- 2:05Speaker 7: You're listening to the voice, Come on digging now, one
- 2:09Speaker 7: and only Steve Harley got a radio show. Okay, here
- 2:12Speaker 7: we go today, folks. This is a good one because
- 2:16Speaker 7: today I want to share with you something that affects
- 2:21Speaker 7: every living soul, and that one thing is your attitude.
- 2:28Speaker 7: This affects everyone. It is your attitude.
- 2:34Speaker 2: You know.
- 2:36Speaker 7: I don't know if anyone's ever told you, but I
- 2:39Speaker 7: mean many of you who listen and know this, But
- 2:42Speaker 7: there are a lot of people who don't understand a
- 2:46Speaker 7: positive attitude can bring about a change. A positive attitude
- 2:53Speaker 7: can bring about a change. Well, now here we go
- 2:56Speaker 7: with the nay says well, Steve, what you mean if
- 2:57Speaker 7: I'm just positive being changed? I'm gone What me being
- 3:01Speaker 7: positive got to do with that? Okay, now, listen to
- 3:04Speaker 7: me carefully. A positive attitude can bring about change. Well, okay, Steve,
- 3:10Speaker 7: I hear you saying that, But they done fired me.
- 3:13Speaker 7: So now what does my having a positive attitude have
- 3:16Speaker 7: to do with the fact that they fired me? Well,
- 3:21Speaker 7: one more time, A positive attitude can bring about change. Well, Steve,
- 3:28Speaker 7: I set up in here and gave eight, nine, twelve
- 3:32Speaker 7: years of my life to this man and he just
- 3:35Speaker 7: he cheated on me and walked out. Now what does
- 3:37Speaker 7: me being positive have to do with him cheating on me?
- 3:41Speaker 7: How that's gonna change that? Okay, here we go again.
- 3:46Speaker 7: A positive attitude can bring about change. Now listen to
- 3:50Speaker 7: the whole thing. Now, the positive attitude and the change
- 3:56Speaker 7: that can happen starts start. It starts within you. See,
- 4:06Speaker 7: life is ten percent of what happens, is ninety percent
- 4:09Speaker 7: what you do about what happens. Okay, you gave twelve
- 4:12Speaker 7: years of your life to this man. He cheated and
- 4:14Speaker 7: left you holding the bag, the kids and everything. Now
- 4:17Speaker 7: what does being positive have to do with changing that?
- 4:21Speaker 7: Or they came in and they fired you. You lost
- 4:23Speaker 7: your job that you was a stellar performer at. But
- 4:27Speaker 7: now how does you having a positive attitude? How does
- 4:30Speaker 7: that change things for you? So far, you can use
- 4:34Speaker 7: any example. Here's what happens when you have a positive attitude.
- 4:40Speaker 7: What it produces within you is a positive approach to life.
- 4:45Speaker 7: And when you have a positive attitude and a positive
- 4:48Speaker 7: approach to life, it causes you to be optimistic, to
- 4:54Speaker 7: have a positive out look, to expect things to evic
- 5:00Speaker 7: actually turn around and turn into a positive That's very
- 5:04Speaker 7: important because as the law of attraction comes into play,
- 5:08Speaker 7: if you think positive thoughts, you attract positive things. If
- 5:15Speaker 7: you think evil thoughts, you attract evil to you. You know,
- 5:19Speaker 7: if you want for nothing, then nothing comes your way.
- 5:23Speaker 7: If you want for positive attitude, if you want for
- 5:26Speaker 7: positive results, if you want for a great outcome, that's
- 5:29Speaker 7: what you attract to you.
- 5:31Speaker 2: The change will begin within you.
- 5:33Speaker 7: So let's take the man that walked out your life
- 5:36Speaker 7: and left you hold in the bag. Here's a positive attitude. Okay,
- 5:41Speaker 7: two things have happened that's positive.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Here.
- 5:44Speaker 7: Number one, you've rided yourself of someone who is obviously
- 5:48Speaker 7: going to be, if not already been, toxic in your life.
- 5:52Speaker 7: Cause you many restless nights, a lot of uncomfortable feelings
- 5:57Speaker 7: and uneasiness, not surecure purity. You've been going through it
- 6:01Speaker 7: with this person, whoever they are. Number One, that person
- 6:05Speaker 7: has been released from your life. Number Two, it allows
- 6:09Speaker 7: you now to have the someone who will treat you
- 6:13Speaker 7: just the way you want to be treated. That's the
- 6:15Speaker 7: positive outlook, that's the optimistic way. That's when you're a
- 6:19Speaker 7: positive person. You see the positive in things that happen
- 6:22Speaker 7: to you, instead of burying yourself under the what's wrong
- 6:26Speaker 7: with it? A old woe is me now concept? See
- 6:29Speaker 7: a positive attitude. When they came in there and they
- 6:32Speaker 7: fired you and let you go, could this not have
- 6:36Speaker 7: been just the opening you needed to finally start on
- 6:40Speaker 7: a new career path that you've been talking about doing anyway?
- 6:44Speaker 7: Could it possibly be a brand new chance for you
- 6:48Speaker 7: to get the dream job or dream career of your choice.
- 6:52Speaker 7: Could it not possibly be the perfect opportunity now for
- 6:56Speaker 7: you to finally finally do something about that gift, about
- 7:02Speaker 7: that talent that God gave you, that thing that you
- 7:04Speaker 7: love to do. Could it not be the perfect time
- 7:07Speaker 7: for you to pursue that. But if you don't have
- 7:09Speaker 7: a positive attitude, then you lay there. Oh they finish,
- 7:13Speaker 7: Come get in my house. Oh what I'm gonna do now. Oh,
- 7:17Speaker 7: this unemployment ain't enough. Oh Lord, when this unemployment run out,
- 7:21Speaker 7: what am I gonna do? Then I won't have nothing?
- 7:24Speaker 7: And you old woe is me until you become old
- 7:28Speaker 7: woe is me. But if you take it from the
- 7:30Speaker 7: positive approach, some amazing things can happen in your life.
- 7:35Speaker 7: I will tell you on a personal note, that's some
- 7:38Speaker 7: of the most some of the best changes, some of
- 7:41Speaker 7: the biggest moments in my life came after a loss.
- 7:45Speaker 2: So I don't want to go down the list, but boy,
- 7:47Speaker 2: I could tell you. Let me let me tell you something.
- 7:49Speaker 7: When they didn't want me on the radio anymore in La,
- 7:53Speaker 7: well they didn't when they were it was sick of
- 7:54Speaker 7: the way I did radio out there, and they wanted
- 7:57Speaker 7: me gone. And on May twenty thirty, two thousand and five,
- 8:03Speaker 7: when my did when when my deal was done with
- 8:09Speaker 7: the beat out in La. Okay, look what happened though. Yeah,
- 8:14Speaker 7: I was gone in May. But in September nineteenth I
- 8:17Speaker 7: started to Steve Harvey Radio Network with four cities.
- 8:22Speaker 2: You see. But I didn't go old woe was me?
- 8:25Speaker 7: I said, Oh okay, God must have something else from
- 8:29Speaker 7: it in because if he didn't remove me from this,
- 8:31Speaker 7: that must be something else. Same thing can happen when
- 8:34Speaker 7: you lose and you break up in a relationship, Same
- 8:38Speaker 7: thing can happen to you. You never know the one
- 8:40Speaker 7: God God for you that here you go, here you
- 8:43Speaker 7: go again. Now you get put into a situation where
- 8:45Speaker 7: somebody treat you just the way you want to be treated,
- 8:48Speaker 7: provide you the whole lot of aspects of your life
- 8:50Speaker 7: you knew nothing about prior to that. But you gotta
- 8:53Speaker 7: stay positive. If you stay positive, that positive attitude, that
- 8:57Speaker 7: optimistic outlook, that that always thinking God got me no
- 9:03Speaker 7: matter what happened to me, some amazing things that's going
- 9:06Speaker 7: will happen in your life. It's a fact. I don't
- 9:09Speaker 7: know how it works that way. I just know that's
- 9:12Speaker 7: what it is. Positive attitude is everything, y'all. So get
- 9:15Speaker 7: off the old woe is Me negativity train because it
- 9:18Speaker 7: ain't gonna take you nowhere but down and get your
- 9:21Speaker 7: outlook up. If you change your attitude, you change your altitude.
- 9:26Speaker 7: Altitude is determined by your attitude. How high you go,
- 9:30Speaker 7: how big you become, how far you go. It all
- 9:33Speaker 7: depends on how you think. It all depends on what
- 9:36Speaker 7: type of attitude you got. Ain't ain't no very very successful,
- 9:41Speaker 7: super negative people. It just doesn't coincide that way. If
- 9:46Speaker 7: you see that something that happened to them along the way,
- 9:48Speaker 7: and don't worry. You ain't gotta worry about it because
- 9:50Speaker 7: you ain't gonna see him long, because you can't stay
- 9:52Speaker 7: up there like that.
- 9:53Speaker 2: It's just too hard, all right.
- 9:56Speaker 1: That's the conversation you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Chew.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Ladies and gentlemen.
- 10:02Speaker 7: You know what, It's another day, another time, another opportunity,
- 10:06Speaker 7: another blessing, another moment of favor us. All of that,
- 10:09Speaker 7: it never changes. And you know who's responsible for it all?
- 10:13Speaker 2: God did it. God did it again.
- 10:17Speaker 7: How grateful are we that He just keeps on keeping
- 10:21Speaker 7: on consistent.
- 10:24Speaker 2: I'm talking about without fail, He never missed.
- 10:28Speaker 7: Man, Talk to yourself, Steve Harvey, get that through your
- 10:32Speaker 7: thick skull and quit warring because God has always had
- 10:38Speaker 7: it and he'll continue to have it. Stay brave all
- 10:41Speaker 7: to my steps and watch out well, because He ain't
- 10:45Speaker 7: through with me yet, ladies and gentlemen. Steve Harvey, Marni Show,
- 10:48Speaker 7: Shelly Strawberry Calling for Real Mississippi, Monica Junior and the
- 10:51Speaker 7: legend of nephew Tommy Junior.
- 10:55Speaker 2: What's on your mind today? Man?
- 10:57Speaker 8: You use the word grateful of you said that times
- 11:00Speaker 8: to this morning. Have you mastered being grateful while going
- 11:04Speaker 8: through the storm? Have you gotten good at that? I
- 11:07Speaker 8: haven't mastered it. I've I've learned how to do it better,
- 11:13Speaker 8: but I have I definitely haven't mastered it. I don't
- 11:17Speaker 8: know very few people master that one. I don't know
- 11:21Speaker 8: because you know, because we're human, because when you're going
