- 2:13Speaker 1: God doing y'all? Huh, what are doing? What are you
- 2:17Speaker 1: doing in your life? He's doing something, He moving, he working.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Don't lose your patience though, so I did that before.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Don't lose your patience. Don't don't. Don't get so sick
- 2:29Speaker 1: of waiting that you take matters into your own hands.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Don't do that. Boy, you're blowing it. Listen to me.
- 2:36Speaker 1: You're listening to somebody who's done it that way. I
- 2:40Speaker 1: had a dream. I had a vision. I had some hope,
- 2:43Speaker 1: I had some faith, I had some aspirations, but I
- 2:47Speaker 1: got a little impatient waiting on it. So I tried
- 2:50Speaker 1: a couple other things move it along. But I can't
- 2:53Speaker 1: tell you how I messed it up. Then I messed
- 2:55Speaker 1: it up. Then, because God gave me the power of decision,
- 2:58Speaker 1: what I had to do was then after I took
- 3:00Speaker 1: matters into my own hand, messed it up. Now, guess what,
- 3:05Speaker 1: He still got something from me. But now I gotta
- 3:07Speaker 1: fix all the mistakes. Now, I gotta straighten them out.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I gotta I gotta suffer some consequences. I gotta pay
- 3:13Speaker 1: for my transgressions, all of that, All of that, it's
- 3:16Speaker 1: gotta go down. You can't do something wrong and not
- 3:21Speaker 1: pay for it. It's you call it, calma, call it
- 3:24Speaker 1: whatever you wanna call it. Every action has an equal
- 3:28Speaker 1: and opposite reaction every action. If it just stays sunny
- 3:33Speaker 1: all the time, you might think it's cool, but there's
- 3:36Speaker 1: gonna be a reaction to it. Ain't no dark, ain't
- 3:38Speaker 1: no shade, ain't no break, ain't no rain. Gonna be
- 3:42Speaker 1: hard if it's your sunny all the time, vice versa.
- 3:46Speaker 1: So you need you need the opposite. You need the
- 3:49Speaker 1: darkness so you can get your break from that sun.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You need the rain so you can nourish the roots,
- 3:55Speaker 1: so that sun it can soak up the sun and
- 3:58Speaker 1: get the benefit of the sun. If you don't get
- 4:00Speaker 1: the opposite, you got a problem, man. And it happens
- 4:04Speaker 1: throughout nature, it happens throughout your life. Don't think that
- 4:08Speaker 1: you can do wrong and not have to pay for that.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Do you think this is man? We we think man,
- 4:15Speaker 1: because we'd have made a decision that we think is
- 4:17Speaker 1: best for us, and no matter how it affect nobody else,
- 4:20Speaker 1: we got the right to make that call. No, you don't.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Whoever is telling you that, whoever's misguiding you into the
- 4:27Speaker 1: gang life, telling you, yeah, man, you need to be
- 4:29Speaker 1: this a way to be down with us. I tell
- 4:31Speaker 1: you what, Get yourself stuck on chuck with that gang.
- 4:33Speaker 1: See how many of them be there for you. Oh,
- 4:36Speaker 1: they'll go around the corner with you and starts shooting.
- 4:38Speaker 1: But okay, when it's time to do some time and
- 4:42Speaker 1: they can lessen their centers, you're gonna get that time.
- 4:44Speaker 1: They're gonna point their finger dead at you. I watched
- 4:47Speaker 1: for eight hours all the time, man, I watched locker
- 4:49Speaker 1: up Raw all the time, all the time, man, all
- 4:52Speaker 1: the time. Ain't no real cold dudes out there, just
- 4:55Speaker 1: holding to the mantra and sticking to it. Even the
- 4:59Speaker 1: mob turns, stay side, evidence, go fed all that. Now
- 5:03Speaker 1: we are in the honor hood. We didn't created this
- 5:04Speaker 1: ignorant mess called no snitchet. With that hignorant mess, you
- 5:07Speaker 1: don't even understand. No snitching was created by criminals as
- 5:11Speaker 1: a code of honor. If you do dirt and you
- 5:14Speaker 1: get busted doing the dirt, don't bring my name up
- 5:16Speaker 1: if I was with you. That's a code of honor
- 5:18Speaker 1: amongst the thieves. Now, so many code of honor thieves
- 5:22Speaker 1: that then came out of prison. They ain't gotten no honor.
- 5:24Speaker 1: They've been bought that stuff back to the street. Now,
- 5:25Speaker 1: that's all in the neighborhood. No snitching. No snitching, You
- 5:29Speaker 1: got to be crazy. That's for people who disobey the law.
- 5:33Speaker 1: That's who people have made a code of honor amongst
- 5:35Speaker 1: themselves as thieves. Hey, man, if you get busted, don't
- 5:38Speaker 1: drag me down. What you just do your time. Oh man,
- 5:41Speaker 1: you can't bring that stuff out here to me. I'm
- 5:43Speaker 1: a law biden citizen dog. I'm trying to live right
- 5:47Speaker 1: over here. Man, I don't want to crack house up
- 5:49Speaker 1: street from my mama's house. I'm trying to do right
- 5:51Speaker 1: out here. Man. You can't do wrong and expect wrong
- 5:54Speaker 1: not to come to you. You got to make a
- 5:56Speaker 1: decision every day to do right. God ain't got no
- 6:00Speaker 1: protection you on dirt. You got what you got coming.
- 6:02Speaker 1: You made a decision. You go down there to get
- 6:06Speaker 1: some you might got get got see, we got to
- 6:10Speaker 1: come on. I'm talking to so many men out here
- 6:13Speaker 1: right now. I should have said that any me getting,
- 6:15Speaker 1: but my conversation kind of got away from me. I
- 6:17Speaker 1: was going to talk to you about something else this morning,
- 6:20Speaker 1: but did just only man. Because our communities, Man, it's
- 6:22Speaker 1: just going to the pot. Man, because it ain't nobody
- 6:26Speaker 1: can about nobody else. Don't nobody care when they see
- 6:30Speaker 1: that young dude over that doing wrong. Look at them
- 6:32Speaker 1: foods over that man, Go over there and talk to
- 6:33Speaker 1: one of them. Put them to the side. Man. You
- 6:37Speaker 1: might not be able to approach the group, but you
- 6:38Speaker 1: can approach an individual. Come in, young man, let me
- 6:42Speaker 1: talk to you. I saw you the other day. Man.
- 6:43Speaker 1: You look like you got something going on in your life.
- 6:45Speaker 1: What's happening with you? Let me talk to you. Man,
- 6:47Speaker 1: let me share something I learned I was doing what
- 6:50Speaker 1: you was doing. You know. It's like Tommy did a
- 6:52Speaker 1: prank phone call one time as a limo driver, and
- 6:56Speaker 1: the dude the prank was he called this limo company
- 7:00Speaker 1: to ask this limo driver to take him to this
- 7:03Speaker 1: location late at night, and the limo driver got a
- 7:07Speaker 1: young business he going, yeah, okay, I got you. I
- 7:09Speaker 1: don't normally work like that. But how long you need it?
- 7:12Speaker 1: He said for just by an hour. He said, well,
- 7:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to charge you for the full three though,
- 7:16Speaker 1: because a three hour minimum. Tommy told him, now, I
- 7:18Speaker 1: just need it for one hours. He said, okay, I'll
- 7:21Speaker 1: give you a break, young man. You're trying to do something.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Where you want to go? He gave an address. The
- 7:25Speaker 1: man stopped writing. He said, that's a bank. He said yeah.
- 7:30Speaker 1: He said, you want to go to the bank at
- 7:31Speaker 1: twelve thirty at night. He say yeah, And I'm gonna
- 7:35Speaker 1: be in for a few minutes. And when I come
- 7:37Speaker 1: out that bank, I need for you to flow it
- 7:41Speaker 1: that to do with the limo. He stopped writing. He said, ho,
- 7:43Speaker 1: hold on, hold on, man, you want me to take
- 7:47Speaker 1: you to a bank twelve thirty at night. You're gonna
- 7:50Speaker 1: be in there for a few minutes and you're gonna
- 7:52Speaker 1: come out and you want me to float it. He said, sir,
- 7:56Speaker 1: I don't do stuff like that. He said, you got
- 7:58Speaker 1: the wrong company. He said, what made you call here?
