- 0:03[SPEAKER_02]: The only thing that we hang manners for that we put up around this building is world championships.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_00]: And you know the message clear, you know, we just have to play better.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody wants to take a chip and dip it in that sauce.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_00]: There's no one to say.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: Talk to you in the better place.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_04]: You know, but we've got a lot of fucking way to talk to the bull.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_02]: What's up, guys?
- 0:41[SPEAKER_02]: This is Jeff Hannis.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_02]: Hello, welcome to another edition of Currents Records Podcast.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_02]: We're on Packers Podcasts in the state of Reminds.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_02]: I am Spencer joining this week with Todd Todd.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_02]: Hello, hello, and the Grimby Packers win twenty eight two twenty one ant lambo field against the Chicago Bears who are now second and then If you North the Packers are first We're the two seed and the NFC we have a 96% chance to make the playoffs now according to the New York Times Very cool what a fun game.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_02]: You know you ended up winning got a little Spooky there for a little bit This episode will talk about offense defense take news.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_02]: We're gonna talk about your love as he the MVP
- 1:19[SPEAKER_02]: How many cubies would your other have than him?
- 1:21[SPEAKER_02]: We will have Stump Spendys and Packers trivia and then we will have the Broncos preview, but Todd, the game, what fun, um, what was your big thought, hmm?
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: I thought the key to the game was more points.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: No, I felt like I was thinking about this because when you look at the box score like in a lot of different ways the bears kind of it looks like they control the game But like red zone defense and the big play like that those two things wound up being the game, which I guess maybe you could say that about any game But turnovers wound up being a wash which was good glad we got that last one kind of made the game
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: But no, I thought like, I mean, the big plays were there.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_01]: I got, we were talking about this a little bit earlier.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I spent you asking me if I was nervous and it was like, yes.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: But only after their first drive in the second half.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, oh, like they go for the two points and they get it, and it's like I've seen this one before, and then I think that was the Watson touchdown, like immediately after that on this land wasn't yet.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: And so that was like, ah, like you kind of had that like we're going to do it like we're going to put them away at some point.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_02]: a little bit nervous at the end maybe but how do you feel yeah I mean I felt fine enough I mean the Packers led the entire game where they were never trailing I should say yeah I mean I was nervous at the end when they're going down I think I've been Johnson I got some criticism for the clock management at the end but I thought he played it like perfectly
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: You know, because I was very nervous, and if they did score on that fourth downplay, yeah, we have no timer.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_02]: We would have been absolutely fucked, so I didn't think that was a big deal.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: Going along with what you were saying to like the second half, this was, I don't know if I've seen a spread like this before the Packers time of possession in the first half was 1644, but they finished with the time of possession of 2631.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: They had the ball for just nine minutes and 45 seconds in the second half, which is fun.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, we've had drives better that long.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the bears drive their first drive in the second half was like eight.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, their fourth quarter drive was eight minutes and 32 seconds.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I feel like that a couple real long ones and they converted a lot of their downs.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_02]: We put them in a lot of their downs, but they're always like third and short at seem like and they made all of them.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_02]: So I was a bit of a let down or whatever my big thought though, leaving the game right after the game.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, Christian Watson again.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's he's a stud.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's him.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's the the offense.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I guess we've said some of the things last couple of weeks, but now with the read coming back to being out there and he was immediately a decent part of the offense as well.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: Pretty cool.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: According to pro football focus.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_02]: He's the Christian Watson that is is the fifth rated wide out since he's come back to the team after his while I mean he towards ACL against Chicago.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: This calendar year and he's already back like this great wide receiver one for this team.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_02]: So just the way the offense looks right now Again, I mean, it's just Jordan love those skyballs that he has you know the Fate away jumper that he's got going on.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's like a jane read one for the first down Which Tom Brady loved he like fucking screamed louder for loud Any other play a lot of hours this this I'm sure you were I don't mind it of too.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm Tom Brady's growing on me, which I, if you had asked me last year, I'd be like, we need to get him out of here.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: But like, he kind of grows on me, he's, he's legitimately like getting good at commentating, where it's like, he speaks at the right times, he doesn't talk too much.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_02]: Which I thought he was going to be like Roma just like you can never shut him up not the case Yeah, and again like I think when he points out the real footbally things going on like it's not a cute like the can thing which if you've been watching Packer games for the last I don't know what seven years you know what that is
- 5:31[SPEAKER_02]: But to hear him say and simplify it for everyone and like the other little things he points out He's he's got him in Greg Olson both for Fox is pretty solid still have Greg Olson I had a him for the color commentator, but yeah, right now probably but he's gotten Tom Brady's kind of a lot better this year
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: Um, yeah, I was just say like does any I mean who else has like really good commentary it is really like Fox has I too really good ones right?
- 5:55[SPEAKER_02]: I think the top dogs are pretty good actually because I do like my Trico and Collins worth I like buck and eight men.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_02]: I like what are Trico and Collins worth of there.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, they're NBC
- 6:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_02]: And then the two top fox guys that we talked about CBS with, um, I think Jim Nansen Rommar just fine.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_02]: And then, uh, our boy, Harlan, Kevin Harlan, and I think, and Trent Green is really good too, because Kevin Harlan kind of pulls the weight for both of them, because he brings like that energy to the extra stuff when that's usually the second chair.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, who's actually good?
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: Who's with, um, who's the college football guy, um, on Amazon?
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, um, yeah, we talked about him earlier this year because it's Elm Cole.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, that's right.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's Elm Michaels and Kirk Herb Street.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I don't mind Kirk at all.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's just that he's college football to me.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I can't like it is get it out of my head.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: But he's not bad.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_02]: Kirk would be really good with Kevin Harlin, you know, because, like, I might, I might that, El Michael's in him.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's just too boring for me for the most part.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_02]: They're too similar.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's very kind of needs someone to be a little more life for the party.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_02]: Refts, kind of sucked in this game.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_02]: What did you think of the refs?
- 7:14[SPEAKER_02]: We had the, um, the interception fumble to Colcomet.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_02]: I believe is who it was, which was weird.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_02]: We had the Luke Musgrave catch no catch.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_02]: We had the kisha nicks and getting flagged when he got choked.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_02]: And then we had the no real holding calls on Parsons throughout the game.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: The whole, no holding calls is literally always a thing, but it is starting to wear on me.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: I was thinking about that during the game.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I just, how many have they actually called on him?
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: It feels like one or two.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: The entire, there's, there's ridiculous.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_02]: There's been three, all year and the last one was against the cardinals.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: because you see it every like anytime he's rushing the right tackle like if you can see him on like the bottom of the screen or something like that he's getting held if he pushes the corner like that's every single time anyways they're roughing was like it seemed like when we brought the college refs up for the lockout for the refs I don't even think they're a college refs they're a worse than that.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_01]: whoever it was it was like just seemed like they didn't really have a good handle on it like they're on the field calls were garbage like granted the nice thing is you can go back and look at stuff but like like the Musgrave one like what angle did they see to turn that one over because you there was literally no good angle it didn't look great you know like I'm probably didn't catch it I'm not sure but it it's it was so weird because I can't
- 8:44[SPEAKER_02]: all of a sudden there's someone like photo bombing the shot at the one moment where it's necessary to see what's going on.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_02]: That was the only good shot that I saw.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because of course for all of these the right to commercial break and then we didn't get any really good reviews of it beforehand.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_02]: and then the back to the cool comment went to it's like I think most people were like okay that's either our ball or not a catch like going in the commercial break and then we get the replays and we're like okay it's either a catch or a fumble pick because the ball didn't hit the ground and then they called it incomplete it's incomplete ball didn't hit the it's like I kind of get it because they didn't want to give one team or the other benefit when it was a
- 9:30[SPEAKER_01]: weird, it was a bang play, but the ball didn't hit the ground so how can it be incomplete?
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's my thing.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how you make that call.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: And we didn't get the rules analyst to come.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember whose fox's rules analyst says doesn't matter.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_01]: We didn't get a rules analyst to come in and go, is it?
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I felt very much like we got to move on from this.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: Like we got to just get by this thing.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like that was a bad call.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just
- 9:58[SPEAKER_02]: the LaFlor drive by hand shake at the end.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_02]: I think we touched on a little bit last week but how Ben Johnson is in introductory press conference said how we like beating Matt LaFlor twice here and it was very funny to see LaFlor be the kind of sassy one.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_02]: It's usually not him and for him to drive by shake, keep going, very, very funny.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_02]: It's funny because I've seen people say like oh it's the packers and the bears.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's a heated rivalry like this is what it's been and it's like
- 10:25[SPEAKER_02]: Well, no, we saw him like go to a bucks game or something with the bear's head coach last off season, whoever I can't remember his name now, but like they were court side for the game and sitting together and it's like Ben Johnson and Matt O'Floor do not have any type of relationship let alone something like that.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_01]: also to like didn't wasn't it like one of the macascues told Ben Johnson when he was hired that like how important it is to beat the bears or something.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't like part of the interview process of like I mean to be to say beat the bears.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: I meant beat the packers.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_01]: Anyways which to me when he said that in the press conference that was a total like performative like
- 11:07[SPEAKER_02]: I'm saying this to like it was the bear's fans excited it was an odd delivery like I wouldn't hate it if I was a bear's fan especially with the year that they've had now but yes I I do believe the owner was like oh beat in the packers is very important and again like people go back and it's like oh they always they always say stuff about us in the press roots it's like it's only been the loveiest method Ben Johnson which is still kind of cringy but Ben Johnson was super cringy and it was like forced
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't like I hate the packers.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: It was like someone told me I had to say this.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: This is my best job acting.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I don't know.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_02]: He's kind of a shithead too.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_02]: He's going to be a fun, him and Kale will be a fun pair to hate through the years here however long they're together.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_02]: Are you, are you, are you be talking a little bit about the possession stuff?
- 11:56[SPEAKER_02]: Are you worried about the defense at all?
- 11:59[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm not worried.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not worried about the defense at all.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think honestly, like you have to give Caleb specifically a ton of credit.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like, dude's not super accurate, but he is slippery as fuck.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: Like that dude is super hard.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: Those short, stubby little legs are just like all over the place.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: You see him run and like turn the corner.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's like,
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's deceptively fast and like he's got really good pocket presence and he's just he's a big dude I think too right he's not small And he throws the ball better on the run than he does in the pocket by a long ways so yeah, I mean hats off to him He actually looks way better than I thought he would
- 12:42[SPEAKER_02]: yeah i mean he's been he's been fine he's been good enough to you know when he's some games i think there'll be a one it done probably in the playoffs but either way you got to be happy for your bears vampy yeah it's like he said deceptively fast it's like Jordy Nelson or Christian Watson almost at times where it's like all of a sudden he's just in a different gear immediately
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's like reminds me of obviously a different type player and he runs different, but like Rogers, like people always looked like they were gonna catch Rogers and they just never caught him.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what this looks like.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: Did you see though the one time when Parsons was on him?
