- 0:24Speaker 2: Listening to show.
- 0:38Speaker 4: I want to joy, Yah, yeah, Joy, you know you.
- 1:06Speaker 5: Love.
- 1:06Speaker 3: You gotta turn. I can't.
- 1:41Speaker 6: To turn the mouth. Turn you probably got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 6: the mouth, turn.
- 1:46Speaker 5: The water the mony up looking. Come come on, you'll think.
- 2:01Speaker 7: Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody. You're listening
- 2:05Speaker 7: to the voice, Come on dig me now. One and
- 2:08Speaker 7: only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Man. What an
- 2:13Speaker 7: amazing blessing. God has given me my health, my dreams,
- 2:20Speaker 7: all of it. God gave it to me. I accept it.
- 2:24Speaker 7: I work hard, but man, oh man, oh man, I
- 2:28Speaker 7: work hard. It is something that He gave me a gift.
- 2:32Speaker 7: And that's what I want to talk to you about today.
- 2:34Speaker 7: Because God has gifted everyone, so I can't help but
- 2:38Speaker 7: believe it. You are gifted in some way. Something about
- 2:42Speaker 7: you is specially and unique. That doesn't mean you're the
- 2:46Speaker 7: only one that can sing? Are you the only one
- 2:48Speaker 7: that can write? Are you the only one that can draw?
- 2:51Speaker 7: You the only one that can decorate? Or you the
- 2:53Speaker 7: only one that can network? Or you're the only one
- 2:56Speaker 7: that does not what it means. Or you have a
- 2:58Speaker 7: great scientific mind, or you can figure things out, are
- 3:01Speaker 7: you're good at problem solving. You're not the only one,
- 3:03Speaker 7: but you are a unique individual. Nobody will travel the
- 3:06Speaker 7: exact path that you on. Nobody will have everything happen
- 3:10Speaker 7: in a series of circumstances in the order that you're
- 3:14Speaker 7: going to have it happen to you. That's what I
- 3:16Speaker 7: mean when I say that you are unique. But now
- 3:20Speaker 7: because you are gifted, you know you have something you
- 3:23Speaker 7: have to do. You know, there's a scripture. It's in Proverbs,
- 3:27Speaker 7: Proverbs eighteen and sixteen. I've been trying to be a
- 3:30Speaker 7: little bit better at that for you, you know. So
- 3:32Speaker 7: when I have an idea and I know where it is,
- 3:35Speaker 7: I have somebody look the scripture up from me and
- 3:37Speaker 7: handed to me. So it's in Proverbs eighteen sixteen. And
- 3:41Speaker 7: this is the layman's term of it. It says a
- 3:44Speaker 7: man's gift make room for him and brings him before
- 3:48Speaker 7: great men. It is your gift that will make room
- 3:52Speaker 7: for you. Now my interpretation of this is this. Now
- 3:55Speaker 7: I could be wrong. Please go to your local church center, god, temple,
- 3:59Speaker 7: mosque you do and go get clarification. But what my
- 4:03Speaker 7: gift has done in making room for me is I've
- 4:07Speaker 7: taken it almost in the literal sense. My gift has
- 4:10Speaker 7: actually made room for me. It has clear paths for me.
- 4:14Speaker 7: My gift has opened up doors for me. That's what
- 4:17Speaker 7: I take it as. It'll make room for you. My
- 4:20Speaker 7: gift has has broadened my ability to travel. My gift
- 4:24Speaker 7: has opened my eyes to fashion. My gift has caused
- 4:29Speaker 7: me to be able to provide for my family. My
- 4:33Speaker 7: gift has caused me to be able to reach more people.
- 4:37Speaker 7: That's what I'm saying in terms of it will make
- 4:40Speaker 7: room for you. That it may be another interpretation. I'm
- 4:42Speaker 7: just telling you how I took it. That has worked
- 4:45Speaker 7: out pretty good for me to that understanding. But I'm
- 4:47Speaker 7: pretty sure Bishop Jakes, Joel Oldstein, kennef Ohm, you know, God,
- 4:52Speaker 7: Glenn Staples, Bishop Glenn Stable, these guys give you much
- 4:55Speaker 7: better understanding of it. I'm just giving it to you,
- 4:58Speaker 7: you know where I know how sold. I just like
- 5:00Speaker 7: to keep it right there. But and then it says
- 5:03Speaker 7: that it brings you before great men. I mean, you
- 5:07Speaker 7: know it's gonna take your places. It's gonna take your places.
- 5:10Speaker 7: You never thought of going. You're gonna meet people because
- 5:14Speaker 7: of your gift. I told my son, who two of
- 5:17Speaker 7: them are good photographers. You'll be taking pictures of great men,
- 5:20Speaker 7: and then I mess with them. You already take a pictures,
- 5:22Speaker 7: say your daddy. You know I'm messing with them like that.
- 5:24Speaker 7: But that's just me and them just kicking it. But
- 5:26Speaker 7: you know, but one day, who knows, you could be
- 5:28Speaker 7: shooting the president. You know, you could be shooting some
- 5:31Speaker 7: foreign dignitaries. You know, you could be shooting great sport events.
- 5:35Speaker 7: You know, you never know where it could take you.
- 5:37Speaker 7: But that's your gift. What you gotta do is you
- 5:39Speaker 7: gotta get to move and though. See, you can't have
- 5:42Speaker 7: your gift and not do nothing with it. See. You
- 5:44Speaker 7: know what that reminds me of. It's something that my
- 5:48Speaker 7: father used to say, get up off your butt because
- 5:52Speaker 7: you're sitting on a gold mine. He say that all
- 5:55Speaker 7: the time. Boy, get up off your butt and move it,
- 5:58Speaker 7: because you sitting on the gold I never really quite
- 6:01Speaker 7: got that when I was little, but now that I'm
- 6:03Speaker 7: an adult, I got it full well. See a lot
- 6:05Speaker 7: of you are sitting You're sitting on a talent or
- 6:08Speaker 7: a gift. That you have. You're sitting on an ability.
- 6:12Speaker 7: I don't care if it's making cakes or pies. That's
- 6:15Speaker 7: a gift, man, that's a talent. I don't care if
- 6:17Speaker 7: it's the ability to do hell, that's a gift.
- 6:20Speaker 8: Man.
- 6:20Speaker 7: Half of you are gifted. A lot of us are gifted,
- 6:24Speaker 7: and we're sitting on it, looking at other people, wondering
- 6:27Speaker 7: what can I do to make it? You already got
- 6:29Speaker 7: something to make it with. If you would just get
- 6:32Speaker 7: up off your behind, man, quit sitting on that gold mine.
