like you got something going on in your life.
- 6:44Speaker 1: What's happening with you? Let me talk to you, man,
- 6:47Speaker 1: Let me share something I learned. I was doing what
- 6:49Speaker 1: you was doing. You know it's like Toimmy did a
- 6:52Speaker 1: prank phone call one time as a limo driver, and
- 6:56Speaker 1: the dude the prank was he called this limo company
- 6:59Speaker 1: to add that's this limo driver to take him to
- 7:03Speaker 1: this location late at night. And the limo driver got
- 7:06Speaker 1: a young business he going, yeah, okay, I got you.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I don't normally work like that. But how long you
- 7:11Speaker 1: need it? He said for just bout an hour. He said, well,
- 7:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to charge you for the full three though,
- 7:15Speaker 1: because a three hour minimum. Tommy told him, now, I
- 7:18Speaker 1: just need it for one hours. He said, okay, I'll
- 7:20Speaker 1: give you a break, young man. You're trying to do.
- 7:22Speaker 1: So where you want to go? He gave the address.
- 7:24Speaker 1: The man stopped writing. He said, that's a bank. He
- 7:28Speaker 1: said yeah. He said, you want to go to the
- 7:30Speaker 1: bank at twelve thirty at night. He say yeah, and
- 7:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna be in for a few minutes. And when
- 7:36Speaker 1: I come out that bank, I need for you to
- 7:39Speaker 1: flow it that to dude with the limo. He stopped writing.
- 7:42Speaker 1: He said, ho, hold on, hold on, man, you want
- 7:46Speaker 1: me to take you to a bank twelve thirty at night.
- 7:49Speaker 1: You're gonna be in there for a few minutes and
- 7:51Speaker 1: you're gonna come out and you want me to float it.
- 7:55Speaker 1: He says, sir, I don't do stuff like that. He said,
- 7:57Speaker 1: you got the wrong company. He said, what made you
- 7:59Speaker 1: call him? He said, hey, man, don't worry about that.
- 8:01Speaker 1: You a limo come to you. Just drive. He stopped
- 8:04Speaker 1: and took the time out. He said, young man, let
- 8:07Speaker 1: me tell you something. He said, I've been down before,
- 8:10Speaker 1: I've been locked up before. It ain't pretty. He said,
- 8:13Speaker 1: that's what's wrong with you young people to day. Instead
- 8:16Speaker 1: of going to get a job, trying to work your way,
- 8:17Speaker 1: you're always looking for some fast money. He's I'm gonna
- 8:20Speaker 1: tell you what I already know. Don't go down they're
- 8:22Speaker 1: messing with them people's money like that because they love
- 8:24Speaker 1: that money where more than they love you, and they're
- 8:26Speaker 1: gonna do something to you down now. Now, you stop
- 8:29Speaker 1: this foolishness. And I'm not caring you nowhere, but I'm
- 8:32Speaker 1: gonna take a little bit of time out to tell
- 8:34Speaker 1: you something. Don't go down here with messing with these
- 8:37Speaker 1: people's money because it ain't gonna go good. They're gonna
- 8:40Speaker 1: take care of their business where they come to that money.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Tommy kept insisting to this man to pick him up
- 8:44Speaker 1: in the limit. It was a playing phone call. But
- 8:46Speaker 1: the point I'm making is the man took out time.
- 8:49Speaker 1: He could just hung the phone up. But you know
- 8:51Speaker 1: what he's said, he's a hold up young man. Let
- 8:54Speaker 1: me hip you to something. Because the brother had been
- 8:56Speaker 1: locked up before. He said, no, no, no no, I see
- 8:58Speaker 1: I've done that when I was young. Now I a'most
- 9:00Speaker 1: stop and I'm gonna take some moment out to tell you.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna here, working man trying to earn an honest living.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I ain't going back down there because I don't. I don't.
- 9:07Speaker 1: They make you eat what they want you to eat.
- 9:08Speaker 1: You don't want the food. You gotta get up when
- 9:10Speaker 1: they say get up. You gotta stay where they say stay,
- 9:13Speaker 1: live with who they say live. He said, man, you
- 9:15Speaker 1: don't want that, and he just tried to talk the
- 9:17Speaker 1: young man out of it. You can change a young
- 9:20Speaker 1: man's mind with a conversation. A conversation can change a
- 9:24Speaker 1: young man's man. Most of these young men that are
- 9:26Speaker 1: misguided ain't having conversations with real men. They're just not
- 9:30Speaker 1: having them. And it's up to us who know what
- 9:33Speaker 1: manhoo it is is to start delivering the message. The
- 9:36Speaker 1: problem that we have in our communities we could solve ourselves.
- 9:39Speaker 1: It didn't escalated to a point because we who are men,
- 9:42Speaker 1: won't stop on our corporate climb and our day to
- 9:46Speaker 1: day making money and trying to ball out. We won't
- 9:49Speaker 1: stop and grab some of these young soldiers and tell
- 9:51Speaker 1: them the truth about manhood. That's the real deal. Okay,
- 9:54Speaker 1: So I went there. I don't know where they came from.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening, ladies and gentlemen. Look at it. See it.
