- 0:23Speaker 1: Ye listening to to.
- 0:38Speaker 4: I don't joy Joy.
- 0:58Speaker 5: You gotta do that.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Turn, you.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Gotta turn.
- 1:31Speaker 2: I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 1: To turn the mouth the turn.
- 1:43Speaker 3: You probably got to turn the mouth to turn out,
- 1:46Speaker 3: turn a wad of the water up. Who look me, come.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Come out?
- 1:59Speaker 6: You're thinking, uh huh, I sure, well, good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 2: You're listening to the voice?
- 2:07Speaker 6: Come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harley
- 2:10Speaker 6: got a radio show. You know this week I just
- 2:13Speaker 6: been on it, so today is no different. I'm telling you,
- 2:17Speaker 6: I've just reinvigorated myself. I'm more determined to share the
- 2:23Speaker 6: principles of success. I'm more determined to help and guide
- 2:28Speaker 6: and teach as many people as I can the things
- 2:32Speaker 6: that I've learned.
- 2:32Speaker 2: And I mean, man, I've been through it. I have
- 2:35Speaker 2: really been through it. I kid you not. You know.
- 2:37Speaker 6: I used to say, okay, God, you know, why is
- 2:39Speaker 6: all this happening to me? But as I've gotten older,
- 2:43Speaker 6: I understand that was the ingredients. I needed the ingredients
- 2:47Speaker 6: to be this cake. I needed all those ingredients stirred up.
- 2:52Speaker 6: I need all of that different flavors, the stuff that
- 2:55Speaker 6: I didn't think tastes so good. All that stuff had
- 2:58Speaker 6: to come into the bowl in all for me to
- 3:00Speaker 6: get to where I am today.
- 3:02Speaker 2: As much as I did not like the.
- 3:05Speaker 6: Taste of the ingredients, little did I know God was
- 3:09Speaker 6: making this cake, not me. But what he did was
- 3:13Speaker 6: And you've heard the old saying God could turn lemons
- 3:16Speaker 6: into lemonade.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Well that's what he was doing now.
- 3:20Speaker 6: At the time, it all had a little funky lemonade
- 3:25Speaker 6: lemony flavor to it, with some other stuff in it too.
- 3:29Speaker 6: I didn't care for it. But little did I know
- 3:32Speaker 6: that I needed everything that happened to me, that happened
- 3:35Speaker 6: to me in the exact order that it happened, and
- 3:37Speaker 6: the exact array of things that happened, for me to
- 3:41Speaker 6: have the knowledge I have today, the experience, the attitude,
- 3:46Speaker 6: so I could turn around and share that information. Okay,
- 3:51Speaker 6: got that out the way. This is what I want
- 3:54Speaker 6: to give to you today. I want you to understand
- 3:56Speaker 6: something that discipline determined your destiny, not your desire. Discipline
- 4:04Speaker 6: determines your destiny, not your desire. You've heard me say this,
- 4:10Speaker 6: how many times on the show. Okay, here we go again, Steve,
- 4:13Speaker 6: I got it. Faith with our works is dead. But
- 4:18Speaker 6: let me tell you something. To be a hard worker,
- 4:20Speaker 6: you got to be disciplined. That's one of the hardest
- 4:23Speaker 6: lessons I'm trying to get through to my sons. You're
- 4:25Speaker 6: gonna throw yourself down a cliff if you're not a
- 4:29Speaker 6: young man or a man that possesses discipline. Because they
- 4:33Speaker 6: got something for undisciplined people. They got some street laws
- 4:37Speaker 6: for undisciplined people, and they got some federal laws and
- 4:41Speaker 6: state laws for undisciplined people. Soe that's why them signs
- 4:45Speaker 6: is outside on the freeway. Were gonna let you go fast.
- 4:48Speaker 6: But seventy is the limit. Seventy fast enough. Really, if
- 4:53Speaker 6: you're disciplined enough of a person to leave your house
- 4:56Speaker 6: at the time you're supposed to leave your house, seventy
- 4:59Speaker 6: miles per is absolutely enough. But if you're an undisciplined person,
- 5:04Speaker 6: if you don't have the wherewithal to leave your house
- 5:07Speaker 6: on time, to get ready to go where you wanna go,
- 5:11Speaker 6: see the desires where you wanna go. The discipline is
- 5:15Speaker 6: how you get there. You understand you can wanna go
- 5:19Speaker 6: to see your family in California all you want, but
- 5:22Speaker 6: the flight leaves at one eighteen.
- 5:25Speaker 2: You leave your house at twelve thirty.
- 5:27Speaker 6: They told you you must check in one hour before
- 5:32Speaker 6: your flight. Now, if you ain't got the discipline to
- 5:35Speaker 6: get to the airport to check in one hour before
- 5:38Speaker 6: your flight, leaving your house forty five minutes before the
- 5:41Speaker 6: flight departs, what you think gonna happen? Your desire to
- 5:46Speaker 6: go see your family in la is going to be
- 5:49Speaker 6: thwarted because you lack the discipline to prepare yourself and
- 5:54Speaker 6: get yourself ready to do the things that you have
- 5:57Speaker 6: to do to make your desires come true. Telling you
- 6:00Speaker 6: discipline determines your destiny, not your desire. You can write
- 6:05Speaker 6: down a list of stuff you wanna do all day,
- 6:08Speaker 6: but if you don't produce and show the discipline necessary
- 6:11Speaker 6: to get there, what you.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Think gonna happen?
- 6:15Speaker 1: Huh?
- 6:16Speaker 6: Okay? I wanna be rich. Okay, I wanna make four
- 6:20Speaker 6: hundred thousand a year. Okay, I wanna be the best
- 6:25Speaker 6: player that they is. Okay, but you don't want practice.
- 6:29Speaker 6: See the cat that's disciplined enough to show up at practice,
- 6:33Speaker 6: that's shooting jumpers when everybody gone home. That's the guy
- 6:36Speaker 6: that's gonna be the best, the guy that's never late
- 6:39Speaker 6: for practice, the guy that study the playbook. That's the
- 6:42Speaker 6: guy that's gonna make it, not the guy that's talking crack,
- 6:45Speaker 6: got stalking that smack. I'm gonna make the Pro Bowl,
- 6:48Speaker 6: I'm gonna make the All Star Team, I'm gonna be
- 6:50Speaker 6: All American. That's just what you're saying. But discipline determines
- 6:55Speaker 6: your destiny, not your desire. So now let's talk about
- 6:59Speaker 6: this discipline. What is that, really, Steve. That's your work ethic,
- 7:03Speaker 6: that's your hunger, that's your will. Discipline is how hard
- 7:09Speaker 6: you're willing to demonstrate the attributes and the traits to
- 7:16Speaker 6: be what you want to be.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Did you hear me?
- 7:20Speaker 6: Is your willingness to conduct yourself in a manner that
- 7:24Speaker 6: is above and beyond what they say is necessary.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Now, this is a good example right here. Now.
- 7:31Speaker 6: You can wanna be in the NFL all you want,
- 7:34Speaker 6: but they got this thing called the NFL Combines where
- 7:38Speaker 6: they bring in some of the top players at every
- 7:40Speaker 6: position to come in and they gonna run a forty
- 7:43Speaker 6: yard dash, They're gonna do a standing broad jump, they're
- 7:47Speaker 6: gonna do a standing vertical leap. They gonna do drills,
- 7:53Speaker 6: running drills, cutting drills. They can determine if a lineback
- 7:57Speaker 6: of gods stiff hips by making me backpedal, point him
- 8:01Speaker 6: in one direction and throw the football in another direction.
- 8:04Speaker 6: How does he turn his body? Now you can say
- 8:06Speaker 6: you can tell everybody at your college you want to
- 8:08Speaker 6: play pro football. You can tell everybody at your high school.
- 8:11Speaker 6: You can tell them in pee wee you wanna play
- 8:12Speaker 6: pro football. But they got tests for you though. It's
- 8:15Speaker 6: called the combines. Now you get out here and you
- 8:18Speaker 6: have a bad combine day, Ain't nobody trying to hear that.
- 8:22Speaker 6: Let me tell you how excuses don't work with people
- 8:24Speaker 6: when they just trying to get when they trying to
- 8:26Speaker 6: win in the NFL.
- 8:28Speaker 2: The fact that you had a bad day at.
- 8:30Speaker 6: The combine and you don't run your best forties and
- 8:33Speaker 6: you keep telling them you could do better, they don't
- 8:35Speaker 6: want to hear that. Because see, what ain't nobody gonna
- 8:37Speaker 6: pay you for is to play on Sunday. And that's
- 8:40Speaker 6: one of your bad days. We paying you to play
- 8:44Speaker 6: on Sundays. But because you keep having these bad days,
- 8:49Speaker 6: because you ain't disciplined enough to put in the work,
- 8:51Speaker 6: to make sure that your maximum can be called upon
- 8:54Speaker 6: at any time. Now you at the combine with some
- 8:57Speaker 6: slow times that go on your record. You had to combine.
- 9:01Speaker 6: You don't jump as high as you did when you
- 9:02Speaker 6: was at the gym class. Well, hold up, man, this
- 9:05Speaker 6: is show day now in the NFL. Sunday is show day.
- 9:10Speaker 6: What they can't run the risk of is paying you
- 9:12Speaker 6: your money and your bad day happen to be on
- 9:15Speaker 6: Sundays after we do cut your check.
- 9:17Speaker 2: No, no, no, We looking.
- 9:19Speaker 6: For people who limit them bad days, who got the
- 9:21Speaker 6: discipline to work hard, to make an effort for it.
- 9:24Speaker 6: You understand what I'm saying to your folks. Please understand this.
- 9:28Speaker 6: Discipline determines your destiny, not your desire.
- 9:32Speaker 2: If you can want it all.
- 9:34Speaker 6: You want, But if you ain't working, if you ain't grinding,
- 9:38Speaker 6: if you ain't hurting, if you ain't sweating real bad,
- 9:42Speaker 6: if you always somewhere, got to chill, you got to
- 9:46Speaker 6: have a cold one, you got to smoke one, You
- 9:48Speaker 6: got to do all them things. Can I tell you
- 9:50Speaker 6: something you ain't gonna make it. Discipline determines your destiny,
- 9:56Speaker 6: not your desire.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey morning.
- 9:59Speaker 7: Sh.
- 10:04Speaker 6: Ladies and gentlemen. Wow, I actually wake up in amazement.
- 10:10Speaker 6: I do, I really really do. I'm absolutely amazed at
- 10:14Speaker 6: how God just summons the day every day. He's never late,
- 10:19Speaker 6: he ain't ever missed. And I've been here for every
- 10:22Speaker 6: last one of them that I've been aware. Whoo, that's
- 10:26Speaker 6: a good deal right there, man, that's a real good deal.
- 10:30Speaker 2: We're gonna get it going this morning.
- 10:32Speaker 6: Steve Harvey, Martin Show, Shelly Strawberry, Colin Frail, Mississippi, Monica Junior,
- 10:36Speaker 6: and Tommy Junior.
- 10:37Speaker 2: What's on your mind?
- 10:38Speaker 8: Man?
- 10:39Speaker 9: Hey uncle, let's talk about this man. Do you have
- 10:42Speaker 9: some tips for people who seek financial freedom in their twenties,
- 10:45Speaker 9: thirties and they forties. They just want to ask you
- 10:47Speaker 9: about financial tips that we stand now about money, cause
- 10:50Speaker 9: you know, we don't have all the financial literacy that
- 10:53Speaker 9: we should have.
- 10:54Speaker 2: We just want to know how you feel about it now.
- 10:55Speaker 6: Are you now? Your original question is what now, Junior?
- 10:59Speaker 6: Tips for financial.
- 11:00Speaker 9: What financial tips that you have for us for people
- 11:03Speaker 9: in the twenties, thirties and the forties.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Did you say financial freedom? I thought I missed the
- 11:09Speaker 2: word liter tips.
- 11:10Speaker 9: Yeah, people that's looking for financial freedom. But financial literacy
- 11:14Speaker 9: that you feel about money.
- 11:15Speaker 6: Well, I didn't do well in my twenties, which is
- 11:19Speaker 6: one of the regrets I blew my twenties. I spent
- 11:24Speaker 6: all of my thirties fixing what I messed up in
- 11:26Speaker 6: my twenties, and I spent my forties being what I could.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Have been in my thirties.
- 11:34Speaker 6: So financially, I didn't have anything. But if I had
- 11:41Speaker 6: something in my twenties, I would practice saving. I would
- 11:45Speaker 6: become a disciplined saver, you know that put that money
- 11:49Speaker 6: to the side, that type of thing. No matter what
- 11:53Speaker 6: you make, how big or how small, got to save
- 11:57Speaker 6: some of it. You've got to get yourself off to
- 12:00Speaker 6: live not at your means, not above your means, but
- 12:06Speaker 6: you gotta live below your means.
- 12:09Speaker 2: That's hard to do.
- 12:10Speaker 6: If you don't, you will wind up as most people
- 12:14Speaker 6: check to check. So you've got to manage to spend
- 12:20Speaker 6: less than you make and see man you Sometimes I
- 12:23Speaker 6: think that's a negative connotation when you tell a person
- 12:26Speaker 6: live below your means. I think you just got to
- 12:29Speaker 6: just become a disciplined person to not spend everything you make.
- 12:35Speaker 6: Maybe that's an easier way to say it. You cannot
- 12:39Speaker 6: spend everything you make. You got to take some of
- 12:43Speaker 6: it and put it to the side. That's the biggest
- 12:45Speaker 6: thing I will learn if that applies in your twenties, thirties,
- 12:50Speaker 6: forties and fifties.
- 12:52Speaker 2: If you can do that, you can start accumulating.
- 12:56Speaker 6: And once you get lump sums of money, that's when
- 12:59Speaker 6: you can move. Without lump sums of money, you gotta
- 13:03Speaker 6: get credit. But when you get lump sums of money,
- 13:07Speaker 6: you can move. You Now, I got a down payment
- 13:11Speaker 6: for a house. You gotta down payment for a car.
- 13:14Speaker 6: You know, all these people out here is talking about
- 13:16Speaker 6: owning a home is the dumbest investment you could do?
- 13:20Speaker 6: The grant cardon theory. I disagree. I disagree. I don't
- 13:26Speaker 6: know who don't want to own a home. I might
- 13:29Speaker 6: have done the dumbest thing I've ever done then, because
- 13:32Speaker 6: I got one.
- 13:34Speaker 1: And boy is it a home? Yes?
- 13:40Speaker 10: Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, we'll
- 13:42Speaker 10: hear from a Nephews he runs that prank back right
- 13:45Speaker 10: after this.

