- 1:31Speaker 4: I got to turn the mouth turn You probably got
- 1:44Speaker 4: to turn the mouth turn out ad the money up looking?
- 1:55Speaker 2: Come come on? You think that?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Uh huh, I sure will.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice, Come on,
- 2:07Speaker 2: dig me now, one and only. Steve Harvey got a
- 2:10Speaker 2: radio show. All Man back in business too, Man Man,
- 2:16Speaker 2: how good is God? I mean, really, if you think
- 2:18Speaker 2: about it in spite of all that's going down in
- 2:20Speaker 2: your life. First of all, it could be worse. But secondly,
- 2:25Speaker 2: sometimes you have to remember. And I've just had to
- 2:27Speaker 2: have this conversation with myself this morning. That's how I'm
- 2:32Speaker 2: fresh on this one right here. When a challenge faces you,
- 2:36Speaker 2: are you going through a difficult moment, or you didn't
- 2:39Speaker 2: hit a bump in the road in the middle of that,
- 2:42Speaker 2: If you could manage to be grateful, it would take
- 2:45Speaker 2: you a long way. Gratitude is a powerful resource if
- 2:51Speaker 2: you can be grateful in the middle of it. Gratitude
- 2:55Speaker 2: is a powerful resource when it's dim for you. And
- 3:00Speaker 2: got a little bumpy on the road, and he ran
- 3:03Speaker 2: into some obstacles. And you done ran up into some
- 3:05Speaker 2: detailed signs, and your journey ain't smooth as it was
- 3:09Speaker 2: last week or last year. You gotta be grateful for
- 3:15Speaker 2: the things that are going right and that have gone right.
- 3:20Speaker 7: And for the thing that's wrong right now to get right?
- 3:23Speaker 2: Man?
- 3:23Speaker 7: Can I share that with you?
- 3:25Speaker 2: Man? Is that a tough one to learn? It is
- 3:27Speaker 2: for me. It has been one of my toughest challenges
- 3:32Speaker 2: is to learn how to be grateful because it's a
- 3:35Speaker 2: powerful resource, but how to be grateful in moments of
- 3:39Speaker 2: despair when it ain't going right. See here's a mistake
- 3:42Speaker 2: I would make. See when something go wrong, I want
- 3:45Speaker 2: to focus on the wrong so much in an attempt
- 3:48Speaker 2: to fix it. But even then the focus ain't always
- 3:53Speaker 2: in to fix it. The focus becomes, Man, this is bad, man,
- 3:58Speaker 2: I can't believe this is happening. Why this keep going down?
- 4:02Speaker 2: That doesn't fix anything? You know, mealing over it, going
- 4:07Speaker 2: over what's wrong, explaining it, sharing it with your friends,
- 4:13Speaker 2: you know, making it sound worse than it is. Tell
- 4:17Speaker 2: the story for pity from other people. All of that, right,
- 4:20Speaker 2: that has nothing to do with the fix. Sometimes you're
- 4:23Speaker 2: just mulling over it. You're just making it worse. You're
- 4:26Speaker 2: just making it a bigger problem. You're manifesting it into
- 4:29Speaker 2: your atmosphere, You're putting it out there in your spirit. Now,
- 4:33Speaker 2: all of a sudden, it consumes your day. Next thing,
- 4:35Speaker 2: you know, you're having a bad day. If you're having
- 4:38Speaker 2: a bad day, it's because you've been having some bad thoughts.
- 4:42Speaker 2: So what I've had to learn how to do, and
- 4:44Speaker 2: what I'm working on this morning is I'm working on
- 4:47Speaker 2: the situation that then cropped up. I was going kind
- 4:50Speaker 2: of smooth here for a minute, and now then got
- 4:52Speaker 2: real bumpy in the road, you know, and all this here.
- 4:55Speaker 2: So what I'm thinking about now, though, is even though
- 4:58Speaker 2: I've hit a bump in the road, and even though
- 5:01Speaker 2: i done ran into a detour, and even though I've
- 5:05Speaker 2: hit this lull.
- 5:07Speaker 7: I'm going down into a valley, I ain't up on
- 5:09Speaker 7: the peak.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Can I not still be grateful for all the things
- 5:14Speaker 2: that God has given me, for all the things He's
- 5:17Speaker 2: done for me, for all the things He's brought me through,
- 5:21Speaker 2: And realizing that even this that's happening to me again,
- 5:25Speaker 2: is going to pass to He gonna get me through thattitude.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Come on, man, God is a good god man. It's
- 5:31Speaker 2: a lot to be grateful for. So while I'm tripping
- 5:34Speaker 2: on this bumping the road out and here, what I
- 5:36Speaker 2: gotta remember is all the things He's done for me.
- 5:39Speaker 2: And like I say, my saying is joint depression cannot
- 5:42Speaker 2: reside in the same place. So instead of being down
- 5:45Speaker 2: about this new bumping the road, if I'm constantly filling
- 5:48Speaker 2: my mind with the thoughts of how good He's been
- 5:51Speaker 2: to me, of what all he's done for me, of
- 5:54Speaker 2: all the things he's brought me through, of all the
- 5:57Speaker 2: blessings he's presented me with. When I go down that list,
- 6:00Speaker 2: I really don't have a lot of time to mull
- 6:04Speaker 2: over the situation. Now.
- 6:07Speaker 7: Do I have to fix this bump in the row?
- 6:10Speaker 7: Of course I do.
- 6:11Speaker 2: Are There's some things I'm going to have to do
- 6:13Speaker 2: to straighten it out, of course it is. But Steve
- 6:16Speaker 2: just going to get the business of doing it and
- 6:18Speaker 2: straighten it out. What you mulling over and worrying about
- 6:21Speaker 2: it for you know, old people. I heard old people
- 6:23Speaker 2: say something when I was growing up in the church,
- 6:25Speaker 2: they say, if you're gonna pray about it, don't worry
- 6:27Speaker 2: about it. But if you're gonna worry about it, don't
- 6:30Speaker 2: pray about it. That's an amazing thing. And prayer just
- 6:34Speaker 2: happens to be my weapon of choice. Now, it ain't
- 6:37Speaker 2: always been that way. I want you to understand that
- 6:40Speaker 2: My first weapon of choice was you do it to me,
- 6:42Speaker 2: I do it to you. You called me out, I
- 6:45Speaker 2: call you out. You say something bad about me. I've
- 6:47Speaker 2: tried to find you say something bad about you. That
- 6:50Speaker 2: was my weapon in the past. How did that work
- 6:53Speaker 2: out for you, Steve? Not so good? Because you know what,
- 6:57Speaker 2: I spent a lot of time fighting back, kicking back,
- 7:02Speaker 2: swinging back, when I could have spent all that time climbing. See,
- 7:07Speaker 2: all you trying to do at the end of the day, folks,
- 7:09Speaker 2: is have a better life than the one you got.
- 7:11Speaker 2: All you trying to do is to improve your position
- 7:14Speaker 2: in life. You know, it's not my business to make
- 7:17Speaker 2: sure you don't get where you're going. I ain't got
- 7:19Speaker 2: no time for that. It's not my job to assure
- 7:23Speaker 2: that you ain't as high as me. I ain't got
- 7:25Speaker 2: no time for that. Your real mission and purpose is
- 7:29Speaker 2: to have the best life that you can have, to
- 7:32Speaker 2: ascend to the highest plateau that you can get to,
- 7:36Speaker 2: to make your family as comfortable as you can, to
- 7:39Speaker 2: provide as much as you can for your family. But legally, see,
- 7:43Speaker 2: those of us are sitting up here trying to come
- 7:45Speaker 2: up with sideways. You can ask a couple million men
- 7:48Speaker 2: sitting in prison today how they wish they hadn't done that,
- 7:51Speaker 2: and they'll tell you, Oh, man, I wish I never
- 7:54Speaker 2: had did it. I knew not to go down there.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Something told me not to go down there. Man, if
- 8:00Speaker 2: I could change things, I would. But they sitting somewhere
- 8:04Speaker 2: doing some time that had they made another decision they
- 8:07Speaker 2: wouldn't have to do now that don't make them throw
- 8:10Speaker 2: away people, nah, man, Because everybody make mistakes, and God
- 8:14Speaker 2: is in the forgiving business. And some of us have
- 8:16Speaker 2: done some things that really broke the law, and a
- 8:20Speaker 2: whole lot of other things and deserve to do some time.
