Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz Ben Ferguson with
- 0:05Speaker 2: you and Senator this show is an important one. We
- 0:08Speaker 2: are seeing anti Semitism exploding all over this country, especially
- 0:13Speaker 2: over the weekend, specifically on college campuses, putting Jewish students'
- 0:20Speaker 2: lives at risk on many college campuses. This over the
- 0:24Speaker 2: Jewish holiday that is beginning as well.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right where right now, at the beginning
- 0:29Speaker 3: of Passover, and in the last forty eight hours, we
- 0:33Speaker 3: have seen truly horrific demonstrations of anti Semitism on college
- 0:37Speaker 3: campuses across the country. This has been growing since October seventh.
- 0:41Speaker 3: We've seen it all over the country, but the last
- 0:43Speaker 3: forty eight hours have been really uniquely stomach turning. We've
- 0:48Speaker 3: seen it at Columbia, We've seen it at Yale, and
- 0:51Speaker 3: it is reached a new level where we now have
- 0:55Speaker 3: Jewish students and Jewish professors actively fearing for their life.
- 0:58Speaker 3: We're going to do a deep dive into this and
- 1:00Speaker 3: the sickness that has sadly taken over so many of
- 1:04Speaker 3: our universities that is threatening the next generation of Americans
- 1:09Speaker 3: with a poison from the left.
- 1:12Speaker 2: No doubt about it and this is a perfect opportunity
- 1:14Speaker 2: for me to bring up the importance of US standing
- 1:16Speaker 2: with the people in Israel. I want you to partner
- 1:20Speaker 2: with me, And if you want to know how to
- 1:21Speaker 2: help the people in Israel right now, there's an incredible
- 1:25Speaker 2: way to do it with the International Fellowship of Christians
- 1:28Speaker 2: and Jews. It's been over six months since the brutal
- 1:31Speaker 2: attack by Hamas on the men and women, the children,
- 1:35Speaker 2: the grandchildren, and the elderly, and since then the attacks
- 1:39Speaker 2: on Israel have actually increased, with the Ran and its
- 1:42Speaker 2: proxies launching an attack of hundreds of drones and missiles.
- 1:47Speaker 2: You know about that from just a week ago. Well,
- 1:49Speaker 2: that is where the need is right now. The International
- 1:52Speaker 2: Fellowship of Christians and Jews are on the ground now
- 1:55Speaker 2: addressing all of these urgent needs, and specifically what they're
- 2:00Speaker 2: doing right now is they're helping provide security by placing
- 2:04Speaker 2: bomb shelters and communities in Israel that need them the most.
- 2:08Speaker 2: When the sirens go off in Israel, people have about
- 2:10Speaker 2: fifteen seconds or less to go to safety, and the
- 2:14Speaker 2: IFCJ has helped renovate and install nearly three thousand bomb
- 2:19Speaker 2: shelters today as Israel and our people live with a
- 2:23Speaker 2: harsh reality of tear every day. Your support will help
- 2:26Speaker 2: address emergency security needs such as food and utility, equipment
- 2:30Speaker 2: for bomb shelters, flat jackets, and other essentials for the
- 2:34Speaker 2: people of Israel. We're asking listeners to give fifty dollars
- 2:38Speaker 2: or any amount to help provide life saving aid these
- 2:42Speaker 2: bomb shelters. You can visit SUPPORTIFCJ dot org. That's one word,
- 2:48Speaker 2: support IFCJ dot org. That's support IFCJ dot org center.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I want to talk about how this is This is
- 2:57Speaker 2: almost a org and eyes explosion of anti Semitism on
- 3:03Speaker 2: a second level. We saw this early on, right after
- 3:07Speaker 2: the attack on Israel that was six months ago, and
- 3:10Speaker 2: we even saw some of the heads of universities come
- 3:12Speaker 2: before Congress. Some of them had to step down from
- 3:16Speaker 2: their leadership roles, but didn't actually lose their jobs and
- 3:18Speaker 2: they still get their major paydays. And now we are
- 3:21Speaker 2: saying this second wave, which is even I would argue,
- 3:24Speaker 2: more grotesque than what we saw at the beginning, and
- 3:27Speaker 2: it also seems to be somewhat orchestrated because it is
- 3:30Speaker 2: growing not getting weaker.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Well, that's exactly right, and it seems clear that somebody
- 3:36Speaker 3: is paying for this. We don't know who, we don't
- 3:38Speaker 3: know where the money is coming from, but it is,
- 3:40Speaker 3: it is organized, it is persistent, and to give you
- 3:43Speaker 3: a sense of just how bad it has gotten, yesterday,
- 3:47Speaker 3: the Orthodox Rabbi at Columbia Barnard sent a WhatsApp message
- 3:52Speaker 3: to more than two hundred and ninety Jewish students, recommending
- 3:56Speaker 3: that they go home until it's safe for them to
- 3:59Speaker 3: be on camp again. And I want to read you
- 4:02Speaker 3: this diar yavde. What we are witnessing in and around
- 4:07Speaker 3: campus is terrible and tragic. The events of the last
- 4:11Speaker 3: few days, especially last night, have made it clear that
- 4:14Speaker 3: Columbia University's public safety and the NYPD cannot guarantee Jewish
- 4:20Speaker 3: students safety in the face of extreme anti semitism and anarchy.
- 4:27Speaker 3: It deeply pains me to say that I would strongly
- 4:30Speaker 3: recommend you return home as soon as possible and remain
- 4:35Speaker 3: home until the reality in and around campus has dramatically improved.
- 4:40Speaker 3: It is not our job as Jews to ensure our
- 4:45Speaker 3: own safety on campus. No one should have to endure
- 4:50Speaker 3: this level of hatred, let alone at school. If you
- 4:53Speaker 3: need assistance, please reach out to me, may we see
- 4:58Speaker 3: better days on campus soon, Signed by the director of
- 5:02Speaker 3: ou Jlicee at Columbia, Barnard.
