- 1:10Speaker 3: You you gotta turn I can't.
- 1:40Speaker 1: You have to turn the mouth turn.
- 1:43Speaker 4: You probably got to turn mouth, turn out the word
- 1:47Speaker 4: the monk. Come come on, you'll think, uh huh, I
- 2:02Speaker 4: sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 8: Good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 9: You all listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 9: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man,
- 2:11Speaker 9: old man, oh Man symbolizes just one thing to me. Man,
- 2:16Speaker 9: It's just a constant remind of exactly how good God
- 2:18Speaker 9: has been to me over the years.
- 2:20Speaker 8: And I'm thank him for it too, because.
- 2:22Speaker 9: I realize every day that I wake up that I
- 2:25Speaker 9: would be nothing without him. That everything I am that's
- 2:29Speaker 9: any good in me, I owe to him.
- 2:32Speaker 8: Now.
- 2:32Speaker 9: Have I made some mistakes along the way, yep, bunches,
- 2:36Speaker 9: bunches and bunches. And will I continue to make mistakes
- 2:40Speaker 9: along the way yep? Not as many, hopefully as I
- 2:45Speaker 9: have in the past, because a lot of stuff I
- 2:49Speaker 9: know better now.
- 2:50Speaker 8: But you're still going to make mistakes. Now.
- 2:54Speaker 9: You know, hopefully I've limited the amount of intentional errors
- 3:00Speaker 9: in my life. I've wiped quite a few of those out.
- 3:03Speaker 9: But from time to time, because we're human, we're going
- 3:07Speaker 9: to make a mistake every now and then. The trick,
- 3:09Speaker 9: what it is, y'all, is not to let the devil
- 3:12Speaker 9: deceive you into thinking that once you make that mistake,
- 3:15Speaker 9: that that's it. You can't do it. You're falling off
- 3:18Speaker 9: the wagon. You can't reboard it. That's the biggest trick
- 3:22Speaker 9: that he uses. He makes you think that if you
- 3:26Speaker 9: keep stumbling, that you can't run the race. It kind
- 3:32Speaker 9: of reminds me of a marathon runner. From time to
- 3:36Speaker 9: time I watch them on TV, and you'll see some
- 3:39Speaker 9: people who finish the race, you know, in a nice pace.
- 3:46Speaker 9: You see people finish the race sprinting towards the finished line.
- 3:50Speaker 9: But every now and then you'll watch a marathon and
- 3:54Speaker 9: you'll see a runner and the runner is in really,
- 3:59Speaker 9: really bad shape.
- 4:01Speaker 8: The key is they finish the race.
- 4:06Speaker 9: See, you don't get disqualified in the marathon because you stumble.
- 4:13Speaker 8: You don't. They don't.
- 4:13Speaker 9: They don't take your opportunity to finish the race because
- 4:18Speaker 9: you keep falling.
- 4:21Speaker 8: That's not the key. The key is finishing.
- 4:24Speaker 9: And a lot of times what the devil does is
- 4:26Speaker 9: he makes you think that because you keep stumbling, because
- 4:31Speaker 9: you're swaying from side to side, that you know you
- 4:34Speaker 9: out the race. Well, that's not the case. And see
- 4:38Speaker 9: and in this thing called life, let me help you
- 4:40Speaker 9: understand something. Everybody falls, Nobody sprints to the tape in
- 4:45Speaker 9: this one. Nobody just runs free and clear. That has
- 4:48Speaker 9: some people running faster than you and all like this,
- 4:52Speaker 9: and some people gonna get to the end before you
- 4:54Speaker 9: let them go ahead. And when the end come, the
- 4:56Speaker 9: end come. I ain't in the rust. You get to
- 4:58Speaker 9: the end. But in this though, when you're stumbling and
- 5:02Speaker 9: you're falling, it's a part of it. No one gets
- 5:05Speaker 9: through this race without stumbling and falling, swaying from side
- 5:09Speaker 9: to side. So don't let the enemy deceive you in
- 5:13Speaker 9: the thinking that it's over. I try to be encouraging
- 5:18Speaker 9: to people because I don't want people to get stuck
- 5:22Speaker 9: on this thing, you know. And my walk is very
- 5:24Speaker 9: different from a lot of people's walks. And then I
- 5:26Speaker 9: know a lot of people who walking in faith the
- 5:29Speaker 9: way I'm walking in faith. But my thing in the morning.
- 5:32Speaker 9: Is just to remind those that is not a perfect
- 5:35Speaker 9: walk man, that it's not something that's set up where
- 5:39Speaker 9: you're gonna be skipping through life scott free without any pitfalls.
- 5:44Speaker 9: You know, I keep saying it over and over and
- 5:46Speaker 9: over again because, like I said, when I was in DC,
- 5:50Speaker 9: my boy Hondo said this to me and it just
- 5:53Speaker 9: kind of stuck with me that the road to construct,
- 5:55Speaker 9: the road to success is always under construction. You have
- 5:59Speaker 9: to figure and count on the setbacks and the pitfalls.
- 6:04Speaker 9: But it's those people that that that that are that
- 6:07Speaker 9: fight through will be the victors in the end. You
- 6:11Speaker 9: cannot give up, man, Stop going somewhere and sitting down
- 6:15Speaker 9: every time something goes down. It's going to go down.
- 6:19Speaker 9: It's a part of it. It's going to happen. It's
- 6:23Speaker 9: going to occur that are going to be setbacks. If
- 6:26Speaker 9: you go and sit down every time there's a setback,
- 6:31Speaker 9: that's not how this works. It is designed that way.
- 6:35Speaker 9: If success were easy, everybody would be successful. But success
- 6:41Speaker 9: is just reserved for those who are willing to fight through,
- 6:44Speaker 9: who refuse to settle for mediocrity, who wants something more. Now,
- 6:50Speaker 9: don't get me wrong, success is defined by each individual.
- 6:55Speaker 9: So what I may consider to be successful, you may
- 6:58Speaker 9: not consider that. You know what Bill Gates considered successful.
- 7:02Speaker 9: I might not consider what Michael Jordan considered successful. I
- 7:07Speaker 9: might not consider what you consider successful. Your boss might
- 7:11Speaker 9: not consider. You have to define what that is for yourself.
- 7:14Speaker 9: It may not be monetary at all. You know, your
- 7:18Speaker 9: level of success could be tied up in community service.
- 7:22Speaker 9: It could be tied up in family. It could be
- 7:25Speaker 9: tied up in the church. Your level of success could
- 7:27Speaker 9: be tied up into boys clubs. It could be any
- 7:31Speaker 9: number of things. Whatever your level of success is, you
- 7:35Speaker 9: have to determine what that is you and the best
- 7:38Speaker 9: way to determine that is to get in touch with
- 7:42Speaker 9: your maker, who created you, to find out what your
- 7:45Speaker 9: mission and your purpose is so he can put you
