- 2:36Speaker 1: Stretched Studios franchise includes eleven locations in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Texas,
- 2:44Speaker 1: and Nevada. Please welcome to money making Conversations, Kika Wise,
- 2:49Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you. Well, I had to get it
- 2:51Speaker 1: all out, you know, I had to get it all Yes. Well,
- 2:57Speaker 1: you know you're an awesome person because he was able to. Uh.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I always tell people we hear the worst throwing out there.
- 3:03Speaker 1: A lot of passion gifts follow your dreams. You know,
- 3:07Speaker 1: before you found this particular dream, you was hitting in
- 3:10Speaker 1: a different direction with your career. Correct. Absolutely, so. I
- 3:16Speaker 1: actually was a professional dancer and actress, and so I
- 3:21Speaker 1: performed and acted in the industry for a while, and
- 3:24Speaker 1: then um, I was about to have his son. I
- 3:28Speaker 1: was pregnant with his son, and so at that moment,
- 3:31Speaker 1: I said, you know, I really need to find something
- 3:33Speaker 1: that's been a little bit more stable, because I want
- 3:36Speaker 1: to offer him things that I couldn't do when I
- 3:39Speaker 1: was a child. So that's when I decided that I
- 3:42Speaker 1: started business or go back to school. And so people said,
- 3:47Speaker 1: don't start a business. Most businesses fell blah blah blah.
- 3:50Speaker 1: You know that statistics in the first three years. But
- 3:53Speaker 1: those taters are out there right they tell you, I
- 3:56Speaker 1: don't understand your dream, but don't start it. I don't
- 3:59Speaker 1: know what your dream. I to understand the work or
- 4:01Speaker 1: your plan, but don't start it exactly. So I started it,
- 4:06Speaker 1: um and yeah, history started. Then let me do your
- 4:12Speaker 1: own kick. You know you you you say that I
- 4:14Speaker 1: started it? Where did you started? Well, let's talk about
- 4:17Speaker 1: that that first idea, you know, because you know, I
- 4:20Speaker 1: remember when I started doing stand up. I remember my
- 4:23Speaker 1: first comedy club. It wasn't a place where I originally
- 4:25Speaker 1: started it, but it was a starting point and eventually
- 4:28Speaker 1: enabled me to go where I really became. Now you're
- 4:31Speaker 1: you know, leving franchises around the country. Where did the
- 4:34Speaker 1: first studio start? So I opened the first studio in
- 4:40Speaker 1: Mount Clair, New Jersey, on top of a CBS. It's
- 4:44Speaker 1: a pharmacy. So I shared the room with the real
- 4:48Speaker 1: estate agent. So I had like half of a room,
- 4:51Speaker 1: the side of a closet, and I had a mat
- 4:53Speaker 1: and I had a ball, and so I decided, let
- 4:57Speaker 1: me start stretching people the way you know I to
- 5:00Speaker 1: stretch as a dancer. So I created a routine that
- 5:03Speaker 1: was based on my own routine, but I replaced gravity
- 5:07Speaker 1: with the stretch coach, which is the person that helps
- 5:09Speaker 1: the person stretch. So I started with one client. When
- 5:13Speaker 1: he bought his first package, I was so excited, like
- 5:17Speaker 1: this man actually gave me two hundred dollars or two seconds.
- 5:21Speaker 1: This is a great idea. So that gave me more
- 5:24Speaker 1: power to move forward. So you one person, one person,
- 5:29Speaker 1: You saw a future, you saw an opportunity, you saw
- 5:31Speaker 1: a vision, you saw wow, I could do this. Yes,
- 5:38Speaker 1: people side, you're either onto something or you're crazy. But
- 5:42Speaker 1: the motivating the motivating factor at the time was my
- 5:46Speaker 1: son and to provide for him to also be a
- 5:49Speaker 1: part of his life. Like fast forward to today, I
- 5:53Speaker 1: still drop my son off at school and I picked
- 5:55Speaker 1: come up on most days. So that was very important
- 5:57Speaker 1: to me. So my hy was so big, like no
- 6:00Speaker 1: matter what the haters said, I was like, I didn't listen.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I just kept going because I knew I can do
- 6:06Speaker 1: it on behalf of my farmy So yeah, no, here's
- 6:09Speaker 1: a great thing about what I'm talking to U, kikay
- 6:12Speaker 1: Sees the Fouleder CEEO and owner and U of Kika
- 6:15Speaker 1: Stretch Studios, which is a franchised and eleven locations around
- 6:20Speaker 1: the country New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Texas and Nevali.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Now Kika, I live in Texas. I have a home
- 6:27Speaker 1: in Houston, and I have a home in Atlanta, Georgia.
