- 0:01Speaker 1: So there are rumors going around that there's a lot
- 0:03Speaker 1: of infighting within the Democratic Party, specifically with elected officials
- 0:08Speaker 1: ahead of this big debate that's going to take place
- 0:11Speaker 1: this week. Senate Democrats now seem to be coalescing around
- 0:16Speaker 1: one another to.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Quote squash the rumors.
- 0:19Speaker 1: The President Joe Biden in fact, might be replaced as
- 0:23Speaker 1: the nominee before the Democratic National Convention in August because
- 0:28Speaker 1: of concerns over his age, and honestly, more than that,
- 0:32Speaker 1: his poll numbers right now now Joe Biden, in theory
- 0:36Speaker 1: has a zero point four percent lead over former President
- 0:39Speaker 1: Donald Trump and a head to head matchup that's a
- 0:41Speaker 1: nationwide pole. That is the poll that the latest five
- 0:45Speaker 1: thirty eight poll that came out that really doesn't matter.
- 0:49Speaker 1: It does tell you kind of a little bit of
- 0:51Speaker 1: a trend, but it doesn't really matter because Trump leads
- 0:55Speaker 1: Biden in seven of the eight key swing states Chigan,
- 1:00Speaker 1: we have a small lead for Trump, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia,
- 1:04Speaker 1: North Carolina, Arizona, and Nevada. That all according to the
- 1:08Speaker 1: newest poll coming out from Forbes.
- 1:11Speaker 2: That's what really matters. Now. There's been a lot of.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Democrats behind the scene They're like, can we replace this guy?
- 1:17Speaker 1: Can we get rid of him? How do we get
- 1:18Speaker 1: rid of him? And ultimately it's going to come down
- 1:21Speaker 1: to Joe Biden. If Joe Biden says I'm not going
- 1:24Speaker 1: to drop out, then it's never going to happen, and
- 1:26Speaker 1: they can talk all they want. The other option they
- 1:28Speaker 1: had was to stop funding to Joe Biden, and that
- 1:31Speaker 1: clearly is not going to happen. Now. Donald Trump did
- 1:34Speaker 1: outraise Joe Biden in the last quarter. That was just reported,
- 1:38Speaker 1: but in all fairness, that was also when Donald Trump
- 1:41Speaker 1: was convicted in New York and people gave like never before,
- 1:45Speaker 1: So I don't know what the numbers would have been
- 1:47Speaker 1: without that court case. Now Democrats right now are in
- 1:52Speaker 1: a very weird situation because they're trying to tell you
- 1:55Speaker 1: that Joe Biden is like the smartest guy ever. Democrats
- 1:59Speaker 1: in the media that that's all they're saying now is
- 2:01Speaker 1: he's his best version of hisself. He's incredible, he's doing great.
- 2:05Speaker 1: And then behind the scenes are like, can we get
- 2:07Speaker 1: rid of this guy? How do we get rid of
- 2:08Speaker 1: this guy? How quick can we get rid of this guy?
- 2:10Speaker 1: What happens if we get rid of this guy, what
- 2:12Speaker 1: do we do to push him out? So there's a
- 2:15Speaker 1: really big debate happening. Senator Dick Durbin all Right said
- 2:20Speaker 1: this today, stories about Biden dropping out or dropping off
- 2:24Speaker 1: the tick of the summer or fall are simply, quote bizarre,
- 2:28Speaker 1: is what he said to The Hill newspaper. Senator Richard Blumenthalt,
- 2:32Speaker 1: Democrat from Connecticut, also getting on the record because there's
- 2:37Speaker 1: been a lot of speculation swirling, so he said, quote,
- 2:40Speaker 1: I've heard no credible plan B, and I'm not counting
- 2:43Speaker 1: on a plan B. Senator John icken Looper, Democrat Colorado
- 2:48Speaker 1: acknowledged Democratic voters quote are alarmed over poles showing Trump
- 2:53Speaker 1: has a solid chance of beating Biden the fall, saying,
- 2:55Speaker 1: quote everyone seen the polls, and I think people are
- 2:59Speaker 1: so alarmed that we could elect someone who's kind of
- 3:03Speaker 1: revealed themselves to be a demagogue.
- 3:06Speaker 2: That's what he said, referring to Donald Trump.
- 3:08Speaker 1: Now, the media is also trying to figure out how
- 3:11Speaker 1: do they play this. Do they cheerlead for the president
- 3:14Speaker 1: so they keep having access to his campaign, or do
- 3:17Speaker 1: they tell the truth.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Well, we now know what they're going to do.
