- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time to y'all don't know y'all have
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit looking like the back down giving them just
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the million bucks things and the Cubs. True good it.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Steve har listening to the move together for stum, Please,
- 0:38Speaker 1: I don't join join me in doing me. Honey, you
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta turn be hurting you go. You gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. You got to turn them out. Then
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water go. Come, come on your
- 1:59Speaker 1: fad uh huh. I shall well a good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You'll listening to the voice. I come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. You know,
- 2:11Speaker 1: I think I'll explain something to y'all. You know when
- 2:14Speaker 1: I when I wake up in the morning and I say,
- 2:17Speaker 1: dig me now, what I'm asking you to do is
- 2:20Speaker 1: it's old school, you know, man, And you know you
- 2:22Speaker 1: say old people say I dig You know Dad never
- 2:26Speaker 1: stop saying it. Sorry, but dig me now. It's just
- 2:30Speaker 1: I want you to I don't you really feel me?
- 2:33Speaker 1: I don't you to understand what I'm saying, because really,
- 2:36Speaker 1: this morning inspiration is all given in the spirit of
- 2:39Speaker 1: sharing and love. It ain't about to expose me in
- 2:43Speaker 1: any way. That's not the purpose of it. But I
- 2:46Speaker 1: found that in my morning inspiration that it's best that
- 2:50Speaker 1: I use some things about myself, because I mean, what
- 2:52Speaker 1: better example can I use? Because I know me, I
- 2:55Speaker 1: know what's happened to me. I knew exactly how I
- 2:58Speaker 1: felt all along the way. Because concertaining almost everything, every
- 3:02Speaker 1: aspect of my life, I now fully do really understand
- 3:06Speaker 1: why God had my life spend the way it spun.
- 3:10Speaker 1: And here's the part that I want to give to
- 3:12Speaker 1: you this morning, that first of all, whatever position you
- 3:16Speaker 1: find yourself in today, we kind of come to one
- 3:19Speaker 1: realization that we got ourselves there. We put ourselves there
- 3:23Speaker 1: by a series of thoughts and actions. Thoughts turn into things.
- 3:30Speaker 1: That's very important to know. So let's look at both
- 3:33Speaker 1: sides of it. For people who think negative thoughts, it
- 3:39Speaker 1: turns into negative things, and the direct opposite is true.
- 3:44Speaker 1: For those who think positive thoughts, it turns into positive things.
- 3:51Speaker 1: That's the deal. It's as simple as that, folks. I
- 3:56Speaker 1: cannot break it down any cleaner and not make it
- 4:00Speaker 1: any clearer. Thoughts become things. So the one glaring question
- 4:08Speaker 1: for all of us always is, on a daily basis,
- 4:11Speaker 1: what are you thinking? What are your thoughts? What are
- 4:15Speaker 1: you thinking? What are your thoughts? Because I can assure
- 4:21Speaker 1: you and it's not by or promise of mind. This
- 4:25Speaker 1: is not a theory that Steve Harvey then came up with.
- 4:28Speaker 1: This is a fact of life. This is biblical, this
- 4:33Speaker 1: is spiritual, this is written, This is philosophical. This is
- 4:38Speaker 1: the law of the universe. However, you need to drink
- 4:41Speaker 1: this medicine to take to get it down and feel
- 4:45Speaker 1: what I'm saying to you. This is just the way
- 4:47Speaker 1: it is now and here the cold part, folks. It
- 4:51Speaker 1: don't matter if you believe me or not. It does
- 4:55Speaker 1: not matter if you have never been explained this or not.
- 5:01Speaker 1: And it does not matter if you think it works
- 5:03Speaker 1: in your life or not. It don't matter. Listen to me.
- 5:08Speaker 1: It is the way it is. It is as scriptural,
- 5:11Speaker 1: it is as spiritual, it is philosophical, it's just whatever.
- 5:16Speaker 1: It's the law of the universe. You call whatever you
- 5:18Speaker 1: want to call. However, you got to dress this thing
- 5:21Speaker 1: up to put it into phase that you can feel me.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I want you to feel me now, because this is
- 5:26Speaker 1: all it is. So when I say that you are
- 5:30Speaker 1: where we are today because we thought ourselves here or
- 5:34Speaker 1: your best to believe that's true. You thought yourself here,
- 5:38Speaker 1: no one else. See. Let me explain something. I got
- 5:41Speaker 1: people around me who so badly want to take credit
- 5:45Speaker 1: for it, but I don't allow it. But because I
- 5:50Speaker 1: keep pointing to the heavens, I keep pointing and trying
- 5:55Speaker 1: to say it out loud as many times as I
- 5:58Speaker 1: can without being so offensive, that my life is by design,
- 6:04Speaker 1: by grace and mercy, by blessings from God. My life
- 6:08Speaker 1: is because God has seen it to be so. Oh,
- 6:12Speaker 1: but I got plenty of people around me want credit
- 6:14Speaker 1: for and want you to not give credit to God
- 6:18Speaker 1: and give it to them. I got that. I got that,
- 6:21Speaker 1: but I understand that. See, I understand what that is.
- 6:24Speaker 1: That's a person whose design is to get the credit.
- 6:29Speaker 1: But it's okay. It's so clear to me what my
- 6:32Speaker 1: father was saying to me. Man, I get it. As
- 6:34Speaker 1: I get older and older, he always said to me, son,
- 6:37Speaker 1: everybody come with you can't go with you. See. You know,
- 6:43Speaker 1: I don't know how people say that in church. You know,
- 6:45Speaker 1: sometimes they go people come into your life for seasons,
- 6:48Speaker 1: and I guess the same thing. You know, they season up,
- 6:50Speaker 1: they're gone, well, you know, and then but then hither
- 6:54Speaker 1: way they try to hold you though, or you're gonna
- 6:57Speaker 1: forget where you come from. Oh, you ain't keep it
- 7:00Speaker 1: real no more. And so you find yourself trying to
- 7:04Speaker 1: not forget where you come from and keep it real
- 7:07Speaker 1: no more. But to what end is it to the
- 7:10Speaker 1: good of your end? Or is it to the good
- 7:12Speaker 1: of the end? To what end is keeping it real
- 7:16Speaker 1: and not forgetting where you come from if it does
- 7:18Speaker 1: not allow you to progress and move forward. I got
- 7:22Speaker 1: where I come from. I don't want to stay that
- 7:24Speaker 1: no more. I don't forget where I come from. I
- 7:27Speaker 1: know full well what I've been through. But that's what
- 7:30Speaker 1: drives me, because I don't want to go back to that.
- 7:33Speaker 1: That's the push for me. I don't want that no more.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I don't want to go back where I come from.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I don't want to keep it that real no more.
- 7:41Speaker 1: It was real enough for me living in the car.
- 7:44Speaker 1: I had enough of that real. I don't gonna keep
- 7:46Speaker 1: it real now. I don't keep it real. I want
- 7:48Speaker 1: to go keep it dreamy. I want to go keep
- 7:51Speaker 1: it fantasize it. I want I want to I want
- 7:53Speaker 1: to keep it out of this world. I want to
- 7:55Speaker 1: keep it off the chain. I want to keep it moving,
- 7:58Speaker 1: I want to keep it ball, and I want to
- 7:59Speaker 1: see it that's like so naw, I ain't gonna forget
- 8:02Speaker 1: where I come from, but you ain't gonna hold me
- 8:04Speaker 1: to that thought. See, thoughts become things all day long?
- 8:11Speaker 1: Where's your vision board? Where are the things that you
- 8:14Speaker 1: won't written down? What do you think about the most?
- 8:19Speaker 1: How grateful are you for what all God has done
- 8:22Speaker 1: for you? Where you at with that? See here another law?
- 8:28Speaker 1: If thoughts become things, or here come the moment, y'all,
- 8:35Speaker 1: If thoughts become things, let me ask you this. If
- 8:39Speaker 1: all you thinking about is your debt, If all you're
- 8:43Speaker 1: thinking about is what you ain't got, If all you
- 8:46Speaker 1: thinking about or is old, woe is me? If all
- 8:49Speaker 1: you thinking about is every time I turn around, I'm sick.
- 8:52Speaker 1: If all you thinking about it's the things in life
- 8:57Speaker 1: that you're lacking. If that's all you're thinking about, and
- 9:05Speaker 1: if thoughts become things, how much debt you think you're
- 9:10Speaker 1: gonna stay in? How much? How much how much lacking
- 9:14Speaker 1: you think you fin to feel your life with? How
- 9:17Speaker 1: much most stuff you find to not have because you
- 9:21Speaker 1: keep thinking about it all the time? When you're gonna
- 9:25Speaker 1: be grateful, when you're gonna say thank you, when it's
- 9:30Speaker 1: gonna come out your mouth. Man, that I may not
- 9:33Speaker 1: be where I want to be, but I sho am
- 9:35Speaker 1: grateful for what you've given me so far, for the
- 9:38Speaker 1: things I have to date, because I don't have to
- 9:41Speaker 1: have these things. You know that does? That then opens
- 9:45Speaker 1: up room for more stuff to come your way. To
- 9:48Speaker 1: be grateful fall. But if you're gonna be ungrateful, man,
- 9:52Speaker 1: let me ask you something. I ain't God, I don't
- 9:54Speaker 1: claim to be, But let me ask you something. Man,
- 9:57Speaker 1: If you're ungrateful for the things we've got, we can't
- 10:00Speaker 1: show no gratitude for what we have. Why would God
- 10:05Speaker 1: give us some most stuff to be ungrateful for? What
- 10:08Speaker 1: would he do that for? Man? I blessed you with that.
- 10:11Speaker 1: You ain't like that I gave you this. You ain't
- 10:13Speaker 1: saying nothing to me about that. You ain't feeling me
- 10:16Speaker 1: on this right here. So I'll tell you what. Man,
- 10:19Speaker 1: Let me stop giving this dude something because he just
- 10:22Speaker 1: over here he ain't glad for nothing. Because if I
- 10:24Speaker 1: give him some mold, he gonna be mad about that too, Tad.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Anybody feel me right now? So when I say come on, y'all,
- 10:33Speaker 1: dig me. Now, do you understand why I say dig me?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Because I want you to feel me. I want you
- 10:37Speaker 1: to understand and come to the understanding, not saying you ain't.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Because so many people got a deeper understanding than me
- 10:43Speaker 1: about this whole thing. I promise you they do, but
- 10:46Speaker 1: they listen to me. I'm just trying to get you
- 10:48Speaker 1: to walk up in this light, man, so you can
- 10:50Speaker 1: go on with your life and quit tripping yourself out
- 10:52Speaker 1: with your thoughts, because thoughts become things, all right. All
- 10:56Speaker 1: days you're listening show ladies and gentlemen might have you
- 11:03Speaker 1: undivided attention. Steve Harvey Morning Shows about to do what Timmy,
- 11:07Speaker 1: We're about to pop the pop pop off? Yeah, you
- 11:14Speaker 1: just left it that. You didn't do that hard that
- 11:17Speaker 1: I know. You know. I don't think I can do
- 11:19Speaker 1: that no more? Big don it hurts always? Anyway, Welcome
- 11:26Speaker 1: to the show man. Hey, carl Hey, I damn called you, Sharlotte,
- 11:35Speaker 1: Charlotte Morning. None thing? What's going on day? Y'all talk
- 11:40Speaker 1: to me? Yeah, tried to mean everything. Man. It's a
- 11:46Speaker 1: good day, yeah, man on Friday? Good day? Yeah? How
- 11:53Speaker 1: you Oh, I'm wonderful. Just gonna go to work right
- 11:56Speaker 1: after this Friday. Nothing. I don't know what all about.
- 12:02Speaker 1: But look at what you got a lot of jobs though, dog,
- 12:05Speaker 1: do you ever want to let a job go? Yep?
- 12:11Speaker 1: Right away? The nervousness is which one we better not
- 12:16Speaker 1: to be? This one? Who? I actually liked this one? Look?
- 12:24Speaker 1: Why what were you gonna do something to him? Physically?
- 12:30Speaker 1: Mentally against something to him? Yeah? He was gonna really
- 12:34Speaker 1: turn to him? What? Why? This job? For everybody? What?
- 12:42Speaker 1: This is the first job? What are we talking about?
- 12:46Speaker 1: There was the time when it was all it was
- 12:50Speaker 1: got your blessing and yeah your blessing? Amen? Well it
- 12:55Speaker 1: was what else happened? Yo? What you know? What? You what?
- 13:00Speaker 1: I'm disappointed him? Man. The Houston Rockets were about to
- 13:04Speaker 1: be the number two seeds in the playoffs, in the playoffs,
- 13:08Speaker 1: in the NBA playoffs, and now they are the number
- 13:11Speaker 1: four seeds since they lost lost to Oklahoma City. That
- 13:15Speaker 1: that just really bothered me. Now who they behind? They're
- 13:24Speaker 1: about to play Utah Jazz, That's who they're gonna play first.
- 13:27Speaker 1: But I think if once they well hopefully if they
- 13:30Speaker 1: beat the Utah Jazz, I think it's gonna be Golden
- 13:33Speaker 1: State immediately? Am I right? Junior? Because Junior know the
- 13:36Speaker 1: whole thing. They play in the fifth seed. Okay, so
- 13:41Speaker 1: so so Julie if they be, if they beat Utah,
- 13:43Speaker 1: who do they play outter that probably Golden States ain't ready,
- 13:50Speaker 1: it's too early. We'll look at it this way. You're
- 13:52Speaker 1: not a Lakers fan? Yeah, well ask me who Cleveland playing? Yes,
- 14:00Speaker 1: put this in perspective, who Cleveland? Who Lebron playing. Let
- 14:06Speaker 1: me ask you guys the question, what are your feelings
- 14:08Speaker 1: on d Wade leaving? I'm proud of d Wade, man,
- 14:11Speaker 1: I'm proud too. I mean, I know he retired, but
- 14:14Speaker 1: I'm just saying, I know, Steve, you really liked his game.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I love his game. Man. He's a he's a great player,
- 14:21Speaker 1: a great person, and I just think that he's he's
- 14:24Speaker 1: one of the great ones. He's getting out while he's
- 14:27Speaker 1: kids steal ball. All right, coming up at thirty two
- 14:31Speaker 1: after the hour, Season eight people, Season eight of Game