- 5:06Speaker 2: These types of notes are something that to me is
- 5:09Speaker 2: somewhat unimaginable, and yet here we are. We also witness
- 5:12Speaker 2: video that went viral over the weekend of students that
- 5:15Speaker 2: were actually blocking Jewish students from entering a building on
- 5:19Speaker 2: a college campus.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Was a Seene.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Yeah, that was at Yale and you witnessed this happening.
- 5:25Speaker 2: And my question is to the university center, how are
- 5:28Speaker 2: they not suspending students that are involved in these actions.
- 5:32Speaker 3: So every administrator that is the turning a blind eye,
- 5:35Speaker 3: every administrator that is allowing this to occur, should resign
- 5:38Speaker 3: in disgrace. The university's basic job is to protect the
- 5:42Speaker 3: safety of every student, and these students are being threatened.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Look that is an email from the rabbi at Columbia saying,
- 5:49Speaker 3: if you're a juice Jewish student, you are not safe
- 5:52Speaker 3: on campus. You are physically in danger because the school
- 5:56Speaker 3: that you were paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to
- 5:59Speaker 3: go four years to is not willing to protect you
- 6:03Speaker 3: because their ideology is so twisted that they will allow
- 6:07Speaker 3: people to threaten your lives. That is truly twisted. Look
- 6:15Speaker 3: and by the way, it's not just students. It is
- 6:19Speaker 3: also striking that a Columbia professor, Shy Dividai, sent out
- 6:28Speaker 3: on Twitter quote, I just sent this message to the
- 6:32Speaker 3: leadership at Columbia University. I'm going to be on campus
- 6:35Speaker 3: Monday morning, and I am requesting police escort. Police escort
- 6:40Speaker 3: simply for going to my own place of work. And
- 6:45Speaker 3: here's the letter he sent. He sent dear President Shafik,
- 6:49Speaker 3: who's the president of Columbia, Vice President Rosberg, Chief Operating
- 6:54Speaker 3: Officer Cass Holloway, General Counsel Rosendine mcglaris. Last I checked,
- 7:00Speaker 3: I am still a professor at Columbia University. Therefore, I
- 7:04Speaker 3: plan to go tomorrow, Monday morning, and sit peacefully right
- 7:10Speaker 3: in the center of the illegal encampment that you have
- 7:13Speaker 3: allowed the Prohamas mob to establish in the middle of campus.
- 7:19Speaker 3: I will be joined with several Jewish and Israeli students, faculty,
- 7:25Speaker 3: and staff. Since the events of last night have shown
- 7:28Speaker 3: me that you have completely failed to protect the safety
- 7:32Speaker 3: of your Jewish and Israeli students, I am requesting approval
- 7:36Speaker 3: to have a police escort of at least ten cops
- 7:39Speaker 3: with me. I would ask for escort from the school's
- 7:41Speaker 3: public safety, but they have proven themselves useless versus these mobs,
- 7:47Speaker 3: and I do not want to put their lives at risk.
- 7:50Speaker 3: We will be coming. I am an employee and they
- 7:54Speaker 3: are your students. You have a responsibility to protect our
- 7:58Speaker 3: physical safety. Safety sincerely, shy Dividai like, what the hell
- 8:06Speaker 3: that their own professors do not feel safe on campus
- 8:11Speaker 3: because they've allowed hundreds of pro Haamas protesters to set
- 8:17Speaker 3: up tents, to camp in the middle of campus and
- 8:19Speaker 3: to threaten the safety of Jewish students.
- 8:24Speaker 1: And let's talk about the makeup here.
- 8:25Speaker 2: And this is where it goes back to the organization
- 8:28Speaker 2: aspect of this number one. Yes, there are certainly in
- 8:33Speaker 2: these groups of protesters students. I think we need to
- 8:36Speaker 2: make that very clear. But there's also what you would
- 8:39Speaker 2: refer to as outside of agitators who are involved as well,
- 8:44Speaker 2: who and this is well organized. That is the part
- 8:48Speaker 2: in you. As you mentioned earlier, we don't know who's
- 8:50Speaker 2: funding this yet.
- 8:51Speaker 3: We've got to follow the money.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Yeah, we've got to follow the money. But that goes
- 8:56Speaker 2: back to my point. If you're not a student center
- 8:59Speaker 2: and you. You're there as an agitator and you're threatening
- 9:02Speaker 2: the well being of students. Doesn't that give the universe
- 9:07Speaker 2: even more grounds to be able to say, you don't
- 9:09Speaker 2: go to school here, you're out of here, like arrest them,
- 9:13Speaker 2: take them away.
- 9:14Speaker 3: So absolutely yes, and understand what we are seeing here.
- 9:19Speaker 3: This is not free speech. Free speech gives you the
- 9:23Speaker 3: right to say what you want. Free speech doesn't give
- 9:25Speaker 3: you the right to threaten violence, especially against other students.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Nobody has the right to threaten violence against other students.
- 9:34Speaker 3: That the Ku Klux Klan showed up on campus, burned
- 9:37Speaker 3: across and said we are going to beat up or
- 9:39Speaker 3: kill African American students, they would naturally be arrested. You
- 9:44Speaker 3: don't get to threaten violence. And it's important to understand.
- 9:48Speaker 3: So you get in the sort of woke online world,
- 9:52Speaker 3: you get people say no, no, no, no. These are not
- 9:54Speaker 3: pro Hamas protesters. These are just people who are standing
- 9:58Speaker 3: with the innocent Palace Stinian people. I want you to
- 10:02Speaker 3: listen to some of the chants that we're going on
- 10:04Speaker 3: at Columbia. UH play the audio.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Ben and for people, by the way, when you hear this,
- 10:09Speaker 2: I want you to understand. So some of this is loud,
- 10:13Speaker 2: and I'm going to give you a few of the
- 10:14Speaker 2: lines so that you can kind of hear this here
- 10:16Speaker 2: so you understand what to listen for. We say, just
- 10:19Speaker 2: as you say, how burn tel Aviv to the ground.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Another one that you'll hear them chant is Hamas, we
- 10:25Speaker 2: love you, we support your rockets too. And then another
- 10:29Speaker 2: one is red, black, green and white. We support Hamas's fight.