- 6:30Speaker 1: We're in Texas and we're in Atlanta. Are you located?
- 6:33Speaker 1: So we're in located in Dallas, Texas, um in the
- 6:37Speaker 1: Highland Park area, and actually our Atlanta studio is in
- 6:42Speaker 1: the heart of Buckhead and they just moved into a
- 6:44Speaker 1: bigger location. So you would love it. You have to
- 6:47Speaker 1: stop by. Okay, I'm gonna stop by. Let me just
- 6:50Speaker 1: tell you about you know, I always tell people when
- 6:52Speaker 1: they come on my show when I when I have
- 6:54Speaker 1: a personal experience, I always try to share just to
- 6:56Speaker 1: validate why this interview is important not only to me,
- 6:59Speaker 1: to people were listening to the show, or because of
- 7:02Speaker 1: the fact that stretching changed my life in the sense
- 7:06Speaker 1: of of because I traveled a lot, and I did that.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I did this system. You know, I walk, I walk
- 7:13Speaker 1: a mill a day, and I would do lightweight and
- 7:16Speaker 1: all that stuff. But I was my core was failing me. Okay.
- 7:19Speaker 1: And now because I fly a lot. I remember last year,
- 7:21Speaker 1: I did a hundred and twenty one one way trips,
- 7:24Speaker 1: which is like sixty one round trips in one year.
- 7:29Speaker 1: And so no matter, I don't care if his first
- 7:31Speaker 1: class C conference that you didn't matter. He still was
- 7:33Speaker 1: at that little angle. Okay, and so and so when
- 7:37Speaker 1: I when I was and so so and my daughter
- 7:40Speaker 1: it was fun to my daughter, she was a former
- 7:42Speaker 1: professional tennis player. And my wife would always tell it
- 7:45Speaker 1: stretch and I wouldn't. I wouldn't listen to it, whatever, whatever.
- 7:49Speaker 1: And I was just going there, lift my little weight
- 7:51Speaker 1: to hey. I was I thought I was looking fine.
- 7:52Speaker 1: I was looking fine. Okay, it was working for me.
- 7:55Speaker 1: It was working for me, okay, and then but it
- 7:58Speaker 1: wasn't working for me. You know, my neck was still barred,
- 8:01Speaker 1: my back, my my my, my, my stride was getting
- 8:04Speaker 1: shorter and shorter. I could tell. And when I wanted
- 8:07Speaker 1: to walk, I had to make an effort to walk
- 8:09Speaker 1: like I wanted to walk. And it wasn't until I
- 8:12Speaker 1: started stretching that it it changed. It changed, and and
- 8:18Speaker 1: and it wasn't like and so that's what I do now.
- 8:22Speaker 1: And I want to tell you something, my my, I
- 8:24Speaker 1: think my body looks better than it has ever loved.
- 8:26Speaker 1: I have no love handles, you know, and and and
- 8:30Speaker 1: my my core and my back issues. My my flexibility
- 8:34Speaker 1: is amazing and my stride is comfortable. Now I don't
- 8:38Speaker 1: have to make an effort, and I don't walk like
- 8:40Speaker 1: an old person anymore, exactly. Yeah, people have always slept,
- 8:45Speaker 1: you know, stretching like, oh, it's not it's not cool,
- 8:48Speaker 1: it's boring. But what I really tried to do is
- 8:51Speaker 1: make it a unique experience so people would love to
- 8:54Speaker 1: do it. And it's just so powerful for mentally, for
- 8:58Speaker 1: your brain, for the blow flow of blood throughout your
- 9:01Speaker 1: whole body, to prevent injuries, and just to reset your mind.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Because people are so stressed out and they're just so tense.
