- 1:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something, snoop. Um, you our version
- 1:16Speaker 1: of me because you don't know how to sleep. Girl.
- 1:21Speaker 1: You don't know at all. You know, it's really but
- 1:25Speaker 1: you know I don't. I don't consider when people ask
- 1:27Speaker 1: me all the time how many hours I get. You know,
- 1:30Speaker 1: I just tell people I go to bed, but I
- 1:32Speaker 1: feel like going to bed. But I do wake up
- 1:33Speaker 1: at the same time every day. And you know that's
- 1:37Speaker 1: key because a lot of people think you can just
- 1:39Speaker 1: drift your times, you know, I get up. No, you
- 1:41Speaker 1: can't talk about that whole process of a day in
- 1:44Speaker 1: the life of you. And then I want to talk
- 1:45Speaker 1: about your foundation because I got you for two breaks.
- 1:48Speaker 1: I want to talk about a number of things. I
- 1:50Speaker 1: also want to talk about the money making mondays that
- 1:52Speaker 1: you do as well. So let's talk about a day
- 1:54Speaker 1: in your life, Snoop, A day in my life. So um, generally,
- 1:59Speaker 1: so you know, we know today is Monday. So normally
- 2:02Speaker 1: on Mondays I meet with follow my gms and my
- 2:05Speaker 1: higher ups, and um, just make sure we're on the
- 2:08Speaker 1: same page. Talk about any issues, any two dos, um,
- 2:12Speaker 1: anything we want to improve on, and then I kind
- 2:14Speaker 1: of make my rounds and check in the businesses and
- 2:17Speaker 1: so um throughout the week. UM, I kind of I
- 2:21Speaker 1: really I'm very organized and I kind of run myself
- 2:24Speaker 1: on the set schedule. So that's what I do. On
- 2:27Speaker 1: Monday's Tuesdays, I normally get out and look at real
- 2:29Speaker 1: estate properties and um, take care of a couple of
- 2:33Speaker 1: other little meetings. Sometimes I'm gonna do business consultations on Tuesdays. UM.
- 2:40Speaker 1: On Wednesdays, I normally work on my app and then
- 2:44Speaker 1: Friday is generally kind of my personal day. Thursday is
- 2:47Speaker 1: kind of a clean up day, UM, just going to
- 2:49Speaker 1: the businesses and making sure that they're executing the way
- 2:53Speaker 1: that we need to be. Now that issues. Do you
- 2:56Speaker 1: have a driver or you or use driving yourself? I'm
- 2:59Speaker 1: dying myself, unfortunately I need one. Girl. I'm trying. I'm
- 3:03Speaker 1: trying to figure out how you're doing all this because
- 3:05Speaker 1: I know you your your your hands free driving correct. Yes, absolutely,
- 3:11Speaker 1: you know how it is coming through. See, I'm just
- 3:20Speaker 1: trying to keep you around okay, because see I know
- 3:22Speaker 1: you're doing all the little trick moved. You're looking off
- 3:25Speaker 1: and dialing with your finger calling. We can't have that.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I've learned my lessons from that in the past. See
- 3:31Speaker 1: what I'm saying, We got to stop all that. That's
- 3:33Speaker 1: what I'm saying. We're gonna We're gonna first of all,
- 3:35Speaker 1: me and you're gonna meet. I'm gonna girl, look at him.
- 3:37Speaker 1: You need to set aside just a little money for
- 3:40Speaker 1: somebody just drive you around during the day. You can't lie.