- 10:35Speaker 2: That's just some of what you're gonna hear. Listen carefully,
- 11:00Speaker 2: you know, I mean, center you you listen to that,
- 11:29Speaker 2: and I go back to what they were saying. It
- 11:32Speaker 2: is right, it is right to rebel Hamas, give them
- 11:35Speaker 2: hell Palestine.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Yeah, let me read through the entire chant that what
- 11:40Speaker 3: you heard. The opening line is Alka, Sam, you make
- 11:43Speaker 3: us proud, take another soldier out. So it's calling on
- 11:49Speaker 3: Hamas to murder Israeli soldiers. We say justice, you say,
- 11:53Speaker 3: how burn tel Aviv to the ground. Next line, Hamas,
- 12:00Speaker 3: we love you. We support your rockets too, rockets that
- 12:04Speaker 3: are aimed at civilians, to murder civilians, Red, black, green,
- 12:08Speaker 3: and white. We support Hamas's fight. It is right to
- 12:11Speaker 3: rebel Alca Sam, give them hell. It is right to
- 12:14Speaker 3: rebel Hamas, give them Hell, free, free Palestine. These are
- 12:22Speaker 3: open Jihadis. They are cheering on Hamas murdering Jews. This
- 12:28Speaker 3: is not simply having a political discussion about the state
- 12:33Speaker 3: of the Gaza Strip or the West Bank. This is
- 12:36Speaker 3: advocating in support of terrorists who are murdering civilians. And
- 12:41Speaker 3: they are doing this on Columbia's campus and doing it
- 12:45Speaker 3: directly to threaten Jewish students on campus.
- 12:49Speaker 2: So when you look at the universities now, I also
- 12:52Speaker 2: think this brings up a bigger conversation. And there was
- 12:55Speaker 2: one of my friends that went to Colombia, for example,
- 12:58Speaker 2: and said that they were never could have imagined that
- 13:01Speaker 2: this would be their campus where they graduated from, that
- 13:03Speaker 2: they would be this ashamed of being an alumnus watching
- 13:07Speaker 2: this take place on their college campuses. We've seen a
- 13:11Speaker 2: lot of others saying that I think this is the
- 13:13Speaker 2: moment of reckoning, and I mean it sincerely when I
- 13:16Speaker 2: say this where parents have got to start looking at
- 13:19Speaker 2: where they're sending their kids and what their kids are
- 13:22Speaker 2: being indoctrinated with when they go to these schools. It
- 13:25Speaker 2: used to be simple, you go to the best school
- 13:27Speaker 2: you could get into. That was the logic, and then
- 13:30Speaker 2: it was if you got into an ivyleg school, you should,
- 13:33Speaker 2: you know, celebrate and run to that school. What we're
- 13:36Speaker 2: now witnessing in the indoctrination of anti Semitism on these
- 13:41Speaker 2: college campuses, is this not a moment where people should
- 13:44Speaker 2: really take a deep, hard look at do you want
- 13:46Speaker 2: to give your kids minds over to these people?
- 13:49Speaker 3: Look? Look sadly, it's something a lot of parents are considering,
- 13:53Speaker 3: a lot of parents are wondering, why exactly do I
- 13:56Speaker 3: spend a half million dollars to send my children an
- 13:59Speaker 3: institute to brainwash them to hate America and hate their
- 14:03Speaker 3: mother and father. Look. Look, there was another image that
- 14:08Speaker 3: was sent around, and this is again on Columbia, where
- 14:12Speaker 3: some Jewish students were holding Israeli and American flags, and
- 14:18Speaker 3: in front of them stood a young woman. She is
- 14:22Speaker 3: covering up her face in what looks like a Palaestadian headscarf.
- 14:26Speaker 3: Although she's a blond woman by appearances, she certainly does
- 14:29Speaker 3: not appear Palestinian. She appears like a blonde, young liberal.
- 14:34Speaker 3: And her sign is handwritten on cardboard and it says
- 14:40Speaker 3: al Cassam's next targets and it has an arrow pointing
- 14:46Speaker 3: to the Jews behind her waving Israeli flags at American flags.
- 14:50Speaker 3: Now understand, she is deliberately threatening other students with murder,
- 14:58Speaker 3: saying they should be murdered by terrorists. And I'll tell
- 15:01Speaker 3: you I put out on Twitter yesterday I said, if
- 15:05Speaker 3: this is a student, she should be expelled. If this
- 15:10Speaker 3: is a Columbia professor, she should be fired. No university
- 15:16Speaker 3: should allow one member of the community to advocate the
- 15:20Speaker 3: murder of other members of the community. Now understand, this
- 15:24Speaker 3: is not free speech anymore. Go back to the clan example.
- 15:29Speaker 3: You would not allow a student to say the clan
- 15:33Speaker 3: should lynch these African American students. That would be grotesque
- 15:37Speaker 3: and you would expel that student because you don't get
- 15:40Speaker 3: to threaten her, harass, or advocate the murder of your
- 15:43Speaker 3: fellow students. There are obligations every student has. You can
- 15:48Speaker 3: argue peacefully and civilly, but you do not get to
- 15:52Speaker 3: threaten violence. And when you are standing there saying murder
- 15:57Speaker 3: these students, that is exactly what you were doing.
- 16:01Speaker 2: What comes next, I think from and I'm a government response.
- 16:05Speaker 2: You know, it's amazing how easily we can put people
- 16:08Speaker 2: on watch lists. If you're if your parent that goes
- 16:11Speaker 2: to a school board meeting. But these are people that
- 16:13Speaker 2: are calling for for terrorism, calling for murder, calling for death.
- 16:18Speaker 2: They're right there, They've got their signs. Is there a
- 16:21Speaker 2: responsibility of the of the government law enforcement to look
- 16:25Speaker 2: into these and take these threats seriously?
- 16:28Speaker 3: Look absolutely yes, But it starts with the university administration.