- 8:00Speaker 1: He said, hey, man, don't worry about that. You a
- 8:02Speaker 1: limo come to you just dry. He stopped and took
- 8:05Speaker 1: the time out. He said, young man, let me tell
- 8:07Speaker 1: you something. He said. I've been down before, I've been
- 8:11Speaker 1: locked up before. It ain't pretty. He said, that's what's
- 8:14Speaker 1: wrong with you young people to day. Instead of going
- 8:17Speaker 1: to get a job, trying to work your way, you're
- 8:18Speaker 1: always looking for some fast money. He's I'm gonna tell
- 8:21Speaker 1: you what I already know. Don't go down they're messing
- 8:23Speaker 1: with them people's money like that because they love that
- 8:25Speaker 1: money where more than they love you, and they're gonna
- 8:27Speaker 1: do something to you down now. Now, you stop this foolishness.
- 8:30Speaker 1: And I'm not caring you nowhere, but I'm gonna take
- 8:33Speaker 1: a little bit of time out to tell you something.
- 8:36Speaker 1: Don't go down here with messing with these people's money
- 8:38Speaker 1: because it ain't gonna go good. They're gonna take care
- 8:41Speaker 1: of their business where they come to that money. Tommy
- 8:43Speaker 1: kept insisting to this man to pick him up in
- 8:45Speaker 1: the limit. It was a playing phone call. But the
- 8:47Speaker 1: point I'm making is the man took out time. He
- 8:50Speaker 1: could just hung the phone up. But you know what
- 8:52Speaker 1: he's said, he's a hold up young man. Let me
- 8:54Speaker 1: hip you to something. Because the brother had been locked
- 8:57Speaker 1: up before. He said, no, no, no, I see I've
- 8:58Speaker 1: done that when I was young. Now I'm gonna stop
- 9:00Speaker 1: and I'm gonna take some moment out to tell you.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna here, working man trying to earn an honest living.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I ain't going back down now because I don't. I don't.
- 9:07Speaker 1: They make you eat what they want you to eat.
- 9:09Speaker 1: You don't want the food. You gotta get up when
- 9:11Speaker 1: they say get up. You gotta stay where they say stay,
- 9:13Speaker 1: live with who they say live. He said, man, you
- 9:15Speaker 1: don't want that, and he just tried to talk the
- 9:17Speaker 1: young man out of it. You can change a young
- 9:20Speaker 1: man's mind with a conversation. A conversation can change a
- 9:24Speaker 1: young man's man. Most of these young men that are
- 9:26Speaker 1: misguided ain't having conversations with real men. They just not
- 9:31Speaker 1: having them. And it's up to us who know what
- 9:33Speaker 1: manhood is is to start delivering the message. The problem
- 9:37Speaker 1: that we have in our communities we could solve ourselves.
- 9:40Speaker 1: It didn't escalated to a point because we who are men,
- 9:43Speaker 1: won't stop on our corporate climb and our day to
- 9:46Speaker 1: day making money and trying to ball out. We won't
- 9:49Speaker 1: stop and grab some of these young soldiers and tell
- 9:51Speaker 1: them the truth about manhood. That's the real deal. Okay,
- 9:54Speaker 1: so I went there. I don't know where they came from.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening, show, ladies and gentlemen, let's have it. You
- 10:04Speaker 1: know what I'm talking about, your undivided attention. Steve Harvey,
- 10:08Speaker 1: Marty show it live. When I say live, I mean L,
- 10:12Speaker 1: I V E. Live. All is for living, because that's
- 10:18Speaker 1: what we are. I it's for ignorant. It's what we're
- 10:22Speaker 1: gonna be. V is for victory. Is what we want
- 10:27Speaker 1: to win. Is is for everybody. Put that together. That
- 10:34Speaker 1: that's what's called ACONYL You know what I mean, that's
- 10:39Speaker 1: a that's an acronyl. That's that's that's a word you say,
- 10:43Speaker 1: but it acts like it's something else. I want to
- 10:45Speaker 1: call it an acronym. Yes, so yes, so let the
- 10:50Speaker 1: word be told and let what you're told be the word. Huh,
- 10:55Speaker 1: how that's girl. You better put to a church for
- 11:00Speaker 1: the preacher and the deacon be jacking him up, but
- 11:04Speaker 1: he don't really be saying nothing. I'm I'm gonna tell you.
- 11:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you about goodness. You want to hear
- 11:12Speaker 1: about goodness? Chocolate? It's good two words. Good means yummy
- 11:23Speaker 1: and next means it's all in a group. In the
- 11:32Speaker 1: words of my favorite poet of all time. Oh no, no, no,
- 11:36Speaker 1: not Angela mine or I ain't talking about Jamie Brown.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, who who is I'm talking about Tupac?
- 11:46Speaker 1: Come on, pastor Tupac. In the words of Tupac, I
- 11:55Speaker 1: get a round, you know, you know, tell me how
- 12:03Speaker 1: do you want it? Come on back. I'm preaching now,
- 12:08Speaker 1: preaching now. In the words of another great poet or
- 12:17Speaker 1: deacon Q. I used to be exact Cally Phone you
- 12:23Speaker 1: love yes words Jane Brown talking loud and saying nothing. Amen.
- 12:32Speaker 1: The church said yeah, Amen again? Oh what is the
- 12:41Speaker 1: correction you want? Sister caller early on announcements? What is it, California,
- 12:48Speaker 1: that's the doctor dre Amen. Amen? Oh really yeah? Well,
- 12:57Speaker 1: let the church say this right here in the words
- 13:00Speaker 1: of Roscoe Wallace, you don't know that you weren't there.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Charla Strawberg, good morning to you, Pastor Calin for real,
- 13:12Speaker 1: good morning. We got the best job in the world,
- 13:16Speaker 1: and everybody, yes, we do, Nephew, Tommy pastor, pastor, good morning.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I'm on fire to day. Yeah, good day, good day.
- 13:26Speaker 1: All right. Listen, Uh just everybody hang on tight for
- 13:29Speaker 1: this next story coming up at thirty two After the
- 13:32Speaker 1: Hour and Trending News the TV Newsacre says on air
- 13:36Speaker 1: that her African American co host looks like a gorilla.
- 13:40Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after. What what you're listening to? Show?
- 13:47Speaker 1: All right, Steve, this is one of the craziest stories
- 13:50Speaker 1: I've ever heard. In a segment that aired in on
- 13:54Speaker 1: Oklahoma City's KOCO TV morning anchor um Alex Houston I
- 14:00Speaker 1: think that's her name, Alex Houston apologized to her black
- 14:03Speaker 1: co worker Jason Hackett after comparing him to a gorilla
- 14:07Speaker 1: during a broadcast. Excuse me, what what did you say?
- 14:12Speaker 1: This aired on Oklahoma Cities. I guess it's co co TV.
- 14:16Speaker 1: KOCO Morning anchor Alice Houston apologized it was a racist comment,
- 14:22Speaker 1: of course. Uh. It occurred after the pair reported on
- 14:26Speaker 1: the story about a gorilla at the Oklahoma City Zoo.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Take a listen to this. Okay, you have to see this.
- 14:32Speaker 1: This is Finn. We're about to show. Oh my goodness,
- 14:34Speaker 1: you look at He is a resident of the Oklahoma
- 14:36Speaker 1: City Zoo and this week the zoo's eighth caretaker took
- 14:40Speaker 1: over their Instagram and we are all loving that they did.
