- 0:01Speaker 1: The stay of the Union.
- 0:02Speaker 2: It was clear when it happened that Joe Biden was
- 0:06Speaker 2: changing his narrative on Israel. It was obvious that the
- 0:11Speaker 2: present that was standing by Israel was learning that he
- 0:15Speaker 2: needed to change his stance because many voters thirty five
- 0:19Speaker 2: and under who are Democrats, are furious with the president
- 0:24Speaker 2: for standing semi close to Israel. Democrats are also polling
- 0:30Speaker 2: on this issue and realizing that it is unpopular with
- 0:33Speaker 2: the radical Marxist left of their party to stand with Israel.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Many young people in this country who do not understand
- 0:41Speaker 2: the history of Israel because we don't teach it in
- 0:44Speaker 2: our schools anymore, who don't understand World War Two, don't
- 0:47Speaker 2: understand the Holocaust, don't understand Adolph Hitler was even a
- 0:50Speaker 2: bad guy, are sitting there now believing that somehow the
- 0:55Speaker 2: aggressors here Hamas and the Palestinians who butcher and killed
- 1:01Speaker 2: countless Jews solely because they were Jews, and are still
- 1:04Speaker 2: holding them hostage, or somehow the bad guys. Now, let

- 1:55Speaker 2: their biggest donations are going.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Year after year to Plan Parenthood.

- 2:14Speaker 2: Five percent of that bill goes back to support conservative causes, candidates,
- 2:21Speaker 2: and organizations. We're talking about causes like supporting the rights
- 2:25Speaker 2: of unborn children. We're talking about supporting our veterans, our
- 2:29Speaker 2: wounded warriors, our first responders, talking about supporting candidates and organizations.
- 2:35Speaker 2: That's what they do that support our First and our
- 2:37Speaker 2: Second Amendment rights.
- 2:38Speaker 1: So vote with your dollars every day.
- 2:40Speaker 2: When you make a phone call, every day, when you

- 3:05Speaker 2: Now you look at this on college campuses, you look
- 3:08Speaker 2: at this among young people.
- 3:11Speaker 1: They truly believe.
- 3:13Speaker 2: That Hamas is justified in their actions to kill Jews.
- 3:18Speaker 2: They're the same people in this country that are actually
- 3:21Speaker 2: chanting from the river to the sea. And it's not
- 3:24Speaker 2: just young ignorant people in this country. And yes they
- 3:28Speaker 2: are ignorant for standing with actual terrorists, but it is
- 3:32Speaker 2: the Democratic Party leadership. Now they are looking at an
- 3:36Speaker 2: election where President Joe Biden didn't get the bump that
- 3:40Speaker 2: they wanted after the State of the Union, and so
- 3:43Speaker 2: now they're having to pivot and pander to the Marxists
- 3:47Speaker 2: and the socialists and the communists within their party. Now,
- 3:51Speaker 2: I have said countless times on this show, and I
- 3:54Speaker 2: will continue to say it. I believe the Democratic Party
- 3:57Speaker 2: is dead. Democrats don't exist anymore in the Democratic Party.