- 6:36Speaker 7: Some of you are tech savvy, just a whiz is
- 6:39Speaker 7: when it comes to engineering and putting stuff together and
- 6:42Speaker 7: cables and wires and computers and stuff. And now you
- 6:46Speaker 7: steady looking around trying to figure out, Man, wonder what
- 6:48Speaker 7: I can go do? How about you go do that?
- 6:51Speaker 7: You know it ain't that hard, man, If you would
- 6:54Speaker 7: just take note of what God has given you already.
- 6:58Speaker 7: He has given you a gift already. He has already
- 7:01Speaker 7: given you a talent. Now the fact that you ain't
- 7:04Speaker 7: using it and you sitting on your tail somewhere, Now,
- 7:08Speaker 7: who fathers? What we talking about? What you blaming God
- 7:13Speaker 7: for that?
- 7:14Speaker 9: Man?
- 7:15Speaker 7: I tell you what I sit around people all the
- 7:17Speaker 7: time who are gifted, and I'm looking at their gifts,
- 7:22Speaker 7: and they steady complaining about what they don't have, but
- 7:25Speaker 7: will not get up off there behind and use the
- 7:29Speaker 7: gifts that God gave them. And it's frustrating. It's gotta
- 7:33Speaker 7: be frustrating for you if you doing it, because it's
- 7:36Speaker 7: frustrating for me when I see it. So when these
- 7:38Speaker 7: people come to me and ask me for help, I
- 7:40Speaker 7: just keep going the same thing over and over. Help yourself, man,
- 7:44Speaker 7: do for you use your gift. It's a cat sitting
- 7:47Speaker 7: behind the wall right now that's locked up. That's so
- 7:51Speaker 7: good at artistry. It's cats in that tattooing everybody. Man,
- 7:55Speaker 7: get out, do it the right way. Quit selling drugs, man,
- 7:59Speaker 7: you ain't going no, you're selling no drugs. You going
- 8:01Speaker 7: to jail. And if that don't do it, somebody gonna
- 8:04Speaker 7: get tired of you selling drugs cause they're gonna want
- 8:05Speaker 7: to sell them over and they gonna kill you. Let's
- 8:07Speaker 7: just keep this thing real for just a second. Here,
- 8:10Speaker 7: Come on, man, get up off your butt, because you
- 8:12Speaker 7: sitting on the gold mine, and you sit up here
- 8:15Speaker 7: somebody always looking for a shortcut to the top. Ain't
- 8:17Speaker 7: no shortcut. Somebody told me this the other day. Man,
- 8:20Speaker 7: the road to success is always under construction. It ain't paved,
- 8:27Speaker 7: it's got detoured signs on it. It's got slow men working.
- 8:32Speaker 7: Sometime they flip the stop sign. You gotta sit there
- 8:35Speaker 7: and wait. Sometime they got slow. There's traffic, there's accidents.
- 8:40Speaker 7: Somebody on the road holding up things with a flat tie.
- 8:43Speaker 7: Its nails, its gravels, its spike, is everything. The road
- 8:47Speaker 7: to success is always under construction. It ain't getting ready
- 8:52Speaker 7: to be easy just because you done decided to do it.
- 8:54Speaker 7: But don't sit around on your behind and complain all
- 8:57Speaker 7: the time about what you don't have. My daddy said it, Man,
- 9:01Speaker 7: get up off your butt because you sitting on a
- 9:03Speaker 7: gold mine. You got a gift, you got a talent,
- 9:06Speaker 7: You got something that you can do that could make
- 9:10Speaker 7: a way for you, but you won't do it. It
- 9:12Speaker 7: is within you. Stop looking around. Here's what people waste
- 9:16Speaker 7: the most time on the road to success looking around
- 9:19Speaker 7: at somebody else trying to figure out, Man, how can
- 9:23Speaker 7: I do what they did? Do what you do? You
- 9:27Speaker 7: ain't jay Z, You ain't sorry. I got a couple
- 9:31Speaker 7: of your homies told you you rap better. Than him,
- 9:33Speaker 7: But you not, jay Z really you not. You know,
- 9:36Speaker 7: all of us can shot at him, but we ain't
- 9:38Speaker 7: rich at prior. A nice shot, Steve, Bernie l all
- 9:43Speaker 7: of we took some great shots at it, we not him.
- 9:47Speaker 7: Do what you can do? Do you do your gift
- 9:51Speaker 7: quick complaining about what you don't have, Get up off
- 9:54Speaker 7: your butt because you sitting on a gold mine.
- 9:57Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show.
- 10:03Speaker 7: Ladies and gentlemen. Can I have your attention please? And
- 10:07Speaker 7: the reason I'm asking for it is because when I
- 10:10Speaker 7: get it, I'm gonna do something with it. Now, now
- 10:14Speaker 7: that I have your attention, here we go. You're about
- 10:17Speaker 7: to be enlightened, a little bit frightened, educated, but then
- 10:24Speaker 7: sometimes a little miseducated. You're gonna be entertained, while at
- 10:30Speaker 7: the same time start the process of being interchanged. Then
- 10:35Speaker 7: we're gonna stimulate, but we're not gonna try to annihilate.
- 10:40Speaker 7: And in other words, when you summer all this up,
- 10:44Speaker 7: in the words of one of my dear dear friends,
- 10:47Speaker 7: the Steve Harvey Morning Show is about to tare a
- 10:50Speaker 7: mouth out. And the word is mouth mo ou f
- 10:55Speaker 7: f mouth. That's how we say it, that's how we belly.
- 11:00Speaker 7: Welcome to the show. Sureley straw Ben.
- 11:03Speaker 1: That is what we do. Steve Harvey, good morning.
- 11:07Speaker 7: Let for real, Good morning. What's happening crew?
- 11:10Speaker 1: Hey, Hey, hey, hey Junior morning.
- 11:13Speaker 10: You ain't like yet?
- 11:15Speaker 7: Mouth ever, Nephew, Tommy, have your mouth out hate just
- 11:22Speaker 7: take it. Yeah, tongue and all gums all that's wild
- 11:27Speaker 7: less anything in there.
- 11:29Speaker 1: What if you have gentle work like.
- 11:34Speaker 7: Money, you're gonna need some more work.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you look good today, Steve.
- 11:43Speaker 3: You're feeling all right?
- 11:44Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you know. I feel pretty good man.
- 11:46Speaker 7: I've changed my attitude and I feel really great. I've
- 11:52Speaker 7: taken everything, everything that I used to have to do,
- 11:55Speaker 7: I've turned it around and said I get to do it.
