- 1:21Speaker 1: your host. Ras Sean McDonald want to say this every
- 1:23Speaker 1: week on my episode too. It's time to stop reading
- 1:26Speaker 1: other people's success stories and start writing your own. People
- 1:29Speaker 1: always talking about gifts and passion. If you have a gift,
- 1:31Speaker 1: lead with it and don't let your age, friends, family,
- 1:34Speaker 1: or coworkers stop you from planning or living your dreams.
- 1:37Speaker 1: I interviewed celebrities, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and people I like to
- 1:40Speaker 1: call industry decision makers. My guests is Ricchia Webb. She
- 1:45Speaker 1: has been named she's one of the people are. I
- 1:47Speaker 1: interviewed her several about eighteen months ago. You know Tyler
- 1:50Speaker 1: Peri's Netflix filler Fall from Grad. You know what said
- 1:54Speaker 1: all those views on Netflix at the time, and to me,
- 1:57Speaker 1: that's when she first came into my life. You know
- 2:00Speaker 1: heard about it, but I've actually got a chance to
- 2:02Speaker 1: interview hers in Houston, Texas fantastically. Currently, she can be
- 2:05Speaker 1: seen in a new Stars series Run the World as Renee,
- 2:09Speaker 1: a walking five cracker, cynicism and in your face realness.
- 2:12Speaker 1: This month, you'll be seen in the next installment of
- 2:15Speaker 1: Mary Little Films for Lifetime. It's called Merry Little Baby.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Brescia stars in this Merry Little Baby appears as a
- 2:22Speaker 1: guest in Sherman. What else she does now? Because she
- 2:25Speaker 1: One thing I learned about her is that Sherman showcase,
- 2:28Speaker 1: HBO's Black Lady Comedies, Can't Meet the Blacks right along
- 2:31Speaker 1: too and at the Devil's Door. But Apprecia, it does
- 2:34Speaker 1: not stop. She currently starts her voice on Housebroken for Fox.
- 2:39Speaker 1: But wow, but we're talking about lifetimes married, little baby,
- 2:43Speaker 1: and we're gonna talk about everything, because when you have
- 2:45Speaker 1: a talent like her, they can do voiceover, do comedy,
- 2:49Speaker 1: do drama. She's special. Please working the money making conversation,
- 2:53Speaker 1: breach a way, how you doing breach? Great Rashan, thanks
- 2:56Speaker 1: for having me. And now you residing in California right now? Huh? Yes, yes,
- 3:02Speaker 1: we're in Baltimore, born and raised Baltimore, craptake city. What's
- 3:06Speaker 1: the chomp city? We call a charm city. Yes, man,
- 3:12Speaker 1: that a little that's the little cynicism, a little sardcast
- 3:14Speaker 1: on that. But Baltimore does have the child. So have
- 3:19Speaker 1: you ever thought about doing stand up comedy? Yes? I do?
- 3:23Speaker 1: I do stand up you do? I didn't know that
- 3:24Speaker 1: wasn't your bio. Okay, tell us about your stand up
- 3:27Speaker 1: comedy career because I'm a farmer stand up. So I've
- 3:29Speaker 1: always yes, you know, Deaf comedy, jambt comic view, all
- 3:33Speaker 1: that performed. You know, I managed Steve Harvey, so that's
- 3:36Speaker 1: how he met. You know, I met because he used
- 3:38Speaker 1: to be my opening act. That's how Steve Harvey. So
- 3:41Speaker 1: stand up comforts in my blood. So tell me about
- 3:43Speaker 1: your stand up comedy career because that's nowhere listed in
- 3:45Speaker 1: your bio. So I knew it was something. That's why
- 3:48Speaker 1: I asked, because you're so funny, Oh little thank you.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I mean, I I look at myself as a full
- 3:53Speaker 1: rounded artist. So my dog is very loud. I have
- 3:56Speaker 1: a frenchee and he just came as soon as it
- 3:58Speaker 1: started down. But that was but yeah, so I mean
- 4:06Speaker 1: being you know, I try to be you know, experimental
- 4:11Speaker 1: in my creativity. And so two of my girlfriends dared me,
- 4:16Speaker 1: dared each other to start doing stand up. Um and
- 4:20Speaker 1: I've I've been doing it for over ten years. I've
- 4:23Speaker 1: flowed around with it. Um yeah, something I love to do.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I've met Kevin Hart that way, Mike Epps, Tiffany Hattish
- 4:31Speaker 1: and I became friends doing stand up and you know,
- 4:34Speaker 1: just being really thrusted into the comedic world. I was
- 4:37Speaker 1: I Love That Girl. You know, that was produced by
- 4:40Speaker 1: Um Bentley, Kyle Evans, and Martin Lawrence, and so one
- 4:45Speaker 1: of the requirements to play I'm Unique was for me
- 4:49Speaker 1: to do stand up So that just made me do
- 4:52Speaker 1: that even more. But you know, at the end of
- 4:54Speaker 1: the day, I love acting, you know, like that's my
- 4:57Speaker 1: main thing, so to go on the road and commit
- 4:59Speaker 1: to and it's always something that I have to always
- 5:03Speaker 1: convince me. I gotta give you credit. Now, I was
- 5:08Speaker 1: very talented as a stand up I could not act
- 5:12Speaker 1: somehow when you put the paper in front of me.