- 7:49Speaker 9: on track. I just had this conversation with my son
- 7:52Speaker 9: and we were talking about getting on the.
- 7:56Speaker 8: Path that God has set up for you.
- 7:59Speaker 9: So many times we find ourselves fighting through life because
- 8:03Speaker 9: of so much uncertainty, because we have no idea where
- 8:07Speaker 9: we're headed. It's like one of my sayings that I
- 8:13Speaker 9: have at my mentoring camp for boys, is is that
- 8:17Speaker 9: a boy without a male role model is like an
- 8:20Speaker 9: explorer without a map. See if you don't have a
- 8:26Speaker 9: map laid out in front of you of where you're
- 8:30Speaker 9: going when you wake up every day. That pretty much
- 8:34Speaker 9: explains the feeling of confusion, the laxadaisical additude, the lack
- 8:42Speaker 9: of purpose, to not understanding your mission because you don't
- 8:48Speaker 9: have not gotten in touch with your creator to find
- 8:51Speaker 9: out exactly what your path in life is. What are
- 8:55Speaker 9: you supposed to be doing? The moment you can identify
- 8:59Speaker 9: that is the moment that you get started waking up
- 9:03Speaker 9: with purpose, with the sense of direction. When you kill
- 9:07Speaker 9: the sense of I don't know what's next or what
- 9:09Speaker 9: to do. Now, there's going to be some confusing moments
- 9:12Speaker 9: no matter what happened, it's going to be some uncertainty,
- 9:15Speaker 9: but at least you'll know where you're going. So if
- 9:18Speaker 9: you tied a waking up feeling loss, abandon confuse, don't
- 9:22Speaker 9: know what to do, don't know what you're supposed to
- 9:25Speaker 9: be doing, refer back to your makeup. Because when he
- 9:31Speaker 9: created you, he had a plan for you. When he
- 9:34Speaker 9: created you, he had a path for you. Now we've
- 9:38Speaker 9: made some decisions to get off of both of those,
- 9:41Speaker 9: the mission and the path.
- 9:42Speaker 8: But God can get you right back on track.
- 9:46Speaker 9: Do that today, ask him what you're supposed to be doing,
- 9:50Speaker 9: and listen. God has all the answers if you form
- 9:55Speaker 9: the relationship.
- 9:56Speaker 10: Okay, morning show, ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 9: It's a new day, another dawning, another blessing, another opportunity
- 10:07Speaker 9: and another chance to get it right or to continue
- 10:11Speaker 9: or just to get started. But today it's just an opportunity.
- 10:15Speaker 9: But I take mind to say thank you, man, just
- 10:19Speaker 9: thank you, because boy.
- 10:20Speaker 8: This is good.
- 10:21Speaker 9: I don't know how y'all feel about it, but living
- 10:23Speaker 9: living is alright, as tough as it can be. Sometime,
- 10:27Speaker 9: I like living the good, the bad, the challenges.
- 10:31Speaker 8: All of it.
- 10:32Speaker 9: I like living. Thank God for the progress. I thank
- 10:36Speaker 9: God for enabling me. Man, do I thank God for
- 10:40Speaker 9: just giving me the mindset to want to try to
- 10:43Speaker 9: do better. Just give me that, God. I thank God
- 10:46Speaker 9: for hope, just that there is the possibility looming in
- 10:51Speaker 9: the near future that everything gonna be all right. I
- 10:55Speaker 9: cling to that hope. Oftentimes. I've done it in the past,
- 10:58Speaker 9: I'll continue to do so. I invite you to have
- 11:00Speaker 9: that same type of deal going on, because whatever you're
- 11:03Speaker 9: going through, just remember this this too shall pass.
- 11:06Speaker 8: You can believe that.
- 11:07Speaker 9: Steve Harvey Morning Show, Shirley Strawberry calling for real. I
- 11:11Speaker 9: think Mississippi Monica. I don't see a junior and the
- 11:14Speaker 9: legend that is Nephew Tom Yell Junior.
- 11:19Speaker 8: You've been real interesting lately.
- 11:22Speaker 11: Yeah, I got a question for you, dam I just
- 11:25Speaker 11: need to know something.
- 11:25Speaker 7: Man.
- 11:26Speaker 11: You know, you've had a lot of hate over your
- 11:28Speaker 11: over your career, You've had a lot of things. Do
- 11:31Speaker 11: you ever feel this ever time for you? You ever
- 11:33Speaker 11: want to just address some of these people because you
- 11:35Speaker 11: don't never really respond back to them.
- 11:37Speaker 12: You don't really wait what what Steve?
- 11:39Speaker 6: What scene?
- 11:40Speaker 8: If you want to Hell, yeah, I know to address it.
- 11:44Speaker 9: Oh, because I can set the record straight.
- 11:50Speaker 8: I got four hour radio show. I could address every.
- 11:54Speaker 9: Single thing ever said about me, ever said about y'all,
- 11:59Speaker 9: ever said.
- 11:59Speaker 8: About us, anything I could. I could do it all.
- 12:03Speaker 8: But yeah, but for what right? Hey?
- 12:08Speaker 9: Man, if you stop and take the time to address
- 12:12Speaker 9: every hater, you're gonna slow your own progress.
- 12:18Speaker 8: Stay on the wall.
- 12:20Speaker 9: And what I've really learned in my life is for
- 12:24Speaker 9: those that love you, no explanation necessary. For those that
- 12:28Speaker 9: hate you, no explanation acceptable.
- 12:31Speaker 1: That's it.
- 12:32Speaker 9: I don't care what you say to a hater. They
- 12:34Speaker 9: got they gonna find something else.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Why you do that?
- 12:37Speaker 8: Why you do that?
- 12:38Speaker 9: And then soon as something happened to you this day
- 12:40Speaker 9: favorite work, that's calm. People don't even know what comma is. Hey, man,
- 12:46Speaker 9: do you think it take God thirty years to pay
- 12:49Speaker 9: you back for something you did thirty years ago?
- 12:51Speaker 8: Just now you thank God? Just now bringing it up?
- 12:55Speaker 6: Man?
- 12:55Speaker 9: Do you know how crazy our life would be if
- 12:57Speaker 9: that's how God Almighty worked? God did it was with
- 13:00Speaker 9: us immediately, e immediately. And if you ask for forgiveness
- 13:08Speaker 9: and are sincere about it, you do that immediately too.
- 13:12Speaker 9: So you got to quit letting people, man bring your
- 13:15Speaker 9: pass up to remind you of what you did. I
- 13:17Speaker 9: don't care. So yeah, man, I don't. I get it
- 13:21Speaker 9: all the time. And nine then I'm human out let
- 13:24Speaker 9: something sniff out.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Every Yeah, and you know I shouldn't.
- 13:30Speaker 9: Yeah, I did some reason. I should have just let
- 13:32Speaker 9: it go out. Really, I'll shame myself to a.
- 13:35Speaker 10: Right coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:40Speaker 10: we'll run that prank back with the nephew.
- 13:42Speaker 13: Right after this.