- 8:23Speaker 2: But through the grace of God, we didn't. But now
- 8:25Speaker 2: we sit up here and we pass judgment on people
- 8:27Speaker 2: who got to do some Now I don't care, I
- 8:29Speaker 2: don't care what you've done. God can forgive anything, but
- 8:32Speaker 2: our position our motivation in life is to try to
- 8:36Speaker 2: have the best life we can have and provide for
- 8:39Speaker 2: those around us and make it comfortable. If that's your ambition,
- 8:42Speaker 2: you don't have time to worry about or concern yourself
- 8:47Speaker 2: with another person. And I wasted time doing that, and
- 8:51Speaker 2: that's not the way to get it done. It's simply
- 8:54Speaker 2: mine to your business. Taking care of you and getting
- 8:57Speaker 2: yourself right and tight is twenty four seven, So that's
- 9:00Speaker 2: a full time job. So what I had to learn
- 9:03Speaker 2: was and what I've the reason I've chosen prayers as
- 9:07Speaker 2: my weapon of choice now is that now prayer helps
- 9:11Speaker 2: me that I don't have to fight back.
- 9:14Speaker 7: Now if I get cornered, I'm gonna fight you. I
- 9:18Speaker 7: ain't even gonna lie to you.
- 9:19Speaker 2: And now I'm still working on some things that trigger me,
- 9:23Speaker 2: you know, you know, you know, and and so I'm
- 9:28Speaker 2: I'm slowly getting better at that. But I've learned that
- 9:32Speaker 2: my weapon of choice is prayer now. So when it
- 9:36Speaker 2: happens ugly for me, I pray about it. When it
- 9:39Speaker 2: gets tight and dismal for me, I pray about it.
- 9:43Speaker 2: And the thing about prayer, man, is prayer changes things. Yes,
- 9:48Speaker 2: it does.
- 9:49Speaker 7: Now read about it and try it.
- 9:53Speaker 2: That's the deal.
- 9:53Speaker 7: Okay, come on, Prayer is a wonderful weapon.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen. Undivided attention is required at this particular
- 10:08Speaker 2: moment because as of no surprise, but then the constant
- 10:15Speaker 2: element of amazement, God has done it again, giving us
- 10:20Speaker 2: another day, another brand new shot, an opportunity of blessing,
- 10:24Speaker 2: a moment of grace and favor. Take advantage of it today,
- 10:27Speaker 2: y'all be grateful, Be grateful. God is good. Facts. Shirley
- 10:35Speaker 2: Strawberry called for real Mississippi Monica Junior and legend that
- 10:40Speaker 2: his nephew talking facts. I don't say nothing right today.
- 10:47Speaker 2: That's a fact. And also, yeah, let me say something. Man,
- 10:52Speaker 2: hold on one second, Junior, to all y'all people out
- 10:56Speaker 2: there is judging me, especially from the poor pit it. Hey, man,
- 11:02Speaker 2: do yourself a favor. Take me off your list of
- 11:05Speaker 2: things to do. I'm not a pastor. I ain't got
- 11:09Speaker 2: called to the ministry. The work I do on behalf
- 11:12Speaker 2: of God I do across the street. Now, for those
- 11:15Speaker 2: of you that's called to the ministry, just do you
- 11:18Speaker 2: quit talking about me and what I said?
- 11:21Speaker 7: I'm not perfect.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I don't claim to be, but I love God, and
- 11:26Speaker 2: God loved me, and I'm one of his favorites and
- 11:28Speaker 2: nothing you can say can stop that.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Now.
- 11:30Speaker 7: I just want to get that out the way, Junior,
- 11:31Speaker 7: what's on your mind? I just said what's on mind?
- 11:34Speaker 2: I'll tell you what I want to do this for
- 11:36Speaker 2: us this in a while.
- 11:38Speaker 7: That's what you need to I'll do it right now.
- 11:40Speaker 8: You remember, you says come on this radio in the morning,
- 11:43Speaker 8: and you first thing you say that he's sing this

- 11:45Speaker 1: Called I got it. I got it.
- 11:51Speaker 7: Look at him, I got it. Bet you want it too?
- 11:56Speaker 2: But I got it. What you need because I got it?
- 12:02Speaker 2: I got it, and look at him got it? Bet
- 12:10Speaker 2: you want some too?
- 12:11Speaker 5: But I got it.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Ain't on being mad at me because I I I
- 12:19Speaker 2: I got it. Look at him? What do you want?
- 12:24Speaker 1: Look got it?
- 12:27Speaker 7: Be body, look at him?
- 12:29Speaker 1: Got it.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Ain't a mean to being mad at me, but I
- 12:33Speaker 2: got it. You want it?
- 12:39Speaker 7: Ain't no need of hating cause I got it.
- 12:44Speaker 2: Laughed at you, I got it. Ain't no need of
- 12:49Speaker 2: hating me because I got it. Still got it. I
- 12:52Speaker 2: didn't hate it. You want it, but I got it?
- 12:57Speaker 2: But you can get some two comeaning, give it stop hayten,

- 15:12Speaker 1: uh uh your friend Chapel.
- 15:15Speaker 5: Yeah, Chopper just uh passed away last week, right, Yeah, Uh,
- 15:21Speaker 5: I know they supposed to have a funeral and stuff
- 15:23Speaker 5: over at uh at my Baptist church. And uh, I
- 15:27Speaker 5: don't really know you, but me and me and Chopper
- 15:30Speaker 5: and a bunch of the rest of us. Man, we
- 15:31Speaker 5: used to hang out at the club not too far
- 15:34Speaker 5: from the house.
- 15:34Speaker 2: You know.
- 15:34Speaker 7: That's pretty much where Chopper was all the time at
- 15:38Speaker 7: the club.
- 15:38Speaker 5: Anyway, what a bunch of us was over at the
- 15:40Speaker 5: club talking man, and I was, we was really want
- 15:43Speaker 5: to reach out to one of the family members, you know,
- 15:45Speaker 5: And then somebody said you was, you know, kind of
- 15:47Speaker 5: a good friend of his, and we we we we
- 15:52Speaker 5: decided to call you and see if you didn't mind.
- 15:55Speaker 5: Do you think that you can talk to some of
- 15:58Speaker 5: the family members and see if they don't mind having
- 16:02Speaker 5: the funeral at the club, at the club, see what
- 16:07Speaker 5: do Let me let me try to explain something to you, Jane.
- 16:10Speaker 1: What we're trying to do is, see, we believe that,
- 16:13Speaker 1: we believe you said.
- 16:15Speaker 6: At the club. Come on, the club is a funeral,
- 16:19Speaker 6: and that's what I understand it.
- 16:20Speaker 5: But see, see Choppel Choper ain't really go to church
- 16:24Speaker 5: a whole lot, you know what I'm saying. He ain't
- 16:25Speaker 5: really really go as long as I've been knowing him. Now,
- 16:28Speaker 5: he loved the Lord and.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Stuff like that.
- 16:30Speaker 6: Well, but these are church going folks.
- 16:34Speaker 1: I understand.
- 16:34Speaker 5: But see, Chapel wouldn't Chapel when Chopper went to the club.
- 16:38Speaker 5: So what I'm asking you is, let's have the funeral
- 16:41Speaker 5: at the club.
- 16:43Speaker 6: Hell, no, bro, come on, we can't have no funeral
- 16:46Speaker 6: at no club, man, Come on, no, no.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I can't.
- 16:50Speaker 5: But but what what I'm saying is dog, is that
- 16:53Speaker 5: he wasn't really he wasn't really no church going person.
- 16:57Speaker 5: I believe that a person ought to be uh uh.
- 17:00Speaker 5: The last words are to be said over him in
- 17:03Speaker 5: a place he's more familiar with.
- 17:05Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying, A player? Player? No, I don't.
- 17:08Speaker 6: I don't know what you mean. No, just just gotta
- 17:11Speaker 6: be a funeral. This, this is, this is church for
- 17:13Speaker 6: I go to church and all my folks go to church.
- 17:15Speaker 6: Now we got to this sing up in church? This
- 17:17Speaker 6: this is a church thing.
- 17:18Speaker 1: But you don't you don't feel But do you understand
- 17:20Speaker 1: where I'm coming from?
- 17:21Speaker 5: Know? There man ought have gone on and and the
- 17:24Speaker 5: last words are to be in a place he more
- 17:26Speaker 5: familiar with.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Now, if he went to church, then I understand.
- 17:28Speaker 6: That you said, oh bro, hell no no, See it's
- 17:32Speaker 6: his chance to get itself right. And we don't. We
- 17:35Speaker 6: don't have him up in church in front of everybody.
- 17:38Speaker 6: You know, that don't make sense? Who's this again? I mean,
- 17:42Speaker 6: who are you?
