- 0:15Speaker 1: milling bus things in the subbing me through, good Steve together, Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join join me. You gotta turn you are
- 1:24Speaker 1: you gotta turn to turn them out? Turn you got
- 1:44Speaker 1: to turn them out. Then turn the water the water
- 1:48Speaker 1: go come come on your back. Uh huh. I shall
- 2:02Speaker 1: well a good morning everybody, y'all listening to the voice
- 2:07Speaker 1: come on dig me naw one and only Steve Harley
- 2:10Speaker 1: got a radio show. I was. I had my head
- 2:15Speaker 1: down and it was thinking of what I wanted to
- 2:18Speaker 1: say this morning. But it kind of it's kind of
- 2:24Speaker 1: be something I've lived for a long time, and you know,
- 2:30Speaker 1: for a long time, you know, I had a lot
- 2:31Speaker 1: of faith in people. You know. It's strange too, because
- 2:35Speaker 1: you know, you know, my mother was a Sunday school teacher,
- 2:38Speaker 1: so of course I grew up around it, knowing the
- 2:42Speaker 1: scriptures and things like that. Not not a lot of them,
- 2:45Speaker 1: but you know, the ones I retained. But having her
- 2:49Speaker 1: as a mother was was a huge help and understand
- 2:52Speaker 1: about faith. But even with that, as I grew up,
- 2:57Speaker 1: I began to put a lot of faith in people,
- 3:00Speaker 1: and you know, I figured, you know, just like everybody else,
- 3:04Speaker 1: you know, man if I could just meet this person,
- 3:06Speaker 1: or if I could just sit down with that person,
- 3:09Speaker 1: or man if I could just get this person to
- 3:12Speaker 1: hear my ideal, or man if if this person could
- 3:15Speaker 1: hear my track, or man if I could just get
- 3:18Speaker 1: this in the hands or somebody in the know. I was,
- 3:22Speaker 1: like everybody else, I thought that way. You know, I
- 3:25Speaker 1: actually thought that if I could get in a certain
- 3:28Speaker 1: situation with a certain person, that if a certain person
- 3:31Speaker 1: were to meet me, that you know, it could change
- 3:34Speaker 1: everything for me. Oh man, Oh how wrong I was?
- 3:40Speaker 1: Oh how wrong I was? How long did I spend
- 3:43Speaker 1: feeling that way? And how many of you out there
- 3:46Speaker 1: possibly have felt that way before? You know, like even
- 3:49Speaker 1: in a relationship, this is the person for me, and
- 3:53Speaker 1: you know, you just lay claim to that, you know,
- 3:55Speaker 1: not necessarily being a fact, but you just lay claim
- 3:58Speaker 1: to it. This is the person for me, This is
- 4:01Speaker 1: the person that I want to spend the rest of
- 4:03Speaker 1: my life with. You know, sometimes, you know, we just
- 4:05Speaker 1: lay claim to stuff and it's not always what's in
- 4:07Speaker 1: our best interests, or it's not always a fact it's
- 4:10Speaker 1: just what we decided we want it. And I was
- 4:13Speaker 1: guilty of that just like anybody else. And I spent
- 4:17Speaker 1: a lot of years in my life putting faith in people. Man,
- 4:21Speaker 1: if I could tell you anything this morning, it's to
- 4:24Speaker 1: stop putting your faith in people and put your faith
- 4:27Speaker 1: in God where it counts the most. I mean, you
- 4:30Speaker 1: can get something out of this one. See, here's a
- 4:32Speaker 1: deal about a relationship with God. It's the same all
- 4:36Speaker 1: the time. He never changes. His word is one absolute.
- 4:42Speaker 1: His word doesn't have loopholes in it, none of that.
- 4:45Speaker 1: It's this is what it is. He's very clear. Now,
- 4:49Speaker 1: you can deviate off your end at a bargain, but
- 4:52Speaker 1: it don't stop what he says from being true. But
- 4:56Speaker 1: if he asks you to do something, if God asks
- 4:59Speaker 1: you to be a certain way, to do a little
- 5:01Speaker 1: something a certain way, and you don't do it that way,
- 5:04Speaker 1: then you know you could still possibly get by for
- 5:08Speaker 1: a while. But don't you understand that his end of
- 5:12Speaker 1: the deal stays the same, and as long as you're
- 5:14Speaker 1: not doing it the way you're supposed to, the results
- 5:16Speaker 1: are not going to be what you wanted to be.
- 5:19Speaker 1: And I did this for years and years and years
- 5:22Speaker 1: and I counted on people. And you know, I got
- 5:25Speaker 1: myself in a lot of situations, and I got out
- 5:28Speaker 1: one a dire situation that I'd been in for a
- 5:31Speaker 1: number of years. But he had protected me from years
- 5:34Speaker 1: prior to that. I didn't even know what was going on,
- 5:36Speaker 1: and then he made it away. It made me aware
- 5:39Speaker 1: of the problem. And then, man, lord ha mercy, I
- 5:43Speaker 1: was in a dismal situation. And then at the end
- 5:45Speaker 1: of the year I was free, free from it all.
- 5:49Speaker 1: But it was a decision that I had made that
- 5:52Speaker 1: led up to that, and in going through that process,
- 5:56Speaker 1: I had to learn something. Man. I learned a lot
- 5:58Speaker 1: about people. See, if you want to learn about your friends,
- 6:02Speaker 1: if you want to learn about your people people around you,
- 6:06Speaker 1: get yourself in some trouble, get yourself in a situation.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Oh man, you start looking around. Man, the field get
- 6:13Speaker 1: real clear when you're in trouble. The field clear is out.
- 6:18Speaker 1: When you're in doubt, when you don't know what to do,
- 6:20Speaker 1: when you need help it get real clear on the
- 6:23Speaker 1: play and field. Then don't it. Oh, But when things
- 6:26Speaker 1: is going right, it's time for a party. We throw
- 6:28Speaker 1: in a celebration. We were gonna We're gonna do one
- 6:32Speaker 1: down here. Oh man, there's plenty of people on the field.
- 6:35Speaker 1: But but but get yourself in a situation. You find
- 6:38Speaker 1: out rather quickly that old no, old no, everybody ain't here.
- 6:43Speaker 1: And that's when I started learning. And I'm telling you,
- 6:46Speaker 1: I had to start learning this for real until I
- 6:49Speaker 1: finally got it to stop putting my faith in people
- 6:52Speaker 1: and put all of mine in God where it counts
- 6:55Speaker 1: the most. Now is that to say that there are
- 6:57Speaker 1: people that you can't trust. No, that's not what I'm saying.
- 7:00Speaker 1: I ain't say you can't trust him, but you can't
- 7:03Speaker 1: dump your faith in him. I got it all riding
- 7:06Speaker 1: on what he say. I got it all riding on
- 7:09Speaker 1: what she say. Na, Na, No, I hear you saying it.
- 7:17Speaker 1: But I'm gonna keep my O on this situation because
- 7:20Speaker 1: I hear you saying it. But I'm gonna take this
- 7:23Speaker 1: faith of mine and instead of putting it in people,
- 7:26Speaker 1: I'm gonna put it in God where it counts the most.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Because his word is absolute. What he say he gonna do,
- 7:32Speaker 1: he gonna do what he says. He's not gonna tolerate,
- 7:34Speaker 1: He's not gonna tolerate. Now, you can make it you
- 7:37Speaker 1: can make it tolerable for yourself, but He's not gonna
- 7:39Speaker 1: tolerate it. And that's just the end of the line.
- 7:42Speaker 1: And so you know, I'm wondering how many people out
- 7:45Speaker 1: there finding themselves in a situation like me, or maybe
- 7:48Speaker 1: you've gotten yourself in a situation because you put your
- 7:51Speaker 1: faith in some people and now you wound up in
- 7:53Speaker 1: a different type of situation. Now, let me ask you,
- 7:55Speaker 1: whetting people at the only one on that I found
- 8:01Speaker 1: when I was in my deepest trouble, when me and
- 8:04Speaker 1: my wife were in our darkest situation, was God. It
- 8:08Speaker 1: is the only one was the only one who was
- 8:11Speaker 1: just right there, right there all the way through. Now,
- 8:18Speaker 1: let me explain something to you. Because you have this
- 8:21Speaker 1: relationship with God, it does not mean, it does not
- 8:25Speaker 1: mean now that it won't get it won't still be
- 8:28Speaker 1: a situation, you understand. But what He will do is
- 8:33Speaker 1: protect you during that period. He'll cover you during that
- 8:38Speaker 1: period that it is a situation. He will give you
- 8:41Speaker 1: the strength to overcome the situation when it turns into
- 8:45Speaker 1: a situation. Then when he cracks it open for you
- 8:49Speaker 1: and the sun is bright and shining, what he don't
- 8:51Speaker 1: want you to do is when he gets sunny again,
- 8:54Speaker 1: to forget about him who was there when it was
- 8:56Speaker 1: dark for you. See, I used to do that too,
- 9:00Speaker 1: you know. I was Oh, man, I did it. I'm
- 9:02Speaker 1: telling you right now, I did it. But I'm telling
- 9:05Speaker 1: you man, when I learned a very serious lesson and
- 9:09Speaker 1: I watched some people I thought were friends of mine
- 9:13Speaker 1: just sort of casually remove themselves from the situation, then
- 9:18Speaker 1: I said, okay. Me and Margie looked around. We said, okay,
- 9:22Speaker 1: it's just me, you and God. And when we started
- 9:25Speaker 1: conducting ourselves accordingly. So when it's sunny for us, we
- 9:30Speaker 1: remember God. We stay prayerful, we keep talking to him.
