- 0:05Speaker 1: don't know, y'all have a looking back to back down,
- 0:13Speaker 1: giving them just like the million bucks things. And it's
- 0:19Speaker 1: not true. Good Steve to mother star, don't joy. You
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta use that turn over. You gotta turn to turn
- 1:41Speaker 1: them out. Turn got to turn them out, to turn
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water. Come, come on your baby, huh.
- 2:02Speaker 1: I show will a good morning everybody. You're listening to
- 2:05Speaker 1: the voice, Come on, dig me NW one. It only
- 2:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey got a radio show today? Is it? Everybody?
- 2:12Speaker 1: On a real positive note? Today? Is it? Today? Is
- 2:17Speaker 1: the day? You know? When I was in high school,
- 2:19Speaker 1: you know, my mother was a Sunday school teaching until
- 2:22Speaker 1: she passed. I would walk out the door every morning
- 2:26Speaker 1: on my way to school, and my mother used to say,
- 2:28Speaker 1: listen to me, son, Hey, don't forget. Today is the
- 2:31Speaker 1: day that the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and
- 2:34Speaker 1: be glad in it. And you know, I ain't think
- 2:36Speaker 1: much of it. You know, it's just my mama being religious,
- 2:39Speaker 1: you know, my spiritual woman. So you know I just
- 2:42Speaker 1: took it as dad. But as I've gotten older, man,
- 2:44Speaker 1: you know that's registered more and more with me. Today
- 2:47Speaker 1: is the day that the Lord has made. Let us
- 2:49Speaker 1: rejoice and be glad in it. That's pretty cool, man.
- 2:53Speaker 1: What better blessing will you get throughout the day than
- 2:57Speaker 1: the fact that He allowed you to live and see
- 2:59Speaker 1: another the day. See sometimes, man, when you're young, you
- 3:03Speaker 1: don't pay no attention to that. But all you got
- 3:05Speaker 1: to do is keep living, keep watching some people that
- 3:08Speaker 1: you know not be here anymore. Go to class reunions
- 3:12Speaker 1: and they're smaller. See people that you really loved. It
- 3:15Speaker 1: meant a lot till you leave this world, and all
- 3:17Speaker 1: of a sudden, man, immortality starts to matter a great
- 3:21Speaker 1: deal to you. Some of us learned this lesson sooner
- 3:25Speaker 1: than others. But I know, when you're young, man, you
- 3:27Speaker 1: know you think you're gonna be here for a while.
- 3:29Speaker 1: You think you got time to play around, You think
- 3:31Speaker 1: you got time to get it together, you got time
- 3:33Speaker 1: to make the mistakes. And but man, oh man, almost
- 3:36Speaker 1: every full blown adult that I know will tell you
- 3:40Speaker 1: and have said these words right here many times. And
- 3:43Speaker 1: I would see the reason I'm saying this because I
- 3:44Speaker 1: want you to hear them, because you're gonna use them.
- 3:47Speaker 1: If I only knew then what I know. Now. Do
- 3:50Speaker 1: you know how many people have said those words right there?
- 3:53Speaker 1: Because in time, man, you gained so much wisdom. Oh
- 3:57Speaker 1: but it ain't like nobody didn't tell you though. Somebody
- 4:00Speaker 1: told you back then. Hey man, it's best to buckle
- 4:02Speaker 1: down now, he said, Hey man, you better quit wasting time. Hey, look,
- 4:06Speaker 1: do your best at all the times. You know, stop
- 4:09Speaker 1: stop worrying about that. I'm telling you, son, in a minute,
- 4:12Speaker 1: them clubs ain't gonna mean nothing to you. In a minute,
- 4:14Speaker 1: they're going out all the time. Ain't gonna mean nothing
- 4:16Speaker 1: to you. I can't tell you how many times I
- 4:18Speaker 1: repeat it to my kids. But man, today is a
- 4:22Speaker 1: different day, because today is the day that the Lord
- 4:24Speaker 1: is made. So he gave you a shot today. If
- 4:27Speaker 1: you woke up this morning, or if you're finishing your
- 4:29Speaker 1: day on your shift, he gave you a new day.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Nothing bigger than the fact that he woke you up today. Now,
- 4:38Speaker 1: why don't you do something about that? Why don't you
- 4:40Speaker 1: take advantage of it? How About if you start today?
- 4:43Speaker 1: How About if you stop hesitating today. How About if
- 4:45Speaker 1: you stop delaying it today? How about if you stop
- 4:48Speaker 1: procrastinating today. How About if you make today to day
- 4:51Speaker 1: that you go forward. I mean, man, let's all just
- 4:54Speaker 1: decide today, let's go for it. Let's put forth a
- 4:57Speaker 1: maximum effort today. I mean, really, man, what you're doing
- 5:00Speaker 1: you look, man, take advantage of this blessing of waking up,
- 5:04Speaker 1: do something today. If you would just start the process, man,
- 5:08Speaker 1: start that business you always dreamed of. Go looking to
- 5:11Speaker 1: that other job you always yearn for. Go get the
- 5:14Speaker 1: training you need to get the promotion. Man, going back
- 5:17Speaker 1: to school. Man, go see what you need to do
- 5:20Speaker 1: to lift yourself to the next level. Stop waking up
- 5:23Speaker 1: every day seeing high it's gonna go, and start waking
- 5:26Speaker 1: up and do something about how it goes. If you
- 5:29Speaker 1: make one step, he'll make two. But you could people
- 5:32Speaker 1: talk about all the time, man, it seems like you're
- 5:34Speaker 1: always getting a blessing. Oh man, when you're talking to
- 5:36Speaker 1: a person, listen to this. If you're talking to a
- 5:39Speaker 1: person and it seems like there's always a blessing coming
- 5:43Speaker 1: his way, let me tell you what that person doing.
- 5:45Speaker 1: That person is putting one foot in front of the next.
- 5:48Speaker 1: That person is putting forth some efforts out there. And
- 5:51Speaker 1: that's the only way God can bless you. God can
- 5:54Speaker 1: only bless you with your efforts. He can only put
- 5:57Speaker 1: his finger on the thing that you are doing or attempting.
- 6:02Speaker 1: That's all he can help you with. He there are
- 6:05Speaker 1: no jobs walking up to your door, knocking on your door.
- 6:09Speaker 1: But if you're beating the payment, if you're sending in
- 6:11Speaker 1: the apps, if you own line, scouring somewhere to work,
- 6:13Speaker 1: somewhere to get a job, then God can touch somebody's
- 6:16Speaker 1: hard to hire you. But if you're sitting at the
- 6:18Speaker 1: house every day, smoke everyday, drinking, But you wonder why
- 6:23Speaker 1: you just can't get a job a couple of times
- 6:25Speaker 1: you don't want out there, you got to If you
- 6:27Speaker 1: ain't got a job, you gotta go get one every day.
- 6:30Speaker 1: You got to go look for one every single day.
- 6:32Speaker 1: You can't take no days off. How about today? How
- 6:35Speaker 1: about today? If we decide today is a day that
- 6:39Speaker 1: we're gonna make the move. Today is the day that
- 6:41Speaker 1: we stop delaying, hesitating, procrastinating. Today is to day that
- 6:45Speaker 1: we take a step in the direction to do something
- 6:47Speaker 1: for ourselves, for our lives, for our family, for our wives,
- 6:50Speaker 1: for our children, for our community, for our school. Do
- 6:54Speaker 1: something today, for crying out loud, man, stop sitting in
- 6:59Speaker 1: your own life. Life in just a stew of misery
- 7:03Speaker 1: in your own life. I'm gonna tell you something. If
- 7:05Speaker 1: you are in a state of confusion, if you are troubling,
- 7:09Speaker 1: if you're stuck on what to do next, you let
- 7:11Speaker 1: me tell you what's happening. You're not doing enough. That's
- 7:15Speaker 1: what it is. Man. See when I get in a place,
- 7:18Speaker 1: man where I don't know what the next move is,
- 7:22Speaker 1: it's because out unusually stalled out. See, this is the
- 7:25Speaker 1: way God works. This is the way He's worked for me.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Every time I'm busy and I'm about the business of
- 7:31Speaker 1: always trying to live my creed, which is ABC. My
- 7:36Speaker 1: motto is ABC always be closing. I'm always working on something,
- 7:41Speaker 1: something to close something. When you're so busy with the
- 7:44Speaker 1: business of improving yourself and doing with yourself and becoming
- 7:48Speaker 1: the best you you can be, God is always working
- 7:52Speaker 1: on your behalf behind some scene of something that you're
- 7:57Speaker 1: in the process of tempting to close. But because you're
- 8:01Speaker 1: not doing all you can do, you're limiting you. You
- 8:05Speaker 1: are because if your decision not to give you all
- 8:07Speaker 1: in all, you're limiting the opportunities for God to put
- 8:11Speaker 1: his finger on things and touch them. On your behalf.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I don't know if the average person really understands or
- 8:19Speaker 1: knows what it takes to truly be successful on whatever
- 8:23Speaker 1: level you're talking about. But whatever that level is, I
- 8:27Speaker 1: don't care what a dollar amount you've got attached to it,
- 8:29Speaker 1: what level you got if you have made the decision
- 8:32Speaker 1: that you're going to be successful. I think that a
- 8:35Speaker 1: lot of people, the average person does not know what
- 8:37Speaker 1: that means. Whatever level you've decided to be successful on, See,
- 8:42Speaker 1: that's your level of faith, that's where you see your
- 8:45Speaker 1: life at. Well, guess what you got to maximize your
- 8:49Speaker 1: efforts to even get to that level. So listen to me.
