- 0:12Speaker 4: Don't give a.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Million bus bussy.
- 0:21Speaker 5: Steve listening to.
- 0:28Speaker 1: To I don't joy?
- 0:50Speaker 5: Yeah, joy, they have shot.
- 0:59Speaker 1: You got to do that, you love, You.
- 1:24Speaker 5: Gotta turn, got to turn the most turn.
- 1:43Speaker 1: You probably got to turn mouth, turn out a wad
- 1:47Speaker 1: of the Moneygapo loo.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Come come on, you'll think that.
- 2:01Speaker 2: H I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 6: You're listening to the voice, Come on, dig me now,
- 2:08Speaker 6: one and only Steve Harvey. I got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 6: Real grateful for that. You know, it's funny. I remember
- 2:14Speaker 6: when I first started out in the radio, A lot
- 2:17Speaker 6: of my peers laughed at me. Some of it was
- 2:20Speaker 6: being mean spirited, some of it was just you know,
- 2:23Speaker 6: marcking me. I'm used to stuff like that. But I
- 2:27Speaker 6: had as a special guest on my show, Joe Oldstein,
- 2:30Speaker 6: and you know something, man, he says something that was
- 2:33Speaker 6: I can't remember the scripture. I don't know exactly how
- 2:36Speaker 6: it were like we were having a long conversation, but
- 2:39Speaker 6: the gist of it was, don't be upset with where
- 2:42Speaker 6: you are now, and don't be upset with the small
- 2:44Speaker 6: things in your life. Be grateful for the small things
- 2:48Speaker 6: and the small position that you have right now, because
- 2:50Speaker 6: you don't know where that's going. You don't know what
- 2:53Speaker 6: that's gonna be one day. You don't know what that's
- 2:54Speaker 6: gonna lead to. And that was very warming to hear
- 2:58Speaker 6: him say that. But it also reminded me of when
- 3:01Speaker 6: I started in radio, how small it was. It reminded
- 3:05Speaker 6: me of when I started in stand up making twenty
- 3:07Speaker 6: five dollars a show. It reminds me of not having
- 3:12Speaker 6: a home at a period in my life and what
- 3:15Speaker 6: God has allowed me to live in now. So don't
- 3:19Speaker 6: be distraught over your position now, and don't be ungrateful
- 3:24Speaker 6: or unappreciative for the things you have now because you
- 3:27Speaker 6: don't know what that's going to grow into. And that's
- 3:29Speaker 6: really the gist of that I got from what he
- 3:31Speaker 6: was saying. I just wanted to share that with you,
- 3:33Speaker 6: that where you are now is so temporary because now,
- 3:37Speaker 6: like I've said before, now is a fleeting moment. Right
- 3:40Speaker 6: after you finish saying now, that moment that you claimed
- 3:44Speaker 6: as now, that's gone. So the where you are now
- 3:48Speaker 6: is a very fleeting process. Now you can change where
- 3:51Speaker 6: you are now, and you can change how you feel
- 3:55Speaker 6: about where you're at now, and you can change about
- 3:58Speaker 6: where you're going by simply changing your mind.
- 4:02Speaker 2: It is no difference.
- 4:03Speaker 6: I'm telling you, folks, the thing that I've learned about
- 4:07Speaker 6: successful people is not so much of what they do.
- 4:11Speaker 6: It's not what they have. The biggest thing I've learned
- 4:14Speaker 6: about successful people is how they think. That's the thing
- 4:19Speaker 6: that's different. It's how they think. And I'm telling you
- 4:23Speaker 6: that you can change the way you think on any
- 4:26Speaker 6: subject and start becoming successful towards that. Starting now, you
- 4:33Speaker 6: have to understand that. Man, the biggest difference I've noticed
- 4:37Speaker 6: between successful people and non successful people is how they think.
- 4:42Speaker 6: I was reading what is God said that he was
- 4:46Speaker 6: taught all wrong about money. He said that his father
- 4:50Speaker 6: was very negative about money. He all throughout his life
- 4:53Speaker 6: he heard his father say, you know, people who got
- 4:56Speaker 6: money have walked on somebody to get it, or cheated
- 4:59Speaker 6: somebody to get it. People who have money, money is
- 5:02Speaker 6: the root of all evil. Money is money is this,
- 5:05Speaker 6: And people who got money, you know, don't deserve it.
- 5:09Speaker 6: They've done something wrong to get it.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Y'a to y'all.
- 5:11Speaker 6: So he said, he grew up the whole time thinking
- 5:14Speaker 6: that having money was something was wrong with that. He
- 5:17Speaker 6: discovered that it wasn't. Look you can choose to be
- 5:20Speaker 6: successful anywhere you want to. I've chosen several ways to
- 5:23Speaker 6: be successful. I want to be a very, very successful father.
- 5:27Speaker 6: I think that's one of the things that's paramount in
- 5:30Speaker 6: my life that I really am working hard right now
- 5:34Speaker 6: to become a successful father. Not a successful father in
- 5:38Speaker 6: terms of money, but a successful father in terms of
- 5:42Speaker 6: offering the amount of love and guidance and leadership and
- 5:46Speaker 6: the example that my children need to look at. And
- 5:50Speaker 6: that's what I'm really really working hard at now. I
- 5:52Speaker 6: want to be successful as a father, but also I
- 5:55Speaker 6: want to be successful as a husband.
- 5:57Speaker 3: You know.
- 5:58Speaker 6: I want Marjorie to always know that she can count
- 6:00Speaker 6: on me, to not have to wonder about me or
- 6:03Speaker 6: look for me, you know. I want her to feel
- 6:06Speaker 6: secure in the fact that I really have gotten it right,
- 6:11Speaker 6: that I really am focused on being a good husband
- 6:14Speaker 6: to her because it means so much to me, you know.
- 6:17Speaker 6: So I'm working hard on a lot of levels. I'm
- 6:20Speaker 6: working hard. I'm trying very strong to be a successful
- 6:24Speaker 6: motivator of people. I want to be a share of
- 6:27Speaker 6: information to people that will uplift others and give others
- 6:30Speaker 6: the same things that I've learned through the trials and
- 6:34Speaker 6: tribulations of my life. But at the same time share
- 6:37Speaker 6: that information and use the power of this microphone to
- 6:41Speaker 6: uplift people, you know, not to destroy. My show is
- 6:44Speaker 6: not about Oh, guess what so and so said? Guess
- 6:46Speaker 6: what so and so did. I don't like mean spirited
- 6:49Speaker 6: things about people, you know. I joke with people who
- 6:51Speaker 6: calling this that's another thing. But I don't like destroying
- 6:54Speaker 6: people with the power of the microphone. So I'm working
- 6:57Speaker 6: very hard on being successful in a lot of areas
- 6:59Speaker 6: of my life now. Also I do care about being
- 7:01Speaker 6: financially successful too, because my father. One of the gifts
- 7:06Speaker 6: he gave me was very simple gift. He told me
- 7:08Speaker 6: a long time ago. He said, son, the best thing
- 7:11Speaker 6: you can do for poor people is not be one
- 7:14Speaker 6: of them.
- 7:15Speaker 2: And that stuck with me. And this was a hard
- 7:17Speaker 2: working man who was a coal miner who worked construction
- 7:21Speaker 2: his entire life. My father didn't have an easy life man.
- 7:25Speaker 2: My father didn't sit behind a microphone. My father didn't
- 7:28Speaker 2: come to work and people cheered for him. My father
- 7:31Speaker 2: wasn't famous.
- 7:32Speaker 6: My father was just a go get it dude that
- 7:36Speaker 6: he instilled that in me and I've taken that and
- 7:38Speaker 6: applied it to my craft and I thank God for
- 7:41Speaker 6: him for that. But I do try to be financially
- 7:44Speaker 6: successful so that I can do some things with it
- 7:46Speaker 6: to help some other people. Now, am I opposed to
- 7:50Speaker 6: having nice things?
- 7:51Speaker 7: No?
- 7:51Speaker 2: Do I apologize for having nice things?
- 7:54Speaker 7: No?
- 7:54Speaker 2: And why should I? I work?
- 7:56Speaker 6: You know, I'm not on the radio asking to give
- 8:00Speaker 6: me money, you know, so I can go buy a car.
- 8:04Speaker 6: I'm working, so I don't feel how you want to feel.
