- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time y'all
- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know y'all back a suit, looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like the million bucks bus things. And
- 0:17Speaker 1: it's not true. Good Steve to mother for star, don't joy.
- 0:58Speaker 1: You gotta use that turn out. You gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out, got to turn them out. Then turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: the water the water. Come come on your baby, Uh huh,
- 2:02Speaker 1: I shall will a good marning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:06Speaker 1: the voice, come on, dig me now want it all?
- 2:09Speaker 1: It's Steve Harvey got a radio show. Well all right,
- 2:16Speaker 1: I've learned something and in sharing time, and I am
- 2:22Speaker 1: all ever appreciated. I do appreciate God for all that
- 2:27Speaker 1: he allows me to learn in my life. One of
- 2:32Speaker 1: the best lessons I've learned is that hardship teaches you
- 2:40Speaker 1: some great lessons. Challenges brings about some of my best results.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I think what I'm trying to say is in every
- 2:51Speaker 1: challenge and hardship, every setback, I've learned something so so valuable.
- 3:00Speaker 1: So here's what I've You know, I've known this, but
- 3:04Speaker 1: I've just learned it at a different angle. Appreciation and
- 3:09Speaker 1: gratitude is the key to having more. Now. I don't
- 3:17Speaker 1: know how that sound to you, but I can't tell
- 3:21Speaker 1: you how true it is. God being fair and just
- 3:26Speaker 1: as he really is. He really is. He's a fair
- 3:29Speaker 1: and a just God. What's most beneficial to us is
- 3:32Speaker 1: he happens to be full of mercy and grace. And
- 3:40Speaker 1: I'm telling you something, man, I've probably benefited from his
- 3:46Speaker 1: grace and mercy more than anything else. I mean, really, man,
- 3:52Speaker 1: if it wasn't for him just forgiving me, and then
- 3:58Speaker 1: for him just touching my life the way he has,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I mean, I'm I'm not hearing this position today. I'm
- 4:05Speaker 1: just not. But a funny thing has happened along the way,
- 4:10Speaker 1: even to you. If you look at it, is it
- 4:14Speaker 1: your genuine appreciation and gratitude has been the key to
- 4:20Speaker 1: you having more for your continued blessings and for making
- 4:25Speaker 1: room for having to open up and pour out blessings
- 4:29Speaker 1: that you don't have room enough to receive. If you
- 4:32Speaker 1: look at it, see God being a fair and just God,
- 4:35Speaker 1: which he is, why would he put more on you
- 4:42Speaker 1: than you can bad? If you've noticed everything that's happened
- 4:46Speaker 1: in your life, if you're still here, you've made it,
- 4:50Speaker 1: you know, forget how rough. It was got that, but
- 4:53Speaker 1: you made it. Forget what it sent you through when
- 4:57Speaker 1: it hid made you feel you made it. Now, what
- 5:03Speaker 1: makes people give up and you hear about people committing suicide,
- 5:07Speaker 1: is they leave the God out of their life and
- 5:10Speaker 1: they start allowing that other voice to control. And if
- 5:14Speaker 1: it's really true that God never puts more on you
- 5:16Speaker 1: than you can bear, as long as you stay connected
- 5:19Speaker 1: to God, you can get through anything. But you lose
- 5:23Speaker 1: that connection, you lose that communication, you lose that relationship
- 5:30Speaker 1: with him. If you're not having a relationship with God,
- 5:33Speaker 1: then who you're having a relationship with now? And it
- 5:39Speaker 1: ain't but two forces at work at all time. It's
- 5:42Speaker 1: good and evil, it's positive and negative. It's God, it's Satan. Now,
- 5:51Speaker 1: this is at work all the time. So if you're
- 5:56Speaker 1: not being positive about everything, you leave room for negativity
- 6:00Speaker 1: to step in. If you're not trying to be righteous
- 6:04Speaker 1: in your way, then you allow evil to step in.
- 6:09Speaker 1: If you don't work on your relationship with God, come on, now,
- 6:13Speaker 1: look who you're letting step in. So now I'm asking
- 6:18Speaker 1: you to understand that God never puts more on you
- 6:22Speaker 1: than you can bar. Okay, now that we got that clear.
- 6:25Speaker 1: That's a fact. Okay, Now with that fact in mind,
- 6:28Speaker 1: let's go over this right here. Why would God, being
- 6:31Speaker 1: as just and merciful as he is, put more on
- 6:36Speaker 1: you than you can bear? Example, if God has given
- 6:40Speaker 1: you blessings and all you're doing is complaining about him,
- 6:45Speaker 1: you're never showing any appreciation of gratitude about it. Why
- 6:49Speaker 1: would he give you some more stuff to be ungrateful for?
- 6:52Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff to complain about?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Why would he give you some more stuff that you
- 6:57Speaker 1: would not show any more appreciation and for? I mean,
- 7:01Speaker 1: this thing is real simple, man, ain't it if you
- 7:03Speaker 1: think about it? So? A lot of times, man, when
- 7:06Speaker 1: I was going through my positions of not having it
- 7:09Speaker 1: and wondering at all, like here, I ended up checking
- 7:11Speaker 1: myself and going, man, I'm not even showing any gratitude
- 7:15Speaker 1: or appreciation for the things He has done for me.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Start showing some appreciation and gratitude, because it's the key
- 7:21Speaker 1: to having more. It's the key to continued blessings. It's
- 7:25Speaker 1: the key to the wonders of heaven opening up and
- 7:28Speaker 1: pouring out a blessing that you won't have room enough
- 7:31Speaker 1: to receive. It's the appreciation and gratitude of what you
- 7:36Speaker 1: already have, as minimal as it may appear to be
- 7:41Speaker 1: right now for you, it is still what you have.
- 7:45Speaker 1: But if you've shown no gratual, no gratitude for the minimal,
- 7:50Speaker 1: why would he give you the maximum? I mean, I'm
- 7:56Speaker 1: just really just trying to put it real, real, simple,
- 7:59Speaker 1: so I can keep understanding this thing right here. So
- 8:02Speaker 1: let me give you an example. In my life, I
- 8:05Speaker 1: had gotten so busy at one point that I had
- 8:10Speaker 1: begun to complain about how busy I was. This is
- 8:15Speaker 1: true because I am busy, but it ain't the busy
- 8:20Speaker 1: part because I asked to be busy. You know, I
- 8:23Speaker 1: asked God to give me opportunities and to make a
- 8:27Speaker 1: way for me. Well, in that you got to do something,
- 8:30Speaker 1: and you got to get busy. But I began to
- 8:34Speaker 1: complain about the business and how busy I was, and
- 8:38Speaker 1: I noticed that a couple of things slowed up for me.
- 8:42Speaker 1: So I had got to the point where I wasn't
- 8:45Speaker 1: showing real gratitude for it. Well, I looked up and
- 8:48Speaker 1: a couple of things started slowing down, and then I
- 8:51Speaker 1: had to catch myself and I went, wow, man, you
- 8:54Speaker 1: have got to start embracing the fact that you are
- 8:58Speaker 1: this busy. Embrace it is the fact that what all
- 9:01Speaker 1: comes along with it. Because to whom much is given,
- 9:03Speaker 1: much is required. You got to start embracing the requirement
- 9:08Speaker 1: part if you want to continue with the giving part.
- 9:12Speaker 1: So I changed my attitude. I caught myself and I
- 9:15Speaker 1: started thinking him and showing real gratitude for how busy
- 9:18Speaker 1: I was, instead of complaining about how busy I was.
- 9:20Speaker 1: And then guess what, It opened up the windows of
- 9:23Speaker 1: heaven and some more blessings got poured out. It just
- 9:26Speaker 1: works that way all the time, for everybody, for me,
- 9:29Speaker 1: for you, for everybody. So listen, y'all again, your appreciation
- 9:34Speaker 1: and gratitude is the key to having more. Your appreciation
- 9:37Speaker 1: and gratitude is the key to continued blessings. And your
- 9:41Speaker 1: appreciation and gratitude it's the only way that you can
- 9:45Speaker 1: get those windows of heaven to open up and pour
- 9:47Speaker 1: out to these blessings that you won't have room enough
- 9:50Speaker 1: to receive. You gotta act like you're glad for what
- 9:52Speaker 1: you got in order to get more. You feel me,
- 9:56Speaker 1: Let's go, Good morning, everybody. I cannot believe it. Monday.