- 16:33Speaker 3: They are so terrified of the politics of this that
- 16:37Speaker 3: that that they're paralyzed that they refuse to do anything
- 16:40Speaker 3: about it. So John pot horitz Uh sent this out
- 16:44Speaker 3: on Twitter. He said, I just got this from a
- 16:46Speaker 3: Columbia chat and and this is someone who said, quote,
- 16:51Speaker 3: my husband just picked up our freshman daughter at school.
- 16:55Speaker 3: He double parked and barged through the gate to get
- 16:58Speaker 3: her on college walk and escorted her out through a
- 17:02Speaker 3: gauntlet of nasty protesters. She tried to put up with
- 17:06Speaker 3: being on campus, quote staying strong and quote holding her ground,
- 17:12Speaker 3: but the noise and viciousness finally got to her and
- 17:17Speaker 3: she couldn't sleep or concentrate anymore. My husband and daughter
- 17:23Speaker 3: felt like refugees fleeing a war zone. And to top
- 17:28Speaker 3: it all off, at the one hundred and sixteenth in Amsterdam,
- 17:31Speaker 3: gate they yelled to my husband to quote, go back
- 17:36Speaker 3: to Poland. This is vicious, this is racist, this is
- 17:42Speaker 3: nakedly anti Semitic, and this is the poison being taught
- 17:47Speaker 3: at our universities right now.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Yeah, twour War two rhetoric, if you want to get
- 17:51Speaker 1: right down to.
- 17:51Speaker 3: It, that is exactly right. By the way, at Yale
- 17:58Speaker 3: they blocked Jewish students from going into campus and one
- 18:03Speaker 3: Yale student, a girl, was stabbed in the eye with
- 18:06Speaker 3: a Palestinian flag and was hospitalized for it. So this
- 18:10Speaker 3: was not just threats of violence, it was actual violence.
- 18:14Speaker 3: That is unfolding. And you have to ask, all right,
- 18:18Speaker 3: what is Columbia doing, What is what is Yale doing
- 18:21Speaker 3: to ensure that that that students are are safe?
- 18:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and the question is what are they going to
- 18:28Speaker 2: do when it comes to the next round of students
- 18:30Speaker 2: that are going to come through. Is it basically, Hey,
- 18:33Speaker 2: if you're Jewish, you can come here, but you were
- 18:34Speaker 2: not going to keep you safe.
- 18:35Speaker 1: We're not going to protect you.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Because that looks to seem like that is the policies
- 18:39Speaker 2: of these universities so far, the same universities that the
- 18:43Speaker 2: demand tolerance and safe spaces. I remember just back a
- 18:46Speaker 2: few years ago center, when everybody was obsessed with having
- 18:49Speaker 2: quote safe spaces.
- 18:50Speaker 1: What happened to that on college campuses?
- 18:52Speaker 3: Well, it is it is safe spaces only for leftists,
- 18:55Speaker 3: and it in the look. We've talked about this a lot,
- 18:59Speaker 3: because listen that there are a lot of people who
- 19:01Speaker 3: are politically left of center who are looking at what's
- 19:04Speaker 3: happening at campuses and they're horrified that they're just saying,
- 19:07Speaker 3: I don't understand. I don't understand where this anti semitism
- 19:11Speaker 3: is coming from. And we've talked a lot on this
- 19:13Speaker 3: podcast about it. The origins is cultural Marxism, and cultural
- 19:17Speaker 3: Marxism has taken over our college campuses. It has become
- 19:21Speaker 3: the dominant ideology. And the Marxist worldview divides the world
- 19:27Speaker 3: into victims and oppressors. And they have defined Jews. And
- 19:33Speaker 3: let's be clear, I'm not saying israelis. I am saying Jews.
- 19:37Speaker 3: If you're an American Jew, they have defined you as
- 19:40Speaker 3: an oppressor and they have defined Palestinians as victims. Let's
- 19:45Speaker 3: be clear. The people chanting anti Semitic chants are not
- 19:50Speaker 3: limiting it to people who live in Israel. They are
- 19:52Speaker 3: directing it at American Jews, and it is the poison
- 19:59Speaker 3: that is being taught to our students, that is being
- 20:01Speaker 3: echoed by professors, that is being echoed by administrators. And
- 20:04Speaker 3: it's why administrators are paralyzed to do anything about it,
- 20:08Speaker 3: because they see the pro Haamas protesters and in their
- 20:13Speaker 3: hierarchy of values, because they are protesting for Palestinians, they
- 20:19Speaker 3: are more right, they are more just than the Jews
- 20:23Speaker 3: who are are coded as oppressors. And it is wrong,
- 20:27Speaker 3: it is a lie, it is vicious, it is racist,
- 20:30Speaker 3: and it is the ideology that we have allowed to
- 20:32Speaker 3: take over our campuses. And as far as I'm concerned,
- 20:36Speaker 3: any college president We've seen the president of Penn and
- 20:40Speaker 3: the president of Harvard resigned, But any college president who
- 20:43Speaker 3: does not act to protect students, who does not stand
- 20:45Speaker 3: up and say every student on my campus shall be safe.
- 20:48Speaker 3: And by the way, if you had a bunch of
- 20:51Speaker 3: Jewish students threatening violence against Palestinian students, I'd say the
- 20:54Speaker 3: same thing. But let's be clear, that's not happening. This
- 20:58Speaker 3: is not You will say online that there is a
- 21:02Speaker 3: sort of what about ism, there is a sort of
- 21:05Speaker 3: both sides as them, Well, you know, both sides are
- 21:08Speaker 3: doing this. No, that's not right. There are no pro
- 21:11Speaker 3: Israel protesters on college campuses who are threatening Palestinians. It
- 21:19Speaker 3: is one sided only. And so, for example, you know,
- 21:24Speaker 3: I spent much of Sunday afternoon tweeting and pushing out
- 21:27Speaker 3: these videos because you really need to see them. And
- 21:31Speaker 3: one kind of very outspoken person on the left came
- 21:34Speaker 3: back and said, well, this is the problem with people
- 21:37Speaker 3: like Cruise. The issue is framed.
