- 1:58Speaker 1: your thing dat it? Uh huh, I shure will good
- 2:03Speaker 1: morning everybody. You're listening to the voice, Come on dig
- 2:07Speaker 1: me now. One and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Man got a radio show because God is in a
- 2:13Speaker 1: blessing business. I just happened to be a recipient. I
- 2:19Speaker 1: just happened to got a couple of things right, um,
- 2:24Speaker 1: and man, his grace and mercy carries you the rest
- 2:28Speaker 1: of the way. All you got to do is get
- 2:31Speaker 1: a couple of things right, and then his grace and
- 2:33Speaker 1: his mercy will take over his favor, his love of you.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It's it's already evident. I mean, you know, because so
- 2:41Speaker 1: many times we go along without even acknowledging him or
- 2:45Speaker 1: conferring with him. In our decisions, and and we look
- 2:48Speaker 1: up and we find ourselves in a predicament. And he
- 2:51Speaker 1: always comes comes to the rescue. He always manages to
- 2:57Speaker 1: show up. He's never too late, he's of a one
- 3:00Speaker 1: minute too late. And so in light of this today
- 3:05Speaker 1: I wanted to talk to you about something. It's another
- 3:10Speaker 1: principle of success um that i'd like to share with
- 3:13Speaker 1: all everybody this morning. And once again, these are not
- 3:17Speaker 1: things that you don't know or you've never heard before.
- 3:21Speaker 1: These are just reminders along the way. And one of
- 3:25Speaker 1: the things you have to be conscious of is don't
- 3:27Speaker 1: be afraid to change. Don't be afraid to change because
- 3:32Speaker 1: change is coming anyway. See, I have a theory, don't
- 3:38Speaker 1: be afraid to change because change is coming anyway. You know,
- 3:43Speaker 1: everything changes, nothing remains the same nothing, and change is inevitable. Now,
- 3:50Speaker 1: you can participate in the change, or you can react
- 3:54Speaker 1: to the change. Are you following me? You can participate
- 4:01Speaker 1: in the change or you can react to the change.
- 4:07Speaker 1: But don't be afraid to change because change is coming anyway. Now,
- 4:11Speaker 1: what I mean by that is this, in participating in
- 4:15Speaker 1: the change or reacting in the change, there is a difference. See,
- 4:21Speaker 1: if you react to the change. That means the change
- 4:25Speaker 1: has occurred, and now you have to make the necessary
- 4:28Speaker 1: adjustments to the change. Example, the boss walks in, You
- 4:35Speaker 1: think your job is good. The boss walks in and
- 4:38Speaker 1: hands you a pink slip. That right there, that's a change.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Now you didn't participate in this change because you didn't
- 4:49Speaker 1: ask for the pink slip. But now you got to
- 4:51Speaker 1: react to the pink slip. Whenever you have to react
- 4:55Speaker 1: to the change, it's an adjustment period. It almost thows
- 5:01Speaker 1: you off. So change is going to come. It always does.
- 5:09Speaker 1: You can participate or you can react. Or let's say
- 5:16Speaker 1: your boss comes in and hands you the pink slip,
- 5:19Speaker 1: and you said, you know what I've been preparing for
- 5:22Speaker 1: this day? Always knew nothing. Last forever. I've been working
- 5:28Speaker 1: on the sideline on the business idea I had, and
- 5:32Speaker 1: I had, or I had several other applications in around town.
- 5:35Speaker 1: I was just holding off to see what was going gone.
- 5:38Speaker 1: So when they hand you the pink slip, the transition
- 5:41Speaker 1: to adjustment you make is a lot more smooth a
- 5:44Speaker 1: transition because now you just transition into your new business.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I did that you've been working on. Are you transition
- 5:51Speaker 1: into the apps you already had in or the contact
- 5:53Speaker 1: you made the preparation for when the day they're coming
- 5:57Speaker 1: in hand you the pink slip? What stee what did
- 5:59Speaker 1: they say? Prize you with it? This is just one
- 6:01Speaker 1: example I'm giving you. So you know, let's let's not
- 6:04Speaker 1: nick pick the message. So what I'm saying to everybody is,
- 6:10Speaker 1: don't be afraid to change because change is coming anyway.
- 6:14Speaker 1: So many people are stuck in a rut because of
- 6:18Speaker 1: your our refusal to change. I was hell bent on
- 6:23Speaker 1: a certain thing going a certain way, and this is
- 6:26Speaker 1: how I was gonna go. Well that that I was
- 6:29Speaker 1: thinking didn't really fit now in my own personal experience
- 6:34Speaker 1: this may not be yours, but in my own personal experience,
- 6:37Speaker 1: the things that I've had the most trouble letting go
- 6:40Speaker 1: of but needed to let go of with something I
- 6:44Speaker 1: wanted when I aligned myself up with the will of
- 6:49Speaker 1: God to ask God what he wanted for me. You understand, though,
- 6:55Speaker 1: though those things came a lot more easy to me
- 7:00Speaker 1: because it was in the will of God. It was
- 7:02Speaker 1: what God wanted me to do too. Okay, see what
- 7:04Speaker 1: you mean by that? Okay, here we go, Okay, Okay,
- 7:07Speaker 1: here we go. Let me see if I can get
- 7:08Speaker 1: you an example. Okay, here we go. When things were
- 7:13Speaker 1: going wrong in in relationships, for me, what I did
- 7:21Speaker 1: was the biggest mistake I've ever made was I fixed.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I attempted to fix what was wrong in my relationship
- 7:29Speaker 1: outside of the relationship ful filming. Okay, now this is
- 7:34Speaker 1: what I this this something I came up with. That's
- 7:37Speaker 1: certainly not the will of God. That's certainly not what
- 7:39Speaker 1: he wants. But this is what I came up with.
- 7:42Speaker 1: So I'm out there working my groove like I want to. Well, now,
- 7:46Speaker 1: guess what. That's a cause and effect for all of
- 7:49Speaker 1: that too. Your house ain't gonna get better. It can't.
- 7:55Speaker 1: And then that ladies room for some other things. And
- 7:58Speaker 1: so now and the change come. Guess what, I gotta
- 8:02Speaker 1: react to it? Now, I gotta, I gotta, I gotta
- 8:07Speaker 1: have a reaction to it. Had I aligned myself up
- 8:10Speaker 1: in the will of God, the transition may have gone differently.
- 8:16Speaker 1: It could have still ended the relationship. But guess what,
- 8:20Speaker 1: some of the pains in and I ain't had to
- 8:22Speaker 1: go through. I bought a lot on myself. Sometimes you're
- 8:28Speaker 1: pursuing a passion of yours and what God really wants
- 8:32Speaker 1: you to do is pursue your gift. So now you're
- 8:36Speaker 1: pursuing your passion. Right, you're passionate about golf. You love
- 8:40Speaker 1: golf so much. You just determined, but now you've messed around.
- 8:44Speaker 1: You ain't made it on the p G A tool yet,
- 8:47Speaker 1: and you fortify still talking about I'm gonna play on
- 8:49Speaker 1: the p G A tool. Really okay, but you ain't
- 8:53Speaker 1: made a cut, you ain't pass Q school, you ain't
- 8:57Speaker 1: see It's it's time for you to start thinking of
- 9:00Speaker 1: how to change, because maybe you ain't as good as
- 9:03Speaker 1: as you think, or maybe you're not as gifted as
- 9:05Speaker 1: you think. Maybe you're pursuing a passion. Sometimes, man, we
- 9:09Speaker 1: have to change, and we have to ask God what
- 9:12Speaker 1: is his will? His will is much simpler. It's a
- 9:16Speaker 1: simpler rule. Not going to be easier, but it's simpler.
- 9:21Speaker 1: It's simpler. See. See when I wake up Now, it's
- 9:24Speaker 1: simple for me to wake up because I know that
- 9:27Speaker 1: all a few things that I have to do. I
- 9:30Speaker 1: have to click this mic on. I have to be positive.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I have to be inspirational, I have to be informative.
- 9:37Speaker 1: I have to be uplifting. Got it, that's what he wants.
- 9:41Speaker 1: So it's very simple. I don't have to figure out
- 9:44Speaker 1: what I'm gonna do the first toil minutes of this show.
- 9:47Speaker 1: I don't have to go in and wonder what song
- 9:49Speaker 1: I'm fit to play. What all I gotta do is
- 9:51Speaker 1: sit down, close my eyes, ask God to help me
- 9:55Speaker 1: be who he wants me to be, and for the
- 9:58Speaker 1: most part, he tell me what to say. Now, guess
- 10:01Speaker 1: what he's done though, to create this in me. I
- 10:05Speaker 1: went through enough things in my life. I had enough challenges.
- 10:09Speaker 1: I made plenty of mistakes. So I now, at my age,
- 10:12Speaker 1: I can turn around and tell somebody listening to me, Okay,
- 10:15Speaker 1: this is what I did. This is a mistake I made.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Maybe you see yourself in this story right here. Maybe
- 10:19Speaker 1: you don't have to go this way. Or this is
- 10:21Speaker 1: what I've learned about becoming successful. Here's a principle that
- 10:25Speaker 1: I learned. But then, guess what I had to be
- 10:27Speaker 1: unsuccessful to get it though? Did not. I had to
- 10:31Speaker 1: get it wrong in order to get it right. I
- 10:34Speaker 1: had to be down in understanding how to crawl back up.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I had to go through some pains to understand what
- 10:41Speaker 1: it is to hang in there and how to get
- 10:43Speaker 1: delivered from the pain. So you can't have a testimony
- 10:45Speaker 1: without a test change is coming. It's inevitable. You can
- 10:50Speaker 1: participate or you can react. I much prefer to participate
- 10:54Speaker 1: in the change. All right, let's go to ladies and gentlemen,
- 11:02Speaker 1: boys and girls, people from all around the world. You
- 11:05Speaker 1: are listening, you know what, to the baddest morning showing
- 11:08Speaker 1: the last what you're doing? Man? Yes, so low just
- 11:17Speaker 1: threw that in. That ain't mean nothing, random dog thing.