- 11:58Speaker 7: Has made a world of difference. My days are going
- 12:01Speaker 7: much smoother. I've implemented the thought process of gratitude and
- 12:05Speaker 7: everything I do, and I'm just watching God to see
- 12:09Speaker 7: what he got for me next, because He's always taken
- 12:11Speaker 7: care of me, and I lived my life in the
- 12:13Speaker 7: expectation that there's some greater things on the horizon, and
- 12:16Speaker 7: I'm just watchful, Thank you Lord. Yeah. Now, what I
- 12:23Speaker 7: always try to make sure I do now is I
- 12:26Speaker 7: try to give something for God to put his finger on.
- 12:30Speaker 7: You know, God can touch it for you. I just
- 12:33Speaker 7: try to give him something to touch, you know, I
- 12:36Speaker 7: put it. I got a lot of balls in there.
- 12:40Speaker 11: You know.
- 12:42Speaker 7: He could take any one of them balls he want
- 12:44Speaker 7: to and just blow it up.
- 12:46Speaker 1: That's right, he was going to do that, but no,
- 12:49Speaker 1: he did. He did this, and turns out it's better.
- 12:52Speaker 7: Surely. I can't really tell you how many times what
- 12:56Speaker 7: I wanted and what he gave me was two different things. Absolutely,
- 13:01Speaker 7: how I want it and how he gave it to
- 13:03Speaker 7: me it was different, and it was way better than
- 13:05Speaker 7: what I want.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Way, Yeah, because his thoughts are not our thoughts.
- 13:11Speaker 7: Man, Such a blessed man to come to the realization
- 13:15Speaker 7: of how this actually works. Man, I wish I could
- 13:17Speaker 7: teach people how it works without sound and preaching, because
- 13:21Speaker 7: I'm not really qualified to do that. But I wish
- 13:24Speaker 7: I could share with people how it works. Man, that's doable.
- 13:28Speaker 1: But you can do that all the time. Yeah, all right,
- 13:34Speaker 1: well you can teach him.
- 13:35Speaker 7: I'm gonna try it in my clothes and remarks.
- 13:37Speaker 1: All right, coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:40Speaker 1: we'll hear from the nephew as he runs that brank
- 13:43Speaker 1: back right after this. You're listening morning show. All right,
- 13:48Speaker 1: it's time now to start your morning off with the
- 13:50Speaker 1: nephew and run that brank back. What you got for
- 13:52Speaker 1: his nepht.
- 13:53Speaker 7: All right, buckle up, here we go. This is the
- 13:55Speaker 7: high school reunion. High school reunion. Let's go get Doe.
- 14:00Speaker 8: Hello.
- 14:00Speaker 12: Hello, I'm trying to reach Sylvia.
- 14:02Speaker 8: Please, she's not available, but this is her husband on
- 14:04Speaker 8: track and to help you.
- 14:06Speaker 12: How you doing, man, My name is King, I'm mom.
- 14:08Speaker 12: I graduated with Sylvia. We're having a big twenty five
- 14:11Speaker 12: year class reunion this year, okay, for nineteen eighty five.
- 14:15Speaker 12: We should be home, so I.
- 14:17Speaker 8: Don't know, man, she actually shopping right now.
- 14:19Speaker 12: Okay, okay, cool, well listen that she heard about Does
- 14:22Speaker 12: she know about the reunion or or do you know
- 14:24Speaker 12: anything about that?
- 14:25Speaker 5: Uh?
- 14:26Speaker 12: Not?
- 14:26Speaker 8: To my knowledge? Is the first time I ever heard
- 14:28Speaker 8: about a reunion.
- 14:29Speaker 12: Okay, well, there is a reunion.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Man.
- 14:31Speaker 12: She's actually I think signed up for it. I'm not
- 14:33Speaker 12: sure that's why I asked you, but I think I
- 14:35Speaker 12: saw her name was that she was signed up to come.
- 14:39Speaker 8: Let me I should when exactly did you graduate? I
- 14:42Speaker 8: graduated in eighty two okay, in eighty two. Okay, you
- 14:46Speaker 8: a lit a little bit before us. Then all right,
- 14:47Speaker 8: well listen, let me let me go ahead and say this.
- 14:51Speaker 8: I Drake actually in.
- 14:53Speaker 12: High school, man, Sylvia was my you know, my high
- 14:57Speaker 12: school sweetheart, and we you know, we dated from ninth
- 15:00Speaker 12: grade to freshman year in college. And I wanted to
- 15:03Speaker 12: see if, you know, if it was cool with you, you know,
- 15:06Speaker 12: if you didn't mind me escorting her to the twenty
- 15:09Speaker 12: five year class reunion. Doing well, let me say that again,
- 15:14Speaker 12: Like I say, man, my name is Ken, Ken.
- 15:17Speaker 8: I got that part. I'm trying to make sure I
- 15:19Speaker 8: heard right what you said.
- 15:20Speaker 12: Yeah, I said that I Sylvia and I were high
- 15:23Speaker 12: school sweethearts. Man, I was you know, from ninth grade
- 15:26Speaker 12: all the way to freshman year in college. We dated
- 15:28Speaker 12: each other.
- 15:28Speaker 8: Okay, yeah, yeah, I got I got that. But what
- 15:30Speaker 8: did you ask me?
- 15:31Speaker 12: I asked you if it was all right for if
- 15:34Speaker 12: you didn't mind if I escorted her to the twenty
- 15:37Speaker 12: five year class reunion.
- 15:39Speaker 8: Are you related to her?
- 15:41Speaker 12: No? I mean no, I'm not related to I just
- 15:43Speaker 12: told you I was a high school sweetheart.
- 15:45Speaker 8: No, man, I'm saying, nobody gonna be asked for my
- 15:47Speaker 8: wife nowhere. I put the ring on my finger. You
- 15:49Speaker 8: said you was a high school sweetheart.
- 15:51Speaker 12: Yeah, I mean we was together from you know, ninth grade,
- 15:53Speaker 12: all the ways to month to freshman year in college.
- 15:55Speaker 12: You know, so yeah that was.
- 15:57Speaker 8: That was in the past. But I'm sorry to let
- 15:59Speaker 8: you but those in the past. I'm the president. So
- 16:02Speaker 8: I don't even think she gonna be interested in trying
- 16:04Speaker 8: to go nowhere with you anyway.
- 16:05Speaker 12: Hey man, what I'm trying to explain you this I'm innocent, though. Man,
- 16:08Speaker 12: this is just me taking her to you know, you know,
- 16:10Speaker 12: I thought she might get a kick out of us
- 16:12Speaker 12: going together. You know, I don't know.
- 16:14Speaker 8: What's wrong with you. I done told you. If it's
- 16:16Speaker 8: not going to one ear, put the phone on the
- 16:18Speaker 8: other one. She ain't going nowhere? What you do? I
- 16:20Speaker 8: need to break it down anymore.