- 14:43Speaker 1: And as you can see, Finn was fascinated. Definitely tell
- 14:47Speaker 1: us yea and yeah, kind of looked like you he
- 14:55Speaker 1: wouldn't expect a grade with it. Well, he didn't expect
- 14:58Speaker 1: to say, I don't think he was like, yeah, now
- 15:01Speaker 1: you thought he ain't no real he ain't back now
- 15:12Speaker 1: that newscast ain't no real black journalism school somewhere, and
- 15:19Speaker 1: you know, indoctrinated himself in Yeah, okay, what would a
- 15:24Speaker 1: real black person say? Then, a real black would say,
- 15:28Speaker 1: in the words of my favorite T shirt, don't let
- 15:32Speaker 1: your president get your ass? Who you talk? Who you're talking? Okay, okay,
- 15:45Speaker 1: don't let your president get your ass? Now, how do
- 15:49Speaker 1: you do that? Kind of looks like you ain't got
- 15:51Speaker 1: no secret service in you know, but I got monkey
- 15:59Speaker 1: for are you how do you think your mouth to
- 16:02Speaker 1: say that in this damn you feel to get a
- 16:05Speaker 1: silver back ass, that's what you felt. Just call your
- 16:11Speaker 1: brother down here, because I don't hit women. Get your
- 16:14Speaker 1: brother down here, that raggedy toothish heel billy and let
- 16:18Speaker 1: me go to work. Shut Yeah, you're fire. Break well,
- 16:24Speaker 1: she apolopologized that. What she just apologized. Yeah, okay, we
- 16:32Speaker 1: wouldn't have made it off. We would have been off
- 16:34Speaker 1: as so fast. Yeah commercial break right, Yeah, we got
- 16:41Speaker 1: the start back. Y'all said, Look, we got to start back.
- 16:45Speaker 1: We have to come on stack whipping people's ass. We
- 16:50Speaker 1: got to We took a break, and we took a break,
- 16:53Speaker 1: and everybody then got comfortable around here. We got to
- 16:56Speaker 1: get back to whooping ass. I think we've gonna have
- 17:00Speaker 1: to do something to remove the comfort level that's sweep
- 17:03Speaker 1: in the country. That's what Yeah, that's exactly what he means.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I just tried to say it in a mold, not
- 17:14Speaker 1: that I consider myself eloquent, but I just wanted to
- 17:19Speaker 1: say it to where somebody would feel. Man, these people,
- 17:25Speaker 1: but you know it's crazy, man, because this president we
- 17:28Speaker 1: got he just be fine off man, and we and
- 17:33Speaker 1: the ridiculousness of this hypocritical country is that we're trying
- 17:37Speaker 1: to act like this normal. Fox accepts it as normal. Oh.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Fox just worships the ground he walk on. They report
- 17:47Speaker 1: nothing negative on him. He can do no wrong. This
- 17:51Speaker 1: one Fox reporter that came out and fired at him,
- 17:54Speaker 1: and boy, he lightened him up on Twitter and everything else.
- 17:58Speaker 1: But every nine and then and then and then they
- 18:00Speaker 1: get Church Mouse quiet, and then they were mad. President
- 18:04Speaker 1: was mad at him last week, Steve, because they came
- 18:06Speaker 1: out with a pole that said Trump was trailing some
- 18:10Speaker 1: of the Democratic candidates and Fox a Fox. Yeah, yeah,
- 18:16Speaker 1: he was very upsetting the Fox. Yeah, there's some fishy
- 18:19Speaker 1: going on over there. Trailing. Yeah, yeah, he is trailing
- 18:23Speaker 1: in America now in his base, he's ninety eight percent approval. Yeah. Oh,
- 18:30Speaker 1: he the greatest thing since sliced bread. Because we have
- 18:33Speaker 1: an element in this country that's willing to accept anything
- 18:38Speaker 1: he says or does as decent or acceptable behavior as
- 18:43Speaker 1: long as they get to stay in the position and
- 18:46Speaker 1: make the money that they make. It's the first president
- 18:50Speaker 1: that they can say, oh my god, he's lock up.
- 18:54Speaker 1: But he's never done anything for them, Steve, What does
- 18:57Speaker 1: he ever? What has he ever done for No, not.
- 19:01Speaker 1: He hasn't done anything for anybody except the elite. Let's see,
- 19:05Speaker 1: that's the whole problem with this party that they've created.
- 19:11Speaker 1: They make you think, here's what they've done. And I've
- 19:14Speaker 1: said it before, but listen carefully. Immigration is so wrong,
- 19:20Speaker 1: gay marriage is so wrong, welfare is so wrong. And
- 19:27Speaker 1: what's the other big plug? One more to day abortion.
- 19:33Speaker 1: So now let me take you down the road of truth.
- 19:38Speaker 1: Rich people are Republicans that own farms, that own construction companies,
- 19:45Speaker 1: and own restaurants. They are the ones who hire the
- 19:49Speaker 1: illegals who are here, and they pay them below minimum
- 19:53Speaker 1: wage so they make a bigger profit. They're the ones
- 19:57Speaker 1: responsible for a lot of the migration across the border
- 20:00Speaker 1: outside of the people who want a better life. The
- 20:03Speaker 1: next person is guess what Conservatives are gay people too?
- 20:10Speaker 1: It ain't just gay people, ain't just Democrats. They're conservative
- 20:13Speaker 1: people too. But they welfare. It's more white people on
- 20:18Speaker 1: welfare and black people. Hello. And the last bit of truth,
- 20:23Speaker 1: guess what conservatives get abortions too? Case clothes, but they
- 20:30Speaker 1: run on that and put the Southern evangelical than Southern evangelicals,
- 20:36Speaker 1: all in order to all God, he's standing on what
- 20:38Speaker 1: God and principle. Now they're not. They all doing the
- 20:41Speaker 1: things there against and what they're really trying to do
- 20:44Speaker 1: is get your votes so they can stay in power
- 20:45Speaker 1: and keep making this money. That's the Conservative party view.
- 20:49Speaker 1: All right. Coming up next, thank you. Coming up next
- 20:51Speaker 1: to nephew in the building. Are you nailed it? Baby?
- 20:57Speaker 1: The nephew would run that brank back right at this
- 21:01Speaker 1: you're listening Dave Harvey Morning Show coming up at the
- 21:05Speaker 1: top of the hour, and entertainment News. We've got a
- 21:09Speaker 1: lot to talk about in entertainment news. As a matter
- 21:11Speaker 1: of fact, we'll get to it. But before we do that,
- 21:14Speaker 1: Nephew Tommy in the building, four, run that prank back.
- 21:17Speaker 1: What you got for is ne church fee fee, church
- 21:29Speaker 1: church feees run it can run, it can run, run
- 21:40Speaker 1: it can church fee. Thank you? Hello, Hello, I'm trying
- 21:48Speaker 1: to reach us to ray you got it? Hey? How
- 21:50Speaker 1: you doing? This is this is brother Glenn from the church. Hey,
- 21:53Speaker 1: brother Glenn, how you doing. I'm good, I'm good, I'm
- 21:56Speaker 1: real good. Did you enjoy service morning? Oh? I enjoyed it.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Pastor who pastor brought it down? Oh my god, that
- 22:07Speaker 1: was a word for me, right right, right right, So
- 22:10Speaker 1: with our old the pleasure this call, I wanted to
- 22:12Speaker 1: give you some information that the that the church has
- 22:16Speaker 1: come up with, and we wanted to let you know
- 22:19Speaker 1: what was going on before next Sunday. I didn't interrupt
- 22:21Speaker 1: you that, No, No, I actually I may sound a
- 22:24Speaker 1: little a little off a little bit. I'm trying to
- 22:26Speaker 1: get dinner ready for my little babies, my little darlins,
- 22:29Speaker 1: and I'm trying. Your voice sounds so familiar to me.
- 22:33Speaker 1: It just sounds so familiar. Trying to place place that voice. Okay, well,
- 22:36Speaker 1: you've seen me at the church quite a few times.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I think I have. I'm just trying to place it.
- 22:39Speaker 1: I can't place it right now, but looking at it.
- 22:42Speaker 1: What Nevertheless, I just wanted here's here's what's going on.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Uh now you aware of that for the last the
- 22:47Speaker 1: last six Sundays, you've been actually coming in the service late.