- 14:20Speaker 6: people in the neighborhood, man, to you know, I'm inviting
- 14:24Speaker 6: a lot of people over to the fight party over
- 14:25Speaker 6: here in my house. Oh yeah, yeah. I was one
- 14:27Speaker 6: of them.
- 14:27Speaker 7: Was. I was gonna once it all fight too.

- 15:05Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, I got cable.
- 15:07Speaker 6: Okay, listen, it's what we need. Man. I got about
- 15:11Speaker 6: four thousand feet a cable card. And what I want

- 15:19Speaker 6: cable card to your house and run it two streets
- 15:23Speaker 6: over to my house so we can watch the fight
- 15:26Speaker 6: in the backyard.

- 15:41Speaker 6: coming over. But see the problem is, I ain't got
- 15:43Speaker 6: cable here at the house. But how is you gonna
- 15:45Speaker 6: have a fight for it? And you ain't got no cable.
- 15:48Speaker 6: And that's what I'm saying, That's what I'm saying you.
- 15:49Speaker 6: You asked me what could you help out with? So
- 15:52Speaker 6: that's what I'm asking you. I used to wait for
- 15:54Speaker 6: the cable company. I know how to hook it up
- 15:56Speaker 6: at your house. I know how to bypass pay per view.
- 15:59Speaker 6: We're gonna run it two streets. So I got a
- 16:01Speaker 6: real doable cable car. I got a big TV. I'm
- 16:04Speaker 6: gonna put out in the backyard.
- 16:05Speaker 7: You came me and invite me to a fight party, y'all.
- 16:08Speaker 7: Ain't got no no cable. Now you want me to
- 16:11Speaker 7: do something illegal and run four thousand see the cable
- 16:14Speaker 7: wires two streets over to my backyard, over the city.

- 16:36Speaker 7: I don't know how you can leave it a collar,
- 16:38Speaker 7: call up a cat man and write it out to

- 17:42Speaker 7: I understand your situation, ma, brother. I want to be
- 17:44Speaker 7: at the house watching the fight too, But I ain't
- 17:46Speaker 7: nowhere in the wild. I'm for to have no four
- 17:47Speaker 7: thousands for the cable running from my house. I can't
- 17:49Speaker 7: see that what happened. I'm out here in the suburb
- 17:51Speaker 7: now with a family. Now, I can't do that type
- 17:53Speaker 7: of thing, man, I can't. I don't want no police,

- 18:07Speaker 6: I'm coming to your house to hook this table and
- 18:10Speaker 6: run it to the streets over.

- 36:13Speaker 8: It starts with an M and it ends with uh.
- 36:25Speaker 10: Back back in twenty twenty one, there was a study
- 36:29Speaker 10: release by Timothy J a psychology professor in Massachusetts, stating
- 36:33Speaker 10: that swearing can also be associated with social intelligence.
- 36:37Speaker 13: The professor said, quote, having.
- 36:39Speaker 10: The strategies to know where and when it's appropriate to
- 36:42Speaker 10: swear is a social cognitive skill, like picking the right
- 36:46Speaker 10: clothes for the right occasion. Another professor said, quote, Cursing
- 36:51Speaker 10: produces a stress response that initiates the body's ancient defensive reflex.
- 36:57Speaker 10: A flush of adrenaline increases heart rate and breathing, prepping
- 37:01Speaker 10: muscles for a fight.
- 37:02Speaker 13: So Steve, guys, what are your thoughts on this? What
- 37:05Speaker 13: do you what do you think?
- 37:09Speaker 8: Come out with you with the medical reason to extreme me.
- 37:12Speaker 9: I just want to thank this new study because I
- 37:15Speaker 9: have been trying to give people to understand the importance
- 37:18Speaker 9: of it and the effect that it has had on me,
- 37:20Speaker 9: both beneficially as a social uh ineptness and abilities, as
- 37:25Speaker 9: well as the health benefits of custom. A lot of
- 37:29Speaker 9: people have diabetes and blood pressure, chronic you know, diroid issues.
- 37:36Speaker 8: And I ain't got none of that. Dog, I get
- 37:42Speaker 8: it out. I get skipped out.

- 37:50Speaker 13: Fester justify what you do.
- 37:55Speaker 6: Man.
- 37:55Speaker 8: I just want to thank the people for this study.
- 37:57Speaker 9: It's been you know, long time coming, and I've often wondered, uh,
- 38:01Speaker 9: you know what it was that you know, people had
- 38:04Speaker 9: a you know, professor they thought about It's just thank
- 38:09Speaker 9: you telling me anything, junior, anybody.
- 38:11Speaker 8: I give you, I'll give you one.
- 38:12Speaker 14: Let's let's just I want you to tell me how
- 38:15Speaker 14: you cut your way out of this right here. Somebody
- 38:18Speaker 14: just cut you off on the freeway. Cush your way
- 38:20Speaker 14: out of that.
- 38:21Speaker 9: Well, you the blank don't really know me. I ain't
- 38:27Speaker 9: the blanket the blank one blank.

- 39:10Speaker 10: Can I have in thirty four minutes after the hour?
- 39:13Speaker 10: The kids today are different, we all know that. But

- 39:21Speaker 10: You guys hear about this eight year old girl who
- 39:23Speaker 10: drove herself to Target.
- 39:25Speaker 13: To go shopping. Well, we'll talk about it right after this.
- 39:29Speaker 8: I love it.
- 39:31Speaker 13: You're listening hard Morning Show.
- 39:35Speaker 10: An eight year old Ohio girl was so set on
- 39:38Speaker 10: shopping that she hopped behind the wheel of the family
- 39:41Speaker 10: suv and drove for ten miles to the local Target.
- 39:45Speaker 10: The girl's worried parents call the police and reported her missing.
- 39:49Speaker 10: A neighbor security camera caught the little girl getting into
- 39:53Speaker 10: the suv and driving by herself. Eventually, police located the
- 39:57Speaker 10: vehicle in the Target parking lot and the little girl
- 40:01Speaker 10: was found inside the store shopping.
- 40:03Speaker 13: Uh.
- 40:04Speaker 10: Police called her parents. The girl did have a confession
- 40:07Speaker 10: to make. She crashed into a mailbox somewhere along the way,
- 40:11Speaker 10: leaving a dent in her parents car, but no one
- 40:13Speaker 10: was injured.
- 40:14Speaker 15: Uh.
- 40:15Speaker 13: So here's a question.
- 40:16Speaker 10: Back in the day, guys, did you, guys ever sneak
- 40:18Speaker 10: and do something that was dangerous like this that you
- 40:21Speaker 10: should have gotten a whooping for or spain.

- 40:25Speaker 14: old little white girl.
- 40:26Speaker 8: That's what is it. Let's just be clear. Let's be
- 40:29Speaker 8: completely clear.
- 40:30Speaker 13: I wouldn't say that, but you're sure about it?
- 40:32Speaker 9: Huh Because in that there were no injuries in the
- 40:38Speaker 9: involved with the car.

- 41:01Speaker 13: You wouldn't have gotten that she put an in the car,
- 41:04Speaker 13: she ran into a mailbox. She was driving her butt off.
- 41:09Speaker 1: So that that's the thing.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Have you guys ever done anything like that where you
- 41:13Speaker 2: snuck and did something you knew you weren't supposed to do.
- 41:16Speaker 14: I didn't snug somebody in the house. I never took
- 41:20Speaker 14: that's I ain't taking my dad to truck on my

- 41:35Speaker 8: Tell you what, I wasn't gonna do. Car at a man?
- 41:43Speaker 13: How does she know what? She's watching her parents drive
- 41:46Speaker 13: A long time?
- 41:48Speaker 8: A long time, I.
- 41:51Speaker 13: Know, But I'm just saying all that time she's been watching.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Oh you knew.
- 41:58Speaker 8: That was years that got her to that Yeah, to

