Latest / The Ben Ferguson Podcast / DEMOCRATS THREATEN ALL OUT CIVIL WAR with new demand that the Supreme Court change their opinion on ROE V. WADE!
Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: I want to give you a quick update on how
- 0:04Speaker 1: the media is trying to spend Roe v. Wade being
- 0:07Speaker 1: overturned by making it sound like it is total anarchy
- 0:12Speaker 1: and chaos in America today and that a bunch of
- 0:15Speaker 1: women have now resorted to trying to do their own
- 0:18Speaker 1: abortions with coat hangers, and that women are just randomly
- 0:21Speaker 1: dying in back alleys and cheap hotel rooms all over
- 0:24Speaker 1: the country today because of what happened with Rovwade, which
- 0:26Speaker 1: is a lie, but hey, it fills a great narrative, right.
- 0:31Speaker 1: It makes people really just you know, freak out about
- 0:34Speaker 1: women's rights. Out we've got this, you know, the celebrities
- 0:37Speaker 1: that are mourning the end of Roe v. Wade and
- 0:39Speaker 1: they're raging at conservatives over this. We also know that.
- 0:44Speaker 1: And then you have this sex strike that women are
- 0:47Speaker 1: apparently doing, saying no sex liberal women, which is totally
- 0:51Speaker 1: fine because most conservative men are going to sleep with
- 0:53Speaker 1: liberal women, so not an issue there. But they're like, well,
- 0:58Speaker 1: we're gonna, we're gonna, you know, go on a sex strike,
- 1:00Speaker 1: and I hope liberal women do this and show your
- 1:02Speaker 1: real commitment to this issue for like a decade, Just
- 1:05Speaker 1: no sex, okay, go for it. Knock yourself out, just
- 1:11Speaker 1: go totally anti you know, sex, and show liberal men
- 1:17Speaker 1: just how serious you are about this issue. Okay, knock
- 1:21Speaker 1: yourself out, do it. I support it. I will stand
- 1:24Speaker 1: behind you and cheer you on as you say no
- 1:28Speaker 1: to the liberal men in your life and the sex
- 1:30Speaker 1: that you were going to have with them that you
- 1:31Speaker 1: won't now in your sex strike like that's a We
- 1:36Speaker 1: support you in this, Okay, we really do. We totally
- 1:40Speaker 1: completely support you in this endeavor. It's an amazing one. Now,
- 1:44Speaker 1: before I get into anymore the insanity of these people
- 1:48Speaker 1: on the left, tell you real quick about legacy precious metals.
- 1:51Speaker 1: You know what's happening with inflation, you know what's happening
- 1:53Speaker 1: with people now talking about the idea of recession. You
- 1:56Speaker 1: know what's happening with supply chain issues. And you know
- 1:58Speaker 1: what's been happening with your retirement an account. If you
- 2:02Speaker 1: are not diversified with part of your financial strategy involving

- 2:25Speaker 1: as skyrocketing of our national debt. And if your retirement

- 2:32Speaker 1: you need to take a look at Legacy Precious Metals.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Call and get the free investors guide right now from
- 2:40Speaker 1: them one eight six six seven five one twenty two eighteen.
- 2:45Speaker 1: That's one eight six six seven five one twenty two eighteen,
- 2:52Speaker 1: or online at Legacy PM Investments. It's Legacy PM Investments
- 2:57Speaker 1: dot com. All right, I want to now get back
- 3:00Speaker 1: to this idea. But if you look at what Democrats
- 3:04Speaker 1: are now saying and what they're what they're now they're
- 3:09Speaker 1: they're headlines that are coming in the newspapers that are
- 3:11Speaker 1: doing this. Let me just read you a few of these.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Quote to another war between the States is coming over abortion.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Another headline, doctors who perform procedure will all caps be
- 3:23Speaker 1: targeted for prosecution? South Dakota governor declares, in other words,
- 3:27Speaker 1: it's a siege on you know, war on doctors. We
- 3:30Speaker 1: always prosecute doctors if they commit crimes, right, if they
- 3:34Speaker 1: give you narcotics that you aren't supposed to have and
- 3:37Speaker 1: they become by professional drug dealers. We come after you.
- 3:40Speaker 1: There's certain rules, right, you can't do certain procedures like
- 3:44Speaker 1: assistant suicide. Will come after you. Does that mean that
- 3:47Speaker 1: you are a target or that you're being somehow persecuted? Know,
- 3:51Speaker 1: it just means follow the law. And if the law
- 3:53Speaker 1: in South Dakota says you can't perform abortions under these circumstances,
- 3:58Speaker 1: and you do it, then you should be argued. That
- 4:00Speaker 1: doesn't mean you Know, that doesn't mean that you're being discriminated.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Another headline, in nineteen seventy women went to jail. Could
- 4:09Speaker 1: it happen again? Right? Because anything we can do to
- 4:12Speaker 1: terrorize people, let's do it. CBS Walmart imposed purchase limits
- 4:16Speaker 1: on Planned B pill. Demand surges because of the Plan
- 4:20Speaker 1: B pill, which has nothing to do with rov wade.