- 4:02Speaker 2: It is Marxist, socialists and communists who are masquerading as Democrats,
- 4:08Speaker 2: plain and simple. And what we now have is an
- 4:11Speaker 2: older Democratic Party that is understanding that they believe, or
- 4:15Speaker 2: at least they have an understanding they think that is
- 4:19Speaker 2: we must take our hand off of Israel, and it's
- 4:21Speaker 2: time for us to turn on Israel to placate the younger,
- 4:26Speaker 2: woke extremists in the Democratic Party. You could see this happening,
- 4:32Speaker 2: and I was warning you. I thought this was going
- 4:34Speaker 2: to happen, that this White House was going to be
- 4:37Speaker 2: forced by their own extremists to take their hand off
- 4:41Speaker 2: of Israel. Well, now it has actually happened. NBC News
- 4:46Speaker 2: reporting it this way about the Democratic leadership and the
- 4:50Speaker 2: Democrat Senate majority leaner Chuck Schumer now saying it's time
- 4:55Speaker 2: for Israel's Prime Minister at Yahoo to go. He's not
- 5:00Speaker 2: saying about the Hamas leadership. He's not saying that about
- 5:03Speaker 2: the Palestinians. No, he's saying it about Israel. And why
- 5:07Speaker 2: is he saying this One simple reason. He believes that
- 5:11Speaker 2: he must say it to make sure that Democrats stay
- 5:17Speaker 2: in office and Joe Biden has a chance of being
- 5:20Speaker 2: re elected. Listen carefully to how NBC News is reporting
- 5:25Speaker 2: on this story. Now, if they were real journalists and
- 5:28Speaker 2: being honest, they would come out and say this, the
- 5:30Speaker 2: Democratic Party is now standing with the terrorist Hamas and
- 5:34Speaker 2: the Palestinian radicals. But that's not how they're going to
- 5:37Speaker 2: report this story at all, because the media is dead
- 5:41Speaker 2: and we have government propaganda now here.
- 5:43Speaker 1: It is.
- 5:46Speaker 3: As Israel targets Hamas in Gaza and the humanitarian crisis grows.
- 5:50Speaker 3: The top Senate Democrat delivering a scathing rebuke of Israeli
- 5:53Speaker 3: Prime Minister Benjamin Netan Yahoo, saying he needs to be
- 5:57Speaker 3: replaced in new elections.
- 5:59Speaker 4: Prime Minister Yahoo has lost his way by allowing his
- 6:03Speaker 4: political survival to take the precedence over the best interests
- 6:08Speaker 4: of Israel.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Schumer, the highest ranking Jewish elected official in American history,
- 6:13Speaker 3: laying Blaine for the war at the feet of Hamas,
- 6:16Speaker 3: but saying net Yahoo is an obstacle to peace.
- 6:19Speaker 4: He has been too willing to tolerate the civilian toll
- 6:22Speaker 4: in Gaza, which is pushing support for Israel worldwide to
- 6:26Speaker 4: historic lows. Israel cannot survive if it becomes a pariah.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Republican leaders slamming the criticism of net Yahoo, who is
- 6:35Speaker 3: also known as Bibe, the democratically elected leader of a
- 6:39Speaker 3: close US ally.
- 6:40Speaker 5: The Democratic Party, doesn't have an anti Bib problem. It
- 6:45Speaker 5: is an anti Israel problem.
- 6:48Speaker 6: It's just plain wrong for an American leader to play
- 6:51Speaker 6: such a divisive role in Israeli politics while our closest
- 6:55Speaker 6: ally in the region is in an existential battle for
- 6:58Speaker 6: its very survival.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Net Yahoo has not responded to Schumer's comments. Meanwhile, President
- 7:04Speaker 3: Biden has criticized Israel's military operations as over the top
- 7:08Speaker 3: and privately complain of net Yahoo quote giving him hell,
- 7:11Speaker 3: sources told NBC News last month.
- 7:13Speaker 2: He was also caught on that hot mic after the
- 7:16Speaker 2: State of the Union referring to Joe Biden talking about
- 7:19Speaker 2: how he was going to give a talking to two
- 7:22Speaker 2: net Yahoo. Now, I want you to understand, and I
- 7:27Speaker 2: still am in shock by this. You noticed in that
- 7:30Speaker 2: report they said that this is the highest ranking Jewish
- 7:33Speaker 2: official in our government.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Schumer's Jewish, but.
- 7:38Speaker 2: He cares more about power than he does, apparently about
- 7:42Speaker 2: Jewish people. We wouldn't be having the conversation we're having
- 7:45Speaker 2: right now if it wasn't for Hamas, who's backed by
- 7:48Speaker 2: Iran and the Palestinian leadership, who had no problem helping
- 7:53Speaker 2: support and aid the terrorist attack on innocent men, women,
- 7:58Speaker 2: and children. We wouldn't be having this converse if it
- 8:01Speaker 2: wasn't for a massive nine to eleven style attack on Israel.