- 8:07Speaker 6: And other people do feel that way about it. But
- 8:09Speaker 6: if success in terms of finance is what you're lacking,
- 8:13Speaker 6: you can go about the business of doing that. I'm
- 8:16Speaker 6: writing a book and that whole book is about teaching
- 8:19Speaker 6: people how to become successful. And man, I'm breaking it
- 8:22Speaker 6: down in a way where everybody can get it, man,
- 8:25Speaker 6: because I want the college student to get it, you know,
- 8:28Speaker 6: I want the working mom to get it, the single
- 8:31Speaker 6: mom to get it. The hard working father that has
- 8:34Speaker 6: been trying to hold his family together can get it.
- 8:36Speaker 6: The father that ain't ever got it together and feel
- 8:39Speaker 6: that because of that reason he can't be the father
- 8:42Speaker 6: he needs to be. I'm writing something, man, to put
- 8:45Speaker 6: it into words, to let you know that God is
- 8:48Speaker 6: a forgiving God, and that God is a merciful God,
- 8:51Speaker 6: and that God can get you out of any situation
- 8:55Speaker 6: you find yourself in. You just can't beat yourself up
- 8:58Speaker 6: every time you make a mistake. I make mistakes all
- 9:01Speaker 6: the time, man, I just got to remind myself to
- 9:03Speaker 6: get up. I ask God for forgiveness, I call on
- 9:07Speaker 6: his mercy and his grace, and I get up and
- 9:09Speaker 6: I go again. But it's coming, man. And if finance
- 9:12Speaker 6: success is what you want, you got to change your mind.
- 9:15Speaker 6: You got to start thinking about how to produce it.
- 9:19Speaker 6: The first thing you do is you got to ask.
- 9:21Speaker 6: You got to ask to have a life and have
- 9:24Speaker 6: a life more abundantly. That's a scripture that He comes
- 9:28Speaker 6: to you to give you life and to give you
- 9:30Speaker 6: life more abundantly.
- 9:32Speaker 2: That's a scripture. That ain't a joke, that ain't a theory.
- 9:36Speaker 6: That's a fact, and the fact that if you don't
- 9:38Speaker 6: have a life of abundance, you can get that by asking.
- 9:41Speaker 6: Then it starts by believing. And how too, don't even
- 9:44Speaker 6: worry about that. He takes care of that himself. He'll
- 9:47Speaker 6: send the stuff your way. But you got to be
- 9:49Speaker 6: willing to put some effort in this thing now, and
- 9:51Speaker 6: you can do it.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Okay. I know I was a little around the place today,
- 9:54Speaker 2: but that's what it was. So you know, let's go
- 9:57Speaker 2: get it.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning.

- 10:22Speaker 2: Why am I decided to approach it like this?
- 10:24Speaker 6: I don't know, because there's a level of ignorance in
- 10:26Speaker 6: me that comes out from time to time and it's
- 10:29Speaker 6: very present right now. This is how we're gonna do
- 10:32Speaker 6: it this morning on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Ain't

- 12:46Speaker 2: sister's car to.

- 15:18Speaker 3: Sometime next week? Actually, Dorothy and I have had a conversation.
- 15:21Speaker 3: She let me know the things that you guys are
- 15:23Speaker 3: going through, and what she's trying to do is get
- 15:26Speaker 3: you to come in and actually take a lot of
- 15:27Speaker 3: detective's test next week. Excuse me, she would like for
- 15:30Speaker 3: you to come in and take a live of detective
- 15:32Speaker 3: test next week.
- 15:34Speaker 10: You want me to take a lot? This is what
- 15:36Speaker 10: she said.
- 15:37Speaker 3: This is what Dorothy has agreed upon. This is what
- 15:39Speaker 3: she wants to do, and she thinks it's going to
- 15:41Speaker 3: help the relationship.
- 15:42Speaker 10: I'm all about making a relationship work. But I'm not
- 15:45Speaker 10: taking a lot of tip. I'm sorry.
- 15:47Speaker 4: What's why?
- 15:48Speaker 10: What's what's the purpose for a lot of I ain't.
- 15:51Speaker 3: Is there is there anything that you're hiding.
- 15:53Speaker 10: Ken, I'm not hiding anything, But what's the purpose of
- 15:56Speaker 10: me taking a lot of take the test? If I ain't?
- 15:58Speaker 8: Did?
- 15:59Speaker 3: I mean?
- 16:00Speaker 10: This is something who who bright idea was this?
- 16:03Speaker 3: This is something that Dorothy wants to and you know,
- 16:05Speaker 3: put within the relationships. She wants you to take a
- 16:07Speaker 3: lot to take the tests.
- 16:09Speaker 10: Oh no, I'm not taking on about to take it,
- 16:10Speaker 10: bro I'm sorry.
- 16:11Speaker 3: I mean I am the one that suggested it to
- 16:14Speaker 3: her because it helps the relationship. So so so.
- 16:18Speaker 10: So you suggested to my wife that I take a
- 16:23Speaker 10: lot of ticket to tests. Why she's not taking a
- 16:25Speaker 10: lot of take a test?
- 16:26Speaker 3: Ken, I've heard everything that's going on with you guys, relationship.
- 16:29Speaker 10: No no, no, no no no no no no no.
- 16:32Speaker 10: I'm asking the question, why do I have to take
- 16:35Speaker 10: a lot of texture tests and she does not miss
- 16:38Speaker 10: the counselors.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Would you like for me to have her take a
- 16:40Speaker 2: test as well?
- 16:41Speaker 10: We both need to take a test. That's the case
- 16:43Speaker 10: that I'm not taking this.
- 16:44Speaker 11: On my own.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Is there any anything that you've done, Ken that you're
- 16:48Speaker 3: that you don't.
- 16:49Speaker 10: Bro, I haven't done anything. This is crazy, like it
- 16:53Speaker 10: doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
- 16:56Speaker 3: I can when when?
- 16:57Speaker 4: When? When?
- 16:57Speaker 10: When did y'all talk about this?
- 16:59Speaker 3: We had a common versation earlier today today today, sir,
- 17:02Speaker 3: I'm gonna have to call her because this don't make
- 17:04Speaker 3: no sense. But don't you have to be a zoom
- 17:07Speaker 3: zoom meeting or something.
- 17:08Speaker 10: Because she's not about to take no botter take the till.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Dorothy wants to start with a clean slate. And and
- 17:14Speaker 3: that's when I sai, I'm starting.
- 17:16Speaker 10: I'm starting with the what's your name again? I don't
- 17:18Speaker 10: call you the name. What's your name again?
- 17:20Speaker 3: My name is doctor Pritchell Pritcher.
- 17:21Speaker 4: Bro.
- 17:22Speaker 10: I'm not taking on you. You will take the lot
- 17:25Speaker 10: to take the test, but I'm not taking it. Okay,
- 17:28Speaker 10: I don't need to take no lot to take the tills. Okay,
- 17:31Speaker 10: but but don't you haven't done anything wrong, but now
- 17:34Speaker 10: my past thing is squeaky clean.
- 17:36Speaker 3: But I ain't taking no okay, but now that's now
- 17:40Speaker 3: it seems like you have something.
- 17:42Speaker 10: To hide, can't I'm not hiding nothing, Devin. I know
- 17:46Speaker 10: I'm not taking no lighter. Check their test, thir Okay.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Listen, if you're not, if you're not willing to take
- 17:51Speaker 3: the test, I have to go back to back that. Dorothy,
- 17:54Speaker 3: though you are not my you're not ready to have
- 17:58Speaker 3: a clean slate in this relationship.
- 18:00Speaker 10: I don't give what you say or do, but I'm
- 18:03Speaker 10: not taking a blood take it.
- 18:05Speaker 2: So, but Dorothy wants she can take one.
- 18:09Speaker 5: Now I'll take you.
- 18:10Speaker 10: If she wanted to take a test by all means,
- 18:12Speaker 10: take the something. But you know who not taking the

- 22:14Speaker 1: year's theme is workers over Billionaires. We'll talk about that.
- 22:19Speaker 1: So King Charles the Third and Queen Camilla visited at
- 22:23Speaker 1: the White House this week, and lots of people use
- 22:26Speaker 1: the internet to get their medical advice instead of going
- 22:29Speaker 1: to a real doctor. That's all coming up at the
- 22:32Speaker 1: top of the hour, but right now it is time
- 22:35Speaker 1: to ask the clo our Chief Love Officer, Steve Harvey.
