- 0:57Speaker 1: founded a personal development and leadership development companies specializing in
- 1:02Speaker 1: real world business leadership and personal accountability approaches. He helps individuals, organizations,
- 1:08Speaker 1: and companies get to the root of their behavior, performance
- 1:11Speaker 1: and areas of improvement to change their overall outlook and
- 1:14Speaker 1: become more productive, encouraging and inspiring. Please work with the
- 1:18Speaker 1: Money Making Conversation Masterclass CHICONI Prince, how you doing, sir?
- 1:22Speaker 2: I'm doing fineing you.
- 1:24Speaker 1: That's a lot going on. We're gonna break this down
- 1:26Speaker 1: to my audience here because I want to start with
- 1:29Speaker 1: the word accountability. Checone, What does that mean when you're
- 1:32Speaker 1: in your business model?
- 1:34Speaker 2: Well, accountability means to me the ability to be accountable.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Some of the ones said that responsibility is your ability
- 1:43Speaker 2: to respond. And we all have an opportunity to make
- 1:47Speaker 2: the world a better place. But if we don't understand
- 1:50Speaker 2: that that's what is given to us. To who much
- 1:53Speaker 2: is given, much is required, we won't live up to
- 1:55Speaker 2: that mantra. And so my goal is to help people
- 1:58Speaker 2: to understand that they have some than to offer the world.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Like my coach told me that you can be the
- 2:03Speaker 2: askment of somebody's headache, but if you don't realize that,
- 2:07Speaker 2: you will go somewhere and sit in the corner. You'll
- 2:09Speaker 2: go somewhere and sit down. So to be accountable is
- 2:12Speaker 2: to understand what it is you have and how valuable
- 2:15Speaker 2: it is, and that it's needed.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Now, let me ask this question to you. Is your
- 2:19Speaker 1: business tied to following your faith or following your passion?
- 2:25Speaker 2: Honestly, it's a combination of both. Because I believe that
- 2:28Speaker 2: all of us we have something that we've been placed
- 2:30Speaker 2: here to do, because if you weren't needed here, we
- 2:33Speaker 2: wouldn't be here. And so I know there are a
- 2:36Speaker 2: lot of people that lean so heavy on their faith
- 2:38Speaker 2: that they don't want to do anything. And I know
- 2:40Speaker 2: that there are so many people that lean so heavy
- 2:42Speaker 2: on the actions that they don't have any belief. But
- 2:44Speaker 2: I believe that there has to be a combination of both.
- 2:46Speaker 2: We have to be able to understand that, yes, we
- 2:49Speaker 2: have talent, skills and abilities, but it's not just for
- 2:52Speaker 2: us to serve ourselves. We need to serve other people.
- 2:56Speaker 1: We just ask that because let's get to the background
- 2:59Speaker 1: of who shouldn't with the princess. Because I always tell
- 3:02Speaker 1: people the journey of where you're at are currently now
- 3:05Speaker 1: may not be how you started, but it's something that
- 3:08Speaker 1: you believed in as a youth. Because I always tell people,
- 3:11Speaker 1: between the age of eighteen and twenty four, you just fearless.
- 3:15Speaker 1: You have all these dreams, all these aspirations, and then
- 3:18Speaker 1: what happens is life takes over and then you kind
- 3:21Speaker 1: of start listening to other people. They tell you should
- 3:23Speaker 1: do this. You might get married, and careers might take
- 3:26Speaker 1: you out of town, and you might get off course
- 3:29Speaker 1: from your dream. Are you doing what you're doing now
- 3:33Speaker 1: that you want to do or aspire to do between
- 3:35Speaker 1: the ages of eighteen and twenty four, tikoni.
- 3:38Speaker 2: No, sir, I am not, But tell me about that well.
