- 0:01Speaker 1: We have got a lot to talk about on today's show,
- 0:03Speaker 1: including Donald Trump really paying off on the promises he
- 0:07Speaker 1: made to secure the southern border, with a litany of
- 0:10Speaker 1: actions being taken to make sure that the southern border
- 0:14Speaker 1: is secure and shut down. I'm gonna explain that to
- 0:17Speaker 1: you coming up in a moment. We also have what
- 0:20Speaker 1: I'm describing as Black Tuesday, the day where Donald Trump
- 0:23Speaker 1: said to a lot of government bureaucrats, you're fired, including
- 0:27Speaker 1: the heads of the TSA, the Coastguard as well. What's
- 0:31Speaker 1: behind it? That story for you as well coming up.
- 0:34Speaker 1: And finally, Donald Trump has decided to save you a
- 0:37Speaker 1: lot of money, signing an executive order suspending US foreign
- 0:41Speaker 1: eight assistants for ninety days. Now, with all that, let's
- 0:45Speaker 1: get back to what I mentioned at the very beginning.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Donald Trump is paying off on his promise to secure
- 0:50Speaker 1: the southern border. On January the twenty first, President Donald
- 0:55Speaker 1: Trump signed several executive orders aimed at strengthening border security. Now,
- 0:59Speaker 1: these were all because of promises that he made on
- 1:01Speaker 1: the campaign trail. Well, he is now keeping those promises
- 1:06Speaker 1: and turning them into a reality for each and every American.
- 1:10Speaker 1: So what has happened so far. I want you to
- 1:13Speaker 1: know the list so you understand because many in the
- 1:16Speaker 1: media are not wanting to talk about this at all.
- 1:19Speaker 1: The National Emergency Declaration has been signed by Donald Trump.
- 1:23Speaker 1: What does that mean. It declares a national emergency at
- 1:26Speaker 1: the US Mexico border that enables the deployment of federal
- 1:30Speaker 1: troops to assist in border enforcement. This is a very
- 1:35Speaker 1: important tool that the President is using right now to
- 1:38Speaker 1: shut down the southern border. He also made good on
- 1:41Speaker 1: another promise, the Remain in Mexico policy, reinstating the policy
- 1:46Speaker 1: that would require asylum seekers legal immigrants to wait in
- 1:51Speaker 1: Mexico during US immigration proceedings. That is a one to
- 1:55Speaker 1: eighty from what Joe Biden and Kamala Harris did, which
- 1:59Speaker 1: would allow for each and every illegal immigrant that comes
- 2:01Speaker 1: across the southern border, even if they're turning themselves in
- 2:05Speaker 1: to those at the border they're supposed to be protecting it,
- 2:08Speaker 1: saying oh yeah, go free in America. Well, that policy
- 2:12Speaker 1: is no more. The Remain of Mexico policy is now
- 2:15Speaker 1: back into effect and being enforced at this hour. Now.
- 2:19Speaker 1: You may remember that Donald Trump became president back in
- 2:22Speaker 1: twenty sixteen. Many believe because of one major issue, one
- 2:26Speaker 1: major thing that kind of catapulted his campaign. It was
- 2:30Speaker 1: when he said We're gonna build a wall, a big,
- 2:33Speaker 1: beautiful wall, and he said at the time that Mexico
- 2:36Speaker 1: was gonna pay for it. Now, you can argue and
- 2:38Speaker 1: debate over that, but what we know now is that
- 2:41Speaker 1: the border wall construction will be resuming and will be finished.
- 2:47Speaker 1: That's right. Through an executive order, Donald Trump demanded the
- 2:52Speaker 1: resumption and the completion of the border wall along the
- 2:55Speaker 1: southern border as soon as humanly possible. Now, there's also
- 2:59Speaker 1: a big fight that is about to happen, and it
- 3:02Speaker 1: deals with birthright citizenship. And I want you to understand
- 3:05Speaker 1: the argument here. Yes, there is the fourteenth Amendment. Yes,
- 3:11Speaker 1: the fourteenth Amendment states very clearly that if you are
- 3:15Speaker 1: born in the United States of America, you are an
- 3:17Speaker 1: American citizen. The President wants to have a debate on
- 3:22Speaker 1: that issue. So that is why he has decided, and
- 3:25Speaker 1: he knows a legal challenge is coming that we are
- 3:28Speaker 1: going to have, as he described with the termination of
- 3:31Speaker 1: birthright citizenship, specifically if you are born in the US
- 3:36Speaker 1: to illegal immigrant parents. Now, this move is going to
- 3:42Speaker 1: face legal challenges. They know this at the White House.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I don't actually believe they expect they're going to win this.