- 11:23Speaker 8: through it, sometimes the focus ain't on the blessing and
- 11:29Speaker 8: the lesson. The focus is on the problem. I mean,
- 11:33Speaker 8: sometimes you just be sitting there looking at it, going
- 11:36Speaker 8: it's good right here? Thank God? Who where you're at?
- 11:40Speaker 9: Now?
- 11:41Speaker 2: Hey you're tripping? I'm down here. You see me? Come
- 11:46Speaker 2: see what? Holler at your boy?
- 11:48Speaker 7: Yeah it's me. I've been I've been good. Come on now,
- 11:56Speaker 7: how long? How long I'm tired? And then you know,
- 12:01Speaker 7: a few days go by, Hey, god, lord, they and
- 12:09Speaker 7: then a couple of weeks go by, Oh okay God,
- 12:14Speaker 7: and you find yourself in that situation.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I've done it.
- 12:17Speaker 7: So no, I haven't mastered it at all, but I'm
- 12:20Speaker 7: getting better at it, and I'm trying to. Now, I
- 12:24Speaker 7: can bring myself out of it after a time. But
- 12:28Speaker 7: you know, sometimes I get I get stuck. I'm not
- 12:33Speaker 7: gonna tell no tale. Sometimes I get a little stuck, man,
- 12:36Speaker 7: And I'm right there going man, come on, man, And
- 12:40Speaker 7: then I forget what all God has done for now,
- 12:44Speaker 7: what he does for me though, because he knows how
- 12:46Speaker 7: I am, he will send me a reminder of how
- 12:51Speaker 7: good he is, Like in my quest for wanting more.
- 12:57Speaker 7: Sometimes he'll make me stop and go see what I have.
- 13:01Speaker 7: Grateful And you know something, man, so you could just quit.
- 13:05Speaker 7: You know, I know you got your hand out. I
- 13:08Speaker 7: understand why you want it. I understand what you say
- 13:10Speaker 7: you're gonna do it. But right now I need you
- 13:12Speaker 7: to take a real good look around because I've been
- 13:15Speaker 7: here the whole time in the blessing business.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Now, can you just thank me for that and then
- 13:20Speaker 2: so we.
- 13:20Speaker 10: Can move on?
- 13:22Speaker 2: All right, God, I appreciate it all right now, Sit tight,
- 13:25Speaker 2: I got you, and that's what I have to do.
- 13:28Speaker 2: That's how I did, all right.
- 13:31Speaker 1: I like a lesson for us all man. Yeah, thank
- 13:35Speaker 1: you guys. Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:38Speaker 1: we will hear from the nephew as he runs that
- 13:40Speaker 1: prank back right after this, you're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 22:27Speaker 1: now it is time to ask the clo. This is
- 22:31Speaker 1: from Arianna en bastrip. Ariana writes, my seven year old
- 22:35Speaker 1: told me that her teacher asked where I work because
- 22:38Speaker 1: my car is so nice. It's a small town and
- 22:41Speaker 1: everyone knows I keep money. Should I go talk to
- 22:45Speaker 1: his teacher or should I let her keep hating on
- 22:47Speaker 1: me and my nice new escalade.
- 22:52Speaker 2: Oh, I don't excuse me for a response. I'm about
- 23:01Speaker 2: the head. Don't make us mad.
- 23:04Speaker 7: I'm not gonna make none of y'all, man, what you
- 23:07Speaker 7: got to be in a very small town. If the
- 23:13Speaker 7: escalade is the top of the line vehicle rolling round,
- 23:17Speaker 7: that's all I'm saying. Ain't no, ain't nobody seen Lambeau
- 23:22Speaker 7: truck over there. Ain't nobody seen no Bent. Let anybody
- 23:25Speaker 7: see anybody's seen the new Mercedes truck. Ain't nobody seen
- 23:30Speaker 7: none of that. I'm just saying, if that is the
- 23:33Speaker 7: top of the line.
- 23:34Speaker 1: In your town, that's a rich answer, Steve, No, no, no,
- 23:49Speaker 1: I happened.
- 23:49Speaker 7: To own and escalade. Hello, and it is a wonderful truck.
- 23:59Speaker 7: And I have choice of getting any s u V
- 24:02Speaker 7: I wanted. Mm hm, I do have an escalade.
- 24:07Speaker 1: But you stand by your uh.
- 24:09Speaker 2: But what is you gonna go to the teacher about
- 24:13Speaker 2: say something else about my car? What she's gonna fail
- 24:18Speaker 2: you bite?
- 24:20Speaker 7: First of all, less if you bought the truck to flex, Yeah, hello,
- 24:27Speaker 7: now the.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Flex you got it? See you? If you didn't want
- 24:32Speaker 2: to be noticed, you wouldn't have bought the escalade, not on,
- 24:38Speaker 2: So now you know people.
- 24:39Speaker 1: Okay, next question, All right, we're moving on to Tim
- 24:42Speaker 1: and Vancouver. Tim, right, yes you did it was rich
- 24:50Speaker 1: at first?
- 24:51Speaker 2: All Yes, he did.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Tim and Vancouver said, I overheard my wife talking to
- 24:58Speaker 1: her dad on the phone, and she said that she
- 25:00Speaker 1: wished she waited to get married like her dad advised
- 25:04Speaker 1: her to. Tim says, I was crushed. I knew we've
- 25:06Speaker 1: had our issues, but I didn't know it was that bad.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Should I ask her about it? Wow?
- 25:12Speaker 2: She didn't told you what go on in there? And
- 25:15Speaker 2: ask her? She is that bad?
- 25:19Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 25:19Speaker 2: It is that bad?
- 25:20Speaker 7: Should she should I ask about it? I think you should.
- 25:24Speaker 7: I think you should. Hey, look, or heard you talking
- 25:27Speaker 7: to your father. I wasn't ill hustling, but I heard it.
- 25:32Speaker 7: I was hurt and disappointed. Can we talk? What can
- 25:36Speaker 7: I do to make this better for you? Because I
- 25:39Speaker 7: really didn't know. I knew we had some issues, but
- 25:41Speaker 7: I know it was at this level. I think we
- 25:43Speaker 7: should have a conversation if you're willing to. You know
- 25:47Speaker 7: that what she was doing with her father might have
- 25:49Speaker 7: been a cry for help. So I go on it
- 25:51Speaker 7: none and had that conversation. Or you can wait on
- 25:54Speaker 7: them papers to come. I don't wait that long.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Both ways, dog, I'm talk you wit on papers, because
- 26:04Speaker 2: how are you gonna do it? Either way? Either way?
- 26:06Speaker 2: You the way he might be your.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Paper, Tim, get it together, Tim and Vancouver all right?
- 26:16Speaker 1: Moving on to Dynasty. In Houston, Dynasty writes, I'm living
- 26:21Speaker 1: with a man that's still married and his wife knows
- 26:23Speaker 1: about me. She won't sign divorce papers because she wants
- 26:27Speaker 1: to stay on his insurance so her upcoming back surgery
- 26:31Speaker 1: is covered. Am I a fool for allowing him to
- 26:33Speaker 1: keep supporting her?
- 26:38Speaker 10: Whoa?
- 26:40Speaker 7: Am I a fool for letting him? It's his wife
- 26:44Speaker 7: for you? Ain't You ain't letting nothing?
- 26:49Speaker 2: You live with the man.
- 26:50Speaker 7: Who's not divorced, who won't sign the papers because she
- 26:53Speaker 7: need his insurance to get the back surgery.
- 26:56Speaker 2: She ain't signing nothing to that surgery, right, And what
- 27:00Speaker 2: you're tripping for?
- 27:02Speaker 7: She don't even want him. Yes, she wants the surgery. Yeah,
- 27:08Speaker 7: and based on my back and what type of surgery
- 27:11Speaker 7: does she have? Uncus she got a wide back to.
- 27:21Speaker 2: How do you get that? What's that girl used to date?
- 27:27Speaker 2: We met her and he got mad at me one
- 27:37Speaker 2: time because I called a slam. Oh yeah you did?
- 27:42Speaker 9: Yeah yeah.
- 27:43Speaker 2: She came to the hoodies one year and had on
- 27:45Speaker 2: the hall to the top and I called a slam.
- 27:50Speaker 2: We're moving on the hoodies.
- 28:00Speaker 1: We missed him, all right, last one, Steve, This is
- 28:02Speaker 1: the last run. This is from Rikia and Queen's. Rikia writes,
- 28:06Speaker 1: my husband installed cameras all over the house, and I
- 28:10Speaker 1: reposition them when I'm in the kitchen or if I'm
- 28:13Speaker 1: in the den, and he hates it. I don't want
- 28:16Speaker 1: him watching me while I'm inside the house. Are the
- 28:18Speaker 1: cameras for security or because he doesn't trust me?
- 28:22Speaker 2: Either way? What you moved him forward? For what you're doing.
- 28:26Speaker 1: She doesn't want him in what you what you doing
- 28:29Speaker 1: in the kitchen, she's cooking and she turned around.
- 28:32Speaker 2: She see that camera.
- 28:34Speaker 1: She does not want him watching. It's getting what she's doing.
- 28:37Speaker 2: It's a bit much dog in the kitchen.
- 28:40Speaker 7: And she can't watch him in the den camera. It's
- 28:43Speaker 7: getting on her nerves, all right, Want somebody break in.
- 28:47Speaker 7: We ain't gonna know now your camera show on the.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Side in refrigerator.
- 28:50Speaker 7: Okay, we got all right? Take him a flash, breathe
- 28:59Speaker 7: down off that wall in that DN and you send
- 29:01Speaker 7: up here. You on the picture in the back of
- 29:02Speaker 7: your reclining.
- 29:05Speaker 1: But her question is just that is are the cameras
- 29:08Speaker 1: for security or does he not trust her? She's suspicious
- 29:12Speaker 1: of it.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Lady.
- 29:14Speaker 7: First of all, it's not to trust if you haven't
- 29:17Speaker 7: done anything, or you ain't doing nothing, what's the problem?
- 29:20Speaker 1: Like she doesn't like it.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Would you do it at the house, though? Would you
- 29:27Speaker 2: do it.
- 29:30Speaker 9: To do.
- 29:32Speaker 7: I'm just telling you, right, yeah, I'm on fielm in
- 29:36Speaker 7: here all the time. I'm just I'm just trying to.
- 29:41Speaker 2: And I get around here. We got cameras. You can't
- 29:45Speaker 2: I mean, I mean, but it's for security.
- 29:48Speaker 1: But so are you ever naked in the house?
- 29:51Speaker 10: Well?
- 29:51Speaker 2: Yeah, all the time? Run the tape back is walking.
- 29:59Speaker 2: My wife should be out the country talking about She
- 30:01Speaker 2: said I'd get a text. I did, all right, now
- 30:06Speaker 2: a text?
- 30:10Speaker 1: All right, guys, coming up at the top of the hour.
- 30:13Speaker 2: Thank you.