- 13:18[SPEAKER_01]: So he tried to get around Parsons and run to the sidelines and Parsons just like way too fast for him.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: And he had to stop kind of like fell over and then through it.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_02]: person said like post game something along the lines of you might be able to outrun like some of the guys on this game but you're knocking out run me so it'll be interesting to see in the second match up in a week how a halfly adjust because there's talk of maybe switching which side persons is coming off of just so that he's forcing Caleb to run to the right or whatever it is so we'll have to see what happens with that
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't, and that is one thing that I do think you have to adjust is either like somehow find a way to spy Caleb or like just squeeze it.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm like, I don't think you can convince Parsons to not turn the corner.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_02]: And last year, two of you remember Cooper got kind of embarrassed by Caleb a couple times by taking some bad angle.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's a week away.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_02]: Offence Jordan love.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we got to talk about our King Jordan love in the middle of Toyota.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_02]: I found it was kind of weird.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_02]: He was on Pat McAfee today, which not like I thought he'd never be on Pat McAfee.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_02]: But when that was a Rodgers mainstay forever, it's funny to see that.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_02]: 17 for 25, 234 yards.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_02]: The touchdown the pick was only sack the one time and man that pick was brutal and he throws a pick.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_02]: he throws.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know where that was going.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's once again the dad tax was well overdue after not having to pick the last couple weeks.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: He only has four on the season, which is tied for or one of the lowest in the NFL.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_02]: So bad, he said post game two because you see that and a lot of these picks, you're like, ah, he didn't see him and then post game Jordan love.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_02]: As always, like, I thought I could fit it in there.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_02]: Like, he'd never said it very rarely does he say that he didn't see him.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_02]: He said the ball came off his hand a little weird, but it was,
- 15:10[SPEAKER_02]: It was one of those.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's like a perfect spiral though.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_02]: It was he.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_02]: So his first perfect spiral all year.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_02]: And then the defender came up my head funny and spun perfectly.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_02]: But again, he had the dropback fade away passes to Christian Watson and Bowel Milton.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_02]: The Christian Watson went to it's like, geez, just throw a fucking rocket in there.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_02]: And then the Bowel Milton won.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_02]: Same thing.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_02]: Same thing.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe even though it was just hung out there.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_02]: but still obviously very, very cool.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_02]: It's fun now how when Heath goes deep, it's not like, obviously you always get a little excited but then there's some hesitation with it.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot less hesitation now when he's going deep since Christian Watson came back for the most part.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's a good point.
- 15:53[SPEAKER_01]: For a while there and even beginning in the season, I'm nervous when he cocks back to throw it.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: And now I'm like, I'm getting to the point.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not Aaron Rodgers deep all excited because that was a whole different level, but I'm getting excited when I see him cocket to throw it.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, it's like two out of three are good now.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: Where it was like 50 50 before or less.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: And now it's like two out of three I'm like, oh, this is this is good.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: We're lives like Rogers was to every freaking ball.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, this is gonna be perfect.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_02]: It was nice to see like a big cat from bar stool.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_02]: He said, um, that now and he's a big bear's fan if you don't know.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_02]: Now he says when he sees Jordan love drop back and throw off his back foot, he gets worried.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, that is exactly which one of your- That is what you want to do.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because you kind of like, as a fan, you're a little bit like, I feel like we're more critical of the situation to like less likely to buy.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_01]: But when the opposing team is like, fuck, they almost get to that point before you do, you know?
- 16:56[SPEAKER_01]: Or they have more confidence in your player?
- 16:59[SPEAKER_02]: The other thing to after the bull melt and touch it down, and this is probably a dumb maybe, you know, a not critical, but just paying attention to van, he's going to the sideline and he had his like winter jacket on and he went up to bull melt and took and graduated him.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_02]: That was the first time where he looked at you in the oven, I'm like, this is a veteran quarterback.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_02]: Like he looked like a fucking Jedi or something coming up when he was like, just nodding his head up like, hey, good job, bull melt, and that's what you're supposed to do.
- 17:27[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even see that moment, but it does feel more and more like when he started out, he didn't feel like the leader of the team, you know what I mean?
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: Which he was young, whatever, but like now it does feel like they just kind of like rally behind him a little bit more, so it's good to see that.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, um, got what was he gonna say?
- 17:47[SPEAKER_02]: I was gonna say something else here.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he's still incredibly boring.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_02]: Like I love Jordan love But my guy going from far of to Rogers to love where Rogers and Farber big personalities love his just you can I could put together a bingo board for his answers and pressers and post game presses because it is always the same thing Like the keywords that he says and stuff like that.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: Who is your
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: Not to, hopefully this doesn't interfere with take news.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: Who's your favorite QB personality right now?
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, who even has one?
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: Just personality.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I have an easier one.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, who is Josh Allen?
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, sure.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, very fun.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, very easy.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_01]: And he's not a piece of shit.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know what I mean?
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: He's fun.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: No, you're absolutely right.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: Josh Allen is probably the correct answer.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: And like, James Winston is like the honorable mention, like, weird guy that you're like love because.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, but you can't, but it's like you can't say him because he's also not like you wouldn't use him to be a quarterback either.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_01]: No, but like he's like peak personality guy.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_02]: I kept like appearing that him and Russell Wilson were doing something for CBS on Sunday because the giants ran a buy and I didn't see them.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_02]: I'm surprised there was some type of clip of either one of them.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_02]: Russell Wilson was going to what was he going to do.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_02]: he was going to be in like the studio and commentate for something like pregame i think he would be surprisingly pretty good like he's mister unlimited yeah like he would try to be funny i don't know we'll see we'll see it would be bad i think it would be an absolute train wreck
- 19:20[SPEAKER_02]: White outs, um, Christian Watson will start with him four for eight nine two touchdowns.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: The long bomb for 41.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_02]: He got all four of his targets Was it grill game for him the first time he can remember him wearing a grill during the game so shout out to I thought he had braces No, I legitimately thought he had braces.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_02]: Michael Parsons has like braces on his feet front
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he said that in the Thanksgiving interview.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, really?
- 19:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I remember that.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_01]: I forget who it was at Aaron Andrews was next film was at Aaron Andrews I don't write down this year was a box and he was like she mentioned something about the previous year and he was like, yeah, I got braces this year So he's and shout out to him Go in the braces route and not the Veneer's learn how which everyone.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I guess the end of his line, too, but he's just biting the bullet right away
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: The problem with the veneers is it's it's so obvious Like you should get like stained veneers.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: They're not perfectly white One good tooth.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like make them make it realistic, you know Just perfect teeth all the way across the slant touchdown to Christian Watson was very very cool It's fun to have a player like that where you see him catch the ball like what?
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: five yards off the line of scrimmage, but you know it's going to be a touchdown or very close to it.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_02]: It was a reminiscent of, I said, when we played Chicago in 2022 and he had two touchdowns and he had like an end-go-round where he knew he was going to score, but the better the better comparison was him and Philly when Jordan Love came in when Rodgers got hurt and he took that same exact play to the house too.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, really?
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: I was thinking of like, I feel like Cobbs done that before.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: We're like, you hit him on the slant, and he obviously not Christian Watson fast, but just like quick enough that he's just impossible to gain ground on.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_02]: and it was cool to because both of his touchdowns were checks at the line and if you remember like Roger saying in 2022 as well that like he would have had a third touchdown if he saw his signal or whatever now to have that with love is good to see to and again we'll bring it up he got that contract extension in like September for 11 mill or 13 Neil 11 yeah yeah it was either 11 18 I heard 13 though maybe there's something to be guaranteed in there okay
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: Very cool, very smart contract from the Packers.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be interesting after 2026 because it's like, you got Tucker Craft, you got Christian Watson, and then you got Savion, and if you go only in the wing, so, you know, if he keeps this up, he is going to be owed a monster contract in the future.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_02]: Someone who won't be promised a contract bullmelton.
- 22:00[SPEAKER_02]: Again, the touch show was huge I thought he was it was weird cuz like the ball is in the air.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_02]: You're like, oh, it's Christian Watson.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's so and then it's like Melton that's a fucking out there.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: I was yeah when he caught the ball was like oh, that was a pleasant surprise I guess like you didn't think that's who was gonna be.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's a very fun guy to have on the team
- 22:20[SPEAKER_01]: he is a fun guy to have on the team and i feel like i mean he's been involved almost had that big play last week uh if love hits him love can throw the ball to him um when he's scrambling to the right that's a touchdown too so they're getting a fair amount involved and i got to feel too like um
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: What's his name being off the team heath just opens up all those all those like tertiary reps are gonna go to bullmelton So yep, if he if he didn't hear him really heath got caught this week He was picked up by the Atlanta Falcons are good on him that he's going to Actually get to play somewhere.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_02]: Do you know what his middle name is you remember?
- 22:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't I didn't either I would have forgotten shabazz Malik shabazz Heath.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_02]: I think when we first signed a sweetman brought it up because it's a sweet fucking name.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and yeah, Bullmelton Happy he's on the team guess how many snaps he had this week.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_01]: Don't look you can't look.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I don't have snaps in front of me
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna say it wasn't a lot.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember seeing him with her a lot.
- 23:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna say 11.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was nine.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think he had like four or two last week for how, I mean, the big play and having a couple runs in this game too.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_02]: What did he finish with?
- 23:32[SPEAKER_02]: You know, just, oh wait, no, what do you have?
- 23:35[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he didn't have any in the skin.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's Jayden Reed who actually took the other they took two shots at him, right?
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: It was the one for the touchdown.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: Did they have he had the other.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there was one that was a different I don't remember that one.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no, and now I do.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_02]: I'm glad you brought it up because it was the perfect momentum play.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_02]: because he had to play defense.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_02]: Remember he got offensive pass in her fear.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's coming back to it.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's that is right.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_02]: Which is a great play.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: It would have been picked.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_02]: It was well short.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_02]: And then he got the PI call and then they declined.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_02]: That's what it was.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_02]: So it was cool.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_02]: No receptions for Dobs, Wicks, or Golden Dobs had two targets.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_02]: Golden had one.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_02]: Looks apparently got hurt during the game.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_02]: He did have a bum ankle coming into it.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_02]: Which he's kind of been nursing all season.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_02]: So, I'm curious to see how this week's gonna go.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't be surprised if he was out, and then Jason Wilde was talking to Golden before the game too, unlike Friday, and he said he was very, very surprised that Golden played in this game, because from the conversation he had with him, he didn't sound very optimistic that he would be healthy enough to go.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_02]: So,
- 24:38[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see on Sunday.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_01]: Are we worried about Dobbs to see in like witness protection like what's going on?
- 24:44[SPEAKER_02]: I don't as long as he shows up every week.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_02]: I don't give a shit because I mean with read Watson Dobbs golden wicks It's like somebody is going to be the odd man out every week.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: True.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: He had that one.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think it was the third downplay that journal over through.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's like he barely jumped up to get it as well.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_02]: Not to victim shame here, but it's like he could
- 25:07[SPEAKER_01]: Well that's what I mean like is it not happy with the amount of touches like is that coming I if he pulls that shit now then he can fuck right off
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: He's probably fucking off anyway.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_02]: No, right like after the season's off.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yes, but it's like we're in a playoff run here Super full.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying it's happening But the stuff that happened last year.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_02]: We never got we never know we don't have it.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_02]: We'll never he was upset with the offense I still I still get upset when people are like oh, it was it was a mental health crisis It's like no if it was a mental health thing they wouldn't have suspended him a fucking game, right?