- 21:41Speaker 1: But it's not.
- 21:43Speaker 3: It is not just the left. Because what I tweeted
- 21:46Speaker 3: was wow, truly stunning. Read what the Orthodox rabbi at
- 21:51Speaker 3: Columbia Barnard wrote to Jewish students return home as soon
- 21:54Speaker 3: as possible. Columbia, New York City cannot will not protect
- 21:58Speaker 3: your safety. Radical leftist anti Semitism is a sickness that
- 22:03Speaker 3: is destroying our universities. And this person pushed back and said, no, no, no,
- 22:08Speaker 3: it's not leftists. And my response was to say, it
- 22:12Speaker 3: is not honest to both sides this. All of the
- 22:17Speaker 3: students attacking Jews right now on college campuses are leftists.
- 22:23Speaker 3: So are all of the professors. This is the poison
- 22:27Speaker 3: fruit of Marxist ideology, where universities teach that Jews are
- 22:32Speaker 3: oppressors and Palestinians are victims. And it is it is direct,
- 22:38Speaker 3: it is ideological, and that is the poison that now
- 22:43Speaker 3: has become commonplaces at universities.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Yeah, great point, and twenty twenty four many of you
- 22:48Speaker 2: listening may have made the decision that I made, and
- 22:50Speaker 2: that is I am going to not give my money
- 22:53Speaker 2: willfully every day to hardcore leftists, causes, organizations and companies
- 22:59Speaker 2: that fight against my values. There are a lot of
- 23:03Speaker 2: woke coffee companies out there. When I said that, you
- 23:07Speaker 2: probably had a name or two instantly jump into your head.
- 23:10Speaker 1: Now.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Look, I love a good cup of coffee. Every morning,
- 23:14Speaker 2: I get on the radio at seven am. I've got
- 23:16Speaker 2: to be awake. I got to go through the biggest
- 23:18Speaker 2: news of the day and what happened overnight. And I'm
- 23:21Speaker 2: not going to compromise now. I also am not going
- 23:23Speaker 2: to buy a woke cup of coffee any longer. And
- 23:26Speaker 2: that is why I want you to know about Blackout Coffee.
- 23:29Speaker 2: This is not an average cup of coffee. This is
- 23:32Speaker 2: an amazing, premium cup of coffee, and I start my
- 23:36Speaker 2: day with it every single day, and I'm not going back.

- 24:29Speaker 2: insanely good. I travel with it now. I do a

- 24:37Speaker 2: Check that out as well. You'll save twenty percent off
- 24:39Speaker 2: your first order. Blackoutcoffee dot com slash verdict. Use cupe
- 24:44Speaker 2: on code vertict for twenty percent off your first order center.
- 24:48Speaker 2: We hear from the President of the United States of
- 24:49Speaker 2: America a lot on certain issues, moral issues. We see
- 24:53Speaker 2: the President come out and he has no problem jumping
- 24:56Speaker 2: in if it's on something like.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Black Lives Matter.
- 24:58Speaker 2: But what we're not saying is the White House condemned
- 25:01Speaker 2: these actions in a real way. White House Press secretary
- 25:05Speaker 2: was asked about some protesters this week chanting long Live
- 25:08Speaker 2: a Moss.
- 25:09Speaker 1: And this was the.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Question the White House Press Secretary and listen to her answer,
- 25:13Speaker 2: and just to follow.
- 25:13Speaker 4: Up on the protests, I guess you don't want to
- 25:15Speaker 4: go into specifics, but what does the president think about
- 25:19Speaker 4: young people in America saying things like we are all
- 25:23Speaker 4: a Moss and long lived a Moss.
- 25:26Speaker 5: I will say, Look, this is a president that has
- 25:29Speaker 5: been since he's been in office, and the reason why
- 25:33Speaker 5: he ran has been very clear about what he witnessed
- 25:36Speaker 5: in Charlottesville. Let's not forget what we saw, the anti semitism,
- 25:39Speaker 5: the bigotry, the hate that we saw in the street
- 25:42Speaker 5: of Charlottesville, which as I just stated, was one of
- 25:45Speaker 5: the reasons that he decided to run. And no president
- 25:49Speaker 5: has taken more action to combat anti Semitism than this president.
- 25:54Speaker 5: And so you know, in our national strategy, we may
- 25:57Speaker 5: clear that when Jews are targeted because of their beliefs,
- 26:01Speaker 5: because of their identity, or when Israel is singled out
- 26:05Speaker 5: because of anti Jewish hate hatred, that is anti Semitism,
- 26:09Speaker 5: and that is completely, completely unacceptable.
- 26:13Speaker 1: So there's your generic, right.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Well, you know, we've got a lot going on here,
- 26:18Speaker 2: and you know, Biden ran and we're going to.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Go back to this other issue.
- 26:23Speaker 2: How hard is it for the White House to come
- 26:24Speaker 2: out and specifically the President to come out and condemn this.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Well, and I will say, late Sunday afternoon, the White
- 26:31Speaker 3: House finally put out a statement condemning the anti semitism
- 26:34Speaker 3: at Columbia because it had gotten so bad. But I'll
- 26:37Speaker 3: tell you you and I are recording this right now.
- 26:39Speaker 3: It is twelve twenty four am, late Sunday night, beginning
- 26:42Speaker 3: of Monday morning. And I just right now, as we're
- 26:46Speaker 3: recording this, I looked at Joe Biden's Twitter account bingo
- 26:50Speaker 3: in the past twenty four hours and this is as
- 26:52Speaker 3: of twelve twenty four am. Joe Biden has tweeted about
- 26:56Speaker 3: legalizing marijuana and he sent multiple tweets calling for legalizing
- 27:01Speaker 3: marijuana and pardoning everyone who's convicted a possession of marijuana,
- 27:05Speaker 3: and multiple tweets attacking Donald Trump. He has not sent
- 27:09Speaker 3: said one single word about the anti semitism we're seeing
- 27:14Speaker 3: at Columbia and Yale on his Twitter account. They put
- 27:17Speaker 3: out an official White House statement that that that that
- 27:19Speaker 3: that gets uh that that that that gets a little
- 27:22Speaker 3: bit of attention, but on Twitter, complete silence. And there's
- 27:26Speaker 3: a reason. I mean, I asked the question why.
