- 0:00Speaker 1: But I never want to hurt our farmers. Our farmers
- 0:03Speaker 1: are great people.
- 0:04Speaker 2: They keep us happy and healthy. In fact, you're listening
- 0:08Speaker 2: to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Good Saturday morning to you, Ben Ferguson with you, and
- 0:14Speaker 3: these are some of the stories that you may have
- 0:16Speaker 3: missed that we talked about this week on the forty
- 0:18Speaker 3: seven Morning Update. First up, in a shocking move, a
- 0:22Speaker 3: major TV network is now helping warn individuals where ICE
- 0:28Speaker 3: agents are so that they can get away from being
- 0:31Speaker 3: held accountable for breaking our laws. Who's doing it? We'll
- 0:35Speaker 3: expose that coming up as well. Also, what made it
- 0:39Speaker 3: into the bill that is now headed back to the
- 0:42Speaker 3: House from the Senate. I break it all down for
- 0:45Speaker 3: you and I'll have all those details for you about
- 0:48Speaker 3: exactly what made it in this bill in just a moment.
- 0:51Speaker 3: And finally, we also now know that the President saying
- 0:54Speaker 3: it's time for the FED chair Jerome Powell to be
- 0:56Speaker 3: gone to resign, and he's got two or three choices
- 1:00Speaker 3: to replace the FED chairman, which could save Americans literally
- 1:05Speaker 3: trillions of dollars in interests. I'll give you those details
- 1:09Speaker 3: in a moment. It's the forty seven morning update and
- 1:12Speaker 3: it starts right now.
- 1:13Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 1:14Speaker 3: The media yet again putting ICE agents lives at risk,
- 1:19Speaker 3: this time CNN featuring a segment on ice Block. It
- 1:24Speaker 3: is an app that lets users anonymously crowd source ICE
- 1:29Speaker 3: agents sidings across a mapp and send alerts to others
- 1:33Speaker 3: within a five mile radius. Now, the app's creator framed
- 1:37Speaker 3: as a quote harmless early warning system to help people
- 1:41Speaker 3: avoid ICE, not to incite violence against the agents. Ice
- 1:46Speaker 3: Block enforces constraints, they claim as well, one post every
- 1:51Speaker 3: five minutes, auto deletion after four hours, and explicitly recommends
- 1:55Speaker 3: users not interfere with officers. That's their get out a
- 2:00Speaker 3: jail free card. Apparently. The White House Press Secretary Caroline
- 2:03Speaker 3: Levitt accusing CNN of encouraging violence by publicizing the app,
- 2:08Speaker 3: especially amid a reported five hundred percent surge in assaults
- 2:13Speaker 3: on ICE agents nationwide. The acting ICE Director called CNN's
- 2:18Speaker 3: coverage quote reckless and irresponsible, warning that it paints a
- 2:22Speaker 3: target on federal law enforcement officers. Backs and Tom Homan,
- 2:27Speaker 3: the former ICE Director, and the current borders are branded
- 2:31Speaker 3: the app is simply disgusting, and urge the DOJ to
- 2:34Speaker 3: investigate CNN's role in all of this. I want you
- 2:38Speaker 3: to hear more of what Tom Holman had to say
- 2:41Speaker 3: on Fox News Channel about this.
- 2:44Speaker 1: Well, this next story is outrageous. A new iPhone app
- 2:47Speaker 1: is a learning people about ice sightings in their area.
- 2:51Speaker 1: As if that's not bad enough, CNN it appears to
- 2:53Speaker 1: be promoting the app, talking to the creator and doing
- 2:56Speaker 1: a whole story on him that is not sitting well
- 2:59Speaker 1: with my name borders our time home and joins me. Now, Tom,
- 3:04Speaker 1: they've crossed the line here. This is out of control.