- 11:22Speaker 1: It's random, But it's good to do that. As I said,
- 11:24Speaker 1: you do it all the time. You do it all
- 11:26Speaker 1: the time. Oh do songs like you need to know that? Yeah?
- 11:34Speaker 1: They do? Yeah? Okay, well we what what was that
- 11:46Speaker 1: he gave? Out? Right? This? I forgot to introduce y'all.
- 11:49Speaker 1: How y'all doing it? I was going, Man, ain't nobody
- 11:52Speaker 1: excited today? Yeah? Yeah, hey Steve, good morning to you.
- 11:59Speaker 1: How are you? Hey? Good morning, Steve shared Junior crew?
- 12:02Speaker 1: Was that morning uc? Yeah, Steve? Yeah, did you see TMZ?
- 12:10Speaker 1: I know you don't get a chance to watch TV.
- 12:12Speaker 1: A couple of days ago, I think it was what
- 12:15Speaker 1: Tuesday night? They did a whole piece on you working out?
- 12:20Speaker 1: Did you see it or hear about it. Yeah, the
- 12:23Speaker 1: trainer Obi TMZ. Yeah, Lisa was positive. Yeah, it really was.
- 12:30Speaker 1: They were excited. They were saying, you know that you
- 12:34Speaker 1: were working out because you're getting ready for a new
- 12:36Speaker 1: TV show. You stay that you were working out though, Steve,
- 12:42Speaker 1: you were doing upper body, and they were like, man,
- 12:45Speaker 1: look at him, he's got some heavy weights on that thing.
- 12:48Speaker 1: You know. They were just commenting. Yeah, yeah, it was.
- 12:52Speaker 1: It was pretty cool. It was hardy, Yeah, it was.
- 12:57Speaker 1: It was good and it was positive. They were They
- 12:59Speaker 1: were inquir because I got him running a drug laundry
- 13:03Speaker 1: according to him, but I ain't. No FBI can't see you. Ain't.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Nobody talked to me. Ye're laundrying drug money, and uh
- 13:13Speaker 1: that's fueling my media impact, right. Yeah. Still stick with
- 13:17Speaker 1: TMZ because they got love for you over there. Wow,
- 13:22Speaker 1: that's really cool. But somebody sending him a picture of
- 13:25Speaker 1: it on TV. Yeah, I mean they had you actually
- 13:28Speaker 1: working out. It was it was really cool. It was
- 13:32Speaker 1: really cool. And you know, you did about I think
- 13:35Speaker 1: you did about four or five exercises upper body, you
- 13:38Speaker 1: did shoulders, you did tricepts. Really, you know what my
- 13:43Speaker 1: trainer did the other day, Yeah, he counted my sets
- 13:47Speaker 1: and reps. I did in total reps my workout the
- 13:52Speaker 1: other day. You know, when you do your counts, I did,
- 13:56Speaker 1: uh eight hundred and twenty two reps. WHOA? But how
- 14:01Speaker 1: much time? Uh in fifty two minutes? WHOA? That was impressed.
- 14:06Speaker 1: That's impressive. And that's what I liked because you weren't,
- 14:09Speaker 1: you know, like breathing real hard and stuff. You did
- 14:14Speaker 1: it with a certain amount of finesse and ease. You know,
- 14:17Speaker 1: you had some swag with it. I like that a lot.
- 14:19Speaker 1: It was cool. That's cool, And I got to look
- 14:23Speaker 1: it up. Somebody find that and send it to Yeah,
- 14:25Speaker 1: they were saying, is that his house? Is that his house?
- 14:27Speaker 1: Or is that a gym? I was screaming at the TV.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Is his house? It's his house? Glad you'll be back.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Thirty something funny. We don't even know what that is,
- 14:40Speaker 1: but it's gonna be funny. You're listening to the Steve

- 15:52Speaker 1: you were born and raised there. Yeah, yeah, surely. But
- 15:54Speaker 1: the people that I'm related to think that because we
- 15:57Speaker 1: own in Houston, that that they have access to all

- 16:03Speaker 1: Stopped thinking we gotta welcome they gotta welcome party. That

- 16:24Speaker 1: We're not coming through there. Steve. Don't hang like that.

- 17:22Speaker 1: Don't speak for Steve as Steve he may want to go.

- 20:16Speaker 1: good answer, good answer. You're not getting you all that?
- 20:20Speaker 1: That's in. Let's move on, go ahead, Shirley, all right,
- 20:24Speaker 1: that's really funny. All that all right? Steve, We have
- 20:27Speaker 1: to ask you some questions because you know Halloween is
- 20:29Speaker 1: coming up, so I just want to know. Just go
- 20:33Speaker 1: around the room and what costumes would you put us
- 20:36Speaker 1: in if we could dress up in Halloween costumes? Jay
- 20:39Speaker 1: Anthony Brown, he ain't here today, but he'll be dragging.
- 20:42Speaker 1: He'll got the widows peak forward. You just got them
- 20:51Speaker 1: too sharp and angry, so he would definitely be uh
- 21:00Speaker 1: at that. Now, I'm gonna do everybody different, caller. It's
- 21:07Speaker 1: gonna go as a church woman. You gonna go as
- 21:11Speaker 1: an usher rush. I'm gonna have one hand behind your
- 21:20Speaker 1: back all the time with the white glttles. But you
- 21:23Speaker 1: accustom us, now hold up. I wanted to be able
- 21:27Speaker 1: to do all that. Can I finish from when we
- 21:29Speaker 1: come back? Time a Halloween costumes for the morning. You're
- 21:37Speaker 1: listening to Steve Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 21:41Speaker 1: of the hour, Mrs Anna is gonna be here with
- 21:43Speaker 1: National News and uh nephew, Tommy is gonna do is
- 21:47Speaker 1: run that prank back. But first, Steve, did you want
- 21:49Speaker 1: to finish our Halloween costumes? Yeah? Jr. Now I got
- 21:54Speaker 1: Ja as Dracula to shop teeth and he angry? Okay,
- 22:01Speaker 1: callor a cussing usher, yes, like ain'timo damn seen sit
- 22:08Speaker 1: your an't seen it? Well? The pastor's talking here, the
- 22:19Speaker 1: trade in words, the trade Junior gonna go as a
- 22:31Speaker 1: chip monk, yeah, like else small small, got that smiled
- 22:39Speaker 1: and big chipmunk. Yeah. I'll be the happy boy's high
- 22:44Speaker 1: head body. Okay, Now, Shirley, you know I'm picking stuff
- 22:51Speaker 1: that y'all don't wouldn't normally do. You're gonna go as
- 22:56Speaker 1: a madam at a broad You the head lady down
- 23:01Speaker 1: at the broth. You scheduling hookers, the scheduler, Shelley, Rude Jean,
- 23:10Speaker 1: you next up, Come on, Ruth, knock it out the
- 23:16Speaker 1: park girl. We need this money scheduling though. Okay, before
- 23:24Speaker 1: we get to the prank, we got two more to go,
- 23:26Speaker 1: You and Tommy. So what's Tommy's gonna be? Oh, Tommy
- 23:30Speaker 1: going as come on, Tommy going as Michaelangelo, Oh from
- 23:37Speaker 1: the Ninja Turtles. Okay, we'll be back. Let's get to
- 23:41Speaker 1: the prank back shopper at the funeral. Here we go,
- 23:49Speaker 1: y'all trying to reach your James James, Yeah, yeah, what's up? Hey?
- 23:55Speaker 1: This this is Gerald. I was a pre uh your
- 24:00Speaker 1: your friend Chopper. Yeah, and the Chopper just uh passed
- 24:05Speaker 1: away last week, right, I know they posed hell the
- 24:10Speaker 1: funeral and stuff over at uh at my Baptist church
- 24:14Speaker 1: and uh, I don't really know you, but me, Me
- 24:16Speaker 1: and me and Chopper and a bunch of rest thos
- 24:18Speaker 1: Man we used to hang out at the club not
- 24:21Speaker 1: too far from the house. You know. That's pretty much
- 24:23Speaker 1: with choppol woold all the time. And at the club
- 24:26Speaker 1: any way, what a bunch of us was over at
- 24:28Speaker 1: the club talking man and I was we was really
- 24:31Speaker 1: when he reached out to one of the family members,
- 24:33Speaker 1: you know, and then somebody said you was, you know,
- 24:35Speaker 1: kind of a good friend of Hells. And when we
- 24:39Speaker 1: we we we decided to call you and see if
- 24:41Speaker 1: you didn't mind. Do you think that you can talk
- 24:45Speaker 1: to uh some of the family members and see if
- 24:50Speaker 1: they don't mind having the funeral at the club. At
- 24:54Speaker 1: the club, let me let me try to explain something
- 24:56Speaker 1: to you, Jane. What we're trying to do is see,
- 25:00Speaker 1: we believe that we believe you said at the club,
- 25:03Speaker 1: come on the club. There's a funeral, and I understand it.
