- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join joining me. You gotta use that turning
- 1:22Speaker 1: you are. You gotta turn to turn them out, turn
- 1:43Speaker 1: you love, got to turn them out to turn turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water go. Come come on your thad
- 2:01Speaker 1: h I sure will a good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:05Speaker 1: to the voice, Come on dig me na one and
- 2:09Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey got a radio show, Yeah, I got one.
- 2:13Speaker 1: And I got a message for you today too. Something
- 2:16Speaker 1: I was thinking about that might help you along the way.
- 2:20Speaker 1: The thing I appreciate about so many people that I
- 2:23Speaker 1: learned from Bishop Jake's, Kenneth Olmer, Donnie McClerkin, Kirk Franklin,
- 2:29Speaker 1: Joel Oldstein, I can't tell you, and many more than that.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I mean, you know I'm naming you know, famous people
- 2:38Speaker 1: because I know you know these names. But my father,
- 2:42Speaker 1: who you never met, was so great in my development
- 2:47Speaker 1: as a man. But my mother thought her mercy. My mother,
- 2:51Speaker 1: she taught me about faith. She gave me the things
- 2:55Speaker 1: I needed to know about what I speak about every day.
- 2:59Speaker 1: That basis was given into me by her. So it's
- 3:01Speaker 1: so many great people. But here's the thing that I've
- 3:04Speaker 1: had to learn, and that is that if God got
- 3:08Speaker 1: you through it, it's done. Move on. See, I can't
- 3:13Speaker 1: tell you how many people don't really pay attention to
- 3:16Speaker 1: that close enough. If God got you through it, it's done.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Move on. How many times have we as people allowed
- 3:28Speaker 1: God to get us through something, get us beyond something,
- 3:32Speaker 1: get us over something, get us through something, and then
- 3:36Speaker 1: even after it's completion, we sit there and we dwell
- 3:41Speaker 1: on it, and we dwell on it to the point
- 3:43Speaker 1: where it becomes an anchor around our neck and we
- 3:46Speaker 1: can't move on. We can't move on because we just
- 3:52Speaker 1: won't let it go. It's done. If God got you
- 3:57Speaker 1: through it, it's done. Move on. Stop harboring on the pass.
- 4:03Speaker 1: Stop hanging on to every time you fail, Stop hanging
- 4:07Speaker 1: on to every time you slipped up and messed up.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Stop hanging on to every time you didn't get it right.
- 4:13Speaker 1: So what everybody makes mistakes, everybody messes up, everybody don't
- 4:20Speaker 1: get it right. Everybody struggling with something you ain't thought
- 4:25Speaker 1: only one but my God. Man, if God got you
- 4:30Speaker 1: through it, it's done. Move on you hanging on to it,
- 4:35Speaker 1: for that's why he got it, got you through it,
- 4:38Speaker 1: so you can move on from it. See a lot
- 4:41Speaker 1: of things that happened to us that we think are
- 4:44Speaker 1: negative or bad experience. These are lessons in what not
- 4:49Speaker 1: to do. This is a way to have a now
- 4:52Speaker 1: or bearing on. Look out for it the next time.
- 4:56Speaker 1: You got me once, you can't get me again. I'm
- 4:59Speaker 1: telling you, man, if God got you through it, it's done.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Move on. You have got to move on. I use
- 5:08Speaker 1: this analogy all the time. I'm gonna add a little
- 5:10Speaker 1: bit to it. Bishop Jake's told me you cannot drive
- 5:16Speaker 1: your car looking in the rearview mirror. See you know
- 5:22Speaker 1: what your rearview mirror is actually fall in your car.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Your rearview mirror is designed. After I pass a car
- 5:31Speaker 1: and I want to merge into that lane, or I
- 5:35Speaker 1: want to make another move, I look up in the
- 5:38Speaker 1: rearview mirror, and all I use it for it shows
- 5:42Speaker 1: me that I've gotten past it. I've gotten past the
- 5:46Speaker 1: vehicle I was passing, and I got enough room. Now
- 5:49Speaker 1: clear to make my next move. That's what I use
- 5:53Speaker 1: my rearview mirror for. I use my rearview mirror to
- 5:57Speaker 1: just glance up every now and then to see what's
- 5:59Speaker 1: coming up on me. That's all I use it for.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Listen to me real close. Now. Your rearview mirror on
- 6:07Speaker 1: your car is after you're passing something, or you're passing
- 6:12Speaker 1: by something, you can look up in the rearview mirror
- 6:15Speaker 1: and it lets you know you're pasted it, you're beyond it.
- 6:19Speaker 1: It's clear now it's in the past. You no longer
- 6:23Speaker 1: have to deal with it as the car that was
- 6:26Speaker 1: in front of you blocking your way. You have passed it.
- 6:30Speaker 1: You look up in the mirror, you've cleared it. Now
- 6:34Speaker 1: if you want to switch lanes, you could slide on over.
- 6:38Speaker 1: You got room. But that rearview mirror also lets you
- 6:41Speaker 1: see if anything is coming up on you, and you
- 6:44Speaker 1: just need to glance, because if you're moving forward, ain't
- 6:48Speaker 1: a whole lot can come up on you. You're just
- 6:50Speaker 1: glancing every now and then, and it reminds you that
- 6:53Speaker 1: you got through something and you got beyond something. That's
- 6:56Speaker 1: what the rearview mirror for. Now. Let's talk about that. Windshield.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Why you think that windshields so big on your car?
- 7:06Speaker 1: That's the biggest window on your car. You know why
- 7:10Speaker 1: the windshields so big because it's where you're going. Because
- 7:16Speaker 1: even the automobile makers want you to have a wide
- 7:19Speaker 1: view of where you're going so you can see what's
- 7:23Speaker 1: up ahead. They put lights on the card night so
- 7:26Speaker 1: you can have night vision and see what's up ahead.
- 7:29Speaker 1: But you can, oh, man, see not? Why is that look?
- 7:34Speaker 1: Think about that now for I move forward with this one.
