- 0:35Speaker 1: the age of four years old. She's a graduate from
- 0:38Speaker 1: Jackson State University HBCU and earned a Bachelor of Science
- 0:43Speaker 1: degree in criminal justice. She is the founder of Doll
- 0:46Speaker 1: Doll House Studios Arthur and star of the hit Lifetime

- 0:53Speaker 1: to continue our discussion of her book Standing in the

- 1:01Speaker 1: That's something I'm excited about. Please welcome back to money
- 1:04Speaker 1: making Conversations, Miss Diana Williams. Good morning, Diana. What city
- 1:12Speaker 1: are you in, my friend? What city are you in? Well,
- 1:14Speaker 1: I'm in Jackson, Mississippi. Today The Dancing Dollars of Jackson
- 1:18Speaker 1: start their audition process an intake for new members. So
- 1:22Speaker 1: I am here with them all week long. Now what
- 1:26Speaker 1: is the explain that process to me right here? Because
- 1:29Speaker 1: of the fact that last time we're gonna show people,
- 1:31Speaker 1: shall you really get in detail about how how my
- 1:35Speaker 1: kids can get involved? And I want to make sure
- 1:37Speaker 1: that I don't miss that, So you you open the door,
- 1:40Speaker 1: explain the process because you're not only in Jackson, but
- 1:43Speaker 1: you're also in Birmingham, and you also have studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Correct, correct, Okay,
- 1:50Speaker 1: but right now you're doing intake for Jackson, Mississippi studio.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Talk to us about that. Well, for the dancing doll,
- 1:56Speaker 1: the dancers dogs are a separate of the dollhouse Dames factory.
- 1:59Speaker 1: The dancing doll just practice inside of the doghouse dance factory.
- 2:02Speaker 1: There's a huge misconception there about how the company runs
- 2:06Speaker 1: our studio is etcetera, etcetera. So when remember the one
- 2:09Speaker 1: the audition wasn't for the dancing dolls competition dance team.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I always suggest that they start off taking class. Don't
- 2:16Speaker 1: where that teaches major rette in hip hop, because those
- 2:19Speaker 1: those types of backgrounds are what you will need in
- 2:21Speaker 1: order to be successful on the team. Although it is
- 2:24Speaker 1: not required, it is definitely suggested because while she takes
- 2:27Speaker 1: those class that makes it so much easier for you
- 2:29Speaker 1: to make the team. Getting training before actually trying to
- 2:32Speaker 1: get the job is what you want to try to do.
- 2:35Speaker 1: So that's exactly what I expressed to everyone. But even
- 2:38Speaker 1: though some people don't don't take the training process prior
- 2:41Speaker 1: to and they just show up for the audition prodest
- 2:43Speaker 1: we do the best that we can to train them
- 2:46Speaker 1: prior to the actual audition itself. The dance will come
- 2:49Speaker 1: in and all ages five to eight teams. They're all
- 2:52Speaker 1: different sides from all different backgrounds. You know, we don't discriminate.
- 2:55Speaker 1: We want everybody. You want, anybody that wants to dance,
- 2:58Speaker 1: has an idea of what it is to take to
- 3:00Speaker 1: do what it is that we do. We want them
- 3:02Speaker 1: to come. We want to have them there, so having
- 3:04Speaker 1: them around is definitely fun. Some kids make it and
- 3:07Speaker 1: some kids don't, but it's always a fun place that
- 3:10Speaker 1: especially seeing the kids grow throughout the course of the
- 3:12Speaker 1: week and putting their best foot forward. Now, what makes
- 3:16Speaker 1: you unique because there's a lot of people out there,
- 3:18Speaker 1: you know, I'm always hunting for the next though, I'm
- 3:21Speaker 1: always looking hunting for the Miss Diana Williams so I
- 3:24Speaker 1: can create me a hit reality show. What makes you special,
- 3:27Speaker 1: Miss Williams, Well, everything about me makes me special, very
- 3:30Speaker 1: different created. It's not stop stop stop stop you too much,
- 3:36Speaker 1: stop stop right there, stop right there everywhere, but no, seriously,
- 3:41Speaker 1: like what about me, I'm just different from most people
- 3:44Speaker 1: that you would that. You know, people will give up
- 3:46Speaker 1: a lot of time to do what it is that
- 3:48Speaker 1: they do, and I am definitely one of those people.