- 3:08Speaker 4: I know. It's just simply disgusting, and any network that
- 3:10Speaker 4: covers that is disgusting as well. So I'm hoping DOJ
- 3:13Speaker 4: steps in here and see if they cross side line
- 3:15Speaker 4: and I'm impeding federal law enforcement ofshiers. Look, Lawrence, you're
- 3:18Speaker 4: not talking about this pasult again. SIS is up over
- 3:21Speaker 4: five percent. Now you've got an app that's going to
- 3:24Speaker 4: tell where ice operators are going to be. It's only
- 3:26Speaker 4: a matter of time where ice ages are ambushed by
- 3:29Speaker 4: some nut like we're happening in LA throwing them out
- 3:31Speaker 4: top cocktail, throwing bricks, and these officers, this is just
- 3:34Speaker 4: this is just disgusting at every level. So I hope
- 3:37Speaker 4: DOJ dives in this deeply because you know, Ice is
- 3:40Speaker 4: constant on public safety threats and national security threads. This
- 3:43Speaker 4: shouldn't be a partisan issue. There shouldn't be an issue
- 3:45Speaker 4: anybody's is against. So they're already a dangerous jibe going
- 3:49Speaker 4: after the worst and worst. These guys are putting their
- 3:51Speaker 4: lives on the line every day, going after the worst
- 3:53Speaker 4: and worst internationalecurity threat, and this app makes it that
- 3:56Speaker 4: much more dangerous. It's it's incredible that those who force law,
- 4:00Speaker 4: all of a sudden, they're the bad guys you wanted
- 4:02Speaker 4: to break the law. They're victims. It's disgusting. Why was
- 4:05Speaker 4: seeing INN promote this? Why would they do a story
- 4:07Speaker 4: on this? I can't figure it out. I've look I've
- 4:10Speaker 4: been doing this for four decades. I've never seen anything
- 4:12Speaker 4: like this in my life. You know, it's got to
- 4:14Speaker 4: be they hate Trump more than love law enforcement or
- 4:17Speaker 4: I can't figure it out, but something needs to be done.
- 4:20Speaker 4: I mean, you advertise this guy's app on a national
- 4:24Speaker 4: TV network, This is going to bring more followers, sick
- 4:27Speaker 4: followers to the app and use it again, letting the
- 4:30Speaker 4: bad guy no Ice is coming. They're here. Here's where
- 4:34Speaker 4: they're going next. This is dangerous for the men and
- 4:37Speaker 4: women law enforcement.
- 4:39Speaker 1: So true, Tom, I want to.
- 4:40Speaker 3: Get Tom Homan clearly slamming CNN for promoting the ice
- 4:44Speaker 3: tracking app and now is saying maybe it's time for
- 4:47Speaker 3: law enforcement, the DOJ to step in here and see
- 4:50Speaker 3: if they cross the line impeding federal law enforcement officers
- 4:55Speaker 3: yet again, another example of how the Left is doing
- 4:58Speaker 3: everything they can to protect to legal immigrants and put
- 5:02Speaker 3: American lives at risk.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Next story number two.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Now you may be asking yourself what is actually in
- 5:10Speaker 3: this bill that has left the Senate. Let me give
- 5:13Speaker 3: you that list because it's an important one. Number one,
- 5:17Speaker 3: this bill delivers the largest tax cut in history of
- 5:20Speaker 3: the United States of America for middle and working class Americans.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Bigger paychecks of ten thousand dollars more in annual take
- 5:30Speaker 3: home pay for families as well, a massive campaign idea
- 5:35Speaker 3: is now reality. No tax on tips, which will expand
- 5:40Speaker 3: middle class America like we've never seen before. We also
- 5:44Speaker 3: are going to reward people that work hard with no
- 5:47Speaker 3: tax on overtime, incentivizing people to work more to get ahead,
- 5:53Speaker 3: and something that should have happened a long time ago.
- 5:57Speaker 3: No tax on social Security, giving more security to seniors,
- 6:03Speaker 3: especially when cost of living has skyrocketed. We also have
- 6:07Speaker 3: no tax on made and America auto loans. Let me
- 6:11Speaker 3: say that again, no tax on made in America auto loans,
- 6:16Speaker 3: which will help prop up American made automobiles and incentivize
- 6:20Speaker 3: Americans to look at America first. It will also help
- 6:24Speaker 3: with massive amounts of manufacturing jobs, keeping Americans working in manufacturing.