- 3:20Speaker 1: It is clearly to lie to the American people and
- 3:23Speaker 1: try to convince you that Joe Biden is in an
- 3:25Speaker 1: amazing spot. I've got a montage of the media I
- 3:28Speaker 1: want to play for you, and it also is going
- 3:30Speaker 1: to be comparing the real Joe Biden what he says
- 3:34Speaker 1: on stage.
- 3:34Speaker 2: None of what I'm going to play for you is edited.
- 3:37Speaker 1: This is all unedited, real audio of the President of
- 3:40Speaker 1: the United States of America in public at public events,
- 3:43Speaker 1: speaking or during interviews.
- 3:46Speaker 2: And then you're going to hear in between.
- 3:48Speaker 1: The media telling you that Joe Biden is this amazing,
- 3:51Speaker 1: incredible guy that is not has zero cognitive declined. Before
- 3:55Speaker 1: I play that for you, I want to tell you

- 5:45Speaker 1: You're gonna hear the media telling you that Joe Biden
- 5:48Speaker 1: is in perfect health, nothing wrong with him, no cognitive decline.
- 5:52Speaker 2: And then you're gonna hear the President in his own.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Words, because I'm about to tell you the truth and
- 5:58Speaker 4: few if you can't handle the truth. This version of
- 6:02Speaker 4: Biden is the best Biden ever.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Do you know?
- 6:06Speaker 2: He knows so long.
- 6:09Speaker 4: In fact, I think he's better than he's ever been.
- 6:12Speaker 5: President Biden has a photographic memory, His understanding and mastery
- 6:16Speaker 5: of a complicated geopolitical situation remarkable.
- 6:21Speaker 6: He is sharp, intensely probing and detail oriented and focused.
- 6:26Speaker 2: Jackie, you here, Jackie, I think be here.
- 6:31Speaker 1: I was sitting, you know, a two feet from him
- 6:34Speaker 1: across the table, and he was, you know, intense.
- 6:37Speaker 4: It's have trouble walking sometimes, yeah, so did that pr
- 6:40Speaker 4: he wanted gd war.
- 6:42Speaker 2: But he's totally focused. He's very sharp, they say he's
- 6:44Speaker 2: sharpened meetings and so on. Very lucid, little, very well informed.
- 6:48Speaker 7: Biden's stately and he comes with gravitas.
- 6:50Speaker 8: There hasn't been, as far as I know, a single
- 6:53Speaker 8: claim that Biden made a mistake.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Agism is an issue.
- 6:58Speaker 6: Americans have a rich history of holding people's physical characteristics
- 7:03Speaker 6: against them.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Okay, you can ask African Americans.
- 7:05Speaker 9: He's older, that doesn't mean that he is unfit.
- 7:08Speaker 10: And there's a lot of ages in there now.
- 7:10Speaker 6: This age attack, this obsession by the right Joe Biden
- 7:14Speaker 6: may not be able to speak for himself the way
- 7:16Speaker 6: that he used to.
- 7:16Speaker 11: They want to think it is to take on government
- 7:19Speaker 11: if we get out of line, which they're talking on
- 7:21Speaker 11: again about and him lying around.
- 7:25Speaker 5: I think people should be speaking up for Joe Biden.
- 7:27Speaker 6: Americans and reporters in the media are just judging him
- 7:31Speaker 6: by physical appearance, and it's for of the unfair age
- 7:35Speaker 6: is an ascent.
- 7:36Speaker 9: He showed exactly how with it he is.
- 7:38Speaker 5: The flip side of this coin is that he has
- 7:40Speaker 5: a tremendous amount of wisdom and experience.
- 7:43Speaker 6: Have you heard any concerns from anyone who has met
- 7:47Speaker 6: with President Biden about seeming a little slower, no more.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Wild speculation from a bunch of people who have probably
- 7:54Speaker 4: never been in a room with Joe Biden and certainly
- 7:56Speaker 4: don't have medical degrees that.
- 7:57Speaker 2: I'm aware of. You don't get paid for performance be president.
- 8:00Speaker 2: You don't. The job is not a job of endurance.
- 8:04Speaker 12: I don't see Donald Trump out by riding.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Like Joe Biden.
- 8:07Speaker 9: It's the Hillary's email.
- 8:08Speaker 2: All they have is that he's.
- 8:09Speaker 9: On he can clear a dementia bar and that's probably
- 8:13Speaker 9: a win.
- 8:13Speaker 4: The media are not fair, and they're getting less and
- 8:16Speaker 4: less fair, and things are frightening. You have you have
- 8:20Speaker 4: Wall Street Journal running a hardly source.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Piece saying that Biden is unfited.
- 8:24Speaker 13: You'd be a small Street General report about the president's acuity.
- 8:28Speaker 8: Shoddy story by the Wall Street Journal questioning Biden's mental fitness.