- 9:08Speaker 1: They think it's normal. But then when they come into
- 9:11Speaker 1: our studio and they lie there for an hour and
- 9:13Speaker 1: have someone struts them out there, like I dreamt about this,
- 9:20Speaker 1: you know, it really is amazing I'm I'm a very
- 9:24Speaker 1: close friend. Uh he was. He was just diagnosed with
- 9:27Speaker 1: first stage Parkinson and we talked foot talk and he's
- 9:32Speaker 1: fifty one and I told hey, and I told him
- 9:35Speaker 1: mysel I said, start stretching. I should just start stretching.
- 9:41Speaker 1: He called me a week later and say, man, I
- 9:45Speaker 1: can't believe how better how I feel. It makes a
- 9:50Speaker 1: huge difference. And I just got to say that I'm
- 9:53Speaker 1: not saying this is a miracle drug. This is just
- 9:56Speaker 1: taking your natural body and relaxing it and stre and
- 10:01Speaker 1: and that's why I feel that what you're doing is important. Well,
- 10:05Speaker 1: we have a lot of things out there. We have
- 10:07Speaker 1: hot yoga, we got peloton, we got we got you know,
- 10:12Speaker 1: pilates and all that. I'm a stretched man, Nakika. I'm
- 10:16Speaker 1: your I'm your boy. Now you know you definitely have
- 10:19Speaker 1: to come then, I'm your boy. I'm coming. I'm just
- 10:22Speaker 1: gonna let you know because I was so funny. I was.
- 10:24Speaker 1: I was just three weeks ago. I was about to
- 10:27Speaker 1: sign up for a pilate class because I live in
- 10:29Speaker 1: uh Alpharetta area. Buckhead is where actually we're the studios.
- 10:33Speaker 1: That's where I record my show. And so we also have.
- 10:36Speaker 1: We also have a location in Finding. I don't know
- 10:38Speaker 1: if that's quote. Girl, You on point with me, okay,
- 10:43Speaker 1: me and you me, and you're really good and so
- 10:46Speaker 1: so I just I just can't wait. You open the
- 10:48Speaker 1: location in d C so I can tell my friend,
- 10:51Speaker 1: so we can go there, and let let's never just
- 10:53Speaker 1: explain to everybody what happens with the Kika method. Now,
- 10:57Speaker 1: if you're dealing with a key muscles, which especially around
- 10:59Speaker 1: the next shoulders and other core muscles, that's what we're
- 11:02Speaker 1: talking about. The court muscles, which I don't have a
- 11:04Speaker 1: problem with anymore, and the pain or stiffness enjoining muscles,
- 11:08Speaker 1: that's what I was talking about. My stride. My stride
- 11:10Speaker 1: was getting shorter. I thought, I thought I was still
- 11:13Speaker 1: being cool, but I was just really making a lot
- 11:15Speaker 1: more effort for a shorter distance, okay, and then muscle
- 11:20Speaker 1: cramps and limited range of motion right there, right there,
- 11:23Speaker 1: And let me, you know, somebody just telling people who
- 11:26Speaker 1: get over fifty okay, and that's me, okay, And so
- 11:31Speaker 1: what happened sixty seventy and what happens is and this
- 11:35Speaker 1: is where I discovered. That's why I'm so excited about
- 11:37Speaker 1: this interview. With you, and we're about to get out
- 11:39Speaker 1: of this break and what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna
- 11:40Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to the next break because you know,
- 11:42Speaker 1: I'm enjoying myself. I hope you enjoyed this interview because
- 11:45Speaker 1: because the fact that you're changing people's lives, and I
- 11:48Speaker 1: want to motiep motivate people understand that that what what
- 11:52Speaker 1: you what somebody told you was a bad idea that
- 11:54Speaker 1: started with one person and two d dollars. It's going
- 11:57Speaker 1: to be saving lives. Are gonna be improving the quality
- 12:00Speaker 1: of life for so many people. And and it's some
- 12:04Speaker 1: common sense things that you see every day. You see athletes,
- 12:07Speaker 1: professional athletes, football players before they played, they stretch. They
- 12:12Speaker 1: show you stretching basketball players. If you go to a
- 12:15Speaker 1: game prior to the game, go early. Basketball players they're stretching.