- 22:51Speaker 1: Have you realized that, Yes, I know, I'm sorry about that,
- 22:55Speaker 1: but uh you know, yes, I have. I have my reasons.
- 22:58Speaker 1: So okay, okay, well you're that's what's going on. The
- 23:00Speaker 1: officials at the church have gotten together and this is
- 23:04Speaker 1: what they've decided on, is that anybody who is late
- 23:08Speaker 1: starting next Sunday, there would be a fifteen dollar charge
- 23:11Speaker 1: for that for coming in and disrupting services. Fast fastest
- 23:16Speaker 1: tide of service being disrupted by people walking in late
- 23:19Speaker 1: that that could not come at a worst time. I
- 23:22Speaker 1: don't have fifteen dollars to give. I don't I don't
- 23:26Speaker 1: have it. Oh um, look, I'm sorry, I'm sorry that
- 23:31Speaker 1: we late. I am We are doing our best. I
- 23:35Speaker 1: have three kids. I have three young kids, two seven
- 23:40Speaker 1: and nine, and they are a handfool and and and
- 23:43Speaker 1: we do the best that we can to get the
- 23:45Speaker 1: church on time and and to tell your truth. When
- 23:48Speaker 1: we get there. It's doing praise and worship. I mean,
- 23:51Speaker 1: pastor ain't even preaching yet, so I know it's not
- 23:54Speaker 1: past it's not up yet, but he's he's stating that
- 23:57Speaker 1: people coming in. It just seems very disrupted the service
- 24:00Speaker 1: that's going on. That's so Nevertheless, like I said, this
- 24:03Speaker 1: is a warning call, you know, to let you know
- 24:05Speaker 1: that if you are late on next Sunday, then they
- 24:08Speaker 1: will be charging you fifteen dollars a lafe charge and
- 24:12Speaker 1: actually you won't be able to even come in you
- 24:15Speaker 1: until you pay five dollars. I can't even get in
- 24:18Speaker 1: church with we Look, okay, look I don't I don't
- 24:22Speaker 1: owe nothing. I don't owe you no explanation. But I
- 24:25Speaker 1: need to tell you something. We are me and my
- 24:28Speaker 1: kids for the last few sundays that we've been late.
- 24:31Speaker 1: It's because my car broke down. We are on the
- 24:34Speaker 1: bus man public transportation. Okay, I mean, and I understand,
- 24:38Speaker 1: I understand. I siviltize with everything that you're going through.
- 24:41Speaker 1: But why are you calling if you understand? How are
- 24:43Speaker 1: you calling me about fifteen dollars? If you understand what
- 24:45Speaker 1: I'm going through? Well I didn't I first part. I
- 24:47Speaker 1: didn't know what you would go. Why are you raising
- 24:48Speaker 1: your voice at me? Why are you raising? Did you
- 24:51Speaker 1: just raise your voice at me? You know what? You
- 24:53Speaker 1: know what? I think? You're raising your voice at me?
- 24:56Speaker 1: How dare you call me about this? About a feet
- 25:00Speaker 1: and I'm there at church. I got my keys in
- 25:02Speaker 1: there trying to raise them up is where they should go,
- 25:05Speaker 1: just like the Bible say. And you know why I
- 25:08Speaker 1: got to do this and why I'm late? Why why
- 25:10Speaker 1: we gotta tetch the bus? Do you understand why that is?
- 25:13Speaker 1: Brother Glenn? No, I do not. That is because they
- 25:16Speaker 1: to their daddies ain't and they yes, Tracy, you got
- 25:20Speaker 1: to calm down a little bit now. Oh Jesus help me,
- 25:22Speaker 1: Jesus help me, Jesus. Okay, listen. Uh. Here is all
- 25:25Speaker 1: I can do is tell you this. I hope you
- 25:27Speaker 1: can make it. Maybe you can catch an earlier bus,
- 25:30Speaker 1: you know what I mean, and get there a little earlier.
- 25:33Speaker 1: But but I'm just stating the fact that as of
- 25:35Speaker 1: next Sunday, if you come in late, it's fifteen dollars
- 25:38Speaker 1: late fee, and that's what you'll pay in order to
- 25:40Speaker 1: get in the service. You know what, Well, maybe next
- 25:43Speaker 1: Sunday I just won't be there. How about that. You
- 25:46Speaker 1: know I'm already worked in six days a week. The
- 25:49Speaker 1: only day I have off is Sunday. I've been baking,
- 25:52Speaker 1: breaking my back. Do you know? I worked two jobs
- 25:55Speaker 1: or two jobs, and they always trying to take money
- 25:56Speaker 1: out of my check, always trying to pull me here
- 25:59Speaker 1: and there, and I'm always tired. I get two hours asleep,
- 26:02Speaker 1: and then now the church wants to dump another fifteen
- 26:04Speaker 1: dollars charging me for being at church when that's what
- 26:07Speaker 1: I'm supposed to do. But you're coming in late though,
- 26:11Speaker 1: you know what? You know what, late ain't bad. Okay,
- 26:16Speaker 1: I might be delayed, but I ain't denied, and I'm
- 26:18Speaker 1: getting there the best way that I know how. For
- 26:20Speaker 1: the bus, I have to put my kids on the
- 26:22Speaker 1: school bus, and not only have to put them on
- 26:24Speaker 1: the school bus, and I have to get on the
- 26:25Speaker 1: bus to myself to work because I don't have a car.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Because they Daddy's ain't doing nothing nothing for them. Do
- 26:31Speaker 1: you understand what I'm saying to you? I need to understand. Oh,
- 26:36Speaker 1: Daddy number one, guess what hint? Daddy for two he
- 26:39Speaker 1: in jail, been there about five years, he ain't. And
- 26:43Speaker 1: Daddy number three he decided to go ahead and walk out, ain't.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I ain't heard from that that tent in about seven
- 26:51Speaker 1: months now. He know we're struggling. He had the nerve
- 26:53Speaker 1: to take my wallet too. You don't. You don't even
- 26:55Speaker 1: understand what I'm going through. You don't even understand that
- 26:57Speaker 1: I'm trying to make a better life for me and
- 26:59Speaker 1: my children. There is one more thing, Sister Tracey, that
- 27:02Speaker 1: the Church wants you to know before next Sunday that
- 27:04Speaker 1: you definitely need to know what one more thing does
- 27:07Speaker 1: the church want me to know? Best sixteen dollars. The
- 27:09Speaker 1: church just wants you to know that this is nephew
- 27:11Speaker 1: Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Your sister Patrese
- 27:15Speaker 1: got me to prank phone call you. I am gonna her,
- 27:24Speaker 1: are you. No, I ain't got time for that. No,
- 27:27Speaker 1: I ain't got time for that. Right, Oh, I got
- 27:32Speaker 1: something for her. How about that? Tell me? She said,
- 27:36Speaker 1: she said, my sister carpro down. She says, she got
- 27:39Speaker 1: these kids. She over here struggling and struggling, and she's
- 27:42Speaker 1: trying to make it, but you gotta give a hard time.
- 27:45Speaker 1: She just wanted, she wanted, she wanted you to put us.
- 27:47Speaker 1: She wanted to put a smile on your face. Well,
- 27:51Speaker 1: are you want being settled out? I'm gonna have to
- 27:53Speaker 1: say she did. Okay, right, Wow, Now that I know
- 27:58Speaker 1: you y'all were joking and now I know this is
- 28:00Speaker 1: nephew Tommy. Hey, I gotta ask you something, Baby, what's
- 28:06Speaker 1: the baddest and I mean the baddest radio show in
- 28:08Speaker 1: the land. That's Steve Harvid Morning Show. Baby, you know
- 28:20Speaker 1: crazy is always yeah, hur fens baby, the Nephew on
- 28:28Speaker 1: this Way to be That's the Blues and Jazz Supper
- 28:29Speaker 1: Club I will be there this Friday, two shows, Friday,
- 28:32Speaker 1: two Saturday. Thinkers don't see he got a couple more level.