- 8:53Speaker 1: If you want to be successful at your church, if
- 8:56Speaker 1: you want to be successful in your relationship, if you
- 8:58Speaker 1: want to be successful down at the day kissing, if
- 9:00Speaker 1: you want to be successful at your college, if you
- 9:03Speaker 1: want to be successful on your job, guess what it's
- 9:06Speaker 1: gonna take all you got in that world to become
- 9:11Speaker 1: a success. I don't know why people think that if
- 9:15Speaker 1: you don't want to be what somebody else say, you
- 9:17Speaker 1: ain't got to put forth that effort, Nana, I ain't wrong.
- 9:20Speaker 1: You've got to put forth your maximum effort at whatever
- 9:23Speaker 1: role you're trying to accomplish. Lord, have mercy. Man. How
- 9:27Speaker 1: about today, though, y'all, how about today today as a
- 9:30Speaker 1: good one. Let's make today today. Let's get out of that.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Let's get on with it. Stop hesitating, stop delaying, stop procrastinating,
- 9:38Speaker 1: start today. Watch God have something to put his finger
- 9:43Speaker 1: on there. And that's all you're trying to do. Man,
- 9:45Speaker 1: to line yourself up with God's grace. You got to
- 9:48Speaker 1: put out a lot of effort so God can put
- 9:51Speaker 1: his finger on something. You feel me today, I shall
- 9:53Speaker 1: hope you do, because I'm on one today. Let's go.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening, ladies and shiitter man. I am here, but
- 10:05Speaker 1: I'm not here alone. I come to you with the
- 10:07Speaker 1: group of people who are just as excited, Jess as
- 10:11Speaker 1: enthusiastic about bringing you the morning show. Before we get started,
- 10:16Speaker 1: we would like to say to you, please, please lend
- 10:20Speaker 1: yourself heavily to gratitude. Start thinking about it on a
- 10:25Speaker 1: daily basis. Y'all, be grateful you are here. You are
- 10:28Speaker 1: getting the daily news of people not being here, and
- 10:31Speaker 1: if you're still receiving the news, the fact remains that
- 10:35Speaker 1: you are not the news. So I am grateful that
- 10:38Speaker 1: I am not that news of the day. Thank you
- 10:42Speaker 1: for life, for health, for strength, and for awareness, but
- 10:46Speaker 1: most of all, thank you for gratitude. Oh man, Let
- 10:50Speaker 1: the church say a man, a man that was an
- 10:55Speaker 1: enthusiastic group. Let the church say amen, Amen, thank you

- 20:45Speaker 1: it's going down all right? Thank you. Nephew Coming up next,
- 20:48Speaker 1: asked the CLO Chief Love Officer Steve Harvey in the
- 20:52Speaker 1: building with your love questions. Right after this, you're listening
- 20:56Speaker 1: to Steve Morning Show coming up at the time of
- 21:00Speaker 1: the hour. In entertainment news, suspects wanted in the Young
- 21:04Speaker 1: Dolph murder cases are captured, plus Kanye West back in
- 21:08Speaker 1: the news. Steve, he is going to perform for the
- 21:11Speaker 1: Russian President Vladimir Putin. Will tell you about it at
- 21:15Speaker 1: the top of the hour. Already know, I know right
- 21:21Speaker 1: now it's time for as to CLO. Chief Love Officer
- 21:26Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building reporting for Love duty. This
- 21:31Speaker 1: question is from m Ranada in Camden. Ranada says, my
- 21:35Speaker 1: husband and I had COVID last week and I quarantine,
- 21:38Speaker 1: but he went to work because he doesn't have contact
- 21:41Speaker 1: with the public. Last week, his supervisor call to see
- 21:45Speaker 1: when he'd return to work because she called him and
- 21:48Speaker 1: he hasn't returned any of her calls. He was going
- 21:52Speaker 1: somewhere daily but besides work. So I put his COVID
- 21:56Speaker 1: status on Facebook and now he's mad. I think we're even,
- 22:00Speaker 1: but he swears he was at work. Was I wrong
- 22:02Speaker 1: for doing that? WHOA wait a minute, did you have
- 22:06Speaker 1: you skipped something? Lady? Did she leave something out the story?
- 22:12Speaker 1: Your husband says he was going to work every day
- 22:15Speaker 1: because he don't have to have social contact. His boss
- 22:18Speaker 1: call saying he ain't been at work. You take his
- 22:21Speaker 1: COVID status and put it on Facebook? Was I wrong
- 22:24Speaker 1: for that? What? What happened to? Where the hell you been?
- 22:33Speaker 1: Why wasn't you at work? Where all that at? Did
- 22:38Speaker 1: you think me putting his COVID status on Facebook was
- 22:42Speaker 1: wrong for that? I think I think you. I think
- 22:45Speaker 1: you're missing a lot of information. I don't think the
- 22:49Speaker 1: problem is he not telling people he got COVID. I
- 22:56Speaker 1: don't think that's the problem. And if I have to
- 22:58Speaker 1: tell you what the problem is after reading this letter,
- 23:01Speaker 1: this question on the air, then you have another problem
- 23:05Speaker 1: and I'm not gonna be able to solve it. In
- 23:06Speaker 1: the CLO segment, next question, Shirley, all right. Moving on,
- 23:10Speaker 1: Mary and Virginia Beach says, we're not doing this in
- 23:13Speaker 1: twenty twenty two. I've told y'all twenty twenty two because
- 23:17Speaker 1: I'm a judge. Now. Your tolerance level is low, hush,
- 23:21Speaker 1: very low. Mary and Virginia Beach says, I'm married in
- 23:26Speaker 1: my late fifties and I'm having an affair with an
- 23:29Speaker 1: older man that lives down the street from my house.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I walk in the neighborhood a few days a week,
- 23:34Speaker 1: and I stopped by to see him while I'm out.
- 23:37Speaker 1: All he wants to do is kiss and caress me.
- 23:40Speaker 1: But I'm ready for more than that. He told me,
- 23:43Speaker 1: we're not ready to go all the way Joe yet,
- 23:46Speaker 1: Does this mean he's not that into men? That don't
- 23:49Speaker 1: mean at all. See if you and your late fifties
- 23:53Speaker 1: and you're having an affair with a man down the street, now,
- 23:57Speaker 1: let me ask you something. Is it in a fair
- 24:00Speaker 1: because he's married? Isn't an affair because you're married? Because
- 24:08Speaker 1: I thought in a fair mint one of you all were.
- 24:12Speaker 1: She's been married for sure, she's married for sure? Yeah
- 24:16Speaker 1: he didn't. She didn't the street. Oh she said I'm married.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Oh I I didn't hear that all? Oh married? Oh Mary? Okay, okay, Well,
- 24:29Speaker 1: a couple of things could be happening. Since you in
- 24:32Speaker 1: your late fifties, he could be in his late fifties
- 24:35Speaker 1: early sixties, and that could be a situation where he
- 24:38Speaker 1: really is trying to figure you out, trying to assess
- 24:42Speaker 1: the danger because he know you're married and you are
- 24:45Speaker 1: for a walk, keep trying to make sure ain't nobody
- 24:47Speaker 1: gonna walk up roll up on him? Or secondly, you know,
- 24:51Speaker 1: he got to get a couple of things together. You know,
- 24:54Speaker 1: that could be medicine involved here, apparatus has involved hell.
