- 0:00Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time of
- 0:05Speaker 1: y'all don't know, y'all a suit looking back then giving
- 0:13Speaker 1: them like a million bucks things and its not true.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Good Steve listening to the mother, I don't joining you
- 0:59Speaker 1: gotta use that turn ing going. You gotta turn to
- 1:41Speaker 1: turn them out. Turn, got to turn them out, then
- 1:46Speaker 1: turn the water the water. Come come on your baby,
- 2:01Speaker 1: uh huh. I shall will a good morning everybody. Y'all
- 2:05Speaker 1: listening to the voice, come on dig me now, one
- 2:07Speaker 1: and only Steve Harvey got a radio show. Yeah, I'll do. Man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: God is good. Hey today, I just want to get
- 2:15Speaker 1: right to it because this has really been pressing me.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I woke up and this was on my mind and
- 2:21Speaker 1: I wanted to share it with you because I know
- 2:24Speaker 1: this for a fact. See I've lived this for a fact.
- 2:31Speaker 1: And you know the majority of things I talk about
- 2:35Speaker 1: in the morning before we get started with the regular show.
- 2:39Speaker 1: It's something that I've experienced. I can only tell you
- 2:42Speaker 1: what I know. And so I've really really understood why
- 2:46Speaker 1: God has had my life go the way that is gone,
- 2:51Speaker 1: because if I didn't have all these tests in my life,
- 2:54Speaker 1: I didn't have all these tests that I passed all
- 2:58Speaker 1: these tests that I failed. If I didn't have all
- 3:03Speaker 1: of those the good and the bad, what could I
- 3:07Speaker 1: share with you in the morning? What could I tell
- 3:11Speaker 1: you about hanging? What could I tell you about failing
- 3:16Speaker 1: and then winning? What could I tell you about hanging
- 3:20Speaker 1: in now when all hope was gone? How could I
- 3:24Speaker 1: share that with you? Unless I've had those moments myself.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I don't care what happens to you. I don't care
- 3:33Speaker 1: what you're going through. Don't you dare dare give up?
- 3:40Speaker 1: Under no circumstances. Don't you dare dare ever give up?
- 3:48Speaker 1: It is the biggest trick that the enemy has is
- 3:53Speaker 1: making us think we ain't gonna make it, to water
- 3:59Speaker 1: down the illusion that there is a possibility that you
- 4:05Speaker 1: might still have a chance to get over. The biggest
- 4:09Speaker 1: trick he uses is when you make a mistake and
- 4:12Speaker 1: you fall. He gets you to start to thinking it's final,
- 4:16Speaker 1: that there is no resurrection, there is no redemption, there
- 4:20Speaker 1: is no recovery. He just makes you think it's final.
- 4:25Speaker 1: He is the master deceiver. Don't you dare dare ever
- 4:30Speaker 1: give up? I don't care what besets you, befalls you,
- 4:34Speaker 1: trips you up what circumstantial situations may arise. Don't you
- 4:40Speaker 1: dare dare ever give up? Because listen to me, these
- 4:45Speaker 1: are tests that you are going through. And these tests,
- 4:50Speaker 1: whether you pass the test or the appears that you've
- 4:53Speaker 1: failed the test, the test accomplishes the mission if you're
- 4:58Speaker 1: smart about it. If you pass the test. Let's say
- 5:04Speaker 1: you're going through a situation and you get over and
- 5:06Speaker 1: it goes the way you want it to do, then
- 5:09Speaker 1: what you've learned is if you hang in there, there's
- 5:14Speaker 1: a light at the end of the tunnel. Okay, mission accomplished.
- 5:19Speaker 1: If you fail the test and it doesn't go the
- 5:23Speaker 1: way you want it and it goes there opposite and
- 5:27Speaker 1: it turns out into a negative result, and in response
- 5:30Speaker 1: you were looking for is a no. That's not final.
- 5:36Speaker 1: That doesn't mean it's over, that doesn't mean it's time
- 5:40Speaker 1: to turn back. It simply means that now you have
- 5:45Speaker 1: learned a valuable experience, you have learned a valuable lesson.
- 5:51Speaker 1: You now know what not to do. You are now
- 5:56Speaker 1: because you know what not to do, another step closer
- 6:01Speaker 1: to getting it right. Listen to me, it has to
- 6:05Speaker 1: happen this way. You have to have the rain in
- 6:10Speaker 1: your life. To get the flowers in your life, you
- 6:13Speaker 1: got to have the darkness in your life to appreciate
- 6:17Speaker 1: the sunshine in your life. You got to have woes
- 6:23Speaker 1: and worries to appreciate the joys. It is merely a test.
- 6:30Speaker 1: So when you get through failing, and you get through stumbling,
- 6:36Speaker 1: and you get through messing it up, all that's getting
- 6:40Speaker 1: you one step closer to getting it right. Oh, my
- 6:43Speaker 1: relationship ended. I'll never be able to find another person
- 6:47Speaker 1: like that. Not only will you not be able will
- 6:50Speaker 1: not only will you be able to find a person
- 6:53Speaker 1: like that, you can find a person that far better
- 6:58Speaker 1: than that if you don't give up. But see, sometimes
- 7:03Speaker 1: you got to go through the bad ones to get
- 7:06Speaker 1: to the good ones. Don't you? Dare? Dare ever give up?
- 7:11Speaker 1: I don't care what happens to you if you lose
- 7:13Speaker 1: a love one. And Lord knows, I've lost some people
- 7:17Speaker 1: I've loved dearly with every inch in me. I've lost
- 7:24Speaker 1: my mother, my father, my brother, and my best friend.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I don't know. I know people who have lost their children. Goodness, man,
- 7:35Speaker 1: I can't even imagine that, but they kept on going.
- 7:40Speaker 1: What you're giving up for? Oh? I got you miss them?
- 7:44Speaker 1: And I got you grieving, but I got news for you.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Don't you let the devil make you think it's over
- 7:50Speaker 1: for you because somebody else ain't still here. It was
- 7:54Speaker 1: their time. Now. I'm not trying to lessen to blow
- 7:57Speaker 1: for you, but I'm trying to get you up on
- 7:58Speaker 1: your feet so you can stop all this old woe
- 8:02Speaker 1: is me because the things is happening to you. You're
- 8:04Speaker 1: not the first person that's happened to Come on, now,
- 8:06Speaker 1: let's get a grip. Let's wrap your mind around this thing.
- 8:10Speaker 1: You have got to move forward, if it's just in
- 8:13Speaker 1: memory of those people. I was on one of the
- 8:16Speaker 1: commercial breaks on Family Feud the other day and somebody
- 8:18Speaker 1: asked me something and I forgot the question, but my
- 8:22Speaker 1: answer was, I always wanted my mother and father to
- 8:25Speaker 1: be proud of me, and in that absence and their demise,
- 8:31Speaker 1: I'm hoping, just somehow man that they watching me, that
- 8:35Speaker 1: they see their boy, that I'm down here, that I'm
- 8:38Speaker 1: doing better, that I'm making something about myself, that I'm
- 8:43Speaker 1: loving my wife, that I'm taking care of my kids.
- 8:46Speaker 1: To at my old man to see that about me.
- 8:49Speaker 1: You know, I want my mother to see I'm trying
- 8:52Speaker 1: to give my life together over here, you know, saying
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'm trying to be a better person. My mom was
- 8:56Speaker 1: a Sunday school teacher for forty years. She'd been praying
- 8:59Speaker 1: for me for a long time. I just hope, man,
- 9:03Speaker 1: and that's all I'm doing. It's just hoping that they
- 9:06Speaker 1: see me so they cain't be proud of me. See you, you, you,
- 9:10Speaker 1: you you. You got to understand that when you make
- 9:14Speaker 1: these mistakes, that when you fall and stumble and you
- 9:18Speaker 1: get it all so wrong, it ain't over for you.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Don't you dare dare dare ever? Give up? Don't stop thinking, man,
- 9:26Speaker 1: because it ain't happening just the way you wanted to
- 9:29Speaker 1: that it ain't meant to be devil. He got so
- 9:31Speaker 1: many tricks to deceive you. You know why you're being
- 9:35Speaker 1: tested right now, because there is no testimony without the test.