- 3:43Speaker 1: You know. That's actually one of my goals. I said
- 3:46Speaker 1: next year for my birthday. I'm gonna go ahead and
- 3:48Speaker 1: get that going because you have to because of the
- 3:50Speaker 1: fact that you know, because I know, because I'm multitask
- 3:54Speaker 1: and I you know, I've done every trick, bad trick,
- 3:57Speaker 1: moved driving that you can do. And I know, only Lord,
- 4:02Speaker 1: how many prayers and save me somebody out there. I
- 4:03Speaker 1: would tell people when they say in the prayer to me,
- 4:05Speaker 1: I should keep praying some additional prayers out there, because
- 4:09Speaker 1: I do so many stupid things when I drive. Because
- 4:11Speaker 1: you try to think you don't really value it's really
- 4:15Speaker 1: how much impact you have, and if you're gone, how
- 4:18Speaker 1: much impact it would how much it would affect so
- 4:21Speaker 1: many different people and that's what you're doing. And I
- 4:24Speaker 1: want in this first break, I want to talk about
- 4:26Speaker 1: your your foundation. Let's talk about that first and then
- 4:29Speaker 1: we get in the next I want to bring up
- 4:30Speaker 1: money making conversations, making money making mondays that you do
- 4:33Speaker 1: on your Instagram account at a PM Easter standard time
- 4:36Speaker 1: every Monday. So let's talk about this. So my my foundation,
- 4:40Speaker 1: her impact. UM. It's a foundation that I've recently started
- 4:44Speaker 1: within the past couple of months. UM. We're in the
- 4:47Speaker 1: process of kind of getting our border directors together. But
- 4:51Speaker 1: the basis of the foundation is to help other women
- 4:56Speaker 1: and young girls become entrepreneur tours and just put them
- 5:01Speaker 1: in a place of financial literacy. UM and just kind
- 5:06Speaker 1: of helps impact the world, UM in any and every
- 5:10Speaker 1: way I can. And so UM we do this through
- 5:13Speaker 1: having a series of charity foundations throughout the year. We
- 5:19Speaker 1: do four to six charity foundations that include UM Pamper Drive. UM.
- 5:24Speaker 1: They include UM France Giving, which is UH basically feeding
- 5:31Speaker 1: UH me at a group of our friends coming together,
- 5:33Speaker 1: feeding as many people as we can. Snoop is gonna
- 5:37Speaker 1: cary this to the next break, Okay, we don't care.
- 5:39Speaker 1: Just to apologize. Fundy making conversation. Be right back mcgirl, Snoop, Hi,
- 5:44Speaker 1: just for Sean McDonald. You're listening to money making conversation
- 5:46Speaker 1: on the phone? Is who is Snoop? That's right to
- 5:49Speaker 1: go to who is snoop dot com? Or at who
- 5:52Speaker 1: is Snoop? Then you will find out a lot about
- 5:55Speaker 1: this incredible interview I'm having with Snoop who was on
- 5:57Speaker 1: the phone right now. Snoop, you were telling me about
- 6:01Speaker 1: her Impact Foundation. I apologize time ring out, but I
- 6:05Speaker 1: wanted you to complete that thought because I feel that
- 6:08Speaker 1: that's important as an entrepreneur, as a successful person that
- 6:11Speaker 1: you do. Are you understand the value of giving back
- 6:14Speaker 1: and the importance and giving back? Give us more detail
- 6:16Speaker 1: about her impact talk to me about that, and I
- 6:20Speaker 1: think it's a little you know, it's a little easier
- 6:22Speaker 1: to always keep that in mind at the forefront, you know,
- 6:25Speaker 1: when you come from humble beginning. So but as I
- 6:28Speaker 1: was saying, you know, her Impact Foundation, it's just a
- 6:31Speaker 1: a foundation that UM I started to be able to
- 6:36Speaker 1: UM give back to the community, UM and just make
- 6:39Speaker 1: sure that I'm always keeping UM charity and others. You know,
- 6:44Speaker 1: at the forefront, you know of what it is that
- 6:47Speaker 1: I do now. Now with that being said, on Mondays,
- 6:52Speaker 1: I do money making conversations. Then you do money making
- 6:56Speaker 1: Mondays on your Instagram. That's why I know it's sending you.
- 6:59Speaker 1: We're gonna talk of day. Okay, so tell us money
- 7:02Speaker 1: making Monday start on your Instagram account. Yes, so money
- 7:07Speaker 1: making mondays. Um, I saw that maybe about four years ago. Um.
- 7:13Speaker 1: And pretty much what it is is it's a platform
- 7:16Speaker 1: or free platform for me to be able to give
- 7:20Speaker 1: advice to other entrepreneurs or aspiring entrepreneurs. Um. And so
- 7:27Speaker 1: what I do is, um, it's a lot of storytelling,
- 7:30Speaker 1: telling my story and how it is that I get
- 7:33Speaker 1: to where I am today. UM. And it's an open platform.
- 7:37Speaker 1: I do it live on my Instagram UM and answer
- 7:40Speaker 1: various questions you know, from other individuals out there. So, UM,
- 7:45Speaker 1: it gives gives people kind of that one on one
- 7:48Speaker 1: time and access to me, right because see that's why
- 7:52Speaker 1: I started money making conversation started on my Facebook page.