- 10:05Speaker 1: It's hell, It's a new day. Wow. That's powerful. It's
- 10:11Speaker 1: powerful and at the same time it's very humbly. So
- 10:14Speaker 1: with that in mind, I recite something my mother used
- 10:18Speaker 1: to say that today is the day that the Lord
- 10:20Speaker 1: has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I'm already glad. Join in, ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harben
- 10:28Speaker 1: Martin show about the Pop All Sherley Strawberry calling from
- 10:32Speaker 1: real mouth of the South. Junior is out the day
- 10:34Speaker 1: and the legend that is Nephew Tommy, We the pop
- 10:39Speaker 1: pop out. You know, norml say, Junior wants on your
- 10:42Speaker 1: mind to day, and then he give me something that
- 10:44Speaker 1: he even thought of he didn't wondering about but he ain't. Okay,
- 10:47Speaker 1: I got something. I got something. Okay, Well here it
- 10:51Speaker 1: is happy birthday, so well I say it has a
- 10:54Speaker 1: birthday to my son. Yeah, this is his birthday. So
- 10:57Speaker 1: let's just check us in the order that it happened.
- 10:59Speaker 1: I didn't know you twenty five years ago. Yeah, I
- 11:03Speaker 1: ain't had to take care of Junior. So just wait
- 11:05Speaker 1: on junior birthday for a second. What you got, Tommy? Okay,
- 11:10Speaker 1: tell me if I'm wrong or not. My my wife
- 11:15Speaker 1: ran and jumped in my arms. Yes, I nah, nah,
- 11:23Speaker 1: it's a beautiful thing. It's a nice gesture. I like it.
- 11:26Speaker 1: But listen to all you ladies out there. We can't
- 11:32Speaker 1: we can't pick all y'all up. Sometimes we gotta lift
- 11:35Speaker 1: some of y'all up in spirit. You know what I'm saying.
- 11:38Speaker 1: I'm just a week It ain't ain't a week back,
- 11:43Speaker 1: it ain't the back. It's maybe, well, you know, it's
- 11:48Speaker 1: just maybe. Maybe y'all ain't what you was. You know,
- 11:52Speaker 1: you know some of y'all, you know, graduated past. Jump.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Wait now, I gotta stop always here. You know what
- 11:59Speaker 1: I'm saying? You know, yeah, you know I might I
- 12:03Speaker 1: might be the same strong as I was, but you know,
- 12:07Speaker 1: you just require more strift. Now hello, you know, and
- 12:13Speaker 1: then a lot of y'all when y'all jump, if y'all
- 12:15Speaker 1: don't know how to jump, and you come in awkward,
- 12:21Speaker 1: come in, you're coming in hot, and however we come
- 12:26Speaker 1: in catch us. Well, you know we're gonna do that,
- 12:29Speaker 1: but we want you all know, not a little joyous
- 12:31Speaker 1: moment you're having up in our arms. We're not sharing
- 12:34Speaker 1: that moment. You know, we kind of got a little
- 12:37Speaker 1: like m Come on, now, let me ask you what's
- 12:41Speaker 1: your question though, Tom? When people get married. When people
- 12:45Speaker 1: get married, are they still carrying or men still carrying
- 12:49Speaker 1: their their brides across the threshold? You when you getting married,
- 12:56Speaker 1: you ain't caring them across the threshold no more. You
- 12:58Speaker 1: car them across the whole the whole hole, dog whatever, hoole,
- 13:04Speaker 1: y'all getty and you'll ask got to get to carry it.
- 13:07Speaker 1: That's what marriage is. You ain't amal threshold. It's the
- 13:11Speaker 1: whole hole. The whole hole. It's the danger hole. It's
- 13:15Speaker 1: to we need mo hole. It's that they put a
- 13:17Speaker 1: notice on the door. Hoole. It's the kids want this hole.
- 13:21Speaker 1: It's that there's a field trip hole. It's still you know,
- 13:25Speaker 1: they need new shoes. Hold, I'm just you know, it's
- 13:28Speaker 1: just it. And you know what, Tommy, it just is
- 13:31Speaker 1: what it is. Dog. That's our job. Just gonna get
- 13:34Speaker 1: to do it, all right. Coming up at thirty two
- 13:36Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. It is Monday. It is Monday,
- 13:39Speaker 1: and the pastors are here with church complaints right after this.
- 13:43Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, it is Monday, so you know
- 13:48Speaker 1: what that means. It's time once again for church complaints.
- 13:54Speaker 1: We we gevel, you know most put crpious way. We
- 14:05Speaker 1: fudulate on the hypothesis of renewable iniquity. Uh, we're gonna
- 14:17Speaker 1: talk to you this morning in the form of complaints
- 14:22Speaker 1: to ostracize the deprivarities of a situation that is clerically ingenuity,
- 14:35Speaker 1: that's rights. And we we we we we we we
- 14:42Speaker 1: demonstrations of depravaty, demonstrations that do another Latin word means demonstrate.