- 17:43Speaker 1: My name is Jerald, but who is Gerald?
- 17:45Speaker 2: I mean?
- 17:46Speaker 6: How do you? How do you relate to this? Are
- 17:47Speaker 6: you a preacher?
- 17:48Speaker 2: Or are you not?
- 17:50Speaker 5: You no, no, no, no, I'm I'm I was friends
- 17:53Speaker 5: with Chopper and Sae. I hung out at the club
- 17:55Speaker 5: and still hang out there with a whole bunch of us.
- 17:58Speaker 5: You know, was real good friends with Chop, and we
- 18:00Speaker 5: were saying that, you know, Chop was the last words
- 18:04Speaker 5: about Chapel or to be said at the club.
- 18:06Speaker 1: And see that's what Chopper was about, five six days
- 18:09Speaker 1: a week. That's what Chopper was.
- 18:11Speaker 6: Yeah, but what church are you affiliated with?
- 18:13Speaker 2: I mean, what, what?
- 18:14Speaker 6: Why the hell would I I try to talk to
- 18:17Speaker 6: the family, make me look stupid in front of the family,
- 18:20Speaker 6: telling them to put this thing in the club? How
- 18:22Speaker 6: that gonna go off? Well?
- 18:23Speaker 1: See, see that's what I'm saying.
- 18:25Speaker 6: You know them way more than we do, because you're
- 18:27Speaker 6: talking about trying to move from a funeral at a
- 18:30Speaker 6: church to a nightclub or a strip club or something.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Not no strip club, just a nightclub.
- 18:37Speaker 6: I mean you talking about having folks travel from across
- 18:41Speaker 6: the country and meeting in the club. What kind of that?
- 18:45Speaker 7: But that's what Chapel was.
- 18:46Speaker 1: That's what Chapel was.
- 18:48Speaker 6: How I'm gonna look if I'm the one telling them
- 18:51Speaker 6: to move to the club.
- 18:53Speaker 1: You're gonna look like somebody that's trying to.
- 18:54Speaker 6: I'm gonna look like a fool.
- 18:56Speaker 1: No you're not. You're gonna look like somebody's trying to
- 18:58Speaker 1: keep it real when come to the general if I
- 19:01Speaker 1: do something like that, Okay, okay, let me ask you
- 19:03Speaker 1: this hit in.
- 19:04Speaker 5: Let me ask you this here, Jane, do you think

- 27:10Speaker 9: Moving on to JJ and Pittsburgh, JJ writes, I'm fifty
- 27:13Speaker 9: nine years old and my gray hair bothers my husband.
- 27:16Speaker 9: He said, people think I look older than him. Now
- 27:19Speaker 9: I asked him who's judging me and saying it? And
- 27:21Speaker 9: he couldn't answer me.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Are other people saying that?
- 27:25Speaker 2: Or is he the one with the part everybody's saying it?
- 27:29Speaker 5: Is that?
- 27:30Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:32Speaker 7: And baby, what's the matter with the lord die?

- 27:47Speaker 2: You know, and if it's all going gray, it can

- 27:55Speaker 2: my gray and my mustance. You don't grow right, he
- 27:58Speaker 2: grows strangy. So it just looked like something on my face.
- 28:02Speaker 1: Mm hmm.
- 28:04Speaker 7: So I'm gonna get some just for men, yeah, and
- 28:07Speaker 7: fix it.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Uh huh.

- 28:11Speaker 2: to call it, just for them, just for y'all, just
- 28:17Speaker 2: just for everybody. You call it whatever you want to.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Just for your h If you had hair on your head,
- 28:23Speaker 1: if you had hair still, if it went gray, would
- 28:27Speaker 1: you die that?
- 28:28Speaker 5: No?
- 28:28Speaker 1: I wear a rock a little gray little yeah.
- 28:33Speaker 2: Yeah, a little gray on the side and stuff. Yeah.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's handsome. Junior. I mean, uh, are
- 28:43Speaker 1: you going to let your hair turn gray?
- 28:46Speaker 2: Is he gonna let Is he gonna let his hair gos?
- 28:49Speaker 2: The question you had to write letter, it's start with
- 28:52Speaker 2: it g If you don't ask him is he gonna
- 28:55Speaker 2: let it gray? Ask him is he gonna when? Is
- 28:57Speaker 2: he gonna let it go?
- 28:58Speaker 1: He might not be quite old enough for gray hair yet,
- 29:01Speaker 1: so that's why. Yeah, he's only in his forties, right.
- 29:05Speaker 7: Yeah, her hair.
- 29:07Speaker 2: But but here, let's let's find out if he thinks
- 29:11Speaker 2: he has the same amount he had lash, we have
- 29:15Speaker 2: to go there. You got some gray hair, Junior? Yeah,
- 29:20Speaker 2: great hair?
- 29:21Speaker 1: Okay, oh yeah, if you're if.
- 29:29Speaker 7: You well, let me ask you a question.
- 29:30Speaker 2: Jr. You say you have gray hair, yeah, okay, let
- 29:36Speaker 2: me ask you this a question. Where does it start?
- 29:41Speaker 2: Great gray grave? Where?
- 29:43Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 29:44Speaker 2: Where do you see the first strand it's like right
- 29:48Speaker 2: here right here.
- 29:49Speaker 7: Right well right were on the side under see how
- 29:54Speaker 7: far back? That ain't the side?
- 29:57Speaker 4: All right?
- 29:58Speaker 1: Okay, okay, look.
- 30:01Speaker 7: No, no, no, no, right there do that?
- 30:06Speaker 1: What did you want all these pitches now?
- 30:08Speaker 7: Because you don't see what we see?
- 30:10Speaker 1: It's great hair right there.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Thanks is one in tim. Y'all will look at you,
- 30:17Speaker 2: look at your phones.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Everybody, why are you coming up at the top of
- 30:22Speaker 1: the hour.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Thank you, l O.
- 30:25Speaker 1: We'll have some entertainment news for you.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Everybody see it. I don't see.
- 30:31Speaker 1: You're listening. Steve Hardy Morning Show.
- 30:38Speaker 9: Former NFL star Matt Khalil has gone viral after his
- 30:42Speaker 9: ex wife spoke about intimacy in their marriage. His ex
- 30:46Speaker 9: did a live stream interview and when asked about her
- 30:49Speaker 9: divorce from Matt, Hailey said she had a strong bond
- 30:52Speaker 9: with her husband, but he had one physical challenge that
- 30:56Speaker 9: could not be overlooked. Hailey hinted that Matt was too
- 31:00Speaker 9: large down there, but she never came right out and
- 31:03Speaker 9: said it. Haley said she was willing to try anything
- 31:06Speaker 9: to fix it, even if they had to see a
- 31:08Speaker 9: therapist or a doctor. She said Matt is like zero
- 31:13Speaker 9: point zero one percent of all men, and being intimate
- 31:18Speaker 9: with him was impossible. She said bedroom issues were their
- 31:22Speaker 9: biggest problem. After Haley Khalil's comments went viral. TMZ caught
- 31:27Speaker 9: up with her, and she said she was not trying
- 31:29Speaker 9: to harm her ex or embarrass him. So here's a
- 31:32Speaker 9: question for you, guys. Do you think married couples discussed
- 31:36Speaker 9: too much of their married business on social media and
- 31:39Speaker 9: on podcasts?
- 31:40Speaker 1: Is that with that too much?
- 31:42Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 31:42Speaker 2: She did that? Ain't the question?
- 31:44Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 31:45Speaker 1: You know how long she stood out the bedroom dough contemplating.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Going in there?
- 31:53Speaker 1: That's the question. I can't go ahead at night? Way
- 32:00Speaker 1: on his car?
- 32:01Speaker 9: Yeah, it was a two much, I think, so yeah, yeah,
- 32:07Speaker 9: we didn't need to know.
- 32:09Speaker 1: No, we don't need to be in your bedroom. We don't.
- 32:12Speaker 7: Yeah, I'll tell you what is your sleep?
- 32:16Speaker 2: What sleep?
- 32:18Speaker 1: Please be sleep talking?
- 32:19Speaker 7: What's the football player name?
- 32:22Speaker 1: His name is Matt Khalil.
- 32:24Speaker 2: I'm gonna tell you right now. Though there's some people
- 32:27Speaker 2: looking for Mack right now.
- 32:31Speaker 1: I don't understand her plight. He's probably she didn't say
- 32:38Speaker 1: the opposite. Yeah, yeah, there you go.
- 32:44Speaker 9: That was a lot though. All right, moving on, there
- 32:47Speaker 9: is there is a new trend on TikTok. It's called
- 32:49Speaker 9: the everything shower. Okay, the everything shower, that's what it's called.
