- 0:03Speaker 1: Y'all know what time of y'all don't know, y'all have
- 0:09Speaker 1: a suit on looking back to back down, giving them
- 0:13Speaker 1: more like the million buck things in the cubbings me
- 0:20Speaker 1: good it, Steh, listen to move together for study. I
- 0:38Speaker 1: don't join joining me. You gotta turn, you gotta turn
- 1:40Speaker 1: to turn them out. You got to turn them out.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Then turn the water. The water got me. Come come
- 1:58Speaker 1: on your fad uh huh I sure well, good morning everybody.
- 2:05Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, come on dig me
- 2:08Speaker 1: now want and only Steve Harvey got a radio show,
- 2:13Speaker 1: man on man on man. I thank God for it.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I thank God for all he's done for me, for
- 2:21Speaker 1: all the little things that are oftentimes failed to thank
- 2:25Speaker 1: him for that I take for granted for you know,
- 2:30Speaker 1: I was. I was talking the other day to a
- 2:32Speaker 1: buddy of mine. We had gotten to this conversation about
- 2:37Speaker 1: God and and and in the conversation we had narrowed
- 2:42Speaker 1: it down and we were talking about changing the way
- 2:45Speaker 1: we are as people. You know that everybody has to change.
- 2:50Speaker 1: You know, nothing stays the same. Everybody changes, and a
- 2:55Speaker 1: lot of these changes can be for the good, and
- 2:58Speaker 1: a lot of them are just they just with time.
- 3:00Speaker 1: You know, sometimes it's aging that changes us. But no
- 3:04Speaker 1: matter how old you get, you still have the ability
- 3:10Speaker 1: to improve as a person. You may not have the
- 3:13Speaker 1: foot speed you used to have. You may not be
- 3:17Speaker 1: as agile as you used to be. Your energy level
- 3:23Speaker 1: may not be what it used to be. Your desire
- 3:27Speaker 1: to do some of the things that you used to
- 3:29Speaker 1: do may be gone. The thing that doesn't have to
- 3:37Speaker 1: change and will not change, is you. You have the
- 3:42Speaker 1: ability to continue to grow as a person even when
- 3:49Speaker 1: far the time and nature has taken its course. We
- 3:55Speaker 1: were talking about everybody can change, and everybody has the
- 4:05Speaker 1: right to reinvent themselves as they get older, and I
- 4:11Speaker 1: equated it to jumping out of an airplane. You know,
- 4:15Speaker 1: there are some people man who get to a certain
- 4:18Speaker 1: point in their life and they and they jump from
- 4:21Speaker 1: the airplane. Is now almost a stunt of some kind.
- 4:27Speaker 1: It's almost like they life and got out of control.
- 4:30Speaker 1: You ever seen somebody jump out of airplane and the
- 4:33Speaker 1: parachute don't open, and they lifestart and it seems like
- 4:36Speaker 1: they start spinning and tumbling and they can't get it together.
- 4:39Speaker 1: And I've seen some mid air rescues before. But then
- 4:43Speaker 1: there are times when you know when it hasn't worked.
- 4:46Speaker 1: You know, you jump out that airplane and and and
- 4:49Speaker 1: at first it's fun. I've never skydive before, but I
- 4:54Speaker 1: would imagine when you first jump out of an airplane
- 4:57Speaker 1: that they people describe it as a a sense of
- 5:00Speaker 1: being free. And it's exhilarating when you first jump out
- 5:05Speaker 1: the plane. But if you pull that cord and nothing happens.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I never happened to me, but I can only imagine
- 5:14Speaker 1: the panic that's got to set in, because no matter
- 5:18Speaker 1: how fun it was a moment ago, the flying over
- 5:22Speaker 1: to one another, holding hands in the air, the breeze,
- 5:26Speaker 1: the descent of the feeling of all of a sudden,
- 5:31Speaker 1: if you reach for that cord and that's not there,
- 5:34Speaker 1: you're suddenly spinning out of control. And that's what happens
- 5:38Speaker 1: in a lot of people's lives. When you first start
- 5:42Speaker 1: your life, you jump out the plane, you're free, you're young,
- 5:44Speaker 1: you ain't got nothing to where about it. But then
- 5:46Speaker 1: you get to a certain point in your life when
- 5:48Speaker 1: you go, okay, I'm gonna pull the cord now. And
- 5:53Speaker 1: pulling the cord is an important thing, because here's the
- 5:57Speaker 1: analogy my friend gave me he said, Man, use your
- 6:03Speaker 1: mind like a parachute. It works better when it's open. Well,
- 6:09Speaker 1: see what happens with a lot of people, is they
- 6:13Speaker 1: in life. They jump out the plane and they and
- 6:17Speaker 1: they having this free fall and it's fun for now.
- 6:22Speaker 1: But they get to a certain point in their life
- 6:24Speaker 1: where they got themselves in a situation, or they've had
- 6:27Speaker 1: a little bit too much fun a little bit too long,
- 6:29Speaker 1: or you know, they wasn't open to nothing and they
- 6:32Speaker 1: just did what they wanted to do, or they started
- 6:35Speaker 1: getting involved with drugs or drinking, or started running with
- 6:38Speaker 1: the wrong people. So you jump out the plane. The
- 6:40Speaker 1: first you're free falling, it is fun. But then after
- 6:43Speaker 1: a minute, man, something happens and they realize whoa and
- 6:46Speaker 1: they reach for the chord, and the chord don't work. Well.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Now you're in the panic stricken situation. And my suggesting
- 6:52Speaker 1: is what I've learned from the analogy that my friends
- 6:55Speaker 1: shared with me, is that we all the sooner we
- 6:58Speaker 1: can open our minds God, the sooner we could develop
- 7:02Speaker 1: that relationship with him. It's like pulling the cord and
- 7:08Speaker 1: opening a parachute. If you open up your mind to God,
- 7:12Speaker 1: God is like a parachute. You know, God can slow
- 7:17Speaker 1: your descent. God can turn this out of control free
- 7:22Speaker 1: fall into a nice ride for you. See, that's what
- 7:27Speaker 1: happened to me. I was spinning out of control. I
- 7:32Speaker 1: had gotten myself into a point man while I wasn't
- 7:36Speaker 1: doing real good. Oh, y'all would look at me and think,
- 7:40Speaker 1: man Stevie man nam, I wasn't doing real good. I
- 7:46Speaker 1: had spun out of control. I was. I was in
- 7:49Speaker 1: a free fall and I reached for the court, but
- 7:52Speaker 1: I was so far away the chord didn't open. Then
- 7:55Speaker 1: I went to him and I pulled the cord. When
- 7:58Speaker 1: I went to God, I pulled the cord and open,
- 8:02Speaker 1: and he slowed my descent. And this is what I
- 8:05Speaker 1: just believe. I don't believe now that I aged as
- 8:09Speaker 1: fast as I was aging, because I got that parachute open. Now,
- 8:13Speaker 1: you know, I take better care of myself, eating, I
- 8:15Speaker 1: work out more. Now you know, I'm not out of control.
- 8:19Speaker 1: I have a direction now that when then got up
- 8:23Speaker 1: under that parachute a little bit, you know, and now
- 8:26Speaker 1: I'm I'm I'm going you know, I'm still getting older,
- 8:30Speaker 1: you know, so, but the descent is so slow. Now
- 8:33Speaker 1: I'm able to enjoy the ride. I'm guiding my parachute over.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Sometimes we go over to to a vacation spot over here,
- 8:40Speaker 1: we float back over to it. But you know, I'm
- 8:43Speaker 1: still getting old. I'm still going down. But the descent.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Because I've opened my mind to God, the parachute has
- 8:52Speaker 1: slowed my descent. And now I'm rocking back and forth.
- 8:57Speaker 1: But I ain't spending out of control no more. You know,
- 8:59Speaker 1: I'm able to enjoy the view now. You know, when
- 9:03Speaker 1: you jump out that plane and you and you pull
- 9:05Speaker 1: that cord and it don't work, you ain't looking at
- 9:07Speaker 1: the view no more. You're thinking of only one thing.
- 9:10Speaker 1: How can I slow this down? Well, now I'm able
- 9:12Speaker 1: to enjoy the view. I'm able to see all the
- 9:15Speaker 1: beautiful things on the horizon that God has for me.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I'm able to see all the beautiful things around me
- 9:22Speaker 1: that He's provided for me over these years. Because I've
- 9:25Speaker 1: slowed my descent. I used my mind like a parachute.
- 9:30Speaker 1: It works better when it's open. Open your mind to God,
- 9:35Speaker 1: and so you can see the view, so you can
- 9:38Speaker 1: slow the descent, so you can stop the out of
- 9:41Speaker 1: control freefall that you've been on. That you can get
- 9:44Speaker 1: your life together and see everything out on the horizon
- 9:47Speaker 1: that God has for you. You know, it turned out
- 9:50Speaker 1: to be a very true statement your mind. If you
- 9:53Speaker 1: use it like a parachute, it works better when it's open. Y'all.