- 12:20Speaker 1: They're stretching. They're not stretching because they just like to stretch.
- 12:23Speaker 1: They know that's how they can play longer and go
- 12:25Speaker 1: get don't get injured. Okay, that's key, that's key. That's key.
- 12:29Speaker 1: So when we come back, we're gonna have more. An
- 12:32Speaker 1: incredible conversation I'm having right with Keiko, the owner Keiko
- 12:35Speaker 1: Wise is a full name Kiko Kika Stretch Studios. She's

- 14:53Speaker 1: Making Conversation. You say to yourself, who calls Rushan Shell,
- 14:57Speaker 1: please welcome the money Making Conversations. La La Anthony. We
- 15:01Speaker 1: met you know used always can you give always talk
- 15:07Speaker 1: to you about everything, everything and looking at you and
- 15:10Speaker 1: Steve Harvey. You know that motivated me too because I

- 15:15Speaker 1: it not just being on the radio. Come at that
- 15:18Speaker 1: time and even now you know people want to put
- 15:21Speaker 1: people in boxes. Please welcome to Money Making Conversations. The
- 15:25Speaker 1: incredible Nick Cannon. You truly one of them our mentors
- 15:28Speaker 1: and one of the people that showed me that you
- 15:30Speaker 1: can be multifascinating. You know for a fact, now that
- 15:33Speaker 1: you're about to capture an audience, it's going to have
- 15:35Speaker 1: a spending power for at least another twenty years, three
- 15:38Speaker 1: years like my happiness and money doesn't make you happy,
- 15:41Speaker 1: for happy makes your money. Money Making Conversations continues online
- 15:45Speaker 1: at www dot money Making Conversations dot com. Hi, this
- 15:49Speaker 1: is Roshan McDonald and you're listening to Money Making Conversations.
- 15:53Speaker 1: She launched it in so the idea people told it
- 15:57Speaker 1: was a bad idea while you're washing your time, go
- 15:59Speaker 1: back to school, go to something that they could understand.
- 16:01Speaker 1: That's what I was talking about money making conversations that
- 16:04Speaker 1: a lot of people tell your tell you your ideas
- 16:06Speaker 1: are bad because they have not taken the time to
- 16:08Speaker 1: understand your idea. So that what they do is they
- 16:11Speaker 1: they walk or they wrap their information or their comments
- 16:14Speaker 1: about what they know, what they understand, what they can
- 16:17Speaker 1: relate to. So that's what mentorship comes into play. That's
- 16:21Speaker 1: where you have to surround yourself with people who are
- 16:23Speaker 1: like minded, so they won't shut down your idea. They
- 16:26Speaker 1: won't shut down I remember when I was at IBM
- 16:29Speaker 1: and and I wanted to be a stand up comic.
- 16:31Speaker 1: And I went to some people who were working normal
- 16:34Speaker 1: for they all week jobs and told him I was
- 16:36Speaker 1: going to be a stand up comic. I was gonna
- 16:37Speaker 1: leave IBM. They went, that's a dumb idea. You don't
- 16:41Speaker 1: leave a steady check, you're gonna leave health benefits, you're
- 16:44Speaker 1: gonna leave a retirement package, and how much money are
- 16:47Speaker 1: you gonna make? And honestly told them, I don't know. Well,
- 16:51Speaker 1: the in those came faster and so and so that's
- 16:58Speaker 1: why I always tell people, you know, we all have passion,
- 17:00Speaker 1: we all have dreams, and Kiko, when I look at
- 17:03Speaker 1: what you're doing and your millennial, and a lot of
- 17:06Speaker 1: millennials get a bad rap. You know they wanted faster,
- 17:09Speaker 1: you know they you know they don't want to work
- 17:11Speaker 1: hard for I'll just tell you, if I was your
- 17:13Speaker 1: age and I had the technology that you have available
- 17:17Speaker 1: to you today, when I was growing up, I'll be
- 17:19Speaker 1: there'd be bad for Rishan because they'd be bad left right,
- 17:23Speaker 1: and my social my social media be on fire. I
- 17:26Speaker 1: wouldn't be talking to nobody. I'll be on I'll be
- 17:29Speaker 1: walking around my phone. I wouldn't have a big screen TV.
