- 0:02Speaker 1: Y'all know what time to y'all don't know y'all have
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit looking back to back down, giving them more
- 0:15Speaker 1: like the million buck things in the cubbing me through
- 0:20Speaker 1: good it. Steve Hart listening to the movie to other star,
- 0:30Speaker 1: Please don't join by joining you doing me? Honey. You
- 0:58Speaker 1: gotta turning. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn,
- 1:42Speaker 1: you got to turn them out. Then turn the water,
- 1:47Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your fat uh huh,
- 2:01Speaker 1: I sure will. Good morning everybody. You are listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Oh, come on dig me now, one and
- 2:09Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey Man got a radio show, Boil Boil boy.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I can't even tell you, man. I've been doing some
- 2:19Speaker 1: thinking and and one of the things that I wanted
- 2:23Speaker 1: to mention today to you as one of the principles
- 2:27Speaker 1: of success being grateful at all times. It's difficult to do.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Being grateful at all times. It's very difficult to do.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I find that to be true with myself. Now there
- 2:47Speaker 1: are others that might be able to do it, but
- 2:50Speaker 1: just just from talking and listening and and and living
- 2:53Speaker 1: and learning, being grateful at all times is difficult to do.
- 2:59Speaker 1: But it's necessary, SERI, because it's it's such an act
- 3:04Speaker 1: of faith in knowing that no matter what's going on,
- 3:08Speaker 1: it's going to be all right. And it's hard to
- 3:12Speaker 1: see that when things are not going in your favor,
- 3:17Speaker 1: when things have turned so dramatically the other way, and
- 3:21Speaker 1: it seems as though you're the only one in the
- 3:25Speaker 1: situation where you're involved with other people, or someone got
- 3:28Speaker 1: an accusation against you falsely, or somebody trying to do
- 3:32Speaker 1: something to you unjustifiably, whatever the case may be. When
- 3:37Speaker 1: it's happening to you, it does appear to you that, oh,
- 3:41Speaker 1: my goodness, man, this is horribly one sided. So it
- 3:47Speaker 1: is difficult. It's hard to do to be grateful at
- 3:50Speaker 1: all times, but it's so necessary, and I just I
- 3:55Speaker 1: just want to point out a couple of things to you.
- 3:57Speaker 1: First of all, the difficulty in being grateful in hard
- 4:02Speaker 1: times is that number one, the present circumstances. Oftentimes it's
- 4:09Speaker 1: just so pressing and so overwhelming that a lot of
- 4:13Speaker 1: your energy is devoted to trying to come up with
- 4:16Speaker 1: the solution for that, or trying to muster the strength
- 4:19Speaker 1: to whether the storm, or trying to just brace yourself
- 4:23Speaker 1: to try to get through it. And in doing that,
- 4:26Speaker 1: you don't. It's hard to be grateful. It's hard to
- 4:31Speaker 1: be grateful in pain, and I know it is. But
- 4:35Speaker 1: here is the trick for me. This is what I've
- 4:39Speaker 1: had to learn how to do, and I guess it
- 4:43Speaker 1: takes practice to get here. It's not nothing you can
- 4:46Speaker 1: just start doing right away. You got to practice it
- 4:48Speaker 1: in small increments to really get it. What I've always
- 4:51Speaker 1: had to say to myself and what I've learned to
- 4:53Speaker 1: say to myself is this is happening to me because
- 4:59Speaker 1: God is working me through something. This is happening to
- 5:03Speaker 1: me because it's some form of tests that I have
- 5:07Speaker 1: to pass in order to graduate to the next grade,
- 5:10Speaker 1: that in order to be allowed to move to the
- 5:13Speaker 1: next level. This is happening to me because there's something
- 5:18Speaker 1: I need to purge my life, of my body, of
- 5:22Speaker 1: my spirit, of something's purging in me. And when you
- 5:26Speaker 1: purge something, it's it's painful. You know, It's like a
- 5:30Speaker 1: person getting off drugs. The withdrawal is agonizing. I've been
- 5:36Speaker 1: told and every documentary I've ever watched it it's an
- 5:39Speaker 1: agonizing process to go cold turkey, to withdraw, to pull
- 5:44Speaker 1: away after you've been doing something so long and so
- 5:49Speaker 1: I know that this process is tough when you're going
- 5:54Speaker 1: through some pain, But when you're purging your system, when
- 5:59Speaker 1: you're when you're having to pass a test, when you're
- 6:02Speaker 1: about to make when you're being made ready for the
- 6:07Speaker 1: next level, that moment right in there, in realizing that
- 6:11Speaker 1: that's what's happening, that's where you find the gratitude. That's
- 6:15Speaker 1: where I found the gratitude. I hope I'm explaining this correctly.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I'm gonna keep trying until I get it. But that's
- 6:22Speaker 1: where you find the gratitude. The second part of it
- 6:27Speaker 1: is is that God has never left me in all
- 6:32Speaker 1: the things I've done, in all the mistakes I've made,
- 6:36Speaker 1: all the lies I've told, all the situations I've gotten
- 6:40Speaker 1: myself into from being greedy and wanting too much for
- 6:45Speaker 1: me at the expense sometimes of other people, not doing
- 6:53Speaker 1: it deliberately or in a vindictive way, because I've never
- 6:57Speaker 1: had that spirit. I'm not a vindictive or a mean person,
- 7:01Speaker 1: but sometimes in my life, in wanting to do what
- 7:06Speaker 1: I wanted to do, I didn't totally weigh out the
- 7:09Speaker 1: cause and effect of the other person. I mean, can't
- 7:12Speaker 1: just be real with you with that, I mean, how
- 7:15Speaker 1: many times we hadn't all done that. Look, it doesn't
- 7:17Speaker 1: don't make you a bad person. You know, good people
- 7:21Speaker 1: do bad things all the time. I just happened to
- 7:25Speaker 1: have come to the realization that unknowingly and and not
- 7:31Speaker 1: and not with malice intent towards a person. I've heard
- 7:37Speaker 1: people looking at something I wanted to do without really
- 7:42Speaker 1: looking at what the cause and effect would be on
- 7:45Speaker 1: the other person. So in doing some of these things,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I've created situations for myself. But God, through his grace
- 7:54Speaker 1: and mercy, has allowed me to even get beyond that.
- 7:58Speaker 1: So what I'm saying that God is never left me
- 8:01Speaker 1: in spite of myself. He's always gotten me through. So
- 8:05Speaker 1: that's the other part of it too. See that no
- 8:08Speaker 1: matter what you're going through, you've got to understand that
- 8:11Speaker 1: God has always gotten you through it, now, hasn't it.
- 8:14Speaker 1: Now that may not be the way you want it
- 8:16Speaker 1: or the way you liked, But guess what, you can't
- 8:19Speaker 1: do wrong and not pay for that. Now that that's
- 8:22Speaker 1: not how this works, that's never going to be the case.
- 8:25Speaker 1: But the great thing about God is he fires warning
- 8:28Speaker 1: shots at us all the time. He gives us an
- 8:30Speaker 1: opportunity to stop you know he don't fully punish us
- 8:34Speaker 1: right away. Every time we do something wrong, now does it?
- 8:37Speaker 1: You know eventually you're going to get caught doing whatever
- 8:41Speaker 1: it is you're doing. You do understand that, don't you.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But the first time, that close call, that was a
- 8:47Speaker 1: warning shot for you to stop. Look, I know you're
- 8:50Speaker 1: not perfect. I know we all sent us down here,
- 8:52Speaker 1: so I know you're gonna make mistakes. One time, I
- 8:55Speaker 1: know you was looking at her when you wasn't supposed to.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I know you said something to him when you wasn't
- 8:59Speaker 1: supposed to. I know you got with her when you
- 9:02Speaker 1: know you wasn't supposed to. And I know you got
- 9:04Speaker 1: with him when you know you wasn't supposed to. So
- 9:07Speaker 1: I'll tell you what i'm gonna do. I'm gonna fire
- 9:08Speaker 1: warning shot and maybe you'll slow your roll this time.
- 9:11Speaker 1: But we keep on though. See see see that's what happens.
- 9:15Speaker 1: See we just keep on and then the next thing,
- 9:18Speaker 1: you know, we get caught. Now, Old Lord, have mercy,
- 9:21Speaker 1: I won't out of this. Yeah. Well, see you didn't
- 9:24Speaker 1: dug this hole pretty deep, and he gonna get you out.