- 5:14Speaker 1: I did a couple of films and people said I
- 5:16Speaker 1: was good in it, but I just think I was
- 5:18Speaker 1: just playing a role. It wasn't me. I was. So
- 5:20Speaker 1: it's so extreme, but but the whole process of being
- 5:24Speaker 1: able to capture character because you play so many different characters,
- 5:28Speaker 1: how is that or do you have an acting coach?
- 5:30Speaker 1: How do you pull that off? Well? I've been trained.
- 5:34Speaker 1: I went to Baltimore School for the Arts when I
- 5:37Speaker 1: was in high school, and then I graduated from there
- 5:39Speaker 1: and went to California Institute of the Arts, and that's
- 5:42Speaker 1: what brought me to California. So I have my degree,
- 5:45Speaker 1: right and so with that process, So do you do
- 5:48Speaker 1: you do? You take every role as like for instance,
- 5:51Speaker 1: people say they get they get into the moment. You know,
- 5:54Speaker 1: a lot of your roles are comedic, you know, and
- 5:56Speaker 1: like I said, I met you when we was doing
- 5:58Speaker 1: the very popular Fall from Grace and there was nothing
- 6:02Speaker 1: really funny about that and so so that was major
- 6:06Speaker 1: swing from you being a stand up comedian. How do
- 6:08Speaker 1: you balance those two differences? Well, you know, being a
- 6:13Speaker 1: full rounded artist. You know, that's what I love about
- 6:16Speaker 1: training and really honing your craft. And you know I've
- 6:22Speaker 1: I studied Shakespeare and Ibsen and check Off along with
- 6:26Speaker 1: you know, August Wilson, along with Edward Albie. You know,
- 6:32Speaker 1: you know, you just gotta learn it all, um, and
- 6:36Speaker 1: learn how to have as many you know, things in
- 6:39Speaker 1: your toolbox. And then you know, of course there's God's
- 6:41Speaker 1: gift and the favor. And I was very grateful that,
- 6:45Speaker 1: you know, I started in drama, um, and I was like,
- 6:51Speaker 1: you know, guest star on e Er recurring guest star.