- 7:37Speaker 1: Think about that windshield, man, why is that windshield so
- 7:40Speaker 1: big so you can see where you're going? It's way
- 7:44Speaker 1: more important where you're going than where you're being, don't
- 7:48Speaker 1: you see that? That's why the rear view mirrors so small,
- 7:52Speaker 1: because it is nowhere in there as important as it
- 7:54Speaker 1: is as to where you're going. Why you being just
- 7:58Speaker 1: allows you to take a glance. You can make sure
- 8:00Speaker 1: you clear it so you can see if it's room
- 8:03Speaker 1: enough for you to make your next move, so you
- 8:05Speaker 1: can know that you've gone through it and go head
- 8:07Speaker 1: on about your business. But that windshield, that windshield is
- 8:11Speaker 1: for vision a man without a dream of visions your parish,
- 8:15Speaker 1: that windshield is for somebody going somewhere. That windshielding for
- 8:19Speaker 1: somebody else that trying to make another move. I'm gonna
- 8:22Speaker 1: go right, I'm on left. I'm gonna get off on
- 8:24Speaker 1: this exit. I'm gonna take this DTWOL. I'm gonna handle
- 8:26Speaker 1: it signed as a new route. There's only so many
- 8:30Speaker 1: miles left to go. That's what the windshield got. Let
- 8:33Speaker 1: me tell you something, man, when you see a mile sign,
- 8:35Speaker 1: you're driving on the freeway, you're on the interstate, and
- 8:37Speaker 1: you let's say you're driving to a particular city and
- 8:40Speaker 1: you see a sign that says that city is thirty
- 8:43Speaker 1: eight one hundred and thirty eight miles away. That lets
- 8:47Speaker 1: you know where you're going, and you're on the right path. Now,
- 8:50Speaker 1: if you keep looking in the rear view mirror, you'll
- 8:53Speaker 1: never know how close you are. You'll never know as
- 9:00Speaker 1: you're driving your car, look in the review mirror. You
- 9:01Speaker 1: all on the shoulder, you hit them, rocks up under
- 9:04Speaker 1: your car. You'd scared yourself to death because you know why,
- 9:07Speaker 1: because you keep looking in the rearview mirror. Get out
- 9:11Speaker 1: the rearview mirror. If God got you through, it is done,
- 9:15Speaker 1: move on. So what he don't love? You know? More
- 9:18Speaker 1: and man, let's move on. If God got you through,
- 9:22Speaker 1: it's done. Move on. God got something for you. If
- 9:26Speaker 1: you get out your rearview mirror and get up in
- 9:29Speaker 1: that windshield. God's got something for your upp ahead. But
- 9:32Speaker 1: you can't see what's up ahead because you in that
- 9:35Speaker 1: rearview mirror. If God got you through, it is done.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Let's move on. Come on, y'all, don't let the pass
- 9:42Speaker 1: beat you up. That's the ingredients in the cake. You
- 9:45Speaker 1: haven't made that already. That's done. Let's go God, look
- 9:48Speaker 1: in the windshield. See what God mobil got something new
- 9:51Speaker 1: for you. If you get out the rearview mirror and look,
- 9:54Speaker 1: open up your eyes and see. All right, let's go today.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening, ladies and gentlemen. This is it. In the
- 10:05Speaker 1: words of nephew Timmy, he's fried to y'all. Yeah, it's
- 10:10Speaker 1: a new day. The other one is gone, and today's

- 10:18Speaker 1: and had a dude that was up there singing, but
- 10:21Speaker 1: he was writing a song that he wrote and you'd
- 10:24Speaker 1: be sitting there just struggling with it. But he really
- 10:26Speaker 1: ain't a good singer. He allowed singing. He's singing at
- 10:29Speaker 1: the holiday in express over that by coffee machine. It's
- 10:34Speaker 1: very rough today Friday. Yeah, come on, and all the

- 12:13Speaker 1: I make the best coffee here. In the city. So
- 12:16Speaker 1: we'll see y'all tomorrow night. I'll be here the holiday
- 12:18Speaker 1: and express right here in front of coffee and ship.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Talk to you morn to Sheary, Hey, good morning, Happy Friday,
- 12:30Speaker 1: collar for Rell. Never mad on a Friday. I'm gonna
- 12:35Speaker 1: have everybody Friday here, right, Junior. You know I come
- 12:41Speaker 1: up here in front a few timmis a few time
- 12:46Speaker 1: on a Friday. Man, singing from your gut though, lady, yeah,
- 12:53Speaker 1: courage day up through your chest so much. But it
- 12:58Speaker 1: is Friday though, yesterday, from that day, that's a great day.
- 13:03Speaker 1: What is this about Friday that we all love? Feel good?
- 13:14Speaker 1: Get mass up in here, man, Well let's get started today.
- 13:19Speaker 1: But we got going on shore, all right. Well here
- 13:21Speaker 1: we go, coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:24Speaker 1: asked the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey, will be
- 13:29Speaker 1: in the building. Ride good day after Thursday. Yeah, the
- 13:39Speaker 1: day be sad as the cello. Right after this you're
- 13:44Speaker 1: listening to the string show. All right, guys, time now
- 13:48Speaker 1: for ask the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in
- 13:52Speaker 1: the building. Uh, Steve, this one is from Leela in
- 13:56Speaker 1: the d R. Lela writes I'm a forty year old singer,
- 14:00Speaker 1: a woman, and I'm dating a forty two year old
- 14:02Speaker 1: man that I've met online. We both made it clear
- 14:05Speaker 1: that we were looking for a relationship that would lead
- 14:08Speaker 1: to marriage. He is everything I've prayed for, and we
- 14:12Speaker 1: spend every night together, and we traveled together. We've even
- 14:16Speaker 1: exchanged I love you, So I was a happy camper
- 14:20Speaker 1: last week when we were on vacation. He told me
- 14:22Speaker 1: that he's not ready for a relationship. Then he said
- 14:25Speaker 1: he's lucky to have me and he loves me. I'm
- 14:28Speaker 1: so confused by the mixed signals. We've been dating for
- 14:31Speaker 1: eight months. Should I give him one more time or
- 14:34Speaker 1: should I give him more time? Well, he just told
- 14:38Speaker 1: you he's not ready for a relationship. So first thing
- 14:41Speaker 1: you need to know is what does that mean? Now?
- 14:44Speaker 1: In English, it means he don't want to be committed
- 14:48Speaker 1: to you, and he don't want you telling nobody he
- 14:53Speaker 1: belonged to you. That's what it sounds like it means
- 14:57Speaker 1: in regular English. Now, you and Dion I've been there before,
- 15:01Speaker 1: and y'all do speak very fluid English, so that's what
- 15:05Speaker 1: it sounds like to me. Now, this could be a
- 15:14Speaker 1: little tricky, But the mixed signals are just exactly that.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I would probe and see exactly what he means by that.
