Speaker 1: come on dig me now, one and only Steve Harvey,
• 2:10
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, man, got a radio show. Do you understand that?
• 2:15
Speaker 1: I'm telling you God been big in my life. I'm
• 2:18
Speaker 1: not gonna kid you. I'm telling you in here do
• 2:20
Speaker 1: the same thing for you. God. God is a gentleman,
• 2:24
Speaker 1: you know. I want to I want to point that
• 2:26
Speaker 1: out to you. God is an absolute gentleman. He will
• 2:31
Speaker 1: not come in unless he's invited. He don't just barge
• 2:36
Speaker 1: into your life. He gives us the power of choice.
• 2:42
Speaker 1: You know, if you say you got it, I don't
• 2:44
Speaker 1: need you, He let you have it. If you say
• 2:47
Speaker 1: I need you, come see about me. He right there.
• 2:51
Speaker 1: It's just a real simple thing. Man. So always say
• 2:55
Speaker 1: to people this if you've gotten yourself into something, and
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: please know I have. I was stuck. I thought a
• 3:06
Speaker 1: couple of times, well, might not make it past this one.
• 3:12
Speaker 1: But then if I don't make it past it, what's
• 3:14
Speaker 1: gonna happen? And then I held on to this little
• 3:18
Speaker 1: thing that my mother kept talking to me about. She said, sometimes,
• 3:22
Speaker 1: so when you ain't got nothing else in you, just hope,
• 3:26
Speaker 1: she said, Just hope it'll be all right, you know.
• 3:30
Speaker 1: And what I've learned in my life is that hope
• 3:33
Speaker 1: is the beginning of faith. Hope. It's just is there
• 3:37
Speaker 1: a possibility out there for me? I sure hope something happened.
• 3:45
Speaker 1: See hope, hope it's okay, man, Because like I say,
• 3:50
Speaker 1: for me, the way I've lived my life, hope was
• 3:53
Speaker 1: the beginning of faith. It was just the idea. It's
• 3:56
Speaker 1: just the thought that something could change from me, that's
• 4:00
Speaker 1: something could be a little bit different from me. That maybe, man,
• 4:04
Speaker 1: just maybe for some reason, I could be saved, I
• 4:08
Speaker 1: could be rescued. Things could turn around, it could head
• 4:12
Speaker 1: in the other direction. Maybe I could quit messing up.
• 4:16
Speaker 1: Maybe somebody will forgive me, Maybe somebody will just say
• 4:20
  Speaker 1: all right. I don't know, but I can't count the
• 4:23
Speaker 1: times I've been in that position. But then once I
• 4:27
Speaker 1: hope a little bit, and then I remember also my mother,
• 4:29
Speaker 1: because she was a Sunday school teacher, she taught me
• 4:33
Speaker 1: the most valuable lesson I've ever learned in my life.
• 4:35
Speaker 1: Nothing has been greater in my life than my faith.
• 4:39
Speaker 1: She taught me to pray. Mamma used to say, when
• 4:41
Speaker 1: it get real dark for your son, prad changes things.
• 4:45
Speaker 1: She said, when you seem like you lost and you
• 4:48
Speaker 1: can't finding your way, stop and pray, she said, because
• 4:53
Speaker 1: prad changes things. You know, when you get a point
• 4:56
Speaker 1: in your life when you've done all you can do
• 4:58
Speaker 1: and you can't do no more and you just don't
• 5:00
Speaker 1: know what to do next, she says, stop, suh, pray
• 5:05
Speaker 1: and combine that prayer with that hope that you got,
• 5:10
Speaker 1: she said, because that hope is the beginning of faith.
• 5:13
Speaker 1: She said. If you pray just hoping, she's saying that
• 5:16
Speaker 1: God come through for you, that will give you confidence
• 5:19
Speaker 1: that he can do it again. And then after a
• 5:21
Speaker 1: while you quit hoping, she's saying, you start believing. She's saying,
• 5:25
Speaker 1: that's when you're on to something. If you can turn
• 5:28
Speaker 1: that hope into belief that hope into faith, the ability
• 5:34
Speaker 1: to believe in something that you can't see. But the
• 5:37
Speaker 1: key though the faith is you're believing in something that
• 5:41
Speaker 1: you can't see. See hoping a little bit different from
• 5:45
Speaker 1: me Now, I'm pretty sure, Like I say oftentimes to
• 5:47
Speaker 1: tell a lot of people who can explain this thing
• 5:49
Speaker 1: a lot better than I can to you, but just
• 5:52
Speaker 1: from my side of it being as real as I
• 5:55
Speaker 1: can be rich. See, hope helps. Man. If you ain't
• 5:59
Speaker 1: strong enough to have faith, have hope, and then if
• 6:02
Speaker 1: you pray with some hope and God answers your prayer,
• 6:05
Speaker 1: then that hope gains a little confidence and after a
• 6:09
Speaker 1: while that confidence becomes faith. Now ain't just hoping, but
• 6:14
Speaker 1: I'm believing. I'm believing in something that I cannot see.
• 6:19
Speaker 1: Faith has been the key to my entire existence, even
• 6:26
Speaker 1: when I didn't have any It was faith, as I
• 6:30
Speaker 1: look back on it, that has gotten me here, and
• 6:34
Speaker 1: not just faith, but my faith. See, you will only
• 6:39
Speaker 1: get to where you're going in your life based on
• 6:43
Speaker 1: your faith. See a lot of people get the word
• 6:46
Speaker 1: faith confused, like what's your faith? And then they started
• 6:50
Speaker 1: going down this whole list of all these different religions
• 6:53
Speaker 1: out here, but really an essence. Man. When I talk
• 6:56
Speaker 1: to people about faith, I'm talking to you about your
• 7:00
Speaker 1: your belief. How much do you believe in the unseen?
• 7:06
Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the things you can't see?
• 7:09
Speaker 1: How much do you believe in the impossible? How much
• 7:13
Speaker 1: do you believe see? Because faith is the belief in
• 7:19
Speaker 1: things that you cannot see. Faith is the core of
• 7:25
Speaker 1: all that is happening to me today. It is the
• 7:29
Speaker 1: faith that I have in my relationship with God that
• 7:32
Speaker 1: enables me to just oftentimes, if I stay on the
• 7:38
Speaker 1: right course and believe a certain way and act a
• 7:42
Speaker 1: certain way, his blessings just poor. They just come. And
• 7:48
Speaker 1: it comes in a lot of little ways too. I've
• 7:51
Speaker 1: started to notice, see, it ain't just a lot of
• 7:53
Speaker 1: people think blessings is money, and now man, that ain't it.
• 7:57
Speaker 1: It's coverage. It's every time my plane land safe. It's
• 8:02
Speaker 1: every time they predict bad weather and I get up
• 8:05
Speaker 1: in the sky and it don't be no bad weather.
• 8:08
Speaker 1: You know this, This is favor. These are blessings that
• 8:13
Speaker 1: get poured out to me. Somebody call me and offer
• 8:16
Speaker 1: me something, not money, but an opportunity, you know something.
• 8:21
Speaker 1: Somebody say, hey, Man, I don't know, but I sent
• 8:24
Speaker 1: this to you. I thought you might be interested in it.
• 8:27
Speaker 1: Somebody has sent me a scripture or somebody has send
• 8:29
Speaker 1: me something that's favor, and it always comes at a
• 8:34
Speaker 1: time when I need it the most. That's favor, that's
• 8:38
Speaker 1: pouring out blessings. Now I'm also the recipient of a
• 8:43
Speaker 1: lot of other blessings too. You know, I've been blessed
• 8:46
Speaker 1: with health. That's amazing blessing. Man. I've been blessed with
• 8:51
Speaker 1: a spirit of not quitting. I've been blessed with the
• 8:55
Speaker 1: ability to shoulder huge amounts of responsibility. See, blessings come
• 9:01
Speaker 1: a lot of ways. But once you tie into God,
• 9:06
Speaker 1: once you tie in and you start doing the best
• 9:09
Speaker 1: you can do, and you start asking for him to
• 9:12
Speaker 1: make you a better person, to help shape and mold
• 9:16
Speaker 1: you into the kind of man or person that he
• 9:19
Speaker 1: wants you to be. You be amazed what God can
• 9:22
Speaker 1: do with you. Man, if you just invite me in
• 9:24
Speaker 1: and allow him to be a part of your life.
• 9:27
Speaker 1: I mean, what you got to lose out there? Come on,
• 9:30
Speaker 1: if you're sitting in the cell this morning, why why
• 9:33
Speaker 1: would you not change? You have a chance to turn
• 9:36
Speaker 1: your life around. With a relationship with God. What you're
• 9:39
Speaker 1: waiting on? Are you gonna just keep doing it like that? Huh? Really?
• 9:44
Speaker 1: Come on, man, why would you do that to yourself?
• 9:47
Speaker 1: Why would you not allow God to be a part
• 9:49
Speaker 1: of your life so you can get the way He
• 9:51
Speaker 1: want you to be. God got some big plans for you.
• 9:54
Speaker 1: If he didn't, you wouldn't keep waking upw Ladies and gentlemen.
• 10:03
Speaker 1: The time has arrived for the beginning of a new day,

• 11:34
Speaker 1: It's hard work, people, really is whatever. I'm so glad
• 11:38
Speaker 1: God gave me the career he gave me because I
• 11:40
Speaker 1: would not have made it in corporate America. It ain't wait.
• 11:45
Speaker 1: I've been sitting up in the meets man because when
• 11:46
Speaker 1: I worked for I was sold insurance man. We used
• 11:48
Speaker 1: to be in meetings. I'll just be sitting in my head,
• 11:51
Speaker 1: just be to the side. Why what are you talking about?
