School Board Candidates at Hamilton Southeastern and IPS, Lack of Affordable Childcare in Indiana, Vending Machine with Free Period and Contraceptive Products

The six candidates for the Hamilton Southeastern school board met last week for their only joint forum before the November general election. Eight candidates are running for Indianapolis Public School Board in the upcoming election. The Indiana Chamber of Commerce estimates that lack of affordable childcare options and other issues cost the state more than $4 billion annually. There’s a new vending machine in Tippecanoe County that gives residents free period and contraceptive products.