- 15:25Speaker 1: But I think, you know, yeah, probe meaning asked more questions.
- 15:29Speaker 1: That would mean she'd have to give him a little
- 15:31Speaker 1: more time. Then huh, well, you got to give an explanation.
- 15:33Speaker 1: But I think he said what he said, yeah, And
- 15:37Speaker 1: I think I said, all right, all right, all right, Leela,
- 15:41Speaker 1: we're going. We're moving on now to Janet and Oxford, Mississippi,
- 15:45Speaker 1: who says, I'm in my mid thirties, engaged to a
- 15:47Speaker 1: guy from a small town in Tennessee. When we got
- 15:50Speaker 1: our marriage license, all hell broke loose and I started
- 15:53Speaker 1: getting harassed by women from his past. Apparently he has
- 15:57Speaker 1: eight children by six different women, and four of a
- 16:01Speaker 1: woman warned me that his child support debt will be
- 16:04Speaker 1: mine if I marry him. He and his best friend
- 16:07Speaker 1: said it's not true, and his crazy ex wife is
- 16:10Speaker 1: behind all of this. I don't know what to believe.
- 16:13Speaker 1: He said, he has three children and I met them.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Should I run away while I can? Well? Eight kids,
- 16:23Speaker 1: eight went child support, that's gonna be rough. Now he'd
- 16:30Speaker 1: went and got his boy to co sign the three.
- 16:34Speaker 1: He does have three. Your deal is to find out
- 16:38Speaker 1: if he has eight. They have a thing now called research.
- 16:44Speaker 1: They have the Internet, they have Google, they got everything.
- 16:51Speaker 1: You can find out a lot of stuff. If I
- 16:53Speaker 1: were you, I will get busy just to double check
- 16:57Speaker 1: the story. Now. The reason you're righting us because you
- 17:01Speaker 1: got the feeling somebody's telling the truth about your man. Yeah,
- 17:06Speaker 1: because your question, your thing was should I run away? Now? Well,
- 17:12Speaker 1: you already know something's up, so you have an inkling,
- 17:15Speaker 1: so you gotta follow up on the inkling. Do not
- 17:17Speaker 1: ignore the inkling. Okay, that's right, great advice. Advice, Do
- 17:23Speaker 1: not ignore that is you got it four reasons? Call
- 17:26Speaker 1: it eight keys. Well you're your name, get out mother
- 17:31Speaker 1: at your ol support. I can't tell you that right now. Yeah,
- 17:34Speaker 1: all right. Moving on to Perry in South Carolina, who
- 17:37Speaker 1: says I was messing around with a married woman for
- 17:40Speaker 1: a few weeks and her husband found out and jumped
- 17:43Speaker 1: on me. I had to get stitches in my head
- 17:46Speaker 1: and he scratched my cornea, so I went to an
- 17:49Speaker 1: outpatient clinic. I didn't have health insurance at the time,
- 17:52Speaker 1: so she paid my medical bill without her husband's knowing it.
- 17:56Speaker 1: The clinic. Listen though, the clinic mailed the receipt to
- 18:00Speaker 1: her house, and her husband thought, God yeah. He texted
- 18:05Speaker 1: me saying he'll deal with me again whenever he sees me.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I'm too old to keep fighting. Should I call him
- 18:12Speaker 1: and talk this out? Well, it don't sound to me
- 18:16Speaker 1: like you've been fighting, you know, you you you know?
- 18:20Speaker 1: Should I call him and talk this out? You? Chest
- 18:23Speaker 1: said you was messing with a married woman, this man's wife.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Let me ask some parent, what You're gonna call him
- 18:29Speaker 1: and say? Well? What? What? What? What this conversation fitting
- 18:35Speaker 1: to be? Hey, man, look we need to stop this.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I'm too old for this. Well, you was messing with
- 18:41Speaker 1: his wife, he said, he gonna deal with you when
- 18:43Speaker 1: he sees you again. Now look, you got stitches and
- 18:47Speaker 1: you got the one corn. You ain't gonna be able
- 18:49Speaker 1: to see after this next ass, he's gonna bust up
- 18:54Speaker 1: all your visual capabilities. This man hot about his wife.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Oh yeah, she felt bad for you and paid your medical.
- 19:04Speaker 1: You ain't got medical. You ain't got no business messed with.
- 19:07Speaker 1: This man's wife said, dog, what do you want? Go away? Cry? Yeah,
- 19:16Speaker 1: you need to move. Yeah, he needs to go away.
- 19:20Speaker 1: You're absolutely right. Yeah, you need to move, man, But
- 19:22Speaker 1: you're gonna get this other whipping though sooner. He gonna
- 19:24Speaker 1: deal with you, spend some money on you. He gonna
- 19:27Speaker 1: whoop you again. Party and you got it coming. He
- 19:31Speaker 1: told you, he did even tell you he was gonna
- 19:34Speaker 1: get you the first time. Stitches in his head. All right,
- 19:41Speaker 1: he was, he texted her from her phone. Oh but
- 19:46Speaker 1: gets you what I see and say? She l at
- 19:48Speaker 1: the top. All right. Our last question comes from Jay. Uh. Yeah,
- 19:55Speaker 1: what you got for the cl You met a freak?
- 19:58Speaker 1: You met a freak in the club. You don't know
- 20:02Speaker 1: the freak's name. Y'all go to the hotel, You tie
- 20:04Speaker 1: the freak up, You go out to get some ice.
- 20:06Speaker 1: You forget what room the freak is in. What do
- 20:10Speaker 1: you do? What do you do? You do? You ain't
- 20:15Speaker 1: forgot where your car is? Hey, you don't know nobody's name.
- 20:24Speaker 1: You can't remember that, you can't remember the room. You
- 20:27Speaker 1: don't want to get ice. Now you can start knocking
- 20:31Speaker 1: on doors and do this here. You would freak if
- 20:39Speaker 1: you tied up. My name is freaking. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, man,
- 20:44Speaker 1: excuse me, I'm sorry. I got to My bad, My bad,
- 20:48Speaker 1: you stand there in your drawers with an ice bucket.