- 9:27Speaker 1: But there's some things that's got to go down now
- 9:30Speaker 1: because you didn't pay attention to the warning shot. See,
- 9:32Speaker 1: had you stopped the first time, you felt bad about
- 9:35Speaker 1: it and said you wasn't gonna do it no more,
- 9:37Speaker 1: the situation wouldn't be as critical. But because we don't stop,
- 9:41Speaker 1: and we go again. But God always for gives, He
- 9:46Speaker 1: always allows us to get back up again. He always
- 9:50Speaker 1: gives us mercy, He always gives us his grace. He
- 9:55Speaker 1: always does that. You're listening show, ladies and gentlemen, Without
- 10:03Speaker 1: further ado, this is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. I'm

- 11:35Speaker 1: Tell me we didn't mention that he was in the hospital. God, dog, God,

- 11:46Speaker 1: So yeah, you're cool with what else? I was at
- 11:51Speaker 1: all my vacation time, just for the hospital, all my
- 11:59Speaker 1: days just for hospitals. You can't go to Steve if
- 12:05Speaker 1: I was healthy, I've been right there in the fight.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I want to call you, Junior, because I don't took
- 12:11Speaker 1: you to the last fight. I know you did it, man,
- 12:13Speaker 1: You didn't want to rub it in, husty man, What
- 12:18Speaker 1: did you say? Steve's bedside manner is like, Junior, I'm

- 12:46Speaker 1: Oh no you're not yea, yeah, let me get off shake.
- 12:52Speaker 1: So I just sent him some texts this time. He
- 12:55Speaker 1: didn't even call Steve, I just texted. But you know
- 13:00Speaker 1: what he's saying while he does that, He said, I
- 13:02Speaker 1: can't that on him. And he's not gonna be the
- 13:04Speaker 1: last number you're always worried about. Now, I'm not gonna
- 13:09Speaker 1: be involved in this investigation. No, I'm not gonna do
- 13:13Speaker 1: it because that's the first thing they do to get
- 13:15Speaker 1: the victim's phone. Who the last person he talked to murdered.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I don't give a damn what. It is stupid and
- 13:28Speaker 1: I'm not fitting to sit up in here and be

- 15:46Speaker 1: sister Odell, a happy Black History month. Yeah, she's been

- 17:12Speaker 1: I knew the thing they didn't know. So what's something
- 17:15Speaker 1: about Harriet that we didn't know? Besides the fact that
- 17:19Speaker 1: she had two guns? What else? Two guns? Oh? Every
- 17:24Speaker 1: time they stopped to pray, she put a gun to
- 17:26Speaker 1: the head, made them keep rolling, roll out. We can
- 17:32Speaker 1: pray while we're running. Let me get my key. I
- 17:38Speaker 1: got a question. What what boy? Now? Did you did

- 23:26Speaker 1: really need be to do? Um? Well, actually, you know,
- 23:30Speaker 1: we we we got a lot of people doing different
- 23:32Speaker 1: things at the you know, at the auction, you know,
- 23:34Speaker 1: so we just want you to come out and be
- 23:36Speaker 1: of some help with everything that's going on. Okay, well
- 23:39Speaker 1: I want to be prepared. So what exactly do I
- 23:41Speaker 1: need to do? Work the concessions they in something like that. No, really,
- 23:44Speaker 1: what we had is actually you being a part of
- 23:47Speaker 1: the auction, of being a part of the auction such
- 23:51Speaker 1: as well, what we're doing tomorrow is we have already
- 23:55Speaker 1: we already have fifty people who are signed up and
- 23:57Speaker 1: you would be, you know, one of those people that
- 24:00Speaker 1: are signed up to do the actual Uh, what is
- 24:03Speaker 1: is We're having slaves for a day. And what we're
- 24:06Speaker 1: gonna be doing is auctioning you off and somebody's gonna
- 24:08Speaker 1: buy you tomorrow and you will be there for the day. Slaves. Yeah,
- 24:13Speaker 1: you will be the slave for the day. That's what
- 24:16Speaker 1: that's what we've decided to do with the black history.
- 24:18Speaker 1: We've decided. I didn't mean I don't I want to participate,
- 24:23Speaker 1: but being a slave no, okay, But see what you
- 24:27Speaker 1: I want you to understand that this is a word
- 24:28Speaker 1: that calls though. You know we want worthy call but
- 24:31Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be no play Well well you I
- 24:34Speaker 1: mean you don't have to call it a slave. I
- 24:35Speaker 1: mean as a servant, you know, a butler. You know
- 24:38Speaker 1: what I mean when you want to call it. I'm
- 24:40Speaker 1: just saying, no, I a slave, Okay, okay, man man,
- 24:46Speaker 1: miss miss Glenna. What I'm trying to explain to you
- 24:47Speaker 1: this is a word to call for the black history,
- 24:49Speaker 1: and we're trying to get you to be there. Somebody
- 24:51Speaker 1: may buy you for five hundred dollars tomorrow. No I'm
- 24:55Speaker 1: not gonna do it. Okay, are you? Are you? Are
- 24:58Speaker 1: you turning us down for or worth it calls mister glimpse, Yes,
- 25:02Speaker 1: I am turning your down. Don't call me with that
- 25:04Speaker 1: kind of no more. I mean, I don't understand what
- 25:06Speaker 1: what the problem is. You know, sometimes we got to
- 25:09Speaker 1: repeat history, so we don't go back to the history.
- 25:12Speaker 1: Sometimes we got to do it again so we don't
- 25:14Speaker 1: go back to what you understand. But it isn't seem
- 25:16Speaker 1: like you. You're acting like a houseene grow or something
- 25:20Speaker 1: like you two up at the Hawsne grow house need grow.
- 25:23Speaker 1: Who's the chairman of this? Excuse me the chairman. Last
- 25:27Speaker 1: time I spoke with mister Wilson, and we didn't have
- 25:30Speaker 1: no like this, okay, and I understand that. But what
- 25:33Speaker 1: I'm trying to explain to you is this is something
- 25:35Speaker 1: that I don't want you to explain it pain to me.
- 25:37Speaker 1: Do not call me with this kind of again. Are
- 25:40Speaker 1: you gonna show up tomorrow we can sell you? Do
- 25:42Speaker 1: you understand me? Are you gonna show up tomorrow so
- 25:45Speaker 1: we can sell you? We already have you know we're
- 25:47Speaker 1: gonna sell mean, we aren't all listed to be sold tomorrow?
- 25:50Speaker 1: Sall yo, we've got you listed to be sold tomorrow, ma'am?
- 25:54Speaker 1: Can we please make shoot don't be sold? And you
- 25:57Speaker 1: do not call you again. Hey, listen, If you don't
- 26:00Speaker 1: show up tomorrow, then we will come to your house
- 26:02Speaker 1: and sell you there. Come to you if I got
- 26:06Speaker 1: to come out of you over here, if you want
- 26:10Speaker 1: to listen, I will come there to sell you. If
- 26:12Speaker 1: you're not gonna come out to the auction, come on
- 26:14Speaker 1: to my house, you bad, Come on to my mouse. Okay,
- 26:17Speaker 1: I tell you, and you know what I need you
- 26:19Speaker 1: to do that You need to start saying yes sir
- 26:20Speaker 1: and no sir to me right now. Okay, I need
- 26:23Speaker 1: to get you in the in the frame of mind
- 26:25Speaker 1: being a save for to day. Okay, I didn't hear
- 26:28Speaker 1: what you said, kiss my black I'm coming to your
- 26:33Speaker 1: house tomorrow and I'm gonna sell you in front of
- 26:35Speaker 1: your house. If you want to come down to the
- 26:36Speaker 1: auction tomorrow morning and now to clop, you better not
- 26:39Speaker 1: bring you my house. Do you better not? Do you
- 26:43Speaker 1: understand me? I had a march for civil rights. I
- 26:46Speaker 1: don't have time for no like that. You I understand,
- 26:51Speaker 1: But right now we're trying to raise some money for
- 26:53Speaker 1: black history and we need to sell you tomorrow morning.
- 26:56Speaker 1: You're not gonna sell me. You're not gonna sell me.
- 26:59Speaker 1: You my hoss no more. Do you understand? Then? Call?
- 27:03Speaker 1: I understand exactly what you're saying. Can I sell you
- 27:05Speaker 1: something else? Who else is gonna be Sol tomorrow? Tell
- 27:08Speaker 1: y'all now, don't tell me. I got one more thing.
- 27:11Speaker 1: I do need to tell you? What is it? Bess
- 27:14Speaker 1: is Matthew Timmy from the Steve Harby Morning Show. You
- 27:17Speaker 1: just got pranked by your sisters. My sister, my sister.
- 27:27Speaker 1: I can't believe that I'm gonna get Huh. I can't
- 27:32Speaker 1: believe you to, did Miss Glenda? You all right? I'm
- 27:38Speaker 1: all right, this is so crazy. I can't believe it.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I'm for it. Doesn't sound like you're gonna get Sol.
- 27:49Speaker 1: No way. They'll know you wouldn't getting on miss auction Block. Huh, No,
- 27:55Speaker 1: no way, because Miss Lenders have been there. I've been
- 27:59Speaker 1: at the city end, the marches. I've done some of everything. Yes, ma'am, Well,
- 28:03Speaker 1: I tell you what, missus Glenna, if it wasn't for
- 28:05Speaker 1: people like you, we probably wouldn't be where we are today.
- 28:07Speaker 1: That's right. We showed. Thank you, we showed thinking. I
- 28:10Speaker 1: just wanted to play a joke on. Did I get you? Yes?