- 9:41Speaker 1: You got to go through something. It's all good man
- 9:45Speaker 1: telling you. I just wanted to share that with you.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Don't you give up out there. I don't care what's happening.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Don't don't, don't don't get deceived. The victory's coming, but
- 9:54Speaker 1: you ain't gonna get it if you quit. Hang on, y'all,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you're listening, ladies and gentlemen, Without a doubt, you are
- 10:05Speaker 1: now in the midst of it. The baddest morning show
- 10:09Speaker 1: on planet Earth, barred none, the most entertaining, the funniest
- 10:15Speaker 1: people in all of morning radio. There is none. It
- 10:20Speaker 1: can't be. It's impossible. This show is comprised of radio
- 10:26Speaker 1: personalities that have been in the business over twenty five years.
- 10:31Speaker 1: This show is comprised of people who have gone to
- 10:33Speaker 1: school for production in radio. And this show is comprised
- 10:38Speaker 1: of foul foods who have dedicated their lives to the uplifted,
- 10:43Speaker 1: edification and laughter of the masses. Ladies and gentlemen. This
- 10:48Speaker 1: is the damn Steve Harvey Morning Show. Get your mind
- 10:52Speaker 1: right because this is it. Prepare yourself. The virus is hill.
- 11:02Speaker 1: What's that you got, Shirley Strawberry, Steve love us some radio,
- 11:09Speaker 1: Yes we do here call it for real, Good morning.
- 11:15Speaker 1: What's up crew? The two thousand, nine hundred and ninety
- 11:21Speaker 1: eighth wonder of the world. That damn junior boy kill
- 11:27Speaker 1: straight more than everybody. The virus is here and it's us. Yeah,
- 11:34Speaker 1: ain't don't care for us, Ladies and gentlemen. Food number
- 11:40Speaker 1: two not the goel the virus is here, not the
- 11:44Speaker 1: gol de virus is here. I don't appreciate that. All right,
- 11:53Speaker 1: I got a joke. I'm gonna read to you. Somebody
- 11:57Speaker 1: sent up to sorry paid food. What's happening? All right?
- 12:04Speaker 1: All right? This is this is a clean joke that
- 12:07Speaker 1: anybody can tell. That was his airplane, and it had
- 12:11Speaker 1: five passengers on it, and old board was Donald Trump
- 12:15Speaker 1: and Pope, doctor Anthony Fossey, Hillary Clinton and a ten
- 12:20Speaker 1: year old school girl. The plane is about to crash
- 12:24Speaker 1: and there's only faux pass shoots five people faux passhut.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Doctor Fosse said, I need one because I got to
- 12:33Speaker 1: go help develop a cure for the global health crisis
- 12:37Speaker 1: that is COVID nineteen. So he takes one and heat jump.
- 12:42Speaker 1: The Pope said I need one because I got to
- 12:46Speaker 1: go help spiritually guide people through the global health crisis
- 12:50Speaker 1: that is COVID nineteen. So he take one and jump. Agreed.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Then Trump said I need one because I'm the smartest
- 12:58Speaker 1: man in the US eight So he takes one and
- 13:01Speaker 1: he jumps. So Hillary turns to the ten year old
- 13:05Speaker 1: and said, you can have the last pass shoes. I
- 13:08Speaker 1: believe my life yours is only started. The ten year
- 13:13Speaker 1: old said, don't worry, there's two pass shoes left because
- 13:17Speaker 1: the smartest man in the USA just took my backpack.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I love it all right, Steve, thank you for that.
- 13:32Speaker 1: We needed that laugh this morning to kick it off.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Coming up in thirty two minutes after the hour, the
- 13:37Speaker 1: President says, we have to get back to work. That's
- 13:41Speaker 1: coming up right after this. You're listening morning show, well, Steve.
- 13:48Speaker 1: During yesterday's news conference, President Trump said, we have got
- 13:52Speaker 1: to get back to work quickly. Take a listen to this.
- 13:55Speaker 1: We have to get back to work. Our people want
- 13:57Speaker 1: to work, they want to go back. They have to
- 14:00Speaker 1: go back. And we're gonna be talking about dates. We're
- 14:05Speaker 1: gonna be talking with a lot of great professionals. But
- 14:09Speaker 1: this is a country that was built on getting it done,
- 14:14Speaker 1: and our people want to go back to work. I'm hearing.
- 14:16Speaker 1: I'm hearing it loud and clear from everybody. What I think.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I think the thing that we want most is, and
- 14:31Speaker 1: I think I can speak for the majority of people,
- 14:34Speaker 1: we want a solution to this major crisis and problem.
- 14:38Speaker 1: We want a solution. We want to feel safe. We
- 14:43Speaker 1: want you all who have passed this two trillion dollars
- 14:47Speaker 1: stimulus instead of giving it to big companies so they
- 14:51Speaker 1: can stay alive and you'll still have your economy together.
- 14:54Speaker 1: We need this trilion dot trillion. We need a trillion
- 14:57Speaker 1: of the trillion to take care of this virus because
- 15:02Speaker 1: we ain't gonna handle We ain't gonna handlebody to go
- 15:04Speaker 1: back to work if we don't fix this. See. But
- 15:07Speaker 1: let me tell y'all something. If they took a trillion
- 15:10Speaker 1: to fight this problem, man, this thing could get handled
- 15:15Speaker 1: a trillion dollars, but they did. That's not what the
- 15:19Speaker 1: trillion is doing. Man, It's not what it's doing. And
- 15:22Speaker 1: there's two trillion and a trillion of it is not
- 15:26Speaker 1: to get people safe and healthy. Again, that's the sad part,
- 15:31Speaker 1: and that's the sad state of our country is in man.
- 15:34Speaker 1: And I hate to tell you this, but we just
- 15:37Speaker 1: happen to care more about money over here than we
- 15:42Speaker 1: do the safety and the welfare of all the people.
- 15:46Speaker 1: The most important thing is not to get people back
- 15:48Speaker 1: to work. The most important thing is to make these
- 15:51Speaker 1: people around the world globally feel self because we gotta
- 15:54Speaker 1: get this fixed, man, right and Steve, that's how you feel,
- 15:58Speaker 1: and those are your thoughts. And you know Jay has
- 16:00Speaker 1: some thoughts too. Those are great thoughts, those are excellent thoughts.
- 16:07Speaker 1: That's what is that. What I'm here is to tell
- 16:11Speaker 1: the president it ain't gonna happen by Easter. That's damn.
- 16:15Speaker 1: We are not. We are not. In fact, I think
- 16:19Speaker 1: we could skip Easter. And here's why we've been praying
- 16:22Speaker 1: a lot, like a lot. Everybody's been praying, praying that
- 16:26Speaker 1: your ass ain't president when we had the selection, so
- 16:29Speaker 1: we might be good on prayer, might be caught up.
- 16:33Speaker 1: And and I say, if we do have the celet's
- 16:38Speaker 1: treat him like we do a Easter egg hunt. Here's
- 16:40Speaker 1: what we do. We hide Trump's ass and see who'll
- 16:48Speaker 1: go look for him. Won't tell nobody where he is.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Don't get the orange egg at all. Other thing. Easter
- 17:01Speaker 1: is not gonna happen. But the Bible does say what
- 17:05Speaker 1: three or more gathered? So that's church right there. If
- 17:07Speaker 1: you got four people in your house, you could you
- 17:11Speaker 1: got the church. And and here's another one though this
- 17:14Speaker 1: is a big one, very big. The Pope canceled Easter
- 17:19Speaker 1: like weeks ago. So when the Pope speak, so who
- 17:22Speaker 1: are you gonna listen? To Trump, we ain't been the church.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Ain't then the church in a bunch of damn Easter.
- 17:32Speaker 1: But the pope, and when the pope, when the pope
- 17:36Speaker 1: you stand over that, you know, to that window, when
- 17:38Speaker 1: you come into that window, and he said these out
- 17:42Speaker 1: of the word. It's not going to have it. We're
- 17:45Speaker 1: not going to have easter, um man. And then as
- 17:49Speaker 1: it it's over with, you can't retract that. You can't.
- 17:54Speaker 1: You can't retract that. And one thing about the coronavirus
- 17:58Speaker 1: that I kind of liked. It made it possible for
- 18:01Speaker 1: you to go in the bank with a mask on
- 18:04Speaker 1: and nobody won't see it. Damn Jake. What they're gonna say, Well,
- 18:15Speaker 1: what do he looked like? He had a mask on? Sir, sir,
- 18:18Speaker 1: everybody had a mask all the day. Afford to tell us,
- 18:24Speaker 1: got old man talking to I don't know who he's talking.