- 25:46[SPEAKER_02]: You lost a game check for it.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_02]: They wouldn't have done that if if that's what happened then he should sue the team Um, tie that Three players were targeted four times in this game.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_02]: It was Watson read and Luke Musgrave I'm gonna have the nice first down ground when love was pressured I think that might have been on the third down.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_02]: He also had the huge catch which was then ruled a drop Which we talked about and then else had another one before half getting like 15 yards which set up the bull melt and touchdown
- 26:15[SPEAKER_02]: I've said similar things in the past, he is Christian Watson playing Titan, it's like if Christian Watson was, if you put the speed meter down like one point and you just had him play Titan, that's who Luke Musgrave is, like he can't block very well for his size, you know, I think
- 26:32[SPEAKER_02]: Like if you had Watson out at the end and he tried to block a fucking defense event I think it would be similar what we see from Musgrave, but it's like the last couple weeks here Using them more of those vertical routes it has been those stupid Richard Rogers two yard outs with them lately I've like what I've seen from him his hands seem better
- 26:50[SPEAKER_01]: It does feel like the floor is calling plays to fit Musgrave instead of trying to square peg in a round hole because he's the polar opposite of Tucker Crap.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: So you just can't interchange the two.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like Fitzpatrick does such a better job.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_01]: in the Tucker craft role.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think they're not even near potential talent levels.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, like you get Luke Musgrave running down the seam.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's a scary thing for the defense.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_01]: And we need to do it.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm glad to see that Matt changed things up a little bit this week.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he could be really successful down the stretch if we keep doing stuff like that.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_02]: Wiley had the nice pickup to for 21 yards.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_02]: The Packer's Twitter account the next day tweeted out the like it just a statistic both the one catch he had but then they called him Mr. Motion.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_02]: So I liked that.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_02]: That can be his name is Edward Fitzpatrick.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_02]: Had the one eight yard catch but he made a guy miss on it which was kind of nice to see.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_02]: And the snaps again just weird how it I don't remember if it I think it two catches for Fitzpatrick.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: Oh he did.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_02]: The SNAPs flopped again where Fitzpatrick had 30 while he had 22 in Muscreep had 21.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_02]: Muscreep had led the team against Detroit in SNAPs, at least with the tight end.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_02]: So, just interesting again, I'm sure that will be game-dependent run-first game, or running game a little bit more here if it's Patrick makes sense.
- 28:19[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't see Kanard out there at Titan as an extra lineman very often was did he have snaps?
- 28:25[SPEAKER_02]: He did he only had six which is his lowest out of the last six, five, however many weeks it's been since Tucker craft went out.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_02]: Sure, okay.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_02]: Running Banks first drive, I mean just Jacobs had that nice run on third down if you remember the classic Josh Jacobs run where he's going outside going outside you're like he's not gonna get the angle and then he just whoops around and gets that angle it's like again a very deceptively I don't know if I'd call him deceptively fast but he's deceptively squeaky sneaky
- 28:54[SPEAKER_01]: He looks like he has to have like the strongest, like quickest legs I've ever seen.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_01]: We're like he can cut for a bigger dude.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_01]: He cuts so fast and like turns that corner so fast.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and especially on that third down run at the end of the game, that was awesome.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_02]: The classic no-no, yes, where it's like, oh fuck, there's nothing there.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_02]: And then he just sticks his foot in the ground.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_02]: Goes between the four bears defenders, gets the first down, picks up 21 yards.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_02]: Might maybe the run of the year?
- 29:25[SPEAKER_02]: I can't really think of many others in that.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe he hasn't broken many of this.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like there was one other good one this year.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the 29 yarder against Detroit last week, but he hasn't had like those longer chunks that we saw from last year.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_02]: Chris Brooks, the Chuckdown King, had another one, uh, free print.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_02]: free bingo space every week it seems like at this point and Brooks and Wilson each only had eight snaps total.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_02]: So in Wilson is getting phased out a bit it'll be interesting to see what they do and who they cut when Merchant Lloyd eventually comes back.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_02]: the offensive line.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_02]: Only one sack allowed eight total pressures.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_02]: Zack Tom led with the pressures allowed with three.
- 30:11[SPEAKER_02]: The line was pushing forward for 4.5 yards per carry for the team run in the ball.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_02]: Three, three starts, three wins for Anthony Belton.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_02]: You like seeing him out there.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, again, it's just he's getting better every week too.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_02]: Again, it's his first time playing guard and it's just been a huge change.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_02]: Like now we're now we're seeing like highlights of him in Sean Ryan like locking up on the dual blocks in the middle there, which is not something that that we were seeing early on.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I was going to say.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_01]: It feels like just like the physicality and just like the grit of the offensive line has changed just with those two.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Sean Rangon to center feels like it makes a big difference actually in the run game versus like Elton being there, which is kind of funny because like, I don't know, we all think highly of Elton, but.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_01]: like I kind of thought it almost kind of feels like sometimes when you draft these tackles that they're just like not really like.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: big athletic guys, but they don't seem like big physical forces.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_01]: But this dude's like, he is a bit of a baller.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, like, is there a chance that he's a guard?
- 31:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you see, like, is he just a guard?
- 31:32[SPEAKER_02]: You have to keep an at guard right now unless you start training camp next year and Jordan Morgan looks terrible at left tackle.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_02]: Like, him with Morgan and Tom and Belton looks good at guard.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_02]: Jordan Morgan looks terrible at guard.
- 31:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's like you have to kind of stick them there for the time being at least in it.
- 31:46[SPEAKER_02]: because he turns into a pro bowl guard like who gives a shit.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'd be happy to have a pro bowl guard.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_02]: Whoever.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_02]: And then Zack Tommy had the three pressures in this game, but according to Pro football, focus he's the seventh best tackle in the league, only 16 pressures given up on the season and one penalty.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_02]: And then he got to remember to he's hurt.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_02]: Like he's got that oblique injury going on that he's been nursing.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_02]: Airbanks, when he's been pretty good lately, but he did have that face mask, which was pretty clear, but at the same time, it's like immediately after the defensive Lyman grabbed his face mask.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's like, yeah, and let the boys be boys, but that wasn't happened with this Reffen crew.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_02]: they're letting some of the boys play, they're just not letting all the boys play, and then again can I are only with the six daps in the jumbo set have you seen that like league why this is what teams are doing like the 21 personnel and that 21 12 are old.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_02]: 12 personnel where there's only two white outs and then you bring in the extra offensive lime and like a lot of teams are doing that this year and it's one of the reasons why people have said that the chiefs are stumbling because they have like those receiver X type tight ends that they put out in the slot and they can't man up on the edge there and that's why they're run game is struggled by the team has struggled in general so it's been nice to see that we are you know ahead of the curve a little bit or we were this season when
- 33:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it is interesting to see the league kind of I mean, it's just like a pendulum right, you know, you see people get smaller leaner faster and then all of a sudden like now you have all the super fast linebackers and stuff in the league and then it's like all right, let's swing back the other way and the offense seems to be the one that pushes everything and they go, okay, we're going to get big and strong.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_01]: Got you see some of these like offensive linemen coming out and stuff like that and they're big and strong and fast and then you'd say yeah You put six seven of them out there.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: Good luck Someone's getting bulldozed and that's the guy you follow.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know
- 33:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it is.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_01]: I like to see it though.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_02]: I think we talked about a little bit last year, Tukas won like the Eagles won on a very good running game with, say, Quam Barclay really got offensive line.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_02]: And like you're saying, it's once again like the line, the linebackers now are guys that look like Edron Cooper and Quay Walker and not Lance Briggs and Brian Irlacker.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, not guys that are going to just take on a tackle head on.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, with that offense anything else on the offensive side of the ball?
- 34:21[SPEAKER_01]: No, it was just like a fun.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_01]: Those big plays, man.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's just like sparks the offense so much.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's fun.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's back to big game hunter Jordan Love.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_02]: Even though he had braids, I think this week not the Afro.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_02]: So hopefully we see it again sometime soon.
- 34:36[SPEAKER_01]: To out of fun.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_02]: To out of love.
- 34:39[SPEAKER_02]: With that, we will have a quick commercial break.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: and we are back with the defense.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_02]: The defense pretty fine.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_02]: I mean 21 points.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_02]: Not then nothing to get too upset with.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_02]: Candle Williams was one for seven to start the game passing.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_02]: And the Bears first three positions.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_02]: They only had one first down.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_02]: The Bears also the first half Bears at least on offense.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_02]: What am I saying here?
- 35:05[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, first half the bears had the least amount of offensive yards from a bent Johnson coach team So that's another big one too after all the success.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_02]: He had in Detroit Edd Rushers Back up Parsons.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_02]: I mean he's really I don't know.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what he's really fucking good hit eight pressures in this game He knows 78 on the season, which is the most
- 35:26[SPEAKER_02]: by a packer in team history and I don't know if you know if there are what three four four games left this season So I don't know how long they've kept pressures as a stat, but he leads it for the team in the history now even with fucking what clay Matthews Darius Smith.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we're Sean Gary, whatever we want to say about him.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_01]: His pressure.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_02]: His pressure rate on Sunday was 26.7 So it's like one in four plays.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_02]: He's he's in Caleb and affecting that
- 35:56[SPEAKER_02]: He had the immediate pressure for a throwaway on third down in the first half I know for sure, and then he set up that sack for JJ and Eggbarray, which was pretty cool too.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_02]: You're watching the whole time and it's like Maybe not Few times does this happen, but it was like you watch it.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, okay.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, JJ you can do your little dance, but Parsons is one that forced it
- 36:18[SPEAKER_01]: I almost think too because when they played the replay is like, I think JJ saw that Parsons came free and he's like, I'm going to track back to the middle of the field, like, which is where you've seen Rashad Gary do that multiple times this year.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, when
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: Parsons stuns her to something where he gets a guard or a center that's got a block of one on one.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_01]: He's almost 100% getting through and then you just kind of see like it's been Gary that just kind of float back to the middle of the field and get to sack in this time it was JJ, which JJ had a freaking great game.
- 36:50[SPEAKER_02]: He's had a really good month.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_02]: The last four weeks he has like either a sack or a tackle for loss it seems like and he came up huge at the end of the game too.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that third down.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_01]: I mean,
- 37:01[SPEAKER_01]: But no guy hadn't been stood up like freaking wants the entire game and JJ hits him in stride and just levels up.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's like foolish.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_01]: That was nests.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that was huge.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_02]: because it was like coming off after a second down, I'm like, oh, fuck, we're gonna lose this game, aren't we?
- 37:17[SPEAKER_02]: And then it's like, they stop on third.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, oh, okay, maybe we won't.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_02]: And then fourth down happens, it's like, oh, we actually won the game.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_02]: What do you know?