- 28:13Speaker 1: You did? You? Sure? Indeed it I got one more.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I got one more thing to ask you. What is
- 28:20Speaker 1: what is the baddest and I mean the baddest radio
- 28:22Speaker 1: show in the land. The Steve Harvey Morning showed that
- 28:26Speaker 1: the nephew Tommy, we love you, missus Glendon. Okay, love
- 28:30Speaker 1: you too. Did you like it? But I laugh? Oh?
- 28:44Speaker 1: Are you good? You were good? Tommy? You good? You
- 28:47Speaker 1: was good? You you was? Because you know, it's amazing
- 28:50Speaker 1: how God uses people. Since Rondell coming up at the
- 28:56Speaker 1: top of the hour, We'll have something and national news
- 28:59Speaker 1: for you right after this. You're listening to this Dave
- 29:04Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show and Today's Entertainment News. Actor Jesse Smalett
- 29:10Speaker 1: was into a Chicago courtroom yesterday to answer for more
- 29:13Speaker 1: charges related to the hate crime he allegedly staged against
- 29:17Speaker 1: himself more than a year ago. He entered a not
- 29:20Speaker 1: guilty plea for each of the six felon accounts of
- 29:23Speaker 1: disorderly conduct he's charged with. Jesse was released on a
- 29:27Speaker 1: twenty thousand dollars bond. Judge James b Lynn told him, yeah,
- 29:31Speaker 1: twenty thousand dollars bond. Judge James b Lynn told him,
- 29:35Speaker 1: you need to come back to court and you're required
- 29:37Speaker 1: to do so, do you understand? Jesse nodded in response.
- 29:41Speaker 1: He didn't speak. Though his attorneys are claiming double jeopardy.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Experts say his case will likely go to trial. If
- 29:48Speaker 1: Smallett is convicted on the fresh charges, he could face
- 29:52Speaker 1: up to three years in jail, community service, and a
- 29:55Speaker 1: find of up to twenty five thousand dollars. He I
- 30:00Speaker 1: do not understand, because didn't he wasn't he cleared and
- 30:06Speaker 1: he came back by the district attorney there. Yeah, so see,
- 30:12Speaker 1: I don't know how they're doing this, but like I mean, Chicago,
- 30:17Speaker 1: we got a lot of other problems. This one feels
- 30:20Speaker 1: personal though. Oh they're so mad at him, Yeah, they're real, man.
- 30:25Speaker 1: The president himself is real mad. He tweeted about it.
- 30:29Speaker 1: He got other stuff he needed to be working exactly
- 30:33Speaker 1: right now talking to somebody that's not that's not presidential.
- 30:37Speaker 1: So what he should be doing this not? Yeah he's
- 30:40Speaker 1: a dictators out of his case, Yeah, yes, but I
- 30:49Speaker 1: mean for it, like you say, though, but for him
- 30:51Speaker 1: to to tweet about this particular case. But you know,
- 30:55Speaker 1: if you say something bad about him, he's gonna get
- 30:57Speaker 1: your pre for the fact that they one judge dismissed
- 31:02Speaker 1: the charges or whatever they did up there, and for
- 31:05Speaker 1: him to be back in court if gonna be putting
- 31:08Speaker 1: this much time in it. We have a lot of
- 31:10Speaker 1: problems in Chicago. Jesse Smullett is not one of them. Now.
- 31:15Speaker 1: I don't know what Jesse angle is with his Yeah,
- 31:19Speaker 1: you know, they claiming double jeopardy, which is you cannot
- 31:21Speaker 1: be tried for the same crime twice, crime twice. But
- 31:26Speaker 1: I don't know how they're gonna get away with that.
- 31:28Speaker 1: But because they look like they got some new charges
- 31:30Speaker 1: put out there. But I mean, man, come on, Chicago,
- 31:33Speaker 1: we got other things to do. I know a lot
- 31:35Speaker 1: of people mad at him, and you know the manpower
- 31:39Speaker 1: in the time that was wasted for the investigation. Yeah
- 31:42Speaker 1: you see, you know, yeah, he don't really look like
- 31:47Speaker 1: it was no people jumping on him. He made history,
- 31:55Speaker 1: you know. I you know, two Africans with the Mega
- 31:59Speaker 1: had a home there too. Um, they were there, they
- 32:03Speaker 1: went to court two. Oh there was there. Yeah. I
- 32:07Speaker 1: mean they didn't have anything to do with this, but
- 32:09Speaker 1: they just showed up. Yeah, they didn't have nothing to
- 32:13Speaker 1: do with it. Nothing nothing to do with Jesse's fresh
- 32:17Speaker 1: charges right now, stuff exactly That's what everybody was saying.
- 32:22Speaker 1: What why did they end? Yeah? Oh see, man, y'all,
- 32:27Speaker 1: the saga continues. It ain't open all right. I missed it.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I missed a date one time and I told a
- 32:35Speaker 1: girl that I had blacked out. And that's date. That's
- 32:39Speaker 1: not just trying to just trying to trying to help,
- 32:44Speaker 1: just trying to help. Jesse, you know, that's all saying
- 32:51Speaker 1: dating a lie. I don't know why you went out there,
- 32:53Speaker 1: got that rope though the hell was rope about? That
- 32:59Speaker 1: was a thing? He didn't you go to home depot then?
- 33:01Speaker 1: I on't no way he went. All right, listen, it's
- 33:06Speaker 1: time to get caught up on today's headline. Steve, Please,
- 33:09Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, miss saying trip, thank you very much,
- 33:12Speaker 1: and good morning everyone out there. Seven of the ten
- 33:14Speaker 1: remaining Democratic presidential to contenders faced off against each other
- 33:18Speaker 1: last night in South Carolina. Unlike Iowa New Hampshire, South
- 33:22Speaker 1: Carolina's population is much more diverse, much more closely resembling
- 33:26Speaker 1: much of the rest of the country, so each candidate
- 33:28Speaker 1: introduced themselves to the country they hope to lead. Okay,
- 33:32Speaker 1: South Carolina's primaries being held on Saturday, last night's matchup
- 33:35Speaker 1: was the last Democratic debate before March third, or so
- 33:38Speaker 1: called Super Tuesday, that's when fifteen states and territories make
- 33:41Speaker 1: their primary choices. Ex Hollywood kingmaker Harvey Weinstein has now
- 33:46Speaker 1: spent another night in the hospital. Weinstein complained of chess
- 33:49Speaker 1: pains right after he was convicted of two sexually related
- 33:52Speaker 1: charges in Manhattan. He faces some twenty nine years in
- 33:55Speaker 1: prison when he's sentenced, but his lawyer Arthuri Dallas says
- 33:59Speaker 1: Weinstein's innocent. They're gonna appeal. It's very certain that everything
- 34:02Speaker 1: that took place was consensual, that he that he didn't
- 34:05Speaker 1: have to force anyone. He never did force anyone. It's
- 34:09Speaker 1: not in his makeup to force anyone. And that's why
- 34:11Speaker 1: they say they are appealing. The mostly Republican appointed Supreme
- 34:14Speaker 1: Court get this rule that families of Mexican citizens who
- 34:17Speaker 1: were shot by border patrol police on the Mexican territory
- 34:21Speaker 1: have no constitutional right to sue those agents in US
- 34:24Speaker 1: courts for damages. The High Court ruling came in a
- 34:26Speaker 1: case of a Mexican teenager who was shot to death
- 34:29Speaker 1: along the US Mexico border about ten years ago. Fifteen
- 34:33Speaker 1: year old was with some friends in the area between
- 34:35Speaker 1: al Paso, Texas and Warez, Mexico, when a border patrol
- 34:38Speaker 1: agent claims he was throwing rocks at him, so he
- 34:40Speaker 1: shot the teenager in the head, killing him. Even though
- 34:43Speaker 1: the agents story was disputed by video footage, the justices
- 34:47Speaker 1: a rule nevertheless five to four and long ideological lines
- 34:49Speaker 1: in favor of the agent's version of events. A spokesman
- 34:53Speaker 1: for the US Sentence for Disease Control says, it's not
- 34:55Speaker 1: a question of if, but when the coronavirus overwhelms the US.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Fears over the long term impact that coronavirus may have
- 35:02Speaker 1: on economies all over the world turned into a pandemic
- 35:04Speaker 1: sent US stocks diving again yesterday for the second straight day.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Today's National do not utter a word Day, But you
- 35:12Speaker 1: don't have to say a word. Now back to the
- 35:13Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening to show and trending
- 35:19Speaker 1: political news. Last night was the tenth presidential candidate Democratic
- 35:24Speaker 1: debate in Charleston, South Carolina. It was hosted by CBS
- 35:28Speaker 1: and moderated by Nora O'Donnell and Gail King. The six
- 35:32Speaker 1: candidates on stage, Joe Biden, Mike Bloomberg, Pete Buddha, judge,
- 35:35Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Amy Klovischer, and billionaire Tom Steyer.
- 35:41Speaker 1: But first, Steve, we got to talk about Bloomberg's latest commercial.