- 32:54Speaker 9: And thousands of people are spending up to an hour
- 32:57Speaker 9: in the shower these days. Why shaving and letting the
- 33:01Speaker 9: hot water massage their bodies.
- 33:03Speaker 1: They liking it. They liken it to a daily spa treatment.
- 33:07Speaker 9: Dermatologists, however, are warning that too much time in water
- 33:11Speaker 9: is just not good for the body. Experts say that
- 33:14Speaker 9: overwashing can cause redness, dryness, and itching, and it can
- 33:19Speaker 9: cause damage to the skin barrier, which can make your
- 33:22Speaker 9: skin look old prematurely, and you don't want that. Ideally,
- 33:27Speaker 9: a shower should be no more than five to ten minutes,
- 33:29Speaker 9: they say, and that should sufficiently clean the body. So
- 33:33Speaker 9: you know who I'm going to for this question. Do
- 33:36Speaker 9: you know the German Poe Tommy? We know you have
- 33:40Speaker 9: told us you take at least three showers a day.
- 33:42Speaker 9: You've told us this now, so are you how long
- 33:46Speaker 9: are you staying in the shower.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Three each time?
- 33:51Speaker 5: So I'm underneath the rate of three times a day though,
- 33:56Speaker 5: that's right. But what I'm not finish what I'm not
- 34:01Speaker 5: I'm still not going to be nasty for y'all. I'm
- 34:03Speaker 5: not gonna do it.
- 34:04Speaker 1: Nobody's saying that, Okay, I'm just saying I'm not just
- 34:08Speaker 1: because y'all got this little story up, No.
- 34:09Speaker 7: Man, what height have to do with this?
- 34:11Speaker 2: Inquestion? I'm asked anybody saying, upout no height, what is
- 34:15Speaker 2: you talking about? You under the radarf for what?
- 34:22Speaker 1: Miss? Not at all.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Know all that now too much? Dem I not not
- 34:36Speaker 2: in there? They see me.
- 34:37Speaker 7: I ain't under the radar, all right.
- 34:43Speaker 1: That's like walking up three showers.
- 34:45Speaker 2: That's like walking up to the quick trip counter to
- 34:48Speaker 2: buy some scratching peel and scratch lot of tickets. But
- 34:53Speaker 2: you so short now they can't see who at the
- 34:55Speaker 2: county you got past the man a note.
- 34:57Speaker 1: So going to nineteen and the twenty eighth, what why
- 35:04Speaker 1: do you take three showers a day? Three? I get two? Maybe?
- 35:08Speaker 5: Okay, okay, let's let's let's walk through it. Okay, we
- 35:11Speaker 5: get up and we do radio every morning, so I want.
- 35:14Speaker 2: To take it. I want to take a shower in
- 35:15Speaker 2: the morning because that's gonna help me wake.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Up right, keep it fresh. I got you right alert.
- 35:20Speaker 1: So now let's say, y'all know when I get through,
- 35:22Speaker 1: When we get through.
- 35:23Speaker 2: I know them to go running, so right, that's true.
- 35:26Speaker 1: After that, I'm gonna take another shower after that, right,
- 35:30Speaker 1: So you work out yeah, late in the evening. I
- 35:33Speaker 1: just want another shower before I go to bed before.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Okay, what you in the bed that requires another shower
- 35:42Speaker 2: in the morning.
- 35:43Speaker 5: I'm doing what Big Matt. I'm doing what Big Matt
- 35:46Speaker 5: be doing. Whenever was that woman come in the bedroom.
- 35:48Speaker 5: That's what I'm doing, what Big Matt doing.
- 35:50Speaker 2: Ain't nobody went on line said that about you.
- 35:57Speaker 7: You not doing what Big.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Ally walked into it. Team, I'm doing a Big Matt
- 36:06Speaker 1: doing baby.
- 36:14Speaker 9: Three showers, but they're only they're only how many seven
- 36:18Speaker 9: minutes each?
- 36:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 36:21Speaker 5: Yeah, because I ain't that dirty, sir, because I keep
- 36:24Speaker 5: taking enough up. Yes, so on days you don't run
- 36:28Speaker 5: there we go, there we go enough.
- 36:30Speaker 2: I don't care like this.
- 36:32Speaker 5: I'm just asking we try out head telling me your
- 36:35Speaker 5: nasty behind. I don't know where I got it, saying
- 36:39Speaker 5: like you the you the shower up, the police or something.
- 36:43Speaker 5: What is this?
- 36:45Speaker 2: I get up in the morning sometime and ride my
- 36:47Speaker 2: bike before I do radio and just come in here, nasty.
- 36:55Speaker 7: Will Does he just come in here? Tell I got
- 36:59Speaker 7: to do with you.
- 36:59Speaker 1: I'm okay, thank you guys coming up at twice.
- 37:04Speaker 2: Wait, let's show stop.
- 37:05Speaker 9: Queen New York's made history as the first Muslim Indian
- 37:12Speaker 9: American mayor of New York. We'll talk about it right

- 37:57Speaker 9: New York City voters made history this week by electing
- 38:01Speaker 9: Zoran Mandanmi Mandani as mayor. He is the first Muslim
- 38:06Speaker 9: and Indian American to hold that position. Mary, like Mom Donnie,
- 38:10Speaker 9: is known for his activism and his focus on affordable
- 38:13Speaker 9: housing and transit reform. His message of inclusion, accountability, and
- 38:19Speaker 9: equity struck a chord with residents that voted for him.
- 38:23Speaker 9: Mandani is unseated. He unseated longtime political figures and established
- 38:29Speaker 9: himself as a voice for every day New Yorkers, not
- 38:33Speaker 9: just those with deep pockets. His campaign leaned heavily on
- 38:37Speaker 9: community engagement, with volunteers knocking on thousands of doors and
- 38:41Speaker 9: organizing rallies in every borough.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Yeah wow, his campaign.
- 38:47Speaker 7: Congratulations, he killed it.
- 38:49Speaker 11: Yeah yeah, he wonted kid it. Yeah yeah, yeah, sn
- 38:56Speaker 11: You know, it's a lot of people just tired of
- 38:59Speaker 11: the noise.
- 39:00Speaker 2: They want to change. That's how Trump got in in
- 39:03Speaker 2: the first place. Yeah, people are tired of the norm. Well,
- 39:09Speaker 2: now what you're tired of?
- 39:11Speaker 6: Now do you have?
- 39:17Speaker 2: And now you know, Trump was saying after they lost
- 39:20Speaker 2: all those racists Democrats, one of almost a clean sweeping
- 39:25Speaker 2: the racist he told him, he said, hey man, we
- 39:28Speaker 2: got to discuss what this really means, he said, because
- 39:32Speaker 2: he thinks that to shut down, you know, the y'all
- 39:36Speaker 2: and dog.
- 39:39Speaker 1: The president, quick solution, arack.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Make them come to work, you make everybody do what
- 39:46Speaker 2: you want to do. M But see what they thought
- 39:52Speaker 2: was they could blame this shut down on the Democrats
- 39:55Speaker 2: because Democrats didn't vote to keep it open. But y'all
- 39:59Speaker 2: got the House, in the Senate mm.
- 40:01Speaker 1: Hmmm, and the White House, so that's who run in
- 40:07Speaker 1: the government.
- 40:08Speaker 4: Mm hmm.
- 40:09Speaker 3: I saw a meme about the New York mayor, you
- 40:13Speaker 3: know how everybody's talking about there they were going to
- 40:15Speaker 3: leave and if they leave that and so I saw
- 40:18Speaker 3: this guy post something that said, we'll leave so we
- 40:21Speaker 3: can get these nice condos and they can.
- 40:26Speaker 1: I think it was like that, and I think it
- 40:29Speaker 1: was h.
- 40:31Speaker 9: Came Jeffreys that said that they're just out on vacation.
- 40:35Speaker 9: They're just out on paid vacation since the government has
- 40:38Speaker 9: shut down. Congress is just out vacationing.
- 40:42Speaker 1: But they get a check. Yeah, they're getting a check.
- 40:45Speaker 1: They're getting Yeah, they're paid.
- 40:48Speaker 2: All this shutdown don't affect them, right exactly telling people, man,
- 40:53Speaker 2: it don't. They don't care about you.
- 40:57Speaker 1: I mean, I think it's quite obvious now, Steve, I
- 41:00Speaker 1: think it is. It's thinking in Finally.
- 41:02Speaker 9: Yeah, all right, guys, we're gonna switch gears here and
- 41:06Speaker 9: bring up Roscoe Wallace next.