- 8:32Speaker 6: Wall Street Journal story and had a lot of flaws,
- 8:34Speaker 6: as you said, but sin clear they didn't do any
- 8:37Speaker 6: original reporting, they didn't follow up, they didn't do any work.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Here.
- 8:40Speaker 11: This today is hersh Gilbert poland he's still he is
- 8:45Speaker 11: not here, but he's still being held by a man.
- 8:48Speaker 9: But a huge part of the Mulla report talks about
- 8:50Speaker 9: Russian disinformation tactics.
- 8:52Speaker 2: And one of the things.
- 8:53Speaker 9: This election cycle is that Joe Biden is too old
- 8:56Speaker 9: to lead, and so everyone is seizing upon this, and
- 8:59Speaker 9: it is a class this information tactic, and I think
- 9:01Speaker 9: the best thing that we can do is to prepare
- 9:04Speaker 9: the American people for this false narrative.
- 9:06Speaker 2: It's a false narrative.
- 9:08Speaker 1: If you think the President of the United States of
- 9:10Speaker 1: America is not sharp, don't.
- 9:13Speaker 2: Believe your lying eyes.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Right, Biden's brain is sharper than ever, sharper than yours,
- 9:18Speaker 1: I tell you. And it's a narrative, a terrible narrative
- 9:20Speaker 1: if you don't believe us. You know, there's also that
- 9:23Speaker 1: saying that his actions speak louder than words, and the
- 9:27Speaker 1: actions of many Democrats are saying they believe that Joe
- 9:30Speaker 1: Biden is on a cognitive decline. By the way, as well,
- 9:33Speaker 1: there's a new report out that says an anxious Barack
- 9:37Speaker 1: Obama has quote become increasingly involved in the Biden campaign.
- 9:42Speaker 1: Former President Barack Obama and many of his former colleagues
- 9:45Speaker 1: in the White House are heavily involved in Joe Biden's
- 9:48Speaker 1: White House. They're heavily involved in making a lot of
- 9:50Speaker 1: money off Joe Biden's presidential campaign, and many of the
- 9:54Speaker 1: things that Joe Biden is doing is because of the
- 9:57Speaker 1: people that used to work in the Obama administration.
- 10:00Speaker 2: They're basically running the government.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Clearly, since Joe Biden is not well, former President Barack Obama,
- 10:07Speaker 1: we now are being told, especially after his recent moment
- 10:11Speaker 1: where he had to lead Joe Biden off the stage,
- 10:13Speaker 1: they said, oh, just best buddies putting their arm around
- 10:15Speaker 1: one another.
- 10:16Speaker 2: That's not what the video showed. But hey, don't believe
- 10:18Speaker 2: you're lying. Eyes right.
- 10:20Speaker 1: He has increasingly involved himself in the Biden campaign. This
- 10:24Speaker 1: is what sources have told the New York Magazine. Now
- 10:27Speaker 1: that is not a conservative publication. New York Magazine quote.
- 10:32Speaker 1: Obama's involvement reportedly began after Biden campaign officials realized in
- 10:36Speaker 1: late twenty twenty three that they would face former President
- 10:39Speaker 1: Donald Trump in a historic rematch, and they knew they
- 10:42Speaker 1: need to bring in the big guns. Trump has about
- 10:46Speaker 1: a two and three chance of completing the greatest political
- 10:50Speaker 1: comeback in modern political history. That is what an Economists
- 10:54Speaker 1: modal forecast says in June.
- 10:57Speaker 2: In addition, seventy.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Three percent of voters think Biden is to a to
- 11:00Speaker 1: be an effective president. That coming from a New York
- 11:03Speaker 1: Times survey in March, including sixty one percent who supported
- 11:08Speaker 1: Biden back in twenty twenty saying now he's just too old.
- 11:13Speaker 1: That's where Obama's role came in. Obama's role also includes
- 11:18Speaker 1: consulting with O'Malley Dillon that's Biden's campaign chair, and Anita Donn,
- 11:23Speaker 1: a Biden aid who worked with Obama. He advises on
- 11:27Speaker 1: digital budget strategy, assists in hands on public relations work
- 11:32Speaker 1: with Hollywood celebrities and fundraisers for the president as well.
- 11:36Speaker 1: New York Magazine is now reporting quote as he's become
- 11:39Speaker 1: more plugged into the Biden political thinking. Obama speaks more
- 11:45Speaker 1: often with O'Malley Dillon, the campaign chair and functionally it's executive,
- 11:50Speaker 1: including about Biden's effort to target hard to persuade young
- 11:53Speaker 1: and black voters. At the same time, operatives in Obama's
- 11:57Speaker 1: personal office coordinate with Biden's campaign to make sure Obama's
- 12:01Speaker 1: in the loop on campaign updates, and he has kept
- 12:05Speaker 1: in regular touch with the White House side as well,
- 12:08Speaker 1: checking in with two or more of his former aides,
- 12:11Speaker 1: including the chief of staff Jeff Zinis and Donn a
- 12:15Speaker 1: senior advisor, though his anxiety about the election is real.