- 15:16Speaker 5: That don't make no sense. How long have y'all even
- 15:18Speaker 5: been in the business to be doing something like this?
- 15:21Speaker 13: So this is a family business. We've been doing this
- 15:23Speaker 13: forty plus years.
- 15:24Speaker 5: Ah A, y'all making mistakes like this? Man?
- 15:26Speaker 14: What what?
- 15:27Speaker 5: What's the problem?
- 15:27Speaker 13: What's the mistake?
- 15:28Speaker 5: What's what mistake?
- 15:29Speaker 13: Think we made?
- 15:30Speaker 5: Okay? Look, man, we bearing Mi Auntie two weeks ago.
- 15:34Speaker 5: Her name is Rosette. Okay, all right, where you spent
- 15:38Speaker 5: Your name is r O s e t t A.
- 15:41Speaker 5: Y'all got r o z e t t an. She
- 15:45Speaker 5: was born tune to eight, nineteen forty eight. Y'all got
- 15:49Speaker 5: August six, nineteen forty y'all got the dates mixed up,
- 15:53Speaker 5: and y'all got her name mixed up. And what we
- 15:55Speaker 5: ain't finna do as how Mia Auntie are resting in
- 15:58Speaker 5: peace with the wrong stuff on her tombstow.
- 16:01Speaker 12: No fusman, calm down right, you.
- 16:04Speaker 13: Keep yelling at me. I can't age no way I
- 16:05Speaker 13: can help you you getting at me.
- 16:07Speaker 5: I mean, thanks to paying from damn man.
- 16:10Speaker 14: Why I can check the paperwork.
- 16:11Speaker 13: I can check the paperwork and see what the problem is.
- 16:14Speaker 13: Name if you who gaves me the wrong information, your
- 16:16Speaker 13: family gave me the wrong information, then we just put
- 16:18Speaker 13: down where we were given and if we gotta change something,
- 16:21Speaker 13: we'll change it. But it's gonna cost you some more.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Mind, I'm not We're not paying another dawn to that
- 16:27Speaker 5: funeral hall, not another dame. The stuff gonna get changed
- 16:31Speaker 5: on the tone stock, and we're not paying for none.