- 25:00Speaker 1: You know, maybe he needs an hour, you know, advanced
- 25:04Speaker 1: warning that you're coming. You know, a lot of things
- 25:07Speaker 1: could be happening right here. So you know you wanted
- 25:10Speaker 1: to go all the way. You know, you take a
- 25:11Speaker 1: little highday at home. What you need to do because
- 25:14Speaker 1: you run him here and messed up into the season
- 25:16Speaker 1: pro right here and this season pro got to assess
- 25:19Speaker 1: the situation. So those are the things that I would
- 25:21Speaker 1: be worried about and just keep stopping about the Eventually
- 25:24Speaker 1: he gonna time it just right and everything afloat got it.
- 25:31Speaker 1: He's right down the street. Her husband, see, you need
- 25:35Speaker 1: to move further down the street so he can see
- 25:38Speaker 1: you coming up the street and get more time. But
- 25:41Speaker 1: that right down the street, that ain't enough time? Too much,
- 25:47Speaker 1: all right? Moving on to Belinda and Minneapolis. Belinda Rights,
- 25:51Speaker 1: I'm a single parent of a twenty one year old
- 25:53Speaker 1: and an eighteen year old. My children and I share
- 25:56Speaker 1: a car, and I trust that they will take care
- 25:58Speaker 1: of it. I usually have to clean it out myself,
- 26:01Speaker 1: and I was very upset to find a condom wrapper
- 26:03Speaker 1: under my driver's seat. My son is twenty one and
- 26:06Speaker 1: swears it's not his. My eighteen year old daughter says
- 26:09Speaker 1: it doesn't belong to her. Should I stop allowing them
- 26:13Speaker 1: to use my car? Well, ma'am, I can't tell you
- 26:18Speaker 1: what to do. I've never been in this situation before.
- 26:22Speaker 1: My father never shared a damn thing with us car, Hammel,
- 26:28Speaker 1: You know how shoes, TV, water, jaw in the refrigerator.
- 26:36Speaker 1: He's never shared anything with us. So your parent, your
- 26:40Speaker 1: parody skills are far. You at a high level of
- 26:43Speaker 1: parents skills. I didn't have a daddy that shard note
- 26:46Speaker 1: with me, so I don't know what you're talking about.
- 26:48Speaker 1: It belongs to the boy. You and I both know
- 26:52Speaker 1: it belongs to the damn boy. Okay, now, as an
- 26:59Speaker 1: outside possibility that belongs to the girl, But I doubt it.
- 27:03Speaker 1: It belongs to that damn boy. You and I both
- 27:08Speaker 1: know it. Now, you could just point it out and
- 27:11Speaker 1: tell him he can't use the car for the next month,
- 27:16Speaker 1: and you'll discover that there won't be any condoms in
- 27:19Speaker 1: your car for a month. Now. If you allow him
- 27:23Speaker 1: back into the condom month, then you can start looking
- 27:26Speaker 1: for condoms again. You know, hal well, that condom belonged
- 27:30Speaker 1: to that damn boy. Let's stop this next question shire,
- 27:34Speaker 1: All right? Connie in Las Vegas says, for my fiftieth
- 27:37Speaker 1: birthday last year, I took some implied new pictures. All
- 27:41Speaker 1: of my important goodies are covered up, and I'm in
- 27:44Speaker 1: my natural state of beauty. I want to put one
- 27:47Speaker 1: of the pictures in the basement over the bar, and
- 27:50Speaker 1: the other one in my sitting room in our bedroom.
- 27:53Speaker 1: My husband said they're too revealing and won't let me
- 27:55Speaker 1: put them up. Does he get the final say on
- 27:58Speaker 1: this matter? I'm sorry, yeah, do you know if you're
- 28:02Speaker 1: gonna have people over, right, you know, if you're gonna
- 28:08Speaker 1: have people over, I'm pretty sure that's why he don't
- 28:11Speaker 1: want them up. Where did this all of a sudden,
- 28:13Speaker 1: this need to be seen come from in your fifties
- 28:18Speaker 1: for her? You know, you know he's probably nice looking
- 28:21Speaker 1: in everything, and congratulations, but your husband don't want your
- 28:25Speaker 1: your that's your public place. And if y'all want to
- 28:27Speaker 1: put it up in your bedroom, maybe that would be okay.
- 28:31Speaker 1: But if you want to put it up, huh. She
- 28:34Speaker 1: does want to put one in her bedroom, but she
- 28:36Speaker 1: want to put one over the bar. And the last
- 28:38Speaker 1: thing you need is his friend downstairs drinking looking over
- 28:42Speaker 1: the top of that glass with the ass you know,
- 28:45Speaker 1: you know, you know how you make your ass just
- 28:47Speaker 1: look over the top of that glass or how they're drinking. Yeah,
- 28:51Speaker 1: I ain't now and his other hand, you can't see it.
- 28:53Speaker 1: That's what you don't want downstairs, and then you're and
- 29:00Speaker 1: then your face gonna be coming in. First question, man,
- 29:03Speaker 1: who the hell is this thing? Right hill? Thank you Cello.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, entertainment news
- 29:12Speaker 1: and trending headlines. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 29:15Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, So today is Founder's
- 29:21Speaker 1: Day for the Ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Congratulated Sigma. Yeah, Deltas. What's up miss Monica, Monica, you
- 29:34Speaker 1: gotta peer me it up. Yeah, it's the congratulations Monica,
- 29:43Speaker 1: Sisters of Delta Sigma Theta. Lord have mercy, look for
- 29:47Speaker 1: God made you. I never seen it, never thought that
- 29:53Speaker 1: I found. But I looked up and I fell in
- 29:55Speaker 1: love with a girl like an elephunt. I was sitting
- 29:59Speaker 1: there looking I can't do that point on the air.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I tried to think, Yeah, I can't go that's the
- 30:09Speaker 1: one I can't do outside. But who but them Deltas
- 30:16Speaker 1: him Mercy, yes, and and I really really really dedicated
- 30:26Speaker 1: organization of women. They do so much philanthropic work, as
- 30:33Speaker 1: do all of them. But them Deltas is out there
- 30:35Speaker 1: in the forefront man and getting some things done out there.
- 30:39Speaker 1: So congratulations to the Delta, Sigma Theta. Uh my Deltas. Oh,
- 30:46Speaker 1: Kim Willy's a delta too, right, All my daughters are Deltas, Okay,
- 30:52Speaker 1: all right, all right. In other trending entertainment news, Kanye
- 30:56Speaker 1: west oversized ego is about to inflate even more. Check
- 31:01Speaker 1: this out, Steve. Now, Kanye has arranged a meeting with
- 31:05Speaker 1: Russian President bat Vladimir Putin, and he wants to perform
- 31:10Speaker 1: in Moscow. Kanye plans to invite Putin to attend the
- 31:14Speaker 1: Sunday Service Gospel concert as a special guest. The show
- 31:19Speaker 1: will likely be held at the sports venue that hosted
- 31:22Speaker 1: the nineteen eighties Summer Olympics. This trip, of course, is
- 31:26Speaker 1: going to be problematic. The US Department of State advises,
- 31:31Speaker 1: do not travel to Russia. Is he reading the news?
- 31:36Speaker 1: Does he not know what's happening with Ukraine right now?
- 31:38Speaker 1: But let me finish. Let me finish. You gotta hear
- 31:41Speaker 1: what his lawyer says. Putin has a mass troops on
- 31:44Speaker 1: the border of Ukraine and threatened to invade invade the Ukraine.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Kanye's lawyer told Billboard that Kanye knows what's going on
- 31:53Speaker 1: more than the average human being. It's nothing against the
- 31:57Speaker 1: US or to cause conflicts, but Yay is yay, and
- 32:00Speaker 1: he can't be controlled. Okay, So if you get stuck
- 32:03Speaker 1: over there, well see that's what that's where the problem is.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Yea is Yeah, this is his lawyer talking, and ya
- 32:10Speaker 1: can't be controlled somebody. See that's that's See, that's the problem. Man.
- 32:15Speaker 1: When you ain't got nobody in your camp that can
- 32:17Speaker 1: tell you nothing, I'm telling you, that's a major problem.
