- 0:13Speaker 1: them like amazing things and it's not good. Steve hard
- 0:24Speaker 1: to mother, stay, I don't joy. You gotta use that turn.
- 1:24Speaker 1: You gotta turn to turn them out. Got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: out to turn the water the water. Come, come on
- 1:59Speaker 1: your baby, ah ha, i's your will. Good morning everybody,
- 2:05Speaker 1: y'all listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and all it Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Heh man, back in business too, man, Man, How good
- 2:17Speaker 1: is God? I mean, really, if you think about it
- 2:19Speaker 1: in spite of all that's going down in your life,
- 2:22Speaker 1: First of all, it could be worse. But secondly, sometimes
- 2:26Speaker 1: you have to remember. And I've just had to have
- 2:28Speaker 1: this conversation with myself this morning. That's how I'm fresh
- 2:32Speaker 1: on this one right here. When a challenge faces you,
- 2:36Speaker 1: are you going through a difficult moment, or you didn't
- 2:40Speaker 1: hit a bump in the road in the middle of that,
- 2:43Speaker 1: if you could manage to be grateful, it would take
- 2:46Speaker 1: you a long way. Gratitude is a powerful resource. If
- 2:51Speaker 1: you can be grateful in the middle of it, Gratitude
- 2:55Speaker 1: is a powerful resource when it's dim for you, it
- 3:00Speaker 1: didn't got a little bumpy on the road and he
- 3:03Speaker 1: ran into some obstacles, and you didn't ran up into
- 3:05Speaker 1: some detooled signs and your journey ain't smooth as it
- 3:09Speaker 1: was last week or last year. You gotta be grateful
- 3:15Speaker 1: for the things that are going right and that have
- 3:19Speaker 1: gone right, and for the thing that's wrong right now
- 3:22Speaker 1: to get right? Man? Can I share that with you? Man?
- 3:26Speaker 1: Is that a tough one to learn? It is for me.
- 3:28Speaker 1: It has been one of my toughest challenges is to
- 3:32Speaker 1: learn how to be grateful because it's a powerful resource,
- 3:37Speaker 1: but how to be grateful in moments of despair when
- 3:40Speaker 1: it ain't going right. See here's a mistake I would make.
- 3:43Speaker 1: See when something go wrong, I want to focus on
- 3:46Speaker 1: the wrong so much in an attempt to fix it.
- 3:50Speaker 1: But even then, the focus ain't always in to fix it.
- 3:55Speaker 1: The focus becomes, Man, this is bad, man, I can't
- 3:59Speaker 1: believe this has happen. Why just keep going down? That
- 4:02Speaker 1: doesn't fix anything? You know, mealing over it, going over
- 4:07Speaker 1: what's wrong, explaining it, sharing it with your friends, you know,
- 4:14Speaker 1: making it sound worse than it is. Tell the story
- 4:18Speaker 1: for pity from other people. All of that right there,
- 4:21Speaker 1: has nothing to do with the fix. Sometimes you're just
- 4:24Speaker 1: mulling over it. You're just making it worse. You're just
- 4:27Speaker 1: making it a bigger problem. You're manifesting it into your atmosphere,
- 4:31Speaker 1: You're putting it out there in your spirit. Now, all
- 4:33Speaker 1: of a sudden, it consumes your day. Next thing, you know,
- 4:36Speaker 1: you're having a bad day. If you're having a bad day,
- 4:39Speaker 1: it's because you've been having some bad thoughts. So what
- 4:43Speaker 1: I've had to learn how to do, and what I'm
- 4:44Speaker 1: working on this morning, is I'm working on this situation
- 4:48Speaker 1: that's been cropped up. I was going kind of smooth
- 4:51Speaker 1: here for a minute, and now I didn't got real
- 4:53Speaker 1: bumpy in the road, you know, and all this here.
- 4:56Speaker 1: So what I'm thinking about now, though, is even though
- 4:59Speaker 1: I've hit a bump the road, and even though out
- 5:02Speaker 1: and ran into a detour, and even though I've hit
- 5:06Speaker 1: this love, I'm going down into a valley, I ain't
- 5:09Speaker 1: up on the peak. Can I not still be grateful
- 5:13Speaker 1: for all the things that God has given me, for
- 5:16Speaker 1: all the things He's done for me, for all the
- 5:19Speaker 1: things He's brought me through and realizing that even this
- 5:24Speaker 1: that's happening to me again is going to pass too.
- 5:27Speaker 1: He gonna get me through that attitude. Come home, man,
- 5:30Speaker 1: God is a good god man. It's a lot to
- 5:32Speaker 1: be grateful for. So while I'm tripping on this bumping
- 5:35Speaker 1: the road out and hit, what I gotta remember is
- 5:37Speaker 1: all the things He's done for me. And like I say,
- 5:40Speaker 1: my saying is joined depression cannot reside in the same place.
- 5:44Speaker 1: So instead of being down about this new bumping the road,
- 5:47Speaker 1: if I'm constantly filling my mind with the thoughts of
- 5:50Speaker 1: how good he's been to me, of what all he's
- 5:53Speaker 1: done for me, of all the things he's brought me through,
- 5:56Speaker 1: of all the blessings he's presented me with. When I
- 5:59Speaker 1: go down that list, I really don't have a lot
- 6:02Speaker 1: of time to mull over the situation. Now. Do I
- 6:08Speaker 1: have to fix this bump in the road. Of course
- 6:11Speaker 1: I do. Are There's some things I'm going to have
- 6:13Speaker 1: to do the straighten it out, of course it is.
- 6:16Speaker 1: But Steve just going to get the business of doing
- 6:18Speaker 1: it and straighten it out. What you mulling over and
- 6:21Speaker 1: wearing about it for you know, old people. I heard
- 6:23Speaker 1: old people say something I was growing up in the church.
- 6:26Speaker 1: They say, if you're gonna pray about it, don't worry
- 6:28Speaker 1: about it. But if you're gonna worry about it, don't
- 6:30Speaker 1: pray about it. That's an amazing thing. And prayer just
- 6:34Speaker 1: happens to be my weapon of choice. Now, it ain't
- 6:38Speaker 1: always been that way. I want you to understand that
- 6:40Speaker 1: My first weapon of choice was you do it to me,
- 6:43Speaker 1: I do it to you. You call me out, I
- 6:45Speaker 1: call you out, you say something bad about me. I've
- 6:48Speaker 1: tried to find you and say something bad about you.
- 6:50Speaker 1: That was my weapon in the past. How did that
- 6:53Speaker 1: work out for you, Steve? Not so good? Because you
- 6:57Speaker 1: know what, I spend a lot of time fighting back,
- 7:01Speaker 1: kicking back, swinging back, when I could have spent all
- 7:05Speaker 1: that time climbing. See, all you're trying to do at
- 7:08Speaker 1: the end of the day, folks, is have a better
- 7:10Speaker 1: life than the one you got. All you're trying to
- 7:13Speaker 1: do is to improve your position in life. You know,
- 7:15Speaker 1: it's not my business to make sure you don't get
- 7:18Speaker 1: where you're going. Ain't got no time for that. It's
- 7:21Speaker 1: not my job to assure that you ain't as high
- 7:24Speaker 1: as me. I ain't got no time for that. Your
- 7:28Speaker 1: real mission and purpose is to have the best life
- 7:31Speaker 1: that you can have, to ascend to the highest plateau
- 7:35Speaker 1: that you can get to, to make your family as
- 7:37Speaker 1: comfortable as you can, to provide as much as you
- 7:41Speaker 1: can for your family. But legally, see, those of us
- 7:44Speaker 1: are sitting up here trying to come up with sideways.
- 7:46Speaker 1: You can ask a couple million men sitting in prison
- 7:49Speaker 1: today how they wish they hadn't have done that, and
- 7:52Speaker 1: they'll tell you, Oh, man, I wish I never had
- 7:55Speaker 1: did it. I knew not to go down there. Something
- 7:58Speaker 1: told me not to go down that. Man, if I
- 8:01Speaker 1: could change things, I would. But they're sitting somewhere doing
- 8:05Speaker 1: some time that had they made another decision they wouldn't
- 8:08Speaker 1: have to do. Now that don't make them throw away people, na, man,
- 8:12Speaker 1: because everybody make mistakes, and God is in the forgiving business,
- 8:16Speaker 1: and some of us have done some things that really
- 8:19Speaker 1: broke the law, and a whole lot of other things
- 8:21Speaker 1: and deserve to do some time. But through the grace
- 8:24Speaker 1: of God, we didn't. But now we set up here
- 8:26Speaker 1: and we passed judgment on people who got to do something.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Now I don't care, I don't care what you've done.
- 8:31Speaker 1: God can't forgive anything, but our position, our motivation in
- 8:35Speaker 1: life is to try to have the best life we
- 8:38Speaker 1: can have and provide for those around us and make
- 8:40Speaker 1: it comfortable. If that's your ambition, you don't have time
- 8:44Speaker 1: to worry about or concern yourself with another person. And
- 8:49Speaker 1: I wasted time doing that, and that's not the way
- 8:53Speaker 1: to get it done. It's simply mine to your business
- 8:56Speaker 1: taking care of you and getting yourself right and tight.