- 7:55Speaker 1: And so when I was managing Steve Harvey, you know,
- 7:58Speaker 1: people are always coming to me can mentor me? Can
- 8:00Speaker 1: you can I call you? You know the same That's
- 8:03Speaker 1: why you know the same thing has happened to her
- 8:04Speaker 1: all the time. You can you can you can I
- 8:06Speaker 1: get your number? Can I get your email? Money making
- 8:10Speaker 1: Mondays eight pm each standard time on my Instagram crown
- 8:14Speaker 1: at who is New? You can? You can get online
- 8:17Speaker 1: and then you can follow me and then you can
- 8:19Speaker 1: ask me any questions. I mentor you through my Instagram account.
- 8:21Speaker 1: That's what she's saying, and then she gets Then other
- 8:24Speaker 1: people have similar questions and she could answer thousands of people.
- 8:29Speaker 1: Are hundreds of people at the same time from an
- 8:32Speaker 1: expert standpoint, because generally people have the same question. They're
- 8:36Speaker 1: the same How do I start a business? How do
- 8:38Speaker 1: our attacks or how employed? All all the things that
- 8:41Speaker 1: people need to know. But the fact that you're taking
- 8:44Speaker 1: time because I know that's why I started the radio show,
- 8:46Speaker 1: because I know on my Instagram card, I was just
- 8:49Speaker 1: doing it. I wasn't even doing it live. She's smart,
- 8:51Speaker 1: she's doing it live when she can talk. I was
- 8:54Speaker 1: doing a chat, so you know, I was chatting. Somebody
- 8:56Speaker 1: asked me a question. They want to know another courtion
- 8:59Speaker 1: about six courtions down before I wrapped up with that
- 9:01Speaker 1: one person. So I know the value of what you're
- 9:04Speaker 1: talking about. But again, it's still about giving information to
- 9:08Speaker 1: people not charging for the information, you know, taking advantage
- 9:11Speaker 1: of the blessings given to you. You returned it with
- 9:14Speaker 1: this information portal called moneymaking. Mondays absolutely. Now let's talk
- 9:19Speaker 1: about Dillard Hospitality Group. That's you. How did they come about?
- 9:23Speaker 1: You know, I said earlier, you're serial entrepreneur. Talk about
- 9:27Speaker 1: different business businesses that you have under that umbrella. Yeah.
- 9:32Speaker 1: So I've been an entrepreneur for the past eleven years,
- 9:37Speaker 1: ever since I was about I went to Banda by
- 9:39Speaker 1: an age sixteen, graduated at twenty, and I've been owning
- 9:44Speaker 1: businesses ever since about a year after college. And so, UM,
- 9:49Speaker 1: once I kind of had my prowl and error and
- 9:52Speaker 1: you know, some of those failures that actually started having
- 9:54Speaker 1: successful businesses, UM, I decided to kind of put them
- 9:58Speaker 1: under this um rella Dealer Hospitality, you know, for all
- 10:02Speaker 1: of my restaurant tentures. Um and so I've been here,
- 10:06Speaker 1: I've been here in Atlanta for about ten years. I
- 10:09Speaker 1: started a party bus company when I first moved here.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Party of bus, a party of bus company. Now, what
- 10:16Speaker 1: exactly was that party busking? What exactly was that? Um if?
- 10:21Speaker 1: I owned party buses and so people could rent the
- 10:24Speaker 1: buses to take them out UM, and so it was
- 10:27Speaker 1: a really big thing, you know back when I was
- 10:30Speaker 1: doing it. Uh. But yeah, so UM I was doing that,
- 10:34Speaker 1: and I was doing it for about two or three years.
- 10:36Speaker 1: It was it was fairly successful. You know, we've got profited,
- 10:40Speaker 1: you know, over six figures a year and things of
- 10:42Speaker 1: that nature. But it wasn't something that I love and
- 10:44Speaker 1: something that I really enjoyed. UM. And what I really
- 10:48Speaker 1: love and enjoy doing is the actually the restaurants and
- 10:51Speaker 1: the lounges and so UM. I saved my money from
- 10:54Speaker 1: that business then was able to open up UM, which
- 10:58Speaker 1: was my second lounge. I opened up my first lounge
- 11:00Speaker 1: when I was twenty four, But my second one, which
- 11:03Speaker 1: ended up being my first successful one, was the Hohoka Hideaway,
- 11:07Speaker 1: which I owned right off of Auburn Avenue on yet
- 11:10Speaker 1: the Heo Junior Drive, and so UM started that business. UM.