- 4:22Speaker 1: We'll deal with that in a moment. When band in
- 4:25Speaker 1: Brazil women turned to drug traffickers. Another headline reads, this morning,
- 4:31Speaker 1: Louisiana band been blocked. California puts constitutional rights on November ballot.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Supreme justices aren't even pretending to respect each other. These
- 4:42Speaker 1: are just some of the headlines. Now there's a new
- 4:46Speaker 1: gallop pull that also is pretty interesting. It says the
- 4:49Speaker 1: world is unhappier and more stressed out than ever before.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Could it be because the media? No, could it be
- 4:57Speaker 1: because the media puts out these ridiculous headlines, the ones
- 5:00Speaker 1: that I just gave you. Let's just go to the
- 5:03Speaker 1: NBC News headline, the first one I gave you, there's
- 5:05Speaker 1: another war between the states coming over abortion. They're now
- 5:10Speaker 1: quitting it with the Civil War. I'm not joking headline.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Before the Civil War, northern and southern states did battle
- 5:20Speaker 1: over fugitive slaves. Once again, something legal in one state
- 5:25Speaker 1: is illegal in a state next door, So they're referring
- 5:28Speaker 1: to this like the Civil War, which is also stupid.
- 5:33Speaker 1: The Supreme Court's abortion decision is likely to send off
- 5:36Speaker 1: a wave NBC News Rights this morning of legal and
- 5:40Speaker 1: political disputes amongst states and the federal government unlike anything
- 5:44Speaker 1: we've seen since the years before the Civil War, legal
- 5:48Speaker 1: experts say, which is by the way, a total lie.
- 5:52Speaker 1: When some states allowing private lawsuits against out of state
- 5:56Speaker 1: abortion providers and other states prohibiting corporations with abortion or
- 6:02Speaker 1: excuse me, prohibiting cooperation with abortion investigations, the abortion issue
- 6:07Speaker 1: is likely to pit state law enforcement agencies and court
- 6:10Speaker 1: systems against one another in a dramatic fashion. The federal government, meanwhile,
- 6:16Speaker 1: faces a choice over how to deal with states that
- 6:19Speaker 1: seeks to ban food and drug Administration approved abortion medication
- 6:23Speaker 1: now using about half of pregnancy terminations, And whatever the
- 6:28Speaker 1: Biden administration does, federal policy could change dramatically if the
- 6:31Speaker 1: Republicans take the White House. Oh Waiter, is NBC News
- 6:37Speaker 1: trying to use this article so that you'll be afraid
- 6:39Speaker 1: to vote against Republicans if they and not make sure
- 6:42Speaker 1: they don't end up in the White House. Certainly seems
- 6:44Speaker 1: that way, doesn't it. Experts say it is conceivable. By
- 6:48Speaker 1: the way, I used to want to be an expert.
- 6:50Speaker 1: I think most people want to say that they're an
- 6:52Speaker 1: expert on something, right, that's something that they want to do.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Like most of the time people want to say I'm
- 6:59Speaker 1: an expert in X, Y or Z. I'm not sure
- 7:03Speaker 1: I want to be an expert anymore in anything, because
- 7:06Speaker 1: if the definition of expert is always these hardcore lefties
- 7:08Speaker 1: and crazies that they give these microphones to and write
- 7:11Speaker 1: these articles, I'm really not sure I want to be
- 7:14Speaker 1: a quote expert anymore because I'm not sure being an
- 7:17Speaker 1: expert's actually a good thing, because if I'm going to
- 7:21Speaker 1: be grouped in with these quote other experts, maybe I
- 7:26Speaker 1: don't want to be there. Experts say it is conceivable
- 7:30Speaker 1: that a person could be wanted for a felony in
- 7:33Speaker 1: an anti abortion right state but protected from extradition in
- 7:38Speaker 1: a pro abortion right state. The governor Massachusetts has already
- 7:42Speaker 1: imposed rules forbidding state officers from cooperating and abortion investigations.
- 7:48Speaker 1: California's governor signed a bill seeking to protect civil liberal
- 7:51Speaker 1: liabilities anyone providing, aiding, or receiving abortion care in the state.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Texas law, however, lets private sits ensue out of state
- 8:00Speaker 1: abortion providers, and Missouri is considering a similar law. Quote.