- 28:35Speaker 1: But I'm just about then. I'm almost. I ain't there. Yeah,
- 28:39Speaker 1: it's a five hundred seat. I got four shows. I'm
- 28:41Speaker 1: almost there, but I ain't there. Yeah, but I'm talking
- 28:43Speaker 1: about it. I bet I'll beat there tomorrow. I bet
- 28:45Speaker 1: you that. I like the fact that after you eat
- 28:49Speaker 1: and after you've been in the blues, yeah, then they
- 28:53Speaker 1: give you some damp coming. Yeah, baby, better mean and
- 28:57Speaker 1: a barbiturate on the same night. I want to go too,
- 29:08Speaker 1: I want yeah, I want to go ahead. I gotta
- 29:10Speaker 1: do that, all right. Coming up, thank you, nephew. Coming
- 29:13Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, entertainment and national news.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to the stahow and Today's
- 29:22Speaker 1: entertainment news. Well, today would have been King of Pop
- 29:25Speaker 1: Michael Jackson's sixty first birthday and his Yeah. His nineteen
- 29:31Speaker 1: eighty two album Thriller remains the best selling album in history,
- 29:34Speaker 1: with sixty five count them sixty five million copies sold.
- 29:39Speaker 1: This album scored thirteen Grammy Awards and, having thirteen songs,
- 29:44Speaker 1: reached up number one on the US charts. Wow. Yeah,
- 29:49Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Yeah King, greatest, greatest entertainer to Everlil Wow
- 29:59Speaker 1: and that damn Michael Jackson boy yeah man. Speaking of Michael,
- 30:04Speaker 1: his little sister Janet made some big money during this
- 30:07Speaker 1: year's Metamorphosis residency. Billboard reports that began July twenty fourth
- 30:15Speaker 1: and August seventeenth, her shows at the Park Theater gross
- 30:18Speaker 1: eight point nine million dollars. Wow, whoa I got to
- 30:23Speaker 1: call Janet Jane doing it? Oh? No, no, damn Janet stop.
- 30:31Speaker 1: I hosted the birthday party in Vegas first weekend of
- 30:36Speaker 1: the residency of what you You're the only person that qualified?
- 30:40Speaker 1: Hold everybody else actress and asked us comedians, and you
- 30:43Speaker 1: the only one. I hosted it. Man, I'm just telling
- 30:46Speaker 1: you party. No, I was not there, Steve only one.
- 30:53Speaker 1: I ain't saying nobody believe you. I just asked, what
- 30:56Speaker 1: staydare I'm now little Kim now Fingerin' star studed and
- 31:02Speaker 1: you were there? But start huh yeah, star study He
- 31:08Speaker 1: said he was there, and loul king, that's all he
- 31:10Speaker 1: had said. Where you see star study there? Well, a
- 31:14Speaker 1: little Kim Doug, you fresh Rapp. Everybody had pictures with
- 31:23Speaker 1: Janet but guess who nephew, Tommy Pure with Janet. I
- 31:27Speaker 1: got some pictures, Yes, a photo shop drinking the cool
- 31:35Speaker 1: saw how tall he was standing next to her, and
- 31:40Speaker 1: I thought that was a little boy taking a picture.
- 31:42Speaker 1: That's not for real. Turner so tall in that picture.
- 31:47Speaker 1: But if you look at the picture, you look like
- 31:49Speaker 1: Tommy dangling in the air. Anyway, bad photo shop. As
- 31:54Speaker 1: I was saying, she grows eight point nine million now,
- 31:58Speaker 1: adding that to her early run, Janet sold thirteen million
- 32:02Speaker 1: dollars worth of tickets, and on a daily basis, if
- 32:05Speaker 1: you break it down, Janet averaged about seven hundred and
- 32:07Speaker 1: twenty two thousand dollars and over four thousand tickets a night,
- 32:12Speaker 1: better than the first Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes yeah.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Nicole Murphy was there. I'll get quiet. Of course, we're
- 32:24Speaker 1: trying to help you. Shit shit damn mow. That means
- 32:32Speaker 1: she made more than Celine Dion and Britney Spears. Uh wow.
- 32:38Speaker 1: Another entertainment news on Becky, actress Lori Laughlin and her husband,
- 32:42Speaker 1: fashion designer Massimo are willing to go down together for
- 32:47Speaker 1: their alleged involvement in the USC college admission scandal. The
- 32:50Speaker 1: couple appeared in a Boston court to waive their rights
- 32:53Speaker 1: to separate attorneys. Sources say they tell People Magazine actually
- 32:57Speaker 1: that they're being represented by attorneys from the same law
- 33:00Speaker 1: firm in order to put forth a united front. They
- 33:04Speaker 1: ain't going to jail. Some lawyers say that's a good state,
- 33:07Speaker 1: separate prison, that's a great strategy. They're aspend to go
- 33:11Speaker 1: to jail. They can make twenty years each, Steve, twenty
- 33:14Speaker 1: years each. But we gotta get to today. Felicity, Felicity
- 33:19Speaker 1: did so you sorry, you little slap on the risk
- 33:22Speaker 1: and going four months to go to court. They're gonna
- 33:25Speaker 1: make example out. Yeah you think south, Steve. Some lawyers
- 33:29Speaker 1: say it's good strategy, and then others I don't think
- 33:31Speaker 1: they're what Steve said, all right, we gotta go, Steve.
- 33:34Speaker 1: Let's get to the headline. Ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne Trip,
- 33:39Speaker 1: thank you, Steve. Morning, everybody. This is entered with the News.
- 33:41Speaker 1: And here they are. British Prime Minister Bars Johnson's desire
- 33:44Speaker 1: to actually suspend Parliament has been okayed by the Queen.
- 33:48Speaker 1: So now Johnson's maneuver gives lawmakers over there who opposed
- 33:51Speaker 1: Brexit very little time to push back. Johnson's political opponents
- 33:54Speaker 1: up in arms, describing the situation as a constitutional outrage
- 33:58Speaker 1: never seen in the UK's Democrats before Britain schedule to
- 34:01Speaker 1: leave European Union by October thirty. First tropical storm Dorian
- 34:05Speaker 1: upgraded to a hurricane Dorian yesterday, so now with at
- 34:08Speaker 1: least seventy five mile now wins. Dennis Falcon of the
- 34:11Speaker 1: National Hurricane Center says Dorian reached hurricane strength and continues
- 34:15Speaker 1: moving northwest through the Caribbean, getting stronger as it goes.
- 34:18Speaker 1: With the warm tropical waters and low wind shear ahead
- 34:21Speaker 1: of it. During the next couple of days. It's got
- 34:23Speaker 1: ample time and ample distance to grow into a major
- 34:27Speaker 1: hurricane which could threaten the southeastern United States by the
- 34:30Speaker 1: latter part of the weekend. Looks like Puerto Rico and
- 34:32Speaker 1: the Virgin Islands though dodge the bullet. They just got
- 34:34Speaker 1: a lot of rain, not a lot of damage. Doring
- 34:37Speaker 1: is expected to make landfall now somewhere along the southeast
- 34:39Speaker 1: coast between the tip of Florida and Georgia and South
- 34:42Speaker 1: Carolina somewhere along there, and states of emergency have been
- 34:45Speaker 1: declared in both Florida and Puerto Rico. However, but again
- 34:48Speaker 1: Puerto Rico dodged the bullet. They were ready and they
- 34:51Speaker 1: just got a lot of rain. So lucky for them.
- 34:52Speaker 1: They had a really hard time a couple of years
- 34:54Speaker 1: ago with Maria. Looks like Federal Emergency Agency or FEMA,
- 34:58Speaker 1: is about to transfer one hundred and fifty five million
- 35:01Speaker 1: dollars in funds to support President Trump's border wall and
- 35:05Speaker 1: detention plans. The Department of Homeland Security says it'll move
- 35:08Speaker 1: that amount of money to use at the border. The
- 35:10Speaker 1: folks at Homeland Security say they want the money to
- 35:12Speaker 1: use for new beds and other things and detention facilities.