- 9:56Speaker 1: You're listening to show, ladies and gentlemen, Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. Do I have it? That's what I'm
- 10:07Speaker 1: looking for your undivided attention. It's about to go down
- 10:12Speaker 1: for complimental players today, it's about to go down. Is
- 10:17Speaker 1: it gonna be ignorant? Probably? So? Is it gonna be
- 10:20Speaker 1: informative somewhat? Is it going to be inspirational? I promise
- 10:26Speaker 1: you that will it be entertaining? Cut you damn radio
- 10:30Speaker 1: up and watch this hill. Shirley Strawberry, Hey, good morning, Steve,
- 10:36Speaker 1: Happy Monday, calif Rell, Good morning, Crew show Monday. After
- 10:42Speaker 1: the fight? What's up? What's up? Well? Luco's here? Junior
- 10:47Speaker 1: bar Man? Morning? Everybody? Who that was Sutton, wasn't it?
- 10:53Speaker 1: Jathany Brown? Mark me down for ignorant. I'll take too,
- 10:57Speaker 1: egnath to go, Nephew Tommy. Nothing like looking at a
- 11:01Speaker 1: good ass whooping? What's up baby? That's what happened? Wow? Well, Steve,
- 11:10Speaker 1: you were there, Yeah, I was there. Yeah in the building.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Come on, tell listen. Uh y'all saw it. Yeah, but
- 11:26Speaker 1: you got inside you can see stuff we couldn't see. Yeah.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Dante Wilder is a good fighter. Dante Wilder has what
- 11:37Speaker 1: it takes to be champed. Sadday. He ran into a
- 11:42Speaker 1: better boxer or skillful boxer on Friday. And what Dante
- 11:51Speaker 1: Wilder has to do now because they're gonna do a
- 11:54Speaker 1: rematch because he got too much guts. He ain't gonna
- 11:56Speaker 1: just go down like that. But I am telling you
- 11:59Speaker 1: right now, Dante Wilder has to change his corner. It's
- 12:06Speaker 1: not Mark Brelan. Mark Brelan through that twal in he
- 12:09Speaker 1: was correct. It's that guy that trains him with the
- 12:14Speaker 1: water That's all he did with post water in every
- 12:17Speaker 1: time he came over. Listen, man, the guy that he
- 12:25Speaker 1: has to do. He has to get another person in
- 12:30Speaker 1: there as his trainer. He has to get that man
- 12:35Speaker 1: because he has what it takes. He just is not
- 12:39Speaker 1: being told the things he needs to do to become
- 12:43Speaker 1: to beat anybody. And man, like, what are some of
- 12:48Speaker 1: the things he should they should have told him? Run
- 12:54Speaker 1: watch the left because Jay, you don't think they could
- 12:57Speaker 1: have there's anything they could He had to get nothing.
- 13:00Speaker 1: If Dante Willer could have just got on the outside
- 13:04Speaker 1: of Dyson Fury's right foot, that slows a big man down.
- 13:10Speaker 1: You got to get on the outside of his right foot.
- 13:15Speaker 1: You got that. That's for starters, and then some type
- 13:18Speaker 1: of lateral movement to make the big dude have to
- 13:22Speaker 1: find you. Ye hold that thought, Steve Hold, have been quick,
- 13:28Speaker 1: bring me miss dann Wad and tell me what I
- 13:29Speaker 1: needed to do. Coming up with thirty two minutes after
- 13:32Speaker 1: the hour, we'll talk more Part two of this fight talks.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Steve Harvey was in Vegas where it went down. We'll
- 13:40Speaker 1: talk to him more right after that. You're listening to show,
- 13:47Speaker 1: all right, Steve, So we were talking before we went
- 13:49Speaker 1: to break about the fight. You were actually let me
- 13:53Speaker 1: ask you guys a question and watch it on TV
- 13:55Speaker 1: because I didn't see it on TV. So you know
- 13:57Speaker 1: they put the cameras in the corner. Now, let me
- 14:00Speaker 1: ask you a question. When Dante came to the corner
- 14:03Speaker 1: of what was being said? Nothing nothing, nothing, nothing that
- 14:07Speaker 1: I watched the fight. When you look outside of the
- 14:10Speaker 1: ropes to see where your mama at is Glenn's over
- 14:18Speaker 1: there said you get yours finish, okay, So now look here,
- 14:31Speaker 1: nothing listen to me, at least the first people. You
- 14:34Speaker 1: have a corner. If you have a corner with with
- 14:37Speaker 1: with real fight dudes in it, right, that is something
- 14:42Speaker 1: some counter to everything that a fighter does. That is
- 14:47Speaker 1: some counter, especially in the early going. But you gotta
- 14:51Speaker 1: be able to say, hey, get on the outside of
- 14:54Speaker 1: his foot. But that comes from not watching tapes, not
- 14:58Speaker 1: having a real serious game playing, because the game plan
- 15:01Speaker 1: could not have been We're gonna do what we did
- 15:04Speaker 1: last knockout, knockout. It was the plane because Tyson Fury
- 15:08Speaker 1: came in with a new boy from Crump's gym. And
- 15:12Speaker 1: I'm telling you, man, you saw a different fighter than
- 15:15Speaker 1: the first fight. The only thing said was the only
- 15:21Speaker 1: thing his cornic because the sails. I'm gonna leave here
- 15:24Speaker 1: and go get you a big stick. I'll be right back, sure.
- 15:34Speaker 1: But I was asking, see, what did you think about
- 15:37Speaker 1: his entrance and all of that. I mean, I was
- 15:39Speaker 1: sitting in front of Thomas Hearns and Mike Tyson, and
- 15:43Speaker 1: so I had I'm having a conversation with two legends
- 15:47Speaker 1: all through the fight. Man, I turned around, I asked
- 15:51Speaker 1: Mike Tyson. I said, Mike, you ever seen anything like this?
- 15:54Speaker 1: Said na, Na, take your shirt off, walk up the
- 16:00Speaker 1: ropes and start whooping ass. Let's go a Mike said
- 16:08Speaker 1: he ain't never seen the like. He said, man, that's
- 16:10Speaker 1: what they do now, he said, he's costume. Oh yeah, Tyson,
- 16:17Speaker 1: head man, how might say, walk down the rope, get
- 16:24Speaker 1: in the ring, take your rope off, and start whooping ass.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Tyson had Tyson had a toe with a hole in it. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:37Speaker 1: over his head came out, took that towel off, no socks,
- 16:41Speaker 1: short ass black shorts, short ass boots, and beat your
- 16:45Speaker 1: ass soon after, right out there, first round, it's over.
- 16:52Speaker 1: You're still getting your drinks and popcorn. Try and sit down, Mike,
- 16:55Speaker 1: fight open. He didn't see it. Wilder didn't look right
- 17:02Speaker 1: in his dressing room. He really looked to me. Look,
- 17:05Speaker 1: he pays so much. He pays, he pays for an hour. Man.
- 17:09Speaker 1: But dog, but now you gotta get warm. You know,
- 17:14Speaker 1: it's everybody fighting a different way now. I went to
- 17:16Speaker 1: Dante's dressing room before, and I didn't want to go
- 17:19Speaker 1: in there because I wanted to leave him focus. But
- 17:22Speaker 1: my boy Sam saying, no, man, he needs to see
- 17:24Speaker 1: you in Greg Man because he said, a man, the
- 17:27Speaker 1: whole world against this boy. He needs to see man
- 17:30Speaker 1: that somebody just love on him. Trust. And so then
- 17:34Speaker 1: Sam stood and said, I said, hey man. He was
- 17:36Speaker 1: getting his hands taped. He was focused, had his head down.
- 17:39Speaker 1: And then Sam said, big day, big d Look who here.
- 17:43Speaker 1: He looked up. He said, hey, stayed judge. Man, who's up?
- 17:49Speaker 1: So go get him? Man. You know, because I'm really
- 17:52Speaker 1: pulling for the different right, I'm really really pulling for
- 17:55Speaker 1: the dude. You know, Alabama boy, you know we all
- 18:02Speaker 1: hey man, the arena. The arena was clearly Tyson people.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Yeah man. Now the biggest applause of the night was
- 18:13Speaker 1: when holy Field, Lennox, Lewis, and Tyson got ready. When
- 18:17Speaker 1: Tyson climbed through the ropes, that damn place erupted because
- 18:24Speaker 1: oh yeah, he was the last monster heavyweight that people
- 18:29Speaker 1: came to see and they was in the ring. That
- 18:31Speaker 1: was him in holy Field, the last great fights. I
- 18:35Speaker 1: remember that fight. I was at that fight at the
- 18:39Speaker 1: MGM because the team over it's a nicer place to
- 18:44Speaker 1: throw a fight now. I like seeing them shake hands
- 18:46Speaker 1: and hug. Now, when he hugged. He said, when he
- 18:49Speaker 1: hugged the Holy Field, he said, you just can't. Can't
- 18:57Speaker 1: he did? Of the end? Who else was there? Still? Uh,
- 19:04Speaker 1: there's a lot of people. Man. Oh I saw Rick Ross.
- 19:07Speaker 1: Me and Ross had a good conversation. Yeah, he posted
- 19:09Speaker 1: that picture if y'all didn't. Yeah, I saw Ross Man.