- 37:24[SPEAKER_02]: I'm freaking wild.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_02]: The holdings, we've talked about that a little bit.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_02]: I did do some research again.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_02]: He said three holdings against him.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_02]: Apparently at Lambo, they showed their Nell right, holding him on that last drive.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a strier.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_02]: Fans were booing and it's like,
- 37:39[SPEAKER_02]: I agree, but I don't know if that's gonna like really help like the refs are there.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_02]: It's not like they're gonna be like, you know what you're right.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_01]: This next one I'm gonna I'm gonna throw a flag after I have an all game Well, and it's got to be a league thing that no one's throwing the flag here because Nobody is throwing the flag and it happens all the time.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a league thing
- 37:57[SPEAKER_02]: In person says said that like he this is kind of always been the deal with him.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_02]: He's a little bit smaller for a defensive end.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_02]: He's six three I believe and you know Rashad Gary and like Lucas Venness or at least six five six six So he does get in plus he said that like if you go high It's tougher to get a flag called against it's kind of like the David Bogdari thing that NFC North fans would always get upset with that
- 38:23[SPEAKER_02]: Not a lot of holdings were called against box theory.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_02]: I looked it up because obviously it's been a big thing With like holding calls because it doesn't feel like we've had a lot called against us But I was wrong.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_02]: We've had 19 offensive holdings of this year 13 on the team we're playing so we've had 9 it's been a difference of six holdings in every or throughout the season so far
- 38:50[SPEAKER_02]: the league average for holds is 16 right now and then I looked it up to six of them six of the holds are from non offensive linemen either I had to go through like all the holdings from got to it so I feel like a lot of them have been that and I couldn't find like a way to find the statistic for like non offensive linemen getting hold so that I don't know right yeah tight ends
- 39:16[SPEAKER_02]: Rashad Gary, I think a lot of people were pissed at him after this game.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_02]: I thought I was kind of up and down.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: The fourth down where he ran after Caleb Williams wasn't great, but he's looking a step slower.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: He did get a holding call called against him on the three and out on the first drive Again, he couldn't catch up to kill on the fourth which was less than ideal
- 39:36[SPEAKER_02]: And Gary and Cooper rush kale about a bounce for a throw away on third and long.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_02]: He also had a pressure force and kale to throw it away in the red zone and he did finish with four pressures which was second on the team.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_02]: So I think we can get on Gary for a lot of things but this wasn't the worst game that we've seen from him this year.
- 39:55[SPEAKER_02]: What were people upset with that he's not faster?
- 39:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, he looks slow at times.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's not his fault.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's got like a wild dog.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_01]: he does run very upright but like what i mean what are we were mad at him i don't like what are we doing i i think since the snap thing was a big talking point a couple weeks ago people will be like hey come on what's what's up with your conditioning yeah i mean we could we should be more mad at the contract
- 40:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but I mean, we kind of had to.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I still remember, and we watched that Patriots game together in 2023, I believe, or was it 2022, whatever year it was?
- 40:34[SPEAKER_02]: He don't know.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_02]: You just watched him on defense.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_02]: And it was every other play it seemed like where he was getting in, got zappy.
- 40:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think is who started the game.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe back Jones started it and then Zappie came in but it's since he tore the ACL he just hasn't been the same guy.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_02]: Ah, that's rough.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_02]: Jay Jannigbari again.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_02]: He had the sack that we talked about the person set up.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: The stop, you know, that was like top five plays of the game.
- 41:01[SPEAKER_02]: Like we might lose if he doesn't stop my nungai on 3rd and 1.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_02]: He finished with four solo tackles, a TFL, a sack, and two pressures, so I will take that.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_02]: It will be interesting.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_02]: He's a guy who, you've talked about, who is a unrestricted free agent at the end of the year, he'd probably get a half way decent contract on the open market, but I do wonder if maybe Goody, like trades, Roshan away, and then uses that money to keep JG around.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_02]: I doubt it, but it's just something to think about.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, it's not even, yeah, but it'd be interesting.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because if you think of JJ and it's like he's good.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_02]: I like him as a third guy, but as a two.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, yeah, I don't know.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_02]: We still have LVN for God one more year is he in the contract year next year already.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_02]: Fuck.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_02]: I think he is.
- 41:49[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he is.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_02]: Last year was his second year.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's four.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_02]: That's crazy.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_02]: God time fucking flies.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, defensive tackle bears average 4.3 yards per carry.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_02]: They entered the weekend with six more explosive runs for
- 42:06[SPEAKER_02]: with six more explosive runs.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_02]: They had 54 runs of 10 plus yards, so it was six more than any other team.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_02]: He had six alone against Philly.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't have one on 32 attempts against the Packers.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_02]: His longest run was 49 or the Bears longest run was 49.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_02]: So in we suffer run pretty well, especially outside, we did pick up the two nose tackles.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_02]: This happened after we recorded last week.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_02]: Jordan Riley off the Giants practice squad, Ricky and Nizier Stackhouse was inactive for the first time this season on Sunday.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_02]: We also signed Quintano, Quintano, that must be it, Bojana Han, Quintano, Bojana Han.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: That's a great name.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_02]: It sounds great, whatever, yeah.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_02]: he was on the seahawks and got cut to a guy who covers the seahawks said that they were hoping to get him back on the practice squad so it shows you that he is a halfway decent player and I think it's interesting, it's probably me thinking too hard and looking at the roster and I'm like oh I'm noticing something people other people aren't
- 43:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's interesting how Bretton Cox and Colin Oliver are practicing now, two kind of undersized and who are past-rush specialists.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_02]: Bretton Cox doesn't give you much in the run game, but I think he had like, he was top three, top four for us in sex last year, I feel like.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_02]: And now, with signing these two guys, I wonder if they're going with a fat and fast for the defense up front say fat and fast.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because it does at a terms at a phrase we use it's one that I'm making up.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_02]: I like it because we have the two safeties Xavier McKinney and Evan Williams who've been very good in the run game this year.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_02]: We have Quay Walker and Edron Cooper and the nice amic duffy who's played really well this year.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_02]: All against the run and the two other guys can run pretty fast outside so you can get that in and out And then it's like now we have these two big guys in the middle.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_02]: I really think if they're like they're thinking You know, let's up the size and instead of an easier stack house who's a undrafted rookie We have these two Jordan Riley for instance.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_02]: He weighs 338 pounds Quinton bull Hannah Han is 320 double Hannah bull Hannah
- 44:21[SPEAKER_02]: Man a little possessed to it and then for instance extra hand who started this game was Carl Brooks who's 296 and Colby Wooden who's listed at 273 is probably more than that now But that difference there between just the two starting defensive tackles is 96 pounds So nice to be fit up a little bit did play a few snaps in this game
- 44:47[SPEAKER_01]: I saw somebody tweeting, I forget who it was talking about because Jordan Riley and correct me if I'm wrong in this room, but since we claimed him off a practice squad, we have to keep him for three games and he has to be active for three games.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_02]: He has to be on the roster for sure.
- 45:01[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if he has to be active, but he has to be on the roster.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_02]: You can't, I caught him.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: 90% sure what I read at least was that he has to be active.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_01]: I would be, and that was part of the reason why and is here was inactive.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_00]: Hmm.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_01]: I guess I would be surprised if they had something like that that he had to be active.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_01]: That seems like okay Maybe that's wrong, but then I did also see that like we Somebody was making like the point of like maybe we wouldn't have picked him up if Bohanna was available and said we would just kept Nizir and Bohanna be our two guys.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think there's a different defensive tackle too, but besides Bohanna who got cut that they were wondering the chargers Yeah, the chargers
- 45:43[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't be shocked if we claimed another guy and cut one of these two in the next week or two or maybe we stick with them for the rest of the year.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_02]: Linebackers, Adrian Cooper had the big hit on Monungai, hit his logo off, at first we weren't sure which logo came off, but later in the game you could see Monungai's C. It was selling it.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_01]: Did you, did you, did you know did you see what it was?
- 46:03[SPEAKER_01]: It was the clip on Cooper's visor.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_01]: Oh really?
- 46:06[SPEAKER_01]: On the top of the visor, like a little under Armour logos are right here.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_01]: And that went flying.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pretty I'm I watched the replay a couple times.
- 46:15[SPEAKER_02]: I was like what flew off and I'm pretty sure that's what it was Okay, because I looked like it came off Edron, but then like a couple plays later.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_01]: I saw Manunga's helmet and the C was like peeling off and I'm like, oh That must have been what what it was for I think it was the clip because right where he makes contact to his right on the top of his face mask and it just goes flying off in the space
- 46:34[SPEAKER_01]: that makes sense.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_02]: I wonder if Edron is going to get fined this week for the helmet to helmet on that one.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_02]: That was the allowed, it's especially at Lambo in the cold.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_02]: Those helmets poop.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_01]: Though the physicality that the linebackers and DN, just the front 7 in general, the physicality
- 46:54[SPEAKER_01]: was impressive like granted like I mean they were bringing it to like the bears are bringing it to them and on guys hard to tackle But like the hits I haven't heard hits like that.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah in like Five ten years we're like you actually can hear them on TV.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: We're like, oh that was a big hit and like pieces of equipment Copeland.
- 47:16[SPEAKER_01]: I was really impressed with just like how physically work is like football these days kind of feels a little soft at times
- 47:24[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't, uh, it wasn't on Sunday.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_02]: Early winter this year, because I don't remember having like many cold games at Lambo since during love's been our quarterback.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, definitely is secondary Kishan Nixon.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, God.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_02]: We'll talk about up and down game.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_02]: He had the huge play stop in the screen on in the second or on second down where he ran up and stuck he got as he like tackled the guy with hit him early.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_02]: I will I apparently you can hit them early at the line of scrimmage behind the line of scrimmage which everyone knew of course.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_02]: I definitely definitely knew.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know that.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_01]: I had to have known him forgotten.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_01]: because like in your head you're always like they you have to wait for the ball to get there to hit them but like he just hit them just like I apparently key shot nooks he was even looking for which I mean didn't happen against the lions or maybe that was bullard who didn't get his head around it was bullard a couple weeks ago
- 48:21[SPEAKER_02]: Um, Nixon had the big pressure on Caleb almost had a sack.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_02]: Um, Caleb, because I thought maybe he was going to get him because Caleb like holds on to the ball so long, but you forced him to throw away.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_02]: I think Caleb leads the league and throw away his two and he had like three or four of them in this game.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_02]: Kishan was well overdue for the dumb penalties.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_02]: The second one was bad, but I mean I don't know.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_02]: I see why they threw the flag, but it should have been offsetting because like the whole there was like a big pile with a fat fucks and Then I'll at the end all of a sudden there's a flag and we see the replay and it's over and Kishan like walks up to Burton And you can tell he's talking shit and the Burton like fucking grabs his throw up by the neck and he doesn't get a flag for that They threw the flag on Nixon
- 49:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that was interesting.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's what's ridiculous is like, I'm, I get it like if you retaliate to somebody like you're probably gonna, but like, with your standing in front of the rough, the guy grabs you in the neck like, what are you supposed to do?
- 49:20[SPEAKER_01]: And the rough doesn't flak us, but it's gone.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_02]: But I think the flake came out for what happened before, and the rough's like, I gotta stick with my guns here, even though I'm right in front of him.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_02]: Call them a mean name.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_02]: That's what mean about his mom.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_02]: So you threw the flag.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_02]: And then Kishan obviously had the pick at the end which is pretty cool first pick for a corner back on the Packers this year Which is absolutely shocking.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_02]: I know we've been talking we talked about a couple weeks ago, but to actually hear it It's a character.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_01]: It could have seven
- 49:49[SPEAKER_02]: Um, did you see what Parsons, uh, said about Keeshan after the game?
- 49:53[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_02]: He said small man syndrome, little scrappy mother fucker, and then Keeshan himself after the game said, uh, quote, I don't care.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_02]: I do this shit for me.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_02]: Fuck everybody else.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_02]: Excuse my language, but I am who I say I am, and I always tell myself that he did, again, for us thinking he didn't have a very good game.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_02]: According to Peripheral Focus, he allowed only two completions out of five for 11 yards, which is pretty pretty good.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_01]: Here's the thing, though, like you have to grade him missing the pick in the end zone as a negative.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_01]: That has to be a negative play.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know how that ball got through there.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_02]: If that was nuts, I thought it was a pick, and I'm gonna say, see the riff, but his hands up were to the bear celebrate, and I was like, fuck, he got to be kidding me.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_02]: Again, another...