- 20:52Speaker 1: All right, coming up next, we gotta move on. Never
- 20:55Speaker 1: you tell he's here, we'll run that brank back right

- 33:41Speaker 1: It may take a little time, though, to see if
- 33:42Speaker 1: it's holding. It seems to right now, and President Biden's
- 33:45Speaker 1: sounding confident. I believe the Palestinians and israelis equally deserved
- 33:49Speaker 1: to live safely and securely, and to enjoy equal measures
- 33:53Speaker 1: of freedom, prosperity, and democracy. My administration will continue our
- 33:59Speaker 1: quiet relet diplomacy toward that end. Mister Biden says, the
- 34:02Speaker 1: agreements in partnership with the Palestinian authorities in a way
- 34:06Speaker 1: that does not benefit the moss militants. By the way,
- 34:08Speaker 1: there was some mounting pressure on the Jewish state to
- 34:11Speaker 1: make nice from the US. Sender Bernie Sanders, for one,

- 34:51Speaker 1: the state and local level, and parents afraid to leave
- 34:54Speaker 1: their homes even to get vaccinated for fear being attacked.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Small business owners target and gunned down, students worried about
- 35:03Speaker 1: two things, COVID nineteen and being bullied, and he said
- 35:07Speaker 1: that is a horrible situation. Has to change immediately. The
- 35:11Speaker 1: Kroeger food chain says its stopped its customers from donating
- 35:14Speaker 1: money to the Indiana affiliate affiliate of an extreme right
- 35:17Speaker 1: wing militia group whose members were allegedly involved in January's

- 35:26Speaker 1: Oatkeepers was one of the beneficiaries of Kroger's community rewards program.
- 35:30Speaker 1: They say they didn't know anyway. Black bachelorette Rachel Lindsay
- 35:35Speaker 1: spoke about her frustration with the way the producers of
- 35:37Speaker 1: the franchise handle her season on comedian z Ways, a show.
- 35:41Speaker 1: She says they put black men on the show who
- 35:43Speaker 1: didn't date black women because they thought that might be
- 35:45Speaker 1: interesting interesting, I guess to humiliate a black women. Anyway,
- 35:49Speaker 1: Rachel Lindsay end up with a white man, as she
- 35:51Speaker 1: got a lot of criticism. It turns out, though, guys,
- 35:53Speaker 1: that all three of the black bachelor's in the Bachelor
- 35:55Speaker 1: of Bachelorette Thing, Rachel, Tasia Adams, and Matt James or
- 35:59Speaker 1: either data married to or engaged to a white person.
- 36:02Speaker 1: And finally they broke ground on an eighty million dollars
- 36:04Speaker 1: museum dedicated to hip hop. Yesterday, le Bronx, New York.
- 36:07Speaker 1: A lot of folks who on hand, the ll Cool

- 36:39Speaker 1: with that being said, it has come to my attention
- 36:42Speaker 1: that at least about forty four percent of black people
- 36:46Speaker 1: have only been vaccinated because they have said that they
- 36:51Speaker 1: don't know what's in the vaccine. We're not getting vaccinated
- 36:55Speaker 1: because we don't know what's in it. So what I've
- 36:58Speaker 1: come up with is a list of things that you
- 37:00Speaker 1: put in your body that you have no idea what
- 37:04Speaker 1: the hell's in there? Okay, you have I have a list.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Let's start. Let's start with makeup. You put it on
- 37:14Speaker 1: your eyes, you put it on your lips, you rub
- 37:17Speaker 1: it all in your body. You have no idea what
- 37:20Speaker 1: the hell is in there? Okay. Let's talk about mustard.
- 37:24Speaker 1: You don't know what's in mustard. You have no idea.
- 37:27Speaker 1: You don't even read the side of the mustard, y'all.
- 37:30Speaker 1: And don't just tell me mustard seeds. It's more in
- 37:34Speaker 1: mustard beside mustard seed. Let's talk about peanut butter. Read
- 37:40Speaker 1: the side of peanut butter. Okay, you don't know what's
- 37:44Speaker 1: in hennessy. You don't know what's in there. You have
- 37:47Speaker 1: no idea what the hell's in gen You don't know
- 37:50Speaker 1: what's in there. You have no idea. Pork, Let's talk
- 37:54Speaker 1: about all the pork that you eat. What's in pork?
- 37:57Speaker 1: I tell you what's in pork. Whatever the damn pigg
- 38:00Speaker 1: age that was in the damn poort. Okay, you don't
- 38:05Speaker 1: know what the hell's in kool aid, but you'll eat it.
- 38:07Speaker 1: You'll eat chocolate. You don't have no idea what the
- 38:10Speaker 1: hell's in there. And last but not leash, you don't
- 38:14Speaker 1: know what's in preparation age. You have no idea what's
- 38:19Speaker 1: in there, but you grab a handful of it and
- 38:23Speaker 1: shove it up your have no a. Yeah, and don't
- 38:30Speaker 1: even get me started with you chiling eaters who have
- 38:35Speaker 1: not been vaccinated. Seriously, seriously, you eat chilings, but you
- 38:40Speaker 1: won't take a shot to save your behind. I'm not
- 38:44Speaker 1: saying take or don't take the shot. I'm just saying,
- 38:47Speaker 1: come up with a better excuse than I don't know
- 38:51Speaker 1: what's in it. Okay, that's all I'm saying. You'll put
- 38:55Speaker 1: preparation age up your butt when the hells get the humming,
- 38:59Speaker 1: Yes you will, and you won't read a damn thing.
- 39:05Speaker 1: I'm done coming up in thirty four minutes after the hour,
- 39:14Speaker 1: Ronald Eisley, the legend is eighty years old today. We'll

- 40:05Speaker 1: But when you talk about just a really really good person, man,
- 40:09Speaker 1: Ron is a really really great guy man. And to
- 40:12Speaker 1: be in a business it's long, man, you know, and
- 40:16Speaker 1: really to just be at it and have the love
- 40:19Speaker 1: and admiration that he's had over the years. Look, everybody
- 40:22Speaker 1: hits some thorns in their career, everybody hits some some
- 40:26Speaker 1: some low spots in their life. But man, to do
- 40:29Speaker 1: that's just been a producing hit after hit after hit.
- 40:34Speaker 1: Me personally, I don't know anybody that has done more
- 40:39Speaker 1: albums than Ron Eisley. Me personally. I mean, it may be,
- 40:44Speaker 1: but I don't know anybody personally. And I do believe
- 40:48Speaker 1: the number of platinum albums is in the mid twenties.