- 14:47Speaker 1: All right, let's mere Shirley here and you guys know
- 14:49Speaker 1: how harsh bleaching can be on your hair. I don't
- 14:52Speaker 1: know if you've ever tried it. You've tried it, Carla, right,
- 14:54Speaker 1: and since I'm blind now blind you no, no, no,
- 14:58Speaker 1: you real blond? Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, it's called bleaching, Tommy,
- 15:02Speaker 1: it's called bleaching. I use Gold Series from Pantine Baby
- 15:06Speaker 1: as the gold standard in moisture. It is infused with
- 15:10Speaker 1: rich argone oil. It leaves my hair healthy, strong and
- 15:13Speaker 1: moisturized because yeah, argone oil. Because you know when you bleach,
- 15:17Speaker 1: it's harsh on the hair, but it really is. Thank you, yeah,
- 15:20Speaker 1: thank you. Gold series from Pantine. Gold Series products penetrate
- 15:25Speaker 1: each hair strand because it is created by experts that

- 15:36Speaker 1: one thing and it's the magic of gold. Okay. Gold
- 15:39Speaker 1: series from Pantine works better because it's made better. All right,
- 15:44Speaker 1: thank you, Gold series from Pantine from my platinum hair.

- 15:50Speaker 1: highlight you about this. You know that, don't you? What? Man? Girl,
- 15:57Speaker 1: I just didn't know what you were talking about. All right, Steve,
- 16:00Speaker 1: let's talk about something everybody knows about. Uh, that is
- 16:04Speaker 1: a game of Thrones. Okay. Winter winters can really last
- 16:08Speaker 1: a long time. Summers span decades too. The struggle for
- 16:12Speaker 1: the Iron throne begins this Sunday. Same. Yeah, I ain't
- 16:17Speaker 1: gonna be able to watch it this Sunday. I gotta
- 16:19Speaker 1: wait till all of them over. Now, are you full
- 16:23Speaker 1: seasons behind? That's why I was just asking, are you
- 16:26Speaker 1: all called? I'm actually caught up, sir. Okay, you've watched it.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I just being watched the wall go down. Yeah. I
- 16:35Speaker 1: saw the dragon get up over there because the Whitewater
- 16:37Speaker 1: got their damn dragons, dragons, damn wall down. Everybody got
- 16:45Speaker 1: get about here the damn dragon. Now the White Waters coming, Neil,
- 16:49Speaker 1: and I'll tell you what's gonna happen after y'all talk. Yeah,
- 16:53Speaker 1: I can't wait to see John's No. Just let's get
- 16:56Speaker 1: some theme music. Yeah, okay, come on, come on, and
- 17:00Speaker 1: your your favorite character, Steve. I know it's carry hunt.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Shut up, shut up? What you know it's on the way.
- 17:16Speaker 1: That's when you know it's coming. Okay, So Steve, come
- 17:21Speaker 1: on with your predictions, right hold on, let me get
- 17:24Speaker 1: my breath. He gonna tell you. It's about to happen,
- 17:33Speaker 1: all right. When we laugh left, okay, come on, Steve,
- 17:37Speaker 1: when we laugh left. Whitewalker okay, went out to the
- 17:41Speaker 1: lake and pull it dead, dragging out they did, ye,
- 17:46Speaker 1: pull him out and gave him blue eyes. Now he did,
- 17:50Speaker 1: but he on eighteen. Now, so the head white Walker
- 17:56Speaker 1: I call him Skelly Lly, got up on his back
- 17:59Speaker 1: and his ass over there to the wall white Walkers
- 18:03Speaker 1: and trying to get in that wall for the beginning
- 18:05Speaker 1: of time. That's right. They had that damn five breathing dragon,
- 18:10Speaker 1: blowing blue fire, running that damn wall down. White folk
- 18:16Speaker 1: running there and there I don't and who you is,
- 18:20Speaker 1: black white Latino? Your ass scared of fire? Yeah, So
- 18:25Speaker 1: they got out, and so now they're heading out. And
- 18:28Speaker 1: now they got to go and get John Snowneil and
- 18:31Speaker 1: round of all the different clans because now they got
- 18:33Speaker 1: to come together because they all got to go to
- 18:35Speaker 1: walk against the white Walker. So now while the whitewalkers
- 18:39Speaker 1: is coming called, they slow in hell. You know they're dead, yeah,
- 18:42Speaker 1: you know, those done trock they're rocking. So they take
- 18:47Speaker 1: a long time. So they own horses and stuff running
- 18:50Speaker 1: here to come here to come, oh Lord, here to come,
- 18:53Speaker 1: and a lot of people you know. And but the
- 18:56Speaker 1: white walker walking, Yeah, you're calling white walker because take
- 18:59Speaker 1: a long time. Always looked like they're walking this white
- 19:01Speaker 1: snowy white runners, the white white white short. So they
- 19:06Speaker 1: don't get back. They gotta get everything together. Somebody gotta
- 19:10Speaker 1: go tell that white girl Kalisa it all Haler broke up.
- 19:14Speaker 1: One of her dragons is down. But he coming back
- 19:17Speaker 1: with blue eyes because they're gonna have some witnesses from
- 19:20Speaker 1: the wall. They're gonna tell her the dragon his hat
- 19:23Speaker 1: with the blue eyes, I dash shay, the dragon his hell.
- 19:27Speaker 1: And it's they call a white locker that John Snow
- 19:31Speaker 1: that fold the season go out. Y'all need to know
- 19:33Speaker 1: that John Snow gonna get killed. Yeah, he coming back.
- 19:37Speaker 1: Everybody gonna die in this hill. Well see this is
- 19:40Speaker 1: a very last season of gonna kill everybody because you
- 19:43Speaker 1: can't say they living called where you don't want Hello, Hello,
- 19:49Speaker 1: I don't want John Snow an got to go. He
- 19:52Speaker 1: hadn't been going already. You didn't want him go on
- 19:54Speaker 1: the first time, so he bought him back. They can't
- 19:55Speaker 1: do it twite, right, they can't. So they're gonna take
- 19:59Speaker 1: John Snow out, John Snow on trip. Now, John Snow,
- 20:01Speaker 1: you know that white girl he liked that was wintering? Yeah,
- 20:07Speaker 1: wold yeah, wining. So they always got on first coach,
- 20:14Speaker 1: so I don't call him wildings, I call him withintering.
- 20:16Speaker 1: They always win. And Steve, he married her in real life.
- 20:20Speaker 1: That's his wife in real life. Yeah, he married her
- 20:23Speaker 1: in real life. He did. Yeah, that's his wife. Yeah,
- 20:26Speaker 1: that's his wife real for real. They married man in
- 20:30Speaker 1: real life in real life? Is she married the hell
- 20:37Speaker 1: in the snow? They rolled plans gonna be off the change, Yeah,
- 20:43Speaker 1: because she didn't try to kill him three turns. You
- 20:46Speaker 1: don't know anything, John Snow. She said, I ain't man,
- 20:50Speaker 1: nobody tried to kill me. A no damn movie. Yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 1: So anyway, it's gonna be a whole lot of that. Oh,
- 20:58Speaker 1: they're gonna have to get together with a couple more
- 21:01Speaker 1: tribes that they wasn't trusted. So they all admit they
- 21:05Speaker 1: all gonna had to get together. Okay, because about to
- 21:07Speaker 1: get funking, and we got team up against white walkers.
- 21:11Speaker 1: They're gonna kill all the white walkers. But right for us,
- 21:15Speaker 1: over with the lady, the white lady with the dragons. Yeah,
- 21:19Speaker 1: gonna convince the blue eyed dragon that that the blue
- 21:23Speaker 1: eyed dragon love for hus greater than being a white walker.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Drag around that blue founder, white walking, kill all them