- 25:07Speaker 1: But see, see Chop Choppa ain't really go to church
- 25:11Speaker 1: a whole lot. You know what I'm saying. He didn't
- 25:12Speaker 1: really really go long as I've been knowing it. Now,
- 25:15Speaker 1: he loved a lord and stuff like that. But there's
- 25:18Speaker 1: a church going folks. But I understand. But see choppol
- 25:23Speaker 1: woodn't Chopol and Chopper went to the club. So what
- 25:26Speaker 1: I'm asking you will less how the funeral at the club? Hell, no, bro,
- 25:31Speaker 1: come on, we can't have no funeral at no club, man,
- 25:34Speaker 1: Come on. What I'm saying is, though, is that he
- 25:37Speaker 1: wasn't really no church going person. I believe that a
- 25:41Speaker 1: person ought to be the last words are to be
- 25:44Speaker 1: said over him in a place he's more familiar with.
- 25:47Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, player, No, I don't. I
- 25:51Speaker 1: don't know what you mean. Playerut, Now, just just gotta
- 25:53Speaker 1: be a funeral. This this is this is a church
- 25:55Speaker 1: for I go to church and all my folks go
- 25:57Speaker 1: to church. Now we we we gotta do this thing
- 25:59Speaker 1: up in church. This is a church saying. But you
- 26:01Speaker 1: don't feel But do you understand where I'm coming from? No,
- 26:03Speaker 1: that man ought to going on and and the last
- 26:06Speaker 1: words are to be in a place he mode familiar with.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Not if he went to church, then I understand that.
- 26:11Speaker 1: You see bro, Hell no, no, see this his chance
- 26:14Speaker 1: to get this stuff right. And we're gonna we're gonna
- 26:17Speaker 1: have him up in church in front of everybody. You know,
- 26:21Speaker 1: that don't make sense? Who's this again? I mean, who
- 26:24Speaker 1: are you? My name is Gerald, But who is Gerald?
- 26:26Speaker 1: I mean, how do you? How do you relate to this?
- 26:29Speaker 1: Are you preacher or you? No? No, no, no, no,
- 26:33Speaker 1: I'm I'm I was friends with Chopper and see I
- 26:36Speaker 1: hung out at the club and still hanging out there
- 26:38Speaker 1: with a whole bunch of you know, was real good
- 26:41Speaker 1: friends with Choppering. We were saying that, you know, Choppers,
- 26:45Speaker 1: the last words about Chopper are to be said at
- 26:48Speaker 1: the club, because see that's what Chopper would But five
- 26:50Speaker 1: six days a week, that's what Chopper was. But what
- 26:54Speaker 1: church are you affiliated with? I mean, what? What? Why
- 26:56Speaker 1: the hell would I try to talk to the family,
- 26:59Speaker 1: make you look stupid in front of the family telling
- 27:02Speaker 1: them to put the thing in the club. How that's
- 27:04Speaker 1: gonna go off. We'll see. See That's what I'm saying.
- 27:06Speaker 1: You know him way more than we do, because see
- 27:09Speaker 1: that you're talking about trying to move from a damn
- 27:11Speaker 1: funeral at a church to a damn nightclub or strip
- 27:15Speaker 1: club or something. No, not no strip club, just a nightclub, ain't.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I mean you're talking about having folks travel from across
- 27:23Speaker 1: the country and meeting into the damn club. What kind
- 27:26Speaker 1: of that? But that's what Chopper was. That what Chopper was.
- 27:30Speaker 1: I'm gonna look if I'm the one telling them to
- 27:33Speaker 1: rooted to the damn club, You're gonna look like somebody
- 27:36Speaker 1: that's trying to I'm gonna look like a fool. No,
- 27:38Speaker 1: you're not. You're gonna look like somebody's trying to keep
- 27:40Speaker 1: it real when come to the damn funeral. If I
- 27:42Speaker 1: will do something like that, Okay, okay, let me answer
- 27:45Speaker 1: you this, hitting Jane. Do you think you can maybe
- 27:49Speaker 1: get the body and bring it over to the club. Well,
- 27:54Speaker 1: I'm just saying before they even do the funeral or whatever,
- 27:58Speaker 1: I ain't get the walk in the dog by my
- 28:02Speaker 1: don't touch body for him. Now we're just trying to
- 28:06Speaker 1: say our last words at Chopper man in a place
- 28:09Speaker 1: that Chopper up. No him again? Who do you you
- 28:13Speaker 1: get my number? Somebody at the club had your number,
- 28:16Speaker 1: said you was grint. But why don't y'all call me?
- 28:19Speaker 1: Of all folks, y'all call me, They say you good.
- 28:22Speaker 1: You in with the family, and you can tell me
- 28:24Speaker 1: in with the family. But I ain't end in the family.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Make me look stupid? Hell now, won't y'all? I get
- 28:30Speaker 1: all of them to the family. Y'all call the family,
- 28:33Speaker 1: y'all tell them that yourself. Man, I won't. I just
- 28:35Speaker 1: want trying to get you to brain the body by
- 28:37Speaker 1: man and let us know I ain't touching. No, we
- 28:41Speaker 1: just want to have one last drink with Chopper man.
- 28:43Speaker 1: You have one with your boys and you you get
- 28:46Speaker 1: together with them, and y'all talk about bottom and let
- 28:50Speaker 1: him know how chopper water, what kind of person with?
- 28:53Speaker 1: What kind of person we need? We won't chop up
- 28:55Speaker 1: to be there? This chopper, this is Chopper you talking
- 28:58Speaker 1: about man. Bring y'all to the church. Y'all need to
- 29:02Speaker 1: be up in the church. We want to have a
- 29:04Speaker 1: Chopper at the club. Well we know, man, y'all full well,
- 29:08Speaker 1: we know. Looking like a fool, at the damn funeral?
- 29:13Speaker 1: What this about chopping up? And then I'm writing about Chopper?
- 29:16Speaker 1: You'll break Chopper to that club y'all tripping, man, I
- 29:20Speaker 1: ain't doing I'm just going to this funeral. I'm gonna
- 29:23Speaker 1: tear the sam what I think about chopping And I'm
- 29:25Speaker 1: going if y'all want to c in front of town
- 29:28Speaker 1: of y'all call the FAIMI of y'all selving this. Look,
- 29:31Speaker 1: I got one more thing I want to see. I
- 29:33Speaker 1: don't even know you what what? What? That's this? Nephew
- 29:37Speaker 1: Timmy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just got
- 29:41Speaker 1: praanked by your board. This nephew Tommy man from the
- 29:49Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your board told me to prank you. Man.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I just know y'all ain't did it, James, this is
- 29:59Speaker 1: neph You tell me no, no, man, I can't believe this. No,
- 30:07Speaker 1: he didn't. I can't even believe he did that. Hey, man,
- 30:10Speaker 1: I got one more thing to ask you, man. What
- 30:13Speaker 1: is the baddest radio show in the land, The Steve
- 30:17Speaker 1: Harvey Moaning Show. All right, listen, coming up at the
- 30:22Speaker 1: top of the hour, Ms Anne will be here with
- 30:25Speaker 1: our national news. You're listening to Steve Morning Show. All right,
- 30:31Speaker 1: I still want to do Shirley, okay, hospital I mean
- 30:37Speaker 1: I decided to change timey and not go as a
- 30:40Speaker 1: ninja turtle with no skills. Yeah. I don't want him
- 30:42Speaker 1: to go with that, Okay. I want him to go
- 30:45Speaker 1: as the turtle on the wax, Your turtle wax. Why
- 30:56Speaker 1: that's good? Yeah? That as opposed to a ninja turtle. Yeah,
- 31:01Speaker 1: because you don't have ninja skills and be the same
- 31:07Speaker 1: thing he's putting on them old ragged ass or pre
- 31:09Speaker 1: existing cause he got christ he existed. You know what
- 31:18Speaker 1: that now that fit? That's okay because when he got
- 31:22Speaker 1: the car, it already had a problem, pre existed. Yeah,
- 31:29Speaker 1: that's cute. I'm going to Roscoe. Yeah, yeah, I was
- 31:34Speaker 1: gonna say we're Roscoe Wallace gold Nuggets around seventeen. Change
- 31:45Speaker 1: a ruffle shirt, crushed velvet, bow tie, never tied? Is
- 31:50Speaker 1: it open down to the navel? Hell ya? Tuxed on
- 31:54Speaker 1: all him, change cold his head and you want pigeon toad? Right,
- 31:57Speaker 1: y'all walk pigeon. Okay, now that we have our costumes,
- 32:07Speaker 1: Happy Halloween everyone, Yeah, alright. NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy released
- 32:15Speaker 1: a joint statement from the league and if NFL Players
- 32:19Speaker 1: Association that said that they held a meeting to discuss
- 32:21Speaker 1: the ongoing protests during the national anthem. The statement said
- 32:25Speaker 1: the two parties had a productive meeting focused on how
- 32:29Speaker 1: we can work together to promote positive social change and
- 32:32Speaker 1: address inequality in our communities. In quote, the two sides
- 32:36Speaker 1: did not come to an agreement regarding the national anthem.
- 32:39Speaker 1: M alright. Colin wasn't invited to attend the meeting by
- 32:43Speaker 1: any official from the NFL or any team executives, his
- 32:47Speaker 1: lawyer said in a statement. Kaepernick's attorney went on to
- 32:50Speaker 1: say other players wanted him to present, and UH wanted
- 32:54Speaker 1: him present and have asked that he attend the next
- 32:57Speaker 1: meeting with the goal of forging a lasting and faithful
- 33:00Speaker 1: consensus around these issues. Mr Kaepernick is open to future
- 33:03Speaker 1: participation on these important discussions. You don't need to go
- 33:07Speaker 1: to nothing else. You know what Colin Kaepernick need to do.