- 10:06Speaker 1: You back again. You just left and now you are
- 10:10Speaker 1: back again. But that's okay. We're gonna do this. Getting
- 10:14Speaker 1: that right. Shirlet's Starberry for the Steve Hobby Morning Show.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Isn't that right? Happy Monday is correct? Jacob, morning to you.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Monday's back up in here again? What about it? What
- 10:26Speaker 1: about it? Calling? Fuck Ram? What's going on? Monday morning?
- 10:29Speaker 1: To you girl? Happy Monday morning to you too? Jay?
- 10:34Speaker 1: What's up? Crew? What's going on in my writing partner?
- 10:37Speaker 1: And crying my sick buddy? What's up? Junior's in the house?
- 10:41Speaker 1: What's up Junior? Jaye? It just left, It just left,
- 10:48Speaker 1: but we hit on. What are you talking about? Monday?
- 10:54Speaker 1: It's just left. I just forgot ready and left. But
- 11:00Speaker 1: not at least he is the game of Frank, y'all.
- 11:03Speaker 1: Put your hands together. The time. Time is the time
- 11:05Speaker 1: of smiles, y'all in the building. What's up, y'all? Top
- 11:09Speaker 1: of the morning. It's Monday morning to everybody. Man, it's
- 11:12Speaker 1: good morning, camera, yeah, good morning, good more, we see you.
- 11:17Speaker 1: I had a really good, really good love was my
- 11:21Speaker 1: teeth white? I'm good, white man. I had a good weekend, y'all,
- 11:27Speaker 1: A really good weekend, A really good weekend. Was your weekend. Well,
- 11:31Speaker 1: I was in Piedemart punk at the Dogwood Festival and
- 11:34Speaker 1: they do this every year down there. I went down there.
- 11:37Speaker 1: It was so nice to have a mask on, and
- 11:39Speaker 1: this is what I was doing. I was passing out
- 11:42Speaker 1: simples of my nuts, which was kind of weird because
- 11:47Speaker 1: I will go to these guys and say him, man,
- 11:50Speaker 1: would you like to try my nuts? And uh, it
- 11:53Speaker 1: kind of got. I got a lot of weird looks,
- 11:55Speaker 1: a lot of weird looks. But then they would take yeah, yeah.
- 11:58Speaker 1: But the whole thing time, they would come back later on.
- 12:02Speaker 1: They'd come back later on, Hey man, I really like
- 12:05Speaker 1: your nuts. And so that was a good feeling that, Jake,
- 12:10Speaker 1: your nuts are good. Ever, I'm not saying that's because
- 12:18Speaker 1: you haven't tried them. Ever. I'm not. I'm not. I'm
- 12:26Speaker 1: with Tommy. I'm not saying we have salted, unsalted, we
- 12:30Speaker 1: have lemon pepper. So I mean, without saying that if
- 12:36Speaker 1: you so give it, let me ask you this. So
- 12:38Speaker 1: you're saying if they're good, You're not gonna say anything.
- 12:41Speaker 1: I even say that to you, Jake, you know, you
- 12:43Speaker 1: know much success with them. But I'm I'm yeah, that's
- 12:46Speaker 1: all I much successful. I would prefer to say Tommy
- 12:50Speaker 1: Griggs to say that anybody who did anybody go to
- 12:58Speaker 1: Obama's birthday for already the sixtieth Bash, I thought you
- 13:02Speaker 1: was going happen. I didn't go. My wife has came
- 13:06Speaker 1: to BC and my mother. You know, I got until Barrock,
- 13:09Speaker 1: I could you know I couldn't make this. You know
- 13:10Speaker 1: that next time? Oh, Barrock, you're the first name by
- 13:16Speaker 1: when he called me a few few All right, Okay,
- 13:21Speaker 1: we're moving on after that. Coming up at thirty two
- 13:24Speaker 1: minutes after the hour, we're gonna talk to bitter Man
- 13:28Speaker 1: and h see if we can. I don't know. We'll
- 13:31Speaker 1: just listen to the to the concerns of the people.
- 13:35Speaker 1: I guess or not what shade I. We're not trying
- 13:39Speaker 1: to help. If you get help, it's on your own, okay,
- 13:42Speaker 1: bitter Man. Right after this, you're listening to Steve Harvey
- 13:46Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, it is time now, ladies and gentlemen,
- 13:50Speaker 1: for ask bitter Man your disclaimer. Please, sir, if you
- 13:54Speaker 1: get some help out of it is is on you,
- 13:56Speaker 1: because that's not what I'm trying to do at all.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Help you? Why anything? Why should be so nice to
- 14:03Speaker 1: just try to know someone. People need to know that
- 14:06Speaker 1: they're not going to get help, so they know in
- 14:07Speaker 1: the beginning, you're not sitting Look all right, well, let's
- 14:15Speaker 1: not help Jesse in Charlotte. Then, Jesse writes, I'm a
- 14:19Speaker 1: forty three year old single woman, and for the past
- 14:21Speaker 1: three years I've worked with a guy with a great
- 14:24Speaker 1: personality and a very nice baritone voice. We talk at
- 14:28Speaker 1: least twice a week while I'm at work, but we
- 14:32Speaker 1: have never met. He works in a different division two
- 14:35Speaker 1: hours away from my office, and he asked if we
- 14:38Speaker 1: could finally meet, and I said sure. Then I've found
- 14:42Speaker 1: him on Facebook and he is not my type at all.
- 14:47Speaker 1: He looks like Barry White. How can I cancel a
- 14:51Speaker 1: date with him without jeopardizing our professional relationship? To be
- 14:59Speaker 1: in you there, doom doom doom dooon, I can't go
- 15:03Speaker 1: with you. I just can't hang out with you, know
- 15:07Speaker 1: whay Doo doo doo doo doom doom doom doom doo doom.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I've tried everything I could try, but you just ain't
- 15:18Speaker 1: gonna cut it. Doo doo doo doo doom doom doom
- 15:22Speaker 1: doom doo doom. Love me I love you know. Franklin
- 15:30Speaker 1: the jail used to call Very White the warrest of love.
- 15:34Speaker 1: He hated that. Yeah, do miestro, I love the Mi Show.
- 15:43Speaker 1: Yet I can't do There's no way we can get
- 15:46Speaker 1: to do do do do don't. I ain't playing your game, babe,
- 15:50Speaker 1: and be playing your game, babe. Ain't doing all right.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Moving on to Ronda in Milwaukee, Ronda says, my daughter
- 16:00Speaker 1: is fifteen years old and has the worst attitude of
- 16:03Speaker 1: any teenager I've ever met. She looks at me like
- 16:07Speaker 1: I'm crazy when I talk to her, and it makes
- 16:09Speaker 1: me feel like I'm bothering her. All she does is
- 16:12Speaker 1: ignore me, look at her phone, and roll her eyes.
- 16:15Speaker 1: When I reprimand her, she shushes me. If she's tired
- 16:19Speaker 1: of talking to me, and I almost slapped her yesterday.
- 16:23Speaker 1: If I send her to her dad, it won't be
- 16:26Speaker 1: good because he's got a short fuse. What should I do? Well,
- 16:30Speaker 1: this is all on you. If you hadn't started whopping
- 16:33Speaker 1: behind around three, maybe, four, five, six, seventy eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen,
- 16:41Speaker 1: now you got this problem. Had you been you know,
- 16:44Speaker 1: deep into the behind whooping round two three, four, five, six,
- 16:49Speaker 1: seventy eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen. You wouldn't have
- 16:54Speaker 1: a backhand. Something about a backhand that you will remember
- 16:58Speaker 1: for your entire life. And I don't know where back
- 17:02Speaker 1: hand you know, when you think that you don't see
- 17:05Speaker 1: it coming just right across your lips, or if you're
- 17:08Speaker 1: too big to run after that child, make that child
- 17:11Speaker 1: come to you and then pop them in the mouth.
- 17:14Speaker 1: That goes a long way. It helped me. I've never
- 17:17Speaker 1: been in jail, never been in any trouble because I've
- 17:20Speaker 1: got the back hand. Come here, come here, come no,
- 17:23Speaker 1: come here, come over here, move your hand, move your
- 17:27Speaker 1: damn hands. Bop now, go outside and play like would
- 17:31Speaker 1: you really feel like playing after that? But that's what happened.