- 3:49Speaker 1: But what they're trying to do is open a national
- 3:52Speaker 1: conversation about this loophole where many illegal immigrants, days before
- 3:57Speaker 1: they're about to give birth rush the southern border, have
- 4:00Speaker 1: a child in the US and they are an American citizen.
- 4:04Speaker 1: But what it also does it allows then for the
- 4:07Speaker 1: illegal immigrant parents to have a sponsor, a family member
- 4:11Speaker 1: who is an American citizenship to get them into the
- 4:15Speaker 1: US and to get them citizenship. This is a loophole
- 4:18Speaker 1: that Donald Trump wants to have some sort of fix on,
- 4:22Speaker 1: and now he's going to get that Grand debate. There's
- 4:25Speaker 1: also something else the Democrats use, and it was an app.
- 4:29Speaker 1: It was the most powerful app, many believe, in the
- 4:32Speaker 1: world because it gave access to the United States of
- 4:35Speaker 1: America for millions and millions of illegal immigrants. You may
- 4:40Speaker 1: have heard of this app before. It was the CBP
- 4:44Speaker 1: one app. Donald Trump has now moved to disable the
- 4:48Speaker 1: CBP one app, which allows migrants to schedule quote legal
- 4:54Speaker 1: entry appointments, resulting in cancelations now for hundreds of thousands
- 4:59Speaker 1: of applicants. Donald Trump saying we're not playing that game
- 5:04Speaker 1: any longer. And then, in the biggest move so far
- 5:07Speaker 1: in my opinion, is this, Donald Trump moved to designate
- 5:13Speaker 1: the Cartels as terrorists organizations. Not only has he classified
- 5:17Speaker 1: the Cartells as terrorist organizations, but he's also lumped into
- 5:23Speaker 1: this gang such as MS thirteen, as foreign terrorist organizations
- 5:28Speaker 1: as well. Now, what does this do well, it allows
- 5:32Speaker 1: for much more aggressive actions against these groups, including using
- 5:36Speaker 1: the US military. The question everybody has been asking now
- 5:40Speaker 1: is would we actually see the US military go into
- 5:44Speaker 1: what many are describing as a failed state, into Mexico
- 5:47Speaker 1: where the Cartels and MS thirteen gang members run the government,
- 5:51Speaker 1: and going after them and taking them out. It's too
- 5:54Speaker 1: soon to tell exactly what the President's going to do
- 5:58Speaker 1: and declare that they are terrorist organizations what that would
- 6:02Speaker 1: mean for moving against the Cartels outside of the United
- 6:07Speaker 1: States of America. What is obvious is the President right
- 6:10Speaker 1: now is looking for every tool at his disposal to
- 6:14Speaker 1: do whatever he can to protect and defend our borders
- 6:18Speaker 1: and American citizens. Now. The ICE director is also out
- 6:22Speaker 1: on TV talking a lot about what their plans are,
- 6:26Speaker 1: including deportation operations that have already begun in the US.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Tom Homan was on Fox News Channel and here's what
- 6:34Speaker 1: he said.
- 6:35Speaker 2: President Trump signing a stack of executive orders yesterday, making
- 6:38Speaker 2: good in a major campaign promise tackling illegal immigration. Let's
- 6:42Speaker 2: bringing the new borders are to the president. Tom Humman
- 6:44Speaker 2: also the former acting ICE director. So, Tom, we were expecting,
- 6:48Speaker 2: based on your initial schedule, that today roundups of criminal
- 6:52Speaker 2: illegal aliens in the process of deporting them would begin.
- 6:55Speaker 2: It seems to have been put on hold for a
- 6:57Speaker 2: little while. When can we expect that to happen? Where
- 6:59Speaker 2: will it begin?
- 7:00Speaker 3: No?
- 7:00Speaker 4: I started, I started. Teams are out there as of today.
- 7:05Speaker 4: We gave them in direction to prioritize public safety threats
- 7:09Speaker 4: that we're looking for that we've been working on the
- 7:11Speaker 4: target list. There was some discussion about Chicago because the
- 7:15Speaker 4: Pacific Operational Plan was released, so we had to look
- 7:17Speaker 4: at and reevaluate does this raise after safety concerns? And
- 7:22Speaker 4: it does. But we've address that and teams are all
- 7:25Speaker 4: the effective today.