• 11:57
Speaker 1: I don't care about this. We're gonna go over the
• 12:02
Speaker 1: company results for the quarter. It ain't my company. Dog
• 12:10
Speaker 1: was difficult to dog, it didn't. That didn't make no
• 12:13
Speaker 1: difference to me. Man, what what the company did for
• 12:16
Speaker 1: the quarter man? Whereas my damn checking that man? I
• 12:22
Speaker 1: sold this much? Issuing? Man? Can I have my man?
• 12:24
  Speaker 1: How how much do I get? That's a man? I
• 12:31
Speaker 1: can of high well the company doing what my check
• 12:34
Speaker 1: man he ain't shouldn't have been And dog, this ain't
• 12:39
Speaker 1: even my life. It's not when you turn the table
• 12:43
Speaker 1: over or something Oh yeah, that's that wasn't gonna work.
• 12:46
Speaker 1: I had sold all right, man, I had ordered a
• 12:49
Speaker 1: seventy eight cutless my commission. What's gonna I was gonna
• 12:56
Speaker 1: be able to get that cutless? Yeah. I went to
• 12:59
Speaker 1: the people's house three times. A lady said, this is great.
• 13:01
Speaker 1: I just want you to meet my husband. I explained
• 13:04
Speaker 1: that to this white dude. He said, that's great, We're
• 13:07
Speaker 1: not gonna get it. And I had bought the white
• 13:12
Speaker 1: staring whill wrap for my cutlers. That's all I had
• 13:16
Speaker 1: to mark. He said, we're not gonna get it and
• 13:20
Speaker 1: made me understood. I stood up at that kitchen table
• 13:23
Speaker 1: and turned that little table over. I got to work
• 13:27
Speaker 1: the next day. Everybody was looking at me when I
• 13:29
Speaker 1: walked in. Got it, you're fired. You had to give
• 13:35
Speaker 1: your cutlers back. Coming up at thirty minutes, actually the hour,
• 13:39
Speaker 1: asked the CLO. Right after this, you're listening to all right, guys,
• 13:46
Speaker 1: it is time anything else anybody wanted to say about
• 13:50
Speaker 1: their weekend, because now we're ready, it's time to ask
• 13:55
Speaker 1: the CLO. All right. This one is from Dashalla. She
• 14:04
Speaker 1: listens on our podcast. She says, I have three children,
• 14:07
Speaker 1: and my husband told me he wants me to get
• 14:09
Speaker 1: back to the sexy woman that he married. With three
• 14:13
Speaker 1: children under ten, there's no time to be sexy. I
• 14:16
Speaker 1: usually throw on a wig or a hat when I
• 14:18
Speaker 1: leave the house. My husband hates that I love wearing
• 14:20
Speaker 1: sweats and shirt dresses because the clothes cover up my
• 14:23
Speaker 1: great figure. I couldn't care less. I had finally had
• 14:27
Speaker 1: enough of his criticism, so I lit into him and
• 14:30
Speaker 1: it started a big argument. He said he was only
• 14:33
Speaker 1: telling me that for my own good. I feel like
• 14:36
Speaker 1: he's out of line. But should I consider his opinion?
• 14:39
Speaker 1: Am I being too defensive? Well? I think he could
• 14:43
Speaker 1: have approached it maybe a little bit differently. I think
• 14:47
Speaker 1: he has every right to want more from you, but
• 14:50
Speaker 1: then you have every right to not be able to
• 14:53
Speaker 1: give more. You didn't gave three children. I mean, damn,
• 14:58
Speaker 1: that's a big To have three children is a lot.
• 15:02
Speaker 1: I just don't think the average man knows what that is,
• 15:05
Speaker 1: how taxing it is. And then to be a real
• 15:09
Speaker 1: mother is to care about every aspect of the child's life,
• 15:12
Speaker 1: which men don't. Sorry but we don't. And so, yeah,
• 15:17
Speaker 1: I want you to get back to this little sexy
• 15:19
Speaker 1: being you was. Well, then he got to start helping out.
• 15:23
Speaker 1: You know, you gotta get somebody in here that can
• 15:26
Speaker 1: clean and somebody in here that can cook. That all
• 15:28
Speaker 1: free up a lot of time. Then you need somebody
• 15:30
Speaker 1: here to help with this damn homework at a free
• 15:32
Speaker 1: up some more time? Do you need somebody to take
• 15:34
Speaker 1: them to all these little games and practice and after
• 15:36
Speaker 1: school's activity? See this ye half time? It's three kids
• 15:41
Speaker 1: under ten, So you should consider what he's doing. But
• 15:44
Speaker 1: you got to explain to him what all you do.
• 15:47
Speaker 1: And if he don't get that, then you should have
• 15:50
Speaker 1: him take over the duties that you're doing, all of
• 15:52
Speaker 1: them so he can get a glimpse of it. Yeah,
• 15:55
Speaker 1: great answer. I love that answer. And if yeah, it's
• 16:00
Speaker 1: all in your delivery sometime, all right? Oh FRIEDA and
• 16:04
Speaker 1: DC says, I'm a thirty four year old single woman
• 16:07
Speaker 1: and I'm attracted to a man that is a little overweight.
• 16:11
Speaker 1: We hang out together and flirred, but when he talks
• 16:14
Speaker 1: about us dating, I get scared because of his weight
• 16:17
Speaker 1: and what people might say. I like bigger men, but
• 16:21
Speaker 1: my mother and my sister are very judgmental. I would
• 16:25
Speaker 1: have to be. I would hate to be embarrassed on
• 16:28
Speaker 1: a date. If someone stares at us or makes a
• 16:30
Speaker 1: rude comment, should I follow my heart even if I
• 16:33
Speaker 1: have doubts about this guy? Yeah, you should follow your heart.
• 16:37
Speaker 1: But let me ask you question. Know how big is
• 16:43
Speaker 1: talking about people looking at you embarrassed little overweight? Well,
• 16:47
Speaker 1: but she says she liked bigger men. How much bigg
• 16:50
Speaker 1: are we talking? But really, if that's what you like,
• 16:55
Speaker 1: then to heck with your mom and your sister. Yeah,
• 16:58
Speaker 1: he might be a great guy, treat you really, really wonderful.
• 17:01
Speaker 1: But now it's gonna be something coming to weight now,
• 17:05
Speaker 1: but you know, cooking, like you know, like you got
• 17:08
Speaker 1: to think about you know, sleeping and you know waking
• 17:11
Speaker 1: up and you know rolling over and then you know,
• 17:14
Speaker 1: like he'd be laying in then you fall in that
• 17:16
Speaker 1: crease and then he forgets you. There he rolled over
• 17:19
Speaker 1: your ass and smoke. There's a lot of stuff right here.
• 17:22
Speaker 1: And then weight. Yeah, you know, the big people got
• 17:26
Speaker 1: your snows. Skinny people snow too, But when you got
• 17:29
Speaker 1: the weight on you, you really gonna snow, you know.
• 17:33
Speaker 1: So if I was you, I'd go on to date
• 17:36
Speaker 1: the guy. You might be a great guy. You can
• 17:39
Speaker 1: get him to lose weight. You can get a man
• 17:42
Speaker 1: to lose weight. You can't turn nothing dude into a
• 17:45
Speaker 1: great guy, though, So if you got a great guy,
• 17:48
Speaker 1: help him with the flaw. You know you should say
• 17:51
Speaker 1: that again. Well, I mean it's real simple. You can
• 17:53
Speaker 1: take a guy with a flaw, you can help him
• 17:55
Speaker 1: with his flaw. You can't turn a nothing guy into
• 17:58
Speaker 1: a great man. But you can take a great man
• 18:00
Speaker 1: with a flaw and help him with the flaw. You
• 18:03
Speaker 1: can get him to eat right, tell him you love
• 18:05
Speaker 1: him more. Why don't you put the proposal to him?
• 18:07
Speaker 1: Why don't you say, Hey, look, i'd love to consider
• 18:10
Speaker 1: taking this, but I really want you to be healthy
• 18:13
Speaker 1: because I don't want to fall in love with a
• 18:15
Speaker 1: man that's not gonna be here. So let's start dating.
• 18:19
Speaker 1: But I want you to actively work on eating better
• 18:21
Speaker 1: because I want to be healthy. I want to live
• 18:23
Speaker 1: a long life. If you present that to a man,
• 18:26
Speaker 1: he'll go, WHOA wait a minute, I get this chick
• 18:28
Speaker 1: if I just start eating baked chicken instead of fried chick.
• 18:34
Speaker 1: Because she says she's attracted to him, yeah, he's just
• 18:37
Speaker 1: a big sexy right now. That's a good, big off thing.
• 18:41
Speaker 1: And that's a treat from from love sexy. She did
• 18:45
Speaker 1: not say all of that. Why don't you get all
• 18:51
Speaker 1: of that out of a little overwey? She worried about
• 18:56
Speaker 1: what people gonna say when they see each see him
• 18:58
Speaker 1: with each other. That's what it is. That's embarrassing. That's
• 19:02
  Speaker 1: that's that's that's embarrassment fat. There's no such thing. It
• 19:10
Speaker 1: is what All right, we're moving on. Did you say
• 19:16
Speaker 1: all you needed to say a little overweight? All right?
• 19:19
Speaker 1: Great to say that. James in a small town, that's it,
• 19:26
Speaker 1: just in a small town, says I'm a twenty seven
• 19:29
Speaker 1: year old man, and I had an ugly breakup with
• 19:31
Speaker 1: a woman I dated for three years. I cheated on
• 19:34
Speaker 1: her a few times, and she broke up with me.