- 8:04Speaker 1: What we had in the years leading up to Civil
- 8:06Speaker 1: War was a failure of what lawyers called comedy, the
- 8:13Speaker 1: idea that states will respect other state laws for reasons
- 8:16Speaker 1: of courtesy, consideration, and mutual respect. That's what a professor
- 8:22Speaker 1: of law in history at the University of Southern California
- 8:25Speaker 1: Law School said this week that starts to break down.
- 8:28Speaker 1: He said, when you have these really stark differences over
- 8:31Speaker 1: an issue involving a fundamental right, well, it's not a
- 8:34Speaker 1: fundamental right to have an abortion. This lawyer is now
- 8:37Speaker 1: lying to you in the Supreme Court also said that,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and that's what happens in the year leading up to
- 8:42Speaker 1: civil wars. So let's be clear where the NBC News
- 8:47Speaker 1: wants you to believe that the Civil War is going
- 8:56Speaker 1: to happen all over again in this country. Now, let's
- 8:59Speaker 1: just talk about out how many people died during the
- 9:01Speaker 1: Civil War. Roughly two percent of the population they believe
- 9:06Speaker 1: died because we didn't have really great records back then, right,
- 9:09Speaker 1: there were so many dead bodies, roughly two percent of
- 9:13Speaker 1: the population. Though they estimated about one hundred, six hundred
- 9:16Speaker 1: and six hundred fifty thousand men lost their lives in
- 9:18Speaker 1: the line of duty. Taken as a percentage of the population,
- 9:21Speaker 1: the toll would have risen as high as six million
- 9:23Speaker 1: souls today because the country's obviously grown since then. So
- 9:29Speaker 1: they're trying to tell you that because of Roe v. Wade,
- 9:31Speaker 1: we're going to have a bloody civil war in this country,
- 9:35Speaker 1: and within that civil war you could have what six
- 9:38Speaker 1: million Americans die because of the Civil War. I wish
- 9:46Speaker 1: I was joking, but I'm not like this. This is
- 9:51Speaker 1: their selling point, guys, the Supreme Court has set us
- 9:56Speaker 1: off towards a civil war where six million Americans will
- 10:00Speaker 1: die in a war over abortion. I don't believe there's
- 10:04Speaker 1: that many men that are willing to die for a
- 10:05Speaker 1: woman's quote right to choose, especially when that women's right
- 10:08Speaker 1: to choose is not illegal, and there are many states
- 10:12Speaker 1: that are going to make sure that you can get
- 10:13Speaker 1: an abortion. I don't think there's going to be a
- 10:17Speaker 1: bunch of guys they're going to take up arms and
- 10:19Speaker 1: go to fight against their neighbor over a women's right
- 10:23Speaker 1: to choose. No offense women, but you're not that important
- 10:27Speaker 1: to many men, and certainly you're right to have an abortion.
- 10:29Speaker 1: You know what the men are gonna say. They're gonna say,
- 10:31Speaker 1: go get your ales in a car and drive over
- 10:33Speaker 1: there and shut up, or get on a plane. They're
- 10:36Speaker 1: not going to go die by six million of them
- 10:39Speaker 1: in that scenario. Maybe that's a better way of putting it.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Call me cynical. I just don't think there's a bunch
- 10:45Speaker 1: of dudes ready to die for over abortion. Fight after
- 10:50Speaker 1: the passage quote unquote NBC who says the FUGI Fugitive
- 10:54Speaker 1: Slave Act in eighteen fifty federal statues required northern states
- 10:57Speaker 1: to assist southern slave owners and their bounty hunters and
- 11:01Speaker 1: capturing enslave people who had escaped the North to the
- 11:04Speaker 1: states that had banned slavery, but many northern states pass
- 11:09Speaker 1: laws to impede cooperation enforcement. The parallel to abortion is
- 11:14Speaker 1: that you quote literally are punishing people across state borders
- 11:17Speaker 1: for seeking medical care that is illegal and legal in
- 11:23Speaker 1: other places. Is what Sarah Rosenbaum, a professor of health
- 11:26Speaker 1: law and policy at George Washington University, said. It's a
- 11:31Speaker 1: completely mind blowing concept. It's really not. By the way,
- 11:35Speaker 1: to this law professor, let me explain why I can
- 11:39Speaker 1: cross the state line and my rights change drastically every day.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I can go to Colorado and smoke weed twenty four
- 11:55Speaker 1: seven and I will not get arrested. I can cross
- 11:59Speaker 1: that state line with that same weed or blunt smoking it,
- 12:02Speaker 1: and what happens, You'll get arrested. Is that mind blowing? No,
- 12:08Speaker 1: the state's rights issue, they say, right, and there are
- 12:10Speaker 1: federal laws involved with weed. By the way, they just
- 12:14Speaker 1: decide to look the other way in Colorado, and we
- 12:16Speaker 1: see the weed laws changing all over the country. I'm
- 12:19Speaker 1: not advocating or I'm not trying to get a conversation
- 12:21Speaker 1: about weed. I want to make that clear. I'm just
- 12:23Speaker 1: giving you an example. Let me give you an example.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I can cross a border in another state and there
- 12:30Speaker 1: are certain guns that I'm allowed to have, and then
- 12:32Speaker 1: I would be a felon and I would go to
- 12:33Speaker 1: jail for years, if not decades, if I cross the
- 12:39Speaker 1: state line. Does civil war happen because of that? No?