- 40:53Speaker 1: It was twenty one years ago. The number could be
- 40:57Speaker 1: twenty eight. Somebody looked that up. I mean platinum albums.
- 41:00Speaker 1: This dude, this just a massively successful artist. He's never
- 41:04Speaker 1: done an album that hasn't gone platinum in his career.
- 41:10Speaker 1: I mean that no, as most people can't say they
- 41:13Speaker 1: got a platinum album the majority. And I heard Quincy
- 41:18Speaker 1: Jones talking one time, and Quincy Jones said he was
- 41:22Speaker 1: talking about music artists. He said, if you get a
- 41:24Speaker 1: platinum album, that's a huge blessing. If you get a
- 41:28Speaker 1: double platinum album, he said, you don't really know how
- 41:31Speaker 1: big that is. He but you go triple platinum Unica
- 41:33Speaker 1: somewhere and sit down. He said, three million people bought
- 41:38Speaker 1: this album. You know, not back in the day, three
- 41:40Speaker 1: million purchased albums, and you had a good deal, you know,
- 41:45Speaker 1: you know, man like the cats had before they made
- 41:48Speaker 1: some money. You know, the record labels came along and
- 41:50Speaker 1: found a way to cheat all these artists out of
- 41:52Speaker 1: them millions of dollars. Later on, I mean, you know,
- 41:56Speaker 1: but then you know, the music industry got smart again.
- 41:59Speaker 1: And now with all of the music that's getting stolen,
- 42:02Speaker 1: it's really hard for artists now, but guys like Ron
- 42:04Speaker 1: as just been doing it over a stendar period of time.
- 42:07Speaker 1: All you got to do is to take your head
- 42:09Speaker 1: off to the greatness of this man. I mean, man,
- 42:11Speaker 1: he is that guy. Man and a warm, warm, beautiful
- 42:16Speaker 1: person man and just good hearted man. Man. Congratulations to
- 42:20Speaker 1: Ron doesn't he loved performed? Hell? Man? I mean, you know,
- 42:24Speaker 1: this is your life. You know, this is like what
- 42:26Speaker 1: I mean, It's kind of like what I do, or
- 42:28Speaker 1: guess I guess what Eddie do, or what all of
- 42:31Speaker 1: us do. I mean, you know, if you love what
- 42:33Speaker 1: you do, it ain't work. But can you still see
- 42:37Speaker 1: yourself still doing it at eighty years old? Though? Absolutely?
- 42:42Speaker 1: Why not that man? I'm gonna do somewhere chilling so hard? Yeah,
- 42:56Speaker 1: it so hard. I'll still be working. Yeah, but I
- 43:05Speaker 1: h you know, you know I'm gonna red, I'm gonna
- 43:08Speaker 1: re invent myself, but it won't be an entertainment. I
- 43:13Speaker 1: just can't see myself entertaining at eighty. I don't. I
- 43:18Speaker 1: just don't, you know. I think I think it's great
- 43:21Speaker 1: for what it is now. I think he's one of
- 43:24Speaker 1: those rare individuals him. Charlie Wilson Lionel, Richie, Smokey Robinson,
- 43:31Speaker 1: Stevie Wonder, Gladdus Night, Patty LaBelle, Anita Baker, Shaka Khan.
- 43:38Speaker 1: I can tell you the ones that I can name
- 43:42Speaker 1: off the top of my head that can still get
- 43:45Speaker 1: out there and hurt you. Yeah, I'm talking about it.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Hurt you, man. Yeah, you know it's others I'm leaving
- 43:53Speaker 1: off list, I'm sure, but Dumn people right there. Worth,
- 44:01Speaker 1: that's so cool. Remember how he was trending during the
- 44:07Speaker 1: versus battle. All the women swag yes, yes, all right.
- 44:14Speaker 1: Coming up next, the nephew with today's Frank phone call.
- 44:17Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 44:32Speaker 1: that in a little bit. Right now, the nephew is

- 47:17Speaker 1: you ain't coming here check my prist state. I get
- 47:19Speaker 1: my pride state checked by my doctor. Who was you

- 47:24Speaker 1: my house? Ain't come and check. And you know what,
- 47:27Speaker 1: I get this all the time. I get a lot
- 47:28Speaker 1: of people that are in denial, A lot of men
- 47:31Speaker 1: that that claim that they state is fine. I heard
- 47:35Speaker 1: my pride state check just at the beginning of this year. Man,
- 47:37Speaker 1: you don't need to come to my eye checking my
- 47:39Speaker 1: prid state. So a lot of people, a lot of
- 47:41Speaker 1: men are in denial saying that they got it checked,
- 47:43Speaker 1: and they got it. A lot of times we find
- 47:44Speaker 1: out they haven't. And there has to be a reason.
- 47:47Speaker 1: If I got you on my list and it's paid,
- 47:49Speaker 1: somebody has paid one hundred and twenty five dollars for
- 47:52Speaker 1: me to come out there and check it, Well, you
- 47:54Speaker 1: still be happy you paid one twenty five dollars just
- 47:56Speaker 1: to listen. Job you have to do then, because you're

- 48:05Speaker 1: of jail on it, and I am gonna check your
- 48:06Speaker 1: proper state and then I'll let you get on the work. Well,
- 48:09Speaker 1: I'll tell you what that rubber glove ain't gonna know
- 48:10Speaker 1: where near meet home. Well, I tell you whether you
- 48:13Speaker 1: over my eyes if you want to, it ain't gonna
- 48:15Speaker 1: be pretty and it ain't gonna be nice with you
- 48:17Speaker 1: in your rubber glove, sir, to stick a rubber glove
- 48:21Speaker 1: when I'm done with you, don't be coming about my
- 48:23Speaker 1: hot time about checking my prop state, sir, sir, do
- 48:26Speaker 1: you realize that this is the leading calls to black men.
- 48:28Speaker 1: Do you realize that I understand that the black men
- 48:34Speaker 1: three out of five black men are lost every year?