• 19:37
Speaker 1: Since then, she's told everybody that I'm terrible in the bedroom,
• 19:42
Speaker 1: and I'm the tiniest man she's ever been with. I
• 19:46
Speaker 1: feel like every girl has heard the rumor, and I
• 19:49
Speaker 1: know for sure all of my boys have. My uncle
• 19:52
Speaker 1: said when he was young, one of his friends was
• 19:54
Speaker 1: called tiny because his wife told everyone in town that
• 19:57
Speaker 1: he was tiny. How I stopped this before it gets worse? Yeah,
• 20:02
Speaker 1: you got to move dog a small town. Yeah, you're
• 20:10
Speaker 1: not feeling to fix that? You need to get up
• 20:12
Speaker 1: into a big city. You didn't go from small town
• 20:15
Speaker 1: to big city. Your reputation is gone. You ain't ever
• 20:19
Speaker 1: getting it back. You ain't ever getting it back. The
• 20:23
Speaker 1: only way you can get it back you you ain't
• 20:25
Speaker 1: gonna be able to do that. That's what he gets
• 20:27
Speaker 1: for cheating. You got to release photos online, shop edited
• 20:33
Speaker 1: photos yourself. You know, biker shorts with big prints in it.
• 20:38
Speaker 1: That's what you're gonna have to. Yeah, you got to
• 20:41
Speaker 1: move that Lanta home. All right, Celo, thank you so much.
• 20:48
Speaker 1: Great as usual. Coming up next, Church Complaints with Rebend
• 20:51
Speaker 1: Motown and Deacon def Jam. Right after this, you're listening
• 20:56
Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at the top of
• 20:59
Speaker 1: the hour, and this Ana standing by with today's national news,
• 21:02
Speaker 1: plus an entertainment news, Carlo's Music News, and did you
• 21:05
Speaker 1: guys check out the multi part series Genius Arita starring
• 21:09
Speaker 1: Cynthia Arrivo. Well, we'll talk about all of these stories
• 21:12
Speaker 1: at the top of the hour, and we'll also have
• 21:14
Speaker 1: today's entertainment news. But right now, it's Monday and it's
• 21:18
Speaker 1: time for Church Complaints with Reverend Motown and Deacon deaf
• 21:21
Speaker 1: Jam in the building again. Monday morning brings about oh vivitness,
• 21:35
Speaker 1: oh virtuosity, and complaints. But we gather are in a
• 21:44
Speaker 1: most gregarious way to perpitulate some of the things that
• 21:52
Speaker 1: are being abstin nigs him after jack pot joint over
• 22:00
Speaker 1: oh jack part joint of Jerusalem. Here is the bipartisans
• 22:07
Speaker 1: of essence of complaints that is bringing him now none
• 22:11
Speaker 1: other than the barbit you with himself. I say that
• 22:18
Speaker 1: I don't like BABBITU with him. Okay, I see what
• 22:25
Speaker 1: you're trying to do. Donate on this vocabulary, deacon, but
• 22:30
Speaker 1: you you side what he was doing. It's to play
• 22:33
Speaker 1: on what he strong. Vocabulary is strong. Let's get down
• 22:37
Speaker 1: to it. Because a lot of these complaints this morning
• 22:41
Speaker 1: and that have been sent in about you as usual,
• 22:47
Speaker 1: it's come to our attention that your church has got
• 22:49
Speaker 1: a big stimulus Chick, what do you plan on doing
• 22:53
Speaker 1: with it? Well, we're gonna stimulate the church with it. Man,
• 23:00
Speaker 1: what what? What? What what does that mean? Well, we're
• 23:04
Speaker 1: tired of looking like the poish church in the city,
• 23:09
Speaker 1: So we're gonna start by parking a new vehicle in
• 23:13
Speaker 1: front of the church. And where that new vehicle be
• 23:17
Speaker 1: coming from? Din, I just tell you that you was
• 23:21
Speaker 1: getting a large stimulus check for the church. For the church,
• 23:26
Speaker 1: the church is gonna purchase a new vehicle, so to
• 23:30
Speaker 1: start with the hour of the piers, that we got
• 23:33
Speaker 1: more going on inside than actually is, and who would
• 23:37
Speaker 1: be driving this car? I will of course again that's
• 23:46
Speaker 1: for starters with the stimulus chicken buying a car with
• 23:50
Speaker 1: the church. And then if there's any money left, we're
• 23:53
Speaker 1: gonna buy at least half the quiet new roles. Everybody
• 24:04
Speaker 1: with rolls on in the other half ain't gonna hand on. Well,
• 24:07
Speaker 1: what well hell they have singing? You wrote for that?
• 24:15
Speaker 1: That's you along here. We also found out that you
• 24:18
Speaker 1: have been have been after our parties. Why the church
• 24:23
Speaker 1: has been closed, we needn't know that. We also found
• 24:26
Speaker 1: out that you was also charging it did mission. How
• 24:28
Speaker 1: much money have you made with these after our parts?
• 24:31
Speaker 1: I have been opening up the church for after our
• 24:35
Speaker 1: sessions with a cover charge, and all the money is
• 24:40
Speaker 1: going towards the building food. So really that's You're not
• 24:48
Speaker 1: gonna be able to look at me in my face
• 24:50
Speaker 1: and think I might believe that. Now you're trying to
• 24:52
Speaker 1: tell me you didn't you didn't got this money. You've
• 24:55
Speaker 1: been making this money. Didn't nobody know you was doing this?
• 24:58
Speaker 1: And what do you mean session? What is a sessions?
• 25:03
Speaker 1: Hardest I'm doing after our counseling for Waywood and Bereath.
• 25:09
Speaker 1: People who don't come to church. No, they say it's
• 25:16
Speaker 1: music blasting and people are parting in there. You got
• 25:18
Speaker 1: to get him in here some kind of way. Now,
• 25:24
Speaker 1: the churches for the sick and the best way to
• 25:26
Speaker 1: get six people that have a club. You might not
• 25:31
Speaker 1: be seeking him, but he surely is looking for you.
• 25:34
Speaker 1: Preached out next yourself. Oh y'all. Oh, they want you
• 25:44
Speaker 1: to talk to our sister Tania Jobs. Now, the late
• 25:48
Speaker 1: sister Tania just had a set of twins about two
• 25:50
Speaker 1: weeks ago. We want to congratulate latter, but I guess
• 25:53
Speaker 1: due to the situation that we were we are in.
• 25:56
Speaker 1: He named these twins covidine and vaccine, cobadine and vaccins
• 26:05
Speaker 1: and vaccinine, and it's just band passing. We want you
• 26:08
Speaker 1: to talk. Mabe gonna leave these babies names as they is.
• 26:14
Speaker 1: Women have found various levels of inspiration when they have
• 26:19
Speaker 1: children or that's the birth of a Lexus Cities or
• 26:26
Speaker 1: Sister Gail d Lexus and Mercedes because she always wanted
• 26:31
Speaker 1: a Hiend automobile. They didn't get it, but she got
• 26:34
Speaker 1: to two children, so that's what the inspiration was. So
• 26:40
Speaker 1: codine and vaccine it's gonna have to stay. Brother Patterson
• 26:46
Speaker 1: had two boys last week and he named one of
• 26:49
Speaker 1: them Fiser and the other one Moderna. It's all so
• 26:55
Speaker 1: it's here. The city is what it is, you know,
• 27:03
Speaker 1: all right. There's another lady that had another church, had
• 27:09
Speaker 1: a boring girl, twins, and one of them is named
• 27:12
Speaker 1: Vina and the other one was later. Okay, bro for that,
• 27:20
Speaker 1: all right, Brother Lennard Davis, he needs our help. He
• 27:26
Speaker 1: he died his bed and then he put his mask
• 27:28
Speaker 1: on too early. Now the mask is one other thing.
• 27:32
Speaker 1: I had one other set of twins that was born
• 27:37
Speaker 1: and they're not identical either. Any the just names is
• 27:42
Speaker 1: going crazy. There's a set of twins in Brunswick, Georgia.
• 27:47
Speaker 1: Their names is a pandemic in quarantine, pandemic and quarantine,
• 28:00
Speaker 1: not either male or female. Baby. I didn't know, but
• 28:05
Speaker 1: they're not identical. He didn't. You're like that's always been saying,
• 28:14
Speaker 1: always mind your p's and quay who dropping knowledge yourself?
• 28:23
Speaker 1: All right? Let me know what you want to do
• 28:24
Speaker 1: with our brother, Like I said, brother Lenna, David died
• 28:27
Speaker 1: his bed and got his mask stuck on it and
• 28:29
Speaker 1: that won't come off, and he is he can't eat
• 28:32
Speaker 1: nothing or nothing because the mask is stuck to his face.
• 28:34
Speaker 1: So how do you want to help this man? Will? Oh,
• 28:39
Speaker 1: that's terrible. That could also be a good lesson for
• 28:42
Speaker 1: one of our letters that we had on the CLO
• 28:46
Speaker 1: she's dating a heavy setting man and she's embarrassed buying.
• 28:50
Speaker 1: Maybe if she put a mask on his face, his
• 28:54
Speaker 1: fat ass could trim up. That's a good weight loss program,
• 28:59
Speaker 1: and especially if you put the mask on wat gorilla glue. Well,
• 29:05
Speaker 1: thank you, Pat. Coming up on the top of the
• 29:13
Speaker 1: our Entertainment and National News right after this, you're listening
• 29:18
Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. In today's Entertainment News. First, Carla,

Speaker 1: killed it crusted. Did you say you heard Earth Winning
• 30:41
Speaker 1: five s versus the damn Osley Brothers? I did. I
• 30:47
Speaker 1: said that April fourth. You're talking about the Osley Brothers
• 30:51
Speaker 1: that has twenty three platinum albums, the baby one. You're
• 30:59
Speaker 1: talking about that damn living legend himself, Ronal Osley. Yes, sir,
• 31:05
Speaker 1: who is the personal friend of mine? Yes, sir, I
• 31:10
Speaker 1: guess the greatest damn group ever the elements of the universe.
• 31:20
Speaker 1: When and so I know about what? What? How do
• 31:24
Speaker 1: you think the Bad Lot of Gold Charlotte Name name name,
• 31:30
Speaker 1: name a song by any of them, and I'm gonna
• 31:32
Speaker 1: tell you what they're gonna come back with. Uh, let's
• 31:35
Speaker 1: see um. Okay, between the sheets, between the sheets, loves Holiday, Okay,
• 31:44
Speaker 1: footsteps in the dog, footsteps in the dog, kn't high love?