- 14:52Speaker 1: And we gonna go ahead and begin with opprocurity of
- 14:58Speaker 1: a lord. Preach all right, pastor. People are upset with
- 15:10Speaker 1: Sister France and saying that she's peeing on herself in
- 15:13Speaker 1: church she's not pinning. She put ice in her droughts
- 15:18Speaker 1: because of the heat. Past that we don't have to
- 15:21Speaker 1: do something about this air conditioner. You're gonna have to
- 15:23Speaker 1: do something about it. But that's that's not not peeing,
- 15:26Speaker 1: that's ice in her droughts. That's what that is. Why
- 15:29Speaker 1: are we still at this church? Why we we are
- 15:32Speaker 1: dealing with the air conditioner problem and have been for
- 15:37Speaker 1: several years now. We can't seem to get nobody to
- 15:42Speaker 1: come out because we'd got out that we don't pay
- 15:46Speaker 1: our bills, so we can't get now our conditioning man
- 15:52Speaker 1: to come out. All we can afford is the heating guy.
- 16:00Speaker 1: We're good in the winter, and you know he's he's
- 16:03Speaker 1: available all summer long, so he come out. But that
- 16:13Speaker 1: all right, I understand now, Now listen to me close now,
- 16:17Speaker 1: brother Fleming got broke in onto last week, all right.
- 16:21Speaker 1: The man tied up the woman and the head of
- 16:23Speaker 1: Fleming at gunpoint and demanded money, and Jerry, now, he said,
- 16:29Speaker 1: I'll give you everything if you just cut her loose
- 16:33Speaker 1: and let her go. The burglar said, you love your
- 16:36Speaker 1: wife like that, don't you. He said, Uh, that's not
- 16:39Speaker 1: my wife, that's my neighbor. My wife would be here
- 16:43Speaker 1: in a minute. Now, what he's asking us for his
- 16:45Speaker 1: hotel money so he don't go through this kind of
- 16:48Speaker 1: mess again, that's what he's asking about. Oh, that's what
- 16:51Speaker 1: he needs. That's very interesting. I'll say, right or who is? Who? Who? Or?
- 17:01Speaker 1: Who is? Just decon River moves its brother Fleming to
- 17:05Speaker 1: come in, Brother Fleming on Cook thinking you got to
- 17:11Speaker 1: get the evidence out the house. Wonderful choice, but we
- 17:18Speaker 1: can't help. What you need to do, Reverend Fleming is
- 17:22Speaker 1: you don't need hotel money. You won't you just go
- 17:26Speaker 1: with her house because Dan broke yet seemed like you
- 17:30Speaker 1: need the safe places what you need? Go ahead? Uh, well,
- 17:36Speaker 1: now we got an interesting situation here. Our next Sunday,
- 17:40Speaker 1: he's asking U. Brother Herchel Walker wants to make a
- 17:44Speaker 1: visit and says he wants to come sing uh, mop
- 17:48Speaker 1: that deck and make it shine. He wants to sing
- 17:51Speaker 1: a solo, mop that deck and make it shine. Um.
- 17:55Speaker 1: But it's up that you passed if we want him
- 17:57Speaker 1: to come and well tell brother Virsure. What I will
- 18:02Speaker 1: allow him to do is come to the church. And
- 18:06Speaker 1: before he says he has to talk for ten minutes
- 18:15Speaker 1: on subjects and issues concerning our community. I don't know
- 18:23Speaker 1: about that pass ten minutes. That's a long time. Well,
- 18:27Speaker 1: the wold on Hawai ain't finished. What what what else?
- 18:31Speaker 1: And within the ten minutes, if you can talk for
- 18:36Speaker 1: ten minutes without hearing any of the following phrases from
- 18:41Speaker 1: the congregation, like, for example, what the hell? Oh no
- 18:51Speaker 1: he didn't black bow uncle tom jeeke oh having and
- 19:12Speaker 1: any or any out version? Where are your kids at?
- 19:20Speaker 1: Somebody's bound to at that one having all of them
- 19:26Speaker 1: all at them all right, Now, this is a sensitive
- 19:30Speaker 1: subject here, Pastor. The church is having a I don't
- 19:33Speaker 1: know if I brought you up to speed on this.