- 6:54Speaker 1: That was like one of my first big gigs. I
- 6:57Speaker 1: did Grey's Anatomy, so I had lots of like drama
- 7:01Speaker 1: stuff under my belt. Uh. And I was just so
- 7:04Speaker 1: grateful that Tyler remembered me and from Acrimony and the
- 7:09Speaker 1: special for me, which was also drama acrimony, and he
- 7:13Speaker 1: was like, I wanna break you into the drama because
- 7:16Speaker 1: people don't know all the things you can do. And
- 7:18Speaker 1: I was like, very grateful for that opportunity. Right when
- 7:22Speaker 1: you we can go back a little bit, the Fall
- 7:24Speaker 1: from Grace, Like I said, I think it's still one
- 7:26Speaker 1: of the you know, I'm a fan of Tyler Perry,
- 7:28Speaker 1: one of the best Tyler Perry films. You know, the
- 7:31Speaker 1: ending I never saw coming. I I was like, wow,
- 7:35Speaker 1: And I just highly recommended so many people. I really
- 7:38Speaker 1: went on social media crazy about the movie, just telling
- 7:40Speaker 1: everybody to watch it now in a movie because the
- 7:44Speaker 1: reason I really respected that movie so much because it
- 7:47Speaker 1: was on Netflix. It still is on Netflix, by the way,
- 7:50Speaker 1: and it opened in a hundred and ninety countries and so,
- 7:54Speaker 1: which is always frustrated me by black movies or black film,
- 7:57Speaker 1: especially when they're running by the studios when they when
- 8:00Speaker 1: it premier them, they premiere them domestically, and so as
- 8:03Speaker 1: a black artist, you really never get that international growth
- 8:07Speaker 1: at international appeal and and that's what all we want
- 8:10Speaker 1: to do. We just want to share our talents with
- 8:12Speaker 1: the world. When that movie, right, when that movie opened
- 8:15Speaker 1: at that wide? Did that did that? Did that have
- 8:18Speaker 1: a major impact of a major influence on your brand
- 8:21Speaker 1: on your social media? Can you talk about the influence
- 8:23Speaker 1: of that movie on your career as well as being
- 8:26Speaker 1: an opening worldwide? Well, anything attached to the amazing Tyler
- 8:32Speaker 1: Perry is a gift to you know, the culture, to mainstream,
- 8:38Speaker 1: to everything. I was given an opportunity to go on
- 8:42Speaker 1: a real press tour and promote a movie that I was,
- 8:47Speaker 1: you know, passionate about and so honored to be a
- 8:50Speaker 1: part of. I mean, I got to work with Crystal
- 8:52Speaker 1: Fox so that you were shot the sicily tysonly she
- 8:58Speaker 1: rest in peace. It was one of her last you
- 9:00Speaker 1: know it gigs, you know, and I cherished those memories
- 9:04Speaker 1: and that that amazing moment to be on set with
- 9:07Speaker 1: her and so and to do press tours with her
- 9:11Speaker 1: and get to know her and all of them, you know,
- 9:14Speaker 1: so more than anything, you know, the following and people
- 9:18Speaker 1: really just loving the movie. I cherish the opportunity to
- 9:23Speaker 1: sit with queens and kings, you know, and cherish that
- 9:26Speaker 1: time to just be a fly on the wall with
- 9:30Speaker 1: all of these grades and to be looked at and
- 9:33Speaker 1: to be ushered into greatness. Um, they're just grateful for
- 9:39Speaker 1: that full opportunity, in that full circle moment to grow
- 9:43Speaker 1: up looking and you know, watching the plays on TV
- 9:46Speaker 1: on Sunday and then to be starring in one was
- 9:51Speaker 1: just incredible. So like everything that comes out of that
- 9:55Speaker 1: is just icing on the cake. Right. We know, I
- 9:58Speaker 1: have to be complimentary of you. You're such a natural
- 10:01Speaker 1: and uh and it's a joy for me to be
- 10:04Speaker 1: able to finally just put your spotlight on you because
- 10:07Speaker 1: that was an ensemble interview that I had. I got
- 10:09Speaker 1: one of two questions in with you. But I look
- 10:12Speaker 1: at the body of work. You know, there are very
- 10:14Speaker 1: few actors or actresses that are doing what you're doing.
- 10:18Speaker 1: I'm talking about voice over. You know, we're talking about drama.
- 10:21Speaker 1: We're talking about comma comedy, now stand up comedy, not
- 10:25Speaker 1: only just sitcom or comedy related productions. Now, let's talk
- 10:29Speaker 1: to before I get to the to the run the world.
- 10:33Speaker 1: How did that come about? And uh, what's your character?
- 10:37Speaker 1: I'm in the world, Oh, Renee Renee Ross. Uh, amazing
- 10:43Speaker 1: uh series created by Lee Davenport executive produced in our
- 10:49Speaker 1: showrunner Vette Wee Bowser from Living Single and so many
- 10:53Speaker 1: amazing great television that she's been a part of it
- 10:57Speaker 1: and has created. You know, they came together created this
- 11:00Speaker 1: amazing woman for TV show. Uh. You know, I would
- 11:05Speaker 1: always be able to watch Sex in the City and
- 11:08Speaker 1: see you know, see myself and ask aspire to be
- 11:12Speaker 1: like those women, to live sexy and independently and fearlessly
- 11:18Speaker 1: in New York and never really seeing a black woman
- 11:21Speaker 1: do that and not apologize for being a strong woman.