• 31:52
Speaker 1: Make me saying it? The game game reasons okay? I
• 32:04
Speaker 1: mean the ass is batting? Yes, pick up the pace
• 32:09
Speaker 1: a little bit? What you want? Okay, groove tonight. Let's
• 32:12
Speaker 1: groove tonight. Let's groove tonight. No, that's Earth winning five. Yes,
• 32:20
Speaker 1: that's what you fired. Oh I thought you were talking
• 32:23
Speaker 1: about then, Isa Brothers, I want to grow September fight
• 32:36
Speaker 1: the power. Yeah, yeah, Okay, this battle it's gonna be ugly.
• 32:43
Speaker 1: There will be no winner in this versus. I'm gonna
• 32:48
Speaker 1: tell you right now, that's really shocking because the Osley
• 32:55
Speaker 1: Brothers hits h Yeah. Yeah, You're not gonna be able
• 33:00
Speaker 1: to shut them down. Who's a lady five lady they
• 33:10

• 33:15
Speaker 1: to the versus where fire for that be sitting there
• 33:22
Speaker 1: with one of my old last suits. I'm going there
• 33:26
Speaker 1: and be dressed like oh Bruno Mars and uh Anderson
• 33:31
Speaker 1: Pat Well, Trip, I want to watch that one too.
• 33:38
Speaker 1: Good morning, everybody. This is Antrip with the News. Thousands
• 33:41
Speaker 1: of people demonstrated against anti Asian violence over the weekend
• 33:44
Speaker 1: and cities across the country. There are also some black
• 33:47
Speaker 1: and Asian anti racism rallies in several cities, including New
• 33:50
Speaker 1: York City. Meanwhile, FBI Director Chris Ray says that from
• 33:53
Speaker 1: where he sits, it doesn't seem like the killings of
• 33:55
Speaker 1: eight people in three Atlanta area massage parlors were racially motivated,
• 33:59
Speaker 1: even though all but two of the victims where Asian
• 34:01
Speaker 1: women and another victim was Hispanic. However, Illinois Democratic Senator
• 34:05
Speaker 1: Tammy Duckworth, one of the only two Asian members in
• 34:08
Speaker 1: the Congress, says, on CBS's face, the nation ends differently.
• 34:11
Speaker 1: It looks racially motivated to me. I have actually sent
• 34:14
Speaker 1: a letter to Director Ray and to Attorney General Garland
• 34:18
Speaker 1: asking for a deeper investigation into crimes that involve Asian
• 34:23
Speaker 1: Americans to see how many crimes have actually been underreported
• 34:26
Speaker 1: as hate crimes, and US Attorney Merrick Garlands says his
• 34:29
Speaker 1: office is looking into that Miami Beach remains under a
• 34:32
Speaker 1: state of emergencies. Authorities say that spring break crowds have
• 34:35
Speaker 1: been cramming the beaches, trashing some restaurant property, and inviolation
• 34:39
Speaker 1: of the Miami Beaches Emergency eight pm to six pm
• 34:42
Speaker 1: six am curfew. All this on the heels of the
• 34:45
Speaker 1: state of Florida's decision to lift all COVID nineteen restrictions,
• 34:48
Speaker 1: including mask wearing. City officials have been urging tourists and
• 34:51
Speaker 1: hotel guests to stay indoors, especially in the evening. However,
• 34:54
Speaker 1: the Miami Day Black Affairs Advisory Committee is pointed to
• 34:57
Speaker 1: what they say has been an unnecessary overuse of force
• 35:01
Speaker 1: against people of color, down the ecops using a swat
• 35:04
Speaker 1: truck and pepper balls and sound cannons instead of employing
• 35:07
Speaker 1: simple crowd control techniques. In fact, one thousand people have
• 35:10
Speaker 1: been arrested in Miami Beach for disorderly conduct. The Chicago
• 35:14
Speaker 1: suburb of Evanston, Illinois, about to become the first usc
• 35:18
Speaker 1: to offer preay reparations to black residents whose families suffered
• 35:22
Speaker 1: lasting damages due to decades of racial discriminatory practices in Eviston,
• 35:26
Speaker 1: from home ownership to business ownership. The Everston City Council
• 35:29
Speaker 1: already committed to ten million dollars to the effort, to
• 35:32
Speaker 1: vote later on today to begin dolling out four hundred
• 35:34
Speaker 1: thousand dollars in payments. And finally, some new research looks
• 35:39
Speaker 1: a little kooky when you first hear it, so here goes.
• 35:42
Speaker 1: Researchers say that if you sleep easier, you will sleep easier.
• 35:46
Speaker 1: And this is the crazy part. If you worry about
• 35:48
Speaker 1: caffeine keeping you up, I don't know if the guy
• 35:53
Speaker 1: sounds pretty drowsy there. According to a new study, regular
• 35:55
Speaker 1: caffeine consumption does not actually disrupt sleep, but consuming caffeine,
• 35:59
Speaker 1: even for a short period of time can actually change
• 36:01
Speaker 1: the volume of cognitive gray matter. All this stuff means
• 36:04
Speaker 1: that you might actually go to sleep. Now back to
• 36:06
Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Mornings. You're listening. I've been waiting. It's
• 36:12
Speaker 1: been more than a week or so. A resident poet
• 36:15
Speaker 1: is back with a brand new poem. It is springtime.
• 36:20
Speaker 1: Let us Yeah, it is the first day of spring.
• 36:23
Speaker 1: Shows you a right. I wrote a poem by spring. Yes,
• 36:27
Speaker 1: But before we get to the poem, I would like
• 36:28
Speaker 1: to wish Janathony Brown a happy birthday. He's not birthday,
• 36:34
Speaker 1: Anthony Brown, just one sad birthday, Jeff thinking about thank
• 36:37
Speaker 1: you for being my writing pot. And I appreciate you, Jay,
• 36:39
Speaker 1: and I loved And this poem here is Firthday Springs
• 36:42
Speaker 1: birthday seventy nine. Jay is damn now out here a
• 36:50
Speaker 1: year older. I thank you, But you know sure, it
• 36:55
Speaker 1: is the first day of spring. So I wrote a
• 36:57
Speaker 1: poem and it's called forth Dance Ring Genius. That's what
• 37:02
Speaker 1: I got. Y yeah, yeah, surely it'd be deep because
• 37:08
Speaker 1: it come it, come and go, come and go, So
• 37:10
Speaker 1: you gotta get it. So here it go. First day spring,
• 37:14
Speaker 1: it's the first day in spring, ringa ding ding. Time
• 37:19
Speaker 1: to go outside and hit the robbing sceing with your
• 37:22
Speaker 1: mask one. Play some flowers, go to the lake. But
• 37:26
Speaker 1: whatever you do, keep your mask one. For goodness sake.
• 37:29
Speaker 1: It's time for short sleeves and dresses and fat biker
• 37:33
Speaker 1: vessels because that's gonna come out in the spring. So
• 37:36
Speaker 1: the first day spring, ring a ding ding, go outside,
• 37:40
Speaker 1: hit the robbing scene with your mask one the end?
• 37:43
Speaker 1: Got it it? Wo? Got it? Ring here baby, I'm
• 37:50
Speaker 1: talking about don't I'm talking about making the announcement spring here?
• 37:54
Speaker 1: Got it? Didn't that? What did you hit the rigga
• 37:58
Speaker 1: d ding through that in? Just let you that Ryan
• 38:00
Speaker 1: was spring Yeah, because sen Car, that's all where I
• 38:03
Speaker 1: put it in there, because Ryan was springing? Did like that?
• 38:07
Speaker 1: What junior of your poetry normally? But what was the
• 38:12
Speaker 1: fat biker vest? Yeah? I think about it because you know,
• 38:15
Speaker 1: you have to think about people dressing up with short
• 38:16
Speaker 1: sleeves and dresses and fat biker vests because you're gonna
• 38:19
Speaker 1: see a lot of that this summer's Yes, vests, you know,
• 38:24
Speaker 1: like the vestus, they don't fit on the more than
• 38:28
Speaker 1: one you talk about the motorcycle riding. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
• 38:36
Speaker 1: you come out there's more than one shell. Everybody on
• 38:43
Speaker 1: it fats. Yes. You couldn't even say right now, you
• 38:50
Speaker 1: couldn't get out. Y'all have vests in here because you
• 38:54
Speaker 1: want to make sure they have a varide. You don't
• 38:57
Speaker 1: go in the store and said, do you have vests?
• 39:00
Speaker 1: I just want want to see the best? Hey, what
• 39:03
Speaker 1: a vestist got? The Besist Show? Carla? Everyone got Carla Hallo.
• 39:11
Speaker 1: You've been by snatime since pandemic start all right? Well,
• 39:18
Speaker 1: thank you, Junior got it coming up at thirty four
• 39:23

• 39:27
Speaker 1: asking her fans not to buy her music and we'll
• 39:30
Speaker 1: tell you why. Right after this, you're listening to the
• 39:33
Speaker 1: String Show. Well, there's a lot of trending music news today.
• 39:39
Speaker 1: Did you guys hear that Anita Baker has asked her
• 39:42
Speaker 1: fans not to buy her music because she's in a
• 39:46
Speaker 1: battle with her record company for her masters. Okay. Anita
• 39:49
Speaker 1: has posted a number of tweets stating that she has
• 39:52
Speaker 1: outlived her contract and that her masters, uh those are
• 39:56
Speaker 1: the ones that she rightfully owns, are not in her possession.