- 48:37Speaker 1: Say so, you ought to be very grateful that someone
- 48:41Speaker 1: is sending me by there to check it and make
- 48:42Speaker 1: sure you're okay. I'm grateful that I can pay for
- 48:44Speaker 1: a doctor that I go to every every once a year. Man,
- 48:47Speaker 1: you don't want to have to come to my hot
- 48:48Speaker 1: time about sticking on rubber glove. But me man's phone
- 48:51Speaker 1: with you, sir, So, I'm not gonna sit here and
- 48:53Speaker 1: go back and forth with you. My job is to
- 48:55Speaker 1: give you a friendly call and let you know that
- 48:57Speaker 1: I'm coming. All right, that's not tomorrow, Morton. I don't
- 49:00Speaker 1: want to hear anymore tomorrow morning. I'm there at seven fifteen,
- 49:04Speaker 1: and you're gonna get your prostate check. Whether you like
- 49:06Speaker 1: it or not. Whether you buy it, don't buy here,
- 49:08Speaker 1: then I shall be here. You buy her back. Thank
- 49:11Speaker 1: you bad enough to come over here and check my
- 49:12Speaker 1: prostay you buy it, I'm gonna make it so you

- 54:02Speaker 1: long time we got it? Wholl you here to rob later? Why?
- 54:06Speaker 1: Thank you, Tommy? Thank you? Subject she took away all
- 54:11Speaker 1: my joy. Dear Stephen Shirley, I am having a major problem.
- 54:16Speaker 1: My fiance and I've been together for almost two years.
- 54:19Speaker 1: She is thirty seven and I am twenty nine. In
- 54:23Speaker 1: the early stages, we used to throw down in the bedroom.
- 54:27Speaker 1: I'm talking about doing it everywhere, like five times a
- 54:30Speaker 1: week and multiple sessions at a time, to the point
- 54:33Speaker 1: where we ended up with bruises or bite marks. Her
- 54:36Speaker 1: hair could never stay done back then. But lately I
- 54:41Speaker 1: can barely get her to take care of my needs,
- 54:43Speaker 1: and her mood about sex has drastically changed. She rations
- 54:48Speaker 1: it out to me now and it's not as exciting
- 54:51Speaker 1: because she only likes to do it in one position.
- 54:53Speaker 1: Now I'm excited to get it, to get what I
- 54:56Speaker 1: can get, But then she tells me when it's over,
- 54:59Speaker 1: whether I'm done or not. She usually gives me ten minutes,
- 55:02Speaker 1: but it's not hardly long enough, so I have to
- 55:05Speaker 1: finish the job myself. But the worst part is that
- 55:08Speaker 1: she only wants to be intimate on Sundays, which is
- 55:11Speaker 1: my only day off because I'm self employed and I
- 55:14Speaker 1: show houses every day except Sundays. She knows that I
- 55:18Speaker 1: don't like to get out of bed shower or shave
- 55:21Speaker 1: on that day. I typically lounge around, cook her dinner, relax,
- 55:25Speaker 1: and watch sports or a movie. She chose Sunday on purpose.
- 55:29Speaker 1: This woman has cut me off from all of my supply,
- 55:33Speaker 1: and she wasn't even polite enough to wean me off.
- 55:35Speaker 1: She just did it cold turkey. When I asked her
- 55:38Speaker 1: why she switched up our sex life, she said, I'm
- 55:41Speaker 1: a horn dog and she doesn't want me to go
- 55:43Speaker 1: into marriage thinking I can have it my way all
- 55:46Speaker 1: the time, because that's not how real life works. I'm
- 55:50Speaker 1: wondering what she expected by getting with a guy my age.
- 55:54Speaker 1: I love her and she's a perfect woman for me,
- 55:57Speaker 1: but I need the same sex from her that got
- 55:59Speaker 1: me hooked. Is she really? Is this really how marriages?
- 56:03Speaker 1: If so, is there anything I can do to change things? Well,
- 56:09Speaker 1: you might have to move on. Okay, you might have
- 56:12Speaker 1: to move on. The crazy thing is that in this
- 56:15Speaker 1: letter you kind of both have a valid point. I mean,
- 56:18Speaker 1: you are twenty nine years old, You've been spending your
- 56:21Speaker 1: life lately just wishing every day was Sunday so you
- 56:24Speaker 1: can have sex with your girl, and your fiance is
- 56:28Speaker 1: introducing you to what she sees as real married life
- 56:32Speaker 1: with you know, not sex five times a day ending
- 56:36Speaker 1: up with bruises and bite marks. Okay, that's the way
- 56:41Speaker 1: she sees married life right now. And she's calling you
- 56:43Speaker 1: a horn dog all of that. I know, at twenty nine,
- 56:46Speaker 1: you don't want to hear that, but the truth is
- 56:48Speaker 1: a lot, if not most married couples do slow down
- 56:51Speaker 1: on the sex after a while. That's where the term
- 56:54Speaker 1: like date night came into play. You know, That's why
- 56:57Speaker 1: you hear married couples saying things like we need to
- 56:59Speaker 1: put more spice into our life or we need more
- 57:02Speaker 1: romance because you know, sometimes when the honeymoon is over,
- 57:07Speaker 1: you know, the sex does dwindle in a marriage. I
- 57:10Speaker 1: don't know if that's what she was talking about necessarily,
- 57:13Speaker 1: but you know, the sex in the marriage, just so
- 57:17Speaker 1: you'll know, does kind of, you know, wane off from
- 57:19Speaker 1: time to time. So while you might not want to
- 57:21Speaker 1: hear that right now, your fiance is wrong for cutting
- 57:25Speaker 1: you off. She's really wrong for that. But she's right
- 57:28Speaker 1: in what she said about marriage. What sucks about this
- 57:31Speaker 1: is that you guys started out like porn stars. I mean,
- 57:35Speaker 1: all the sex five times a week, multiple sessions at
- 57:39Speaker 1: a time, ended up with bruises and bite marks, you know,
- 57:43Speaker 1: and just to cut you off all of a sudden
- 57:45Speaker 1: like that. That's the worst thing you could do to someone. So,
- 57:49Speaker 1: if you're paying attention now, if you're paying attention to her,
- 57:52Speaker 1: I know you said you love her, sex and communication.
- 57:54Speaker 1: Because she didn't tell you anything, they're already problems before
- 57:59Speaker 1: you even down the aisle. So I think you need
- 58:01Speaker 1: to reassess your intentions here. This may not be the
- 58:04Speaker 1: woman for you. It doesn't sound like she is, Steve,
- 58:08Speaker 1: get out dog, m. I ain't even gonna waste no
- 58:12Speaker 1: time with this letter. Get out dog listen to me.