- 17:32Speaker 1: I'll be doing everything on my phone because that's where
- 17:34Speaker 1: my life here, that's where I feel comfortable with. And
- 17:36Speaker 1: so when I look at your but what this is
- 17:39Speaker 1: what I love about what you're doing, your millennial that
- 17:44Speaker 1: has found the secret sauce for people my age. Yes,
- 17:52Speaker 1: and that's beautiful, that's beautiful. Yeah. Most people just focus
- 17:56Speaker 1: on millennials like, oh, we have to build our business
- 17:59Speaker 1: model to attract millennials. Millennials, and we're sitting here like
- 18:03Speaker 1: what makes it so special? What about everybody else, you know,
- 18:06Speaker 1: other generations, and so there hasn't really been too many
- 18:09Speaker 1: models created for baby boomers. Don't get me wrong. You
- 18:13Speaker 1: have clients is younger seven years old that come, but
- 18:17Speaker 1: do have a large majority of baby boomers. They they
- 18:21Speaker 1: are seeking you know, one on one attention. They don't
- 18:24Speaker 1: want to be in rooms full of people startching on,
- 18:27Speaker 1: you know, So that really is it really is well,
- 18:31Speaker 1: you know the beauty of it. And this is a
- 18:33Speaker 1: very good interview. You know, people said, well, what does
- 18:36Speaker 1: it have to do with entrepreneurship, What does this have
- 18:38Speaker 1: to do with career planning? Because if you do not
- 18:40Speaker 1: physically right, mentally right, then the dreams that you're trying
- 18:44Speaker 1: to pursue in life will not be reached comfortably. And
- 18:47Speaker 1: that's what you're on to do in life. You're trying
- 18:49Speaker 1: to comfortably get to the end, to the end game.
- 18:51Speaker 1: The end game is all these dreams you have in placed,
- 18:53Speaker 1: all these goals you have in placed, that you can
- 18:55Speaker 1: get up every day out of bed and then go
- 18:57Speaker 1: to bed when you want to and not complain, because
- 19:00Speaker 1: the physicality of that effort is key to whether you're
- 19:03Speaker 1: gonna accomplish any of those goals. So when someone comes
- 19:06Speaker 1: to your studio, Kicker Stretch Studio, walk us through the process.
- 19:10Speaker 1: So you you would come in, um you would fill
- 19:13Speaker 1: out a waiver and take forms, so they're gonna let
- 19:17Speaker 1: us know everything you're experiencing in your body, if you
- 19:20Speaker 1: have any injuries, if you have any pain, then we're
- 19:23Speaker 1: gonna bring you through a presentation that shows you, like
- 19:27Speaker 1: an old school PowerPoint presentation about what we're about to do,
- 19:32Speaker 1: how it's going to be beneficial to you, and then
- 19:34Speaker 1: we take you through a form that actually hones in
- 19:38Speaker 1: on the exact reason why you came into the studio today.
- 19:42Speaker 1: So based on that, that's gonna be our goal for
- 19:44Speaker 1: the entire experience. So if you tell us my hamstrings
- 19:48Speaker 1: have been sore for years, we're gonna target your hamstrings
- 19:51Speaker 1: and help unlock that part of your body. What most
- 19:54Speaker 1: people don't realize is it's usually one muscle group that's
- 19:58Speaker 1: preventing your whole body from relaxing. So once we unlocked that,
- 20:02Speaker 1: then you'll be able to live more free. We also
- 20:06Speaker 1: measure your stretch age, so we have a measuring system
- 20:09Speaker 1: where we tell you how old you are flexibility wise
- 20:12Speaker 1: and not. It does not have anything to do with
- 20:15Speaker 1: your actual birth age is completely based on your flexibility.