- 22:39Speaker 1: This is from Faith in Memphis, Faith Rights. I messed
- 22:42Speaker 1: around with one of my dad's friends when I saw
- 22:45Speaker 1: him at my dad's birthday dinner. He was touchy feeley
- 22:49Speaker 1: in front of my parents. I told him to cut
- 22:51Speaker 1: it out, and he said he'll stop if I come
- 22:53Speaker 1: visit him. Why can't he accept that what we had
- 22:57Speaker 1: is over?
- 22:58Speaker 2: Uh, he don't want to. He don't want to accept.
- 23:01Speaker 2: He heard you say no. You said no before, but
- 23:04Speaker 2: you came over there the first time.
- 23:06Speaker 1: M Okay, that's it. There's nothing she can do to
- 23:10Speaker 1: get him to stop being all touchy feeling in front
- 23:13Speaker 1: of her parents.
- 23:14Speaker 6: Well, you can go and tell your daddy Dad, I'll stop.
- 23:20Speaker 6: I can't tell you what he's gonna start, but it'll stop.
- 23:22Speaker 1: That what's his name though? What's the who's name? Friend's friend?
- 23:29Speaker 1: Jerome in the house?
- 23:37Speaker 3: Okay, all right?
- 23:40Speaker 1: Moving on to Tijuana and Philly to wanna write to
- 23:43Speaker 1: My husband has started sleeping in his man cave. He
- 23:48Speaker 1: starts out in the bed with me and goes to
- 23:50Speaker 1: the basement around three a m. It wakes me up,
- 23:54Speaker 1: so I asked him to start sleeping in the other room.
- 23:57Speaker 1: He's offended. How did we how do we resolve this situation?
- 24:01Speaker 2: What I don't understand?
- 24:03Speaker 1: Yeah, he starts up at three am in the morning,
- 24:06Speaker 1: just go sleep in his man cave in the basement.
- 24:08Speaker 1: He starts out in the bed though.
- 24:11Speaker 2: With what going on? Yeah, And she's asked him to
- 24:15Speaker 2: just go sleep.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Where because it wakes her up. She said, why don't
- 24:19Speaker 1: you just go, you know, sleep in the other room.
- 24:23Speaker 1: He got the room. Yeah, but he got offended by that.
- 24:26Speaker 6: Well, if he's getting up at three am and it
- 24:28Speaker 6: wakes you up, what difference do it make if he
- 24:31Speaker 6: go in the other room or if he go down
- 24:33Speaker 6: in the.
- 24:33Speaker 1: In the basement basement. Yeah, they're both mad about the
- 24:39Speaker 1: wrong stuff. She's mad because it wakes her up, and
- 24:41Speaker 1: he gets up and then he's mad because she asked
- 24:44Speaker 1: him to sleep in the other room. That's kind of crazy.
- 24:49Speaker 6: Something in the basement is different than down Yeah, why
- 24:57Speaker 6: he don't want in that other room.
- 24:58Speaker 2: But it's okay to he get out to bed for
- 25:01Speaker 2: you though, I don't understand.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Yeah, for as far as he's concerned. Yeah, and then
- 25:05Speaker 1: he's offended. So how do they resolve it?
- 25:09Speaker 3: What do they do?
- 25:10Speaker 1: What's the solution here?
- 25:11Speaker 6: I'm not really sure, Yeah, that there is a solution
- 25:16Speaker 6: for them, because, like you say, Shirley, they're mad about
- 25:19Speaker 6: the wrong thing.
- 25:21Speaker 2: He don't.
- 25:23Speaker 6: He don't get up at three o'clock and move. Yeah,
- 25:27Speaker 6: she want him to move where she want him to
- 25:29Speaker 6: move to the other room. He won't go downstairs in
- 25:31Speaker 6: the basement. Some in the basement, yes, all right?
- 25:37Speaker 1: Moving on, moving on to al in Harlem, al Rights.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I met up with my side chick and she fell
- 25:46Speaker 1: getting out of the shower and hurt her ankle. I
- 25:50Speaker 1: called her sister to take her to get an X
- 25:52Speaker 1: ray because I couldn't go to the urgent care center
- 25:55Speaker 1: with her. She knows how this thing works, so why
- 25:58Speaker 1: is she mad about it?
- 26:00Speaker 2: You know, the wrong because you didn't go to the
- 26:02Speaker 2: urgent care wid him. But you know you can't go
- 26:05Speaker 2: down there.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Right because they gonna see you.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Yes, I have taken out of her. You got the
- 26:12Speaker 1: right thing.
- 26:13Speaker 3: He called your sister.
- 26:15Speaker 1: He did, yeah, he did that. At least you the
- 26:18Speaker 1: side chick. Yeah, it's clear now.
- 26:22Speaker 3: That you don't get Maine men. You treat me.
- 26:26Speaker 2: You don't get that.
- 26:28Speaker 3: I'm gonna get you this peroxide and the band aid.
- 26:31Speaker 3: And what is that gonna do?
- 26:33Speaker 1: You're another ankle?
- 26:35Speaker 3: Whatelse she hurt, peroxide, help everything whatever she hurts.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Oh, you've gone from calamine lotion to peroxide now your ankle.
- 26:46Speaker 2: And then we're gonna get on the body here.
- 26:48Speaker 1: All these old school remedies, tommy, because you can't go
- 26:52Speaker 1: to urgent can and they asked for your insurance right
- 26:56Speaker 1: And just like he said, though she know she knows
- 26:59Speaker 1: how this thing works, she does, but she still got mad.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Yeah she mad.
- 27:04Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 27:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:05Speaker 6: People know they decide chick, but they get mad about
- 27:08Speaker 6: being the side chick because you want to be the
- 27:10Speaker 6: main menu.
- 27:11Speaker 1: They act the three piece. Yep, that part, you're right
- 27:16Speaker 1: all right? Last one colo. This is from Onyx in Charlotte.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Onyx writes, I sell hair online and my mom and
- 27:24Speaker 1: my sisters expect me to give them bundles for free.
- 27:28Speaker 1: I told them from now on, I'll offer them a discount,
- 27:31Speaker 1: but they have to pay. All three of them have
- 27:34Speaker 1: stopped talking to me. Am I being petty for making
- 27:37Speaker 1: them pay me.
- 27:39Speaker 9: Well, I'm gonna give the head Yeah yeah, hello, okay yo, Mama,
- 27:45Speaker 9: No you can't have anything, mom, no, yeah yeah.
- 27:51Speaker 6: These cousins sisters just cc brion all y'all, we're gonna
- 28:03Speaker 6: need some money. I got be is going on.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it seems like that's all she have to say.
- 28:09Speaker 1: But exclude her mom from that. Just give it to
- 28:11Speaker 1: her mom. A lot of people need hair, yeah, Junior, Yeah,
- 28:18Speaker 1: you do this to yourself.
- 28:21Speaker 6: Junior realized, did you say by took their hat off?
- 28:30Speaker 2: You see all that shine on his forehead, half anywhere?
- 28:33Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, I do it to myself.
- 28:35Speaker 1: But he's getting your haircut. It's yeah, he just like one.
- 28:39Speaker 5: Right my hair?
- 28:40Speaker 1: What's Friday?
- 28:43Speaker 3: Said?
- 28:44Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 28:44Speaker 1: Yeah, when did you go to the barbershop?
- 28:46Speaker 3: Junior?
- 28:46Speaker 1: Was it Wednesday?
- 28:47Speaker 4: Oh?
- 28:48Speaker 2: Yeah, well when yeah?
- 28:49Speaker 3: Yeah, Look look at his hand.
- 28:52Speaker 1: How much that come? You could have went to that
- 29:00Speaker 1: too much?

- 29:07Speaker 1: You could have taken all of us there for forty
- 29:12Speaker 1: but no, Junior, it don't look good. I see it's
- 29:16Speaker 1: on the side.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Don't look good. Turn to the We won't see nothing.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I see, I see your line. I see it.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Now you see you see the side?
- 29:27Speaker 1: Yeah you bet.
- 29:29Speaker 6: Y'allah asked George Jefferson to be in his head.