- 9:34Speaker 1: We thank him for the sunshine, we thank him for
- 9:37Speaker 1: the dark days that he allowed us to do, who
- 9:39Speaker 1: allowed us to survive it and turn it into sunny days.
- 9:42Speaker 1: And we talked to him constantly to protect us of
- 9:45Speaker 1: our future enemies. And that's what the deal is. So
- 9:48Speaker 1: if I was everybody, I would stop putting your faith
- 9:51Speaker 1: in people and put your trust in God where it
- 9:53Speaker 1: really does count the most, it really really does. You're listening,
- 10:01Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, The Steve Harvey Morning Show is about
- 10:06Speaker 1: to begin, rolling, rolling, rolling down the wheel ladies and gentlemen.

- 11:41Speaker 1: you ain't really mad at it? Ain't we know what
- 11:44Speaker 1: we lost? John Thompson, Georgia. Yes, yes, we're losing the legends. Man.
- 11:54Speaker 1: This year twenty twenty hearts are hearts are just still heavy?
- 12:01Speaker 1: Is a best man, It's no joke. It's not for
- 12:04Speaker 1: the faint at heart. And he was crazy. And I
- 12:08Speaker 1: kid you not because somebody asked me, as they said,
- 12:12Speaker 1: mister hag just got to be the worst year of
- 12:14Speaker 1: your life, sir, it's not even close. I can't believe that.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Oh no, oh, oh no no no, oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Well,
- 12:28Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, I mean, I mean, this has
- 12:30Speaker 1: been some unique stuff that has happened. To quarantine, the virus,
- 12:34Speaker 1: to social distancing the man, it's unique stuff, but it
- 12:38Speaker 1: ain't the worst that's personally. Oh you're saying, Oh, absolutely,
- 12:44Speaker 1: I've had. I've had some dramas in my life, man,
- 12:48Speaker 1: that extended far beyond the quarantine. Yeah. Now, I've had
- 12:53Speaker 1: some ugly years, man, And that's sad to say, but
- 12:55Speaker 1: it's also true. But it's also a testament to the
- 12:59Speaker 1: strength that God can provide you as a person. That
- 13:03Speaker 1: and because of it, I can face this challenging time
- 13:09Speaker 1: of COVID and racial injustice and the people in the
- 13:14Speaker 1: White House. I could survive this because my track record,
- 13:18Speaker 1: just like yours, of surviving rough times, and so I
- 13:23Speaker 1: faced this with a little bit more confidence than some
- 13:27Speaker 1: people would who haven't had the same experience as I guess.
- 13:31Speaker 1: All right, well said well put coming up at thirty
- 13:34Speaker 1: two minutes after the hour, get ready for Ask the
- 13:38Speaker 1: CLO the Chief Love Officer the CLO right after this

- 13:52Speaker 1: all you have to do is submit your questions to
- 13:54Speaker 1: Steve Harvey FM dot com. This one is from Trey
- 13:58Speaker 1: and Tallahassee. Steve says, I'm a thirty one year old
- 14:01Speaker 1: male engaged to the love of my life. I recently
- 14:04Speaker 1: got a great job as a finance manager at a
- 14:07Speaker 1: high end car dealership, and my fiance came by the
- 14:10Speaker 1: dealership a few weeks ago and she was greeted by
- 14:12Speaker 1: several gorgeous black girls that work there, and I could
- 14:16Speaker 1: tell by her reaction that I was about to have
- 14:19Speaker 1: some problems. She asked if the girls always worked in
- 14:22Speaker 1: tight dresses and heavy makeup like a fool. I said yes,
- 14:27Speaker 1: because sex sells now several times the weeks she asked.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Several times a week, she asked me, are we good?
- 14:34Speaker 1: I must admit that the women make my job more enjoyable,
- 14:37Speaker 1: but I'm committed to my fiance. Should I worry about
- 14:40Speaker 1: her being insecure. Dog, you did it, bro, Come on, man,
- 14:47Speaker 1: you brought this party on yourself. Why did you say that?
- 14:51Speaker 1: Did ain't always dressed like that? Yeah? Second, my own
- 14:55Speaker 1: pay them girls, no attention. I got work to do.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I'm a finance director. No, you can't do whatever you
- 15:01Speaker 1: think you gotta do. Say your call. You gotta get
- 15:03Speaker 1: these people in here so I can make this finance work. Right,
- 15:06Speaker 1: So you don't well, yeah, that's what I gotten. Yeah,
- 15:11Speaker 1: but guess what the what I ain't gonna say is yeah,
- 15:14Speaker 1: you know, sex sale. Yeah? Yeah, baby, they look good,
- 15:19Speaker 1: don't they. Girl? You're right heavy makeup girl, that's makeup,
- 15:32Speaker 1: all right. So just pretend like he didn't even see them.
- 15:38Speaker 1: That was the best way to handle that, you're saying, Cela,
- 15:41Speaker 1: all right. This one's from Nicole in Chicago. Nicole says,
- 15:45Speaker 1: I overheard my husband talking on the phone to a
- 15:48Speaker 1: female in my house. He has a history of cheating
- 15:52Speaker 1: on me, but he promised to be faithful in marriage.
- 15:56Speaker 1: We've been married for seven months and I was in
- 15:59Speaker 1: our base and folding clothes when I decided to call
- 16:02Speaker 1: my best friend. My cell phone was upstairs, so I
- 16:06Speaker 1: used the home phone. I picked up the receiver, and
- 16:09Speaker 1: my husband was telling a female that he has a
- 16:12Speaker 1: lovely wife and he is very happily married. I hung up,
- 16:16Speaker 1: and when he heard it, he came down to the basement.
- 16:19Speaker 1: He said he had to call her to give her closure.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Is this a quick and convenient lie? Or should I
- 16:26Speaker 1: be worried about him cheating? Why? Again, I had to
- 16:34Speaker 1: give her closure right from the house phone. Yeah, I
- 16:39Speaker 1: thought you know her number? He called her. But see
- 16:49Speaker 1: he might have went into that speech when you picked
- 16:52Speaker 1: up the phone. M that's what I think. I think
- 16:55Speaker 1: you're right about that, you know, because why is he
- 16:58Speaker 1: calling her from the house phone? Yeah? I don't get that. Man.
- 17:02Speaker 1: That don't make no sense. Lies, all lies. Seven months
- 17:06Speaker 1: of marriage, still lying? She what is he calling to
- 17:09Speaker 1: my giving closure for what? Yeah? I thought men didn't
- 17:13Speaker 1: do closure so well, okay, so now you know that
- 17:17Speaker 1: what you think? That was a big fat lie seven
- 17:22Speaker 1: months in? But she said it though, Steve, she said
- 17:27Speaker 1: he has a history of cheating on me, but he
- 17:30Speaker 1: promised to be faithful in marriage. She said that, Okay,
- 17:34Speaker 1: so that was a lie too. Huh. All we can
- 17:40Speaker 1: do is moan everybody doing it. So what should she
- 17:46Speaker 1: do this woman? What should she do? I mean, I
- 17:49Speaker 1: don't know what she should do? You. First of all,
- 17:51Speaker 1: you gotta trust your instincts for starters. What does it
- 17:54Speaker 1: tell you? But all of this, I'm calling women for closure.
- 17:58Speaker 1: I catch people on the phone all it's too much
- 18:03Speaker 1: you seeing somebody you ain't. Now, what's it gonna be? Now,
- 18:07Speaker 1: that's possible. You could be talking to people just as friends.