- 8:59Speaker 1: It's twenty seven, so that's a full time job. So
- 9:02Speaker 1: what I had to learn was and what I've the
- 9:05Speaker 1: reason I've chosen prayer as as my weapon of choice
- 9:09Speaker 1: now is that now prayer helps me that I don't
- 9:13Speaker 1: have to fight back. Now, if I get cornered, I'm
- 9:17Speaker 1: gonna fight you. I ain't even gonna lie to you.
- 9:20Speaker 1: And now I'm still working on some things that trigger me.
- 9:23Speaker 1: You know, you know, you know, and and and and
- 9:27Speaker 1: so I'm I'm slowly getting better at that. But I've
- 9:31Speaker 1: learned that my weapon of choice is prayer now. So
- 9:35Speaker 1: when it happens ugly for me, I pray about it.
- 9:39Speaker 1: When it gets tight and dismal for me, I pray
- 9:43Speaker 1: about it. And the thing about prayer. Man is prayer
- 9:46Speaker 1: changes things? Yes? It does. Now read about it and
- 9:52Speaker 1: try it. That's the deal, Okay, come on, prayer as
- 9:56Speaker 1: a wonderful weapon. You're listening, Ladies and gentlemen. It is
- 10:03Speaker 1: upont us the Steve Harvey Morning Show, so let me
- 10:06Speaker 1: have your undivided attention. Twenty twenty two is a part
- 10:09Speaker 1: of us. If you're still here, you ought to be grateful.
- 10:12Speaker 1: I know I am, and I represent us on the
- 10:15Speaker 1: show and we are. So now let's just get it.
- 10:19Speaker 1: But before we get it, excuse me the old school
- 10:22Speaker 1: that we just popped out of a little where I
- 10:24Speaker 1: don't know where they came from. What you did, what
- 10:27Speaker 1: was very important in my life back up? That't just
- 10:30Speaker 1: research the starting I'm doing that game from It felt
- 10:35Speaker 1: so good and I felt like I was talking to
- 10:37Speaker 1: my brother dip so man, I felt good about that.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the show. Sherley, Strawberry and
- 10:42Speaker 1: Colin for real, that damn Junior, Mississippi Monica and the
- 10:45Speaker 1: legend Nephew Tommy. Good morning everybody today. Man, I'm telling
- 10:51Speaker 1: it's about by today just because you said that up
- 10:54Speaker 1: when was it like up for you? Let me dance
- 10:56Speaker 1: this bad because I don't know I feel. How was
- 10:59Speaker 1: it like in the se What was your daylight? If
- 11:01Speaker 1: you were just like a regular sand of it in
- 11:03Speaker 1: the city with pure coolst nothing nothing superseded coolness, nothing
- 11:13Speaker 1: got in the way of it. That was no, there
- 11:16Speaker 1: was nothing. It was just coolness. That's all I was. Man,
- 11:20Speaker 1: I still am. Yeah, I don't even know. I don't
- 11:23Speaker 1: even we we let cool guy. We messed around and
- 11:26Speaker 1: letting this hip hop dude replaced cool with hard and
- 11:30Speaker 1: that's been the damn problems, so says I. We went
- 11:37Speaker 1: from being cool to hard hard. Biggest mistake we ever made.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Everybody on their album cover was was just smiling and
- 11:45Speaker 1: laughing because we had made it. Now everybody got shoe
- 11:49Speaker 1: polish on their face trying to stand over there looking hard.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Got on the bulletproof vest. I wish to hell out
- 11:54Speaker 1: would pose with a damn bulletproof vest of like, shot me,
- 11:57Speaker 1: you can't hurt me. I'm not feel a challenge nobody
- 12:00Speaker 1: to shoot me by wearing a bulletproof vest. Cool was
- 12:05Speaker 1: what the seventies was about. Mercy, mercy me that it
- 12:12Speaker 1: was kebo brising. Yeah, damn wag cool cool switch. What
- 12:22Speaker 1: had to be cool? Dog, you couldn't get it heat waved,
- 12:26Speaker 1: you had to be cool. The floater, you had to
- 12:29Speaker 1: be cool. My name is Larry, and I like a
- 12:34Speaker 1: woman who looks everything and everybody. They wasn't rapping back then,
- 12:41Speaker 1: they would just stop and start talking on the album
- 12:45Speaker 1: right there? Who did we can be together? Soup? You
- 12:55Speaker 1: know one time I was walking so and you I
- 13:02Speaker 1: saw you in him walking in the rain, stop and
- 13:07Speaker 1: fire off some talking man in the middle of the hook.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Before the hook, I'm from the talk. Let me tell
- 13:19Speaker 1: people for just a little while. I know, we get
- 13:22Speaker 1: tired of talking about miss Deicison, where, religion, so forth?
- 13:25Speaker 1: You dig and like everybody did it. Man, that was
- 13:29Speaker 1: the seventies, straight up coolness. I'm sorry y'all got introduced

- 18:44Speaker 1: It's not it's not approblic professional messaging. In fact, this

- 18:52Speaker 1: my life, this company, this is beside it best employees.
- 18:56Speaker 1: So it is, it is. It's absolutely right. It is illegal.
- 18:59Speaker 1: This is illegal. Yep, yep. I will wait, wait, come on,

- 19:23Speaker 1: I ask you guys something? Do you? Guys? Are you
- 19:25Speaker 1: familiar with your co worker named Barry Dillard? Yes, you
- 19:28Speaker 1: do have to answer this. Barry fired too. How are
- 19:31Speaker 1: you gonna tell him? Let me tell you what's going on.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Barry told me to call you. This is nephew taught

- 20:00Speaker 1: I oh my god, Hey, y'all, nobody has lost their job, Hannah, Frank, David,
- 20:08Speaker 1: nobody has lost their job, but your co worker Barry
- 20:12Speaker 1: Dillard got me the prank phone call. Y'all right, sir,
- 20:14Speaker 1: everybody's got the job. We're good, We're wow. Okay, okay,
- 20:23Speaker 1: I'm good. I'm good. Now good, y'all. Gotta tell me this,
- 20:26Speaker 1: what is the baddest radio show in the land. Let
- 20:30Speaker 1: me hear it clearly, oh man. And that is how
- 20:43Speaker 1: we will start the Tuesday Morning ignorance that it's best. Hey,
- 20:52Speaker 1: we've all been fired once or twice. All right, nephew,
- 20:56Speaker 1: thank you, you did it again. Coming up next, it
- 20:59Speaker 1: is asked to see Yello. Right after this, you're listening
- 21:02Speaker 1: to the Steven Show coming up at the top of
- 21:06Speaker 1: the hour and trending national news. Miss Anne is standing
- 21:09Speaker 1: by with the latest on the investigation of that horrific
- 21:13Speaker 1: fire that happened in the Bronx. We got to say
- 21:15Speaker 1: thank you to all the heroic New York City firefighters
- 21:19Speaker 1: and we are definitely praying for the victims families. Um wow,
- 21:24Speaker 1: what a tragedy. There. Also in trending Entertainment News, Steve,

- 21:34Speaker 1: the Talk, You're just doing your tour, You're going to
- 21:37Speaker 1: be on Jimmy Kimmel Live. All this week, this goes
- 21:40Speaker 1: down and tonight Tonight, Steve, another episode of your hit
- 21:46Speaker 1: TV show, Judge Steve on ABC watching Hullo, Hulu, Hullo,
- 21:53Speaker 1: Lulu ho get on it, hullo, get it right, watch it.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Thank y'all for watch it. Man. It's gonna be really
- 22:04Speaker 1: really funny today. Okay, all right, we'll check it really funny.
- 22:08Speaker 1: We'll talk about all of these stories at the top
- 22:10Speaker 1: of the hour, but right now it is time for
- 22:12Speaker 1: ask the Clolo. Are Steve Harvey in the building? Ready
- 22:18Speaker 1: for your love questions? This one's from Dolla and Tampa
- 22:22Speaker 1: Dollar Rights. I'm a twenty eight year old single female
- 22:25Speaker 1: and I worked the door at a popular club. I
- 22:28Speaker 1: started dating a semi famous guy that I met at
- 22:31Speaker 1: the club, and after five months of dating, he wants
- 22:34Speaker 1: me to quit working at the club. I love working
- 22:36Speaker 1: there at night, so my days are free to focus
- 22:39Speaker 1: on my artwork. Do you think he wants me to
- 22:41Speaker 1: quit so another man won't try to talk to me?
- 22:44Speaker 1: Is he being controlling? No? Being a little bit jealous,
- 22:49Speaker 1: and he might really really care about you. He also
- 22:52Speaker 1: might think it's an opportunity for you not to have
- 22:56Speaker 1: to work. He could be showing you that he's willing
- 22:59Speaker 1: to help take care of you and provide for you.
- 23:02Speaker 1: If he is trying to control you so you don't
- 23:05Speaker 1: get scooped up by somebody else. That's what men do.