- 27:29Speaker 2: Now, and you know this, that's to check the boxes
- 27:32Speaker 2: diplomacy on this. They're they're they are not sending the
- 27:35Speaker 2: president out and forget sending him. There's certain moments when
- 27:40Speaker 2: you're a leader that you just know your voice should
- 27:43Speaker 2: be heard on an issue. This is that moment where
- 27:46Speaker 2: the President should come out there shouldn't even need to
- 27:49Speaker 2: be a meeting about this and condemn it. And this
- 27:52Speaker 2: is where they're trying to have it both ways.
- 27:54Speaker 3: Well, and that's because these angry leftists hosts are their
- 28:01Speaker 3: base right now and they're terrified of angering angering their base.
- 28:07Speaker 3: It is the sad reality of where we are right now.
- 28:12Speaker 2: This also comes down to and we're seeing even more
- 28:14Speaker 2: and more data younger voters, which Joe Biden desperately needs.
- 28:19Speaker 2: Those thirty five and under are he's at risk of
- 28:23Speaker 2: them not showing up. The ones that voted for him
- 28:26Speaker 2: last time. If they don't show up this time, can
- 28:28Speaker 2: cost in the election. We've seen a lot of pandering.
- 28:31Speaker 2: We've seen yet another round of Hey, I'm going to
- 28:33Speaker 2: pay off your student loans and I don't care how
- 28:35Speaker 2: many millions or billions it costs.
- 28:38Speaker 1: We're going to buy votes that way.
- 28:40Speaker 2: We also see him coming out and not making the
- 28:43Speaker 2: big statements to fitting Israel because the young people have
- 28:46Speaker 2: been in doctrine and this goes back to what we're
- 28:48Speaker 2: witnessing on college campuses.
- 28:49Speaker 1: They've been indoctrined to hate Israel.
- 28:52Speaker 2: And so that's why I think we've seen the President
- 28:55Speaker 2: not say anything in.
- 28:56Speaker 1: A real way publicly.
- 28:57Speaker 2: In fact, he's talked about what they've leaked from the
- 29:00Speaker 2: White House. Let's talk about the leaks over the last
- 29:03Speaker 2: two weeks. They claim that the first Lady told Joe
- 29:06Speaker 2: Biden to stop it, stop it now, referring to Israel's
- 29:09Speaker 2: attacks on the terrace, and that was leaked by senior staff. Obviously,
- 29:14Speaker 2: there's real leaks that are shocking. And then there's leaks
- 29:17Speaker 2: that you do on purpose to get a news cycle.
- 29:20Speaker 2: That was clearly a purposeful leak. And then we also
- 29:23Speaker 2: had it coming out of the White House that apparently
- 29:25Speaker 2: the President in essence told Israel, hey, your Iyan Dome worked.
- 29:29Speaker 2: Take the win, right, don't retaliate against against the people
- 29:34Speaker 2: attacking you. Just be excited that you got the win.
- 29:38Speaker 2: If that's the messaging from the White House when it
- 29:41Speaker 2: comes to actual war, then it's very clear this is
- 29:44Speaker 2: all orchestrated as well.
- 29:46Speaker 3: Yeah, understand it's not just Israel that the angry left hates.
- 29:53Speaker 3: I want you to play a video of what happened
- 29:58Speaker 3: at Yale this weekend. And it's going to be hard
- 29:59Speaker 3: to tell from the audio, but after you listen to
- 30:02Speaker 3: the audio, I'm gonna explain what you just listened to.
- 30:04Speaker 3: But but but play that audio, Ben.
- 30:19Speaker 1: Senator.
- 30:19Speaker 2: I wish people could see that video because if you
- 30:22Speaker 2: witness it, it's up on your on your Twitter right now,
- 30:25Speaker 2: it will make you enraged at what they're cheering.
- 30:28Speaker 3: Yeah, you really need to see this video. So this
- 30:31Speaker 3: occurred on the Yale campus and they're chanting Viva Viva Palestina.
- 30:36Speaker 3: But what they're doing is they're pulling down the American
- 30:40Speaker 3: flag from a flagpole. And and by the way, the
- 30:43Speaker 3: the image of the students strikingly the students, the Yale
- 30:47Speaker 3: students that are there, if any of them are Palestinian,
- 30:50Speaker 3: they don't appear to be. Uh. And and there is
- 30:54Speaker 3: in in the foreground of the image there is this
- 30:57Speaker 3: young blonde kid, uh who appears to be just your
- 31:02Speaker 3: typical woke leftist American. All. He's got short blonde hair,
- 31:06Speaker 3: and he's wearing a Palestinian scarf. And as the American
- 31:10Speaker 3: flag goes down, he thrusts his fist in the air.
- 31:14Speaker 3: And the cheering you hear is when the flag goes
- 31:18Speaker 3: all the way down and hits the ground. These are
- 31:20Speaker 3: Yale students cheering the American flag being torn down. Play
- 31:26Speaker 3: the audio again and understand the cheering is when the
- 31:28Speaker 3: American flag hits the ground. Play the audio again. Ben.
- 31:41Speaker 2: You also see people that are smiling and in essence laughing, Senator,
- 31:46Speaker 2: like they can't believe this is happening on their campus
- 31:49Speaker 2: and enjoying the moment.
- 31:50Speaker 1: They've been camping out there. But this is at Yale.
- 31:53Speaker 2: And if you see this at Yale, and you realize
- 31:56Speaker 2: Yelle is allowing this to happen. The question is, why
- 31:59Speaker 2: on earth would you send your kid to Yale and
- 32:01Speaker 2: go half million dollars or more into into debt or
- 32:05Speaker 2: have to pay that money for your kids to be
- 32:07Speaker 2: indoctrinated at a place that is clearly not coming down
- 32:11Speaker 2: hard on these actions.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Now, look that that is exactly right, and it's because
- 32:16Speaker 3: the Yale administrators are terrified to engage with against the
- 32:23Speaker 3: left because they support the views of the left. I'll
- 32:27Speaker 3: tell you something else that was tweeted. There is a
- 32:30Speaker 3: story in the Free Beacon the Dean of students of
- 32:34Speaker 3: Northwestern attended a protest targeting the campus Jewish community Center.