- 19:12Speaker 1: He was cool, weird least said, oh gee, what happened? Man?
- 19:16Speaker 1: I don't understand. Ross was not understanding this loss. So
- 19:20Speaker 1: you know, we talked. Dudes, it's a magic was I
- 19:23Speaker 1: saw magic? U huh uh? Saw? I saw so many people,
- 19:28Speaker 1: you know what. I did. Like Dante Wilder's entrance the
- 19:31Speaker 1: Black Cast. It was nice on the tunnel. I like
- 19:36Speaker 1: the little outfit. I like the outfit with the little
- 19:39Speaker 1: lights on it. Now I'm not fitting to wear all
- 19:41Speaker 1: that in there because then I gotta take it off. Yeah. Yeah,
- 19:44Speaker 1: I can't come to fight and get undressed. Man. So
- 19:54Speaker 1: so we kind of take away what you think another
- 19:57Speaker 1: year of training, he'll be back. I hope that he
- 20:00Speaker 1: changes his corner. Oh, we got that dude. That water
- 20:02Speaker 1: got to go, not that he got to go. He's out.
- 20:07Speaker 1: Tell me he's about this dude. I like I like
- 20:13Speaker 1: Mark Brelan. I think he's smart. I think he's good
- 20:16Speaker 1: for Dante because he's been in the wars before. It's
- 20:19Speaker 1: the it's the God and White guy. I don't know
- 20:22Speaker 1: his name, but he's been with him a long time.
- 20:24Speaker 1: I don't care for him as a trainer man. He
- 20:28Speaker 1: has to change his corner. It ain't timpany. He ain't
- 20:31Speaker 1: had nothing to say. You can ask. We need to
- 20:33Speaker 1: tell me something. The ref can give you some water.
- 20:35Speaker 1: That's Tommy in this water, all right. Coming up next,
- 20:40Speaker 1: it is Monday. We have church complaints with Reverend Motown
- 20:43Speaker 1: and Deacon death Jam. That's coming up right after this
- 20:46Speaker 1: you're listening show. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 20:51Speaker 1: Miss Hannah standing by with today's national news and in
- 20:54Speaker 1: trending entertainment news, we'll talk about again more the Wilder
- 20:58Speaker 1: Versus Fury fight in Laws Vegas. Plus we'll run down
- 21:01Speaker 1: the big winners from the NAACP Image Award, and one
- 21:05Speaker 1: winner is amongst us if you can guess who that is, yes, yes, yes, Also,
- 21:11Speaker 1: this is some very sad news out of New York.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Lifestyle guru B Smith has passed away. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 21:20Speaker 1: We'll talk about all these stories at the top of
- 21:22Speaker 1: the hour. But right now it is time to switch gears.
- 21:25Speaker 1: It's Monday time for church complaints with Reverend Motown and
- 21:28Speaker 1: Deacon deaf Jam. Yes, oh, we all gonna do this

- 22:16Speaker 1: put a t do you you know? Damn Toma daughter, Yes,
- 22:24Speaker 1: down for this time for rehevingus church to complain. Yeah
- 22:30Speaker 1: about something that's going on. So go ahead, or this
- 22:34Speaker 1: is the leader or the complaint committee, ye, Uncle Tom

- 23:20Speaker 1: it's thirty cents a day. He won't come. He wants
- 23:25Speaker 1: three three one way tickets, uh, for the church to
- 23:29Speaker 1: pay for that path that we can get three one
- 23:30Speaker 1: way tickets for these kids till they turn eighteen. We're
- 23:33Speaker 1: not buying one way tickets. Were not sending them kids
- 23:39Speaker 1: to Africa. You're gonna raise them kids yourself. You you
- 23:44Speaker 1: took you more than three attempts to get them, and
- 23:46Speaker 1: there was no asking for help for that. Wasn't so
- 23:51Speaker 1: Now that you have triplets, deal with it. Be a man.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Man up. Yeah, but the thirty cents a day are
- 23:57Speaker 1: mad up? The sense better than seven fifty. Man. I'm
- 24:03Speaker 1: just saying, all right, let's keep it going. Ay, that
- 24:06Speaker 1: was not a white lady at ten o'clock serving us
- 24:09Speaker 1: to day listening sister Kavanaugh's lights got turned out, she
- 24:13Speaker 1: got dressed in the dog on Sunday Mart and he
- 24:15Speaker 1: accidentally put calamine lotion out instead of regular lotion. All right,
- 24:21Speaker 1: she is completely white and it won't wash out. They
- 24:25Speaker 1: think we're gonna have the pressure wash out passing. She's asking,
- 24:30Speaker 1: she's asking for eight fifty to get her lights turned
- 24:33Speaker 1: back on. But she's not a's not a bad looking
- 24:36Speaker 1: white lady. Up. He really didn't all be done. I
- 24:40Speaker 1: shut up and talked to Hood in my office after
- 24:43Speaker 1: serving for a half because thanking her for coming into
- 24:49Speaker 1: joining with us, and I just knew more white people
- 24:53Speaker 1: to follow. That was all I saw. It was the
- 24:57Speaker 1: extra tize that we're gonna be coming in, all said,
- 25:01Speaker 1: Praise God. Finally white member. That was just the Camana man.
- 25:10Speaker 1: That's who that man? All right, moving right along. We
- 25:15Speaker 1: got a problem here pass the Double D broad Drive
- 25:18Speaker 1: is uh coming this sa this Saturday to what's the
- 25:22Speaker 1: Double D by broad Drive. It is this common Saturday,
- 25:26Speaker 1: and our goal is to recoup two hundred Double D
- 25:29Speaker 1: broads for the less fortunate. Now, the ladies who are
- 25:32Speaker 1: smaller than Double D are complaining that we aren't doing
- 25:36Speaker 1: anything for them, and they playing on protesting the drive,
- 25:39Speaker 1: saying that they're gonna march. It's the little bit of march,
- 25:42Speaker 1: is what they counted, the little bit of march. How
- 25:44Speaker 1: you want to hand? Just want to full wander or
- 25:48Speaker 1: d BT marches. This is the fastest way to get
- 25:52Speaker 1: to Dante Wilds them double D sisters is bout it?
- 26:00Speaker 1: Bout it? I would be careful, of course if I
- 26:06Speaker 1: have been slapped with a double D. Damn, k NEI
- 26:15Speaker 1: got knocked out. I was at the up the Double

- 27:56Speaker 1: I prefer she be shifting in hut. You all right, lads,
- 28:03Speaker 1: but not least bastard. The iPhone members and the Android
- 28:07Speaker 1: members almost had to fight this bad Sunday. They don't
- 28:10Speaker 1: respect each other. The iPhone people claiming that they stuff
- 28:13Speaker 1: is in the cloud and the Android people saying there
- 28:15Speaker 1: ain't nobody in the cloud but Jesus, that's who's in
- 28:17Speaker 1: the cloud. They are asking can they be separated? The
- 28:24Speaker 1: Android sit on the left side and the iPhone sit
- 28:26Speaker 1: on the other side. You're gonna have to talk to them.
- 28:31Speaker 1: That's the one. This is just a young folk, old
- 28:33Speaker 1: folk man. All the old people with androids and flip
- 28:37Speaker 1: phones and all that. Let you can see to sit
- 28:42Speaker 1: up front, because you can't see good here. Good so

- 32:57Speaker 1: were pulling for you, wild were pulling for we heard
- 33:03Speaker 1: in wildest conay do that to Nick? Start writing it
- 33:07Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Time to get caught up on today's headlines,
- 33:12Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne Tripp, Thank you very much. Anne.
- 33:16Speaker 1: Good morning, Good Monday morning, everybody. Bernie Sanders far and
- 33:19Speaker 1: away the winner of Saturday's Nevada Caucus is pulling in
- 33:22Speaker 1: a whopping forty six percent of the votes to mister
- 33:24Speaker 1: number two Joe Biden, who came in with just under
- 33:26Speaker 1: twenty percent. Now that it's Sandras is one of the
- 33:29Speaker 1: popular vote in Iowa, New Hampshire, and now Nevada. He
- 33:32Speaker 1: says this proof positive that Americans are done with President Trump.
- 33:35Speaker 1: We are going to win across the country because the
- 33:39Speaker 1: American people are sick and tired of a president who
- 33:45Speaker 1: lies all of the time. However, new poll further stokes
- 33:49Speaker 1: fears of moderate Democrats who are afraid that a Bernie
- 33:51Speaker 1: Sanders nomination would ensure the reelection of Donald Trump. Sanders
- 33:55Speaker 1: first called himself an independent socialist, now describes himself as
- 33:58Speaker 1: a democratic socialist. But a recent survey shows that some
- 34:01Speaker 1: fifty three percent of those poles say they would not
- 34:04Speaker 1: vote for a socialist. A Guy of polesh finds at
- 34:07Speaker 1: nine out of ten Americans say they would vote for
- 34:09Speaker 1: a presidential candidate who was black, Hispanic, Catholic, Jewish, or
- 34:12Speaker 1: a woman. Some eighty two percent of Republicans say though
- 34:15Speaker 1: he wouldn't vote for a socialist, Twenty one percent of
- 34:17Speaker 1: Democrats say they wouldn't either, or so fifty one percent
- 34:21Speaker 1: of self described independence say they would not cast their
- 34:24Speaker 1: ballots for someone who labels themselves as a socialist. Meanwhile,
- 34:28Speaker 1: though President Trump sounds like a fan, the Democrats are
- 34:32Speaker 1: Drinnie Bernie Tenders very unfairly because they don't want Bernie
- 34:36Speaker 1: Tenders to represent him. It sounds like it's sixteen all
- 34:39Speaker 1: over again, the Bernie Banders. Health officials in South Korea
- 34:43Speaker 1: are reporting another one hundred twenty three new cases of
- 34:47Speaker 1: COVID nineteen. That's a coronavirus on the fourth death over there,
- 34:50Speaker 1: so Korea. South Korea now has the second most cases
- 34:54Speaker 1: of coronavirus, about eight hundred, second most next to China.