- 18:27Speaker 1: It's not gonna have anybody. No, no, yeah, I want to,
- 18:33Speaker 1: I want, I want. I want the churches to be
- 18:35Speaker 1: filled with beautiful It's like doctor, she said, the virus
- 18:40Speaker 1: is going to determine the time go back to work.
- 18:43Speaker 1: And that's what's going to determine it. Not just because
- 18:47Speaker 1: you think it's a nice day to Easter is cool. Yeah,
- 18:52Speaker 1: we got that part of it. But you have to
- 18:54Speaker 1: make sure you know the virus is under control and
- 18:57Speaker 1: it won't be by that time. Yeah, we talk about
- 19:00Speaker 1: back to work. He talked about going back to work
- 19:02Speaker 1: next to a chart that got more numbers on it.
- 19:07Speaker 1: You know the other thing. Union, You think you're gonna
- 19:09Speaker 1: get people back to work after you send him a check?
- 19:11Speaker 1: Not the word. Yeah, but people do want to get
- 19:19Speaker 1: back to work. Yeah, they do. They really do want
- 19:21Speaker 1: to go and they want to work. I mean when
- 19:23Speaker 1: it's time, people want to leave their house. I mean
- 19:26Speaker 1: we're thankful that we get to do this because this
- 19:29Speaker 1: this is such a release to get to talk to you. Yeah,
- 19:34Speaker 1: these kids back to Yeah what what ca? Let me
- 19:42Speaker 1: tell you something. Come on, I tried to help with
- 19:44Speaker 1: the homework else Today I have now officially been named
- 19:48Speaker 1: the pe teacher. Don't you try to help nobody else
- 19:51Speaker 1: with no homework? You the pe teacher From this point on,
- 19:55Speaker 1: I'm telling you I am not smarter than a sixth grader.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Sure that book is. It's different like you long time
- 20:05Speaker 1: when your grandchild, grand daddy, you can't spell? Oh yeah,
- 20:10Speaker 1: I've known that for a lot. You got it? Yeah,
- 20:14Speaker 1: and then Tommy told us a long time ago that
- 20:16Speaker 1: they don't carry the one anymore in math. Remember that
- 20:20Speaker 1: ain't just math. Shirley is signing social studies. My little
- 20:26Speaker 1: girl say where we're telling it too, what the hell
- 20:29Speaker 1: you do with it? But then you go off on
- 20:33Speaker 1: the child because you don't know what you are you listening?
- 20:37Speaker 1: What do you what they say in the clays You
- 20:40Speaker 1: was there my grandkids on FaceTime today They said, Papa,
- 20:45Speaker 1: can you help us with our homework? I said, I
- 20:47Speaker 1: ain't you? Daddy? Coming up next, the nephew in the
- 20:52Speaker 1: building to run that break back. Right after this. You're
- 20:56Speaker 1: listening to st Morning Show. Coming up at the top
- 21:00Speaker 1: of the hour, our very special guest, doctor Jackie Walters
- 21:04Speaker 1: will be in the building. Our brand new book, The
- 21:07Speaker 1: Queen Be The Queen b is available everywhere. She'll be
- 21:10Speaker 1: here to talk to us about intimacy during this quarantine.
- 21:14Speaker 1: And the nephew in the building right now to run
- 21:16Speaker 1: that prank back. What you got for us, Neff, I
- 21:19Speaker 1: have a law alert, Shirley. It's alarm alert, that's what
- 21:23Speaker 1: it is. Alam alert. Lessons Loving everybody got an alarm
- 21:27Speaker 1: all your laws always go off, you know, from time
- 21:29Speaker 1: and time. This an ALAM alert. Let's see what we
- 21:32Speaker 1: got got, Doe. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach the

- 21:45Speaker 1: an alarm that's gone off on you guys. Property is
- 21:47Speaker 1: all right, are you guys? We're just checking before we
- 21:50Speaker 1: send authorities our is everything? Okay? Then maybe someone trip
- 21:53Speaker 1: the alarm? Oh my gosh, No, I'm at work. I'm
- 21:58Speaker 1: at work right now. I'm not home. Okay. Do you
- 22:01Speaker 1: have a tet or dog or anything that could actually
- 22:03Speaker 1: trip the alone? No, No, that's strange. It never goes
- 22:07Speaker 1: off like that. I'm nervous. Okay, give you a second.
- 22:11Speaker 1: We've got a call into the neighborhood security that actually
- 22:15Speaker 1: are en route to the property, and they were going
- 22:17Speaker 1: to give us some information before we actually sent sent
- 22:22Speaker 1: the police officers out, unless you would like for me
- 22:24Speaker 1: to send them out now. But yeah, I feel like
- 22:26Speaker 1: you should send the police. I mean, if I'm not

- 22:54Speaker 1: Are you familiar with who that might be? Well, I
- 22:58Speaker 1: mean my husband's black, but he should be at work
- 23:00Speaker 1: right now. Okay, oh, definitely, okay, and you probably would
- 23:05Speaker 1: have texted me if you know the alarm was going off. Okay, Well,
- 23:09Speaker 1: I mean, do you have any other black male friends?
- 23:12Speaker 1: Excuse me? Do you have any other Do you have
- 23:16Speaker 1: any other black male friends that might be at the house.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, it's a very weird question. I mean
- 23:24Speaker 1: I have black friends, yes, but I don't think they
- 23:27Speaker 1: would be in my house. Okay, Well, I mean should
- 23:30Speaker 1: we just assume that this is your husband? What do
- 23:32Speaker 1: you think? I I mean, what would you like to work?
- 23:37Speaker 1: I mean, what how tall is this person? My husband's
- 23:40Speaker 1: six on? Hold on one second. Let me go back
- 23:44Speaker 1: to the scurry from the neighborhood. I ain't one second
- 23:47Speaker 1: know somebody's in my alarms going off. I don't know.
- 23:52Speaker 1: I mean, okay, Denise, yes, okay, they have. The black
- 23:57Speaker 1: guy that they're looking at is about five foot and
- 24:01Speaker 1: maybe late twenties. How old is your husband? No, my
- 24:06Speaker 1: husband is I just told you that my husband's not there.
- 24:10Speaker 1: He would have texted me or called me and told
- 24:12Speaker 1: me that he accidentally set the alarm off. And I'm
- 24:16Speaker 1: actually going to text him. I mean, this is crazy.
- 24:18Speaker 1: I should probably call him. Okay, you do realize if
- 24:21Speaker 1: we send you do realize if we send the authorities
- 24:24Speaker 1: out and this is a false call, that you're gonna
- 24:26Speaker 1: get charged for that. You do know that, right, a
- 24:28Speaker 1: false call. You just said somebody's in my house and
- 24:31Speaker 1: it's not me or my husband. You're saying your husband's black,
- 24:38Speaker 1: and then there's a black guy there. I mean they
- 24:40Speaker 1: probably know each other, right, Are you kidding me? What
- 24:44Speaker 1: kind of question is that way? Because they're both black.
- 24:48Speaker 1: I'm just trying to save you some money, ma'am. I
- 24:50Speaker 1: don't want to send out police officers when they get
- 24:53Speaker 1: there and then all of a sudden, your husband knows
- 24:55Speaker 1: the black guy, or he's he's a relative or something.
- 24:57Speaker 1: I mean, do they I mean, you know, do you
- 25:00Speaker 1: want to call what do you think? This is really offensive?
- 25:07Speaker 1: And and I don't understand. If I'm telling you that
- 25:10Speaker 1: I don't know who the person is in my house,
- 25:12Speaker 1: that means sends the police. I mean, this is ridiculous.