- 7:26Speaker 2: So critics were saying, Okay, you're going to route up
- 7:29Speaker 2: people's at Buila, their grandmother and ship them back to
- 7:32Speaker 2: where they emigrated from. Who are the people that you're targeting.
- 7:35Speaker 4: At least in this initial phase right, are the gays
- 7:37Speaker 4: public safety threats those who are in a country legal
- 7:41Speaker 4: that's been convict to arrested for a serious crime. But
- 7:44Speaker 4: let me be clear, it's not any public safety threats
- 7:47Speaker 4: that will be arrested because of sanctuary cities. We're not
- 7:50Speaker 4: allowed to get that public safety threat into jail, which
- 7:53Speaker 4: means we got to go to the neighborhood and find him,
- 7:55Speaker 4: and when we find him, he may be with others.
- 7:57Speaker 4: And unlike the last administration, we're not going to tall
- 8:00Speaker 4: officers not to arrest in the illegalanding. So if they
- 8:02Speaker 4: find others, they'll be arrested. So Sanctuary city is going
- 8:05Speaker 4: to get exactly what they don't want, more agents in
- 8:07Speaker 4: the neighborhood and more claud arrests.
- 8:10Speaker 2: President Trump's oe number of executive orders, as we pointed
- 8:12Speaker 2: out on illegal immigration. Here's what he signed. He signed.
- 8:15Speaker 2: He declared a national border emergency, ended birthright citizenship, ended
- 8:20Speaker 2: catch and release, reinstated remain in Mexico, designated cartels as
- 8:24Speaker 2: foreign terrorist organizations, deployed active troops to the southern border,
- 8:27Speaker 2: and end the use of the CBP one app, which
- 8:30Speaker 2: many people were using to schedule interviews to claim asylum.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Here in the United States. So I want to take
- 8:36Speaker 2: a couple of those. But let's first of all go
- 8:38Speaker 2: with this idea of ending birthright citizenship. It's enshrined in
- 8:41Speaker 2: the fourteenth Amendment. How with an executive order can the
- 8:45Speaker 2: president change that?
- 8:46Speaker 4: Well, first of all, President Trum's a game changer. One
- 8:49Speaker 4: of the executive orders we worked on, and these are
- 8:52Speaker 4: game change. This is going to give us some more
- 8:53Speaker 4: secure border in my lifetime. So great for him to
- 8:56Speaker 4: do that. Birthright citizenship is a major driver of bill. Look, AGray,
- 9:00Speaker 4: I know from you. I've done this over three decades.
- 9:02Speaker 4: When the first thing is they and doesn't they get
- 9:05Speaker 4: here is get birth to you as citizen childcause I think
- 9:06Speaker 4: that makes hi immune from our laws. Right, So even
- 9:10Speaker 4: if he goes to immigration court, loses his case, even
- 9:13Speaker 4: though he's in the country league he's convicted of a
- 9:15Speaker 4: crime and get to order removal. They think that the
- 9:18Speaker 4: fact have you assistant child make immune. We can't send
- 9:20Speaker 4: that message to the whole world that you can enter
- 9:22Speaker 4: our country legalis's crime. You commit another crime, and you
- 9:25Speaker 4: can even get removed by an immigration judge after expensive
- 9:29Speaker 4: due process. But if you have your citizen child, you're
- 9:31Speaker 4: off the hook. We can't send that matches. We'll never
- 9:33Speaker 4: fix the more.
- 9:34Speaker 2: But the fourteenth Amendment does not differentiate between somebody who's
- 9:36Speaker 2: in this country legally or illegal.
- 9:39Speaker 4: I'm not attorney, but I don't think the fourteen memine
- 9:41Speaker 4: tryings ads at all. We have just as many legal scholars,
- 9:43Speaker 4: constitutional scholars say, doesn't really say that. So what President
- 9:46Speaker 4: Trump is taking that action will let Supreme Court decide.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I love how Tom Homan is making it clear we
- 9:52Speaker 1: want this debate. This was a very clear political decision
- 9:56Speaker 1: by Donald Trump for this debate to happen. There are
- 10:00Speaker 1: many legal scholars that say he's going to lose, but
- 10:04Speaker 1: it's obvious that the White House wants us to be
- 10:06Speaker 1: a grand debate, and that is exactly what they are
- 10:09Speaker 1: going to get all the way at the Supreme Court.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Donald Trump also has made it clear that he is
- 10:15Speaker 1: going to get the right people into his government to
- 10:18Speaker 1: help him on issues like securing the border. He's also
- 10:21Speaker 1: going to get rid of many of the woke people
- 10:23Speaker 1: that were appointed by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Well.