- 34:59Speaker 1: They are now cases in Iran, Italy, Israel, and Lebanon
- 35:03Speaker 1: have joined more than two dozen other countries where people
- 35:05Speaker 1: are infected as well. A second person has died during
- 35:07Speaker 1: the Marty Grass celebrations in New Orleans. Police say a
- 35:09Speaker 1: man was struck by a Marty Grass float and killed
- 35:12Speaker 1: Saturday night, and a one was accidentally killed along the
- 35:14Speaker 1: parade route last Wednesday night. Today, the country and basketball
- 35:18Speaker 1: fans all over the world say an official goodbye to
- 35:20Speaker 1: Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna. Private funeral held for
- 35:24Speaker 1: the Bryant several days ago, however, public memorial services scheduled
- 35:28Speaker 1: later today at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Finally,
- 35:31Speaker 1: very sad news. Former top model TV personality, author and
- 35:35Speaker 1: Restora tour Barbara Smith has died. B Smith, as she
- 35:38Speaker 1: was known, succumbed to early onset Alzheimer's at age seventy.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Barbara Smith only the second black model to grace the
- 35:44Speaker 1: cover of Mademoiselle magazine. She wrote three home and entertainment books.
- 35:48Speaker 1: Her successful home products line was the first to come
- 35:51Speaker 1: to a national retailer. And she was like on TV, Hi,
- 35:53Speaker 1: I'm B Smith, Welcome to B Smith book Style. Barbara
- 35:56Speaker 1: Smith was only seventy years old. That to Steve Harvey
- 36:00Speaker 1: Morning Show. You're listening all right, So Steve, you did
- 36:06Speaker 1: receive your NAACP Image Award. Uh, We're so happy for
- 36:11Speaker 1: you for Outstanding Game Show Host for Family Feud. We
- 36:15Speaker 1: love family Feud too. What you Anthony Brown is here
- 36:19Speaker 1: and uh he sang. There were a few awards as
- 36:22Speaker 1: the NAACP um uh the committee, the NAACP Image Committee
- 36:28Speaker 1: left out that they missed unctual awards that people winning
- 36:32Speaker 1: a separate awards. They didn't get him on television, but
- 36:35Speaker 1: these are winners. Also in the category of music goes
- 36:40Speaker 1: out to Cora Jenkins who works at the bank and
- 36:43Speaker 1: refuses to turn her radio off. The gospel station because
- 36:46Speaker 1: she said that's the Lord music, Let it play loud.
- 36:49Speaker 1: She won an award. She won an award for that.

- 37:07Speaker 1: stepdaddy's funeral, had to be taken out, found out he
- 37:12Speaker 1: wasn't getting a damn thing, and pulled up real quick,
- 37:15Speaker 1: the real damn when he found out he wasn't getting
- 37:25Speaker 1: or like that. The best CP Award, the Best CP
- 37:29Speaker 1: Excuse Award goes out to Carter Griffin. Carter Griffin who
- 37:35Speaker 1: said he was late for work when his uber driver
- 37:39Speaker 1: went into labor he had to deliver the baby before
- 37:45Speaker 1: he are and continue her route so she wouldn't lose
- 37:51Speaker 1: her job. Oh that's a great line. Yeah, I like that.
- 37:59Speaker 1: The last one right here. Most hair dudes on one head,
- 38:07Speaker 1: the most head dudes on one head. Sister Lavelle Thompsons
- 38:13Speaker 1: when she showed up with bangs, So it was wasn't
- 38:17Speaker 1: some baby hair side birds two puff puffs on the side,
- 38:22Speaker 1: And I like there was a great awards Jack. Even
- 38:32Speaker 1: with some of the awards at the YEA, Yeah, some
- 38:37Speaker 1: of the awards couldn't be a televis Oh yeah, you
- 38:40Speaker 1: know the best Twerk award went to somebody last night too.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I didn't know that at the end. They don't televiss it.
- 38:50Speaker 1: But you say this, Unna say this down as a
- 38:54Speaker 1: shake club. Una say this's got best twerker so much
- 39:01Speaker 1: they thought it was six people applauding. It's un amazing.
- 39:06Speaker 1: N like a good cloud then, like a good cloud.
- 39:10Speaker 1: All right, well, thank you, thank you for putting us
- 39:13Speaker 1: up to speed. Jay and Junior coming up in thirty
- 39:16Speaker 1: four minutes after the hour trending boxing news. Wilder versus Fury.
- 39:21Speaker 1: We'll talk about it right after this. Yeah, you're listening
- 39:26Speaker 1: to show. Okay, So Steve, you were in Vegas over
- 39:30Speaker 1: the weekend for the Fury Wilder fight. You were there
- 39:34Speaker 1: Saturday night in Vegas. Uh, thirty one year old Tyson
- 39:38Speaker 1: Fury and beat down Deonte Wilder and a big heavyweight
- 39:43Speaker 1: matchup rematch wild Oh, let me see, let me look
- 39:49Speaker 1: at I don't know. I'll go ahead, I'll look it up. Yeah,
- 39:53Speaker 1: I don't know. He is thirty fourty one. Really well,
- 40:07Speaker 1: he didn't look like that, say, he looked like yeah,
- 40:13Speaker 1: give us your take on the fight. You were actually there. Yeah, man,
- 40:17Speaker 1: I just it just uh. I was disappointed in it,
- 40:23Speaker 1: um because that was things that could have been done.
- 40:30Speaker 1: There were things that could have been said, and I
- 40:33Speaker 1: think he could have been a lot better prepared. And yeah,
- 40:38Speaker 1: I know he was saying that there was some issues
- 40:40Speaker 1: going on before the fight. He didn't want to make
- 40:42Speaker 1: no excuses, and the leg was a problem, but he
- 40:46Speaker 1: could have been better prepared, especially when they saw the
- 40:50Speaker 1: forward motion of Tyson. Tyson Fury had forward motion in
- 40:56Speaker 1: the first round or two. When they saw that, then
- 40:59Speaker 1: you got it. You got you gotta help your fighter
- 41:01Speaker 1: make adjustments, but you gotta have fight being in the
- 41:04Speaker 1: corner to do that. And they ain't got nobody in
- 41:06Speaker 1: that self, Briallan. But I don't think Brillan is in
- 41:09Speaker 1: charge of it. I think it's the white guy. I'm
- 41:13Speaker 1: just calling the white guy because I don't know his name.
- 41:15Speaker 1: He do all the talking and all that, you know,
- 41:17Speaker 1: in all the interviews and talks about strategy and all that,
- 41:21Speaker 1: and I just think that they went in with the
- 41:22Speaker 1: strategy to do just the same thing we did last fight,
- 41:26Speaker 1: and that's gonna be good enough. Well, it wasn't and
- 41:29Speaker 1: when Tyson came out different than he did last time,
- 41:32Speaker 1: there was no response to it. That's when you know
- 41:36Speaker 1: you got to change your corner. Now. I don't care
- 41:39Speaker 1: who don't like that right there, But if you go
- 41:41Speaker 1: to your corner and I didn't see the fight on TV.
- 41:44Speaker 1: So y'all could hear them d that conversation. When you
- 41:49Speaker 1: hear him that in the car, when you don't hear
- 41:51Speaker 1: nothing in the corners. The first three rounds, we heard nothing.
- 41:58Speaker 1: We heard nothing nothing. That's why I keep saying, all
- 42:00Speaker 1: said to do with this water, You ain't saying nothing
- 42:02Speaker 1: he did, yeh ain't Tommy the water and the Vassili
- 42:06Speaker 1: that's it, blood running down my damn. Hen your fighters,
- 42:14Speaker 1: your fighters in the corner. He goes to the corner before.
- 42:19Speaker 1: That's what it is. They've never had to happen. Nobody's
- 42:22Speaker 1: ever had to talk to him. He's been knocking people
- 42:24Speaker 1: a out. They ain't never had a conversation in the
- 42:27Speaker 1: corner before. Like I said, forty one of them, you're
- 42:30Speaker 1: exactly right. But like I said, when it's time, somebody
- 42:34Speaker 1: got to know what to say. But there was no
- 42:37Speaker 1: plan except we're gonna do what we do we're gonna
- 42:41Speaker 1: go ahead and knock people out. Well, now you just
- 42:44Speaker 1: in your corner, tyson, I'm dying. Sometimes there is no
- 42:53Speaker 1: plan for a straight up asship. There's nothing you can do.