- 3:50Speaker 1: But what makes me different, I think, is the fact
- 3:53Speaker 1: that I give selflessness, selfless, selfless, selflessly, I should say,
- 3:58Speaker 1: without even looking back, I have done a lot of
- 4:01Speaker 1: things for kids that probably wouldn't even though they're I'm
- 4:04Speaker 1: even doing the things that I'm doing for them in
- 4:06Speaker 1: the background. You know, some parents don't even know that
- 4:09Speaker 1: I cover fees for them even when they don't have
- 4:12Speaker 1: the money to pay it, and I know that something's
- 4:14Speaker 1: going on with them, I take care of it. I'm
- 4:16Speaker 1: always reaching out to other kids to try to see
- 4:18Speaker 1: what they're doing wrong as far as school be concerned,
- 4:21Speaker 1: to try to assist them on that level. Like I'm
- 4:23Speaker 1: not just a typical coach that sits in coaching students
- 4:26Speaker 1: team in the studio. I'm all in their business. I
- 4:28Speaker 1: want to know what they're doing, where they're going, who
- 4:31Speaker 1: they're talking to. I want to know about your grades.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Don't want to go at you doing your chores at
- 4:34Speaker 1: home like you doing them on your third And I
- 4:36Speaker 1: don't want to know it all because I can figure
- 4:38Speaker 1: out how to make you the best topical with you
- 4:40Speaker 1: possible and that's what the ultimate goal. Let me ask
- 4:42Speaker 1: you this, so, so do you do do do you
- 4:45Speaker 1: have like scholarships? There are cold individual purchase scholarships that
- 4:49Speaker 1: could be donated to a student who can't afford to
- 4:53Speaker 1: ten your studios or how does they work? Or are
- 4:56Speaker 1: creating a problem for you because they've gotta have the
- 4:58Speaker 1: talent to attend Sean, they gotta make the cut. So
- 5:01Speaker 1: just the Dance Results is a community based organization. We're
- 5:06Speaker 1: not a finance We're not a federally fund organization. It's
- 5:10Speaker 1: funding finance from my pockets mostly. You know, the parents
- 5:14Speaker 1: do pay money for uniforms, but all the parents don't
- 5:17Speaker 1: always pay like their souls too, who do what they
- 5:19Speaker 1: need to do. So then the financial responsibility falls on me.
- 5:22Speaker 1: If it's been like that for the last eighteen years,
- 5:26Speaker 1: you know. So unfortunately, we can't offer scholarships because the
- 5:29Speaker 1: money for the scholarship becomes to me and I have
- 5:31Speaker 1: my own child that I have to focus on and
- 5:33Speaker 1: worry about. But if there are people out there that
- 5:36Speaker 1: would love to donate money to the kids, I would
- 5:39Speaker 1: love to have that money to be placed on their
- 5:40Speaker 1: account so that if they are running behind on fees,
- 5:43Speaker 1: or if their parents that need extra money for travel
- 5:46Speaker 1: or what have you. Absolutely well we would take donations
- 5:49Speaker 1: all day long. Okay, cool, you're gonna get a donation
- 5:51Speaker 1: from Rush McDonald. We appreciate that we have several kids,
- 5:56Speaker 1: especially in the Atlanta area. I know, for fact, I
- 5:58Speaker 1: have a pared a pen up to I will not
- 6:01Speaker 1: name her name. Um I covered her fee for her
- 6:03Speaker 1: kids for the full year just so they were able
- 6:06Speaker 1: to come, but then her car broke down and she
- 6:09Speaker 1: wasn't able to even get them there. So it was
- 6:12Speaker 1: like one thing happening after after another. Is I know
- 6:14Speaker 1: she would definitely be appreciated, appreciate and assistance. Well, I'm
- 6:18Speaker 1: serious because of the fact that, uh, I do it
- 6:21Speaker 1: for Wendy were Carol Robinson, she has a school for
- 6:23Speaker 1: an acting school, and uh, this California, My wife and
- 6:28Speaker 1: I would purchased ten scholarships annually. It's we've been doing