- 42:43Speaker 13: Every day every day.
- 42:44Speaker 14: I got I got beat by my daddy when we
- 42:47Speaker 14: was riding and I thought the door wasn't closed good
- 42:50Speaker 14: and we was riding and I open up that door.
- 42:52Speaker 8: And closed it. He pulled over.
- 42:56Speaker 14: I've never forgotten that pull over. That got a switch,
- 42:59Speaker 14: not a witch. Yeah, beat me, beat me on the
- 43:02Speaker 14: side of the street.
- 43:04Speaker 13: No seat belts back then, you could have his arm,
- 43:08Speaker 13: his arm.
- 43:10Speaker 9: I took my bike out the garage and rode it
- 43:12Speaker 9: one time. I wasn't supposed to do that. I got
- 43:14Speaker 9: a beating for that. I know God in here. Well,
- 43:16Speaker 9: what would havepen I took that car we had. We've
- 43:22Speaker 9: never been a multi car family, always had one car.
- 43:26Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 43:28Speaker 9: He got work in that car, and my mama got
- 43:30Speaker 9: to go to church in that car.
- 43:31Speaker 8: And I took the car and put an in it,
- 43:34Speaker 8: put a din on it.
- 43:35Speaker 10: Yeah, with the little eight year old is just walking
- 43:38Speaker 10: through Target, shopping like nothing.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Drinking up.
- 43:46Speaker 14: If that had been me, they had closed Target down.
- 43:50Speaker 14: My mama would have shut Target down.
- 43:53Speaker 8: Yeah, oh yeah, wow, oh yeah. I would have been
- 43:56Speaker 8: in Target looking for my burrier suit in the suit section.
- 44:02Speaker 9: Yeah. Get buried here because he own this way. I'm
- 44:10Speaker 9: pretty sure.
- 44:12Speaker 10: I don't even know why you would do this at
- 44:14Speaker 10: eight All right, thanks guys. Coming up next it is
- 44:18Speaker 10: a nephew and the prank phone call for today.
- 44:21Speaker 13: Right after this, you're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 44:26Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, right about
- 44:28Speaker 10: four minutes after, it's my strawberry letter for today and
- 44:31Speaker 10: the subject is I went to her house to.
- 44:34Speaker 13: Get my husband.
- 44:35Speaker 10: Okay, that's not really self explained, still not, but we
- 44:40Speaker 10: will get into it and find out a little more
- 44:44Speaker 10: about that. Anyway, that's coming up because right now the
- 44:51Speaker 10: nephew is here with today's prank phone call.
- 44:54Speaker 13: Nephew, what you got for us?
- 44:55Speaker 9: Fairly?
- 44:56Speaker 14: I got love, etcetera. Love except for cant dog give you?
- 45:05Speaker 7: Would Hello?
- 45:07Speaker 6: Hello, I'm trying to reach Kaylan Kaylen.
- 45:10Speaker 7: No, she's not here right now. Who's speaking?
- 45:13Speaker 6: This is doctor Albert Listen. I was giving a car.
- 45:15Speaker 6: Are you able to leave a message for for me? Yeah? Yeah, okay?
- 45:18Speaker 6: Would you let her know her sessions will be on
- 45:20Speaker 6: Wednesdays at seven thirty sessions.
- 45:23Speaker 7: What sesson are you talking about?
- 45:24Speaker 6: Session? Well, actually she signed up for class, an eight
- 45:28Speaker 6: week class and it's every Wednesday night at seven thirty. Okay,
- 45:31Speaker 6: what classes are you talking about?
- 45:34Speaker 7: What kind of classes?
- 45:34Speaker 6: This is? Love et cetera? Have you heard of us? No? Okay,
- 45:38Speaker 6: well let me kind of give you a little briefing here.
- 45:40Speaker 6: Kaylen actually came in and filled out to take some
- 45:43Speaker 6: classes and we're love etcetera. So we teach different things.
- 45:48Speaker 7: What is it like a seminar or something.
- 45:50Speaker 6: Well, we teach poor play, intimacy, sensual massages and things
- 45:55Speaker 6: like that. And she I was actually here when she
- 45:57Speaker 6: came and filled out the paperwork. She said she wanted
- 46:00Speaker 6: to screuce up her love life with her husband. Are
- 46:03Speaker 6: you her husband?
- 46:04Speaker 7: Yeah? Yeah, I'm a husband. But what I'm saying is
- 46:07Speaker 7: is like a joint thing. Am I supposed to be
- 46:09Speaker 7: there or something?
- 46:10Speaker 5: No?
- 46:10Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, This is actually her wanting to
- 46:12Speaker 6: Actually I'm if you don't know about it, I'm assuming
- 46:15Speaker 6: she wants to surprise you and show you some different
- 46:18Speaker 6: things when she finishes her sessions.
- 46:21Speaker 7: So when did when did she come in? Like she
- 46:24Speaker 7: came in? Where are y'all located? First of all?
- 46:26Speaker 6: Okay, Well, she actually came in a couple of weeks
- 46:28Speaker 6: ago and she filled out the paperwork. We're in the
- 46:30Speaker 6: downtown area. She filled it out. She said she was
- 46:33Speaker 6: very excited. She wanted to do some different things for
- 46:35Speaker 6: her husband. We just asked her she gets here a
- 46:37Speaker 6: little earlier, probably fifteen minutes earlier, so she can shower
- 46:40Speaker 6: and put a robe on and then we can start class.
- 46:42Speaker 11: Well, well, whoa whoa, whoa, whoa whoa whoa.
- 46:45Speaker 7: Shower, shower and rolls. What's that?
- 46:47Speaker 6: What's that for? You're not upset about this, are you? Now?
- 46:49Speaker 7: I mean, I ain't got no problem with you know us,
- 46:51Speaker 7: we mean we know. I mean we married a couple,
- 46:53Speaker 7: you know what I mean? So you know, anything to
- 46:55Speaker 7: spies the spice of the marriage. But you know, as
- 46:57Speaker 7: far as me not being involved in her going out
- 46:59Speaker 7: to buself and you're talking about taking the bath and
- 47:02Speaker 7: robe and all this other stuff. Man, she don't need
- 47:04Speaker 7: to be there for no, for no mess like that.
- 47:06Speaker 6: Man. Well, no, no, sir, it's nothing like that. I mean,
- 47:08Speaker 6: it's it's it's basically a class where people get in
- 47:11Speaker 6: touch with their with their sensitive side and you get
- 47:13Speaker 6: to actually, you know, you learn about four play what
- 47:16Speaker 6: what takes.
- 47:17Speaker 7: You're talking about eight weeks though? Eight weeks eight weeks
- 47:20Speaker 7: like that, you must even eight weeks, not much.
- 47:25Speaker 6: It's only one night a week, it's only on Wednesday,
- 47:28Speaker 6: So really you only have eight sessions. Eight sessions exactly.
- 47:31Speaker 7: Okay, So why why did she have to have a
- 47:33Speaker 7: robe though? I mean, why is he not watch she
- 47:35Speaker 7: just not showing up at the work or whatever.
- 47:37Speaker 6: Well, you have to bring your rope, sir. Everyone showers
- 47:40Speaker 6: and then they put their robe on and we we
- 47:42Speaker 6: actually coached them through. Here's how fourth play goes. Here's
- 47:45Speaker 6: the intimacy. Here's sensual massaging.
- 47:47Speaker 7: No no, no, no fan you get you're getting a
- 47:50Speaker 7: twisted What I'm asking you is you you You're really
- 47:53Speaker 7: not explaining yourself with enough? Like what do y'all do?
- 47:56Speaker 6: Like understand the.
- 47:57Speaker 7: Class like a classroom said. If I'm in the class
- 48:00Speaker 7: taking a car head, there's nobody touching me, ain't no,
- 48:02Speaker 7: ain't no cold coming off, ain't nobody taking no group showers,
- 48:06Speaker 7: carrying on what you got you saying, like what's going nothing?
- 48:10Speaker 6: Nothing like that at all. But we do come in
- 48:13Speaker 6: contact with our sensual side. Now we will have a
- 48:16Speaker 6: partner in class. She'll deal with that one partner. It's
- 48:19Speaker 6: not until the fourth session that we really get into
- 48:23Speaker 6: some strong physical contacts.
- 48:24Speaker 7: Man, what are you talking about? What are you talking about?
- 48:27Speaker 7: You're talking about a partner or like you're talking about
- 48:29Speaker 7: another woman, like some of my teammate or something. What
- 48:31Speaker 7: you're talking about? You about another dude?
- 48:32Speaker 6: Everyone has opposite sex partner.
- 48:34Speaker 7: Then you got to be out your mind, sir. I
- 48:36Speaker 7: don't evenive you called. Why are you even? Why are
- 48:38Speaker 7: you even calling me with this right here?
- 48:40Speaker 6: And you have to understand, I'm I wasn't calling you.
- 48:43Speaker 6: I was trying to reach miss Kaylen.
- 48:45Speaker 7: I don't care who are you trying to reach? Man,
- 48:47Speaker 7: you called in my house talking about my wife on
- 48:50Speaker 7: some robe and some partners. And it don't get physical
- 48:52Speaker 7: to the fourth session of carying. Ain't gonna be no
- 48:54Speaker 7: physical at all, sir.
- 48:55Speaker 6: Basically, your wife is trying to surprise you with a
- 48:58Speaker 6: good thing.
- 48:58Speaker 7: No, no, no, no on you just hold on. I'm
- 49:01Speaker 7: gonna get this straightened out real quick.
- 49:02Speaker 6: Hold on wait wait wait, wait, what are you what
- 49:04Speaker 6: are you doing?
- 49:04Speaker 7: I'm gonna call my wife, That's what I'm abu say.
- 49:06Speaker 6: Okay, what you don't understand she's trying to It's not
- 49:08Speaker 6: good for you to call she wants to surprise you
- 49:10Speaker 6: my wife.
- 49:11Speaker 7: You let me hand on my wife the way I
- 49:12Speaker 7: want to handle it. You hold on, hold on, state
- 49:16Speaker 7: this drew. You called me back when you get this message.
- 49:18Speaker 7: Called me back at the house as soon.
- 49:19Speaker 6: As you get to serve. Hell yeah, sir, she wants
- 49:23Speaker 6: to surprise you.
- 49:25Speaker 7: Well, we got surprised already, all right. The first of all,
- 49:28Speaker 7: she ain't gonna be coming down to y'all little sessions.
- 49:30Speaker 7: And uh, what do y'all say, y'all do located that again?
- 49:33Speaker 6: We love ETCeteras there in the downtown area.
- 49:35Speaker 7: How much this thing folds to the cost anyway?
- 49:38Speaker 6: Well, like I said, she signed up for eight sessions.
- 49:40Speaker 6: It's uh one session per week. It's one hundred dollars
- 49:43Speaker 6: these sessions. She's already paid the eight hundred dollars, sir.
- 49:45Speaker 6: She bekay what she's paid in full to do all
- 49:49Speaker 6: eight sessions.
- 49:49Speaker 7: Man, I know what else she ain't paid no eight