- 10:27Speaker 1: The mantra for Tuesday was you're fired the head of
- 10:32Speaker 1: the TSA and the Coastguard were fired on Trump's first
- 10:36Speaker 1: full day in office. Trump moved quickly to remake, as
- 10:41Speaker 1: he described it, the Department of Homeland Security, firing the
- 10:44Speaker 1: heads of the Transportation Security Administration and the Coastguard before
- 10:47Speaker 1: their terms were up, and eliminated all the members of
- 10:51Speaker 1: a key aviation security advisory group as well, calling the
- 10:56Speaker 1: system out bloated and not working with Donald Trump and
- 11:00Speaker 1: his vision for his administration. Now, the media, of course
- 11:04Speaker 1: they lost their mind. You should not be concerned because
- 11:08Speaker 1: this is exactly what should happen when you are elected.
- 11:11Speaker 1: You get to pick who you want to come in
- 11:14Speaker 1: and to actually lead under your leadership. And the last
- 11:18Speaker 1: thing you want and Donald Trump learned this the last time,
- 11:22Speaker 1: was having people that act like they're loyal to the
- 11:24Speaker 1: president and loyal to your mission, who really are just
- 11:27Speaker 1: flat out lying to you the entire time and undermining
- 11:31Speaker 1: and not doing what your job is. And if Donald
- 11:35Speaker 1: Trump's job is to get the right people pro conservatives
- 11:38Speaker 1: in these office places, well he's moving extremely fast to
- 11:42Speaker 1: make sure he learns from his mistakes. Back in twenty sixteen,
- 11:47Speaker 1: Donald Trump also ordered all federal Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
- 11:53Speaker 1: employees placed on paid leave starting Wednesday by five o'clock.
- 11:59Speaker 1: That's right. The Trump administration directing the government agencies to
- 12:03Speaker 1: draw plans for firing workers in all DEI roles and
- 12:07Speaker 1: to close every single DEI office within the government agencies.
- 12:14Speaker 1: The memo issued Tuesday to heads of departments of the
- 12:18Speaker 1: US government and agencies. The US government set that deadline
- 12:21Speaker 1: of no later than five pm Wednesday to inform the
- 12:25Speaker 1: employees that they will be put on paid administrative leave
- 12:28Speaker 1: as the agencies prepare to close all DEI related offices
- 12:33Speaker 1: and programs and to remove all websites and social media
- 12:36Speaker 1: accounts for such offices. It also asks federal agencies to
- 12:41Speaker 1: submit a written plan by January the thirty first for
- 12:45Speaker 1: dismissing these employees now. President Trump signed that executive order Monday,
- 12:50Speaker 1: inning radical and wasteful quote unquote diversity, equity and inclusion
- 12:54Speaker 1: programs in the federal agencies, with DEI offices and programs
- 12:59Speaker 1: being ordered to shut down. New White House press singer
- 13:03Speaker 1: Terry Caroline Levitt said in a statement Tuesday night, this
- 13:07Speaker 1: is another win for Americans of all races, religions, and creeds.
- 13:12Speaker 1: This is another example of Donald Trump making a promise
- 13:15Speaker 1: and keeping it. President Trump campaigned on ending the DEI
- 13:20Speaker 1: of our federal government in returning America to a merit
- 13:23Speaker 1: based society where people are hired based on their skills,
- 13:26Speaker 1: she said, not for the color of their skin. Now,
- 13:30Speaker 1: it is not clear how many employees will be affected.
- 13:33Speaker 1: The White House did not immediately respond to request for
- 13:36Speaker 1: comment on that. But what the President made clear is
- 13:40Speaker 1: that this was an executive order that he knew the
- 13:42Speaker 1: American people wanted. Now, the left has become obsessed with DEI.
- 13:47Speaker 1: In fact, DEI has infiltrated virtually every aspect of our government,
- 13:52Speaker 1: including the Pentagon pete Headseth was asked about the DEI
- 13:57Speaker 1: policies and what it's doing to the readiness of our
- 14:00Speaker 1: military and is it helping or dividing troops. Here's what
- 14:05Speaker 1: he had to say to his confirmation hearing.
- 14:07Speaker 5: I've written publicly that DII policy or distraction and have
- 14:11Speaker 5: military personnel walking on edgshells. Do you believe that emails
- 14:16Speaker 5: like that that are essentially threatening both serving officer and
- 14:21Speaker 5: a spouse and claiming that they'll lose their pension will
- 14:25Speaker 5: have a distraction and detract from the lethality.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Senator, you mentioned the forties and fifties, and your precisely right.