- 25:19Speaker 1: They're calling back neighborhoods. Just hold on one second. Neighborhood
- 25:23Speaker 1: security is calling back here. Oh my god, this is ridiculous. Okay, Denise,
- 25:31Speaker 1: Now the security in the neighborhood. They're telling me that
- 25:36Speaker 1: this guy just drove out of the garage and a
- 25:39Speaker 1: white pickup. Do you do you guys have a white pickup? Yes,
- 25:42Speaker 1: we do. So this guy just pulled out of your
- 25:46Speaker 1: your your garage and a white pickup. Well, I have
- 25:49Speaker 1: my car at work and my husband has his car
- 25:52Speaker 1: that's like the truck that he uses on the weekends
- 25:56Speaker 1: for like construction and stuff. So that means somebody just
- 25:58Speaker 1: stole our car. I can't believe this is happening. You
- 26:02Speaker 1: are watching somebody in my house and you you basically
- 26:05Speaker 1: watched them steal my truck. Well, well, I'm gonna go
- 26:09Speaker 1: ahead and now and get the police to go over. Okay,
- 26:12Speaker 1: why are you going to send them? Now? He probably
- 26:14Speaker 1: took all my in my house. I mean the police
- 26:18Speaker 1: get there, There's not gonna be anything left in my house.
- 26:20Speaker 1: Probably set the back of the truck. I mean, I'm
- 26:23Speaker 1: doing the best I can. I'm trying to help you
- 26:25Speaker 1: with you is going to do with me now. I mean,
- 26:28Speaker 1: the whole time you've been talking to me, he's been
- 26:30Speaker 1: cleaning up my house out and stealing. Well, how did
- 26:34Speaker 1: you get in your house? I don't know. I don't
- 26:38Speaker 1: know this guy. You're okay, I'm just asking him how
- 26:43Speaker 1: because somebody gave her house, did you leave something open?
- 26:47Speaker 1: What did you go? Hey, listen, you would know because
- 26:51Speaker 1: I wouldn't have been able to set my alarm this morning.
- 26:54Speaker 1: If something was open, it would beef and it wouldn't
- 26:57Speaker 1: let me set the alarm. And the fact that you're
- 26:59Speaker 1: in terror eating me when somebody's robbing my house. You
- 27:03Speaker 1: need to do your job. I need to call my husband.
- 27:06Speaker 1: You're wasting my time. I mean, by the time the
- 27:09Speaker 1: police get there, it's gonna be tomorrow. So you're gonna
- 27:11Speaker 1: so you're gonna call Darrel now, I'm sorry, you're gonna
- 27:15Speaker 1: call Darrel? Now? How do you know my husband's name? Denise?
- 27:24Speaker 1: This is nephew telling me from the Steve Harvey more
- 27:27Speaker 1: to show your husband. Darrel got me through prank phone coffee.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Oh my god, I was gonna come down there and
- 27:42Speaker 1: right nobody stole your truck, nobody's at your house. Your
- 27:46Speaker 1: alarm is fine, everything is good. But Darrel told me said,
- 27:49Speaker 1: we gotta get my wife. We gotta get a good
- 27:52Speaker 1: that's so did we get you? Oh my god, I
- 27:57Speaker 1: was sweating. I was so angry. I was sweating over here.
- 28:02Speaker 1: All right, so tell me this. What is the baddest
- 28:04Speaker 1: and I mean the baddest radio show in the land.
- 28:08Speaker 1: So Steve Harvey Morning Show, And now you have it
- 28:17Speaker 1: Alert Lord, crazy man, King of Franks. So cool. But no, no,
- 28:25Speaker 1: come on play that one more time, Jake, what is
- 28:28Speaker 1: it for? No? No spell it? Hey no? And oh
- 28:37Speaker 1: m oh no, hey you he but no, he's brilliant.

- 29:10Speaker 1: twenty minutes, Doctor Jackie Walters, the author of the book
- 29:14Speaker 1: The Queen v will be with us to talk about
- 29:17Speaker 1: intimacy during these quarantine times. And uh yeah, also time
- 29:23Speaker 1: now for tell me something good. It's good news. Drew Brees,
- 29:26Speaker 1: the quarterback for the New New Orleans Saints, announced Thursday
- 29:31Speaker 1: that he and his wife would donate five million dollars
- 29:36Speaker 1: to coronavirus relief efforts in the state of Louisiana. And
- 29:41Speaker 1: there yes, yes, yeah, Also some good news from the Kardashians.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Kylie Jenner made a million dollar donation to the Los
- 29:53Speaker 1: Angeles area hospitals. The money will go to mass face
- 29:57Speaker 1: shields and other protective gear for the healthcare workers. The
- 30:01Speaker 1: Michael Jackson estate is also donating that. Yeah, they're making
- 30:04Speaker 1: a three hundred thousand dollars donation to coronavirus response efforts
- 30:10Speaker 1: to help three communities that have been severely impacted by
- 30:13Speaker 1: the coronavirus. And we're going to switch gears now, So
- 30:17Speaker 1: thank you to those estates and the people who are donating.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Switching gears now and other entertainment news. R Kelly wants
- 30:26Speaker 1: to be released from jail pending his trial. Yeah, yeah,
- 30:32Speaker 1: this comes as no surprise though, pending his trial in
- 30:35Speaker 1: Illinois federal court because of his fear. He's saying that
- 30:39Speaker 1: he might contract COVID nineteen. Robert wants to be released. Yeah,
- 30:45Speaker 1: I mean, you know it is it is a threat
- 30:48Speaker 1: in the prisons. You're right, Jay, Robert. Robert wants to
- 30:51Speaker 1: be un bond, Yeah, saying he's willing to wear electronic
- 30:57Speaker 1: monitoring Okay, the nerve. Yeah. He wants to live with
- 31:00Speaker 1: his girlfriendly Savage of course. Yeah. Well what do you
- 31:08Speaker 1: guys think? What you think he should fly? Don't he
- 31:11Speaker 1: think he can fly? Fy? Robert? Well, I mean, you know,
- 31:15Speaker 1: a lot of inmates are gonna be released. I haven't
- 31:19Speaker 1: heard anything in the Chicago area, but I know Rickers
- 31:23Speaker 1: has to do something because they've had a lot of
- 31:25Speaker 1: cases there and I think they're gonna They're doing something
- 31:28Speaker 1: in the La County jail systems too. But you know, look, man,
- 31:33Speaker 1: prison prisoners are people too, and whatever most of them
- 31:38Speaker 1: have done that. It's not a death sentence for him
- 31:40Speaker 1: now as far as he go, I don't know what
- 31:42Speaker 1: they're gonna do. I think that's gonna fall on deaf
- 31:45Speaker 1: ears because everybody want to get out. Yeah, Bill Cosby,
- 31:48Speaker 1: we talked about him yesterday. Yeah, uh huh, there's people
- 31:52Speaker 1: trying to get him out. Robert gonna have to sit
- 31:55Speaker 1: down though, Yeah, Robin, Robin's not down. Yeah. And the
- 32:00Speaker 1: people that too, I'm with you that. Yeah. The people
- 32:04Speaker 1: they're letting letting out have been uh there, they haven't
- 32:07Speaker 1: been charged with any serious crimes, you know. And Sugar
- 32:12Speaker 1: Knight before you even asked, don't ask okay, just don't
- 32:16Speaker 1: ask any You can do that joke now I'm telling me.
