- 0:00Speaker 1: Our farmers are being hurt badly by you know, they
- 0:03Speaker 1: have very good workers.
- 0:04Speaker 2: They've worked for him for twenty years.
- 0:06Speaker 1: They're not citizens, but they've turned out to be, you know, great.
- 0:10Speaker 2: So we're we're.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Going to have an order on that pretty soon. I
- 0:13Speaker 1: think we can't do that to our farmers and leisure too, hotels.
- 0:17Speaker 1: We're gonna have Jesus want to come and say so.
- 0:20Speaker 3: That you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
- 0:23Speaker 3: Ben Ferguson.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Good Saturday morning to you.
- 0:25Speaker 4: Ben Ferguson with you, and these are some of the
- 0:28Speaker 4: stories that you may have missed that we talked about
- 0:30Speaker 4: this week on the forty seven Morning Update. First up,
- 0:33Speaker 4: you may want to know what started all of this
- 0:36Speaker 4: in California. Well, Ice came in and we're going to
- 0:39Speaker 4: tell you the stories of those who they were arresting.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Up next, we're also going to talk about Donald Trump
- 0:45Speaker 4: and what he had to say at Fort Bragg about
- 0:48Speaker 4: holding the people in La accountable for the lawlessness that
- 0:52Speaker 4: we're witnessing. And finally, we also have a very big
- 0:56Speaker 4: report as well on where the money's coming from, and
- 1:00Speaker 4: an official investigation has been launched in Congress by Senator
- 1:04Speaker 4: Josh Holly, We'll give you the details of the organizations,
- 1:09Speaker 4: and the scary part is some of your tax dollars
- 1:11Speaker 4: we're going to some of these groups. It's the forty
- 1:15Speaker 4: seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 1:19Speaker 4: The mayor of La Karen Bass, put out his statement saying, quote,
- 1:24Speaker 4: this morning, we receive reports of federal immigration enforcement actions
- 1:28Speaker 4: in multiple locations in Los Angeles. As mayor of a
- 1:32Speaker 4: proud city of immigrants who contribute to our city in
- 1:36Speaker 4: so many ways, she's referring to legal immigrants, I'm deeply
- 1:39Speaker 4: angered by what has taken place. These tactics so tear
- 1:44Speaker 4: in our communities and disrupt basic principles of safety in
- 1:47Speaker 4: our city. So to be clear, the mayor is saying
- 1:50Speaker 4: that the law enforcement agencies are the terrorists, and the
- 1:54Speaker 4: people that are in terrorist organizations we are protecting. She
- 1:59Speaker 4: went on to say, my office is in close coordination
- 2:02Speaker 4: with immigrant rights community organizations, meaning we are advocating and
- 2:06Speaker 4: defending the illegal immigrants who are being prosecuted by ICE.
- 2:10Speaker 4: And she then says, we will not stand for this.
- 2:14Speaker 4: So the question that you should ask now is well,
- 2:17Speaker 4: who were they trying to arrest? Let me just go
- 2:20Speaker 4: through some of the names for you. The Department of
- 2:23Speaker 4: Homeland Security, for example, is confirmed that the Vietnamese illegal
- 2:27Speaker 4: alien ICE arrest in the LA operation yesterday is a
- 2:31Speaker 4: convicted murderer and gang member who was involved in shooting
- 2:35Speaker 4: up a high school graduation party in San Marino in
- 2:40Speaker 4: nineteen ninety four, killing not one two young teenagers with
- 2:44Speaker 4: a bright future and injuring seven others. The individual and
- 2:49Speaker 4: other gang members were asked to leave the party after
- 2:52Speaker 4: a dispute.
- 2:53Speaker 2: What do they do?