- 32:21Speaker 1: You have to have somebody willing to stand up and go,
- 32:24Speaker 1: hey man, you're not doing that because and it can
- 32:27Speaker 1: start with his lawyer, because first of all, you gotta
- 32:29Speaker 1: get some paperwork to go to Russia and perform. You
- 32:32Speaker 1: gotta get some paperwork. Kanye don't know how to fill
- 32:34Speaker 1: out paperwork. I'm gonna tell you that right now. So
- 32:37Speaker 1: he has people who aid and obeyed a lot of
- 32:40Speaker 1: these dumb ass decisions. You got no First of all,
- 32:43Speaker 1: Putin don't give a damn about you, because Putin don't
- 32:46Speaker 1: give a damn about nothing. Russia don't give a damn
- 32:50Speaker 1: about America. Now you're fitting to find out. You look,
- 32:53Speaker 1: Dennis Robin took his dumb ass over there to North Korea.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Why would you go over there? You're not listen, man,
- 33:00Speaker 1: dictatorship country. Kanye yay is yeay. This is his lawyer.
- 33:05Speaker 1: And the Lord ain't got nothing to do with this.
- 33:07Speaker 1: The Lord ain't told Kanye to do this. Yeah bro
- 33:10Speaker 1: that yeah bro, this ain't the move. But go ahead though,
- 33:13Speaker 1: because see that's once again your ego get in the way.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Thank you, bigger than all of it. And and I'm
- 33:19Speaker 1: not so sure if this is to try to spread
- 33:23Speaker 1: the gospel more he is than to try to spread
- 33:27Speaker 1: easy the gospel is freak because you know that well
- 33:34Speaker 1: quote his lawyer said, he knows what's going on more
- 33:37Speaker 1: than the average human being. It's laying against the US
- 33:40Speaker 1: or to cause conflicts. But yeah, yea, he can't be controlled.
- 33:43Speaker 1: He can't be controlled. But but but but I'm telling
- 33:46Speaker 1: you you can get your ass control when you get
- 33:49Speaker 1: into that international stuff. Though, in a way with the
- 33:53Speaker 1: problem a country that has a problem right now? Do
- 33:56Speaker 1: you know that they're talking about putting sanctions on Russia
- 33:59Speaker 1: right now? Are you familiar with this clean and all
- 34:03Speaker 1: of that. They don't And they don't even have a
- 34:06Speaker 1: stadium for him to stay at. They don't even have
- 34:08Speaker 1: that for him. Dog, I'll tell you what. I'll tell
- 34:12Speaker 1: you what. I tell you what. Don't take your ass
- 34:14Speaker 1: over that. Go ahead, but don't call us go ahead. Yeah.
- 34:18Speaker 1: And the other day Kanye had dinner with Antonio Brown.
- 34:22Speaker 1: He did not. Don't that ass at all. You have
- 34:26Speaker 1: got to be lying. Don't had dinner with Antonio Brown
- 34:34Speaker 1: when you get in this much trouble and that's your
- 34:38Speaker 1: go to dinner body, in fact, conversation over dinner. What
- 34:44Speaker 1: they're talking about that dinner? Dog, I'm going to Russia?
- 34:47Speaker 1: Go ahead, I got your back. Yeah, Hey, can you
- 34:54Speaker 1: start a football team in Russia? When you get over
- 34:57Speaker 1: the conversation, this is it is. That's that's amazing that
- 35:08Speaker 1: I didn't know him and Antonio had dinner. Yeah. Yeah,
- 35:12Speaker 1: they said they're gonna do some studio work together. I
- 35:15Speaker 1: probably got the same doctor, But dog, I mean I
- 35:20Speaker 1: heard I heard Antonio's uh from the pit to the
- 35:24Speaker 1: palace or something like that. I heard that you liked it.
- 35:31Speaker 1: What was he talking about? Like? I was trying to
- 35:37Speaker 1: like it, but dog, I was trying to figure out
- 35:39Speaker 1: maybe this could be a lateral movement from the NFL
- 35:42Speaker 1: to WRAP. I had no concept of what he was
- 35:46Speaker 1: talking about in this song. Who's on the phone with
- 35:51Speaker 1: that song? Right? All right? Coming up with twenty minutes
- 35:56Speaker 1: after the hour, some trending voting rights news will do
- 35:59Speaker 1: that right after this. You're listening to the same morning show.
- 36:04Speaker 1: On Tuesday, President Biden and Vice President Harris were in Atlanta,
- 36:08Speaker 1: and they pay their respects to the wreath at the wreath,
- 36:12Speaker 1: I should say, laying at the crypt of Reverend Martin
- 36:14Speaker 1: Luther King Junior and Coretta Scott King. Before he delivered
- 36:17Speaker 1: his speech on the Freedom to Vote and the John
- 36:20Speaker 1: Lewis Voting Rights Act. The President said he's tired of
- 36:24Speaker 1: being quiet. Take a listen, debate them, vote, Let the
- 36:28Speaker 1: majority prevail, and if that very minimum is blocked, we
- 36:32Speaker 1: have no option but to change the center rules, including
- 36:35Speaker 1: getting rid of the filibuster. For this. He was upset
- 36:39Speaker 1: on this speech. It was pretty fiery. The filibuster requires
- 36:43Speaker 1: sixty votes to advance legislation. Democrats hold a majority in
- 36:47Speaker 1: the fifty fifty Senate, and Vice President Harris can break
- 36:50Speaker 1: that tie. However, some voting rights groups in Atlanta boycotted
- 36:55Speaker 1: President Biden's speech because they want action, and others questioned
- 36:59Speaker 1: why Georgia governor candidate Stacy Abrams skipped the president's speech.
- 37:04Speaker 1: The President said that he and Stacy Abrams are on
- 37:07Speaker 1: the same page and it was just a scheduling conflict.
- 37:11Speaker 1: So you know, we're just saying, please go to when
- 37:14Speaker 1: we all vote dot org and register to vote. You
- 37:17Speaker 1: can do that on this MLK Day weekend. They are
- 37:22Speaker 1: doing everything to suppress this vote. Yeah, and you have
- 37:26Speaker 1: to understand what they're trying to do is make sure
- 37:29Speaker 1: that the minority can rule the majority. That are far
- 37:35Speaker 1: more people that are non Conservatives than that are, so
- 37:40Speaker 1: the Conservatives are doing everything in their power to gain control.
- 37:45Speaker 1: That's why you will not get rid of the electoral
- 37:48Speaker 1: college vote. They will not allow you to get rid
- 37:51Speaker 1: of the filibuster. They are making all these laws. They're
- 37:54Speaker 1: trying to shorten the window for absentee ballot voting. They're
- 37:59Speaker 1: trying to make it more difficult with variations of ID
- 38:02Speaker 1: they're trying to shorten polling times, they're closing polling stations,
- 38:07Speaker 1: They're doing everything in their power to dishearten and discredit
- 38:12Speaker 1: voters who are not conservative or this country is in
- 38:17Speaker 1: a sad, sad state when it comes to how we
- 38:21Speaker 1: elect embody because the minority wants to control the majority, right,
- 38:28Speaker 1: and this is an election year or two. So, but
- 38:31Speaker 1: what's up with Mansion in Virginia the Democrat. I'm explaining
- 38:35Speaker 1: something to you that the here's a deal, that's a ploy.
- 38:40Speaker 1: He is heavily funded by the Republican Party. He is
- 38:45Speaker 1: a ploy. He's not a Democrat. He don't ever vote
- 38:48Speaker 1: for Democratic stuff. He says he's a Democrat to get
- 38:52Speaker 1: the Democratic vote in or West Virginia. But then all
- 38:58Speaker 1: the Conservatives gonna vote for him because they know in
- 39:01Speaker 1: secret that he's really a conservative. And then the Democrats
- 39:04Speaker 1: vote for him because he's a Democrat. So he keeps
- 39:06Speaker 1: getting reelected. But he's a plant. He's really a Republican.
- 39:10Speaker 1: He's not a Democrat at all. We'll stop thinking. They

- 42:57Speaker 1: not add up though I was coming. How could something
- 43:02Speaker 1: so fun come from this person is sitting across had
- 43:11Speaker 1: a beautiful word I'm talking about I am as sister Man.