- 30:43Speaker 1: in Hollywood back in twenty twenty one. He turned down
- 30:47Speaker 1: a plea deal Rocky did from prosecutors last month. He

- 31:08Speaker 1: thank you for saving my life. So congratulations to that
- 31:14Speaker 1: whole family.
- 31:17Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, look that's that's uh I mean, I mean,
- 31:21Speaker 7: listen to this. The prosecutors offered him a deal. See
- 31:26Speaker 7: they're so busy on keeping a record clean and pristine.
- 31:31Speaker 7: They will take an innocent man and offer you something
- 31:36Speaker 7: just so they could say they won the case. No
- 31:38Speaker 7: interest in justice or whether this young brother is innocent
- 31:42Speaker 7: or not. Now here's the deal. Take this plea deal,
- 31:46Speaker 7: and and and and and our record is good, knowing
- 31:50Speaker 7: knowing they didn't have a strong case. But that young
- 31:53Speaker 7: brother stood to it and said, no, man, I ain't now,
- 31:56Speaker 7: I ain't taking no plea deal. Because his boy was
- 31:58Speaker 7: trying to flex on him for some money.
- 32:01Speaker 2: Man. Yeah, that's what they said. And you're gonna sue
- 32:05Speaker 2: for some money. Your boy.
- 32:07Speaker 1: So grateful.
- 32:09Speaker 2: No that brother, man, that's a good move.
- 32:11Speaker 1: I'm happy for Rihanna was there.
- 32:13Speaker 10: Uh huh.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Yeah. He ain't gonna do nothing close to wrong ever. Again, brother,
- 32:19Speaker 2: this is nothing thing close to wrong. Brother.
- 32:22Speaker 7: Moments like this you saw off to Snoop, Calvin Brothers
- 32:25Speaker 7: was on trial. Snoop went over and set his ass
- 32:28Speaker 7: down somewhere. Let's take all these flags off and quick tiny,
- 32:32Speaker 7: you know, Bandana's own and all this hit.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Let me matter of fact, let me go on over
- 32:37Speaker 2: here in hollywod Martha.
- 32:40Speaker 3: Walk the steward.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, all right, moving on, and other news
- 32:47Speaker 1: were all so relieved that all seventy six passengers and
- 32:51Speaker 1: four crew members on on board Delta flight forty eight
- 32:54Speaker 1: nineteen from Minneapolis to Toronto were safely evacuated. According to
- 32:59Speaker 1: People Maggots, the jet caught fire and flipped upside down
- 33:03Speaker 1: upon landing at Toronto's Pearson International Airport on February seventeenth.
- 33:08Speaker 1: The seat belts were key. The seat belts, ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:11Speaker 1: were key to everyone's safe evacuation on the flight and
- 33:15Speaker 1: no fatalities. This is according to Sarah Nelson, president of
- 33:18Speaker 1: the Association of Flight Attendants. One of the passengers recalled
- 33:22Speaker 1: everyone hanging upside down like bats from the ceiling of
- 33:27Speaker 1: the cabin. Can you imagine that, stee if you even
- 33:30Speaker 1: talked about that yesterday after the play off the air
- 33:34Speaker 1: after the plane had rolled onto its back on the tarmac,
- 33:37Speaker 1: the people were hanging upside down like bats in the airplane.
- 33:41Speaker 1: Flight attendants and ABS eighty did you have.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Your seat belt all? That would have been a catastrophe.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Yes, yes, it would have.
- 33:49Speaker 10: Yes.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:50Speaker 1: The flight attendants and AVX aviation experts both agreed wearing
- 33:55Speaker 1: your seat belt during a flight could save your life.
- 33:59Speaker 1: So all wear your seat belt when you're on a flight, okay.
- 34:03Speaker 1: The AA confirmed in a statement that the Transportation Safety
- 34:07Speaker 1: Board of Canada will be in charge of the investigation
- 34:10Speaker 1: and will provide any updates.
- 34:13Speaker 7: Hey, you know what America really needs, though that they did,
- 34:17Speaker 7: They don't have an extensive enough rail system for trains,
- 34:22Speaker 7: Like in Europe you can go all across Europe on
- 34:25Speaker 7: the train.
- 34:27Speaker 2: They don't have that in the US.
- 34:28Speaker 7: You know, it would be nice to take a train
- 34:31Speaker 7: to the south and stuff like that came through every
- 34:34Speaker 7: They don't have that, you know, I mean, I mean
- 34:36Speaker 7: not passenger commercial oatation. Listen, you're saying, Monica, they have Amtrak,
- 34:46Speaker 7: but it's not extensive. You don't go to enough cities
- 34:49Speaker 7: and places. That's what I'm saying, trying to say, montrail
- 34:53Speaker 7: modern day, it's.
- 34:54Speaker 2: A great way to travel.
- 34:56Speaker 9: Man.
- 34:56Speaker 2: When we used to go from New York to DC
- 34:58Speaker 2: all the time on the train, ain't it was simple?
- 35:00Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 35:01Speaker 2: First place? I mean it would it would it would do,
- 35:04Speaker 2: it would do.
- 35:04Speaker 1: If we had that.
- 35:05Speaker 2: We don't have that over there. It's not extensive. That
- 35:09Speaker 2: would take those flight prices down for sure.
- 35:13Speaker 7: From if you could go to Atlanta to Miami on trains,
- 35:16Speaker 7: that'd be dope, Yes, sir, modern all that.
- 35:23Speaker 2: Now, I tell you who does travel extensively. I know
- 35:26Speaker 2: all this. I knew every Greyhound trailway route. I think
- 35:35Speaker 2: we all did. Y'all did it like me though? You
- 35:40Speaker 2: know that was my mode of transportation, especially when they
- 35:43Speaker 2: took that car back.
- 35:44Speaker 1: God what it got repossessed?
- 35:48Speaker 2: God? I kept that car for three years man, without
- 35:51Speaker 2: paying a note.
- 35:53Speaker 1: Have they caught up with you?
- 35:55Speaker 2: You be damn all right?
- 36:02Speaker 1: Moving on?