- 11:15Speaker 1: A couple of years into that venture, I was able
- 11:19Speaker 1: to connect with the Rapper two Chains UM. I had
- 11:22Speaker 1: wanted to do a second location UM and the business
- 11:25Speaker 1: people kind of linked us together. I felt like we
- 11:28Speaker 1: would be a good, good payer to do business with
- 11:31Speaker 1: each other UM and they were right, and UM, you know,
- 11:36Speaker 1: we we got together and we did Escobar Restaurant in
- 11:39Speaker 1: tap of Us. We later opened members only allowed. He
- 11:42Speaker 1: was just right down count as well Um. And then
- 11:45Speaker 1: I also owned crave Um solely by myself. It's a
- 11:50Speaker 1: restaurant venture that I just opened a couple of weeks
- 11:52Speaker 1: ago at a little five point um. And then you know, Snoo,
- 11:58Speaker 1: you're too much now, you know, because you're not even
- 12:01Speaker 1: stressing in this. I'm tired listening to you, Snoop. But
- 12:04Speaker 1: somewhere along the line, I gotta stop you and say,
- 12:07Speaker 1: first of all, you know, I went to Vanderbilt when
- 12:10Speaker 1: I was sixteen, graduated when I was Jesus Castle. I
- 12:13Speaker 1: went to I went to the University of Knew I
- 12:15Speaker 1: was eighteen. I graduating, Okay, I'll just let you know
- 12:17Speaker 1: what you're talking to. Okay, I got a math degree,
- 12:20Speaker 1: but I'm gonna slow you down. Now. I'm proud of
- 12:22Speaker 1: my looking degree, but I wasn't sixteen and twenty okay.
- 12:25Speaker 1: And then open my next restaurant. And then I had
- 12:28Speaker 1: the party Kings. We're making six figures, but I wasn't
- 12:30Speaker 1: happy with the way I was making a six figures
- 12:32Speaker 1: and I gotten busy with a rapper. We hit it
- 12:34Speaker 1: right off, you know. So now we got that, we
- 12:37Speaker 1: got this, we got that, and then crazy I decided
- 12:39Speaker 1: to do that on my own. Now let's talk about that.
- 12:41Speaker 1: Let's talk about this though. You're gonna have a driver
- 12:44Speaker 1: next year because I want you to live to you
- 12:47Speaker 1: old and rus Sean McDonald telling you right now. You
- 12:53Speaker 1: never met me before, but you know, I love you, girl,
- 12:56Speaker 1: and I want you because you're doing stuff for the community,
- 13:00Speaker 1: doing stuff for yourself. You showing women a form of
- 13:03Speaker 1: empowerment that you can do business multi levels of business
- 13:07Speaker 1: in the hospitality world okay, which we know is a
- 13:11Speaker 1: male dominated world, okay, and so and being successful. So
- 13:15Speaker 1: so I jokingly just stopped you so you can hear
- 13:19Speaker 1: yourself because people like me, like you have a general
- 13:23Speaker 1: tendency just keep doing stuff. But don't understand that what
- 13:26Speaker 1: you're doing is not normal. You know that, you know
- 13:30Speaker 1: what you're doing is not normal, correct, Yeah, just because
- 13:36Speaker 1: a lot of times I think when you're super motivated person,
- 13:40Speaker 1: you always doing a lot of things. You know it,
- 13:42Speaker 1: definitely it's really important to stop and smell your own roles,
- 13:45Speaker 1: and you know what I mean, and you know, kind
- 13:47Speaker 1: of give yourself that pat on the back. You know
- 13:49Speaker 1: you do. We forget to do that, you know you do,
- 13:52Speaker 1: And I think that's important. That's why I developed this
- 13:55Speaker 1: show because it's about being having a balanced life. You know,
- 13:58Speaker 1: I didn't I wasn't really understanding that being able to
- 14:01Speaker 1: because I was just onto the next, onto the next,
- 14:03Speaker 1: onto the next, And sometimes you get nervous. Sometimes that
- 14:07Speaker 1: nervousness drive you to the next because you don't know
- 14:09Speaker 1: if you miss out on an opportunity, will it come around.