- 6:33Speaker 1: it for like ten years. And uh, I don't consider
- 6:36Speaker 1: you my little sister now, miss Williams. Okay, appreciate. I
- 6:40Speaker 1: gotta bring you on board into the phone. We gotta
- 6:43Speaker 1: introduce you to my wife so she can she can say, Okay,
- 6:46Speaker 1: we're good because because you're doing Because that's the point
- 6:51Speaker 1: that I wanted to bring back on the show. Because
- 6:53Speaker 1: of the fact that you know, the show edits you
- 6:57Speaker 1: know energy, they they don't they don't allow the story
- 7:00Speaker 1: to be told, a big story to be told. And
- 7:03Speaker 1: when he was on the show, I was like, really
- 7:05Speaker 1: at all of the Shark conversation, I went there so
- 7:07Speaker 1: much more we should be talking about. And I told
- 7:09Speaker 1: you that when you was in the studio, go, I
- 7:11Speaker 1: gotta bring you back because you come back on my show.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Because of the fact that a lot of people, especially
- 7:16Speaker 1: like I'm from Chicago from a standpoint, I worked there
- 7:19Speaker 1: like five years, and dance clubs and dancing is really
- 7:23Speaker 1: big in Chicago, and I know how impactful that is
- 7:26Speaker 1: in the Chicago community. And the fact that you now
- 7:29Speaker 1: have studios in Jackson, Mississippi, and Birmingham, Alabama, in Atlanta, Georgia.
- 7:35Speaker 1: What is the what is the tim Is there a
- 7:37Speaker 1: limit to what you're gonna do? Or talk about the
- 7:40Speaker 1: reason why you expanding like that like this there one
- 7:44Speaker 1: of the biggest reasons why the expansion the chances theories,
- 7:47Speaker 1: because being able to have an outreach program that reaches
- 7:51Speaker 1: out or literally outward house side of the state line
- 7:55Speaker 1: is something that's important to make sure that you can
- 7:57Speaker 1: reach as many people in the box and out of
- 7:59Speaker 1: platforms down home with the the TV show has given
- 8:02Speaker 1: me the opportunity to leave so many people and to
- 8:05Speaker 1: be around so many people, and the fact that my
- 8:09Speaker 1: studio was just in one stationariest way. Everybody couldn't get
- 8:12Speaker 1: right understood that. But I have the opportunity and the
- 8:15Speaker 1: meaning to be able to give to them. So it
- 8:18Speaker 1: just made sense for me to say, you know what, Diana,
- 8:21Speaker 1: why not just open up the studio or location in
- 8:24Speaker 1: their areas and go to them. So everybody can't always
- 8:28Speaker 1: go where you need them to go, Everybody can't always
- 8:30Speaker 1: see where you need them to be here. Everybody can
- 8:32Speaker 1: always do what you actually can do so it's important
- 8:35Speaker 1: that celebrities that they have an opportunity to use a
- 8:37Speaker 1: platform that I gave them in the first place, that
- 8:39Speaker 1: you use it. And that's that's what I've been trying
- 8:41Speaker 1: to do, right. I always like this, doll Halls Dance
- 8:45Speaker 1: Factory promote high self esteem, determination, persistence, high academic achievement,
- 8:53Speaker 1: community involvement, and the importance of health and young women
- 8:57Speaker 1: through the art of dance. That's powerful. That's probably what
- 9:03Speaker 1: guts you through that process. Diana, Well, that's the statement
- 9:07Speaker 1: I just made. Well, I for me, as a kid,
- 9:11Speaker 1: I grew up going to different dance schools that didn't
- 9:14Speaker 1: celebrate me. And what I mean by that is that
- 9:18Speaker 1: they didn't celebrate the African American faith, the African American body,
- 9:23Speaker 1: or the African American people. I was just another spec
- 9:27Speaker 1: in the room. I've always tried to explain to the
- 9:32Speaker 1: kids that I coach and I teach that there is
- 9:34Speaker 1: a world out there that is so much bigger than you.