- 58:19Speaker 1: If it's bad now, it's only going to get worse.
- 58:27Speaker 1: If she cut it off now, she's going to ritchet
- 58:31Speaker 1: shut in a minute, Riche, she's gonna ritch it shut.
- 58:41Speaker 1: You ain't gonna be get nowhere, Nick, you're gonna be
- 58:45Speaker 1: able to look at it. You're gonna touch it. You
- 58:50Speaker 1: will get nowhere. Nerit don't come telling you. So here's
- 58:53Speaker 1: the deal. You're having a major problem. That's the opening line,
- 58:58Speaker 1: Stephen Sherley, I'm having a major problem. If you're having
- 59:02Speaker 1: a major problem now when you getting married, this will
- 59:06Speaker 1: become an even more major problem. This is a disaster.
- 59:11Speaker 1: Y'all been together for two years. She thirty seven, I'm
- 59:14Speaker 1: twenty nine. In the early stage, we reached to throw
- 59:17Speaker 1: down in the bed room. I'm talking about everywhere five
- 59:19Speaker 1: times a week, multiple sessions at the time, but where
- 59:21Speaker 1: we ended up with bruises and bite mama. Now hold
- 59:23Speaker 1: up bruising and bite mama and punching about each You
- 59:31Speaker 1: might have messed around and just bit and bruise yourself
- 59:34Speaker 1: out of some lar Her hat could never stay dumb
- 59:39Speaker 1: back then, but lady, I can barely get her to
- 59:40Speaker 1: take care of my knees. And her mood about sex
- 59:43Speaker 1: has drastically changed. A man, and she's thirty seven, and
- 59:50Speaker 1: it then drastically changed. You're in trouble, man, She rashes
- 59:53Speaker 1: it out to me. Now it's not as exciting because
- 59:57Speaker 1: she only likes to do it in one position. Nothing,
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: And I'm excited for what I get. But when she
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: telled me it's over, it's over ten minutes. Whether I'm
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: done or not, it's just ten minutes. You are time,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: let's go stop all Yeah, we'll let Part two of
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Steve's response coming up at twenty three minutes after the
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: hour Today's Strawberry Letters, subject she took away all my joy.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening show,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: all right, Come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry Letters.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Subject she took away all my joy. This is horrible, man,
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: it's over wood. Like I said, dog took away your joy.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Your opening line is I have a major problem. Yes,
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: you do, and you're not even married. Ji used to
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: have sex all the time you twenty nine thirty seven,
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: y'all been together for two years. Early stages, you throw
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: around in the bedroom, all over the house, five times
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: a week, multiple time. She couldn't keep her head done,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: get to the point where y'all end up with bruises
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: or bite moms, her hat could never stay done. But
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: lately I'm bare to get her to take care of
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: my kneeds. Her mood about sex has changed drastic. Well,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: now she rashes it out to me. Now it ain't
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: exciting because she only liked to do one position. Now see,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: y'all been doing all bruises and bites and that's all
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: over the place. Now she down to one position, and
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: she got ten minutes done or not ten minutes time up,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Let's go shop. Pu's the iPhone, lom going off everything.
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: Let start, let's get up. Now it's not hardly long enough,
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: so I have to finish the job myself. Damn though
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: you down to that. But the worst part is she
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: only wants to be intimate on Sundays. Now, dog, she
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: didn't broke it down. It ain't had nothing happened in
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: the week, and now it's just on Sunday, man, which
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: is my only day off because I'm self employing. I
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: show houses every day sept Sunday. She knows I don't
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: like to get out of bed, shower, shave on that day.
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: I typically lines around, cook her dinner, relax and watch
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: sports on movie. She chose Sunday on purpose. This woman
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: has cut me off from all my supply and she
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: wasn't even polite enough to wean me out. She just
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: did it cold turkey. When I asked her why she
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: switched up our sex life, she said, I'm a horn dog,
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: and she don't want me to go into marriage thinking
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I can have it my way all the time, because
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: that's not how real life works. Well, that ain't what
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: you said when we first met. Now you gotta commitment,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: talking about from this man. Now she talking about she
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: don't want you to go into marriage thinking that you
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: can get it in kind of way you want to.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: So now she's showing you. She's given you a preview
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: of a coming attraction. She's showing you what marriage is
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: gonna be like with her. You're down the Sunday's Dog
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: and ten minutes on Sundays. Let me tell you something, bro,
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: you ain't gonna be happy like this. You know how
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I know you ain't because you ain't happy now. So brother,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: all this is gonna lead to us in an affair.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: That's all this is gonna lead to is an affair.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: That's all it is. And you're thinking about it now.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: Anytime a man write a letter about his woman sexual things,
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: it's on his mind. Now he trying not to go
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: there right now, the young brother trying not to go
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: there because he says, you know, I love her. She's
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: a perfect woman for me. Don't seem like it, but
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I need the same sex from her that got me hooked.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Is this really how marriage is? Sometimes? Dog? Now, marriage
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: is gonna change. It ain't gonna be as frequent as
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: it was because y'all in the house and I'm telling
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: you something else, something's gonna come into plate that's gonna
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: be affect be old, kids, work, decisions, sickness. All is him?
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: Uh So is there anything I can do to change things?