- 35:15Speaker 1: North Carolina Supreme courtsmen hearing arguments this week on racial
- 35:18Speaker 1: bias and death penalty cases. One at death penalty trial,
- 35:21Speaker 1: the prosecutor actually described the black defendant as quote a
- 35:24Speaker 1: big black bull. Another case, a black juror was excluded
- 35:27Speaker 1: because prosecutors say he drank alcohol and called him a
- 35:30Speaker 1: black whino, while a white man who said he drank
- 35:33Speaker 1: was called an okay country boy. New York Senator Kirsten Jillibrand,
- 35:37Speaker 1: I first, he took her hat out of the ring
- 35:38Speaker 1: yesterday for President. I know this isn't the result. We wanted.
- 35:41Speaker 1: We wanted to win this race. But it's important to
- 35:44Speaker 1: know when it's not your time and to know how
- 35:47Speaker 1: you can best serve your community and country. I believe
- 35:51Speaker 1: I can best serve by helping to unite us to
- 35:53Speaker 1: beat Donald Trump. In twenty twenty, the fifty two year
- 35:56Speaker 1: old senator had not qualified for the next debate or
- 35:58Speaker 1: withdrawal still leaves twenty the active Democrats in the primary.
- 36:01Speaker 1: And today is national Eat. Oh you want day? Yes, glorious.
- 36:11Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Boarding Morning. You're listening
- 36:15Speaker 1: to Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, so Steve, everyone's
- 36:19Speaker 1: talking about Dave Chappelle's Netflix comedy special. It's called Sticking Stones.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Have you seen you? Ain't seen it on? Cedric. Cedric
- 36:32Speaker 1: the entertainer posted on his Instagram page that Dave Chappelle
- 36:36Speaker 1: is one of the best to ever do it. Take
- 36:38Speaker 1: a listen to Dave talk about the opioid drug crisis
- 36:41Speaker 1: in America. Here we go. This opioid crisis is a crisis.
- 36:45Speaker 1: I see it every day. It's as bad as they say.
- 36:48Speaker 1: It's ruining lives, it's destroying families. Samy, you know what
- 36:53Speaker 1: it reminds me. I'm seeing it reminds me of us.
- 36:58Speaker 1: These white folks look exact acting like us during the
- 37:01Speaker 1: crack accidemic. It's wild because I even have insight into
- 37:07Speaker 1: how the white community must have felt watching the black
- 37:10Speaker 1: community go through the scores of crack. Because I don't
- 37:14Speaker 1: care either hanging there. Whites just say no, what's so
- 37:21Speaker 1: hard about that? Us? I agree, the us hanging there,
- 37:35Speaker 1: just just say no, what's hard about that? You can
- 37:40Speaker 1: check out Dave Chappelle's comedy special on Netflix is called
- 37:44Speaker 1: Sticks and Stones. Save you guys, your friends, right you
- 37:52Speaker 1: on the end of a documentary. You're on the end
- 37:54Speaker 1: of it. They got they got a picture with him,
- 37:57Speaker 1: Dave Chappelle and Chris Tuffer. We all too, Yeah, really, yeah,
- 38:05Speaker 1: that's my dog. Man. Yeah, I'm gonna check him out.
- 38:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna I'm gonna check him out. Then I'm gonna
- 38:10Speaker 1: call him man. Oh yeah. We're gonna be holling up.
- 38:14Speaker 1: But they say, I'm gonna tell you man. One of
- 38:16Speaker 1: the great moments, man huh was in the White House,
- 38:20Speaker 1: but we didn't have cameras, and we were standing there
- 38:23Speaker 1: looking at each other, was me, him and Chris Rock
- 38:28Speaker 1: and we was looking at each other, we said, man,
- 38:30Speaker 1: we need a camera. Where is Al Roker when you
- 38:33Speaker 1: need him? In the bathrooms? Al Roker keeps his camera
- 38:40Speaker 1: after White House where he ain't going back up there?
- 38:42Speaker 1: No more sense Obama House. Yeah, a matter of fact,
- 38:47Speaker 1: I ain't going back. Yeah, that was my last time
- 38:53Speaker 1: at the White House when Obama was up there. Steve,
- 38:56Speaker 1: we haven't heard. I haven't asked you this question in
- 38:58Speaker 1: quite some time, but uh, in a few seconds we
- 39:01Speaker 1: have left. I just want to ask you. See what
- 39:03Speaker 1: you say, Um, what are the chances you think of
- 39:06Speaker 1: us having another black president anytime soon? Well? I got
- 39:13Speaker 1: ten seconds to say this. Let's say it. Oh, when
- 39:19Speaker 1: a monkey can slang a banana peel up on the moon?
- 39:24Speaker 1: The moon? That monkey? Is that? Your final answer? Coming
- 39:33Speaker 1: up in thirty four minutes after the hour, more foolishness
- 39:36Speaker 1: with fill in the blank with Steve Harvey coming up
- 39:39Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening to all right, So Steve,
- 39:45Speaker 1: your nephew, came up with a fun new segment for you.
- 39:48Speaker 1: Come on, tell me what you got. I got a
- 39:51Speaker 1: new segment called fill in the blank, Steve, fill in
- 39:54Speaker 1: the blank, so I know what I'm saying. Yeah, I
- 39:58Speaker 1: start the sentence off, and then I I stopped hunking you,
- 40:00Speaker 1: feeling you speeling the blank? All right, all right, I'm ready.
- 40:04Speaker 1: I spend way too much money on my wife. You

- 54:15Speaker 1: Breath's assistant. Wow, yeah, Boo Boo Breath's assistant is the subject.
- 54:21Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I recently started a new position as
- 54:25Speaker 1: an assistant to the office manager. On my first day
- 54:28Speaker 1: at work, I noticed that everyone in the office was
- 54:31Speaker 1: looking at me and whispering. I thought that they were
- 54:34Speaker 1: just checking me out because I was a new girl.
- 54:37Speaker 1: Silly me. When my boss got in, I went and
- 54:40Speaker 1: greeted him. Everyone was still looking at me, but now
- 54:43Speaker 1: they were laughing. And then it happened. The odor that
- 54:49Speaker 1: came out of my boss's mouth Dartner knocked me out.
- 54:55Speaker 1: It smelled like a baby's diaper and it hit me
- 54:58Speaker 1: across my face and I almost passed out. I realized
- 55:02Speaker 1: why my co workers were laughing. One of the ladies
- 55:08Speaker 1: she was laughing so hard she had tears in her eyes. Afterwards,
- 55:12Speaker 1: they said they were waiting for my reactions. They knew
- 55:16Speaker 1: I wasn't ready. It's been two weeks now and I
- 55:19Speaker 1: literally cry in my car before going in to work.
- 55:23Speaker 1: I have to be closed up in his office and
- 55:25Speaker 1: meetings every day, and I've tried offering mints and or gum,
- 55:30Speaker 1: but he declines every time. Ah. I really love my job,
- 55:35Speaker 1: but his breath makes it impossible. We have an off
- 55:40Speaker 1: site meeting in a couple of weeks and he suggested
- 55:42Speaker 1: that me and a couple of our teammates ride with him.
- 55:46Speaker 1: So now the teammates want me to be the one
- 55:49Speaker 1: to address this issue with him. They have chosen me
- 55:52Speaker 1: to tell him that his breath smells like boo boo.
- 55:55Speaker 1: My husband said that I should just breathe through my
- 55:58Speaker 1: mouth when I'm in his presence. He said, my co
- 56:01Speaker 1: workers are setting me up because I'm the new girl
- 56:03Speaker 1: at the office. Since I'm always in his face. I
- 56:06Speaker 1: feel like I should go ahead and say something, or
- 56:09Speaker 1: should I wait until I develop a better relationship with him?
- 56:12Speaker 1: What should I do? Please? Please help me. Wow, this
- 56:17Speaker 1: is funky. This is a funky situation right here. You're
- 56:20Speaker 1: absolutely right, and you love your job. You are the
- 56:23Speaker 1: new girl. I mean, what a bad position to be in.