• 40:01
Speaker 1: According to Yahoo dot com, music experts are saying that
• 40:04
Speaker 1: Anita Baker is referencing the copyright reversion, which allows musicians
• 40:10
Speaker 1: to retain their copyrights after thirty five years, but some
• 40:13
Speaker 1: say that law doesn't mean that reversion is immediate or automatic. Well,
• 40:18
Speaker 1: Anita Baker is sixty three years old, and she says
• 40:21
Speaker 1: the time is up until she regains those copyrights. She
• 40:25
Speaker 1: is asking her fans to avoid buying these albums. Listen
• 40:29
Speaker 1: carefully the song Stress, Rapture and Compositions. Uh. Those albums
• 40:34
Speaker 1: include songs like and These were hits, Sweet Love, Caught
• 40:37
Speaker 1: Up in the Rapture, and getting You the Best that
• 40:39
Speaker 1: I Got, all of which Anita Baker co wrote. Okay, yea,

• 44:39
Speaker 1: an open relationship? Mm? We'll find it find out in

Speaker 1: What you got next for? No? Hey, hair weaves? Oh? No,
• 44:57
Speaker 1: hair weeds. Okay, hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach Resa,
• 45:05
Speaker 1: please reesa. Hi Resa. My name is Byron, Byron from
• 45:10
Speaker 1: the job. How are you. I'm okay, how are you buying?
• 45:12
Speaker 1: I'm good. Listen. I hate to call you after hours
• 45:15
Speaker 1: at your home, but there has been some new issues
• 45:18
Speaker 1: that will be going into effect. That was just tomorrow morning,
• 45:21
Speaker 1: and we're calling everyone letting them know the new changes
• 45:25
Speaker 1: that have been issued that will take effect first thing
• 45:28
Speaker 1: tomorrow morning. So we're giving everyone a call, So don't
• 45:31
Speaker 1: be alarmed. It's just giving a call letting you know
• 45:33
Speaker 1: what the what the higher ups have changed. Okay, okay,
• 45:37
Speaker 1: there's no problem to listen. Okay, as up tomorrow, what's
• 45:40
Speaker 1: gonna happen is when you guys come in, you'll be
• 45:42
Speaker 1: issued a new key card, and that particular card will
• 45:45
Speaker 1: actually registers when you come in and go out. Okay, okay,
• 45:49
Speaker 1: all right. Second one is there will no longer be
• 45:52
Speaker 1: any personal internet at the job any longer. You won't
• 45:56
Speaker 1: be able they're actually putting a block on all computers.
• 45:59
Speaker 1: All the computers will no longer be able to go
• 46:01
Speaker 1: to a lot of these sites that you guys go
• 46:04
Speaker 1: to that you've been um that's been available here in
• 46:07
Speaker 1: the past. Okay, okay, all right. The last one is
• 46:11
Speaker 1: reesa do you, um, do you wear a hair weave?
• 46:14
Speaker 1: What do you wear a hair weave or a wig? Yes? Okay,
• 46:19
Speaker 1: Well here's one thing and hopefully you can get this
• 46:22
Speaker 1: change about tomorrow. There's no weaves or hair or wigs
• 46:26
Speaker 1: gonna be allowed at the job site from this point on.
• 46:30
Speaker 1: So as of tomorrow morning, everyone must be wearing their
• 46:33
Speaker 1: natural hair. You're joking. Uh No, These are the issues
• 46:38
Speaker 1: that are going to be that are in stated, and
• 46:40
Speaker 1: these are going to take effect as of tomorrow morning,
• 46:42
Speaker 1: seven o'clock. What does hair weave to have to do
• 46:45
Speaker 1: with any of these changes? The first two I can
• 46:47
Speaker 1: understand punching in and being on the internet. Yes, that's
• 46:51
Speaker 1: something that that corporate. But hair weave and weas do
• 46:55
Speaker 1: you get an interchanging? Are they're looking down upon it?
• 47:00
Speaker 1: Wigs and hair weaves they have to go. So I'm
• 47:04
Speaker 1: assuming that if you, like you said, you do have one,
• 47:08
Speaker 1: it doesn't come out taking it down now and prepare
• 47:12
Speaker 1: your hair to be natural as you come in to
• 47:14
Speaker 1: work tomorrow. I'm not taking my hair down. I've been
• 47:16
Speaker 1: here seven years and I've dealt with all the changes
• 47:19
Speaker 1: that y'all have made. But there's no way that I'm
• 47:21
Speaker 1: taking my hair weave down. I'm sorry. What's your name, Byron? Yes?
• 47:25
Speaker 1: My name is Byron, and I'm sorry. Let's get back
• 47:29
Speaker 1: to your weave. This has you're gonna have to do something.
• 47:32
Speaker 1: Is there someone that you can call tonight to help
• 47:34
Speaker 1: you get your hair down and so you can look
• 47:36
Speaker 1: presentable with your natural hair tomorrow. No, my weave calls
• 47:40
Speaker 1: over two three hundred dollars and I'm not about to
• 47:43
Speaker 1: take that down. I mean, it takes them long to
• 47:45
Speaker 1: them to take that down. Okay, I mean, is this
• 47:49
Speaker 1: something Maybe you can take it down and just wear
• 47:51
Speaker 1: it on the weekends because as of now, you're not
• 47:54
Speaker 1: going to be allowed to actually wear it on the property.
• 47:57
Speaker 1: And how will you know if someone has a weave
• 47:59
Speaker 1: or not? Are you gonna do head checks or something? Okay, ma'am,
• 48:03
Speaker 1: I'm not quite sure what they're gonna do to check it,
• 48:05
Speaker 1: but by you telling me that you you have a weave,
• 48:10
Speaker 1: then I have to write it down that you have
• 48:12
Speaker 1: confirmed that you do, and we got to make sure
• 48:14
Speaker 1: that tomorrow morning you're not wearing one. But you don't
• 48:17
Speaker 1: know what my natural hair looks like from my weave.
• 48:20
Speaker 1: You heard how much I pay for it, so it's
• 48:22
Speaker 1: a good weave, ma'am. It's not about how good you
• 48:26
Speaker 1: know the quality of your weaver or anything. They don't
• 48:29
Speaker 1: want it. They want natural hair. I don't know what
• 48:31
Speaker 1: that means. But they're going natural, they're going green, they're
• 48:34
Speaker 1: going natural. I don't know what it is. They're going natural,
• 48:37
Speaker 1: and so are you. Tomorrow morning, you need to come
• 48:39
Speaker 1: in with your hair completely down. Okay, I'm gonna do it.
• 48:43
Speaker 1: I'm not checking my weave now. Okay, what is that
• 48:46
Speaker 1: y'all gonna write me up or something? Okay, ma'am. Do
• 48:48
Speaker 1: you not want your job? Yeah? I want my job,
• 48:50
Speaker 1: But this don't make no sense. You're talking about personal appearance.
• 48:54
Speaker 1: I can understand y'all have a dress coach and enforcing
• 48:57
Speaker 1: a dress code, that's one thing. But telling somebody to
• 49:01
Speaker 1: change that you emotion your mind. Man, You're crazy. Man.
• 49:05
Speaker 1: I'm not gonna I have other people that I have
• 49:06
Speaker 1: to call. Bottom line is get your hat out and
• 49:10
Speaker 1: get your butt into work tomorrow, and let's not go
• 49:12
Speaker 1: back and forth anymore. Okay, well, listen, buy ranch. You're
• 49:16
Speaker 1: a low mind. If you're thinking I'm taking my weave,
• 49:19
Speaker 1: I'm not taking out at all. Risa is coming up
• 49:23
Speaker 1: in there with her hair and I'm gonna sit down
• 49:25
Speaker 1: at my desk and do my job. Y'all gonna have
• 49:28
Speaker 1: to drag me up that have some weave? You lost
• 49:31
Speaker 1: your mind? You and your powers that be or whoever
• 49:34
Speaker 1: they may be. You tell them that I said that. Women, women, listen,
• 49:38
Speaker 1: Are you telling me that you're coming in regardless with
• 49:40
Speaker 1: your hair on? Right? That's what I just said. Okay,
• 49:45
Speaker 1: are you then then we need to Why don't you
• 49:48
Speaker 1: go ahead and bring some boxes in because you may
• 49:52
Speaker 1: I'm not you bring this man, I don't want to
• 49:54
Speaker 1: have to pack. You get your stuff and box it up,
• 49:57
Speaker 1: and you're losing your job because you can't take it. No,
• 50:00
Speaker 1: you can do that, because I'm an Call the news
• 50:02
Speaker 1: station and tell him you're dragging me out of go
• 50:04
Speaker 1: behind some weeds. Who wrong? You're wrong, You're wrong, You're stupid.
• 50:10
Speaker 1: Are you gonna? You need to watch your language on
• 50:12
Speaker 1: the lady, Well, I need to watch my language. I'm
• 50:13
Speaker 1: at home. You call me on my own home phone
• 50:16
Speaker 1: and my time. I'm at my house. I'm not on
• 50:19
Speaker 1: your flock. I say what I want to say on
• 50:21
Speaker 1: my phone. Okay? Can I say what I want on
• 50:24
Speaker 1: my phone? And then I'll let you go and you
• 50:25
Speaker 1: can come into the work anyway you want to tomorrow?

• 53:53
Speaker 1: we gotta say something about Genius Arethah. It premiered last night.
• 54:00
Speaker 1: Cynthia Arrivo starred as Aretha. She's excellent. I must say
• 54:05
Speaker 1: she can, and yes she can, and she nailed it,
• 54:10
Speaker 1: she really did. I can't wait to see the upcoming
• 54:13
Speaker 1: um episodes. Courtney Bevans, of course, played her dad, Reverend
• 54:18
Speaker 1: Seal Franklin. So I mean it's good, it's really good.
• 54:23
  Speaker 1: It's eight I think it's eight episodes surely, so they're
• 54:25
Speaker 1: gonna do it over four nights spans, so it's some
• 54:30
Speaker 1: multi part series. Like Shirley was saying earlier. It's good though.