- 42:57Speaker 1: You go to house, something, you go. Sometimes you just
- 43:01Speaker 1: take the ass whooping, going home and hel for another day.
- 43:06Speaker 1: Because that's what's the conversation in the corners, the conversation
- 43:10Speaker 1: in the corner to your corner. You're saying, you to yourself,
- 43:13Speaker 1: you're saying, I am getting my asswhoop, and from someone
- 43:19Speaker 1: who's had the ass whoop. You know when you're getting
- 43:23Speaker 1: your ass whoop, you know that there's nothing no about
- 43:27Speaker 1: because if somebody says somebody that, you know what, all
- 43:29Speaker 1: that's well and good. What's happening When I go back
- 43:31Speaker 1: in there, it's straight ass whooping, So not nothing to do.
- 43:36Speaker 1: That's nothing corner people? Is that my day over there?
- 43:42Speaker 1: I turned it. I turned it on the fourth quarter.
- 43:45Speaker 1: I thought he was gonna come through my TV fourth round,
- 43:47Speaker 1: fourth quarter if he beat him like the Hawk, like
- 43:51Speaker 1: the hawk Man Thorg's brother in the Avenger. I was
- 43:58Speaker 1: walking by the TV J that sick around when he
- 44:00Speaker 1: went down in second round. I caught him pushed him
- 44:03Speaker 1: back on. All right to the weather channel. DA all right,
- 44:12Speaker 1: coming up next to nephew in the building with today
- 44:17Speaker 1: right after this chase, Oh man, you're listening show coming
- 44:25Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour. It's my strawberry
- 44:28Speaker 1: letter for today, about four minutes after the hour to
- 44:30Speaker 1: be exact, the subject she loves me, she loves me not?
- 44:35Speaker 1: She loves me, she loves me not. But right now
- 44:38Speaker 1: nephew in the building with today's praying phone call what
- 44:41Speaker 1: you got for his next when it's one baby panta party? Hey?

- 45:11Speaker 1: person that lives in um in nineteen eight? Yeah? Yeah,
- 45:15Speaker 1: nineteen eight Gary? What's up? Um? I'm trying to find
- 45:18Speaker 1: the lady that lives in in nineteen eight? Am I
- 45:22Speaker 1: calling the right place? You're talking about? Bree? Bree? That's yeah,
- 45:26Speaker 1: that's aid Bree. Is Bree available? Uh? Nah? Man? She
- 45:32Speaker 1: she's probably at work. Oh okay, all right, well listen,
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'm I'm I live in Um, I live on the
- 45:39Speaker 1: eighteenth floor. I men, some of the guys on the
- 45:41Speaker 1: eighteenth floor are throwing throwing a party on the rooftop
- 45:45Speaker 1: and we were gonna we were inviting a few people.
- 45:48Speaker 1: So I was trying to step yeah. Yeah, yeah, so
- 45:51Speaker 1: we was gonna invite Bree. I've never seen you before.
- 45:53Speaker 1: I didn't know you. So you live in the building too,
- 45:56Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, man, I live in nineteen eight with it.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Yeah that's my girl. What's up? Wait? Wait? The party?
- 46:01Speaker 1: Uh okay, the parties Friday night? All right, a parties
- 46:04Speaker 1: Friday night. So yeah, well, like I said, we was
- 46:06Speaker 1: we were reaching out and um, you know, we wanted
- 46:08Speaker 1: to invite I'd never like, you know, I've seen Bree
- 46:10Speaker 1: coming in out of the building and um and uh
- 46:13Speaker 1: you know, the doorman told me that you think she
- 46:15Speaker 1: lives on the nineteen floor somewhere. So so yeah, I
- 46:18Speaker 1: was trying to um, um coming here one year on
- 46:22Speaker 1: the eighteenth floor. Yeah, I'm on eighteen four. Yeah, I'm
- 46:28Speaker 1: at eighteen yl. So the parties, um, you know, is
- 46:30Speaker 1: on Friday night, like about ten o'clock, ten to ten
- 46:33Speaker 1: to one. We're inviting a few people out. So but
- 46:36Speaker 1: but um, like I said, you know, I didn't I
- 46:38Speaker 1: didn't know you lived um with Bree. But this is
- 46:41Speaker 1: a this is a cool thing, man. But so we're
- 46:43Speaker 1: having a um, we're having a panty party on Friday night.
- 46:46Speaker 1: What panty party? Yeah? Yeah, on on on the rooftop.
- 46:50Speaker 1: We're having a panty party. You know. We got food
- 46:52Speaker 1: and drinks and all that kind of stuff. So I
- 46:54Speaker 1: was wanting to see if she wanted to come out.
- 46:57Speaker 1: So so that that's what you do, Margaret, that's what
- 46:59Speaker 1: you're doing. Eighteen four, y'all just hit up folks and
- 47:01Speaker 1: try to get dudes. Girls come to a penny party.
- 47:05Speaker 1: A penny party. We have a party once once every
- 47:08Speaker 1: you know, once every once a quarter. We throw a party.
- 47:11Speaker 1: So you know, keep up this bullshit. Brother to me,
- 47:14Speaker 1: the last party you're throwing doesn't matter what you calling
- 47:17Speaker 1: me after language, the language, bro hold on, hold on.
- 47:22Speaker 1: First of all, I didn't know Breathe live with someone
- 47:25Speaker 1: in nineteen Hey, I've never seen anybody other than Breathe. Okay, yeah,
- 47:30Speaker 1: because I worked my ass off. Dog, who are you Marcus?
- 47:34Speaker 1: So so okay, I'm Marcus. But let's just calm down.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Like I said, I'm trying to do, is invite Breed
- 47:40Speaker 1: to um, you know, to a party. Now, Bree ain't
- 47:43Speaker 1: coming to a penny party. What's the matter with you? Okay,
- 47:48Speaker 1: So let's let let me ask you this, sir. I
- 47:50Speaker 1: called for Breath. I don't know, yeah, and you got
- 47:53Speaker 1: Gary if I don't know, if I don't know nothing
- 47:56Speaker 1: about no Jerry, Okay, so breathe. What I have to
- 48:00Speaker 1: let me know that that she doesn't want to come
- 48:02Speaker 1: to the party. But since I thought I had to
- 48:06Speaker 1: write number for Brie, well I'll do is find out
- 48:08Speaker 1: how to get in touch with Breath directly, because once
- 48:11Speaker 1: again I didn't know I was getting in contact with it. Gary.
- 48:13Speaker 1: I thought I was get in touch with Brie. Yeah. Yeah,
- 48:15Speaker 1: you never to be worth much to Breed man when
- 48:17Speaker 1: I cut that off for you to call me, that's
- 48:20Speaker 1: my girl, that's my girl. Okay, So it's your girl,
- 48:23Speaker 1: all right. But like I said, I didn't know she
- 48:25Speaker 1: had a boyfriend or anything. But that doesn't stop me
- 48:27Speaker 1: from asking Breath if she wants to come to the party. Yeah, well,
- 48:30Speaker 1: she ain't single, she's not single. The only the only
- 48:33Speaker 1: thing single in nineteen eh is that single? That's the
- 48:36Speaker 1: only thing that single up in nineteen eight. Okay, so
- 48:39Speaker 1: let me answer this man. How long have you breathe
- 48:41Speaker 1: been together? And I don't worry about what they in
- 48:43Speaker 1: with my girl? Who are you? Hey? I think I
- 48:47Speaker 1: think Bree can make her own decision or she want
- 48:49Speaker 1: to come to the party, I'll just call her directly.
- 48:52Speaker 1: I just got the wrong number mixed up, That's all
- 48:54Speaker 1: it is. No, you got the right number, Marcus, you
- 48:57Speaker 1: got the You got the right number and the wrong mother. Hey, dude,
- 49:01Speaker 1: So like you're trying to say, Bree can't make up
- 49:03Speaker 1: my mind on her. She want to come to the
- 49:05Speaker 1: party or not, Breeze, you can make up. She can
- 49:07Speaker 1: make up her mind if she wants to. I think
- 49:09Speaker 1: she has made it up, Marcus, I think she has. Well,
- 49:12Speaker 1: how do you know that? I haven't even asked her
- 49:13Speaker 1: to come to the panty party. Listen, I'm at work
- 49:17Speaker 1: right now. Don't come in with this boat. I've been
- 49:19Speaker 1: in that building for years. I've never heard no panty
- 49:22Speaker 1: party before. Are you gonna ask her to come to
- 49:24Speaker 1: the panty party? Or do I need to ask you Marcus,
- 49:27Speaker 1: my girl coming to no damn panty party? All right,
- 49:30Speaker 1: all right, I see what I gotta do now. I
- 49:32Speaker 1: gotta go to the doorman and get Breeze number. And
- 49:35Speaker 1: I asked her to come. You're not gonna pass on
- 49:37Speaker 1: the message, but I want her to ask. Let me
- 49:39Speaker 1: tell you something. You better not come to the doorman.