- 18:10Speaker 1: But you know you can't have that track record and
- 18:14Speaker 1: then keep playing the record. Now, right, did you blow
- 18:18Speaker 1: your lips? That was? Oh? That's me? All right, okay,
- 18:29Speaker 1: So trust your instincts comes from the all right? Roderick
- 18:34Speaker 1: and Las Vegas says. I'm twenty seven years old with
- 18:37Speaker 1: a great girlfriend that loves me dearly. She cooks and
- 18:41Speaker 1: cleans and gives me money when I'm broke. She's affectionate
- 18:45Speaker 1: and gives me the best backrubs. She's down from me
- 18:48Speaker 1: no matter what. I love her, but I'm still not
- 18:52Speaker 1: fully committed to our relationship. I haven't cheated on her,
- 18:56Speaker 1: but I want to and fight the urge to. I
- 19:00Speaker 1: still want to have fun with other girls, and I
- 19:02Speaker 1: feel like I'm missing out on something. I hate to waste.
- 19:05Speaker 1: My girl's time and possibly hurt her. I just need
- 19:08Speaker 1: more time. My dad says, the grass isn't always greener
- 19:13Speaker 1: on the other side, is he right? Hell yeah, he right?
- 19:18Speaker 1: Hell yeah, your daddy right, The grass ain't always greener
- 19:22Speaker 1: on the other side. For see, you don't you twenty seven?
- 19:25Speaker 1: It ain't out your system. You say you got a
- 19:28Speaker 1: great girl, cooks all this heid back lubs, all this here,
- 19:33Speaker 1: but here the part door give you money when you broke?
- 19:37Speaker 1: Why is she with your ass? I got you got
- 19:41Speaker 1: a great girl, but you just subscribe somebody you need
- 19:44Speaker 1: back lubs all the time. You can't cook, and your
- 19:47Speaker 1: ass stay broke and clean? Man? What does she and
- 19:52Speaker 1: you sloppy? You can't cook, you're sloppy. She give you
- 19:58Speaker 1: back gloves and you broke. The question for me is
- 20:01Speaker 1: what does she see in you? Now? You're danding? Told
- 20:04Speaker 1: you right, but you're gonna mess up and blow a
- 20:06Speaker 1: good thing messing around But you ain't. I mean, bro really,
- 20:09Speaker 1: what you need to focus on is getting yourself together.
- 20:12Speaker 1: You want to mess with some other girls, go ahead,
- 20:14Speaker 1: but what you are doing is exactly this. You are
- 20:17Speaker 1: wasting this girl's time. Yeah, and you are going to
- 20:20Speaker 1: hurt her because you're not gonna stop wanting what you want.
- 20:23Speaker 1: And until you go over there and scratch that itch,
- 20:26Speaker 1: it's only cracking because you ain't ready to sit down.
- 20:30Speaker 1: All right, thank you, cello. Take Hey guys, all right,
- 20:35Speaker 1: Coming up next, it is the nephew in the building
- 20:38Speaker 1: with Run that Prank Back? Right after this you're listening
- 20:43Speaker 1: show coming up at the top of the hour, Miss
- 20:46Speaker 1: Annah standing by with today's national news, plus an other
- 20:49Speaker 1: entertainment news. Some sad news from the college sports world.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Legendary legendary Georgetown coach George Thompson Junior passed away. Yeah,
- 21:00Speaker 1: that was really sad. Um. He was seventy eight years old.
- 21:02Speaker 1: We'll talk about that. Plus in celebrity wedding news and
- 21:06Speaker 1: he see Nash is married again and she introduced her
- 21:09Speaker 1: wife to the world. We'll talk about all of these
- 21:11Speaker 1: stories at the top of the hour, but right now,
- 21:13Speaker 1: the nephew is here was run that Prank Back? That's
- 21:16Speaker 1: what you got for us. I need a reference, you
- 21:21Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. You know, that's how you do
- 21:23Speaker 1: it when you when you want to know it by somebody,
- 21:25Speaker 1: you want a reference. Yeah, I need a reference in instead.
- 21:30Speaker 1: So that's that's Yeah, that's how we're doing a reference.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Let's go come on, care Hello, Yeah, I'm trying to
- 21:40Speaker 1: I'm trying to read Scotty please. Yeah. Yeah, what's up, Scotty?

- 28:45Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to morning show. In today's
- 28:52Speaker 1: entertainment news, another legend has been called home. John Thompson Junior,
- 28:56Speaker 1: the first black basketball head coach to win the n
- 28:59Speaker 1: seed A National Championship, passed away on Sunday. He was
- 29:04Speaker 1: seventy eight years old. His family said that mister Thompson
- 29:07Speaker 1: had been suffering from multiple health challenges. John Thompson was
- 29:11Speaker 1: the first black head coach to win the NCAA Championship,
- 29:15Speaker 1: the national championship, and he coached at Georgetown University for
- 29:19Speaker 1: twenty seven years. He sent some bad boys to the
- 29:23Speaker 1: Prolactric Allen Iverson. Yeah, oh, he said, some bad boys
- 29:32Speaker 1: to the pros Alan I tweeted, tweeted yesterday he saved
- 29:36Speaker 1: my life. No man, I believe that, no man that
- 29:43Speaker 1: he was a special coach. Man. He took kids that
- 29:47Speaker 1: nobody else wanted fathered them and turn them into something.
- 29:53Speaker 1: He and Alan Iverson's correct. Wow, and Allen Iverson wanted
- 29:58Speaker 1: one of them dudes, man, Alton Ivan what still what history? Yeah,
- 30:11Speaker 1: we're talking about practice. I mean is that we're talking
- 30:13Speaker 1: about we're talking about he didn't need to go No,
- 30:17Speaker 1: we're not talking about real brief. Yeah, real brief. Good guy.
- 30:25Speaker 1: He was godfather coaching for black coaches. You know, when
- 30:31Speaker 1: you take them to the title. That's why he are
- 30:34Speaker 1: so many like Dick Cheney owes him a dead of
- 30:37Speaker 1: gratitude to dude the coach at Arkansas, all of them
- 30:42Speaker 1: dudes to speak about John Thompson, Man, he put black
- 30:47Speaker 1: coaching on the map when he won at ncuble a
- 30:51Speaker 1: thing man, the owls of Temple Cheney, the razor back
- 30:56Speaker 1: or what's his boy's name with the mustache. I can't
- 31:00Speaker 1: think I'm looking at him, big thick mustache. Oh, yes,
- 31:04Speaker 1: black coach. That's when Todd Day was hooping back in
- 31:09Speaker 1: the day. You don't. You don't understand who he made?
- 31:11Speaker 1: No ducks, that's come on, j hey man, let me
- 31:17Speaker 1: tell you something, Dick change, Yes, was I back get
- 31:22Speaker 1: back on d the house on fire, get back? He
- 31:26Speaker 1: used to say that to the players house. Yeah, to
- 31:31Speaker 1: make them get back on defense. Get back on defense,
- 31:34Speaker 1: your house on far black dude, head on that damn.
- 31:38Speaker 1: I said, Okay, that's drastic. Yeah, but let me tell
- 31:42Speaker 1: you what. They got their ass back on. D y.
- 31:45Speaker 1: The urgency was there. Yeah, dog, I heard him do it,
- 31:49Speaker 1: so I'm not making it up. Ain't a joke. That's
- 31:52Speaker 1: how he didn't. But Thompson was the lead of his son.
- 31:56Speaker 1: Took over in his footsteps too. But that boy Graham,
- 32:00Speaker 1: he puts a lot of boys. Kenny Smith paid tribute
- 32:02Speaker 1: to her, even though Kenney went to a North Carolina Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:07Speaker 1: our condolence is going to the John Thompson family for sure.
- 32:11Speaker 1: Great man switching gears now and other celebrity wedding news.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Our girl we know her, Niecy Nash, actress, comedian. Most
- 32:21Speaker 1: recently we know her from Claus got married again. She
- 32:24Speaker 1: introduced her wife to the world. Niecy announced the marriage
- 32:26Speaker 1: and social her wife. Yes, yes, is that what you're saying? Yeah,
- 32:33Speaker 1: I did. She announced the marriage on social media saying
- 32:36Speaker 1: she's now missus Carol Denise Betts Nisi filed for divorce
- 32:39Speaker 1: from her husband Jay Tucker back in December, so we
- 32:42Speaker 1: got to say congratulations, a big congratulations to niecy Nash
- 32:46Speaker 1: and her wife, singer Jessica Betts. Make you happy, all right, Steve?