- 12:42Speaker 1: Does civil wars start because of that? No? Is the
- 12:45Speaker 1: world ending because of that? No, it's not. None of
- 12:51Speaker 1: the things that I just mentioned are actually happening. We
- 12:54Speaker 1: don't have a civil war. Okay, the world's not ending, right,
- 12:59Speaker 1: None of these things are actually happening. I want to
- 13:02Speaker 1: make that also very clear. So when this professor tells
- 13:07Speaker 1: you a civil war is going to happen over rov
- 13:09Speaker 1: way because they're treating things differently in one state compare
- 13:13Speaker 1: the next state, and they say this, they're just flat
- 13:16Speaker 1: outlying to you. This happens every day on major issues,
- 13:19Speaker 1: including drugs. In fact, there are different drugs that you
- 13:22Speaker 1: can have in different levels in different places. That's how
- 13:25Speaker 1: every state is different. Same with gun laws, and you
- 13:28Speaker 1: respect the laws of the state that you're in, and
- 13:32Speaker 1: to compare this to a civil war parallel with abortion, saying, quote,
- 13:36Speaker 1: you literally are pursuing people across the state borders for
- 13:39Speaker 1: seeking medical care that is legal. There are different things
- 13:42Speaker 1: in different states that are legal and illegal. It happens
- 13:44Speaker 1: every day. Your job is a citizen is to know
- 13:47Speaker 1: what the laws of the state are that you're in.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Back to NBC News. Legal disputes between states are not uncommon,
- 13:55Speaker 1: even over big social issues. An example is cannabiscy They
- 13:58Speaker 1: even use my example where I read it legal right
- 14:02Speaker 1: now in some states, allegal and others. But no other
- 14:05Speaker 1: recent issue of dispute among the states comes close in
- 14:08Speaker 1: terms of implications and the passion on both sides of
- 14:11Speaker 1: the argument as abortion. That's also lie. I can go
- 14:15Speaker 1: to jail in Washing, INDC. For carrying an AR fifteen
- 14:18Speaker 1: for decades. If I had a handgun and I have
- 14:23Speaker 1: ammunition on me, it gets even worse. So don't tell me, okay,
- 14:29Speaker 1: that that there's nothing comparable. That's a lie. There is
- 14:34Speaker 1: absolutely comparability here, major, easy, simple moments where you can
- 14:41Speaker 1: look and see, yes, this is extremely comparable. When I
- 14:46Speaker 1: moved to Washing, INDC. I couldn't even take my guns
- 14:49Speaker 1: with me, because I'd be a convicted felon to lose
- 14:51Speaker 1: my right to vote and go to prison, a federal
- 14:54Speaker 1: prison for having a firearm in case someone kicked in
- 14:57Speaker 1: the back door. So what did I have? I had
- 14:59Speaker 1: a knife because that's what they would allow me to have.