- 2:54Speaker 4: They came back with an AK forty seven shotguns and
- 2:58Speaker 4: a handgun and then open fire, killing an eighteen year
- 3:02Speaker 4: old teen and a fifteen year old teen. This is
- 3:06Speaker 4: exactly who the Democrats are defending and hiding from ICE agents,
- 3:12Speaker 4: the Department of Home in Security spokesman saying in a statement,
- 3:15Speaker 4: this coldbodic killer is who the Rioters are trying to
- 3:18Speaker 4: protect over US citizens. The brave men and women of
- 3:22Speaker 4: ICE put their lives on the line every day to
- 3:25Speaker 4: arrest violent criminals like this and protect the lives of
- 3:29Speaker 4: American citizens.
- 3:30Speaker 2: That's not all.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Jesus Hernandez Morales is a Mexican national and an aggravated
- 3:36Speaker 4: felon with prior conviction for conspiracy to transport an illegal alien.
- 3:41Speaker 4: Thank goodness, he was deported yesterday. Jose Merendez Ortiz is
- 3:46Speaker 4: an Ecuadorian national with convictions for conspiracy to possess with
- 3:51Speaker 4: intent to distribute not one, not two, not three, not four,
- 3:56Speaker 4: but five kilos of cocaine on a single trip in Florida.
- 4:01Speaker 4: Linel Sanchez Laguna a Mexican national with convictions for firing
- 4:06Speaker 4: a gun at an occupied dwelling in the oc also
- 4:10Speaker 4: battery of a spouse, beating his wife and wilful child,
- 4:15Speaker 4: cruelty in oc plus at Dui, and an assault with
- 4:19Speaker 4: a firearm. He had deportation orders since twenty twenty, and yes,
- 4:25Speaker 4: the Democrats were protecting him as well. So if you
- 4:29Speaker 4: think that Ice is out there just randomly grabbing people,
- 4:32Speaker 4: well that's what the media wants you to believe. But
- 4:35Speaker 4: they're lying to you, just like they say these are
- 4:38Speaker 4: quote peaceful protests.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Next story number two.
- 4:42Speaker 4: President Donald Trump went to Fort Hood and he also
- 4:45Speaker 4: took a moment to make sure that the American people
- 4:48Speaker 4: knew what he believed in his stance on what is
- 4:51Speaker 4: happening in La now. Not only was he greeted with
- 4:55Speaker 4: cheers from the troops. He also talked about giving back
- 4:59Speaker 4: the old name a fort hood over whatever they called
- 5:02Speaker 4: it before. In the Woke Ajenda the last administration, Donald
- 5:06Speaker 4: Trump telling the soldiers the LA protests are a national
- 5:10Speaker 4: security risk.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Here's more of what he had to say.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Before going further, I want to say a few words
- 5:15Speaker 1: about the situation in Los Angeles, California. Have you heard
- 5:19Speaker 1: of the place where I've deployed thousands of National Guard
- 5:23Speaker 1: troops and hundreds of Marines to protect federal law enforcement
- 5:27Speaker 1: from the attacks of a vicious and violent mob. And
- 5:31Speaker 1: some of the radical left they say, oh, that's not nice. Well,
- 5:33Speaker 1: if we didn't do it, there wouldn't be a Los
- 5:35Speaker 1: Angeles would be burning today, just like the houses were
- 5:37Speaker 1: burning a number of months ago. Generations of army heroes
- 5:42Speaker 1: did not shed their blood on distant shores only to
- 5:45Speaker 1: watch our country be destroyed by invasion and third world
- 5:49Speaker 1: lawlessness here at home, like is happening in California. As
- 5:54Speaker 1: commander in chief, I will not let that happens, never
- 5:57Speaker 1: going to happen. What you're witnessing in California is a
- 6:00Speaker 1: full blown assault on peace, on public order, and a
- 6:04Speaker 1: national sovereignty carried out by rioters bearing foreign flags with
- 6:09Speaker 1: the aim of continuing a foreign invasion of our country.