- 49:52Speaker 6: Of y'all she's starting this coming winning.

- 54:20Speaker 10: Thank you nephew. Subject. I went to her house to
- 54:23Speaker 10: get my husband. Dear Stephen Shirley. I'm fifty three and
- 54:28Speaker 10: I've been married twenty two years. I've been struggling with
- 54:32Speaker 10: my husband's two female friends for twenty five years, since
- 54:35Speaker 10: the day I met him. We met at an alumni
- 54:39Speaker 10: ball and they were his dates. They had to approve
- 54:42Speaker 10: of me before we got serious with each other. My
- 54:45Speaker 10: husband's two female friends live next door to each other.
- 54:49Speaker 10: Their husbands accepted my husband as their wives bonus husband.
- 54:53Speaker 10: I never liked it, but I never said anything about it.
- 54:56Speaker 10: Many nights, for many years, my husband has been partying
- 55:00Speaker 10: over at one of their houses. He never invited me
- 55:03Speaker 10: to any of their parties. He always said that there
- 55:05Speaker 10: would be drinking and they would be playing cards all night.
- 55:09Speaker 10: I don't drink or play cards. My husband says that's
- 55:12Speaker 10: what he loved about me. Recently, I started using an
- 55:15Speaker 10: app to track our teenagers in case of emergency I
- 55:19Speaker 10: added my husband to the app and forgot to tell him.
- 55:22Speaker 10: Friday night, it worked in my favor. It was late
- 55:25Speaker 10: and my husband wasn't home yet, so I located him
- 55:28Speaker 10: on the app. He was at one of the female friends' houses.
- 55:31Speaker 10: I got up and I went to get him. The
- 55:34Speaker 10: back door was unlocked, and I walked in and saw
- 55:36Speaker 10: my husband, the ladies, their husbands, and I counted eight
- 55:40Speaker 10: more people. They were all in swimsuits, and one of
- 55:43Speaker 10: the white girls said they were about to go skinny
- 55:47Speaker 10: dipping in the lake. There is a lake behind the houses,
- 55:50Speaker 10: but the water is very nasty. My husband said it
- 55:54Speaker 10: wasn't true, but he had on his swim trunks. He
- 55:57Speaker 10: pulled me aside and told me not to ever bears
- 56:00Speaker 10: him like that again. He's been ignoring me for days.
- 56:03Speaker 10: I know my behavior was out of character. So how
- 56:06Speaker 10: do I fix this?
- 56:07Speaker 13: Those females are a bad influence. I hope that we
- 56:10Speaker 13: can work things out. Do you think I've lost him
- 56:13Speaker 13: to his friends? Well, you never had him from his friends.
- 56:18Speaker 13: He never left his friends.
- 56:19Speaker 10: He just added you to his mix, and you became
- 56:22Speaker 10: part of what he already had going on, and you
- 56:25Speaker 10: never did anything.
- 56:26Speaker 13: Differently, So it's the friends, and then it's you. That's
- 56:29Speaker 13: how it is. You're not number one in his life.
- 56:32Speaker 13: He doesn't consider your feelings, he doesn't consider your position.
- 56:35Speaker 10: As his wife in his life. That should be number
- 56:37Speaker 10: one at all times. You don't have to fix anything.
- 56:40Speaker 10: You didn't do anything. You've been dealing with this mess
- 56:43Speaker 10: for twenty five years. He's been with you and with
- 56:47Speaker 10: them for that long. You said you met them when
- 56:49Speaker 10: you met him twenty five years ago. How dare he
- 56:53Speaker 10: try to flip it on you and try to make
- 56:55Speaker 10: you the problem, and now he's ignoring you. You are
- 56:57Speaker 10: not the problem. You just should have spoken up and
- 57:00Speaker 10: not allowed this a long time ago. He and his toxic,
- 57:04Speaker 10: disrespectful relationship with these so called female friends, that's the problem.
- 57:08Speaker 10: So you need to stop being okay with him going
- 57:11Speaker 10: over there and drinking and partying and playing cards all night. Okay,
- 57:15Speaker 10: that's what you need to do, and stop allowing him
- 57:17Speaker 10: to make you feel like you did something to him,
- 57:20Speaker 10: because who was going to be skinny dipping with the
- 57:23Speaker 10: white girls?
- 57:23Speaker 13: What were they there for? Okay?
- 57:25Speaker 10: And he was already in his trunks. He's got a
- 57:27Speaker 10: lot of explaining to do. He can stay over there
- 57:30Speaker 10: with his female friends and the swimming trunks, or come
- 57:32Speaker 10: home and be a husband.
- 57:33Speaker 1: To you, Steve.
- 57:35Speaker 8: We'll get to this white girl in a minute, because
- 57:37Speaker 8: that's what really what this whole damn letter about to you.
- 57:43Speaker 9: We'll get to the white girl in the minute, cause
- 57:45Speaker 9: I'm telling you right now that where the white girl
- 57:47Speaker 9: comes from, because that's what it is. I have told
- 57:50Speaker 9: y'all over and over and over about these female friends. Yeah,
- 57:56Speaker 9: about friends of the opposite sex. I have told you
- 57:59Speaker 9: all of about this, over and over and over again.
- 58:02Speaker 9: I don't know why y'all think uncle Steve had lost
- 58:05Speaker 9: his damn mind. Well, Steve, you just oh, okay, all right, okay,
- 58:11Speaker 9: I'll accept that, Steve. It ain't like that no more.
- 58:15Speaker 9: A lot of stuff ain't like it is. But it's
- 58:18Speaker 9: some things don't ever change. Now, I got all of
- 58:22Speaker 9: that what y'all saying about me. But I have told
- 58:24Speaker 9: y'all about these friends. Now, you've been married twenty two years.
- 58:30Speaker 9: You've been struggling with my husband's two female friends for
- 58:33Speaker 9: twenty five years. That's the day you met him, was
- 58:37Speaker 9: twenty five years ago. You met him at an alumni ball,
- 58:41Speaker 9: and both of them girls was his dates. They had
- 58:47Speaker 9: to approve of me before we got serious with each other.
- 58:52Speaker 8: Girl, What.
- 58:58Speaker 9: You ain't talking about his mama, You ain't talking about
- 59:02Speaker 9: his sister. You're talking about these two chicks. Now hear
- 59:08Speaker 9: the crazy part Their husbands, the two females girls husbands
- 59:14Speaker 9: have accepted my husband's as their wives bonus husband. I
- 59:20Speaker 9: never liked it, but I never said anything about it.
- 59:22Speaker 9: Now I'm a little bit confused now because this is
- 59:24Speaker 9: not black activity. This is complete black activity. I'm starting to,
- 59:31Speaker 9: you know, in the words of Robin Thick, blurred lines,
- 59:34Speaker 9: we were dealing with some blurred lines here, because now
- 59:37Speaker 9: I'm starting to see what he a little later on
- 59:39Speaker 9: when the white girls was in the bikinis. Now I'm
- 59:42Speaker 9: starting to see where the white girl came from. Somebody,
- 59:46Speaker 9: somebody introduced that element to it, because I don't know
- 59:52Speaker 9: no black dudes that's cool with their wife having a
- 59:58Speaker 9: bonus husband.
- 1:00:01Speaker 8: Boy, what.
- 1:00:05Speaker 9: Man, you must have have lost your rabbit mind. So
- 1:00:11Speaker 9: and many nights for years, your husband been partying over
- 1:00:14Speaker 9: at one of their house. He never invited you to
- 1:00:16Speaker 9: the parties because he said they'd be drinking and playing cars,
- 1:00:19Speaker 9: and you'll drink or play cars and that's what he
- 1:00:20Speaker 9: say loved about you. And now you done got this
- 1:00:23Speaker 9: app to track your teenagers. Hit the part I like
- 1:00:25Speaker 9: in case of emergency. I added my husband to the app,