- 12:20Speaker 1: The words of one Obama friend, the ex president concern
- 12:23Speaker 1: sounded a lot like those of other top Democrats. According
- 12:27Speaker 1: to others they've spoke with, what are they worried about?
- 12:31Speaker 2: Well, they're worried about.
- 12:33Speaker 1: The cognitive decline and focus of Joe Biden. Those who
- 12:37Speaker 1: are in regular touch with Obama say he sees nerves
- 12:42Speaker 1: that are not a reflection of quote, any particular angst
- 12:45Speaker 1: about Biden or his team, but of the broader reality.
- 12:50Speaker 1: The country is closely divided, the media landscape is fractured,
- 12:55Speaker 1: and Donald Trump may well win this upcoming twenty twenty
- 12:58Speaker 1: four presidential election. Obama is always acknowledged to friends and
- 13:03Speaker 1: supporters that he is worried. He's worried about this nail
- 13:07Speaker 1: bider and it will likely be a nail biterer, is
- 13:10Speaker 1: what he's said privately to many Democrats at fundraisers. Yet
- 13:15Speaker 1: he has remained careful about not well inciting any specific
- 13:20Speaker 1: concern or complacency about the campaign itself aware that reports
- 13:25Speaker 1: about his feelings are unlikely to help the Democratic cause,
- 13:30Speaker 1: so he knows he has to play it cool.
- 13:33Speaker 2: This year.
- 13:34Speaker 1: He is highly likely to reprise his role as one
- 13:36Speaker 1: of Biden's most prominent surrogates come the fall. He has
- 13:40Speaker 1: also gotten publicly involved earlier than many anticipated. Just this month,
- 13:45Speaker 1: he joined Biden on stage in Los Angeles to do
- 13:49Speaker 1: some heavy lifting for his second splashy campaign fundraiser, this
- 13:54Speaker 1: one featuring George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Jimmy Kimmel. Between bashes
- 13:59Speaker 1: like that, unless clamorous efforts, the ex president has already
- 14:04Speaker 1: brought in more than six million for Biden that according
- 14:07Speaker 1: to a Democrat familiar with the campaign numbers. He has
- 14:10Speaker 1: filmed ten video clips that the Biden team has used
- 14:13Speaker 1: as digital advertisements, and more are likely to come depending
- 14:17Speaker 1: on what those issues obviously will be. Both presidents are
- 14:21Speaker 1: working out of the exact contours of Obama's role in
- 14:25Speaker 1: Biden's campaign, just as the relationship enters a new chapter
- 14:29Speaker 1: defined by Trump's possible return and with it, a threat
- 14:33Speaker 1: to their joint legacy. Obama's hand on help has not
- 14:37Speaker 1: appeared to always benefit Biden. A video on Sunday showed
- 14:41Speaker 1: Obama guiding Biden off the stage at a fundraiser, obviously
- 14:46Speaker 1: making the President of the United States America Joe Biden.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Look well, feeble, old and weak.
- 14:52Speaker 1: The other thing is, yeah, it was prominent because you
- 14:55Speaker 1: had Joe Biden that was being let off by Barack Obama.
- 14:59Speaker 1: But the bigger question is if he didn't do it,
- 15:01Speaker 1: somebody else would have. Now, the video came amid several
- 15:05Speaker 1: videos that shoe Biden. As it's been described, this is
- 15:08Speaker 1: coming for the New Yorker malfunctioning in public, raising concerns
- 15:13Speaker 1: that Obama intentionally tried to sabotage Biden by walking him
- 15:17Speaker 1: off stage.
- 15:18Speaker 2: Those rumors are apparently not true.
- 15:21Speaker 1: The White House claim the video was quote a cheap fake,
- 15:24Speaker 1: meaning don't believe your lying eyes.
- 15:28Speaker 2: So you look at this going.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Into the debate on Thursday, and there's two things you
- 15:34Speaker 1: need to be ready for. One, the media is going
- 15:37Speaker 1: to try to tell you that anything less than normal
- 15:41Speaker 1: is amazing for Joe Biden. And they're going to raise
- 15:45Speaker 1: the stakes in the next couple of days to make
- 15:48Speaker 1: it seem like this debate is clearly Donald Trump's to lose.