- 14:34Speaker 3: The military was a forerunner in courageous racial integration in
- 14:38Speaker 3: ways no other institutions were willing to do. I served
- 14:41Speaker 3: with men and women of all backgrounds because of the
- 14:43Speaker 3: courage of people do lay. It's most incredibly importantly, however,
- 14:48Speaker 3: the DEI policies of today are not the same as
- 14:52Speaker 3: what happened back then. They're dividing troops inside formations, causing
- 14:57Speaker 3: commanders to walk on eggshells, not put meritocracy first. That's
- 15:02Speaker 3: the indictment that's made by those serving right now. And
- 15:05Speaker 3: why we're having this conversation.
- 15:08Speaker 1: I love the left here. They're obsessed with trying to say, well,
- 15:11Speaker 1: you just can't do this. And guess what, Donald Trump
- 15:15Speaker 1: is putting people into positions of power where they're saying,
- 15:17Speaker 1: I'm going back to a merit based system. This is
- 15:21Speaker 1: one of those subjects that you should be talking about
- 15:23Speaker 1: with your kids and your grandkids. This is one of
- 15:26Speaker 1: those moments where I truly believe that we must talk
- 15:30Speaker 1: to our kids about we shouldn't be hiring someone based
- 15:33Speaker 1: on the color of their skin or their sexual orientation.
- 15:37Speaker 1: And what the left has done is put our national
- 15:40Speaker 1: security at risk, our border security at risk, our government
- 15:45Speaker 1: agencies at risk because instead of picking the best and
- 15:49Speaker 1: the brightest for job regardless of their skin color, they
- 15:54Speaker 1: have our sexual orientation. What the Biden Airs administration said was,
- 15:58Speaker 1: you can't hire people based on if they're amazing at
- 16:02Speaker 1: a job. You must hire a group of people that
- 16:05Speaker 1: is in all forms of Kumbaiism, where you must have
- 16:09Speaker 1: a certain piece of the pie that is transgendered, a
- 16:12Speaker 1: certain piece that's gay, a certain piece is lesbian, a
- 16:16Speaker 1: certain piece that is Hispanic or African American, or gay
- 16:21Speaker 1: in African American, or transgendered in African American, or Asian
- 16:24Speaker 1: and transgendered or Asian and lesbian, Asian and gay that
- 16:29Speaker 1: they're obsession with having a pie that is forced to
- 16:35Speaker 1: be all of these things. Notice what they left out
- 16:39Speaker 1: merit based. A merit based system is incredibly important. A
- 16:45Speaker 1: merit based system is what we should be looking at,
- 16:49Speaker 1: especially at the FBI, at the DOJ, in hiring people
- 16:57Speaker 1: in our military. The last thing I want to know
- 17:00Speaker 1: is that someone was hired because of the color of
- 17:02Speaker 1: their skinned or their sexual orientation, or their gender that
- 17:06Speaker 1: they quote identify as. I want to know that when
- 17:10Speaker 1: we go to war. We have the best people, by
- 17:12Speaker 1: the way. I don't give a crap if that means
- 17:14Speaker 1: you're gay or straight, or black or white, or Asian
- 17:18Speaker 1: or Indian or Hispanic. I don't care. I want to
- 17:22Speaker 1: know we have the best people for the job. And
- 17:26Speaker 1: what the President is saying is that is exactly what
- 17:29Speaker 1: we're gonna do. We're not gonna have these kumbay A pies.
- 17:33Speaker 1: We're not gonna have people in the military leading the
- 17:36Speaker 1: military who are men dressed like women. That is something
- 17:40Speaker 1: that Joe Biden Kamala Harris actually did. We're not gonna
- 17:43Speaker 1: have people over health and human services that are dudes
- 17:47Speaker 1: dressed like chicks. We're not gonna have people that are
- 17:51Speaker 1: in charge of nuclear waste that are dudes dressed like
- 17:54Speaker 1: chicks who are stealing women's clothes at airports. That is
- 17:58Speaker 1: also something else that Joe Biden than Kamala Harris made
- 18:01Speaker 1: a priority and employed, because what they decided is that
- 18:06Speaker 1: the government hiring was all about DEI not about the
- 18:11Speaker 1: best people for the job. These same people, by the way,
- 18:15Speaker 1: that we're making these decisions are the same ones that
- 18:18Speaker 1: Joe Biden had to put on a list to pardon
- 18:21Speaker 1: because they're afraid that they were so about their jobs
- 18:24Speaker 1: and instead of actually doing their job for the American people,
- 18:27Speaker 1: they were breaking laws. You look at people like Fauci,
- 18:31Speaker 1: You look at people like Chuck Schumer and his staff
- 18:33Speaker 1: and how they weaponized the government to go after their
- 18:35Speaker 1: political enemies. You look at all of the people like
- 18:38Speaker 1: Mark Milly that were given a pardon for goodness sakes
- 18:43Speaker 1: because they were more obsessed with things like DEI than
- 18:47Speaker 1: they were serving the American people. This is what got
- 18:52Speaker 1: us into this mess. Now. I got to tell you,
- 18:55Speaker 1: the fact that Donald Trump is moving as fast as
- 18:57Speaker 1: he is on this is incredible and it's going to
- 19:00Speaker 1: have a massive impact on this country, I think for
- 19:03Speaker 1: years to come. I want to turn to something that
- 19:08Speaker 1: Donald Trump announced that is also another campaign promise kept.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Donald Trump said it is time for other countries to
- 19:16Speaker 1: pay their fair share, especially when it comes to foreign aid.