- 1:00:28Speaker 9: and I forgot to tell him. You just said damn
- 1:00:31Speaker 9: that you don't well right.
- 1:00:35Speaker 10: Hang on, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
- 1:00:38Speaker 10: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's
- 1:00:40Speaker 10: Strawberry letter subject I went to her house to get
- 1:00:43Speaker 10: my husband back after.
- 1:00:45Speaker 13: This, you're listening hard morning show.
- 1:00:48Speaker 10: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:00:51Speaker 10: The subject is I went to her house to get
- 1:00:53Speaker 10: my husband.
- 1:00:54Speaker 9: Yeah, well, all right, She's got this lady that's been
- 1:00:58Speaker 9: in this relationship twenty five years with this man, been
- 1:01:01Speaker 9: married twenty two. She met him at an alumni ball
- 1:01:05Speaker 9: and his date was these two female friends that she
- 1:01:08Speaker 9: has a problem with. They've been friends this whole times.
- 1:01:12Speaker 9: Both of these girlfriends have husbands. The husbands have accepted
- 1:01:17Speaker 9: this woman's husband as their bonus husband. Now that throws
- 1:01:22Speaker 9: me off because that black people don't do that.
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: I'm gonna be over listen to me. That is really
- 1:01:30Speaker 8: nothing black people do. But you know, times have changed.
- 1:01:33Speaker 9: You know it's different now, Stephen, it might be different,
- 1:01:36Speaker 9: but I tell you what they at different. These friends,
- 1:01:38Speaker 9: I keep telling y'all about I play long.
- 1:01:42Speaker 8: So they've accepted him as a bonus husband.
- 1:01:44Speaker 9: And she always go over their house to party, and
- 1:01:46Speaker 9: he say, they go over there and they be drinking
- 1:01:48Speaker 9: and playing cards. She's never invited to come over there
- 1:01:52Speaker 9: because she don't drink or play cards. And he told
- 1:01:54Speaker 9: her that's what he loved about her. So that's always
- 1:01:58Speaker 9: created a problem. Now recently, she says, she started using
- 1:02:02Speaker 9: this app so she could track their teenagers and I
- 1:02:05Speaker 9: forgot to end, but she added her husband to the app,
- 1:02:08Speaker 9: and I forgot to tell him, Yeah, that's not true.
- 1:02:15Speaker 9: You know what women don't do forget? Then you know
- 1:02:21Speaker 9: that's what I think women don't do.
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: Forget.
- 1:02:28Speaker 9: Oh, I forgot to tell you, dog, women don't forget nothing.
- 1:02:35Speaker 9: They don't forget nothing done. So that was a bold
- 1:02:38Speaker 9: face life, But did she say? But it worked in
- 1:02:41Speaker 9: my favor. It was late, My husband wasn't home yet,
- 1:02:45Speaker 9: so I located him on the app. He was at
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: one of the female friends' houses. I got up and
- 1:02:50Speaker 9: I went to get him. The back door was unlocked
- 1:02:53Speaker 9: and I walked in, I saw my husbands, the ladies
- 1:02:58Speaker 9: they husband, and I counted eight more people. They were
- 1:03:04Speaker 9: all in swimsuits and one one of the white girls,
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: which means that was more. One of the white girls said,
- 1:03:16Speaker 9: they're about to go skinny dipping in the lake. Skinny
- 1:03:22Speaker 9: dipping is naked, right, there's a lake behind the house.
- 1:03:29Speaker 9: But the water is very nasty. It's nasty to you.
- 1:03:37Speaker 9: But if it's dark outside, it just looked like water.
- 1:03:42Speaker 9: My husband said it wasn't true, but he had on
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: his swim trunk. Boy, you're sitting up that damn nil
- 1:03:51Speaker 9: in your drawers with this white girl, one of the
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: white girls, and said, y'all was good enough. He pulled
- 1:04:02Speaker 9: me outside and told me, don't you ever embassed me
- 1:04:06Speaker 9: like that again? Wow, good move, dog, because the best
- 1:04:09Speaker 9: defense is a good offense. That's what you were supposed
- 1:04:11Speaker 9: to do. But can I tell you how dead wrong
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: you are, Broa, And I'm not going to be able
- 1:04:17Speaker 9: to save you on this one. Because you were sitting
- 1:04:20Speaker 9: up there in your swimming trunk. I thought y'all was
- 1:04:22Speaker 9: drinking and playing card. How's everybody in the house? I
- 1:04:25Speaker 9: walk in half nked, and then guess what he's been
- 1:04:31Speaker 9: ignoring me for days.
- 1:04:32Speaker 15: Now.
- 1:04:32Speaker 8: Guess what this woman did. I know my behavior was
- 1:04:35Speaker 8: out of character, So how do I fix this?
- 1:04:39Speaker 14: Then?
- 1:04:39Speaker 9: Guess what she said? Those females are bad influence. I
- 1:04:44Speaker 9: hope we can work things out. Do you think I've
- 1:04:47Speaker 9: lost him to his friends? Sureley said, you ain't never
- 1:04:50Speaker 9: had it. You haven't lost him to the friends. You
- 1:04:55Speaker 9: never had him because of the friends. He didn't give
- 1:04:58Speaker 9: up nothing to have to be with you. He didn't
- 1:05:00Speaker 9: have to give up nothing.
- 1:05:02Speaker 8: He kept his same.
- 1:05:03Speaker 9: Lifestyle, everything. He didn't change anything to be with you.
- 1:05:07Speaker 9: He made you accept what he was about. And he
- 1:05:10Speaker 9: wasn't about to change. He wasn't giving up the two friends.
- 1:05:13Speaker 9: Now twenty two years you donet went over to the house.
- 1:05:16Speaker 9: They all got on swimsuits. Man, can you imagine being
- 1:05:20Speaker 9: somewhere and your spouse walk in and you sit up
- 1:05:23Speaker 9: in a room with two other couples and eight more
- 1:05:25Speaker 9: people and from white girls, and they got on swimsuits
- 1:05:29Speaker 9: and they're talking about pulled me outside, talking about don't
- 1:05:32Speaker 9: you ambarrass me like this?
- 1:05:33Speaker 8: Hell is your clothes at that's so crazy?
- 1:05:37Speaker 13: Basically in your underwear you really.
- 1:05:39Speaker 8: Are And the white girl said, we find to go
- 1:05:41Speaker 8: outside and skinny gift.
- 1:05:42Speaker 9: That's not true. I was not going nowhere. But what
- 1:05:46Speaker 9: you had your swimming trucks on t ain't got no pool.
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: Ain't no pool.
- 1:05:50Speaker 8: It's a lake.
- 1:05:52Speaker 12: Can you describe that scene one more time for more
- 1:05:54Speaker 12: what it looked like when you walked in?
- 1:05:56Speaker 8: She walk in. There's two couples in there.
- 1:06:02Speaker 9: One of the couples is in a mixed relationship, because
- 1:06:05Speaker 9: that's how the eight more people got over there. And
- 1:06:08Speaker 9: the white girls was there. Ain't no white girls just
- 1:06:13Speaker 9: showed up. Four black people are married.
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: Ain't that?
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: Don't that?
- 1:06:18Speaker 8: Ain't adding y'all right?
- 1:06:19Speaker 9: Right right, but somebody is in an inerracial relationship and
- 1:06:24Speaker 9: then brought this into the mix.
- 1:06:26Speaker 8: And your husband just over there, just clap it. He
- 1:06:28Speaker 8: can't believe you walked up in there.
- 1:06:30Speaker 9: Everybody got on swim suits, your husband got on swimming trunks.
- 1:06:34Speaker 9: He ready to go down to the lake. Yes, he
- 1:06:37Speaker 9: is in that nasty water all right. Up the Great