- 33:09Speaker 1: He knows he needs to go to the next Brown's
- 33:12Speaker 1: training facility practice and just going the sideline and just start.
- 33:18Speaker 1: They ain't got to pay me. I just need you
- 33:20Speaker 1: to see what they thought throwing Yeah, you don't need
- 33:25Speaker 1: no pads or nothing. He got to speak to nobody.
- 33:28Speaker 1: He's just been a parking lot. They just starts sowing
- 33:34Speaker 1: so they can see what a damn quarterback look like. Yeah, Kaepernick,
- 33:39Speaker 1: you know, has filed a grievance against team owners. He
- 33:42Speaker 1: believes that are conspiring not to hire him because of
- 33:46Speaker 1: his protests. Were not conspired no more. In Cleveland we
- 33:50Speaker 1: come and so that's it. So you're speaking for the
- 33:55Speaker 1: Cleveland brand because they're stupid. Have they said anything regarding Kaepernick,
- 34:00Speaker 1: Steve and gang? Yeah, they should speak up. All right.
- 34:09Speaker 1: She is, without further ado, the very talented news anchor
- 34:14Speaker 1: for the Steve Harvey Morning Show MS and Trip. That's
- 34:20Speaker 1: a build up anyway, Good morning everybody. This is the
- 34:22Speaker 1: entwp of the news and I will get to it.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Let's talk about what happened in Maryland yesterday. Please in
- 34:27Speaker 1: Maryland say that a guy who opened fire in an
- 34:29Speaker 1: office park a little north of Baltimore yesterday morning has
- 34:32Speaker 1: been apprehended. That guy killed three co workers and wounded
- 34:36Speaker 1: two others. And officials say that this guy who identified
- 34:39Speaker 1: as Rade lab Prince, he's the suspect. He's the same
- 34:42Speaker 1: person they believe was involved in another shooting after the
- 34:45Speaker 1: Maryland killings. It took place about fifty five miles away
- 34:48Speaker 1: from Baltimore in Wilmington, Delaware. And that case, cops say
- 34:51Speaker 1: Prince shot a man whom he had some disagreements with.
- 34:54Speaker 1: I thought he said. That man was shot twice. He
- 34:56Speaker 1: will hopefully survive. Just the other day, President Trump said
- 34:59Speaker 1: this about a tenant agreement on a bipartisan healthcare bill
- 35:02Speaker 1: designed to retain Obamacare's insurance subsidies for the poor. It
- 35:05Speaker 1: is a short term solution so that we don't have
- 35:09Speaker 1: this very dangerous little period, including dangerous period for insurance companies,
- 35:15Speaker 1: by the way, for a period of one year, two years,
- 35:19Speaker 1: we will have a very good solution. But we're going
- 35:21Speaker 1: to have a great solution ultimately for healthcare. And they
- 35:24Speaker 1: are working together, and I know very much what they're doing. Yeah.
- 35:28Speaker 1: But the very next day, Trump changed his mind, saying
- 35:30Speaker 1: that he could never support something which he calls a
- 35:32Speaker 1: bailout for insurance companies. So sentiment art the Leader Charles
- 35:35Speaker 1: Schuman says, you know, it's hard to know which way
- 35:37Speaker 1: is up with this commander in chief. He's totally inconsistent
- 35:41Speaker 1: for it. One day against it the next day. You
- 35:43Speaker 1: can't govern, Mr President, You cannot govern a country. You
- 35:48Speaker 1: cannot keep America great if you don't know what's in
- 35:51Speaker 1: the bills and don't have a consistent policy about them.
- 35:55Speaker 1: GOP Santa Lamar Alexander and Democrat Perry Murray had hoped
- 35:59Speaker 1: to attract six he votes needed to avoid a potential filibuster.
- 36:02Speaker 1: Now they'll need sixty seven votes in order to override
- 36:05Speaker 1: and expected veto, and they're not expected to get that.
- 36:07Speaker 1: President Trump, by the way, insisting that a Florida congresswoman's
- 36:10Speaker 1: claim about what he said to a grieving widow of
- 36:12Speaker 1: falling soldier is wrong. Democratic Representative Frederica Wilson said she
- 36:16Speaker 1: heard Trump on speaker phone tell the pregnant, young widow
- 36:18Speaker 1: of a U. S. Army Sergeant let David Johnson that
- 36:21Speaker 1: her husband knew what he signed up for. Didn't say
- 36:23Speaker 1: what that congresswoman said, didn't say it at all. She
- 36:26Speaker 1: knows and she now is not saying it. I did
- 36:29Speaker 1: not say what she said. However, Johnson's mother said that
- 36:33Speaker 1: Trump did say that and she heard it as well.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Sergeant Johnson was one of four soldiers killed in an
- 36:38Speaker 1: ambush in Nijare two weeks ago. While the richer is
- 36:41Speaker 1: supposed to get richer, that doesn't seem to be working,
- 36:43Speaker 1: by the way, for the president. In fact, for his
- 36:44Speaker 1: magazine's list of four hundred riches Americans shows that Trump's
- 36:48Speaker 1: net worth has been reduced by six hundred million dollars
- 36:51Speaker 1: to three point one billions of the commander in chief
- 36:53Speaker 1: now has slipped from a hundred fifty six place to
- 36:56Speaker 1: two hundred place. I know you want to know who's
- 36:58Speaker 1: in the first place. Of course, it's Bill Gates. For
- 37:01Speaker 1: the straight year, he's worth eighty nine billion bucks. I
- 37:05Speaker 1: don't even know Nomon's went that high. The NFL has
- 37:07Speaker 1: decided to keep their national anthem, uh their national anthem rules,
- 37:11Speaker 1: which says the players should stand for the national anthem,
- 37:13Speaker 1: but they don't have to. And finally, today is dressed
- 37:16Speaker 1: like a dork day and we'll have Eugene the Butterfly
- 37:19Speaker 1: twenties after the hour, stay tuned to the Steve Harvey
- 37:21Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Hey, listener,
- 37:26Speaker 1: the ladies have some things that they're involved with. I
- 37:28Speaker 1: think it's very important for us to learn more about.
- 37:30Speaker 1: So ladies take it away, all right, Steve. Well, you
- 37:33Speaker 1: know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it's also
- 37:36Speaker 1: Domestic Violence Awareness month as well. And Carla, of course
- 37:40Speaker 1: is involved with breast cancer awareness. Uh, and I'm involved
- 37:44Speaker 1: with domestic violence awareness. Just to give you some stats
- 37:48Speaker 1: on what this really means and everything. It's hard because
- 37:52Speaker 1: these two very important, uh subjects dealing with women are
- 37:56Speaker 1: in the same month. So uh, in my twenties, you know,
- 37:59Speaker 1: like a lot of young women like that and older
- 38:01Speaker 1: women too, I was involved in a very violent relationship. Um. Yeah,
- 38:08Speaker 1: you know when I wrote my book. I talked about
- 38:10Speaker 1: it in my book and everything, and so you know,
- 38:12Speaker 1: it's just a subject that's very near and dear to
- 38:15Speaker 1: my heart, and especially with young women you know, in
- 38:18Speaker 1: college and everything. Stuff that doesn't get anyway. It's okay,
- 38:25Speaker 1: I'm no longer a victim. I'm I'm I'm fine, perfect,
- 38:30Speaker 1: I'm fine. Let me just tell you guys some stats, okay,
- 38:34Speaker 1: because this is a serious subject as far as women go.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Every nine seconds a woman in the US is assaulted
- 38:42Speaker 1: or beaten, all right, And estimated one point three million
- 38:45Speaker 1: women are victims of physical assault each year. Uh. And
- 38:50Speaker 1: this is for men one in seven men aged eighteen
- 38:54Speaker 1: plus in the US has experienced domestic violence in his lifetime.
- 38:59Speaker 1: One yeah, one and ten men have experienced rape, physical violence,
- 39:04Speaker 1: and or stalking by an intimate partner in the workplace. Uh,
- 39:08Speaker 1: domestic violence victims lose nearly lose a lot of paid
- 39:13Speaker 1: work time in a year because they're off because of
- 39:16Speaker 1: the violence and things like that. I mean, there's so
- 39:18Speaker 1: many stats, so so many stats. I'm a part of
- 39:21Speaker 1: the Alma Davis Foundation. When I read these stats, I
- 39:26Speaker 1: just it's mind blowing. It really is. It's mind blowing.
- 39:29Speaker 1: In high school girls and young women age sixteen to
- 39:32Speaker 1: twenty four experience the highest rate of intimate partner violence. Yeah.
- 39:39Speaker 1: So you can contact the Alma Davis Foundation dot org. Okay,
- 39:44Speaker 1: that's the information. If you want more stats, if you
- 39:47Speaker 1: if you're involved in this, if you know someone who is,
- 39:50Speaker 1: go to the Alma G. Davis Foundation and you can
- 39:53Speaker 1: get help and find out what you need now, Carly, October,
- 39:57Speaker 1: as we mentioned, is also breast cancer Awareness month. Yes,
- 40:01Speaker 1: I am a tireless breast cancer advocate. You guys know
- 40:04Speaker 1: I lost my mom to breast cancer back in two
- 40:06Speaker 1: thousand and four, and one case of breast cancer is
- 40:10Speaker 1: diagnosed every two minutes in the US, So my message
- 40:15Speaker 1: to you early detection is the key. This is about
- 40:19Speaker 1: your lifestyle, your your diet, nutrition, exercise, getting your mammograms,
- 40:24Speaker 1: self breast examination. We have to fight too in cancer.