- 35:45Speaker 1: So so, in this commercial, Bloomberg visits Tulsa, Oklahoma, Greenwood,
- 35:51Speaker 1: you know the black walls. Bloomberg said he knows his
- 35:56Speaker 1: story would have been different if he had been black.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Oh I've seen this one. Yeah, it'd been the same
- 36:01Speaker 1: as ours. Bloomberg is talking about the bias that have
- 36:05Speaker 1: kept African Americans from gaining wealth. His opponent, Joe Biden,
- 36:09Speaker 1: said that Bloomberg's money over sixty billion, can buy you
- 36:13Speaker 1: a lot of advertising, but it can't erase your record.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Other Democratic opponents said Bloomberg can buy a lot of
- 36:19Speaker 1: TV spots, but he can't debate. Man. You think he
- 36:24Speaker 1: over blacken in it? You think he over blackened. Can
- 36:28Speaker 1: I tell you legitimate question, Tommy, Well, can I tell
- 36:31Speaker 1: you something A Yeah. All of these older white men,
- 36:36Speaker 1: Bernie Sanders, Joe Biden, Trump, Bloomberg, Styres, all of them,
- 36:44Speaker 1: somewhere in their life, have made derogatory comments about a
- 36:50Speaker 1: group of minorities. All of them, they are all on tape. Somewhere.
- 36:55Speaker 1: It is. It is, it is just the truth. They
- 36:58Speaker 1: can go back and get Joe Biden for the passing
- 37:01Speaker 1: that bill that incarcerated all in black people. Bernie Sanders
- 37:06Speaker 1: signed off on that bill. Donald Trump supported stopping Fris,
- 37:11Speaker 1: gave several streeches about it. Donald Trump took out a
- 37:14Speaker 1: full page ad to convict him five innocent black Central
- 37:18Speaker 1: Palm dudes. This dude started to stop in Fris. Bloomberg,
- 37:24Speaker 1: every old white man has something that you can dig
- 37:29Speaker 1: up on him that he said, that is the culture
- 37:33Speaker 1: they are from. All we are left with here is
- 37:36Speaker 1: the lesser of evils that you have to pick. And
- 37:40Speaker 1: I'm sorry, man, that's my opinion of them. And so
- 37:43Speaker 1: I will be voting based on that and right now,
- 37:47Speaker 1: right now, because he can't debate, don't make him not
- 37:52Speaker 1: a good candidate. Bloomberg has great commercials, though, I will
- 37:56Speaker 1: give him that a lot. He has complans to put
- 38:02Speaker 1: seventy billion I believe. Yeah, you said that into African
- 38:06Speaker 1: American cases in all situations. Ain't nobody else said that
- 38:10Speaker 1: on that whole stage. All right? Well, coming up at
- 38:13Speaker 1: thirty four minutes after the hour, a boxer Deontay Wilder,
- 38:17Speaker 1: says it was his forty pounds suit that is the
- 38:20Speaker 1: reason he lost the fight to Tyson Fury. You were there,
- 38:28Speaker 1: you talk about it. You're listening to show well. According
- 38:39Speaker 1: to Yahoo News, Deontay Wilder wanted to make his ring
- 38:42Speaker 1: walk prior to his fight with Tyson Fury. He wanted
- 38:45Speaker 1: to make it special, so he wore this forty pound
- 38:48Speaker 1: costume as a tribute to Black History Month. Oh, I
- 38:51Speaker 1: didn't know that, but Deontay said the costume was too
- 38:55Speaker 1: heavy and that was the reason he didn't have his
- 38:58Speaker 1: legs under him and his seventh round t KO lost
- 39:02Speaker 1: to Fury. Deontay Steve went on to say that he
- 39:06Speaker 1: will go to Africa at the end of March on
- 39:09Speaker 1: vacation and when he returns uh, Deontay will announce his
- 39:15Speaker 1: rematch for a third fight with a heavyweight champ, Tyson Fury. Deonta, okay,
- 39:22Speaker 1: go ahead. First of all, Tyson has to agree to
- 39:25Speaker 1: the rematch right away. That has to happen, I think.
- 39:29Speaker 1: But I don't see where they can make as much
- 39:31Speaker 1: money either one of them fighting anybody else, So I
- 39:33Speaker 1: don't see why they would do that. Um next, Oh,
- 39:39Speaker 1: come on, it's a lot to do okay. First of all, Africa,
- 39:45Speaker 1: I'll meet you over there. I'm gonna take you round.
- 39:50Speaker 1: But I want you all to understand Africans is just
- 39:54Speaker 1: black people with African in front of their name instead
- 39:59Speaker 1: of and when you stopped there, you know, it's just Africans,
- 40:03Speaker 1: it's not African Americans. The African in them makes them
- 40:07Speaker 1: the same as us. So they're gonna ask you ask
- 40:10Speaker 1: something about this damn vest. They're gonna ask about the costume. Thirdly,
- 40:17Speaker 1: Tyson Fury got carried into the ring. He didn't use
- 40:22Speaker 1: his legs. He had six white women rolling him in.
- 40:28Speaker 1: He got carried out. You know they weren't on their shoulders.
- 40:31Speaker 1: That the whole thing was on the wheel. Yeah. Yeah,
- 40:34Speaker 1: the women ain't carrying him because they look way too comfortable.
- 40:38Speaker 1: No struggle at all. Yeah, they sexy, was alive and well.
- 40:43Speaker 1: So he got rolled into the stage. Dante decided to
- 40:48Speaker 1: put a forty pound mask and shoulder pads on Beautiful.
- 40:53Speaker 1: I love the intro. I thought it was outstanding. I
- 40:57Speaker 1: love going down the hallway with the pictures of black
- 41:00Speaker 1: history monossin. That's dope. I didn't you know. I don't
- 41:03Speaker 1: care about costumes. I just want to see the fight.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Tyson came in with a hole cut in a towel
- 41:08Speaker 1: on his ass. Tyson came in there with a hole
- 41:13Speaker 1: in a towel cut around his ass. Take this towel off,
- 41:16Speaker 1: and I started popping his aid. So I felt bad
- 41:24Speaker 1: that he said he didn't have legs because of a
- 41:28Speaker 1: forty pound costume. I felt bad for that because I
- 41:35Speaker 1: have a forty pound weight vest and I've walked up
- 41:41Speaker 1: the steps in it. You know, I have a lot
- 41:43Speaker 1: of steps in my house, and sometimes for exercise, I
- 41:46Speaker 1: put the weight vessel on and walk up and down
- 41:48Speaker 1: the steps or I be winded as hell. But I'm
- 41:53Speaker 1: not thirty two years old and got got the body
- 41:58Speaker 1: that Dante Wild. God, I'm not a professional fighter. I
- 42:02Speaker 1: bewinded as hell, and I could probably get my asshoop
- 42:06Speaker 1: right after the first walk up the steps. But I'm
- 42:09Speaker 1: not a professional fighter, right. You cannot use that as
- 42:15Speaker 1: an excuse. I think Partuicio legs with them punches in
- 42:19Speaker 1: the head the first two rounds. Yeah yeah, when you
- 42:25Speaker 1: got you ear busted, yeah yeah. And I was at
- 42:30Speaker 1: the fight, man I here. Deonte also said Steve that
- 42:35Speaker 1: he's upset with his assistant trainer Mark Brelan for throwing
- 42:39Speaker 1: in the towel to stop the fight. He also suggested
- 42:43Speaker 1: that Brilin will no longer be a part of the
- 42:45Speaker 1: team on fight night, He said he was displeased with
- 42:48Speaker 1: the work of referee Kenny Bayliss, who took a point
- 42:51Speaker 1: from Fury in the fifth round and went out of
- 42:54Speaker 1: his way to congratulate Tyson Fury on his performance. So
- 42:58Speaker 1: he was mad, Okay, I have something to say when
- 43:01Speaker 1: we come back. Okay, all right, all right, coming up
- 43:05Speaker 1: next the nephew with today's prank phone call, and Steve
- 43:09Speaker 1: has something to say too. It's his show and he's
- 43:12Speaker 1: gonna say it right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 43:21Speaker 1: So you wanted to comment on this, let me tell
- 43:25Speaker 1: you this again. We were talking about the fight earlier,
- 43:27Speaker 1: Deontay said. Deontay Wilder said he was upset with his
- 43:30Speaker 1: assistant trainer Mark Brelan for throwing in the towel to
- 43:33Speaker 1: stop the fight. He suggested that Brelan will no longer
- 43:36Speaker 1: be a part of his team on fight night. He
- 43:39Speaker 1: also said he was displeased with referee Kenny Bayless's work.
- 43:43Speaker 1: He took a point from Fury in the fifth round,
- 43:46Speaker 1: and he went out of his way to congratulate Tyson
- 43:49Speaker 1: Fury on his performance. First of all, he was not
- 43:52Speaker 1: in the best of shape to comment on him. I
- 43:54Speaker 1: know the referee Bayless, the dude is an outstanding round.