- 32:21Speaker 1: And don't wear anybody. Man. Ain't nobody looking for you.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Ain't nobody because yeah, I don't think let yeah, like
- 32:31Speaker 1: y'all say, the serious crimes stop, Yeah, sug Knight, isn't
- 32:35Speaker 1: there from murder on video? I consider R Kelly a
- 32:40Speaker 1: serious crime too? So I sure, yeah, okay, Robert, Robert,
- 32:49Speaker 1: stop you're not okay, stop singing, all right, sen you
- 32:55Speaker 1: some music next. You're gonna have to ride this out,
- 33:00Speaker 1: all right, Steve, Time to switch gears and ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:05Speaker 1: miss a and trip, thank you, Thank you, guys. This
- 33:08Speaker 1: is entered for the news. United States now has the
- 33:10Speaker 1: dubious distinction of leading the world in the number of
- 33:13Speaker 1: confirmed coronavirus cases that's right. As of yesterday, there are
- 33:16Speaker 1: now eighty two, three hundred and twenty one people known
- 33:19Speaker 1: to have been infected by COVID nineteen in this country,
- 33:22Speaker 1: with more than one thousand deaths. That's more cases than China, Italy,
- 33:25Speaker 1: or any other country. Scientists say Americans are in the
- 33:28Speaker 1: predicament therein thanks to some serious missteps like failing to
- 33:32Speaker 1: take the pandemic seriously. First of all, a deeply flawed
- 33:35Speaker 1: effort to provide enough testing early on, and a shortage
- 33:39Speaker 1: of masks and other protective gear and a shortage of
- 33:41Speaker 1: respirators to keep people alive. Meanwhile, New York State has
- 33:44Speaker 1: the largest number of COVID nineteen infections in the country,
- 33:47Speaker 1: more than thirty seven thousand, so the governor there, Andrew Cuomo,
- 33:51Speaker 1: says that's why New York is so focused on making
- 33:53Speaker 1: sure there are enough hospital beds. Little reality, keep the
- 33:56Speaker 1: curve down as low as you can, but you cannot
- 34:01Speaker 1: get the curve down low enough so that you don't
- 34:05Speaker 1: overwhelm the hospital capacity. Alomo says that at least one
- 34:09Speaker 1: new one thousand bed facilities being readied in each of
- 34:12Speaker 1: New York City's five boroughs to address a critical shortage.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Clomo says, until they have the machines that the state
- 34:18Speaker 1: has approved the use of one ventilator for two people,
- 34:21Speaker 1: we're still shopping four ventilators all across the country. We
- 34:25Speaker 1: need more. We have approved the technology that allows one
- 34:30Speaker 1: ventilator to serve two patients, what they call splitting. It's
- 34:34Speaker 1: not ideal, but we believe it's workable. We're also converting
- 34:39Speaker 1: anesthesia machines. We have a couple of thousand anaesthesia machines
- 34:45Speaker 1: in our hospitals, and we're converting them to work as ventilators. Meanwhile,
- 34:49Speaker 1: President Trump says federal officials are developing guidelines to rake
- 34:53Speaker 1: counties all over the country by their COVID nineteen infection risk,
- 34:56Speaker 1: whether high, medium, or low risk. In a letter to
- 34:58Speaker 1: the nation's governors, Trump says the new guidelines are meant
- 35:01Speaker 1: to enable state and local leaders to make decisions about
- 35:04Speaker 1: maintaining or increasing or even relaxing social distancing and other measures. Okay,
- 35:09Speaker 1: not only does the state of Florida want all people
- 35:11Speaker 1: coming from the New York area quarantine for a couple
- 35:14Speaker 1: of weeks, now people coming to Texas from New Orleans
- 35:17Speaker 1: will have to self isolate for two weeks. Get this,
- 35:20Speaker 1: the FBI's arrested a guy in southern California on charges
- 35:23Speaker 1: that he allegedly claimed he developed a cure for the coronavirus.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Authorities say Keith Lawrence Middlebrook was telling his two point
- 35:30Speaker 1: four million Instagram followers that investing in this new cure
- 35:33Speaker 1: of his will make them Millions of health officials say
- 35:35Speaker 1: there's no known vaccination or cure for coronavirus. And very
- 35:39Speaker 1: sad news. Harlem Grope tried to legend curly Neil has
- 35:43Speaker 1: died at age seventy seven. TMZ says that Fred curly
- 35:46Speaker 1: Neil was one of the only, well only five Trotters
- 35:49Speaker 1: to have his jersey retired. He joined at Wilt Chamberlain,
- 35:51Speaker 1: Metal Lark, Lemon, Marcus Haynes and Goose Tatum. Curly played
- 35:55Speaker 1: for over six thousand games. He again he was seventy seven.
- 35:58Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening, hey,
- 36:03Speaker 1: listen to everybody. The good doctors back with us today.
- 36:07Speaker 1: I told you we had a coming back on We
- 36:09Speaker 1: had on the show last month and it was to
- 36:13Speaker 1: debut her best selling new book is called Queen Vee.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Queen Vet now a v is for what exactly what
- 36:20Speaker 1: you think it is. Yes, and she's back with us
- 36:23Speaker 1: today to talk about intimacy, sexual health while quarantine. And
- 36:30Speaker 1: she has been a practice in obgyn for over two
- 36:33Speaker 1: decades and she's one of the star doctors on Bravo's
- 36:37Speaker 1: hit reality show Married to Medicine. Let's get to it,
- 36:40Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, please welcome back to the show our
- 36:42Speaker 1: family member and friend, doctor Jackie Walters. Good morning, good
- 36:49Speaker 1: morning you, thank you, good morning. Thanks for the book
- 36:53Speaker 1: and yeah we got you got a lot of reviews
- 36:55Speaker 1: on it. But let in case our listeners, mister interview,
- 36:58Speaker 1: uh last, give us a quick overview of your book,
- 37:02Speaker 1: Queen V. So the Queen V is everything you need
- 37:06Speaker 1: to know about sex, intimacy and down their healthcare or
- 37:10Speaker 1: anything you need to know about down their healthcare is
- 37:13Speaker 1: in them. Okay, now this information that we're gonna go
- 37:17Speaker 1: over today everybody is for women and men absolutely, because
- 37:23Speaker 1: we all are participants in keeping the Queen V happy. Yes,
- 37:28Speaker 1: we are been a mission of mine anyway decade, but
- 37:39Speaker 1: first had a profound interest as a college student and
- 37:43Speaker 1: it is nothing but grown every since. And so this
- 37:46Speaker 1: book has been really uh uh I don't want to
- 37:51Speaker 1: say I opened it, but it has been really enlightening.
- 37:54Speaker 1: What mister Harvey's talking about is this book is absolutely great.
- 37:58Speaker 1: It will enlighten, encourage, and uplift women and men. And
- 38:04Speaker 1: this book was written before this topic that we're about
- 38:06Speaker 1: to talk about, so you may not find everything you
- 38:09Speaker 1: need to know about the book and this pandemic we're in,
- 38:12Speaker 1: but I got some pits for you in the book,
- 38:16Speaker 1: all right. So just to get everybody ready before we
- 38:19Speaker 1: get into this, I'm gonna tell you that we're currently
- 38:22Speaker 1: going through a national pandemic with the coronavirus. Now, we've
- 38:26Speaker 1: all been ordered to stay inside, and you know what
- 38:29Speaker 1: that means. Yeah, if you stuck inside with your partner,
- 38:33Speaker 1: lots of sex. Now we all know that's not really happening.
- 38:39Speaker 1: I'm some kids is in there too, but it supposed
- 38:44Speaker 1: to mean lots of sex. So we're gonna talk about
- 38:47Speaker 1: it as soon as we come back. The first thing
- 38:49Speaker 1: we're gonna get into are the dudes and don'ts of
- 38:52Speaker 1: intimacy during this pandemic. When we come back, Doctor Jackie
- 38:59Speaker 1: Walters are gonna be talking about the dudes and don't
- 39:01Speaker 1: of intimacy during this pandemic. We'll be right back with
- 39:05Speaker 1: world famous doctor Jackie Walters from Bravo's Married to Medicine
- 39:09Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening, all right, We're back, everybody,
- 39:16Speaker 1: We're back and our special guest this morning is doctor
- 39:19Speaker 1: Jackie Walters, uh, the we had on the show about
- 39:22Speaker 1: a month ago and her new book is called Queen
- 39:24Speaker 1: V And again the book is about what doctor Walters
- 39:30Speaker 1: in healthcare down there. Healthcare. Yeah, we all have to
- 39:37Speaker 1: care about down the healthcare because it affect us all yeah, yeah, yeah. So,
- 39:45Speaker 1: like I said before we left, and doctor vill, I
- 39:47Speaker 1: want you to start right now. We're currently going through
- 39:50Speaker 1: this national pandemic with the coronavirus, and everybody's been order
- 39:53Speaker 1: to stay inside. And you know what that means. If
- 39:55Speaker 1: you're stuck inside with your partner, lots of sex, that's
- 39:59Speaker 1: what's supposed be happening. But let's talk about the dudes
- 40:02Speaker 1: and don't of intimacy doing this pandemic. So first and foremost,
- 40:07Speaker 1: we have been told to say six feet apart from everybody, right,
- 40:13Speaker 1: and we know is six feet apart that's not intimacy,
- 40:17Speaker 1: and we know that's an un You know that nobody's
- 40:20Speaker 1: going to do that. So if and how much we're
- 40:23Speaker 1: having intimacy, we want to talk about it. First and foremost,
- 40:27Speaker 1: you want to have intimacy with your safest sex partner.