- 17:34Speaker 1: That's those are the things. So all this don't smacked
- 17:39Speaker 1: in the mouth. It's yeah, it is. It is. It's hard.
- 17:42Speaker 1: It's hard to go out and ever good time when
- 17:47Speaker 1: when your lips are stinging. It's just ain't no fun,
- 17:53Speaker 1: ain't don't green light when when you never have sping
- 18:00Speaker 1: to it is, you can't have fun. You just can't
- 18:03Speaker 1: go ahead? All right, what's the name? All right? Moving
- 18:05Speaker 1: on to Sherry in Houston. Sherry says, I'm fifty seven
- 18:08Speaker 1: years old and my boyfriend and I go to a
- 18:10Speaker 1: church that constantly preaches about living in sin. I told
- 18:14Speaker 1: my boyfriend that it doesn't apply to us because we're
- 18:17Speaker 1: older and we have been dating for almost twenty years
- 18:21Speaker 1: and moved in together twelve years ago. Pastor has tried
- 18:24Speaker 1: to coerce my boyfriend into marrying me, and that's not
- 18:27Speaker 1: what we want to do. We love our church, but
- 18:31Speaker 1: we are sick of being judged. How do we tell
- 18:34Speaker 1: pastor to leave us alone? Pastor, pastor, could you have
- 18:40Speaker 1: a conference with him? You want a private conference. Make
- 18:44Speaker 1: sure he brings his wife because you don't want nothing
- 18:46Speaker 1: out the way. So the pastor is in the room
- 18:48Speaker 1: with his wife. You there with your boyfriend, and you say, Pastor,
- 18:52Speaker 1: I have some things that are deep on my mind
- 18:55Speaker 1: that I bothered me and I want to share this
- 18:57Speaker 1: with you in a religious way. You need to mind
- 19:00Speaker 1: your own damn business and stay out of my damn business. Okay.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I've been at this church for quite some time. I
- 19:08Speaker 1: like tithing, I like the music, but I need you
- 19:10Speaker 1: to stay out my damn business. Okay. And nobody will
- 19:16Speaker 1: know you said it, but the past his wife, and
- 19:18Speaker 1: she ain't gonna tell nobody. He cuts his ass out.
- 19:21Speaker 1: But that's what you need to do. Tell your pastor Jay.
- 19:26Speaker 1: And then Brown said, you need to mind your own
- 19:30Speaker 1: damn business. But they living in seeing though they ain't
- 19:34Speaker 1: living in no seeing. The word word. Pick out the Bible.
- 19:46Speaker 1: What you want to make you live? That's right, Do
- 19:48Speaker 1: whatever you want. Pick out the Bible. Okay, we're moving on.
- 19:56Speaker 1: Everything that ain't for you, don't worr anybody, go ahead.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Curious in Atlanta says I went to Kanye. I went
- 20:04Speaker 1: to Kanye's listening party at his house last week. You
- 20:06Speaker 1: know his house, Mercedes Ben's Dome. Uh yeah, And I
- 20:14Speaker 1: was saying in a VIP area and a very popular
- 20:18Speaker 1: rapper was talking to me all night and giving me
- 20:20Speaker 1: all of his attentions. He was so mature and well
- 20:23Speaker 1: spoken that it intrigued me. And as we were leaving,
- 20:25Speaker 1: he said, hopefully our paths will cross again. Does that
- 20:28Speaker 1: mean he was intrigued by me? Or was he just
- 20:32Speaker 1: being polite? Should I reach out to him on Instagram? Yes?
- 20:35Speaker 1: You should really infest on if the rapper used the word.
- 20:39Speaker 1: If he used the word intrigue, he's a good guy.
- 20:44Speaker 1: Rapper Atlantic. I never heard of rapper use the word intrigue.
- 20:49Speaker 1: That's a good guy you got. You gotta catch that,
- 20:53Speaker 1: all right, bitter Man. Coming up next, we got church
- 20:58Speaker 1: complaints with Deacon Deaf Jam and Reverend ad Doy. Right
- 21:01Speaker 1: after this, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Miss Anne
- 21:08Speaker 1: is standing by with our national news and then the
- 21:11Speaker 1: entertainment news. President Obama's sixtieth birthday party was epic, yes
- 21:17Speaker 1: it was plus and other trending news. The Olympics are over. Now.
- 21:21Speaker 1: We'll talk about all of these stories at the top
- 21:23Speaker 1: of the hour, but right now it is Monday time
- 21:25Speaker 1: for church complaints with Dick and death Jam and Reverend
- 21:29Speaker 1: ad NOI yes, yes, a Welcome to the jp j

- 22:07Speaker 1: know how I'm gonna get this out but I'm trying
- 22:09Speaker 1: to make it good. Why do you blow your nose.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I'm trying that. It's just it's full. I'm just saying
- 22:15Speaker 1: that full already, head right, all right, well, let me
- 22:21Speaker 1: put this out there. I'm gonna be giving you the
- 22:23Speaker 1: church complaints and if he can get it out of
- 22:26Speaker 1: his nose, he's gonna be giving you school ready here,
- 22:33Speaker 1: all right, corn bread. Willie is asking for the COVID Madison.
- 22:38Speaker 1: He would like us to put it. I put the
- 22:40Speaker 1: medicine in his corn bread. As you know who, he
- 22:42Speaker 1: eats corn bread for breakfast lunch. And then do you
- 22:47Speaker 1: think we can get that approved and put it in
- 22:49Speaker 1: his corn bread? That is a great da He eats
- 22:52Speaker 1: corn bread all the time, and put it in there.
- 22:55Speaker 1: He'll never know. That way, he'll be fascinated and that
- 22:58Speaker 1: will be great for everybody. Get him fascinated that it
- 23:02Speaker 1: is perfect. I like that idea. Gets fascinated, fascinated. He
- 23:11Speaker 1: needs to be vascinated. Anyway, We have a lost and
- 23:14Speaker 1: found report from the janitor. Over the weekend. He found
- 23:19Speaker 1: one black sea through wayte slip, a half a can
- 23:23Speaker 1: of coat, an empty purple bottom, and a glass eye.
- 23:28Speaker 1: The eye was in the bag. So if these are
- 23:31Speaker 1: your items, we need you to wait. Wait wait wait.
- 23:37Speaker 1: It was a black sea through wayte slip, a half
- 23:40Speaker 1: a can of coat in an empty purple bag, and
- 23:44Speaker 1: a glass eye that I was in the bag. So
- 23:48Speaker 1: it was we know it was turned inside out, so
- 23:53Speaker 1: I don't know if it was ground royal or not,
- 23:56Speaker 1: but there was an eye in the bag. And if
- 23:58Speaker 1: these or your please report to lou Found to retrieve them.
- 24:04Speaker 1: I'm sure you need these items ready listening to us.
- 24:08Speaker 1: In other words, come on down and get it. We'll
- 24:10Speaker 1: keep an eye out for you. Why can't they just
- 24:19Speaker 1: port get it? We'll keep an eye out for you.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Go right ahead. I'm all right. Here's a situation, bo
- 24:29Speaker 1: Willie Bow Willie has just found out that Bow Willard
- 24:32Speaker 1: Junior and Flow Willy are not his set of twins.
- 24:37Speaker 1: As you know. They they are thirty five years old.
- 24:41Speaker 1: Now they have found out that their father is Joe
- 24:44Speaker 1: Willy Bows, which is Bow's younger brother. Yeah, therefore, Joe's
- 24:51Speaker 1: funeral is this coming Thursday. The family is not paying
- 24:56Speaker 1: for the funeral. We need to decide if we're gonna
- 24:58Speaker 1: pay for the funeral. As you know, they are members
- 25:02Speaker 1: of the j P J J. I understand it. In
- 25:06Speaker 1: other words, she had sex with the other Willie would
- 25:10Speaker 1: I did? She would? I did? Um okay a five
- 25:22Speaker 1: dollars bet? Are you all right? I'm feeling that was
- 25:26Speaker 1: the reasons the paramedics had to be called to Willhelm
- 25:29Speaker 1: and the Jeff Coachs house over the weekend. They had
- 25:32Speaker 1: to use the jaws of life to get her out
- 25:35Speaker 1: of a hula hoop. Now here's the thing. What happened
- 25:40Speaker 1: the jaws the bet. The bet wasn't that she could
- 25:48Speaker 1: hula hoop. The bet was could she get in it?