- 16:22Speaker 12: Hey man, you ain't gotta you ain't gotta talk to
- 16:23Speaker 12: me and disrespect me like this. Man, Now, all I
- 16:26Speaker 12: tried to do is come on you talking.
- 16:27Speaker 8: About I'm disrespecting you. You're gonna call my gonna tell
- 16:31Speaker 8: me I'm disrespecting you. You asking me can you take
- 16:33Speaker 8: my wife to the damn class reunion? And expect me
- 16:37Speaker 8: to be okay with that. What kind of damn food
- 16:39Speaker 8: is going to call somebody as can you take their
- 16:41Speaker 8: wife to a class reunion? Hey?
- 16:42Speaker 12: Man, that was my high school sweetheart. All right, we
- 16:45Speaker 12: had we had something. I was up first, Okay, I
- 16:49Speaker 12: was off first.
- 16:49Speaker 8: Off, if you were the first, then I'm the last
- 16:51Speaker 8: and I'm the only one. So we're gonna leave it
- 16:53Speaker 8: at that. How about that, partner?
- 16:55Speaker 12: It's whatever, man, You know what, Man, I try to
- 16:57Speaker 12: call you and talk to you like a man. But
- 17:00Speaker 12: you know what I should have did me like that?
- 17:03Speaker 8: You're doing a little bad.
- 17:04Speaker 12: I should have called Sylvia in the first I should
- 17:06Speaker 12: have never called matter of fact, you know what I
- 17:08Speaker 12: apologize for cause let me get out the phone and
- 17:10Speaker 12: just called Sylvia. See and do that.
- 17:15Speaker 8: You go right on the head and call her.
- 17:17Speaker 12: Well, that's what I'm gonna do. Because Sylvia can make
- 17:19Speaker 12: a decision on what Sylvia want to do.
- 17:21Speaker 8: I can tell you what thing Sylvia do, what Sylvia
- 17:23Speaker 8: want to do. But Sylvia ain't interested in you.
- 17:26Speaker 13: Man.
- 17:26Speaker 12: This is not about being interested in me.
- 17:28Speaker 8: Man.
- 17:28Speaker 12: This is innocent. This is just me and her going
- 17:31Speaker 12: to the damn class reunion together, man, And it ain't
- 17:34Speaker 12: like we're finna go do something together, man, on a
- 17:37Speaker 12: physical level. We're just going to have fun on.
- 17:41Speaker 8: My cool. I'm trying to tell you that I'd already

- 22:06Speaker 1: be bad all the way around if it's his child.
- 22:09Speaker 1: Should I stay with my jailbird boyfriend and let him
- 22:12Speaker 1: raise the child? Or tell my ex.

- 23:43Speaker 7: presence and nobody with a weapon. You can't be in
- 23:46Speaker 7: the president, nobody with a record. You can't be within
- 23:49Speaker 7: so much distance of this, that and the other. You
- 23:52Speaker 7: can't get a ticket. You can't do nothing. You on

- 24:01Speaker 1: Baby, Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, all right. Moving on,
- 24:06Speaker 1: Kelsey and Richmond, Virginia says, I'm a thirty year old
- 24:09Speaker 1: hairstylist and one of my clients is messing with the
- 24:12Speaker 1: married man. That man's wife comes to another stylist in
- 24:16Speaker 1: the salon, and through other gossiping women in the salon,
- 24:20Speaker 1: they found out about each other. While my client was
- 24:23Speaker 1: under the dryer Saturday, someone keyed her car and wrote
- 24:26Speaker 1: on it with a permanent marker. My customer thinks me
- 24:30Speaker 1: and the other stylists should pay for the damage because
- 24:33Speaker 1: she's too ashamed to file an insurance claim. Am I
- 24:37Speaker 1: liable since it was on my property?
- 24:39Speaker 7: No? Whoa, No, you're not liable for the car if
- 24:43Speaker 7: you gets stolen on your property. No, she has insurance.
- 24:50Speaker 7: Her insurance is liable for that. You not liable for that.

- 24:58Speaker 1: That's over a married man.
- 24:59Speaker 7: Anything. What else usually happened somewhere around somebody property. Somebody
- 25:04Speaker 7: owns that property all the time.
- 25:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:07Speaker 14: Yeah, so I don't know what to do.
- 25:14Speaker 7: No, you tripping? You know what, you're worried about car?
- 25:18Speaker 7: You're trying to get liability? Put on the what the
- 25:22Speaker 7: little girl? Come on, you get your life together. We're
- 25:26Speaker 7: worrying about the wrong stuff.
- 25:28Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right, That is exactly right. Okay, So let's
- 25:32Speaker 1: see what Sherry and Cincinnati is saying. She writes, I
- 25:35Speaker 1: have a weird situation with my next door neighbor. He
- 25:38Speaker 1: plays his saxophone all hours of the day and night,
- 25:42Speaker 1: and I've complained to him and management. He came over
- 25:46Speaker 1: the other day with a peace offering, and it was
- 25:48Speaker 1: not what I expected. He said, clearly there's sexual tension
- 25:53Speaker 1: with us, and he gave me a long and passionate kiss.
- 25:58Speaker 1: He said he's ready for set whenever I am. And
- 26:02Speaker 1: he left my apartment. I want him so badly now,
- 26:06Speaker 1: But I've never been in a situation like this. Is
- 26:09Speaker 1: it a bad idea to have sex with a neighbor?
- 26:18Speaker 7: Just go the way you think it was gonna go.
- 26:21Speaker 7: I thought he came over there with some weed or something.
- 26:24Speaker 7: He came over there, tongue kissing, left.
- 26:29Speaker 6: I like it.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Yeah, then he left.

- 26:50Speaker 1: But her question is is it a bad idea to
- 26:53Speaker 1: have sex with a neighbor?
- 26:55Speaker 7: Well, I mean if you single and he's single. He
- 26:59Speaker 7: just came over here, just mouth kissed you real hard.
- 27:04Speaker 7: I'm talking hard anybody. And and he what what instrument
- 27:10Speaker 7: is he blowing? Oh? Yeah, yeah, he had his tongue
- 27:16Speaker 7: way down your throat. His tongue been on weeds and
- 27:21Speaker 7: stuff all his boy. Girl, girl, you've been a saxophone kiss.