- 36:11Speaker 1: got a BBL. People are talking about this. She's from Memphis.
- 36:15Speaker 1: She admits that she did get some shots, but they
- 36:18Speaker 1: aren't the ones you're thinking. She says, I've been seeing
- 36:21Speaker 1: everyone with all the BBL allegations and I want to
- 36:24Speaker 1: come on here and be honest. So I didn't get
- 36:26Speaker 1: a BBL, but I did get some quote discipline shots.
- 36:32Speaker 1: So I got them inserted right here and right here.
- 36:34Speaker 1: She started pointing to her temples, and you know, they
- 36:38Speaker 1: just flow all the way through my brain. Just a
- 36:40Speaker 1: few shots of discipline and that's it. And that's how
- 36:43Speaker 1: you're going to get a fat But okay, but I ain't.
- 36:47Speaker 1: I ain't get no BBL. That's what Glorilla said. Glow

- 47:10Speaker 10: if it's possible I can get you to come to
- 47:12Speaker 10: the store. There's a bit of a situation I want
- 47:15Speaker 10: to discuss with you. There's about eighteen hundred dollars worth
- 47:18Speaker 10: of merchandise missing from the store. Yeah, it's about eighteen
- 47:23Speaker 10: hundred dollars worth of merchandise. And we definitely know that
- 47:26Speaker 10: this is a in house situation. This is not someone
- 47:29Speaker 10: walking in shoplifting. This is definitely an in house situation
- 47:34Speaker 10: with employees who have evidently been shoplifting from the store,
- 47:38Speaker 10: taking things, and we want to get down.
- 47:40Speaker 2: To the roots of the problem.
- 47:42Speaker 10: Okay, so what you call well, ma'am, it's it's been
- 47:46Speaker 10: brought to my attention that there's a possibility that you

- 47:52Speaker 2: Part of this situation.
- 47:53Speaker 6: And out of the.
- 47:54Speaker 12: Situation, I ain't no, I don't steal. You don't call

- 48:19Speaker 10: The footage that we have on camera that uh, it's
- 48:22Speaker 10: a possibility that it seems like your sister's actually wearing
- 48:26Speaker 10: some of the merchandise that we sell here in the store.
- 48:29Speaker 12: Okay, just because she wears something that we sell in
- 48:32Speaker 12: the store, don't mean that I stole it.
- 48:35Speaker 10: Well, we don't see where she's at. I've backed the
- 48:39Speaker 10: footage up as far as I could. I don't see
- 48:41Speaker 10: any footage of where she purchased this particular merchandise. And
- 48:45Speaker 10: my assumption is maybe you gave it to her.
- 48:48Speaker 12: I ain't gave her And just because you don't see
- 48:51Speaker 12: where somebody purchased it, don't mean that it's been stolen.
- 48:54Speaker 10: Okay, here's what I'm gonna get. I'm gonna just get
- 48:56Speaker 10: to the chase of this, Tanya. What I'm gonna have
- 48:58Speaker 10: to do is this if I can't get you to
- 49:01Speaker 10: come to the store, ma'am. And matter of fact, here's
- 49:04Speaker 10: another question for you before I go any further. You
- 49:06Speaker 10: have children at Tanya.
- 49:09Speaker 12: Yeah, I got children.
- 49:10Speaker 10: Why do you Is it possible? Because I'm missing a
- 49:14Speaker 10: lot of baby merchandise as well?
- 49:17Speaker 12: And you know what, you know what you really cruising
- 49:21Speaker 12: for this morning? Okay, because you don't call somebody on