- 15:53Speaker 1: They're going to put all the pressure they can publicly
- 15:56Speaker 1: on Donald Trump to just shine, and they're going to
- 16:00Speaker 1: lower the bar substantially for the president of the United
- 16:04Speaker 1: States of America. And as they do this, they're doing
- 16:07Speaker 1: it because they understand this is the best strategy. If
- 16:10Speaker 1: Joe Biden shows up and just does an average job,
- 16:13Speaker 1: that will be described by the media as an unbelievable success.
- 16:19Speaker 1: That's how you push these narratives out there. Now, there's
- 16:22Speaker 1: also sarrogates that are saying they don't think that the
- 16:25Speaker 1: president's in a good spot right now. There are many
- 16:28Speaker 1: that are well, very concerned that even with moderator Jake Tapper,
- 16:33Speaker 1: who's obsessed with Donald Trump and has compared him to
- 16:36Speaker 1: a Nazi multiple times. They also are concerned about Dana Bash,
- 16:41Speaker 1: a hardcore lefty who also is on the record countless
- 16:45Speaker 1: times on CNN hating on Donald Trump. Those two are
- 16:49Speaker 1: supposed to save him in the first debate. Will they
- 16:51Speaker 1: be able to possibly, it's going to be a three
- 16:53Speaker 1: against one debate. It'll be Jake Tapper, Dana Bash, and
- 16:57Speaker 1: Joe Biden against Donald Trump. But what if that doesn't work?
- 17:02Speaker 1: What then happens? Well, the White House will then lie
- 17:04Speaker 1: to you. They'll tell you that you know that there's
- 17:08Speaker 1: these these quote cheap fakes that happen right, cheap fakes
- 17:12Speaker 1: where any video you see of Joe Biden that makes
- 17:17Speaker 1: him not look good. They want you to believe that
- 17:20Speaker 1: it's actually doctored, put together and isn't really him.
- 17:24Speaker 2: That's what they're going to say.
- 17:26Speaker 1: So if he has a bad night, they're gonna hope
- 17:29Speaker 1: that a lot of Americans didn't actually see it. They're
- 17:32Speaker 1: gonna hope that a lot of swing voters didn't actually
- 17:35Speaker 1: see it.
- 17:36Speaker 2: They're gonna sit there and tell.
- 17:38Speaker 1: You don't believe the clips that you're seeing on social media.
- 17:42Speaker 1: They're ai, they're cheap fakes, they're not real. They're going
- 17:45Speaker 1: to tell you that over and over again. Let me
- 17:50Speaker 1: also say one other thing about the media and and
- 17:53Speaker 1: them lowering, as I described, expectations, But while they're lowering expectations,
- 17:57Speaker 1: they're also going out after anyone that points out the obvious.
- 18:03Speaker 1: I'll go back to Stay of the Union, and it
- 18:06Speaker 1: was very clear that Joe Biden when he walked out
- 18:10Speaker 1: to get that Say of the Union was jacked up.
- 18:12Speaker 1: I don't know what he was on, but like in
- 18:14Speaker 1: the first five minutes, go back and look at my tweet,
- 18:16Speaker 1: and I was like, I don't know what he's on,
- 18:18Speaker 1: but whatever they gave him, I want some of that
- 18:21Speaker 1: he came out talking really fast, his eyes were barely blinking.
- 18:26Speaker 2: He was, as I describe it, jacked up Joe.
- 18:30Speaker 1: I said this last week on TV at Fox when
- 18:32Speaker 1: I was in New York. He was jacked up Joe.
- 18:34Speaker 1: There's two different Joe Biden's. There's a Joe Biden of
- 18:37Speaker 1: Debate Night and Joe Biden of the State of the Union,
- 18:41Speaker 1: and then there's the.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Every day Joe Biden.
- 18:43Speaker 1: And he goes for an entire week we as we've
- 18:46Speaker 1: been told now to go to his camp able to
- 18:48Speaker 1: do prepare.
- 18:49Speaker 2: What's he doing there?
- 18:50Speaker 1: First joke, I said, because it's not really a joke,
- 18:52Speaker 1: and you know it's real. I said, he's like go
- 18:55Speaker 1: in there to to prepare. He's going there to sleep.
- 19:02Speaker 1: The best thing that they can do for Joe Biden
- 19:04Speaker 1: is get Joe Biden to go to sleep. Like that's
- 19:06Speaker 1: just the truth. I don't think that's being mean, because
- 19:10Speaker 1: how much can you prepare this guy for when you've.
- 19:13Speaker 2: Got to basically just get him jacked up.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Now the media is furious over this, all right. Sand
- 19:20Speaker 1: M's Jim Acosta is slamming Fox News for parenting claims
- 19:26Speaker 1: about jacked up Biden, comparing it now to birthersm Listen
- 19:32Speaker 1: to this from CNN preparing their audience for the debate
- 19:36Speaker 1: in case jacked up Joe, I guess doesn't show up
- 19:38Speaker 1: the entire night.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I think is.