- 19:20Speaker 1: The countries for far too long have been taking advantage
- 19:23Speaker 1: of the United States of America organizations like the World
- 19:25Speaker 1: Health Organization, or the United Nations or NATO. The list
- 19:29Speaker 1: goes on and on. So what did President Trump do?
- 19:33Speaker 1: He signed an executive order suspending all US foreign assistance
- 19:37Speaker 1: programs for the next ninety days, pending what he describes
- 19:42Speaker 1: as a comprehensive review to ensure their alignment with his
- 19:46Speaker 1: administration's policy objectives. Now, the suspension affects a wide range
- 19:51Speaker 1: of global initiatives, including the humanitarian aid packages that we send,
- 19:56Speaker 1: economic development packages, and health programs. I believe the US
- 20:01Speaker 1: contributes approximately seventy point three billion annually in four and
- 20:07Speaker 1: aid supporting various international efforts. Donald Trump is saying, that's
- 20:12Speaker 1: too much money. And you and I the taxpayer, are
- 20:15Speaker 1: having to pay that seventy plus billion, and we don't
- 20:19Speaker 1: have it, which means we're borrowing it, and then we're
- 20:21Speaker 1: paying interest on it as well. Now, in conjunction with
- 20:25Speaker 1: the suspension, President Trump also announced the United States is
- 20:29Speaker 1: withdrawn from the WHO, known as the World Health Organization.
- 20:34Speaker 1: It is a process that will take effect in twelve months.
- 20:37Speaker 1: So everyone that's freaking out over this calmed down. This
- 20:41Speaker 1: could be used as major leverage over the next twelve
- 20:44Speaker 1: months to get a better deal. Why do we need
- 20:47Speaker 1: a better deal? Well, as President Trump put it, the
- 20:50Speaker 1: US is overwhelmingly the largest financial contributor to the World
- 20:56Speaker 1: Health Organization, accounting for about twenty percent of its overall funding.
- 21:02Speaker 1: This decision has raised many concerns in the White House
- 21:05Speaker 1: that we are just writing checks that no one else
- 21:09Speaker 1: in the world is willing to write. So what are
- 21:12Speaker 1: the faucies of the world saying right now, Well, they're
- 21:15Speaker 1: saying that this decision was raising quote major concerns among
- 21:19Speaker 1: global health experts, who are now warning that it could
- 21:23Speaker 1: undermine the international health initiatives, particularly in low income countries.
- 21:28Speaker 1: The President's response is clear, why are we paying twenty
- 21:32Speaker 1: percent of the who's contributions? Now, the Secretary of State,
- 21:38Speaker 1: Marco Rubio has been tasked with evaluating each foreign aid program.
- 21:43Speaker 1: So this will not be done at the Oval office level.
- 21:47Speaker 1: He's saying, Marco Rubio, Secretary of State, he needs to
- 21:50Speaker 1: dive into this. He needs to evaluate each four and
- 21:53Speaker 1: aid program and then Marco Rubio will determine its contributions
- 21:58Speaker 1: to America's safety, America's strength, and America's prosperity. That is
- 22:04Speaker 1: the criteria laid out by Donald Trump. Now, while the
- 22:08Speaker 1: suspension is comprehensive, funding appropriated by Congress and obligations to
- 22:16Speaker 1: long term aid recipients like Israel, Egypt and Jordan will
- 22:21Speaker 1: remain quote unquote unaffected. That is what the AP is
- 22:25Speaker 1: reporting at this hour. Now, these actions reflect quote a
- 22:29Speaker 1: significant shift in US foreign policy, emphasizing an America first approach,
- 22:35Speaker 1: which clearly the American people wanted. Now, Donald Trump's approach
- 22:39Speaker 1: and reevaluation of the nation's role in international assistance in
- 22:43Speaker 1: global health leadership could save the American taxpayer literally hundreds
- 22:49Speaker 1: of billions of dollars. That is exactly why he said,
- 22:53Speaker 1: this is an American first policy. We are not going
- 22:56Speaker 1: to be the piggy bank for the rest of the world.