- 9:37Speaker 1: If you take the small thing that you're given, utilize
- 9:42Speaker 1: the education. Because we go to some kids going to
- 9:44Speaker 1: public school, are you hidding a free education? Utilize the
- 9:49Speaker 1: education that you are getting put forwards Okay, We're gonna
- 9:54Speaker 1: be right back with more with Diana Williams. Um Bring
- 9:57Speaker 1: It Live Tour, I gotta talk about that next on
- 10:00Speaker 1: more money Making Conversations. Hi, just Reachard McDonald. My guess
- 10:06Speaker 1: is h I like to believe that she understands the
- 10:09Speaker 1: value of multiple streams of income. UM she is now
- 10:13Speaker 1: as a dollhouse, dance factory studio and um Birmingham, Alabama,
- 10:19Speaker 1: one of my favorite towns. Started in Jackson, Mississippi, been
- 10:23Speaker 1: there by four or five times and now Atlanta, Georgia.
- 10:27Speaker 1: She's on the phone to talk about the Bring It
- 10:29Speaker 1: Live Tour. What is the Bring It Live Tour? Ms Williams, Well,
- 10:35Speaker 1: to Bring It Live Tour isn't up close from your
- 10:38Speaker 1: pace version of what you see on and it's just
- 10:42Speaker 1: a live versions. People get a chance to really see
- 10:45Speaker 1: me being me because on the TV show they don't
- 10:48Speaker 1: really show my natural personality. They just showed me coaching. No,
- 10:52Speaker 1: they don't show me actually engaging with the fans. As
- 10:55Speaker 1: to Bring It Live Tour, I'm literally in the crowd,
- 10:58Speaker 1: eyes of offs to stay age. I'm in the crowd
- 11:01Speaker 1: with everyone running around, cracking jokes. The kids are dancing.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Of course, there's the live performances on this year's who
- 11:09Speaker 1: are from Kayla who has been on this on the
- 11:11Speaker 1: show this the show started Sunday who was one of
- 11:14Speaker 1: the original castumers of the show. Keen Jane, Princess Asia
- 11:19Speaker 1: the current captain of the team in Jackson Macaiah and
- 11:22Speaker 1: it's a it's a great show. It's amazing to come
- 11:26Speaker 1: and see the girls dance live. You've got a lot
- 11:28Speaker 1: of the girls who've been on the show previously to
- 11:30Speaker 1: graduate and to mourn, so they will not be on
- 11:33Speaker 1: the on the tour this year, but the girls that
- 11:35Speaker 1: are coming on the tour this year are phenomenal. It's
- 11:38Speaker 1: an amazing show to come and sit and watch. Okay,
- 11:40Speaker 1: how long is the show and how does the show work?
- 11:42Speaker 1: Do you come out to a big fanfare? How what
- 11:46Speaker 1: is the what is the layout is it in like
- 11:47Speaker 1: a what size of the theaters that you put into
- 11:50Speaker 1: a stage? What is the set up the theaters? Anywhere
- 11:54Speaker 1: between two thousands to five thousand city theaters. It is
- 11:57Speaker 1: a ninety minute show of a shantact performances. There's a
- 12:01Speaker 1: huge brand opening number, there's a lot of fans stuff
- 12:06Speaker 1: in the middle where there's battles amongst the fans, battles
- 12:08Speaker 1: amongst the girls. This year's tour, it's all about the fans.