- 56:27Speaker 1: You're the new kids. You're kind of darned if you do,
- 56:29Speaker 1: darned if you don't. Your husband may be right. They
- 56:32Speaker 1: could be setting you up because they've been there all
- 56:35Speaker 1: this time and they've had time to say something to him,
- 56:38Speaker 1: and they haven't. They haven't done anything. His breath still
- 56:42Speaker 1: smells like booboo. But your husband's advice to just breathe
- 56:45Speaker 1: through your mouth, I don't think that's gonna work either.
- 56:48Speaker 1: I mean, you got to live too. You probably will
- 56:51Speaker 1: have to find a way to tell him because you
- 56:53Speaker 1: work the closest with him. I mean, you can't just
- 56:56Speaker 1: go to his face and say your breath smells like
- 56:58Speaker 1: boo boo and he's your employer. I mean, it's not
- 57:02Speaker 1: what you say, it's it's it's how you say what
- 57:04Speaker 1: you say. So you I mean you've offered him mint.
- 57:08Speaker 1: You've offered him and got him gum. Uh. Everybody knows
- 57:11Speaker 1: that when somebody offers you a man or offers you gum,
- 57:14Speaker 1: that you should take it. Everybody knows that either they're
- 57:18Speaker 1: trying to tell you something or be polite. All right,
- 57:20Speaker 1: So you gotta find a way to just I don't know.
- 57:24Speaker 1: You gotta say it to your boss. Listen. You gotta
- 57:27Speaker 1: say something. You have to. You cannot let this go on.
- 57:31Speaker 1: You gotta say something. Listen, I just wanted to tell you, Uh,
- 57:35Speaker 1: maybe we should go to the dentist together. Or when's
- 57:37Speaker 1: the last time you've gone to the dentist something. You
- 57:39Speaker 1: gotta say something, Steve help me out here. Yeah, see, Shirley,
- 57:43Speaker 1: you don't you don't do good it. Let us like
- 57:45Speaker 1: this because see you two. Can you try not to? Yeah, yeah,
- 57:52Speaker 1: I'm I'm here for the each type letters. Now what
- 57:55Speaker 1: you say, oh see boo boo breaths, sister right here,
- 58:01Speaker 1: that term is too loose. It's too kid. You. The
- 58:05Speaker 1: first day, all your office workers is looking at your whispering.
- 58:08Speaker 1: You thought they was checking, y'all cause you knew and
- 58:11Speaker 1: on silly me. When a new boss got in and
- 58:14Speaker 1: I greeted him, everybody was still looking at me, and
- 58:17Speaker 1: now they're laughing. And then it happened. The odor that

- 59:36Speaker 1: could have told, yes, y'all knew good in hell what
- 59:40Speaker 1: ill fitting to walk up into. And I'll be damn
- 59:42Speaker 1: if you sit there and giggle at me when you
- 59:44Speaker 1: know what just happened. And then your ignorant ass husband
- 59:47Speaker 1: talking about breathe through your mouth. You can't breathe through
- 59:50Speaker 1: your mouth. You need your taste, bud. That's why. To

- 1:01:43Speaker 1: who recommended you nothing. Who you standing there? You just
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: put your eyelashes on? Who is strong? Steve? You had
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: just put them damn yeah now here. You don't know
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: what that is on your face? You think a bugged

- 1:02:17Speaker 1: What if you give a president when somebody breaths, tain't
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: that bad offering the mint? You know why they don't
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: never take mints because they can't taste them exactly. That's
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: why listen to me, y'all real stink breath. Don't ever
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: wanta mint because they can't taste them. Well, then I
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: didn't know that sugar cube. That's like taking a sugar coo,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: a sugar cube and having put it on a tablespoon
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: of sugar honey iced teeth. That's why take a cuba
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: put it on a tables food a sugar squallowing give

- 1:03:18Speaker 1: If you don't know, if they knew that, they killed themselves.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Somebody got to say something to see something. There's other
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: things you can do, like instead of offering him a
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: mint or some gum, offer him some tidy boat for
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: sugar honey ice tea out of the job. Offer him
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: some tidy bowl, just hand it to him. Play the
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: commercial with the little man and the tue taking the knife.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: Hey it, go outside and hook up a fire holes
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: to a fire hydrant, and when you turn around to
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: say hello, blow his whole damn mouth off with that firehole.
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: These are the type of drastic measures you have to
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: take take with people's breath that smell like hot garbage. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: you've opened up trash can in the summer when you
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: was a little boy. Ye know what that smell like.

- 1:04:27Speaker 1: and everybody breath be kicking. Yeah, let's just tell the truth.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: But normally for those of us whose breath just kick

- 1:04:38Speaker 1: talking and you'll go, damn that me, and then we'll
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: cut our hands when you smell like exactly like what
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: I said, When your breath smell like exactly, see exactly,
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: zactly exactly like the crack of your aid if you
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: got exactly I see the reason the reason you don't
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: never see people blowing into their hands when they got bad, brother,
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: it's because they did it one time and it knocked
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: their ass out and when they came to they didn't
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: know what the hell had. Now he needs he wants
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: to know how to tell him. She's got to tell him.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: You don't. You can tell him what your body language
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: in your face, like like when they turned and they
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: started talking, just started doing stuff like m just saying.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: Then start just jumping in place, just bounce, just be

- 1:06:02Speaker 1: you know, I know how he isn't talk to somebody
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: with real fucking brill. You can't talk, no, because you
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: just want to get away from me. Yeah, yeah, email
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: him no. So I think i'd tell him when they're
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: in some of those clothes commedia, just get a big
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: piece of paper. When he started talking, just get a
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: magic markt and right shut the air. Far don't want

- 1:10:35Speaker 1: we go, y'all. Let's start with Power, the most watched
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: scripted series this summer. Yeah, according to fifty cents. So
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: they are doing their thing. Yeah, that's the jam right there. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: the original version Big Rich Town with Joe. Hopefully fifty's
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: the message and he will put the original version back.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: All right, Crystal, you can cut it. Here we go.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Angela's saved her man's life and made the ultimate sacrifice
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: because now she is dead. Angela is gone, and Tommy
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: killed her Steve and a failed attempt to kill Ghosts.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: He was trying to kill Ghosts. She pushed him out
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: the way, she got shot in the chest. She died.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: Tommy is mad at ghost his boy, because he feels
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: that ghost tricked him into killing his father. Ghosts. Very heartbroken,
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: very upset that Tommy killed he said, according to Ghosts,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: the only woman he's ever loved. He said that to
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: his wife. That hurt. But anyway, Ghost Um he tried
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: to kill Tommy twice. He tried to kill him twice,
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: So I guess it's safe to say they're not boys anymore.
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: They're not. I mean he shoot at me. I mean yeah, Yeah,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: first time, I accident. Second time, Yeah, this is a hit.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: You really trying to kill me? And let's talk about her.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: His disloyal behind to his daddy. Now he's picking sides
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: between his uncle Tommy and his dad. Even though you know,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: ghost Son he Tyreek, he really wasn't upset that Angela
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: is dead and his mom Tasha, she had to tell
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: him not to really hate on Angela like that because
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: even though she kind of like was a home record
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: to Tyreek broke up their family, she did look out
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: for Tyrek and helped him in a lot of trouble
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: that Tyrek was in. So that's dad, Angela's sister. She
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: really hates Ghosts. She wants him to go down for
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: being responsible for her sister's death. La La miss Keisha
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: La La Anthony is playing Keisha on the show. She
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: is trying to prove that she is right or die
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: for her man Tommy kind of struggling with that a
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: little bit. But anyway, Keisha got rid of the gun
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: that Tommy gave her, the gun that he shot and
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: killed Angela Wood. Finally, Yeah, yeah, what's her Bootyard one
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: sings or something? What I ain't get to see it?