- 25:51Speaker 1: She did and she won. So that and they cut
- 25:55Speaker 1: out of that. They cut out of it. So they
- 25:57Speaker 1: had to call the paramedics. Fop, go right ahead, ready
- 26:01Speaker 1: A heare all right? The Wheelchair Track Team Ministry, I
- 26:06Speaker 1: won't stack challenge the Jamaican girls track team and the
- 26:09Speaker 1: foe by one hundred relay for they want to challenge
- 26:13Speaker 1: for their gold medal. As you know. The wheelchair track
- 26:15Speaker 1: team I consist of Rosa, the Loris Cellerstein and Frances
- 26:22Speaker 1: and they want to they want to challenge the Jamaicans
- 26:25Speaker 1: and a foe by one hundred relays. So it's all
- 26:29Speaker 1: about that. If we're gonna support them on getting miss
- 26:32Speaker 1: done add not, I would definitely lose. They gonna lose.
- 26:40Speaker 1: Put my money on the wheelchair. Wheelchair? We okay? They
- 26:48Speaker 1: like that show. Congratulations go out to miss loquif for Jenkins.
- 26:59Speaker 1: She is the winner of the small child that sounds
- 27:03Speaker 1: like the devil. I had an opportunity to interview this
- 27:06Speaker 1: little girl, the small child that sounds like the devil
- 27:10Speaker 1: when she talks. I was up there and I interviewed her.
- 27:15Speaker 1: How old are you? I'm seven? And it was most
- 27:18Speaker 1: scary to hold are you, little girl? I'm setting? Okay,
- 27:29Speaker 1: it was scary. I mean I was a little tannic girl.
- 27:32Speaker 1: I walked up to and holder you, little girl, I'm
- 27:35Speaker 1: setting seven years old. You hear what I'm saying. Okay,
- 27:43Speaker 1: let's see here. Sister Gretchen Latimer shouts every Sunday with
- 27:48Speaker 1: a triple hollya, Louisa flip and I praised the Lord,
- 27:52Speaker 1: Dismount says, tell simone buys that she is the real
- 27:57Speaker 1: goat at the end of the day, and she respect
- 28:00Speaker 1: I'm just that, Sister Gretchens. They put some speck on
- 28:03Speaker 1: her name, that's all she wanted put some respect on
- 28:09Speaker 1: her name. All right, over the weekend. Over the weekend,
- 28:14Speaker 1: the hen Peck Men's meeting had to be canceled. The
- 28:19Speaker 1: Henpeck Men's meeting had to be canceled when the president's
- 28:24Speaker 1: wife called him up and said, I need you to
- 28:27Speaker 1: bring your ass home now, right now, your journey meeting.
- 28:33Speaker 1: And nobody got to say anything. So that happened over
- 28:35Speaker 1: the weekend. She read, all right, we got unvaccinated members
- 28:42Speaker 1: would like to challenge the vaccinated members in a game
- 28:46Speaker 1: of touch football. I don't think this is gonna work
- 28:49Speaker 1: out that well, I really know, but somebody they want
- 28:54Speaker 1: to play them in touch football. I don't like that.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I really don't like that. Okay, on that note, thank you,
- 29:10Speaker 1: Revan Adoy and Dig and def Jam for those church complaints.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour. Entertainment and
- 29:15Speaker 1: national news right after this, you're listening to the Steve
- 29:19Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. All right, So President Obama had his party. Okay,
- 29:26Speaker 1: he turned sixty. He had his sixtieth birthday party. It
- 29:30Speaker 1: was at Martha's vineyard. It was epic. Okay, it was epic.
- 29:34Speaker 1: We all saw the video that Ericabadou posted of forty
- 29:38Speaker 1: four dancing at the party. Yeah, we heard special guests
- 29:46Speaker 1: beyond Jay Z, Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Jennifer Hudson,
- 29:51Speaker 1: Don Cheatle, Dwayne Wade, Alicia Keys, John Ludge, and all
- 29:56Speaker 1: of them saying happy birthday to our forever president. Also,
- 30:00Speaker 1: bathroom amenities included antiperspirant wipes and advil. Okay, wow, make
- 30:08Speaker 1: a note for the next party. Yeah, yep, yep, yep. Uh.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Rapper Trapp Beckham and his manager posted pictures of themselves
- 30:22Speaker 1: smoking cannabis, which is legal in Massachusetts, but they had
- 30:25Speaker 1: to take their pictures down the roots. Quest Love was
- 30:29Speaker 1: asked to help coordinate a meat free menu. However, we
- 30:32Speaker 1: saw picks of steak, chicken, and shrimp. Also, hey, he
- 30:38Speaker 1: turned sikay. Yeah. Also there was there was cigars, There
- 30:46Speaker 1: was s'mores, There was Mexican hot chocolate brownies and watermelon.
- 30:51Speaker 1: It was sounds like a good time had by all. Okay, all,
- 30:56Speaker 1: yeah that's what And of milion watermelonning. I bet I
- 31:03Speaker 1: bet nobody touched it. I bet it was just still
- 31:06Speaker 1: sitting there because you know, people don't want a bad
- 31:08Speaker 1: sea to meat and watermelon. Let's just diced up. You know,
- 31:11Speaker 1: if it's on the rhyne, it's still sitting there. It
- 31:14Speaker 1: needs it needs to be a bowl, right. Yeah. I
- 31:19Speaker 1: did see a couple of slices on the plate. I'm
- 31:25Speaker 1: not gonna lie. I did see that on the ground. Yeah.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Some black people who don't give a damn if it's watermelon,
- 31:32Speaker 1: it's watermelon. You know, some of us go in, but
- 31:37Speaker 1: I did. Happy birthday, Happy birthday. Yeathy. The police were
- 31:44Speaker 1: hating because afterwards it was just so much traffic, so
- 31:47Speaker 1: they were angry. I was like, y'all just hate shut up. Yeah, yeah,
- 31:56Speaker 1: that's it till me just straight. Yeah. Yeah. Speaking of
- 32:01Speaker 1: the party, uh, the party is over. Uh. There were
- 32:06Speaker 1: the most unusual games in history, and now the Summer
- 32:10Speaker 1: Olympics in Tokyo have come to a close. After being
- 32:14Speaker 1: postponed for a year due to COVID nineteen and ultimately
- 32:17Speaker 1: held without spectators for safety reasons, the Olympics delivered some
- 32:22Speaker 1: memorable moments. The United States came away with the most
- 32:26Speaker 1: goal thirty nine medals and the most medals overall one
- 32:30Speaker 1: hundred and thirteen. China was number two in both counts.
- 32:33Speaker 1: Where are you gonna say, nephew, I watched it. I
- 32:36Speaker 1: watched a lot of it. We Uh, I watched a
- 32:38Speaker 1: lot of it. Was great. I was really glad that
- 32:42Speaker 1: the basketball team took the goal. I was that women. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:49Speaker 1: men and women. You're right, carl it. Men and women,
- 32:51Speaker 1: we took the goal. Event at the Olympics was racewalking.
- 32:58Speaker 1: I don't need why something I'd already do. Racewalking got
- 33:06Speaker 1: on my nerves. Oh I look at you staying there
- 33:13Speaker 1: and just watching it. Huh, all right, I can do this.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Come on, Jay in time for today's headlines. Art everybody,
- 33:21Speaker 1: it's time from his and trip. Thank you very much,
- 33:24Speaker 1: and good morning. In Chicago, one police officer is dead.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Another is hospitalized and fighting for his life as a
- 33:31Speaker 1: result of the apparent gun ballot ensued during a traffic stop.
- 33:34Speaker 1: In total, sixty three people were shot in Shytown over
- 33:38Speaker 1: the weekend. All over that town, Mayor Laurie Lightfoot told
- 33:42Speaker 1: reporters that police are not the enemy, that guns and
- 33:44Speaker 1: gangs are. Authorlready say that officers stopped a car with
- 33:48Speaker 1: two men and a woman inside, that one of the
- 33:50Speaker 1: men opened fire. All three of those people, by the way,
- 33:52Speaker 1: are under arrest. US centers met all the weekend again
- 33:55Speaker 1: with the aim of working out a deal on the
- 33:57Speaker 1: infrastructure bill worth a little over one trillion dollars. Senate
- 34:01Speaker 1: was said to begin at summer recess. However, a majority leader,
- 34:04Speaker 1: Charles Schumer says, ah, you're going to remain in session
- 34:06Speaker 1: until a package is passed, and that's it. Senators vote
- 34:09Speaker 1: is sixty seven to twenty seven to end debate on
- 34:12Speaker 1: the measure, but some Republicans are trying to put off
- 34:14Speaker 1: a final vote and system that it all costs too much.