- 12:11Speaker 1: But having the fans involved in it, it's definitely gonna
- 12:14Speaker 1: be the game changer for this year's tour. And then
- 12:17Speaker 1: there's a huge grand finale. And then there's me in
- 12:20Speaker 1: the lobby after the show's signing autographs and you're not
- 12:26Speaker 1: tying that's that's sample you. You're not even tying name
- 12:31Speaker 1: a minute, you jumping off the stage in the crowd,
- 12:34Speaker 1: interacted dancing, and after the show, I'm smiling and signing
- 12:37Speaker 1: an autograph, selling t shirts. Absolutely absolutely so with this tour.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Who thought of this idea because of the fact that
- 12:46Speaker 1: it seems so natural if it kind of reminds me
- 12:49Speaker 1: of uh, like you know, the Universal Soul Tour, that
- 12:52Speaker 1: type of energetic to you know that that people would
- 12:55Speaker 1: like to be a part of it. The dancing that
- 12:57Speaker 1: do you look do like dance offs in there? Telling
- 13:00Speaker 1: down you bring it that a little bit more fun
- 13:02Speaker 1: me here, Well, you're a branding line tour has it
- 13:05Speaker 1: has competitions amongst the fans. I pulled fans up on
- 13:08Speaker 1: stage who at the most unsuspecting ones and the most intertining.
- 13:13Speaker 1: They have their battles to give each other, throwing their
- 13:15Speaker 1: hits in the circle, throwing in here at each other,
- 13:17Speaker 1: snack and there he is each other face of Kyle's
- 13:19Speaker 1: speed Up too on the show because it's a lot
- 13:22Speaker 1: of fun. It is a family, fun friendly environment. Everybody.
- 13:26Speaker 1: It's all ages. It's not no specific rates. We're all
- 13:30Speaker 1: in their mix together. Okay, So it's the tour happening
- 13:32Speaker 1: now or have we missed some dates or some dates
- 13:35Speaker 1: in the future. Tell me about it. Well, the tour
- 13:37Speaker 1: doesn't start until late June and it goes all the
- 13:40Speaker 1: way through August and fourth. Okause, know what that means.
- 13:43Speaker 1: You be back on my show late may you know,
- 13:46Speaker 1: early June so we can promote this. You're gonna give
- 13:49Speaker 1: me some banners. I'm already told you I'm donating in
- 13:52Speaker 1: the Atlantis and some of these kids and stuff like that.
- 13:55Speaker 1: What's the age group of the kids who participate your academy. Well,
- 14:00Speaker 1: you have to be at least three years old. Yeah,
- 14:04Speaker 1: three years old all the way up into age eighteen.
- 14:08Speaker 1: You know how much patient you have to have for
- 14:09Speaker 1: a three year olifter trying to dance, trying to get listen.
- 14:14Speaker 1: I'm fine. Then my staff is able to handle it.
- 14:17Speaker 1: But they do. They are the cutest fluence with the tiniestaliation.
- 14:20Speaker 1: They've everything in your life that they all grow in
- 14:23Speaker 1: six weeks. You know that, right, Yes, I know. But
- 14:30Speaker 1: here's the thing about it. You seem to be in
- 14:32Speaker 1: such a good place in your life. Are you your energy?
- 14:35Speaker 1: You you have a such a direction of where you
- 14:38Speaker 1: want to take your brand? Am I seeing the right things?
- 14:42Speaker 1: And I am I feeling, uh, just this passion for
- 14:45Speaker 1: you know that you you understand who you are and
- 14:47Speaker 1: who you can be. Absolutely I think that you know.
- 14:51Speaker 1: I'm forty years old and I have I've been through
- 14:53Speaker 1: a lot of course of my life, you know, trying
- 14:57Speaker 1: to get to where I am and did not happen overnight.