- 41:09Speaker 1: That's coming up thirty four minutes after. Right after this.

- 41:58Speaker 2: I got for you?
- 42:00Speaker 1: All right?
- 42:01Speaker 3: Well, let's do this quickly though. Let's give Monica little
- 42:03Speaker 3: birthday love. Yesterday was her birthday. You want to sing
- 42:05Speaker 3: Happy birthday to her?
- 42:06Speaker 2: Real quick? You know? I wrote a uh you know
- 42:09Speaker 2: years ago I had wrote another version of Happy Birthday.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Oh really, let's hear it?
- 42:15Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think it?
- 42:16Speaker 5: Uh it?

- 42:33Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we heard.
- 42:35Speaker 6: That was before.
- 42:38Speaker 7: I got a dude.
- 42:39Speaker 2: A dude stole it from it, a dude named Walter.
- 42:45Speaker 1: He stole it from you. You wrote it with Walter?
- 42:48Speaker 1: How did Walter get it? He stole it? But how
- 42:53Speaker 1: did he know you had it? How did that work?
- 42:56Speaker 1: You in the studio together?
- 42:57Speaker 2: Cause I wrote it. He saw me write it, he
- 42:59Speaker 2: picked up, took a copy of it. He stole it.
- 43:02Speaker 1: And then what happened? He gave it to Stevie. Wonder
- 43:06Speaker 1: what you mean?
- 43:06Speaker 2: He gave it to Steve one because.
- 43:08Speaker 3: You said we may have heard it, so that version.
- 43:10Speaker 3: Haven't you guys heard that version of Stevie Wonder's version?
- 43:13Speaker 13: Right?
- 43:14Speaker 2: Yeah? Now hold on, now, hold on that, letting that
- 43:19Speaker 2: drask Stevie and here you can't.
- 43:24Speaker 4: Song?
- 43:25Speaker 2: Is you gonna say Stevie TOOKI? Stevie can't even see? Well,
- 43:31Speaker 2: how he gonna take song?
- 43:32Speaker 7: He can't see?
- 43:34Speaker 3: You can sing?
- 43:35Speaker 2: He's a musical g somebody had to sing it to it,
- 43:41Speaker 2: even if even if the song was on peace of
- 43:43Speaker 2: paper sitting on the counter. Well, work, What good that
- 43:45Speaker 2: gonna do? Stevie?
- 43:46Speaker 1: You know what?
- 43:48Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 43:48Speaker 10: You know you?
- 43:49Speaker 9: I do know what?
- 43:51Speaker 2: Go ahead?
- 43:52Speaker 3: Have you heard about this AI generated songs? People are
- 43:57Speaker 3: now using a I to make songs that are on
- 44:01Speaker 3: the charts. They just use this program and it's called sono,
- 44:04Speaker 3: So you could just write something, pull out this program
- 44:09Speaker 3: and make a song. Artists are getting mad because they're
- 44:12Speaker 3: saying that this AI generated program they're making money.
- 44:16Speaker 2: What you well? What my main question?
- 44:18Speaker 13: You?
- 44:19Speaker 7: What are you asking me?
- 44:20Speaker 3: How do you feel about that? With technology change in
- 44:23Speaker 3: the music industry?
- 44:25Speaker 2: See thinking about technology? Technology can't do nothing with me? Really,
- 44:30Speaker 2: what does that mean I'm above technology. See y'all dealing
- 44:38Speaker 2: with AI. Uh huh, I'm still dealing with I am.
- 44:44Speaker 2: See y'all hold.
- 44:46Speaker 7: Nothing different right here?
- 44:46Speaker 2: See y'all all of them gave every day in the
- 44:48Speaker 2: whitefle y'all going with AI. Well see, I'm I'm rock
- 44:53Speaker 2: over all.
- 44:54Speaker 7: I mean is as I am.
- 44:57Speaker 4: See.
- 44:57Speaker 2: You can't take that away from me. I know I
- 44:59Speaker 2: wrote I wrote all of me his song, but that.
- 45:03Speaker 1: But that's what I'm saying. Okay, give me a song.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Give me a song you wrote for example.
- 45:09Speaker 2: You Hary can't name one.
- 45:10Speaker 4: I ain't.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Give me what you give me, Okay, Earth, wind, and fire.
- 45:18Speaker 1: That's the way of the world.
- 45:20Speaker 2: That's the way of the world.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Wrote that, Okay, Okay.
- 45:24Speaker 2: So I told you I don't know how you ain't
- 45:27Speaker 2: believe what you thought I was gonna say something, man,
- 45:29Speaker 2: Well that's what I'm saying.
- 45:30Speaker 1: So somebody could take that's the way of the world,
- 45:33Speaker 1: and then.
- 45:33Speaker 3: They can make an AI character generated and sing your
- 45:38Speaker 3: song and make money.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Can't do it.
- 45:40Speaker 1: Can't do it more.
- 45:42Speaker 2: Rege White has passed, right Abel one more Rege White.
- 45:47Speaker 2: So when you make that AI camp, who are you
- 45:49Speaker 2: finna make you? Ain't more Reese.
- 45:54Speaker 1: You they could create another character.
- 45:57Speaker 2: So you're telling me like they could put junior Junior
- 46:00Speaker 2: here and he sounds you like more.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Yeah, we gotta go roughly what I'm saying.
- 46:05Speaker 2: I'll tell you one thing, Junior, take your hat off.
- 46:08Speaker 9: You look like coming up next to the nephew and
- 46:12Speaker 9: today's prank phone call.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Thank you Roscoe, Thank you Carlo. Right after this, you're
- 46:17Speaker 1: listening to.
- 46:18Speaker 9: The Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at about four
- 46:25Speaker 9: minutes after the hour. It's my strawberry letter for today
- 46:28Speaker 9: and the subject is caught on camera. Yeah, we'll get
- 46:34Speaker 9: into that, find out what that's all about just a
- 46:36Speaker 9: few but right now it is time for the nephew.
- 46:40Speaker 9: You hear him with today's prank phone call. Nephew, what
- 46:42Speaker 9: you got for us today?
- 46:43Speaker 1: This is the.
- 46:44Speaker 5: Gyms Shirley g e m Gyms, God's As Ministry, God's
- 46:53Speaker 5: Ayes Ministry. Yes, yes, we're back at the church, God's
- 46:59Speaker 5: Eyes Industry. All right, let's go, cat Dog, if you
- 47:02Speaker 5: hould hello, I'm trying to read Clarence Clarence. How you doing, Clarence?
- 47:10Speaker 5: This is statists man. I'm over at the church, man,
- 47:12Speaker 5: my Baptist church where you're a member of right, Oh yeah, hey, okay, hey,
- 47:18Speaker 5: I'm with the gyms man and uh you you you
- 47:21Speaker 5: actually came to uh this past service, correct gems the gyms,
- 47:27Speaker 5: that's that's uh God's Eyes missionary and and basically what
- 47:32Speaker 5: we do is we watch what's going on you know
- 47:35Speaker 5: in the in the church, who's coming, who hasn't come?
- 47:40Speaker 5: And uh, you know, I don't mean any harm, but
- 47:42Speaker 5: this this if my records indicate me right through my
- 47:47Speaker 5: God's Eyes ministry the gyms looking at my books, looks
- 47:50Speaker 5: like you this is your first time at.
- 47:52Speaker 2: The church this year? Correct?
- 47:54Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean what can I do for you?
- 47:58Speaker 2: Okay?
- 47:58Speaker 5: Now when pastor asked for all the visitors to stand,
- 48:01Speaker 5: you actually did not stand?
- 48:03Speaker 2: Correct? No, no, remember because you remember? There we go.
- 48:06Speaker 5: Now you you still work for uh you you you
- 48:10Speaker 5: work for them? Yeah, okay. Now what we've done is
- 48:13Speaker 5: we've averaged it out that you.
- 48:15Speaker 6: What what is I mean, what is this about?
- 48:18Speaker 1: Okay, I'm on my way to it.
- 48:19Speaker 5: So so you probably are you averaging about what between
- 48:23Speaker 5: forty and fifty thousand dollars on a yearly basis.
- 48:26Speaker 13: Over there with I mean, I mean, yeah, something like that.
- 48:29Speaker 5: But go ahead problem, see what we're looking at since
- 48:33Speaker 5: since you are member, because see you did not stand
- 48:35Speaker 5: when he said all members said, you did not stand up,
- 48:38Speaker 5: which which you right there making the you know you're
- 48:42Speaker 5: you're you're clarifying that you are a member, and you
- 48:44Speaker 5: making about we're gonna roughly say bout forty five thousand
- 48:47Speaker 5: dollars a year, which means ten percent in forty five hundred.