- 21:57Speaker 1: at the top of the hour and entertain him at news. Wow,
- 22:01Speaker 1: Wendy Williams filed for divorce. Yeah, how are you doing?
- 22:09Speaker 1: Actress Laurie Laughlin m thought the prosecutors were bluffing about
- 22:13Speaker 1: jail time. Girl. This is not a game, this course,
- 22:19Speaker 1: yeah it is. This is real life, all right, all
- 22:21Speaker 1: right now, the nephew is here, would run that brank back?
- 22:23Speaker 1: What you got, nap, go big goal? I gotta doing,
- 22:30Speaker 1: go big running? Kay? Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Darnel. Darnell,
- 22:41Speaker 1: see this, Darnell. How you doing? This is Scott with bigger,
- 22:45Speaker 1: bigger and better, where we make you larger in charge
- 22:48Speaker 1: how you doing today? Scott? Who? I'm Scott and I'm
- 22:52Speaker 1: with Bigger and Better where we make you large and
- 22:55Speaker 1: in charge. I'm good Scott. Look what's up? We were actually,
- 23:00Speaker 1: uh given a phone call by your wife? Your wife?
- 23:03Speaker 1: Is that correct? Yeah? Okay? Well, um, you know your
- 23:08Speaker 1: wife's um, your wife's birthday is coming up pretty soon?
- 23:11Speaker 1: Is that right? Yeah? Yeah, so a couple of weeks. Yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 1: it's coming up. Okay. Have you have you decided on
- 23:17Speaker 1: getting or anything or have you purchased anything yet? No? No,
- 23:21Speaker 1: I got a couple of days in mind. Um. Well, actually, uh,
- 23:25Speaker 1: we got a call from from I think we've got
- 23:29Speaker 1: something that's gonna that's gonna really help you guys. And
- 23:33Speaker 1: and something I think that she wanted to recommend that
- 23:36Speaker 1: something that you probably wouldn't wouldn't think about getting all
- 23:41Speaker 1: is okay? And racking my brain? So I'm actually gave
- 23:45Speaker 1: us a call. She's actually had an idea, you know
- 23:48Speaker 1: what she would really really like for her birthday present?
- 23:51Speaker 1: So what's her name? You're company? Bigger and Better? Um,
- 23:55Speaker 1: like I said, she called you. I'm sorry she called

- 24:01Speaker 1: get her for her birthday? Uh, yeah, well this is
- 24:04Speaker 1: this is something that's a little a little different, and
- 24:07Speaker 1: it's something that you probably would never in a million
- 24:09Speaker 1: years think of. But here at Bigger and Better, where
- 24:12Speaker 1: we make you large and in charge, we actually do
- 24:15Speaker 1: some things that we definitely know you wouldn't have thought of.
- 24:18Speaker 1: So I definitely understand her giving, um, what's your name
- 24:22Speaker 1: against Sam Scott, Scott Scott, get to the point what
- 24:26Speaker 1: you're selling. Actually let us know that there's some things
- 24:30Speaker 1: that are really really lacking between you guys, and she
- 24:35Speaker 1: would very much like for her birthday where you can
- 24:38Speaker 1: be a lot more well endowed. So you know, that's
- 24:41Speaker 1: what we do here at Bigger and Beat, We actually hello,
- 24:45Speaker 1: what I could be more more well? In doubt? Sure,
- 24:48Speaker 1: So I think really what's going on is beyonc is

- 24:58Speaker 1: So you're you're, you're, you're, you're you're inadequate. You know
- 25:01Speaker 1: what I mean? You're you're Uh, I guess maybe maybe
- 25:05Speaker 1: very impotent. I'm not sure, but are you kidding me?