- 19:40Speaker 13: Really interesting is also how we're seeing the campaign try
- 19:43Speaker 13: to manage expectations. I want you to listen to some
- 19:46Speaker 13: pretty vulgar language and runner hick that Donald Trump used
- 19:49Speaker 13: at his Philadelphia rally.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Take a listen to what he.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Said, by the way, the vulgar language, you know, really
- 19:55Speaker 1: vulgar language, right, you know they just played that out
- 19:57Speaker 1: like this is some really vulgar language and rhetoric from
- 20:01Speaker 1: Donald Trump. You're gonna laugh because it's not vulgar like
- 20:05Speaker 1: the way they're describing it. And this really just terrible rhetoric, right,
- 20:10Speaker 1: You're going to laugh because this is how much they'll
- 20:13Speaker 1: overplay it.
- 20:13Speaker 2: Listen, and right.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Now, Crooked Joe's gone to a log cabin to study prepare.
- 20:21Speaker 2: No, he didn't. He's sleeping now because they want to
- 20:26Speaker 2: get him good and strong, so a little.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Before debate time, he gets a shot in the ass
- 20:31Speaker 3: and that's.
- 20:34Speaker 2: They want to strengthen him up.
- 20:35Speaker 3: He'll come out, okay, I say, he'll come out, all
- 20:40Speaker 3: jacked up, right, all jacked up.
- 20:44Speaker 13: So clearly this is Donald Trump's version of trying to
- 20:48Speaker 13: raise expectations.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Awful, We should just be clear.
- 20:50Speaker 13: I mean, there is no and you know this as well,
- 20:52Speaker 13: there's no evidence that Joe Biden has ever taken a
- 20:55Speaker 13: performance enhancing drug that he's planning to. But this is
- 20:58Speaker 13: how Donald Trump is playing off his out and whatnot.
- 21:00Speaker 1: But I do, by the way, can we just laugh
- 21:02Speaker 1: that the fact that they're they're now saying, well, there's
- 21:04Speaker 1: no proof that Donald that Joe Biden has ever taken
- 21:09Speaker 1: a performance enhancing drug. The fact that they're covering it
- 21:14Speaker 1: is just amazing, Like it's exactly what Donald Trump wanted
- 21:18Speaker 1: them to do because now they're actually having to talk
- 21:21Speaker 1: about it and now people are going to be looking
- 21:23Speaker 1: for it, and they just took the bait. From that standpoint,
- 21:27Speaker 1: I want to say, I absolutely love this, Like this
- 21:30Speaker 1: is amazing to me.
- 21:32Speaker 2: That's number one. But keep listening.
- 21:33Speaker 13: You find it fascinating because we know for months now,
- 21:36Speaker 13: Donald Trump himself but also his team, I've been painting
- 21:39Speaker 13: Joe Biden as this weak and feeble candidate, arguing he's senile,
- 21:43Speaker 13: that he can barely stand on the debate stage for
- 21:45Speaker 13: the ninety minutes that has allotted on Thursday. But now
- 21:47Speaker 13: they're recognizing that's actually not working in their favor because
- 21:51Speaker 13: the bar will be too low for Joe Biden. So
- 21:53Speaker 13: we're seeing them try to raise expectations, and I think
- 21:55Speaker 13: I know throughout this week they're going to have a
- 21:57Speaker 13: lot of Donald Trump's surrogates and advisors on the air
- 22:00Speaker 13: waves trying to do exactly that.
- 22:01Speaker 12: All right, yeah, they have to pick one. Is it senile?
- 22:04Speaker 12: Is it jacked up? It's one or the other at.
- 22:06Speaker 2: This point, pick which one?
- 22:07Speaker 11: Right?
- 22:07Speaker 1: Did you hear that, Like, well, you got to pick
- 22:09Speaker 1: is it senile or jacked up? Well, the point is
- 22:12Speaker 1: he's senile, So therefore they got to juice him. They
- 22:14Speaker 1: got to jack him up to get him ready for
- 22:16Speaker 1: the debate. I don't have to pick one or the other, Jim.
- 22:20Speaker 1: As much as these guys at CNN say this, you
- 22:23Speaker 1: just got to laugh. So they go from the hard
- 22:25Speaker 1: news report and then they go into the commentary. Okay,
- 22:28Speaker 1: now listen to the commentary aspect of this.
- 22:31Speaker 2: It's amazing.