- 43:13Speaker 1: I was about twenty two. I met this girl over
- 43:18Speaker 1: the phone or another girl had introduced it was a
- 43:21Speaker 1: blind day. We talked over the phone. Man who about
- 43:25Speaker 1: about four five days? Man the vision I had to
- 43:28Speaker 1: this girl boy we met could Lord Jesus I was sitting,
- 43:35Speaker 1: I was a voice. I thought I was probably gonna
- 43:43Speaker 1: be sitting with Janet Jackson maybe you know Hallie. You know,
- 43:50Speaker 1: I thought maybe i'd be over there. And I wore
- 43:52Speaker 1: my best because I had to be in my best
- 43:54Speaker 1: because I didn't have a lot then, so I had
- 43:56Speaker 1: to get my game up. And when I was sitting,
- 43:58Speaker 1: I actually and I kid you not, that was at
- 44:00Speaker 1: one point I thought I was talking to a man. Okay,

- 44:19Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Coming up at the
- 44:23Speaker 1: top of the hour, right about four minutes after. It's
- 44:26Speaker 1: my strawberry letter for today, the subject she only wants
- 44:30Speaker 1: to be a baby mama. We'll get into that in
- 44:33Speaker 1: just a little bit, because right now the nephew is here.
- 44:36Speaker 1: Who today, Frank Bone call who? Who? You say? The nephew?
- 44:41Speaker 1: You know your name? What's the good? Yeah? This week
- 44:46Speaker 1: I am mister Jackson, Miss Sippet, That's who I am
- 44:50Speaker 1: this week. I have my mind right on way I'm going.
- 44:53Speaker 1: But anyway, kat Dog, listen right here is garnish your wages,
- 44:58Speaker 1: garnish your You've had it done, befoe. We all have
- 45:02Speaker 1: here we go, we have Hello, I'm trying to reach
- 45:07Speaker 1: a place. My name is Uh from the District Attorney's office. Yes, Hi,
- 45:13Speaker 1: How are you giving you a call today? Ma'am? Trying
- 45:16Speaker 1: to get some updates from you. Your husband, mister is
- 45:19Speaker 1: he uh still not working at this point? No, sir? Okay,
- 45:24Speaker 1: how long has he been out of work so far? Ma'am?
- 45:26Speaker 1: Could you could you give me an update on this January? Okay?
- 45:32Speaker 1: All right, here's what we're having. The problems that we're having.
- 45:34Speaker 1: You have a son, I think it's his name is
- 45:38Speaker 1: as well, fourteen years old, am I right? Okay? The
- 45:42Speaker 1: child support is not being paid for from mister for
- 45:47Speaker 1: the for mister young and we're trying to get this
- 45:50Speaker 1: thing rectified. Now. The problem that we're gonna have in
- 45:53Speaker 1: the reason why we're giving you a call is considering
- 45:55Speaker 1: that your your husband hasn't worked since the first of
- 45:57Speaker 1: the year. And I haven't done the research yet. I'm
- 46:00Speaker 1: just I'm just not pulling up your file. I haven't
- 46:02Speaker 1: done the research to see how many months in the
- 46:04Speaker 1: rears he is on child support. It just started once
- 46:09Speaker 1: um he lost his child. Okay, Well, the problem that
- 46:13Speaker 1: we're going to have is they're gonna start taking uh
- 46:17Speaker 1: child support actually, and I hate to give you this
- 46:21Speaker 1: news out of your check until I don't understand how
- 46:24Speaker 1: that sell because I have my own kids. I understand that.
- 46:27Speaker 1: I understand, But they're gonna be garnishing your check, ma'am
- 46:30Speaker 1: until this until your husband can get this thing back
- 46:32Speaker 1: on its feet and get it rectified and get him
- 46:35Speaker 1: up to parts four of all the payments that are hurt.
- 46:37Speaker 1: But not and when will this be taking place? Because
- 46:38Speaker 1: if that's the case, I'm not gonna be working because
- 46:41Speaker 1: that's not gonna happen. I have my own children, so
- 46:44Speaker 1: I don't understand how it is that for self, I
- 46:46Speaker 1: don't don't have anything to do with child for it
- 46:48Speaker 1: or anything like that. And if that's the case, I'm
- 46:50Speaker 1: not gonna be working as a right now. The garnishing
- 46:53Speaker 1: of the check is gonna come from you. And you
- 46:54Speaker 1: are at the hospital, correct now, that's not you, it's
- 46:57Speaker 1: not where you work. I'm not gonna be because as
- 47:00Speaker 1: of right now, that's what I just teld you. So
- 47:03Speaker 1: y'all do whatever you have to do, and how do
- 47:04Speaker 1: whatever I have to do on my end? Okay, well,
- 47:06Speaker 1: hold on it. You're willing to quit your job. I'm
- 47:08Speaker 1: not understanding this. You're sure white because I'm not gonna
- 47:11Speaker 1: be taking care of someone else's kids and I have
- 47:13Speaker 1: my own, So how that's right? So somebody else can
- 47:16Speaker 1: take care of my eyes then, because I'm not going
- 47:18Speaker 1: to be doing it, you're so right? All right? Well,
- 47:20Speaker 1: I mean I'm just saying, you know, don't. I don't
- 47:21Speaker 1: want you to be upset with you. I don't want
- 47:23Speaker 1: you to be upset with me. I can be able
- 47:25Speaker 1: to contact you, Okay, you know I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 47:29Speaker 1: let you know this. It's a bit of information. You're
- 47:31Speaker 1: still gonna if you're quitting your job. Man, you guys
- 47:34Speaker 1: are still gonna be liable for the child's support. Okay,
- 47:37Speaker 1: Well that's fine, not you guys, because it's not my children.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Say okay, it's not your guys. He will be liable okay,
- 47:46Speaker 1: because I don't, I mean cannot step you hold my
- 47:48Speaker 1: moment because I need to step outside. If that's okay,
- 47:51Speaker 1: or if there's a number I can contact you back. Okay,
- 47:53Speaker 1: are you able to step outside right now. Um, yes,
- 47:56Speaker 1: but I'm gonna get on the elevator and it's gonna
- 47:59Speaker 1: kind of so call. Okay, let's do this. Why don't
- 48:01Speaker 1: you step outside. I'll wait for you to call. Give
- 48:04Speaker 1: me about forty five seconds, but I'm gonna give a
- 48:06Speaker 1: call to my manager on this situation. Okay, please do
- 48:08Speaker 1: stack all right, thank you? Hello, okay, mister, yes, sir,
- 48:16Speaker 1: all right again from the district Attorney's office. Okay, you
- 48:19Speaker 1: can hear me now, yes, I can. Can you hear me? Yes, ma'am,
- 48:22Speaker 1: I sure can. Now, let's get to the bottom of everything.
- 48:24Speaker 1: I couldn't get my manager on the phone, but I'll
- 48:27Speaker 1: keep trying. I just want to know. I mean, that's
- 48:30Speaker 1: I'm just as mennger letting you. I know you are,
- 48:33Speaker 1: and I hate to be so short with you, but
- 48:36Speaker 1: I don't understand because we're not even getting enough. Ain't
- 48:38Speaker 1: come coming in as of right now. And you're speaking
- 48:41Speaker 1: of I have three children that I'm struggling to take
- 48:44Speaker 1: care of all my owner somebody districts. But and you're
- 48:50Speaker 1: speaking of then you're going to be deducting money. F
- 48:53Speaker 1: I'm gonna share my check for his chist worth what's
- 48:56Speaker 1: your something? What's your name? Man? Who's it's just someone
- 49:00Speaker 1: else I need to speak with. No, we're on the phone,
- 49:02Speaker 1: I have. That's my sister taking care of some bass.
- 49:06Speaker 1: We're probably District attorney County ma'am. Yeah, she's on the
- 49:12Speaker 1: line from the office of Child Support Service. She works
- 49:15Speaker 1: with the Oxy child Support. Okay, I speak with you.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Let me speak with your sister. Man, So what do
- 49:21Speaker 1: you I mean, how is this going to be done?
- 49:23Speaker 1: Because that's not gonna leave me to cast a band
- 49:26Speaker 1: to support my own kids. Well, I mean in my
- 49:29Speaker 1: own home. I understand that. You know, maybe this is
- 49:32Speaker 1: a problem with having a person hanging around A person's
- 49:36Speaker 1: raised the seat about his kids all their life. This
- 49:39Speaker 1: is a jealous mother that decided optim eighteen years that
- 49:43Speaker 1: she wanted to go around said, because that's his support order,
- 49:52Speaker 1: that's my support order for me. What in the hell

- 52:01Speaker 1: you and it's been said and done, I'm anticipating that's

- 52:10Speaker 1: the Okay, on your on your obituary or at the funeral.