- 16:36Speaker 13: I'm saying we can help you out. I can help you.
- 16:39Speaker 13: What if you gave me the wrong information?
- 16:42Speaker 15: That's only here?
- 16:42Speaker 16: Why didn't do that?
- 16:43Speaker 5: That's only here? But we didn't give you the wrong information. No,
- 16:46Speaker 5: I'm gonna tell you that. What's your name? Turn wrong?
- 16:49Speaker 5: What is your name?
- 16:51Speaker 16: My name is Kendrick.
- 16:52Speaker 5: Okay, Kendrick. Let me tell you something. If this don't
- 16:55Speaker 5: get changed by the night, me and some of my
- 16:58Speaker 5: cousin are gonna come out there and start digging up
- 17:00Speaker 5: bout it.
- 17:00Speaker 13: Oh no, y'all not coming over here and digging up nothing, y'all.
- 17:04Speaker 14: This is my pleasure.
- 17:05Speaker 13: Will disrespect my family and come over here.
- 17:07Speaker 5: You're gonna get up what we're gonna dig up somebody,
- 17:09Speaker 5: and don't get directed bottle of my hand tombstone.
- 17:13Speaker 12: Because there's not gonna be none of that.
- 17:15Speaker 13: I'm not having you coming over here. We're gonna fix
- 17:17Speaker 13: the problem, check the paperwork, and I can get back
- 17:19Speaker 13: to you. That's why I can do.
- 17:20Speaker 14: But you ain't digging up nothing on my head tombstone,
- 17:25Speaker 14: but me and my cousin's coming out there digging up

- 17:38Speaker 13: getting excited too. Come man, let me just talk to
- 17:41Speaker 13: you like a man.
- 17:41Speaker 5: Listen.
- 17:42Speaker 13: What I'm saying is you in that the family sells
- 17:46Speaker 13: out the paperwork puts the name in the first date
- 17:48Speaker 13: on there. If it is incorrect, it has to be fixed.
- 17:51Speaker 13: I have to call the man out here to fix it,
- 17:54Speaker 13: and that's gonna cost some money.
- 17:55Speaker 14: I have to pay him.
- 17:56Speaker 13: All I'm saying is if that is the case, if
- 17:59Speaker 13: the pay workers incorrect, it's not own us, and I
- 18:02Speaker 13: might have to charge you a little extra money just
- 18:04Speaker 13: so I can get it taken called.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Nothing to get charged none. No, we ain't got no
- 18:08Speaker 5: more money. Man, we ain't got no more money, got
- 18:10Speaker 5: charge alarm and the leg to bear in my handy.
- 18:13Speaker 5: We ain't got no more. Let me tell you. I'm
- 18:14Speaker 5: gonna tell you one more time, mister Kendrick. If I
- 18:18Speaker 5: don't see a child, I'm coming out there this evening.
- 18:20Speaker 5: And look at my handy tool. So I'm coming out
- 18:23Speaker 5: there now. If the day and the name ain't fixed,
- 18:27Speaker 5: I promise you so help me. I'm finna start digging
- 18:30Speaker 5: up about it. And if you're out there, I'm gonna

- 25:45Speaker 10: Speaking of the new norm, Rashot and Grapevine says, I'm
- 25:48Speaker 10: having sex with two best friends. I met them at
- 25:51Speaker 10: the same time and had sex with one in the
- 25:53Speaker 10: bathroom and the other in my car on the same night.
- 25:57Speaker 10: They have no idea what's going on? Should I tell
- 26:00Speaker 10: them and see if the threesome is possible?
- 26:02Speaker 1: Speaking of the.
- 26:03Speaker 6: Norm, Yeah, because you don't care about either one of them. Though, yeah,
- 26:08Speaker 6: this ain't nobody. You have no intention of taking them

- 26:37Speaker 6: in there together, birds of a feather, flock together. I
- 26:42Speaker 6: know they're best friends.
- 26:44Speaker 1: So you're saying a threesome is highly possible, feeler.
- 26:49Speaker 6: Because if they at the club together, m and they
- 26:54Speaker 6: show up missing at different times, and the and the
- 26:56Speaker 6: other person that's always missing is the cute dude? Then
- 27:02Speaker 6: come on, somebody knows something.
- 27:05Speaker 2: Girl. You was in the bathroom a long time girl.
- 27:09Speaker 10: But we go to the bathroom, you know that, we