- 19:35Speaker 1: The church is having a fundraiser with the female members
- 19:37Speaker 1: watching cars in white baby teas. Now, the men's club
- 19:44Speaker 1: feels that System Monica shouldn't participate because they're trying to
- 19:49Speaker 1: raise money and they feel like nobody will pay her
- 19:52Speaker 1: or tip her. Now they definitely won't calling uh, sister
- 19:56Speaker 1: call and since of watching these cars, but they don't
- 19:59Speaker 1: they Well, I want to bring the male membership up
- 20:05Speaker 1: to speed on something. The problem ain't system Monocle. The
- 20:11Speaker 1: problem is Sister Sheldon, Sister car make it, make it
- 20:18Speaker 1: plain path. We need peeblue or be able to see
- 20:22Speaker 1: the cars that I don't wash car and I want
- 20:28Speaker 1: to thank sister monucle for washing both cars than as
- 20:34Speaker 1: the CLO. Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the building,
- 20:37Speaker 1: ready for your love questions coming up next. You're listening
- 20:41Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 20:44Speaker 1: top of the hour and Entertainment News. We're gonna tell
- 20:47Speaker 1: you how you can register to win get this fifteen

- 37:33Speaker 1: Do not do that. But Chicago is a great city,
- 37:36Speaker 1: you know, and hopefully, um well this there's a huge
- 37:39Speaker 1: argument between that New York on our set of Family Feud,
- 37:43Speaker 1: because we have a lot of New Yorkers and a
- 37:45Speaker 1: lot of Chicagos, and there's a huge argument about who
- 37:48Speaker 1: has the best pizza and the New Yorker adamant, but
- 37:52Speaker 1: I must tell them people in the Chicago got the
- 37:56Speaker 1: best pizza. The best pizza you got that you have

- 53:22Speaker 1: you here. It is the Strawberry Letter. Subject a game
- 53:26Speaker 1: of cat and mouse every night. Dear Stephen Shirley, my
- 53:31Speaker 1: husband and I got married two months ago and I
- 53:33Speaker 1: haven't been getting any sleep. I need your help on
- 53:36Speaker 1: how to get my husband to calm down. I married
- 53:40Speaker 1: a very religious man and he wanted to be a pastor,
- 53:44Speaker 1: but changed his mind about a year ago. Because of that,
- 53:48Speaker 1: he already thinks he is one. He insisted we wait
- 53:52Speaker 1: until marriage to have sex, so we did kind of.
- 53:56Speaker 1: We pooled around once just to see if we were compatible,
- 54:00Speaker 1: and it was great, so I was excited for a
- 54:02Speaker 1: married life with him. As soon as I said I do,
- 54:06Speaker 1: he was ready for some action. We had sex between
- 54:09Speaker 1: the wedding and our reception while I was trying to
- 54:12Speaker 1: change into my second dress. I was not even in
- 54:15Speaker 1: the mood, but he started quoting scripture about how a
- 54:18Speaker 1: woman is supposed to treat her man. I tried to
- 54:21Speaker 1: stay at our reception as long as I could because
- 54:24Speaker 1: he kept whispering to me all that he was going
- 54:26Speaker 1: to do to me that night. I was too tired
- 54:30Speaker 1: for all of that, and he didn't care. We have
- 54:32Speaker 1: had so much sex since that night, and I have
- 54:35Speaker 1: to run, hide and make up excuses to get a
- 54:38Speaker 1: break from pleasing him. Don't get me wrong, it's fantastic,
- 54:43Speaker 1: but too much of a good thing is a problem.
- 54:45Speaker 1: He likes the game of cat and mouse and capturing
- 54:48Speaker 1: me all over the house. I suggested we try sex
- 54:51Speaker 1: at lunchtime, and he said it will make him too
- 54:54Speaker 1: tired to finish his day in the mornings. He said
- 54:57Speaker 1: he has to prepare mentally for his day, so sex
- 55:00Speaker 1: won't work. He only wants to have sex at night,
- 55:04Speaker 1: all night like three times a night. I sat him
- 55:08Speaker 1: down and set him down and told him we have
- 55:11Speaker 1: to compromise, and he looked so defeated that I felt
- 55:15Speaker 1: bad for him. We're both thirty, and my aunt said,
- 55:18Speaker 1: he will settle down soon. At what age does a
- 55:21Speaker 1: man settle into a sensible sex schedule? How do I
- 55:25Speaker 1: handle this? Well? I would think a sensible sex schedule
- 55:29Speaker 1: would be one that you guys, you know, to use
- 55:32Speaker 1: your word compromised about, And right now that's not happening.
- 55:36Speaker 1: You know, maybe as he gets older, forties, fifties, maybe
- 55:39Speaker 1: he'll slow down. Then he wanted to be a pastor,
- 55:44Speaker 1: you said, but he changed his mind. I really don't
- 55:46Speaker 1: think that's how that works. When you have a call
- 55:49Speaker 1: in your life to be a pastor but you have
- 55:51Speaker 1: other problems. You're trying to get him off you. That's
- 55:54Speaker 1: what you're trying to do. And this is something because
- 56:00Speaker 1: if you're complaining this soon into the marriage, it's only
- 56:04Speaker 1: been two months. Okay, you're newlyws. That's what you're supposed
- 56:08Speaker 1: to be doing. You're supposed to be doing it, doing
- 56:12Speaker 1: it a lot, Okay. Then later on, like your aunt said,
- 56:16Speaker 1: it slows down. But this is your issue. It's important
- 56:19Speaker 1: to you. You're right. Sometimes too much of a good thing, is,
- 56:22Speaker 1: you know, too much? It can be your husband has
- 56:25Speaker 1: lived a sheltered lifestyle, trying to be a pastor and
- 56:28Speaker 1: all that, and he's trying to get it in as
- 56:30Speaker 1: much as he can without any regard to your feelings.