- 29:33Speaker 1: Now, who is George Jefferson Junior? Is George Jefferson? Shermanham,
- 29:40Speaker 1: that's what you're saying. He rocking to Georgia.
- 29:43Speaker 3: What was you doing things?
- 29:47Speaker 12: Don't burn on the grind to go a whole lot
- 29:51Speaker 12: of try it now you up in the big league.
- 29:59Speaker 2: I'm just gonna your turn at back.
- 30:02Speaker 1: You're gonna get it off.
- 30:03Speaker 6: Ain't nothing I'm gonna since you stop wearing your hat.
- 30:13Speaker 6: Airlines gone.
- 30:16Speaker 1: When he turned to the side, are you saying you
- 30:18Speaker 1: could not see hare? Are you saying that, Steve, because
- 30:21Speaker 1: we could clearly see it.
- 30:26Speaker 4: All right.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Coming over at the top of the hour, we will
- 30:29Speaker 1: have some entertainment news for you. Right after this. You're
- 30:32Speaker 1: listening Hardy Morning Show. It's May one, which is known
- 30:40Speaker 1: as May Day annually. This year's central theme is workers
- 30:45Speaker 1: over billionaires and the national May Day Strong Coalition consists
- 30:49Speaker 1: of over five hundred labor and community organizations. To stay
- 30:53Speaker 1: on theme, workers across across the country are expected to
- 30:56Speaker 1: march and demand a nation that puts work over billionaires.
- 31:01Speaker 1: They want to demand this. The Mayday Strong Coalition has
- 31:04Speaker 1: asked for no school, no work, and no shopping today.
- 31:10Speaker 1: The core principle behind all May Day events today is
- 31:13Speaker 1: a commitment to non violent action. And have you guys
- 31:17Speaker 1: heard about this as anybody heard about May Day?
- 31:19Speaker 4: No?
- 31:21Speaker 3: No, but I'll participate.
- 31:23Speaker 1: What in the no school, no work or no shopping?
- 31:26Speaker 1: Which one?
- 31:27Speaker 2: All of them.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Got to come to work.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I agree with what they're saying. Here's the problem in
- 31:34Speaker 2: this country that we.
- 31:35Speaker 1: Live in, the workers over billionaires.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Here's the problem. Five percent of the people in this
- 31:41Speaker 2: world make ninety five percent of the money. That's the problem.
- 31:47Speaker 1: Wait say it again.
- 31:49Speaker 6: Five percent of the people in this world make ninety
- 31:51Speaker 6: five percent of the money made in this world. That's crazy,
- 31:55Speaker 6: that's a fact. Billionaires know that. Millionaires no that they
- 32:02Speaker 6: control the policies because they control the money.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Yeah, you're right.
- 32:09Speaker 2: And even though I agree what they're saying, work is
- 32:11Speaker 2: over billionaires.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Now you got to go about it a.
- 32:14Speaker 1: Different way though, So what do you suggest then, I
- 32:19Speaker 1: don't know.
- 32:20Speaker 2: I don't really. It's not how it's set up. It's
- 32:24Speaker 2: not how they're gonna allow it to be set up.
- 32:26Speaker 1: They've asked for no school, no work, and no shopping.
- 32:29Speaker 6: You can do all that, and then the next day,
- 32:32Speaker 6: guess what they're gonna dismantle. They're gonna go back to school,
- 32:36Speaker 6: they're gonna go back to shopping, and they're gonna go
- 32:38Speaker 6: back to work because they have to do all three
- 32:42Speaker 6: of those things. You have to shop to survive, you
- 32:46Speaker 6: have to work to make payments to live, and you
- 32:49Speaker 6: have to go to school to get educated to better
- 32:51Speaker 6: your life. It's just period, and billionaires know that. It's
- 32:59Speaker 6: a difficult thing, man. It's just I think what has
- 33:03Speaker 6: to be done is see you they're going to like
- 33:07Speaker 6: every year.
- 33:07Speaker 2: The Democrats say we're going to make the billionaires pay
- 33:10Speaker 2: their fair share.
- 33:11Speaker 3: They're not. They're not.
- 33:14Speaker 6: And to their they're paying more than their fair share
- 33:18Speaker 6: because of the number of taxes that they do have
- 33:21Speaker 6: to pay.
- 33:22Speaker 2: And their argument is, if it wasn't for billionaires.
- 33:26Speaker 6: Who provide all the jobs for people, you wouldn't have that,
- 33:30Speaker 6: and they just so what we have to work on
- 33:33Speaker 6: is like John Hopebriant, we have to work on economic empowerment.
- 33:38Speaker 6: You have to get yourself in the best economic empowerment
- 33:42Speaker 6: position that you can.
- 33:46Speaker 2: And then you'll have a voice, at least a say
- 33:50Speaker 2: so in your life.
- 33:52Speaker 6: So you're trying to control all the billionaires when you
- 33:55Speaker 6: really need to be trying to control is you your existence,
- 33:59Speaker 6: where you and your family are headed in your direction?
- 34:02Speaker 6: The anti fight to stop them from having this you're
- 34:05Speaker 6: wasting time from having yours.
- 34:08Speaker 1: Isn't that kind of what your what your dad told
- 34:10Speaker 1: you years ago, Steve, the best way not to be
- 34:13Speaker 1: or what the.
- 34:14Speaker 6: Best thing you can do for poor people is not
- 34:16Speaker 6: be one of them. Man, first thing, you got to
- 34:19Speaker 6: get yourself together for us. We got to get that
- 34:22Speaker 6: economic empowerment for ourself so you can control the destiny
- 34:27Speaker 6: and direction of yourself and your family. The fight against
- 34:31Speaker 6: the billionaires, you're not gonna win that fight. You don't
- 34:34Speaker 6: have resources all the time, because all this time, see
- 34:39Speaker 6: that's what makes us not get it, man, all this
- 34:42Speaker 6: time dedicated to stopping the billionaires and pointing the finger
- 34:46Speaker 6: tip all this time, you could be building yourself and
- 34:49Speaker 6: they know that, and that's the distraction that they keep going.
- 34:53Speaker 6: See if you throw in a few, if you throw
- 34:57Speaker 6: in a few assassination attempts, if you throw in a
- 35:03Speaker 6: war that we shouldn't even.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Be in, if you throw in.
- 35:10Speaker 6: Find a couple of DOJ people that you really don't like,
- 35:13Speaker 6: no way, fire a couple people in your administration. You
- 35:16Speaker 6: throw it throughout the distraction, and then all of a
- 35:19Speaker 6: sudden you forget. You don't talk about the Epstein files
- 35:22Speaker 6: no more. See ain't nobody talking about Elon Musk no more?
- 35:26Speaker 6: But you know what Elon Musk came in did the
- 35:29Speaker 6: create had one job, his two hundred and seventy billion
- 35:33Speaker 6: dollars behind, took his money, came in here and told
- 35:36Speaker 6: the government how you can shave all your spending. And
- 35:39Speaker 6: they cut everything the Republicans wanted to CUTDEI and all
- 35:44Speaker 6: of this, which was veterans' rights, which is Medicaid or Medicare,
- 35:49Speaker 6: whichever one that they took out, and Social Security and
- 35:54Speaker 6: this Healthcare Act that they've been screaming about, but they
- 35:57Speaker 6: have nothing to replace it with. It's affecting all of it.
- 36:03Speaker 6: And while we focused on trying to make billionaires pay
- 36:07Speaker 6: their fair share, we're a little going nowhere. Get yourself together, folks,
- 36:14Speaker 6: focus on yourself and your family. Could worry about them
- 36:17Speaker 6: billionaires because they are slick man and they got resources
- 36:22Speaker 6: and they hold the cards. That's why you always hear

- 56:46Speaker 8: Letter with my good friend Shirley Strawberry.
- 56:49Speaker 1: Thank you my good friend. Junior subject. She's trashy, not classy.
- 56:54Speaker 1: And I told everyone, Dear Stephen, Shirley, I'm forty eight
- 56:57Speaker 1: years old and I just got engaged to a hardworking
- 56:59Speaker 1: man that was known around town as a womanizer and
- 57:03Speaker 1: a partier. We were close friends for years before he
- 57:07Speaker 1: took our relationship to the next level. Before we took
- 57:10Speaker 1: our relationship to the next level. We got engaged and
- 57:13Speaker 1: he said that his cheating days were over. He lied
- 57:16Speaker 1: and I caught him cheating with a fifty eight year
- 57:18Speaker 1: old lady that has a reputation for being classy and bougie.