- 11:24Speaker 1: And uh that you know that she had fashion saying
- 11:33Speaker 1: all those things. It was very aspirational. So that's what
- 11:37Speaker 1: gravitated me towards the characters that you know, even though
- 11:40Speaker 1: Renee Ross is married and going through her divorce, she's
- 11:44Speaker 1: still fabulous and she doesn't apologize for who she is,
- 11:49Speaker 1: you know, all the things that she is, even if
- 11:51Speaker 1: people don't get it. You know, she's successful. Uh, she
- 11:55Speaker 1: stands up for herself. Um, she's kind of she's a
- 11:59Speaker 1: loose cannon. She's a lot like myself. You know, she's
- 12:03Speaker 1: a tourist. You know, so I've never read something off
- 12:06Speaker 1: the page that just identified with me being a strong
- 12:10Speaker 1: black woman, but also not leading with strong, also showing
- 12:13Speaker 1: that I'm soft and also showing that I'm beautiful and
- 12:16Speaker 1: sexy and I'm fearless, but I still need to be
- 12:20Speaker 1: held and I have great friends that hold you up.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Like all the things that I have with my girlfriends
- 12:25Speaker 1: was reflected into this series. So it's just four best
- 12:28Speaker 1: friends that are navigating your life through New York Um,
- 12:33Speaker 1: not apologizing for who they are and where they come from,
- 12:37Speaker 1: and are taking over the world. That's why it's called
- 12:40Speaker 1: round the World. We'll be right back with more money
- 12:42Speaker 1: making conversations with your start off lifetimes and married Little

- 14:40Speaker 1: Forest Service, your State Forrester, and the ad Council. This
- 14:44Speaker 1: is ro Sean McDonald. Welcome back to money making Conversations.
- 14:47Speaker 1: As I continue my conversation with the Star of Light
- 14:49Speaker 1: Times and Merry Little Christmas Baby, Ricia, Well, we know
- 14:53Speaker 1: the interesting thing about it in this stage, and I've
- 14:55Speaker 1: been fortunate to see us started writing sitcoms in ninety
- 14:58Speaker 1: two on ABC and and just seeing characters they were
- 15:02Speaker 1: just written for comedy, but just wasn't written from a
- 15:05Speaker 1: realistic standpoint. And unfortunately I've survived that whole reality with
- 15:10Speaker 1: black women were just throwing bottles each other in cussion
- 15:12Speaker 1: and fighting. That was just the image of that. And
- 15:15Speaker 1: then the Ray came out with Insecure, which allowed us
- 15:19Speaker 1: for the first time to see two black females stories
- 15:22Speaker 1: being told. And then I see run the world. It
- 15:25Speaker 1: must be good as a black actress to be able
- 15:28Speaker 1: to have content now that feels real, that feels relevant,
- 15:32Speaker 1: but also feels like that were like that. I mean,
- 15:35Speaker 1: there was Girlfriends, there were other shows that paved the
- 15:39Speaker 1: way for us to do what we're doing living single
- 15:41Speaker 1: like you know, this is just a single camera way
- 15:44Speaker 1: of showing life being you know, lived, and that we're
- 15:49Speaker 1: so relatable other cultures, like we're just trying to get
- 15:53Speaker 1: through life, you know, and deal with all of the
- 15:57Speaker 1: things that come with it. You know, we're living successfully
- 16:00Speaker 1: in Harlem, you know, And what does that mean? And
- 16:04Speaker 1: how does that look? What looks now is what's happening
- 16:07Speaker 1: in a lifetime in the series that you have done.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Mary Little Films on Lifetime. Mary Little Baby is a
- 16:13Speaker 1: very Christmas movie. I know Kelly Rowland looked very well
- 16:17Speaker 1: from Houston, Texas when when she was doing a Disney
- 16:19Speaker 1: child and just seeing that character developed out always I'm
- 16:24Speaker 1: gonna tell you I'm a big Christmas love I guess
- 16:27Speaker 1: I get. I love Christmas movie. I can't get enough
- 16:29Speaker 1: of it. This movie. You should watch all three of them.