- 52:16Speaker 1: What do you want people to say about you? Ah? Well,

- 53:57Speaker 1: gonna do this one right here, right now, and you
- 53:59Speaker 1: never know, it could be yours. You never know, You
- 54:02Speaker 1: never know. Buckle up and hold on tight. We got
- 54:04Speaker 1: it for you here. It is subject, she Only wants
- 54:08Speaker 1: to be a baby Mama. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm a
- 54:12Speaker 1: thirty three year old single woman and my longtime friend
- 54:15Speaker 1: has two children by my brother. He's a business owner
- 54:19Speaker 1: and he's in several civic organizations in our city. From
- 54:23Speaker 1: the outside looking in, it looks like his life is
- 54:26Speaker 1: in order, but it's not. He's been going through ups
- 54:29Speaker 1: and downs with my friend for many years. My friend
- 54:32Speaker 1: is in love with the lifestyle my brother gives her,
- 54:36Speaker 1: but she does not want to settle down and marry him.
- 54:39Speaker 1: She has the best of both worlds because he loves
- 54:41Speaker 1: her enough to let her do whatever she wants to do.
- 54:44Speaker 1: She's been on vacation since New Year's Day, when she
- 54:47Speaker 1: flew to Tulum with her sisters. I have been helping
- 54:50Speaker 1: my brother take care of their daughters, ages five and seven,
- 54:54Speaker 1: and it's not my responsibility, but I love my nieces
- 54:58Speaker 1: to pieces. I've called my friend several times on FaceTime
- 55:03Speaker 1: when I'm with her daughters, and she doesn't answer or
- 55:05Speaker 1: call back. My brother told me that she is up
- 55:08Speaker 1: to something because she hasn't posted any pictures on her
- 55:12Speaker 1: social media. That's odd because my friend is always posting
- 55:16Speaker 1: pictures of her great body and beautiful surroundings. I took
- 55:19Speaker 1: this opportunity to tell my brother that he should give
- 55:22Speaker 1: my friend back to the streets because she's happy just
- 55:25Speaker 1: being a baby mama. She's the it girl in our
- 55:29Speaker 1: city and she knows she can have anyone she wants,
- 55:33Speaker 1: but she hangs onto my brother or a financial security.
- 55:36Speaker 1: My brother is almost forty, and he told me that
- 55:39Speaker 1: he wants to get married and raise his girls in
- 55:41Speaker 1: a two parent household, but my friend told him she's
- 55:44Speaker 1: too young to get married. I would love to tell
- 55:47Speaker 1: my friend to stop playing with my brother's heart, but
- 55:50Speaker 1: I don't want to get into the middle of this
- 55:51Speaker 1: big mess. What do I say when my brother asked
- 55:55Speaker 1: for my advice again? Huh No, I just say yeah, wow, yeah.
- 56:02Speaker 1: I mean, listen, I know you love your brother, and
- 56:05Speaker 1: I know you love your nieces. Like you said, you
- 56:07Speaker 1: love your nieces to pieces. I mean, you can give
- 56:09Speaker 1: him your opinion, he asked, So tell him what you think.
- 56:12Speaker 1: You're kind of in the in it anyway, because it's
- 56:15Speaker 1: your friend and you know what's going on with them.
- 56:18Speaker 1: He'll probably do what he wants to anyway, but at
- 56:21Speaker 1: least he'll know your thoughts on this situation. Say what
- 56:26Speaker 1: you gotta say, then stay out of it. I mean,
- 56:29Speaker 1: you know, and he knows that his baby mama is
- 56:31Speaker 1: trifling and irresponsible. He still loves her, but he definitely
- 56:35Speaker 1: needs to move on with his life. If this is
- 56:37Speaker 1: all he can get it. He wants more, if he
- 56:40Speaker 1: can get joint or full custody of their kids. I
- 56:42Speaker 1: think that's a start to having a happy and stable life.
- 56:46Speaker 1: He wants this for himself and especially for his girls.
- 56:50Speaker 1: He then won't have to finance her lifestyle like he's
- 56:53Speaker 1: doing now either. So you should tell him not to
- 56:57Speaker 1: worry about baby mama. She is who she is and
- 57:00Speaker 1: she isn't going to change right now. He, on the
- 57:03Speaker 1: other hand, when he gets out of this mess, if
- 57:06Speaker 1: he gets out of this mess, he can very well
- 57:08Speaker 1: meet someone else start a new family with them and
- 57:10Speaker 1: the kids. I say, life is short, and he deserves
- 57:13Speaker 1: to have the love and the life he chooses, and
- 57:17Speaker 1: that's what you should tell him. Steve. You know, this
- 57:22Speaker 1: letter has a couple of things in it that most
- 57:28Speaker 1: of us don't like. This lady who's writing a letter
- 57:32Speaker 1: has a long time friend that's got two children by
- 57:35Speaker 1: her brother. Now. She says that he's a business owner
- 57:39Speaker 1: and he's in several civic organizations in our city. See
- 57:44Speaker 1: listen to that line right there, he's in several civic
- 57:47Speaker 1: organizations in our city. I'm telling y'all right now, without
- 57:52Speaker 1: knowing this, this is a small town letter right here.
- 57:55Speaker 1: This is a small town letter right here. This ain't
- 57:59Speaker 1: nobody from DC or you know New York. You know,
- 58:04Speaker 1: this ain't nobody in la This ain't Atlanta. It's a
- 58:08Speaker 1: small town letter. He's in several civic organizations in our city.
- 58:13Speaker 1: What the hell did that mean? You know, from the
- 58:16Speaker 1: outside looking in, he seems like his life is in order,
- 58:19Speaker 1: but he's not. He's been going through the ups and
- 58:22Speaker 1: downs with her friends for a lot of years, for
- 58:24Speaker 1: many years, for many years that he know to that.
- 58:29Speaker 1: My friend is in love with the lifestyle that my
- 58:32Speaker 1: brother gives her. But she does not want to settle
- 58:34Speaker 1: down and marry him. No, you know why because she
- 58:39Speaker 1: running game. And that's all this is from here on out.
- 58:42Speaker 1: And it's a shame that your brother don't see it.
- 58:46Speaker 1: She's got the best of both worlds because he loves
- 58:49Speaker 1: her enough to let her to do whatever she wants
- 58:51Speaker 1: to do. She's been on vacation since New Year's Day,
- 58:54Speaker 1: when she flew to tell him with her sister's wars,
- 58:58Speaker 1: tell him anybody too many well seeing us high. You know,
- 59:07Speaker 1: God has blessed me to be able to travel the world.
- 59:11Speaker 1: I'm not familiar with it. It's obviously not a big
- 59:17Speaker 1: ball of shot caller place, because I would have heard
- 59:20Speaker 1: from my friends by now. So now once again we're
- 59:24Speaker 1: going back to this a small town to ass letter. Now,
- 59:30Speaker 1: she downed there with her sisters, and now you've been
- 59:33Speaker 1: helping your brother take care of the daughters, who's five
- 59:35Speaker 1: and seven, and it ain't your responsibility, but you love
- 59:38Speaker 1: them to pieces. And you call your friend a bunch
- 59:41Speaker 1: of times on FaceTime when I'm with her daughters, and
- 59:43Speaker 1: she don't answer or called back. My brother told me
- 59:46Speaker 1: she's up to something because she ain't posted any pictures
- 59:49Speaker 1: on her social media. And that's all right, because my
- 59:52Speaker 1: friend is always posting pictures of her great body and
- 59:56Speaker 1: beautiful surroundings. That's it in a nuts shell, you saying it.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: She from a small town, but she got a great body.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Your brother is strong and snapped over the fact that
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: he got one of the baddest chicks in town with
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: the bad body. That's all this is after that is ignorant.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: We'll get into that when I came back. We'll have
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: part two coming up at twenty three minutes after the hours.
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry letter subject is she only wants to be
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: a baby mama. We'll get back into it right after this.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: You're listening, Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, come on, Steve,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter, the subject she only wants
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: to be a baby mama. This letter right here, I
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: finally got to the crux of what's going on here.
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: She only want to be a baby mama. This woman
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: that wrote the letter has a girlfriend, her best friend,
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: who's been dating her brother for us many years. She
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: has two children, daughters five and seven. The man wants more,
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: but the girl don't want to be more to him
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: because she likes lifestyle. He's a business owner, he's in
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: several civic organizations in our town. Whatever that means. So
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: that means, you know, he's you know, I don't mean
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: he got some fake titles. That's what they mean. Fake
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: titles sitting on the board. Yeah, du yeah do anyway, So,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: now come to find out that she hadn't been in
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Mexico since uh, she hadn't been in Mexico since New
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Year's Day. And the friend has been helping take care
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: of their kids, which is five and seven, helping her
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: brother out. But she loves them the pieces because there's
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: her nieces. So but every time she faced time, the
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: girl with her daughter, she don't answer the phone or
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: pick up your brother said that she thinks she up
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: to something because she ain't posted any pictures on her
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: social media. Okay, that's because my friend is always posting
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: pictures of her great body and beautiful surroundings. That's where
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: we left off in the letter, great body and beautiful surroundings.