- 32:52Speaker 1: Time now for miss Anna Lay gentlemen, miss Anne Trull
- 32:56Speaker 1: hang everybody, and yes, here we go. Got a lot
- 32:58Speaker 1: of news to tell you, and someone wanted to get
- 33:00Speaker 1: a little bit deeper into authorities say that a man
- 33:02Speaker 1: who was fatally shot in Portland, Oregon, the other night
- 33:05Speaker 1: during clashes between anti racists and pro police supporters, is
- 33:09Speaker 1: identified as Aaron J. Danielson. Danielson reportedly a member of
- 33:12Speaker 1: the right wing group Patriots Prayer, though police are still looking,
- 33:16Speaker 1: they say, into whether his death was directly linked to
- 33:18Speaker 1: some earlier clashes between a caravan of Trump supporters and
- 33:22Speaker 1: some counter protests as White House folkesman Kaylee mcinetny claims
- 33:26Speaker 1: that Trump supporters will quote good Americans who wanted to
- 33:29Speaker 1: protest peacefully when asked if the President would condemn the
- 33:33Speaker 1: murders and Kenosha, Wisconsin of two anti racist demonstrators alleged
- 33:37Speaker 1: by a white team from Illinois after police shot to
- 33:40Speaker 1: Jacob Blake in the back and paralyzing mcinetny said the
- 33:43Speaker 1: President had declined to weigh in, but that's changed. He
- 33:46Speaker 1: has weighed in. He's now saying that the white teenager
- 33:48Speaker 1: who shot three men in total was defending himself. President
- 33:53Speaker 1: Trump has scheduled to visit Kenosha, Wisconsin, later today, even
- 33:56Speaker 1: though the mayor there and the governor Wisconsin do not
- 33:59Speaker 1: think it's the best time for him to come there.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Vice President Biden meanwhile says that while Trump may quote
- 34:03Speaker 1: believe that mouthing the words law and order makes him strong,
- 34:06Speaker 1: his failure to call on his own supporters to stop
- 34:08Speaker 1: acting as an armed militia in this country shows how
- 34:11Speaker 1: weak he is. That's a quote, and Biden ads, is
- 34:13Speaker 1: anybody think that's going to be less violence in America
- 34:16Speaker 1: if Donald Trump is reelected since racial violence, COVID nineteen, health,
- 34:20Speaker 1: and economic strife have all occurred under his watch. According
- 34:25Speaker 1: to the latest tally by John Coppin's University, where than
- 34:28Speaker 1: six million Americans have now been infected with the coronavirus,
- 34:31Speaker 1: some one hundred and eighty three thousand US residents have
- 34:34Speaker 1: died one hundred and eighty three thousand, and if that's
- 34:37Speaker 1: not bad enough, experts say that while six million of
- 34:39Speaker 1: the confirmed number of cases that may be an under count.
- 34:43Speaker 1: Epidemiologists estimate that tens of millions more are not recorded
- 34:47Speaker 1: because for every one reporter case, they say they have
- 34:50Speaker 1: been at least ten other infections. Hurricane Laura toppled the
- 34:55Speaker 1: controversial Confederate monument that was situated in the heart of
- 34:58Speaker 1: downtown Lake Charles, only a few weeks after a jury
- 35:01Speaker 1: voted to keep that particular Miami in place. As you
- 35:04Speaker 1: heard moments ago, legendary Georgetown University basketball coach John Thompson
- 35:08Speaker 1: has died. As a player, John Thompson won two NBA
- 35:11Speaker 1: titles at the Boston Celtics. At Georgetown, he coached the
- 35:14Speaker 1: Hyas for nearly three decades, leading them to three Final
- 35:18Speaker 1: four appearances, and in nineteen eighty four, he became the
- 35:20Speaker 1: first black head coach to win the NAC the nc Double,
- 35:24Speaker 1: a national championship. Thompson coached and mentor such greats as
- 35:28Speaker 1: Patrick Ewing Al Nivison. As you heard, he was seventy
- 35:30Speaker 1: eight years old. And finally, actress Nias Nash, Yes, she
- 35:34Speaker 1: got married yesterday, the singer Jessica Betts. Both women kept
- 35:38Speaker 1: their relationship kind of quiet. Nisy was divorced from a
- 35:41Speaker 1: guy named Jason Taylor in March. I guess you could
- 35:43Speaker 1: say this is her coming out as well. Now back
- 35:45Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to the
- 35:48Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, what's going on in
- 35:51Speaker 1: political news? Yesterday, Joe Biden accused President Trump of sewing
- 35:56Speaker 1: chaos amid protests. Did you guys see Trump's tweet when
- 36:00Speaker 1: he called the mayor of Portland a fool? Really? What? Really? Yes? Yeah,
- 36:07Speaker 1: because he asked you not to come to the city
- 36:09Speaker 1: because you would just incite people and make it worse
- 36:12Speaker 1: because you're the divider in chief. Also, President Trump will
- 36:16Speaker 1: be headed to Kenosha, Wisconsin today to meet with law enforcement,
- 36:20Speaker 1: despite the governor's opposition. What, Tommy, but they don't want
- 36:24Speaker 1: him over there? Yeah, so what if you If they
- 36:30Speaker 1: don't want you, what is your aunt's going over there?
- 36:33Speaker 1: So he's the president, he can that's never to say
- 36:38Speaker 1: if they don't want you over that. He's meeting with
- 36:42Speaker 1: law He's meeting with people that want to meet with him. Obviously,
- 36:46Speaker 1: the President is going to Kenosha today to meet with
- 36:49Speaker 1: law enforcement despite the governor's opposition, and Trump will not
- 36:52Speaker 1: meet with the family of Jacob Blake. Also, the President
- 36:56Speaker 1: refuses to condemn the white seventeen year old who killed
- 36:59Speaker 1: two people and injured the third during the Connectional protests.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Here we go with that again. I mean two systems
- 37:05Speaker 1: of justice in the US because they left the seventeen
- 37:09Speaker 1: year old walk down the street. It's really na what
- 37:13Speaker 1: the President said about it too, you know, I mean
- 37:17Speaker 1: a lot of people are looking at this. You know
- 37:19Speaker 1: he was afraid to lose his life. Look, man, first
- 37:24Speaker 1: of all, you don't have the right to take a
- 37:26Speaker 1: gun down the street and kill somebody, just like police don't.
- 37:30Speaker 1: But when this president won't, won't stand up and take
- 37:34Speaker 1: a stand on that type of violence, you know exactly
- 37:37Speaker 1: who we're dealing with. He's he's trying to win the
- 37:40Speaker 1: election by scaring people. Now what Joe Biden has done
- 37:43Speaker 1: that has been brilliant. It's Joe Biden says, no, it
- 37:47Speaker 1: won't be a worse America if I'm president. It can't
- 37:51Speaker 1: get any worse. And stop saying what will happen if
- 37:54Speaker 1: I'm president? All the buildings are. I condemn policetality, but
- 38:01Speaker 1: I condemn rioting and looting and all this is happening
- 38:05Speaker 1: on President Trump's watch. This is the America he has
- 38:10Speaker 1: created because instead of trying to heal people, he's constantly
- 38:14Speaker 1: spewing out divisive rhetoric. And it's seventeen year old. He's
- 38:18Speaker 1: not even old enough to carry a weapon like that, right,
- 38:23Speaker 1: he's a minor. Right, So he rot the law by
- 38:25Speaker 1: even walking around carrying that, and you won't even condemn
- 38:29Speaker 1: him for that, let alone. No, because he's a Trump supporter. Well,
- 38:33Speaker 1: his ass won't be voting this year. Promise you hard
- 38:36Speaker 1: to vote dot org to register. Please, only sixty two
- 38:40Speaker 1: days left until November third, vote dot or did you
- 38:44Speaker 1: hear what you're saying? Vote dot org Both dot coming
- 38:49Speaker 1: up in thirty four minutes after the hour. We'll talk
- 38:52Speaker 1: more about voting right after this. You're listening to all right, Uh,
- 39:00Speaker 1: we can't say it enough. Sixty two days until November third.
- 39:03Speaker 1: We want you to go right now and get registered
- 39:05Speaker 1: to vote at vote dot org to get your dates
- 39:10Speaker 1: so you'll know when to vote early in day. This
- 39:13Speaker 1: is paramount. Okay, stunned, this is not a drill. If
- 39:21Speaker 1: black people don't get to the polls. I've been watching
- 39:24Speaker 1: the NBA players bag everybody that baseball players bag. I've
- 39:29Speaker 1: been watching all the news commentators. Everybody listen to me.
- 39:34Speaker 1: If you want everybody to know that black lives matter,
- 39:40Speaker 1: then you have to make sure that black lives count.