- 16:32Speaker 1: I'm gonna just tell you this. I love this movie.
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm just going I really you know you know that
- 16:39Speaker 1: all y'all look great, the children look fantastic, They're lovable.
- 16:43Speaker 1: Um there there's just certain moments of cuteness that just
- 16:48Speaker 1: make me smile. You know, the you know, the whole
- 16:51Speaker 1: relationship that you have and your son and the young
- 16:54Speaker 1: man who placed your son, and I believe in him
- 16:57Speaker 1: so much that he really is your son. And so
- 17:01Speaker 1: when you have an unsemble cast, it's all about chemistry.
- 17:04Speaker 1: So talk about that chemistry. And you know who the
- 17:07Speaker 1: guy who played your father who could actually play basketball,
- 17:10Speaker 1: I mean you could actually hoop, he could hope. I
- 17:15Speaker 1: would like this guy for real. I know he's in basketball,
- 17:21Speaker 1: like his daughters in basketball, Like he can loose, like
- 17:25Speaker 1: he goes to tournaments and all kinds of for real,
- 17:28Speaker 1: he could hoop. I was like, okay, I lose a
- 17:30Speaker 1: couple of that. That is what they do. Okay, pretty bad,
- 17:35Speaker 1: could actually loot and then uh. But but when you
- 17:38Speaker 1: have an ensemble that makes me smile and just seeing
- 17:41Speaker 1: you know, just black people looking good on TV and
- 17:44Speaker 1: looking successful and having great storylines bad please right, right?
- 17:50Speaker 1: And that's all I was just saying about. I want
- 17:52Speaker 1: more of that. You know what, when I talk about
- 17:54Speaker 1: the researchers are insecure and I see or run the world,
- 17:57Speaker 1: I'm talking, I always want more. I want I want
- 17:59Speaker 1: Sean rhyme just the owner of the world. I won't
- 18:02Speaker 1: even don a just to run the world because I
- 18:05Speaker 1: have six sisters, you know, and I grew up in
- 18:07Speaker 1: a family of strong black women, and when I all
- 18:10Speaker 1: my life, half my life, I saw their stories not
- 18:12Speaker 1: being told correctly. When I see stories that you know
- 18:16Speaker 1: that that are being put out there by black women,
- 18:19Speaker 1: directed by black women, produced by black women, written by
- 18:22Speaker 1: black women, that's powerful. Not just saying that that that
- 18:25Speaker 1: it has to be done that way, but at least
- 18:27Speaker 1: give it a shot. And so I see this series
- 18:31Speaker 1: being put out there and you're part of it. Talk
- 18:33Speaker 1: about the chemistry and what makes this series so special,
- 18:37Speaker 1: which right now is very little baby, what would be
- 18:39Speaker 1: premier in this month, which is no where absolutely Well, First,
- 18:45Speaker 1: before I talk about I have to talk about the
- 18:47Speaker 1: amazing Kelly Rowland. A lot of people don't know how
- 18:49Speaker 1: much she is influenced in this project. She's the producer,
- 18:56Speaker 1: you know, she's starring in it, she's doing everything, she's
- 19:00Speaker 1: wearing all the hats, she's in costume, and she's everywhere,
- 19:03Speaker 1: um and so much of that makes the chemistry of
- 19:08Speaker 1: where we were, where we started, and how we come
- 19:11Speaker 1: to set to make sure and we do this in Vancouver, Canada,
- 19:16Speaker 1: um or there's not a lot of black people, you know,
- 19:23Speaker 1: to get the black people when you send them to
- 19:28Speaker 1: Vancouver if need be, but they have a few and
- 19:30Speaker 1: we've you know, and it's been great. We've created our
- 19:33Speaker 1: own family. And because this is our third installment, and uh,
- 19:39Speaker 1: Kelly has really set the bar of how we how
- 19:43Speaker 1: we are with each other. She created that family, you know,
- 19:46Speaker 1: that family dynamic from day one. It was great chemistry.
- 19:50Speaker 1: The casting that she did was all just love, you know,
- 19:55Speaker 1: and she put so much of our heart in it,
- 19:57Speaker 1: which makes us put so much of our heart in it.