- 8:04Speaker 2: We wouldn't be having this conversation. If it wasn't for
- 8:06Speaker 2: the fact that they had taken hostages from infant children
- 8:10Speaker 2: up to elderly individuals in their nineties. We wouldn't be
- 8:14Speaker 2: having this conversation right now if it wasn't for terrorism.
- 8:21Speaker 2: But the Democratic Party is so obsessed with power, and
- 8:25Speaker 2: it shouldn't surprise you look at what they're doing to
- 8:27Speaker 2: Donald Trump to try to keep power. They're willing to
- 8:30Speaker 2: lock up anybody that gets in their way, and even
- 8:33Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer is willing to sell out to keep the
- 8:36Speaker 2: power because they must have these Marxist and socialists and
- 8:40Speaker 2: communists that are masquerading as Democrats, that are their voters
- 8:44Speaker 2: stand beside them on election day and they're looking at
- 8:48Speaker 2: the election, and they're looking at the map, and they're
- 8:51Speaker 2: looking at the numbers, and they're saying, Okay, we've got
- 8:53Speaker 2: to shore up our base. And one of the problems
- 8:55Speaker 2: is if we look like we're with Israel, apparently we
- 8:57Speaker 2: lose a bunch of these eighteen to.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Thirty four years voters. So how do we make sure
- 9:03Speaker 1: they're with us?
- 9:03Speaker 2: All right, let's stand with a terrorists, let's stand with ams,
- 9:06Speaker 2: and let's announce that Yahoo who was democratically elected. No
- 9:10Speaker 2: one's saying that the election over there wasn't real or
- 9:12Speaker 2: authentic or free. Benjaminette now, who is clearly the leader
- 9:16Speaker 2: of the people at Israel. Now we'll see what happens
- 9:20Speaker 2: after this ground war and what happens with his future.
- 9:22Speaker 2: But honestly, it's none of our business. They are ally
- 9:27Speaker 2: and he is the leader of that country. They are
- 9:30Speaker 2: on They went on defense right after they were attacked.
- 9:34Speaker 2: And when you were attacked, that way you must take
- 9:37Speaker 2: out your enemy. There's no way to stand there and say, okay,
- 9:40Speaker 2: let's have a truce. It is to beat them into submission.
- 9:44Speaker 2: No different, by the way than what we did to
- 9:45Speaker 2: al Qaeda no different than what we did to Isis
- 9:48Speaker 2: or al Shabab or anybody else that's ever challenged us.
- 9:52Speaker 2: It's the same thing. But who the hell are these Democrats?
- 9:56Speaker 2: And I will say it even in a broader sense,
- 9:58Speaker 2: who the hell are we as a country to tell
- 9:59Speaker 2: the people of Israel they must get rid of their
- 10:02Speaker 2: leader who was duly elected in a free and fair election.
- 10:06Speaker 2: You have to understand, though, this is not really about
- 10:09Speaker 2: any of that. And I agree with what was said
- 10:12Speaker 2: by the Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. The Democratic Party
- 10:16Speaker 2: didn't have a BB problem. The Democratic Party has an
- 10:19Speaker 2: anti Jewish problem, an anti Israel problem, and that is
- 10:23Speaker 2: real in the Democratic Party. Look at how many Congressmen
- 10:27Speaker 2: and how many Senators have not stood by Israel and
- 10:30Speaker 2: have denounced Israel even after they were attacked, saying they
- 10:33Speaker 2: basically deserved it. I also want you to hear my
- 10:38Speaker 2: conversation that I had with my co host, Senator Ted Cruz.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I get to host a show with him Verdict with
- 10:43Speaker 2: Ted Cruz. We had a long conversation about Israel and
- 10:47Speaker 2: about the Senate and about what's happening in Washington, d C.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Not only by Mitch McConnell, but also what was said
- 10:54Speaker 2: by Chuck Schumer. And I want you to hear part
- 10:58Speaker 2: of what he had to say to me when we
- 11:00Speaker 2: were talking about this. If you want to hear the
- 11:02Speaker 2: entire thing, download Verdict with Ted Cruz and you can
- 11:05Speaker 2: hear it in its entirety. But this is a couple
- 11:07Speaker 2: of points that he made that I thought were really important.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I want to play for you.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Take a listen, Senator, let's talk about the backdrop for
- 11:15Speaker 2: what Schumer said and why this timing is so significant.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I think it has a lot to do with the
- 11:21Speaker 2: state of the Union. I really want your opinion on that.