- 48:51Speaker 5: Now we looked at the we looked at the books
- 48:54Speaker 5: and noticed that you put in fifty dollars in the
- 48:57Speaker 5: church on this past Easter on Sunday.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Now, if you put fifty dollars in, you know we're close.
- 49:03Speaker 5: See when you're gonna start cutting into this forty five
- 49:06Speaker 5: hundred dollars that you ought to.
- 49:08Speaker 7: Be paying your tithes?
- 49:10Speaker 6: Wait, what's your name?
- 49:12Speaker 5: Like I said, sir, my name is statius status. Will
- 49:15Speaker 5: a man rob God? Yet you have robbed me well
- 49:17Speaker 5: in tied that would offer see you you you you are?
- 49:20Speaker 6: Wait a minute, Hold on, hold a second. You got
- 49:23Speaker 6: you got all the stuff going on to the church.
- 49:25Speaker 6: You you got, you got hungry people, you got people
- 49:29Speaker 6: that need salvation and whatever. But you calling me about
- 49:33Speaker 6: about some money that I haven't given to the church.
- 49:35Speaker 13: Well, well see, and that's what your ministry does, y'all,
- 49:38Speaker 13: y'all spend all morning calling people.
- 49:40Speaker 5: My job, sir, as a gym God's Eyes ministry. My
- 49:46Speaker 5: job is to keep an eye on what's going on
- 49:49Speaker 5: at the church. Now, when are you gonna start cutting
- 49:52Speaker 5: into your tie? You forty five hundred dollars a day?
- 49:54Speaker 5: We see, this is why we can't get the extra
- 49:57Speaker 5: wing that pastor wants to put on, Because people like
- 50:00Speaker 5: this is why you know what.
- 50:03Speaker 6: Man, you got to hold on a second, first of all,
- 50:06Speaker 6: let me explain something to your brother, fatty, yourself, whatever
- 50:09Speaker 6: the ministry you are with. Okay, that's fine. Listen, Hey,
- 50:14Speaker 6: I don't even have to explain this to you, but
- 50:15Speaker 6: let me explain something to you. All right. I'm this
- 50:18Speaker 6: is a one job household. This is all we do.
- 50:20Speaker 6: This is the one job household. My wife don't work,
- 50:23Speaker 6: but my wife comes to church every Sunday and she
- 50:27Speaker 6: pays the tithes.
- 50:27Speaker 13: And have you checked at the gym ministry? Have y'all
- 50:30Speaker 13: looked at her ties?
- 50:32Speaker 5: Her ties ain't got nothing to do with you. You
- 50:36Speaker 5: understand you have to pay your ties. Will a man
- 50:40Speaker 5: rob God?
- 50:42Speaker 1: Yet you have robbed. You are robbing the Lord brother Criaris.
- 50:47Speaker 6: You know what, man? You know that's you know, and
- 50:49Speaker 6: you wonder why people don't come to church all the time.
- 50:51Speaker 6: You know, how do you go tell me that I
- 50:53Speaker 6: rob I could be giving my tithe somewhere else.
- 50:55Speaker 5: I am the secretary. I am the gym's secretary of
- 50:58Speaker 5: God's ministry. And our eyes have shown me that you've
- 51:02Speaker 5: only given fifty dollars. You're making forty five five one dollars.
- 51:06Speaker 6: Somebody from the church. I don't know if that is something.
- 51:10Speaker 6: I'll tell you that who is. Yes, I have, but
- 51:15Speaker 6: that's not none of their business. I know, I know,
- 51:18Speaker 6: I know.
- 51:18Speaker 13: What does it have to do with him calling people
- 51:20Speaker 13: and asking them if their payings?
- 51:22Speaker 6: I got this, I got this. Let me handle Yeah,
- 51:25Speaker 6: you know, I got it. I got it, I got it,
- 51:26Speaker 6: I got it. I got I know, I know. I
- 51:29Speaker 6: don't know who who who?
- 51:30Speaker 2: Who?
- 51:30Speaker 1: Who?
- 51:30Speaker 6: Who?
- 51:31Speaker 4: Who was that?
- 51:31Speaker 5: Sir?
- 51:32Speaker 6: That's my wife has been paying. That's my wife's been paying.
- 51:34Speaker 6: I died.
- 51:35Speaker 1: That's right, Okay.
- 51:38Speaker 5: I don't have nothing in my books that say y'all
- 51:42Speaker 5: paid three hundred dollars.

- 53:23Speaker 13: I don't give it.
- 53:24Speaker 1: You know what?
- 53:24Speaker 6: Let me say, I don't care anything about just your

- 56:51Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:52Speaker 9: I'm affording two year old married woman, but I've separated
- 56:55Speaker 9: from my husband. I've been married four years and I
- 56:58Speaker 9: was in a long distance marriage, which because my husband
- 57:01Speaker 9: works almost three hours away. He was offered a job
- 57:04Speaker 9: that he couldn't refuse, so I told him to take it.
- 57:08Speaker 9: With him being out of town during the week. I
- 57:10Speaker 9: got a home security system installed with four cameras. I
- 57:14Speaker 9: put one camera in the basement and one in the
- 57:17Speaker 9: main living area, one at the back door and one
- 57:20Speaker 9: at the front door. I put the alarm app on
- 57:23Speaker 9: my phone so I could watch the cameras while I
- 57:26Speaker 9: was at work On a Tuesday, about a month ago,
- 57:29Speaker 9: I was at work and I got an alert that
- 57:32Speaker 9: the alarm was going off. Then it was reset. It
- 57:36Speaker 9: sent chills up my spine because I was the only
- 57:38Speaker 9: one in town and the only person that could have
- 57:41Speaker 9: reset my alarm. I looked at the cameras and I
- 57:45Speaker 9: saw my husband in our basement and a woman was
- 57:49Speaker 9: with him. The woman sat down as my husband went upstairs.
- 57:54Speaker 9: He came back minutes later with his garment bag. Then
- 57:58Speaker 9: he kissed the woman and they walked out the basement door.
- 58:02Speaker 9: I called him, and he lied and said he was
- 58:04Speaker 9: at work and about to go to lunch and he
- 58:06Speaker 9: would call me back. I told him to quit lying
- 58:10Speaker 9: because I know he's in town and he had a
- 58:13Speaker 9: woman in our house. I asked him why he didn't
- 58:15Speaker 9: tell me he was in town, and why he would
- 58:17Speaker 9: bring a woman into my house.
- 58:20Speaker 1: He hung up on me. That night, he called and
- 58:23Speaker 1: said he had.
- 58:24Speaker 9: A business event to attend, so he needed his tucks,
- 58:27Speaker 9: and he used the basement door out of respect for.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Me, so the woman wouldn't be all over our home.
- 58:35Speaker 9: He said he was going to take some time away
- 58:37Speaker 9: from me to work on himself. It has been almost
- 58:41Speaker 9: a month since he's reached out to me, so I
- 58:44Speaker 9: filed for a legal separation.
- 58:46Speaker 1: Still no word from him. Is my marriage over?
- 58:51Speaker 6: Yes?
- 58:51Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but it is. It's over. I mean he
- 58:55Speaker 1: was caught red handed on tape. Period.
- 58:59Speaker 9: Everything you saw him that camera was true and real,
- 59:02Speaker 9: no matter what lies he thought of later and told
- 59:06Speaker 9: you he had a dinner to go to, so he.
- 59:09Speaker 1: Needed a text.
- 59:10Speaker 9: He had a business event to attend, so he needed
- 59:13Speaker 9: a tux, and he didn't want the woman all over
- 59:15Speaker 9: your house. Lies.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Lies, lies, lies, lies.
- 59:19Speaker 9: It's evidenced clearly in his behavior that you saw on tape,
- 59:23Speaker 9: not what he says.
- 59:24Speaker 1: So don't let him play you. Do not be fooled.
- 59:27Speaker 1: He came back to town, he didn't tell you.
- 59:29Speaker 9: Brought another woman to your house, kissed her in your house,
- 59:32Speaker 9: and then they left out together.
- 59:34Speaker 1: You're his wife.
- 59:35Speaker 9: He completely disrespected you. He betrayed your trust. I mean,
- 59:39Speaker 9: I'm sorry you had to see this and that you
- 59:41Speaker 9: had to go through this.
- 59:42Speaker 1: He's wrong.
- 59:43Speaker 9: You did a good thing by filing for a separation.