- 27:16Speaker 1: Of them, surey, Yeah, that's unusual.
- 27:20Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, so that would have that would have raised
- 27:23Speaker 6: eyebrows right there.
- 27:24Speaker 2: And then she come out. You got to look a
- 27:26Speaker 2: little bit.
- 27:27Speaker 6: Tossed up when you come out that bathroom.
- 27:33Speaker 8: So you think they were out together the best friend
- 27:36Speaker 8: sad night. Yeah, not out together, like he went out
- 27:41Speaker 8: with one and then he hooked up with the other.
- 27:43Speaker 2: You think they would all together? Yes and no. I
- 27:46Speaker 2: think he met both of them at the club.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Yeah, oh wow.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Yeah that night, same night, one in the bathroom in.
- 27:56Speaker 10: The car, Carlo, I met them at the same time
- 27:58Speaker 10: and had sex with one of the after the other
- 28:00Speaker 10: in the car night.
- 28:03Speaker 2: I missed that. The important part is where is this club?
- 28:07Speaker 2: What club is this?
- 28:09Speaker 10: That's the important part to the need to plan out
- 28:14Speaker 10: all right. Last one, last one Colo. This is from
- 28:16Speaker 10: Milicent and Queen's Milicin writes, my cards in the shop

- 28:25Speaker 10: tried to have sex, I told him I ain't got
- 28:28Speaker 10: it right now. He said, I should not punish him
- 28:30Speaker 10: for being broke. Am I wrong for withholding sex?
- 28:34Speaker 18: Wow?
- 28:35Speaker 6: Well I've never done it before, but I guess you
- 28:38Speaker 6: have a progative out.
- 28:42Speaker 2: You know, you need your car.
- 28:43Speaker 6: You know, obviously you all have had some type of
- 28:47Speaker 6: transactional behavior before, shall we say so? I'm assuming that
- 28:52Speaker 6: this is you all have equated one with the other,
- 28:55Speaker 6: especially you. And now he mad because he shouldn't be
- 28:58Speaker 6: punished for being broken. Well, broke dudes don't get a
- 29:03Speaker 6: lot of action. Dog, I'm just gonna tell you that
- 29:06Speaker 6: right now. You got to buy a happy meal or
- 29:09Speaker 6: something for the baby. Something, you gotta do something.
- 29:12Speaker 2: That's my husband too.
- 29:16Speaker 6: Well, they have a transitional transaction and transition of whatever

- 29:24Speaker 6: You give me that, you get me that I give
- 29:26Speaker 6: you some of this. If I give you some of this,
- 29:30Speaker 6: you know I'm gonna want that.
- 29:33Speaker 1: But usually that's unspoken. You know, you just know that.

- 30:33Speaker 10: According to Politico, President Trump told his top advisors and
- 30:37Speaker 10: some of the members of his cabinet that Elon Musk
- 30:40Speaker 10: could soon be taking a step back from his current
- 30:43Speaker 10: role in the administration. ABC News reported that Musk is
- 30:47Speaker 10: employed as a quote special government employee, and his position
- 30:51Speaker 10: is not to exceed one hundred and thirty days, and
- 30:53Speaker 10: my disappointment would be would be up close to the
- 30:58Speaker 10: end of May On Monday, he would asked specifically about
- 31:01Speaker 10: Elon Musk one hundred and thirty day time limit. President
- 31:04Speaker 10: Trump told reporters, I think he's been amazing, but I
- 31:07Speaker 10: also think he's got a big company to run, and
- 31:10Speaker 10: at some point he's going to go back.
- 31:13Speaker 1: He wants to stick. You predicted this long ago. Come on, man,
- 31:18Speaker 1: your thoughts.
- 31:19Speaker 6: Boy bye, This this is he didnet got his two
- 31:24Speaker 6: hundred and thirty million dollars worth. He got to kid,
- 31:26Speaker 6: he's getting too much press for the president. He's not
- 31:29Speaker 6: gonna lie that. I told y'all this one hundred and
- 31:31Speaker 6: thirty days. Where'd that come from? They'll just be making
- 31:34Speaker 6: stuff up. Man, act like they knew it all along. Man,
- 31:37Speaker 6: This administration crazy. He's tariffs, he's ten to fifty per
- 31:40Speaker 6: TIFFs went into effect, y'all. May Man, I'm just telling
- 31:44Speaker 6: you you're gonna feel the hit. Y'all buckle up, get ready.
- 31:47Speaker 8: Well, you saw Mitch McConnell and voted against him the
- 31:51Speaker 8: president four big Republicans including Mitch McConnell.
- 31:55Speaker 1: So again, oh god, the time, this last time?
- 32:03Speaker 6: Anyway, I help you understand, right right right? Yeah, I
- 32:09Speaker 6: know it's how I like I hain't gonna make.
- 32:11Speaker 2: It, Pickerbard Crane.
- 32:14Speaker 19: Yeah, all right, moving on to this story.
- 32:19Speaker 1: This is a really sad story here, guys.
- 32:21Speaker 2: Uh.
- 32:21Speaker 10: This is out of Augusta, Georgia. Twenty four year old
- 32:24Speaker 10: dad was arrested after he left his three children playing
- 32:27Speaker 10: at one of those McDonald's play places while he went
- 32:31Speaker 10: on a job interview. His kids are ten, six and one.
- 32:35Speaker 10: He told police that he does not have a car,
- 32:37Speaker 10: so he and the kids walked to McDonald's from their
- 32:39Speaker 10: apartment to eat, and he let the kids play after
- 32:43Speaker 10: they ate. He said he decided to let the kids
- 32:45Speaker 10: stay and play instead of walking back home alone because
- 32:49Speaker 10: he had a job interview. Someone at McDonald's call the
- 32:52Speaker 10: police after noticing that the children were left unattended for
- 32:55Speaker 10: a while. When the father got back almost two hours later,
- 33:00Speaker 10: he was arrested. The kid's mom came to pick them
- 33:03Speaker 10: up from McDonald's. Reportedly, the dad was gone from four
- 33:06Speaker 10: thirty to six eighteen pm. This caused outrage on social media,
- 33:10Speaker 10: with commenters saying that he never should have been arrested
- 33:14Speaker 10: because the ten year old knew how to take care
- 33:16Speaker 10: of the smaller children, and others noted that the dad
- 33:19Speaker 10: was doing all he could to secure a job without
- 33:21Speaker 10: having a car or childcare. And there were a lot
- 33:24Speaker 10: of comments about the dangers of leaving three kids alone
- 33:27Speaker 10: in a public place.
- 33:28Speaker 6: So what do you think the dangers outweighed the positives here? Yeah,
- 33:33Speaker 6: unfortunately a ten year old, a six year old and
- 33:36Speaker 6: a one year old.
- 33:38Speaker 2: A one year old?
- 33:39Speaker 10: Yeah, yeah, yeah, come on, man, you can't.
- 33:43Speaker 6: You can't leave a child unsupervised a law in these
- 33:48Speaker 6: days and times, somebody could snatch them kids.
- 33:51Speaker 1: Yeah, anything, you.
- 33:53Speaker 6: Know, you know, And sad thing about social media, it's
- 33:56Speaker 6: open to anybody's opinion, even the ignorant. You look, man,
- 34:05Speaker 6: you can't leave a child in a car and go
- 34:08Speaker 6: in the store.
- 34:10Speaker 10: But but what right, you're absolutely right in the car
- 34:14Speaker 10: in the parking lot of us.
- 34:15Speaker 2: It's child endangerment? Is it is? Just children? At that
- 34:20Speaker 2: at ten? He can't make enough decisions.
- 34:23Speaker 1: Yes, yes, he's ten.
- 34:25Speaker 10: Come on, but Steve, what about the people that are
- 34:28Speaker 10: saying the commenters who are saying that, well, he was
- 34:31Speaker 10: trying to get a job.
- 34:32Speaker 6: I got, he was trying to get a job, but
- 34:35Speaker 6: you got you got to think this out a little
- 34:37Speaker 6: bit better than that.
- 34:38Speaker 2: On a one year old, bro.
- 34:40Speaker 6: You gotta get somebody, a relative. If the wife came.
- 34:44Speaker 2: And picked him up, the mother, the mother, I mean.
- 34:47Speaker 6: The mother came and picked him up. Where was the
- 34:49Speaker 6: mama at when he when she knows she needs a job? Now,
- 34:52Speaker 6: if she was at work, okay, cool. But I got
- 34:55Speaker 6: a chance to get a job.
- 34:57Speaker 2: My interview is at four point thirty.
- 35:00Speaker 6: If he'd have told that woman, I'm gonna take these
- 35:02Speaker 6: kids down to McDonald I'm gonna leave them here I
- 35:05Speaker 6: come back, she wouldn't have went for that.
- 35:09Speaker 2: But nobody would go for that.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Absolutely not, absolutely not.
- 35:12Speaker 6: And that's why social media is so dangerous. Man, you
- 35:21Speaker 6: look at but he tried to get a job.
- 35:23Speaker 1: And you gotta get a babysit in the job interview period.
- 35:28Speaker 11: But if you're that stupid to do that, they're not
- 35:31Speaker 11: gonna hire you, though, come see.
- 35:32Speaker 2: It, I can promise you.
- 35:35Speaker 10: But he said was he said that he decided to