- 22:33Speaker 12: Try to just Chuck Roache and CNN senior political commentator
- 22:36Speaker 12: Scott Jennings Chuck, I mean, what do you make of
- 22:38Speaker 12: all of this and also the rhetoric that Trump is
- 22:41Speaker 12: using heading into this debate. I mean, it almost sounds
- 22:43Speaker 12: like he's road testing a new berther Lie with this
- 22:46Speaker 12: jacked up business. You know, it's just people will say
- 22:50Speaker 12: always just joking, but I mean they're saying it over
- 22:53Speaker 12: and over again. Nobody's ever made this kind of allegation
- 22:56Speaker 12: about Joe Biden his entire political career, even though he's
- 22:58Speaker 12: been in Washington fifty plus years.
- 23:00Speaker 10: It's why it makes it so hard to prepare for him,
- 23:02Speaker 10: and I think that's why Joe Biden's taken so much
- 23:04Speaker 10: time to prepare it.
- 23:05Speaker 2: I've done debate prep before.
- 23:07Speaker 10: You look at all the statements and things that somebody does,
- 23:09Speaker 10: and normally as a campaign they have a professional team
- 23:11Speaker 10: around him and they stay on a certain message. You
- 23:13Speaker 10: never know what you're going to get out of Donald Trump,
- 23:15Speaker 10: so you have to prepare for everything. To the point,
- 23:17Speaker 10: the two folks were just talking about which one of
- 23:19Speaker 10: the Donald Trump's actually show up, and then how do
- 23:22Speaker 10: you actually debate prepa gets somebody that spews so much
- 23:24Speaker 10: misinformation or disinformation. I think that's the biggest challenge for
- 23:28Speaker 10: Joe Biden.
- 23:28Speaker 12: Yes, Scott, I mean, what's with all this jacked up business?
- 23:31Speaker 8: Oh, this is a running commentary on the right since
- 23:34Speaker 8: the State of the Union when Biden came out rather
- 23:37Speaker 8: aggressively yelling at the Congress that night. So I think
- 23:41Speaker 8: Trump is riffing off of that joke that's been going
- 23:44Speaker 8: around in Republican circles.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I think Chuck by the way, by the way, I
- 23:46Speaker 1: love how they like even there Scott Jennings, And I'm sorry,
- 23:50Speaker 1: I got to disagree with Scott on this one, Like,
- 23:52Speaker 1: come on, dude, he's like, oh, it's a joke in
- 23:54Speaker 1: Republican circles. Every American that the watch what happened at
- 23:59Speaker 1: the State of the Union knows exactly what you're talking
- 24:02Speaker 1: about and what jacked up Joe actually means. It was
- 24:07Speaker 1: clear that Joe Biden came out of the gates during
- 24:11Speaker 1: that debate and was jacked up on something. I don't
- 24:14Speaker 1: know what it is, but I know it wasn't the
- 24:17Speaker 1: normal Joe Biden that we see. And you could say, well,
- 24:19Speaker 1: he was just excited about to say.
- 24:20Speaker 2: Of the Union.
- 24:21Speaker 1: I don't believe that crap for a second either. I
- 24:24Speaker 1: don't believe that for a half a second.
- 24:27Speaker 2: And they know this all right, they're not stupid.
- 24:31Speaker 1: But if you want, I guess, keep your job now, CNN,
- 24:33Speaker 1: you just got to lie to the American people and
- 24:35Speaker 1: tell them what you're witnessing is not, in fact what
- 24:38Speaker 1: you're witnessing. It's again, don't believe your lying eyes. That's
- 24:44Speaker 1: what their defense is on all of this. He is competent,
- 24:48Speaker 1: he is great, His plans, his policies are incredible. Right,
- 24:53Speaker 1: that's what they say. That's that's what they're gonna tell you.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I go back to the economy. The media keeps lying
- 25:03Speaker 1: to you about the economy right now, telling you that
- 25:06Speaker 1: Bidenomics somehow worked, it didn't work, and then they say, well,
- 25:09Speaker 1: don't jump out the worst economy ever, that's what they'll
- 25:12Speaker 1: tell you. Take a listen to this on Fox Business
- 25:15Speaker 1: talking about this aspect of where we are our life.
- 25:18Speaker 11: For I begin with you modern monetary theory. What is
- 25:21Speaker 11: it exactly? Alas for you oric grave diggers.
- 25:26Speaker 14: Well, what they say is they can go unlimited amounts
- 25:29Speaker 14: of borrowing because the markets will tolerate it at low
- 25:32Speaker 14: interest rates. But the problem with modern monetary theory, Larry,
- 25:36Speaker 14: is really very very simple.
- 25:38Speaker 2: You know if you use it.
- 25:39Speaker 14: If you borrow a two percent and use the money
- 25:42Speaker 14: to create economic growth and have yields of five percent,
- 25:45Speaker 14: you should borrow a lot. You're making profits and you're
- 25:47Speaker 14: creating a better country like we did with Reagan.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Larry, that's right.