- 27:30Speaker 7: You've been growing up in here. All of a sudden,
- 27:32Speaker 7: you girls, it's inevitable. I don't even know why you
- 27:35Speaker 7: wrote this. You already noticed what you do. You just
- 27:37Speaker 7: said you want him so bad? What's stopping you? You
- 27:43Speaker 7: already know it's gonna pop off. But he blowed one
- 27:48Speaker 7: more damn note, and I'm gonna go over there and
- 27:51Speaker 7: straighten all this out. You blow that hard again to
- 27:56Speaker 7: see it on. I come over there and we'll see
- 27:58Speaker 7: who can kiss hard. But what about him? We are
- 28:04Speaker 7: everybody gone there?
- 28:07Speaker 6: I call myself.
- 28:09Speaker 7: There, I stop myself. I ain't red. Everybody listening right now,

- 51:53Speaker 7: Cancel. It's all wrapped up in there together the senators.
- 52:00Speaker 3: Why is that barb.

- 52:52Speaker 10: All right, ladies and gentlemen, it is that time. It's
- 52:54Speaker 10: time for the Strawberry Letter.
- 52:55Speaker 18: Well, my great friend Shirley straw Thank you, my friend Junior. Subject,
- 53:00Speaker 18: I was in the closet the whole time, do Stephen, Shirley.
- 53:04Speaker 18: I'm twenty eight years old and I've had the worst
- 53:07Speaker 18: dating history of all my friends. I was recently dating
- 53:10Speaker 18: a guy that told me he had a stalker, and
- 53:13Speaker 18: we had to lay low for a while until she
- 53:16Speaker 18: left him alone. I understood why he might have a
- 53:18Speaker 18: stalker because he is fine and sexy, with a ball
- 53:22Speaker 18: head and a full beard. He's thirty six years old,
- 53:25Speaker 18: so I was intrigued by dating an older man for
- 53:28Speaker 18: the first time. I had been to his home a
- 53:31Speaker 18: few times and it was very nice, so I asked
- 53:33Speaker 18: him who helped him decorate it. He said his mother
- 53:37Speaker 18: used to be an interior designer, so she helped him out.
- 53:40Speaker 18: We primarily spend time at my apartment, though, because his
- 53:43Speaker 18: house was way in the suburbs. All of these red
- 53:46Speaker 18: flags were popping up, but I overlooked them because I
- 53:50Speaker 18: wanted this to work out.
- 53:52Speaker 1: I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Last weekend,
- 53:55Speaker 1: we had planned to see Frankie, Beverly and Mays in concert,
- 53:58Speaker 1: and he had a car service pick me up first
- 54:01Speaker 1: and then and then pick him up. He told me
- 54:05Speaker 1: to come in so we could have a drink before
- 54:07Speaker 1: we left. We started fooling around and he took me
- 54:10Speaker 1: into one of the guest bedrooms, which I thought was weird.
- 54:13Speaker 1: As I got naked, I heard a woman's voice. He
- 54:16Speaker 1: picked me up, wrapped me in the sheets, and put
- 54:19Speaker 1: me in walk in closet and said he thinks his
- 54:22Speaker 1: stalker is in the house and I need to stay
- 54:25Speaker 1: in the closet and be quiet because she's crazy. I
- 54:29Speaker 1: could faintly hear him asking the woman to go to
- 54:32Speaker 1: the concert with him, and then silence. Fifteen minutes later,
- 54:36Speaker 1: he texted me and asked me to make up the
- 54:39Speaker 1: bed and get ano uber and he'd explain things later.
- 54:43Speaker 1: I left the room a mess and I left. He
- 54:45Speaker 1: had been calling me NonStop. He's been calling me NonStop,
- 54:49Speaker 1: but I won't answer. And why did he force me
- 54:51Speaker 1: in the closet and leave? Should I hear him out
- 54:54Speaker 1: or keep ignoring him?
- 54:55Speaker 12: No?
- 54:56Speaker 1: What you should do right now is run, run, run run. Okay,
- 55:01Speaker 1: there's nothing to explain. What can he explain? I mean,
- 55:04Speaker 1: your red flags were right, they were real, and since
- 55:07Speaker 1: you chose to ignore them because you said you wanted
- 55:10Speaker 1: to work it out. You wanted this to work out
- 55:12Speaker 1: with this guy. God did you a favor and allowed
- 55:15Speaker 1: that to happen. Okay, it was either his wife or
- 55:18Speaker 1: his girlfriend, his living girlfriend in the house, and that's
- 55:21Speaker 1: all you need to know. What else do you need
- 55:23Speaker 1: to know? I can't believe how stupid and reckless he
- 55:27Speaker 1: was to put you in harm's way like that his
- 55:29Speaker 1: stalker was in the house. But then again I can
- 55:34Speaker 1: because he sounds selfish and he sounds like a liar. Anyway,
- 55:38Speaker 1: the best thing that could have happened to you was leaving,
- 55:42Speaker 1: was him leaving you in that closet. So please let
- 55:45Speaker 1: him call all day and night, but don't answer that phone,
- 55:48Speaker 1: because what can he say? How can he explain what
- 55:51Speaker 1: he did? He can't explain that, there's nothing he can say.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Block him right now, Block him and move on with
- 55:59Speaker 1: your life. Please learn from this experience the next time
- 56:03Speaker 1: your your gut starts putting up red flags. Okay, listen, listen, Linda, listen.
- 56:09Speaker 7: Steve, this is a way. Who are we talking to
- 56:13Speaker 7: in this letter? I'm so confused because you're asking questions
- 56:19Speaker 7: of Shirley and I that are so damn obvious. Yeah,
- 56:24Speaker 7: I don't even understand why you needed when you wrote
- 56:27Speaker 7: the letter, did you read it back? You didn't answer
- 56:30Speaker 7: none of these questions yourself. I was in the clauset
- 56:34Speaker 7: the whole time. What now, you're twenty eight years old, single,
- 56:40Speaker 7: I've had the worst dating history of all my friends. Well,
- 56:44Speaker 7: let me tell you why. Based on this letter right here,
- 56:47Speaker 7: I think the reason you've had the worst dating experience
- 56:50Speaker 7: of all your friends is because you're slow. You're slow,
- 56:53Speaker 7: young lady, You're just slow.
- 56:56Speaker 1: You really want to use that word.
- 56:58Speaker 7: No, that's the word I want to use. Your just slow.
- 57:01Speaker 7: I'm just saying that you're you're you're you're slow to
- 57:05Speaker 7: come to terms with things. You're slow to figure it out.
- 57:09Speaker 7: You're you're you're slow to get the point. You're you're
- 57:13Speaker 7: you're you're you're you're slow to come to conclusions. I
- 57:17Speaker 7: don't mean like slow in there any other way, except
- 57:20Speaker 7: you're slow to come to conclusions. It takes you too
- 57:25Speaker 7: long to figure out the obvious. You need to become
- 57:29Speaker 7: a quicker person. You're too damn slow. Good, I mean
- 57:35Speaker 7: so looking at that's why you have the worst dating experience.