- 15:03Speaker 1: It's ridiculous, but that's the state I lived in. Did
- 15:06Speaker 1: I break that law? No? Could. I don't want to
- 15:08Speaker 1: be a convicted felon. Did I think about a civil
- 15:13Speaker 1: war because of that? No. Quote. It's one thing to
- 15:18Speaker 1: have states fighting with each other about attacks on interstate
- 15:21Speaker 1: cargo or mud flaps on trucks, said Wendy Parmett, a
- 15:26Speaker 1: professor of law and public policy at Northeastern University School
- 15:29Speaker 1: of Public Policy and Urban Affairs. She goes on to say,
- 15:32Speaker 1: it's not the kind of thing that tens of thousands
- 15:35Speaker 1: of people take to the streets over We certainly have
- 15:38Speaker 1: not seen this sense of civil war where these kinds
- 15:41Speaker 1: of conflicts between the states and context of such heightened
- 15:44Speaker 1: controversy and anger. Black Lives Matter was pretty angry, and
- 15:49Speaker 1: there were actually massive events, and you guys didn't say
- 15:54Speaker 1: we were about to have a civil war. Then, while
- 15:55Speaker 1: they were actually burning down and taking over cities and
- 15:57Speaker 1: creating fake countries. But now because of Roe v. Wade
- 16:02Speaker 1: and some women in pussycat hats get all angry on
- 16:05Speaker 1: a Saturday. And by the way, did none of the
- 16:07Speaker 1: things that Black Lives Matter did? Good on them for
- 16:10Speaker 1: doing that. There were no buildings burned down, no riots
- 16:13Speaker 1: or things like that. You now want me to believe
- 16:16Speaker 1: that this is going to cause a civil war, and
- 16:19Speaker 1: you write an entire article telling me that the civil
- 16:22Speaker 1: war is coming. Many pro abortion rights states move quickly
- 16:26Speaker 1: after the Supreme Court decision. Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker, a
- 16:29Speaker 1: moderate Republican, sign an executive order Friday that prohibits any
- 16:33Speaker 1: executive agency from assisting another state's investigation to a person
- 16:38Speaker 1: or inte for receiving or delivering reproductive health services that
- 16:41Speaker 1: are legal in Massachusetts. The order also seeks to protect
- 16:45Speaker 1: Massachusetts providers who deliver abortion services from losing their professional
- 16:49Speaker 1: licenses or receiving other professional disciplines discipline stemming from out
- 16:53Speaker 1: of state charges, and it decrees that Massachusetts will not
- 16:58Speaker 1: cooperate with extra requests from other from another state pursuing
- 17:02Speaker 1: criminal charges against people who receive assists with or perform
- 17:06Speaker 1: reproductive health services that are illegal in Massachusetts. By the way,
- 17:10Speaker 1: this is exactly why I love states rights. None of
- 17:13Speaker 1: what I just told you freaks me out. This is
- 17:18Speaker 1: what states rights are supposed to be about. Like, everybody
- 17:23Speaker 1: should be pumped about this, not upset about it. The
- 17:28Speaker 1: states are actually getting the rights back. And if you
- 17:30Speaker 1: as a state decide that you don't want to extradite
- 17:32Speaker 1: somebody to another state over a states rights issue in
- 17:36Speaker 1: your state, that's not a bad thing, and it doesn't
- 17:39Speaker 1: mean that we're about to have a civil war. But
- 17:43Speaker 1: this is what stupid people do. This is what stupid
- 17:46Speaker 1: people say. These are the types of things that's stupid
- 17:49Speaker 1: people will talk about and will write about an NBC
- 17:53Speaker 1: News we're on the verge of a civil war, which
- 17:55Speaker 1: would mean that six million men would be willing to
- 17:57Speaker 1: die over the abortion issue. There is no way there's
- 18:01Speaker 1: six million dudes that are willing to die. Second thing,
- 18:04Speaker 1: not trying to be mean, just being honest. How many
- 18:07Speaker 1: liberal dudes even own a gun? Usually liberal dudes are
- 18:10Speaker 1: anti gun, So how are you going to start a
- 18:12Speaker 1: civil war? If you're a liberal dude with a liberal
- 18:14Speaker 1: chick that's demanding an abortion right. I mean, I mean,
- 18:18Speaker 1: I'm not trying to be me. I'm just being honest, Like,
- 18:19Speaker 1: you're not exactly the most manly man out there. I
- 18:22Speaker 1: have a hard time buying that a bunch of woke
- 18:24Speaker 1: Beto Rourke, Joe Biden dudes are about to take up
- 18:27Speaker 1: arms when they're anti gun in the first place, and
- 18:30Speaker 1: then start a civil war. I'm not concerned. You know,
- 18:35Speaker 1: everybody was freaking out over the weekend that a bunch
- 18:37Speaker 1: of feminists were gonna like burn down cities, and I laughed.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I said, they're not going to and they're like, oh,
- 18:43Speaker 1: you don't know that. I'm like, yeah, I do. They'll
- 18:46Speaker 1: go out there with their pussycat hats, right, they'll do that,
- 18:48Speaker 1: but they're not going to go out there and start
- 18:50Speaker 1: a civil war. They're not gonna go out there and
- 18:52Speaker 1: burn down cities like Black Lives Matter. That's not their thing, right.
- 18:56Speaker 1: The thing is to whine and complain and yell and scream.
- 19:00Speaker 1: But they're not burning stuff down. They're not gonna loot,
- 19:02Speaker 1: they're not gonna set stores in their neighborhoods on fire.
- 19:07Speaker 1: They're feminists, right, they scream and yell at you, but
- 19:11Speaker 1: that's about it, and they'll go on a sex strike.