- 34:17Speaker 1: The nation's top infectious disease expert, doctor Anthony Fauci, tells
- 34:21Speaker 1: NBC's Meet the Press he thinks that once the Food
- 34:23Speaker 1: and Drug Administration gives its final and full approval to
- 34:27Speaker 1: the five Zoomderna Johnson Johnson vaccines, that those people holding
- 34:31Speaker 1: out will probably change their minds about the safetiness of
- 34:33Speaker 1: the serum. The time has come. We've got to go
- 34:37Speaker 1: the extra step to get people vaccinated. You want to
- 34:40Speaker 1: persuade them, that's good, and I believe that some people
- 34:43Speaker 1: on their own, once it gets approved as a full approval,
- 34:47Speaker 1: will go ahead and get vaccinated. You may remember that
- 34:50Speaker 1: the COVID vaccines were initially only okayed for emergency use.
- 34:53Speaker 1: So that's what we're talking about right now. The Biden
- 34:55Speaker 1: administrations requiring all federal workers to be either vaccinated or
- 34:58Speaker 1: subjected to regular the coronavirus testing. There are calls in
- 35:03Speaker 1: Cleveland for a review of how judges rule and the
- 35:06Speaker 1: establishment of a database in the wake of two vastly
- 35:09Speaker 1: and many say unfair judicial decisions. A white woman who
- 35:12Speaker 1: stole two and fifty thousand dollars in public funds was
- 35:15Speaker 1: given probation by a white female judge, while a black
- 35:18Speaker 1: woman who pilfered forty thousand was sent to jail for
- 35:22Speaker 1: eighteen months by a white male judge. The WAACP faith
- 35:26Speaker 1: organizations of social activists, both current and former judges, they're
- 35:30Speaker 1: all very, very upset by the two rulings, which they
- 35:32Speaker 1: say reinforced the feeling the judges in this country disproportionately
- 35:35Speaker 1: saved their harshest penalties for people of color. Finally, the
- 35:39Speaker 1: Tokyo Olympics, yes as you heard close yesterday, a ceremony
- 35:42Speaker 1: that marked the end of over two weeks of sports
- 35:44Speaker 1: competitions without the stands filled with fans thanks to COVID,
- 35:47Speaker 1: the songs of cheers was piped in, were piped in
- 35:50Speaker 1: athletes marched by country wearing masks or the US one
- 35:53Speaker 1: gold medals as you heard Shirley talk about, but perhaps
- 35:56Speaker 1: the bronze medal won by Simone Bobs got the greatest
- 35:58Speaker 1: attention along Jernie. The Olympics was not how I expected
- 36:03Speaker 1: it to go, but putting my mentor and my physical
- 36:05Speaker 1: health first, and she was very, very proud, and we
- 36:08Speaker 1: were proud of her. Now back to the Steve Harvey
- 36:10Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening show, all right, come on, Tommy.
- 36:16Speaker 1: He's a president CEO of Team Tommy, So why don't
- 36:19Speaker 1: you do the honors by introducing him? Please? Y'all show,
- 36:23Speaker 1: y'all want to go in there today? I take in
- 36:25Speaker 1: then I'll tell your ticket and take your owning. And
- 36:29Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, get ready, buckle up and hold on.
- 36:31Speaker 1: Type were on our way, deep deep into the mind,
- 36:33Speaker 1: the mind that you've never even had an idea that
- 36:36Speaker 1: it existed. We're going deep into the mind of Jay
- 36:39Speaker 1: Anthony Brown. There are no refunds, there is no turning
- 36:43Speaker 1: back to Brown take it away. Once you come in here,
- 36:46Speaker 1: you're on your own. Get ready to Sharlotte's August the twenty. First,
- 36:50Speaker 1: I'm coming to town, Charlotte. Get ready, Get ready? Okay. Now,
- 36:55Speaker 1: last week I kind of, you know, talked about ladies
- 36:57Speaker 1: and did stuff and advice. We talked about baby head YadA, YadA, YadA.
- 37:01Speaker 1: This week, I want to talk to the men. I
- 37:03Speaker 1: want to be serious with the men, especially if you're
- 37:06Speaker 1: a man. Say in the age of twenty five twenty six,
- 37:08Speaker 1: you just reach manhood. You're stepping out on your own. Okay,
- 37:12Speaker 1: that's great. There's some things that you need. I mean
- 37:15Speaker 1: I don't have all of them. It's not alone because
- 37:17Speaker 1: he is. A few things you need. Number one, you
- 37:19Speaker 1: need your own damn place. You don't need to be
- 37:22Speaker 1: standing with your mama. You don't need to be. And
- 37:27Speaker 1: if you stand with the girl, that's okay. I'm manu
- 37:30Speaker 1: shacking up. I'm not that religious view. I want to
- 37:32Speaker 1: shack up. You need to be paying for every damn thing.
- 37:36Speaker 1: We ain't splitting nothing. Don't split nothing, ladies. If if
- 37:41Speaker 1: he if he not paying for every damn thing, he
- 37:46Speaker 1: needs to be on his own. Number two, you need
- 37:48Speaker 1: any j own car. You gotta have a car. Look,
- 37:53Speaker 1: if you're that good in the bedroom, she only gonna
- 37:55Speaker 1: pick you up two or three times after that, After that,
- 37:58Speaker 1: fin max, After that, you got to get your own
- 38:03Speaker 1: damn transfer that chigo is good and he good in
- 38:10Speaker 1: the bedroom. Let me go get this neat row and
- 38:12Speaker 1: then this ain't gonna happen every time. Get you a
- 38:16Speaker 1: car now, the last one. In order to be a
- 38:19Speaker 1: real player, to be gangster, to be out there in
- 38:23Speaker 1: the streets where you got your stuff together and nobody
- 38:26Speaker 1: looking at you sideways, you need a washer and a dryer.
- 38:30Speaker 1: I mean you might laugh, don't laugh, but you can knock.
- 38:35Speaker 1: You cannot be hard with two hundred dollars shoes, two
- 38:40Speaker 1: hundred dollars pairs of pants, eight hundred dollars t shirt,
- 38:44Speaker 1: a four hundred dollars belt. You got gold around your neck.
- 38:47Speaker 1: With your ass sitting sitting in the laundrymat, waiting waiting
- 38:53Speaker 1: for something to dry. This is not a hard move.
- 38:57Speaker 1: You don't know. Hush, stupid you and you pulled up
- 39:00Speaker 1: in a beans and you're sitting in the line you
- 39:02Speaker 1: mat folding drawls. Dude, this is not a good look.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Don't do this to yourself. Get you watched and a
- 39:13Speaker 1: dry up top load or side by side. That's all
- 39:17Speaker 1: I got to say, I'm loving day. I'm done. Great advice. Jay,
- 39:22Speaker 1: All right, thank you. Coming up at thirty four minutes
- 39:24Speaker 1: after the hour, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey
- 39:26Speaker 1: Morning Show right after this. You're listening to the Steve
- 39:30Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show and trending viral news. The police department
- 39:35Speaker 1: in Wyoming, Michigan is receiving a lot of backlash after
- 39:40Speaker 1: racially profiling and arresting at gunpoint to African American men
- 39:46Speaker 1: and a fifteen year old African American teen. All they
- 39:50Speaker 1: were doing was simply touring a house for sale, Okay, now.
- 39:54Speaker 1: This is according to the New York Post. Army veteran
- 39:57Speaker 1: Roy Thorne and his fifteen year old son Samuel, were
- 40:01Speaker 1: with their real estate agent, Roy Brown, to tour a
- 40:04Speaker 1: home in the Grand Rapids area and soon found themselves
- 40:07Speaker 1: handcuffs with guns drawn by half a dozen cops. This
- 40:12Speaker 1: is after a neighbor saw the men entering the home
- 40:14Speaker 1: and reported a break in. Roy Thorne, the realtor, then
- 40:19Speaker 1: told his son and Brown to get down and stay
- 40:22Speaker 1: away from the windows. Thorne spotted an officer in the
- 40:26Speaker 1: backyard and yelled at him several times through an open window.