- 50:40[SPEAKER_01]: That was a bad throw.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_01]: That was a really bad throw.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_01]: That should have been picked.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: That's nine times out of ten, that's picked.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, probably.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_02]: And it's just such a rocket from some, for so close.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe if Kishan doesn't touch it and slow it down, the KES or whatever doesn't go straight through everyone's hands.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_02]: uh... it's just that's like a that's a bad ball uh... valentent got beat by burden for a big game on the lap for big in on the last drive but other than that that was the only completion he allowed the entire game
- 51:11[SPEAKER_01]: Really there was a spot where he got hit there was a zone where the guy sat down right next to him and he didn't get it But couldn't tell you I can just tell you what my notes say.
- 51:20[SPEAKER_02]: I can't change him now.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_02]: Let me come all had Evan Williams had the play on Lovelin I guess I was lovelin down the sideline who dropped fumble pick whatever I mean didn't you know I mean they turned it over or punted it a couple plays later But again just a great play from Evan Williams
- 51:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, good play bad play.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's been really good as of late.
- 51:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, the only negative.
- 51:43[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it seems like this pop up But he couldn't bring Caleb down when he blitz that delay blitz late in the game where he had his like a leg The bears were going from right to left and then we like jumped over He like Caleb jumped over the pile kind of thing was that one?
- 51:59[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe he lofted it because he ran up and then he lofted it to the tight end I don't remember if his cool commit or love limit was a really it was probably his best play Yeah, I think it was that combat down the sidelines one
- 52:13[SPEAKER_02]: uh... board nice tackle of the line of scrimmage uh... coming in from the safety stopping uh... monungai that was and we see that just but every other week now from him he had twenty six naps hobs had ten hobs was back in this game but again it's nice to see i don't know if he's still a little banged up but uh... played sparingly which is nice bullard might be like sneaky one of my favorite guys on the defense did you see him cover ground when kale was scrambling up to the right
- 52:42[SPEAKER_01]: It was like that Georgia athleticism.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, I was honest.
- 52:44[SPEAKER_01]: He just eats up space, which is fun to see.
- 52:47[SPEAKER_02]: He's got a great celly too, because he's bored.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_02]: He's bowling.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_02]: He does the whole put his hands on his helmet.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's got the horns going on.
- 52:54[SPEAKER_02]: I love it.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, very cool.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, at the end of the year, when we reviewed the season, most improvements, so many guys to talk about.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_02]: Because he's tops of the list too.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_02]: We thought he was going to be the weak link on the defense.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_02]: And if nothing, he's at least a solid contributor.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we were talking about him as a guy's like, what do you do with him because he doesn't like he's not great at anything and you got these other guys who can fit in places and we thought Hobbes was going to be Anything not so that helps pull it out a lot.
- 53:22[SPEAKER_02]: So and then X couldn't bring down an unguided two point conversion when the center came in and push along that kind of when that happened.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's where it started to get a little worried.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_01]: But Cooper with the assist from behind push it tackling him into the end.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, what do you I mean, yeah.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 53:39[SPEAKER_01]: What do you do, I guess?
- 53:40[SPEAKER_02]: Special teams, uh, Christian Welch, there was that one kickoff that they were flagged for those short.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_02]: It might have hit him.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_02]: All the team went up to him out there, like it hit him.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but the reaction was like right next to his shoulder.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_02]: As you saw him, he like did the Michael Jackson like elbow thing and he just put up with the one trying to hit it.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_02]: I, I don't know if any one reviewed the tape inside and I've always watched the all 22 but not this week, but it was like very, very close.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_02]: Kick coverage was great.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_02]: Kick offs were good too.
- 54:09[SPEAKER_02]: I like the bow meltton.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_02]: I mean we'll Wilson.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_02]: Savion if he's banged up.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I would still say, especially when you look at our white outs, I just give him a red shirt ear, especially if Jane read back.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_02]: I don't only want him on kickoff, so Minimal Wilson, he's going to lessen apps, if he's going to stick on the team, I'd kick him as a kick returner in this new iteration of the kickoff, because I mean, this one too, I think we had, I think Bow and I mean, Annie will have a return where they got to at least the 35, which is, you know, what the penalty is if you kick it in the end zone anyways.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_01]: having a manual back there makes reminds me of when we had the seahawks running back, Michael.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_01]: Christine Michael.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_01]: Christine Michael back there.
- 54:54[SPEAKER_01]: Didn't he almost bust one or bust one for a touchdown?
- 54:58[SPEAKER_02]: He either did or got very close.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you're right.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that was against the seahawks too.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_02]: Like his first game.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_02]: Putting a running back back there sometimes is the play like I don't they just it's if you can break a tackle sometimes it's all the matters McMahon is kicked one out of bounds that sucked Does it that special teams that's a defense that's the game Todd you got anything else on it?
- 55:25[SPEAKER_01]: No, it is.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: It did seem like a wheel and wasn't really wheeled and deal in this game.
- 55:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, cold weather gets to him.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_02]: It seems.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it sucked because he kicked it out of bounds and you're like the 20.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_02]: And then there's a penalty.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_02]: So we kicked it again and we're like, oh, ha, ha, ha.
- 55:41[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to at least kick it that far in the back.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_02]: And then I went.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_02]: out of bounds like the 35 or whatever.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's one not very good punt of the season.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_02]: I believe he's still on track to have the best net punting really.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's for a green be a pack or punter.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_02]: Game was fun.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_02]: I see Rogers did the belt.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's just not because I watched the game through like social media people doing like mashups of him and the packers.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_02]: I saw it when it happened.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_02]: It was like, oh my god, be still my beating heart.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_02]: He's still doing it every once in a while.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_02]: Um, pretty big built to it.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_02]: So, biggest one he's done in Chicago.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's been a small belt guy, like later in his career, but then he's.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he brought some on the scene.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_01]: I like the big belt.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I brought the big belt back.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_02]: Packers are good.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_02]: I love this football team.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_02]: It feels like 2010.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_02]: Take news.
- 56:36[SPEAKER_03]: Football time.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_02]: All right, tick news for the week Jordan love he's pretty good.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's having a great season again We went into the year like third year second with the extension Big year for him is he gonna be more of the same or is he gonna be Toyota Thon is he gonna be 22 second half Jordan love 23 Jordan love and he's been great He is now third or fourth in MVP odds depending on what book you go to
- 57:13[SPEAKER_02]: Currently he has the fourth best pass rating.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_02]: He has second and EPA purse drop-back which is what it's not adjusted points but it's points added.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_02]: It's yeah it's like it's like a value score.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_02]: Right and we have to you know say it's valuable even though we don't fully understand it.
- 57:32[SPEAKER_02]: Fourth and off target percentage so the fourth most accurate QB in the league when blitzed he has the highest EPA in the league.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, EPA's expected points added, expected points added.
- 57:44[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, and that's a per play thing, too, that they add up over.
- 57:46[SPEAKER_01]: In advanced stat measuring how much better or worse a team performs on a single play compared to expectations.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: So, when he's on the field,
- 57:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's to the EPA correlates, so like how much better the team does.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_01]: When he passes and stuff, yeah.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yep, yep.
- 58:02[SPEAKER_02]: He is ninth in the arts, fifth in touchdown passes and tied for like the fewest picks for everyone who applies.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_02]: He's very good.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we can go this a couple different ways, you know, when I originally wrote this down, we maybe were gonna talk about it last week.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_02]: We did not, but now after Toyota Thon three weeks and he's still looking really, really good.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_02]: Right now Stafford is top for MVP after that.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's not it's not oh, it's Drake me and then it's Jordan love and Josh Allen So I don't think he's going to win the MVP unless the Rams really crap out here and we went out I think there's actually a really good chance he would be them VP which would be pretty fucking nuts
- 58:41[SPEAKER_02]: So, I don't really, I don't think we need to talk about that, but especially even with Philip Rivers signing with the Cole's practice squad today, I thought we should look at what quarterbacks would you rather have, I guess this is also a good timing to a jail in Hertz going off that terrible Monday night game.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_02]: Did you see that?
- 59:00[SPEAKER_02]: He had four picks on one play, he had two turnovers.
- 59:04[SPEAKER_01]: He had two turnovers.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_01]: I heard he had a really bad game, but I did not two turnovers in one place.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_02]: Through a pick, the guy running it back, fumbled it, jailed it, heard it spicked it up and then he fumbled it like immediately.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_02]: They had that monster's ink thing going on, you know, and it like glitching Nickelodeon version.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_02]: It didn't know what to do after the second fumbled and the character is kept running when the ball was on the ground.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_02]: It was pretty funny.
- 59:29[SPEAKER_02]: That's for you buddy, but I have a little list here.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_02]: It's like a mix of dynasty slash, you know, who would you rather have this is quarterbacks, like, you know, we, we see during the level of a week we've had our complaints we've had our, uh, gushes about him, but when you look at the landscape, there aren't, I think there's less quarterbacks that you'd rather have than maybe you would initially think so.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_02]: 20, and this is a bad start, but Matthew Stafford, you know, he's 37 years old though.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's like if you're if you're starting a team tomorrow, who would you want to be a quarterback?
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like Matthew Stafford.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_02]: Cam Ward, he should probably be higher.
- 1:00:10[SPEAKER_02]: He's 23 years old, but obviously you'd take Jordan level over him.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_02]: Daniel Jones, who, and that probably dropped to his 28 years old and tore his Achilles.
- 1:00:18[SPEAKER_02]: So you would take Jordan Kelly.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_02]: I guess speak up if if you get to a guy who you'd maybe rather have in Jordan.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, Jared Goff.
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_02]: He is 31.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_02]: Jackson Dart.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_02]: He is 22.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_02]: only if we get scatable with them.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_02]: If I'd maybe I wouldn't actually think about it, but if it's a package, no, I'm saying no, I don't want scatable.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 1:00:45[SPEAKER_02]: He would suck up.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_02]: This is a different discussion but that is ridiculous.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_02]: Deck Prescott, 32 years old.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'm ranked 14th.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_02]: He probably be hired too.
- 1:00:57[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't it wild that Dak is older than Jared Goff doesn't Jared Goff feel a hundred years older?
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_02]: Dak still feels like he's the sixth round pick replacing 20-year-old mode to me for what I'm raising.
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think like this is so far this is the best one.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_01]: Dak, but like
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_02]: I just do like cam word though.
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_02]: I might take cam over deck press got just but you're only taking him because he's Yo that and the potential and it's like he's in Tennessee, you know, like he knows I Just like terrifying to take someone based on ceiling.
- 1:01:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah fair Bonix
- 1:01:38[SPEAKER_01]: Bonyx, and I just said Tara like scary to take so but like his ceiling does seem really and he's way He's like higher.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_01]: He can do it.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like he has a high ceiling.
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Bonyx when he's on is kind of scary But it I don't know.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_02]: He's not super accurate consistent.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, uh Brock Perty Absolutely not Baker Mayfield
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_02]: I do love Baker, but no, I like the aura of Baker, but he's really nice since being like falling apart all year.