- 57:23Speaker 1: She has a great job, nice home, and three great
- 57:26Speaker 1: children that she raised with her husband. She got divorced
- 57:29Speaker 1: two years ago, and most people rallied around her and
- 57:33Speaker 1: blamed her husband for the divorce, but he told people
- 57:36Speaker 1: that she's trashy and the truth will come out. A
- 57:39Speaker 1: few months ago, she was driving drunk and police took
- 57:42Speaker 1: her home instead of arresting her. I heard that she
- 57:45Speaker 1: was with my fiance when she got pulled over. I
- 57:48Speaker 1: did not believe it because he's a roughneck and a
- 57:51Speaker 1: weed smoker, and she's very classy. Boy was I wrong,
- 57:55Speaker 1: And I was devastated when I found out who she
- 57:58Speaker 1: really is. I stopped by my fiance's house to drop
- 58:02Speaker 1: off some paint Monday, and I saw his car and
- 58:06Speaker 1: a ben's outside. I called out to him as I
- 58:09Speaker 1: walked in. He had music on and it sounded like
- 58:12Speaker 1: somebody was fighting. It wasn't a fight at all. My
- 58:16Speaker 1: fiance and that woman were going at it on the
- 58:19Speaker 1: table and she was saying filthy, trashy things to him
- 58:23Speaker 1: to do to her. Yes, I stood there and watched
- 58:27Speaker 1: and I took pictures. Then I hit him hard in
- 58:30Speaker 1: the back of his head so he'd know I was there.
- 58:33Speaker 1: I broke up with him, and I posted the picture
- 58:35Speaker 1: of him and the lady on Facebook with his bear
- 58:38Speaker 1: behind and her face exposed, so everyone will know how
- 58:43Speaker 1: trashy she is. My ex fiance said he was surprised
- 58:47Speaker 1: she wanted him, so he had to do it. Am
- 58:50Speaker 1: I wrong for the way I handled this situation?
- 58:54Speaker 11: What?
- 58:57Speaker 1: So you get engaged to a known lady's man and
- 59:00Speaker 1: a partier and a player and all that, and you're
- 59:02Speaker 1: so surprised when he cheats on you that you and
- 59:05Speaker 1: him blame the woman that he cheated with. She's classy
- 59:08Speaker 1: and trashy and you're now ex fiance said, she wanted it,
- 59:12Speaker 1: so he had to do it.
- 59:14Speaker 7: What?
- 59:15Speaker 1: But this is crazy?
- 59:17Speaker 3: The truth.
- 59:20Speaker 1: The truth is that he never stopped being a womanizer.
- 59:23Speaker 1: He never stopped that. That's who he is. You want
- 59:26Speaker 1: to know if you were wrong and how you handle
- 59:28Speaker 1: this situation. I say yes, you catching him and taking
- 59:32Speaker 1: pictures and posting them on Facebook is just you and
- 59:35Speaker 1: your feelings, and you just wanted to get revenge. She
- 59:38Speaker 1: wanted to get back at him. But mostly her. It
- 59:41Speaker 1: had nothing to do with them, everything to do with
- 59:43Speaker 1: you and your anger, and you're wanting to, you know,
- 59:46Speaker 1: get back. You willingly hooked up with this guy, knowing
- 59:50Speaker 1: exactly who he was when you got engaged. But you're
- 59:53Speaker 1: still blaming the woman and calling her names. Although I
- 59:56Speaker 1: personally don't think classy and bougie. I don't think you
- 59:59Speaker 1: know that's anything wrong with that. It's him now. Her
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: three great kids as you call them, have to hear
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: about and see their mom naked on Facebook and live
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: with the public scrutiny because of all the choices you made.
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: And you're still more mad at her than him. I mean,
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: you knew who he was when you married him, what
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: steve she married? Engaged him?
- 1:00:25Speaker 6: I can tell by your voice is confusing, and it
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: is you know, you know so many people write in
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: and when I find out that particulars of the letter
- 1:00:36Speaker 6: they actually mad at the wrong person. Yeah, she' more
- 1:00:41Speaker 6: mad at the lady than to him. You need to
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: be mad with is yourself right? Because you picked.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: Him knowing.
- 1:00:55Speaker 6: You're engaged to a hard working man, because you got
- 1:00:59Speaker 6: to be hard working to be a womanizer, and is
- 1:01:01Speaker 6: hard work. You got to put it in town boy, Right,
- 1:01:08Speaker 6: you're a hard working man that's known around town as
- 1:01:11Speaker 6: a womanizer.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Now this is around town. This is not a big place, everybody,
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: this is.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: This is a town.
- 1:01:20Speaker 6: He's known around town and a partier. Now, when they
- 1:01:25Speaker 6: say partier, they ain't talking about exactly.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Clubs.
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: That's weed smoking, you know, getting high, sitting around drinking,
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: that's what you mean by that. And we were close
- 1:01:37Speaker 6: friends for years, but we took our relationship to the
- 1:01:39Speaker 6: next level because you had heard about all the womanizing
- 1:01:42Speaker 6: and you wanted to see what it was about. Well
- 1:01:44Speaker 6: you found out. And he was pretty good at it too.
- 1:01:47Speaker 6: He pretty good at it. He got you all the
- 1:01:50Speaker 6: way in. You just went, oh, lord, this is what
- 1:01:52Speaker 6: they talking about. I'll tell you how good it got.
- 1:01:56Speaker 6: Y'all got engaged. And then he told you he said
- 1:01:59Speaker 6: it cheating, Dave over He lied. I called him cheating
- 1:02:01Speaker 6: with a fifty eight year old lady that has a
- 1:02:04Speaker 6: reputation of being classy and bullgie. See that's what bothered you.
- 1:02:08Speaker 6: She got a great job, nice home, three great children
- 1:02:11Speaker 6: that she raised with her husband. She got divorced a
- 1:02:13Speaker 6: couple of years ago, and most of the people rallied
- 1:02:15Speaker 6: around her.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: That's a small town. Everybody rallied around her.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: It's a small town.
- 1:02:19Speaker 6: Yeah, and blamed her husband for the divorce, but he
- 1:02:22Speaker 6: told people she trashy and the truth will come out.
- 1:02:26Speaker 6: A few months ago, she was driving drunk. Police look
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: her home instead of arresting her. That's a small town,
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: fall town. I heard she was with my fiance when
- 1:02:34Speaker 6: she got pulled over. That's a small town. I didn't
- 1:02:38Speaker 6: believe it because he's a rough neck and a weed smoker,
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: and she's very classy.
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: Boy was I wrong.
- 1:02:44Speaker 6: I was devastating when I found out who she really is.
- 1:02:47Speaker 6: I stopped buy my fiance's house, drop off some paint Monday.
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: And it's a small town. What did you doing dropping
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: off some paint?
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: Him?
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: All right, Steve, we'll have part two of your response
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: to the Strawberry letter at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Today's subject She's trashy, not classy, and I told everyone
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: we'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: Do you ever notice your floors still look dirty even
- 1:03:22Speaker 7: after you mop? Power mop gives you a deeper clean
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: you can see and feel, unlike stream mops. Sore for
- 1:03:29Speaker 7: power Mop absorbs more dirt and locks it away even
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: and hard to reach places.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Like behind the toilet.
- 1:03:36Speaker 7: The new micro scrubbers deliver thousands of tiny, deep cleaning
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: actions for results that look, smell, and feel clean. No
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: more dirty floors. Try the sweart for power Mop. Love
- 1:03:47Speaker 7: it or your money back?
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: All right, Come on, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: This is crazy here.
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: This forty eight you old woman then got engaged in
- 1:03:56Speaker 6: this hard working man.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: That's a womanis in a party.
- 1:04:00Speaker 6: Going in. They was friends for a long time, but
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: she had been here about this womanizing thing. She decided
- 1:04:06Speaker 6: she got a little curious about this womanizer.
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: He put it on her. Now they engaged because she
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: want this forever, he told her.
- 1:04:15Speaker 6: And these cheating days and over, I got to get
- 1:04:17Speaker 6: this every day I married. Yes, yes, yes, he told me.