- 1:07:52Speaker 11: hadn't said he's not gonna retire. Doesn't that he had
- 1:07:55Speaker 11: said anything, but.
- 1:07:57Speaker 12: Uh, this is his third concussion.
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: This is the third one.
- 1:08:00Speaker 12: It was anny of l career. Are we looking at
- 1:08:02Speaker 12: this as like it's time just go ahead and hang it?
- 1:08:04Speaker 15: Up.
- 1:08:05Speaker 8: There's why I think he's got to think about that.
- 1:08:07Speaker 14: I actually, you know, I told y'all that I thought

- 1:08:19Speaker 8: to talk to his kids when he thirty one, I
- 1:08:22Speaker 8: think I'd get out. Yeah.
- 1:08:24Speaker 11: It's just like, you just want to take this time

- 1:08:28Speaker 11: got some to prove.
- 1:08:29Speaker 12: You ain't have to prove nothing.

- 1:08:35Speaker 11: done well. He got a great gun track.
- 1:08:38Speaker 8: He had no great career.

- 1:09:12Speaker 11: the age for for contact sports for for youth, like
- 1:09:15Speaker 11: for them to play full contact sports such as football
- 1:09:18Speaker 11: because of these CTE injuries and these concussions. Is that
- 1:09:23Speaker 11: something we can look at because it's his third one
- 1:09:27Speaker 11: and he ain't the only one that.
- 1:09:31Speaker 12: Though, Yeah, yeah, I understand.
- 1:09:34Speaker 8: I mean my sports or you're gonna do medicine.

- 1:09:43Speaker 9: That's all I'm just I'm just trying to figure out
- 1:09:47Speaker 9: how they tied to your kids though, because you.
- 1:09:50Speaker 11: Don't like kids that that are playing contact sports they
- 1:09:53Speaker 11: getting concussions too.
- 1:09:54Speaker 12: Should we raise the age on this? She was like,
- 1:09:56Speaker 12: if you at nine teen, ain't that too young? Just
- 1:09:58Speaker 12: play flag football till get older.
- 1:10:01Speaker 8: No, I mean we all played junior, my son playing