- 57:37Speaker 7: I recently dating a guy that told me he had
- 57:39Speaker 7: a stalker. Okay, let's keep this in mind now, and
- 57:43Speaker 7: we had to lay low for a while until she
- 57:45Speaker 7: left him alone. Where wait, so we just met and
- 57:52Speaker 7: we got to lay low for a while until she
- 57:57Speaker 7: leave him alone. Okay, then why don't we do this
- 58:01Speaker 7: right here when you get rid of the stalker and
- 58:04Speaker 7: the coast is clear, so I don't get myself in
- 58:07Speaker 7: a dangerous situation. Why don't you get that figured out
- 58:10Speaker 7: and then call me after you got the restraining orders
- 58:13Speaker 7: and everything from the police department. But oh no, you
- 58:18Speaker 7: slow to come to that. I came to it right
- 58:21Speaker 7: after I read the letter. Surey came to it. Everybody
- 58:23Speaker 7: listening and came to this. But you slow. So now
- 58:27Speaker 7: y'all gonna lay low for a while. I understood why
- 58:29Speaker 7: he might have a stalker because he find and sexy
- 58:32Speaker 7: with a bald head and a full beard. That's why
- 58:34Speaker 7: you got a stalker. That's what you came to. You
- 58:39Speaker 7: got a stalker because you bad head and you find
- 58:42Speaker 7: you understood that? What how did you come to understand that?
- 58:49Speaker 7: Just because he got a ball head and he fined.
- 58:51Speaker 6: He fined to who.
- 58:54Speaker 8: Tell you?
- 58:58Speaker 7: Obviously the stalker don't feel that way because the stalker
- 59:01Speaker 7: trying to kill him.
- 59:04Speaker 6: So hold on, Steve, hold on.
- 59:09Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 59:12Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry letter, subject
- 59:15Speaker 1: I was in the closet the whole time. We'll get
- 59:18Speaker 1: back into it right after this. You're listening hard Morning show.
- 59:23Speaker 1: All right, come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 59:26Speaker 1: And the subject is I was in the closet the
- 59:30Speaker 1: whole time.
- 59:31Speaker 7: This is such a sad because you know, the subject is,
- 59:35Speaker 7: I was in the closet the whole time. And when
- 59:38Speaker 7: I said earlier, and I explained myself what I mean
- 59:41Speaker 7: by saying she's slow, I'm saying that she is slow
- 59:44Speaker 7: to come to conclusions. She's slow to reach certain points
- 59:50Speaker 7: of understanding. The girl is just slow to this, and
- 59:54Speaker 7: the rest of us is reading this letter, we're getting
- 59:56Speaker 7: it right away. Yeah, but this happened to her and
- 59:59Speaker 7: she's slow to all of this. So now she's twenty
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: eight years old, got the worst dating history of all
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: my friends. I think it's because she's slow. I was
- 1:00:06Speaker 7: recently dating a guy that told me he had a
- 1:00:08Speaker 7: stalker and we had to layload for a while until
- 1:00:11Speaker 7: she left him alone. Okay, cool, First things first, get
- 1:00:15Speaker 7: rid of your stalker. Call me so you don't put
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: me in an uncompromising position. Let me know when everything
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: is clear. When you got a police you know, restraining order,
- 1:00:24Speaker 7: and everything you need from the courts or she get
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: arrested or something there and call me okay, cool. But
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: you ain't do that because you understood why he might
- 1:00:32Speaker 7: have a stalker because he find is sexy with a
- 1:00:35Speaker 7: bald head and a full bed. That's it. So if
- 1:00:39Speaker 7: you ball hit it fine, sexy and got a full bed,
- 1:00:45Speaker 7: you gonna have stalkers. That's all to be.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: Maybe that's what you no, no, no, that.
- 1:00:50Speaker 7: You're gonna have a stalker. So now he's thirty six
- 1:00:54Speaker 7: years old. So I was intrigued by dating an older
- 1:00:56Speaker 7: man for the first time. You're twenty eight, thirty six.
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: He ain't no older man. That's eight years. Oh my god,
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: you're not only slow, you can't do arithmetic. It's eight years,
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: little girl, that ain't an older man, that ain't even ten.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: You frustrated? Did you just sigh?
- 1:01:21Speaker 7: Now listen to this. Now, I had been to his
- 1:01:24Speaker 7: home a few times and it was very nice. Wait
- 1:01:27Speaker 7: a minute, I thought he just told you we're gonna
- 1:01:30Speaker 7: have to lay load for a while. But no, no, no,
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: you done been to his home a few times and
- 1:01:37Speaker 7: it was very nice. So I asked him who helped
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: him decorate it? He said, his mother used to be
- 1:01:42Speaker 7: an intereared designer, so she helped him out. That sounds good,
- 1:01:46Speaker 7: that's okay, I ain't tripping on that. We primarily spend
- 1:01:51Speaker 7: time in my apartment though, because his house was way
- 1:01:54Speaker 7: in the suburbs. Okay, so your house is where. If
- 1:01:58Speaker 7: his house is way in the suburbs, your house is well.
- 1:02:04Speaker 7: So obviously this was like too long of a drive
- 1:02:07Speaker 7: for y'all. I would go on and take the time
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: for the nice house long drive. We can talk, get
- 1:02:13Speaker 7: to know each other. But oh, that's right, y'all can't
- 1:02:16Speaker 7: be seen together because y'all got to lay low because
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: he got a stalker. And then she says, all these
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: red flags were popping up, but I overlooked him because
- 1:02:26Speaker 7: I wanted this to work out. A lady came on
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: my show one time and said the best line I
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: heard about red flags. She said, ladies, stop collecting red flags.
- 1:02:37Speaker 7: Stop collecting You see, y'all, we red flags pop up,
- 1:02:40Speaker 7: go the other way, stop collecting them. But you know
- 1:02:44Speaker 7: why she was collecting them, because she wanted this to
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: work out. I gave him the benefit of the doubt,
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: the benefit of the doubt. Last weekend we had planned
- 1:02:54Speaker 7: to see Frankie Beverly Mays in Concept and he had
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: a conservice picked me up first and then pick him up.
- 1:02:59Speaker 7: No problem with that. He told me to come in
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: so we can have a drink. Before we left. We
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: started fooling around and he took me into one of
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: the guest bedrooms, which I thought was weird. But you
- 1:03:09Speaker 7: took your ass in there anyway. See now it was weird.