- 49:48Speaker 15: I'm just trying to digest all the stuff that you
- 49:52Speaker 15: had just said that that was in my husband's pocket.
- 49:55Speaker 15: Now you sure that this is my husband, Chris Chris?
- 49:59Speaker 3: Uh?

- 51:41Speaker 15: I want you to put it in the bag. Don't
- 51:43Speaker 15: clean nothing. But if I'm gonna come up there and
- 51:46Speaker 15: I'm gonna pick everything up.

- 52:03Speaker 15: I'm the good years of my life and he's gonna

- 53:06Speaker 15: You just put everything in the back set like I
- 53:08Speaker 15: gotta ask you to. I am on my way down there,

- 53:41Speaker 12: Just in a rocket?
- 53:43Speaker 15: Would you make that to me? Matter a fact? I
- 53:46Speaker 15: want that in the bath too. The more evidence I have,

- 53:51Speaker 15: I'm gonna get Uh what did the note say?
- 53:54Speaker 18: The note says, this is neft you Tommy from the

- 54:12Speaker 15: was we were going to have a barbecue in him, Honor.

- 56:47Speaker 1: Thank you enough.
- 56:48Speaker 10: Subject she needs a few things fixed, okay, Dear Stephen Shirley.
- 56:52Speaker 10: I've been engaged for three years to the love of
- 56:55Speaker 10: my life. She is beautiful, intelligent, funny, nurturing, godly, and
- 57:00Speaker 10: a great lover. There's just one problem that was caused
- 57:03Speaker 10: by a bicycling accident last year, and she's taking her
- 57:06Speaker 10: time fixing it. It's affecting our sex life, and I
- 57:10Speaker 10: tense up whenever we're out in public and see someone
- 57:13Speaker 10: we know. Because of this problem, I became a homebody
- 57:17Speaker 10: because I don't want her to tag along. I prayed
- 57:20Speaker 10: about how I feel, but I can't help myself. I
- 57:23Speaker 10: changed the subject whenever she talks about wedding planning, and
- 57:26Speaker 10: she's starting to notice that something is not right. So
- 57:30Speaker 10: here's my issue or issues. We were in a cycling
- 57:33Speaker 10: club and our group rode bikes early Saturday mornings along
- 57:37Speaker 10: and Older highway. My fiance lost her balance and fell,
- 57:41Speaker 10: hitting her face on her handlebars. The fall chipped one
- 57:46Speaker 10: of her front teeth and knocked out the tooth next
- 57:48Speaker 10: to it. She's she given a temporary tooth for the
- 57:54Speaker 10: one that's missing, but it never stays in, so she
- 57:58Speaker 10: does not wear it often. The chip tooth is the
- 58:01Speaker 10: main issue. When I say it affects our love life,
- 58:05Speaker 10: just imagine what I'm talking about. She's a bit rough
- 58:08Speaker 10: considering there's a jagged edge on her tooth, and I've
- 58:12Speaker 10: jumped up out of the bed before because I get
- 58:14Speaker 10: scratched up. She can do that again, but I really
- 58:18Speaker 10: miss it. I also miss kissing her because I can't
- 58:22Speaker 10: bring myself to do it. I know she hates the
- 58:24Speaker 10: dentist and I do too, but I wish she'd stop
- 58:28Speaker 10: canceling her appointments to get her mouth together. She's been
- 58:31Speaker 10: through a lot, so I should be more supportive, but
- 58:34Speaker 10: I'm starting to be resentful. She is sabotaging our future
- 58:37Speaker 10: by postponing our wedding. Should I force her to go
- 58:41Speaker 10: to the dentist or should I force myself to deal
- 58:44Speaker 10: with her edgy mouth? You're right, I have to tell you, sir,
- 58:49Speaker 10: You're right in everything you say. This is crazy right here.
- 58:52Speaker 10: Why won't she go to the dentist and get her
- 58:55Speaker 10: I know she's scared, I know that, but you got
- 58:57Speaker 10: to get beyond this fear in this situation, and you
- 59:00Speaker 10: can stop using the word force, because while you absolutely
- 59:04Speaker 10: want her to get her raggedy mouth fixed, forcing her
- 59:07Speaker 10: that's not really what you want to do. I don't
- 59:10Speaker 10: understand how your fiance doesn't know that men are visual
- 59:14Speaker 10: and this is really very much a turnoff. You didn't
- 59:17Speaker 10: tell her, obviously, but you're telling us that you you know,
- 59:21Speaker 10: sex with her isn't good anymore. She's traumatized by the dentist.
- 59:26Speaker 10: I get that, just like you, Steve, you don't like
- 59:29Speaker 10: the dentist. She's more afraid of the dentist than losing
- 59:33Speaker 10: her marriage and all of this, or her engagement, all
- 59:37Speaker 10: of this. So just instead of trying to force her,
- 59:40Speaker 10: I mean, I know you've had it.
- 59:42Speaker 1: I'm with you on this one. I'm with you on
- 59:44Speaker 1: this one.
- 59:45Speaker 10: I know you've had it, But why don't you sit
- 59:46Speaker 10: her down one more time? Tell her exactly how you feel.
- 59:50Speaker 10: She just can't get too comfortable where where she is because.
- 59:56Speaker 1: You don't like this. You're her man, and you don't
- 59:59Speaker 1: like what's happening here.
- 1:00:00Speaker 10: So you know, before this gets to the point where
- 1:00:05Speaker 10: you actually absolutely call off the wedding, just ask her
- 1:00:09Speaker 10: to make another appointment. You can go to the dentist
- 1:00:11Speaker 10: with her, stay there, hold her hand. If you have
- 1:00:13Speaker 10: to remember you doing this for the both of you, Steve.
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: Well, yeah, I probably ain't gonna like my response. Let's
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: just gonna get to it. She's intelligent, she's funny, she's nurturing,
- 1:00:29Speaker 6: she's godly a great level, and on top of all
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: of that.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: She's beautiful.
- 1:00:37Speaker 6: Now, to me, what you've just described can be true.
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: She could be intelligent, funny, nurturing, godly, and a great level,
- 1:00:50Speaker 6: but beautiful.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Though it's hard hard.
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: To be beautiful. We're raggular. It is so hard. Now,
- 1:00:57Speaker 6: let's just get to this level. She was in a
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: bicycling accident last year, and now she taking her time
- 1:01:07Speaker 6: fixing me. And it's affecting y'all sex life because I
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: tense up whenever we got in public and see somebody
- 1:01:14Speaker 6: we know. Cause of the problem. I became a homebody
- 1:01:18Speaker 6: because I don't want her to tag along. So now
- 1:01:21Speaker 6: you're just staying in the house. You scared to go out.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: What is wrong?
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: What happened?
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: I prayed about it, but I can't help myself, and
- 1:01:35Speaker 6: I changed the subject whenever she talked about wedding planning.
- 1:01:38Speaker 6: And she's starting to notice that something ain't right. Here
- 1:01:41Speaker 6: is the issue, everybody. We're a cycond club, y'all rode
- 1:01:45Speaker 6: bikes early Saturday morning, old highway fiance lost the balance, fell,
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: hit her face on the handleballs. The fall ship the
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: one on her front teeth and knocked out the tooth
- 1:01:57Speaker 6: next to it. Oh, that's that corner tooth. When it
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: chipped one of your front to you and it knock
- 1:02:06Speaker 6: out that corner tooth, that's when you smile and people
- 1:02:09Speaker 6: can see in your head, that's that tooth kind of
- 1:02:14Speaker 6: on the side. She was given the temporary tooth for
- 1:02:18Speaker 6: the one that's missing, but it never stays in, so
- 1:02:23Speaker 6: she does not wag often wait, hold hold dog, what
- 1:02:27Speaker 6: you mean? She on?
- 1:02:28Speaker 2: Wag? What that? What? Holder?
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: Dop?
- 1:02:32Speaker 18: What?
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: We'd have made you this tooth?
- 1:02:36Speaker 6: And because it don't stay in and it ain't fitted right,
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: we got to go get it refitted.
- 1:02:41Speaker 18: We have.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: You have got to put that tooth in your head.
- 1:02:46Speaker 6: You got to nobody want to be walking around with
- 1:02:49Speaker 6: your little fine self with the raggedy little mouth.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: Get your tooth in your head.
- 1:02:55Speaker 10: Had responsible up at twenty three minutes stamp to the
- 1:03:02Speaker 10: our Today's Strawberry letter, subject.
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: She needs to get a few things fixed. All right
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: back after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: Hey, it's Carla Farroh. Kick that old mop and bucket aside.