- 1:02:12[SPEAKER_01]: I would never count Baker out, like that's like one of the nicest things I think I can say about him is like you could never count him out, like he's a dog, but like also I'd rather have Jordan.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_02]: He's 30 years old too, so I don't know.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_02]: He probably get like six more years out of him.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_02]: At number nine, Jalen Hertz.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_02]: He is 27, like you're all of, yeah, and hell no.
- 1:02:33[SPEAKER_02]: I've always been a Hertz hater.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_02]: Dude, I, Hertz is not good.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_02]: I would hate, if talking, like people saying, oh, you gave Jordan love this big contract.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, I would have much rather given that contract to Jordan love than Jalen Hertz because he's like going to be an Elbatross on that roster now.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_02]: They've been airing the Elbatross for Jalen.
- 1:02:52[SPEAKER_02]: The case for jail it hurts to see what it's super ball.
- 1:02:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, literally.
- 1:02:55[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_02]: And eat and see now this is where we're getting a weird stuff again because this is eat.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_02]: This is eat.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_02]: Caleb Williams.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_02]: No, yeah, I mean, I understand I would I would I'd like to get a bears fan with truth serum and see what they would say, but it's like he's still one of the least accurate quarterbacks in the league.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_02]: He's a lot of fun though.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_02]: He would be a fun guy to watch every week kind of like I'm more feminine version of Baker Mayfield, I guess just in Herbert who is also 27
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_01]: I really like Herbert, but he, I thought he was going to be much better than he's kind of wound up being, I don't know, maybe that's like the Jim Harba effect.
- 1:03:37[SPEAKER_01]: He does have a just like terrible offensive line too.
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_01]: Which is funny because like he loves offensive linemen like well, it's because all the guys got thirsty Yeah, Missy Joe Joe alt like towards ACL.
- 1:03:50[SPEAKER_02]: He's out for the season.
- 1:03:51[SPEAKER_02]: They have the other.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_01]: Okay fair.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know that.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah I know they've had other guys.
- 1:03:55[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're on the like their third or fourth screen guys in a lot of spots So Herbert is so in who I could see someone taking Herbert Jaden Daniels No
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm an old too.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously a sophomore slump from him.
- 1:04:11[SPEAKER_02]: He's really been banged up this year too, but I've kind of been a doubter.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_02]: Like I could have I had like the third or fourth pick in a dynasty league this past year.
- 1:04:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's super flex and this is very interesting.
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_02]: And I took Rome a Dune Zay because I needed a wide out instead of him, which was a terrible
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_02]: Pick, but the reason why I didn't go with him is because I'm like he's a little strong man He's gonna get hurt.
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't really think much of The commander's offensive coordinator Kingsberry and then he only had one year production Which was at LSU and he had like fucking the jig wires White out and I forgot who else came out of LSU that I think you could like make you could make the case on upside Yes, right like you could you could do that and what how old is he?
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I mean, that's, that's your case right there.
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_01]: He could be really good.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_02]: Joe Burrell, who is 28.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's, this is where it starts to get tougher because like Joe again, he talked about Herbert not having Joe's always hurt because he's He's just getting roughed up every time he drops back.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know, like,
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_01]: This is that one does feel like you would maybe take him in the right situation.
- 1:05:27[SPEAKER_01]: He would be unstoppable.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's kind of what I think.
- 1:05:29[SPEAKER_01]: I think that is a guy that I would maybe rather have.
- 1:05:32[SPEAKER_01]: Cause I'll say, say, mate, right?
- 1:05:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's like 27, 28.
- 1:05:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he's 28.
- 1:05:36[SPEAKER_01]: I'm surprised he's the old actually.
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_01]: Lamar Jackson.
- 1:05:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's really hard to not take Lamar.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what this offense looks like, but man, that was so electric.
- 1:05:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I probably would do he's 28.
- 1:05:53[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:05:54[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I probably need my homes to Josh Allen.
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_02]: I would take Josh Allen.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I can love Josh Allen.
- 1:06:02[SPEAKER_02]: He's 29.
- 1:06:03[SPEAKER_02]: I'd probably take him to.
- 1:06:04[SPEAKER_02]: And then this is the tough one.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_02]: This is the guy who I have number one.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_02]: Drake may.
- 1:06:10[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you want to say yes because he's hot right now, but like,
- 1:06:17[SPEAKER_01]: It is just a little bit terrifying of like, what is he actually turn into?
- 1:06:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like how many guys come out and have a really good season and then their next season is just a debacle.
- 1:06:29[SPEAKER_01]: But if you've, I've really watched, I think like one or two games of him, and he's fucking dropping it in buckets.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_01]: So with the accuracy is there, he's consistent and I don't know, it doesn't, there's not a ton of talent around him either.
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_02]: Right, he's a really good deep ball thrower.
- 1:06:45[SPEAKER_02]: He can use his legs to, he's the guy I liked out of that draft.
- 1:06:48[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if I liked him more than Caleb, but I did really, you know, again, that, I think I said a couple of weeks ago.
- 1:06:53[SPEAKER_02]: That month when Jordan loved look terrible, I was like,
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe we're really, really bad when we take this guy and then Eleo Wolf for the Patriots, of course, ends up drafting him.
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, with the weapons, it's digs.
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's Kyle Williams.
- 1:07:06[SPEAKER_02]: It's Kishan booty.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_02]: It's hunter Henry.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's Trayvon Henderson You know, the rookie running back to you.
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_02]: So it's like not a great set of offensive specialists with them, but That's why I imagine Drake may if you put Drake may on the Vikings
- 1:07:23[SPEAKER_02]: like what is that look like right and that's what they wanted to do it's ludicrous they weren't allowed to they didn't have enough graphics to give up but yeah so it's like once you look at the landscape Jordan love i mean conservatively i'd say fifth or sixth in the league for guys that you would want right now yeah i think that that's probably right that's
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I would, I love having Jordan love to and the way he's been playing lately, he's kind of like settling in and I think you could make the case that on some of these if he ones like he could even be top five and it's fun to get the fade away.
- 1:07:58[SPEAKER_02]: Like now he's getting that thing that other people are talking.
- 1:08:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's wild that it's like that that's like a thing that he has now.
- 1:08:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's funny the identity like Rogers is the Hail Mary guy and now love is kind of turning into the fade away jumper like falling back makes a play.
- 1:08:13[SPEAKER_02]: So again, all the guys who you could probably make an argument for, Drake May, Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, Joe Burrell, Jayden Daniels, Justin Herbert, which are seven names there.
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_02]: And I, you know, I think you could argue pretty well that he'd be top five out of those top seven there.
- 1:08:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think you could toss out Herbert, maybe, and feel good about that too.
- 1:08:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, uh, with that, do you have the stump spiny for the week?
- 1:08:38[SPEAKER_01]: I do, so I don't know if you know this is, they're all related to the team we're about to play.
- 1:08:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, usually it's just, that was just me stalling.
- 1:08:45[SPEAKER_01]: We're playing the Broncos.
- 1:08:48[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so, uh, some spending, the packers last victory in Denver came in 2007. Who scored the game winning touchdown?
- 1:09:00[SPEAKER_01]: hit.
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_01]: It was an overtime.
- 1:09:04[SPEAKER_01]: There's actually two hits.
- 1:09:05[SPEAKER_02]: That was great Jennings.
- 1:09:06[SPEAKER_02]: That's okay.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_02]: That's a very easy one.
- 1:09:09[SPEAKER_02]: One of my favorite memories watching because I was in high school.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_02]: I was a freshman in high school, sophomore in high school, whatever it was.
- 1:09:17[SPEAKER_02]: And I still remember watching the game with my dad and it's like the balls in the air.
- 1:09:22[SPEAKER_02]: We see Greg Jennings catch him.
- 1:09:23[SPEAKER_02]: We both just jumped up and it was like, oh, but like the first plane overtime to.
- 1:09:27[SPEAKER_02]: And that was the terrible year of
- 1:09:30[SPEAKER_02]: Cornhizer, Mike Tree Co. before he was good, and Ron Jorarsky too, like they had three guys in Jorarsky, and it just did not work very well.
- 1:09:40[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, three guys in the booth doesn't work very well, no, no, not at all.
- 1:09:45[SPEAKER_01]: The actual hint was it came on the first play from Scrimmage over time, there you go.
- 1:09:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that was the, I think when people think of Greg Jennings, that is the play unless you're referencing the Madden YouTube video.
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_01]: When I think of great Jennings, I think of the catch in the Super Bowl where it gets absolutely clear that too.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_01]: That seems like such a hard ball that catch that, like to hold on.
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_02]: Like when I think of low-fi, replays, I think of... Oh, okay.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_02]: And I think of like, sure.
- 1:10:14[SPEAKER_02]: HDSh, I think, uh, Super Bowl.
- 1:10:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the preview we are playing the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
- 1:10:22[SPEAKER_02]: It is on CBS seven or seven three 25 kickoff, a crew of Nance Romo and Wolfson, the lady on the sideline up.
- 1:10:33[SPEAKER_02]: And then the week after this, then Tracy, the next Packer Bear game.
- 1:10:37[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to have Burkhardt, Brady and Aaron Andrews, Tom Renaldi again, which will be three times and four weeks getting the top crew from Fox.
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, wow.
- 1:10:45[SPEAKER_02]: Packers in Denver.
- 1:10:46[SPEAKER_02]: Did you see the line for this game?
- 1:10:49[SPEAKER_02]: I did not.
- 1:10:49[SPEAKER_02]: Guess the line.
- 1:10:54[SPEAKER_02]: Broncos one and a half.
- 1:10:56[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 1:10:57[SPEAKER_02]: Packers are two to two and a half point favorites depending on what book you go to, which the Broncos are 11 and two the best record in the NFL right now.
- 1:11:06[SPEAKER_02]: They just beat the Raiders 24 to 17 last week.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_02]: Sean Payton obviously the coach.
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_02]: If it's a coordinator is Vance Joseph if you remember he's really good DC back in the day and he was I was like what team did he coach for because I knew he's a head coach.
- 1:11:22[SPEAKER_02]: He was the Broncos head coach And like 2022 or 2020 I think so it's funny that he went back there.
- 1:11:29[SPEAKER_02]: Not as that was he
- 1:11:31[SPEAKER_02]: Was he like the interim or something though, wasn't that?
- 1:11:34[SPEAKER_02]: Man's Joseph.
- 1:11:35[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe, but I think he was, I think he was the actual head coach.
- 1:11:38[SPEAKER_02]: He's definitely been a head coach.
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it could have kept digging because I feel like maybe the Falcons or something he was, but for sure the defensive coordinator now, their offense pretty average.
- 1:11:50[SPEAKER_02]: They are scoring 23.7 points per game, which is 14th best.
- 1:11:55[SPEAKER_02]: They put up 342 yards, which is 10th best.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_02]: They're averaging 6.3 yards per pass, which is 29th best in the NFL.
- 1:12:03[SPEAKER_02]: They're 32 teams.
- 1:12:04[SPEAKER_02]: They're getting 4.6 yards per carry, which I think is top 10, top 5.
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_02]: I've ever got to write that down.
- 1:12:11[SPEAKER_02]: They pass 58th percent of the time, which is the 10th most in the league.
- 1:12:17[SPEAKER_02]: They give the ball once per game, which is 8th in the league, so they give it up quite a bit.