- 6:13Speaker 2: We're not going to let that happen.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Under the Trump administration. This anarchy will not stand. We
- 6:19Speaker 1: will not allow federal agents to be attacked, and we
- 6:22Speaker 1: will not allow an American city to be invaded and
- 6:25Speaker 1: conquered by a foreign enemy. That's what they are. A
- 6:29Speaker 1: lot of those people will lit in here by the
- 6:30Speaker 1: Biden administration. They just poured right in.
- 6:33Speaker 2: They just poured right in now.
- 6:36Speaker 4: There's also another few that is happening right now, and
- 6:39Speaker 4: that is between Gavin News Simmon, Donald Trump, and the
- 6:43Speaker 4: latest clash is well over a lie. Apparently the Gaven
- 6:46Speaker 4: News I'm told about not having a call with President Trump. Well,
- 6:50Speaker 4: guess what the Trump administration says. We've got the receipts.
- 6:54Speaker 4: President Trump telling Fox News did he contact the Gaven
- 6:58Speaker 4: News from the governor of California on June seventh, and
- 7:00Speaker 4: in fact, they spoke for about sixteen minutes to discuss
- 7:03Speaker 4: the unrest in Los Angeles. He's now offered a screenshot
- 7:07Speaker 4: of a call log as proof. Newsom, of course, is
- 7:11Speaker 4: denying any communication with Donald Trump in the past day,
- 7:15Speaker 4: stating there was quote no call or voicemail and accusing
- 7:19Speaker 4: the White House of misleading the public.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Now, he maintained that while he.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Did speak with Trump late Friday night around one thirty
- 7:27Speaker 4: am Saturday, the National Guard deployment never came up during
- 7:31Speaker 4: the nearly twenty minute conversation. He called Trump a stone
- 7:34Speaker 4: cold liar for mischaracterizing what happened in the call. Now,
- 7:39Speaker 4: the key discrepancy here is this, the log showed June
- 7:42Speaker 4: seventh at won twenty three am, and he publicly declared
- 7:45Speaker 4: the call happened a day ago. Newsom now is acknowledging
- 7:50Speaker 4: a Friday late night chat, but emphasized the national Guard
- 7:53Speaker 4: issue was not mentioned then, and then any claim of
- 7:56Speaker 4: a recent call is quote false. So yet again you've
- 8:00Speaker 4: got a story changing and the governor lying to the people,
- 8:05Speaker 4: all for a political reason. The disagreement is also part
- 8:09Speaker 4: of the escalating tension around Donald Trump having to send
- 8:13Speaker 4: in the National Guard and the people in la feeling unsafe.
- 8:17Speaker 4: This is now moving into multiple days of protests and
- 8:20Speaker 4: it does not look like the governor or the mayor
- 8:24Speaker 4: has anything really under control. In fact, take a listen
- 8:28Speaker 4: to the mayor of La in her own words at
- 8:31Speaker 4: her press conference, we need.
- 8:33Speaker 5: To stop the raids. There should should not be happening
- 8:37Speaker 5: in our city. It is not warranted and it does
- 8:41Speaker 5: The only thing it does is contribute to chaos. This
- 8:44Speaker 5: was chaos that was started at Washington, DC on Thursday.
- 8:49Speaker 5: The city was peaceful on Friday. It was not because
- 8:53Speaker 5: of the intervention of the federal government.
- 8:56Speaker 2: That also a lie from the mayor.
- 8:58Speaker 4: We have pictures and proof of cars being set on
- 9:02Speaker 4: fire before the National Guard was sent in.
- 9:05Speaker 2: We have pictures and.
- 9:06Speaker 4: Proof video of the police being attacked in LA The
- 9:10Speaker 4: Vice President JD Vance putting a tweet out saying this.
- 9:14Speaker 4: Kevin Newsom says he didn't have a problem until Trump
- 9:17Speaker 4: got involved. Both of these photos were taken before the
- 9:20Speaker 4: President authorized the National Guard to go protect our border
- 9:24Speaker 4: patrol in California. The pictures show the massive smoke, cars
- 9:28Speaker 4: on fire and also the vandalism of actual police cars
- 9:32Speaker 4: by the rioteurs. JD Vance goes on to say, this
- 9:36Speaker 4: does this look like quote unquote no problem. Newsom and
- 9:40Speaker 4: his students Kene Bass have encouraged the riots because their
- 9:44Speaker 4: entire political movement exists for one purpose, to promote mass
- 9:48Speaker 4: migration into our country. It is their reason for being Democratic.