- 1:04:23Speaker 6: Her cheating day was over. She found out real quickly
- 1:04:25Speaker 6: because he got caught him cheating with a fifty eight
- 1:04:27Speaker 6: year old lady in around town. That's got this really
- 1:04:30Speaker 6: classy and bullgy reputation because they're in a small town.
- 1:04:35Speaker 6: She got a great job, big house, nice house, three
- 1:04:38Speaker 6: beautiful kids. She got caught driving drunk one night and
- 1:04:41Speaker 6: instead of arresting her, they took her home. Then she
- 1:04:44Speaker 6: found out that the fiance was in the car while
- 1:04:47Speaker 6: she was drunk. Now, she got divorced couple of years ago,
- 1:04:50Speaker 6: and the people rallied around her. Everybody in town got
- 1:04:53Speaker 6: around her. But the husband said she she trashy and
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: the truth gonna come out. Well after she got driving
- 1:05:02Speaker 6: drunk and all that, uh she got she got caught
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: with your fiance in the car right, and you didn't
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: believe it because he's a rough neck and a weed smoker.
- 1:05:11Speaker 6: And she then class boy, was I wrong? And then
- 1:05:16Speaker 6: I was devastated when I found out who she really is.
- 1:05:18Speaker 6: So she was going by his house drop off some paint.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: I don't know who do that.
- 1:05:23Speaker 6: My girl ain't never dropped no paint off in my
- 1:05:25Speaker 6: house before small town that I'm a swing by. I'm
- 1:05:29Speaker 6: a swing by Ace and I'm gonna get the paint.
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: And it's a small town, so it ain't no Walmart.
- 1:05:35Speaker 6: I'm a swing By Ace and get this paint, and
- 1:05:38Speaker 6: I'm bringing over to the house. And you came over
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: and you saw his car and this beings outside. I
- 1:05:45Speaker 6: called in out to him as I walked in line
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: Lonnie romanized and the player in the hard work he
- 1:05:55Speaker 6: truck driver.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: Y Lonnie.
- 1:06:00Speaker 13: Line in.
- 1:06:03Speaker 6: And then efact she heard his nawse music on It
- 1:06:07Speaker 6: sound like somebody was in there fighting off me.
- 1:06:13Speaker 11: You don't do that to me.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Put it over here, just do it again. He didn't right,
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: you hit it.
- 1:06:20Speaker 6: It sounded like they was in that fight, but it
- 1:06:23Speaker 6: wasn't a fight. Your fiance and that woman was going
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: at it on the table. He was saying, feelthy trashy
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: things for him to do the house. I stood there
- 1:06:37Speaker 6: and watched because you know, she was passing out some
- 1:06:41Speaker 6: really good instructions and he was following them too.
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: So I was watching.
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: I was going out.
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: She started taking notes, Yeah, took notes and pictures.
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: Wow.
- 1:06:53Speaker 2: Then I hit him hard in the back of the head,
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: so he know I was there.
- 1:06:57Speaker 6: I broke up with him. You see me, bag, you're
- 1:07:00Speaker 6: so busy. Did you see me back here? So I
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: posted the picture of him and the lady on Facebook,
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: with her with his bad behind her face exposed so
- 1:07:13Speaker 6: everybody would know how trashy she is. My ex fiance
- 1:07:17Speaker 6: said he was surprised that she wanted me, like, I
- 1:07:21Speaker 6: don't even know how this happened because I was just
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: sitting over there and then she wanted me, and I
- 1:07:27Speaker 6: was just sitting a big thinking, you know, classy.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: And bushy and everything. Why would she want somebody like me?
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: You know, So it like gave me a lot of
- 1:07:35Speaker 6: you know, it made me and my self esteem was
- 1:07:38Speaker 6: just overwhelming at that point, and so being when my
- 1:07:42Speaker 6: self esteem had never been that high before, I went, well,
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: they said, I gotta do it.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: I mean, wondered what you want me to do? She
- 1:07:48Speaker 2: came in here and said she wanted me. What was
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: I supposed to do? If she said she want you,
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: won't what you do? So and now hear she come.
- 1:07:57Speaker 6: All she'll do is leave me alone because I wouldn't
- 1:07:59Speaker 6: have did it, and she hadn't asked me to, because
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: why would she want somebody like me? I drive PEPSI trump,
- 1:08:06Speaker 6: I make all deliveries and stuff. You know, they got
- 1:08:10Speaker 6: Pepsy machine in their house. You know they're well off.
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: They got pepsil machine. I was taking Pepsy around back
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: and long stuff with Ruth and kids. You know, she
- 1:08:18Speaker 6: got nice kids. And the next thing I know, she
- 1:08:21Speaker 6: looked at me, and I looked at her. You know,
- 1:08:24Speaker 6: I ain't think nothing of it.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: Then, you know, she.
- 1:08:27Speaker 6: Called me and brings more pepsi over there, and I
- 1:08:30Speaker 6: was drink I was drinking pepsi. So when I came
- 1:08:33Speaker 6: over there with the pepsi, then she was over there.
- 1:08:36Speaker 6: You know, I just said, well, since I'm here with
- 1:08:40Speaker 6: this peppsi and then you know, so I had just
- 1:08:43Speaker 6: finished drinking a pepsi, you know, and I had some
- 1:08:47Speaker 6: pepsi on my mouth, and then she lifted the pepsi
- 1:08:49Speaker 6: off my mouth.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: Was I supposed to do?
- 1:08:53Speaker 6: What was I supposed to do? You can lift the
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: peppsil off my lips. I was sleep picking pepsi, PEPs
- 1:08:58Speaker 6: and pepsy pepsi. And then, you know, then we started
- 1:09:01Speaker 6: seeing each other. So then one day she had called
- 1:09:05Speaker 6: me and I didn't have no more pepsy on the truck,
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: so she said she come to them. Yeah, she said.
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: I told her I was in to paint this house,
- 1:09:12Speaker 6: you know, because you was bringing the paint by. I
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: told her I was gonna paint the house. And she said, well,
- 1:09:16Speaker 6: she'll bring the pepsi by because she knew I would
- 1:09:19Speaker 6: get thirsty while I'm painting the house. And she came
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: in there with all that pepsy and then here you
- 1:09:25Speaker 6: come with the paint. And but she brought the pepsi
- 1:09:28Speaker 6: in and this time she had pepsi on her mouth,
- 1:09:31Speaker 6: and she asked me to lick the pepsi off of
- 1:09:33Speaker 6: her mouth. Yeah, and I had to because I didn't
- 1:09:36Speaker 6: want it to dry, because you know, I don't know
- 1:09:37Speaker 6: if you've been around pepsi, but if you don't get
- 1:09:40Speaker 6: the pepsy off, there gets sticky.
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: But the way I.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Asked you, or did she tell you, because you know,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: it sounded like they were fighting.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: Now, she told me you better beat this. That's what
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: I thought, You better beat me.
- 1:09:50Speaker 3: And I just beat me like I stole some PEPs.

- 1:10:52Speaker 8: I'm not doing sports today, Sureley, I'm not. I need

- 1:11:01Speaker 8: earlier this week they was talking about my hairline a lot.
- 1:11:03Speaker 8: They just been talking about it, and so the only
- 1:11:06Speaker 8: way I know how to answer is through poetry. I
- 1:11:09Speaker 8: wrote a poem too, and I want to share it
- 1:11:12Speaker 8: with them.
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: This is what a tree. Yeah, yeah, In the name
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: of the poem is my hairline.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: That's the name porm or haline.
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 1:11:26Speaker 8: You wrote a poem about me earlier this week, and
- 1:11:29Speaker 8: that's fine. You and Tommy are always joking about my hairline.
- 1:11:33Speaker 8: So here's a poem for the both of you, because
- 1:11:36Speaker 8: writing poetry is what I do. Y'all can make jokes.
- 1:11:39Speaker 8: I do not care because I know there's a lot
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: of jealousy in here. See back in my prime, I
- 1:11:45Speaker 8: had currently hair. All the women used to stop and
- 1:11:48Speaker 8: stare when Tommy makes jokes. I kept my cool because
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: I refuse to be upset by a tiny little fool.