- 23:08Speaker 1: It's called marking your territory. What's wrong? Do you know
- 23:13Speaker 1: how many women heard this and went, wait a minute, somebody,
- 23:17Speaker 1: don't come along, tell me I ain't got to go
- 23:19Speaker 1: to work no more, sign me up. And all you
- 23:26Speaker 1: need to do is find out is he or does
- 23:28Speaker 1: he treat you really well? And he's a really really
- 23:31Speaker 1: wonderful guy. That's what you want to find out. You know,
- 23:34Speaker 1: you want to do yardwork, You could do yardwork full time.
- 23:36Speaker 1: It could be an opportunity. I don't know, all right,
- 23:42Speaker 1: Good advice, Clo. Miss Harris and Memphis writes. I work
- 23:46Speaker 1: at a daycare and I offer babysitting services in the evening.
- 23:49Speaker 1: One lady I babysit for is not fit to raise
- 23:52Speaker 1: a child, and I want to report her. She hires
- 23:55Speaker 1: me to babysit her one year old. While she has
- 23:58Speaker 1: wild house parties, the baby and I are always closed
- 24:01Speaker 1: up in a back bedroom. My husband thinks she's being
- 24:04Speaker 1: a responsible parent by hiring me. What are your thoughts
- 24:07Speaker 1: on this, Well, I mean she's hiring somebody to watch
- 24:11Speaker 1: the baby. I mean the fact that she wants to
- 24:14Speaker 1: have wild parties. See, that's the thing that people don't
- 24:17Speaker 1: know when they have a child, that the life you
- 24:20Speaker 1: had stops immediately. Whatever you used to do. You know
- 24:27Speaker 1: that used to is the operative word. It used to.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Now she want to keep throwing the party. So she
- 24:34Speaker 1: didn't hire you. That doesn't mean she's an unfit mom.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Keep my baby back here. I'm paying you to be
- 24:40Speaker 1: back here with the baby. That's responsible. But she's trying
- 24:44Speaker 1: to carry on as before, and that's what the problem is.
- 24:49Speaker 1: I don't think you should report them. She's not leaving
- 24:51Speaker 1: the baby alone. She's not in endangering the baby. Unless
- 24:54Speaker 1: the weed smoke is coming up under the door and
- 24:56Speaker 1: all y'all back there in that room just getting high,
- 24:59Speaker 1: then we gotta problem. You got to stop putting tiles,
- 25:02Speaker 1: doing some it's a little judgmental babysitter. Check I hold her, don't.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I don't know if she's I don't know if you
- 25:16Speaker 1: can prove that in court that she's under fitting more,
- 25:19Speaker 1: if the baby's not being harmed, if the baby's looking
- 25:21Speaker 1: well fed and loved and taking care of, and you're
- 25:24Speaker 1: there while she's stowing these wild parties. I think that's
- 25:29Speaker 1: just you know, some people don't get lucky. Everybody. Mama
- 25:32Speaker 1: ain't a Sunday school teacher, so everybody don't get that one.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Everybody don't get that one. Facts, all right, some of
- 25:41Speaker 1: us getting miss Emma that on that after I'll joint
- 25:44Speaker 1: of some of us Mama run the brothels, some of
- 25:48Speaker 1: us mama that some of my mama. I'm just saying that,
- 25:53Speaker 1: all right, moving on before we get too deep. Bradford
- 25:57Speaker 1: and Dallas says, I'm a sixty four, sixty four you
- 26:00Speaker 1: single man, and I've never wanted to be married until
- 26:03Speaker 1: now I have finally retired and have my fiances and
- 26:08Speaker 1: my finance, excuse me, my finances in order. So I
- 26:11Speaker 1: would love to have a lady friend or a wife
- 26:13Speaker 1: to travel with and just enjoy life. I need advice
- 26:17Speaker 1: and what to say when I'm trying to find the
- 26:19Speaker 1: right woman. I'm sad to say that I would not
- 26:21Speaker 1: settle down with any of the women from my past.
- 26:24Speaker 1: Please help me. Well, Broun, come on now, I don't
- 26:28Speaker 1: know what to tell you. It's sixty four. If you
- 26:31Speaker 1: don't know how to talk to a woman about sixty four,
- 26:33Speaker 1: we're not gonna get dissolved over this. Radio shows not
- 26:36Speaker 1: only one question. What do I say? Why don't you
- 26:40Speaker 1: just say what you wrote in Look, I've never wanted
- 26:43Speaker 1: to be married until now. I'm looking for a woman
- 26:46Speaker 1: that I could settle down. We didn't share my life
- 26:48Speaker 1: with and travel the world. You can just start with
- 26:51Speaker 1: what you wrote, because that's it. Now. If the problem
- 26:55Speaker 1: being that you haven't been married is because you don't
- 26:58Speaker 1: know how I talk to women, now we have a
- 27:00Speaker 1: whole another problem because see right now, I don't know
- 27:05Speaker 1: where we're at Bradford. Now. I'd love to help you
- 27:07Speaker 1: because I'm sixty four two, but I have convinced several
- 27:11Speaker 1: women to marry me. I'm just saying, well, that's why
- 27:21Speaker 1: he wrote to you. I can't get you married. I
- 27:29Speaker 1: just learned how to keep one. I don't don't. I
- 27:33Speaker 1: just figured that part out. So steve the first line
- 27:36Speaker 1: out of his mouth when he sees a woman he's
- 27:38Speaker 1: attracted to. Should be Hello, how are you? My name
- 27:42Speaker 1: is Bradford. Listen. I don't want to disturb you. I
- 27:46Speaker 1: hope I'm not imposing in any way, but I just
- 27:49Speaker 1: wanted to introduce myself and I would I would love
- 27:53Speaker 1: to know your name. In the event that I see
- 27:55Speaker 1: you again, I'd like to be able to, you know,
- 27:58Speaker 1: call you by name. That's an interesting way to do it.
- 28:01Speaker 1: Now you sixty four, next question out your mouth is
- 28:05Speaker 1: you need to ask a series of questions. Have you
- 28:09Speaker 1: been married? Are you married? How many grandkids do you have?
- 28:13Speaker 1: You're gonna need these big questions at sixty four because
- 28:17Speaker 1: grandkids can be kids. You know, if the children have
- 28:22Speaker 1: walked off and left them with Grandmama never came back.
- 28:25Speaker 1: You need to know this because Bradford, you really don't
- 28:28Speaker 1: strike me as father tight. You know, just as you
- 28:36Speaker 1: need to find out a body grandkids and where they stay,
- 28:41Speaker 1: you find go over there and be a whole lot.
- 28:43Speaker 1: You ain't never being because he wants to travel. Yeah,
- 28:46Speaker 1: you already ain't been nobody, man. It's just hard taking
- 28:49Speaker 1: kids with your talk about we find to get a
- 28:53Speaker 1: small cabin, Well, we're gonna need a bigger cabin. That's
- 28:55Speaker 1: what we're gonna need security because it's black bass coming
- 29:02Speaker 1: up here and one of the kids, one of the kids.
- 29:07Speaker 1: These hidden costs in dating this heap. All right, well, Bradford,
- 29:13Speaker 1: I hope you got something out of that. Thank you
- 29:16Speaker 1: seeing thank you. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 29:19Speaker 1: we'll have some entertainment and national news for you right
- 29:22Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show. Well, well, well, mister Steve Harvey,
- 29:30Speaker 1: you have a busy week, sir in La. Yes, you

- 30:18Speaker 1: All right, well, and the audience can imagine. All right,
- 30:20Speaker 1: it'll be a great it'll be a great thing. If
- 30:23Speaker 1: I can get two more weeks. Probably you need three
- 30:26Speaker 1: weeks of the show, so the numbers can settle and
- 30:28Speaker 1: really show where they are. Okay, if I get three
- 30:31Speaker 1: more weeks even in that ballpark of that number we're
- 30:36Speaker 1: talking about Judge Steve of course, tonight eight seventh Central
- 30:39Speaker 1: on ABC and Hulu. Now, you were on Jimmy Kimmel

- 31:07Speaker 1: You know, just who I'm is. You know, that's what
- 31:09Speaker 1: he made me to be. That one. I'm a TV dude.
- 31:11Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, don't d you know I
- 31:17Speaker 1: want to be don't see me. I want to be
- 31:18Speaker 1: here trying and get it. All the movies in there,
- 31:20Speaker 1: they you know, like on Dizzy Wheel. You know I
- 31:22Speaker 1: ain't even get it. You know, I ain't even to
- 31:25Speaker 1: be that indress. Oh hey, man, can I say something?