- 9:54Speaker 4: Leadership has no solution for the economy, for prosperity, or
- 9:58Speaker 4: for security. They use their power when they're in the
- 10:01Speaker 4: majority to import millions of illegal immigrants, and when they're
- 10:05Speaker 4: in the opposition, they do everything possible to prevent deportations.
- 10:10Speaker 4: Jadie Vance went on to say, quote, under Newsom's leadership,
- 10:13Speaker 4: Medicaid was extended to all legal immigrants in twenty twenty four.
- 10:17Speaker 4: This means that he elected to take health care from
- 10:21Speaker 4: impoverished and disabled Californians and give it to illegal aliens.
- 10:25Speaker 4: And now everything is President Trump's fault. Give me a break.
- 10:29Speaker 4: If you want to know why illegal aliens flock to
- 10:31Speaker 4: your state, stop accusing Donald Trump. Look in the mirror.
- 10:35Speaker 4: If you want to know why border patrol fear for
- 10:37Speaker 4: their lives over enforcing the law, look in the mirror.
- 10:41Speaker 4: It was your policies that encourage mass migration into California.
- 10:46Speaker 4: Your policies that protected those migrants from common sense law enforcement.
- 10:51Speaker 4: Your policies that offered massive welfare benefits to reward illegal immigrants.
- 10:56Speaker 4: Your policies that allowed those illegal immigrants and their sympathizers
- 11:01Speaker 4: to assault our law enforcement, your policies that allowed Los
- 11:04Speaker 4: Angeles to turn into a war zone. You sure as
- 11:07Speaker 4: hell had a problem before President Trump came along. The
- 11:11Speaker 4: problem is you, Now, the facts are a stubborn thing,
- 11:15Speaker 4: and the fact is there was anarchy and looting and
- 11:19Speaker 4: cars being set on fire, roadways being shut down, and
- 11:22Speaker 4: police being attacked before Donald Trump sent in the National Guard.
- 11:27Speaker 4: So make sure that you share this information with everyone
- 11:31Speaker 4: you know, because the facts are a stubborn thing, especially
- 11:36Speaker 4: on this issue.
- 11:36Speaker 2: And finally, story number.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Three, President Trump not backing down and protecting LA and
- 11:42Speaker 4: any other city where these radical extremists are starting these riots.
- 11:47Speaker 4: At Fort Bragg, Donald Trump addressed US troops and vowed
- 11:50Speaker 4: deliberate Los Angeles, blasting the situation as third world lawlessness
- 11:56Speaker 4: and accusing rioters of bearing foreign flags. He also defended
- 12:01Speaker 4: the deployment of approximately four thousand National Guard troops and
- 12:05Speaker 4: seven hundred marines, citing their role in protecting ice agents
- 12:08Speaker 4: and federal buildings. Now, Trump also called the protesters animals,
- 12:13Speaker 4: a foreign enemy and paid trouble makers, which we'll have
- 12:17Speaker 4: more on that story of where the money's coming from
- 12:20Speaker 4: for all of these protests, asserting that somebody's paying them,
- 12:25Speaker 4: and we now have an investigation into that. He warned
- 12:29Speaker 4: that he would invoke the Insurrection Act if protests reach
- 12:33Speaker 4: other cities, claiming he would send troops everywhere to maintain order.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Now.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Trump has framed the unrest as part of a broader threat,
- 12:41Speaker 4: describing it as a full blown assault on peace, on
- 12:44Speaker 4: public order, and national sovereignty. He directly challenged California leaders,
- 12:50Speaker 4: calling Governor Gavin Newsom newscum and saying they are afraid
- 12:55Speaker 4: to act. Trump also insists his forceful response demonstrates decisive
- 13:00Speaker 4: leadership and exactly what the American people voted for.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Well.