- 19:13Speaker 1: That's their I guess that's their definition of burning down
- 19:16Speaker 1: a store, Like we don't have you know, we're not
- 19:19Speaker 1: gonna burn down a store, but you know what we
- 19:20Speaker 1: are gonna do. We're gonna tell you you can't. You
- 19:22Speaker 1: can't have sex with me for as long as I decide. Okay,
- 19:27Speaker 1: sounds good, you know, like Pink is the singer, is
- 19:31Speaker 1: a perfect example of this. What did Pink do? You know?
- 19:35Speaker 1: You Republicans better not listen to my music again? Blank you? Okay,
- 19:40Speaker 1: Like that's exactly what I expected from the feminists, Like,
- 19:42Speaker 1: don't listen to my music anymore? Okay, got it. That's
- 19:45Speaker 1: not even anywhere close to a civil war breaking out.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Democrat New York governor has also signed legislation this week
- 19:54Speaker 1: that shields providers and patients from civil liabilities in connection
- 19:58Speaker 1: with abortion really claims from out of state. Her office said.
- 20:02Speaker 1: The legislation also prohibits state courts from cooperating in civil
- 20:08Speaker 1: or criminal lawsuits stemming from abortions that take place legally
- 20:11Speaker 1: in New York, and prohibits law enforcement from cooperating with
- 20:15Speaker 1: anti abortion states investigations into New York abortions. Quote. Today,
- 20:21Speaker 1: we are taking action to protect our service providers from
- 20:24Speaker 1: the retaliatory actions of anti abortion states and ensure that
- 20:28Speaker 1: New York will always be a safe harbor for those
- 20:30Speaker 1: seeking reproductive healthcare. Again, this is states rights. None of
- 20:34Speaker 1: this says anything like anything close to Hey, we're about
- 20:37Speaker 1: to have a civil war. But if you tell people
- 20:44Speaker 1: of civil wars coming, they're gonna believe you, aren't they right?
- 20:48Speaker 1: You're gonna blame Republicans for this, and then maybe you
- 20:50Speaker 1: won't vote for them in the midterms. I think that's
- 20:53Speaker 1: a strategy here. Tell everybody the Republicans changing this is
- 21:00Speaker 1: going to make a bunch of people die, that we're
- 21:02Speaker 1: gonna take up arms. And again, I don't see a
- 21:04Speaker 1: bunch of feminists taking up arms. They're anti gun anyway.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Majority of feminists are actually anti gun. Okay, that's that's
- 21:12Speaker 1: the reality. They are anti gun. You think they're gonna
- 21:17Speaker 1: get trained up and start blowing people away in the
- 21:20Speaker 1: South over and in states where now. I do believe
- 21:23Speaker 1: that there are anarchists out there that will blow up,
- 21:25Speaker 1: you know, adoption offices like we've seen. I think they
- 21:29Speaker 1: will blow up pro life offices and fire bond them. Sure,
- 21:34Speaker 1: But do I think they're gonna actually go out there
- 21:36Speaker 1: and do what they're saying, which is start of civil war?
- 21:38Speaker 1: Come on, really, like you you actually want me to
- 21:42Speaker 1: believe that's gonna happen. Yes, that's what they're selling. So
- 21:47Speaker 1: why are they selling it so you'll vote for them
- 21:49Speaker 1: in the midterms? Why are they putting all this out
- 21:52Speaker 1: there and acting like, you know, wow, the bunch of
- 21:55Speaker 1: people are gonna die, but just vote for Democrats will
- 21:58Speaker 1: be okay. Today, we are taking action to protect our
- 22:02Speaker 1: service providers from retaliatory actions. As New York put it again,
- 22:05Speaker 1: this is a state's rights issue. If you want to
- 22:07Speaker 1: do this, I don't have a problem with It's the
- 22:09Speaker 1: states rights issue. Experts say a huge unanswered question is
- 22:13Speaker 1: what will happen with abortion drugs, which have actually not
- 22:17Speaker 1: been affected by rov Wade, a pro abortion rights organization,
- 22:20Speaker 1: by the way, are trying to get women on board
- 22:22Speaker 1: by saying that they're going to get rid of those
- 22:24Speaker 1: drugs as well. The Attorney General Merrick Garland said on
- 22:27Speaker 1: Friday that states may not ban abortion drugs on the
- 22:31Speaker 1: grounds that they are dangerous because the FDA has approved them.
- 22:34Speaker 1: Legal experts say it's not clear the federal government can
- 22:37Speaker 1: force states to allow people to receive the drugs for
- 22:40Speaker 1: use in abortions from other states through the mail. Are
- 22:44Speaker 1: there some complications going to happen? Yes? Do I think
- 22:47Speaker 1: a civil war is going to break out because the
- 22:49Speaker 1: complication is known. Anytime you change a law, right and
- 22:52Speaker 1: the abortions laws have changed, they've gone back to the states.