- 40:32Speaker 1: You know who that person is, yourself, your Oh I
- 40:39Speaker 1: do love that doctor exactly. I get tired of me fast.
- 40:45Speaker 1: But that's the one mate you won't spread COVID nineteen.
- 40:49Speaker 1: And secondly, your next safest partner is someone you live with.
- 40:55Speaker 1: So having closed contact with a person in your circle
- 40:59Speaker 1: or person but the person in your circle is going
- 41:02Speaker 1: to prevent the spread. But secondly, avoid contact with people
- 41:07Speaker 1: outside of your households. Okay, you know if you're dating online,
- 41:12Speaker 1: if you have asked for dates room, you know those
- 41:18Speaker 1: kind of places you want to avoid that right now,
- 41:21Speaker 1: this ain't the time for that. No, no, no, no,
- 41:24Speaker 1: consider taking a breaking from those um kind of places.
- 41:28Speaker 1: That's hard to do. Quiet, no, I do, yes, sir,
- 41:35Speaker 1: have a question, what if you quarantine with somebody you
- 41:41Speaker 1: can't stand at all? What because you need to speak
- 41:46Speaker 1: to those people? Do ye in the house with somebody?
- 41:54Speaker 1: The V is not gonna be distributed at all. When
- 42:00Speaker 1: we talked about that, we talk about that. Help me
- 42:04Speaker 1: that I want you to speak to those people. Good
- 42:08Speaker 1: is trying to reconnect with that partner. Though days it's
- 42:14Speaker 1: still gonna take a while to get to the vetos
- 42:17Speaker 1: or doctor Yeah, can we speed this up? All right?
- 42:21Speaker 1: And doctor walters. Now, just because they say that during
- 42:27Speaker 1: this quarantine, it's either gonna rebuild your relationships and build
- 42:32Speaker 1: it or a lot of people are going to discover
- 42:34Speaker 1: that this is it. But that's true, it's going to
- 42:38Speaker 1: amplify You're right, you're right, So going to amplify what's happening.
- 42:43Speaker 1: Are there any like suggestions for like getting it on
- 42:48Speaker 1: during the quarantine? Is it anything we need to keep
- 42:52Speaker 1: in mind? A couple of things. One, we have not
- 42:56Speaker 1: found COVID nineteen in seamen or vaginal Hello, I'm telling
- 43:02Speaker 1: you now that deserved. That's what I'm talking about. That's okay,
- 43:07Speaker 1: here's the morning. COVID nineteen, though, has been found in
- 43:12Speaker 1: the feces of people who are infected. I don't mess
- 43:17Speaker 1: with that. But we're going back there. So you're saying,
- 43:20Speaker 1: so you're saying, long as we don't kiss, well, put
- 43:27Speaker 1: your mask on and don't kiss me, don't try and
- 43:31Speaker 1: don't talk to me. This is working out. Yeah, yeah,
- 43:36Speaker 1: now you know he's being honest. It's droplets, it's nucas
- 43:41Speaker 1: and salava and feces, so he's exactly right. Be careful
- 43:46Speaker 1: where you're putting your mouth and putting your mouth. Hold on,
- 43:50Speaker 1: doctor Walter, stay right there. We're gonna hold you because
- 43:53Speaker 1: this is better than what we was gonna do. We'll
- 43:56Speaker 1: be right back with doctor Walters from Marriage to Medicine
- 43:59Speaker 1: with a brand new book out called Queen V. Everybody
- 44:02Speaker 1: get as great quarantine reading as you can tell. Right
- 44:05Speaker 1: back after this. You're listening, all right, y'all, we're back,
- 44:11Speaker 1: and what we'd normally be doing, we're gonna put on
- 44:14Speaker 1: the blocks because we got a great conversation going because
- 44:17Speaker 1: we're talking about sex during the quarantine with doctor Jackie Walters,
- 44:21Speaker 1: who's got a great new book out Everybody, Queen V.
- 44:24Speaker 1: You can get it on Amazon, you can get it
- 44:26Speaker 1: on all Kendle, It's everywhere, and it's a great book.
- 44:30Speaker 1: It is called Queen Via Dell talks about sexual health
- 44:36Speaker 1: everywhere their health and down their intimacy and down their healthcare.
- 44:42Speaker 1: And we've been talking about down now and we just
- 44:45Speaker 1: found out on that last break that yeah, that that
- 44:52Speaker 1: it is found that coronavirus has not been found in
- 44:56Speaker 1: vaginal fluids or seemen, but it but it is in uh,
- 45:01Speaker 1: you know, the mouth and dropletsing, mucasing and feces. Yeah,
- 45:07Speaker 1: if you get coronavirus from feces, your ass all to have,
- 45:12Speaker 1: so you're supposed to get it. I don't know what
- 45:14Speaker 1: you're doing back then, but now we're talking about Let
- 45:18Speaker 1: me ask you this question, doctor, how important is it
- 45:20Speaker 1: to still use birth control during this time? What if
- 45:23Speaker 1: you miss a few days go, Well, you lord the
- 45:27Speaker 1: effectiveness of your birth control by skipping it. So if
- 45:31Speaker 1: you have that counterbirth control that you're to take every
- 45:33Speaker 1: day or use every week and you're starting to miss it,
- 45:36Speaker 1: you may want to consider things like Plan B, like
- 45:41Speaker 1: you or your condom broker, and that's the only birth
- 45:45Speaker 1: control you're using. You may want to keep a kid
- 45:48Speaker 1: of playing BE at the house so that you are
- 45:52Speaker 1: not in having the oops moment you didn't mean to happen. No,
- 45:57Speaker 1: you need some B for the V. Is that what
- 45:59Speaker 1: you're saying? Plan be? You need a BE for the
- 46:06Speaker 1: I got doctor Walters, could you explain what Plan B is?
- 46:11Speaker 1: I normally go with Plan eight, but Plan B is
- 46:15Speaker 1: uh a hormone peel that you will take. You follow
- 46:20Speaker 1: the directions on the box to prevent pregnancy. Yes, and
- 46:25Speaker 1: you need to take this within those first seventy two
- 46:27Speaker 1: hours of yours so that it is most effective. So
- 46:31Speaker 1: if you had a condom that blow, or you haven't,
- 46:34Speaker 1: you've forgotten your peals, or you can't get out and
- 46:36Speaker 1: get your birth control pills and you you're still gonna
- 46:39Speaker 1: have intimacy, you want to make sure you have that
- 46:42Speaker 1: plan be on hand to try and present pregnancy if
- 46:47Speaker 1: that's what you're trying to do, to take only Yes, yes,
- 46:52Speaker 1: for you don't take the peel for plan. Okay, my
- 46:56Speaker 1: band be pregnant by advocated Yeah, okay, yes, worse than
- 47:06Speaker 1: that though, none of this will protect you from HIV,
- 47:10Speaker 1: hepatide assistants, gamria, chlamydia, and gemical war. Wow. Okay, so
- 47:17Speaker 1: now we got that. Now, let me ask you this.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Let's say a couple it's planning on having a baby soon.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Is this a good time to work on that? What's
- 47:26Speaker 1: the pros and cons of conceiving right now? So I
- 47:32Speaker 1: talked to my opportunity friends over there who are doing IDF,
- 47:36Speaker 1: which they put all that on holes because we don't
- 47:40Speaker 1: really have the answers. That's the crazy thing about coronavirus
- 47:44Speaker 1: right now or COVID nineteen, I should say, if we
- 47:46Speaker 1: don't really have the answers, and so I would hate
- 47:50Speaker 1: to tell women not to get pregnant, because that's what
- 47:52Speaker 1: I do. But we don't know the answers. Well we
- 47:55Speaker 1: do know is we have now found any babies who
- 47:58Speaker 1: have been affected by coronavirus. We've had We've seen one.
- 48:04Speaker 1: So doctor, so what you're saying is like, if you
- 48:07Speaker 1: can see and you're pregnant, but if you contract coronavirus
- 48:12Speaker 1: doing your pregnancy, they don't have the facts whether it
- 48:15Speaker 1: passes on to the baby or not. Dostar is not
- 48:20Speaker 1: passed on to the baby's Yes, yes, we've had you know,
- 48:25Speaker 1: I've been with tons of babies in the last couple
- 48:28Speaker 1: of weeks, you COVID positive moms and the babies have
- 48:32Speaker 1: been fined. Well, okay, now here we go because I
- 48:35Speaker 1: don't got you caught up in this thing now, So
- 48:38Speaker 1: let's talk about this because besides having sex, what's some
- 48:44Speaker 1: good ways to connect with your partner doing this time?