- 3:42Speaker 2: And actually, I have always been a very creative person,
- 3:47Speaker 2: and I found myself doing something that I really didn't
- 3:51Speaker 2: think I would be doing at the time, and that
- 3:53Speaker 2: was three D animation. I had a company called three
- 3:56Speaker 2: D Solution Providers and we did three D animation and illustration.
- 4:00Speaker 2: And I was actually at an event back in twenty twelve.
- 4:04Speaker 2: It was called the Power Networking Conference with doctor George Fraser,
- 4:08Speaker 2: and at that event, I wind up winning a quick
- 4:10Speaker 2: pitch Business Olympics. While I was pitching my business, but
- 4:14Speaker 2: while I was on stage, I had an epiphany. While
- 4:16Speaker 2: I was up there telling people about my products or
- 4:19Speaker 2: my services, I realized that my words could be used
- 4:21Speaker 2: for more than selling a product or service. They can
- 4:24Speaker 2: be used to sell people on themselves. You know, my
- 4:27Speaker 2: first book was entitled Are You Climbing the Wrong Mountain?
- 4:31Speaker 2: About finding your true purpose? And I tell people that
- 4:34Speaker 2: are three things you can learn by being on the
- 4:36Speaker 2: wrong mountain. The first thing you can learn is this
- 4:38Speaker 2: is not it, this is not where I'm supposed to be.
- 4:40Speaker 2: I can scratch this off my lists. But the second
- 4:42Speaker 2: thing is being on the wrong mountain, you can identify
- 4:45Speaker 2: the right one. And that's what happened to me at
- 4:47Speaker 2: that conference. I realized, this is not where I'm supposed
- 4:50Speaker 2: to be. I'm supposed to be encouraging and motivating people.
- 4:54Speaker 2: But the third thing I tell people that you can
- 4:55Speaker 2: learn by being on the wrong mountain is that once
- 4:57Speaker 2: you've identified the right one, it's not going to take
- 5:00Speaker 2: you that long to get up it because you have
- 5:03Speaker 2: mounting climbing skills. The things you learn even climbing the
- 5:06Speaker 2: wrong mouth and that you take with you. And so
- 5:09Speaker 2: during those years doing those formative years of eighteen and
- 5:11Speaker 2: twenty four, there are a lot of lessons that you
- 5:14Speaker 2: can learn, and they aren't It's only a loss if
- 5:17Speaker 2: you leave the lesson, and so many individuals they consider
- 5:21Speaker 2: what I've wasted my time. No you've gotten experience. If anything,
- 5:24Speaker 2: you learn what not to do. And so I try
- 5:27Speaker 2: to help people to understand that. Listen, wherever you are
- 5:30Speaker 2: in life, you have a wealth of experience and knowledge
- 5:33Speaker 2: that's got you that you know some things that work
- 5:35Speaker 2: for you, some things that are the goods you can
- 5:37Speaker 2: pass on, but you also know some pitfalls that you
- 5:40Speaker 2: can help other people avoid. So if we take it
- 5:43Speaker 2: all as a total, then we'll understand that we have
- 5:48Speaker 2: something to offer the world.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Well, how old were you when you hit the stage
- 5:52Speaker 1: and you had that moment they realize that you know something.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I'm doing this, well, but this is not what I do.
- 5:57Speaker 1: How old were you?
- 5:58Speaker 2: I was in my mid thirties, So yeah, yes, I
- 6:04Speaker 2: was in my mid thirties in fact when I did that.
- 6:10Speaker 2: But up until that point, I was satisfied with the direction,
- 6:15Speaker 2: the fact that I was going. But again I realized
- 6:18Speaker 2: I was climbing.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Who was pouring you in that direction where you were going? Would?
- 6:21Speaker 1: Who was telling you that was the right direction for
- 6:24Speaker 1: you to go? To Coney?