- 22:59Speaker 1: He's also call other nations that aren't giving like we are, saying,
- 23:03Speaker 1: if you think these policies are so good and these
- 23:05Speaker 1: initiatives are so good, then you need to pay your
- 23:08Speaker 1: fair share. But America is not going to be an
- 23:11Speaker 1: idiot or a dummy any longer. And that's the best
- 23:15Speaker 1: part about all of this. Now, it's not just foreign
- 23:18Speaker 1: aid that has become a hot button issue. Speaker Mike
- 23:23Speaker 1: Johnson and the White House seem to be in lockstep
- 23:26Speaker 1: on another issue, and that is when it comes to
- 23:29Speaker 1: rebuilding California after the horrific wildfires. There's a lot of debate. Now,
- 23:35Speaker 1: how much should you, the American taxpayer be on the
- 23:37Speaker 1: hook to rebuild after human government mismanagement. Now, the people
- 23:43Speaker 1: in California gets decide to who they want to send
- 23:45Speaker 1: to Washingt, d C. Or who they want to be
- 23:48Speaker 1: their governor or their mayor, and they have the right
- 23:51Speaker 1: to be incompetent. But when they get it wrong, and
- 23:54Speaker 1: that incompetence costs people's lives and results in massive destruction
- 24:00Speaker 1: we're witnessing right now that was clearly avoidable. Should you
- 24:05Speaker 1: and I bail them out as well?
- 24:08Speaker 3: Well?
- 24:08Speaker 1: Speaker Johnson was asked about that on John Hannity's TV
- 24:11Speaker 1: show that they did live from the Capitol, and here
- 24:15Speaker 1: is what he said.
- 24:17Speaker 6: Let's go to a specific example, our old friend gavenussem Okay,
- 24:23Speaker 6: a lot of Gavin fans here, I can tell her.
- 24:26Speaker 6: I actually feel sorry for the people in California that
- 24:29Speaker 6: we're making. You know, what do they lose thirteen thousand structures?
- 24:32Speaker 6: I mean, it's terrible, and they never practiced the science
- 24:35Speaker 6: of forestry. How do you have a fire hydrant that
- 24:38Speaker 6: has no water? How do you have a reservoir that
- 24:40Speaker 6: is empty? That is government to me at its worst. Right,
- 24:43Speaker 6: they didn't have control burns that didn't clear the kindling
- 24:46Speaker 6: the brush that was that you should be clearing out.
- 24:49Speaker 6: And but you go to California, they're a sanctuary state.
- 24:53Speaker 6: LA and San Francisco are sanctuary cities. Okay, Gavin is
- 24:58Speaker 6: doubling down on a fight Trump agenda. You know, Trump
- 25:02Speaker 6: proved California, right, and so are you saying that you
- 25:07Speaker 6: that California if they continue to aid and a bet
- 25:10Speaker 6: law breaking and harbor illegal immigrants, money from DC gets
- 25:15Speaker 6: cut off.
- 25:16Speaker 7: Yeah, we're talking about conditions to this disaster. Look, they're
- 25:20Speaker 7: natural disasters, but there are man made disasters as well.
- 25:23Speaker 7: And they made terrible decisions. You know, they knew exactly
- 25:26Speaker 7: what they were doing. That reservoir outside of Pacific Palisades
- 25:29Speaker 7: one hundred and seventeen million gallons, it was empty for
- 25:31Speaker 7: a year. Why they were trying to save a smelt
- 25:33Speaker 7: fish or something. I mean, their policies are upside down.
- 25:36Speaker 7: They made decisions that made that disaster exponentially worse. And
- 25:40Speaker 7: this is what the American taxpayer is demanding of us
- 25:43Speaker 7: everywhere else in the country.
- 25:44Speaker 6: But take a step further. Yeah, represent any representatives from
- 25:48Speaker 6: California here, anybody? Well, Okay, Hi, he's bashful. That's Caavin's
- 25:55Speaker 6: cousin in the back.
- 25:56Speaker 1: No, I'm kidding. I'm teasing.