• 54:33
Speaker 1: I watched her last night. Go sit the favorite singer Aretha. Yes, remember, yeah,
• 54:38
Speaker 1: we were all in Paris when we found out that
• 54:40

• 55:32
Speaker 1: Subject am I in an Open Relationships? Dear Stephen Shirley.
• 55:36
Speaker 1: I'm a thirty six year old married woman and my
• 55:39
Speaker 1: husband just turned forty, So we went on a weekend
• 55:43
Speaker 1: getaway to Las Vegas with another married couple that we
• 55:48
Speaker 1: have known for years. We got to our hotel suite
• 55:51
Speaker 1: and we were drinking and eating and having a good time,
• 55:54
Speaker 1: just the four of us. The guys went down to
• 55:57
Speaker 1: the bar around eleven PM for a nightcap. I was
• 56:00
Speaker 1: so tipsy and tired that I decided to lie across
• 56:03
Speaker 1: my bed until my husband came back. I woke up
• 56:06
Speaker 1: around three a m. And my husband was not in
• 56:09
Speaker 1: the bed. I found him asleep on the couch and
• 56:13
Speaker 1: a girl was lying under him, almost hidden by his body.
• 56:18
Speaker 1: I shook her first and then him. They both had
• 56:22
Speaker 1: on their clothes, but I demanded some answers. He said
• 56:25
Speaker 1: She followed him upstairs because he wanted her to have
• 56:28
Speaker 1: a threesome with us, but I was passed out drunk.
• 56:32
Speaker 1: I started screaming so loudly I woke up the other couple.
• 56:36
Speaker 1: They came running out, and a woman came out of
• 56:39
Speaker 1: the room with them. My husband took me into our
• 56:42
Speaker 1: room and he told me that they all had a
• 56:44
Speaker 1: sex party, and he tried to wake me up, but
• 56:47
Speaker 1: I was out of it. He said he enjoyed himself,
• 56:51
Speaker 1: but he didn't go all the way with any of
• 56:53
Speaker 1: the women. He said he fooled around with the other
• 56:56
Speaker 1: wife that came with us, and her husband didn't care
• 56:59
Speaker 1: because they've always had an open marriage. Before we got married,
• 57:03
Speaker 1: my husband and I had a manage twap, but that
• 57:07
Speaker 1: was eight years ago. Now I feel guilty since I
• 57:10
Speaker 1: allowed this to happen before. I don't talk to the
• 57:14
Speaker 1: couple we went to Vegas with anymore, but my husband
• 57:17
Speaker 1: is still friendly with him. Am I in an open marriage?
• 57:20
Speaker 1: Please help? Well, honestly, no, you're not in an open marriage.
• 57:26
  Speaker 1: I don't think you're in an open relationship. I think
• 57:29
Speaker 1: your husband thinks he's in an open relationship, and he
• 57:34
Speaker 1: can't say it's because of what happened eight years ago.
• 57:36
Speaker 1: Don't even let him try that one, because things change,
• 57:40
Speaker 1: people change, And if you guys, you know, I haven't
• 57:43
Speaker 1: had any kind of sex with other people since then,
• 57:45
Speaker 1: I would say that that part of the marriage is over,
• 57:49
Speaker 1: or the relationship is over. But maybe it's not with him.
• 57:53
Speaker 1: Obviously it's not with him. Maybe it was always in
• 57:55
Speaker 1: the back of his mind. He just needed the proper setting,
• 57:59
Speaker 1: you know, to make that happen. I don't think this
• 58:04
Speaker 1: was premeditated. I'll say that maybe the excessive alcohol is
• 58:08
Speaker 1: to blame. But either way, he and your friends have
• 58:12
Speaker 1: some explaining to do. They really do. Because you feel betrayed,
• 58:16
Speaker 1: you're mad, you're upset, you feel disrespected, and by all means,
• 58:20
Speaker 1: if you're against open marriages and swinging and najtois now
• 58:25
Speaker 1: and all that stuff, well you gotta let your husband know.
• 58:28
Speaker 1: He just can't assume, you know, just because you all
• 58:31
Speaker 1: go to Vegas together and get drunk, you know that
• 58:35
Speaker 1: you could just bring a woman into the room. You
• 58:38
Speaker 1: can't do that in a marriage. He should know you
• 58:41
Speaker 1: better than that. And that's where I followed him. I
• 58:43
Speaker 1: follow him, of course for doing it, but just assuming
• 58:46
Speaker 1: that you'd be okay with it. Yeah, he should know
• 58:50
Speaker 1: you better than that. And you're definitely not in an
• 58:54
Speaker 1: open marriage. And I think if he wants to continue
• 58:56
Speaker 1: being married to you, he's got to make that clear
• 59:00
Speaker 1: that you're not in an open marriage. And I don't
• 59:02
Speaker 1: blame you for not speaking to the other couple, Steve.
• 59:08
Speaker 1: I don't know what letter you read. The question is
• 59:13
Speaker 1: am I in an open relationship? The answer is your
• 59:16
Speaker 1: ass is in a wide open ass relationship in this
• 59:21
Speaker 1: ain't no marriage. Am I in an open relationship? No,
• 59:25
Speaker 1: ma'am You in a wide open, wide open relationship. Everything
• 59:32
Speaker 1: in him, your thirty six year you and your husband
• 59:35
Speaker 1: he turned forty. Y'all went to Vegas with another married
• 59:37
Speaker 1: couple that y'all have known for years. Yeahn't know him
• 59:41
Speaker 1: that good. We got that hotel room, were drinking and eating,
• 59:46
Speaker 1: having a good time, just the four of us. The
• 59:49
Speaker 1: guys went down to the Body eleven for a nightcap.
• 59:51
Speaker 1: Who lead a room at eleven in Vegas? When you
• 59:56
Speaker 1: leave your room, I'm Vegas man. I've been going to Vegas,
• 1:00:00
Speaker 1: one of my favorite places when I was running. And
• 1:00:06
Speaker 1: I left my hotel room at eleven it was to
• 1:00:11
Speaker 1: partake in the nightlife that is Vegas, cigars, drinking, and women.
• 1:00:26
Speaker 1: Well at first two of Steve's response coming up at
• 1:00:28
Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour. Am I in an
• 1:00:31
Speaker 1: open relationship? Is the subject of today's Strawberry letter. Will
• 1:00:34
Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening to show?
• 1:00:40
Speaker 1: All right? Come on, Steve, Let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
• 1:00:43
Speaker 1: Question and subject? Am I in and open relationship? Am
• 1:00:47
Speaker 1: I in an open relationship? Lady? You in a wid
• 1:00:51
Speaker 1: open relationship? You and your marriage is so open it
• 1:00:55
Speaker 1: don't even have a do own it normal? This thing
• 1:01:00
Speaker 1: you just you in a cave. You with a cave
• 1:01:02
Speaker 1: with an opening. Matter of fact, it is really just
• 1:01:05
Speaker 1: a tunnel because it's an opening after back too, because
• 1:01:07
Speaker 1: you can come and go as you please. Yes, you
• 1:01:10
Speaker 1: went one you forty thirty six forty y'all went on
• 1:01:13
Speaker 1: Vegas weekend with another man couple known for years. We
• 1:01:15
Speaker 1: got our hotels, were drinking and even having a good time.
• 1:01:18
Speaker 1: Just the four of us guys went down to the
• 1:01:20
Speaker 1: Body eleven pm for a nightcap. Just the dudes went
• 1:01:24
Speaker 1: downstairs for a nightcap. Didn't y'all say, y'all was upstairs drinking.
• 1:01:29
Speaker 1: Y'all were just upstairs drinking. We're going down stairs for
• 1:01:31
Speaker 1: a nightcap. Ain't saying nothing about gamblet, which is the
• 1:01:35
Speaker 1: main attraction of Vegas. No, they told you we're going
• 1:01:40
Speaker 1: to get a nightcap. I was so tipsy and tired
• 1:01:43
Speaker 1: that I decided to lie across from my bed until
• 1:01:45
Speaker 1: my husband came back. Now, Shirley said in her response,
• 1:01:49
Speaker 1: which could be true that you could blame the alcohol
• 1:01:53
Speaker 1: for some of this. Well, but let's really think about
• 1:01:59
Speaker 1: the power of alcohol, because I'm gonna show you some
• 1:02:02
Speaker 1: things that alcohol can't do. First of all, I woke
• 1:02:08
Speaker 1: up around three am and my husband was not in
• 1:02:11
Speaker 1: the bed. Alcohol can do that. You ain't in the bed.
• 1:02:15
Speaker 1: At three o'clock, I found him asleep on the couch.
• 1:02:19
Speaker 1: Alcohol can do that. But here's why alcohol can't do.
• 1:02:26
Speaker 1: And a girl was lying under him. What see to
• 1:02:33
Speaker 1: get the girl under you? You can't be drunk. You
• 1:02:38
Speaker 1: have to talk her into coming upstairs. Alcohol don't do that,
• 1:02:44
Speaker 1: suave pimp player lines. Get the girl to come upstairs,
• 1:02:51
Speaker 1: and I'll go a little further that and was laying
• 1:02:54
Speaker 1: almost hidden by his body. I shook her first, and
• 1:02:57
Speaker 1: then him what no no, no, no no, no, no, no no.
• 1:03:04
Speaker 1: I don't see how you got to wake up first,
• 1:03:07
Speaker 1: But anyway, that's you. They both had their clothes on.
• 1:03:11
Speaker 1: But I demanded some answers. What see, you're in an
• 1:03:16
Speaker 1: open marriage. You find your husband in your hotel room,
• 1:03:20
Speaker 1: laying on top of a woman on a couch, and
• 1:03:23
Speaker 1: you upstairs, and you demanded some answers, what answer are
• 1:03:27
Speaker 1: you looking for? He laying on top of a woman's sleep.
• 1:03:32
Speaker 1: What answer could he have given you to fix it?