- 6:26Speaker 2: Well? Actually it was me because again, like I said,
- 6:30Speaker 2: I love being creative and three D animation allowed me
- 6:33Speaker 2: a chance to make something out of nothing. When I
- 6:37Speaker 2: hear words, I see pictures, and so people would they
- 6:39Speaker 2: would literally give me a paragraph explaining the process or
- 6:42Speaker 2: a or a new invention, and I could actually as
- 6:46Speaker 2: I read it, I saw pictures in my mind. So
- 6:48Speaker 2: I would just go on my computer and I would
- 6:49Speaker 2: make what I saw. I would animate and I would
- 6:52Speaker 2: actually help them to actually illustrate their vision of the
- 6:56Speaker 2: future in three D. But again I realize that my
- 7:03Speaker 2: real talents, my real gift and abilities. And somebody will say,
- 7:06Speaker 2: what's the ConA, how you come from doing three D
- 7:07Speaker 2: animation to do in fact motivational speaking? And for me
- 7:11Speaker 2: it was easy because it just became a reverse engineering.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Whereas before somebody else was giving me the words and
- 7:16Speaker 2: I was creating the visuals because I could see it
- 7:19Speaker 2: in my mind. Well, now I have the vision in
- 7:22Speaker 2: my mind. I just reverse engineer, and I'm giving them
- 7:25Speaker 2: the words. I'm painting a picture in their mind to
- 7:27Speaker 2: help them to understand who they are and what they
- 7:30Speaker 2: have to bring to the table.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Well, I think, Shagoonne, what they're asking you would go,
- 7:34Speaker 1: why do you go from motivation to from CD three
- 7:37Speaker 1: D animation to motivation? It's like, how do you have
- 7:40Speaker 1: the courage because you know yourself. There's so many people
- 7:43Speaker 1: are in marriagers they shouldn't be in because they don't
- 7:45Speaker 1: have courage to get out of it. So many people
- 7:48Speaker 1: are at jobs that they're working on a daily basis,
- 7:51Speaker 1: but they're afraid to leave because they don't know if
- 7:53Speaker 1: they can get that check someplace else. So a lot
- 7:55Speaker 1: of people trapped in environments that they're not happy in
- 8:00Speaker 1: out of fear. And I think the question that people
- 8:02Speaker 1: are asking you is how did you accomplish that? And
- 8:08Speaker 1: what was the turning point? You say, you know something,
- 8:10Speaker 1: this is not my path to my future.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Well, I guess my turning point came in two phases.
- 8:17Speaker 2: One was that event where I realized that my words
- 8:21Speaker 2: could be used for something more than again selling the
- 8:25Speaker 2: product of service. But the other point or was I
- 8:32Speaker 2: actually watched Less Brown's fifty minute Mindset and that really
- 8:37Speaker 2: helped me to understand that I could change directions, I
- 8:42Speaker 2: could change course, and I had a burning desire and
- 8:46Speaker 2: I still do to help people. I mean I tell
- 8:49Speaker 2: people all the time, if I'm not here to help,
- 8:51Speaker 2: then why am I here?
- 8:53Speaker 1: Right?
- 8:53Speaker 2: And so understanding the need that everybody has to exercise
- 9:01Speaker 2: their God given talents and abilities. That was again, it's
- 9:06Speaker 2: like breathing to me. And so I realized that I
- 9:10Speaker 2: could sell people on themselves, and that's what I started doing.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Selling people on themselves. Expound on that. Please tell me
- 9:22Speaker 1: that almost like sounds like self motivation are showing people
- 9:28Speaker 1: their value and allowing them to take advantage of it.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I may be saying it wrong, but help me out.
- 9:34Speaker 2: Well, I'm going to help you out because my slogan
- 9:37Speaker 2: is I'm Seconiprince off seconiprince dot com, where we make
- 9:41Speaker 2: motivation personal for introducing you to yourself.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Love it.
- 9:47Speaker 2: And I think a lot of people really don't understand
- 9:49Speaker 2: who they are and what they have, and because of that,
- 9:52Speaker 2: they again allow the world to pass them by. They
- 9:57Speaker 2: don't value their value and see what value their value brings.