- 56:33Speaker 1: It's all his way or no way. He even quotes
- 56:36Speaker 1: the Bible to get you to try and guilt you
- 56:40Speaker 1: into having sex with him. He could compromise, like you say,
- 56:44Speaker 1: with you do some morning, some lunchtime, some afternoons. But no,
- 56:49Speaker 1: he says, that doesn't work for him. But what about you?
- 56:53Speaker 1: You know? And then nighttime you know is good of course,
- 56:56Speaker 1: but not all night. You got to go to sleep
- 56:59Speaker 1: at some point. Again, your man needs to learn and
- 57:02Speaker 1: understand the meaning of the word again, compromise if you
- 57:06Speaker 1: guys are going to be happy in this marriage. And
- 57:08Speaker 1: that's the thing. You guys have years to be together,
- 57:10Speaker 1: God willing, So what is the rush? Slow it down
- 57:14Speaker 1: just a little bit, that's all you're asking. This is
- 57:16Speaker 1: not a race, it's a marriage. So after this honeymoon
- 57:19Speaker 1: period you can start to pace yourselves because you're gonna
- 57:22Speaker 1: have to get some sleep at some point, and he
- 57:25Speaker 1: needs to know that just because you're his wife and
- 57:28Speaker 1: you're there, you know that doesn't mean that, you know,
- 57:30Speaker 1: he gets to pounce on you whenever, whatever, however he
- 57:33Speaker 1: wants to. It's not just about him. This is about you, too, Steve.
- 57:40Speaker 1: I have answers to all these questions this woman has
- 57:43Speaker 1: before we get to him. Let's go through some parts
- 57:46Speaker 1: of the letter that I found to be all interesting.
- 57:52Speaker 1: A game of cat and mouse every night, that's the
- 57:55Speaker 1: name of the subject. Every night. We gotta do it
- 57:59Speaker 1: every night. Now, she'd been married to the husband for
- 58:03Speaker 1: two months and she's been getting no sleep, and she
- 58:07Speaker 1: needs some help on how to get her husband to
- 58:10Speaker 1: calm down. She said, I married a very religious man
- 58:14Speaker 1: that he wanted to be a pastor, but changed his
- 58:17Speaker 1: mind by the year ago. Okay, I didn't know you
- 58:21Speaker 1: could do that. I didn't know you could take your
- 58:24Speaker 1: call and then just go I ain't even to do that. Well,
- 58:26Speaker 1: I guess you can not answered the call, but I
- 58:28Speaker 1: guess you change your mind. Y'all headed for some for
- 58:32Speaker 1: some more rocket roles. I'm gonna just tell you that
- 58:34Speaker 1: since he's a very religious man, because of that, he
- 58:39Speaker 1: already thinks he's won. So he insisted that y'all waiting
- 58:44Speaker 1: to marriage before y'all had sex, And you did that
- 58:47Speaker 1: kind of but your food around one time. Make sure
- 58:49Speaker 1: y'alls compatible. You know, that happens, that's life. And it
- 58:52Speaker 1: was great, okay, So you was excited to have a
- 58:56Speaker 1: married life with him. But as soon as you said
- 59:00Speaker 1: I do, homeboy was ready for action. So right after
- 59:05Speaker 1: the win, before the honeymoon, when you was changing dresses
- 59:12Speaker 1: for your reception, here he come. Oh, boy was ready.
- 59:18Speaker 1: And then you was trying to go when I'm standing
- 59:21Speaker 1: and go into your second dress, and you weren't even
- 59:25Speaker 1: in the mood, but he started quoting scriptures about how
- 59:29Speaker 1: a woman is supposed to treat her man. I'm gonna
- 59:33Speaker 1: stop right there because I have several questions at this
- 59:36Speaker 1: point about this letter. All right, Steve, we'll have part
- 59:39Speaker 1: two of your response coming up at twenty three minutes
- 59:42Speaker 1: after the hour. Today's subject a game of cat and
- 59:45Speaker 1: mouse every night. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 59:48Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, Come on, Steve, let's recap
- 59:53Speaker 1: today's Strawberry letter. Finish up your response. The subject is
- 59:57Speaker 1: a game of cat and mouse. Every night. Well, this
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: woman and married this religious man who was called to
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: be a preacher. But a year ago he decided he
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: wasn't gonna do that because he wanted to live a
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: more obviously different lifestyle than pastor and would require so
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: he bagged out of that. But since he that, he
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: still think he's a minister. And so you all decided
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: not to have sex before you got married. But then
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: y'all went on the food around one time to make
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: sure y'alls comparable compatible. That's human nature. So happened. It
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: was good. So now you're really looking forward to married life.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: But as soon as y'all said I do, I'm talking
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: about right after the vibe, he homeboard ready for action. No, no, damn,
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: all in pictures. Out took these pictures. But you know
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: where my hand is, thought you. So now y'all had
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: sex between the win and your reception. Wow. And then
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: you was trying to change into your second dress for
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: the reception evening. You weren't even in the mood, but
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: he started quoting scriptures about how a woman it's supposed
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: to treat our man. Now, let me ask you a question,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: can y'all please send all of us me and descripture.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: What is the scripture that she's getting all this sex
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: on home? Send us the scripture so we can have
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: the scripture because I'm very unfamiliar and if anybody knows
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: the scripture, that make it a require minute that y'all
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: do what we want y'all to do and how you
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: want to do it in many times? Can you please
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: send us a copy of the thank you? What are
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: you going to apply? I'm gonna read it to my wife. Yeah,
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: now here's another problem. And then she said, I try.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I had to stand the reception as long as I
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: could because he kept pushing to me all that he
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: was gonna do to me that night. I was too
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: tired for all that, and he didn't care. You know,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: I've noticed a lot of women because of the activities
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: of the wedding day and the reception. I've heard a
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: lot of people say that that night, that night of
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: the wedding, it don't be all that y'all thought it
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: was gonna be, because she'd be woe out. Yeah, so
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: you know, but he don't care. The lady said, we
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: have had so much sex since that night that I
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: got to run, hide and make up excuses to break,
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: to get a break from pleasing him. And then she
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: tried to fix it. Don't get me wrong, it's fantastic.