- 14:12Speaker 1: But you know, your brand is such snoop that you know,
- 14:15Speaker 1: I'm just looking at I'm just looking at now, you know. Now,
- 14:18Speaker 1: it's just it's just it's protecting you, you know what
- 14:20Speaker 1: I'm saying, but allowing you to sit back and and
- 14:23Speaker 1: like I said, and you have the right to sitting
- 14:25Speaker 1: in the throne. You have the right to sit in
- 14:26Speaker 1: the throne and understand these are the people who are
- 14:29Speaker 1: allowed me to be great. And because you've done the work,
- 14:33Speaker 1: you got you got the resume to justify that you
- 14:35Speaker 1: are great. And so when I look at this now,
- 14:38Speaker 1: tell us about the Crave restaurant here it was a
- 14:40Speaker 1: little five points. Tell us about that menu restaurant. It
- 14:43Speaker 1: has a really unique concept behind it. What I did
- 14:45Speaker 1: is I looked at the phenomenon that we haven't here
- 14:49Speaker 1: in Atlanta, which is, um, you know, most of the
- 14:52Speaker 1: people here are not from here. You know, You've got
- 14:54Speaker 1: a melting pot of people that come from different cities
- 14:57Speaker 1: and countries and things of that nature. And so um,
- 15:00Speaker 1: a lot of us that are born and raised here
- 15:02Speaker 1: in Atlanta, we come from other cities, and we've got
- 15:06Speaker 1: signature dishes and things of that nature that these other
- 15:08Speaker 1: cities are known for that a lot of people crave
- 15:11Speaker 1: and miss you know, once they missed once they moved here.
- 15:14Speaker 1: So UM, I kind of played off that, and um,
- 15:17Speaker 1: we serve things like Maine Lobster Roads, Billy Cheese Steaks, Detroit,
- 15:22Speaker 1: Coney Islands, Uh, Chicago Guy Roles. So I took items
- 15:28Speaker 1: from popular cities around the country, UM, and just put
- 15:31Speaker 1: them all together on the menu. And so you know,
- 15:33Speaker 1: you've got people coming in from Ohio that are used
- 15:37Speaker 1: to their five Points Skyline chili um, and they can
- 15:41Speaker 1: they can literally get it right there and crave and
- 15:43Speaker 1: it takes, you know, just like it used to taste
- 15:45Speaker 1: back at home. So UM, that's the unique concept that
- 15:48Speaker 1: I came up with. It crave and like I said,
- 15:51Speaker 1: we've been up for about two weeks. We'll be having
- 15:53Speaker 1: our grand opening um the end of this moth. Okay, okay, okay, cool.
- 15:57Speaker 1: You know I gotta I'm a foodie. Now you if
- 16:00Speaker 1: you don't let me if I'm not there for it,
- 16:01Speaker 1: because you know I do. Just think called rush is
- 16:04Speaker 1: my little uh. I put it on my I got
- 16:06Speaker 1: almost a million followers and I post popular restaurants popularly
- 16:10Speaker 1: the reason I go to and then you know you
- 16:13Speaker 1: you'm a girl, so I gotta be there to support
- 16:16Speaker 1: you because of the fact that many come out and
- 16:19Speaker 1: try some of this. Let's let's do it before you know,
- 16:23Speaker 1: because you're doing like a little a little eithery thing, right,
- 16:26Speaker 1: but we bring people in their samples. How Yet, we'll
- 16:29Speaker 1: be doing that with the media. I think we get
- 16:32Speaker 1: that schedule for the eight teams. I've got to check
- 16:34Speaker 1: with the team. But yet we definitely will be doing
- 16:37Speaker 1: that and will make sure that you're there. Okay, make
- 16:39Speaker 1: sure you tell me what time I have a flight
- 16:41Speaker 1: out on the on the teeth that night, but I
- 16:44Speaker 1: will move it. I will move it for you because
- 16:46Speaker 1: I know I'll tell you something because I just love
- 16:50Speaker 1: what you do. I love your brain. I love what
- 16:51Speaker 1: you're trying to do. I know next time, if you
- 16:54Speaker 1: have time. I know you're busy. You know if you
- 16:56Speaker 1: can come in studio, we can talk long. Because you
- 16:58Speaker 1: have such a fascinating story of such a great a
- 17:01Speaker 1: great position of where you, where you are in life,
- 17:03Speaker 1: and you're first of all more important, you have a
- 17:05Speaker 1: sense of humor, which I love the most. Um she
- 17:08Speaker 1: is called Snoop? Who is snow tonight? On our Instagram?