- 10:02Speaker 2: I'm gonna say that again for those that are taking notes.
- 10:05Speaker 2: People need to learn how to value their own value
- 10:08Speaker 2: and then see what value their value brings, and so
- 10:12Speaker 2: helping people to understand that you have more in you
- 10:15Speaker 2: than you're putting out into the world. The question is
- 10:18Speaker 2: what's holding you back? And most of the time it's
- 10:20Speaker 2: just us and our fear and our inability to move
- 10:24Speaker 2: past our own hang ups. But when you realize somebody
- 10:27Speaker 2: is waiting on you, somebody is desperately seeking what you have,
- 10:32Speaker 2: then you'll find a way. If you can't find a way,
- 10:35Speaker 2: you will make a way to get to them and
- 10:38Speaker 2: to help them. But if you don't see how valuable
- 10:41Speaker 2: your asset is, and I don't care what it is,
- 10:43Speaker 2: it could be frying chicken, it can be cutting grass,
- 10:45Speaker 2: It could be doing a county. It can be practicing law,
- 10:48Speaker 2: whatever you've been gifted to do. Somebody needs you. They
- 10:52Speaker 2: are looking for you. When I show up, they turn
- 10:55Speaker 2: me away. But when you show up, you make a
- 10:57Speaker 2: difference in their life. And so my job is to
- 10:59Speaker 2: help inspire people, or should I say motivate, because I
- 11:03Speaker 2: believe inspiration can come externally. You can inspire somebody, but
- 11:07Speaker 2: motivation has to be internal. What's your motivation? Will you
- 11:11Speaker 2: understand what you have? Like I tell people all the time,
- 11:15Speaker 2: until you know who you are, anything can stop you.
- 11:19Speaker 2: But once you know who you are, nothing can.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Okay, before I answer my next ask my next question,
- 11:26Speaker 1: what's your slogan? Again?
- 11:28Speaker 2: Sicony Siconi Prince of siconiprince dot com, where we make
- 11:31Speaker 2: motivation personal by introducing you to yourself.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Okay, help me out with a person fifty years old,
- 11:41Speaker 1: you know, and a job, because that fifty is a
- 11:45Speaker 1: rough year for people because sometimes they this is how
- 11:48Speaker 1: I'm gon riote it out. They might tell themselves, as
- 11:51Speaker 1: there's no relationship out there for them, this is the
- 11:54Speaker 1: only job in my life. They want to be an entrepreneur,
- 11:57Speaker 1: but they're afraid they have no mentorship. Now, this is
- 12:00Speaker 1: about what you're saying. Looking into yourself, self motivation, that's
- 12:05Speaker 1: what you do. I got a lot of listeners who
- 12:08Speaker 1: are listening to this show right now who need self motivation.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Help them out, Sconi Prince.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Well, my first question fifty years old, now, fifty years old?
- 12:19Speaker 2: Fifty years old, fifty years old? Okay, if you're fifty
- 12:23Speaker 2: years old, my question to you is what is it
- 12:26Speaker 2: that you love to do? What is your passion? What
- 12:30Speaker 2: is that thing that you would do even if you
- 12:32Speaker 2: didn't get paid. What is that thing that you get
- 12:36Speaker 2: excited about, the thing that you do that you don't
- 12:38Speaker 2: even look at your watch, The thing that you do
- 12:41Speaker 2: that when it's over, you're actually sad, You're like, when
- 12:44Speaker 2: can we do this again? What is that and then
- 12:47Speaker 2: figure out a way to build your own economy around that.
- 12:52Speaker 2: It could be something the simple as fishing. It could
- 12:55Speaker 2: be something as simple as you know, I'm flying the kite.