- 48:47Speaker 1: Besides six you know, in the in the book, I
- 48:53Speaker 1: talked about the most powerful sex organ we have is
- 48:56Speaker 1: the brain. I don't use that for that before. I'm
- 49:09Speaker 1: sixty three years old and still have yet to use
- 49:11Speaker 1: my brain for sex. This is a good time to
- 49:16Speaker 1: have conversations that you haven't had before, or get those
- 49:19Speaker 1: books out where you have a thousand questions. Ask questions
- 49:23Speaker 1: that you haven't asked before. Um, we could even talk
- 49:29Speaker 1: about COVID nineteen. If I contracted COVID nineteen. I mean,
- 49:33Speaker 1: ob Gyn, I've asked my husband, are you leaving my house? Now?
- 49:37Speaker 1: You know what I wanted him to say, and he
- 49:40Speaker 1: did say that, But those questions that can make us connect.
- 49:44Speaker 1: It made me feel so loved. He's like, no, baby,
- 49:46Speaker 1: I would never leave the house. And he was smart
- 49:50Speaker 1: enough to say it. Yeah. You know, we've seen a
- 49:53Speaker 1: little mean with a man said b B. I'll choose
- 49:56Speaker 1: b y. But yes, well you know, I mean if
- 50:03Speaker 1: you ask the average guy, if your wife catch COVID nineteen,
- 50:06Speaker 1: what you're gonna do, They're gonna be down to Marriott. No.
- 50:11Speaker 1: I mean because I mean, I mean, okay, okay, but
- 50:15Speaker 1: let me let me ask you this the doctor. But
- 50:17Speaker 1: I mean, of course me, I would stay because you understand,
- 50:21Speaker 1: I mean I'm I'm tired to this one here. This
- 50:24Speaker 1: is so right, but now, but if you stay, you
- 50:29Speaker 1: still have to practice some type of or isolation of
- 50:32Speaker 1: quarantine to protect your partner. That's not oh affect in fact,
- 50:40Speaker 1: but your self quarantine in the house, I mean you
- 50:43Speaker 1: go into separate rooms and you will stay that. And
- 50:47Speaker 1: the truth is, and I'm not being a ductor right
- 50:50Speaker 1: now to me already had intimate content. The person finds
- 50:56Speaker 1: out that they have COVID nineteen oh, so we might
- 51:01Speaker 1: well gonna be in the same room, and we might
- 51:03Speaker 1: well gonna do what we're gonna do if we both don't. Connie,
- 51:07Speaker 1: I think we're gonna follow the guidelines. You definitely want
- 51:10Speaker 1: to follow the guidelines and self quarantine and trying to
- 51:14Speaker 1: protect your partner. You know that person's significant enough to
- 51:17Speaker 1: you that you don't want them infected it if you
- 51:19Speaker 1: could possibly prevent it. Right, So that's the problem, see, Doc,
- 51:23Speaker 1: that's problem at my house right now because my wife
- 51:26Speaker 1: has so held been on protecting me. I mean, we're
- 51:30Speaker 1: on the type of lockdown here that's really I don't
- 51:33Speaker 1: even think pentagon, it's have I seen who like you
- 51:41Speaker 1: sound like y'all quarantine with y'all. Oh, no, no, no, no,
- 51:44Speaker 1: I don't no, I don't mean away from each other.
- 51:46Speaker 1: We are on each other every day. But I'm talking
- 51:48Speaker 1: about cantybody else come in here, and it's just really
- 51:50Speaker 1: damn shame. Not the kids. I mean, she'd have told
- 51:55Speaker 1: everybody my husband is over sixty. Ain't nobody, ain't nobody
- 51:58Speaker 1: affecting him? Well, damn baby, I'm healthy though. She don't care.
- 52:02Speaker 1: So you can bring groceries in the house. Yeah, they
- 52:06Speaker 1: got all kinds of guylines. Dam make sure you wash
- 52:09Speaker 1: the basis off, Beau. You bring it in the house,
- 52:12Speaker 1: so they put it on your countertops, Like get my clubs.
- 52:16Speaker 1: I have to strip down in the garage to switch
- 52:19Speaker 1: into new clothes, to take a shower, to change the
- 52:21Speaker 1: more cloat. W Well, doctor Jackie. We applaud you. We
- 52:25Speaker 1: thank you so much. We're praying for you because we
- 52:28Speaker 1: know you're in there on the front lines. We thank
- 52:30Speaker 1: you for coming and getting us this very important information.
- 52:34Speaker 1: I mean, we laugh and joke a lot, but it
- 52:35Speaker 1: is very important. He y'all listen to thank you for that.
- 52:38Speaker 1: Go on Amazon while you're home order the book. You
- 52:41Speaker 1: can get the book on Kindle when they dropped the
- 52:44Speaker 1: box off at the door, spread open it and then

- 52:49Speaker 1: have yourself a nice quarantine read or get it on
- 52:53Speaker 1: books on your iPad. The book is Queen v. Steve

- 53:44Speaker 1: on tight. We got it for you here. It's a
- 53:45Speaker 1: strawberry letter. Thank you, nephew, my fiancee friend. Hold one, huh,
- 53:52Speaker 1: I got some pepper in my throat. I ain't no
- 53:55Speaker 1: damn pepper man, what's wrong with you? Ain't you? Now?
- 54:00Speaker 1: You go and you you all for the weekend. One
- 54:04Speaker 1: more of the morning. I remember when I had pepper
- 54:09Speaker 1: in my throat and what happened? Jake, Come on, let's
- 54:17Speaker 1: get to the letter. My fiance's friend could get it.
- 54:25Speaker 1: My fiance's friend could get it is the subject that says,
- 54:28Speaker 1: Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been with my fiance for five years,
- 54:32Speaker 1: and I'm looking forward to a fabulous fall wedding with him.
- 54:36Speaker 1: I have one problem that has been bothering me, and
- 54:38Speaker 1: I need your advice. I started having vivid sexual dreams
- 54:43Speaker 1: about one of my fiance's best friends about two months ago.
- 54:47Speaker 1: I've even started fantasizing about him when I'm having sex
- 54:50Speaker 1: with my fiance, and I have to concentrate on not
- 54:53Speaker 1: saying the wrong name. The last time we all got
- 54:57Speaker 1: together for game night, the guy was there and my
- 55:00Speaker 1: body started reacting to the mere sight of him. I
- 55:03Speaker 1: swear it seemed like he was doing a little light
- 55:06Speaker 1: flirting with me, but it could have been all in
- 55:09Speaker 1: my mind. Then things really got out of hand and
- 55:12Speaker 1: I was put in an awkward position. One Saturday afternoon,
- 55:16Speaker 1: my friend's fiance came over to return a pressure washer
- 55:19Speaker 1: that he borrowed, and my fiance wasn't at home. I
- 55:23Speaker 1: was wearing my normal Saturday legging and leggings and sports
- 55:27Speaker 1: brought and I went outside to show the guy where
- 55:30Speaker 1: to put the pressure washer. He was more than happy
- 55:33Speaker 1: to see me and gave me a long, lingering hug.
- 55:38Speaker 1: Then he commented on how in shape I am. Then
- 55:41Speaker 1: he pulled away and just stared at my body for
- 55:44Speaker 1: a minute. It was so awkward, and I stood there smiling,
- 55:49Speaker 1: But in my mind, he and I were doing the
- 55:51Speaker 1: nasty right there in the garage. I think he might
- 55:55Speaker 1: have been having the same fantasy I was having heft
- 56:00Speaker 1: thank goodness, and I have not uttered a word of
- 56:03Speaker 1: this to my fiance. I think I should let him
- 56:06Speaker 1: know in case this guy decides to mention it to him.
- 56:09Speaker 1: How should I handle it? Should I tell my fiance
- 56:12Speaker 1: about my fantasies and his friends visit, or should I
- 56:16Speaker 1: steer clear of this guy for a while and not
- 56:18Speaker 1: say anything. Well, most definitely you should steer clear of
- 56:23Speaker 1: this guy. And I got to ask you. I mean,
- 56:26Speaker 1: you've been with your fiance for five years. Do you
- 56:29Speaker 1: love your fiance? Do you really want to marry him.