- 11:24Speaker 2: It was pretty clear that the President was kind of
- 11:27Speaker 2: changing a little bit his perspective and his words on Israel.
- 11:32Speaker 2: He was also caught on a hot mic that we
- 11:33Speaker 2: talked about here on Verdict as well. And as I
- 11:37Speaker 2: watched Chuck Schumer say these words on the floor of
- 11:39Speaker 2: the Senate yesterday, there was honestly a part of me
- 11:44Speaker 2: that I'm like, I'm not even sure Chuck Schumer believes this,
- 11:46Speaker 2: and I want your take on that. Maybe he really does,
- 11:49Speaker 2: but it was almost like it was a decision made
- 11:52Speaker 2: within the Democratic Party. Okay, we got to get people younger.
- 11:56Speaker 2: And a lot of the radicals of the Democratic Party,
- 11:59Speaker 2: the Socialists and the Marxist and the Communists, they hate Israel.
- 12:03Speaker 2: They support Hamas and the Palestinians. They believe that Israel
- 12:07Speaker 2: is evil. So let's placate to them. I'll go give
- 12:11Speaker 2: this speech that I would have never given before, and
- 12:14Speaker 2: maybe that'll get them back in an excitement to vote
- 12:17Speaker 2: for us. Is there a possibility that could have been
- 12:20Speaker 2: part of what this is about just straight up selling
- 12:22Speaker 2: out or do you believe he actually believes what he's
- 12:24Speaker 2: saying about getting rid of neat Yahu.
- 12:26Speaker 7: Well, I think there's several things that are going on. Yes,
- 12:28Speaker 7: I believe what. I believe he believes what he's saying.
- 12:32Speaker 7: The Democrats have hated net Yahu from the beginning. They
- 12:35Speaker 7: despise him, they view him. Democrats view Netanyahu as the
- 12:40Speaker 7: Israeli equivalent of Donald Trump, and they hate him with
- 12:44Speaker 7: a comparable fury. And much of that stems back to
- 12:48Speaker 7: when Barack Obama was president and Obama pushed forward the
- 12:53Speaker 7: catastrophic Iran nuclear deal and they tried to muscle all
- 12:59Speaker 7: of our out into accepting it, and the Obama White
- 13:02Speaker 7: House tried to muscle Congressional Democrats into accepting it. Virtually
- 13:07Speaker 7: every single Congressional Democrat meekly knuckled under to the Obama
- 13:12Speaker 7: White House's pressure. And Benjamin Netanyah, who heroically stood up
- 13:16Speaker 7: and said, this is an existential threat to Israel, that
- 13:20Speaker 7: when the Iatolas says death to Israel, a nuclear Iran
- 13:24Speaker 7: poses a very real threat of a mushroom cloud over
- 13:28Speaker 7: Tehran or Jerusalem. And it is the one threat on
- 13:32Speaker 7: the face of the planet capable of once again murdering
- 13:36Speaker 7: six million Jews if never again is to mean anything. Netnyah,
- 13:40Speaker 7: who argued rightly, we cannot allow Iran to have a
- 13:44Speaker 7: nuclear weapon. And I'll tell you Democrats have never forgiven
- 13:48Speaker 7: him for daring to stand up to the Obama White House.