- 31:28Speaker 1: If you have not seen the movie Harder They Fall
- 31:34Speaker 1: with interests Elber and Regina King and that other all
- 31:39Speaker 1: that dude, boy, what's the boy from from Cole from Startups? Hey,
- 31:47Speaker 1: let me tell you something. Everybody should go on Netflix
- 31:52Speaker 1: and watch Harder They Fall. I don't like Western, Yes
- 31:56Speaker 1: you do. Let me tell you something. I've never seen
- 31:59Speaker 1: one like this. He's a bat you talk about shot whale,
- 32:05Speaker 1: done whale. The suspense, the surprises, the storyline. Harder Day
- 32:12Speaker 1: Fall is the best movie I've seen on Netflix in
- 32:19Speaker 1: five years. Okay, okay, all right, and gonna watch it again,
- 32:25Speaker 1: all right? And um wow, we gotta say this, Steve,
- 32:28Speaker 1: you knew him. Bob Saget Hollywood actor comedian Bob Saggat,
- 32:32Speaker 1: best known, of course, for his role as Danny Tanner
- 32:36Speaker 1: from the sitcom Full House Well. He passed away on
- 32:39Speaker 1: Sunday at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando. The Sheriff's Department
- 32:44Speaker 1: responded to the hotel around four pm Eastern after hotel
- 32:47Speaker 1: security found Bob in his room unresponsive. He was pronounced
- 32:52Speaker 1: dead on the scene, but the circumstances of his death
- 32:54Speaker 1: are still unclear. He was sixty five years old, and um,
- 32:59Speaker 1: I mean the tributes that are pouring out. Everyone said
- 33:01Speaker 1: he was the kindest guy. He was so nice. I mean, man,
- 33:05Speaker 1: just when I tell you, one of the coolest people.
- 33:10Speaker 1: I mean, just super cool every time we saw each other.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Because we want the net where, we want ABC together,
- 33:16Speaker 1: so we should do a lot of promo tours and stuff.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Just a great dude, man, Just a really really top
- 33:21Speaker 1: notch guy. Man. Really sad, wow, really sad going out
- 33:25Speaker 1: to his family of course. All right, we're gonna go
- 33:29Speaker 1: now to the headlines time now, Steve, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:33Speaker 1: miss and Tripp. Well, thank you very much, everybody, and
- 33:36Speaker 1: this is a trip with the news. US and Russian
- 33:39Speaker 1: diplomats met in Geneva yesterday to discuss the issue of
- 33:42Speaker 1: Ukraine in Both sides described the talks as a quote serious,
- 33:46Speaker 1: but they didn't say they were negotiations. They said they
- 33:48Speaker 1: just talks. Moscow's top of diplomats told the US that
- 33:51Speaker 1: his country has no intention of invading Ukraine, but with
- 33:54Speaker 1: some one hundred thousand or so Russian tools right near
- 33:57Speaker 1: the border there, the US would like to see moves
- 33:59Speaker 1: away from Ukraine and not toward it. The discussions took
- 34:02Speaker 1: place all day for about eight hours, and both sides
- 34:05Speaker 1: are scheduled to take part in two more sit downs
- 34:07Speaker 1: in Europe later on this week, again expected to be
- 34:10Speaker 1: talking about Ukraine. President Biden travels to Atlanta to day
- 34:14Speaker 1: to push for support for voting rights legislation. The two
- 34:17Speaker 1: bills that mister Biden is expected to talk about are
- 34:20Speaker 1: designed to protect americans fundamental rights to vote. It's expands
- 34:25Speaker 1: access to the ballot box and ensures that every person's
- 34:28Speaker 1: vote counts. And apparently, although the authorities say that every
- 34:32Speaker 1: vote does count, that a lot of people in this
- 34:34Speaker 1: country have been told incorrectly that their votes don't counsel,
- 34:37Speaker 1: they want to make sure that, yes, when show you
- 34:39Speaker 1: that they do count, they do count. The US Supreme
- 34:42Speaker 1: Courts expect you to rule on a few days on
- 34:44Speaker 1: two of the Biden Administration's vaccine workplace rules. The first
- 34:47Speaker 1: case involves a rule issued by Workplace Safety Agency OSHA
- 34:51Speaker 1: requiring an estimated eighty four a million workers to either
- 34:54Speaker 1: take the shot or be tested every week. At issues
- 34:57Speaker 1: whether OSHA has the authority to issue such a ruling
- 35:00Speaker 1: because of the size and the scope of it, And
- 35:02Speaker 1: that's what the Supreme Court's going to rule on. According
- 35:05Speaker 1: to a monthly survey by the Federal Reserve Bank of
- 35:08Speaker 1: New York, consumers apparently think that inflation will most likely
- 35:12Speaker 1: remain high for the rest of twenty twenty two. At
- 35:15Speaker 1: the same time, though Americans apparently feeling more confident looks
- 35:19Speaker 1: like about the US job market as a whole. The
- 35:22Speaker 1: poll shows that people think that inflation will still be
- 35:24Speaker 1: about oh six percent this year and then wind down
- 35:27Speaker 1: to about four percent and a couple of years. And
- 35:30Speaker 1: on the job front, the results show that Americans not
- 35:32Speaker 1: only feel more positive about the prospects for work, but
- 35:35Speaker 1: they also feel salaries to be going up too. But
- 35:37Speaker 1: you know, they don't know if it's going to keep
- 35:38Speaker 1: places with inflation. Sadly, on the heels of the passing
- 35:41Speaker 1: of the great Sydney Potier and the actor Max Julian,
- 35:45Speaker 1: now comes the loss of a composer, producer in jazz
- 35:47Speaker 1: and R and B artists and activists and our radio colleague,
- 35:50Speaker 1: James M. Twomey, who joined the ancests with Sunday at
- 35:53Speaker 1: age seventy six and Toomey, a Grammy Award winning artists,
- 35:56Speaker 1: scored the music for the TV show New York Undercover.
- 35:58Speaker 1: He wrote hits for Stepney Mills and others worked with
- 36:01Speaker 1: Mile Davis sampled this one. Why Biggie sampled Juicy. The
- 36:05Speaker 1: original version, of course, was a singer Tawaffa. She actually
- 36:08Speaker 1: sang the actual James m. Tuommate was seventy six. Now
- 36:11Speaker 1: back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening show, Well,
- 36:16Speaker 1: Gucci Main just took a page from Cardie B's playbook
- 36:19Speaker 1: by wrapping up a seven figure cash gift to his
- 36:23Speaker 1: spouse um Keisha ke Or. It was her seventh or
- 36:27Speaker 1: her thirty seventh birthday. He gave her a cool million
- 36:30Speaker 1: dollars wrapped in in her Mes box. Steve, she shared
- 36:33Speaker 1: the experience. Huh you do it? Who? Yeah? Okay, so
- 36:41Speaker 1: she shared the experience one of the fanciest unboxing videos
- 36:44Speaker 1: you'll ever see. Gucci Maine, who looked pleased to Steve's
- 36:48Speaker 1: wife's reaction, shared his own tribute to her, writing, Happy
- 36:52Speaker 1: birthday to my wife, the most beautiful woman in the
- 36:55Speaker 1: world and the best thing that ever came into my life.
- 36:58Speaker 1: I love you, Miss Davis forever, and appreciate and will
- 37:03Speaker 1: never take you for granted. I love that, love that Now.
- 37:07Speaker 1: The backstory, Steve is a few weeks ago Cardie b
- 37:09Speaker 1: celebrated her husband offsets birthday by giving him a check
- 37:14Speaker 1: for two million dollars, which you know, so I guess
- 37:17Speaker 1: that's a trend. That's the thing now. So Steve, here's
- 37:21Speaker 1: the question as we count down for your birthday, which
- 37:24Speaker 1: is coming up this Monday. Um, we know maybe some
- 37:28Speaker 1: of your friends us here on the show, your family,
- 37:30Speaker 1: we're struggling with what to get you for your birthday
- 37:33Speaker 1: because you seem to have everything. We're not struggling. We're struggling.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Let me be here from the nephew. What struggling? Who
- 37:42Speaker 1: what I'll call a birthday gift? This birthday is next month.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Have you been to his half? Yes? I have. You
- 37:49Speaker 1: don't mean no damn gift? Where we're going to get it?
- 37:53Speaker 1: But tell me it's his birthday and this is a
- 37:55Speaker 1: major So here all right? I got it? Bachelor for
- 38:00Speaker 1: his outdoor kitchen. I mean I don't. I don't know
- 38:03Speaker 1: where to go. Have you seen the outdoor kitchen? Have
- 38:07Speaker 1: you seen it? The outdoor what outdough endose side dough, marva,
- 38:14Speaker 1: every damn where have you seen it? But I came
- 38:17Speaker 1: home and put my kitchen up. You close, shut it down.
- 38:25Speaker 1: I don't even go out there. No more. This ain't
- 38:27Speaker 1: even a nice out there. I don't even like my
- 38:30Speaker 1: out there. My question was to Steve, so it helped
- 38:36Speaker 1: us out. Steve. I mean, you have everything and I
- 38:40Speaker 1: got it. He just gotta get it. I do think
- 38:42Speaker 1: he loves cigars, don't love yeah, will where. I'll tell
- 38:53Speaker 1: you what y'all could do. The dopest table lighter, torch
- 38:58Speaker 1: table lighter. Oh and the ring light that's mas killing. Yeah,
- 39:04Speaker 1: you know something like that. You know fay Stall looking
- 39:08Speaker 1: cut on. And now if y'all just really want to
- 39:11Speaker 1: do something, y'all can get together and put that million
- 39:14Speaker 1: dollars in that damn her Man's back for ever and
- 39:18Speaker 1: did it to you feeling some kind of way by
- 39:22Speaker 1: each other, then Steve, we'll work on Matt coming up
- 39:28Speaker 1: at thirty four minutes after the hour. We'll check Steve's
- 39:31Speaker 1: voicemail at eight seven seven twenty nine, Steve. Right after this,
- 39:35Speaker 1: you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steven, it's
- 39:39Speaker 1: time to check your voicemail. If you want to leave
- 39:41Speaker 1: Steve a voicemail message called eight seven seven twenty nine
- 39:44Speaker 1: Steve and see if we have a couple of calls
- 39:47Speaker 1: this morning for you. Uh, here's a caller from Philly. Hey, guys,
- 39:53Speaker 1: say Steve's Harvey morn and show the Felicia Costelly calling.