- 25:51Speaker 14: But when you borrow money no matter what price, and
- 25:54Speaker 14: you use it to pay people not to work and
- 25:56Speaker 14: to destroy economic value, then you shouldn't borrow it all.
- 26:00Speaker 14: But they're borrowing all this stuff and they're using the
- 26:02Speaker 14: money badly, and by using it badly, they've created the
- 26:05Speaker 14: Biden economy, which is a catastrophe. I mean, if you
- 26:08Speaker 14: compare that with the Reagan I mean, with a Trump economy,
- 26:12Speaker 14: it's just amazing the juxtaposition there. I mean, nothing matches
- 26:16Speaker 14: Trump's first term in office until COVID hit, and nothing
- 26:20Speaker 14: matches that it was the best economy I think in
- 26:23Speaker 14: a first term.
- 26:23Speaker 12: Ever.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I agree with him, by the way, but that's not all.
- 26:28Speaker 1: You also have this comment about binomics. Listen, well, Steve Moore.
- 26:34Speaker 11: Let's just go into this because people may not recognize
- 26:37Speaker 11: the term modern monetary theory. Okay, but what you're talking
- 26:40Speaker 11: about is basically endless or limitless spending borrowing. And the
- 26:46Speaker 11: other key is the modern monetary theory. People who do
- 26:50Speaker 11: populate the Biden administration unlimited money printing.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Right.
- 26:55Speaker 11: They argue that because the dollar is the world's reserve currency,
- 26:59Speaker 11: quote unquote, for the moment, we could the government could
- 27:04Speaker 11: or the Federal Reserve could buy all the bonds that
- 27:07Speaker 11: are sold, could print all the money necessary. And that's
- 27:11Speaker 11: really the clincher for modern monetary theory. They're not worried
- 27:15Speaker 11: about inflation, they're not worried about regulation, as Arthur said,
- 27:19Speaker 11: they're not worried about sluggish growth. Now have they been
- 27:22Speaker 11: proven right or wrong so far?
- 27:25Speaker 7: Well, it's important for people to realize where this came from.
- 27:29Speaker 7: Remember Larry and Arthur. When Obama was president, he remember
- 27:33Speaker 7: his eight hundred billion dollar so called stimulus plan with
- 27:36Speaker 7: the shupled ready projects, and it did not stimulate the economy.
- 27:39Speaker 7: The economy did terrible over the next four years. They
- 27:42Speaker 7: never came anywhere close to the three to four percent target.
- 27:45Speaker 7: And so what was the reaction. The reaction should have been, well,
- 27:49Speaker 7: that all this spending and debt doesn't really work. And
- 27:52Speaker 7: what they just what they came up with, there's this idea,
- 27:54Speaker 7: oh no, asked Paul Kruman. He said, they didn't spend
- 27:57Speaker 7: and borrow enough money. You know, if they just borrow
- 27:59Speaker 7: up for five trillion dollars more, it would have worked.
- 28:02Speaker 7: So Biden comes in and buys this craft pop theory,
- 28:05Speaker 7: which is very convenient for him because he wanted to
- 28:07Speaker 7: spend the money anyway. And now we have this experience, right,
- 28:10Speaker 7: and now we'd have this experiment with Bidenomics, and it
- 28:14Speaker 7: is modern monetary theory. And the point of our piece
- 28:17Speaker 7: that Arthur I wrote is who have been the victims
- 28:19Speaker 7: of this?
- 28:20Speaker 2: Well, the middle class, Larry.
- 28:21Speaker 7: Because the prices have gone up by twenty percent, incomes
- 28:25Speaker 7: are only up sixteen or seventeen percent, So the average
- 28:29Speaker 7: American is poor as a result of this. So this
- 28:32Speaker 7: idea does not work. Hopefully we can we can put
- 28:36Speaker 7: it in the grave. It's pour salt on the soil,
- 28:39Speaker 7: so the idea never comes back.
- 28:41Speaker 2: Could not agree more. This is how they're going to
- 28:44Speaker 2: lie to you.
- 28:45Speaker 1: That's why I do this show to tell you you're
- 28:47Speaker 1: now prepared for it. And this is what they're going
- 28:50Speaker 1: to do until election day, and they're certainly going to
- 28:53Speaker 1: go all in on it now more than ever. The
- 28:56Speaker 1: week of this debate to try to convince you that
- 28:59Speaker 1: if he has a bad nine night, that if his
- 29:01Speaker 1: policies aren't clicking with you, if the economy's not doing well,
- 29:06Speaker 1: that well, you just need to believe us that actually
- 29:09Speaker 1: things are not just good, things are great. Make ssure
- 29:13Speaker 1: you share this podcast with your family and your friends,
- 29:15Speaker 1: and I'll see you back here tomorrow morning,