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: She likes to flex when it's time to flex, to
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: show her lifestyle, but really to show her great body.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: And that's what your brother is sprung on in this
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: small town letter, that he got this bad chick with
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: these two kids, and he don't He just overjoyed with that,
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: but he ain't looking at the facts. Then, the ladies,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: I took this opportunity to tell my brother that he
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: should give my friend back to the streets. Oh so
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: that's where we got her from, then, hunt, you got
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: her from the streets. He then told you you need
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: to give her back to the streets because she's happy
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: just being a baby mama. She's the it girl in
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: our city right there now, right once again, we went
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: to a small town letter, because who do you know, ladies, gentlemen,
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: that's the it girl girl in Bay City unless you
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: in a real small ass town. Because Who's the it
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: girl in New York? Who the it girl in LA?
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Who the It girl in Atlanta? Who the It girl
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: in DC? Who the it girl in Detroit? It can't
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: be the it girl in no big ass city because
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: the moment you thank you, it hold up look who
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: just walked in? And the moment you thank you it
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: hold up look over there on any given night, you
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: could not be the it girl in the big city.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: But in a small city, you can be the it
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: girl all the time. All right. Now, she knows she
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: can have anyone she wants, but she hangs on to
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: my brother for financial security. My brother's almost forty, and
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: he told me that he wants to get married and
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: raise his girls in a two parent household. But my
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: friend told him she's too young to get married. Really,
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: you aren't too young, hand only baby, But now you're
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: too young to get married. You ain't too young to
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: gonecation since New Year's Eve. You ain't too young to
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: take this check and spend it. You ain't too young
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: post videos. You ain't too young to know that you're
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: too young. Lady, get out of here. I would love
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: to tell my friend to stop playing with my brother's heart,
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: but I don't want to get into this middle of
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: this big mess. What do I say when my brother
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: asked for advice again? Surely hit it on the head.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Tell your brother listen to me. You know she ain't
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: about nothing. You're wasting your money on this girl. And
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: since he a business owner, he belongs to several civic organizations.
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: Let's share a couple of facts with him. Number one,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: you've never been married, so you oldest woman, no alimony.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: You're from a small town, so you ain't in La
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: where there's this. You know laws that they have where
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: you've been together for while, you automatically get nothing, common law,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: community property, Ain't none of that at him place, So
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: you do an oldest woman know of lifestyle. She's refused
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: used to get married. She's told you that you've got evidence.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: So now all you gotta do is pay child support,
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: child support which you're gonna pay anyway. But see right
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: now you're paying child support and spousal support, but you
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: ain't getting a spouse, so I would just break it
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: down to child support. You're gonna quit playing me, and
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: I'm not gonna force her hand like we either getting married.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna cut you off I'm not fit to do that.
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: I'm fit to just cut you off. And because you're
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: a businessman, get on a plane and go somewhere else,
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: and you will find out that the it girl really
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: ain't it. And you can put sugar honey on top
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: of that. You can find out really quickly that little
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: miss it really ain't it. Take a car ride, get
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: on a plane. It is everywhere, and it is looking
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: to getting married, and it wants to have a family,
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: and it would support your lifestyle. That's what it would do.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: But no, you ain't got it. You ain't got sugar
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: honey it. See that what the problem is? Hello, I
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: told you in the letter from now. Yeah, you pointed today.
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: I'm pointed today. What did you say? I was supposed
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: to be Shirley point nothing to do that pointed? All right, listen,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: we gotta get pointed at her. And I told her
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: that she wasn't sugar honey it. Posted her comments on
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM, on Instagram and Facebook.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: Check out the Strawberry Letters. Man coming up in forty
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: six minutes after Sports Talk with Junior Air, since I
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: became with Jude, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. Here
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: we go, it's time for Junior and sports talk. What
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: you got Junior, Well, I want to say a special shutout, man,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: because Clay Thompson. I don't know if you saw this,
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: but Clay Thompson, after two years of missing from the
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: NBA is back. Man, came back. Welcome back, Clay. One
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: of the best shooters I've seen. I mean, he's right
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: next to Steph that might be a better shooter, but
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: I'm telling he could. He can knock him down too. Man.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: He got came back with seventeen points against the Cavaliers.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: I know you don't really care for that, but he
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: is back and then just breaking back. Also in under
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: twenty minutes though, yeah, in under twenty minutes. So he
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: coming back at the right time. Two people, Hey, man,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: he looking good. I'm just glad to see him back. Man.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: He's a really good guy. Man. After after half ten,
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: his eight was his achilles and broken leg. So that's
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: two years he remember, he broke his leg. Then he
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: came back and then he tores the kids. So he
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: that's how he's been missing all this time. So he
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: tores achilles. Yeah, that's where he guess where he's coming
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: back from. I thought it wasn't the injury. Man, No,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: this Achilles. But he's backed up, so that's good man.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: I'm glad he's back. Also, the other sports news just
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: want you to know they've been fine head coaches, Lord
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: half Versts. It's hard days right now. Yeah, they've been
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: letting them go all my guys, all right, hey, first
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: start off in New York, jibs Joe Judge. We're praying
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: for you, Joe Joe Geordge is out of that. We're
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: praying for you. Yeah. He the one judge that ain't
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: making this year. Yeah, justudge Steve Winning. Joe Judge is out. Also,
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: we got Chicago ball. Hold your head up, Matt Naggy,
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: they let you go, ye out of there, Hold your
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: head off. Everybody saw that coming. Mike Zimmer's Minnesota biker.
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: Hold your head up, Mike, you did your best. Who
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: don't be out of there. And this is the one
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: that bothered me though, man, and I don't understand this.
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: This the one bothered me. Miami Dolphins they let go
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: of Brian Flores Many, letting him go. I have no
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: idea he want on. He started this season off wrong
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: one all of them games in the road turned to
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: Lou to Galou or whatever name is. We can't you
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: can't say it. Yeah, man, they let him go. Man,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: after him, he was turning the franchise around. I have
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: a brother too. He's a black. Yeah, it's a brother too.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: Yeah in Miami, And don't understand whatever it was about.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: I just hate that for him, brother. Man. After he
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: will get another job though, just to just proportion between
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: hiring black coaches, like, we really want more black coaches, man,
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: they really need that. You're just not getting concerned about that. No,
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: I'm just saying because every year we know some coaches
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: from somewhere. They're gonna pull anothere out and we don't
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: know nothing about him. But you're gonna let Brian Flordes
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: go after he turned a franchise around and he didn't
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: get another job. How many season he got to wait
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: to get into the job. Remember last year was Anthony
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: lenn They let him go from the charges many to
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: be crazy. Man, So we're gonna see what's gonna happen.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: We gonna see the hired Welcome to man, all right,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: thank you Junior. Coming out at the top of the hour.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: We'll have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: All right, So, Steve, we recently talked about Tristan Thompson
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: and Chloe Kardashian, you know, him cheating on her and
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: having a love child in the whole scandal behind that.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Tristan apologized to Chloe for his infidelity, and we all
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: know that Chloe is not the only woman dealing with
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: the cheater. We found a list of some most common
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: reasons women stay with cheaters, and let's see if you
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: agree or is it true Once a cheater, always a cheater.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Here we go. First of all, women stay because they
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: think love will conquer all. You know, love can make
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: people do crazy things. What you think, I mean, you
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: stay with somebody because you love you know? Yeah, you
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: know that happens, true statement, yea. Some women simply say
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: I believe in forgiveness and I love him. Yeah. Well yeah,
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: but when they talk about black women that come with
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: some other stuff too that I'm gonna forgive you, but
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: you're gonna spend several years on your stomach into me.
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: Here's another reason women stay with men who cheat, because
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: women don't like to fail at love. They'll try to
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: work at the relationship, save it, no matter how high
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: the stakes are. They may have kids. You know they've
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: invested time. That's true. That's true, just trust's true. A
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: lot of people think that since I've invested this time,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: I don't want to consider it as wasted time. But
- 1:11:38Speaker 1: if you're going to get some more of what you've
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: been getting, why would you stay in that? Now things change,
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: that's something else. But if it's more of the same,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: if you won't, like I've invested ten years in this relationship,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: I don't want it to go away. But if the
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: next ten years he's still gonna be doing the same thing?