- 30:09Speaker 1: listening to show coming up at twenty after the hour,
- 30:15Speaker 1: we're going to talk about celebrities, family members, friends, fans.
- 30:19Speaker 1: They all paid their final respects to Nipsey Hustle at
- 30:22Speaker 1: a celebration of life memorial service yesterday at the Staples Center.
- 30:26Speaker 1: But first in today's entertainment news, Wendy Williams has filed
- 30:30Speaker 1: for divorce from her husband, Kevin Hunter. Yeah. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:35Speaker 1: a lot of people were wondering if she was ever
- 30:37Speaker 1: going to do it, and here it is. The split
- 30:40Speaker 1: comes after nearly twenty two years of marriage and most
- 30:43Speaker 1: recently Kevin's alleged mistress, Sharena Hudson having a baby. Wendy's
- 30:49Speaker 1: been going through a rough patch. She's been going through
- 30:51Speaker 1: a lot lately, living at a sober house and getting
- 30:54Speaker 1: round the clock help to deal with addiction issues. Wendy
- 30:57Speaker 1: and Kevin, who's also been her manager, you're for quite
- 31:01Speaker 1: a while, have been married for more than twenty years,
- 31:04Speaker 1: as I mentioned, twenty two. They have one son together. Wow.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Who they be married twenty do you? Yeah? No? No,
- 31:11Speaker 1: Wendy been married not clarity, Clarity, who've been married? In him? No,
- 31:20Speaker 1: Wendy's been married? Wow. Yeah. If this was another celebrity,
- 31:26Speaker 1: she would be talking about it big time, right about it.
- 31:33Speaker 1: She would be. That's that's what she does. And I
- 31:36Speaker 1: also warned on TMZ, Shirley, did you hear this that
- 31:39Speaker 1: the papers were served to Kevin on the set of
- 31:41Speaker 1: the show? Oh? No, I didn't, because he's manager. He
- 31:44Speaker 1: was a producer EP. Yeah, he's an EP manager. And
- 31:51Speaker 1: they said they had extra security there just in case,
- 31:54Speaker 1: you know, he was upset or you know, who are
- 31:58Speaker 1: you gonna trip with? Huh? I don't. But but let
- 32:01Speaker 1: me just say this, it's hard. It's easier. It's hard
- 32:04Speaker 1: to talk about yourself. It's way easier. I'm sure to
- 32:07Speaker 1: talk about other people's problems, but to talk about Lord,
- 32:12Speaker 1: I don't wish that on anyone. We're here the best
- 32:14Speaker 1: hope she comes out on the other side a better
- 32:17Speaker 1: person and actress Lori Laughlin didn't anticipate getting jail time
- 32:22Speaker 1: in the college admission scandal. Excuse me. Yeah, Now that
- 32:29Speaker 1: she and her husband Massimo are facing up to forty
- 32:32Speaker 1: years behind bars, she's freaking out. She's also kicking herself
- 32:36Speaker 1: for not taking the deal that Felicity Huffman took. Turns
- 32:40Speaker 1: out that, yeah, Laurie Laughlin thought prosecutors were bluffing the
- 32:46Speaker 1: whole jail time thing. Who was the plea deal that
- 32:49Speaker 1: other ladyship four to ten months? Something like that? Four
- 32:52Speaker 1: to ten months? Yeah, I don't think they get in
- 32:54Speaker 1: a sentencing Parma. But she did plead guilty. We do
- 32:57Speaker 1: know that. Yeah, But have y'all not looked at y'all
- 33:01Speaker 1: keys and realize what they're not gonna be? Have y'all
- 33:04Speaker 1: not realized? Am I the only one? Have you not
- 33:07Speaker 1: looked at your kids? And do you not fens to
- 33:09Speaker 1: be president? I got a couple of that I know
- 33:12Speaker 1: ain't gonna be president. You ain't been to be a
- 33:15Speaker 1: doctor or lawyer? I see that. So I'm not gonna
- 33:19Speaker 1: spend a half a million on you for something I
- 33:21Speaker 1: know you're not fensed to be. Why would I do that?
- 33:26Speaker 1: Why would I do Why would I? Why would I
- 33:28Speaker 1: invest in that? You're not fensed to be that? You're
- 33:31Speaker 1: just keeping it real If you're not, you ain't your doctor,
- 33:35Speaker 1: white doctor, stupid? You ain't fensed to be nothing other
- 33:40Speaker 1: than that? Wow? Wow, Well, anyway, she's seeing the light now,
- 33:46Speaker 1: Thank god, she's taking it seriously now forty forty years
- 33:50Speaker 1: and uh, she and her legal team are looking at
- 33:52Speaker 1: things quite differently. Now, Steve, what does she think though?
- 33:56Speaker 1: I guess that you know, if what you if if
- 34:00Speaker 1: you up with some charges and the crime could hold
- 34:07Speaker 1: up to forty years, at what point do you start
- 34:10Speaker 1: thinking foe of them would be well yeah, yeah fo
- 34:17Speaker 1: days don't. But if you've been getting by and paying
- 34:20Speaker 1: for things and being rich and living this fabulous life,
- 34:23Speaker 1: I mean that's her world. So Dame, all right, we
- 34:29Speaker 1: gotta get to uh, why why I can't be rich
- 34:33Speaker 1: with your dumb ass Keith? Why can't we got ladies
- 34:36Speaker 1: and gentlemen, miss and trip. Thank you very much everybody.
- 34:40Speaker 1: This is a trip with the news. President Trump held
- 34:43Speaker 1: talks at the White House yesterday with South Korea's president,
- 34:46Speaker 1: and after their discussions, both of you are stressed the
- 34:48Speaker 1: need for diplomacy, especially where it concerns getting nuclear talks
- 34:51Speaker 1: back on track between the US and North Korea. However,
- 34:55Speaker 1: the President made it clear that any renewed discussions on
- 34:58Speaker 1: the North nuclear arsenal would not involve lessening of any sanctions.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Want sanctions to remain in place, and frankly, I had
- 35:05Speaker 1: the option of significantly increasing them. I didn't want to
- 35:08Speaker 1: do that because of my relationship with Kim Jong un.
- 35:11Speaker 1: I did not want to do that. I didn't think
- 35:13Speaker 1: it was necessary, as you know, a couple of weeks ago,
- 35:15Speaker 1: I held it back. Trump added the quote, good things
- 35:18Speaker 1: came out of February's talks with North Korea's leader Kim John.
- 35:21Speaker 1: I guess we'll have to see that. By the way,
- 35:23Speaker 1: it looks like the Trump administration is still bent on
- 35:25Speaker 1: training the eyes of the nation on out of space.
- 35:29Speaker 1: From you, I guess not. This president wants to establish
- 35:32Speaker 1: a sixth branch of the military that he wants to
- 35:35Speaker 1: call Space Force, and his job would be to protect
- 35:38Speaker 1: us interest from above real life, your emission to explore strength.
- 35:46Speaker 1: That was Acting Secretary of Defense. I was trying to
- 35:48Speaker 1: get him, Patrick Shanahan, he was testifying before the sent
- 35:50Speaker 1: He want to hear what he said. Every member of
- 35:52Speaker 1: this committee has access to the classified threat picture. But
- 35:55Speaker 1: the bottom line is the next major conflict maybe one
- 35:59Speaker 1: or lost in space. That's what he says. That was
- 36:01Speaker 1: Acting Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan testifying before the Senate
- 36:04Speaker 1: Armed Services Committee about a sixth branch of the military
- 36:08Speaker 1: that the president wants to call Space Force. The City
- 36:12Speaker 1: of Chicago suiting actor Jesse Smallest. Shytown lawyers followed the
- 36:15Speaker 1: civil suit against the TV stars, seeking to recoup the
- 36:17Speaker 1: money spent on the investigation into his claim that he
- 36:20Speaker 1: was taunted an assaulted by two men because he's both
- 36:23Speaker 1: black and gay and attacked that the Chicago Police insists
- 36:26Speaker 1: never happened. Charges would drop, but he does have to
- 36:29Speaker 1: do some community service and he did have to forfeit
- 36:32Speaker 1: his bail. The US State departments come out with a
- 36:34Speaker 1: new list of thirty five countries Americans are being warned
- 36:36Speaker 1: to stay away from. They're the usual suspects like Iran, Iraq,
- 36:40Speaker 1: and Libya, but Trindad and Tobago was on that list. Finally,
- 36:43Speaker 1: some twenty one thousand people in Los Angeles Staples Center,
- 36:46Speaker 1: along with tens of thousands of others all over social media,
- 36:48Speaker 1: said goodbye yesterday the rapper, businessman, community activist Nipsey Hustle,
- 36:52Speaker 1: including his fiance his Lady Love actress Lauren London, who
- 36:56Speaker 1: expressed both the heartfelt grief and gratefulness that she felt
- 37:00Speaker 1: love him my life. You know what it is. I'm
- 37:03Speaker 1: so grateful that I had you. I love you beyond
- 37:06Speaker 1: this earth and until we meet again. The marathon continues.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Back to Steve Harvey Morning Show You're listening to show
- 37:15Speaker 1: Fansville Staples Center on Thursday morning to pay their final
- 37:19Speaker 1: respects to Nipsey Hustle. The underlying message of Nipseys celebration
- 37:23Speaker 1: of life was that the marathon continues. That was also
- 37:26Speaker 1: the name of his clothing store. Of family and friends
- 37:29Speaker 1: took the stage to share memories of him. Nipsey's girlfriend
- 37:34Speaker 1: Lauren London spoke during the family tribute's portion, as did
- 37:37Speaker 1: Nipsey's mother. His brother Sam also Snoop Dogg, and Minister
- 37:41Speaker 1: Lewis Farcon spoke. Among the twenty one in attendance were
- 37:46Speaker 1: Nip's famous friends like Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper, Cassie
- 37:49Speaker 1: master P and Romeo and President Obama sent a heartfelt
- 37:53Speaker 1: letter and Stevie Wonder spoke and he spoke about gun control.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Take a listen, stronger guns. It's unacceptable. It's almost like
- 38:04Speaker 1: the world is becoming blind. I pray that we will grow.
- 38:07Speaker 1: I pray that the leaders who have a responsibility to
- 38:11Speaker 1: perpetuate life, we'll do it by making sure that the
- 38:15Speaker 1: laws will make it so very hard for people to
- 38:19Speaker 1: have guns and to take their frustrations out to kill life.
- 38:25Speaker 1: I'm very happy that in his short life he was
- 38:28Speaker 1: able to motivate people, and I hope that it motivates
- 38:32Speaker 1: you enough to say, listen, enough of people being killed
- 38:37Speaker 1: by guns and violence. I hope that we don't just
- 38:40Speaker 1: talk about it, but we be about it to make
- 38:43Speaker 1: a difference for our future. Wow. Powerful and so true.
- 38:49Speaker 1: You know, Look, look, man, to get the gun laws
- 38:58Speaker 1: in place, we're going to have to change so many things.
- 39:05Speaker 1: The number one thing is the NIA cannot be one
- 39:12Speaker 1: of the number one contributors to the Republican Party. You
- 39:17Speaker 1: don't understand that they are one of the top contributors,
- 39:23Speaker 1: if not the top contributor to the Republican Party. They
- 39:28Speaker 1: back Republican candidates. If you come out and speak against
- 39:33Speaker 1: the right to carry in arms in this country, they
- 39:36Speaker 1: pull the money from you. Not only do they pull
- 39:39Speaker 1: it from you, they put it behind your opponent. And
- 39:43Speaker 1: these people are not willing to give up their power,
- 39:46Speaker 1: position or money to save nobody like that. Right. There
- 39:53Speaker 1: is the ugly, ugly truth of this country. Because we're not,
- 39:58Speaker 1: by any stretch of imagination, largest country in the world,
- 40:02Speaker 1: but we have the most gun violence depths of any
- 40:05Speaker 1: of them, and we have the most inmates of any
- 40:08Speaker 1: of them. And we're making mistakes, man, we are making mistakes. Yeah.
- 40:14Speaker 1: Here were the number one drug using country. Yeah, I
- 40:17Speaker 1: don't know, nobody use more drugs than us. Yeah, all right,
- 40:22Speaker 1: Coming up at thirty four after the hours Steve Lauren
- 40:24Speaker 1: London's beautiful speech about the love of her life. We'll
- 40:28Speaker 1: listen to that when we come back right after this.
- 40:31Speaker 1: You're listening to Lauren London, Nipsey Hustle's love and mother
- 40:38Speaker 1: of his children, of his child gave a beautiful speech
- 40:41Speaker 1: about the love of her life Nipsey Hustle at a
- 40:44Speaker 1: celebration of life memorial service. Um, it was a beautiful service.
- 40:49Speaker 1: His brother Sam spoke very eloquently. I loved what he
- 40:54Speaker 1: said about his little brother Snoop dog. I mean, so
- 40:58Speaker 1: many wonderful speakers. Know Sureley, I'll say this, I've never
- 41:02Speaker 1: lost you know, my wife, my lover, and she lost
- 41:10Speaker 1: her man hellover, you got to be an incredibly strong
- 41:13Speaker 1: person to talk at that funeral. Yes, lord, this is
- 41:17Speaker 1: what Lauren London said. Take a listen. You've given me
- 41:20Speaker 1: the opportunity to really love a man. You've been with
- 41:24Speaker 1: me while I've been sick. Through all my fears, you
- 41:28Speaker 1: have encouraged me and inspired me to reach higher. I've
- 41:32Speaker 1: learned so much about myself with you. You've been my
- 41:36Speaker 1: turn up and my church. I wouldn't want to go
- 41:40Speaker 1: through this journey with anyone but you. I look up
- 41:44Speaker 1: to you in a lot of ways, and I'll strive
- 41:45Speaker 1: to educate myself more like you have. And when we
- 41:49Speaker 1: are at odds, I feel defeated and sad knowing that
- 41:53Speaker 1: we are so much better than that. I just want
- 41:56Speaker 1: you to know that you've been You've been the greatest
- 41:58Speaker 1: boyfriend to me. You weren't perfect, but I would never
- 42:02Speaker 1: ask you to be. You and I work, we fit,
- 42:07Speaker 1: and you're the coolest guy in the world to me. Still,
- 42:11Speaker 1: I love you so much, unconditionally. My truth is this,
- 42:15Speaker 1: I'm never gonna give up on you. My love and
- 42:18Speaker 1: my devotion is to you. And I sent that January
- 42:22Speaker 1: twenty first, twenty nineteen. I had to write something because
- 42:39Speaker 1: I've never felt this type of pain before. But I
- 42:43Speaker 1: know that God is alive. But bear with me. All
- 42:51Speaker 1: his soul was majestic. He was the strongest man that
- 42:55Speaker 1: I ever knew, a gentle father, a patient leader, a
- 43:00Speaker 1: divine light. He was brilliant. He researched everything, completely self taught,
- 43:07Speaker 1: constantly seeking knowledge. He would he would go to bed
- 43:11Speaker 1: and listen to these audio books and his headphones, and
- 43:15Speaker 1: I would tease him, but that really is what I
- 43:18Speaker 1: thought was the coolest ever about him. And he would
- 43:21Speaker 1: wake up in the morning and play music for the
- 43:23Speaker 1: kids and light a sage and burn it around the
- 43:27Speaker 1: house and just make sure that our energy going outside
- 43:31Speaker 1: would be uplifted and that we could handle the day.
- 43:37Speaker 1: You know, my pain is for my two year old
- 43:41Speaker 1: that probably won't remember how much his dad loved him. Um,
- 43:49Speaker 1: this is something that you know, I never I don't
- 43:53Speaker 1: really understand, but I know that aramis always used sets
- 43:55Speaker 1: people that you experienced them, and I'm so honored and
- 44:01Speaker 1: blessed that I got to experience such a man. I
- 44:06Speaker 1: know everyone is hurting, but I'd like to say something
- 44:10Speaker 1: to my city, Los Angeles. Y'all from our LA stand up,
- 44:20Speaker 1: because this pain is really ours. You know, we know
- 44:25Speaker 1: what it meant to us. We lost an incredible soul.
- 44:30Speaker 1: We lost someone very rare to us, and we lost
- 44:33Speaker 1: a real one and we won't ever be the same
- 44:37Speaker 1: but in Hustle's words, because he used to always say this,
- 44:41Speaker 1: the game is gonna test you. Never fold, stay tin
- 44:45Speaker 1: toes down. It's not on you. It's in you. And
- 44:48Speaker 1: what's in you they can't take away. And he's in
- 44:51Speaker 1: all of us. It's an Airmy is the love of
- 45:03Speaker 1: my life. You know what it is. Grief is the
- 45:07Speaker 1: final act of love. My heart hears you. I feel
- 45:11Speaker 1: you everywhere. I'm so grateful that I had you. I
- 45:15Speaker 1: love you beyond this earth and until we meet again.
- 45:20Speaker 1: The marathon continued. You're listening, all right, guys. Coming up
- 45:31Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes after,
- 45:33Speaker 1: it's my Strawberry letter for today, the subject What's wrong
- 45:37Speaker 1: with her? Chipping in? But right now the nephew is
- 45:40Speaker 1: here with today's frank phone call. What you got? Neff?
- 45:44Speaker 1: You know what I ain't gonna I ain't gonna like
- 45:46Speaker 1: really make this all that. I ain't gonna do that.
- 45:49Speaker 1: I'm just gonna say it like this, this my dad's favorite.
- 45:52Speaker 1: Oh can I have your kid? Man? That's all I'm
- 45:58Speaker 1: gonna say that. You know what I'm saying. I ain't
- 46:00Speaker 1: don't go into detail, just can I have your kidding? Hello. Hello,
- 46:09Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a brother, Conny. This is kind
- 46:12Speaker 1: of how you're doing. Brother. This is Deacon Patterson called

