Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Direct from Hollywood with Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Most entertainers who reached a certain level of familiarity with
- 0:06Speaker 2: the general public will discover that there's another actor or a
- 0:08Speaker 2: musician who looks enough like them that fans may meet
- 0:11Speaker 2: and mistake one for the other, But rarely do they
- 0:14Speaker 2: end up doing a scene on screen together. But Zach Cherry,
- 0:17Speaker 2: who plays the lovable Dylan G on Severance, found himself
- 0:20Speaker 2: acting with his celebrity doppelganger when fellow actor Adrian Martinez
- 0:25Speaker 2: played the manager of a door company interviewing Dylan G
- 0:28Speaker 2: for a job, and Adrian was intentionally cast because of
- 0:31Speaker 2: their physical similarities. Zach tells Variety. I told Adrian while
- 0:34Speaker 2: we were shooting the scene that there have been multiple
- 0:36Speaker 2: times in real life where people have complimented me for
- 0:38Speaker 2: his work. Fans will say, hey, man, I loved you
- 0:40Speaker 2: and focus so I'll look up that film or whatever
- 0:43Speaker 2: it may be that I was not in and he
- 0:46Speaker 2: is in, and it's fun to do that with him.
- 0:47Speaker 2: It's very surreal. There were times shooting that scene where
- 0:51Speaker 2: I was tripping out. They made him look even more
- 0:53Speaker 2: like me than he usually does. It was almost too
- 0:56Speaker 2: surreal to focus that Severance star Zach Cherry doing a
- 1:00Speaker 2: scene with his celebrity doppelganger Adrian Martinez. New episodes, by
- 1:03Speaker 2: the way, Severance Friday's Apple TV Plus
- 1:06Speaker 1: That's direct from Hollywood.