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: To you, do you want the next ten years to
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: be like the prior ten years? That you have to
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: to that question? Hello, all right? I like breaking down?
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: Who's chiming in? Another reason women stay with men who
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: means they usually know that your thoughts come from a
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: lot more ignorant place. He shocks them bullet when you
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: become your the TV personality shows up scares We ain't
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: been getting him for twenty years on the radio, he's
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: brand new. We first, it's very rare when we see
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: your two all genres are intersect the radio and the
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: TV guy. Hello freaking all the way down? See all right.
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: Another reason women stay with men who cheat on them
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: is because of low self esteem. Women who have low
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: self esteem, low confidence and worth devalue themselves that they
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: don't love themselves enough. That's true. What else they got
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: Let's get to the number one reason. Uh, here it
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: is he's my baby daddy. Oh wow, he's the father
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: of my children. That don't make you steak, don't They
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: don't want to? That's big. It's money on this list.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: What does money have to do with money? Financial stability,
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: the ability to think that you can't go on that
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: you need what he brings to the table. If you
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: don't think that's a factor of trust and believe it is.
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: I agree they didn't put that one in there, but
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: that is a huge reason, especially if a woman is
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: a homemaker and doesn't work, and if they've worked and
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: accumulated a lot of things together, that's another reason. Then
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: another reason is just the agony of a divorce. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: what time or a woman who you know hasn't worked
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: in years and it's just like you know, you ain't
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: been in there in the in the corporate world. I say,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: in fifteen twenty years, you ain't worked at all. Yeah,
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: so you'll put up with the behavior to keep your lifestyle.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: That's what you're saying. Who is this we talked to?
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: Who is this? Dudema's mom? He took his glasses off.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: And you see, I've never heard you make this much sense.
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: I tell you, it happens. It happens, Junior. It's such
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: a rarity though it throws us. Well, you know what
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: women think that men are capable of change. They give
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: them a chance. They are too. That's why they stay
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: a lot of me and change. Yeah. All right, well,
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: thank you guys for your input. We'll have more of
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: a Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at twenty minutes
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: after the hour, right after this you're listening show. All right, guys,
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: here we go. Carla is here with today music News.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: What you got, Carla? Jo Him wants to battle Usher
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: and Averse. Shut out there. Let that man mock what him?
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Usha Usher the very one. Yeah, after he sang them
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: six hits and Usha begins to do Confessions the whole holbum.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: Confession Jack got some hits, though how many he got?
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Boys as many as Usher. He can sing. He can
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: sing as yeah, he had to battle somebody that like

- 1:18:39Speaker 1: experiments on rats? Only on rats? Be okay? Or would
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: you rather be an embalmer. Well, I ain't doing the
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: rats rats. I ain't going the wrong work with the
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: rats I'm doing. I can't be painting stuff dead people,
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: rolling them over here doing the make for sure they
- 1:19:04Speaker 1: got the all the cracks got to be sold up
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: my all like this, So don't no noise. Now, I'm
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: not going to do that, though, give me them damn rats.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna going in shoot the rat stuff. Yeah, I'm
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: gonna going then and shoot all them damn rats. And
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: then whatever we was looking for, it's over. The research
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: is over. I'm doing the dead people. What I'm working
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: with is not moving, and now I have it move
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: We got is? Yeah? Tell me I think you a
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: little bit too. Some one's the next dead, all right.
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: The next one is would you rather never get mad?
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: Or would you rather never be happy? Oh? I wants
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: to be happy. I rather you would never get mad?
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: What the netty ass person sitting there and thinking they're happy?
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: All I'd rather be happy all the time. But there
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: are some people like that, all right. Listen. Coming up
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: at forty nine minutes after the hour, last break of
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: the day, closing remarks from Steve Harvey. Right after this
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: you're listening to all Right, guys, this is our last
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: break of the day and it is time for some
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: closing remarks from the one and only Steve Harvey. Well,
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: it's been a good day. Let me ask you, guys
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: a question, just off the top of your head. What
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: do you all and anybody can answer this question? What
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: do you think is probably the number one cause that
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: gets in the way of people moving forward or what
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: has gotten in the way of you over the years
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: from moving forward? Come I I mean it happens to
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: all of us, myself included. I'm just asking a question
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: to recruit fear of failure, fear of success, sometimes trying
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: to fix the pad wow, lack of faith. Well, okay,
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: let me address three things. This is intu. I'm gonna
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: try to do this quickly. Let's talk about fixing the past.
- 1:21:09Speaker 1: Let's talk briefly about fear, and let's talk about the
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: fear of being successful. Let's start with the fear of
- 1:21:17Speaker 1: being successful. A lot of people have a fear of
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: becoming successful because they're not sure of the requirements that
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: will be placed on them once they become successful. Some
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: people think that they won't be able to handle the
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: regiment of being successful, and that right there is you're
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: not understanding how God works. God never puts you someplace
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: He doesn't prepare you to be. Do you understand that
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: as you become successful, that you're going to be tested,
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: You're going to be challenged, You're going to be faced
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: with all types of situations that will better you, equip you,
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: and make you the experienced person that you need to
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: be to be in the place that you're going to
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: finally wind up in. Stop being afraid of success and
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: understand that God is not going to put you in
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: a room that you're not qualified or equipped to be in.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: That's for starters. Now let's talk about fixing the past.
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: You're ready, you can't. You can't. You get no duovers
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: in life. The problem that people have when they try
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: to fix the passes because they are surrounded by people
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: who are constantly reminding them of the past and telling
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: them you're not this, and you're not that, and you
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: can't do this because you did that and I remember
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: when you did that. When you remove those people from
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: your life who are constantly trying to remind you of
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: your pass you will then lose the need to have
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: to fix it see, but you have to fix it
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: when there are people in your life and including you,
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: who keep bringing the past to the forefront to put
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: it in your presence. That's why the Lord's prayer is simple,
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: give us this day our daily bread. The Bible very
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: rarely talks to you about your past, because it's been forgiven,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: it's done. I haven't read a whole lot of scriptures
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: to help me with my past. I read a lot
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: of scriptures that talk about now. I read a lot
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: of scriptures that talks about faith, the belief in things
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: that you cannot see, trusting in his word, holding onto
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: his unchanging hand, realizing that all things are possible through him.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: I read a lot of scriptures about that. But nothing
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: is more prevalent in our life today than the Lord's prayer,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: which clearly says, give us this day our daily bread,
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: because tomorrow you have no control over now. You can
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: have hopes for tomorrow, you can have plans for tomorrow,
- 1:24:22Speaker 1: you can have visions and aspirations for tomorrow. But everything
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: about tomorrow, which I have finally learned, should be tempered
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: with the remark if it's God's will and in God's timing,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: that way it releases me from having to be worried
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: about the timing of an event, because just because it's
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: been denied, just because it's been delayed, does not mean
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: that it's been denied. I had to learn that, so
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: fixing your past can't be done. What's done is done.
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: First thing you want to do about in the past,
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: remove people from your life who are constantly reminding you
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: of your past. And then secondly, forgive yourself, just as
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: God has done. I used to do it to myself
- 1:25:11Speaker 1: all the time. Even at my daughter's wedding, I made
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: the statement I said, I've spent all of my adult
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: life trying to fix the mistakes I made as a
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: young man. You know what Bishop Jakes told me, who
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: was at my daughter's when he said you're too hard
- 1:25:26Speaker 1: on yourself. He said, you're too hard on yourself. You
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: need to stop doing that to yourself, dear, And he
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: was right, because I keep trying to do that, and
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: I had to stop at last, but not least. Let's
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: just talk about fear itself. The majority of us have
- 1:25:46Speaker 1: a fear of success and a fear of failure because
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: we don't have a strong enough relationship with God. I'm
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: telling you man, God erases fear. God I put you
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: in a comfort zone. I mean, if you think about
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: it just for a second. Everybody, everything that you've ever
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: gone through, and I've said this, I can't tell you
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: how many times on the show. Everything you've gone through,
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: every challenge you've ever had, every setback, every hardship, You've
- 1:26:17Speaker 1: managed somehow to this point to get past all of them.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: Your track record for surviving rough days and challenges is one.
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: Why would God not continue to do that for you?
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: Lose your fear because God is near. Lose your fear
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: because God is near. Those are the three things I
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: wanted to address that giving me those close remarks, I
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: have a great day. Talk to all. They love to
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: hear from you. See you tomorrow of bye for all Steve.