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: No it ain't. But too much of a good thing
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: is a problem. And then he want to play cat
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: and mouse all night long, and then and that's what
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: it's up. So she had to go hide and then
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: he find her. Now this ain't cat and mouse, this
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: is hide and seek. The only way you gonna get
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: out of this problem is from now on, when y'all
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: play high and seek, you're gonna have to leave the
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: house back completely. Sneak out. Did you say, put a
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: ladder up against the garage and climb up on it
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: and then kick the ladder open. He will never find
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you up there, but you have got to get out
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: of that house. So now here's the problem too. He
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: don't like sex doing the day because she didn't try
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: to tell him, let's have lunch, but he doesn't. He
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: can't get it in the morning because he wants to
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: have sex. You know. He told you that he can't
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: compromise because I suggested to have sex and lunch, he said,
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: to make him too tired to finish the day. Then
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: in the morning he got to prepare mentally for his days,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: so sex won't work. He don't want to have sex
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: at night. I set him down and told him we
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: got to compromise. He looked so defeated. I felt bad.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: We're both thirty, and my aunt said he will settle
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: down soon. At what age does a man settling into
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: a sensible sex How do I handle it? Well, let
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: me help y'all with that, because I know exactly when
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: his ass is gonna settle into a sensible sex schedule.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: As soon as y'all have kids. Boom, settle case clothes.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: You ain't got where about all this where you every night?
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: And then he gonna help out with these kids. He
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: got to get up in that two hour feed and
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: scheduling all that soon as y'all have kids. If I'll
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: tell you something else, if he tried to open a business, Oh,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: he's gonna set his ass right on downed. Oh you
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: got to think now. See, so y'all just missing a
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: couple of things. Y'all ain't got no family started, and
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: y'all ain't got no real business going. Y'all both at work.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: As soon as y'all get to having dreams and aspirations
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: as soon as y'all sit down and feel out that
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: vision and find out what everybody won't and think. And
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: now you realize what it's gonna take to make that
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: vision board come through, come true. Oh, you're gonna get
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: on the sensible sexual schedules. Then you can believe that
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: some kids and some visions. All you got to do
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: is wan't more and have more And here comes a
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: whole bunch of sensible as six. Congratulations, you are now
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: into this sexual or sensibility phase of life, and them
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: kids gonna help you be real sensible. All right, Steve,
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: I sent you a scripture. Yeah, I'll read it when
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: we come back. Send it to me too. Now I'm
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: gonna say, I'm gonna if you ain't gonna want to
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: come all right? All right? Thank you. Um. You can
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: hit us up on Instagram at Steve har the FM
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: to comment on today's Strawberry Letter. You can also check
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand. They're coming up next.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: It is Sports Talk with Tommy. That should be fun. Yes,
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: it is time now for Sports Talk with Tommy. What
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: you got Tommy here? All right? I got something, Steve
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: right here. The Houston Texans have recent settlement with thirty
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: women who made claims or were prepared to make claims
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: against the NFL organization for it's a large role regarding
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: sexual misconduct allegations against Cleveland Brown's quarterback, this Sean Watson.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: Each of the thirty settlements are confidential. Okay, they're confidential.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: The Texans owners issued the statement on Friday. We hope
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: this resolution will provide some form of closure to the
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: parties involved, our fans, and the Houston community at large.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: We will now turn our focus to the future and
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: doing what we can to ensure respect for all. So
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: now you got your quarterback. Well, well that's not what
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: that says for us. What that says is the owner
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: who's next door neighbor is the lawyer to all these
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: girls who he went to ruin Deshaun Watson since Deshaun
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: Watson didn't want to play for Houston. Now them backfired,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: and now the next door neighbor, because they ain't speaking
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: no more, then turn to everybody. So now they pay
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: a settlements out. Oh see, you got to be careful
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: when you dig a hole for something, because you might
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: end up in that same hole. I'm talking about the
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: owner of the Texas trying to uh destroy lawyer. Yeah
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: he he lived right next door to the owner when
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: when Deshaun said he didn't want to play, and they
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: sick the bulldogs on DeShawn. So but now the bulldog
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: to turn around bit yourself. See you gotta be careful
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: with that right there. Now, that ain't speculation. That's inside
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: Pimperie pipe to play for the Browns or not. Oh no,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: not yet to judge still ain't finished her ruling. You
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: think he's gonna be suspended for a few games. Yeah,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: they're gonna suspend it for a few things and then
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: just not the whole year. It just can't be the
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: whole year. He better be all that when he hit
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: the field though, he better look, man, this was this
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: was a money situation from the trying to get though
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: and that's what it is. Steve Huh said, Oh yeah,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: the way they went, the way that lawyer went and
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: rounded up everybody to make the case bigger and bigger.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: And now everybody, you don't look, there's no criminal things.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: It's got thrown out of grand jury. Try twice. Now, everybody,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: take a settlement payment. See, why don't you take them