- 56:15Speaker 2: It could be yours.
- 56:15Speaker 10: Buckle up and hold on, type we got it for
- 56:17Speaker 10: you here it is strawberry letter, all.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Right if you thank you. Subject. My husband doesn't respect
- 56:24Speaker 1: my feelings. Dear Stephen Shirley. I've been married to my
- 56:27Speaker 1: husband for thirty five years and I still can't get
- 56:31Speaker 1: him to respect my feelings. He has a hard time
- 56:33Speaker 1: dealing with the fact that I am as knowledgeable, if
- 56:37Speaker 1: not more knowledgeable, about some things when it comes down
- 56:40Speaker 1: to running our business. We are electricians and we have
- 56:43Speaker 1: a strong client base. I have been a certified electrician
- 56:46Speaker 1: for thirty years, and I encouraged my husband to get
- 56:50Speaker 1: licensed and start the business. I get very irritated when
- 56:53Speaker 1: he tells people that it's his business. He told me
- 56:56Speaker 1: that it puts clients at ease to know that a
- 56:59Speaker 1: man will be the one leading on the electrical job.
- 57:03Speaker 1: That's disrespectful to me, and I can't get him to
- 57:05Speaker 1: stop downplaying my role. Let's say, for instance, if a
- 57:08Speaker 1: customer inquires about a service they asked to speak to
- 57:11Speaker 1: the electrician. My husband immediately responds to the messages personally
- 57:17Speaker 1: if the customer is female. He said that women prefer
- 57:20Speaker 1: a male during their electrical work, not a female. He
- 57:24Speaker 1: won't let me go on jobs with him he told
- 57:26Speaker 1: me that he prefers to work alone. That's hurtful. I
- 57:29Speaker 1: can't even ride along with him in the truck that
- 57:32Speaker 1: I pay for monthly. I changed the password on the
- 57:35Speaker 1: website so he couldn't see when clients inquire about service.
- 57:39Speaker 1: I booked a job and when I showed up, the
- 57:41Speaker 1: female said that she was expecting fad my husband. I
- 57:46Speaker 1: told her to go find another electrician and I left.
- 57:49Speaker 1: He said that I ran off a loyal customer over
- 57:52Speaker 1: my ego, but he would have been mad too if
- 57:55Speaker 1: a male customer did him like that. I'm tired of
- 57:58Speaker 1: how he treats me. Why can't he respects my feelings
- 58:02Speaker 1: because he's a hater, plain and simple. I agree with you.
- 58:06Speaker 1: Your husband doesn't respect you. He should be proud of
- 58:08Speaker 1: you and your accomplishments. He should be celebrating you. This
- 58:12Speaker 1: is not traditionally a woman's profession, being becoming an electrician.
- 58:18Speaker 1: But you've been an electrician for thirty years and you
- 58:21Speaker 1: guys have a successful business. You said you have a
- 58:24Speaker 1: strong client base. Even other male electricians respect you, I'm sure,
- 58:29Speaker 1: and your husband should do the same. He should be
- 58:31Speaker 1: supportive and not controlling and putting you down. You guys
- 58:34Speaker 1: can try to work through this. I don't know. It's
- 58:36Speaker 1: been thirty five years, you said, since he hasn't respected you,
- 58:40Speaker 1: But I don't know. It's been going on for so
- 58:44Speaker 1: long it's almost too late for sure. If he doesn't stop,
- 58:48Speaker 1: you guys will end up breaking up and splitting up
- 58:50Speaker 1: the business, doing some type of buyout situation. But here's
- 58:54Speaker 1: a question for you. Besides all the nastiness and the
- 58:56Speaker 1: putdowns from him, do you also suspect your husband sad
- 59:00Speaker 1: as she calls him of sleeping with her. She was
- 59:03Speaker 1: a little too familiar for my taste, and I just
- 59:06Speaker 1: got to ask you, what do you think? Do you
- 59:08Speaker 1: suspect anything?
- 59:10Speaker 7: Uh?
- 59:10Speaker 10: Huh? Bad?
- 59:13Speaker 1: Could that be why he prefers to work alone as
- 59:16Speaker 1: so as he so rudely told you what Steve, listen,
- 59:22Speaker 1: I think you're obviously the brains of this operation. The
- 59:26Speaker 1: only ego that needs to be checked as your husband bad.
- 59:30Speaker 1: I don't like how he treats you either, but it's
- 59:33Speaker 1: no sense in going behind his back changing the password
- 59:35Speaker 1: on the website. I think that's bad for business too.
- 59:38Speaker 1: I think you guys need to deal with the real
- 59:40Speaker 1: issue here, and that is his problem. With you and
- 59:43Speaker 1: your credentials and all of that. He's trying to push
- 59:45Speaker 1: you out of the business, and that you helped him
- 59:48Speaker 1: start and build this marriage, and your business is in
- 59:51Speaker 1: trouble or it's over, Steve, And what were you saying?
- 59:57Speaker 2: Well, I didn't know when leta you thought that he
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: was cheating?
- 1:00:03Speaker 6: Uh huh uh.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: The woman she was expecting thatad.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Bad is her husband's name, that was a customer.
- 1:00:13Speaker 7: If she had enough took the name off the website,
- 1:00:17Speaker 7: she would have known it was already an existing customer.
- 1:00:20Speaker 7: So she went over there. Now, let me tell you something.
- 1:00:23Speaker 7: I ain't never been electrician, but I know a couple
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: of them. Okay, how is your house wirt? Where you
- 1:00:29Speaker 7: got a regular electrician that come over?
- 1:00:33Speaker 14: What?
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: How is your house wiat? Boy?
- 1:00:38Speaker 7: You got a regular electrician that come over. I got
- 1:00:42Speaker 7: a lot of regular people, like people that do the
- 1:00:44Speaker 7: yard and stuff.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: Y'all got that.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Yeah, But the.
- 1:00:46Speaker 7: Electrician I don't even know. I can't tell you his name.
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: I've seen him over here a couple of times, but
- 1:00:58Speaker 7: not enough to get I know his name. The whole
- 1:01:03Speaker 7: problem in this letter is we can't help you. My
- 1:01:07Speaker 7: husband don't respect your feeling you've been married for thirty
- 1:01:10Speaker 7: five years and still can't get him to respect my
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: feeling or what you want.
- 1:01:14Speaker 9: Us to do.
- 1:01:15Speaker 7: In the letter, you've been thirty five years of disrespect
- 1:01:22Speaker 7: because you have allowed it.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Listen, I say this all the time.
- 1:01:28Speaker 7: You can train a man how to treat you with Steve,
- 1:01:31Speaker 7: how you treat train a man how to treat you
- 1:01:34Speaker 7: by stop accepting bad behavior. We can only give you
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: what you take. We can only hand out what you tolerate.
- 1:01:44Speaker 7: If you don't take it, we can't give it to you,
- 1:01:47Speaker 7: and if you don't tolerate it, we got to stop it.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: But you have allowed this to go on for thirty
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: five years, and y'all.
- 1:01:59Speaker 7: Got the business together that you changing past codes on
- 1:02:03Speaker 7: y'all stupid, y'all missing business.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: He don't want you to work with you. He don't
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: want to ride with you. Damn. He don't even want
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: to ride with you to work.
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: Let's go on this job to get huh. Hell No,
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: I don't know what to tell you, lady. I really don't.
- 1:02:25Speaker 7: When we come back, I'm gonna try hard, but I
- 1:02:29Speaker 7: don't think I'm gonna go even help you.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: All right, Steve, hang on, we'll have Part two of
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: your response coming up at twenty three minutes after the hour.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: Today Strawberry Letters, subject my husband doesn't respect my feelings.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: We'll get back into it right after this. You're listening
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:02:51Speaker 7: Hey, look, you can't let the urge to sing your
- 1:02:53Speaker 7: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that truck
- 1:02:57Speaker 7: drifting toward your lane or that lane splitting biker creeping
- 1:03:01Speaker 7: up beside you. Fortunately, every Hundai offers advanced safety features
- 1:03:06Speaker 7: that can alert you to potential dangers around you.
- 1:03:08Speaker 10: That's right, because Hondai is always working to ensure the
- 1:03:11Speaker 10: road doesn't get you.
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: Hondai vehicles have won over one hundred and twenty.
- 1:03:15Speaker 10: IIHS Top Safety awards from two thousand and six to
- 1:03:18Speaker 10: twenty twenty four as of December twenty twenty four.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: All right, Steve, come on, let's recap today's Strawberry letter.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: The subject is my husband doesn't respect my feeling.
- 1:03:30Speaker 7: Simplely put, I have been married to my husband thirty
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: five years and still can't get him respect, no feeling.
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: So what do you want us to do in this letter?
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: In thirty five years, you just shed meals with him?
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: Y'all have been on trips together, and y'all sleep together.
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: If you can't get a man to do right after that,
- 1:03:49Speaker 7: I got nothing for you. I've really been a though. Now, Okay,
- 1:03:56Speaker 7: it's a hard time dealing with he has a hard
- 1:03:58Speaker 7: time dealing with the fact that I'm as knowledgeable, if
- 1:04:02Speaker 7: not more knowledgeable, about some things when it comes down
- 1:04:05Speaker 7: to running our business. Okay, that could be very true.
- 1:04:10Speaker 7: We are electricians and we have a strong client base.
- 1:04:13Speaker 7: I've been a certified electrician for thirty years, and I
- 1:04:16Speaker 7: encourage my husband to get license and start the business.
- 1:04:20Speaker 7: I get very irritated when he tells people it's his business.
- 1:04:24Speaker 7: He told me that it puts clients at ease to
- 1:04:26Speaker 7: know that a man would be on leading the electrical job.
- 1:04:30Speaker 7: Now listen to me get married to a chawfiness. Okay, clearly,
- 1:04:37Speaker 7: and I let me just read this letter from the
- 1:04:41Speaker 7: standpoint of the average dude.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Just read this letter.
- 1:04:46Speaker 9: Now.
- 1:04:46Speaker 7: I want your ladies perk up, because I want you
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: to see what a man is reading this letter. This