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: N All you really do is just start like in
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: ten minutes once a week that if you fix your
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: mind around this once a week, ten minutes, you might
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: have a chance what you want. Okay, this is what
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I want to hear. Don't go down if it's kid now,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: it's definitely don't get cut down? Is there? Yeah? Is
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: there a happy medium? Is there a compromise? Because because
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: maybe he's just he won't more wild for her, the
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: bruising like you said, and the bites and all of that. Okay,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: he won't more. Yeah, he wants she's saying he's a
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: horn dog. She ain't going to do this no more.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: We did this for two years. It's too much. She's
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: not doing this no more. So she didn't cut it
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: down to where she can manage it. Want a week,
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: ten minutes a day now Now we're not gonna do
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: this with you, Na, No, we're not doing it with you.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: I'm out by now. She's the perfect woman for you,
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: except she on't like sex. What you do. How perfect
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: is that? Pardner? Oh, so what you're gonna do is
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: you're gonna do a lot of people do. I got
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: this perfect thing over here, and I'm gonna get this
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: imperfect thing over there, because that's what you're gonna do.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: You're twenty nine, y'all. Ain't y'all ain't going to church,
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: so this ain't a moral issue. Sunday is your off
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: day for movies and laying around. You don't shower, sha't
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: leave the bed, you cook all is here on Sundays.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: He ain't going to church, so ain't no, ain't no
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: moral compass here. So it's all good man, it's old
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: with uncle, Steve says, old with na man. You ain't
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: no way in here, you know, ten minutes on Sunday,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: Hold up, man, But bruises and marks showing on. Okay,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: all right, I'll tell you what. I quit biting you.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: We want to do something else thought, Yeah, back with
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: no more damn biting. Okay, And we can stay on
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: the bed where we ain't got to get brewed. But
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: we can we can we get this position chain. I
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: got four ideals on this bed. Can we try it
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: in That's the only thing. But she doesn't. She's not
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: gonna do it because she doesn't know. All right. Poster

- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Talk with Junior Lebron is still the King. We'll talk
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: about it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: All right, guys, Junior is here with Sports Talk. What
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: you got Junior, Let's just go and get to it.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: I just saw probably one of the best basketball games
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: I've seen all season. Uh did you just get to
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: see it? Fellas? Y'all see it? But I did? Can
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: we can? We did you see? First of all, getting
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: Lebron got hit in the eye by uh Green, Raymond
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Green hit him in the eye. They tried to say
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: it was a flavor, but it wasn't a flavor. So
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: Lebron shot the two free throws. Couldn't see hit one
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: or two. But then when the shot cloud run down
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: under a minute to go, Lebron drills of three. I
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: mean it was just you could see well he said
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: on TV. Junior, Yeah, he said he saw three baskets.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: He just shout at the had hit it. But does
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: this change the conversation? Now that last minute shot? Who
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: would you take? Would you take Lebron, would you take Colby?
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: Would you take Jordan? Or would you take Steff? I mean,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: is he them' that's no first If I if I
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: got a last minute shot that I got to take
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: this last second game on the line, I'm gonna take
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: Steph Curry. Yes, he's just a better shooter than all
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: of the people you name. He's a better jump shooter.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: He had thirty seven points. Jeph Curry is the greatest
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: shooter of the basketball I've ever seen. Now, I'm gonna
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: tell you surprising stat Guess who has more three pointers
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: than Steph Curry? Ray Allen, Jesus Shuttlesworth. Right, you know
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: who was a good buzzer beater too? Man? Robert Rory
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: was a buzzer beater. He was pretty good with it. Yes,
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: I mean, you know, smissing that many games and coming
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: back in for a game that you got to win
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: to get in, you know, I mean, that is a
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: big thing. Man. He came off the bench. He had
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: a horrible first half, first half with horrible but that
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: second half, him and Ad woke up, man, and it's
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: like the Warriors had third team turnoles in the same
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: head thirteen. You pretty you're pretty much giving him the
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: game at this point. You can't give le Bron that
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: because that turns into points. So man, I got to
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: give him a shout out. Man, le Bron, we're proud
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: of you. Man, bro all the stuff they said about you, Man,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: you prove it. You're still the greatest out here in
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: this league right now. Because that shot he hid, I
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: didn't even see it. I didn't see how it went there.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: I think he was shocked a winning I don't think
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: he was no dog. He put that thing in that hole. Man,
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: he raised stuff. No, he had, he had separation. He
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: did what he do. There's no such thing as a
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: luck all that shot. Yeah, come on, I didn't say
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: it was luck, like I just said, Man, I just wondered,
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: like you legit went back down course and I couldn't see,
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: he said, I couldn't see. This is what great players do,

- 1:16:35Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening show. All right, So, Steve,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: your good friend Ronald Eisley is eighty years old today,
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: and you guys are such good friends. You've known each
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: other for years and years, and you love the Isley brothers.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Of course they're legends in the game. I mean, great
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: shape for eighty yeah, I mean, you know, man, and
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: still got his voice, Yes, still sound the same, can
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: still hit the notes. You know, he can put that
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: bid on turning. Everybody's damn zaddy. You know. He just
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: a dude, man, I don't know, you know, I mean,
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: everybody knows his music. But when you talk about just
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: a really really good person, man, Ron is a really
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: really great guy man. And to be in a business
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: it's long, man, you know, and really to to just
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: be at it and have the love and admiration that
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: he's had over the his look, everybody hits some thorns
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: in their career. Everybody hits some some some low spots
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: in their life. But man, the dude that's just been
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: a producing hit after hit after hit. Um Me, personally,
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: I don't know anybody that has done more albums than
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: Ron Eisley, me personally. I mean it may be, but
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: I don't know anybody personally. And I do believe the
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: number of platinum albums is in the mid twenties. It
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: was twenty one years ago. The number could be twenty eight.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: Somebody looked that up. I mean platinum albums. This dude
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: is just a massively successful artist. He's never done an
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: album that hasn't gone platinum in his career. I mean
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: that no, as most people can't say they got a
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: platinum album the majority. And I heard Quincy Jones talking
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: one time, and Quincy Jones said he was talking about
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: music artists. He said, if you get a platinum album,
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: that's a huge blessing. If you get a double platinum album,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: he said, you don't really know how big it is.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: He but you go triple platinum, U go somewhere and
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: sit down. He said, three million people bought this album.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: You know, not back in the day, three million purchased albums,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: and you had a good deal, you know, you know,
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: man like the cat's hand. Before they made some money.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: You know, the record labels came along and found a
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: way to cheat all these artists out of millions of dollars.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: Later on, I mean, you know, but then you know,
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: the music industry got smart again. And now with all
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: of the music that's getting stolen, it's really hard for
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: artists now. But guys like Ron Agy just been doing
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: it over extended period of time. All you got to
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: do is just take your hat off to the greatness
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: of this man. I mean, man, he is that guy.
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: Man and a warm, warm, beautiful person man and just
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: good hearted man. Congratulations to her. Coming up. It is
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: our last break of the day. It is the last
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: break of the day. Democrats, Could you just get rid
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: of the filibustered and get some stuff done? Damn, damn,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: just please just get rid of it, all right, And
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: we'll have some closing remarks at forty nine minutes after
- 1:19:54Speaker 1: the hour from the one and Only are Fearless leader
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening, all right, guys,