- 59:45Speaker 9: I say, just go on and finish up the deal.
- 59:48Speaker 9: File for a divorce. He was hardly ever there anyway,
- 59:51Speaker 9: and he's not coming back. You haven't heard from him
- 59:54Speaker 9: for a month, so I say, get out now, Steve.
- 59:58Speaker 2: I really don't understand this letter. Sorry, I don't caught
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: on camera to what we're talking about. Yeah, what's the
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: letter for? It starts off with obvious stuff in it.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: To me, steven Sherley, I'm a forty two year old
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: married woman, but I'm separated from.
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: My husband now.
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Curiously, in this letter, she never said why she was
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: separated from her husband.
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: But I'm separated from my husband.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: We all know what that means. And then she says,
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: I've been married four years and I was in I was,
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: so this separation is what they've decided. I was in
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: a long distance marriage because my husband works almost three
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: hours away and he was offered a job he couldn't refuse,
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: so I told him to take it. Now with him
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: being out of town, doing the weakest woman to put
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: a camera system in the house, in the basement, the
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: front door, the back, doing all this health and now
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: while you was at work on Tuesday, about a month ago,
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: she was and got an alert on the alarm was
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: going off.
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: Then it was reset.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Now, she said, since chills up her spine because I
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: was the only one in town and the only person
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: that could have reset my alarm. Well, you're not the
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: only person that could reset the alarm, because it got reset.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: I looked at the cameras and I saw my husband
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: in our basement and a woman was with him. The
- 1:01:23Speaker 2: woman sat down as my husband went upstairs. He came
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: back minutes later with his garment bag. Then he kissed
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: the woman and they walked out the basement door. I
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: called him, and he lied and said he was at
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: work and about to go to lunch and he would
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: call me back. That was the lie he told. That
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: was the only lie he told in his letter Share
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: because I'm going to surprise you. I'm going to surprise you, shirl.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: I told him to quit lying because I know he
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: was in town. He had a woman in our house,
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: and I asked him why he didn't tell me he
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: was in town and why he would bring a woman
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: into the house.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: He hung up on me.
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: That night, he called me and said he had a
- 1:02:01Speaker 2: business event to attend, so he needed his tucks, and
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: he used the basement door out of respect for me,
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: so the woman wouldn't.
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: Be all over a house.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: He said he was gonna take some time away from
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: me to work on himself. It's been almost a month
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: since he reached out to me. So I filed for divorce.
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: Still no word for him. Is my marriage over?
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: She filed for legal separation.
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Yeah, she filed for legal separation.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Yeah, that's why she'd.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Surely you were saying that he lied about coming home
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: with the tucks and all like this right here. Well,
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: he was on camera. He never denied that after he
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: found out he was on camera. But the reason he
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: came in the house could have very well been true
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: to get the tux Si. Though. No, that's because go
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: out the door. It could have been a Tuxi. It
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: could have been a business meeting. He told her the truth.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: The problem is the truth was enough. Yeah he was.
- 1:03:01Speaker 2: Oh I got more? We cook?
- 1:03:02Speaker 9: Okay, all right, we'll have part two of your response
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour. Subject
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: of today's strawberry letter caught on camera. We'll get back

- 1:03:55Speaker 9: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:58Speaker 9: The subject is caught on camera.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Caught on camera says it all. This woman put all
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: these cameras in her house. Her and her husband are
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: currently separated. She gets an alert on her phone that
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: says the candle alarm has been reset. Well. She thinking
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: her husband out of town, but he's in town. She
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: look on the cameras. He in the basement with a woman.
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: She calls him. He kisses her and walks out with
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: a gun back. He calls her and asks where he at.
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: He say he at work, fin to go to lunch.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: He lied, lie, he lied. So she called him up
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: and said, no, you wouldn't. I saw you in the
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: house with this woman, and you kissed her. Click, he
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: hung up. He hung up because he was off balanced,
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: because he needed to regroup. So he's busted. Yes, So
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: now he calls back that night and said, all right,
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: here the deal. I was in town. I had a
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: business meeting to go too, so I needed to come
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: home and get my tuxedo, and out of respect for you,
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: I didn't want this woman all over the house, so
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: I came through the basement too. That's the truth, because
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: he wasn't denying that there wasn't a woman at the house.
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: He wasn't denying he didn't pick something month. He only
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: left with a garment bag that was probably the tuxedo,
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: and it was probably business meeting. He did not lie
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: to her. The problem is the truth. You should believe
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: the truth is that what you saw, you saw it.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: Shirley's right. This marriage is over. Is my marriage over?
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: And you haven't heard from him in a month, but
- 1:05:44Speaker 2: I bet she has.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah, the woman he kissed in her house?
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: Yeah hell yeah, he's wrong, dead wrong. Is not her
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: fault in any way. But now that you know the truth,
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: I'm gonna do. It's time to move on. Is my
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: marriage over? Yes, it's over, So let me show you something.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: This has nothing to do with the letter Shirley or
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: calling anybody. Ask me a question and I'm gonna show
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: you how to lie. The sheer lying capability. Watch watch,
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: watch the quickness and creativity. Okay, Shirley, you and I
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: are in a relationship. Ask me anything and I'm not
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: gonna tell you the truth. I don't care how simple
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: anything it.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: Is going to head. Are you growing your hair bag?
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: What is that?
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: No?
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: That's a patch right there. I had that put on.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: I was trying on a hairpiece and I left some
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: glue on it, and that's the glue from that has
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: from the glue. Quick does.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: It's unbelievable.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: Next question, relationship?
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Yeah, did you did you drive your car to work today? No?
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: I drove it part of away and then I dropped
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: it off at the Jiffy Loube and then and then
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: I took a h I took a uber on into
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: work and I just go back around now and get it.
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: Are you are you planning on working out today? I'd
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: love to work out.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: Oh no, I ain't gonna be able to work out
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: today because I tweaked my back because when I was
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: leaving the jiffy jiffy loube, I slipped in some all boy,
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: that's what happened, and that's you know.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: And it's so anster. You will lie when the truth
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: will do? What?
- 1:07:47Speaker 13: What?
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: What?
- 1:07:47Speaker 13: What?
- 1:07:47Speaker 9: What?
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: Why not?
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: But why can't you just tell me because you had
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: to practice this?
- 1:07:53Speaker 5: You can?
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: You really needed?
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: We can handle the truth. You can't way we handle
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: Oh no, you can't. You can't handle our reaction to
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: your truth. You're a lie? Can I?
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: That is?
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: Go ahead and call it? Who is that on the
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: camera with you?
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: That on?
- 1:08:17Speaker 7: Who is that on the camera with me?
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm talking to you. Who is that on the
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: camera with you?
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: Baby? What camera?
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: The camera that I'm looking at? Who is that on
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: the camera with you? Right there?
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: A minute?
- 1:08:31Speaker 5: Hold?
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: Where do you think I am?
- 1:08:44Speaker 7: Share any more question?
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: We're in a committee relationship.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: You can ask me anything.
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: What is the point of lying?
- 1:08:52Speaker 6: Though?
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: I don't care? Why is it so important?
- 1:08:54Speaker 7: But let me ask you something? Why I got to lie?
- 1:09:00Speaker 7: Ask yourself?
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: That you why? I know why you like to distract?
- 1:09:07Speaker 7: Why I got to live though reaction? But see right there?
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: How you are okay?
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: You see how you don't try to flip it? Don't
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: try to if.
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: You're going to choose me of doing I am and
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: I am and I'm not doing it, and you're goose
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: me anyway, you.
- 1:09:25Speaker 7: Got eyes well in the back of your head.

- 1:13:52Speaker 9: of the hour. A wife was ghosted by her husband
- 1:13:54Speaker 9: and he wants to come back home. Five years later.
- 1:13:58Speaker 9: She needs some advice. We'll talk about right after this. Yeah,
- 1:14:01Speaker 9: five years later. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:10Speaker 9: This is from Visha in Oxford. Visha says, five years ago,
- 1:14:15Speaker 9: I had twins and my husband left me in the hospital.
- 1:14:19Speaker 9: He got a DUI that night, and his excuse was
- 1:14:22Speaker 9: that he wasn't ready for twins. I wasn't ready for
- 1:14:24Speaker 9: any more than he was. But I've been raising the
- 1:14:27Speaker 9: girls by myself for the past five years. He gave
- 1:14:31Speaker 9: me money the whole time, but he loved us from afar.
- 1:14:34Speaker 9: He wants to come home all of a sudden, and
- 1:14:36Speaker 9: I'm struggling with that. Should I go ahead and divorce
- 1:14:40Speaker 9: him or do we work on this marriage for our children?