• 1:03:35
Speaker 1: Let's see, he said she followed him upstairs because he
• 1:03:39
Speaker 1: wanted her to have a threesome with us. You know why,
• 1:03:43
Speaker 1: because he thanked y'all in an open marriage. But he
• 1:03:46
Speaker 1: talked a woman into this. She came upstairs. But I
• 1:03:50
Speaker 1: but you was passed out drunk. Now this is where
• 1:03:54
Speaker 1: the confusion starts. I started screaming so loudly that I
• 1:03:58
Speaker 1: woke up to other couple. Now, alcohol don't wake you up.
• 1:04:04
Speaker 1: Alcohol make you fall asleep. But you just screamed so
• 1:04:07
Speaker 1: loud that you woke through a couple up. They came
• 1:04:10
Speaker 1: running out, and a woman came out the room with him.
• 1:04:14
Speaker 1: It's sixty y'all in there. Now, it's six people in
• 1:04:18
Speaker 1: the same hotel suite white an alcohol that in this hill.
• 1:04:24
Speaker 1: My husband took me into our room and told me
• 1:04:27
Speaker 1: that they all had a sex party. What they all
• 1:04:33
Speaker 1: had a sex party? And he tried to wake me up,
• 1:04:36
Speaker 1: but I was out of it. He said he enjoyed himself.
• 1:04:39
Speaker 1: You know why he said that because he in an
• 1:04:41
Speaker 1: open marriage. So whilst was that we had a sex party,
• 1:04:47
Speaker 1: I would have never told that. I have left it
• 1:04:51
Speaker 1: that I bought up here for the threesome. You fell asleep.
• 1:04:54
Speaker 1: I fell asleep on top of her. End of it?
• 1:04:57
Speaker 1: What am I telling you? We had a sex party
• 1:04:59
Speaker 1: for unles as I'm thinking. We in an open marriage.
• 1:05:05
Speaker 1: He said he enjoyed himself, but he didn't go all
• 1:05:07
Speaker 1: the way with any of the women. What he said,
• 1:05:12
Speaker 1: he fooled around with the other wife that came with us,
• 1:05:15
Speaker 1: and her husband didn't care because they've always had an
• 1:05:18
Speaker 1: open marriage. What stop blaming this so alcohol. These are conscious,
• 1:05:27
Speaker 1: consensual decisions that's made by six adults before we got married.
• 1:05:34
Speaker 1: My husband, I had a manage a tire or you
• 1:05:36
Speaker 1: ain't had just one m This is what this is
• 1:05:40
Speaker 1: what she ain't telling the truth? You ain't had just one,
• 1:05:43
Speaker 1: but that was eight years ago. Now I feel guilty
• 1:05:45
Speaker 1: because I allowed this to happen before. I don't talk
• 1:05:48
Speaker 1: to the couple with the Vegas with anymore, I guess not.
• 1:05:51
Speaker 1: But my husband is still friendly with him. Hell, ye
• 1:05:54
Speaker 1: ain't friendly with him. Fooled around with the man's wife.
• 1:05:58
Speaker 1: Am I in an open relationships? Help? Yes, you are
• 1:06:01
Speaker 1: in an open relationship? And you want me tell you
• 1:06:03
Speaker 1: why you're in an old relationship? Because this is your reaction,
• 1:06:06
Speaker 1: your reaction to this whole thing is to write a letter.
• 1:06:09
Speaker 1: You're in an open relationship because you're still married to him.
• 1:06:13
Speaker 1: You're in an open relationship because you bought into the
• 1:06:16
Speaker 1: whole idea, and you're now even blaming yourself for this
• 1:06:21
Speaker 1: to even happen. How did this become any of your
• 1:06:24
Speaker 1: fault if y'all had more than one manage atoire? So
• 1:06:28
Speaker 1: he thinking it's just power for the course. He know
• 1:06:31
Speaker 1: what the other couple was because he didn't talk to
• 1:06:33
Speaker 1: his dude about it. That's why the four of them
• 1:06:36
Speaker 1: came together. He went downstairs because he noticed what the
• 1:06:40
Speaker 1: dude do. Yes, lady, you in an open marriage all
• 1:06:44
Speaker 1: day long? All right? Thanks Steve. Post comments on today's

• 1:07:53
Speaker 1: they had to do that. Man, he just a coach,
• 1:07:55
Speaker 1: but he not playing. Just lost. That was it. You
• 1:07:58
Speaker 1: don't have to do the Prime like that. So coach

Speaker 1: PROBM said the trolling incident was childish. Now do you
• 1:08:03
Speaker 1: guys think that's poor sportsmanship? Yeah? You know, but I

• 1:10:11
Speaker 1: the top of the hour, Motivation Monday it is, and
• 1:10:14
Speaker 1: we'll tell you about a seventy eight year old powerlifting champion.
• 1:10:17
Speaker 1: Right after this, you're listening to Steve Morning Show. All right, guys,
• 1:10:24
Speaker 1: it is Motivation Monday, and we gotta tell you about
• 1:10:27
Speaker 1: Miss Norah Langdon. Missus Laura Langdon is not your average grandma. Listen.
• 1:10:33
Speaker 1: It's seventy eight years old. Nora is a powerlifting champion.
• 1:10:39
Speaker 1: Did you hear me. She is a powerlifting champion who
• 1:10:42
Speaker 1: hopes to inspire others that it's never too late to
• 1:10:46
Speaker 1: get healthy. She works out at the Royal Oak Gym
• 1:10:50
Speaker 1: in Detroit several times a week. Her fitness began back
• 1:10:54
Speaker 1: in two thousand and seven, when she weighed over two
• 1:10:57
Speaker 1: hundred and ten pounds. With each gym session, she got
• 1:11:02
Speaker 1: stronger and stronger. She was building her strength. She is
• 1:11:05
Speaker 1: a retired real term so she was gradually losing her weight.
• 1:11:10
Speaker 1: Now she's ranked one of Michigan's best powerlifters in her
• 1:11:13
Speaker 1: age group. She holds dozens of state, national, and world
• 1:11:17
Speaker 1: records through her competition with the American Powerlifting Federation. She says,
• 1:11:23
Speaker 1: I beat everyone from sixty years old up to my age.
• 1:11:28
Speaker 1: I have no competition. I love her governance right and
• 1:11:36
Speaker 1: Nora has no plans to slow down. In fact, she's
• 1:11:38
Speaker 1: preparing for an upcoming competition with a goldlifting of with
• 1:11:43
Speaker 1: a goal of lifting over a thousand pounds, something that
• 1:11:46
Speaker 1: hasn't been done in her age bracket. Remember she's seventy
• 1:11:49
Speaker 1: eight years old. She said, it keeps me motivated and
• 1:11:52
Speaker 1: that's why I go. I'm strong now. I take no medication.
• 1:11:57
Speaker 1: I'm in good health, and that's where I want to stay.
• 1:12:01
Speaker 1: Congratulations to you. That is wonderful. Yeah. So Steve, I
• 1:12:08
Speaker 1: know you're into fitness. You're into that. Yeah, and you're ageless, right,
• 1:12:13
Speaker 1: And why is it so important to you to be fit?
• 1:12:17
Speaker 1: I mean, well, listen, I mean only the two most
• 1:12:20
Speaker 1: important things we have our time and our health. If
• 1:12:23
Speaker 1: you out of either one of those, you're in the
• 1:12:25
Speaker 1: world of trouble. So I do. I made a conscious
• 1:12:28
Speaker 1: effort to start investing in my health, just like I
• 1:12:32
Speaker 1: invest in my clothes. Yeah, you know, I'm always worried
• 1:12:35
Speaker 1: about how to outside of me. Look, I mean, man,
• 1:12:38
Speaker 1: it's kind of crazy not to take care of the inside.
• 1:12:42
Speaker 1: And it doesn't take a lot, it really really doesn't.
• 1:12:45
Speaker 1: You know. People talk about like, for example, you talk
• 1:12:48
Speaker 1: about eating organic food and stuff, and you go to
• 1:12:50
Speaker 1: Whole Foods and get organic food and stuff like that,
• 1:12:52
Speaker 1: and then people start talking about the cost of organic foods. Well,
• 1:12:57
Speaker 1: let me ask you something. What you think more organic
• 1:13:02
Speaker 1: foods or prescription maids. So if you are what you eat,
• 1:13:10
Speaker 1: and like a doctor told me, he said, Steve, what
• 1:13:17
Speaker 1: you eat in your forties, we would diagnose for you
• 1:13:21
Speaker 1: in your fifties what we diagnosed for you in your fifties,
• 1:13:25
Speaker 1: we would treat you for in your sixties. And whatever
• 1:13:28
Speaker 1: we're treating you for in your sixties, we will bury
• 1:13:31
Speaker 1: you for in your seventies. Oh, a doctor told me
• 1:13:37
Speaker 1: that here it is again. What you eat in your
• 1:13:42
Speaker 1: forties we would diagnosed for you in your fifties. What
• 1:13:46
Speaker 1: we diagnosed for you in your fifties, we will treat
• 1:13:48
Speaker 1: you for in your sixties, he said. And whatever we're
• 1:13:51
Speaker 1: treating you for in your sixties, we will bury you
• 1:13:54
Speaker 1: for that in your seventies. So I started thinking. I said,
• 1:13:59
Speaker 1: wait a minute, man, I gotta do better. Yeah, that
• 1:14:02
Speaker 1: doesn't mean you have to stop eating some of the
• 1:14:05
Speaker 1: foods you love all together, but you've got to reduce
• 1:14:10
Speaker 1: the amount of it that you eat, and you've got
• 1:14:12
Speaker 1: to increase the amount of food that's good for your body. Yeah,
• 1:14:17
Speaker 1: and you can. You can't. Look, you can't turn back
• 1:14:20
Speaker 1: the hands of time, but you can definitely slow the
• 1:14:23
Speaker 1: aging process. With exercise, stretching, yoga, and with the food
• 1:14:30
Speaker 1: you eat. You can slow it down. You don't have
• 1:14:34
Speaker 1: to just sit there and let age come take you away.