- 26:00Speaker 6: Congressmen and women from California. Republicans will come and say,
- 26:04Speaker 6: if you do this to my state, I'll never win reelection.
- 26:07Speaker 7: No, the Californias that are here are fiscal conservatives. They're
- 26:10Speaker 7: fiscally responsible. They know that we owe the taxpayer some
- 26:13Speaker 7: accountability for those funds, and so what we're talking about
- 26:16Speaker 7: is making sure that they follow common sense in California,
- 26:19Speaker 7: and if there's culpability for what happened, there really needs
- 26:22Speaker 7: to be conditions that follow that aid. It's not unprecedented,
- 26:24Speaker 7: by the way, after Katrina and my Styff there are
- 26:26Speaker 7: conditions placed upon the funds that happened after Hurricane Sandy
- 26:30Speaker 7: up in the Northeast. So there's a tradition of doing this,
- 26:33Speaker 7: and in California it certainly makes sense. So we're going
- 26:35Speaker 7: to come to consensus on with them.
- 26:36Speaker 6: Would conditions be tied to defundismantle Nobelos.
- 26:41Speaker 7: Look, I think all those issues have to be addressed.
- 26:43Speaker 7: When you're talking about disaster raid, you don't want to
- 26:45Speaker 7: leave the people you know who are really hurting without
- 26:47Speaker 7: something because of the terrible political choices of their leaders.
- 26:50Speaker 7: But we got to thread that needle the right way.
- 26:52Speaker 7: But I think that what we're talking about here is
- 26:54Speaker 7: restoring common sense, even in the state of California. Right
- 26:57Speaker 7: the mandate, we have, the responsibility you have, We're going
- 27:00Speaker 7: to do that very thing.
- 27:02Speaker 1: I love the way that was described there. You can
- 27:04Speaker 1: be compassionate without us being suckers. Now the left, of course,
- 27:07Speaker 1: is going crazy. The minority leader in the House a
- 27:11Speaker 1: guy by the name of Representative Jeffries. He was asked
- 27:14Speaker 1: on Meet the Press on Sunday about disaster AID and
- 27:19Speaker 1: he went back to quote the history in America. Take
- 27:22Speaker 1: a listen, let me.
- 27:24Speaker 8: Get your take on disaster aid. Leader Jeffries, you just
- 27:27Speaker 8: heard Speaker Johnson very clearly say that yes, there may
- 27:31Speaker 8: be strings attached, that yes, it's possible that they will
- 27:35Speaker 8: move to try to link it to an increase in
- 27:38Speaker 8: the debt limit. Would you vote yes if that were
- 27:41Speaker 8: to come before you, if that were the only way
- 27:44Speaker 8: you believe to get disaster relief to Californians.
- 27:47Speaker 9: The California delegation in the House has been very clear
- 27:51Speaker 9: that they do not support conditioning disaster assistance to the
- 27:56Speaker 9: American people whose lives have been overturned as a result
- 28:03Speaker 9: of the historic wildfires in California. In the history of
- 28:07Speaker 9: this country, we have never conditioned disaster assistance to Americans
- 28:12Speaker 9: who are hurting. Why would we do it?
- 28:15Speaker 3: Right now?
- 28:16Speaker 9: Here's the answer in terms of why House Republicans are
- 28:20Speaker 9: proposing to do just that. House Republicans want to pass
- 28:25Speaker 9: massive tax breaks for billionaires and wealthy corporations to benefit
- 28:31Speaker 9: the wealthy, the well off, and the well connected, and
- 28:34Speaker 9: to stick the bill with working class Americans and those
- 28:39Speaker 9: in the middle class who they claim to want to support.
- 28:42Speaker 9: That is not an effort. That is not a scheme
- 28:45Speaker 9: that Democrats will support.
- 28:48Speaker 1: I love how it calls this scheme. In other words,
- 28:51Speaker 1: Democrats believe, no matter how incompetent Democrats are or the
- 28:55Speaker 1: people that vote for them, and how expensive their incompetency become,
- 29:00Speaker 1: when it's a disaster, that you, the American taxpayer, should
- 29:04Speaker 1: shut up, borrow the money and write the damn check.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Whether it's a billion dollars, fifty billion, one hundred and
- 29:10Speaker 1: fifty or three hundred billion. They don't care. They want
- 29:15Speaker 1: you to write the check. And what Donald Trump is
- 29:17Speaker 1: saying and what Speaker Johnson is saying is no, that
- 29:20Speaker 1: is not what the people send us to Washington to do.