- 6:30Speaker 3: It also protects two million family farms from punitive double taxation,
- 6:36Speaker 3: something that's been a huge problem in this country. Permanent
- 6:40Speaker 3: increases to the child tax credit. Let me say that again,
- 6:45Speaker 3: permanent increases to the child tax credit, supporting over forty
- 6:50Speaker 3: million American families. Also, a vote against this bill is
- 6:54Speaker 3: a vote for the largest tax increase in history, something
- 6:58Speaker 3: that Republicans did a very good job of selling to
- 7:00Speaker 3: the American people. It also, in this bill rescinded billions
- 7:05Speaker 3: in green news scam funding, which Doge and the Trump
- 7:10Speaker 3: administration had exposed in the last several months. It restores
- 7:15Speaker 3: fiscal sanity, slashing deficits by roughly two trillion dollars. Yes,
- 7:21Speaker 3: there are many in the House that want more than that,
- 7:23Speaker 3: and we'll have to see what happens moving forward. We
- 7:26Speaker 3: also know that this bill eliminated waste, fraud, and abuse
- 7:30Speaker 3: from the bloated federal programs that we have now been
- 7:34Speaker 3: exposing through DOGE and permanently securing our southern and northern borders,
- 7:41Speaker 3: something the President said needed to be in this bill.
- 7:45Speaker 3: We also know that this bill deports at least one
- 7:48Speaker 3: million illegal aliens a year. Yes, that is also in
- 7:52Speaker 3: the bill, and it makes the largest investment in border
- 7:56Speaker 3: security in an entire generation, providing nearly one hundred and
- 8:01Speaker 3: fifty billion to secure our border and also to deport
- 8:06Speaker 3: illegal aliens, which the American people voted for. The bill
- 8:10Speaker 3: also includes finishing Phase two of the border wall, something
- 8:15Speaker 3: Donald Trump campaigned on back all the way in twenty sixteen,
- 8:19Speaker 3: and it shifts the cost of adjudication in the immigration
- 8:24Speaker 3: system from the American taxpayer to the illegal aliens. We
- 8:29Speaker 3: also know that we're hiring it because of this bill,
- 8:33Speaker 3: hiring ten thousand new ice agents, more than five thousand
- 8:39Speaker 3: customs officers, and more than three thousand new border patrol agents,
- 8:45Speaker 3: yet again sending a message to the cartels and terrorists
- 8:49Speaker 3: that you don't want to try to sneak in to
- 8:50Speaker 3: the United States of America or ship your drugs into
- 8:54Speaker 3: this country, because we're coming for you. There's also funds
- 8:59Speaker 3: for the goal Golden Dome Missile Defense System to confront
- 9:03Speaker 3: the twenty first century threats, something the President and the
- 9:07Speaker 3: DoD talked about extensively with the American people. We know
- 9:11Speaker 3: that we need to put America first when it comes
- 9:13Speaker 3: to our national security, and that's exactly why the funds
- 9:17Speaker 3: were included in this bill for the Golden Dome Missile
- 9:20Speaker 3: Defense System. We also know the bill delivers the largest
- 9:24Speaker 3: coast guard upgrade since World War Two. Why are we
- 9:28Speaker 3: doing that? Because that's where the fetinyl is coming into
- 9:31Speaker 3: this country and the criminal cartels are clearly exploiting our
- 9:35Speaker 3: open seas. Now we will have the largest coastguard upgrade
- 9:40Speaker 3: that we've had since World War Two, something that needed
- 9:43Speaker 3: to happen decades ago. Finally, the bill modernized our military
- 9:49Speaker 3: to ensure it has the resources to be ready and
- 9:53Speaker 3: encourages a lethal fighting force after four years of weakness
- 9:57Speaker 3: by the Biden administration. We follow behind China, but ninety longer.