- 13:53Speaker 7: And I remember at the time there was a Republican
- 13:57Speaker 7: House Representatives that invited Benjamin netany Yeah who to speak
- 14:01Speaker 7: to address a joint session of Congress. I was there.
- 14:03Speaker 7: I heard that speech. It was an historic speech. It
- 14:07Speaker 7: was a speech that I described then and I still
- 14:09Speaker 7: consider to be Churchillian in terms of its clarity, in
- 14:13Speaker 7: terms of its strength, in terms of its unwillingness to
- 14:17Speaker 7: knuckle under. And yet even back then, multiple Democrats boycotted
- 14:22Speaker 7: the speech, refused even to listen to the elected Prime
- 14:26Speaker 7: Minister of Israel. Well, that hatred is real. That's one
- 14:30Speaker 7: thing that's going on. But then a second thing that's
- 14:32Speaker 7: going on that is in many ways even more concerning,
- 14:37Speaker 7: is the Democrat Party, day by day by day, is
- 14:40Speaker 7: turning against Israel. If you look at polling numbers now
- 14:44Speaker 7: among Democrats, if you ask Democrats whom do you support,
- 14:47Speaker 7: Israel or the Palestinians, The numbers are growing every single
- 14:51Speaker 7: day of Democrats who say, we're with the Palestinians. And
- 14:57Speaker 7: here's the dirty little secret. Some people are saying, well,
- 15:00Speaker 7: it's just the squad, it's just the radical anti Semites
- 15:04Speaker 7: on the far left of the Democrat Party. They're the
- 15:06Speaker 7: ones doing it. And the crazies on college campuses. I'll
- 15:09Speaker 7: tell you, Bennett's a lot more concerning than that. It
- 15:12Speaker 7: is the Biden Whitehouse. It is Chuck Schumer, the self
- 15:16Speaker 7: declared guardian of Israel, who is the median of the
- 15:21Speaker 7: Democratic Party, is steadily turning against Israel. Here just play
- 15:26Speaker 7: Schumer's comments on the floor yesterday.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Israeli side the US government should demand that Israel conduct
- 15:35Speaker 4: itself with a future two state solution in mind. We
- 15:39Speaker 4: should not be forced into a position of unequivocally supporting
- 15:43Speaker 4: the actions of an Israeli government that include biggots who
- 15:47Speaker 4: reject the idea of the Palestinian state. Israel is a democracy.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Five months into this conflict, it is clear that Israeli's
- 15:58Speaker 4: need to take stock of the situation and ask must
- 16:02Speaker 4: we change course at this critical juncture. I believe a
- 16:08Speaker 4: new election is the only way to allow for a
- 16:11Speaker 4: healthy and open decision making process about the future of
- 16:16Speaker 4: Israel at a time when so many Israelis have lost
- 16:20Speaker 4: their confidence in the vision and direction of their government.
- 16:25Speaker 4: I also believe a majority of the Israeli public will
- 16:28Speaker 4: recognize the need for change, and I believe that holding
- 16:31Speaker 4: a new election once the war starts to wind down
- 16:35Speaker 4: would give Israelis an opportunity to express their vision for
- 16:40Speaker 4: the post war future. Of course, the United States cannot
- 16:44Speaker 4: dictate the outcome of an election, nor should we try.