- 1:05:35Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:05:37Speaker 7: He told me that he puts clients at ease to

- 1:05:41Speaker 7: the electrical job.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: On that night woman had that lot my electrics.

- 1:05:57Speaker 7: You don't really do that, stop uh No, that's Let's say,
- 1:06:07Speaker 7: for instance, if a customer requires about a service, they

- 1:06:13Speaker 7: to the message person well, ain't I electrician?
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: You don't have the experience.

- 1:06:22Speaker 2: You are? Okay, they asked to speak to the electrician.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: I called it. I told you they don't want a
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: woman to.
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: Read.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: My husband immediate response.
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: If the customer is female, he said that women prefer
- 1:06:37Speaker 7: a male doing the electrical work, notut a female.

- 1:06:57Speaker 13: Should?
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: No, I've never had a caller.
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: Have you ever had a female electrician come here?

- 1:07:18Speaker 9: I.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: Surely if a female came in I'd welcome her exactly.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: But they don't.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Because that's not a normal traditional.
- 1:07:29Speaker 7: Let me ask you, so, when the man, when the

- 1:07:55Speaker 2: On Well, don't like working with you.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: That's rude.

- 1:08:06Speaker 2: He don't respect how I told you.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: He doesn't want anything.
- 1:08:11Speaker 7: That's hurtful. Yes, because I be wanting to go. I
- 1:08:15Speaker 7: can't even ride along with him in the truck that
- 1:08:17Speaker 7: I paid for.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: Monkey. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, where you going? I
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: got my gun right here on his arm.
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: She's been an electrician for thirty years. Put some respect
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: on that. How about that?
- 1:08:31Speaker 7: He don't exactly you just told you to be married
- 1:08:35Speaker 7: thirty four years. He don't respect me. I changed the
- 1:08:38Speaker 7: password on the website so he couldn't see what clients
- 1:08:41Speaker 7: inquired about service. I booked a job, and when I
- 1:08:46Speaker 7: showed up, the female said she was expecting that now
- 1:08:50Speaker 7: that that had this regular customer.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: Wait, whoa hold up? Now, who are you? You don't