- 39:57Speaker 1: I just want to say I enjoy this show where
- 40:00Speaker 1: I live at now. Um they don't have it live, however,
- 40:04Speaker 1: I like to listen to the recordings on YouTube. It
- 40:07Speaker 1: makes my day and makes my day go faster. I
- 40:11Speaker 1: feel blessed. I feel motivated to count my day. You
- 40:16Speaker 1: guys keep me laughing and keep me encouraged and keep
- 40:20Speaker 1: me motivated. I hope you guys in the new year
- 40:23Speaker 1: and sick up seeds, more blocks and more show for you,
- 40:29Speaker 1: all right, guys, Yeah, wow, that's really nice. Thank you
- 40:34Speaker 1: so much. That's good Philly. Yeah, that's more show. Ye
- 40:42Speaker 1: forget Judge tonight the most Yes, more blessing, more shows. Yes,
- 40:55Speaker 1: all right, let's go to Texas for our next call.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Let's Army. This is that old red neck down here
- 41:02Speaker 1: in the Panhandle that listen to you on ninety three
- 41:06Speaker 1: points the best Army, Lease run for President. I was
- 41:11Speaker 1: just watching New Thing. We need you so bad, miss Army,
- 41:16Speaker 1: and you can take this America and you can change
- 41:21Speaker 1: this America. Please runs for president. Thank you that your
- 41:26Speaker 1: friend from the Panhandle, Manda. You know, man, that's gotta
- 41:39Speaker 1: be over the past two years. That's gotta be the
- 41:43Speaker 1: hundredth person easy that said to me, you should run
- 41:47Speaker 1: for president. Seriously, and I'm not making this up. This
- 41:52Speaker 1: at easily the one hundredth person. These people that don't
- 41:57Speaker 1: understand listen to me. I can't run for president for
- 42:05Speaker 1: some really basic reasons that you're not giving any thought.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Number One, I don't have that kind of money, and
- 42:13Speaker 1: I'm damn sure not spending the money I saved on
- 42:16Speaker 1: a campaign on a campaign. But you can have campaign.
- 42:22Speaker 1: You need to get all that in first. Before I
- 42:28Speaker 1: had to know that it's three hundred million over there,
- 42:31Speaker 1: we're gonna ask some money. Bloomberg had to get behind
- 42:34Speaker 1: me or something like that. That's for stars. I don't
- 42:36Speaker 1: have that kind of money. The second reason I cannot
- 42:39Speaker 1: run for president because I will not do well in
- 42:44Speaker 1: the debate because I'm not gonna take it. I'm not
- 42:49Speaker 1: gonna stand there and watch you lie, and I don't
- 42:52Speaker 1: say nothing to your body or walk over there to you.
- 42:56Speaker 1: I'm walk You can't leave the pody. No, I'm in
- 42:59Speaker 1: your race. You know. Called first it's gonna start with
- 43:03Speaker 1: about ten on them all. Nine. I'm gonna get intimidated.
- 43:06Speaker 1: That's a lawsuit in your face debate, so I can't debate. Okay. Thirdly,
- 43:14Speaker 1: the background chicks, I don't know who y'all think Trump
- 43:19Speaker 1: passed the President I did. You don't know that. I'm
- 43:28Speaker 1: telling you. Let's not say what you did. Okay? All right? Man,
- 43:34Speaker 1: if you talk about your family members, you can't bring
- 43:36Speaker 1: my family. And it is my brothers did we're the
- 43:41Speaker 1: first brothers? Moving on? Coming up next, it is the
- 43:47Speaker 1: nephew with a prank phone call. Right after this President Steve,
- 43:53Speaker 1: you're listening to morning show coming up at the top
- 43:58Speaker 1: of the hour right about form and it's after it's
- 44:00Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for it today and the subject is
- 44:04Speaker 1: hump Day and Wednesdays are two different days. The writer
- 44:11Speaker 1: of this letter, you'll see, we'll get into it in
- 44:13Speaker 1: just a few because right now you're up, nephew with
- 44:17Speaker 1: today's prank phone call. What you got? Well, this goes
- 44:20Speaker 1: out Shirley to all of the members of five Beta
- 44:23Speaker 1: Sigma across the country. You know, the founder's day was
- 44:26Speaker 1: January ninth, and UH got a little something for you.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Members of five Beta Sigma. Right, Tommy Uary ninth, Yeah,
- 44:38Speaker 1: January ninth, Howard University watching, and we got a Sigma
- 44:41Speaker 1: on this show that did not make He can say nothing,
- 44:44Speaker 1: He didn't say nothing. I don't know if Jay, I
- 44:49Speaker 1: don't know if Jay is a Sigma every day. I
- 44:51Speaker 1: think it's different Blue five. This right here is you
- 44:58Speaker 1: ain't no signal, You ain't no sigma. Let's go hello, Oh,
- 45:05Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a Greg please, yeah, this is he?
- 45:08Speaker 1: How you doing? My name is Bernard, five Beta Sigma.
- 45:11Speaker 1: I'm over pledged relations giving you a call to day man.
- 45:16Speaker 1: You attended prev a m University? Am I correct? Yeah?
- 45:20Speaker 1: Am I right? You attended Privy and from my understanding
- 45:25Speaker 1: you pledged five Beta Sigma and fall of ninety one.
- 45:29Speaker 1: That's correct, all right, that's the that's the Beta chapter. Correct, Yes,
- 45:33Speaker 1: all right. Here's where we're having some problems here, going
- 45:36Speaker 1: through the records, going through the records, actually looking at
- 45:39Speaker 1: the records that we have here headquarters. You're not actually
- 45:42Speaker 1: an official member of five Beta Sigma. I don't know
- 45:46Speaker 1: what has taken place, but it's wait a minute, what
- 45:49Speaker 1: what you mean? No? Not a member? Looking at our
- 45:51Speaker 1: records here at national headquarters. It's indicating that you're not
- 45:54Speaker 1: an official member of five Beta Sigma. I don't know
- 45:58Speaker 1: what could have gone wrong with this? Now, Now that
- 46:01Speaker 1: ain't right, man, That ain't right, because see depth data
- 46:04Speaker 1: is recognized nationally, So why wouldn't I be nationally recognized.
- 46:08Speaker 1: I'm not certain, sir. Maybe it's something that took place
- 46:10Speaker 1: on that that actual line of Fall ninety one. We're
- 46:14Speaker 1: actually going to have to do some research on everything
- 46:16Speaker 1: that's going on with your line as well as the chapter.
- 46:19Speaker 1: But how is that possible? If they gave if they
- 46:21Speaker 1: gave me a certificate in the in the plaque and
- 46:23Speaker 1: I got my pen and I mean I'm a Sigma
- 46:26Speaker 1: what you mean? Okay, sir, I don't know what I'm
- 46:29Speaker 1: looking at here, and and please understand, I want to
- 46:32Speaker 1: try to clear this matter up. Yeah, yeah, we need
- 46:34Speaker 1: to do this matter. Who else? Is there somebody there
- 46:37Speaker 1: like a oversee uh maybe the head president or your
- 46:41Speaker 1: branch or something I can talk to or something. Well,
- 46:43Speaker 1: I'm actually I am actually over pledged relations and I
- 46:47Speaker 1: wanted to give you a call personally so we can
- 46:49Speaker 1: try to rectify the matter. And it's going to take
- 46:51Speaker 1: us some time to hiring this thing out. But what
- 46:54Speaker 1: I need you to do as at this point. Yeah,
- 46:56Speaker 1: And you know what the problem is that I'm noticing
- 46:58Speaker 1: is that all of the people that were on your
- 47:00Speaker 1: line they are official for some reason. Mister Gregg is
- 47:05Speaker 1: an official, So I want to I don't understand that
- 47:07Speaker 1: because I was the line president. So how how is
- 47:11Speaker 1: everybody else able to be a sigma and not me
- 47:14Speaker 1: when I did all the paperwork that it takes to
- 47:18Speaker 1: for the process to be right. I don't understanding. Sir.
- 47:21Speaker 1: You know what, brother, I can't call you brother for
- 47:23Speaker 1: the fact that right now I'm telling me brother because
- 47:26Speaker 1: I'm a Sigma. So here's what we're gonna have to do. Greg.