- 46:23Speaker 1: And you know the churches behind you on what you're
- 46:25Speaker 1: going through. When we were praying for you, man, we
- 46:27Speaker 1: know all about the you know you're going in the
- 46:29Speaker 1: surgeon on Friday to get your get your prancers removed.
- 46:33Speaker 1: So I wanted to give you a call, man, have
- 46:35Speaker 1: a word of prayer and let you know that we
- 46:37Speaker 1: all are pulling for you, and we know that that
- 46:40Speaker 1: the man upstairs are gonna pull you through this successful. Well.
- 46:43Speaker 1: God blessing keep you, uh that, deacon, God blessing keep
- 46:47Speaker 1: you because I tell you I'm going through something here.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Me and my wife, we've been talking about it and
- 46:51Speaker 1: we've been praying on it and it she was a
- 46:53Speaker 1: wonderful thing to know that your church is with you
- 46:55Speaker 1: and and y'all thinking about me and prayer. I've really
- 46:59Speaker 1: had to take this, this to the Lord. This is
- 47:01Speaker 1: a serious thing with me and I ain't never had
- 47:04Speaker 1: an operation before in my life, and a right. I
- 47:06Speaker 1: know I needed my wife and made it clear. The
- 47:09Speaker 1: doctor made it clear that I believe I'm ready to
- 47:11Speaker 1: go forward because it was that Deacon Patterson. Yes, yes,
- 47:14Speaker 1: that's right, Dicon Proteron. I haven't I haven't been. I've
- 47:16Speaker 1: been in the church probably about probably about eight months now.
- 47:19Speaker 1: You've pretty much been out most of the time. Yes,
- 47:22Speaker 1: I have been out of you. Yeah. Yeah, so I've
- 47:25Speaker 1: seen you a couple of times. But I wanted to
- 47:27Speaker 1: call and and and and put a word in for
- 47:30Speaker 1: you and let him and you know, let you know
- 47:31Speaker 1: that we're all praying for you to church. He's the Lord.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Can't you get back? And and we know out for Friday.
- 47:36Speaker 1: It's gonna definitely be a great success. Yes, and we're
- 47:39Speaker 1: gonna give the victory to who the victory. Yes, he's
- 47:43Speaker 1: the victory. Yet, let me let me have a word

- 47:50Speaker 1: right now, We asked right now that you touch brother
- 47:53Speaker 1: Connelly as he goes in on Friday, please put your
- 47:56Speaker 1: hands on him. We ask Father that you hold on
- 48:00Speaker 1: to the doctor that's getting ready to go and lay
- 48:02Speaker 1: to put surgery on. Yes, we asked that you make
- 48:05Speaker 1: sure that the doctor it's got a strong eye on
- 48:09Speaker 1: that morning walk with him. We asked that that that

- 48:15Speaker 1: in his hand. We asked that you hold own to
- 48:18Speaker 1: him please as it goes into a surgeon, because we
- 48:21Speaker 1: know comes side the mor the victory gonna belong to
- 48:25Speaker 1: brother Connley and the Lord. Lord. We know all of this.
- 48:28Speaker 1: But we we asked that you take that pincress and
- 48:30Speaker 1: you remove it out successfuly, close him back up like
- 48:34Speaker 1: it will never been into the end before walk with Nick.
- 48:37Speaker 1: That's what we're asking, we ask your Lord. At the
- 48:39Speaker 1: same time that they're removing this pincreus. Lord, we asked
- 48:43Speaker 1: that your reach around his backside and we asked that
- 48:47Speaker 1: you touch his kidney. Lord, touch his kidney and make

- 49:20Speaker 1: ain't working on nothing but my pancres, sir, right right right,
- 49:24Speaker 1: Let me let me say I'm glad you brought it
- 49:25Speaker 1: up with this. This this when we want to call you.

- 49:36Speaker 1: hate to come at you in the final out and
- 49:38Speaker 1: you're getting ready to go out, sir and all that,
- 49:40Speaker 1: But if you don't mind it when they go in
- 49:42Speaker 1: on Friday morning and remove that pancres out, do you
- 49:46Speaker 1: think that they could go in and get one of
- 49:49Speaker 1: your kidneys? Because I need one? Hold hold on, just
- 49:53Speaker 1: met deacon up? What did you say? What you say?
- 49:57Speaker 1: See see see what else? I've been going through myself

- 50:03Speaker 1: if I need a kidney, and I'm wondering if you
- 50:05Speaker 1: can give me one of yours when they go in
- 50:07Speaker 1: and get your pankers. They're going already to have you open.
- 50:09Speaker 1: Did you say you wanted him to take one of

- 50:36Speaker 1: Brother Connin What harm is it if you already open

- 50:44Speaker 1: you're crazy. It's hell. Now what I'm gonna have to do.

- 50:49Speaker 1: going on here. You say you knew you managed to
- 50:53Speaker 1: mister man, you too do to know who you're talking to.
- 50:56Speaker 1: What what I'm saying is you have took two Look
- 50:59Speaker 1: like you as you say they did the Mr. You
- 51:01Speaker 1: don't give up what I said they did? Man, I
- 51:04Speaker 1: got two kidneys. You got to one of yours bad.
- 51:06Speaker 1: That's your problem, mister. Let me tell you something. I'm

- 52:04Speaker 1: a thing to do with Jesus. You can kiss my
- 52:07Speaker 1: and get off my phone. That's what you can do.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Can I say one more thing to you? What is
- 52:12Speaker 1: you listening to me? Man? And don't listen to you