- 56:34Speaker 1: Those are questions. If the answer to these questions are yes,
- 56:37Speaker 1: then I got to ask you, what are you doing
- 56:40Speaker 1: playing around and flirting around and teasing around with this
- 56:43Speaker 1: other guy? You know what they say, right, play with fire,
- 56:48Speaker 1: you get burt. You know that's saying right. All this
- 56:51Speaker 1: guy is looking for is some sort of little opening,
- 56:54Speaker 1: little opportunity, you know, some kind of way to get
- 56:57Speaker 1: you in bed. Okay, that's what he used to do. Going.
- 57:00Speaker 1: I mean, here's another question for you. Are you willing
- 57:05Speaker 1: think about this really hard? Are you willing to throw
- 57:07Speaker 1: a five year relationship away with your fiance, because that's
- 57:11Speaker 1: what's going to happen if you sleep with this guy
- 57:16Speaker 1: or or end up in the garage doing the nasty
- 57:20Speaker 1: as you put it. Okay, As for telling your fiance,
- 57:25Speaker 1: there's you know, there's nothing to tell him right now
- 57:28Speaker 1: because nothing has happened. Thank god, nothing has happened. But
- 57:31Speaker 1: don't let it go any further than this, please. You're
- 57:34Speaker 1: gonna mess up everything. You're gonna mess up your whole relationship.
- 57:37Speaker 1: You're looking forward to a beautiful fall wedding. Well, that's
- 57:41Speaker 1: not going to happen if your fiance finds out. Okay, No,
- 57:44Speaker 1: you shouldn't tell him. The guy shouldn't tell him. You
- 57:46Speaker 1: guys shouldn't be together. Stay as far away from this
- 57:48Speaker 1: guy as you can, or you're gonna get burned, you know,
- 57:52Speaker 1: messing around with this loser, Steve, This is trouble. This
- 57:56Speaker 1: entire letter is trouble. The subject alone, my fiance friend
- 58:01Speaker 1: could get it, okay, which means you're willing to give
- 58:04Speaker 1: it to it. So already we have trouble. And with
- 58:09Speaker 1: your fiance five years looking forward to a fabulous fall
- 58:12Speaker 1: wedding with him. The only problem you got, and this
- 58:15Speaker 1: is what you wrote about. I've started having You've started
- 58:18Speaker 1: having vivid sexual dreams about one of your fiance's best
- 58:23Speaker 1: friends about two months ago. I even started fantasizing about him.
- 58:27Speaker 1: When I'm having sexual my fiance and I got to
- 58:30Speaker 1: concentrate on not saying the wrong name. This is not good.
- 58:34Speaker 1: This is going the wrong way. A young lady. Last
- 58:37Speaker 1: time we all got together for game night, the guy
- 58:39Speaker 1: was there and my body started reacting to the mere
- 58:42Speaker 1: sight of him. Well, you know you've been doing him,
- 58:45Speaker 1: so yeah, yeah, you've in his mind. You've done him before,
- 58:50Speaker 1: so yeah, you're gonna be a little tripped out when
- 58:52Speaker 1: you see and I swear it seemed to me like
- 58:56Speaker 1: he was doing a little light flirting with me. Yeah.
- 58:59Speaker 1: I mean, dudes ain't st but we hunters. Now, you know,
- 59:02Speaker 1: you you emitting a signal. And if you don't think
- 59:05Speaker 1: we capable of picking up signals, you rong. So you're
- 59:08Speaker 1: emitting this signal. He can see you fidgeted, looking, acting
- 59:12Speaker 1: a little nervous around him, batting your eyes. You're doing
- 59:15Speaker 1: a bunch of little stuff to let him know. And
- 59:18Speaker 1: then things got really out of an awkward position because
- 59:22Speaker 1: one Saturday afternoon, my fiance's free and came over to
- 59:27Speaker 1: return a pressure washing. Oh here we go, keyword pressure Washhall.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, bartered over that he borrowed and my fiance
- 59:39Speaker 1: wasn't home. I was wearing my normal sad day legs
- 59:43Speaker 1: and sports brawl and went outside to show out show
- 59:46Speaker 1: the guy, and I'm gonna leave it right here. Where
- 59:49Speaker 1: to put that pressure washer? I think your mind already
- 59:54Speaker 1: was I think this pressure washing was a fantasy too.
- 59:57Speaker 1: It wasn't really a pressure washing. Who you where to
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: put the pressure wash? We'll have part two of your
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: response coming up. I had twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letters subject my fiance's friend could get it.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: We'll be back right after this. You're listening show, all right, Steve,
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: come on, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters subject my fiance's
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: friend could get it? Baby. Well, that is girl fantasizing
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: by the fiance's friend. She supposed to getting married in
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: the fall. She has sexual or fiance. She thinks she
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: focused like it's him. She got to concentrate not to
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: say the wrong name over that playing on game night,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: he coming in, she tingling in everything. She kind of
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: think he felt the same way, because men can tell
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: if you kind of hitting at him and you're throwing
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: out signals. And then it got really out of hand.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: On one Saturday, Uh, he came over to return a
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: pressure washing that he bowed from. My fiance wasn't home,
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: and I was wearing my normal Saturday leggings and sports brawl,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: and I went outside to show the guy where to
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: put the pressure washer. See the pressure washer already in
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: this story? Is a is a is a metaphor? Metaphor?
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: You know that pressure washer? You really got it sounding
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: like it's something else because you want to go outside
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: and show the guy where to put the pressure wash. Yeah,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: that would have sound like go go outside and find
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: up where whether it boy, and go out here and
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: come on coo co cocoa, Come on, put the pressure washer.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: So whether if pressure washer need to go? You know,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: you get the pressing up against hill and wash it
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: out pressure washer. And he was more than happy to
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: see me and gave me a long lingering hood because
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: you gave him one out of order. Then he commented
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: on high in shape I am. You had on leggings
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: and a sports bro Then he pulled away and just
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: stared at my body for a minute. Look at him. Well,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: my boys, show is lucky. It was so awkward, and
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: I still that smiling. But in my mind him and
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I were doing the nasty right there in the garage.
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: That what you went in there for. See, you went
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: out there in the garage to get to show him
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: where to put that pressure wash him. That's the whole thing, Hill,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: see your mind playing tricks on you, him and everybody else.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: And I think he might have been having the same
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: fantasy I'm having. He left, thank goodness, and I have
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: not other the word of this to my fiance. I
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: think I should let him know in case that this
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: guy God decides to mention it to him. One this
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: is stupidest lyne in the whole damn letter. I think
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: I should let my fiance no what you can tell
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: your fiance You're gonna let him know what because really
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: all this is you, really, this is really you. Don't
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: don't rollers dude up under the bus, this is you.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: I think I'll let him know in case the guy
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: decides to mention it to what girl, let me tell
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: you so, ain't no dude fitting to go to his
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: board and go Man, I stopped by your house when
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: you wasn't home because I figured you wasn't now. I

- 1:21:28Speaker 1: for hour and you need a way out to explain
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: something you know you can, you can blame it on
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: the virus. Right now, Corona did it? Like number one,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: if your cable being cut off, they have coronavirus. Somebody
- 1:21:47Speaker 1: got sick. Ain't done cut this thing off. I'll be damn.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Here's another reason. Gain in weight, that's all you're doing.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: You just gain you blame that on the coronavirus. Or
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: if you're in a relationship that break up. Hey, I
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: just couldn't get over that too. It ended. What could
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: I say? I was quarantined. I know, she another rule,
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: but they told me not social distancing. Take something else.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: You're gonna be able to blame on this coronavirus every
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: baby that's born nine months from now. You're gonna be
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: able to tell people you upset your favorite TV show
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: got counsel causing Corona. Just tell him that that's why
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: mine ain't on the air. No more Corona. You can
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: blame Corona on. You can blame or toilet paper shortages.
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: Definitely against Corona. Yeah, yeah, yeah, climate change all that's
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: caused Corona. His a big one for y'all that's in
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: unhappy relationships and magic. You wilna blame this on Corona.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: Not having sex. I can't social distancing. Yeah, definitely mean.
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: I don't know how you gonna do this one right here.
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: I can't blame this on the lack of hygiene. If