- 39:43Speaker 1: And you got to count by feeling out census, and
- 39:46Speaker 1: you got to count by voting. You can stop being
- 39:49Speaker 1: the faceless crowd. If you want us to be considered
- 39:53Speaker 1: as as we matter, we matter when we count. You've
- 39:59Speaker 1: If you want black back lives to really matter, black
- 40:01Speaker 1: lives have to count. They count in the census, they
- 40:05Speaker 1: count in the voting polls. If you go to the
- 40:08Speaker 1: polls in massive numbers to make the statement that you
- 40:11Speaker 1: need to make in this election, you can change the
- 40:14Speaker 1: face of where this country goes for years to come,
- 40:17Speaker 1: and you will send a message to the man in
- 40:19Speaker 1: the White House that we are no longer accepting this
- 40:22Speaker 1: type of behavior. Because if we want racial justice, you
- 40:25Speaker 1: can't have a person in the White House that ain't
- 40:27Speaker 1: trying to pass out none to make no damn sense.
- 40:32Speaker 1: We can't keep screaming for racial injustice, start in police
- 40:36Speaker 1: brutality when the president supports both. He supports police brutality.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Every time you say black lives matter, he say Blue
- 40:44Speaker 1: Lives Matter. Stop acting like this thing called justice is pie,
- 40:49Speaker 1: where if we get a bigger piece, you get less.
- 40:52Speaker 1: We just want the same thing. We want to eat
- 40:55Speaker 1: from the same pie everybody else eating from, because chances
- 40:58Speaker 1: are we made the pie, we cooked it. We gotta
- 41:02Speaker 1: get to the polls. We have to do our parts.
- 41:04Speaker 1: We only have one vote, but use it, like you
- 41:07Speaker 1: Steve said, make it count. We have one choice at
- 41:11Speaker 1: the polls. We have Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Listen
- 41:14Speaker 1: to me. We stop saying what is he gonna do
- 41:19Speaker 1: for us? Ask yourself this question the dude that's in
- 41:22Speaker 1: there now, not only what has he done for you?
- 41:25Speaker 1: What has he done to you? M see y'all tripping
- 41:29Speaker 1: man with all this, what they're gonna do for us?
- 41:32Speaker 1: Ain't nobody gonna do nothing for you? Per se point Blake,
- 41:39Speaker 1: you know what you know? You know somebody shore is
- 41:41Speaker 1: doing something to you. Though. You know what blows me away? Man?
- 41:45Speaker 1: When when when there's looting going on, they blame it
- 41:50Speaker 1: on Black Lives Matter peaceful protesters? Right? Yeah, but now
- 41:54Speaker 1: when there is a shooting in a school, you don't
- 41:58Speaker 1: blame that on n r A. You' you're gonna do that. Hey, no,
- 42:04Speaker 1: you're not doing that. And you know why. Tommy nr
- 42:09Speaker 1: A is one of the largest lobbyists in the United States. Yes,
- 42:14Speaker 1: they contribute more money. Guns is profit, man, Who do
- 42:21Speaker 1: you think? I don't know? Guns is profit? This profit
- 42:24Speaker 1: in the hood. And they accomplished two things in the hood.
- 42:28Speaker 1: They keep crime high, they keep the prison population full,
- 42:34Speaker 1: and they're killing off a portion of a wonderful generation
- 42:38Speaker 1: that can be contributed and making contributions to this world
- 42:42Speaker 1: of society we live in. See, ain't nobody trying to
- 42:46Speaker 1: stop poverty. Cause poverty leads to crime. Crime leads to
- 42:51Speaker 1: more inmates. They're making money off it. It's a cur
- 42:59Speaker 1: Come on, man, we got to get smart place. Oh
- 43:06Speaker 1: systematic racism. Then the police don't care about us. They're
- 43:12Speaker 1: just killing us. Man in the middle of Black lives
- 43:16Speaker 1: matter more, some more murders, some more shootings because they
- 43:20Speaker 1: don't care. And for them to shore and that are
- 43:24Speaker 1: no consequences, nothing happens to them. So they continue to
- 43:28Speaker 1: do it. And here's something gonna happen if we vote though, Yeah,
- 43:31Speaker 1: that's true. There we go. We can change it. We
- 43:34Speaker 1: certainly can. All right, We're gonna move on here and
- 43:37Speaker 1: switch gears with the nephew and his prank prank phone call.
- 43:40Speaker 1: Almost said Cone falls files phone call. Yeah, daddy doing
- 43:46Speaker 1: cone files. That's coming up right after this. You're listening
- 43:51Speaker 1: to show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 43:56Speaker 1: right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today.
- 44:00Speaker 1: The subject picked me or your mama. Okay, pick me
- 44:07Speaker 1: or your mama, my mama, you got my MAMAI okay,
- 44:16Speaker 1: we'll get to that, but right now the nephew is
- 44:18Speaker 1: here for today's prank phone call. What do you have
- 44:21Speaker 1: for us today? Nev love, et cetera. Oh, you know
- 44:28Speaker 1: that's that, that's that, that's that, that's that, etc. Charity,
- 44:32Speaker 1: et cetera. I don't I don't use I don't use
- 44:35Speaker 1: et cetera a lot. So when I do you that,
- 44:36Speaker 1: I try to expound on it love, exectly, etc. Period.
- 44:43Speaker 1: I don't know how to spell expected. Body, you know
- 44:45Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. Ex Let's go Katy. Hello, Hello,
- 44:48Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach out Kaylin Kylin. Oh no, she's
- 44:51Speaker 1: not here right now. Who was speaking? This is doctor
- 44:54Speaker 1: Elbert Listen. I was giving a call. Are you able
- 44:56Speaker 1: to leave a message for it for me. Yeah, yeah, okay,
- 44:59Speaker 1: would you let her know her sessions will be on
- 45:01Speaker 1: Wednesdays at seven third sessions? What sessions you're talking about? Session? Well, actually,
- 45:06Speaker 1: she signed up for a class. Uh an eight week
- 45:09Speaker 1: class and it's every Wednesday night at seven thirty. Okay,
- 45:12Speaker 1: what classes are you talking about? What kind of class?
- 45:15Speaker 1: This is? Love et cetera? Have you heard of us? No? Okay,
- 45:19Speaker 1: well let me kind of give you a little briefing here.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Kaylin actually came in and filled out to take some
- 45:24Speaker 1: classes and were love et cetera. So we teach different things. Uh,
- 45:28Speaker 1: what is it like a seminar or something? Well, you
- 45:31Speaker 1: we teach poor play, intimacy, sensual massages and things like that.
- 45:36Speaker 1: And she I was actually here when she came and
- 45:38Speaker 1: filled out the paperwork. She said she wanted to screwce
- 45:41Speaker 1: up her love life with her husband. Are you her husband? Yeah? Yeah,
- 45:45Speaker 1: I'm I'm a husband. But what I'm saying is is
- 45:48Speaker 1: it's like a like a joint thing. Am I supposed
- 45:49Speaker 1: to be there or something? No? No, no, no, no,
- 45:51Speaker 1: this is actually her wanting to Actually I'm if you
- 45:55Speaker 1: don't know about it, I'm assuming she wants to surprise
- 45:57Speaker 1: you and show you some different things. When when she
- 46:00Speaker 1: finishes her sessions? So when did uh? When when did
- 46:03Speaker 1: she come in? Like she came in? Where where y'all located?
- 46:06Speaker 1: First of all, Okay, she actually came in a couple
- 46:08Speaker 1: of weeks ago and she filled out the paperwork. We're
- 46:10Speaker 1: in the downtown area. She filled it out. She said
- 46:13Speaker 1: she was very excited. She wanted to do some different
- 46:15Speaker 1: things for her husband. We just asked if she gets
- 46:18Speaker 1: here a little earlier, probably fifteen minutes earlier, so she
- 46:20Speaker 1: can shower and put a robe on, and then we
- 46:22Speaker 1: can we can start class. Who who whoa whoa shower?