- 10:02Speaker 3: It also ends Biden's war on American energy and drives
- 10:08Speaker 3: down energy costs, something that was important in this bill
- 10:11Speaker 3: to make sure that we as a nation are in
- 10:14Speaker 3: fact energy independent, something that the prior administration did everything
- 10:18Speaker 3: they could to make sure that we were weak as
- 10:21Speaker 3: a nation. And it also unleashes domestic oil, domestic gas,
- 10:27Speaker 3: as well as nuclear power, restoring what made America great
- 10:32Speaker 3: all along, the ability to function without relying on Middle
- 10:36Speaker 3: Eastern countries or anyone else that's producing oil around the world,
- 10:40Speaker 3: including places like Russia. So if you want to know
- 10:44Speaker 3: what's in this America first, this big, this beautiful bill,
- 10:49Speaker 3: well here's what's in it. Now it moves back to
- 10:52Speaker 3: the House and hopefully it will be moving within days
- 10:56Speaker 3: to the President's desk.
- 10:58Speaker 2: And here is story number three.
- 11:00Speaker 3: We also know this. The President is also moving on
- 11:04Speaker 3: to other major issues. For example, Donald Trump is calling
- 11:10Speaker 3: for the Fed Chair Powell to quit quote immediately. Trump
- 11:15Speaker 3: is ramping up the pressure on Powell, urging lower interest
- 11:19Speaker 3: rates against the Federal Reserve Chair's continued opposition the president
- 11:24Speaker 3: making it clear that it's time for him to quote resign.
- 11:28Speaker 3: In a true Social post on Wednesday in the late afternoon,
- 11:32Speaker 3: Trump said too late, should resign immediately. He also linked
- 11:37Speaker 3: to a Bloomberg story headline that says FED chair should
- 11:40Speaker 3: be investigated by Congress. The FHSA head is now saying
- 11:47Speaker 3: Powell was nominated by Trump to lead the FED during
- 11:50Speaker 3: the first administration. Joe Biden, who succeeded Trump as President,
- 11:54Speaker 3: nominated him for a second term. His tenure as the
- 11:57Speaker 3: FED chair is set to end of twenty twenty six,
- 12:02Speaker 3: and Trump is ramping up pressure, saying I don't want
- 12:06Speaker 3: to wait on Jerome Powell's tenure to end, issuing a
- 12:10Speaker 3: call for lower interest rates against the Federal Reserve Chair
- 12:14Speaker 3: and continued opposition and calling out the failure of the
- 12:18Speaker 3: Fed's monetary policy. For instance, earlier this week, Donald Trump
- 12:24Speaker 3: posted this, Jerome too late. Powell and his entire board
- 12:29Speaker 3: should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this to happen
- 12:32Speaker 3: in the United States of America. They have one of
- 12:35Speaker 3: the easiest yet most prestigious jobs in America, and they've failed,
- 12:40Speaker 3: and they continue to do so, saying this, If they
- 12:43Speaker 3: were doing their job properly, our country would be saving
- 12:46Speaker 3: trillions of dollars in interest costs. The board just sits
- 12:51Speaker 3: there and watches, so they are equally to blame. We
- 12:55Speaker 3: should be paying one percent interest or better now The
- 12:58Speaker 3: post preceded Trump's letter to Powell urging him to lower
- 13:02Speaker 3: interest rates. The White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt told
- 13:05Speaker 3: reporters on Monday. Pallis stated that the Fed's decision to
- 13:09Speaker 3: hold off on dropping your interest rates owes much to
- 13:13Speaker 3: concern about the possible impacts of quote tariffs on inflation
- 13:19Speaker 3: that coming from CBS News Now reports say he's waiting
- 13:23Speaker 3: to see how the Trump tearor policy quote plays out
- 13:26Speaker 3: and what it ultimately does to the US economy before
- 13:30Speaker 3: making interest rate adjustments. Powell has specifically said he wants
- 13:35Speaker 3: to see longer term impacts, if any, on consumer pricing.