- 13:05Speaker 4: The President was also at the Kennedy Center walking the
- 13:09Speaker 4: red carpet with his wife, the First Lady, and he
- 13:12Speaker 4: was asked about some of these decisions.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Take a listen, So, will you be pulling back on
- 13:17Speaker 2: the military?
- 13:19Speaker 1: Will you be pulling back on the military presence in
- 13:21Speaker 1: Los Angeles and in California soon?
- 13:23Speaker 2: What's the barometer you're using going to.
- 13:25Speaker 1: Be Absolutely, if we weren't there, if we didn't bring
- 13:29Speaker 1: in the National Good and the Marines, you would probably
- 13:32Speaker 1: have a city that was burning to the ground, just
- 13:35Speaker 1: like it was a number of months ago with the
- 13:37Speaker 1: housing you would have had a big problem there.
- 13:40Speaker 5: We were.
- 13:40Speaker 1: In fact, the police chieftain said so much. If you
- 13:43Speaker 1: look at what his statements where he said, we're very
- 13:45Speaker 1: lucky to have had that. If we weren't there, that
- 13:48Speaker 1: city would have been burning to the ground, would be
- 13:50Speaker 1: burning right now.
- 13:54Speaker 4: To unrest.
- 13:55Speaker 2: What are you prepared to do, sir, about what if
- 13:58Speaker 2: this turns well?
- 14:00Speaker 4: Just have spread out of sixteen cities across the US.
- 14:02Speaker 1: And that's what you're saying. I do I believe you.
- 14:05Speaker 1: I don't think so well. I got I can tell
- 14:07Speaker 1: you that what we have. What we have is a
- 14:10Speaker 1: situation in Los Angeles that was caused by gross and confidence.
- 14:14Speaker 1: They didn't have the police to handle it. The police
- 14:16Speaker 1: were asking us to come in. They were very late.
- 14:18Speaker 1: We had to go in to save a lot of
- 14:20Speaker 1: ice officers, as you know, who were held up. They
- 14:23Speaker 1: were pulled up in a building and they were being attacked,
- 14:27Speaker 1: and the military went in. The National Guarden went in
- 14:29Speaker 1: and got them. The police weren't able, unfortunately, to move
- 14:32Speaker 1: fast enough, but we moved fast enough, and while we
- 14:35Speaker 1: were there, we stayed there and we stopped tremendous destruction
- 14:39Speaker 1: and death. We stopped death. We stopped a lot. And
- 14:43Speaker 1: if you look at them cutting up and breaking up
- 14:44Speaker 1: the sidewalk and getting it and using it as a weapon.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Did you see that with the curb where they're breaking
- 14:50Speaker 1: up the curb, nice curb and they break it up
- 14:52Speaker 1: with a hammer because they couldn't get the bricks in.
- 14:54Speaker 1: You know, they got caught with the bricks. We have
- 14:56Speaker 1: them under arrest. They were bringing bricks into throw at our.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Police, bringing in bricks to throw at our police. Who
- 15:04Speaker 4: paid for the bricks is the big question now that
- 15:06Speaker 4: everyone is asking.
- 15:08Speaker 2: But the President is also calling on leaders governors.
- 15:12Speaker 4: To take the lead, take a stand and stop the anarchy.
- 15:16Speaker 4: And guess what many conservative governors are doing exactly that.
- 15:20Speaker 4: The governor of Texas, for example, Greg Abbott, has proactively
- 15:24Speaker 4: deployed the National Guard to San Antonio ahead of planned
- 15:28Speaker 4: anti ice demonstrations. Gavin Newsom, that's how it's done. Texas,
- 15:34Speaker 4: the governor said, will not be under siege like California.
- 15:38Speaker 4: And that's exactly the type of leadership that so many
- 15:41Speaker 4: Americans are looking for.