- 55:00Speaker 1: was kind of prank callish. All right, here we go.
- 55:03Speaker 1: What's wrong with her chipping in? Is the subject? What's
- 55:06Speaker 1: wrong with her chipping in? Here's Stephen Shirley. I'm a
- 55:10Speaker 1: hard working man. I worked from sun up to sundown,
- 55:14Speaker 1: and I do well for myself. Two years ago, I
- 55:18Speaker 1: met a very beautiful woman who I can see myself
- 55:21Speaker 1: being with for the rest of my life. About a
- 55:24Speaker 1: year into the relationship, we moved in together and started
- 55:28Speaker 1: planning for the future. I was recently laid off from
- 55:31Speaker 1: my job and I had to find a new one.
- 55:34Speaker 1: She was not working at the time. Money was getting tight,
- 55:38Speaker 1: so I took a pay cut. I asked my girlfriend
- 55:41Speaker 1: if she could get a part time job just to
- 55:43Speaker 1: help out with expenses. She said, you know you are
- 55:48Speaker 1: the man, therefore you're the one that's supposed to provide.
- 55:51Speaker 1: I wanted to do fifty fifty, but she says no roommate.
- 55:56Speaker 1: So I did the worst thing and would says she's yeah, oh,
- 56:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry, right. I didn't think that sounded right. I
- 56:02Speaker 1: wanted to do fifty fifty, but she says she's no roommates.
- 56:06Speaker 1: So I did the worst thing and went to Facebook
- 56:08Speaker 1: for advice. It backfired and I got called a little boy.
- 56:13Speaker 1: There are a lot of single women who feel this way.
- 56:16Speaker 1: I thought relationships or marriages were partnerships. I don't make
- 56:20Speaker 1: six figures, surely, and I'm not going to be this
- 56:23Speaker 1: girl's father. Please help. Okay, Okay, if you don't make
- 56:29Speaker 1: six figures, that's okay. It's whatever works for you, guys,
- 56:33Speaker 1: in your relationship. And clearly this is not working because
- 56:37Speaker 1: you're the only one working. You are working, though you
- 56:40Speaker 1: may not make as much as you used to make.
- 56:42Speaker 1: You said you took a pay cut, but she's not
- 56:44Speaker 1: working at all. Now, you guys have to develop set
- 56:48Speaker 1: up some ground rules, some boundaries here. Now she's not
- 56:53Speaker 1: gonna work at all? Is she able to work? Is
- 56:56Speaker 1: she capable of working? I mean, I get the whole.
- 57:00Speaker 1: You know, you're the man, you're the provider type thing
- 57:03Speaker 1: in a marriage. I mean that that's biblical. But does
- 57:09Speaker 1: she expect you just to take care of her? She's
- 57:12Speaker 1: not going to work at all? What does you mean,
- 57:15Speaker 1: like she that doesn't even enter? How she going to
- 57:18Speaker 1: take care of herself if you weren't around. I'm not
- 57:21Speaker 1: really understanding this. Is she just going to get another
- 57:24Speaker 1: man to take care of her and provide for her?
- 57:27Speaker 1: Is that where she's at with it? You know, you
- 57:32Speaker 1: guys are starting off this relationship on the wrong foot.
- 57:36Speaker 1: You'll never make it to the future that you want
- 57:39Speaker 1: to see with this kind of lack of communication and
- 57:43Speaker 1: just lack of partnership. A marriage and a relationship is
- 57:46Speaker 1: a partnership. Two of you have to agree on something
- 57:49Speaker 1: and you're this is very very basic. If you can't
- 57:52Speaker 1: agree on this, then you guys aren't gonna make it. Really,
- 57:55Speaker 1: you're not, Steve, what's wrong with her? Chipping in? It's
- 58:03Speaker 1: so many things wrong in this letter, man. And I'm
- 58:08Speaker 1: a hard working man. I work from SunUp sundown. I
- 58:12Speaker 1: do well for myself. That's nice, brother, appreciate you telling
- 58:15Speaker 1: us that, you know, two years ago, I met a
- 58:18Speaker 1: very beautiful woman who I can see myself being with
- 58:22Speaker 1: for the rest of my life. Now, that's an interesting
- 58:25Speaker 1: statement to make. Before he tell us what's happening in
- 58:28Speaker 1: this letter, he says he's a hard working man, works
- 58:31Speaker 1: sell him sometimes, but he had to met a beautiful
- 58:33Speaker 1: woman that he can see himself with the rest of
- 58:35Speaker 1: his life. That's what he said. By the year ago
- 58:39Speaker 1: into the relationship, we moved in together. Now you're so
- 58:43Speaker 1: happy with her, you to move in whatever she that
- 58:46Speaker 1: beautiful dog I got you and we started playing for
- 58:49Speaker 1: the future because because you said you want to be
- 58:52Speaker 1: with her the rest of our life, you saw you
- 58:54Speaker 1: scooped up. Bam. Now you casually mentioned I was recently
- 58:59Speaker 1: laid off from my job, okay, and I had to
- 59:04Speaker 1: find a new one. Well, she was not working at
- 59:08Speaker 1: the time. See that? Do you all see the gap
- 59:11Speaker 1: in here? Now? She wasn't working at the time or
- 59:14Speaker 1: was he? Was he working when she first met him,
- 59:17Speaker 1: because all he wanted was this beautiful woman and they
- 59:20Speaker 1: moved in together. So I don't know if the woman
- 59:22Speaker 1: was once working and she stopped working. But I do
- 59:25Speaker 1: know he was working and said he was recently laid
- 59:28Speaker 1: off and I had to find a new job. She
- 59:31Speaker 1: was not working at the time. Money was getting tight,
- 59:35Speaker 1: so I took a pay cut. That don't make no
- 59:38Speaker 1: damn sense. The money was getting tight, so I took
- 59:43Speaker 1: a pay cut. What that means was he said he
- 59:46Speaker 1: took another job because they was laid off. Now money
- 59:49Speaker 1: was getting light because he took a pay job. Now
- 59:52Speaker 1: block money was getting late. You ain't take a pay cut.
- 59:54Speaker 1: You went to work, right, this is what this job paid.
- 59:57Speaker 1: You ain't take a pay cut. You went to I
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: got a company to pay less because it's better to
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: have something than nothing, exactly. So that's what that means. Bro.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I asked my girlfriend if she can get a part
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: time job just to help out with explosion. She said, yeah.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: You the man that for you, the one that's supposed
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: to provide. You know why, because that's what you made
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: her think. You made her think that dog because remember
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: you never mentioned that she wasn't working in the beginning.
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: You said at the time when you got laid off,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: she wasn't working either. Now she had the house with you,
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: she ain't knowing you to make a move. You the man.
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: So now you made a move and it wasn't enough.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Now you want her to go to work. Then she say, oh,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: she called you on it. Now I understand what you're saying.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: But here where your mistake you keep making. I wanted
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: to do fifty to fifty, but she said she ain't
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: no roommate. Hold on, man, You invite the woman into
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: your house to get a house together because she beautifully
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: you can see yourself spend the rest of lightwooll. Then
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: when stuff got hard, you want her to chip in.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: She says she didn't want to chip in. Now she
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: wrong for that. She did wrong for that. But then
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: you said you wanted to do fifty fifty. Now you
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: want to turn her into your woman, your wife, and
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: the one you could spend the rest of your life with.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: To a fifty fifty roommate. I don't blame the girl
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: for saying ain't your roommate. So I did the worst thing.
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Here you go, see now you keep stacking on stupid.
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: So I did the worst thing. I went to Facebook
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: for advice. Who the hell knows something on faithbook? You
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: went to social media for some advice? Well, hate him up.
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: Boy boy, you went to social media for some advice.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: Who you think on social media? Man? Have you read
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: the comments that be on social media? I wouldn't they asked.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: They asked an opinion of nothing, because you're not gonna
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: get a general consensus of nothing. All right, Steve, hang
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: on to your response. We'll have part two coming up
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: at twenty three after the hour, subject what's wrong with
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: her chipping in? We'll be back right after this. You're
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: listening show, all right? Come on, Steve, let's recap today's
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Strawberry letter, and the subject is what's wrong with her
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: chipping in? With that woman? Yeah? Yeah, yeah, she's so fine.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: You could see yourself living with her the rest of
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: your life. A year too, it y'all? Moving everything? Grave, man,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: you work some up to sundown. You're working, man. You
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: never mentioned she was working anhe but all of a
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: sudden you tell me that you got laid off. So
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: when you got re laid off, you had to find
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: a new job. She wasn't working. Money was getting tight,
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: so I took a pay cut. I mean, you wouldn't
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: take a job to pay left? I asked my girlfriend
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: she could get a part time job, just to help
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: out with expecially she said, I ain't gonna do this. Here,
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: you the man that for you, the one that's supposed
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: to provide. Then you said, here, what you got stupid
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: in the matter? I want to do fifty fifty. But
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: she says she ain't no roommate, and I can understand
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: she's right for that. That she was wrong for teking.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: She ain't taking no part time job to pitch in.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: That was wrong. So then you got stupid in then
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: and you went on Facebook for advice? Boy? Boy, what
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: is wrong with you? You went to social media for
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: some advice? Do you have any idea? Who owns social media?
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: I do. I do an interview, I get talked about
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: like a dog. I jump around doing a que hot.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: I get a praise life and I'm so dad. Yeah,
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: I'm I do a cute hot on a video and
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: I get praised. Hold up? Can I just say that
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: video gave me life? Yeah? I just say that. But
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: ain't he the same? Yeah? Boy? I love that video. Boy,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: But you think, let's see you you you gotta understand
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: what it is, so sir, Then you say you went
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: to Facebook for advice. It backfired and I got called
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: a little boy. Well, you know why backfired because you
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: thought everybody were gonna be in agreement with you, but
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: they wasn't. And you know what, man, a lot of
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: these women technically are correct. Even though I feel she
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: was wrong for saying I'm not getting no part times,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: I'll help you with no experence. I felt that was filed.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: I really did, but don't. Yeah, you ain't doing everything
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: you can do to step up. You really not. And
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I just thank you coming up short. A lot of
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: single women who feel this way. I thought relationships or
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: marriages were partnerships. You ever said. I want you to
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: understand what you think the partnership is. Let's go back
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: to what your idea of what you wanted to do.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: You said you wanted to do fifty fifty. I'm married.
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: Can I explain something to you on behalf of Shirley
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: and Carlin and Tommy. Marriage is never fifty fifty. I
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: don't know who told that to you, but it's not.
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: Marriage is eighty five fifteen, and you're gonna be damn
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: lucky with that fifteen because most days is you get
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: anywhere from nine to twelve percent. That's what marriage really is.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Fellas you don't get to be fifty fifty. Stop thinking
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: you're getting into a relationship and it's gonna be fifty fifty.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: And you want me to tell you why it's not
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: fifty fifty and it will never ever be fifty fifty
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: because you can't do what a woman does. It's why
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: it can't be fifty fifty. Let me just shut the
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: argument down before you're stupid behind tries to make warm.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: They can make babies, they can bring human life into