- 1:11:31Speaker 7: Oh he can get down the flow. Oh, he can
- 1:11:35Speaker 7: get down the flow. He had a ball with him.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: About that right now.
- 1:11:43Speaker 8: In other news, Kyrie Irvin wants to play for the
- 1:11:46Speaker 8: national Australian basketball team in the twenty twenty eight Olympics.
- 1:11:49Speaker 8: He was left off the roster for the twenty twenty
- 1:11:51Speaker 8: four Olympics in Paris and in Tokyo in twenty twenty.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: So he's filing this paperwork now he gonna play for Australia.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: He's not gonna play for the.
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: You gonna be a dude.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: He's switching up. I love Kyrie.
- 1:12:06Speaker 8: Yeah, so he's not gonna do that. But also up
- 1:12:09Speaker 8: now here we go. Travis Kelce in the NFL is
- 1:12:11Speaker 8: struggled with retirement. Can't say. The Chiefs has given him
- 1:12:14Speaker 8: until March fourteenth to make the decision if he's gonna
- 1:12:17Speaker 8: come back and play for the Chiefs in a role
- 1:12:20Speaker 8: player position, not as the star.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: Now that's off the bench.
- 1:12:25Speaker 8: Yeah, that's not do you do you leave now while
- 1:12:29Speaker 8: at the top of your game, right now.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: Do you leave?
- 1:12:30Speaker 7: I mean, you know that loss to that Super Bowl.
- 1:12:34Speaker 7: I saw his face. He wasn't doing dude, he was
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: not handling it way. Yeah, and you know, I don't know, man,
- 1:12:48Speaker 7: I don't I don't care.
- 1:12:49Speaker 2: When he got all the records, you got everything, he got.
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: The ring, he could pretend care, pretend.
- 1:12:59Speaker 7: You know, to see Taylor continue to come into the games. No, no,
- 1:13:05Speaker 7: she's such a shot. I don't first see that. I
- 1:13:12Speaker 7: don't understand. I saw his former girlfriend.
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: All right, ju thank you.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Coming up at the top of the hour, Steve, a
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: woman needs some advice about a home DNA test and
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: how it revealed a family secret. Uh, we'll talk about
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: it right after this. You're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: Morning Show. See this is from Jay on Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: Jay says a DNA test I took for fun revealed
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: that my father isn't my biological dad. I also found
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: out that I have half siblings I never knew about,
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: and they're eager to connect. My mom and dad are
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: both elderly, and they don't know how I took the test.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Should I push for a full truth or just let
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: sleeping dogs lie. Jay's question, well, how will.
- 1:14:02Speaker 7: It affect your elderly parents? When you say elderly, I
- 1:14:05Speaker 7: don't know how old you mean, So I mean how
- 1:14:08Speaker 7: will it affect them? Sometimes, man, you got to look
- 1:14:12Speaker 7: at your life. Did you have a good life? Did
- 1:14:14Speaker 7: you come from a good family where you loved? I
- 1:14:16Speaker 7: ain't no need to turn around hating them, getting mad
- 1:14:19Speaker 7: at that because they didn't tell you something. You know,
- 1:14:22Speaker 7: they might not have known. You might mess your daddy
- 1:14:25Speaker 7: up because your daddy had been treating you like you here.
- 1:14:28Speaker 7: Now you go in there telling daddy you ain't my
- 1:14:30Speaker 7: real daddy?
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: What?
- 1:14:34Speaker 7: Because I'm gonna start tolding all this money out of spend.
- 1:14:36Speaker 7: I'm gonna be trying to figure out why is.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: You in here?
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: And he just took the DNA test for fun?
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: Yeah it's not.
- 1:14:43Speaker 7: Really I mean yeah, yeah, that ain't your real daddy
- 1:14:47Speaker 7: and all that. That's not a smart move. I wouldn't, no, man,
- 1:14:52Speaker 7: just let I leave it alone a lot of earth.
- 1:14:55Speaker 7: All it's gonna lead to is disappointment because if that
- 1:14:58Speaker 7: ain't your daddy, then who is is?
- 1:15:00Speaker 9: Now?
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: You got to go find his ragging hand. Yeah, he's
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: gonna be old too.
- 1:15:07Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Yeah, a lot of people do want to do that,
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: and they have that something inside of them that makes
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: them want to search for their real parents. All right,
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: we have time for another one. This is HG on Reddit.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: HG says my new neighbors installed security cameras that have
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: a clear view of my backyard pool and my teenage
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: daughter's bedroom window. When I asked them to adjust the angles,
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: they accused me of being paranoid and claimed it's their
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: right to protect their property. I call the police, but
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: the police said it's a civil matter and they can't help.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: So what are my options? That's what HG wants to know.
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: I keep shoot, Nick, you're not gonna have no camera
- 1:15:55Speaker 7: aimed at my daughter's one. That's what you're not gonna do.
- 1:15:58Speaker 9: No.
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: Yeah, And you're gonna get your camera out my damn
- 1:16:02Speaker 7: swimming pool. I'm gonna give you a show in that pool.
- 1:16:05Speaker 7: I'm gonna give you something to look at.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Yeah, protect your house. What does my house have to
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: do with your house?
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: That camera? Oh, my daughter's room partner. I don't know
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: what you're up to, but you're gonna get on up
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: to it.
- 1:16:18Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's too much. Yeah, Yeah, I got I got
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: some partners, man. Uh huh, that's you know.
- 1:16:29Speaker 7: What, it's really not damn, it's you know, because they're
- 1:16:31Speaker 7: older now, so they don't really do that work no more.
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: But they people do that. Well, I may have somebody
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: come talk to you. Everybody still got somebody that'll come
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: talk to you. Yeah, you bet. I bet you this
- 1:16:48Speaker 2: evening that camera that's aimed at my daughter, wouldn't I
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: bet you be looking in your grass somewhere? I bet there.
- 1:16:56Speaker 7: I know, brother, brother, I've always kept the people close.
- 1:17:01Speaker 7: I never forgot him. They ain't never forgotten me.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: So we still cool.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: Give us a name, just one name that your friends
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: have names?
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: Oh you know all of them, Shelly. But my main
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: got Biggie Wig. Give me I can give you his name.
- 1:17:15Speaker 7: Okay, yeah, big ain't never been to prison. I don't
- 1:17:19Speaker 7: even I don't even know how. I swear to God,
- 1:17:26Speaker 7: I don't even know how that happened.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: Legend in the game.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Okay, have you talked to him lately?
- 1:17:37Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I talked to him a long time.
- 1:17:40Speaker 15: Know what's man? Just trying to hard at you. Man,
- 1:17:42Speaker 15: make sure you don't need nothing. I didn't treat you
- 1:17:44Speaker 15: out there. Say everything good, being good. Let me know
- 1:17:47Speaker 15: if something needs some dady. But I tell you know,
- 1:17:49Speaker 15: I still walk the walk. You know, he says stuff
- 1:17:55Speaker 15: to you like that, you go, I still walk the walk. Okay,
- 1:18:00Speaker 15: I appreciate that call.
- 1:18:01Speaker 9: Man.
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: You know, I gave him a call one time.
- 1:18:03Speaker 12: Uh huh huh.
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: And I gave him a V twelve Mercedes.
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: Okay, all right, right, okay, all right. Coming up in
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have more of the
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Right after this. You're listening to
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: the Steve Harvey Morning Show. On Monday, President's Day, groups
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: opposed to President Trump and his top advisor Elon Musk
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: rallied nationwide with slogans like not My President's Day and
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: No King's Day. The protests, led by a fifty five
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: oh one movement, were fueled by concerns about the erosion
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: of constitutional rights. We witness with growing alarm how our
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: constitutional rights are trampled upon, the group said. Thousands protested
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: outside the US capital, chanting this is what democracy looks like,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: while others rally, while other rallies in New York, Texas
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: and Colorado to cry Trump and Musk influence with chance
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: like no one elected Elon Musk, and Elon Musk has
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: got to go. Who Yeah, yeah, Steve, I mean you know.
- 1:19:13Speaker 2: This who y'all voted for.
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: And they keep trumpeting that on Fox and they keep
- 1:19:19Speaker 7: saying that, you know, because on cn N they always
- 1:19:21Speaker 7: have a Republican strategist and it keeps reminding them this
- 1:19:26Speaker 7: is who, this is what the American people want. By
- 1:19:29Speaker 7: five million people more wanted this type of president, and
- 1:19:33Speaker 7: they did, and now they have it. And I don't
- 1:19:36Speaker 7: think they understand the sweep that's coming because he don't
- 1:19:41Speaker 7: care about the common man.
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: He's not.
- 1:19:43Speaker 7: Now he just passed this in virtual fertilization, he signed
- 1:19:47Speaker 7: in to make that easier for women to be able
- 1:19:49Speaker 7: to do that.
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: But that's all all right.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: We're moving on. Coming up at thirty three minutes after
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: the hour, we'll play another round of would you rather?
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: Right after this you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 1:20:06Speaker 7: favorite songs while you're driving distract you from that truck
- 1:20:10Speaker 7: drifting toward your lane or that lane splitting biker creeping
- 1:20:14Speaker 7: up beside you. Fortunately, every Honday offers advanced safety features
- 1:20:19Speaker 7: that can alert you to potential dangers around you.

- 1:20:24Speaker 10: road doesn't get you. Hondai vehicles have one over one
- 1:20:27Speaker 10: hundred and twenty IIHS Top Safety Awards from two thousand
- 1:20:31Speaker 10: and six to twenty twenty four as of December twenty
- 1:20:34Speaker 10: twenty four.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: It is time now for a round of would you rather,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: Let's just get right to it. Would you rather play
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: one on one with Steph Curry or Lebron James out
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: the gate?
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: You mean I play against them? Yeah?
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: One on one with Steph Curry or Lebron.
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: These embarrassing questions. I don't play against Steph Curry.
- 1:20:55Speaker 7: Here we got because I might accidentally get in front
- 1:20:59Speaker 7: of Lebron at my ass, tramples.
- 1:21:04Speaker 2: My slow ass. Don't get out the way.
- 1:21:07Speaker 7: He jumping and wiping my mustache off with his watch
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: and all this, he all.
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: This, he dunking every damn playing.
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: Yeah, he is the king.
- 1:21:22Speaker 7: K I just I just be like to take out
- 1:21:25Speaker 7: man for Steff. He shoot the three, I get to rebound,
- 1:21:27Speaker 7: throw it right back out to it?
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: All right, that's all right? Would you rather? Would you
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: rather be a legendary basketball coach or player.
- 1:21:39Speaker 7: Which one coach Tommy, Yeahil Jackson, I got Wait what
- 1:21:46Speaker 7: I got?
- 1:21:46Speaker 2: No shot? He realized it's quickly.