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: settlement payments? Come on now, But do you think he'll
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: get any massages in Cleveland? I'm just I just stro
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: watching in Cleveland. You have all your massage. You're gonna
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: be at your training facility by some dude. All right, listen,
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: all right, thank you, nephew, and for junior with sports
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, guys,
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Boosey is back in the news after he got pulled
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: over and nearly as nah, yeah, he got pulled over
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: during a traffic stop in Georgia. Boosey was allegedly pulled
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: over for having heavy window tent and concealed tags. When
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: they stopped the vehicle, officers said they smelled marijuana, which
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: triggered a search that turned up a few grams of
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: weed and a large bag of cash. Video from the
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: traffic stop shows Bootsey ranting about how he moved to
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: rural Georgia to get away from the cops, noting the
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: six years he's spent in prison before being found innocent
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: and becoming visible visibly angry because he feels like there's
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: a target on his back. Take a listen, I moved
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: out here for trailing home to the sale money hard.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: It's not stolen. Registration is right, the tag is right.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: I was poured over because he's bootstick hard targeting my vehicle.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: It's targeting my field. If I was a white college player,
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: you wouldn't with my field. If I play soccer or baseball,
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: you wouldn't with my field. You'll stopper car autographic. Well
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: that's true, Bootsy. But now that we know that, you
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: know what it is, and you're Georgia, don't listen to me.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: I live here fifteen miles outside of Atlanta. Your ass
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: is in Georgia. Yeah, the real Georgia. You're gonna learn
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: around here. Boy. No, And so I you know, I'm
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: you know, boot Bootsy may very well be being very factual. Yeah,
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: but you know what this is. You know what this
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: he is, man, and we have to deal with it constantly. Ye,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: black man in America. I'm dealing with some issues right
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: now in in in this state. It ain't got nothing
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: to do except it because we black, thin damn thing
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: to do with it. Said, nothing else Wow. Well, after
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: all this, the officers uncuffed Bootsy and the nineteen year
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: old man he was with and said they were free
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: to go. After they issued the citation for the nineteen
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: he took ownership of the we Yeah, he was upset too,
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: He was very angry. Yeah, he went on a ranch. Uh.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: He did get it though, I understand. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: I get it. Man, there you go. Yeah, I'm glad
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: nothing and I'm glad it didn't get worse than that,
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: because we all know it could have been way worse
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: than that. And he got there custom and tripping. Oh,
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: it's usually best to save the rent after you're uncuffed
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: and back at your house. Okay, m hm, yes, put
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: it on social media. It's usually the best time. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: because you never know which way it's gonna go once
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: you're stopped. You just never know. Well, let's also give
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: credit to the officers who realized there was a mistake
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: and then tried to do the right thing afterwards. So
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: let's give a shout out to them, because it's so
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: often gold the other way. You know, it's it's dog
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: gonna shame that you gotta sell break not getting shot.
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: I mean, really see that's really a sad day when
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: you have to celebrate not getting shot. That the victory
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: that you got stopped by the police. Yeah, but the
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: victory is you were able to get back in your car. House.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: That's because the common thing is the other way. Oh yeah, yeah, unfortunately,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: but it's a fact. Yeah mmmmmm, it is a fact. Yeah.
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: Well that was yeah one in the wind column. I
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: guess you could say definitely, m I'm glad he was
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: able to walk away, drive away whatever you care. Yeah,
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: And Steve, you're you're you're okay. You said you're dealing
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: with something. You're good. Of course, I'm gonna be fine
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: because God is in control. It's not them. You can
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: put out all the committees you together, You won't. You
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: ain't really in control. It's really you need me to
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: ride down there. Please don't do that. All right, Coming
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have more
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: of the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this. You're
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: listening to show, all right, It's been confirmed that Chloe
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are expecting a baby boy, not together,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: though they're doing this by surrogate. Okay, bea surrogate. Sources
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: tell Page six that Chloe has always wanted a little
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: brother for her daughter True, and decided to go ahead
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: with having the baby with the support of her family.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: A rep for the family confirmed that the baby was
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: conceived in November and Chloe is incredibly grateful to the
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: extraordinary surrogate for this blessing. According to reports, Chloe and
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Tristan are nut back together. Well, why she do that
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: with him? Because she won that her daughter and her
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: next baby to have the same daddy, same dad, Okay,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: same daddy, Okay what she don't like him though, but
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: we're just gonna Yeah, I understand, but but I want
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: your seed though I don't like you. But but you know,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: man up, there's a lot going on with this surrogant
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: mother stuff and like this and on family feud. I

- 1:15:30Speaker 1: Uh well on the stage and uh they had two children.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: But she said, I've given birth to three. And I thought,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: lekain and walked up into this. I thought something happened
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: to the third child. She said, No, I was a surahant.