- 12:59Speaker 2: There are so many things that we can do, but
- 13:02Speaker 2: I'm telling you there's somebody else out there that needs it,
- 13:06Speaker 2: and so understanding that you have what it takes to
- 13:11Speaker 2: lead somebody. You know, there are a ton of people
- 13:14Speaker 2: that do have have motivational speaking, but there's only one
- 13:19Speaker 2: Seconi Prince, and no one can do what I do
- 13:21Speaker 2: the way I do it, when I do it, and
- 13:23Speaker 2: where I do it, And so understanding that I'm not
- 13:26Speaker 2: in competition with them. I'm just trying to be the
- 13:28Speaker 2: best version of myself. And if you never take the
- 13:32Speaker 2: time to understand who you are and what you have,
- 13:36Speaker 2: you're always going to keep second guinst yourself and you're
- 13:38Speaker 2: never going to move beyond what's comfortable. If you think
- 13:42Speaker 2: about where you want to be. It's just like with
- 13:44Speaker 2: ener gps. You can put in a destination, but if
- 13:47Speaker 2: you don't have your locations turned on, it's gonna ask
- 13:49Speaker 2: you where are you? And we have to be honest
- 13:51Speaker 2: enough with where we are right now? What's holding us back?
- 13:54Speaker 2: Is it my fear? Is it the fact that I
- 13:57Speaker 2: don't know? I may have passion, but I don't know
- 13:59Speaker 2: how to do or what to do. You can find
- 14:02Speaker 2: that out, but you have to be willing to step out.
- 14:05Speaker 2: The only thing between you and your dreams is you.
- 14:09Speaker 2: So let's get ourself in gear and let's understand that
- 14:14Speaker 2: we have something to do and a place to go,
- 14:16Speaker 2: and somebody waiting on us. It's not just about the money.
- 14:20Speaker 2: It's not just about the fame or the fortune. Who
- 14:22Speaker 2: are you helping? If you really want to impress me,
- 14:25Speaker 2: show me the people that you help, not the car
- 14:27Speaker 2: you drive. Now much money you have, who are you helping?
- 14:31Speaker 2: Doctor mosboronnd Rowe He said that the fruit isn't for
- 14:33Speaker 2: the tree, and if you know that you have fruit
- 14:37Speaker 2: that somebody is waiting to eat, you will produce it
- 14:41Speaker 2: and you would do it for them.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Please don't go anywhere. We'll be right back with more
- 14:46Speaker 3: Money Making Conversations Masterclass. Welcome back to the Money Making
- 14:57Speaker 3: Conversations Masterclass hosted by Rashaan McDonald.
- 15:00Speaker 2: You know.
- 15:01Speaker 1: I'm talking to Schoni Prince, motivational speaker personal development leadership
- 15:08Speaker 1: from a personal development standpoint motivational speaker. You said it earlier.
- 15:14Speaker 1: It's a crowd of field. Now, oh yeah, you know,
- 15:17Speaker 1: it's like a lot of cookies on the tables, a
- 15:19Speaker 1: lot of flavors, and you know, you go out there,
- 15:21Speaker 1: you don't know which cookie to buy, which cookie to
- 15:23Speaker 1: pick up, which cookie? Is that what's separating you in
- 15:26Speaker 1: the motivational game?
- 15:27Speaker 2: There seconi Well, I realized not everybody is for me,
- 15:31Speaker 2: and I'm okay with that. I'm cool with that. Okay,
- 15:33Speaker 2: I don't have a problem with that. But there are
- 15:35Speaker 2: a group of individuals that when they hear me talk,
- 15:39Speaker 2: they gravitate towards me. Now, some people call it energy,
- 15:42Speaker 2: some people call it frequency, some people call it spirit.