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: But what's he but I no, she just had on
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: some tight jeans. Are you talking about La La? I'm
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: talking about I hope he talking about La La. He
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: talked about Tommy. I have pat Is that Tommy? I'm
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: just I mean, that's what I've been here. I ain't
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: seen the episode, but I've been hearing La La about
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: La La but or something in the kitchen or something.
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: But it wasn't out. It wasn't out. She just wasn't
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: well rounded. Yes, it was the Lord, Yes it was
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: any more questions about just behind It was so good timing.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: I didn't even know what the hell they was talking
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: about it the La La looking good. Anyway, I just
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: didn't like how she got rid of that gun. Shirley
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: took time to throw it in the river, and then Steve,
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: how you get rid of a weapon and then you
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: got your finger prints on the weapon. Why she didn't
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: have a gloves on the thor because she do have? Oh,
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: because she had had what she's doing? So anyway, that's that.
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: That's Power. That's the first episode. So you guys had
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: a chance to watch it now. According to fifty cent
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: check this Out, Power is the most watch scripted series
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: this summer. The season six premiere had a forty percent
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: rise in viewership on Stars and it was the number
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: one most social series of the night. And fifty cent
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: said the Emmys can kiss his entire and I'll just
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: leave it at that. So that's it. That's reality update
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: and wants to talk about power. It was a big
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: season premiere, and so we'll be watching and I'll keep
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: you updated. We'll be back at twenty after. Hit me
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: up at lips by Carla on social media and we
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: can talk about them more. Twenty after, we'll be back.
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: You got a picture of her boot? I don't you're
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: listening to show. President Trump spent the weekend in France
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: for the G Summit G seventh Summit, but he's hoping
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: that the Global economic leaders next meeting will be a
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: little closer to home. Specifically, the President wants to host
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: the two twenty G Summit G seventh Summit. I keep
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: saying GI Summit, G seventh Summit at Trump National Durell
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Resort in Miami. Really yeah, it is tell you one thing, man,
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: I shall be glad when he president no mobile touting.
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: He says, it's tremendous acreage. It's many buildings, it's proximity
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: to the airport. He's claiming that American officials haven't found
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: anything that's even close to competing with his golf course.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: So there, he says. People are really liking it, he said,
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: following a weekend of meetings with world leaders, who, by
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: the way, reportedly regard him as a tempestuous child. Really
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: imagine that. In related news, the President was mad and
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: blamed radical left Democrats for spreading a false and nasty
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: rumor about bedbug infestation at his golf resort into Ralph, Florida,
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: after after he said he would like to hold next
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: year's Group of Seventh summit at the property. So they, Yeah,
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: why is that? You wonder? It could just be somebody
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: don't like you, or it could just be bedbugs. How
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: about that? All right, We'll have more of the Steve

- 1:19:00Speaker 1: standing next to Jannet. Thought that was a little boy
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: taking the pitch. That's not real. Turn so tall in
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: that picture. But if you look at the picture, you
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: look like Tommy dangling in the air anyway, photo Shop.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: As I was saying, she grossed eight point nine million. Now,
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: adding that to her earlier run, Janet sold thirteen million
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: dollars worth of tickets, and on a daily basis, if
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: you break it down, Janet averaged about seven hundred and
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: twenty two thousand dollars and over four thousand tickets a night,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: better than the first. Yes, yes, yes, yes, Nicole Murphy
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: was there. I'll get quiet of couse. We're trying to
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: help you. Shit, shit, damn mouth. All right, coming up
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: next our last break of the day and Steve Harvey's
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: closing remarks right after this. You're listening, all right? Wow,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: this has been a fun day. I have to say,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: it's been a good day. Thank you Lord for that
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: for this day, this Thursday, right, thank you about the
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: boss is bad bad bad breath? Yes, all right, Steve,
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: So it's time take us home with some closing remarks,
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: please all right, I think today it's a good day
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: for this. I want to talk to everybody out there
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: that's trying to accomplish something, trying to reach a goal,
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: or trying to make a dream come true. The majority
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: of people, almost all the people that I deal with
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: in business, in my day to day, in my family,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: and all of my coworkers, almost everybody that I'm friends with,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: are on just really cool terms with are trying to
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: reach a goal, make a dream come true, or accomplish something.
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: But in this task, you have to remember that along
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: the way you will always always be tested. You must
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: expect from the moment you set a goal or decide
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: and make up in your mind that you're going to
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: accomplish something, you must then understand that you are going
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: to be tested. Now, these tests come two ways. They
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: come in the form of challenges. They come into forms
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: of setbacks. They come in forms of disappointment, betrayal, all
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: kinds of tests financial, they come in a raid or way.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: It happens to everybody. So when you strike out, know
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: that this is going to happen. Some of these things
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: are presented to you by your creator. Some of them
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: are presented to you by him to strengthen you along
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: the way, to teach you some lessons that you need
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: to know along the way. Some of these obstacles are
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: thrown in your face by the enemy, because the enemy
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: has one objective. Simply, he doesn't care if you get
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: a new card. He doesn't care if you get a
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: raise or promotion, or if you make a lot of money,
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: or you're by yourself at home. The devil don't really
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: care about that. His whole mission is to rob you
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: of your destiny. That's his soul mission in life, is
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: to keep you from reaching your destiny. As a matter
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: of fact, he don't care for a couple of cool
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: things happen to you. Why are you doing something illegal?
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: He's okay with that. He hate when God blesses you.
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: He hates when you give God glory and credit. But man,
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: if you get a little bit on the side because
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: you're hustling or you're dealing or something he cool with that.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: You know why, because he's robbing you of your destiny.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: You have to understand that you are gonna be set
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: by problems, situations, circumstance. It happens to all of us.
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: It is simply called life. No one is exempt from life.
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: No one gets to skip through life scott free, scott free.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: Nobody gets to be problem free nobody. And let me
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: tell you something. When you look around and you see
- 1:23:50Speaker 1: somebody and they seem like they handling in it, so well,
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: just know this, that person that you see seems to
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: always get up when they fall down. They always seem
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: to be handling it. They keep a smile in their face.
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: I got news for you that probably that person going
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: through it and got some situations. But I bet you
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: he got some faith. I bet you that person right
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: there has always got a smile on their face. I
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: bet you they got a relationship with God. I can
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: almost promise you that if you see a person that
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: keeps getting knocked down, if you know somebody that people
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: always writing them off and you see them keep rising again,
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: that person right there, no God, that person right there
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: got some faith because listen to him. I had a
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: T shirt I was selling one time for the Foundation
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: that says faith doesn't make it easy, faith makes it possible.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: And when you have faith, it creates the possibility. Instead
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: of always looking at stuff at the probability, you gotta
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: start looking at stuff with the possibility. And the reason
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: I created that phrase I kind of I don't really
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: know the exact time for all of this, but probability
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: kind of mean like it probably something probably might happen.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: You know, the probability always presents a problem. Now it
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: probably might not work. It probably a goal bad. If
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: you do this, somebody probably might not like it. You you,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: you probably might not reach that goal. I call them probabilities.
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: They come into formal statistics. Somebody always got a statistic
- 1:25:32Speaker 1: for you know, you know, nine out of ten people
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: don't make it in that field, you know, you know
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: they say that one in every twenty five people end
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: up getting hurt doing that. But there are some people
- 1:25:48Speaker 1: who have faith and they have the same problems, trials,
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: challenges and tests that you face. They looking at them
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: just like you looking at them, but they're handling it
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: a different way. They have a companion and they have
- 1:26:04Speaker 1: a guide, and that is their relationship with God. And
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: when you have God, you have help. You have a
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: source that you can turn over the worry and the
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: problems too, so you can keep on up the road,
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: develop your faith, trust in God, and your goals, your accomplishments,
- 1:26:25Speaker 1: and dreams would be a lot simpler for you to handle.
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: It's still gonna be problems, but you're gonna be able
- 1:26:33Speaker 1: to handle it. Those are my closing remarks today. I've
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: already dropped the mic. Y'all. Have a good weekend. Back