- 43:59Speaker 1: He admonished both of those fighters for using heads and
- 44:03Speaker 1: for punching after the bill. I was there, I watched
- 44:06Speaker 1: him do it. The referee had nothing to do with
- 44:08Speaker 1: this fight. As far as taking a point from Tyson,
- 44:12Speaker 1: what was he supposed to do? He took the point
- 44:15Speaker 1: for continuously hitting after the ball and behind the head.
- 44:19Speaker 1: He told him that now that that was a behind
- 44:22Speaker 1: the head punch that knocked Dante down first, right, that
- 44:27Speaker 1: was an illegal punch. But this is a fight, though,
- 44:30Speaker 1: the rules of the fight when you go in the
- 44:32Speaker 1: center of the ring is protect yourself at all times
- 44:36Speaker 1: on the break on the clinch, because you don't know
- 44:40Speaker 1: if a fighter gonna hear what the ref saying or
- 44:42Speaker 1: not protect yourself at all times. We are not responsible
- 44:46Speaker 1: for it was about having your ass up in hill.
- 44:48Speaker 1: As far as getting rid of Mark, Mark Brelan did
- 44:51Speaker 1: the best thing for a person who cares about his fighter.
- 44:55Speaker 1: What Dante Wilder needs to do is get rid of
- 44:59Speaker 1: the other guy in the corner walk. He's not a
- 45:03Speaker 1: good trainer, Tommy. He needs to go out and find
- 45:06Speaker 1: Tony ATNS and get him to come out of retirement
- 45:10Speaker 1: and train him. All Right, we got it. Well, the
- 45:13Speaker 1: nephew is here with today's prank phone call. What you
- 45:16Speaker 1: got for us? Now? I got quarterback sneak. Okay, okay,
- 45:20Speaker 1: get Floyd to daddy quarterbacks sneak. Let's go catch Dom. Hello,
- 45:29Speaker 1: let's speak the chances. This s is a Tony. Are
- 45:33Speaker 1: you Isaia's mama? Excuse me? You are you Isaia's mama? Yeah?
- 45:38Speaker 1: I am Why who are you? My name is Tony.
- 45:41Speaker 1: I'm Deandre's daddy. DeAndre. They played on this past season.
- 45:45Speaker 1: They played on the football. They played on them on
- 45:48Speaker 1: the Cityhawks together. Okay, okay, but like, why are you
- 45:52Speaker 1: calling me? Okay, I'm calling you for a particular reason.
- 45:54Speaker 1: Let me tell you what's going on this whole pas
- 45:57Speaker 1: football season. You'll sell at Isaiah. He was a starting quarterback, right, yeah,
- 46:02Speaker 1: he said, Yeah, he's a thirting quarterback. He works real hard,
- 46:04Speaker 1: like that's that's a position. Okay, let me let me
- 46:07Speaker 1: gonna say I already know that my son DeAndre is
- 46:11Speaker 1: way better than your son, Isa. I already know that
- 46:14Speaker 1: all right now. I can't get to excuse you. No it,
- 46:17Speaker 1: don't excuse me. I'm not gonna excuse myself about this.
- 46:19Speaker 1: I've been wanting to get you on the phone so
- 46:21Speaker 1: i can tell you exactly what's going on. Let me
- 46:23Speaker 1: tell you something that when when the season come back around,
- 46:26Speaker 1: when they get ready to play again, I'm telling you
- 46:28Speaker 1: right now, my son DeAndre gonna be started. Please know that.
- 46:32Speaker 1: Just trust me. I'll swear to you. I know what
- 46:34Speaker 1: you did for your Excuse me, sir, excuse me you
- 46:37Speaker 1: you who do you think you are calling me telling
- 46:40Speaker 1: me that your son is gonna take my son because
- 46:42Speaker 1: this and on the team. How do you even have
- 46:43Speaker 1: my number I got? I got your number from a
- 46:46Speaker 1: reliable start. What are the parents gave me your number?
- 46:48Speaker 1: But what's like? What kind of mental problems you got
- 46:51Speaker 1: calling my house telling me about how your son is.
- 46:54Speaker 1: So your son is like not barely even on the team,
- 46:56Speaker 1: he's not even stirting. Okay, No, my son eight started, well,
- 47:00Speaker 1: he gonna be starting next year. Okay, But I know
- 47:03Speaker 1: what you did for your son to be started. Trust me,
- 47:05Speaker 1: I know what you did, and I didn't do anything.
- 47:08Speaker 1: My son earned his position. So I mean, I don't
- 47:11Speaker 1: I don't really get what you're saying here. You're talking
- 47:13Speaker 1: about talking some big game about your son taking my
- 47:16Speaker 1: son's position. Like, first of all, I don't even know
- 47:18Speaker 1: who you are. I don't know how you got my number.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Like these these these are kids. It's not it's really
- 47:22Speaker 1: not that serious. Like their kids out there having a
- 47:25Speaker 1: good time, trying to play a game. Like I haven't
- 47:28Speaker 1: seen you at a game. I don't know. I don't
- 47:31Speaker 1: know what you could think. You are stepping up being
- 47:34Speaker 1: like my son is gonna take your son's position, Like
- 47:37Speaker 1: what kind of being crazy? Are you calling me? Out
- 47:39Speaker 1: of nowhere? Out of that? You're calling me nowhere out
- 47:41Speaker 1: of the clear blue. I'm just minding my business. My
- 47:44Speaker 1: son is playing this game. Who the are you and
- 47:47Speaker 1: why are you calling me? Like I ain't been to
- 47:50Speaker 1: no games, but I'm a bet on next season. I okay, okay,
- 47:54Speaker 1: I mean you could try, you could try. You might
- 47:56Speaker 1: not want to come to your son's still ain't certain,
- 47:59Speaker 1: but let's go on. Get to the reason why I
- 48:00Speaker 1: called you. I already know why your son started because
- 48:03Speaker 1: that's going on. That's going on? Bet what what? No,
- 48:06Speaker 1: my son is starting because he earned his position. He's
- 48:08Speaker 1: the best on the team. Here you're saying that, Cannis,
- 48:13Speaker 1: But are you sure your son ain't starting because maybe
- 48:16Speaker 1: you maybe you slept, maybe you slept with coach Bryant.
- 48:19Speaker 1: What wait, excuse you? Like, did you did you? Did
- 48:23Speaker 1: you sleep with coach Brian so you'll soon you get
- 48:25Speaker 1: that position? Did you do that? Your mama's plepper coach
- 48:28Speaker 1: for coach Brian with her drive, that's why your son
- 48:31Speaker 1: ain't playing. What do you think you are accusing me
- 48:34Speaker 1: and sleeping with a coach. Hey, hey, I'm just I'm
- 48:37Speaker 1: just letting you know, I know what you did for you.
- 48:39Speaker 1: You don't know, you don't know, you don't know. Okay,
- 48:43Speaker 1: So so so you you singing you a seven coach brand,
- 48:46Speaker 1: that's what you're saying too. So as they are starting
- 48:49Speaker 1: because he just because because he they just picked him
- 48:51Speaker 1: the start. You are crazy. First of all, you're gonna
- 48:55Speaker 1: have to talk to my husband because these accusations are ridiculous,
- 49:00Speaker 1: out of control, Like, I don't know who the do
- 49:02Speaker 1: you think you are calling on the house excusing me
- 49:04Speaker 1: of sleeping with the coach, my son earnest positions on
- 49:07Speaker 1: the team. He's like, who do you think you are?
- 49:11Speaker 1: You are Gray, but who who is your Look? Who
- 49:13Speaker 1: is that? My husband is Curtis. So you don't know
- 49:16Speaker 1: because you ain't never showed up for your own damn son. Okay,
- 49:19Speaker 1: Curtis your your little name Curtis. Okay, okay, So I'll
- 49:22Speaker 1: tell you what I need. I need to talk to Curtius.
- 49:23Speaker 1: You know what I need to do. Oh, you're gonna
- 49:25Speaker 1: more than talk to Curtis. You're gonna catch some ins
- 49:28Speaker 1: from Curtis with that mouth. Okay, all good, So so
- 49:32Speaker 1: so let me answer this. You're trying like Curtis that
- 49:35Speaker 1: drive trumps. That's Curtis. I'm talking about Curtis, my husband
- 49:39Speaker 1: and my house. You don't know who we are because
- 49:42Speaker 1: you ain't never showed up. You ain't nobody. Your kid
- 49:45Speaker 1: is nobody, says who phone? Call his book and you
- 49:48Speaker 1: need to call back into whatever the hall you came
- 49:51Speaker 1: out of, because I am not here for this. Curtis
- 49:53Speaker 1: is a tru driver, right, Yeah, you're lucky he ain't
- 49:56Speaker 1: on your shober yet. Oh okay, okay, you're trying my
- 50:00Speaker 1: Curtis nah, nah, nah? Can I tell you something else
- 50:03Speaker 1: I didn't find out of my Curtis, I tell you
- 50:05Speaker 1: that I don't. I don't, I don't. I kind of
- 50:07Speaker 1: don't want to hear anything that comes out of your
- 50:08Speaker 1: mouth at this point. I tell you, if we're gonna
- 50:11Speaker 1: just the last thing I'm gonna say out of my mouth,
- 50:13Speaker 1: can I just tell you what I know? My Curtis,
- 50:15Speaker 1: you better bake it quick. I'm gonna make it quick.