- 16:50Speaker 4: That is for the Israeli public to decide. A public
- 16:54Speaker 4: that I believe understands better than anybody that Israel cannot
- 16:58Speaker 4: hope to succeed as as a pariah opposed by the
- 17:02Speaker 4: rest of the world. As a democracy, Israel has the
- 17:07Speaker 4: right to choose its own leaders, and we should let
- 17:09Speaker 4: the chips fall where they may. But the important thing
- 17:13Speaker 4: is that Israelis are given a choice. There needs to
- 17:16Speaker 4: be a fresh debate about the future of Israel after
- 17:19Speaker 4: October seventh. In my opinion, that is best accomplished by
- 17:25Speaker 4: holding an election. If President net to Prime Minister Netanyahu's
- 17:31Speaker 4: current coalition remains in power after the war begins to
- 17:34Speaker 4: wind down and continues to pursue dangerous and inflammatory policies
- 17:39Speaker 4: that test existing US standards for assistance, then the United
- 17:43Speaker 4: States will have no choice but to play a more
- 17:46Speaker 4: active role in shaping Israeli policy by using our leverage
- 17:50Speaker 4: to change the present course. The United States bond with
- 17:56Speaker 4: Israel as unbreakable, but if extremists continue to undo the
- 18:00Speaker 4: influence Israeli policy, then the administration should use the tools
- 18:04Speaker 4: at its disposal to make sure our support for Israel
- 18:07Speaker 4: is aligned with our broader goal of achieving long term
- 18:11Speaker 4: peace and stability in the region. I believe this would
- 18:15Speaker 4: make a lasting two two state solution more likely.
- 18:20Speaker 2: Senator, you hear that, I mean he's basically giving the
- 18:22Speaker 2: talking points for the Palestinian in hamas.
- 18:26Speaker 7: Well, he's giving the talking points for the left wing
- 18:30Speaker 7: of the Democrat Party. And let's stop for a second
- 18:36Speaker 7: once one line that Schumer says there. He says, Israel
- 18:39Speaker 7: is a democracy, and that's true, and he says they
- 18:42Speaker 7: need to have an election. Well, they did have an election.
- 18:46Speaker 7: They had an election and Benjamin Netanyahu was elected. He's
- 18:50Speaker 7: the elected leader. How would Schumer feel if net Yahoo
- 18:57Speaker 7: gave a speech and said America is a democracy and
- 19:01Speaker 7: they should call an election today to determine if Joe
- 19:04Speaker 7: Biden should still be president. That's what Schumer just said.
- 19:09Speaker 7: That he doesn't give a damn who the people of
- 19:11Speaker 7: Israel elected. Net Yaho was elected in a far and
- 19:15Speaker 7: square election. Nobody disputes that. It's just Chuck Schumer and
- 19:19Speaker 7: the rest of the Democrat Party doesn't like the choice
- 19:25Speaker 7: that the people of Israel made. And there is an
- 19:29Speaker 7: arrogance to if you listen to what he says. He
- 19:32Speaker 7: says there should be an immediate election. And then he says,
- 19:36Speaker 7: if they elect net Yahoo again after we the Democrats
- 19:40Speaker 7: have told them not to, well then we should use
- 19:43Speaker 7: us power to force them to change their policy. The
- 19:49Speaker 7: absolute arrogance of that is stunning. And by the way,
- 19:54Speaker 7: you know some people pretend, well Democrats, they just dislike
- 20:01Speaker 7: net and Yahoo. This is not directed at.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Israel.
- 20:06Speaker 7: Well, Benny Gantz, from the opposing party in Israel, he
- 20:09Speaker 7: put out a statement yesterday. Here was Benny Gantz's statement quote,
- 20:14Speaker 7: the United States and Israel share common values and interests,
- 20:17Speaker 7: and the citizens of Israel profoundly cherish the clear stance
- 20:21Speaker 7: of the United States and support of Israel throughout these
- 20:23Speaker 7: trying times. The Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is a
- 20:27Speaker 7: friend of Israel, and though he aired in his remarks,
- 20:31Speaker 7: plays an important role in assisting the state of Israel,
- 20:34Speaker 7: including during these difficult times. Israel is a robust democracy
- 20:39Speaker 7: and only its citizens will decide its future and leadership.
- 20:44Speaker 7: Any external interference on the matter is counterproductive and unacceptable.
- 20:50Speaker 7: Well what do you think Schumer was doing right there?