- 20:19Speaker 1: So we compare that number before the session and after
- 20:22Speaker 1: the session. Usually after the session people get or lose
- 20:25Speaker 1: three inches of tension after forty five minutes. So yeah,
- 20:31Speaker 1: we're providing all types of results. I mean, that's the
- 20:34Speaker 1: wild moment that what what what? Yes? Yeah, yeah, some
- 20:40Speaker 1: people see it like wow, I feel better, but I
- 20:43Speaker 1: have visible results that I've done better than I have
- 20:47Speaker 1: in thirty years, justin forty five minutes. It's really interesting
- 20:52Speaker 1: when I when I when I finally listened to my wife,
- 20:55Speaker 1: finally finally got my behind on the floor. Okay, I
- 20:59Speaker 1: I had everywhere. It wasn't like I wasn't it like
- 21:01Speaker 1: I didn't have access to it. If my mind went
- 21:04Speaker 1: this would do nothing for me. This is a why stretchy? What?
- 21:09Speaker 1: What is there? What is the benefit of that? And
- 21:12Speaker 1: all the while I'm complaining, Like you said, I had
- 21:14Speaker 1: this muscle group, and the muscle group that was bothering
- 21:17Speaker 1: me was my right but tex area that's kind of
- 21:21Speaker 1: little above my right hip. I mean I would I
- 21:24Speaker 1: would lean and I would walk, I would waddle out walk,
- 21:28Speaker 1: I would do every to put some ice on it.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Icy hot everything. I was in denial. I needed you
- 21:38Speaker 1: kick up. What were you at? I needed you? And
- 21:41Speaker 1: the thing is like people can only go so far
- 21:44Speaker 1: on their own. So like I started to buy myself
- 21:46Speaker 1: all the time, but I'm just stretching by myself. It
- 21:49Speaker 1: really takes just like you said, mentors help you get
- 21:52Speaker 1: level in life. It really takes a stretch cootes to
- 21:55Speaker 1: help you get to another level physically, a place where
- 21:59Speaker 1: you've never durience before, a place of freedom all through
- 22:02Speaker 1: your body. You need help. You can't do it on
- 22:04Speaker 1: your own because people are like, oh, yeah, you know,
- 22:06Speaker 1: I've been stretching for years. But then we look at
- 22:09Speaker 1: them like, why are you so tight? Because you've been
- 22:12Speaker 1: stretching by yourself for years. So what we've really done
- 22:14Speaker 1: is developed a way for people to receive freedom within
- 22:17Speaker 1: their own bodies. And inven I was the only one
- 22:21Speaker 1: doing it. Now we have competitors who are emulating what
- 22:26Speaker 1: we've set up. So it's it's if people always ask
- 22:29Speaker 1: me like, wow, how do you feel about that? And
- 22:31Speaker 1: I told them I'm honored. I started an industry and
- 22:34Speaker 1: the huge companies are trying to mimic it like it's
- 22:38Speaker 1: it's a great feeling. Well, you know, I guess first
- 22:40Speaker 1: of all, they are not own money to make conversation.
- 22:44Speaker 1: It's don't want to make conversation because because you have
- 22:47Speaker 1: a passionate barce here, it's gonna always shout out your
- 22:51Speaker 1: name and your brain to come to show up in
- 22:53Speaker 1: class and start stretching. You can help me your flex here, flexible,
- 22:58Speaker 1: I could been a little bit more. Come on, work
- 23:01Speaker 1: with that. Make up about five words when we finished
- 23:04Speaker 1: this show. But let's talk about this a little bit
- 23:07Speaker 1: of the business side, because we're talking about franchises, and
- 23:10Speaker 1: you know, it's always easy. You know when you when
- 23:13Speaker 1: you control the baby, you know the you know the
- 23:15Speaker 1: food come out you're cooking in that oven because you're
- 23:18Speaker 1: around it all the time. When you start telling franchises,
- 23:21Speaker 1: you know, that's just your brand. And then you put
- 23:24Speaker 1: your brand in the hands of somebody else and trusted them.