- 50:18Speaker 1: Curtis got me to play phone call you. This is
- 50:21Speaker 1: nephew Tommy. Can this from the Steve Harvey Morning Show?

- 50:36Speaker 1: But you're gonna be on in the morning though. Oh my,
- 50:40Speaker 1: couldn't it like my heart is racing right now? The
- 50:44Speaker 1: phone and tear off your throat? Can mean my husband

- 53:26Speaker 1: subject he is playing more than the organ. Just Stephen Shirley.
- 53:30Speaker 1: My mother is seventy years old, but she is a
- 53:35Speaker 1: new seventies woman. She's a size eight and her skin
- 53:39Speaker 1: is as smooth as can be, and she doesn't have
- 53:42Speaker 1: one wrinkle or gray hair in sight. She's a well known,
- 53:47Speaker 1: respected member of our church and she's active in church ministries.
- 53:52Speaker 1: My mother and I have always had a great mom
- 53:55Speaker 1: and daughter relationship until recently. We have been having a
- 54:00Speaker 1: lot of problems since my mother started dating the organist
- 54:04Speaker 1: at our church, who is only thirty one years old.
- 54:09Speaker 1: He's two years younger than I am. She admitted that
- 54:12Speaker 1: they're having that they're dating, and she told me that
- 54:15Speaker 1: they have the best mind boggling sex ever. I was mortified,
- 54:22Speaker 1: and I can't help but hate this guy. Now. It's
- 54:25Speaker 1: so bad that when I'm in church I can't get
- 54:28Speaker 1: into the music during the service and enjoy it knowing
- 54:31Speaker 1: that the main minister of music is doing my seventy
- 54:34Speaker 1: year old mama. I have told my mom that she's
- 54:37Speaker 1: making a huge mistake and that this man is taking
- 54:40Speaker 1: advantage of her. We have argued and argued, and now
- 54:44Speaker 1: our relationship is on the rocks. I discussed this with
- 54:48Speaker 1: my husband, and instead of comforting me and understanding my pain,
- 54:53Speaker 1: he took my mother's side and told me to mind
- 54:56Speaker 1: my business. He thinks my mom has the right to
- 54:59Speaker 1: date whoever wants to. Then he accused me of being
- 55:02Speaker 1: jealous of her young, handsome boyfriend. Every time I would
- 55:06Speaker 1: bring it up, he would say, I'm bothered by it
- 55:09Speaker 1: because I'm a little jealous. I couldn't believe my husband
- 55:13Speaker 1: would go there and be that petty. Now I'm at
- 55:15Speaker 1: odds with him and my mom. Everything has just gone bad,
- 55:19Speaker 1: and I don't know what to do. How can I
- 55:22Speaker 1: make things right with my mom first? Then with my husband?
- 55:26Speaker 1: Please advise, well, in order to make things right, I
- 55:32Speaker 1: just think you're gonna have to go back to being,
- 55:35Speaker 1: you know, to just being her daughter. You can't be
- 55:38Speaker 1: her judge. You can't you know, you can't be telling
- 55:42Speaker 1: her what to do. You can't be acting like you're
- 55:44Speaker 1: the mom. You know somebody needs to, certainly, but you
- 55:48Speaker 1: can't do it because she's not hearing it from you.
- 55:51Speaker 1: She is seventy years old. There's nothing you can tell
- 55:54Speaker 1: her right now. Stop arguing with her. You say you
- 55:57Speaker 1: argue and argue with her. You're gonna have to stop
- 55:59Speaker 1: doing that. You may never accept the situation, and I
- 56:03Speaker 1: totally get that, but you can't let your mom know.
- 56:06Speaker 1: You just can't let your mom know it your opposition
- 56:10Speaker 1: to her relationship. It's probably just you know, driving her
- 56:13Speaker 1: closer to the baby. Okay, you do sound like yeah
- 56:19Speaker 1: to the baby. He's thirty one, she's seventy. That's the baby.
- 56:23Speaker 1: To her, you sound like a busybody. I know you're upset,
- 56:28Speaker 1: but that's how you're coming off. Why. I do not
- 56:30Speaker 1: agree with your husband at all that you're jealous. I
- 56:34Speaker 1: don't think it's that you're looking out for your mom's
- 56:36Speaker 1: best interest. Why is she dating this thirty one year old?
- 56:39Speaker 1: You think she's getting played, you think she's getting taken
- 56:42Speaker 1: advantage of. You gotta let your mom live. You just
- 56:46Speaker 1: gotta let her live. I don't know too many thirty
- 56:49Speaker 1: one year olds that date seventy year old, so it
- 56:52Speaker 1: may not last much longer. You don't know. Again, I
- 56:57Speaker 1: just say, you gotta let this one go. You gotta
- 56:59Speaker 1: stay out out of it. You got to mind your business,
- 57:02Speaker 1: like your mom says. That's one way to make it
- 57:05Speaker 1: right with your mom and maybe with your husband too.
- 57:08Speaker 1: Stay out of it. As much as it pains you,
- 57:11Speaker 1: let your mom do. Do her do you boom? Steve? Well, Well,
- 57:19Speaker 1: let's take this letter down. First of all, I want
- 57:22Speaker 1: to say to the lady that I'm about to respond to.
- 57:25Speaker 1: I hope you're not listening today. I shall hope you're not.
- 57:32Speaker 1: Why Steve, because I just got to tell the truth. Yeah,
- 57:36Speaker 1: my mother is seventy years old, but she's a new
- 57:39Speaker 1: seventies woman. She's a size ain't and her skin is
- 57:43Speaker 1: smooth at it can being. You ain't a wrinkle or
- 57:46Speaker 1: gray hand sight. Well, let's start with this statement. She
- 57:51Speaker 1: is a new seventies woman. Ain't nothing seventy years old
- 57:56Speaker 1: new U everything old. It's been on this earth seventy years.
- 58:07Speaker 1: It's old, it's been through some things. Now, she might
- 58:11Speaker 1: be a size eight. Hard define a size twenty four
- 58:16Speaker 1: seventy year old. You know, we just don't get that
- 58:22Speaker 1: far with that much weight on us. So she a
- 58:25Speaker 1: size eight. Na, here's the statement you made. She's well known,
- 58:33Speaker 1: respecting member of our church, and she's active in church ministries.
- 58:40Speaker 1: This was the god her ass in trouble. She is
- 58:44Speaker 1: active in church ministries. One of the ministries is the
- 58:49Speaker 1: music ministry. And guess what your mama active in that too.
- 58:55Speaker 1: She ain't even in the question. Your mama is too
- 58:58Speaker 1: damned active. Need to go sit her old ass town somewhere,
- 59:04Speaker 1: and I hope you're not listening, because there's more way.
- 59:06Speaker 1: This came for rue Part two. Steve's a response coming
- 59:11Speaker 1: up at twenty three minutes after the hour subject he's
- 59:14Speaker 1: playing more than the organ. We'll be back right after this.
- 59:17Speaker 1: You're listening show, all right, Steve, come on, let's recap
- 59:22Speaker 1: today's strawberry letter. He's playing more than the organ. It's
- 59:26Speaker 1: said her mama seventy, she thirty three. She got to
- 59:32Speaker 1: sit through this hill because her mama knew. Seventies woman
- 59:36Speaker 1: with her old self ain't nothing new at seventy. I
- 59:38Speaker 1: told you that ain't no wrinkles, gray haad nothing. That's dae. Oh,
- 59:47Speaker 1: you ain't got to have a great head, that's d no.