- 40:29Speaker 1: The officer pointed his gone at Thorne, and he said,
- 40:33Speaker 1: leading him to duck. He told the officer there were
- 40:37Speaker 1: three of them in the house and they were coming
- 40:39Speaker 1: out with their hands up. He made sure his son
- 40:41Speaker 1: was behind him. I was scared, Thorne said, I was
- 40:45Speaker 1: scared for my son. Brown said he thought we are
- 40:49Speaker 1: going to die today. All three were cuffed and put
- 40:52Speaker 1: into police vehicles and were only released after Brown showed
- 40:56Speaker 1: his real estate credentials and allowed and was allowed to
- 41:00Speaker 1: explain the situation. Officers then talk to the white couple
- 41:03Speaker 1: who had called nine one one, but the damage was
- 41:06Speaker 1: already done. Thorne says, fifteen year old Samuel is now paranoid.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Who wouldn't be I asked, here we go again, Here
- 41:18Speaker 1: we go again. I can't even know. What I don't
- 41:20Speaker 1: get is, Yeah, what I don't get is you can't
- 41:24Speaker 1: walk in this house and see what's going on in
- 41:26Speaker 1: a You gotta come in there with guns drawn. I
- 41:29Speaker 1: off to jump. There's no conversation, there's no talking. Let's
- 41:32Speaker 1: try to figure out what's going on. That to me,
- 41:34Speaker 1: it would seem to be what if I was an officer?
- 41:37Speaker 1: Or what I want to do is I want to
- 41:38Speaker 1: walk on and see what's going on. Let me make
- 41:39Speaker 1: sure the call is legitimate. But you gotta go in
- 41:43Speaker 1: already with guns cocking, ready loaded, and there's gonna tell
- 41:47Speaker 1: them what could have happened. Fortunately it didn't go far left. Yeah,
- 41:53Speaker 1: I've seen they went inside. It doesn't even seem that way.
- 41:57Speaker 1: It seemed like they were outside and they happened to
- 42:00Speaker 1: see that. So if they had done the wrong thing,
- 42:02Speaker 1: this could have been tragic. Like you said, there's just
- 42:05Speaker 1: no arte. They just ready they just two black child
- 42:10Speaker 1: and an empty house and a child. That's all they
- 42:13Speaker 1: needed to hear, and they ready said go. That's all
- 42:16Speaker 1: they needed to hear. So so for me, I get
- 42:19Speaker 1: at these soldiers that we can't even buy a house
- 42:21Speaker 1: in No mo. We can't look no, let me what what?
- 42:26Speaker 1: What can you steal out of an empty house? What
- 42:33Speaker 1: do we take it? I mean, you know some of
- 42:35Speaker 1: those houses are staged, Yeah, some of them are staged.
- 42:39Speaker 1: Some of them. Yeah, But I don't know if that
- 42:42Speaker 1: was the case. That's not even the issue. The issue
- 42:45Speaker 1: is three black men, two black men and a team
- 42:48Speaker 1: in a in a house, and so I'm calling the cops,
- 42:51Speaker 1: and the cops come, you know, and they put them
- 42:54Speaker 1: in the car. You know, I'm with the man who
- 42:57Speaker 1: said he thought they were gonna die today, because that
- 43:00Speaker 1: that could have easily happened easily. It happens far too often.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Any apology from the people that made the call, any
- 43:09Speaker 1: apology from them, because before there were break ins in
- 43:15Speaker 1: that area, they assumed that the potential suspects came back.
- 43:20Speaker 1: How do you know how you know it was just
- 43:26Speaker 1: because they were black. You racial profile them, and so
- 43:29Speaker 1: did the police. That's all they were that. They'll take
- 43:33Speaker 1: your word. Yeah, they'll take your word over it because
- 43:37Speaker 1: you know, because they're black. M H. Upsetting. It's just upsetting.
- 43:44Speaker 1: You can't even look far home, and the real estate
- 43:47Speaker 1: agent can't even do his job. He was doing his job,
- 43:50Speaker 1: showing the property, showing the house. They were cuffed and
- 43:54Speaker 1: in the police car. Yeah, I saw the video. It's upset,
- 44:00Speaker 1: very upset, it very much so. And can you file
- 44:04Speaker 1: a lawsuit of stuff like that? I wonder, I wonder
- 44:09Speaker 1: if you can. Yeah, Oh well, um, well, we'll keep

- 45:38Speaker 1: my store. Did you have an accident in my store
- 45:40Speaker 1: or something? I just have to show what you're calling about.
- 45:43Speaker 1: I ain't had no accident. What appum was? I came
- 45:46Speaker 1: in there yesterday and I bought a bunch of grocers
- 45:49Speaker 1: and I bought a card in the eggs right now.
- 45:51Speaker 1: When I got home, I was checking to make sure
- 45:54Speaker 1: the eggs didn't didn't break on the way home. When
- 45:57Speaker 1: I got home, it was a baby chick inside the
- 46:00Speaker 1: egg carding man. One of the eggs had it had hatched.
- 46:04Speaker 1: And got my kids traumatized. And they don't even want
- 46:06Speaker 1: to eat breakfast or nothing around here because there's a
- 46:09Speaker 1: baby chick inside called the eggs. That don't make no
- 46:13Speaker 1: man um. I don't mean to uh let me so
- 46:17Speaker 1: you tell me it was a chicken, a baby chicken,
- 46:20Speaker 1: actual chicken, and a baby chick inside the cart and
- 46:24Speaker 1: the eggs man, and you got my kids traumatized. Man,
- 46:27Speaker 1: don't nobody want got eggs? If you're just here the curse.
- 46:31Speaker 1: If you're just calmed down for one second, listen what
- 46:35Speaker 1: I told y'all put that chicken down and then put
- 46:38Speaker 1: it down. It might have ray bat say what I
- 46:41Speaker 1: don't even think that that's possible. First of all, if
- 46:44Speaker 1: you had any idea how this thing comes from the
- 46:47Speaker 1: farm to the store, it is they go over these
- 46:51Speaker 1: eggs a countless summer times, and the temperature and the freezer.
- 46:55Speaker 1: First of all, wasn't even allow for a chicken to
- 46:57Speaker 1: be alive if you had a baby. Well, I did
- 47:00Speaker 1: this one, this one. I don't know how this one
- 47:04Speaker 1: got tasked the system, okay, But what I do know
- 47:07Speaker 1: is we got a baby chick over here running around
- 47:11Speaker 1: because y'all soo ain't doing what y'all's supposed to do. Man,
- 47:14Speaker 1: and I got it, And now my kids are traumatized
- 47:17Speaker 1: behind this. When did you say you were in here?
- 47:19Speaker 1: So I was in there yesterday. I bought the eggs
- 47:21Speaker 1: just today. Man, down here, and I'm free. Yes, I
- 47:26Speaker 1: bought him except the grocery stove. I sure did. Okay,
- 47:30Speaker 1: let's say this, Why don't you bring the eggs into
- 47:32Speaker 1: me and the chick. Now you'll want me to transport
- 47:36Speaker 1: a baby chick back to the grocery store. I aught
- 47:39Speaker 1: my Look, we already traumatized over here, already behind this
- 47:43Speaker 1: dog bone baby chick. Man, I'm not I'm not exactly
- 47:46Speaker 1: sure what you were trying to pull here, But I
- 47:49Speaker 1: just don't I don't think that. First of all, anyone
- 47:53Speaker 1: with common sense well tell you that that's not possible.
- 47:55Speaker 1: First of all, you can't have a baby chick living
- 47:59Speaker 1: in a dozen eggs. There is no possible way that this.
- 48:03Speaker 1: The temperature and my freezers are a ripe above freezing.
- 48:06Speaker 1: There's no chickens or fragile creature in the first place.
- 48:10Speaker 1: You can't have a little bird is not gonna survive
- 48:13Speaker 1: the transport from the farm to the factory to my store.