- 15:45Speaker 2: I don't care what you call it. But when you
- 15:47Speaker 2: hear my voice, when you hear my presentation, in fact,
- 15:49Speaker 2: when you read my books, when you come to my events,
- 15:51Speaker 2: you realize that I have something you need. And those
- 15:54Speaker 2: are the people I've been called to serve. Everybody else
- 15:57Speaker 2: got bless you have a smile on you, But the
- 15:59Speaker 2: ones that I've been call to serve, I'm here to
- 16:01Speaker 2: help you. So that's who I am, and I can't
- 16:04Speaker 2: be anything other than who I am. I'm not trying
- 16:06Speaker 2: to be Anyboudy. I'm not trying to replace anybody. I'm
- 16:08Speaker 2: trying to be the best secone that I can be
- 16:12Speaker 2: because I know me showing up at my best is
- 16:14Speaker 2: going to inspire, motivate, and to courage somebody to do
- 16:17Speaker 2: the same.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Now, your latest book, Heal, which is h E A
- 16:22Speaker 1: L Help Elevate and Learn a God to Healing your
- 16:25Speaker 1: Inner child again, is about that person. See one thing
- 16:28Speaker 1: I love about you in my short term or just
- 16:31Speaker 1: doing my research. You keep putting the burden of responsibility
- 16:35Speaker 1: back on that person, and I think I've never heard that.
- 16:39Speaker 1: See people always talk about come here, relax, come here
- 16:43Speaker 1: with a group of people, you meditate together, but you
- 16:47Speaker 1: go to write. Look in that mirror, we're talking about you.
- 16:50Speaker 2: When you wake up.
- 16:51Speaker 1: You're looking at you when you go to bed. Is
- 16:54Speaker 1: about you? What thought proce got you there? Because you're
- 17:00Speaker 1: starting a three D animation. Then you went on stage
- 17:03Speaker 1: at the George Fraser event. You went you know, so
- 17:06Speaker 1: these people are looking at me different. They're not really
- 17:08Speaker 1: looking at what I'm doing. They're looking at what listen
- 17:10Speaker 1: to what I'm saying yes, And in the process of
- 17:13Speaker 1: listening to what you what you're saying. You said, I'm
- 17:15Speaker 1: gonna let you know that I can only get you
- 17:19Speaker 1: there if you get yourself there correctly. Talk to me
- 17:22Speaker 1: bout exactly I'm getting on the prints train now.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Okay, well listen. I know how critically important it is
- 17:33Speaker 2: for us to be able to work on ourselves, because
- 17:38Speaker 2: I tell people all the time, no matter where you go,
- 17:42Speaker 2: you're there. No matter where you go, you're there. And
- 17:46Speaker 2: if you never develop yourself, you take the same thing
- 17:50Speaker 2: and from one relationship to the next, from one job
- 17:52Speaker 2: to the next, from one project to the next, from
- 17:54Speaker 2: one goal to the next, from one diet to the next.
- 17:58Speaker 2: So if you never change you, you're gonna wind up
- 18:01Speaker 2: getting the same results. One of the latest I had
- 18:06Speaker 2: on my podcast, in fact, she said that some people
- 18:08Speaker 2: are dating the same person with a different face. And
- 18:12Speaker 2: it's like wow, because that really blew me away, because
- 18:14Speaker 2: it's like, we tend to keep gravitating towards the same thing,
- 18:18Speaker 2: but we need to change our appetite. So that starts
- 18:21Speaker 2: with us, That starts with us working and looking in
- 18:25Speaker 2: the mirror and say, my really, my personal development journey
- 18:29Speaker 2: started when I was in college in Atlanta, and I
- 18:32Speaker 2: was dating this young lady. Everything was going good, great
- 18:34Speaker 2: and fine and wonderful until it wasn't. And whenever relationship
- 18:38Speaker 2: was over, instead of me blaming her and instead of
- 18:41Speaker 2: me you know, talking it down to her, I started
- 18:43Speaker 2: asking questions, but not of her, of me. I started
- 18:48Speaker 2: trying to understand and figure out why did I do
- 18:50Speaker 2: to some of the stuff I did, Seconia, why is
- 18:53Speaker 2: it that? And most of the relationships you've been in
- 18:54Speaker 2: it was a woman that ended it. Why is that?