- 20:00Speaker 1: You know. Um, we have Debbie Morrigan, you know, we
- 20:04Speaker 1: have you know, these incredible people that have lend their
- 20:07Speaker 1: talent and gifts to this film. And you know, she's
- 20:10Speaker 1: made sure that there's people of color, mainly people of
- 20:14Speaker 1: color behind the scenes. They always made sure that there
- 20:18Speaker 1: has been a female director, you know, um, women of
- 20:22Speaker 1: color who are producing. You know, like it's very important
- 20:27Speaker 1: to Kelly if she's going to be a part of it,
- 20:29Speaker 1: that it it changes people's opinion about how black productions
- 20:34Speaker 1: are run. Well, I think that when I you know,
- 20:37Speaker 1: being a guy who's seen it and been knowing Kelly
- 20:40Speaker 1: from Ken Big Kelly, who's like fifteen years old when
- 20:43Speaker 1: I brought on stage is early years. I think one
- 20:47Speaker 1: of the first people who brought on stage as along
- 20:50Speaker 1: with Beyonce and UH introduced him to the world as
- 20:53Speaker 1: performing acts. And I remember several years ago I pitched
- 20:57Speaker 1: her along with NBC sitcom starring her, so I know
- 21:01Speaker 1: her talents, fair work. I have always been just watching her.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I go, I've always so much more. You know that
- 21:11Speaker 1: she's going to bring to the table because the nuances
- 21:14Speaker 1: of acting just so special, and it feels like you
- 21:18Speaker 1: guys are really sisters in this series. It feels like
- 21:22Speaker 1: I feel the the aints you know, of the relationship
- 21:26Speaker 1: issues that you have of being a sister, trying to
- 21:28Speaker 1: do good for a sister, trying to still be your
- 21:31Speaker 1: mom to your son, as well as trying to engage
- 21:34Speaker 1: in another relationship and move forward. All those are natural
- 21:38Speaker 1: paths that that can only be done if you're comfortable
- 21:42Speaker 1: with the with the material want and then also feelized
- 21:45Speaker 1: that this is something that you want to put out
- 21:47Speaker 1: there with the general public, tell everybody about your character.
- 21:49Speaker 1: Let's break that down a little bit, right quick, okay, Well,
- 21:52Speaker 1: care a Little is um the the younger sister, and
- 22:00Speaker 1: she takes all fine by the way, all I'm fine,
- 22:03Speaker 1: by the way. They find the fine got up to
- 22:07Speaker 1: my baby's sister, right, she's she's younger than me, but
- 22:12Speaker 1: you know, but like all the sisters, but you know,
- 22:15Speaker 1: we we really love each other. She supposed she didn't
- 22:21Speaker 1: do something she was supposed to do for the little
- 22:25Speaker 1: that's the thing, and all of the Mary Littles, you see,
- 22:28Speaker 1: Kira just train right, you know, the last flip, the
- 22:33Speaker 1: last one for the wedding. She screwed up the wedding.
- 22:35Speaker 1: She burned the dress, like you just cannot get it together.
- 22:39Speaker 1: She had one role, right, you didn't get that one done,
- 22:44Speaker 1: and this one was hard because I identified with her.
- 22:46Speaker 1: I was like, yo, like she's just trying to get
- 22:49Speaker 1: this done and everything is against her and she had
- 22:53Speaker 1: to depend on like everybody just comes and saves the
- 22:56Speaker 1: day again and she's just like yeah, you know, And
- 23:02Speaker 1: so I mean, care a Little is like that little sister.
- 23:06Speaker 1: You love to hate, but you can't hate because you
- 23:10Speaker 1: can't hate because you're trying so hard. You're trying so
- 23:12Speaker 1: hard to do right, to do right. I wanted her
- 23:16Speaker 1: to try a little hard, but try hard hard. But
- 23:21Speaker 1: you know that the thing I like about you is
- 23:23Speaker 1: that you're trying hard as a as a mall. You're
- 23:26Speaker 1: trying hard in a relationship that you want to last,
- 23:29Speaker 1: and then this serious relationship will go further. I won't
- 23:32Speaker 1: give away any lines and that we can't do that,
- 23:37Speaker 1: you know, because they won't let me any of you
- 23:38Speaker 1: anymore if I blow it. But the beauty of it
- 23:41Speaker 1: is that you make me smile breachia well, you know,
- 23:46Speaker 1: And I think that is important that I tell you
- 23:48Speaker 1: that because I get to see a lot I've been
- 23:50Speaker 1: fortunate in my life. I got this. I've seen a
- 23:52Speaker 1: lot of you know, people who matured, and it's always
- 23:56Speaker 1: another wave of talent that problems. And you own that way.