- 47:29Speaker 1: We're gonna have to get you to first of all,
- 47:31Speaker 1: if you're dealing with anybody alumni wise, we're asking that
- 47:35Speaker 1: you don't go to any meetings right now. We're also
- 47:37Speaker 1: asking that you don't wear any five beta Sigma peral
- 47:41Speaker 1: for noll you PA. At this point, we want to
- 47:43Speaker 1: make sure and get clarity that you are definitely a brother. Amn, man,
- 47:47Speaker 1: I am definitely a brother. Do you know what I
- 47:49Speaker 1: had to go through to get where I am today?
- 47:52Speaker 1: To be a signal all the dude. Y'all, y'all took
- 47:55Speaker 1: y'all dudes, what happened to that? If you're taking my dudes,
- 47:58Speaker 1: you should be able to tell me. Yo, Man, we
- 48:00Speaker 1: got this going on, certain things that going on with
- 48:03Speaker 1: your line. We need to we need to check you.
- 48:05Speaker 1: You took our money, That's the thing. I'm seeing checks
- 48:07Speaker 1: that have gone through for other people that are on
- 48:09Speaker 1: that line. I don't play, man, and to this day,
- 48:12Speaker 1: I'm like a lifetime member, So what the hell are
- 48:14Speaker 1: you talking about? I have no records indicating that your lifetime. Remember,
- 48:17Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying, sir. We got that dog. Somebody
- 48:21Speaker 1: needs to tell me something today. We're gonna try to
- 48:23Speaker 1: get to the end of this by the end of
- 48:25Speaker 1: the week. It's gonna take no, no, no, but no,
- 48:27Speaker 1: but no, you're not understanding what I'm saying, man, because
- 48:29Speaker 1: I'm a signal to the heart. Dude. You know what
- 48:31Speaker 1: I'm talking about, y'all playing with my heart right now? Man,
- 48:34Speaker 1: Ain't nobody's going to do that and get away with
- 48:36Speaker 1: I don't know what's going on. You know, here's what
- 48:38Speaker 1: we can do. We can bring you back in and
- 48:40Speaker 1: do another pledging process, pledge. Do you understand what you
- 48:44Speaker 1: just said to me? No, man, that ain't happen. Dog,
- 48:46Speaker 1: I'm been through this already. Man, I'm not pledging. I'm
- 48:50Speaker 1: not signing my name on nothing else because I have pledged.
- 48:53Speaker 1: I'm not doing it. I need to get somebody on
- 48:56Speaker 1: the phone that can answer my question. I want to
- 48:58Speaker 1: know what's going on, okay right now? And I understand
- 49:01Speaker 1: you know the disbelief of what's going on. I really do.
- 49:03Speaker 1: You obviously live them so you are, brother, brother, We're
- 49:07Speaker 1: gonna try to what year did you grow across? Did
- 49:09Speaker 1: you walk the fan? Let mean, tell me what's going on? Brother?
- 49:12Speaker 1: I'm fall eighty nine, brother. And now what we're gonna
- 49:15Speaker 1: have to do right now is, first of all, no
- 49:18Speaker 1: pair of phernilia. No, you're trying to see me that
- 49:22Speaker 1: I can't well what's nearest and dearest to my heart,
- 49:24Speaker 1: next to my wife and my child. You're telling me
- 49:26Speaker 1: that I can't grow around and proclaim what I am.
- 49:29Speaker 1: That's like telling me I can't be black? What the
- 49:31Speaker 1: hell is you're saying? And another thing we're going to
- 49:33Speaker 1: get you to do. Understand, you have a brand, a
- 49:35Speaker 1: Sigma brand that's going to have to come off until
- 49:39Speaker 1: we until we get this taken care of. What then
- 49:42Speaker 1: you talk about them medical procedure? What are you saying
- 49:46Speaker 1: so we cannot allow you to wear a brand representing
- 49:49Speaker 1: five Beta Sigma when right now you are not only
- 49:51Speaker 1: you can't a lot that that brand to me? Was
- 49:54Speaker 1: allowed to put the brand on me. Now I can't
- 49:56Speaker 1: be allowed to wear something that I've been wearing for
- 49:59Speaker 1: almost fifteen and gears. Are you crazy? Come on, man,
- 50:02Speaker 1: that's some crazy. So we gotta get you to take
- 50:05Speaker 1: your brand of me until all of this well brand
- 50:08Speaker 1: what the hell? A y'ut man? This is some look here, brother,
- 50:11Speaker 1: but not what Bernard? Is that? What your name is?
- 50:14Speaker 1: You need to get somebody on this a minute. That's
- 50:17Speaker 1: all right, I know the president still how about that?
- 50:21Speaker 1: I will just call in and I'll figured out my bill.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Right now, we need you to take the brand off
- 50:28Speaker 1: off you come take the brand off of me. And
- 50:31Speaker 1: you wanted that bad, come get it. That's what you do.
- 50:34Speaker 1: You are not a member of five Beta Sick. Don't
- 50:37Speaker 1: give up you talking about dog. I am a member.
- 50:41Speaker 1: If you want something over here, I land your boy.
- 50:43Speaker 1: That's what you do. You bad? Come do it. So
- 50:46Speaker 1: I'm telling you for the final time, do not wear
- 50:48Speaker 1: any paraphern Now you keep don't want to hear that
- 50:51Speaker 1: talking about no final. Let me tell you what's final.
- 50:54Speaker 1: I am a five beta sigma to the hard bodoom.
- 51:00Speaker 1: All I'm telling you is no more hurt and cover
- 51:03Speaker 1: that brand up until we're here. Man, I'm gonna wear everything.
- 51:06Speaker 1: I got a hat, I'm ahead of a matter of fact,
- 51:08Speaker 1: I'm gona wearing just to get on your lys. You're
- 51:12Speaker 1: gonna pray covering up until we figured out. If you
- 51:15Speaker 1: are covering up, you come get it and tell it.
- 51:18Speaker 1: You better get away from me. Well I'm talking about
- 51:21Speaker 1: don't none of it. Put that brand up, and don't
- 51:24Speaker 1: you wear no church no more. Me tell you something
- 51:26Speaker 1: I ain't covering. Come get it if you want it.
- 51:29Speaker 1: I got a one man, I had many. This is
- 51:32Speaker 1: brute fire. You don't want none. You don't want none, y'all.
- 51:34Speaker 1: This is the man. I don't know what one more
- 51:38Speaker 1: thing I need to say to you. Are you going
- 51:39Speaker 1: to say what you got to say? You ain't getting this.
- 51:42Speaker 1: This is nephew Timmy from the Steve Harby Morning Show.

- 51:52Speaker 1: had me ready to kill my man. Y'all, boy, let

- 52:16Speaker 1: I got one years ago. That would be my mom.

- 53:40Speaker 1: hold on tight. We got it for you here. It
- 53:42Speaker 1: is Strawberry Letter. Thank Enophe. Subject hump Day and Wednesday
- 53:48Speaker 1: are two different days. I love that title, do Stephen Shirley.
- 53:54Speaker 1: I'm a forty seven year old married woman and I've
- 53:57Speaker 1: been married for twenty five years. Met when we were
- 54:00Speaker 1: very young, and we got married and had our four
- 54:02Speaker 1: children while we were still young. My husband was a
- 54:05Speaker 1: big nerd that was slightly overweight, had bad skin, and
- 54:10Speaker 1: he needed braces. I was shy and didn't have any friends,
- 54:14Speaker 1: so I was eager to have a boyfriend for the
- 54:16Speaker 1: first time. He made me feel like a princess and
- 54:19Speaker 1: I have never been with another man in my life,
- 54:23Speaker 1: but he has definitely been with other women. After we'd
- 54:27Speaker 1: been married for fifteen years, a woman called my house
- 54:29Speaker 1: and said she had been dating my husband for six
- 54:32Speaker 1: years and she wanted me to know because she knew
- 54:35Speaker 1: I was a good, god fearing woman. I started to
- 54:39Speaker 1: feel guilty because I had stopped having sex with my
- 54:42Speaker 1: husband after our last child, so I blamed myself for
- 54:45Speaker 1: the cheating. I got my act together and we talked
- 54:49Speaker 1: to our pastor to fix our marriage. I had no
- 54:52Speaker 1: reason to believe he was cheating anymore because he was
- 54:55Speaker 1: a model citizen after the affair. Well fast forward to
- 54:59Speaker 1: last November and I'm standing in the kitchen and my
- 55:03Speaker 1: husband got a text with a happy hump day message
- 55:06Speaker 1: with no name listed. I got the phone and texted back,
- 55:10Speaker 1: but it's Sunday. The reply was stop playing, I can't
- 55:13Speaker 1: wait to see you. I texted where and the reply
- 55:17Speaker 1: was the usual hump day spot. I took his phone
- 55:21Speaker 1: upstairs to him and asked him, what's the hump day spot?
- 55:25Speaker 1: He grabbed his phone for me and he examined the messages,
- 55:28Speaker 1: and then he said somebody must have texted him by mistake.