- 59:52Speaker 1: She's well known, respected member of our church. She's active
- 59:56Speaker 1: keywords active in church ministries. Yeah, she is a little
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: bit too active for you. I see. You and your
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: mother always had a great mom daughter relationship, and too
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: recently y'all been having a lot of problems since your
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: mother started dating the organis at your church who's thirty
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: one years old, two years younger than me. Here we go.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Your mama's seventy. She didn't went back damn near forty
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: years forty years thirty nine to be exact, found somebody
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: damn near forty years younger than her, admitute that they're dating,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: and they got the best mind boggling sex ever. Well,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: if you getting jumped on by thirty one year old
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: and you seventy seventy, there's gonna be some rejuvenation going
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: on here. That's the mind boggling part. It's so sad
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: that when I'm in church, I can't get into the
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: music and the service knowing that this man of music,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: minister of music is doing my seventy year old mama.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I know you can't because he uped that just banging
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: on that organ. Steve, No, he uped that, just banging
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: on that organ, And you can't enjoy that because your
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: mind somewhere else. He uped a just banging on that organ.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: And get it. You gotta damn attitude. Now, I told
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: your mama. You told your mama. She's making a huge
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: mistake and this man is taking advantage of her. We
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: didn't argu in argan. First of all, she's seventy. I
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: want you to tell you, I want you to tell
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: I want you to hit the role that your mother
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: playing in this. She know that man for the years younger,
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: but she's feeding her ego right now. Your mama is
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: feeding her ego. Girl, I can get somebody this young
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: want me? This an ego move. This is like with
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: an old ass ball head man go out and buy
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: a sports car, leave his family and his wife and
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: start dating a twenty two yell because he got money.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: This ain't fitting the last, and this message your mama
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: in this ain't fitting the last either. But if you
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: would back up for a minute, it'll play itself out.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Shirley's right, if you would just mind your own business.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: But it's hard because you know your mama getting played,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: but he getting played too though. Now he's doing some
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: egotistical stuff. Man, I got this old lady like me,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I'm doing her. She respected in the church, she active
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: in church ministries. Now he just disamoved for him. This
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: all ego, that organ and got him a lot of play,
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: and he don't know how to walk away from nothing.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: So now y'all in argan. You then you went to
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: your husband, and instead of comforting you and understanding your pain,
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: he took your mother's side and told you to mind
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: your business. He said, your mama could date whoever she
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: he want to. Now, this is stupid. The only reason
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: he's saying this because it ain't his mama. You know,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: goodn't here well this was his. Well, it couldn't be
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: my mama because because we wouldn't have an organ plant
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: to child, because sitting I'd be in a stump out.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: Have made him make a fix and out of stomp
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: both his heads, I broke all his fingers on his
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: hand up my mama, dog, I'm not fit to ask
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you to stop seeing her. I'm gonna fix it where
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: you can't see it. No more so the dude he
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: wronged for that because the shoe on the other foot,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: he'd act differently, So he should be a little bit
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: more understanding of your pain. But then I think the
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: two of you need to sit down and work through that.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: He'd tell you being jealous about a young boyfriend. Every
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: time I was bringing up he's saying, I'm bothered by
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: it because you're jealous. I can't believe my husbanould go
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: there and be so be that petty nomads with him
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: and my mama. Everything's gone bad. I don't know what
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: to do. How can I make things right with my
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: mother first, then my husband. First of all, you make
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: it right with your mom about what Sherley said. Get
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: out of it. This is gonna play out. This ain't
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: gonna last long. He don't want huck. This boy thirty
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: one years old, he probably want kids one day. Ain't
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: fit there. Your mama's seven. He don't won't huck. This
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: is a phase for both of them. He doing her
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: cause he can. It's a power move for him, and
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: it's an empowerment move for her because it's making her
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: feel like, Wow, somebody this year wants me. She just
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: stroking her own damn ego, because ain't everybody's seven at
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: the church is decrepit. As soon as a nice thirty
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: some year old come into the church and he looked
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: at her, he gonna walk away from your mom. Let
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: it play herself out. I know this is hard for you.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: Go to your husband, Tell your husband, hey, man, tell
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: him I don't want you to say Steve said, but
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: damn dog, if the shoe on the other foot, how
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: would you just ask him that? Just I just need
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: your support on this a little bit. If this was
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: your mother, what would you do because ain't no dude,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: from the Golden Saday go with his air all right,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: Steve good advice. Post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: at Steve Harvey FM on Instagram and Facebook. Check out

- 1:05:28Speaker 1: y N. She's an author. She's a reality TV star
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: from Married to Medicine. Please, Doctor Jackie Walters will be
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: our special guest right after this you're listening morning show. Hey, look, everybody,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: as promise we got a special guest today. She's been
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: a practicing ob GYN for over two decades and you've
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: known her. She's got thousands of fans. It's doctor Jackie
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: from Bravo's hit show Married to Medicine. Now Altho. She
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: has a full schedule with office visits, she delivers babies
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: doing the TV show. Uh. Doctor Jackie has written her
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: first book and it's appropriately titled Queen V. Thank you,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: Thank you Lord for the Queen V. Yeah. The book
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: is a guy to help women have a happy and
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: healthy vagina. Yes, okay, let's find out more. Please, Welcome
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: to the show, doctor Jackie Walters, good morning, first time
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: on the show, right, doctor Jackie, Yes, first time on
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: the show, but I listened to it every day. Well,
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: thank you so much, and welcome, welcome, welcome. We're happy
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: to have you, and thank you for this book. The
- 1:06:46Speaker 1: queen be yea yeah, So okay, So let's just let's
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: just kick it off right here. You cover everything women
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: need to know about sex, about intemy, about vaginal healthcare.
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: Tell us more like Steve said about the book. Please.
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: So I've been practicing for years, and you know, I
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: would see patients and everybody's afraid to talk about it.
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Nobody really wants to talk about feminine health or sexual health,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: and so much so that women whisper in the room
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: and I often remind them nobody's in here but be
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: you and God. And so they're really afraid to talk
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: about their lady parts. And you know, it's so much
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: so we can't even say the word on TV and
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: in certain places. So I wanted to empower women not
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: only to speak about their feminie health, but also to
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: protect a part of their body that should be treated
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: like loyalty. So yes, yes, Queen, Well, we were growing
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: up doctor Jackie, we couldn't say it either. In our house.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: We had to call it pocketbook. Okay, I'm just saying,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: that's one of those words. Yeah, stuff like that, which
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: contributes to why so many of us are barres. And
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: I wanted to educate and empower women that they don't
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: have to be embarrassed about that really important part of
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: their body. Yeah, okay, you're you're so right, and henceforth
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: and forevermore. I'm in all right. In the book The
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Queen V. You answer questions about libido, about contraceptives, about fertility,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: other issues women are concerned about. I'm sure you got
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: all kinds of questions, like you said in your office. Surely,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: before we do that, let's go to break and come back. Okay,
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: all right, let's do that. We'll have more with doctor
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: Jackie Walters and her brand new book, The Queen V.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Right after this. You're listening, Hey, we're back, everybody, as promise,
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: our special guests today is a practicing obgy in for
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: two decades. She's doctor Jackie from Bravo's hit show Married
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: to Medicine. Now she has a book out Everybody that
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: we've been discussing this morning, and it's appropriately entire Queen V.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: And it's a guy to help women have a happy
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: and healthy vagina. Let's find out mare's what we've been doing.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: I want to just sell on a personal note that
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: I've dedicated a large part of my adult life to
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: this very for this book. In the book to Queen V,
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: which is in stories, now, you outline five distinct vaginal personalities.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: So let's go through them real quick. Okay, they are
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: the sanctified we're gonna keep from daytime. We're gonna keep
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: from daytime, so you know, all, yeah, yeah, so we
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: have And when I talk about personality, I'm not talking
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: about a true personality. It's how you respond to feminine
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: and sexual health. And so if I ask you a question,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: you would have the virgin mirrors, who's probably not going
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: to talk much at all about her feminine or sexual
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: health at all. And then you know, we have a
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: sanctified lady part and she's the type who a whisper
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: in the room, real religious about it and doesn't really
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: want to share much about it. Yeah yeah, yes, she's
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: kind hearted and reserved, but she's not gonna say too much.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: And then you have h yes and Mary, Yeah, and
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Mary Jane. She's your everyday girl Hello, probably say yes,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: She's gonna probably say very you know, well dependent classy
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: idealist speak when she talks about it. And then there's
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: your notorious VG. Been there, done that all Yes, Hi
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: Hotel after Dog in the park and yeah. So these
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: are the personalities that I used throughout the book to
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: kind of talk about how each woman or each personality
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: would respond to a different topic. Sanctified thing, the Virgin
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: Mary thing, Mary Jane than see Condriac and Notorious VG. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: and so I give a test in the book to
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: see where you fall. But what you do, realize that
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: you may be a little bit of this and a
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: whole lot of that. Okay, I've seen myself. Yeah yeah, yeah, yes,
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: and then crazy enough, your personality may change based on
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: the person you're hanging out with, and so yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: if you change partners, you may become more of a
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: notorious VH. You know, if you know, if you're hanging
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: out with the Deacon death Jam, come on, come on here, girl,
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: you better listen to the doctor Jack, you may be
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: more of a sanctified snatch where you're afraid to I mean,
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: sanctified Lady Park where you're you're saying it right. The
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: first time you do that, you're less likely to talk
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: about it out loud. Okay, well, I do want to
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: thank you for the book. We have to get a
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: little more serious now, though, doctor Jackie. You are a
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: two time breast cancer survivors. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: all praises to God. And you talk a lot about
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: your journey to healing and self empowerment in the Queen V.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: How important is your diet for vaginal and breast health?