- 40:28Speaker 1: It's a terrible, horrible emotional disease. It affects everyone, and
- 40:32Speaker 1: I want to shout out to the survivors. You all
- 40:35Speaker 1: inspire me. Go to my Instagram page at lips by Carla.
- 40:40Speaker 1: We will talk more about breast cancer awareness all month long.
- 40:44Speaker 1: All right, thank you you're listening to all right? Come on, Steve,
- 40:50Speaker 1: you and Junior are here to break it down. It
- 40:53Speaker 1: says your kid isn't doing a dang thing in school
- 40:56Speaker 1: when the teacher calls, Oh yeah, I've I've out nephews
- 41:00Speaker 1: got this phone call? When did you call and say, hey, listen,
- 41:04Speaker 1: I don't really want to be disrespectful, but it's best
- 41:07Speaker 1: if you just don't show up for the next pe
- 41:08Speaker 1: me And it's a waste of time. I thought they
- 41:13Speaker 1: like for the parents to be involved. What kid ain't
- 41:16Speaker 1: doing nothing? Hey listen, let's just save us all twenty minutes.
- 41:20Speaker 1: I got another family. I just don't even show up
- 41:23Speaker 1: for the next What are we even talking about? This boy?
- 41:30Speaker 1: But that ain't all I got one if you're seventeen
- 41:35Speaker 1: in the third grade, like how did he get here? What?
- 41:39Speaker 1: How did he get hit the big You don't even
- 41:43Speaker 1: fit in the desk. We just want to know how well?
- 41:49Speaker 1: I don't know truth, so I don't know what's grady
- 41:52Speaker 1: and show it. But it ain't a double ditch. I
- 41:57Speaker 1: don't know that much. Now. I saw some crayons in
- 42:01Speaker 1: the backpack. It ain't a double ditch. So your kid
- 42:06Speaker 1: isn't doing anything in school? When to teach your call? Wow?
- 42:13Speaker 1: I didn't really understand the question, to be honest with you.
- 42:16Speaker 1: Just want to teach a call? You know, the kids
- 42:17Speaker 1: ain't doing a damn thing. It's cool, you mean, just
- 42:20Speaker 1: make that phone call when you get that phone calling
- 42:23Speaker 1: on the other end. Quite a few yourself personally, I
- 42:28Speaker 1: was doing something you thought she was doing. So I
- 42:31Speaker 1: couldn't understand why everybody was so disappointed in sixty seven
- 42:37Speaker 1: that was your school? Yeah out of a hundred, yeah
- 42:41Speaker 1: you sixty seven. I'm going damn, that's an F he failed.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I didn't. Seven D is the cut of seven se
- 42:52Speaker 1: the D s your seven years to cut off? How
- 42:55Speaker 1: did I get a sixty seven? That's what we all
- 42:58Speaker 1: would like to know. You stop it said, I'm gonna
- 43:02Speaker 1: going to dast to cut off. How did I get
- 43:04Speaker 1: a sixty seven? And I tried? What? What class was listed? Lunch?
- 43:10Speaker 1: Damn the all of anything? But Jim Jim straight a
- 43:14Speaker 1: student athletic. Man, I'll get with it, you know. But
- 43:20Speaker 1: like you know, like math. If I got a sixty
- 43:24Speaker 1: seven in math and it wasn't but a hundred, why
- 43:28Speaker 1: are you failing me because you obviously didn't understand and
- 43:34Speaker 1: you missed a lot? Did you study it all? Did
- 43:37Speaker 1: you study it? Yeah? Study when at home? Right for?
- 43:42Speaker 1: I took your tip and then you supposed it's only
- 43:45Speaker 1: be fresh. Why would you study two days before and
- 43:48Speaker 1: then the information ain't fresh? Supposed to I knew what
- 43:51Speaker 1: I study. Yeah, you supposed to study up until the test.
- 43:56Speaker 1: You know, homework, it's called homework. Surely I did all that.
- 44:02Speaker 1: My homework was less than that. Oh, like that's unthinkable,
- 44:12Speaker 1: Like you ain't never got a forty two? To man,
- 44:18Speaker 1: how much red inc is on your And that was
- 44:22Speaker 1: another thing? Why are we mocking on this paper like this? Yeah?
- 44:26Speaker 1: What is the degrading me fault. That's not all that's ready.
- 44:32Speaker 1: That ain't really saying nothing for me. Just put a
- 44:34Speaker 1: blue X on it. Junior said, that's not education, that's right,
- 44:37Speaker 1: and it's not building up confidence in the student. It's not. No,
- 44:41Speaker 1: it's not what you should have got a tutor, Steve.
- 44:44Speaker 1: Maybe a tutor would have been able to help you.
- 44:46Speaker 1: Mean wait a minute, you mean get out of school
- 44:48Speaker 1: and go back in there, and go back in there. Now,
- 44:54Speaker 1: have someone come over maybe to your home and and
- 44:58Speaker 1: help you with your homework and stuff. I came home
- 45:02Speaker 1: to play. Yeah, now somebody coming over to do what understand? Yeah,
- 45:12Speaker 1: helping to teach you out teach me while I'm there.
- 45:15Speaker 1: A matter of fact, what I said about you teaching hello,
- 45:20Speaker 1: I thank you failing me as a teacher when I
- 45:23Speaker 1: go home and I don't know what damn thing? What
- 45:25Speaker 1: was we in here doing so you'd give your teacher
- 45:28Speaker 1: a grade of sixty seven? Are you this health? We got?
- 45:35Speaker 1: We gotta go. Coming up next, nephew Tommy's prank phone call.
- 45:39Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up
- 45:43Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, right about four minutes
- 45:45Speaker 1: after it's Today's Strawberry Letter. You do not want to
- 45:48Speaker 1: miss that. But first come on, it's the nephews phone
- 45:52Speaker 1: call his prankit. Before we get to that, can I
- 45:54Speaker 1: just say, I'm looking at the Twitter. A lot of
- 45:57Speaker 1: educators are tweeting us NA Steve. They Mr hot Tower,
- 46:01Speaker 1: he played it educator on TV. And no one could
- 46:05Speaker 1: exit the room like Mr hi Tower. No one if
- 46:09Speaker 1: you offended by wood was said, would you be the
- 46:13Speaker 1: professor that we are speaking of? If you throw around?
- 46:18Speaker 1: I don't understanding what is they trying to time? Mr
- 46:21Speaker 1: hot Tower, you just played education. You just he wasn't fictitious,
- 46:31Speaker 1: he wasn't real. I repeat, no one could exit the
- 46:35Speaker 1: room like Mr hi Tower. No one will bounce y
- 46:41Speaker 1: and Mr hi Tower his favorite word was very, very
- 46:43Speaker 1: very Yes. Boys, boy boy, you've provided us with quite
- 46:50Speaker 1: a bit of entertainment, right and so you know these
- 46:53Speaker 1: people on Twitter, But you weren't educator that was on TV.
- 46:57Speaker 1: I didn't. I didn't really didn't have enough education to
- 47:00Speaker 1: play the part of a TV technically, don't have the
- 47:05Speaker 1: skills to teach nobody. But you got folk books, eight
- 47:11Speaker 1: TV shows, one radio show, No no. The new when
- 47:18Speaker 1: they got me was how you spell man? Man? When
- 47:31Speaker 1: Shirley said, if you spell it, it'll automatically put the
- 47:35Speaker 1: line on top of it. Yes, I will. How many
- 47:41Speaker 1: times I've used ma'am since then? This week? Just to
- 47:47Speaker 1: use it M A A M and then it separates them.
- 47:50Speaker 1: Put that line on the apostle. Let's go prank call nephew,
- 47:56Speaker 1: got a surprise for us. Ain't crazy? What's your prank
- 48:01Speaker 1: about the doctor's visit? There we go, baby the doctor. Hello, Hello,
- 48:11Speaker 1: I'm trying to reach a Roger place. He's not here.
- 48:15Speaker 1: May take a message. UM, My name is uh Mark, ma'am.
- 48:18Speaker 1: I'm calling from the clinic from Dr Robert's office and
- 48:22Speaker 1: trying to get some information to him. When we do
- 48:24Speaker 1: you know when you actually begin? No, Actually I don't. Um,
- 48:29Speaker 1: is everything okay? Uh? Well you know everything is fine.
- 48:32Speaker 1: I mean nothing that cannot be handled. But um, we
- 48:35Speaker 1: were trying to actually get some information to him so
- 48:38Speaker 1: that he can actually come back in for the results. Okay,
- 48:41Speaker 1: Well I don't. I don't know when I can. He's
- 48:44Speaker 1: supposed to be here now. I'm not sure when I
- 48:46Speaker 1: can tell you're gonna be back. I'm sorry I didn't
- 48:50Speaker 1: ask you earlier. Man, who am I actually speaking with?
- 48:52Speaker 1: This is his girlfriend? Uh and your name is Jan? Okay, so, uh, Jan,
- 48:59Speaker 1: you don't you said you don't know, you know, you
- 49:00Speaker 1: don't have an idea when he'll be back. No, it's
- 49:03Speaker 1: trying to make me kind of get a little concerned though. No, no, no, okay,
- 49:07Speaker 1: I'll tell you what. This is the number that he
- 49:09Speaker 1: actually loved us to give him a call on his results,
- 49:13Speaker 1: and we're not getting an answer. I don't have another
- 49:15Speaker 1: number on hand. Do you have any specific time I
- 49:18Speaker 1: can actually call back and maybe I'll get him again.
- 49:21Speaker 1: I'm you're making my my stomach is getting nervous right now?