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: this world. You can't. I don't care if you can
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: make six figures a year, you can't make a single baby.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: You can't tell me your children ain't worth a hundred thousand.
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: You can't tell me your child Somebody told me I'll
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: give you a million dollars I take your child from you.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: You wouldn't even entertain that, not no decent person would.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: So now guess what, Since you can't make a baby,
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: how to hell is it fifty fifty? How help me? Brothers,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: it's not fifty fifty. Just from that thing along, and
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: all of you that have children must respect that fact.
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: And if you don't have a child, and one day
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: you will respect that fact. But I got news for
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: you where all of us can respect. You wouldn't be
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: here if it wasn't for a woman. They ain't a
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: dude living would be here if it wasn't for a woman.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: It's a woman gave you life somewhere. Well, y'all get
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: this fifty fifty from bros. Just ain't how this work.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: It's eighty five fifteen on a good day. You'll never
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: get more than fifteen. And you have to take this
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: fifteen and put your pants on and be a man
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: and accept the fifteenth. And it's a good thing. Fifteen
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: percent from a woman who gives you so much is
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: an outstanding Because you're eighty five is the equivalent of fifteen.
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: That go, you're fifty fifty right now? That go your
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: fifty fifty right there, partner, And it's good. The fact
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: that they can give you the loving you need to
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: get out there and make it through another day. That
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: right there, that's a nub. I'll tell you what. That's
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: the way if she stopped giving you this item that
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: you have to have to survive as a heterosexual male,
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: that thing that you have to have to survive, if
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: she stopped giving it to you, what's that worth to you?
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Six figures eighty five fifteen. What is worth? It's worth whatever.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: She's not giving zero in this letter though he's sleeping
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: with her. She wrong for not wanting to help out
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: and wrong for Tim to to you that way. But
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: you double wrong if you think this thing fit to
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: be fifty fifty. Now advice I have for you since
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: you don't want to Facebook and now you don't, can't
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: to a straw bad letter if you do it every
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: thing we're talking to God. You need to break up. Yeah,
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: you need to bring come and start over until you
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: get an understanding. And that's all I got to say. Peel,
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: how you want to feel about me? I ain't on faithbook.
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: You called me feel all right? Thank you, sir. You
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: can post your thoughts on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: f M and then check out our Strawberry Letter podcast
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: on demand. Okay, now, coming up in ten minutes, Steve
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: is here with his tax tips. All right, Steve's tax
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: Yes better? Who better? This Monday is April fifteenth, you know,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: and that is tax day? Yes? Have you filed yet?
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening to the
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. The White House is pushing back
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: at the Democrats quest their request and quest to have
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Donald Trump's tax returns released. Last week, House democrats requested
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: the release of the last six years of Trump's personal
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: and business tax returns. In an interview with Fox News,
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: White House Acting Chief of Staff mc mulvaney was asked
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: whether Congress should get access to Trump's tax returns. He responded, no, never,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: you know what, Never you know what. Let me tell
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: you something, man, I don't care anymore about his tax
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: returns because I already know what it's gonna say, and
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: it's not going to stop the people from voting from him,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: that's voting for him. They're gonna think, like he said,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: he's a really smart guy. And guess what what he's
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: done is probably legal. I could almost guarantee you that
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: it's just he has manipulated the loopholes to what they
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: fit perfectly into what he's doing. And even if it's
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: not legal, they're aren't gonna care. Nobody, Yeah, nobody cares.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: They just want him in office. Mulvaney continued, Steve saying
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: Democrats are demanding that the Irs turn over the document.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: This is not going to happen, and then they know it.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: This is a political stunt. The President gave a brief
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: explanation as to why his taxes are being scrutinized by
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: the I R S. Take a listen. I'm always under
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: ordered a change, but I've been under ordered for many
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: years because the the numbers are big. And I guess
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: when you have a name, you you're ordered it. Okay, Yeah,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: there's that up. Everybody cool with that? Now? Yes, yeah,
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: it's not gonna because you have a name, you're ordered it.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: How about let's get a candidate that could beat him.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: How about that? You know what? I had Van Jones
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: on my show. He's gonna appear on the show. And uh,
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: you know. He took a lot of flak from quote
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: unquote black Twitter. Yes, there is no such thing as
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: black Twitter because Twitter is on by white folks. Is
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: just black folks tweeter, which is crazy. Yeah, and he
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: said he didn't care. And I listened to him talk man,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: and he was an interesting guy. He's very very smart
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: with what he did. And what President Trump did was
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: he passed this bill. I can't think of the name
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: of the bill, but let me give you the numbers.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Four thousand inmates will be released this year. Okay, twenty
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: five thousand inmates will have their sentences shortened. These are
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: people who are in there for nonviolent drug related offenses.
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: One hundred thousand women who are incarcerated will be able
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: to have their babies in prison without being shackle to
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: the bed. Do you know that if an inmate has
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: a baby in prison, the shackle to the bed. Yeah,
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: they had to pass a law to stop that. And
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: he went and he kept meeting, meeting with Trump's people,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: and at first he was against it, and then he
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: understood what Van was saying and he gave it to
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: him and they passed the law. Well, just like Mary Ellis,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: you know, with the help of Kim Kardashian got out out.
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: So this is going to be a trend. You're saying,
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: more and more people are going to get out. What's
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: what's the bigger part of it is what Van Jones
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: did because now he has it as a law, it's
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: a law that these people are going to get out.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: I don't have to tell you how many of them
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: people it's us. Oh yeah, you number for this now, well,
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: four thousand of getting out this year. Twenty five thousand
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: had their sentences this reduced. I mean they were getting
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: some crazy because these was prison times from the eighties.
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: You know when that crazy crack law came out. Yeah,
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: you know that Clinton did. Did Did he say why?
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I think it? Did he say why Donald Trump is
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: so into this? Yeah? He said because he wants to
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: do something right. I mean that was Van Jones's thing.
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: He said he wants to do something right. You think
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: that's right? Stick, I think you want to do something right.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: You think that's the reason. You mean, do you really
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: think he wants to do something right? Well, if he's
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: doing it, what what difference do it make to us? Why?
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: See why he doing it? Because sometimes you know, in
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: trying to reach a peace with an enemy. Uh, the
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: why he wants peace ain't really the other side's part.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: As long as we get to be as long as
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: we each country stopped bombing each other. I'm pretty sure
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: that's what. Now, what's his motive behind it? I have
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: no idea. You don't know that. I can assure you
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: it has something to do with re election, Yes, because
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: I could assure you he wants to say this. Oh yeah,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: and you know what, and and he has every right
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: to do it because he's the one that did it.
- 1:14:54Speaker 1: You know, so I'm pretty sure of that. But what
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: difference do it make? We don't have time because Van
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Jones said, he said, all the inmates he interviewed, all
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: the ones he interviewed, hundreds thousands, he said, not one
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: of them said a man, don't get me out. Wild
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Trump is okay, thank you, he said, not one of
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: them people say, hey, man, don't get me out, wild
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: trumping office. I don't want him getting credit for that.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: They just won't out. They need to be out. And man,
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: he said some stuff that was like amazing. Man, he
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: told me some stuff I'm not gonna repeat. I'm gonna
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: just let y'all watch it. We'll tell everybody when it'll air.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: All right, perfect, all right, Well, um, before we get
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: out of here, Steve, you're not gonna get out of
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: here without giving us at least a couple of tacks tips. Now,
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: all right, here we go. Number one. Pale send them people.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: They damn play with these people, tells you in the Bible,
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: gives Caesar his dude. Come on, no, I don't know what.
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: All I'm telling you is better pay people, right, yeah, man,
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: they are the one people who can get your check