- 1:03:44Speaker 10: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:47Speaker 10: The subject she needs to get a few things fixed.
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: This woman man ain't got a great relationship. She's intelligent,
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: she's smart, she's lovely, she's god.
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: Fearing, and she beautiful.
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: But she's in a cycling accident, fell on the handleballs
- 1:04:04Speaker 6: and chipped a tooth and chipped the front tooth and
- 1:04:08Speaker 6: knocked the tooth out next to the front tooth.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: Now the whole front of her whole smile gone.
- 1:04:13Speaker 6: Now it's not a smile, it's an activity.
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: What do you mean?
- 1:04:19Speaker 6: Well, you know, instead of smiling, what are we doing?
- 1:04:21Speaker 6: What are we whistling? Speaking?
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: Should?
- 1:04:24Speaker 6: We're always doing something? But you're not smiling. Because when
- 1:04:28Speaker 6: you ain't got teeth in your head, you're either whistling
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: or spitting. I done been around people. It's got that.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: And when they get ready to talk, I step out the.
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: Way because you're gonna get spit on, okay, And then
- 1:04:39Speaker 6: they talk like that all the times.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: You hear that a lot.
- 1:04:45Speaker 6: And once I hear that while you're talking, already know
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: you're missing the tooth. So anyway, she was given a
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: temporary tooth for the one that's missing.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: But it don't stay in, so she don't wear what
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: you mean, she don't wear.
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: You got to put this tooth in your head. This
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: ain't no option, This ain't is I'm I'm if I'm
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: aware of socks or not. You gotta put this tooth.
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: In your head, your mouth. But it's the chip tooth
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: that's the main issue.
- 1:05:15Speaker 6: When I say it effects I love life, Just imagine
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: what I'm talking about. Because she a bit rough, she rough,
- 1:05:22Speaker 6: she got that jagged tooth, she just rough.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: I had to run up out of here.
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: Yeah pretty bad.
- 1:05:31Speaker 6: I done jumped out to bed before because I done
- 1:05:34Speaker 6: got scratched up. That AI can't take. No, that that
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: isn't you can't take scratches. I'm just letting you notice
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: right now. She can never do that again. But I
- 1:05:43Speaker 6: really miss it though, ye'ah, I know you do, but
- 1:05:46Speaker 6: you can't take that.
- 1:05:47Speaker 2: That's that, ain't.
- 1:05:48Speaker 6: You don't have a tolerance. You can't build up a
- 1:05:50Speaker 6: tolerance level for that, don't. He don't he don't.
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: He can't do this no more, Steve Harvey.
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: I'm just I'm just move along, okay.
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: Can I just tell you this though, you cannot build
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: up a pain tolerance there?
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: Once you're hurt, you're always hurting.
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: Thank you? Okay, we got it.
- 1:06:14Speaker 6: Also miskissing her because I can't bring myself to do it.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: Well, you and I already scratch her. One thing what
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: I can't do.
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: Is get my tongue cut now. No, now, my tongue
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: cut now. We ain't making Look so.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: I kissed her yesterday. Now I can't have no French fries.
- 1:06:34Speaker 6: I know she hates the Nists and I do too,
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: but I wish she stopped canceling her appointments to get
- 1:06:40Speaker 6: her mouth together. Yeah, bro, I should be more supportive,
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: but I'm starting to be resentful. She is sabotaging our
- 1:06:48Speaker 6: future by postponing our web. Should I force her to
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: go to the Dinnists or should I force myself to
- 1:06:54Speaker 6: deal with her edge.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: You mouth, We got to go to this dinnist.
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: Yeah, because you're not dealing with the your mouth, you're
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: not doing it. You don't want to kiss him. You
- 1:07:03Speaker 6: don't want her kissing on you. Ain't nothing working with
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: this tooth but Steve and then the other one she
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: don't want to wear.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: Right, So now you got the chiptooth and a hole
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: in your head.
- 1:07:15Speaker 10: But can't you give him some advice because you don't
- 1:07:17Speaker 10: like the dance, Well, you're spitting on me when you
- 1:07:19Speaker 10: talk to me.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: You don't like the dentists either, but you go. You
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: just went to the Come.
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: On, Sureley, this ain't for him. He wants to He
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: don't like the dentists either, but he want his woman back.
- 1:07:31Speaker 6: I know you have got to sit down and talk
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: to her about what this is doing. And at one
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: point in time you're going to have to say these
- 1:07:41Speaker 6: words right here.
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: What you look crazy? Baby?
- 1:07:50Speaker 10: Yes, darling, yes, honey, sweetie, yes honey.