- 49:24Speaker 1: What what is? What is the problem? Well, actually you
- 49:27Speaker 1: know what it. His man is Mr Roger came in
- 49:30Speaker 1: for to take a few tests, and he took some
- 49:32Speaker 1: tests and we actually have the results in and we'd
- 49:34Speaker 1: actually really like for him to come back. Anything about
- 49:37Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt you, but I
- 49:39Speaker 1: don't know anything about any tests. He he hasn't told
- 49:41Speaker 1: me anything about going to a clinic or anything like that.
- 49:44Speaker 1: I see, So what kind of test are you talking about? Well,
- 49:48Speaker 1: I mean, Ma'm I'm not really not at liberty to
- 49:50Speaker 1: give you any kind of information unless you're actually on
- 49:52Speaker 1: the paperwork, So you know, it's not even something that
- 49:54Speaker 1: I can discuss unless the patient has signed off that, uh,
- 49:57Speaker 1: you are the next of kid or the person that
- 49:59Speaker 1: can that we can give the information to you do
- 50:03Speaker 1: I do? And I'm pretty certain, I mean the way
- 50:06Speaker 1: we operate in this house, So I'm pretty certain that
- 50:09Speaker 1: I'm on the paperwork. So would you please, um, we
- 50:12Speaker 1: pull up Roger stuff on computer here and I'll see
- 50:15Speaker 1: what I give me one second, please, Okay, okay, let's
- 50:19Speaker 1: see now, let me scroll down for next of kin. Okay,
- 50:22Speaker 1: I got a Janie. That is me. I mean everybody
- 50:26Speaker 1: called me jam, but that's me Jane. Okay, tell me
- 50:30Speaker 1: your name again. I'm sorry, what's your name again? Mark? Mark?
- 50:32Speaker 1: Like I said, I'm the clerk here at Dr Robert office,
- 50:36Speaker 1: and I guess I am at liberty to tell you
- 50:37Speaker 1: what's going on. Mr Roger came in and took some
- 50:42Speaker 1: STD test st D yes, and I guess at this
- 50:46Speaker 1: point I should just maybe both of you guys should
- 50:48Speaker 1: come in and wait a minute. Everybody, and everybody wait, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 50:55Speaker 1: I need you to finish what you were just saying, Well,
- 50:57Speaker 1: that's what I'm saying. Man, what has happened is he's
- 50:59Speaker 1: been diagnosed with UM as well as you gotta be
- 51:04Speaker 1: kidding me. You have got to be kidding me. I'm
- 51:09Speaker 1: not hearing this. I am not. Do you do you
- 51:12Speaker 1: understand what that means? Do you understand that he lives
- 51:15Speaker 1: in my household? Do you understand that that means that
- 51:18Speaker 1: he has been dipping somewhere else because I have been
- 51:21Speaker 1: not doing anything that would even come close to bringing
- 51:24Speaker 1: something to him like that. So it's how parent that
- 51:27Speaker 1: this man has been outside of my household and doing
- 51:30Speaker 1: when he has no business doing and bring it back in. Man.
- 51:33Speaker 1: I'm not I'm not at liberty to make any accusations
- 51:36Speaker 1: like that. I cannot say anything like that. All I
- 51:38Speaker 1: can say is I'd like for both of you. You know,
- 51:40Speaker 1: it'd be good for both of you guys to come
- 51:41Speaker 1: in because this is something treatable, it is curable. UM.
- 51:47Speaker 1: I don't care about it being treatable or curable. What
- 51:49Speaker 1: I care about is the fact that he apparently has
- 51:52Speaker 1: been somewhere with some trick and brought something back home
- 51:56Speaker 1: to my household. That's what I care about. I do
- 51:59Speaker 1: Understan saying that Mr Jannis, I do, but you have
- 52:02Speaker 1: to understand my position of what I'm trying to do.
- 52:04Speaker 1: I'm just trying to reach it out and and well, listen,
- 52:06Speaker 1: you happen to call my house sold you just happened
- 52:08Speaker 1: to have to be on the end, on the other
- 52:10Speaker 1: side of it. I am sorry, you're getting most of it.
- 52:12Speaker 1: But I tell you what what you need to do
- 52:14Speaker 1: is you need to make him an appointment and I
- 52:17Speaker 1: will meet him there. He will be wait wait wait, wait, wait,
- 52:19Speaker 1: wait a minute, wait a minute. I'm sorry. You need
- 52:22Speaker 1: to make him an appointment to come out to take
- 52:25Speaker 1: a look at these results you're talking about, and guests
- 52:27Speaker 1: who will show up at the door before he gets there.
- 52:31Speaker 1: I think next kid, wouldn't better for you just to
- 52:35Speaker 1: tell him what's going on. Since I'm you know, this
- 52:38Speaker 1: is the plan you need to give him. You need
- 52:40Speaker 1: to give him a call and to give you a
- 52:41Speaker 1: cell phone number. Okay, I got it. Okay, you call
- 52:48Speaker 1: him and set a twelve new an appointment. Trust me
- 52:51Speaker 1: when I tell you, when he walked through that door
- 52:53Speaker 1: and seize my face, he will know. Okay, M M J.
- 52:56Speaker 1: I'm not trying to create p let Mr Roger know
- 53:03Speaker 1: that we need him to come actually into the building,
- 53:05Speaker 1: could give to about the call. All I know is
- 53:09Speaker 1: you make that appointment. I would get there before he
- 53:11Speaker 1: gets there and his own I'm telling you that's how
- 53:15Speaker 1: it's gonna wrong. Do you understand me, Mrs ms Jas.
- 53:18Speaker 1: I can't allow any chaos to be going on in
- 53:21Speaker 1: the building. I cannot allow that because you're creating. Let
- 53:24Speaker 1: me tell you something. I don't care. I could care
- 53:27Speaker 1: less about what you feel about it and what you
- 53:29Speaker 1: can and can't do. All I'm telling you is you
- 53:33Speaker 1: called my I call looking for Mr Rogers. You called
- 53:39Speaker 1: his stud to be white. You know what correction correction
- 53:42Speaker 1: sud to not be white. I got one more thing
- 53:46Speaker 1: I do need to tell you, though, miss you know
- 53:48Speaker 1: what I can't deal with another thing. I swear to
- 53:50Speaker 1: God don't tell me anything out, but I do have
- 53:52Speaker 1: a Just make your appointment. That's all I care about.
- 53:57Speaker 1: You make your appointment, make your point. But I need
- 53:59Speaker 1: you to ask for somebody when you come to the clinic.
- 54:01Speaker 1: I need you to ask for one person and then
- 54:03Speaker 1: they will take care of you. Who do I need
- 54:05Speaker 1: to ask for us? Okay, you need to ask for
- 54:07Speaker 1: nephew Tommy from the Steve Harby Morning Show. Because that's
- 54:10Speaker 1: who I am. You just got branked by your husband, Roger.
- 54:16Speaker 1: You know what. Tell me, tell me, I listened to
- 54:23Speaker 1: you everyone I know. Oh my goodness, I am so embarrassed.
- 54:28Speaker 1: And wait till I see right. Are you all right?
- 54:32Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I am, I am. I'm done. I'm mad.
- 54:38Speaker 1: I can't believe you. I got I got one more thing.
- 54:41Speaker 1: I gotta asked, what is the baddest and I mean
- 54:44Speaker 1: the baddest radio show in the land, the one I
- 54:48Speaker 1: wake up to every morning, to Steve Harby Morning Show.
- 54:54Speaker 1: Stupid trying to tell you, all right, we gotta go.
- 55:00Speaker 1: Coming up next today Strawberry Letter. You're listening to the
- 55:04Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show, alright. Coming up next is today's
- 55:08Speaker 1: Strawberry Letter. You do not want to miss it. But first,
- 55:11Speaker 1: Donald Trump, our president, took a tumble on forb the
- 55:14Speaker 1: list of the wealthiest Americans based on net worth. He
- 55:18Speaker 1: felt ninety two spots to number two hundred and forty eight.
- 55:22Speaker 1: Has his fortune dropped six hundred million dollars to an
- 55:25Speaker 1: estimated net worth of three point one billion. Yeah, I
- 55:28Speaker 1: saw this. This is According to Forbes Now, which published
- 55:31Speaker 1: the latest list on Tuesday, the drop puts Trump in
- 55:35Speaker 1: a tie with twenty seven year old Evan Spiegel, the
- 55:38Speaker 1: co founder of Snapchat. In two thousand sixteen, Trump was
- 55:42Speaker 1: number one hundred fifty six on the list with a
- 55:44Speaker 1: net worth of three point seven billion uh Forbes. Forbes
- 55:49Speaker 1: said it calculated Trump's net worth by going through financial
- 55:52Speaker 1: disclosure documents, public property records, and conducting interviews with several
- 55:58Speaker 1: individuals to estimate his network. Shrump has claimed that he's
- 56:02Speaker 1: worth ten billion, but he's declined to release his personal
- 56:06Speaker 1: um tax records. As we all know, still no side
- 56:09Speaker 1: of those yet. Nine months into the presidency, of course,
- 56:13Speaker 1: Trump's fortune has dropped. He's been too busy making America
- 56:16Speaker 1: great again to focus on his businesses. Trump will surely
- 56:20Speaker 1: call this fake news. You heard right, The twenty seven
- 56:23Speaker 1: year old co founder of Snapchat is as rich as
- 56:26Speaker 1: our president. You got Snapchat. Yeah, so he only lost
- 56:34Speaker 1: six hundred million. He's still a billionaire. That's one way
- 56:37Speaker 1: to look at it. Do you be mad? What I mean?