- 1:11:56Speaker 8: Listen up, Unk and Tommy, I'm not worried about a
- 1:11:59Speaker 8: thing because when it comes to poetry, I'm a real
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: king d N.
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to leave Earth.
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: You better do it.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: Yes, I'm gonna have to get out of the Wow.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: I'm gonna have to leave Earth. I can't bet you
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: did have the curls I had. Al yes, why you made.
- 1:12:18Speaker 4: That.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: I'm telling you I'm gonna have to get in a
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: rocket and just go.
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:12:25Speaker 8: Yeah, so tom back, Yeah, I want to talk about
- 1:12:30Speaker 8: the hairline.
- 1:12:30Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: I would have respected more of you. Have done your
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: poem with your hat off, you know what I mean?
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: And and keep keep it real.
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: Such a hater.
- 1:12:39Speaker 8: If you in the kebla elves, get into it, it
- 1:12:41Speaker 8: sounds like this.
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: When you'll be in that little tree, just in that
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: tree trunk, just rocking it this. They be agatting haircuts,
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: that's what they be doing.
- 1:12:54Speaker 2: What happened?
- 1:12:55Speaker 4: You know?
- 1:12:55Speaker 8: I just won't.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: That's want to know.
- 1:12:59Speaker 4: You.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: Okay, let me see, man, let me see, let me
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: thank yourself.
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: Now.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: I don't need to think. I just do my poems
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: off the top of my.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: We have to have.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: You have to have past apologize. We're talking here we go.
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: I have a poem too.
- 1:13:19Speaker 6: I know we're talking about the half and your head
- 1:13:24Speaker 6: that is on, but I just want you to know
- 1:13:27Speaker 6: that it's over, Judy, because it's all gone. Now you
- 1:13:31Speaker 6: can talk about your curls you used to have back
- 1:13:35Speaker 6: in your prime.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: Well, that's over the end. What that didn't rhyme at
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: the end.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: The end?
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Sometime it just go away what I'm trying to say.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: All right, thank you Junior for that beautiful poem. Man Steve,
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: all right, coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: a man thinks his brother and cousin are too comfortable
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: with each other. We'll talk about that right after this.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right,
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: So this is from Manny and Flint. Mannie says, I
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: want to stay with my brother for the weekend. He
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: lives with our first cousin, Alicia. I was shocked to
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: see how they behave around each other. Alicia is well
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: and out up top, and she walked around in her
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: panties and a bra in front of us. They have
- 1:14:29Speaker 1: one bathroom and she was in the shower. My brother
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: walked in to use a bathroom to use a toilet.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: He says she slept in a slinky nightgown with no
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: underwear and didn't close her bedroom door. Their relationship is questionable.
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: He said. It's cool because we're all family and he
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: does not see her as anything but a cousin. Should
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: I mind my business or talk to them about how
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: this looks? That's what will let me explain when.
- 1:14:56Speaker 6: Your brother says it's nothing because we all family. I
- 1:15:01Speaker 6: see her that way. You see her that way?
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: Uh huh, you see her that way too, dough. Okay,
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: so he's not being truthful, the brother.
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: You can't unsee what you see.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Yeah, there is something going on. They are very very familiar,
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: very comfortable, very common, as my mother would say, with
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: each other.
- 1:15:23Speaker 6: Yeah, so I have no experience with that, my friend.
- 1:15:29Speaker 6: Everybody in my family look like they My cousin's.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Becus like you're supposed to look like you?
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: You that way?
- 1:15:42Speaker 2: We can all just playing. It ain't gonna cross your.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Man, Yeah, okay, all right, all right, we do have
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: time for another one and.
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: For me so.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Because you were the baby of the family, right, my
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: girl is cool?
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: Whoop me?
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: I'm talking about, not not no whooping like your mama.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: I'm talking could beat my.
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: Feet down, ye beat down, Junior. You have an interesting
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: family anything like all my cousins were like my cousins, they.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: See I don't they listened to the show? I bet
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: I say that.
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: You.
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question. Yeah, do everybody in
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: your family have all they have?
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: You know what?
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: Tommy, you're awfully quiet.
- 1:16:32Speaker 3: Let's go to you.
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: That is so wrong, Tommy, I don't.
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: I don't have nothing to say on that. I'm still
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: back when we did sports, when we did the poem
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: and he threw a rock at me.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: Sent him every day.
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: Yeah, so I wrote a quick little poem that I'd
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: like to spin up, and we're here for it.
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: Not what what is it?
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: Let's go it is.
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: I don't care about your hair, honestly, I think you
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: used now by the dollar hair cuts for what you
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: in denial. That's what's up. Maybe you should taptoo a
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: hair line across your head something to explain why you
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: wear a do rag to be That's all I got
- 1:17:20Speaker 3: so far?
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: You got with you know?
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I ain't that good?
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: Well, y'all to do it.
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: Lauria so you.
- 1:17:32Speaker 3: Should hairline on your heir.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: Wow, Oh my gosh. All right, this is turned into
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: a good here all right, coming up, we'll have more
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: of this very more. Yes, yes, right after this.
- 1:17:53Speaker 6: Steve Harbin Martin show Man, praise, answers, no, no moves,
- 1:17:58Speaker 6: don't be in sync.
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: None of that.
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: Well you've seen, you haven't seen the good one.
- 1:18:03Speaker 8: First of all, we ain't got room enough for everybody.
- 1:18:05Speaker 8: Be up there, I sanctuary at that big y'allready know
- 1:18:07Speaker 8: we got one person to.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Go up there in time. And don't be down and people.
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: Stop coming down the aisle with you too close stage.
- 1:18:17Speaker 3: You're too close.
- 1:18:17Speaker 6: Get back up there where we can see everybody all
- 1:18:20Speaker 6: that coming down the out I don't all behind me
- 1:18:22Speaker 6: and next to.
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: Me swiler with my grandmother twiling in from my grandmother, laught.
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: No need that standing in the hot white downs and
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: just staying in this front round this church.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: Getting back up there on the platform where we can
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: see y'all. Yeah, and you got a bathe before you dance.
- 1:18:40Speaker 2: Now you do have the baby dance.
- 1:18:42Speaker 8: Everybody can't touch their toes if we If everybody can't
- 1:18:45Speaker 8: just they toes.
- 1:18:46Speaker 3: Don't even do the toe movement in the right.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Coming up right after you you're listening to the Steve
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. A new online study shows that Americans
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: turn to the internet for medical advice now more than
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: ever before, and then decide whether or not to actually
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: go to the doctor. But what's really scary is that
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: more and more are skipping the doctor altogether. Costs and
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: long wait times are driving this trend. How the experts
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: warned that Google and AI should not replace professional medical care,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: especially when symptoms are serious. So here's a question. Do
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: you guys google your symptoms first before you call your doctor? Y? Yes,
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: I still go to the doctor. But yeah doctor, Yeah, Tommy,
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: what all I've been through?
- 1:19:43Speaker 3: I am actually a MD. Now I am a medical doctor.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: I know, Steve, I do it.
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: I'll do this three process, three step process. I google it.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: Yeah, go to my doctor.
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: Then I google it.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, yeah, because you won.
- 1:20:05Speaker 6: And then I gotta do that. I gotta do that
- 1:20:07Speaker 6: three times. I'll get a different opinion. And I recommend
- 1:20:10Speaker 6: that you should always get a different opinion. That opinion
- 1:20:13Speaker 6: I google before, I google my symptoms.
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: See what I got.
- 1:20:17Speaker 6: Then I go an event the doctor tell me what
- 1:20:19Speaker 6: I got in his opinion? Then I go google that,
- 1:20:22Speaker 6: and I take all that information I have and I
- 1:20:24Speaker 6: go to my next doctor because I'm gonna get another opinion.
- 1:20:27Speaker 6: There are doctors who are just not up on all
- 1:20:30Speaker 6: the new medical findings, and some doctors are relying on
- 1:20:34Speaker 6: their medical treatment based on the last time they was
- 1:20:36Speaker 6: in school.
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: And there's too much new stuff out here.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: All right, thank you, We'll have more of the Steve

- 1:22:27Speaker 2: I can't do that.
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: Sounds amble you.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: A problem with coming to rule is you got to
- 1:22:35Speaker 2: deal with the rule people.

- 1:22:45Speaker 6: Up the street from my ranch that says come and

- 1:23:14Speaker 3: You ever smell anything burning at night.