- 1:17:02Speaker 1: The Master's Golf Tournament has started, and it's an unusual
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: sporting event because the most famous athlete in the tournament
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: by far is Tiger Woods, who happens to be considered
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: now an older golfer. Imagine that, yeah, imagine that right,
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: he started so young. Other than hardcore golf fans, nobody
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: really cares about the young golfers. Everyone is focused on Tiger.
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: Golf is that one sport that guys can compete for
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: championships into their forties and even into their fifties. So

- 1:24:40Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: Morning Show. Uh. Lauren London, Nipsey Hustle's love and mother
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: of his children, of his child, gave a beautiful speech
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: about the love of her life, Nipsey Hustle at a
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: celebration of life memorial service. Um, it was a beautiful service.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: His brother Sam spoke very eloquently. I loved what he
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: said about his little brother Snoop dog. I mean, so
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: many wonderful speakers, you know, surely I'll say this. I've
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: never lost you know, my wife, my lover, she lost
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: her man hellover. You've got to be an incredibly strong
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: person to talk at that funeral. Yes, Lord, she's what
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: you do. This is what Lauren London said. Take a listen.
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: You've given me the opportunity to really love a man.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: You've been with me while I've been sick through all
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: my fears. You have encouraged me and inspired me to
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: reach higher. I've learned so much about myself with you.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: You've been my turn up and my church. I wouldn't
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: want to go through this journey with anyone but you.
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: I look up to you in a lot of ways,
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: and I strive to educate myself more like you have.
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: And when we are at odds, I feel defeated and
- 1:26:01Speaker 1: sad knowing that we are so much better than that.
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: I just want you to know that you've been You've
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: been the greatest boyfriend to me. You weren't perfect, but
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: I would never ask you to be. You and I work,
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: we fit and you're the coolest guy in the world
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: to me. Still, I love you so much, unconditionally. My
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: truth is this, I'm never gonna give up on you.
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: My love and my devotion is to you, and I
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: sent that January twenty first, twenty nineteen. I had to
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: write something because I've never felt this type of pain before.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: But I know that God is alive. But bear with me.
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: All his soul was majestic. He was the strongest man
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: that I ever knew, A gentle father, a patient leader,
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: a divine light. He was brilliant. He researched everything, completely
- 1:27:13Speaker 1: self taught, constantly seeking knowledge. He would he would go
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: to bed and listen to these audio books and his headphones,
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: and I would tease him, but that really is what
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: I thought was the coolest ever about him. And he
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: would wake up in the morning and play music for
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: the kids and light a sage and burn it around
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: the house and just make sure that our energy going
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: outside would be uplifted and that we could handle the day.
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: You know, my pain is for my two year old
- 1:27:47Speaker 1: that probably won't remember how much his dad loved him.
- 1:27:52Speaker 1: This is something that you know, I never I don't
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: really understand, but I know that aramis always used sets
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: people that you experienced them, and I'm so honored and
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: blessed that I got to experience such a man. I
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: know everyone is hurting. But I'd like to say something
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: to my city, Los Angeles. Y'all from our LA stand up,
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: because this pain is really ours. You know, we know
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: what it meant to us. We lost an incredible soul.
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: We lost someone very rare to us, and we lost
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: a real one and we won't ever be the same.
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: But in Hustle's words, because he used to always say this,
- 1:28:44Speaker 1: the game is gonna test you. Never fold, stay tin
- 1:28:47Speaker 1: toes down. It's not on you. It's in you. And
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: what's in you they can't take away. And he's in
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: all of us. It's an ammis the love of my life.
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: You know what it is. Grief is the final act
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: of love. My heart hears you. I feel you everywhere.
- 1:29:15Speaker 1: I'm so grateful that I had you. I love you
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: beyond this earth and until we meet again. The marathon continued.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: You're listening to show, all right, Steve, Let's talk about
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: something everybody knows about. Uh. That is a game of Thrones. Okay,
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: Winter winters can really last a long time. Summer span
- 1:29:43Speaker 1: decades too. The struggle for the Iron throne begins this Sunday.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: Stay yes, Yeah, I ain't gonna be able to watch
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: it this Sunday. I gotta wait till all them over. Now,
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: are you gonna called you? Full seasons behind? That's why. Yeah,
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: I was just asking, are you all called I'm actual
- 1:30:00Speaker 1: and caught up, sir washing, I just being washed off.
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: I saw the wall go down. Yeah, I saw the
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: dragon get up over there because the White Walker got
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: the damn dragons, damn wall down. Everybody gotta get about here,
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: the damn dragon coming. Now, the White Walkers there coming, Neil,
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: I'll tell you what's gonna happen after y'all talk. Yeah,
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: I can't wait to see John Snow, let's get some Yeah. Okay,
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: come on, come on, and your favorite character, Steve. I
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: know it's Terria Hunt. Yeah, the me and Tim Okay,
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: shut up, shut up? What you know it's it's on
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: the weight. That's when you know it's coming. Okay, So Steve,
- 1:30:54Speaker 1: come on with your predictions. Right, hold on, let me
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: get my breath. It's about to happen when we laugh left, okay,
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: come on still, when we laugh left, the White Walking okay,
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: went out to the lake and pull it dead, dragging
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: out they did. They pull him out, and they gave
- 1:31:20Speaker 1: him blue eyes. Now he dead but he on eighteen. Now,
- 1:31:26Speaker 1: so the head white walker, I called him Skelly. Kelly
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: got up on his back and roll his ass over
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: there to the wall. White walker is trying to get
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: in that wall for the beginning of time. That's right.
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: They had that damn five breathing dragon, blowing blue fire,
- 1:31:45Speaker 1: running that damn wall down. White folk running there, and
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: I don't think who you is, black, white Latino, your
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: ass scared of fire. Yeah, so they got out, and
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: so now they're heading out, and now they got to
- 1:32:01Speaker 1: go and get John Snow kneel and round up all
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: the different clans because now they got to come together
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: because they all got to go to walk against the whitewalker.
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: So now while the whitewalkers is coming, called, they slow
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: in hell, you know, they're dead, yeah, you know, try
- 1:32:17Speaker 1: they're rocking. So they take a long time. So they
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: own horses and stuff running here to come, here to come,
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: oh Lord, here to come, and a lot of people,
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: you know, and but the white walker walking, Yeah, you're
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: calling white walker because take a long time away. Look
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: like they're walking in white snow. Yeah, they't white runners,
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: They white, white, white short. So they don't get back.
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: They got to get everything together. Somebody got to go
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: tell that white girl Kalisa it all. Haler broke up.
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: One of her dragons is down. But he coming back
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: with blue eyes because they're gonna have some witnesses from
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: the wall. They're gonna tell her the dragon is hat.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: With the blue eyes dash say the dragon is hell.
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: It's become a white locker. Now, John Snow now fot
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: to season go out, y'all need not to. John Snow
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: gonna get killed. No, everybody gonna die in this hill.
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: All right, all right, listen, thank you Steve for that.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: I can't wait to watch coming up next to our
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: last break of the day, and Steve will have some
- 1:33:21Speaker 1: closing remarks coming up at forty nine after the hour
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: right after this you're listening show. All right, Steve, Here
- 1:33:29Speaker 1: we are the last break of the day, on this
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: last day of the week for us, this Friday. It's
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: been an impactful week, a great week. Um, leave us
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: with some closing remarks, you know, Steve, Um, what I
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: want to share with you is something that prevents so
- 1:33:46Speaker 1: many people from becoming successful. And that thing is called excuses.
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: You know, it's it's it's it's amazing how well, we
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: want to justify a lack of effort, or we want
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: to justify our procrastination. All we want to justify not
- 1:34:09Speaker 1: doing something we said we were going to do. We
- 1:34:14Speaker 1: want to justify just not getting started. We can come
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: up with some pretty pretty impressive excuses. But you know
- 1:34:24Speaker 1: the thing about an excuse, though, it serves no one
- 1:34:30Speaker 1: except the person that's providing the excuse. The person you're
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: giving the excuse too. It does nothing from them because
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: their level of expectation for you was in place and
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: the fact that you didn't come through. I mean, how
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: can you possibly think that this person is sitting there going, wow,
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: that's great, you didn't come through. Now you're here, okay,
- 1:34:55Speaker 1: well I'm sorry that happened. So when will you get
- 1:34:59Speaker 1: to it? Or you hear something like oh wow, man,
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: I didn't know that. And when you walk a guy
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: and when you walk away, that person goes, wow. I
- 1:35:08Speaker 1: can't count on them. If you keep giving excuses, then
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: after a while a person just goes, I don't believe
- 1:35:15Speaker 1: nothing he says. And either way, man, the person that
- 1:35:20Speaker 1: you gave the excuse too, I can promise you they
- 1:35:23Speaker 1: don't think as much of you as they did when
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: they first thought you were coming through. Folks, if you
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: could learn to eliminate excuses, you know, taught me not
- 1:35:34Speaker 1: to have excuses. My father follows a strong man man.
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: His dude was powerful. To me. It's the greatest dude
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: to have a new But he taught me about excuses.
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: He says, son, don't ever give me an excuse, because
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: what that ain't gonna do me no good. He said,
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: we ain't got nothing. At least you could give me
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: your word. He said, we ain't got nothing else. We
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: ain't got too much more than a part to piss in.
- 1:36:04Speaker 1: But if you're gonna give me your word and tell
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: me you're gonna do something, don't give me no excuse instead,
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: because now we ain't got nothing, y'all. If you could
- 1:36:12Speaker 1: eliminate excuses, if you could stop the allowing yourself off
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: the hook, because that's all it is. The only person
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: you're hurting with these excuses is you. I'll give you
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: an example of how you hurt other people with your excuse. Sister,
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: If you have a child and you keep promising your
- 1:36:34Speaker 1: child that you're gonna do so, if you're a dad,
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: then you don't live with your child. Your boy or
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: your girl. You tell them you're gonna come by. That
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: child is at the window and at the doorway, and
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: they got their little bag pack, they got their lunch packs.
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: I'm going with my dad and man on, man on man.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: The disappointment that had that child had when you and
- 1:36:54Speaker 1: then you call in against what you say. I had
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: to work, sorry man, but I had to work. Well,
- 1:37:00Speaker 1: I got you head to work for Guess what that
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: does nothing for that child that was waiting on their dad.
- 1:37:05Speaker 1: I got you got to work. But what they got
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: to do that don't stop the disappointment in the child.
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: See excuses, man, they go a long wait many they
- 1:37:15Speaker 1: do far more damage than you can imagine. So after
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: a while, if you keep doing that to that child,
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: and you keep promising your child you're gonna do something,
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: you never do it. Ah, think about that, man, what
- 1:37:29Speaker 1: that does to that child. If you're in a relationship
- 1:37:33Speaker 1: and you keep promising the person you're in a relationship
- 1:37:35Speaker 1: with it you're gonna do something for him, and you
- 1:37:37Speaker 1: never do it. How long you think this relationship gonna lad?
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: You gotta do what you say you're gonna do. You
- 1:37:43Speaker 1: can't create excuses. But then the person who really gets
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: damaged is you, Because when that child grows up and
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: he can now stand on his own, and he can
- 1:37:54Speaker 1: take his own self somewhere, and he can buy his
- 1:37:57Speaker 1: own clothes, and now you want to come around and hey,
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: that's my son. And then he's old enough to ask
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: you questions. Yeah, I'm your sonbol Where were you when
- 1:38:07Speaker 1: I needed you? Man? Where were you when I was
- 1:38:10Speaker 1: standing in the window. Where were you when I was
- 1:38:12Speaker 1: sitting on the porch, man, with my lunch box, just
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: looking at every card that went by, hoping that my
- 1:38:17Speaker 1: daddy would finally come through to my mama finally tend
- 1:38:20Speaker 1: me coming there off the porch. You see, man, Now
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: you got to deal with that and all the excuses
- 1:38:28Speaker 1: you was giving that boy or that little girl back then.
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: It don't mean damn thing to them, you know, man,
- 1:38:34Speaker 1: And it stops you so much. See, once you become
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: a person that provides excuses, it ain't just to your children,
- 1:38:41Speaker 1: it ain't just to your love one, your lover. It's
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: to your job, it's to your career. And pretty soon
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: you start giving excuses to yourself because it's a pattern
- 1:38:51Speaker 1: of behavior. And you got to break that pattern of
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: behavior because it's a no win situation for you. Stop
- 1:38:58Speaker 1: making excuses. Man, Why don't you just simply do what
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: you say you're gonna do. It's much easier to do that.
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: If you say you're gonna do it, be a man
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: of your word, a woman of your word, and go
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: do it. Period. Now, if you're not gonna do it,
- 1:39:17Speaker 1: say that. Be a man of your word on that. See,
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: that's what I do. When somebody asked me to do something,
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: I distinctly tell him, Amen, I'm not gonna do that.
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but I won't be there that way. Ain't
- 1:39:30Speaker 1: no hope of you're looking for me? Well, he said
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: he wasn't coming, but I'm gonna see if he come
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: them anywhere? No, no, no, if I tell you I'm
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: not coming. For all Steve Every contests no purchase necessary,