- 22:56Speaker 1: You're going to have some clarification period here with anything.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Federal government, by the way, regulates the mail, but states
- 23:04Speaker 1: regulate doctors and pharmacies. It's going to be hard to
- 23:06Speaker 1: say that the federal government overrides the states completely, which
- 23:10Speaker 1: is exactly what's happened in this country far too many times.
- 23:13Speaker 1: The federal government has overstepped their bounds. And now this
- 23:20Speaker 1: is a course correction on that. So if there's some
- 23:22Speaker 1: pain for the federal government because they're losing power, that
- 23:26Speaker 1: is always a good thing. Moreover, they write whatever approach
- 23:32Speaker 1: the Biden administration takes, NBC News rights can be reversed
- 23:37Speaker 1: if Republicans win the twenty twenty four election. And there's
- 23:40Speaker 1: your bias from NBC News. See I told you they
- 23:43Speaker 1: were going to say this. Don't vote for Republicans in
- 23:45Speaker 1: the midterms, and don't vote for the Republicans in twenty
- 23:48Speaker 1: twenty four in the president election, because if you do,
- 23:50Speaker 1: this is what's going to happen. The other wildcard is
- 23:55Speaker 1: how the conservative majority on the Supreme Court might rule
- 23:58Speaker 1: on such issues. Quote, nobody can know what the law is,
- 24:03Speaker 1: Parmette said, because we have an ascendant conservative legal movement
- 24:08Speaker 1: that is pushing the boundaries. So NBC News puts out
- 24:14Speaker 1: this liberal propaganda warning you that you better be careful
- 24:18Speaker 1: and watch out with these Republicans because if you don't,
- 24:22Speaker 1: they may put you in jail. And if and that's
- 24:25Speaker 1: not even what you should be worried about. What you
- 24:26Speaker 1: should really be worried about, they're saying, Right, the real
- 24:31Speaker 1: thing you need to be worried about is that there's
- 24:33Speaker 1: a civil war that's going to break out and six
- 24:36Speaker 1: million people are gonna die over abortion. Their headline abortion rights.
- 24:42Speaker 1: There's another war between the states coming over abortion. And
- 24:45Speaker 1: before the Civil War, northern southern states did battle over
- 24:48Speaker 1: fugitive slaves. Once again, something legal in Wednesday is legal
- 24:52Speaker 1: in a state next door. That is, by the way,
- 24:54Speaker 1: happening every single day in every state. Okay, we is
- 25:00Speaker 1: a great example of that. Weed is a prime example.
- 25:06Speaker 1: And no one claimed that there was going to be
- 25:09Speaker 1: a civil war. By the way, Colorado is actually outside
- 25:14Speaker 1: of the federal law and weed, but the federal government
- 25:17Speaker 1: has decided not to act. Just throw that out there.
- 25:20Speaker 1: You might want to know that. But this is the
- 25:24Speaker 1: ball game. We will terrorize you into believing that the
- 25:29Speaker 1: Republicans are starting a civil war. So that's why you
- 25:32Speaker 1: should vote for us, because we promise you that we
- 25:35Speaker 1: will never let that happen. Just a little side note.
- 25:38Speaker 1: It was the Democrats, by the way, that didn't want
- 25:40Speaker 1: to give up their slaves. It was the Republicans that
- 25:42Speaker 1: freed the slaves. So if you want to talk about
- 25:47Speaker 1: the civil war, there's something you should talk about. It
- 25:50Speaker 1: was the Democrats. It was the Democrats, not the Republicans,
- 25:58Speaker 1: that fought to keep their slaves. NBC News, by the way,
- 26:04Speaker 1: it's not the only news organization that's getting in on
- 26:06Speaker 1: this doomsday or you know, freak out your audience, make
- 26:10Speaker 1: them think the world's gonna end. Okay, just so you
- 26:13Speaker 1: know they're not the only ones. Let me give you
- 26:17Speaker 1: The Hill newspaper Doctors headline says, who perform abortions will
- 26:22Speaker 1: be targeted for prosecution. South Dakota governor says, well, that's
- 26:27Speaker 1: normally what happens if a doctor goes outside of the law, right,
- 26:33Speaker 1: I mean the same thing would happen if doctors are
- 26:35Speaker 1: started assisting with suicides or prescribing painkillers as you know,
- 26:41Speaker 1: doctor shopping knowing that the person's an attict. Right, Like
- 26:44Speaker 1: this headline could apply to anything, right, I'll read it
- 26:48Speaker 1: and just apply it. Doctors who perform abortions will be
- 26:51Speaker 1: targeted for prosecution abortion you know in South Dakota governor says, okay,
- 26:55Speaker 1: let's change it to this, doctors who perform assist a
- 26:58Speaker 1: suicide will be targeted for prosecution. And South Dakota governor says,
- 27:01Speaker 1: still be a true headline, right, because she would say
- 27:03Speaker 1: that doctors who provide narcotics for addicts will be targeted
- 27:11Speaker 1: for prosecution. To say headline would still be true. I mean,
- 27:16Speaker 1: this is this is not crazy. South Dakota Governor Chris
- 27:21Speaker 1: you know them, on Sunday said doctors to perform abortions
- 27:24Speaker 1: will absolutely be prosecuted in her state after a new
- 27:27Speaker 1: trigger law went into effect following the Supreme Courts overturning
- 27:30Speaker 1: of revieweight. On Friday, Gnome told TBS's Face Nation hosts
- 27:34Speaker 1: Margaret Brennan that while South Dakota would charge doctors who
- 27:38Speaker 1: violate the abortion man, the state will not prosecute the mothers. Quote.