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: Do I owe them that?
- 1:14:46Speaker 9: Wow?
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: Wow? Well they don't know who he is, so this
- 1:14:54Speaker 2: ain't for them. You have to think about yourself in
- 1:14:58Speaker 2: this one right here. It's been five years. You know,
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: they can know they have a father, and they should.
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: But as the woman, the wife, the mother, how do
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: you feel about this guy disappearing and just showing back up?
- 1:15:16Speaker 7: So what went wrong in his life? Well, he done
- 1:15:21Speaker 7: came back.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: Now let me go and do this. Hell so I
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: don't know, it's really how you feel. Don't do it
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: for the children. Don't do it for the children because
- 1:15:32Speaker 2: they never had him and all he got to do
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: is play an active role in the children's life. The
- 1:15:39Speaker 2: question is do you want him to play an active
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: role in your life?
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: He left her while she was in the hospital.
- 1:15:54Speaker 4: Yes, I had.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: Twins, my husband, I had twins. I remember the night
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: and how was it? I wanted to drive off.
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: But you didn't. But yeah, wow, this guy.
- 1:16:14Speaker 9: M M, yeah, we do have time for another one.
- 1:16:21Speaker 9: This is from Ason, Toronto. He says, I gave my
- 1:16:24Speaker 9: girlfriend some money to get her h VAC fixed, and
- 1:16:27Speaker 9: she spent it on getting her son's windows tenant. Every
- 1:16:30Speaker 9: time his car pulls up at the house, I want
- 1:16:32Speaker 9: to bust his windows. I think her son should give
- 1:16:36Speaker 9: me the money back because he's grown enough to get
- 1:16:38Speaker 9: his own windows tenant. Is my problem with the son
- 1:16:42Speaker 9: or with my girlfriend?
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: Problem is with your son. I mean, excuse me your
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: problems with your girlfriend? Yeah, that's what your problem is
- 1:16:52Speaker 2: because she deceptively asked for the money. Yeah, she knew
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: she was gonna get his money to his boy get
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: his windows tenant. How is getting your windows tenant more
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: important than me getting this? He now fixed the time? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: I'd have told my daddy to give me some money
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: for some tint. He just told me to squint when
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: I tried just squint.
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: So what should he say to her? What should Ace
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: say to his girlfriend?
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: Hey, look, you you told me what you wanted to
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: do with the money. That's so unfair. Now you gave
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: this money to this boy for some window tent See,
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: now you you the trust factor of helping you?
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Is you?
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: You you messing it up. See what a man can't feel,
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: just like a woman can't feel, is that you're not
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: appreciating what he does and you're taking it for granted
- 1:17:52Speaker 2: that right there ain't no man going for that because
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: women ain't gonna go for it.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: And she still needs her h fact fixed obviously.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: Well you just finish it up in the here and
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: be hot. Now, go out there in that car.
- 1:18:07Speaker 7: Have him rolled them to the windows down, y'all ride
- 1:18:09Speaker 7: around and there.
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: Since that was the priority.
- 1:18:16Speaker 9: Yeah, and this son, he says, has grown enough to
- 1:18:19Speaker 9: get his own windows tenants.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, all all, you can open the refrigerator,
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: pull a chair up, and watch a TV from the kitchen.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: Stay cool.
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:36Speaker 9: Wow, that's a tough one right there. Yeah, but you're,
- 1:18:41Speaker 9: like you said, Steve, the problem is with the girlfriend.
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: All right.

- 1:26:04Speaker 9: risk and fail miserably or never never try anything?
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: Would you rather take a risk and fail miserably or
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: never try anything new?
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: And you said take a risk?
- 1:26:16Speaker 2: Of course, There's only one way to live, and that
- 1:26:20Speaker 2: is to take the risk. Because in the risk lies
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: your opportunity. If you don't take chances, oh you're playing
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: it safe. You don't fall, you don't get hurt, you
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: don't get rejected, but you also don't move. You cannot
- 1:26:40Speaker 2: grow without risk. I've taken so many dowers I've had.
- 1:26:45Speaker 7: Listen to me.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: I've had far more failures than I have had successes.
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: I can assure you that I have had way more
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: failures than successes. But see, a lot of people don't
- 1:27:01Speaker 2: understand what I've learned that it's all a part of
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: the process. So let me give you a piece of
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: information that can help you with the als you take
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: in LIFs. Sometimes you hear people say, man, I'm tired
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: of taking als. You know, al is a slang term
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: for losses. You know, Man, I don't want I'm home
- 1:27:21Speaker 2: tired of taking these als. But when you take an L,
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: you have to look at it the right way. I
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: ain't never had no losses. I had a lot of al's,
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: but I ain't never had no losses, cause all my
- 1:27:36Speaker 2: als wasn't losses. All my als was lessons. And see,
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: you gotta understand that that's what it is. If you
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: quit looking at your als as losses and understanding them
- 1:27:50Speaker 2: als is lessons, you start handling them better. Remember how
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: I used to say on the radio all the time.
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: Behind every moment of adversity, two things happen. There's a
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: lesson and a blessing that's behind every bad thing that
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: happens to you. The loss of your mother is a
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: lesson and a blessing in there. Now the lesson is
- 1:28:12Speaker 2: it Once you can cope with the loss of your mother.
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: Do you know how much stronger that makes you as
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: a person, because I mean, really, after that was what
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: what can they do to you?
- 1:28:23Speaker 7: I'm leaving you? Hey, man, my mama gone.
- 1:28:28Speaker 5: You know what? Man?
- 1:28:30Speaker 2: That that was a cold lesson. Man, it taught me
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: so man, my mama gone. Do you know what the
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: blessing was? All of this stuff she taught me and
- 1:28:40Speaker 2: the strength I gained from her absence, because after I
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: lost my mother, it was nothing you could say to me.
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: It didn't matter to me what you said. I don't
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: want you no more. By okay, I'm leaving you. Oh okay,
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: what time? What time is that? Man? I done lost
- 1:29:02Speaker 2: my mama. Do you understand the strength I gained from that?
- 1:29:09Speaker 2: And do you understand the memory of all of the
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: lessons that she taught me? How they ring deer in
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: my head all the time? I was out the country, right,
- 1:29:22Speaker 2: and I was going to this meeting and they sent
- 1:29:24Speaker 2: the secretaries down to greet me at the door. So
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: I'm walking with these ladies to get on the elevator
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: and there what's called a protocol department, And they opened
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: up the elevator and they stood there and I said, no, ladies,
- 1:29:36Speaker 2: go ahead. They said, no, mister Harvey, we can't. We're
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: on protocol you first. I can't do this.
- 1:29:44Speaker 7: I can't allow you to hold this door for me.
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: I can't go on this elevator and leave this woman
- 1:29:51Speaker 2: in the hallway with her hand holding that bumper back
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: on the door. My mama in heaven watching me. My
- 1:29:57Speaker 2: mama raised me to be shivalingy towards women, to hold
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: doors for women, to allow women to walk through first,
- 1:30:05Speaker 2: to pull out chairs, to open.
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: The mall door.
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: I open the mall door for a woman. I don't
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: even got to know who you are. You ain't even
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: got to be with me. But if I see you
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: and I'm by that door, I'm gonna open the door
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: for you. That's what I learned from my mama. So
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: even in the greatest loss of my life, that loss
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: was a lesson because I know I've said it before,
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: but I'm gonna say it again. After the loss of
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: my mother, there's nothing you could do to me what
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: you finish threaten me with. Man, I lost my mom,
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: I buried my mama. I don't care what you.
- 1:30:39Speaker 7: Do every loss in your life.
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: If you quit looking at losses them ales, you taking
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: them als is lessons. Every time I see somebody trying
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: to take something from me that don't belong to them.
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: I done seen this movie before. I've learned this lesson before.
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: I've lost some money before. So now that loss ain't
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: a loss, it's a lesson. Now I know what it
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: looked like. You can't take no money from me no more.
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: I learned the lesson. That L that I took wasn't
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: really a loss. It was a lesson. So now, okay, cool,
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: you took three hundred from me, but I took an
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: L but I learned a lesson. So now here you come.
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: How you think you finnah get thirty thousand? But if
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: you take three from me, are you finna take some more?
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: Now I've learned all my ls was not losses. All
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: my ls was lessons. Those are my clothing remarks. Feel
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: how you wanna feel. But I done lost my mama.
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: I don't care. Talk to God today, y'all. He loved
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: to hear from me, and I'm meaning that too. I
- 1:31:55Speaker 2: really do mean that what you're gonna say to me.