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: Like a cross.
- 1:23:20Speaker 3: Wow.
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: You know, uh, I mean, you know, it's it's real
- 1:23:24Speaker 2: down here. But we have an understanding. We have a
- 1:23:26Speaker 2: clear understanding.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: What you're understanding, don't.
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: Hey. Man, Look, my family's off limits. You can do
- 1:23:33Speaker 6: anything you want to do to me. But my wife,
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: my children, and my grandchildren they off limits. Now, you

- 1:25:34Speaker 3: you have a question seen you have seen Bucking the Preacher.
- 1:25:38Speaker 3: What is that movie movie Bucking the Preacher?
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: Wow?
- 1:25:42Speaker 6: What year was it?
- 1:25:44Speaker 3: Oh? Yeah, you wasn't here.
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: I will see it.
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: It's with Sidney Poitier and Harry Belafonte. Harry Wow.
- 1:25:56Speaker 1: Alright are today.
- 1:26:02Speaker 4: Junior?
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: You have a question for Steve Crazy. I'm stay now
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: to ask anything because I know it's gonna lead.
- 1:26:08Speaker 3: To come on. That was.
- 1:26:16Speaker 6: That was the only reason I went because of Junior Bridgeman.
- 1:26:19Speaker 6: He was the first person that really invited me to
- 1:26:22Speaker 6: and took care of me and everything. Man, and uh
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: he just that was that was the reason I went. Man,
- 1:26:28Speaker 6: Junior Bridgeman Man was one of the great great men
- 1:26:32Speaker 6: in this world on this earth. Man, I'm gonna tell
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: you something. I never met a finer man than Junior Bridgeman.
- 1:26:38Speaker 6: I've never met a finer man sitting around. Junior Bridgeman
- 1:26:43Speaker 6: made me want to be a better businessman, but more importantly,
- 1:26:49Speaker 6: just a better husband and father. I never saw nobody,
- 1:26:55Speaker 6: not no man that had that kind of money that
- 1:26:58Speaker 6: was that way with his family. I ain't never seen
- 1:27:00Speaker 6: it before. I've never seen it. And Junior Bridgeman was
- 1:27:04Speaker 6: that guy. I've never seen it, man, And I mean
- 1:27:06Speaker 6: that from the bottom of my heart. I never saw it,
- 1:27:08Speaker 6: and he inspired me to do better because he was
- 1:27:11Speaker 6: that way. I went wow, because you know, look, man,
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: he taught me so much.
- 1:27:18Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:27:18Speaker 6: He tried to help me in so many ways to
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: teach me. But he just did it by example. He
- 1:27:24Speaker 6: didn't never sit me down to go hey, man, do this,
- 1:27:26Speaker 6: do this, do this. He just said he would invite
- 1:27:29Speaker 6: me around him and then he'd just be who he
- 1:27:31Speaker 6: was and who he was man, was really really special guy.
- 1:27:34Speaker 6: So I kind of I had some people invited me
- 1:27:38Speaker 6: there to the Kentucky Derby this year, but you know
- 1:27:45Speaker 6: the conduct Derby to me as I knew it, it
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: was Junior Bridgeman and for that reason, yeah, man, it
- 1:27:56Speaker 6: was just he was a great person. Man, wow, just
- 1:28:00Speaker 6: a great dude.
- 1:28:01Speaker 4: Man.
- 1:28:03Speaker 6: And people that knew him know what I'm talking about.
- 1:28:05Speaker 6: So and if you never met him, boy, you missed it.
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: You missed a really really good dude.
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: So I just wanted to say that Junior, what you got?
- 1:28:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:28:13Speaker 8: Can I ask you something because you said something Junior
- 1:28:15Speaker 8: Bridgeman being a better husband and everything else. Don't you
- 1:28:18Speaker 8: think you were a great husband and a great father too.
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: I think you are.
- 1:28:23Speaker 2: I think you were grateful.
- 1:28:24Speaker 6: I think I've grown into the role a lot better.
- 1:28:29Speaker 6: When I was younger, man, I wasn't that great of
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: a father because I just wasn't there. I had picked
- 1:28:37Speaker 6: up stakes to chase this dream, and that caused me
- 1:28:40Speaker 6: to neglect some people. I knew that, man, and I
- 1:28:44Speaker 6: wish I had chosen a different way to do it.
- 1:28:47Speaker 6: But at that particular time in my age, with that mindset,
- 1:28:51Speaker 6: I made my decisions based on the capabilities that I had.
- 1:28:57Speaker 6: You know, I didn't. I didn't know any better. I
- 1:29:00Speaker 6: did what I thought was the best way. I'm glad
- 1:29:04Speaker 6: I did it, but I did it with regrets.
- 1:29:06Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:29:07Speaker 6: I do regret that in my decision to pursue my
- 1:29:11Speaker 6: dreams that it cost some people. You know, it did, man,
- 1:29:18Speaker 6: It cost some people. And I guess, like Bishop Jakes
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: has told me over and over and over, he said, man,
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: you're too hard on yourself. He says, you gotta stop
- 1:29:27Speaker 6: being so hard on yourself. Man, But I was, and
- 1:29:30Speaker 6: I just took that into account with everything, and I
- 1:29:33Speaker 6: guess I've spent all my life, Like I said at
- 1:29:36Speaker 6: my daughter Carly's wedding, which was very emotional for me.
- 1:29:40Speaker 6: I said at my daughter's wedding, I've spent my entire
- 1:29:42Speaker 6: adult life making up to mistakes I made when I
- 1:29:45Speaker 6: was a young man, and so I had to learn,
- 1:29:49Speaker 6: really man, to forgive myself. I had to forgive myself.
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: Now there are people who still hold me to that
- 1:29:57Speaker 6: twenty seven year old dude that I was. It's still
- 1:30:01Speaker 6: people who hold me to the twenty four year old
- 1:30:03Speaker 6: dude that I was. But I had to learn to
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: stop allowing people to do that to me, because if
- 1:30:09Speaker 6: God has changed me and God has forgiven me, then
- 1:30:13Speaker 6: that gives me the right and the opportunity to move on,
- 1:30:18Speaker 6: to step up. And my advice to everybody out there
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: is stop allowing people to hold you to your past
- 1:30:25Speaker 6: when God has clearly moved you forward.
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: Take the forward route. And so I am a much
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: better husband, a much better father, you know.
- 1:30:36Speaker 6: Because now what's crazy is now that I've gotten to
- 1:30:39Speaker 6: where I took off, where I took off to when
- 1:30:41Speaker 6: I was twenty seven years old to become I've arrived there.
- 1:30:44Speaker 6: I've gotten to where I set out to be. Now
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: the crazy thing is God put me way beyond where.
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: I thought that was.
- 1:30:51Speaker 6: I accomplished what I set out to accomplish, but what
- 1:30:55Speaker 6: God did for me on top of that, what he
- 1:30:56Speaker 6: stacked on top of that, was far more than I
- 1:30:59Speaker 6: thought i'd ever be. And so now that I'm here,
- 1:31:02Speaker 6: it's the crazy thing. Every decision I make now, it's
- 1:31:08Speaker 6: not for me.
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: It's for them.
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: Everything I do is for my wife, for my children,
- 1:31:17Speaker 6: and for my grandchildren. Everything. I don't make no decisions
- 1:31:21Speaker 6: now without considering that. Now. I don't know how long
- 1:31:24Speaker 6: it takes a man to get to that point. We
- 1:31:26Speaker 6: all got our own individual or journeys with that. And
- 1:31:29Speaker 6: I'm not saying you need to be there in order
- 1:31:32Speaker 6: to be a man. But it's a lot more rewarding
- 1:31:35Speaker 6: for me right now because I realized that it ain't
- 1:31:39Speaker 6: about me. It ain't for me, it's for them. I
- 1:31:43Speaker 6: still got work on that grandfather thing. I ain't really
- 1:31:45Speaker 6: locked that in yet, but you know I'm there for them.
- 1:31:48Speaker 6: I give them anything, but I ain't locked I love
- 1:31:51Speaker 6: the great kids.
- 1:31:52Speaker 3: I like it when they go.
- 1:31:54Speaker 6: Those are my closing remarks today. Have a great day
- 1:31:56Speaker 6: to y'all. Have a great day today, y'all.