- 24:00Speaker 1: You're on that next passage and your own excuse me,
- 24:03Speaker 1: you already on it. You know you're just about to
- 24:06Speaker 1: ascend it to another opportunity because you can do all
- 24:10Speaker 1: the new voice over you and that a lot of
- 24:12Speaker 1: people understand how hard it is for a black person
- 24:15Speaker 1: to break in the voice over. Let alone do it,
- 24:18Speaker 1: and you're doing it successfully. A lot of people don't understand.
- 24:21Speaker 1: When I look at your resume. You know, like I said,
- 24:23Speaker 1: believe me, the shows I mentioned are only part of it.
- 24:26Speaker 1: We would get tired if I just start going down
- 24:28Speaker 1: the list of it. And I only say that in
- 24:30Speaker 1: a complimentary manner. How you get tired because you want
- 24:33Speaker 1: to resume like that? But in this series Married Little Baby,
- 24:36Speaker 1: which is own Lifetimes, a Lifetime series November twenty seven,
- 24:40Speaker 1: it will be premiering. It's a movie you have to watch.
- 24:42Speaker 1: And if you have to say anything about your character,
- 24:44Speaker 1: anything about the family that I love to death, why
- 24:47Speaker 1: would you tell people to watch this other than in
- 24:50Speaker 1: fact that you're starting and it did you wonderful? And
- 24:52Speaker 1: Kelly Rowland as a good friend of mine from USA
- 24:54Speaker 1: Texas and she's amazing as user and the cast is
- 24:56Speaker 1: fantastic and Pops can hoop like a T League basketball player.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Talk tell us. I mean, watch this movie if you
- 25:07Speaker 1: want to be a fly on the wall and see
- 25:09Speaker 1: a family full of love, tell a beautiful story about
- 25:14Speaker 1: Christmas love. Well, I'm a big Christmas guy. And the
- 25:18Speaker 1: foods in the movie, the people we make sure that
- 25:21Speaker 1: our culture was accounting for and stay to the end,
- 25:26Speaker 1: and stay to the end of the movie. They got
- 25:27Speaker 1: a great They got some great little photos that they
- 25:30Speaker 1: shows I'll take, so I should use. I haven't even
- 25:34Speaker 1: seen it. All I was saying is that when you
- 25:38Speaker 1: start watching this movie hanging there all the way through,
- 25:41Speaker 1: you're gonna laugh, You're gonna cry. You know. The sister
- 25:45Speaker 1: is uh so many. Each one of the sisters has
- 25:49Speaker 1: a good personal crisis. That's the beauty of this this
- 25:54Speaker 1: particular one. Each one has a personal crisis. You know.
- 25:56Speaker 1: It's not about the wedding not being pulled off with
- 25:59Speaker 1: in that if they're about to introduce something that's going
- 26:02Speaker 1: to be unique and change their lives. And that's the
- 26:05Speaker 1: storyline for this particular episode though, Mary Little Baby with
- 26:08Speaker 1: emphasis Own Baby, it's great. I'm recommending all my friends
- 26:12Speaker 1: to watch it and appreciate. Thank you for taking the
- 26:14Speaker 1: time to allow me to interview you in your in
- 26:17Speaker 1: your realm, your home, your kingdom of Los Angeles where
- 26:21Speaker 1: you're dominating and become the big star that you're supposed
- 26:24Speaker 1: to be. Thank you so much, thanks for having me.
- 26:26Speaker 1: And I should also promote this other film that's coming
- 26:31Speaker 1: out on Own I believe in December called Long and
- 26:35Speaker 1: Story Amazing Grace. Okay, what can I bring you back
- 26:39Speaker 1: for that. How about that because I have a great relationship. Okay,

- 27:06Speaker 1: to do, to be able to push a talent like

- 27:10Speaker 1: So what do you want to or not Rushan McDonald's