- 49:42Speaker 1: You better not come to nineteen eight. That's my girl.
- 49:44Speaker 1: Stay the fuck away from her. So let me ask
- 49:47Speaker 1: you this are you as saying the Breeze panties? Do
- 49:49Speaker 1: you not want her? You do not want us to
- 49:51Speaker 1: see her in the in the in our panties. I
- 49:54Speaker 1: mean what, mother, don't worry about me or my girl
- 49:58Speaker 1: or her pennies. You got me? Okay? All right, man,
- 50:01Speaker 1: I'm not work lucky. You called me at work. I
- 50:04Speaker 1: know you wet work. And because somebody told me you
- 50:06Speaker 1: were at work. You know who told me you wet word?
- 50:09Speaker 1: Gary could have told you that I was at work. Mother,
- 50:12Speaker 1: bree told me you were at work. This is nephew
- 50:14Speaker 1: tim Me from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You just

- 53:07Speaker 1: on the air, just like we're gonna read this one
- 53:10Speaker 1: right here, right now, bupa hole on time. We got
- 53:15Speaker 1: it for you here. It is strawberry letter, she loves Me,
- 53:20Speaker 1: She loves me, not is the subject. Dear Stephen Shirley,
- 53:24Speaker 1: I have a real big problem. I'm a thirty two
- 53:27Speaker 1: year old single father of two kids, and I fell
- 53:31Speaker 1: in love with my doctor, who six years older than me.
- 53:35Speaker 1: We had a loving and caring friendship that grew into
- 53:39Speaker 1: a romance. It lasted more than a year and a half.
- 53:42Speaker 1: When I found out she was married, it crushed me,
- 53:46Speaker 1: but she told me she was leaving her husband. M
- 53:50Speaker 1: It didn't happen. Eventually, I decided to try to move
- 53:54Speaker 1: on from her. Every time I stopped talking to her
- 53:59Speaker 1: to try to move past our relationship, she sent me
- 54:02Speaker 1: a text saying she loved me and still wanted a
- 54:06Speaker 1: future together. In January, I was celebrating New Year's with
- 54:10Speaker 1: someone else, and she sent me a note saying she
- 54:13Speaker 1: was going to fight for me and never give up.
- 54:16Speaker 1: I explained to her that she needed to get a
- 54:19Speaker 1: divorce first, then maybe we could establish something again. But
- 54:24Speaker 1: I couldn't stop thinking about her and the promise that
- 54:27Speaker 1: she would leave her husband. Eventually, we got into a
- 54:31Speaker 1: major fight because I found out she was planning a
- 54:34Speaker 1: family vacation with her husband. Hurtful words were spoken. She
- 54:39Speaker 1: said that I was really being pushy, a bully, and
- 54:42Speaker 1: verbally abusive, and she feels that she did nothing wrong
- 54:46Speaker 1: to me. I tried to explain to her, not being
- 54:49Speaker 1: honest to her husband and using me for an emotional
- 54:53Speaker 1: and physical affair is just wrong. I still care for her,
- 54:57Speaker 1: but now I just want to move forward with my
- 55:00Speaker 1: life and forget about her. It's hard because we used
- 55:04Speaker 1: to text and talk every day. I know it's best
- 55:09Speaker 1: not to contact her. How do I move forward without
- 55:12Speaker 1: feeling hurt or used? Please advise? Well, I mean, you
- 55:15Speaker 1: know I can tell you this. The time will heal
- 55:18Speaker 1: all wounds, because it's going to take a while, because
- 55:21Speaker 1: you had some deep feelings for this woman not to
- 55:23Speaker 1: feel hurt or not to feel used. And I'm going
- 55:26Speaker 1: to tell you the same thing that I would tell
- 55:28Speaker 1: a woman if the situation were reversed. You gotta let
- 55:32Speaker 1: the situation go. You already try to do it once
- 55:35Speaker 1: and then she pulled you back in. She's like stringing
- 55:37Speaker 1: you along and all that this woman is married with
- 55:41Speaker 1: no intentions of leaving her husband. No, she's planning family vacations.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Don't you get it? That means she's a wife when
- 55:49Speaker 1: she's not with you. Okay, that's what that means. And
- 55:52Speaker 1: you got to understand that, and you got to deal
- 55:55Speaker 1: with that. And yes, you have to move on with
- 55:58Speaker 1: your life. She should change doctors too, Please do that,
- 56:02Speaker 1: Please change doctors. Yeah, your friendship grew into a romance
- 56:06Speaker 1: and now she's stringing you along. Don't let her continue
- 56:09Speaker 1: to do that. You gotta be strong. You gotta get
- 56:12Speaker 1: out of this. You gotta move on. There are plenty
- 56:15Speaker 1: of single women out here, okay, and you have two
- 56:19Speaker 1: kids to be an example for it as well. So
- 56:21Speaker 1: move on. Let her go, all right to me? That's simple, Steve, Yeah,
- 56:31Speaker 1: it's you know, I agree with what you're saying. But
- 56:33Speaker 1: and you know, dog, I gotta talk to you man
- 56:35Speaker 1: and man, now you know, partner, You know I could
- 56:39Speaker 1: in this letter I have Shirley. He's giving you the
- 56:43Speaker 1: same advice she would give to a woman seeing a
- 56:45Speaker 1: married man. Well, I'm a man, so now I gotta
- 56:48Speaker 1: give you some but from male perspective, let's look at
- 56:51Speaker 1: this a real way. You're thirty two, single father, two kids,
- 56:56Speaker 1: fell in love with your doctor. Now, you don't just
- 56:59Speaker 1: fall in love with me. Something led up to this,
- 57:04Speaker 1: and I can promise you you pursued her. See this
- 57:08Speaker 1: is what you did, dog, because you know, I mean,
- 57:12Speaker 1: that's how you fall in love. And I don't know
- 57:14Speaker 1: what all the particulars of who called who, but you
- 57:16Speaker 1: you wanted or you hit out him. Then you say
- 57:19Speaker 1: you had a loving and caring friendship that grew into
- 57:22Speaker 1: a romance. That's cause you was running out a dog.
- 57:28Speaker 1: It lasted more than a year and a half. Now
- 57:30Speaker 1: a year and a half. Hold up, dog, You've been
- 57:32Speaker 1: with this woman a year and a half, and you,
- 57:36Speaker 1: as a man, ain't pick up on the fact that
- 57:38Speaker 1: she got somebody. I'm confused, man, when I found out
- 57:43Speaker 1: she was married? What the hell you mean? When you
- 57:45Speaker 1: found out a year and a half dog of seeing
- 57:49Speaker 1: a woman and you just not finding out she married?
- 57:55Speaker 1: It crushed me. But she told me she was leaving
- 57:58Speaker 1: her husband. Oh, ain't we heard this before? Ain't ain't
- 58:02Speaker 1: this role reversal at it? Best? She said she leaving
- 58:06Speaker 1: her husband. It didn't happen. Eventually, I tried to move
- 58:09Speaker 1: on from her. Every time I stopped talking to her
- 58:12Speaker 1: and try to move on past our relationship, she sent
- 58:15Speaker 1: me a text saying she loved me and still wanted
- 58:18Speaker 1: the future together. Do you know what's happening here? Let's
- 58:22Speaker 1: let's quit playing this game. It ain't no. She texts
- 58:26Speaker 1: and say she loved you. Dog. You know what's happening.
- 58:30Speaker 1: You will what you will? You whipped whipped, You whipped dog,
- 58:40Speaker 1: That's what this is. She's six years old and you
- 58:43Speaker 1: she did some things to you you hadn't had happened
- 58:46Speaker 1: to you. Yeah, at six extra years and a doctor,
- 58:52Speaker 1: she probably know all types of pressure points. She got
- 58:56Speaker 1: you in at the climbing up a wall, she did,
- 58:59Speaker 1: reaching them on the wall, pulling you back down on
- 59:01Speaker 1: the bed. She's doing things you've been bit in areas
- 59:05Speaker 1: you don't even know you had. You know, you and
- 59:08Speaker 1: you you and that hollow, that breathless hollow. Yeah, you
- 59:12Speaker 1: get that happened to you, breathless hollow. You know. And
- 59:16Speaker 1: she texted me saying she loved me and Steve want
- 59:19Speaker 1: In January, I was celebrating New Year's with somebody else
- 59:23Speaker 1: jazz like on me. Well, I finish up right after
- 59:26Speaker 1: this all right. Coming up in twenty three minutes after
- 59:30Speaker 1: the hour, we will have part two of Steve's response.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Title subject of today's strawberry letter is she loves me?
- 59:37Speaker 1: She loves me not. We'll be back with Steve's part
- 59:40Speaker 1: two response right after this. You're listening, all right, Steve,
- 59:47Speaker 1: Come on, let's get into part two and recap today's
- 59:50Speaker 1: strawberry letters. She loves me, she loves me not? Thirty
- 59:54Speaker 1: two year old single father two fell in love with
- 59:57Speaker 1: his doctor who is six years old. The dog dog
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: your doctor or these the kids doctor. See, your doctor
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: is a woman. So what just got to be your
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: kids doctor? Because you got a female doctor? What? What's
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: she checking her? I mean they exist. I've I've had
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: a female Yeah, urologists a little bit too. It wasn't
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: a good relationship, but you know romance, y'all, love agis.