- 14:59Speaker 1: I have and homeless, I slept on floors, I slept
- 15:02Speaker 1: in my car. I've had my car and repossessed. You know,
- 15:05Speaker 1: I have been through a lot to get to where
- 15:07Speaker 1: I am. And I just have to say that anybody
- 15:10Speaker 1: that has a dream of being an entrepreneur, don't think
- 15:14Speaker 1: that you're gonna make money right away. You have to
- 15:17Speaker 1: know how to blind even when the grind puts put
- 15:21Speaker 1: you down. Even when the brind turn this back on you,
- 15:23Speaker 1: you can't give you not to know your work and
- 15:26Speaker 1: who you are. Always put God first. Pray, pray about
- 15:30Speaker 1: all of it. Pray when it's good, or pray when
- 15:32Speaker 1: it's bad, play when it's ugly. Pray period, because no
- 15:35Speaker 1: matter what you try to do, you can't do anything
- 15:37Speaker 1: without haven't got in the fourth round. He has got
- 15:39Speaker 1: to be the key was out for the Omega, the
- 15:42Speaker 1: beginning to ending. It's gotta be about him because if not,
- 15:45Speaker 1: you'll never succeed as an entrepreneur. I have I have
- 15:49Speaker 1: a story, like I said in my in my book
- 15:51Speaker 1: Standing in the Shape, that will blow your mind. My
- 15:54Speaker 1: story is definitely one of those wars you would sit
- 15:56Speaker 1: back and say, whoa, how is she even still living?
- 16:00Speaker 1: How is she even still walking and breathe? And how
- 16:01Speaker 1: is she even still giving up every day? And it's
- 16:04Speaker 1: not the grace of God that I am able to
- 16:06Speaker 1: do all of what I do. I have to give
- 16:08Speaker 1: it to God. Without him, I would be nowhere and nothing. Okay,
- 16:14Speaker 1: it's it's the Diana Williams show. I'm sorry I'm telling you,
- 16:20Speaker 1: but this is why I love her, because she she
- 16:23Speaker 1: knows Okay, let's let's go back. You know, uh, your book.
- 16:28Speaker 1: You know, we talked about it last time. Your relationship
- 16:31Speaker 1: with your mom was was it's not the perfect relationship?
- 16:35Speaker 1: What did you learn about the relationship with your mom?
- 16:38Speaker 1: And you've been because I feel like you're a giant mom.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Now you're a mom. Do these kids you because you're
- 16:44Speaker 1: so all the things that you talk about a mom
- 16:47Speaker 1: will do for their child. And so I feel that
- 16:51Speaker 1: you know now your mom and jacksone, that's where you started.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Now your mom in Birmingham, now your mom in Atlanta,
- 16:56Speaker 1: and so that's that's a lot of emotional and with
- 17:00Speaker 1: that you're putting out there. How do you? How do you?
- 17:03Speaker 1: How do you? How do you hold yourself together? I'm
- 17:08Speaker 1: normal like anyone else, So I cry, you know. I
- 17:11Speaker 1: try to not stress about it, even though that's hard
- 17:14Speaker 1: because you're dealing with so many personalities when you're dealing
- 17:16Speaker 1: with girls. As would always says, women are emotional creatures.
- 17:20Speaker 1: So when you're dealing with girls, there's different attitudes and
- 17:23Speaker 1: all that there. I try my best to literally place
- 17:27Speaker 1: myself in their shoes and understand every situation. But I've
- 17:31Speaker 1: learned to not take it home. I used to take
- 17:34Speaker 1: home so much of the stress on these kids, but
- 17:36Speaker 1: I didn't fleet. There were times I wouldn't eat, that
- 17:38Speaker 1: I was so much stress and over when I even
- 17:41Speaker 1: lost weight because of some of the stress dealing with
- 17:43Speaker 1: a lot of what it is that I do. But
- 17:46Speaker 1: because I know that this is the purpose that God
- 17:48Speaker 1: gave me, then I know that having this weight on you,
- 17:52Speaker 1: it's the reason why you're able to be so successful.