- 23:28Speaker 1: The money is fine, but it's still your name's up there.
- 23:31Speaker 1: How do you how did you get past that? And
- 23:34Speaker 1: what are the benefits of you know, of franchising. So actually, okay,
- 23:40Speaker 1: so I just had this conversation with someone, So I
- 23:43Speaker 1: mentor people and I helped them franchise their own businesses too.
- 23:47Speaker 1: So one of the things you said was I'm horrible
- 23:49Speaker 1: with people works. I'm I'm not worried locations, but I'm
- 23:55Speaker 1: just not organized enough to make it grow. And that's
- 23:57Speaker 1: one of the benefits of having franchise these you can
- 24:01Speaker 1: find franchise partners who are great in areas that you're
- 24:05Speaker 1: not great at, bring them on, and then together as
- 24:08Speaker 1: a unit your whole. So one of the things that
- 24:11Speaker 1: I've really learned this year specifically is the power of
- 24:15Speaker 1: having exceptional franchise e s. And you know, when I
- 24:20Speaker 1: first started, I used to say, oh, this is what
- 24:22Speaker 1: we can do for you, this is what we can
- 24:23Speaker 1: offer you, and then I say I need to ask
- 24:26Speaker 1: what can you offer us? What can you offer me?
- 24:30Speaker 1: What can you offer the brand? And so that's definitely
- 24:33Speaker 1: something very important for people to ask, like when franchising,
- 24:37Speaker 1: what is this franchise, how are they going to help you?
- 24:40Speaker 1: And what can they add to the whole message? So really,
- 24:45Speaker 1: you know, it's really because it is that that they
- 24:48Speaker 1: have the right to ask that question. Because everybody's they
- 24:51Speaker 1: see an opportunity to see an opportunity to make money.
- 24:53Speaker 1: That's when we have to put the pump the brakes
- 24:55Speaker 1: right there. Okay, I got that. But it also is
- 24:58Speaker 1: the work you're willing to put in. Do you care
- 25:00Speaker 1: about the brand and do you care about the people
- 25:03Speaker 1: that are gonna be coming through their dual, because that's
- 25:06Speaker 1: where the customer relationships come in. That's when you can
- 25:09Speaker 1: get the ugly other good social media posts. And when
- 25:11Speaker 1: the social media post goes out there, that's across the brand. Okay,
- 25:17Speaker 1: that's across the brand. And so and I was reading
- 25:19Speaker 1: I was reading in your bios and there are three
- 25:21Speaker 1: valuable pieces of advice about franchising. One, be passionate about
- 25:26Speaker 1: whatever opportunity to you are pursuing. Too, you don't have
- 25:30Speaker 1: to quit your job to go after your dream. Work
- 25:33Speaker 1: your way into it. To tell people all the time,
- 25:37Speaker 1: if you're feeling overwhelmed, I love this, delegate, Delegate, Delegate, Yes,
- 25:45Speaker 1: every day I asked myself, what else can I delegate
- 25:48Speaker 1: because I'm feeling overwhelmed. That's that's honestly the That's the
- 25:52Speaker 1: point of being in business to offer jobs to people.
- 25:55Speaker 1: So you shouldn't be trying to do everything. You should
- 25:57Speaker 1: be offering these opportunities to others and helping their families grow,
- 26:01Speaker 1: not just yours, now your studios, your method? Can you do?
- 26:06Speaker 1: We walk through your method a couple of Can you
- 26:08Speaker 1: just explain your method a little bit more before you
- 26:10Speaker 1: wrap up the show so I can make sure everybody
- 26:11Speaker 1: understand what exactly is the Kikup method. Yep. So it's
- 26:16Speaker 1: based on the dancers approach of stretching. So we use
- 26:19Speaker 1: stretch coaches that replace gravity. So as the client lies
- 26:23Speaker 1: on a custom max you're lying on a mat the
- 26:26Speaker 1: whole time. We teach you how to completely let go
- 26:29Speaker 1: of all of your tensions, so you're lying their length
- 26:32Speaker 1: and we follow your breath pattern to add the stretch.