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: It lasted more than a year and a half. When
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: I found out, she was mad. What she told you
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: it because men don't do research, because we don't need to,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: we don't care. She told you in a conversation, and
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: she said she leaving her husband. It didn't happen. When
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: you want to lead, like when she told you on Friday.
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: You want her to pack up on Monday, and she
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: told me she leaving her husband didn't happen. Eventually, I
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: tried to move on from her. Every time I stopped
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: talking to her, to try to move past our relationship,
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: she sent me a tech saying she loved me and
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: still wanting the future. Guys, she probably do in January.
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: I'll celebrate New Year's Eve with somebody el Nah, you
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: act like a man now, Nah? You New Year's Eve
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: with somebody else. She sent you a note saying she
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: was going to fight for me and never give up. Okay,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: with just a damn note, you're tripping for man. I
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: explained to her that she needed to get a divorce
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: first and then maybe we could establish something again. But
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I couldn't stop thinking about it, and the promise that
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: she would leave her husband again. The key word here
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: is quill is quill? See a note, attack and a
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: note and you back again. I couldn't stop thinking about her,
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: the promise she would leave her husband. Eventually we got
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: into a major fight because I found out she was
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: playing in a family vacation with her husband dog. What
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: is you fighting with her about this fault? She married?
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: She told you she was married. She planned a family
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: vacation with her family. That's what married people do. What
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: is you act like a little girl? Fault? She told you?
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: What is you acting like a little girl? Fault? She
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: told you she was married. She ain't left her husband.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: You will now? She planned in the family vacation, y'all
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: arguing about it? For what? She got a family with
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: her husband hurt for words were spoken. She said that
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: I was being pushy, a bully and verbally abusive. You
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: probably will and she feels that she did nothing wrong
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: to me. She did, But dog, ain't we all heard
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: a woman say this to a man before and now
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: to here the other way around? It really sounds strange
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: because all of us is what you're tripping for? Dog,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: plenty of women. But dog, you got a free lick?
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: What is you tripping for? She told you she married
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: and she's still willing to see you. What's wrong with you?
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Tell him? Do you know I like to see my
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: doctor and she your doctor? Dog? I don't know if
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: you got a doctor eurologist? Now, how you can't come that?
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: That's funny? And what y'all nothing to do? Ladies? Or
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: the morning show is killed? This damn show. This joke
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: stayed when she told you I was married? What she
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: said I married? I got some bad news. Now. I
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: tried to explain to her that not being honest to
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: her Huh, this is the line to kill me. I
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: tried to explain to her, and not being honest to
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: her husband and using me for an emotional and physical family.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: It's just wrong, Doc, What did you say? You think
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: that she's supposed to go in there to her husband
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: and tell her husband about you. That's just like telling
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: a man he's supposed to go in there and tell
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: his wife about the other woman. Ain'tybody fit to do that? Man?
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: Grow up? See you got into a grown grown man game.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: Now you want to do some high school rules. This
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: woman can't go in here and tell her hubs. She
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: having a fair with you and using you. Bill Withers
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: had a song about my friends feeling is they're appointed duty.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: They keep trying to tell me that I ought to
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: not let you just walk on me, But they don't
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: know that you could keep phone using me because the
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: show feels good the way you using me, until you
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: use me up. I still care for her, but now
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: I just would move forward. Please ask the question again, Steve,
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: I'd like to hear it. Please. She told you she
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: was all right. Thank you, sir. What's your comments on
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM, on Instagram and Facebook,
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: and check out the Strawberry Letter podcast on demand now
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: coming up at forty six minutes after the hour. As
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: we switch gears here, the city of Los Angeles is
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: preparing for Kobe Bryant's memorial today. We'll tell you about
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening at ten o'clock am today,
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: Thousands of mourners are expected to assemble at the State
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: Center in Los Angeles to honor the life of Kobe
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: Bryant and his thirteen year old daughter, Gianna. They both
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: died along with seven other people in a helicopter crash
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: in late January. Wife Kobe's wife, Vanessa Bryant, the Lakers
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: superstar wife, describe the memorial service as a celebration of life.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: The proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: the Mamba and the Mamba Sita Sports Foundation. That's an
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: organization that will further Kobe and Gianna's legacy through charitable
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: endeavors in sports. And today's memorial service will streamlive on
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: NBC news dot Com and the NBC News Mobile app. Wow.
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: You know, some people were saying that people were upset
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: about the ticket price for the moral, but I think
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: if you understand, that is designed to give money to
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: the foundation. To the foundation, Yeah, and if somebody else said,
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: y'all paid to seeing play, So it's a charge for
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: a great cause. And that's if you don't want to go,
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: don't complaining in the right. But you know, but let's not.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Let's not complain because because you ain't because you don't
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: want to pay the money to go do what you
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: can't afford it. It's just all. But if you can't
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: afford it, it's a beautiful thing to do to donate,
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: stream it live, man, that's all, you know. But see
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: guess what though, but see that I want to be there.
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: It's so I could say I was at the event,
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: but I don't want to pay to come on now.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: So now is this for the memory of Kobe or
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: for your memories? Right? Yeah, that's right. Always have to
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: be conscious, man, when people complain about something, you have
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: to understand what the complaint is coming from. I just
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: think that you know, it's a great cause to fill
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: up that, you know, and do something for him. You
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: don't remember him and his daughter's legacy. I like it.
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: I like it. Yeah, you don't want to go? I
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: like it? Man, go to work, man, Yeah, yeah, Yeah.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: And his money is going to this foundation though. Yeah.
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: And the city is urgent fans if you're not going
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: and you don't have a ticket to help with the
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: congestion and traffic not to yeah, to stay away from
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: the statelessenter rerouting traffic, all of that. Yeah. And like
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Vanessa Bryant, Kobe's wife said, uh, it is a celebration
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: of Kobe and Gianna's life. Yeah, And we'll leave it
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: at that. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: today's office topic, what have you given up for love?
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: What have you given up for? Lot? Think about lots
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: of houses, lots of day. We'll talk about it, Jay,
- 1:08:52Speaker 1: we'll talk about it after this. You're listening to all right,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: So here's the question, the office topic of the day.
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: What have you given up for love? What the officers
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: doing there? Pretend who asked as these questions? And no jobs? Yeah?
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: Why are you guys so touchy? Is this hard question? Y'all?
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: Gonna answer for that hall for me. We're asking you, guys,
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: what you giving up for love? I ain't. I ain't
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: gave up nothing I lost. It's a difference. I didn't
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: give up nothing. I lost what was tooking away from
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: you for love? Yeah? Yeah, most everything I've ever done
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: for a little. What I lost? I lost my so
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: what did y'all wanted to go? I lost my ability
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: for my damns. I lost my ability to eat what
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: I want to eat, where I want to eat. I
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: lost my ability to all who the hell I want
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: to come? Man? I lost lost your freedom. I gave
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: a lost freedom, my ability to have multiple people's phone number.
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: I lost my ability to lay my phone around. I
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: lost But you're not bitter about it, because you certainly
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: don't sound like that. Well, now it's a different love
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: I have. But in the past those loves were lost.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: I lost, Well, I mean, you know, we were kind
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: of one came about because Harry gave up the crown
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: for Megan. Give it Dad? What Harry Grave? What we're
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: talking about Harry, Them just about Harry comes from what
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: have you given up for love? That's all the fact
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: of being right. I ain't been righting thirteen years being
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: right right. Oh no, we had to get that up immediately.
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: So you gave you gave up that? Okay, Tommy, Tommy,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: what have you given up? I'm not well. I stop
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: doing what I would do? What it was? What is wrong?
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: What what you ain't stopping? Yes, you're supposed to stop
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: what you're doing for love? Tommy, Yes you are gave
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: them reasoning, I reason, I just I reason. But I'm
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: just saying what I'm supposed to give up. I think
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: what I gave up. I want to hear what you
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: gave about what me? Yes, damn man, gave it up,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: pulling up knowing that in that damn door. Peace of
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: mind is gone. The minute I come in my house,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: it starts. Piece of damn man. All right, black girl
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: is here. Hello, now's the dark girl? Good black girl?
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: Blame blah blah bla house speaking because I have tell
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: of a story you're doing. Hell about Prince Harry Yes
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: and what he gave up for love the crown. He
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: gave up the crown. What a stupid move it was.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: How dumb can you bell? You move out of the
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: palace for love? Yeah? One does that? What about you? Dude?
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: What did you give up for love? I'm still Hell.