- 17:55Speaker 1: That I is not gonna ever give you more than
- 17:56Speaker 1: you can be at people saying all the time, but
- 17:58Speaker 1: I am a walking talking to estimate because that I
- 18:01Speaker 1: have watched kids that have been for abusive halls, broken halls,
- 18:06Speaker 1: parents walk out on their abandoned kids, kids that our
- 18:08Speaker 1: foster kids. We have had a lot of kids come
- 18:10Speaker 1: through our programs, and I literally take it all in.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I'd have I'd have foster present so I understand what
- 18:17Speaker 1: it's like. I understand what it's like to love your
- 18:19Speaker 1: mom and your mom not always love you back, but
- 18:21Speaker 1: then in the end, like my mom and I now
- 18:23Speaker 1: we have a great relationship. Now, I think that you know,
- 18:26Speaker 1: with everything that I've gone and having to deal with
- 18:29Speaker 1: so much of what I dealt with, I think that
- 18:32Speaker 1: it created more of a fund with us because she
- 18:34Speaker 1: didn't know. Now she she got my books, I didn't
- 18:37Speaker 1: want her to read it. I'm gonna be honest. I
- 18:39Speaker 1: did not want my mom to read my book. Of
- 18:40Speaker 1: a lot of stuff that it's in the book, I
- 18:43Speaker 1: never told her. I kept it to myself. As most kids,
- 18:46Speaker 1: you know, we we bottle things up as adults and
- 18:48Speaker 1: even as children. We bottled things up and we cheaper
- 18:51Speaker 1: to ourselves. And I did that for a long time.
- 18:53Speaker 1: That book set me free. It set me free. I'm
- 18:57Speaker 1: able to talk about things that I hadn't ever spoken
- 19:00Speaker 1: out loud about before. And it was a necessary evil.
- 19:02Speaker 1: I needed to do that my mom and No, Now
- 19:05Speaker 1: we're good. You know, we're in a good place. Now
- 19:07Speaker 1: we crack dogs, you sing, text you on and emoio covers.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Speaking of emoji, she downloaded my emoji app and she
- 19:16Speaker 1: keeps sitting the same one. I'm like, why do you
- 19:19Speaker 1: keep seeing that one? She said, because it looks like
- 19:20Speaker 1: me and I could do that. I'm like, kids, right,
- 19:24Speaker 1: tell us about this emoji app? How did this start? Well? Uh,
- 19:29Speaker 1: my publicist, Erica brought to me um an idea to
- 19:32Speaker 1: do emojis because my personality is so vibrant, and why
- 19:36Speaker 1: wouldn't people want to have text messaging conversation utilizing gifts
- 19:42Speaker 1: that look like being talk like me and act like me.
- 19:44Speaker 1: You know, we have women are fights to create yourself.
- 19:47Speaker 1: We have some fights to them and we have these
- 19:49Speaker 1: conversations where we snap our things and roll our next
- 19:52Speaker 1: and we go through the whole, the whole motion. And
- 19:54Speaker 1: it just makes sense to have an emoji that the
- 19:58Speaker 1: fiilize all those things. You can t the whole conversation
- 20:01Speaker 1: with my emojis without even texting one word. That's just
- 20:04Speaker 1: how good they are. That's fun. It sounds, it sounds
- 20:10Speaker 1: like you. It's only available on Time iPhone right now.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Android out later because I'm Android now. I'm an Android
- 20:20Speaker 1: guy now. And you know that the dominant uh Android
- 20:24Speaker 1: is the dominant brand for the African American community. Is
- 20:26Speaker 1: gonna let you know what. You gotta get over to
- 20:28Speaker 1: the Android side. That's where most of the African American
- 20:31Speaker 1: users are Android users. I wentn't close, and I just
- 20:34Speaker 1: want to thank you for coming back on my show.
- 20:36Speaker 1: I want to thank you for being the I justify
- 20:40Speaker 1: me for bringing you back because you're a special young lady,
- 20:42Speaker 1: and I'm a fan of yours. Um, have my staff
- 20:45Speaker 1: reach out to you so I can get that check
- 20:46Speaker 1: to you to support some of your these underprivileged kids
- 20:50Speaker 1: in the line of Georgia. Know that I'm a fan.
- 20:52Speaker 1: I know you're gonna be back on the shore and
- 20:53Speaker 1: late May. So who could promote the bring it live