- 32:41Speaker 3: So the Dean of students went to a rally where
- 32:44Speaker 3: protesters said the school quote weaponizes anti Semitism to silence
- 32:49Speaker 3: pro Palestinian activism, and let me read you that article.
- 32:53Speaker 3: The Dean of students at Northwestern University attended an anti
- 32:56Speaker 3: Israel protest this week targeting Hillel, the school's Jewish student
- 33:00Speaker 3: community center, to defend the demonstrator's quote right to free speech.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Dean of Students Monadugo said she showed up at the
- 33:06Speaker 3: rally on Monday to support anti Israel's activist quote right
- 33:10Speaker 3: to protest and to protect the right to free speech.
- 33:13Speaker 3: According to The Daily Northwestern, protest organizers demanded that the
- 33:18Speaker 3: university end its relationship with Hillel, a one hundred year
- 33:22Speaker 3: old nonprofit group that operates Jewish community centers on campuses
- 33:25Speaker 3: around the world, including Northwestern. The protest took place during
- 33:30Speaker 3: Northwestern's Admitted Students Day, which seeks to introduce incoming students
- 33:35Speaker 3: to campus life. So imagine you are Jewish students coming going.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Oh great, this is a welcoming place for me. Quote.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Hillel is one of the many places in which this
- 33:44Speaker 3: university is complicit in infusing Jewishness with Zionism, said one
- 33:51Speaker 3: protest organizer in a speech at the rally. A leaflet
- 33:55Speaker 3: handed out by protesters accused Northwestern of quote funneling Jewish
- 33:59Speaker 3: student into Hillel, the Zionist Foundation for Jewish Life. It
- 34:05Speaker 3: also claimed the school quote weaponizes claims of anti Semitism
- 34:09Speaker 3: on campus to silence pro Palestinian activism. This is the
- 34:14Speaker 3: dean of students, now, I will say. After this became public, Northwestern,
- 34:19Speaker 3: at least to their credit, they put out a statement
- 34:21Speaker 3: claiming the dean of students goes to every protest to
- 34:25Speaker 3: make sure there's not violence. Maybe it sure doesn't sound
- 34:29Speaker 3: like that from the article that was printed in the
- 34:32Speaker 3: campus paper. But I'm at least glad they're feeling the
- 34:35Speaker 3: need to try to explain it. I suppose that is
- 34:38Speaker 3: marginally better then saying, yep, that's where we stand.
- 34:43Speaker 2: It's American college campuses, and it's all coming and being organized,
- 34:47Speaker 2: as you mentioned earlier, by the left. And if you
- 34:51Speaker 2: look at this, you go back to what you said
- 34:53Speaker 2: at the beginning about how important is to follow the money.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Why is it that when it comes to these issues,
- 35:00Speaker 2: And I'm going to answer my own question here, but
- 35:03Speaker 2: it's like the media doesn't exist when it comes to
- 35:05Speaker 2: investiative reporting. I would assume the media could figure it
- 35:09Speaker 2: out pretty darn quickly, Senator. Who's paying for this, who's
- 35:14Speaker 2: organizing it, who's behind it, where the money is originating from?
- 35:19Speaker 2: Not as single stories being written about it though.
- 35:22Speaker 3: No, because they don't care. Because the media is ultimately
- 35:25Speaker 3: supportive of these goals. They're not. They're not covering it.
- 35:30Speaker 3: By the way, I will give some credit, and this
- 35:32Speaker 3: is something painful for me to do, but I'm gonna
- 35:34Speaker 3: give a little bit of credit to see it in.
- 35:35Speaker 3: You know who's been most vocal speaking out on this.
- 35:38Speaker 2: CNN has had a lot of coverage that you're you're correct,
- 35:40Speaker 2: especially this past weekend.
- 35:42Speaker 3: And Jake Tapper in particular, And listen, I've been very
- 35:45Speaker 3: critical of Jake. You and I both know Jake very well,
- 35:48Speaker 3: but on this issue, Jake, Jake Tapper has been the
- 35:51Speaker 3: single most outspoken major media figure and I'm gonna give
- 35:54Speaker 3: him credit for that because because his colleagues and his
- 35:57Speaker 3: colleagues at other networks and newspapers should.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Do the same, Yeah, they should. Let me tell you
- 36:02Speaker 2: about Patriot Mobile. If you have a cell phone in
- 36:05Speaker 2: about nine nine percent of you do, how would you
- 36:08Speaker 2: like to know that every time you use your phone
- 36:10Speaker 2: and every time you pay your bill, you're actually standing
- 36:14Speaker 2: up for the values you believe in in a very
- 36:16Speaker 2: real way. Patriot Mobile for more than a decade has
- 36:20Speaker 2: been America's only Christian conservative wireless provider. And when I
- 36:24Speaker 2: say only, I mean it, they're the only one. Patriot
- 36:28Speaker 2: Mobile is a company that actually got started to combat
- 36:32Speaker 2: the left. That's pretty amazing. When you say, hey, why'd
- 36:35Speaker 2: you start a company? Well, we realized where the money
- 36:38Speaker 2: was going when you paid Big Mobile. It was going
- 36:40Speaker 2: to hardcore leftist causes, candidates, organizations, and including Planned Parenthood.