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Super important because there are things that you can eat
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: again eat Shirley, and you will notice them again. For example,
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: there are certain women who don't break down certain oils
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: in fish, and so if you have a nice fish sandwich,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: you may notice it again when you go to the bathroom. Okay,
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: And so I gave some tips on things you could
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: eat that would make the Queen be very happy. You know, pineapples,
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: sunflower seeds, strawberries, and these are things that keeps the
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: Queen very fresh. Okay, all right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: in a serious part of the show. Yeah, why are
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: you all talking right now? It's about the Queen V. Right, yeah, Hey,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: hold on, doctor Jackie, hold on for a second. We'll
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: be right back, everybody with more from doctor Jackie Walters.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: You're listening. We're back with doctor Jackie Walters. And this
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: has been very enlightening. On a serious note to doctor
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: Walter's very enlightening. UM, I love this book. You talk
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: a lot about um, you know, unprotected sex, having unprotected
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: sets sex, you talk about sexually transmitted UH infections and diseases.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: I mean this book you have it all in here.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: You have about um, you know, menstruation, you have everything
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: there is to have about the Queen v in this book.
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: So I'm encouraging all women to pick this book up.
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: I really am. You talk about things like cysts and
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: skin tags everything, so please put it, pick it up
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: and educate yourself. All right, So doctor Jackie, before you go,
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: you have to tell us what is a designer vagina?
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: What is that? What do you mean come in all
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: shapes and sizes and what? I want women to know
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: that there is no perfect lady park and you're not
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: abnormal because you don't look like this person or like
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: that person. But you know, there are all types of
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: procedures out there now that we can do to rejuvenate
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: and revitalize. You know we can do what is that
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: It's very much like having a facial where we change
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: the pigment if you needed to exfoliate, moisturize so that
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: the queen is happy. Doctor Jackie, who love you so
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: much and we're thanking so much. The book can be
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: found where at Barnes and Noble. You can go to
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Amazon and get the book. If you go to the
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: real Doctor Jackie, click on in Instagram, it will take
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: you right there. Thank you so much, appreciate you. You're
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: listening to show. In today's entertainment news, actor Jesse Smalllett
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: was into a Chicago courtroom yesterday to answer for more
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: charges related to the hate crime he allegedly staged against
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: himself more than a year ago. He entered a not
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: guilty plea for each of the six felon accounts of
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: disorderly conduct he's charged with. Jesse was released on a
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: twenty thousand dollars bond. Judge James b Lynn told him, yeah,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: twenty thousand dollars bond. Judge James b Lynn told him,
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: you need to come back to court and you're required
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: to do so. Do you understand. Jesse nodded in response
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: he didn't speak, though his attorneys are claiming double jeopardy.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Experts say his case will likely go to trial. If
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: Smalleett is convicted on the fresh charges, he could face
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: up to three years in jail, community service, and a
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: find of up to twenty five thousand dollars. He don't want.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: I do not understand because didn't he wasn't he cleared
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: and he came back by the district attorney there. Yeah,
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: so see, I don't know how they're doing this. But
- 1:16:24Speaker 1: like I mean, Chicago, we got a lot of other problems.
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: This one feels personal. Thought. Oh, they're so mad at him, Yeah,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: they're real, man. The president himself is real mad. He
- 1:16:37Speaker 1: tweeted about it. He got other self. He needed to
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: be working exactly right now talking to somebody that's not
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: that's not presidential. So what he should be doing this not? Yeah,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: he's a dictator. He wants to tweet to sit out
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: of his case. Yeah, yes, but I mean for like
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: you say, though, but for him to tweet about this
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: particular case. But you know, if you say something bad
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: about him, he's gonna get you coming. But for the
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: fact that they one judge dismissed the charges or whatever
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: they did up there, and for him to be back
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: in court and for gonna be putting this much time
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: in it. We have a lot of problems in Chicago.
- 1:17:21Speaker 1: Jesse Smullett is not one of them. Now. I don't
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: know what Jesse Angele is with his Yeah, you know,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: they claiming double jeopardy, which is you cannot be tried
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: for the same crime twice. That's right, crime twice. But
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: I don't I don't know how they're gonna get away
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: with that. But because they look like they got some
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: new charges put out there. But I mean, man, come on, Chicago,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: we got other things to do. I know, a lot
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: of people mad at him, and you know the manpower
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: in the time that was wasted for the investigation. Yeah,
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, so it don't really look like it
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: was no people jumping on him. Well it is, you
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: made history. Truth be told, Steve. You know, I an
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: old two Africans with the mega hats ahold there too. Um,
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: they were there. They went to court two oh there. Yeah.
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: I mean, they didn't have anything to do with this,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: but they just showed up. Yeah. Coming up our last
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: break of the day and some closing remarks from the
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey. It's forty nine minutes after
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: the hour, right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: Here we are last break of the day. It's last
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: break up the day. I love that. It's been a
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: good day today. Wow. A lot of things going on
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: in the news too. We want to say thanks yet again,
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: once again to doctor Jackie Walter. She was our special
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: guest earlier. She wrote the book The Queen v It
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: is in stores now on Amazon. Please pick it up.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: Going to buy mine in person, picking mine up. It's
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: a great book. Yeah, but come on see if I
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: know you have some words of wisdom for us in
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: your closing remarks. You know, um, I was reading something
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: the other day that are really kind of struck struck
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: a chord in me. I want to share it with you.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: You know. It's the way that I uh, the little
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: jewels that I run across every now and then. It
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: kind of helped me along the way. I think that
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: we're all in this world trying to be successful and
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: trying to be happy. I think those are the two
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: major components that drives us. There's the reason we go
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: to work every day. It's the reason we get married.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: It's the reason we sit down and counsel our children,
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: as the reason we go to churches, the reason we
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: we have a consciousness, the reason we try to do better.
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: It's the reason we try to improve our seals. Everything
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: is the reason we get educated. It's everything we're trying
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: to become happier and more successful. Those are the two things.
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: So every now and then, man, something comes along that
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: I see that kind of inspires me. I wanted to
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: talk to you about one of them. Today. Somebody sent
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: me something today. They didn't send it. I found. I
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: have a motivational section in my photo album. I keep
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: in all my photo albums. Every now and then, when
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: I run across an inspirational's phrase or inspirational picture, or
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: meme or scripture or something from a daily devotional or
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: something from a book like Strong and Courageous, I take
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: a picture of it and then I put it. When
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: it goes in my photos, I put it in. I
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: make a section called motivation, and every now and then, man,
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: I just go through my motivational photo album just to
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: you know, keep myself encourage. Sometimes. Today I was going
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: through it and this is what I read. It said.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: It's not the load that breaks you down, it's the
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: way you carry it. It's not the load that breaks
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: you down, it's the way you carry it. And this
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: resonates with me. That's why I took a picture of it,
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: because it's so meaningful to me as I learned how
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: the Lord's Prayer was really set up. Now, look, I'm
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: not an expert at analyzing the Bible by any stretch
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: of the imagination. Please no, I'm not. But there are
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: things that strike a chord in me for certain reasons.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: And one of the ways that this struck a chord
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: with me, again, it's not the load that breaks you down,
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: it's the way you carry It's because the Lord's Prayer says,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: give us this day our daily bread. I was reading
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: somewhere that explain the Lord's prayer to me, and what
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: really struck the chord in me was the best way
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: to live your life is by asking God just what
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: the Lord's Prayer states, to give us this day our
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: daily bread. See it. We are only built to handle
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: life in twenty four hour increments. The past, we can't
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: do anything about its history. It's gone. It's a wash.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: You don't get dueovers. And then the future is unknown.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: You can make plans, you can have dreams and aspirations
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: for the future and goals, but you're not supposed to
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: worry or concern yourself with the future to the point
- 1:22:57Speaker 1: that it worries you. Because you can weary yourself into
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: high blood pressure, you can weary yourself into sickness, you
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: can weary yourself into a heart attack. Your body can
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: fail a lot of ways because of the way you're
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: carrying the load. It's not the load that breaks you down,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: it's the way you carry it. So instead of trying
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: to handle everything yourself, there is a weapon available to
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: everybody called prayer. That is a communication with your creator
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: that will lessen the load. You don't have to take
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: all of this on yourself. You're worrying about something. I
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: can't tell you how many times I've said, when I
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: get to this meeting next week, I'm gonna say this,
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: I'm gonna say that, I'm gonna say this, and i'm
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: gonna say that, and if they say this, then I
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: say that, and if they say that, then I'm gonna
- 1:23:54Speaker 1: say this. And then I get to the meeting, and
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: don't none of that gets said, not a single word
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: of it. And i'dn't set up here and worried myself
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: about something in the future, when I could have easily said, God,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: go with me today, Give us this day our daily bread.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Show me what to say today. Make you make your
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: thoughts my thoughts, temper my words. Help me be anxious
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: for nothing. Allow me to be patience and here and
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: say the things you want me to hear and say.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: That's how you carry the load. That's how you get
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: better at it. You don't sit up in here and
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: worry yourself to death about the future and over concern
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: yourself about the past. Man, let some of that stuff go.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: That past belongs to history. The future belongs to God.
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: The gift that God gave you is right now. That's
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: why they call it the present. That's his gift to you,
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: is the present. Give us this day our daily bread.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: It's not the load that breaks you down, it's the
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: way you carry it. Stop carrying unnecessary weight when you
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: are not equipped for it in the first place. Those
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: are my closing remarks. Yo, have a great day and
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: have a wonderful weekend. Yeah, thank you, all right for all.