- 46:26Speaker 1: Shower and rose? What's that? What's that for? I mean,
- 46:29Speaker 1: you're not you're not upset about this right now? I mean,
- 46:32Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with you know us. We
- 46:33Speaker 1: mean we know. I mean we married a couple, you
- 46:35Speaker 1: know what I mean? So you know, anything the spice
- 46:37Speaker 1: spice up the marriage. But you know, as far as
- 46:39Speaker 1: me not being involved and her going out the bar
- 46:42Speaker 1: so and you're talking about taking the bath and robe
- 46:44Speaker 1: and all the other stuff. Man, she don't need to
- 46:46Speaker 1: be there for no, for no meth like that. Man, Well, no, no, sir,
- 46:49Speaker 1: it's nothing like that. I mean it's it's it's basically
- 46:52Speaker 1: a class what people get in touch with her with
- 46:54Speaker 1: their sensitive side and you get to actually, you know,
- 46:57Speaker 1: you learn about for play, what takes put about talking
- 47:00Speaker 1: about eight weeks? Though eight weeks? Eight sir, you might
- 47:04Speaker 1: you must even how y'all even eight weeks it's only
- 47:08Speaker 1: one night a week. It's only on Wednesday, So really
- 47:10Speaker 1: you only have eight sessions eight sessions exactly. Okay, So
- 47:14Speaker 1: why why did she have to have a role though,
- 47:16Speaker 1: I mean why she not? Why she just not showing
- 47:18Speaker 1: up at the work or whatever. Well, you have to
- 47:19Speaker 1: bring your rope, sir. Everyone showers and then they put
- 47:22Speaker 1: their robe on and we we actually coached them through.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Here's how four play goes. Here's the intimacy, here's sensual massaging.
- 47:29Speaker 1: No no, no, no, no, fan you you get you
- 47:31Speaker 1: getting it twisted. What I'm asking you is you you
- 47:34Speaker 1: you're really not explaining yourself enough, Like what do y'all do?
- 47:38Speaker 1: Like like a classroom said, if I'm in the class,
- 47:41Speaker 1: I'm taking a class. There's nobody touching me, ain't no,
- 47:44Speaker 1: ain't no cold coming off, a nobody taking no group showers,
- 47:48Speaker 1: caring on what you got, what you sound like? What's
- 47:51Speaker 1: going Nothing? Nothing like that at all. But we do
- 47:54Speaker 1: come in contact with our sensual side. Now she we'll
- 47:58Speaker 1: have a partner in class. She'll deal with that one partner.
- 48:01Speaker 1: It's not until the fourth session that we really get
- 48:04Speaker 1: into some strong physical contact. Man, what are you talking about?
- 48:08Speaker 1: What are you talking about? You're talking about a partner
- 48:10Speaker 1: like you're talking about another woman like some of my teammate.
- 48:12Speaker 1: It something what you're talking about? You call about another dude?
- 48:14Speaker 1: Everyone has the opposite sex partner. Yeah, you got to
- 48:17Speaker 1: be out your mind, sir. Don't even when you called,
- 48:19Speaker 1: why are you even? Why are you even calling me
- 48:21Speaker 1: with this right here? And you have to understand, I'm
- 48:25Speaker 1: I wasn't calling you. I was trying to reach miss Klin.
- 48:27Speaker 1: I don't care who are you trying to reach. Man,
- 48:29Speaker 1: you call in my house talking about my wife or
- 48:32Speaker 1: some role that some partners in and they don't get
- 48:34Speaker 1: physical to the fourth session of Carien ain't gonna being
- 48:36Speaker 1: no physical at all, sirt. Basically, your wife is trying
- 48:39Speaker 1: to surprise you with a good thing. No no, no, no,
- 48:41Speaker 1: no hold on you just hold on, gonna get this
- 48:43Speaker 1: straighten down. Real quick. Hold on, wait, wait, wait, wait,
- 48:45Speaker 1: what are you What are you doing? I'm gonna calling
- 48:47Speaker 1: my wife, That's what I'm up. What you don't understand
- 48:49Speaker 1: she's trying. It's not good for you to call. She
- 48:51Speaker 1: wants to surprise you my wife. You let me handle
- 48:53Speaker 1: my wife the way I want to handle it. You
- 48:55Speaker 1: hold on, hold on this rule. You called me back
- 48:59Speaker 1: when you get this message. Called me back at the
- 49:01Speaker 1: house as soon as you get to see sir. Yeah, yeah, sir.
- 49:05Speaker 1: She wants to surprise you know. Well we got surprised already,
- 49:08Speaker 1: y'all Right, the first of all, she ain't gonna be
- 49:10Speaker 1: coming down to y'all little sessions. And what do y'all say,
- 49:14Speaker 1: y'all little do located that again? Well, Love et cetera
- 49:16Speaker 1: is in the downtown area. How much this thing's supposed
- 49:18Speaker 1: to cost anyway? Well, like I said, she signed up
- 49:21Speaker 1: for eight sessions. It's it's uh one session per week.
- 49:24Speaker 1: It's one hundred dollars ese sessions. She's already payed the
- 49:26Speaker 1: eight hundred dollars, sir. Sheay what she's paid in full
- 49:30Speaker 1: to do all eight sessions. Man, I know, well, she
- 49:32Speaker 1: ain't paid no eight hundred dollars to y'all. She's starting
- 49:35Speaker 1: this coming when she won't be there. I'm gonna tell
- 49:37Speaker 1: you that right now. And if you if you got
- 49:39Speaker 1: any of that money, you got any of my money

- 54:17Speaker 1: He is the Strawberry Letter. Thank you nephew. Subject pick
- 54:21Speaker 1: me or your mama. Dear Stephen Shirley, I am a
- 54:25Speaker 1: young woman in my early thirties and I have been
- 54:28Speaker 1: dating a forty four year old man for ten years.
- 54:31Speaker 1: We have had a great relationship until recently when his
- 54:35Speaker 1: mother moved to the city we live in. Since then,
- 54:38Speaker 1: we've been fussing more and I'm really starting to dislike him.
- 54:42Speaker 1: His true colors are showing all because of his mother.
- 54:46Speaker 1: We cannot move on with our lives. Because his mother
- 54:49Speaker 1: is stuck on her son not being with her whenever
- 54:52Speaker 1: he has extra time in his schedule, she manipulates him
- 54:56Speaker 1: into thinking she's going to die alone one day because
- 54:59Speaker 1: he doesn't see her daily. I have made him realize
- 55:02Speaker 1: that she wasn't complaining as much when she didn't live
- 55:05Speaker 1: this close to us. He told his mother that we
- 55:07Speaker 1: are finally going to get married, and she told him
- 55:10Speaker 1: that if he marries me, she will not be around
- 55:13Speaker 1: to watch it go down. I do not know when
- 55:17Speaker 1: things change between his mother and I because we've always
- 55:20Speaker 1: been cordial and respectful to each other. It makes me
- 55:23Speaker 1: wonder if my man has told her something about me.
- 55:26Speaker 1: He says he would never tell her anything negative about
- 55:29Speaker 1: me because he knows how she is. This man loves
- 55:32Speaker 1: his mama and he loves me. So I'm stuck in
- 55:35Speaker 1: the middle, always the one trying to smooth things over
- 55:39Speaker 1: with his mom while she doats on her son and
- 55:42Speaker 1: overlooks me. I'm not trying to come between a mom
- 55:45Speaker 1: and a son. But come on, we are grown people.
- 55:48Speaker 1: We aren't married. We aren't married, so I can leave
- 55:52Speaker 1: him at any time. And he knows I'm ready to
- 55:55Speaker 1: call it quits, and he's begged me to give him
- 55:57Speaker 1: one give him more time to talk to us mom.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Should I leave him alone now and move on with
- 56:03Speaker 1: my life or should I go through with the wedding
- 56:06Speaker 1: and just avoid his nasty acting mama? After ten years,
- 56:12Speaker 1: I say it's time to blink or get off the
- 56:15Speaker 1: pot anyway. I mean, I just say, don't let this
- 56:18Speaker 1: forty four year old mama's boy, because that's what it
- 56:21Speaker 1: is have any more of your time if he doesn't
- 56:24Speaker 1: put you first now before he marries you, what do
- 56:27Speaker 1: you think marriage is going to be like with him?
- 56:31Speaker 1: Every time Mama calls, he's gonna leave you and run
- 56:34Speaker 1: right over there to be with mama. You say this
- 56:37Speaker 1: man loves you, well, I gotta say this. Love would
- 56:40Speaker 1: put you first. Love would stand up to his mama
- 56:44Speaker 1: on your behalf. Love would not let his mom manipulate him.
- 56:48Speaker 1: Love would not have to have you stuck in the middle.
- 56:53Speaker 1: You would be upfront. You would be out front where
- 56:55Speaker 1: you belong. And no, I don't think you should go
- 56:59Speaker 1: through with the wedding and just avoid his nasty acting. Mama.
- 57:03Speaker 1: You deserve way better. And it's time now for the boy,
- 57:06Speaker 1: the son, the mama's boy, to let his mom know
- 57:10Speaker 1: exactly how he feels about you. And you know, respectfully,
- 57:13Speaker 1: of course it's his mom, but he's got to let
- 57:15Speaker 1: her know that she can't do this. I mean, like
- 57:18Speaker 1: you say, she wasn't doing it when she didn't live
- 57:20Speaker 1: in the same city. Now she is being very manipulative.