- 26:35Speaker 1: So imagine lying there completely length. You don't have to
- 26:38Speaker 1: hold your body up, You just relax and having someone
- 26:41Speaker 1: take you a bit further than you could ever go
- 26:43Speaker 1: on on and that we do your entire body. We
- 26:46Speaker 1: end it with a little bit of attention relief um
- 26:50Speaker 1: treatment on your back and then you stand up and
- 26:52Speaker 1: you feel like a new person. Okay, I need to
- 26:57Speaker 1: bring a pillow blanket. We have specific Hello, you can't
- 27:06Speaker 1: take a napp I know how you about to look
- 27:08Speaker 1: over the shot shot ri shot ris shot rist shot.
- 27:11Speaker 1: If I start snoring in the bucket class. That's me somebody.
- 27:15Speaker 1: But this guy came in. He was dressed nice and
- 27:17Speaker 1: then he went to sleep in the right in the
- 27:19Speaker 1: middle of That's good. There you go. I love it,
- 27:24Speaker 1: I love it. I love it. So what's the future.
- 27:26Speaker 1: What's the future Kika Stretched Studio. What's the future in
- 27:29Speaker 1: eleven eleven locations? What is the future? Yeah? So this
- 27:33Speaker 1: year we're looking to add seven more franchisees uh uh
- 27:38Speaker 1: qualified candidates that can really add to the overall brand. UM. So,
- 27:43Speaker 1: of course scaling and adding um to the unit is
- 27:46Speaker 1: always important. But then we're also working on creating a
- 27:50Speaker 1: franchise university of some sorts, some people who maybe don't
- 27:54Speaker 1: have enough money to get involved with, people who don't
- 27:57Speaker 1: see it as being an outlet way to you know,
- 28:01Speaker 1: grow UM. We're looking to educate people on exactly what
- 28:05Speaker 1: franchising is because there's not really too much out there,
- 28:08Speaker 1: so we're looking to help everyone. I'm talking to the
- 28:12Speaker 1: youngest female franchise er in the US and UM top
- 28:17Speaker 1: female entrepreneur was named top female Entrepreneur by Huffington Post
- 28:21Speaker 1: and she's amazing. Uh eleven locations in counting. She wants
- 28:25Speaker 1: seven more or more seven or more in not don't
- 28:30Speaker 1: limit ourselves on the number. If if to have comes.
- 28:33Speaker 1: She's cool because she knows how to delegate delegate delegate. Yea, all,
- 28:40Speaker 1: this is awesome. First of all, I'm a fan of
- 28:41Speaker 1: yours and uh, I would definitely push anything that you have.
- 28:45Speaker 1: I definitely want some some some banners. If you want
- 28:48Speaker 1: me to post it on my social media, I would
- 28:50Speaker 1: feel free to send them to you because because I
- 28:52Speaker 1: know what stretching has done for me, and I have
- 28:54Speaker 1: not been to your studio. I've been not been in
- 28:56Speaker 1: your location. So the excitement of going in there knowing
- 28:58Speaker 1: that you can take me to another a level and
- 29:00Speaker 1: make my life better and I know where the impact
- 29:04Speaker 1: of I'm doing it in an amateur manner. I'm about
- 29:07Speaker 1: to go into a world where professionals tell you with Sean,
- 29:09Speaker 1: you're doing good, but guess what you can do better?
- 29:11Speaker 1: And I'm gonna tell you something. If you can make
- 29:13Speaker 1: me do better than what I'm doing now, Wow, because
- 29:17Speaker 1: I'm feeling great right now and you're telling me, R Sean,
- 29:20Speaker 1: there's another level and you come to my studios, will
- 29:24Speaker 1: take care of you. I want to thank you for
- 29:26Speaker 1: being on my show. I hope you enjoyed it. Thank
- 29:28Speaker 1: you so much is money making conversations. I'm your host,