- 36:48Speaker 2: When they found out how much money was going to
- 36:50Speaker 2: those causes, that is when Patriot Mobile said, we're going
- 36:54Speaker 2: to start a conservative cell phone company. Now, Patriot Mobile
- 36:57Speaker 2: offers you dependable nationwide cup giving you the ability to
- 37:01Speaker 2: access all three major networks, so that same towers that
- 37:06Speaker 2: you use right now are the same exact towers you're
- 37:08Speaker 2: going to use when you switch to Patriot Mobile. But
- 37:11Speaker 2: the best part is when you make that switch, you're
- 37:14Speaker 2: no longer funding the left. And when you switch to
- 37:16Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile, they take about five percent of your bill
- 37:19Speaker 2: every month and no exert charge to you, and they
- 37:23Speaker 2: give it back to organizations that support free speech, religious freedom,
- 37:27Speaker 2: support the sanctity of life, the Second Amendment, and they
- 37:31Speaker 2: also support our military, our wounded warriors, are veterans and
- 37:36Speaker 2: first responders.
- 37:37Speaker 1: It is easy to switch, whether it's.
- 37:39Speaker 2: You and your family's lines or a business small or large.
- 37:43Speaker 2: You can keep your same phone number you have now,
- 37:46Speaker 2: keep your same phone, or upgrade to a new one.
- 37:48Speaker 2: But every month when you pay your bill, you're standing
- 37:50Speaker 2: up for what you believe in, So get rid of
- 37:53Speaker 2: mobile and switch to Patriot Mobile the number nine to
- 37:57Speaker 2: seven to two Patriot that's nine seven to Patriot get
- 38:01Speaker 2: free activation when you use the offer code vertict nine
- 38:04Speaker 2: seven two Patriot or Patriotmobile dot com slash verdict. That's
- 38:08Speaker 2: Patriot Mobile dot com slash verdict. Senator, last question for
- 38:14Speaker 2: you on this one. If we do find out that
- 38:18Speaker 2: these organizations that are backing and clearly growing these these
- 38:24Speaker 2: anti Semitic protests are directly connected to Democratic donors, Democratic
- 38:29Speaker 2: Party Party, what are the chances that the media covers
- 38:33Speaker 2: it or what do you bet we're the only ones
- 38:35Speaker 2: people hear about it from zero?
- 38:37Speaker 3: The media won't cover that. They have no interest in
- 38:39Speaker 3: it whatsoever. They have no interest in who's promoting this,
- 38:43Speaker 3: who's funding it, who's paying people. Listen, Ben, as you know,
- 38:48Speaker 3: I have had anti Israel Prohamas protesters at my home
- 38:53Speaker 3: every Saturday morning for over three months now. It's the
- 38:56Speaker 3: same group of about fifteen people. They're clearly being paid
- 38:59Speaker 3: by somebody. Nobody cares who's paying them. Somebody is paying
- 39:02Speaker 3: them to and they're doing this at the homes of
- 39:06Speaker 3: other people as well, other elected officials. As well. This
- 39:10Speaker 3: is a concerted effort, but do you know where this
- 39:12Speaker 3: ends up?
- 39:14Speaker 1: Where's that?
- 39:15Speaker 3: If you want to see where this ends up, take
- 39:16Speaker 3: a look at Europe. Sadly, Europe has for a long time,
- 39:21Speaker 3: for centuries, been on the cutting edge of anti Semitism,
- 39:25Speaker 3: and you can look to Europe to see perhaps the
- 39:28Speaker 3: next step of where these college campuses are. This weekend,
- 39:31Speaker 3: the London police threatened to arrest a man for being
- 39:37Speaker 3: quote openly Jewish, and I want to read from a
- 39:42Speaker 3: post that Jonathan Turley put up this weekend quote the
- 39:45Speaker 3: London police are under fire this week for threatening to
- 39:47Speaker 3: arrest aman wearing a kuipa near the near a pro
- 39:51Speaker 3: Palestinian march. Officers inform Gideon Falter, head of the Campaign
- 39:56Speaker 3: Against Anti Semitism Watchdog, that he was quote and antagonizing
- 40:01Speaker 3: the protesters by being quote openly Jewish near such a march.
- 40:08Speaker 3: He was told that if he tried to cross the
- 40:11Speaker 3: street while being quote openly Jewish, he would be arrested
- 40:17Speaker 3: for breach of the peace. In the video police officer,
- 40:21Speaker 3: one police officer said quote, you are quite openly Jewish.
- 40:25Speaker 3: This is a pro Palestinian march. I'm not accusing you
- 40:29Speaker 3: of anything, but I'm worried about the reaction to your presence.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Another officer then adds later quote, you will be escorted
- 40:37Speaker 3: out of this area so you can go about your business,
- 40:39Speaker 3: go where you want freely, or if you choose to
- 40:42Speaker 3: remain here because you are causing a breach of peace
- 40:46Speaker 3: with all these other people, you will be arrested. Now
- 40:51Speaker 3: I want you to pause and reflect on that. In
- 40:54Speaker 3: London it is now an arrestable offense according to police,
- 41:00Speaker 3: to be openly Jewish, to wear a yamica.
- 41:04Speaker 1: You're the one.
- 41:05Speaker 3: If you are simply Jewish and and acknowledge your Jewish
- 41:09Speaker 3: heritage and don't hide it, that is grounds for being
- 41:14Speaker 3: arrested in London. That's where this heads. That is the
- 41:18Speaker 3: fruit of the cultural Marxist leftist ideology, that is the
- 41:23Speaker 3: fruit of the anti Semitism infusing our universities.
- 41:28Speaker 2: It's a reminder to pray for the Jewish people now
- 41:31Speaker 2: more than ever before, and the students on these college
- 41:34Speaker 2: campuses to keep them and the professors safe.
- 41:37Speaker 1: Don't forget the center.
- 41:38Speaker 2: And I do this podcast three days a week Monday,
- 41:41Speaker 2: Wednesday and Friday. There are a lot of big votes
- 41:43Speaker 2: coming up in DC this week. We're going to cover
- 41:45Speaker 2: all that for you on Wednesday, and make sure in
- 41:49Speaker 2: those in between days you grab my podcast, the Ben
- 41:52Speaker 2: Ferguson Podcasts. I'll keep you up to date on the
- 41:55Speaker 2: latest breaking news and the Center. I will see you
- 41:57Speaker 2: back here on Wednesday morning.