- 20:52Speaker 7: That's counterproductive and unacceptable. And so I mean that demonstrates
- 20:56Speaker 7: Look across the leadership in Israel, there is consensus that
- 21:02Speaker 7: Israel must defeat hamas you know, where there isn't consensus
- 21:07Speaker 7: in the Democrat Party. In the Democrat Party, and I
- 21:10Speaker 7: gotta say, look, I serve with these guys. I'm on
- 21:12Speaker 7: the Senate FORID Relations Committee. When we have a hearing,
- 21:15Speaker 7: almost every Democrat, all they go on and on about
- 21:20Speaker 7: is Gaza. We've got to save Gaza. We've got to
- 21:22Speaker 7: give relief to Gaza. It's as if October seventh didn't happen.
- 21:27Speaker 7: Understand where these Democrats are. October seventh was a grotesque
- 21:31Speaker 7: act of terrorism where Hamas terrorists murdered over twelve hundred people.
- 21:36Speaker 7: They raped and murdered children, They took over two hundred hostages.
- 21:42Speaker 7: It was the single worst mass murder of Jews since
- 21:45Speaker 7: the Holocaust. And the reaction of the American Democrat Party
- 21:49Speaker 7: is to pivot hard against Israel and want to reward
- 21:53Speaker 7: Hamas and their sponsored the nation of Iran for committing
- 21:58Speaker 7: that grotesque active tair.
- 22:00Speaker 2: You know, Mitch McConnell, and and look, you've been critical
- 22:04Speaker 2: of McConnell. I've been critical of McConnell many times in
- 22:07Speaker 2: my life. He's stepping down from leadership. But I also
- 22:10Speaker 2: think you got to give credit when credit's due. And
- 22:13Speaker 2: Mitch McConnell ripped Chuck Schumer on the four of the Senate.
- 22:18Speaker 2: I think it's important we play this because this is
- 22:21Speaker 2: honestly one of I think the best moments of Mitch
- 22:25Speaker 2: McConnell's time in the Senate, unequivocally saying we stand with Israel,
- 22:30Speaker 2: but also calling out the radical left who is who
- 22:33Speaker 2: is dictating now the Democratic Party masquerading his Democrats that
- 22:37Speaker 2: are extremists and and radicals that are young, forcing them
- 22:42Speaker 2: to the most extreme viewpoints.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Here is Mitch McConnell, in his own words.
- 22:48Speaker 5: Of Israel deserves an ally that acts like one. People
- 22:55Speaker 5: of Israel at home and captivity, America's support, and Israel's
- 23:04Speaker 5: unity government and security cabinet deserve the difference befitting a sovereign,
- 23:11Speaker 5: democratic country. The primary obstacles the peace in Israel's region
- 23:20Speaker 5: or genocidal terrorists by Kamas and Palestinian Islamic jihad who
- 23:29Speaker 5: slaughter innocent people, and corrupt leaders of the Palestinian authority
- 23:36Speaker 5: who have repeatedly, repeatedly rejected peace deals from multiple Israeli governments,
- 23:45Speaker 5: and foreign observers who cannot keep these clear distinctions ought
- 23:54Speaker 5: to refrain from weighing in its growth. Esk and hypocritical
- 24:04Speaker 5: for Americans who hyperventilate about foreign interference in our own
- 24:08Speaker 5: democracy to call for the removal of the democratically elected
- 24:13Speaker 5: leader of Israel. This is unprecedented. We should not treat
- 24:19Speaker 5: fellow democracies this way at all. Things that upset left
- 24:25Speaker 5: wing activists are not of Prime Minister's policies. There is
- 24:30Speaker 5: Israel's policies. Make no mistake. The Democratic Party doesn't have
- 24:37Speaker 5: an anti BV problem. It is an anti Israel problem.
- 24:44Speaker 5: Israel is not a colony of America whose leaders serve
- 24:49Speaker 5: at the pleasure of the party in power in Washington.