- 1:03:13Speaker 7: See you a little slow, but let me tell you
- 1:03:16Speaker 7: how quick you get over stuff. As I got naked,
- 1:03:27Speaker 7: he told me to come in so we can have
- 1:03:29Speaker 7: a dream. We started fooling around and he took me
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: into one of the guest bedrooms, which I thought was weird.
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: So as I got naked, the next lafe we got
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: over that week you got you got real good, real fast.
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: This weird bedroom down the hardway.
- 1:03:52Speaker 7: Let me go and get these clothes off before I
- 1:03:55Speaker 7: figured this out. As I got naked, I heard a
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: woman's voice. He picked me up, wrapped me in the sheets,
- 1:04:04Speaker 7: and put me in a walk in closet and says
- 1:04:07Speaker 7: he thinks his stalker is in the house and I
- 1:04:11Speaker 7: need to stand in the closet and be quiet because
- 1:04:15Speaker 7: she crazy.
- 1:04:16Speaker 8: What what.
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: Wait a minute, you got nigked. You hear a woman's voice.
- 1:04:25Speaker 7: He pick you up, wrap you in the sheet, the sheets,
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: your flow ass to the closet. You stand there, moneyfied, Yes,
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: wrapped up tight. Probably wrap your mouth up too, so
- 1:04:39Speaker 7: you couldn't say nothing. Now you in that looking like
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: a full blown mommy in a tune. And you hear
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: a woman's voice. He told you be quiet cause she crazy.
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: Right after he said that, I could faintly hear him
- 1:04:53Speaker 7: asking the woman to go to the concert with him,
- 1:04:56Speaker 7: and then silence. Who takes a stalker to see Frankie Beverly?
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: You know how hard it is to enjoy a show
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: and somebody's standing next to you trying to kill you.
- 1:05:10Speaker 7: I can't believe this. Come I look a murderer with
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: me to the concert? What easy? And he starts his
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: concert with we all won.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: See, we gotta go.
- 1:05:29Speaker 7: I got to come back and give you just my
- 1:05:31Speaker 7: last piece of this right here. You know it's a
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: lot of slow people listening.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: All right, We'll be back with part three, The Strawberry
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Letter for today.
- 1:05:42Speaker 13: Yo.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: At forty six minutes after right after this, you're listening
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: Morning show, all right, because this letter is so crazy.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: Steve had to do a part three.
- 1:05:54Speaker 7: I'm gonna just go with this real quick. This woman
- 1:05:56Speaker 7: that don't know how to figure stuff out to meet
- 1:05:58Speaker 7: this man that they start dating, and she twenty eight
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: thirty six told him we got to lay load because
- 1:06:03Speaker 7: I got stalker. Okay, So now we went out to
- 1:06:06Speaker 7: his house and he got real nice. How she asked
- 1:06:09Speaker 7: me how he decorated, How I told her. He told
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: her mama was decorating, and she helped her. But his
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: house way out in the suburbs. So we spend all
- 1:06:16Speaker 7: the time at my apartment because don't nobody want to
- 1:06:19Speaker 7: drive nowhere to no nice house. We just rather stay
- 1:06:23Speaker 7: over here in the hood and do our business, you know.
- 1:06:26Speaker 7: And so now, okay, so now he invited you to
- 1:06:29Speaker 7: go to Frankie Beverly concert and he had a Conservice
- 1:06:32Speaker 7: pick you up. He told me come in, so we
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: have a drink and we started fooling around, and then
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: he took me to one of the guest bedrooms, now
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: which I thought was wed, you know. And but then
- 1:06:42Speaker 7: as I got naked, but she gets over steps real
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: fast in this lever yard, it's just ooh, it's wed.
- 1:06:48Speaker 7: Let me take these clothes off, and so she took
- 1:06:50Speaker 7: her clothes off. I heard a woman's voice. He picked
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: me up, wrapped me in the sheets, and put me
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: in the walk in closet and said, he thinks his
- 1:06:57Speaker 7: stalker is in the house. I need to stand in
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: the closet and be quiet because she crazy. All right now,
- 1:07:04Speaker 7: now you you mummified, you wrapped up real tight and
- 1:07:08Speaker 7: even wrapped your mouth, your head up, you and that
- 1:07:10Speaker 7: can't do number. See he left a little slit so
- 1:07:13Speaker 7: you could see, that's.
- 1:07:15Speaker 9: All it was.
- 1:07:16Speaker 7: And men, you could faintly hear him asking the woman
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: to go to the concert with him, and then silence.
- 1:07:23Speaker 7: So you telling me that the stalker then broke in,
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: and his way to calm the crazy stalker down is
- 1:07:31Speaker 7: invite her to Frankie bevet Maids once again. Do you
- 1:07:36Speaker 7: know how hard it is to enjoy a concert standing
- 1:07:40Speaker 7: there next to somebody trying to kill you? That is hard.
- 1:07:45Speaker 7: That's some hard ass partying right there. I ain't. I
- 1:07:48Speaker 7: dodnet been at a party and a shot rang out,
- 1:07:51Speaker 7: and it messed me. I didn't. I didn't take the
- 1:07:54Speaker 7: murderer with me, And so then there was silence, and
- 1:07:59Speaker 7: then fifteen minutes later, he text me and asked me
- 1:08:02Speaker 7: to make up the bed and get in the uber
- 1:08:05Speaker 7: and he'd explain things later. I left the room a
- 1:08:08Speaker 7: message I know that's right. Good you better show him
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: and I left that He's been calling me non stop,
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: but I won't answer. Why did he force me in
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: the closet and leave? Let me ask you a question.
- 1:08:18Speaker 7: Why you think he forced you in that closet clouset
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: and then leave? Well, let me just take a look
- 1:08:24Speaker 7: at it how you would look at it, Because he
- 1:08:27Speaker 7: didn't want you to get attacked by the stalker that
- 1:08:30Speaker 7: he was finn to take to the concert with the
- 1:08:32Speaker 7: ticket that he bought for you and him. So I
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: ain't no need to waste in this damn ticket. Let
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: me carry his stalker down here live in this nice
- 1:08:39Speaker 7: hand's house who decorated damn so because it's his wife.

- 1:18:12Speaker 1: You're listening Morning show.
- 1:18:16Speaker 5: All right?
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Here we are, last break of the day. All right,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Steve hit us with your closing remarks. What do you
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: have for us today?