- 18:57Speaker 2: And I started to do my own personal, my own
- 19:01Speaker 2: research to understand me better. And it wasn't until I
- 19:05Speaker 2: stepped into the motivation of speaking arena that I realized
- 19:08Speaker 2: how much more work I needed to do. And so
- 19:12Speaker 2: that's my thing. So many people we'll ask questions of
- 19:15Speaker 2: everybody else, but rarely do we do it of ourselves.
- 19:21Speaker 2: So that's my goal to help people to say, Okay,
- 19:22Speaker 2: why it's not just what you do, it's why you
- 19:26Speaker 2: do it. Some people ain't well again, but that's just
- 19:28Speaker 2: the way I am.
- 19:29Speaker 1: So what is that inner child that you're trying to
- 19:31Speaker 1: get us to allow to grow? And I'm assuming that's
- 19:34Speaker 1: the whole angle growth Internally, you let that person or
- 19:38Speaker 1: that in the child mature and accept responsibility, then you'll
- 19:43Speaker 1: be a better person for it. That was my takeaway
- 19:45Speaker 1: from the book.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Okay, well, and that is definitely true. We want to
- 19:50Speaker 2: do what I call an inner child check up. A
- 19:54Speaker 2: couple of years ago, I had a chance to speak
- 19:56Speaker 2: at a focused women's conference here Mobill and I finished
- 20:00Speaker 2: my presentation with an exercise, and I had all of
- 20:05Speaker 2: the ladies in the room. I said, Okay, first of all,
- 20:07Speaker 2: secure belongings, because everybody ain't saved. Make sure your person
- 20:10Speaker 2: you're phoned right next to you. But then I had
- 20:13Speaker 2: them to close their eyes and put their hand over
- 20:15Speaker 2: their heart, and I told them to think about the
- 20:19Speaker 2: little girl that's still in them and how proud she
- 20:23Speaker 2: is of the woman that she's become. But then I
- 20:27Speaker 2: also told him, I said, I want you to thank
- 20:29Speaker 2: that little girl for the strength that she had to
- 20:32Speaker 2: go through everything she went through for you to be
- 20:35Speaker 2: here today. And you will not believe how many women
- 20:39Speaker 2: of different ages and stages ethnicities came up to me
- 20:42Speaker 2: afterwards and thanked me. Some of them were tears in
- 20:44Speaker 2: their eyes for that exercise of just reminding them of
- 20:48Speaker 2: who they still had in them and I think that
- 20:51Speaker 2: was the catalyus for me writing this book, because it
- 20:54Speaker 2: is so important for us to understand the things that
- 20:58Speaker 2: went into making us who we are, and if we
- 21:01Speaker 2: have current day behavior that was seated in our childhood,
- 21:06Speaker 2: especially if it's negative, we need to address that. We
- 21:10Speaker 2: need to spend some time discovery. Now you can start
- 21:13Speaker 2: this process on your own, and the book is a
- 21:15Speaker 2: great starting point, and even my podcast helps with that
- 21:18Speaker 2: as well. But I've had therapists and psychologists and psychologists
- 21:22Speaker 2: on my podcast to help frame up a lot of
- 21:25Speaker 2: stuff I put in the book because my slogan for
- 21:28Speaker 2: my podcasts I'm not here to end the conversation. I
- 21:31Speaker 2: just want to start it. Because a lot of people
- 21:34Speaker 2: don't really realize that they have current day behavior that
- 21:37Speaker 2: was seated in their childhood. They're trying to impress or
- 21:40Speaker 2: trying to please somebody that may not even be here anymore,
- 21:44Speaker 2: and they need to just take a step back and
- 21:46Speaker 2: look at why they do what they do and understand that. Okay,
- 21:50Speaker 2: you can change that, you can rewire your brain, but
- 21:53Speaker 2: you have to first identify what it is that's negatively
- 21:57Speaker 2: impacting your life. And once you will to do that,
- 22:01Speaker 2: then you can take the necessary steps, get the necessary
- 22:04Speaker 2: help you need in order to unpack and repack your life.