- 24:54Speaker 5: Only Israel's citizens should have a say and who runs
- 24:59Speaker 5: their government. This is the very definition of democracy and sovereignty.
- 25:06Speaker 2: I mean, sinner you hear him there, He's spot on,
- 25:09Speaker 2: But he also reminds the history of like you think
- 25:11Speaker 2: it's easy, you think Israel just shows up and says
- 25:14Speaker 2: to the Palaesainians who were back by Hamas, who are
- 25:16Speaker 2: back by Iran, Hey, let's have this, you know, kumbayah
- 25:20Speaker 2: moment of ceasefire here? Do we need to not remind
- 25:23Speaker 2: you of what just happened five months ago?
- 25:26Speaker 7: Well, and let me commend Mitch McConnell for those remarks,
- 25:29Speaker 7: because he didn't know Chuck Schuber was going to give
- 25:31Speaker 7: this speech. He was sitting there and just heard it,
- 25:34Speaker 7: and he got up and that was his impromptu response.
- 25:37Speaker 7: And that was eloquent. It was powerful, it was effective.
- 25:41Speaker 7: And notice what Mitch said there, which is exactly what
- 25:45Speaker 7: you and I said at the beginning of this podcast.
- 25:48Speaker 7: The Democrats don't have an anti Beb policy. They have
- 25:52Speaker 7: an anti Israel problem. And it's not just the squad.
- 26:00Speaker 7: It is supposedly mainstream Democrats. And look, this troubles me.
- 26:04Speaker 7: I have been I was elected to the Senate twelve
- 26:07Speaker 7: years ago. When I first arrived at the Senate, I
- 26:10Speaker 7: resolved on day one to be the leading defender of
- 26:13Speaker 7: Israel in the Senate. I've worked hard to do that
- 26:15Speaker 7: every day since then. It is important for the US
- 26:19Speaker 7: Israel relationship to have bipartisan cooperation. It's important that Israel
- 26:25Speaker 7: not be just a partisan issue like so many other
- 26:28Speaker 7: issues are. I have to say it is deeply saddening
- 26:33Speaker 7: and it is really dangerous that the Democrat Party today
- 26:37Speaker 7: does not resemble in any way, shape or form the
- 26:40Speaker 7: Democrat Party twelve years ago when I arrived in the Senate.
- 26:44Speaker 7: Because the party as a whole is turning day by
- 26:49Speaker 7: day steadily more and more hostile to Israel, and I
- 26:53Speaker 7: got to say it. I don't mean this as hyperbole
- 26:56Speaker 7: if you are a voter who cares about Israel, who
- 26:59Speaker 7: loves Israel. At this point, I genuinely do not know
- 27:04Speaker 7: how a voter who cares about and loves Israel could
- 27:07Speaker 7: cast a ballot for the Democrats. That that is fundamentally
- 27:11Speaker 7: inconsistent with where this Democrat party is. And I'll tell
- 27:14Speaker 7: you likewise, there are fifty one Democrats in the Senate
- 27:19Speaker 7: counting too, who call themselves independent. Every one of them
- 27:24Speaker 7: should be asked, do you support Chuck Schumer attacking the
- 27:30Speaker 7: nation of Israel and demanding that the elected leader of
- 27:34Speaker 7: Israel step down? And in my view, every Democrat in
- 27:39Speaker 7: the Senate is responsible for it. Now, no one in
- 27:41Speaker 7: the press will ask them that question, and they'll all
- 27:44Speaker 7: dodge it. But every Senate Democrat who is running for
- 27:47Speaker 7: re election in November should be forced to decide. And
- 27:52Speaker 7: the sad thing is I believe every one of them,
- 27:54Speaker 7: all of them will stand with Schumer on this. This
- 27:58Speaker 7: is where the party is, and that's really It is
- 28:02Speaker 7: a terrible development for Israel, and it's a terrible development
- 28:06Speaker 7: for America.