- 1:18:23Speaker 7: Just some more encouragement. I want to try to give
- 1:18:30Speaker 7: you a mindset, and you can pick and choose whichever
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: you like, but I want to try to give you
- 1:18:37Speaker 7: a mindset to succeed with. I want you all to
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: start thinking about your goals, your visions, and your dreams,
- 1:18:54Speaker 7: and I want you to think of them like their
- 1:18:58Speaker 7: long overdue. Have you wanted something for so long that
- 1:19:05Speaker 7: you think that it's long overdue? Have you ever dreamt
- 1:19:11Speaker 7: of something so many times and it's yet to happen
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: that you kind of feel like it's long overdue. I
- 1:19:21Speaker 7: want you to take that feeling that is long overdue,
- 1:19:25Speaker 7: and I want you to internalize that feeling, because what
- 1:19:29Speaker 7: I want you to do is I want you to
- 1:19:30Speaker 7: take that feeling and I want you to use it
- 1:19:33Speaker 7: as your motivation to pursue your dreams and goals. Because
- 1:19:39Speaker 7: some of you are right, it's long overdue now. Some
- 1:19:43Speaker 7: of you may feel that way because you're just impatient.
- 1:19:46Speaker 7: But however you want to look at it. I want
- 1:19:48Speaker 7: you to take that long overdue feeling and I want
- 1:19:51Speaker 7: you to use it as your motivation to spur you
- 1:19:54Speaker 7: to get at it. Take that long overdue feeling and
- 1:20:00Speaker 7: start looking at your life in terms of you know what,
- 1:20:03Speaker 7: Now's the time. Now is the time. There is no
- 1:20:09Speaker 7: better time than now. Don't worry about getting all your
- 1:20:12Speaker 7: ducks lined up in the road, because they don't line up.
- 1:20:15Speaker 7: Don't wait till the perfect time, because there is no
- 1:20:18Speaker 7: such a time. You got to remember that there's a
- 1:20:22Speaker 7: force out there that don't want you to succeed. His job,
- 1:20:27Speaker 7: the devil's job, is to throw blocks in your path,
- 1:20:31Speaker 7: to throw temptation in your path, to test you all
- 1:20:35Speaker 7: along the way. All God needs us to do is
- 1:20:40Speaker 7: pass these tests. You're not going to pass all of them,
- 1:20:44Speaker 7: but he wants your best effort. But you got to
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: act like, now's the time. You've got to develop a
- 1:20:53Speaker 7: sense of urgency. This thing that's long overdough, this thing
- 1:21:00Speaker 7: that's long overdue, the time for it to start happening
- 1:21:03Speaker 7: is now. And I have to develop and you have
- 1:21:07Speaker 7: to develop a sense of urgency to get it done.
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: It's this sense of urgency that spurs you. It springs
- 1:21:16Speaker 7: you into action. See, the hospital is filled with rooms
- 1:21:22Speaker 7: of care and all like this, but you got different divisions.
- 1:21:26Speaker 8: Now.
- 1:21:26Speaker 7: If you and I see you, intensive care unit, it's
- 1:21:31Speaker 7: intensive care. They in that watching you all the time.
- 1:21:35Speaker 7: They got you monitored regularly, you hooked up to machines.
- 1:21:38Speaker 7: It's down there at the nursing station, you and I
- 1:21:41Speaker 7: see you. They got the emergency room that's set up
- 1:21:45Speaker 7: for people who are stuffed and popped off unexpectedly and
- 1:21:48Speaker 7: you need some care right away. Now, the fact that
- 1:21:51Speaker 7: you got to sit there and wait on your right
- 1:21:54Speaker 7: away all this time. It's still the emergency room. But
- 1:22:01Speaker 7: you want to approach your life with a sense of urgency.
- 1:22:06Speaker 7: You don't have to sit there and get put on
- 1:22:07Speaker 7: hold like they do at the hospital. Fill out the paperwork.
- 1:22:11Speaker 7: You got develop a sense of urgency because if it's
- 1:22:14Speaker 7: long overdue, and now is the time you might as
- 1:22:17Speaker 7: well develop a sense of urgency. Your success, your dreams
- 1:22:22Speaker 7: and visions of happening and occurring have to be critical.
- 1:22:27Speaker 7: They have to be critical. It's got to be critical.
- 1:22:32Speaker 7: You have to perform in your life like you are
- 1:22:35Speaker 7: in a state of being critical. This is critical. It's critical,
- 1:22:42Speaker 7: y'all that you become successful. It's critical. It's tied to
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: your happiness, your success, your well being. It's critical. This
- 1:22:53Speaker 7: ain't something man that we can casually deal with. It
- 1:22:57Speaker 7: has to be critical to you. You have to have
- 1:23:02Speaker 7: it in your mind that being happy and being successful
- 1:23:08Speaker 7: is something that you can't live without.
- 1:23:12Speaker 8: Why not?
- 1:23:14Speaker 7: Do you know how many negative things people feel is
- 1:23:17Speaker 7: overdue that they have a sense of urgency junkies addicts,
- 1:23:21Speaker 7: it's a sense of urgency for that and it's a
- 1:23:23Speaker 7: negative thing. I got to get high. I got to
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: get my fix. Do you know that people developed sense
- 1:23:29Speaker 7: of urgencies and and and and and and and things
- 1:23:32Speaker 7: being critical over so many negative things. I gotta get
- 1:23:36Speaker 7: down there a happy hour. I gotta get more likes
- 1:23:39Speaker 7: on my page. I gotta do something that I don't
- 1:23:42Speaker 7: really feel comfortable doing because I gotta get more likes.
- 1:23:45Speaker 7: I gotta show some parts of my body. I really
- 1:23:47Speaker 7: don't want to show, but I'm trying to get some likes.
- 1:23:49Speaker 7: I'm trying to get my followers up. Do you know
- 1:23:52Speaker 7: how many people are feeling critical about that? How many
- 1:23:56Speaker 7: people are approaching that negativity with a sense of urgency
- 1:24:02Speaker 7: that they can't live without. Well, let me explain something
- 1:24:04Speaker 7: to you. You should feel that way about your success,
- 1:24:08Speaker 7: and you should feel that way about your happiness. That
- 1:24:11Speaker 7: is critical, man, it's overdue. Now's the time you have
- 1:24:18Speaker 7: to have a sense of urgency. Your happiness and success
- 1:24:21Speaker 7: is critical to your well being. You cannot live without it.
- 1:24:26Speaker 7: That's the mindset you have to have towards your success.
- 1:24:30Speaker 7: If you don't, you're not going to be successful. I'm sorry,
- 1:24:33Speaker 7: I hate to tell you that, but you won't be successful.
- 1:24:37Speaker 7: People feel that way. It's critical. Get critical about your
- 1:24:40Speaker 7: happiness and about your success and get it done. Those
- 1:24:44Speaker 7: are my closing remarks today. Enjoy your day, Listen, talk
- 1:24:48Speaker 7: to God today. He would absolutely love to hear from you.
- 1:24:52Speaker 7: He really would. It don't matter if it's been a while.