- 56:41Speaker 1: You've got three point seven billion? And oh yeah, you
- 56:45Speaker 1: got attitude? Yeah it is. He's still some people that
- 56:51Speaker 1: the board ain't doing. He's still a billionaire. Six hundred million.
- 56:55Speaker 1: You got some explaining to do. That's a hard hit
- 56:59Speaker 1: man out six hundred millions. I never saw three quarters
- 57:04Speaker 1: of a billion if you only got three and somebody
- 57:05Speaker 1: takes six hundred millions. But you have a lot of
- 57:09Speaker 1: money to be able to lose that amount of money
- 57:12Speaker 1: and still be a billionaire, still be a billion How
- 57:16Speaker 1: do you make that work? You know, like you know,
- 57:18Speaker 1: just eighteen we're gonna be all right, we're still at
- 57:21Speaker 1: three point one where he is. See, let me explain
- 57:24Speaker 1: something deep. When the guy at the top take a hit,
- 57:27Speaker 1: people at the bottom take a hit. See, they get
- 57:30Speaker 1: rid of stuff from the bottom down because he's gonna
- 57:33Speaker 1: stay at the top. So lose six hundred million, some
- 57:35Speaker 1: people lose their job. He got his six other million
- 57:38Speaker 1: right back. Oh that's how it worked. And it doesn't
- 57:42Speaker 1: say how he lost it. Well, it's kind of a
- 57:44Speaker 1: conflict of interest for him to have all these other
- 57:47Speaker 1: businesses the president right, Oh absolutely, they knew that they
- 57:51Speaker 1: voted for. They really did reasons they voted for. They
- 57:53Speaker 1: didn't care because they thought he was a great business
- 57:56Speaker 1: man and he still is a great business man. And
- 57:58Speaker 1: they thought just by mere virtue of his business acumen,
- 58:03Speaker 1: he could run the country. I knew you were gonna
- 58:08Speaker 1: say that Steve his business. Now get the text and
- 58:15Speaker 1: if you won't to Mr hot at best he was
- 58:21Speaker 1: a music He's back on that right, all right? Come on,
- 58:29Speaker 1: take me to the letter alright? Subject not ready for this.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Pregnant by my son in law. Dear Stephen Shirley. I
- 58:43Speaker 1: am a forty seven year old attorney who was seven
- 58:46Speaker 1: months pregnant. I have three daughters that are grown, married
- 58:50Speaker 1: and have professional careers. My youngest daughter just moved back
- 58:54Speaker 1: home with her husband because they're in the process of
- 58:57Speaker 1: moving into a new home. One night, I was home
- 58:59Speaker 1: alone and my oldest daughter's husband came over to pick
- 59:02Speaker 1: something up for his wife. One thing led to another,
- 59:06Speaker 1: and we had sex. We repeated our actions several more times.
- 59:11Speaker 1: Close to our final time having sex, the husband of
- 59:14Speaker 1: my daughter that's living with me accidentally walked into my
- 59:18Speaker 1: room and caught us. This was one of the most
- 59:21Speaker 1: embarrassing moments of my life. My daughter and son in
- 59:25Speaker 1: law won't weren't supposed to be home. Nevertheless, my son
- 59:30Speaker 1: in law didn't tell his wife, and he said that
- 59:32Speaker 1: he didn't tell anyone else. However, he did approach me
- 59:36Speaker 1: to discuss this incident. I am shameful of what happened next,
- 59:42Speaker 1: but I ended up pleasuring him too. A month after
- 59:46Speaker 1: this incident, I went to the doctor and found out
- 59:50Speaker 1: that I was pregnant. I'm not sure which one of
- 59:52Speaker 1: my sons in law is the father of my unborn child.
- 59:56Speaker 1: My husband is already suspicious about my pregnancy because he
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: got fixed about three years ago. Steve, I don't know
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: what to do. I don't right there. I don't want
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: to break up my family. Uh. Too late, too late,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: too late. We can't help you. I mean, you've already
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: completely destroyed your family. You've already done it. And the
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: damage you've done with your selfishness, with your lust going
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: after your daughter's husband. Uh, it's gonna leave some lifelong scarves.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: I mean, really, how how could you? How could you
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: do this? I don't get it. Uh to your daughter's
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: two of them? Uh. I think you're morally corrupt because
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: you didn't just do it one time. You kept going
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: back for more. It kept going back for more. Even
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: one time is horrible, of course, but you wouldn't stop.
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: This is crazy did you Did you say you were
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: sorry for your path of destruction you caused? No, you
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: didn't even say one time in this letter? And how
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: are you at forty seven? An attorney obviously educated, but
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: not smart enough to at least use some protection so
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: you wouldn't get pregnant? Now you're pregnant. You don't even
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: know who the father is? Are you forty seven? Really?
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: I'm just so sorry that you're bringing a baby into
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: this mess. I mean, the best that you can hope
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: for is that God a bought of will forgive you,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Steve protection. Ain't even still what is your ass doing?
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: First of all, you said, I'm a forty seven year
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: old attorney. Let's just start. Just let off to right
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: your forty seven year old stupid attorney. You're stupid, You're stupid,
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: you're trifling, your raggedy What the hell were you ever
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: even thinking about? See this, when a woman really throws
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: me into something, let me ask you something. You you
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: got your this This daughter yours moved into the house
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: here and her husband because they find to get a
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: new home, so they wasn't supposed to be there. So
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: one day your oldest daughter, just the one that got
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: married first came over to pick up something for his wife.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: One thing led to another. We had sex. Let's stop
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: right here. What is the one thing that leads to
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: the other thing where you start to screw in your
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: son in law who is married to your oldest daughter.
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: What is the one thing that got said here that
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: led to something else to where y'all had said? What
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: is that thing that gets said? I want to know
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: what that is because I've yet to hear those words
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: in my life. So now I'm stuck right there. We
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: repeated I actually several more times. Close to our final
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: time having sex, the husband and my daughter was literally
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: accidentally walked in my room and caught us. I'm a
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: little curious about this too. How does a guy accidentally
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: walk in to you and your husband's bedroom? What grown
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: ass man breaches this no trespassingly? Do you understand me? Man?
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: I mean dull for real. So it's a lot going
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: on in this family. I don't get all that moving
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: back here. So what you're getting the new damn house?
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: You ain't coming back over here. But I ain't even
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: mentioned the fact and all of this is going on
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: while you have a husband. That's what's really the cold
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: part to me. Let me see if I can get
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: one more thing in him. I ain't got the time.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: I'm just starting to get the feeling here. Let me
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: just save it for the rest of it. That's how
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: I'll be back. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: Houston and Texarcanada are two newest affiliates family members get
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: ready to meet sister O'Dell in about twenty minutes. Wait
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: till you meet her. Oh lord, but come on, Steve,

- 1:04:14Speaker 1: tell his wife and he said he didn't tell anyone. However,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: he did approach me to discuss the incident. I'm shameful
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: of what happened next, but I ended up pleasing him too.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: The only thing I can say is how this conversation went.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Would look here, I might have to tell somebody, but
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: you know, unless you do me, I might have to
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: tell somebody. But one thing I got to get us
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: attorney credit fou she really know how to shut a
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: man up. This attorney is good at shutting me in
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: up because you got two son in laws just got
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: over there, just as quiet as they can be about this. Here,
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: I'm sleeping with my wife and her mama now with her.
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: You know you're pregnant, and you ain't sure which one
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: of your sons in laws is the father of the
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: unborn light It didn't matter. My husband is already suspicious
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: about my pregnancy because he got fixed about three years ago.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Your husband is a damn fool suspicion. Let me explain
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: something to you. If I get fixing there, my wife
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: get pregnant. What's what is weak and to be suspicious about?
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: I'm just letting you know how real folks have your
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: whole family dysfunctional? Up, then, let me just say this here.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: The third son in law has got to be sitting
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: there sucking. Is some just wondering pret is hit shot
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: after promised laying coming. He's sitting up there like here
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: on the sideline of a basketball okay, just watching them
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: run it. Now. My question is you grow a little bit?
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: You quit acting like an attorney girl? Well, I grow up?
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: What was this woman in this hello? Have you wanted
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: your daughter's husband's What the hell is wrong with you?
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: How much approval do you need to justify that being

- 1:07:42Speaker 1: e A to stop opious from flooding the community. Come on,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: come on off the tree right now. Hey, big up
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: for everybody standing up and saying sexual assault and sexual
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: harassment should not be in the entertainment business. Now. We
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: just need the Union sad can after to be a
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: safe haven for women to say this happened to me,
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: so we can nip it in the bud and my
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: right brothers and sisters again, let me tell you what
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: else we need to do. We need to join the
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: football players and let them know you have a right
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: to peacefully protests and should not be threatened with bitching
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: and losing your job because you are an American as well.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: If you want the football players to stand up for
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: the anthem, everybody got to stand up at the anthem.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: But you can't force me because that's what America is
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: all about. But don't threaten me for losing my job
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: because I bet you when you start losing because you
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: don't bitch the best players because they also have integrity
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: and patriotism, I bet you change your little rules. Where's
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: the lawsuit for the players agreement? What's up with that?