- 48:18Speaker 1: I'm not wed. Hey, hey, hey, I'm not gonna go
- 48:22Speaker 1: back and forth. But you remember, man, that baby bullshit
- 48:24Speaker 1: you by. If you want to bring me a dozen eggs,
- 48:27Speaker 1: bring the dozen eggs in. If you can catch the chick,
- 48:30Speaker 1: catch the chick. Hey, man, you came you. You're supposed
- 48:32Speaker 1: to be the manager. You're not supposed to talk to
- 48:34Speaker 1: me like this, so I meant to. I'll tell you
- 48:36Speaker 1: as politely as possible if you want to bring in
- 48:39Speaker 1: the lemon eggs and a chick, I will gladly refurge
- 48:43Speaker 1: your money, give you another car, and ask whatever you
- 48:45Speaker 1: want to do. But I'm not I don't even tell
- 48:46Speaker 1: you what's gonna happen. But I'm not a lawsuit because
- 48:49Speaker 1: y'all to traumatized me. And I'm like, she s listen right,
- 48:53Speaker 1: let's just bring this time a lawsuit, sir. It over
- 48:58Speaker 1: a dozen eggs. It doesn't eggs that got a baby
- 49:02Speaker 1: chick in it. Man, But let me get your phone
- 49:05Speaker 1: number as some information, and I will talk to my
- 49:08Speaker 1: manager and we will figure this thing out for you,
- 49:11Speaker 1: because I just I just don't believe that this would
- 49:14Speaker 1: be possible. I just I don't understand how you would
- 49:17Speaker 1: have a chick let him, let just leave him over that,
- 49:21Speaker 1: don't touch the chicken. I just don't believe that this
- 49:24Speaker 1: could possibly be happy to so this is it's unbelievable
- 49:27Speaker 1: to me that even get this fun. I don't have
- 49:30Speaker 1: time to go back and forth with you about how
- 49:33Speaker 1: something happened. All I know is it. Maybe it's some
- 49:36Speaker 1: fluke accident, okay, but it happened. My kids are old
- 49:39Speaker 1: here put in with a baby chick, and I'm trauma cod.
- 49:44Speaker 1: I don't even want to ever have breckman up again.
- 49:46Speaker 1: And I'm gonna to make shoke. I file a lawsuit
- 49:49Speaker 1: on your shoe and your show me, I don't sucise
- 49:53Speaker 1: anything to do with me. I didn't do anything U
- 49:56Speaker 1: except coming to Ruth today. You understand what I'm saying.
- 50:00Speaker 1: You want to fall lass. I'm found a lawsuit. I'm
- 50:03Speaker 1: throwing those on the grocery store, and I'm founding a
- 50:05Speaker 1: lawsuit on the manager Warren, which is your for giving
- 50:09Speaker 1: me a hard time about what I'm telling you don't happening.
- 50:12Speaker 1: I't even got a hard time on the meal as
- 50:14Speaker 1: you'm stay. I'm saying you are a hard time comes
- 50:17Speaker 1: down here day. I'm bringing the bags down here, and
- 50:20Speaker 1: I'm bringing that baby chick that back up down there too.
- 50:24Speaker 1: I'm bringing out all of it. Well proofs is I'm
- 50:26Speaker 1: like to see it. How much did you pay for
- 50:28Speaker 1: those days? I'm paid my two down and it ain't
- 50:30Speaker 1: blood how much I'm paid for the end. That's what
- 50:32Speaker 1: you have trauma time, Yeah, because I'm gonna give you
- 50:34Speaker 1: just got much back and out when you do much,
- 50:37Speaker 1: you I'm a saying I I don't give it Toms
- 50:39Speaker 1: and I my counts out here and hind legitimate people

- 54:07Speaker 1: It is a strawberry letter. It's one all right. Subject
- 54:11Speaker 1: my girl is Wild and Free. I knew the guys
- 54:14Speaker 1: would like the title of that letter. Yes, Dear Stephen Shirley, Huh.
- 54:18Speaker 1: I'm a thirty one year old man and I met
- 54:21Speaker 1: a really dope woman at a house party. She's thirty
- 54:25Speaker 1: years old, no kids, with a good job and her
- 54:28Speaker 1: own house. I started vibing with her at the party,
- 54:32Speaker 1: so I asked her out. Two days later, she picked
- 54:35Speaker 1: me up for our date and she asked to use
- 54:38Speaker 1: my bathroom. She left the bathroom door open and told
- 54:41Speaker 1: me to come in. She sat on the counter whispered
- 54:45Speaker 1: a few words in my ear, and I almost lost
- 54:48Speaker 1: my mind. After a few rounds of amazing sex. After
- 54:54Speaker 1: a few rounds of amazing sex, we set up talking
- 54:57Speaker 1: until five am. She told me she was in a
- 55:00Speaker 1: long term relationship and her ex broke her heart by
- 55:03Speaker 1: cheating on her, so she wasn't ready for a serious
- 55:06Speaker 1: relationship yet. She told me as soon as she saw
- 55:10Speaker 1: me at the party, she knew she wanted to do me.
- 55:13Speaker 1: I love her honesty and free spirit. We've been hanging
- 55:17Speaker 1: out and having sex all summer, and I'm falling for her.
- 55:21Speaker 1: We decided to drive her to the beach last weekend
- 55:24Speaker 1: and I got an airbnbat. I invited three of my
- 55:27Speaker 1: college friends that live in the city to come by
- 55:29Speaker 1: our airbnb so we could catch up and have a
- 55:31Speaker 1: few drinks. My girl got along with everyone and the
- 55:35Speaker 1: conversation was flowing and the music was pumping. My girl
- 55:39Speaker 1: got tipsy and started working, then did a little lap
- 55:44Speaker 1: dance on one of my boys. I was so embarrassed
- 55:48Speaker 1: because I didn't explain what kind of relationship I had
- 55:50Speaker 1: with this girl. She gave my friend her IG handle
- 55:53Speaker 1: and told them to follow her on IG. I felt
- 55:58Speaker 1: like a fool as she did this in my face.
- 56:01Speaker 1: I was quiet the rest of the weekend, but we
- 56:03Speaker 1: still managed to have a lot of great sex. As
- 56:07Speaker 1: we drove home Sunday, she brought up the incident and
- 56:10Speaker 1: told me to stop pouting because she's developing feelings for me.
- 56:14Speaker 1: I feel like it's all a game to her. Is
- 56:18Speaker 1: it possible to keep having sex without catching feelings? Well,
- 56:23Speaker 1: yes it is. I mean, everything's possible. But usually this
- 56:26Speaker 1: scenario right here that you just described, it's usually the
- 56:30Speaker 1: women who you know, who think that they can do
- 56:35Speaker 1: this and get away with it. But the women oftentimes
- 56:37Speaker 1: end up wanting more. They're the ones that fall in
- 56:40Speaker 1: love with the guys. That's usually how this turns out,
- 56:43Speaker 1: not the other way around, not the man. Of course,
- 56:46Speaker 1: there's an exception to every rule, though, right and you, sir,
- 56:50Speaker 1: are what we call sprung right now, Okay, you can't
- 56:55Speaker 1: possibly be falling for this woman though, I mean, she
- 56:58Speaker 1: told you up front that she wasn't ready for a
- 57:01Speaker 1: serious relationship. She also told you that she wanted to
- 57:05Speaker 1: do you as soon as she saw you at the party.
- 57:07Speaker 1: She gave one of your boys a lap dance right
- 57:10Speaker 1: in front of you. Okay, you said you felt like
- 57:13Speaker 1: a fool. This made you feel like a fool. What
- 57:14Speaker 1: part of not ready for a serious relationship. Don't you
- 57:17Speaker 1: understand you can't fall for her right now? Okay, she
- 57:22Speaker 1: doesn't want that. She's all over the place. I mean,
- 57:25Speaker 1: will you be comfortable with her? Are you gonna be
- 57:28Speaker 1: able to trust her with your boys? All that? This
- 57:30Speaker 1: is what's gonna be on your mind. This woman is doing,
- 57:33Speaker 1: like I said, what a man normally does, and she's
- 57:36Speaker 1: not ready. You're gonna get hurt, and her badly. She
- 57:40Speaker 1: was hurt and she's trying in her own way to
- 57:42Speaker 1: heal and to forget about her ex who broke her heart.
- 57:46Speaker 1: She just wants to do you, okay. Usually guys would
- 57:50Speaker 1: be like, yes, this is what I want. Yes, no commitment.
- 57:54Speaker 1: So you need to slow down if you can and
- 57:56Speaker 1: realize that if you want her, you gotta, you know,
- 57:59Speaker 1: get with her in her time? Are you gonna get
- 58:01Speaker 1: your heartbroken? But you gotta ask yourself, is this really
- 58:05Speaker 1: what you want? Because she's showing you who she is.