- 1:12:21[SPEAKER_02]: They also give up the least amount of sack, so a pretty good offensive line when they run the ball.
- 1:12:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's pretty good for the most part.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_02]: Boom nicks, again, second year quarterback, we just talked about them there a little earlier too.
- 1:12:33[SPEAKER_02]: 2,954 yards, 19 touchdowns, 9 picks, and 244 rushing yards with four touchdowns, wide-outs, Kurt Lynn Sutton.
- 1:12:45[SPEAKER_02]: Always like one because I was Portland USA Portland.
- 1:12:48[SPEAKER_02]: Well, they have Sutton or Kirkland they have Sutton and then they have It's your Tane Oh, sure and they both look a little similar.
- 1:12:59[SPEAKER_02]: So we get tripped up on it 700 73 yards 56 receptions five touchdowns he had ten targets last week
- 1:13:06[SPEAKER_02]: Troy Franklin is second on the team with fifty-one receptions five hundred forty-one yards and five touchdowns Pat Bryant the rookie has twenty-two and three-of-five one touchdown But he was second for them in yards last week.
- 1:13:19[SPEAKER_02]: He was a second-round pick.
- 1:13:20[SPEAKER_02]: I believe for them this past year
- 1:13:23[SPEAKER_02]: Marvin Mims is also one of their top receivers, but whatever.
- 1:13:26[SPEAKER_02]: Titan, Evan Ingram, has 40 receptions for 347 yards, the one touched down.
- 1:13:32[SPEAKER_02]: They get all their Titans involved, but none of them are all that great.
- 1:13:36[SPEAKER_02]: And then rookie RJ Harvey is their top back now after JK Dobbins somehow got hurt when he gets hurt every single year.
- 1:13:45[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if you remember.
- 1:13:45[SPEAKER_02]: He was with the chargers last year, got hurt with the chargers.
- 1:13:48[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know when you're dealing with four of that, he was with the Ravens and he always got banged up.
- 1:13:51[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, he has a three point our Harvey has a 3.9 yard average and five touchdowns, so not as good as JK who I think was averaging right around five defense.
- 1:14:02[SPEAKER_02]: Really good defense one of the best defenses in the league.
- 1:14:05[SPEAKER_02]: They're allowing 18.1 points per game, which is fourth best 282 yards, which is third best with that.
- 1:14:12[SPEAKER_02]: It's the lowest yards per play and the best third down defense in the league.
- 1:14:21[SPEAKER_02]: They also have the best red zone defense in the league Best run-D in the league allowing 3.7 yards per carry fourth best against the pass at 6.3 yards per pass They also have the number one sack team in the league.
- 1:14:37[SPEAKER_02]: They force 0.8 turnovers per game, which is 27th
- 1:14:41[SPEAKER_02]: And then again, the players, I mean, Patrick's or Tan, one of the best corners in the league.
- 1:14:46[SPEAKER_02]: Linebacker Nick Benito has two and a half sacks, 12 tackles for loss.
- 1:14:52[SPEAKER_02]: Linebacker Jonathan Cooper has seven and a half sacks.
- 1:14:55[SPEAKER_02]: Defense event, Zack Ellen has six.
- 1:14:58[SPEAKER_02]: They have 11 players on this defense with at least two sacks and 16 with at least half the sack.
- 1:15:05[SPEAKER_02]: Wow, which is a lot.
- 1:15:06[SPEAKER_02]: Do you know the one former packer on this Bronco's team?
- 1:15:10[SPEAKER_02]: He just got called up from the practice squad to the act of roster.
- 1:15:18[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, tie summers.
- 1:15:19[SPEAKER_02]: Big dog Mercedes Lewis Oh god, I saw that too a couple weeks ago that he got something I mean when you think practice squad you think shitty or younger players But yeah, he was on the practice squad for a couple weeks got called up and now he is on the 53 so he's one of like him I think it's a troutman and then Evan Ingraham I think there's one other guy too, but it would be interesting to see if he gets any snaps or it gets a ball thrown at a revenge game Yeah
- 1:15:45[SPEAKER_02]: That's the Broncos, again, I mean 11 and 2, one of the better records in the league.
- 1:15:50[SPEAKER_02]: They haven't really beat anyone.
- 1:15:51[SPEAKER_02]: That's all that great this year, either, but obviously playing in Denver that homefield advantage with the high altitude out there.
- 1:15:59[SPEAKER_02]: I think we played there four years ago in
- 1:16:05[SPEAKER_02]: or no, we played them, Jordan loves first year.
- 1:16:07[SPEAKER_02]: Those are one of the bad games where I think you threw a pick down the stretch, but three years later, he's much better, packers are much better, Todd would have your thoughts going into this game.
- 1:16:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think what's going to be interesting about this one too is not, I don't know, seemingly not being able to lean on the run much at all, that run defense is really good.
- 1:16:29[SPEAKER_01]: And they're just like, what was their nickname, like last year?
- 1:16:33[SPEAKER_01]: They were like, can tell you, the anonymous crush or something like that.
- 1:16:37[SPEAKER_01]: We're like, because like you don't know anybody, sure on the team, but their defense is so good.
- 1:16:45[SPEAKER_01]: Which I feel like makes them like that much more challenging because like they don't have any stark weaknesses where like obviously we are corners not great so if you can attack our corners you're in good shape right But they just seem like pretty well rounded from everything that I can tell so that makes me a little bit nervous of like how do we attack them
- 1:17:06[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and then just the inconsistencies on offense, um, with bonyx, uh, I think that's, I mean, hoping for continuing inconsistencies and not, because like some games, when bose on, when him and uh, Peyton are in their bag, it's, it's kind of scary.
- 1:17:24[SPEAKER_01]: They're a little bit of juggling off.
- 1:17:26[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, obviously, they're, they're 11 and two.
- 1:17:28[SPEAKER_01]: So, I mean, they're impressive at times.
- 1:17:31[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and again, like you were saying, good defense, it'll be interesting to see what they do.
- 1:17:36[SPEAKER_02]: You know, are they going to go heavy?
- 1:17:38[SPEAKER_02]: Just on some past protection plates?
- 1:17:39[SPEAKER_02]: Are we?
- 1:17:40[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure we're going to try to run the ball, probably not all that successfully.
- 1:17:43[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, it's a weird game.
- 1:17:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's weird to play in 112 team and just think they're like,
- 1:17:51[SPEAKER_02]: you know a good team like but not a great team you know like it feels like it should be hyped up a little bit more but I don't think anyone really thinks the Broncos are all that great like I don't I don't even think it's funny they had a bad schedule
- 1:18:06[SPEAKER_02]: Well, they play in the AFC West, which I think is pretty cake this year.
- 1:18:09[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they play the Raiders twice, um, there.
- 1:18:14[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see, again, they're coming off that victory too against the Raiders.
- 1:18:18[SPEAKER_02]: I forgot what they did the week before that.
- 1:18:21[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know a ton about the Broncos.
- 1:18:23[SPEAKER_02]: I don't really like Sean Peyton.
- 1:18:25[SPEAKER_02]: He's just kind of a meh.
- 1:18:26[SPEAKER_02]: Guy and had coach again.
- 1:18:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's like him and McCarthy were hired the same year, and it feels like a lot of people think like Sean Payton's Such a better coach than Mike McCarthy But he has he is having success this year.
- 1:18:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think there are halfway decent last year too, but since getting that quarterback obviously him and Russell Wilson That first year was terrible
- 1:18:46[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but yeah, I don't know.
- 1:18:49[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't be surprised if this is a low scoring game.
- 1:18:51[SPEAKER_02]: Again, I think it was 43 and a half points for an over under which isn't a lot.
- 1:18:57[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I don't know.
- 1:18:58[SPEAKER_02]: I could see it being a little rock fight here too.
- 1:19:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be a 325 again.
- 1:19:02[SPEAKER_02]: So maybe like get a little bit darker.
- 1:19:04[SPEAKER_02]: What is a rock fight?
- 1:19:05[SPEAKER_02]: When you pick up a rock, you know, okay, a rock.
- 1:19:09[SPEAKER_02]: How does that, what does that mean in a filter?
- 1:19:11[SPEAKER_02]: I don't imagine like cavemen almost like almost in the trenches.
- 1:19:15[SPEAKER_02]: Is that a real thing like people like that's gonna be a rock fight It's been I think it is a saying you can look it up and pretty sure it is the same With that Todd what is your prediction for this game?
- 1:19:28[SPEAKER_01]: So I actually score wise both defenses are
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_01]: very good, but kind of like we saw in the Cowboys game, I think this could also be a track mean.
- 1:19:40[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to say, it's not a prediction, not a rock fight.
- 1:19:44[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is a track, a track beat track, yeah, it's a track me.
- 1:19:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's thirty one twenty seven pack is what I have.
- 1:19:54[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm taking the overs.
- 1:19:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this one should.
- 1:19:57[SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say you should pound the over.
- 1:19:58[SPEAKER_02]: He think it's going to be that much pound the over.
- 1:20:00[SPEAKER_02]: What was Billy's score prediction?
- 1:20:05[SPEAKER_01]: Billy has.
- 1:20:08[SPEAKER_01]: He has Denver 16 Packers 13.
- 1:20:15[SPEAKER_02]: So he's dead or winning.
- 1:20:17[SPEAKER_01]: So we lose by, yeah, see, I would not be shocked by that either.
- 1:20:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is one that I think could go either way, right?
- 1:20:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like it could be any, I just pulled up the Broncos schedule and they have some blowouts where the defense gives up 30 points.
- 1:20:33[SPEAKER_01]: And they put up 40 and they have other games where it's 16 to seven.
- 1:20:38[SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, so it could, I don't know, I think they're a little bit inconsistent just across the board.
- 1:20:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, it'll be interesting on Sunday.
- 1:20:45[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see it might be a big game.
- 1:20:47[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it is, but like they probably need some respect and then I fell too after most people think they're just kind of mad.
- 1:20:53[SPEAKER_02]: My score prediction 27 to 24.
- 1:20:56[SPEAKER_02]: I have the Packers winning.
- 1:20:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know if it'll be a last second field goal or the defense just holds at the end of did you see they did play enter Sandman for my comparisons in the fourth quarter.
- 1:21:06[SPEAKER_01]: I heard I didn't actually see it, but I heard that it's not tweets that they did.
- 1:21:12[SPEAKER_02]: You could hear it on Fox.
- 1:21:13[SPEAKER_02]: I wish they could do it before or during the TV time out, so it builds up a lot more, but at least I guess they have to actually will be wrote about it.
- 1:21:22[SPEAKER_02]: The Packers have to pay for the rites for the songs that they play at Lamb to play it.
- 1:21:27[SPEAKER_02]: So they had to go and buy, enter Sam.
- 1:21:29[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's not really televised.
- 1:21:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't know if it's just because it's like promotional at Lambo or something and they have commercials and can you just like turn the touch tunes on and like hold the mic By like you've already paid for touch tunes like yeah, you know, yeah It's the touch tunes loop maybe it's funny because now because knowing that they were potentially going to play it I'm like listening to the songs and it's like again.
- 1:21:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's all just
- 1:21:54[SPEAKER_02]: old older like pump-up songs like a Sam Storm and John James one of them.
- 1:22:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's just sandstorm.
- 1:22:01[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's it.