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: We need to get involved in that. You know something
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: huh has anyone ever read all of the lyrics to
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: the Star Space? Oh, it's a trip. The second Frances
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Scott Key was being guarded by some slaves and he
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: was a lawyer that was representative slave owners. Oh it's deep. Actually,
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: See it didn't become our star sprinkled banner until the
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: thirties to ninety The song was written and if you
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: read it, it glorifies slavery. Is now we only sing
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: the first part. That's the actual song. It's a hateful
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: song towards black people. Right, it really is right. But
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: see they hiding that right. But if you if they
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: knew the truth, the majority of people wouldn't stand for it.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: But now, and that's not to say anything about the military. Right,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: we are pro military. The every war they got, we
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: pro military when we don't even have our rights. I'm

- 1:23:05Speaker 1: I ain't eat no fishing, ain't cooking back chilly. No,
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: that's quite obvious. We we know I don't eat sushi.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: What would you like to go to Roscoe's Chicken waffles? Well,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: I go to Roscoe's which if you want to, yes, ma'am,
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: we'll go there. And you know I like the one
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: with you know, I want the waffles. I want an
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: extra butter though. Oh yes, ma'am. Okay, yeah, they get
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: your cholesterol. Y. I hope you feel why I got
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: to watch my cholesterol? So you want to get sick?
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: What so you want to get sick so I won't
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: get sick? Can you open your chest up and look
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: at your cholesterol? Ain't you already sick? Sister? Odell? We
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: we do have to run along now, Carlo's reality up
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: to it is coming up? Anybody knew they hadn't already? Yeah,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: they're not ready. Hand we have not. We have to
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: go since Rowdale. I'll make the dinner reservation. By you're
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Listen, you really
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: gotta respect Senator John McCain of Arizona. You really do.
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: We loved the speech. While receiving the Liberty Medal at
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Senator McCain gave a
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: fiery speech ripping into the idea of nationalism that President
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: Trump has champion. Though he didn't mention Trump by name,
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: he called he pulled no punches and criticizing the political philosophy.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: Take a listen, to abend the idea advanced around the globe,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: and our duty to remain the last over the hand
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: ethic people. He didn't mention name, but he made it
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: very clear because what he's saying that is that America
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: has to stay in the forefront on these policies with nuclear,
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: the deal with Iran, things like this. You know the
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: bill that he about, the clean energy, clean energy bill,
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: all this stuff, man, you know the other treaty. You
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: gotta he's trying to dismantle Obama. He just wants to
- 1:25:35Speaker 1: dismount of everything. And he thinks by dismantling Obama's legacy
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: that it'll make he is appear to be something. Dr
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: Field talked this to me, and it's so true. You
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: came blowing out my candle, don't make yours brighter. So
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: you abolishing Obamaca and repealing it, right, but you ain't
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: got nothing to replace it, rate nothing. So now you're
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: just killing the subsidies that help poor people get the
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: medical attention that they need. So you kill that all
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: because you said it was going to implode, but it's
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: imploding because you're rushing it. So now you don't do that.
- 1:26:18Speaker 1: You ain't got the tax reform being made. You're trying
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: to kill doctor man. This is stuff that he did
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: to make America great for real. So not a slogan
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: of let's make America great again. It's not starting to
- 1:26:31Speaker 1: sound like something else. It's starting to sound like, let's
- 1:26:34Speaker 1: get back to America the way it used to be.
- 1:26:37Speaker 1: Ye Reagan said that to make America great again. This
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: is unbelievable. But you know, I respect John McCain, so yeah, yeah,
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: they've always called him the maverick senator anyway. Uh. He
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: was introduced by former Vice President Joe Biden. Uh this
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: year's chair of the National Constitution Center, Senator McCain, you
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: know it was di use this year with an aggressive
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: form of brain cancer and has acknowledged that his prognosis
- 1:27:04Speaker 1: is not good. In case the Obamacare repealed votes didn't
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: tell you, McCain has declared himself an enemy of Donald Trump.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: McCain maybe one of the last true statesmen we have
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: left in Washington. When other senator, Republican senators and people
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: in Washington, uh don't agree with them, they don't speak
- 1:27:23Speaker 1: out like Senator McCain does. You know, they just when
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: they don't agree with the president, when they don't agree
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: with Donald Trump, they just tweet he put out about McCain. Though,
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: what do you say, which watch it? John? You know
- 1:27:36Speaker 1: I fight back. That's like, yeah, yeah, he it's just
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: mind boggling. I mean, the things he he chooses to
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: tweet about and talk about when there's so many more
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: important things to discuss. But he's just full of distractions
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: to keep your your mind off what's really going none
- 1:28:00Speaker 1: in the world, jump cages, jumping to look here, Fred,
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: you can pick a fight if you want to. But
- 1:28:03Speaker 1: I've seen a lot of presidents come got the presidents
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: go still here. Yeah, but I'm gonna tell you something
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: I've never seen. I've never seen the conversation that I'm
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: having about impeachment before, like this from his own party,
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: that there's rumblings. Man, I just don't know. Yeah, even
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: Banion said he has like a thirty percent chance of
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: completing his turn. All right, we gotta go. We'll be back.
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: Some jams, baby, some jams. You're listening Steve Hard Morning Show. Hey, y'all,
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: we're back. You know what, Let's change subject a little
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: bit because earlier we were talking about Halloween car. This
- 1:28:40Speaker 1: was crazy, and I think y'all need to hear this.
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: Check it out. I decided to change time and not
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: go as a ninja turt with no skills. Yeah. I
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: don't want him to go with that, Okay, I want
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: him to go as the turtle on the wax Your turtle.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Wh Why that's good? Yeah? That as opposed to a
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: ninja turtle. Yeah, because you don't have ninja skills and
- 1:29:11Speaker 1: be the same thing he's putting on them, old ragged
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: ass pre existing cause he got he existed. You know what.
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: That No, that fit because when he got the car,
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: it already had a problem that pre existed. Yeah, that's cute.
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: I'm going in Roscoe. Yeah what Yeah, I was gonna
- 1:29:39Speaker 1: say Roscoe Wallace, Nuggets, gold nuggets around seen change a
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: ruffle shirt, crushed velvet, boat tip never tied? Is it
- 1:29:55Speaker 1: open down to the name? Hell yeah, TUXI don't all
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: him change cold and you walk pigeontoad. Right, Okay, now
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: that we have our costumes, Happy Halloween everyone, Yeah alright.
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy released a joint statement from the
- 1:30:21Speaker 1: league and if NFL Players Association that said that they
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: held a meeting to discuss the ongoing protests during the
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: national anthem. The statement said the two parties had a
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: productive meeting focused on how we can work together to
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: promote positive social change and address inequality in our communities.
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: In quote, the two sides did not come to an
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: agreement regarding the national anthem, all right. Colin wasn't invited
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: to attend the meeting by any official from the NFL
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: or any team executives, his lawyer said in a statement.
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: Kaepernick's attorney went on to say other players wanted him
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: to present, and wanted him present and have asked that
- 1:30:59Speaker 1: he attend in the next meeting with the goal of
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: forging a lasting and faithful consensus around these issues. Mr
- 1:31:05Speaker 1: Kaepernick is open to future participation on these important discussions.
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: Don't need to go to nothing else. You know what,
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: Colin Kaepernick need to do what he knows. He needs
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: to go to the next Brown's training facility practice, just
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: going the sideline and start. They gotta pay me. I
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: just need you to see what they thought. Yeah, the side.
- 1:31:27Speaker 1: Now you don't need no pads or nothing. He got
- 1:31:29Speaker 1: to speak to nobody. He's just been a parking lot.
- 1:31:33Speaker 1: They just starts throwing so they can't see what a
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: damn quarterback look lot. Yeah, Kaepernick, you know, has filed
- 1:31:43Speaker 1: a grievance against team owners. He believes that are conspiring
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: not to hire him because of his protests. Were not conspired.
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: No more, we open come and so that's it. So
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: you're speaking for the Browns. You're speaking at the Cleveland
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: brand because they're stupid. Have they said anything regarding Kaepernick,
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: Steve and you and they don't want a damn game? Yeah,
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: they should speak up. You're listening to Steven Show. All right,
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: here we go, last break of the morning. Just one
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: more thing. The night at Thursday Night football, Kansas City
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: Chiefs at the Oakland Raiders. Why do you say that,
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: Steve Couse, boy, they playing ball, Oakland really playing ball.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: They had a little stumbling mishap. It's Carl Caine. I
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: don't know if Carl I think he's gonna come back tonight.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: Is he coming back tonight? Is it? As I thought
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: he was out for a while. Okay, let me let
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: me check that out. But the Chiefs though, man Dave
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: Daddy lost last week to Pittsburgh. But still that ain't
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: bad man one. But Oakland played Kansas City tough though
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: they play him tough, man him. So I'm from Cleveland,
- 1:33:03Speaker 1: I'm not We're not gonna win this year as Cleveland
- 1:33:06Speaker 1: won anything. No, no, because we won't hire Capping. Nick
- 1:33:14Speaker 1: I told you what he needs to do. What you
- 1:33:16Speaker 1: need to just go to the Browns practice tomorrow and
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: just start throwing, just in the parking lot, just in
- 1:33:24Speaker 1: the parking You're probably illegal for him to get inside
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: the walls of the camp, but just go out there
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: and start throwing while the players is walking in. Hit
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: him with passes. But Steve, he just can't show up
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: to the Cleveland Browns practice facility and just start. I
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: know he came. I'm telling you what he ought to do.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: Take a risk, Take a risk. Yeah, you took a knee.
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: Not take a risk going up there. You might end
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: up taking a job because we ain't got nobody. Nobody
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: has to take a chance. And a great player like
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: Colin Kaepernick, Damn Cleveland Browns. I agree. We passed on
- 1:34:06Speaker 1: Deshaun Wasson King. He killed us this past Sunday. He did.
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: We got these people out here, ain't nobody never heard
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: of We gotta run a rib and she was running
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: down a few times. I don't throw it to me. Wow,