- 58:08Speaker 1: Now listen to what she's saying and watch what she's doing.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Sir Jay, why this is a crazy, crazy letter man?
- 58:18Speaker 1: He met this girl at a party. They was eyeing
- 58:21Speaker 1: each other. She invited He invites her over to the house.
- 58:25Speaker 1: She goes to the bathroom. She says, come in here.
- 58:29Speaker 1: She's probably bud a naked. They do it in the bathroom.
- 58:32Speaker 1: She says, I'm a freak. What you have met, sir,
- 58:36Speaker 1: what you have met is an honest freak. You met
- 58:40Speaker 1: an honest freak who's freaking you and telling you everything
- 58:44Speaker 1: up front, what she likes to do. Why are you
- 58:47Speaker 1: writing us? I mean, why? Well, you know this thing,
- 58:51Speaker 1: these these strawberry letters are for people who have problems.
- 58:56Speaker 1: I'm listening to this letter, and where's your problem? She's
- 59:01Speaker 1: a freak, honest freak. She told you she likes to freak.
- 59:09Speaker 1: She told you to get about your feelings. Why are
- 59:12Speaker 1: you acting like that? I'm half way lacking you. Where's
- 59:16Speaker 1: a Where's a problem? Helped me with the problem? If
- 59:20Speaker 1: I saw a problem, I can help you if I
- 59:24Speaker 1: considered this letter. I went over this. I've listened to Shirley.
- 59:27Speaker 1: I've read the letter over and over, and in this letter,
- 59:30Speaker 1: there are no damn problems. Why are you writing us
- 59:34Speaker 1: with this? Don't waste our time. If you don't have
- 59:38Speaker 1: a problem, go ahead you, I mean, this is stupid. Really,
- 59:42Speaker 1: won't that's what do you want? Come? Through. I got
- 59:47Speaker 1: nothing else to say to this. I'm done. I'm just
- 59:52Speaker 1: so what you think I'm gonna say? Jay? Yeah, what
- 59:57Speaker 1: I'm gonna think I'm gonna say? I don't see, I
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: don't know. I knew you guys are gonna be with me.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you one most thing. We'll come back,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: but I don't know. All right, hang on, ladies and gentlemen,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: we'll have part two of the Strawberry Letter coming up
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: at twenty three minutes after the hour. The subject my
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: girl is wild and free, and the guys seem to
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: love it. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: You're listening to the Stave Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: we're gonna recap today's Strawberry Letter. The subject my girl
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: is whild and Free. A thirty one year old man
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: wrote this letter. He met what he calls a really
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: dope woman at a house party. Two days after he
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: met her, she picked him up for the date. She
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: was in the bathroom, left the door open, came in there,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: whispered something in his ear, and they had the most
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: amazing sex imaginable. Two days later first date, she said
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: she wasn't ready for a serious relationship, but he's falling.
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: He's falling. He says he loves her honesty in free spirit,
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: but he's falling for her. She's not ready for a
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: serious relationship. She already told him that her ex broke
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: her heart by cheating on her, So she's just wilding
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: right now and free. She got tipsy the other weekend,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: started twerking in this airbnb he got for them on
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: the beach. She did a little lap dance for one
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: of his boys. He felt like a fool, he said.
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: She did this in his face. You know. She brought
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: up the incident and told him to stop pouting because
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: she's starting to develop feelings for him. But he says
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: he feels like it's all a game to her, and
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: is it possible He wants to know to keep having
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: sex without catching feelings. I said, normally that's what men do,

- 1:07:51Speaker 1: saying this. Some of these events we don't need, Like
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: we don't need racewalking at the Olympics. Yeah, I know
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: it's over now. Called so many of the means I
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: don't need to see next year because they wasting my time.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: I watched four hours of people walking fast. I can
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: already do that I can't believe it's a four hour race,
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: race walking. So this poem I wrote today is talking
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: to United States men's basketball team. We barely beat France.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: We're supposed to be the greatest basketball players in the world.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Guess we ain't because we just barely beat France. We
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: lost twice. Who deployment for the United States men basketball team?
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: Head go and it's called United States Men's basketball team.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: That's just the name of it. I didn't have time.
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: I was mad. We won eighty seven to eighty two,
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: so I said, we're glad y'all won. What took so long?
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: We're glad y'all won, But look took so long when
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: you lost them two games, we thought y'all was gone.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: We glad y'all want to time to celebrate. I almost
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: missed the game because he came on too late. What
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: time did y'all play about? We glad y'all won. We
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: saw you do your dance, but we had a real
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: tough time because you barely beat Franks. So we glad
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: y'all won. Y'all got to go. But Milwaukee has the
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: dream team. Just let the truth be told, because they
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: won the championship. The end I'm I don't care what wow,

- 1:10:10Speaker 1: The comedians are in the building. Jay, please explain. It's

- 1:17:38Speaker 1: smoking cannabis, which is legal in Massachusetts, but they had
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: to take their pictures down the roots. Quest Love was
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: asked to help coordinate a meat free menu. However, we
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: saw picks of steak, chicken, and shrimp. Also, hey, he
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: turned singing to be Okay, Yeah, also there there was cigars,
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: there was s'mores, there was Mexican hot chocolate brownies and watermelon.

- 1:18:12Speaker 1: all yeah, and watermelon watermelon brown I bet I bet
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: nobody touched it. I bet it was just still sitting
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: there because you know, people don't want a bad seat
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: to meat watermelon. Let's it's diced up, you know, if
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: it's on the rhine, it's still sitting there. It needs
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: to been a bowl, right. I did see a couple
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: of slices on the plate on the rhine. I'm not
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: gonna lie. I did see that on the ground. Yeah.
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: Some black people who don't give a damn if it's watermelon.
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: It's watermelon. You know, some of us go in. But
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: it did. Birthday, Happy Birthday. The police were hating because
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: afterwards it was just so much traffic that they were angry.
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: I just hate shut up. Yeah, yeah, that's it. Time
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: it just straight. Yeah. Speaking of the party, Uh, the
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: party is over. Uh. There were the most unusual games
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: in history, and now the Summer Olympics in Tokyo have
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: come to a close. After being postponed for a year
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: due to COVID nineteen and ultimately held without spectators for
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: safety reasons. The Olympics delivered some memorable moments. The United
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: States came away with the most goal thirty nine medals
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: and the most medals overall one hundred and thirteen. China
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: was number two in both counts. Coming up, it is
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: our last break of the day. We animal breaks were
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: done and well and at forty nine minutes after the hour,
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: we'll tell you what OJ did, what he's afraid of.
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to show. All right, guys,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: here we are last break of the day on this Monday.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: It's been a good day, good Monday. Um. I gotta
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: tell you when when I saw this, I said these
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: exact words, crazy AF and uh today's crazy AF news O.
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: Jon Kristison, who who will you not get somewharenes sit down? Well?
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: OJ is refusing to go to LA. Now, please somebody
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: ask me why why? Because he's scared. He's scared to
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: go to LA. He's scared that he might run into
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: the real killer. What what OJ? Okay, if you want
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: to if you want to see the real killer, fine,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: any room that has a mirror in your house, mirrors
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: He walking mirrors, walking by mirrors if you want to
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: see the right. Yeah. OJ says he will not visit
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: LA due to a fear of running into the real
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: killer of his ex wife and of course, her friend,
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: Ron Goleman, his ex wife, Nicole Brown, OJ told the Athletic,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: I have trouble with LA. People may think this is
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: self serving, but I might be sitting next to whoever
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: did it. I really don't know who did this. As
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: you know. OJ was referring to the murder of his
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: former wife and her friend after the pair were killed
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: back in nineteen ninety four. They were both found dead
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: at Nicole's home in Los Angeles, and OJ was arrested
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: and charged with their murders. However, he was eventually acquitted
- 1:21:51Speaker 1: by a jury, following the most viewed judicial proceeding in
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: American TV history. Okay, come on, OJ, this really really
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: absurds right here. This takes the cake. This really takes
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: the cake. Yeah, So what are he gonna do? Like,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: I mean, maybe you do better round and around in
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: a white bronco looking for the how about need to
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: do that? Maybe that help? Yeah? I mean. Despite being
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: found not guilty in a civil lawsuit in nineteen ninety seven,