- 22:08Speaker 2: And even in my book I talk about having a
- 22:10Speaker 2: second childhood. We can actually get to the place to
- 22:14Speaker 2: where life is fun again. But we have optimism and
- 22:18Speaker 2: hope and we have dreams. Because again, I think so
- 22:21Speaker 2: many people are locked in a box, and they have
- 22:23Speaker 2: the key, they lock themselves in. My thing is I
- 22:27Speaker 2: want you to take the key and unlock and let
- 22:29Speaker 2: yourself out and become the type of person that you
- 22:33Speaker 2: dreamed of when you were younger.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I love it. We're talking Seconi Prince, the arthor of
- 22:39Speaker 1: heal h e a L stands for help Elevate and
- 22:43Speaker 1: learn a guide to healing. You're in a child now
- 22:48Speaker 1: the whole process of how can we find out where
- 22:51Speaker 1: you're speaking? How can we find out and stay in
- 22:54Speaker 1: touch with you. You mentioned your podcast, tell us your podcast,
- 22:57Speaker 1: but more importantly, how we can get you your next
- 23:00Speaker 1: speaking engagement? See you do your thing. All these are
- 23:03Speaker 1: private engagements that are structured around events that people invite
- 23:07Speaker 1: you to.
- 23:08Speaker 2: Well. Actually, I have an event coming up in Dallas
- 23:12Speaker 2: on October the Trough, so I'm excited about that. I'm
- 23:15Speaker 2: gonna be speaking there along with some other incredible men.
- 23:19Speaker 2: But the easiest way to find out, in fact, what's
- 23:21Speaker 2: going on with me as you can check out my
- 23:24Speaker 2: podcast Fact, which is on my website seconiprints dot com.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Slash here that's c I C O N E p
- 23:31Speaker 2: R E I n CE dot com forward slash h

- 24:42Speaker 1: in their early twenties, when you're in college, that's when
- 24:45Speaker 1: you started understanding personal development about yourself.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Correct. Correct, I actually saw the need for it.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Right, So you did have this internal develop between the
- 25:00Speaker 1: ages of eighteen and twenty four that you are now
- 25:03Speaker 1: making money on. Now, it's all I'm saying, brother, All
- 25:09Speaker 1: I do is just wrap it up and let you know.
- 25:11Speaker 1: I hear when people talk again, our gifts are discovered
- 25:16Speaker 1: early in life. If we have to listen and understand,
- 25:19Speaker 1: that's the journey and the journey you live in.
- 25:21Speaker 2: Now.
- 25:22Speaker 1: You started a brother in college, you became a three
- 25:26Speaker 1: D animator. You went on stage and it started letting
- 25:29Speaker 1: you know, giving you moments of saying that ain't what
- 25:32Speaker 1: you do, brother, that ain't what you do. Now, what
- 25:35Speaker 1: you're doing is what you do. I'm going to tell
- 25:36Speaker 1: you right now to go on it. I'm impressed by you, brother,
- 25:39Speaker 1: and I want to thank you for taking the time

- 25:48Speaker 1: I believe hear your story, the more your brand will
- 25:51Speaker 1: be able to impact the people that you're trying to impact.
- 25:54Speaker 1: And I think it really is I feel it really
- 25:57Speaker 1: is true. It is all about you. I will tell
- 25:59Speaker 1: people stop that stop sign, that stop signs that hand
- 26:02Speaker 1: we kind of put in our face. When you look
- 26:04Speaker 1: in the mirror, that's you. When you go to sleep,
- 26:07Speaker 1: that's you. There's a responsibility along the way. You need
- 26:12Speaker 1: to hold yourself accountable, and that's the journey that you're
- 26:15Speaker 1: trying to impose on us.