• 1:14:38
Speaker 1: That's my new initiative called Ageless. I'm telling you It's
• 1:14:41
Speaker 1: gonna be great. I'm gonna sure a lot of people
• 1:14:43
Speaker 1: want I spend money to figure out and off here
• 1:14:45
Speaker 1: to you wig, you than what I Paige appreciate that. Yeah,
• 1:14:51
Speaker 1: thank you, endless Nora out of Detroit at seventy eight
• 1:14:54
Speaker 1: hour lifting. All right, so we'll have more of today's
• 1:14:59
Speaker 1: trending story on the Steve Harvey Morning Show, coming back
• 1:15:01
Speaker 1: up at twenty minutes after the hour. Right after this.
• 1:15:05
Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve,
• 1:15:10
Speaker 1: pay close attention to this. Okay. Following the announcement of
• 1:15:14
Speaker 1: his new partnerships with Adidas and Gap, several outlets were
• 1:15:18
Speaker 1: quick to crown Kanye West the richest black man in
• 1:15:23
Speaker 1: American history, stating his net worth to be six point
• 1:15:27
Speaker 1: six billion with a B dollars. Here's the problem. Forbes
• 1:15:32
Speaker 1: points out his net worth is closer to one point
• 1:15:36
Speaker 1: eight billion, and that these estimates are based on quote
• 1:15:40
Speaker 1: the magical thinking around sales that don't yet exist. Okay,
• 1:15:46
Speaker 1: for him to be the richest black person in the US,
• 1:15:49
Speaker 1: you know, they have to have all those sales and
• 1:15:53
Speaker 1: all of that to make him, you know, that biggest,
• 1:15:55
Speaker 1: the richest person actually for the Record, Vice, the Equities,
• 1:16:01
Speaker 1: Robert F. Smith. Robert Smith. It's worth six billion dollars,
• 1:16:05
Speaker 1: making him the richest black person in the US, right, Steve,
• 1:16:10
Speaker 1: He's actually worth more than that. You know. It's amazing
• 1:16:13
Speaker 1: how people do it. Look, Kanye is making a great
• 1:16:16
Speaker 1: deal of money. Let's mate, this is not hate at all.
• 1:16:19
Speaker 1: Let me share something with you, and this is from
• 1:16:21
Speaker 1: talking with people with money. If you got eight hundred
• 1:16:25
Speaker 1: million dollars and a dude got a billion dollars, that
• 1:16:29
Speaker 1: nothing he came by that you came by nothing. That's nothing. Good. Yeah, nothing,
• 1:16:34
Speaker 1: I'll take it. Nothing. And you really don't know his
• 1:16:39
Speaker 1: real that's the affair conversation. And congratulations to Kanye. I'll

Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey right after this. You're listening
• 1:20:50
Speaker 1: to show all right, guys, here we are last break
• 1:20:55
Speaker 1: of the day on this Monday, first Monday in Spring
• 1:20:59
Speaker 1: twenty twenty one one. As Junior so eloquently stated earlier
• 1:21:04
Speaker 1: this morning in his poem, his poem, I yes, I
• 1:21:08
Speaker 1: don't know what y'all was at I did eloquently. Yes,
• 1:21:13
Speaker 1: ringer ding ding is not andsnessis. Yeah, the best the
• 1:21:20
Speaker 1: bestnesists did bother me. I have to admit that it did.
• 1:21:24
Speaker 1: It did. Junior wrote a poem about Spring. Yes he
• 1:21:28
Speaker 1: did the first yes, yes, first day maybe on social
• 1:21:32
Speaker 1: media Instagram. Unbelievable and why not? And why not? I
• 1:21:38
Speaker 1: mean doing me unbelievable like Alabama say. And before we
• 1:21:50
Speaker 1: get out of here, guys, we have to say happy
• 1:21:53
Speaker 1: birthday to our colleagues. Steve's one of your bestest friends,
• 1:21:56
Speaker 1: your best friend Jay Anthony Brown. It is his birthday.
• 1:22:07
Speaker 1: Mofa all good. Yeah Monday, it was quick Monday. Yeah,
• 1:22:15
Speaker 1: it was. It was fun. It was fun. I like Mondays. Anyway, Hey,
• 1:22:21
Speaker 1: you know something in my closing remarks, I want to
• 1:22:23
Speaker 1: ask a question because I was thinking about this, you know,
• 1:22:27
Speaker 1: I was just thinking about that, the hate crimes against Asians. Yeah,
• 1:22:32
Speaker 1: here is the question, and this is kind of my
• 1:22:35
Speaker 1: closing remarks, but I'm kind of opening up this as
• 1:22:38
Speaker 1: a question too in this country. I'm talking about the
• 1:22:44
Speaker 1: United States of America. Yeah, why is it that people
• 1:22:51
Speaker 1: who aren't quite have to always be subject to hate
• 1:22:58
Speaker 1: crimes by some whites who are white? You know, I
• 1:23:06
Speaker 1: was just thinking about that in my own way country. Yeah,
• 1:23:11
Speaker 1: but in this country, why is it simply because you're
• 1:23:17
Speaker 1: not white that you have to be subjected to some
• 1:23:21
Speaker 1: form of hate crime, racist or bigotry by some And
• 1:23:26
Speaker 1: I'm saying this, some whites who are white. What is
• 1:23:30
Speaker 1: it about the thought of their skin color that makes
• 1:23:38
Speaker 1: that that's a right to superiority? And I have to say, man,
• 1:23:44
Speaker 1: that it's a failing in these people. People who are
• 1:23:48
Speaker 1: racist based on skin color, there's a failure in them
• 1:23:53
Speaker 1: as people. See somehow you have to make a person
• 1:24:01
Speaker 1: feel less than you in order for you to feel
• 1:24:05
Speaker 1: like you're better than them. But isn't that the very
• 1:24:08
Speaker 1: definition of racism your race, thinking that you're superior to
• 1:24:14
Speaker 1: other races? You know what I mean? Yeah, that's definitely
• 1:24:17
Speaker 1: a form of it. Yeah, you know, it's definitely. It's
• 1:24:20
  Speaker 1: so much behind it. It's all entitlement. That's a that's
• 1:24:25
Speaker 1: a form of it too. It's a lot of things
• 1:24:27
Speaker 1: that lead us to this man. And it's really sickening
• 1:24:32
Speaker 1: because I look at the sadness and the sickness, and
• 1:24:35
Speaker 1: what Donald Trump did was he pulled the curtain back
• 1:24:40
Speaker 1: and really unveiled and game and got rid of this
• 1:24:43
Speaker 1: false narrative that we were going getting better as a
• 1:24:47
Speaker 1: country and we're not. We're not getting better as a country.
• 1:24:53
Speaker 1: We're getting better and slicker at hiding it. We've gotten
• 1:24:57
Speaker 1: better and slicker at systemic race sism. We've gotten better
• 1:25:01
Speaker 1: and slicker. And then now they just can't even hide
• 1:25:04
Speaker 1: it now because of the election. Now they want to
• 1:25:09
Speaker 1: make as hard as they can for black precincts to vote.
• 1:25:15
Speaker 1: They are openly admitting that voter suppression needs to come
• 1:25:20
Speaker 1: into play. And we've got to get aware of folks
• 1:25:24
Speaker 1: of what's going on. Because I have given up hope
• 1:25:28
Speaker 1: that this country it's going to become non racist. I've
• 1:25:33
Speaker 1: given that up. I thought when President Barack Obama became
• 1:25:37
Speaker 1: president and it did prove that there are a lot
• 1:25:40
Speaker 1: of great people in this country who are not of
• 1:25:44
Speaker 1: a person of color, that it did prove the Black
• 1:25:47
Speaker 1: Lives Matter movement proved that there are a lot of
• 1:25:51
Speaker 1: fine people in this country who are not of color.
• 1:25:55
Speaker 1: It proved that, yes, and I've always said that, and
• 1:25:58
Speaker 1: that's good. But there are so much more hatred than
• 1:26:08
Speaker 1: we even thought. I mean, I'm really not surprised, but
• 1:26:16
Speaker 1: I am kind of surprised because this last turn of
• 1:26:22
Speaker 1: events with Donald Trump has really shown me, especially from
• 1:26:28
Speaker 1: the Republican Party and the Senate, how much they really
• 1:26:33
Speaker 1: do care about position, power and money. Yeah, and that
• 1:26:38
Speaker 1: they've sacrificed everything and anything to hold onto it, even
• 1:26:46
Speaker 1: if they know it's dead wrong. Yes, it's it's really sickness, man, soul.
• 1:26:53
Speaker 1: I'm saying to us, we have got to continue as
• 1:26:57
Speaker 1: we did this last election to become a very very
• 1:27:00
Speaker 1: powerful voting block because we can stop a lot of
• 1:27:03
Speaker 1: this because they're catching hell right now. That Senate race
• 1:27:07
Speaker 1: in Georgia that upset them. Boy, you don't. I was
• 1:27:14
Speaker 1: on a golf course this weekend. I heard some comments
• 1:27:17
Speaker 1: this weekend. I'm telling you, man, there's some people mad
• 1:27:21
Speaker 1: about this. So we gotta keep voting. We gotta keep
• 1:27:24
Speaker 1: doing I ain't got the time right now. That's gonna
• 1:27:27
Speaker 1: make me mad, and that's gonna require a whole, a
• 1:27:29
Speaker 1: whole another clothes and remarks. But we got God and
• 1:27:33
Speaker 1: God got us, and that's all. It's important, and no
• 1:27:35
Speaker 1: matter what, we're gonna be fine. Y'all keep talking to God.
• 1:27:38
Speaker 1: Everybody loved to hear from you. Y'all have a great