- 57:24Speaker 1: It reminds me of the Jefferson's the TV show George's
- 57:27Speaker 1: Mom and his Mama and wheezy, that dynamic. So no,
- 57:31Speaker 1: don't let this go down. If you feel like you
- 57:33Speaker 1: need to get out of there because he's treating you
- 57:35Speaker 1: not like the queen you are, then you got to go. Steve,
- 57:40Speaker 1: really ridiculous letter kind of in a way, because there's
- 57:44Speaker 1: so many things you forty for year old man, you
- 57:47Speaker 1: and your early thirties. You've been dating a man for
- 57:51Speaker 1: ten years. What is going got a great relationship until
- 57:57Speaker 1: his mama moved to the city we live in. Oh,
- 58:00Speaker 1: hell came to town. Now y'all been fussing. Huh, I said,
- 58:07Speaker 1: hell came to town. Huh, oh hell, here come hell,
- 58:13Speaker 1: your hell came to town. Now here's his true colors
- 58:19Speaker 1: are showing all because of his mother. Here's what she says.
- 58:22Speaker 1: We cannot move on with our lives because his mother
- 58:24Speaker 1: stuck on her son not being with her whenever he
- 58:27Speaker 1: has extra time in his schedule. Why does his mama
- 58:33Speaker 1: know his schedule? Let's start there. So now every waning
- 58:39Speaker 1: moment he got, he got to give to her. And
- 58:42Speaker 1: then she always telling about she gonna die alone one
- 58:45Speaker 1: day because he don't see her daily. I mean, it's
- 58:48Speaker 1: cool if you can see your mama daily. I wish
- 58:50Speaker 1: I could see mine. My mama was living. I didn't
- 58:53Speaker 1: see her every day, you know, which had some more time? Would?
- 58:57Speaker 1: I'll admit that, But every day, you know, you know,
- 59:01Speaker 1: if you was twelve, I saw my mom married day
- 59:04Speaker 1: I was twelve, I was at the house. I saw
- 59:07Speaker 1: every day that I was sixteen, right up until I
- 59:09Speaker 1: was seventeen and moved out. Once I moved out, I
- 59:11Speaker 1: never really could go back to my mom and daddy house. Now,
- 59:14Speaker 1: you Shirley's absolutely correct. You got a mama's born on
- 59:18Speaker 1: your head, and it seemed like ain't nowhere around it now.
- 59:22Speaker 1: He told his mother that y'all was finally gonna get married.
- 59:26Speaker 1: She told him if he married me, she would not
- 59:28Speaker 1: be around to watch it go down. What that mean?
- 59:31Speaker 1: She gonna die, she gonna move back out of town,
- 59:34Speaker 1: She ain't coming to the wind, and she gonna get sick.
- 59:38Speaker 1: What do it mean? I don't even know what that means.
- 59:41Speaker 1: I ain't gonna be around, lady. Why. Yeah, he can't
- 59:47Speaker 1: marry you. The boy can't marry you. Jesus all right, Steve,
- 59:58Speaker 1: hang on, we'll have perk two of your response coming
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour today's Strawberry Letters.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: Subjects picked me or your mama. We'll get back into
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve, Come on,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: let's recap today's Strawberry Letters. Subject picked me or your
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: mama for it? For you, old man, she's been dating
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: for ten years. That's tricky right there. And then his
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: true colors came out when his mother moved into the city.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: And now she got the man thinking that, you know,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: and because if you're not spending all your extra time
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: with your mama, it's a problem. Well it is a
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: problem because nobody want to do that, not every damn
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: waking minute, you know. And then all we got down
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: to he told his mother that we was gonna get married.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: She told him, and she married me, that she gonna
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: not be around and watch it go down. Dad, I
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: didn't understand. Are you gonna do? Are you gonna lead town?
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Are you sick about it? You just ain't coming to
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: the wedding whatever? And then the lady can't figure out
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: when things changed between him and the mother, because they
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: always been cordial and respectful. Then it makes me wonder
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: if he just said something to the mamma, he say
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: he not he just know how his mamma is. So
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: now you stuck in the middle, always trying to smooth
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: things over with his mom while she dotes on her
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: son and overlooks me. Okay, this is atypical mamma boy
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: or behavior. I'm not trying to come between a mom
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: and her son. That's not that you should have to.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: If you're in a relationship with a man, you shouldn't
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: want to come between. You shouldn't have to feel as
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: though I'm saying that you're coming between a man and
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: his mother. You shouldn't be made to feel that way.
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: Something's wrong. Come on, we grown people. Now, she says,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: we're not married, so I can leave him at any time, now, okay,
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: waiting to hold upon the brakes. All of a sudden,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: the truth came out. I can leave him anytime. He
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: knows I'm ready to call it quits, and he has
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: begged me to give him more time to talk to
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: his mom. So you're ready to roll out? Sounds like, yeah, damn,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: the ten years that ain't gonna I ain't mad at
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: you about that. Damn the ten years. They don't need
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: to put in ten more in just like it, So
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: damn the ten years, Damn the love, damn the wedding,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: vials to hair with his mama, I roll out, I
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: pull up, pull up ducers purs who whoop? I'm about now?
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Should I leave him alone now and move on with
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: my life? Or should I go through the wedding just
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: avoid his nasty at your mama? That's gonna be impossible. Yeah,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: Shirley's right. And I was talking to somebody today, contractor
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: at my house, and he said a counselor told him
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: he went to counseling for his relationship. When a person
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: shows you who they are, believed though, that's why the
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: guy said to counselor. I've heard that, But he said,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: a counselor told him today, when a person shows you
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: who they really are, believe them. Okay, you should believe him.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: He showed you who he really is, who he really
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: gonna be loyal to, and who who's really gonna he's
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: gonna place first? Surely said you should be first. Now
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: he's shown you you not fit to be first. I
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: need some time to talk to her. The conversation just's
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: real simple, Mama, Mama, you're tripping now. You need to
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: quit talking to her like that. This is my girl.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Then you talking to a crazy got a feeling some
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: kind of way in that a right. And if you
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: keep doing that, I ain't bringing her around, and I
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: ain't coming around, and you respect who I am and
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: what I want to do. That's That's a simple conversation. Now,
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: mama's boys, it is hard to have that conversation because
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: they mama's boy, you don't talk to me that way.
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: Shut your stupid ass up, and then he going and
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: sit down somewhere. That's mama talking. Yeah, No, my mama
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: ain't never done me like that, because number one, I
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: ain't never talked back to mine. I couldn't. It wasn't liued,
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: but yeah, it was my mother. But my mother never interfered.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: So I don't know what to tell you, lady. I
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: was going about you seem like you said, rather casual.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: We ain't married, so I could leave him at any time.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: He know I'm ready to call it quits. He'd begged
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: me to give him more time to talk to his mama.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Should I leave him alone now and move on with
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: my life? Or should I go through the wed and
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: just avoid his nasty act? Mon, just go through with
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: the wed, that's right, there. Yeah, should I just leave
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: him now or should I just go through go through
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: with the any that don't even sound right. Listen, listen
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: to me and don't be half from me. Tommy Caller
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: and Shelly, don't just sign up talking about you're gonna
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: just go through with the wed. That is not what
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: this is. I got this way too many. You can't
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: just go through it moments in marriage. His advice I
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: give to everybody. We were talking about this afterday. Now.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Three things you got to have. You have to be
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: in love with the person. You have to like a person,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: and you have to love the person. In love is
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: different from loving them, So you need to be in love.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: You need to be uh, you need to like them,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: and you need to love them because on any given
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: day one of them can be missing and the other
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: two got to take take care. Any any on any date,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: one of them could just turn up missing. I don't
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: like his ass today, man, So that's it, all right,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: I'm with Shirley Ron all right. Listen, post your comments.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Thank you, Steve. Post your comments on today's Strawberry Letter.