- 1:24:02Speaker 1: driving around all over town and your schedule is packed

- 1:24:54Speaker 1: twenty five Nissan Morano today. Ambient lighting and boas are
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: optional features. Here we are, guys, our last break of
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: the day and Steve, I know you have some words
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: of wisdom to take us out.
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: Yeah, you know.
- 1:25:10Speaker 7: I've often asked how I got to where I am.
- 1:25:14Speaker 7: I always give credit to God for that. I'm often
- 1:25:20Speaker 7: asked if I wasn't doing this, what would I do?
- 1:25:25Speaker 7: I'm often asked how does it feel to be in
- 1:25:28Speaker 7: the position that I'm in. I get oftentimes asked, what
- 1:25:32Speaker 7: would you suggest for me as a way to acquire
- 1:25:36Speaker 7: the things in life I want? I'm often asked so
- 1:25:39Speaker 7: many questions from so many angles. The one consistent thing
- 1:25:44Speaker 7: I know, if you have any desire to be successful
- 1:25:48Speaker 7: or happy, whatever it is you decide to do, if
- 1:25:51Speaker 7: you decide to change, if you decide to do more,
- 1:25:54Speaker 7: be more, understand one thing. It's going to be hard.
- 1:26:00Speaker 7: I think you have to put that thought process together
- 1:26:02Speaker 7: in your mind. I think you have to start thinking
- 1:26:03Speaker 7: about it in terms of that because a lot of
- 1:26:05Speaker 7: times people, when you look at Instagram and social.
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: Media, it looks easy.
- 1:26:10Speaker 10: It ain't.
- 1:26:12Speaker 7: They It's easy to take a picture with the right angle,
- 1:26:15Speaker 7: with the right light, with the right filter, with the
- 1:26:18Speaker 7: right bag, with the right car, with the right house,
- 1:26:21Speaker 7: with the right poles, with the right makeup.
- 1:26:24Speaker 2: That's easy, But really being that that would be hard.
- 1:26:29Speaker 7: And everybody you see portraying that ain't really that because
- 1:26:34Speaker 7: they didn't put in the stuff behind it. See, what
- 1:26:36Speaker 7: you don't know is that's their only person, that's their
- 1:26:39Speaker 7: only look, that's their best dress.
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: That ain't they car That might not be the house.
- 1:26:45Speaker 7: That's probably a filter. So understand something. If you're making
- 1:26:51Speaker 7: up in your mind to change, to be more, to
- 1:26:53Speaker 7: do more, it's hard. It's hard. It's really really hard.
- 1:26:59Speaker 7: Listening to me, open a business is hard to do.
- 1:27:03Speaker 7: But staying on the job, working for somebody that don't
- 1:27:06Speaker 7: like you, that's hard too. It's hard. It's really really hard.
- 1:27:13Speaker 7: Biggie said that. He said more money, more problems. People
- 1:27:17Speaker 7: don't realize that, but it comes with a whole new
- 1:27:19Speaker 7: set of issues. So it is hard being financially secure.
- 1:27:25Speaker 7: It is hard to be rich. It is hard to
- 1:27:27Speaker 7: be well off. It's hard to be financially secure. But
- 1:27:31Speaker 7: guess what, it's hard to be polled to.
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: It is hard.
- 1:27:35Speaker 7: It is hard to go to the gym and get
- 1:27:37Speaker 7: yourself in tip top shape. It's really hard to get
- 1:27:42Speaker 7: yourself back to the shape you really want to be
- 1:27:44Speaker 7: in after you done got our shape, it's really hard.
- 1:27:47Speaker 7: But I got news for you. It's hard being out
- 1:27:50Speaker 7: of shape too. You see, it's hard either way. The
- 1:27:54Speaker 7: decisions you make in life are hard. You just got
- 1:27:59Speaker 7: to pick your heart which one you want.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: I happen to choose the hard that at least provides
- 1:28:06Speaker 2: me with an option.
- 1:28:09Speaker 7: You know, if you don't like people telling you what
- 1:28:11Speaker 7: to do, if you don't like being bossed around, then
- 1:28:14Speaker 7: you're gonna have to go open up with business.
- 1:28:16Speaker 10: Now.
- 1:28:17Speaker 7: I know that's hard, But ain't it hard every day
- 1:28:21Speaker 7: going down to a job you don't like that don't
- 1:28:23Speaker 7: pay you what you worth to, mistreats you, that undervalues you.
- 1:28:27Speaker 2: Ain't that hard?
- 1:28:28Speaker 7: Yeah, it's hard. So you gotta make up your mind, y'all,
- 1:28:31Speaker 7: which hard do you want? It's hard to get in shape, Yeah,
- 1:28:35Speaker 7: I got it.
- 1:28:36Speaker 2: It's listen. It's hard to eat right. It's hard to.
- 1:28:41Speaker 7: Pick the right foods to put in your mouth because
- 1:28:44Speaker 7: sometimes it just don't taste as good as the bad stuff.
- 1:28:48Speaker 7: But guess what, it's hard to eat bad too, because
- 1:28:51Speaker 7: when you eat bad, it got a consequence to it.
- 1:28:54Speaker 7: What I'm saying, it's whatever you decide to do, whatever
- 1:28:57Speaker 7: decision you've made, good it gonna come with the consequences
- 1:29:02Speaker 7: of hard. You just got to pick your heart. I
- 1:29:04Speaker 7: would rather pick the hard that has some positive outlook
- 1:29:08Speaker 7: or at least creates an option for me. I would
- 1:29:11Speaker 7: rather take the hard part of trying to eat right
- 1:29:14Speaker 7: than just eating whatever I want to and suffering the
- 1:29:16Speaker 7: consequences of what comes behind eating badly. I would rather
- 1:29:21Speaker 7: go get my blood work done and go see these
- 1:29:24Speaker 7: doctors than to sit up and wait till it's too
- 1:29:26Speaker 7: late and somebody give me some bad news and now
- 1:29:28Speaker 7: it's too late to fix. Come on, y'all, I know
- 1:29:31Speaker 7: it's hard, but make the decision that will give you
- 1:29:35Speaker 7: an option. Make the decision that will empower you. Make
- 1:29:40Speaker 7: the hard decision that will make you better. That's the
- 1:29:43Speaker 7: decision you have to make. The other one is not
- 1:29:46Speaker 7: really good.
- 1:29:46Speaker 10: Man.
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: Listen to me.
- 1:29:50Speaker 7: It's so hard that I'm asking you, and I'm telling
- 1:29:53Speaker 7: you ahead of time. It's hard, but it's hard if
- 1:29:57Speaker 7: you don't. It is hard to chase your dream. It
- 1:30:01Speaker 7: is hard to pursue your dreams and your visions. But
- 1:30:06Speaker 7: you know, it's really hard dying and never being the
- 1:30:11Speaker 7: person that God created you to be. Dying and never
- 1:30:15Speaker 7: doing the thing that you were born to do. That's hard.
- 1:30:21Speaker 7: So once again, whatever decision you make out there, folks,
- 1:30:25Speaker 7: it's gonna be hard.
- 1:30:27Speaker 2: But check this out.
- 1:30:29Speaker 7: Pick the hard that has a benefit to it. Pick
- 1:30:33Speaker 7: the hard that offers you an option. Pick the hard
- 1:30:38Speaker 7: that when you succeed at it, you can look back
- 1:30:41Speaker 7: and go mad. It was hard, but it was worth it.
- 1:30:46Speaker 7: It was hard, but it was worth it. Those are
- 1:30:50Speaker 7: my closing remarks today. If you didn't like those remarks,