- 27:42Speaker 1: We will continue to have those debates on how we
- 27:44Speaker 1: can support these mothers and what it means to really
- 27:47Speaker 1: make sure we are not prosecuting mothers even in a
- 27:50Speaker 1: situation like this. She wanted to say. Okay, so the
- 27:53Speaker 1: headline is a lot scarier than the compassion you're actually
- 27:56Speaker 1: hearing about right now from Chrisy Nome. Isn't that interesting
- 28:00Speaker 1: because the headline says something totally different, doesn't it? Right?
- 28:05Speaker 1: The headlines like we're gonna lock up everybody, Like, no, no,
- 28:08Speaker 1: we're not even gonna We're not gonna prosecute the mom
- 28:11Speaker 1: if they get busted. But what we will do is
- 28:13Speaker 1: we will prosecuate the doctor who has the medical license. Christy, No,
- 28:18Speaker 1: I'm saying, we're gonna have compassion and understanding for the woman. Right,
- 28:23Speaker 1: We're not prosecuting mothers even a situation like this. It
- 28:27Speaker 1: will always be focused towards a doctor who knowingly breaks
- 28:29Speaker 1: the law to perform abortions. In our state. With row overturned,
- 28:34Speaker 1: states can now enforce bans or increase restrictions on abortion.
- 28:38Speaker 1: At States Rights, You're welcome. It's in our constitution. It's
- 28:42Speaker 1: amazing how much the media hates our constitution. Right. With
- 28:46Speaker 1: row overturned, states can now enforce their bands or increase restrictions.
- 28:50Speaker 1: And South Dakota has a trigger law that immediately went
- 28:52Speaker 1: into effect and banned abortions in the state, falling the
- 28:55Speaker 1: lifting of the precedent in South Dakota. By the way,
- 28:58Speaker 1: abortions are legal and perform the operations now a felony
- 29:02Speaker 1: unless it will save the life of the mother. There
- 29:04Speaker 1: are no exceptions for rape or incest. That's the law.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Nom also said she would seek to ban telemess and
- 29:12Speaker 1: appointments for abortions, looking to stop abortion care providers from
- 29:15Speaker 1: shipping abortion pills to women after an online consultation. The
- 29:20Speaker 1: governor also defended her states new restrictions on abortion, arguing
- 29:23Speaker 1: that every life is precious and that new technology showed
- 29:27Speaker 1: how cruel the abortion procedure is for the unborn. Quote,
- 29:32Speaker 1: we know so much more using technology and science than
- 29:35Speaker 1: we did even ten fifteen years ago about what these
- 29:39Speaker 1: babies go through and the pain they feel in the womb.
- 29:42Speaker 1: She said, we're putting resources in front of these women
- 29:46Speaker 1: and walking alongside them, getting them the healthcare, the mental
- 29:50Speaker 1: health counseling services that they need. What a great idea.
- 29:57Speaker 1: But you read the headline and what they act like
- 30:01Speaker 1: is is that like conservatives are coming after revenge. They're not.
- 30:05Speaker 1: They're just saying, here is our law, and this is
- 30:08Speaker 1: what we're going to do. And I think that Christy
- 30:10Speaker 1: nom also clearly willing to show compassion, and the way
- 30:16Speaker 1: that she showed that compassion is clear. We're not going
- 30:19Speaker 1: to prosecute a mother who gets an illegal abortion. We will, though,
- 30:23Speaker 1: go after the doctor who knowingly broke the law. Does
- 30:29Speaker 1: that sound like a civil wars a bat about to
- 30:31Speaker 1: break out? Does it? No? But the media wants to
- 30:36Speaker 1: scare you into voting for the left, and so that's
- 30:39Speaker 1: why they keep trying to sell you this. Make sure,