- 1:08:17Speaker 2: You got hold in your head. You're the tooth of
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: chip baby.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: If you know, I felt like the this is don't.
- 1:08:23Speaker 6: Nobody like the dinners. But you got to carry your
- 1:08:25Speaker 6: little crazy yourself down there. Look how you talk.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Let's talk about a wedding plans.
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: We can't have no wedding. We can't raise no baby's
- 1:08:32Speaker 2: talking like this? Now you ton tied? What's wrong with you?
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: How you gonna say your vow? I too? No, it's
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: I do. We already know it's two of us.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: I had the souf, but I don't like it keeps
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: falling out.

- 1:08:50Speaker 6: But if it fall out, put it back up there
- 1:08:51Speaker 6: like we gotta get go in ahead and get me
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: a hammer. I can get too for in your head,

- 1:13:51Speaker 10: Coming up at the top of the hour, a guy
- 1:13:53Speaker 10: needs some advice. He is shocked by a good girl
- 1:13:56Speaker 10: gone wrong. We'll get into it right after this. You're
- 1:13:59Speaker 10: listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. This is from Keenan
- 1:14:07Speaker 10: in Elmhurst. Steve Keenan says, I thought I found the
- 1:14:10Speaker 10: perfect woman, and maybe I have, but I need to
- 1:14:13Speaker 10: get your opinion first. Our first date was a prom
- 1:14:17Speaker 10: at the high school where she teaches. I was her
- 1:14:20Speaker 10: escort and it was a lot of fun and I
- 1:14:22Speaker 10: got to see how much the students love her. Our
- 1:14:25Speaker 10: second date was mind blowing, an out of character for her.
- 1:14:29Speaker 10: We went to see the Marvel movie and midway through
- 1:14:31Speaker 10: the movie, she came on very strong and was ready
- 1:14:34Speaker 10: to get down in the theater. She said she wore
- 1:14:37Speaker 10: a dress for easy access. I wasn't ready for that,
- 1:14:40Speaker 10: and she said she came prepared with condoms. I was
- 1:14:44Speaker 10: with it one hundred percent, but I wanted to respect her,
- 1:14:47Speaker 10: so I told her, no, easy girls aren't hard to find.
- 1:14:50Speaker 10: I had hoped this one was a keeper. Should I
- 1:14:53Speaker 10: judge her by her actions?
- 1:14:55Speaker 6: Well, you already have. She moved a little bit faster
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: than you wanted to. I don't know who brings a
- 1:15:04Speaker 6: condom to the movie.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Kid for easy access? Well, I appreciate the dress on
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: the second date.
- 1:15:14Speaker 6: Well, I appreciate the dress. That's not the problem. I
- 1:15:17Speaker 6: appreciate your access statement to no process. It's them condoms
- 1:15:22Speaker 6: in these chairs, right. I'm just trying to figure out
- 1:15:25Speaker 6: because y'all got the new theaters, I ain't never been
- 1:15:27Speaker 6: in where the chairs lay all the way back and
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: they all that.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Yes, but but we in the movie, though, I would
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: just walk it a little slow and see where it goes. Bro.
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: You know, maybe you, maybe you just that exceptional dude
- 1:15:44Speaker 6: that got her all out of character. Maybe she can't
- 1:15:47Speaker 6: believe she met you and she thinks this is what
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: you would like. Maybe that's it, but don't throw don't
- 1:15:53Speaker 6: throw away yet, just to go home and see what
- 1:15:55Speaker 6: it is. I think you got to give us some
- 1:15:57Speaker 6: time and find out the reasoning for doing that.
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: You know you may be more than you.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: Thank you, So you're saying, at least take it to
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: a third day, because that was yeah second.
- 1:16:07Speaker 6: I mean, it's like going out with Tommy. I would
- 1:16:09Speaker 6: imagine he think he thinks he's more than he is tubes.
- 1:16:12Speaker 6: So I'm a lot I get it, get you see
- 1:16:15Speaker 6: Countain America. I want to get nked to.
- 1:16:20Speaker 19: All right, we have time for another one can con
- 1:16:26Speaker 19: an address for easy.
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: Access, and she I.
- 1:16:31Speaker 9: For me, you can give me all that.
- 1:16:34Speaker 10: We have time for another one. This one's from Carmen
- 1:16:37Speaker 10: and d C DC Metro. She says, I'm fifty seven
- 1:16:41Speaker 10: and just got divorced. I was married for almost six
- 1:16:43Speaker 10: months and my husband didn't come home one night. I
- 1:16:46Speaker 10: didn't know if he was cheating or in the hospital.
- 1:16:49Speaker 10: I moved out the next day and filed for divorce immediately.
- 1:16:53Speaker 10: I refused to be with another cheater. Now he's begging
- 1:16:56Speaker 10: to tell me what happened. Should I hear him out?
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: You should, because he's gonna have a good one. What
- 1:17:03Speaker 2: could he say? Though?
- 1:17:05Speaker 6: Whoa, it's so many things, you know. Hey, hey, I
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: was waiting on the elevator working the door open. It
- 1:17:12Speaker 6: wasn't no elevator, and I stepped on and I just
- 1:17:14Speaker 6: plummeted and I fell down the shaft on top of
- 1:17:18Speaker 6: the elevator. And when I woke up, man, it was borning.
- 1:17:21Speaker 6: And I finally crawled down in the thing came on home. Wow,
- 1:17:26Speaker 6: but you was gone, and you didn't give me a
- 1:17:28Speaker 6: chance to tell you my legs and back is killing
- 1:17:31Speaker 6: me from the fall.
- 1:17:33Speaker 8: Ye.
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: That's that's one fell. That's one shaft one.
- 1:17:42Speaker 6: Then the other one is I was, you know, like
- 1:17:45Speaker 6: you know, because they in Texas. I was driving and
- 1:17:47Speaker 6: I saw van and I had a lot of uh
- 1:17:51Speaker 6: uh illegal immigrants on it, and all of them was thirsty,
- 1:17:55Speaker 6: and so I was so that lie but no, this
- 1:18:01Speaker 6: we're going though, let me hear in anyway, And so
- 1:18:03Speaker 6: then you know, they was all hungry hot in the van.
- 1:18:08Speaker 11: Uh.
- 1:18:08Speaker 6: And I put him in my car and took them
- 1:18:10Speaker 6: down to steak and shake and they just kept ordering
- 1:18:14Speaker 6: the next thing, you know, we're sitting there just ordering
- 1:18:16Speaker 6: steak and shake all night long?
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: How stupid do you think she is?
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: Next thing? I know our home lord in morning, let
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: me get home.
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: So you're in a film all night?
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: That hard ordering for him in her days? Speak English red.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: Coming up in twenty.
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: Yeah, y'all got an see and tape back there.
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: Stick with the elevator shaft one.
- 1:18:41Speaker 10: Okay, coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll
- 1:18:44Speaker 10: have more of this ignorant show.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Guys.