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: I kept quiet for love, black illegitimate child of Charles,
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: and I've never come forward to tell anyone because I
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: love living hell. No one ever knows it. I of
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: the savage. I love the gods out the frock, I
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: love the grass, the English tea, I love it. Oh.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: I love the fact that I have people wiping my behind.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: Oh you doom. Fact that I eat whatever I want
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: to eat and someone washes the dishes. I have a
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: person that puts on my pajamas for me. Oh what,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: Let's be nice, all right? Coming up more of today's
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: trending stories on the Steve Harvey Morning Show at twenty
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: minutes after the hour. Right after this, you're listening to
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: show some sad news over the weekend. Um lifestyle guru,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: the very beautiful, the very pleasant, she was just on
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: her game. B Smith passed away over the weekend. Yeah,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: very sad news. She was seventy seventy years old, as
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: she had a long, long battle with Alzheimer's. This is
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: according to her husband, Dan Gasby. Her name was Barbara
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Elaine Smith. We called her B Smith. Of course. She
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: was a groundbreaking model restaurant owner and as I mentioned,
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: lifestyle guru. She was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's disease
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: thirteen and you might recall her husband faced quite a
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: bit of criticism a few years ago when he went
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: public with the fact that he had a girlfriend who
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: was living with him and helping him care for his
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: ailing wife, B Smith. You guys remember that, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: so r I P. B. Smith. Wow. I don't know
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: how you're gonna deal with tragedy to tragedy hits you.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: You just don't know what you're gonna do. You're gonna Lane,
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: I did so, won't you say? Jay, You don't know
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: how you're gonna deal with tragedy until tragedy hits you.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: You can say what you want about other people, but
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: when you hit you, you deal with it the best
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: way you know how to. Yeah. Yeah, Wow, you were
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: saying Carla, you guys went to her restaurant. Yeah, she
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: used to have a restaurant. Yeah, Steve took us. All right, guys,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: We'll be back with more of a Steve Harvey Morning
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: Show and some trending news at thirty three minutes after
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this, you're listening to show. Okay,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: So Steve, you were in Vegas over the weekend for
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: the Fury Wilder fight. You were there Saturday night in Vegas. Uh,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: thirty one year old Tyson Fury beat down Deonte Wilder
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: and a big heavyweight matchup rematch. Oh, let me see.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: I don't know. Go ahead, I'll look it up. Yeah,
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: I don't know. He is thirty four thirty one. Really well,
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: he didn't look like that on saying. He looked like, yeah,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: give us your take on the fight. You were actually there. Yeah, man,
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: I just it just uh, I was disappointed in it
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: because that was things that could have been done. There
- 1:16:33Speaker 1: were things that could have been said, and I think
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: he could have been a lot better prepared. And yeah,
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: I know he was saying that there were some issues
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: going on before the fight. He didn't want to make
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: no excuses and the leg was a problem. But he
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: could have been better prepared, especially when they saw the
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: forward motion of Tyson. Tyson Fury had forward motion in
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: the first round or two. When they saw that, then
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: you gotta you gotta, you gotta help your fighter make adjustments.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: But you gotta have fight men in the corner to
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: do that. And they ain't got nobody in that self, Brillan,
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: But I don't think Brilan is in charge of it.
- 1:17:14Speaker 1: I think it's the white guy. I'm just calling the
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: white guy because I don't know his name. He do
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: all the talking and all that, you know, in all
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: the interviews and talks about strategy and all that, and
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: I just think that they went in with the strategy
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: to do just the same thing we did last fight,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: and that's gonna be good enough. Well it wasn't. And
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: when Tyson came out different than he did last time,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: there was no response to it. That's when you know
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: you got to change your corner. Now. I don't care
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: who don't like that right there, but if you go
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: to your corner. And I didn't see the fight on TV,
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: So y'all could hear them that conversation. When you hear
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: that in the car, when you don't hear nothing in
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: the corner. First, the first three rounds we heard, we
- 1:18:00Speaker 1: heard nothing nothing. That's why I keep saying, all dude,
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: the walk, you ain't saying nothing he did, ye ain't, Tommy?
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: The water and the Vassili that's it. Yeah, that damn
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: blood running down my damn your fighters, your fighters in
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: the corner. He goes to the corner before. That's what
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: it is. They've never had to happen. Nobody's ever had
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: to talk with the morning keeping knocking people a out.
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: They ain't never had a conversation in the corner before
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: coming up, our last break of the day on this
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: Monday break of the day, So if you're looking for
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: it will be no more breaks. This is the last one, okay.
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: And we'll have some closing remarks from our very unn
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: double ACP Image Award winning Steve Harvey. It's closing remarks
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: coming up at forty nine minutes after right after this.
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show. All right, Steve, here
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: we are guys with the last break of the day
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: on this Monday. Yes, it is no more break say
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: it right, Jay? No, No, I mean I said it once,
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: but people away, it's gonna be another break. No, there
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: will be no more damn breaks, okay, just the last
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: damn number one. It's been a good Monday though, it
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: really has. Yeah, it's great. It has great to be Yes,
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: welcome back, welcome back. You know you know what, surely
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: you know what I thought about though, what I thought
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: I looked at the whole show. I missed you, guys,
- 1:19:34Speaker 1: but I thought about something. But do you know Uncle
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: Steve is the Moses and sick people. What do you
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: mean he leading a bunch of sick people. Y'all? Look
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: everybody but the only show got a problem. It ain't
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: just me and Jay. Everybody got a problem with y'all.
- 1:19:51Speaker 1: He leave, he leave people, he need people with short
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: He leaves bipolar people, Carlo Jay diabetic, I got sick.
- 1:19:59Speaker 1: He leave a sick people. And what do you do?
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: Big eyes is not a guys, is a yeah, it's
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: the beginning of something. I do not have eyes out
- 1:20:17Speaker 1: that far due to some type of pressure. Really, have
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: you always had him open that wine? My eyes have
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: been big since I came from the womb. Okay am
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: I right? Am? I right? Shut up? Junior, all those
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: people to show sick you. You only heal the person
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: we got. Oh no that's not true, true mind his
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: mind has gone, Junior Solf. The better to see you,
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: my dar. The other day, I was talking about finding
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: the motivation to never give up, because it's such an
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: important thing, man, Just the fact that you don't quit,
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: that you don't give up on your visions, your dreams,
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: your goals, your aspirations, and you have to find the
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: motivation to do it. But you also have to remember
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: that doing good is the right thing to do. And
- 1:21:21Speaker 1: a lot of times, I know, man, you get tired
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: of doing good because it seems like it's no payoff.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: There's a scripture I was reading the other day, Galatians
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: six nine, and it was saying for us to not
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: become weary in doing good, for at the proper time,
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: we will reap a harvest if we don't give up.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: And that's such an important thing, man, because sometimes it's
- 1:21:54Speaker 1: hard to keep doing the right thing, especially when you're
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: being done wrong. It's hard to keep doing the right
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: thing and you don't see the payoff right after you
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: do the right thing. It's hard to do the right
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: thing when everybody else seems to be getting away with
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: something wrong. So it makes it hard to continue to
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: do the right thing. But you have to have the
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: faith that you're doing the right thing, and you can't
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: become weary in doing good, because, like the Bible says,
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: at the proper time, you're going to reap a harvest
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: if you don't give up. Do you understand how true.
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: That statement is that's a promise of God that if
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: you don't get tired and stop doing what's good, that
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: eventually you're going to reap a harvest by just not
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: giving up. That is a benefit to doing what's good.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: That is a reward for doing things that's good. You
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: don't you have no idea how many seeds you're planning
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: when you do something good you have to. You don't
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: even know where they're gonna crop up, pop up where
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: you're gonna harvest them later. It may not be even
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: in the same field you plan it. I was of
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: somewhere one day and I was going down the street
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: and a girl had a flat tire, young girl, and
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: I just thought of one of my daughters. Man, so
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: I stopped. I just happened to be driving that day.
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: It was years ago in LA and I stopped and
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: I helped this little girl and she was on side
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: the road just crying. She had a flat tie. She
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: didn't know what to do, and so I still there,
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: made a phone call, got told truck to come. She
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: didn't have the money. I kind of somehow got into
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: the tie station. I bought the new ties for boom,
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: fixed her up. She went home. She called her father.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: He said, Steve Harvey bought me ties from my car.
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: I ain't think none of the brother thanked me. Years later,
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: I was on the golf course, years later, I'm talking
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: about like five six years ago, and this happened like early,
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: like in two thousand, so probably around twenty fifteen, sixteen
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: something like that. I'm playing golf and this guy comes
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: up to me and he tells me the story about
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: this girl and it was his daughter, and he just
- 1:24:33Speaker 1: told me about it, and he hugged me. He said, man,
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: I wanted to thank y'all talked to you on the phone.
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: But man, we finally meet and myles hoping I'll see
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: you at this tournament. And so he hugged me, and
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: you know, didn't think none of it. Next thing, you know,
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: come to find out he worked for a high level company.
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: The company calls me and the company wants me to
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: do a deal with him. I signed and did the
- 1:25:04Speaker 1: deal with the company. It was all because one day
- 1:25:10Speaker 1: I stopped and I helped a girl that I just
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: saw in distress because I just thought, man, this could
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: be one of my daughters. On the side of his
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: roll and she told her father and her father did
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: a deal with me that turned out to be a very,
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: very beneficial deal. You can't ever get tired of doing
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: what's right, because in due time you will reap a

- 1:25:35Speaker 1: Keep doing the right thing, y'all. You will benefit from it.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: Those are my closing remarks that said, that's a wrap, y'all.