- 1:22:02[SPEAKER_02]: I could be real.
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:22:04[SPEAKER_02]: What is your or Billy's bold prediction for this game?
- 1:22:08[SPEAKER_01]: Give you Billy's.
- 1:22:09[SPEAKER_01]: Billy's bold prediction is Packers will break a 60 plus yard kick off return.
- 1:22:17[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, okay.
- 1:22:18[SPEAKER_02]: I like that one.
- 1:22:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's awfully specific but what we will allow it.
- 1:22:22[UNKNOWN]: I
- 1:22:24[SPEAKER_01]: Um, for this one, I had, so the Broncos don't give up many touchdowns, uh, passing touchdowns, I should say, don't give it many touchdowns either.
- 1:22:33[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so I had Jordan love with three passing touchdowns.
- 1:22:37[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, I just had three, Luke before he had four.
- 1:22:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but.
- 1:22:44[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 1:22:45[SPEAKER_01]: They're pretty good.
- 1:22:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:22:48[SPEAKER_01]: I'm need four.
- 1:22:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to need three touchdown games.
- 1:22:50[SPEAKER_01]: I say how was your.
- 1:22:51[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, four.
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:22:52[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't have very many love right.
- 1:22:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, I think I think you're right, but he loves just like heating up right now.
- 1:23:01[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, well, we'll see what happens and then we'll decide next week if he give it to you or not we'll have three.
- 1:23:07[SPEAKER_02]: Now, it's four.
- 1:23:08[SPEAKER_02]: I guess maybe I shouldn't because my isn't super bold, but it is kind of bold actually.
- 1:23:12[SPEAKER_02]: I had a rip in here.
- 1:23:14[SPEAKER_02]: Remembering Greg Jennings game, a winner in OT with fire.
- 1:23:18[SPEAKER_02]: That was Greg Jennings rookie season.
- 1:23:20[SPEAKER_02]: I have Matthew Golden scoring his first career touchdown on Sundays.
- 1:23:25[SPEAKER_02]: Finally going to get off the Schneide.
- 1:23:28[SPEAKER_02]: He was not targeted last week.
- 1:23:30[SPEAKER_02]: He didn't play the week before that.
- 1:23:32[SPEAKER_02]: He has been very involved in the offense and just with it being Watson, Reed, Wix, fucking Bow, Melton now to Dobbs, who I didn't even mention.
- 1:23:41[SPEAKER_02]: It shouldn't happen, but maybe in Denver, we'll get a rookie a touchdown.
- 1:23:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that works.
- 1:23:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:23:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'd say so.
- 1:23:55[SPEAKER_02]: With that, that is the podcast.
- 1:23:57[SPEAKER_02]: Leave a five-star review on Apple or Spotify.
- 1:24:00[SPEAKER_02]: That'd be cool if you don't.
- 1:24:01[SPEAKER_02]: That's also cool, but hey, it's almost the Christmas season.
- 1:24:05[SPEAKER_02]: Just leave a little rating.
- 1:24:06[SPEAKER_02]: Just hit five on Apple or Spotify.
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like how you got to do.
- 1:24:10[SPEAKER_02]: Just use your thumb or your finger.
- 1:24:13[SPEAKER_01]: And do it.
- 1:24:14[SPEAKER_01]: Grab your significant others phone also rate it on their phone.
- 1:24:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's a nice way to just kind of boost the ratings.
- 1:24:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and if you do that, they, you know, it won't even show up on their end.
- 1:24:26[SPEAKER_01]: So it'll be fine.
- 1:24:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they won't keep getting.
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_01]: They'll be like, oh, a liar of my getting this Packers podcast keeps showing up all over the place.
- 1:24:34[SPEAKER_02]: And then you can comment on Spotify 2 or review if you do, we will read it.
- 1:24:39[SPEAKER_02]: We did get one comment this week.
- 1:24:42[SPEAKER_02]: This is from Logan, who says, Bears fans are so obnoxious this year, it's wild.
- 1:24:47[SPEAKER_02]: They talk so much shit and now they are making every excuse, including the Packers cheated and purposely made the field slippery.
- 1:24:53[SPEAKER_02]: He says,
- 1:24:55[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't see that, but I did see a clip of like five different bears slipping that did remind me of what three, four years ago when Viking fans were complaining that they slaughtered the field.
- 1:25:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's ridiculous, and it's like, I...
- 1:25:11[SPEAKER_01]: We've heard opposing teams' coaches say this before like, yeah, we tell our players to put the long cleats on and they don't listen and then this happens.
- 1:25:21[SPEAKER_02]: It's one of my favorite things to see and they did in this game too where they showed a bear's player like on the bench switching his cleats out during the game.
- 1:25:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yes, these idiots this guy slipped on the field for sure.
- 1:25:33[SPEAKER_02]: Login continues on anyways fuck the bears also only for only making one episode a week and me listening to podcasts 10 hours a day You guys were second in my Spotify wrapped you guys are my favorite podcast.
- 1:25:46[SPEAKER_02]: So keep it up and go pack.
- 1:25:48[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, very cool.
- 1:25:48[SPEAKER_02]: Very nice Love it.
- 1:25:50[SPEAKER_02]: Thanks Logan.
- 1:25:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I wonder how many of those stupid Spotify wraps.
- 1:25:53[SPEAKER_02]: We we popped up and I bet
- 1:25:56[SPEAKER_02]: I saw it on our end and I was like oh there's there is growth like every year.
- 1:25:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's like I don't There's at least like I don't know oh 10 to 25% growth but we need more we need we need more We need so much more and I love the comments.
- 1:26:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 1:26:10[SPEAKER_01]: If you have to pick one or the other don't rate it and just give more comments.
- 1:26:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:26:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you can do that.
- 1:26:16[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 1:26:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm
- 1:26:16[SPEAKER_01]: Is that the official statement of the pod?
- 1:26:18[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 1:26:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I think that's a pretty good this year too Where we've had a comment like every single week in season.
- 1:26:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's the best.
- 1:26:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and the guy who Drunk.
- 1:26:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, drunk message the pod.
- 1:26:32[SPEAKER_01]: Just keep it up.
- 1:26:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Mike Logan might have been the one love it Did it Mike was the one who deleted his comments.
- 1:26:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh
- 1:26:43[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody whoever whoever you are please just get hammer.
- 1:26:47[SPEAKER_01]: It was just we all love the friend who gets a little too drunk and Said something funny.
- 1:26:53[SPEAKER_01]: It was great.
- 1:26:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, cuz then the next week.
- 1:26:55[SPEAKER_02]: It was I don't remember leaving that comment With that got a little I think it's a little bit shorter of an episode actually It was do we forget to talk about something?
- 1:27:06[SPEAKER_02]: offense defense special teams Jordan love
- 1:27:11[SPEAKER_02]: play out.
- 1:27:12[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we kind of touched on play house.
- 1:27:13[SPEAKER_02]: We don't want to talk about playoffs every week, but it looks pretty good.
- 1:27:16[SPEAKER_02]: We have like, it's weird.
- 1:27:17[SPEAKER_02]: We have like a 10% chance to get the one seed, but it's not going to happen.
- 1:27:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's too much out of our hands.
- 1:27:24[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I looked at that.
- 1:27:25[SPEAKER_02]: If the, if the Rams lose one and we went out, it's like, right, the other one I saw is if we went out, we have a 60% chance to have the one seed.
- 1:27:36[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm like, I feel like it should be higher than that.
- 1:27:39[SPEAKER_01]: because I think you have to have the Rams lose like twice, don't you?
- 1:27:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe.
- 1:27:43[SPEAKER_01]: If we lose a game, there's like no chance.
- 1:27:46[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 1:27:46[SPEAKER_02]: But I think if like if we went out in the Seahawks lose one, and the Rams lose one, then we'd be in.
- 1:27:52[SPEAKER_02]: I'm almost positive on that, but I could be wrong, too.
- 1:27:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, cuz don't the siox have a better record than us.
- 1:27:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think I think they yeah, they have one more win than we do cuz we have that stupid tie They're nine and three.
- 1:28:05[SPEAKER_02]: We so cool if we just beat the cowboys or we or we didn't lose to the fucking browns That would yeah, honestly that's even the better one is like just don't lose to the browns like then But it sucks to the that's how we we had the flacko browns like no one else had the flacko browns.
- 1:28:20[SPEAKER_02]: They were Okay, it's then I'm gonna say
- 1:28:25[SPEAKER_01]: against us they were okay they were they also have i mean i don't know like what what is does my austere to have a nickname like what do we call him he needs a nickname and yeah he must but i don't know what it is i just know him is my austere it he's just i'll find out he's so big and strong it's tough to give him like a nickname
- 1:28:47[SPEAKER_01]: Miles Garrett superman.
- 1:28:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, see a flash dumb.
- 1:28:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I feel like I've seen that Beast These are incredibly general.
- 1:28:59[SPEAKER_01]: Also dumb.
- 1:29:01[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think this is real.
- 1:29:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think I made this up a big foot.
- 1:29:04[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 1:29:04[SPEAKER_02]: I don't mind that one But I'd never heard it before this and he's been the ear for late or been in the league for 10 years
- 1:29:12[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, it's definitely making stuff up.
- 1:29:14[SPEAKER_01]: Megaladon, it's definitely not, that's the name, uh, the Velasa sackedor, the Velasa sackedor.
- 1:29:22[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's really good, but he looks nothing to do with him.
- 1:29:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, uh, with that Todd, I do not have anything else, do you have anything else?
- 1:29:34[SPEAKER_01]: I do.
- 1:29:34[SPEAKER_01]: This is a fun fact from Billy that I figured I would share.
- 1:29:37[SPEAKER_01]: The floor has now won six straight challenges this year after only having seven overturned in the last three years combined.
- 1:29:47[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that is good.
- 1:29:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that is a good one.
- 1:29:49[SPEAKER_02]: He's been hot lately with the two six.
- 1:29:53[SPEAKER_01]: The streak is really good.
- 1:29:55[SPEAKER_01]: Do I always agree with like, was that worth challenging?
- 1:29:58[SPEAKER_01]: No, like what was the one that he challenged?
- 1:30:00[SPEAKER_01]: Because he won two.
- 1:30:01[SPEAKER_01]: There was one against the lions for like four yards.
- 1:30:04[SPEAKER_01]: But he got it.
- 1:30:05[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I was going to, I was going to say the one that he challenged.
- 1:30:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like the spot of the ball or something like that.
- 1:30:10[SPEAKER_01]: When Caleb slept.
- 1:30:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 1:30:11[SPEAKER_01]: It was second down.
- 1:30:13[SPEAKER_01]: And they had essentially inches to go.
- 1:30:16[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, I don't, who cares?
- 1:30:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like give him a word?
- 1:30:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it forced third down.
- 1:30:21[SPEAKER_02]: I don't remember what happened.
- 1:30:25[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, so if it works, it works.
- 1:30:27[SPEAKER_02]: You got a free one.
- 1:30:28[SPEAKER_01]: You know that everyone's favorite really get a it's true But like if you're wrong now you're done.
- 1:30:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so anyways, okay?
- 1:30:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's a little statin.
- 1:30:39[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, metal floor.
- 1:30:40[SPEAKER_02]: He has like the second most wins all time for a coaches had Coach your team for seven years
- 1:30:49[SPEAKER_02]: Caspen 7 years.