- 1:20:35Speaker 10: All right, So Steve before you get to your closing remarks,
- 1:20:38Speaker 10: you do have a voicemail from a guy in Pennsylvany,
- 1:20:41Speaker 10: in Pennsylvania, in Pasadena, California, take a listen.
- 1:20:44Speaker 15: Hell, ChRI Steve, just real quick, man, because somebody just
- 1:20:48Speaker 15: reminded me and you was talking about you know what
- 1:20:50Speaker 15: I'm saying, you never gonna have all your ducks in
- 1:20:52Speaker 15: the row. You never gonna have like it's never gonna
- 1:20:55Speaker 15: be the perfect time. You just got to do it
- 1:20:57Speaker 15: right now to stop crashing. You was telling us something
- 1:21:00Speaker 15: and also about saying to yourself, I am great, I
- 1:21:04Speaker 15: am a mover and shaker. I am you know, he
- 1:21:08Speaker 15: was motivating us man with these things that you were saying.
- 1:21:12Speaker 15: And I'm telling you that's we need to hear that,
- 1:21:14Speaker 15: I think every day from you. Just to add that
- 1:21:18Speaker 15: to part of your thing. You know what I'm saying,
- 1:21:20Speaker 15: Just tell him, like you know what, the God God
- 1:21:22Speaker 15: would love to hear from you, so you know, talk
- 1:21:24Speaker 15: to God today. You added that also, you know what
- 1:21:27Speaker 15: I'm saying. Remember, I am great, I am a mover
- 1:21:30Speaker 15: and a shaker, I am motivated, I am you know, energized.
- 1:21:34Speaker 15: All that stuff. Man, It do make a difference to
- 1:21:37Speaker 15: how people they go and it's gonna it's gonna put
- 1:21:39Speaker 15: it to say, you know that stuff work. So God
- 1:21:41Speaker 15: bless you man and Dolphin Pasadena.
- 1:21:43Speaker 7: I love you and everybody you know.
- 1:21:45Speaker 15: After Steve Harvey Morning Show and everybody is Steve Harvey
- 1:21:49Speaker 15: Nation Baby, I'm out at Dolphin Pasadena.
- 1:21:53Speaker 9: Hey, you know something, man, that's a great closing remark
- 1:21:57Speaker 9: because I really appreciate you saying that, brother, because often
- 1:22:00Speaker 9: times on the radio, you don't really know the effect
- 1:22:03Speaker 9: that you have because we don't get instant response on radio.
- 1:22:09Speaker 8: We do our radio show.
- 1:22:10Speaker 9: You know, we might catch something on the comment or
- 1:22:13Speaker 9: the voicemail or the email bag or something like that,
- 1:22:17Speaker 9: but we don't get It's not like when you perform
- 1:22:19Speaker 9: as a stand up you walk out on stage, you
- 1:22:22Speaker 9: get instant reaction, you get instant gratification. So I do
- 1:22:27Speaker 9: appreciate you saying that. I try to encourage people because
- 1:22:32Speaker 9: what you have to remember that words have power. Your
- 1:22:39Speaker 9: words manifest themselves in your life. So you have to
- 1:22:45Speaker 9: take control of the words that come out your mouth
- 1:22:50Speaker 9: because when you put it in the universe, the universe
- 1:22:54Speaker 9: does not differentiate.
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: The universe just reacts to the words. Man. I done
- 1:23:02Speaker 8: got up on the wrong side of the bed.
- 1:23:05Speaker 9: The universe has to justify that statement for you, and
- 1:23:09Speaker 9: it has to show you things that will verify that
- 1:23:15Speaker 9: you've gotten up on the wrong side of the bed.
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: You gotta be careful what you say.
- 1:23:19Speaker 9: The reason I speak prosperity into my life, the reason
- 1:23:24Speaker 9: I constantly talk positivity into my life because that's what
- 1:23:28Speaker 9: I want to attract. Muhammad Ali said, I said I
- 1:23:34Speaker 9: was the greatest before I was the greatest, he spoke
- 1:23:37Speaker 9: that into his life. You can speak your life into existence.
- 1:23:44Speaker 9: The Bible says a man is as he thinkth what
- 1:23:50Speaker 9: you thinks comes out your mouth. You can manifest stuff
- 1:23:54Speaker 9: in your life. Man Like I was watching this thing
- 1:23:58Speaker 9: online and it it is so amazing. How you can pray.
- 1:24:04Speaker 9: You have to be careful what you ask God for
- 1:24:06Speaker 9: because He will give it to you. It's okay to
- 1:24:10Speaker 9: pray for yourself. It's kay to say God, bless me
- 1:24:15Speaker 9: and bless me. Indeed, there's a scripture that says bless
- 1:24:18Speaker 9: me and bless me. Indeed, do you know what that means?
- 1:24:21Speaker 9: When you say bless me? Indeed, that means bless me
- 1:24:24Speaker 9: a lot. You can ask God to bless you a lot.
- 1:24:28Speaker 9: You don't have to just pray for other people, pray
- 1:24:31Speaker 9: my strength and the lawd you get to actually pray
- 1:24:33Speaker 9: for yourself. You can ask God to bless you and
- 1:24:36Speaker 9: bless you indeed and then say say what it is.
- 1:24:42Speaker 9: I am prosperous, I am healthy, I am disciplined, I
- 1:24:49Speaker 9: am successful, I am happy in Jesus' name, and when
- 1:24:55Speaker 9: I'm okay. So now we're getting real deep into what
- 1:24:57Speaker 9: I really believe. If you attach in Jesus' name to something,
- 1:25:01Speaker 9: do you understand what you are saying? Do you understand
- 1:25:06Speaker 9: that if you are a Christian this is Christian faith.
- 1:25:08Speaker 9: If you're not Christian, I'm not talking to you. If
- 1:25:11Speaker 9: you are of the Christian faith and you say that,
- 1:25:14Speaker 9: do you know what that does? And then the next
- 1:25:18Speaker 9: part of the prayer is to ask Him, when he
- 1:25:21Speaker 9: gives you this not to not to leave you alone,
- 1:25:25Speaker 9: that you want to do all of this with him.
- 1:25:27Speaker 9: Everything I want to accomplish. I want to accomplish with
- 1:25:30Speaker 9: him all to my steps. Show me what to do,
- 1:25:35Speaker 9: Show me the thing that would be pleasing to you. See,
- 1:25:38Speaker 9: people don't like to say that. People don't like to
- 1:25:40Speaker 9: ask God to show me what's pleasing you because they
- 1:25:43Speaker 9: think it's gonna cut out some foolishness they got in mind.
- 1:25:46Speaker 8: I'm just gonna keep it real with you.
- 1:25:49Speaker 9: Oftentimes I wouldn't ask God to let his will be
- 1:25:52Speaker 9: done in my life because I thought it was gonna
- 1:25:54Speaker 9: cut out some foolishness I wanted to do.
- 1:25:56Speaker 8: But that ain't hard work.
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: Man.
- 1:25:58Speaker 8: You gonna do some ignorant mass anyway, because you're human.
- 1:26:02Speaker 9: He already know that. That's why he gave you grace
- 1:26:05Speaker 9: and faivor. And then the last part of the prayer
- 1:26:08Speaker 9: is I ask God to protect me from my enemies,
- 1:26:13Speaker 9: to keep evil away from me and my family. Now,
- 1:26:16Speaker 9: that don't mean that they not gonna attack you. That
- 1:26:19Speaker 9: ain't what it means when you ask. When you ask
- 1:26:22Speaker 9: him to keep it away, it just means to cover
- 1:26:24Speaker 9: you from it, to protect you from it. No weapon
- 1:26:27Speaker 9: formed against me. You're prospible. That don't mean ain't no
- 1:26:30Speaker 9: weapons gonna get farmed. Y'all, It's gonna happen. Quit tripping
- 1:26:35Speaker 9: on that. But you need to strift the courage and
- 1:26:37Speaker 9: the wisdom to endure it. Learn how to go to
- 1:26:40Speaker 9: God the right man. I ask God to bless me
- 1:26:43Speaker 9: all the time, bless me indeed, bless me with all
- 1:26:46Speaker 9: you got. And let me tell you, I want to
- 1:26:48Speaker 9: be great. I want to be great, but I don't
- 1:26:50Speaker 9: want to be great without you though all of my steps,
- 1:26:53Speaker 9: and fix me and then cover me.
- 1:26:56Speaker 8: I do that all the time. Man.
- 1:26:57Speaker 9: You miss me with all this other thing, And that's
- 1:26:59Speaker 9: why I'm help people all the time. You can come
- 1:27:01Speaker 9: from me if you want to, but I want you
- 1:27:02Speaker 9: to understand I ain't over here by myself. Those are
- 1:27:05Speaker 9: my closing remark. And like my man said, hey, y'all
- 1:27:07Speaker 9: talk to God today. He'd loved to hear from me.
- 1:27:09Speaker 9: It don't matter if you ain't talk to him in
- 1:27:11Speaker 9: a while either, but get yourself relationship with God man
- 1:27:14Speaker 9: starting now.
- 1:27:15Speaker 8: Go talk to God. Y'all have a good one. We'll
- 1:27:17Speaker 8: see it.