- 1:20:11Speaker 1: but they're good folks. They ain't trying to mess nobody
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: over and stuff like that. And so I raised my
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: son's to be honorable young men. It's not to say
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: they're not gonna make mistakes, because lord know they daddy did.
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: But I've always been an honorable man and they've followed
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: in that, and so I appreciate that. So Happy birthday
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: went to bryceling Alie hard Happy birthday. He works for
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: his daddy and he really making headway in all of that.
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: So I'm proud of him. That's good. I'm sure he's
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: happy to hear you say that, because your approval. I mean,
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: like all of us, our parents approval means so much
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: to us. And he always wanted to please you and
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: just be a good kid for you. And I think
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: he's you know, we've known him for so long. I've
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: done Winton since he was a little boy with a
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: suit on three suit, a tie and a hat at
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: three three, No longer than that. He should come to
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: the radio station. He did that drop for us because
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: he couldn't talk, and I thought it was funny, and
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: I had him do it on the radio because who
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: followed me on the radio was not a Cadala cruise,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: Dela cruise, not a cu not a Cadela cruise. And
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Winton couldn't say it, so I had him do the
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: drop and he said, coming up next, not a good
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: day of the cruise. So it was not a good
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: day of the crew. So we kept that for years.
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: What a great kid, Yeah, what a great, great young man.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: He's grown up to be just like your daddy, would
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: look just like your daddy. Yeah, And then we gotta
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: say Happy birthday to Junior. It's his birthday as well. Yeah,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: it's happy, happy birthday Junior. Junior is off today because
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: it is his birthday. So happy birthday, Junior. You're enjoying
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: your day kicking cool. Yep, yep, yep. All right, So
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: Steve in lieu of closing remarks, can we just ask
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: some questions of all right, this is a question that
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: I get asked a lot by women who know that
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: I work with you and who respect you dearly. They
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: all want to know where do they meet and how
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: do they meet good guys? They want to know where
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: do they meet guys? But you know, if there is
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: no where, there is no where. You know, it could
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: be at a construction site, it could be at a mall,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: it could be Yeah, they think it's a place and
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: a car accident, there is no where. And but then
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: see what stops a lot of women from from meeting him.
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: It is because they have that ideal of if I
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: go to this place or if I ten this, I'll
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: meet the man of my dreams. You've got to remove
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: yourself from the equation and start placing yourself in a
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: different frame of mind. So here's the way it works.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: Because you've heard me say that on the show million
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: million times. You can't ask God to bless you and
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: then tell him how to do it right. See, God
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: don't need no help from you figuring out a place
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: and all is here, you don't. Don't worry about that.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: Tell God what you want, tell him exactly what you want,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: and then say now I'm gonna trust in your will
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: and your timing and stop trying to help him. He
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: does not need your help, soul. What that means is
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: what you can do, though, is take care of you.
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: Become the best you can be that transposes itself out
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: into the universe. And those are the things that come back.
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: Your confidence, your caring nature, your ability to take care
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: of yourself, which sends a message to a guy that
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: she has the ability to take care of me and
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: mine I look for. I was always looking for a
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: woman who would not only accept me, but accept mine
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: because I had children, and you know, and if you
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: think men are concerned about that, you know women are
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: concerned about that, right. So if you're the best that
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: you can be in all areas, and a man does
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: meet you and he can see yourself being seeing that
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: same best in you in all areas applied to his
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: areas of life. That's how you get the man of
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: your dreams. It ain't going to home deeper or going
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: to a steakhouse or joining the country club with a membership.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: It ain't that because and you got to take that
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: worry and concern you know too though you know a
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: lot of people are getting together dating. You can meet
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: a lot of men online. You just gotta be a
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: smart way to do it. And I said, just going
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: to Bella Gandhi's dating academy. She teaches women how to
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: do their profiles and stuff online. You know how to play.
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: That's it, you know. But there is no place, so
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: stop worrying about the place and just focus on you
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: and tell God what you want. And God has a
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: soul mate for you. And the only reason he would
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: not allow you to meet the soul mate as you're
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: not ready. That's the only reason you won't meet your
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: soul mate. Okay, it is great advice. Those are my
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: closing remarks. Hell y'all talk to God today. He would
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: absolutely love to hear from me. And don't forget to pray,
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: don't be ashamed to pray, and don't ever be too