- 55:32Speaker 1: He changed his number and lead it all of his
- 55:34Speaker 1: social media. Now I hate Wednesdays because I think he
- 55:38Speaker 1: was using hump day as a special code. Is he
- 55:42Speaker 1: still a cheater? Yes? Yes, yes, yes, Okay, your nerd
- 55:48Speaker 1: of a husband is still cheating on you. And how
- 55:51Speaker 1: do I know that? How does everyone know that but
- 55:53Speaker 1: you the same? I mean, it's obvious. The evidence was
- 55:58Speaker 1: right there in the text. The woman clearly said I
- 56:01Speaker 1: can't wait to see you at the usual hump day spot.
- 56:05Speaker 1: I mean, what more do you need? That means they
- 56:08Speaker 1: have a special location where they have sex, or a
- 56:11Speaker 1: special time day that they have sex at an appointed time. Okay,
- 56:15Speaker 1: I know you're confused and don't want to believe it,
- 56:17Speaker 1: but please don't lie to yourself. Please don't do that.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Your husband is doing enough of that for the both
- 56:23Speaker 1: of you. Okay, this time, he has no one to
- 56:26Speaker 1: blame but himself, because you said you got yourself together.
- 56:30Speaker 1: You said that in the letter you got your act
- 56:31Speaker 1: together worked on your marriage. And you know, there's a
- 56:35Speaker 1: saying once a cheater, always a cheater, and I think
- 56:38Speaker 1: your husband fits that description because he was cheating on
- 56:40Speaker 1: you for six years during your twenty five year marriage.
- 56:43Speaker 1: You had a break when you stopped having sex with him.
- 56:47Speaker 1: You know, got counseling and everything, and you thought it
- 56:49Speaker 1: was all over. But nope. Once you guys went to counseling,
- 56:54Speaker 1: you know, you thought he would try harder to make
- 56:56Speaker 1: it work. He didn't. So now you have to decide
- 56:58Speaker 1: should you stay with this cheat? Should you leave? That's
- 57:01Speaker 1: on you, Steve Well, it seems to be a little
- 57:05Speaker 1: bit to unpack in this letter because I feel for her,
- 57:10Speaker 1: but then I feel for him, But then I'm gonna
- 57:14Speaker 1: really feel for nither one of them. I'm sort of
- 57:17Speaker 1: it's a lot in this tomorrow. Yeah, I'm a little
- 57:19Speaker 1: bit torn. I'm gonna try to walk you through the
- 57:22Speaker 1: process that I'm having in this letter because I see,
- 57:25Speaker 1: of course other stuff and I'll be pointing it out.
- 57:28Speaker 1: Hump Day and Wednesday are two different days. Did Stephen
- 57:32Speaker 1: sherl I'm forty seven year old married woman. I've been
- 57:34Speaker 1: married twenty five years. They was young. When they got married,
- 57:38Speaker 1: they had four children while they was young. My husband
- 57:41Speaker 1: was a big nerd. Listen to this. Now, that was
- 57:45Speaker 1: slightly overweight and had a bad skin and it needed braceist.
- 57:52Speaker 1: Now let's talk about diffic. The dude that you made
- 57:58Speaker 1: was fat, had bad ass skin, and ragged ass teeth. Really,
- 58:07Speaker 1: that's whole package. Everything bound him was jacked up and
- 58:15Speaker 1: then shot. I was shy and didn't have any friends,
- 58:18Speaker 1: so I was eager to have a boyfriend for the
- 58:20Speaker 1: first time. So this was your pick. You picked a
- 58:23Speaker 1: fat nerd with the bad skin and the ragged ass mouth.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, that ain't no reason to quit being shy.
- 58:33Speaker 1: I'd have just stayed shine with hand no friends, because
- 58:36Speaker 1: what I'm not gonna do is introduce him as it.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Excuse me, everybody, I want to introduce you to somebody.
- 58:44Speaker 1: He's a nerd, he's overweight, he got a lot of
- 58:47Speaker 1: acne on his face. Uh, that ain't trash, but that's
- 58:50Speaker 1: his skin. And when he opened his mouth, you're gonna
- 58:54Speaker 1: see a lot of different angles coming at you. So
- 58:57Speaker 1: now this is my boyfriend? What what the reaction that
- 59:03Speaker 1: they must have had? See? I would just stayed singing
- 59:05Speaker 1: and shot, all right, let's move on. But he made
- 59:08Speaker 1: you feel like a princess. But he had and how
- 59:13Speaker 1: he gonna mistreat somebody with his fatter glass, This fatter
- 59:17Speaker 1: glass man with this ragged ass mouth, then got a
- 59:20Speaker 1: girlfriend to try to stop mistreating up like he like
- 59:23Speaker 1: he got choices, like the options is just wide over,
- 59:26Speaker 1: like he'd agreething he want to do. He lucky she
- 59:30Speaker 1: even talking to his ass. All right, all those wonderful
- 59:35Speaker 1: thoughts he left her. Two of your spots coming up
- 59:38Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hours you're listening show.
- 59:43Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 59:46Speaker 1: The subject hump day and Wednesdays are two different days.
- 59:52Speaker 1: Now he is Wan was shy and didn't have friends,
- 59:56Speaker 1: and so a man came along, and this is who
- 59:59Speaker 1: she picked, her husband. They've been married twenty five years.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: They got four kids. Her husband big nerd. And the
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: word is big nerd because she was telling us right
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: after that he was slightly overweight. So that's what made
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: him a big nerd. He was big nerd on both sides.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: He was very nerdy and large. Somehow he didn't look
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: at himself and just stop washing his face or using
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: cleanse or whatever. I don't know what it is. But
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: he had bad skin, and she didn't just say it
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: was on the face, just bad ski and everywhere. That's
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: because he was so big. He had stretched it and
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: stretched it so bad that his ski and had to
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: react some kind of way. I'm not taking that out
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: the show. I don't care what y'all say. Don't start
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: in this me. In twenty twenty two about fat shan it,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: the lady wrote in No, the lady wrote in the letter,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: he is a big nerd and slightly overweight. You know
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: that's being nice about it. Slight. You know, if your
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: ass is fat, don't matter if he's way overweight. What
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: are we talking about? Three hundred or three fifty? What is?
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Where is? Okay? I'm trying to go on, but you
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: tried to. I saw Carlin in her zoom, lean in
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: like she was gonna say something. I'm putting a stop
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: to this head. In twenty trump, don't don't write me
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: if you don't want the truth. And then she said
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: up and then he needed braces. Now hold up and
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: hedn't need a brace. Now you got teeth sitting up
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: in your head laying down, and you overweight and got
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: bad skin. I don't like when I'm talking to people
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: and one of their teeth is laying down. I don't
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: care for that, because now I got to see what
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: your way? Is he trying to chew? Is he talking?
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: What is he doing? Okay? Now I was shy. I
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: didn't have any friends, so I was eager to have
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: a boyfriend for the first time. Then she said, he
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: made me feel like a princess. I would imagine so
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: I can't imagine him being mistreating you in any kind
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: of way. Why would he hitting Nobody else wants it?
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: And then she said, and after that, I've never been
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: with another man in my life. For hell, after you
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: had made this choice, why would you try this again?
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: I've never been with another man in my life. If
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: this was my first woman, I wouldn't have picked another
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: one either. I understand a lot of people don't know
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: how to recover from mistakes. This was your first choice,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: and you decided I'm not going to try this. No,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: damn mode, some of our decisions can be that shock.
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: We've been married for fifteen years. And then a woman
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: called my house and said she'd been dating my husband
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: for six years, and she wanted me to know because
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: she knew I was a good, god fearing woman. She
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: told you that's why she called. She'd been sleeping with
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: your man for six years and said, I'm calling you
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: to tell you this because you're a good god fearing woman.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Well who is she? Then? She didn't tell you who
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: she was? This you. She called you to break y'all up.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: That's what this phone call was about. I started to
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: feel so guilty because I stopped having sex with my
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: husband after our last child, So I blame myself for
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: the cheat. Well, you didn't stop having sex with your
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: husband after the last child, because I think he finally
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: hit you because you didn't say that in these years
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: to head lost the weight, that he had stopped becoming.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: To Mary, you never even said he got bracest or
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: fixed his skin. I think one day after this last child,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: you looked at him and said, I'm just not doing this.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: I've just woke my ass up today and I'm not
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: doing him. No, damn, mother, ain't got nothing to do
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: with this last child or nothing. No, No, this was
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: just the last time, just the last time. I'm pulling
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: myself up, summoning the courage to do this with his fat,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: ragging and mouth ass sitting up in here with all
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: ease bumps and stuff on his skin. I'm not going
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: to do this no more, and then talking to me
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: as a nerd, all this comic con conversation. We have
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: old baby, you just Nutratron and me. What coma con
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: He don't even know how to talk dirty and bad proton,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: you know, Nutri Gena. You know I had no reason
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: to believe that he was. So we got together and
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: we talked to our pastor to fix our marriage. Okay,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: so you didn't have no reason believe he was cheating anymore.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: He became a model citizen after the fair. Fast forward
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: last November, I'm standing in the kitchen. My husband got
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: a text with Humpy with a happy Hofday message and
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: no one listed. I got the phone and text back,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: but it's Sunday. The reply was stopped playing I can't
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: wait to see you. I text Square and the reply
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: was the usual hump day spot. I took his phone upstairs,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: ask him what's the hump day spot? He grabbed my phone,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: examined the message and said somebody must have texted him
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: by mistake. My man boy. The only good thing he's
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: done in this damn for that, he changed his number,
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: deleted all his social media. Na I hate Wednesdays because
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: I think he's using hump Day as a special code.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Is he still a Cheatah? First of all, lady, hump
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Day ain't no damn cold. If a woman text your
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: husband and say, you know it's hump Day, you really
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: think she told Marty Wensday. It doesn't sound get finished
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: with this letter. That ain't no damn special code. Well,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: you know, I was just you know, we're going over
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: this letter, this poone woman forty seventh Wait wait, wait,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: so hold up, hold that thought. We'll come back from
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: kirk three of hump Day and Wednesday or two different
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: days right after this. You're listening show, all right, Steve.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: You know sometimes occasionally you have so much to say,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: we can't get it all in in two parts. So
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: part three of today's Strawberry letter hump Day and Wednesday
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: are different day. What? Well, you know, the lady that
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: was had messed around and made the choice because she
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: was off, you know, shy, lonely person that had no friends,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: were eager to have a boyfriend and pick this dude, right,
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: here over twenty five years ago. But he was a
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: big nerd, he was overweight, he had bracious and bad skiing.