- 13:41Speaker 3: So I tell you that story to just make it
- 13:44Speaker 3: very clear there could be some big changes coming very soon.
- 13:47Speaker 3: But it also tells you about the confidence that the
- 13:50Speaker 3: President has that by the time many of you hear this,
- 13:54Speaker 3: he will already have the biggest tax cut that we've
- 13:57Speaker 3: seen in our lifetime and turn it into a reality.
- 14:02Speaker 3: So what does that mean moving forward, Well, it means
- 14:05Speaker 3: we could see some pretty big changes here. The President
- 14:09Speaker 3: even moving forward to say there are quote two or
- 14:12Speaker 3: three choices to replace the FED chairman and saying on Tuesday, yes,
- 14:17Speaker 3: I'm ready to go. When asked to board Air Force
- 14:20Speaker 3: one whether he has a top choice to succeed your
- 14:23Speaker 3: own Powell, Trump said exactly this, I have two or
- 14:27Speaker 3: three top choices. He declined to give any further information,
- 14:31Speaker 3: yet again showing how much Donald Trump's ready to move on.
- 14:35Speaker 3: We also know that The Wall Street Journal reported last
- 14:38Speaker 3: week that Trump is considering the former FED Governor Kevin
- 14:42Speaker 3: Walsh and National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett as replacements. Also,
- 14:49Speaker 3: Treasury Secretary of Scott descent is also being pitched as
- 14:52Speaker 3: a potential candidate that according to The Wall Street Journal, which
- 14:56Speaker 3: also listed former World Bank President and FED Governor Christopher
- 15:01Speaker 3: Waller as potential nominees. Now courting the Wall Street Journal,
- 15:05Speaker 3: Trump is toyed with the idea of selecting and announcing
- 15:08Speaker 3: a replacement as early as September or October. However, the
- 15:13Speaker 3: sent told Bloomberg TV on Monday that the Trump administration
- 15:16Speaker 3: is considering using the next expected Federal Reserve Border governor's
- 15:20Speaker 3: vacancy in early twenty twenty six to appoint a successor.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Now since returned to the White House in January, Trump
- 15:27Speaker 3: has criticized Powell, as well as other Fed governors for
- 15:31Speaker 3: declining not to lower interest rates, which are currently in
- 15:35Speaker 3: the four point twenty five to four point five zero range.
- 15:38Speaker 3: FED chairs have long seen as insulated from presidential dismissal
- 15:43Speaker 3: for reasons other than malfeasan's or misconduct. That Trump is
- 15:47Speaker 3: threatened to test the legal premise with frequent threats to
- 15:51Speaker 3: fire Jerome Powell now Supreme Court ruling in May by
- 15:56Speaker 3: the way, he's concerns that Trump could fire Powell, as
- 16:00Speaker 3: the Justice called the FED quote a uniquely structured quasi
- 16:05Speaker 3: private entity. So that leaves us at this point where
- 16:09Speaker 3: the president's clearly saying he believes Jerome Power on this
- 16:13Speaker 3: board are the wrong people for the job, and he
- 16:15Speaker 3: wants to move as quickly as possible to move the
- 16:18Speaker 3: country in the right direction. He also has made it
- 16:21Speaker 3: clear that lower interest rates save you countless dollars in interests,
- 16:26Speaker 3: something that's good he believes for the economy. So if
- 16:30Speaker 3: you want to know what's happening right now at the
- 16:33Speaker 3: White House, it's pretty clear the present's getting ready for
- 16:36Speaker 3: a very big Fourth of July celebration, and it's one
- 16:40Speaker 3: that is going to give you a huge advantage in
- 16:44Speaker 3: your pocket book and He's not done there. He's also
- 16:47Speaker 3: now looking to lower interest rates for you as well,
- 16:51Speaker 3: and that is exactly what the America First Agenda that
- 16:54Speaker 3: Donald Trump promised you looks like as we go into
- 16:58Speaker 3: the fourth of July.