- 1:07:16Speaker 1: proud of our message. The Crystal Tide will play claus

- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Show at twenty minutes after the hour. You're listening to
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: the show. All right, So, Steve, this hasn't gotten much
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: national attention. I don't know why, but more than three
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: dozen children are now safe in Georgia after being rescued
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: during a sex trafficking bust involving state and federal agents.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Authorities said these missing children were considered to be some
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: of the most at risk and challenging recovery cases in
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: the area, based on indications of high risk factors such
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: as victimization of child sex trafficking, child exploitation, sexual abuse,
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: physical abuse, and medical or mental health conditions. Georgia Attorney
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: General Chris Carr praised the rescue effort, which was conducted
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: in Atlanta and Macon, saying I cannot say enough about
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: Operation Not Forgotten and the men and women behind it.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Did we catch any adults? Yeah? Yeah, some adults? Yeah yeah, Yeah,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: let's get all Yes. I was on IG this weekend
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: and I think it was Mario. I think it was
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: his IG. He did a post. Why isn't this the
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: biggest story in America right now? People that are living
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: in certain situations, you just don't know the story behind
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: every victim or something. You know everybody? I guess. Look,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: let me get this out really quickly. There's a national
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: network of community based crisis centers for for sex crime victims.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: Please call this number eight hundred six five six four
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: six seven three. That's eight hundred six five six four
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: six seven three, eight hundred six five six Hope. We'll
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show at thirty
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: three minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're listening
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: to Harvey Morning Show. All right, what's going on in
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: political news? Yesterday? Joe Biden accused President Trump of sewing
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: chaos a mid protest. Did you guys see Trump's tweet
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: when he called the mayor of Portland a full really
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: really horror Yes? Yeah, because he asked you not to
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: come to the city because you would just incite people
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: and make it worse because you're the divider in chief. Also,
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: President Trump will be headed to Kenosha, Wisconsin today to
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: meet with law enforcement, despite the governor's opposition. What Tommy,
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: but they don't want him over there. They don't want him. Yeah,
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: so what if you If they don't want you, what
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: is your aunts going over there? So he's president, that's
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: never so fence to say if they don't want you
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: over that. He's meeting with law He's meeting with people
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: that want to meet with him. Obviously, the President is
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: going to Kenosha today to meet with law enforcement despite
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: the governor's opposition, and Trump will not meet with the
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: family of Jacob Blake. Also, the President refuses to condemn
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: the white seventeen year old who killed two people and
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: injured the third during the Kenosha protests. Here we go
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: with that again. I mean two systems of justice in
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: the US because they left the seventeen year old walk
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: down the street. It's what the President said about it too.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: You know, I mean a lot of people are looking
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: at this. You he was afraid to lose his life. Look, man,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: first of all, you don't have the right to take
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: a gun down the street and kill somebody, just like
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: police don't. But when this president won't, won't stand up
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: and take a stand on that type of violence, you
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: know exactly who we're dealing with. He's trying to win
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: the election by scaring people. Now what Joe Biden has
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: done that has been brilliant. It's Joe Biden says, No,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: it won't be a worse America if I'm president. It
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: can't get any worse. And stop saying what will happen
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: if I'm president? All the buildings are. I condemn police brutality,
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: but I condemn rioting and looting and all. This is
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: happening on President Trump's watch. This is the America he
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: has created because instead of trying to heal people, he's
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: constantly spewing out divisive rhetoric. And seventeen year old not
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: even old enough to carry a weapon like that, right,
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: he's a minor, So he pass the law by even
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: walking around carrying that, and you won't even condemn him
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: for that, let alone, no, because he's a Trump supporter, Well,
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: his ass won't be voting this year. Promise your dot
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: org to register please, only sixty two days left until
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: November third, Both dot Oh did you hear what she's saying?
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Both dot org? Both dot old coming up, it's our
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: last break of the day, last break of the day, Okay,
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: And some closing remarks from the one and only Steve
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: Harvey at forty nine minutes after the host normal late
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: to day. You're listening to show there are sixty two days,
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: sixty two days, only sixty two days until the November
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: third election. We can't say this enough. Uh, go right
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: now to get registered to vote. If you're not already registered.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: We've tried to make it as simple as possible for
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: you by telling you to go to vote dot org.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: That's vote dot org. Takes a couple of minutes, plus
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: you can get your dates for when you can early
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: vote in your state. And remember, early voting is the key.
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: Early voting is the key. Yeah, and we have to
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: do our parts. We have to. Yeah, this thing is serious, man,
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: you all, and we we can't say it enough, and
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: we can't say it enough times how really serious this
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: election is. And I kid you not, I knew, I
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: know for a fact in our community that the election
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: of Barack Obama was probably one of the greatest moments
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: for African Americans in the history of politics in this country,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: I know for a fact. But now let me tell
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: you something, this one right here that's coming up in
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: twenty twenty. If you just look at what twenty twenty
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: has been, this has been a challenging year. And you
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: know earlier when somebody has said to me, Steve, this
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: has got to be the worst year of your life,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: and I said, no, it has it. But for some
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: people it has. But see, it's all in all, it's
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: all relative, and it's all in perspective. I'm not saying
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: if you look at twenty twenty the way I did,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: you have a better year. If you look at it
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: the way I did, know this has been a real, real, real, real, real,
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: real bad year for some folks. It's some people are
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: one hundred and eighty some thousand deaths in this coronavirus.
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: There's some people that really have lost some loved ones.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: It's people whose whole family has got right wiped out
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: by corona. This is the worst year of their life.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: I was just saying it wasn't the worst of mine
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: because of all the things that's happened to me, in
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: my past. But I tell you one thing, though, I
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: am going to make a concerted effort from this moment
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: on in our morning show, as we have been doing
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: since since we came, since the election started, for all
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: of you that are people of faith. There is a
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Bible verse that we all have heard. Faith without works
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: is dead. You know that simply means is it's beautiful
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: to have faith, to know that God is everything, to
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: know that God will supply and take care of your needs.
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: Whoever's in the White House is not my leader anyway.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: My leader is God. But the scripture says faith without
- 1:22:41Speaker 1: works is dead. Now what is the works? Works is
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: a verb? That's where I think it is. Now, you
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: can call me with It's a conjective, it's an adjutive steed. Now,
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: faith without works? What is the works? The different works
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: that's going on right now? See, you can have faith,
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: but if you ain't out here protesting what we're really
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: talking about. You can have faith, but you ain't out
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: here trying to change policy. What are we talking about? See?
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: If black lives really matter to you, then you've got
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: to make it matter and count. If you're not a protester,
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: what are you You gotta be dropping bombs from the
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: air like we do every day. If you're not a
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: foot soldier, you got to be in the back providing
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: support in some kind of way for these young people
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: out here. You got to be given advice. You got
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: to be doing something. You got to be trying to
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: change policy. You gotta keep talking to leaders about what
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: it is that we need to see come about to
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: bring about a change in this country. But the other
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: part of faith without works is dead. You know, the
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: most important part of this work. Because after we get
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: through protest protesting, which is necessary, if we get through kneeling,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: which is necessary to draw attention, when we get through marching,
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: which is necessary to get attention, we got to vote.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: All of this culminates with the vote. The vote is
- 1:24:12Speaker 1: the only way to make sure we're counted. We can
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: tell them black lives matter all we want, man, And
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: you see how they ignore us. We've got to make
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: them feel us. And the absolute best way for them
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: to feel you and who you are is let them
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: know that your black lives shouldn't be counted. We got
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: to get to the polls and get counted. Man. We
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: can make a difference, y'all. If we get counted, make
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: them know that your life matters by being the one
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: that pulls that lever to bring about a change. We
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: are not accepting this anymore. We don't like leadership like this.
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: We do not like the visiveness like this. Black people
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: don't hate the police, but we're sick of people who
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: are allowing the police to hate us and no repercussions
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: behind it. That's what we're sick of. You would be
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: sick of it if it was your kids dying, If
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: this is what happening to white people, you'd be a Paul.
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: And that's what we have now. We have white people
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: who are appalled and outrage and this is the time
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: to take advantage of it by getting to the polls
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: with our brothers and sisters from another mother and making
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: a change at the polls. We got to vote. We
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: have to vote, man. If you don't vote, all this
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: marching is for nothing. I'm telling you. You were mad
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: about George Floyd Aubrey, were mad about Brianna Taylor, were
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: mad about all of it. But if we don't vote, man,
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: they ain't gonna go back to business as usual. You
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: cannot afford to have this man in the white House again,
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: are you listening to what he's doing? And for all
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: y'all out that time about what Joe Biden ate, let
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: me tell you what he ain't. He ain't a bigot,
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: he's not a racist. He's trying to divide the country.
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: He's speaking up against violence and everything. He's knocking the
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: police who are doing this. And we got some of
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: the white white house that ain't doing nothing like that.
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: And we got the few knucklehead and black people talking
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: about what he hadn't done for us because he got
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: on a ride with your family. Nobody can't about that.
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: And because you don't you freed some black people, or
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: you freed some white people too that probably shouldn't have
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: been in that along in the first damn place. Miss
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: me with that? What have you really done? Nothing? You
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: divided us? And in November we're gonna get rid of this.