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: You know, just damn any good qualities. Why are we
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: even talking into the first place. So she sat, you know, yeah,
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: he's smart at hell, and he made her feel like
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: a princess, which like poor, I mean, how could he not?
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: And then you know, then she said, after that, I've
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: never been with another man in my life. I know,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: after that shocking has experience because you obviously know your
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: your picker is way off. She said, I'm not been
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: to pick another one because obviously I don't know how
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: to pick. Well, he went on it, he started cheating
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: on it and had an affair because she stopped having
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: sex with him after the fourth child. She never said
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: why she stopped having sex with him, but I knew,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: and she just said, there's enough for this here. I've
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: looked at this his fat, nerdy ass long enough with
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: this ragged ass mouthflaw is bad ass skins, and we're
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: just not doing this no more. I struggled for sool kid,
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: I'd have later been had four kids. We're messing around
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: do this. I'm not having sex with you, no damn
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: more so for six years she didn't have sex with
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: his ass and was fine with it. Well, he went
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: and got him another girl on the side. Then they
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: went to counseling and got the marriage fixing. Then she's
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: sitting up one day and he left his phone downstairs
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: because he's stupid and you know, cheating, and when you cheating,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: you can't leave your phone. His stupid and left his
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: phone downstairs on the Sunday and text came in said
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: happy hump Day, and she replied only said, but it's Sunday.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: The reply will stop playing. I can't wait to see you.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: And then I text swar and the reply was the
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: usual hump day spot. She took his phone upstairs. He
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: denied it changed everything all that and then all this
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: is to social media. Then she said, was he using
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: hump day as a special code? Day? Is not a
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: special cold? That's just you stupid and he's stupid. Got
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: to hear somebody, if you got a hump day, that's
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: not a damn cold. That's the day we hump That's
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: what hump day mean. If you want to have all,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: you know, you gotta have something like happy Easter, you know,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: like you know he'll come Peter Cotton tell you know,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: hopping down the bunnet trail from hold the hole, stuff
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: like that. You got to have stuff like that. You
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: got to say something like this. You know you ready
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: for the last supper. You know these is cold words,
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: just stuff for the last supper. You know you gotta
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: you gotta, you got a little stuff you can go.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Can't wait to Halloween. You know she probably make his
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: ass wear a mask too, because he got that bad
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: skin in the ragged ass. So she probably say happy
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Halloween because you know she even even the lady having
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: the fan making wear a mad We'll be back with
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: more what you should have did after that fourth baby,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: you're listening Morning show? All right, junior, it it's time
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: for sports talk. What you got all? I want to say?
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Who let the dogs out? Big dog? About them dogs?
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: The dogs? Let the dog out them? Damn dog? Here
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: we go. What do it mean to the state of Georgia?
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: I don't know what it means to the state of Georgia,
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: but that g yes the exact logo for my high
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: school in Clevellle Glenville to bloods of which is the
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: only thing I have a degree. What Yeah, Georgia logo
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: to j Yeah, it's really about Hey man, I had
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: my Glenville High School shot on one time, and you
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: know how firemen standing outside and they had an empty
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: booth and you drop money into the dope, donate to
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: the fire department. Right, I had my Glenville High School
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: shirt on in Atlanta. I pulled up, I rolled the
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: window down. I'm getting to do some money in the booth.
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: He said, Oh go dog. I said, oh, what what
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: you know about that? Because now I ain't looking at
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: the shirt, I'm thinking he thinking talking about the queues.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: I'm trying to think out what wi. I said, Hey man,
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: what you know about that? I know a lot about it.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: That's where I went and scared me because I'm went
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: for me. You went to queue, you went to quete.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: You're a cute in the booth for a year. Was
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: because this has to be relatively new, because I'm being show.
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: If you'd have found out, we would have anyway anyway.
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Big ups to the bulldogs, Georgia bok Man. That's japions man.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Do you know what right now? I believe right now
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: that was about one hundred and eighty five fights last
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: night in Alabama after they lost their game. Yeah, boy,
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: it was some fights broke out. Yeah. I just they
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: say roll tied, and you say roll your ass home.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's a fight, right. I was happy for Georgia, man,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: because I mean they they played a heck of a
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: football game, them boys. Because when they lost the SEC
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: championship to Alabama, I think that Georgia played one of
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: the worst games they had played. Yeah, and so you know,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: you know, the oxmakers had Georgia favorite last night by three.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: And boy, let me tell you something. Everybody bit that one.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: Old Vegas made all kinds of money because they went.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: You don't think Alabama gonna win, man, Vegas made so
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: much money. But whenever Vegas lays the odds down, man,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: you got to pay close attention because them boys ain't
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: They're not trying to let you win. No, you know, nah, man,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: they they did that for a reason. They knew something.
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: First of all, Georgia played a much better game than
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: they played before. And then Alabama had two injuries to
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: their wide receiver. One dude didn't play another and got hurt.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: My lord, bad for that kid. But but them dudes, man,
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: them dude, them Georgia boys. They was after the quarterback
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: this time, man, this game, they were bringing him down.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: Tommy was so defensive. Man, you go in a halftime
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: this this is this is championship and it's nine to six. Yeah,
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: well that's the first time ever touchdown hadn't been scored
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: in a national championship game. Never nine to six. And
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: I was cool with it because I was hoping. But
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: but they did good. And Nick Saban, who is the
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: greatest college coach of all times, no time. You got
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: to give it to him. Yeah. Yeah, his speech was
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: a good speech to a degree. I'm just still where
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: he was coming from, Like he felt bad for his
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: team and he wanted to congratulate from when THEFC championship,
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: but he just said, we just didn't finish in the
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: fourth quarter like we supposed to it. I felt bad
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: for them. Well, really, Georgia whipped your ass, That's what
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: it was. You know. It's two different numbers in your hands,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: and two different came up. Bulldogs coach, Bulldogs coach. Yeah,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: he came up. Smarted him to just come on and
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: admit that you really got warm finish the post of
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: thirty three eighteen. Two different numbers they rolled the time back.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: That's what they did. They rolled it back. Go Bulldogs.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Will have more of the city. Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: up at twenty minutes right after this, you're listening to
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right. So there's a
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: new comedy on NBC. It proves that life is better
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: with your crew. It's called The Grand Crew. Have you
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: guys seen it? Grand Crew? It's yeah, huh huh, I
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: like it too. Yeah. It's centered on a group of uh,
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: these young professionals that are going through the ups and
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: downs like we all have gone through ups and downs
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: of life and love. In Los Angeles. They meet up
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: often at their favorite bar. Um, there's a hopeless romantic.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: I love him, especially with all these different hairstyles. One
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: day day every day he got a press a p
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: There's a go getter on the show, the low key genius.
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: There's a workaholic. Um. Oh, the married couple. I love
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: them too, the married couple and a divorced friend. So
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: it's just like real life. I mean, you know, everybody
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: knows someone like these people. It's relatable, it's funny, it's light,
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: and the friends really do love being around each other.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: That's the thing. That I love the most about it.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: You know, you could tell that they're really friends. Nothing

- 1:16:16Speaker 1: you Because when we was little, we didn't have money
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: for bubble bath all the time, so we used to
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: put detergent in the bath tub, whisk it around. Yeah,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: and uh I didn't you know, whisk it around, swish
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: it up good enough? Yeah? Yeah, and that oxy doll
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: had blue bleaching crystals in it. Well, I was a
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: little boy. I didn't know, and I didn't risk off
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: good and walking down the hall the next day and
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: my ass thought burning. I didn't know what the hell
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: was going on. And as I was walking and rubbing

- 1:18:33Speaker 1: walk away too much. Oh no, I recover from that.
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: It's no way. And the possibility that you could mix
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: man up with somebody else, that's an issue for me.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Now I got the wrong zip lock. Come on, man,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: but how do you think you're leaving this room with