- 1:19:06Speaker 10: of the city and encompasses the city's music, art, food,

- 1:20:03Speaker 6: need to be more of a role model with my
- 1:20:05Speaker 6: grammar to young kids.

- 1:25:40Speaker 6: in wanting it, you're going to have to be willing
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: to go get it. No one's going to hand it
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: to you. It's not gonna show up at the door
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: and present itself. You have to go and get it.
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:25:57Speaker 6: In order to go get it, you're gonna have to
- 1:26:00Speaker 6: have a strong will. You gotta be strong minded. You're
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: going to have to be determined. You got to have
- 1:26:11Speaker 6: a made up mind that I am going to accomplish this,
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: whatever it is, and I'm going to do the things
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: that are required of me to get it done. And
- 1:26:23Speaker 6: when it get rough out there, I'm gonna keep going.
- 1:26:27Speaker 6: And when I get knocked down, I'm gonna get back up.
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: And when they hate on me, I'm gonna keep moving
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: when they throw the sticks and stones, keep pushing when
- 1:26:43Speaker 6: they try to bring you down. Stay on the wall,
- 1:26:48Speaker 6: Be determined, get your mind made up.
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: Prepare to be different. You're not gonna be like them
- 1:26:57Speaker 2: no more.
- 1:26:58Speaker 6: Once you make up your mind that you are going
- 1:27:01Speaker 6: to become something that you are determined and hell bent
- 1:27:06Speaker 6: on accomplishing your goals, You're gonna lose some people along
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: the way. I'm sorry, you are going to lose some
- 1:27:12Speaker 6: people along the way. Get ready that those people that
- 1:27:15Speaker 6: you're gonna lose, they wasn't for you.
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: No way.
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: It's gonna surprise you with some of the people you're
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: gonna lose. But all of them are dead weight. See,
- 1:27:27Speaker 6: they was cool with you as long as you was
- 1:27:28Speaker 6: around them, as long as you was acting like them,
- 1:27:32Speaker 6: hanging out with them. But the moment you make the
- 1:27:35Speaker 6: decision to leave them to go further and you don't
- 1:27:41Speaker 6: take them with you, number one, because they're not equipped
- 1:27:46Speaker 6: to go into the orbit that you're about to sell.
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: That's number one. And God knows that. But God puts
- 1:27:57Speaker 6: people in your life to teach you a lesson. There
- 1:28:00Speaker 6: are people there in your life who are there to
- 1:28:02Speaker 6: hurt you, But in that hurt you learn a lesson.
- 1:28:07Speaker 6: There are people in your life who are going to
- 1:28:10Speaker 6: betray you, but they are there to teach you the
- 1:28:13Speaker 6: lesson of how to spot betrayal. Because another one is
- 1:28:16Speaker 6: coming and ain't no need of you hiring or befriending
- 1:28:19Speaker 6: him too. So if you've seen the movie before, don't
- 1:28:23Speaker 6: you don't have to buy a ticket to that one.
- 1:28:27Speaker 6: So what I'm saying to you is in your quest
- 1:28:30Speaker 6: for success, you are going to have to suffer some things.
- 1:28:35Speaker 6: But in the suffering is the lessons that would prepare
- 1:28:38Speaker 6: you for where you are asking God to take you.
- 1:28:42Speaker 6: It's all right when you lose people, It's okay. My
- 1:28:46Speaker 6: father told me this a long time ago, and boy, never,
- 1:28:49Speaker 6: it never is nothing more true. Everybody come with you
- 1:28:53Speaker 6: can't go with you. You got some people you've been
- 1:28:58Speaker 6: friends with for a while, but where you're going, they
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: can't go because number one, man, they're not built for
- 1:29:05Speaker 6: the altitude that you're about to be in. And if
- 1:29:08Speaker 6: you try to take them, they're gonna be like dead. Wait,
- 1:29:12Speaker 6: and if you insist on taking them when they get
- 1:29:14Speaker 6: up in them high altitudes with you, they're gonna mess
- 1:29:17Speaker 6: it up for you. They're gonna do something up there
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: with something with them next level people that's against the rules,
- 1:29:24Speaker 6: and they gonna break you down. Took a friend of
- 1:29:29Speaker 6: mine I sold insurance. I took a friend of mine
- 1:29:31Speaker 6: I grew up with to the company Picnic. Biggest mistake
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: I ever made. Biggest mistake I ever made.
- 1:29:39Speaker 2: Hood Boy.
- 1:29:40Speaker 6: Took him to the company Picnic because he could play
- 1:29:42Speaker 6: baseball real well head softball. He was gonna play, and
- 1:29:45Speaker 6: I was just gonna have him on my team because
- 1:29:47Speaker 6: body's dude could hit throw everything. I'm over there, we
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: through playing baseball, but he stay over there. My boss
- 1:29:56Speaker 6: is over there. All of a sudden, I'm playing volleyball
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: with these girls over here, and all of a sudden out.
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: Here, Oh oh.
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: No, I go over there. My boss on the ground.
- 1:30:12Speaker 6: He's standing over my boss with baseball in his hand.
- 1:30:16Speaker 6: He didne took the baseball, ball it up and fist
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: and punch my boss. Now, then brought him to the picnic.
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: I said, well, what you doing, man? He looking at
- 1:30:29Speaker 6: me like, I ain't nobody now what you mean looking
- 1:30:31Speaker 6: at you? He was looking at me, man, You know that.
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: Look whoa whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa he don't know you, maybe, bro,
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: what you mean he was looking? Now, he didn't knock.
- 1:30:40Speaker 6: My boss out because he was looking at him. Now,
- 1:30:43Speaker 6: guess what, I ain't got no job no more because
- 1:30:48Speaker 6: I took somebody with me who wasn't supposed to be there.
- 1:30:52Speaker 6: Because everybody come with you can't go with you. It's
- 1:30:58Speaker 6: all right to drop them off, folks. It ain't your
- 1:31:01Speaker 6: job to take them. And if God wanted them up there,
- 1:31:04Speaker 6: he to put them up there. So quit taking people
- 1:31:08Speaker 6: places that don't belong. And you're not the deciding factor.
- 1:31:11Speaker 6: And who goes high anyway, that's between him and God.
- 1:31:16Speaker 6: Be determined, stay determined, work hard, be relentless, be persistent,
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: and be willing to fight. And have a lot of
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: dog in you, because if you ain't got no dog in.
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: You, you gonna get bitten.
- 1:31:34Speaker 6: But they don't like to bite dogs that bite back,
- 1:31:37Speaker 6: and you got to develop that.
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: Now.
- 1:31:40Speaker 6: I hope that registered with somebody today. But that's real talk.
- 1:31:44Speaker 6: Everything I said is FACTI y'all have a great day today.
