- 0:01Speaker 1: What I have to do is I have to get
- 0:03Speaker 1: the workers back.
- 0:04Speaker 2: I have to get the factories open. We have ninety
- 0:06Speaker 2: thousand factories and plants are closed from what you had
- 0:10Speaker 2: just brought it a NAFTA and we gave it away.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Presidents before me gave it away, and I can name
- 0:14Speaker 2: every one of them, but they gave it away and would.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Take it back.
- 0:17Speaker 3: You're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with Ben Ferguson.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Good Wednesday morning. Ben Ferguson with you. It's nice to
- 0:24Speaker 1: have you on the forty seven Morning Update. And here
- 0:26Speaker 1: are the three big stories we've got for you today.
- 0:28Speaker 1: First up, you may be shocked to find out that
- 0:32Speaker 1: during COVID we were sending hundreds of millions of dollars
- 0:37Speaker 1: and loans to children. You want to talk about fraud.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Doge found it and I'll give you the details. Plus,
- 0:44Speaker 1: you may remember just a couple of days ago, the
- 0:46Speaker 1: Hamas protester on a college campus that got a visit
- 0:49Speaker 1: from Ice. Well, now Democrats are defending that individual. You
- 0:54Speaker 1: can't make it up. I'll give you what they're saying
- 0:56Speaker 1: about him in just a moment. And finally, you remember
- 0:59Speaker 1: that app that the Biden Harris administration used to allow
- 1:02Speaker 1: even more legal immigrants into the interior of the US. Well,
- 1:07Speaker 1: call it a reverse UNO card, because there's a new
- 1:09Speaker 1: app under Trump, but it's for self deportation. It's the
- 1:14Speaker 1: forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Story number one.
- 1:18Speaker 1: This may be one of the most shocking stories of waste,
- 1:22Speaker 1: fraud of use coming from DOGE so far. They're now
- 1:25Speaker 1: saying children aged eleven and under were granted three hundred
- 1:30Speaker 1: and twelve million dollars of your tax dollars in loans
- 1:34Speaker 1: during the coronavirus pandemic. Thousands of loans worth three hundred
- 1:40Speaker 1: and twelve million granted to children. DOGE, which is headed
- 1:44Speaker 1: by Elon Muss, said it discovered that the Small Business
- 1:48Speaker 1: Administration you may know them as SBA, had granted about
- 1:53Speaker 1: five thousand, six hundred loans worth three hundred and twelve
- 1:57Speaker 1: million to quote borrowers whose own only listed owner was
- 2:01Speaker 1: eleven years old or younger at the time the loan
- 2:06Speaker 1: was granted. These loans, by the way, were granted over
- 2:09Speaker 1: a two year period in twenty twenty and twenty twenty one. Quote.
- 2:14Speaker 1: While it is possible to have business arrangements where this
- 2:19Speaker 1: is legal. That is highly unlikely for these five thousand,
- 2:23Speaker 1: five hundred and ninety three loans, as they all also
- 2:27Speaker 1: used a SO Security number with an incorrect name. That
- 2:33Speaker 1: is what the agency posted on X when they exposed
- 2:37Speaker 1: all of this. DOGE did not say what the loans
- 2:40Speaker 1: were used for, although the agency said it would work
- 2:43Speaker 1: with the SBA to solve this problem. Quote this week,
- 2:47Speaker 1: here's something else that will also make you angry, DOGE
- 2:51Speaker 1: making this announcement along with another post. The agency also
- 2:55Speaker 1: revealed that the Small Businesssociation also issued more than three
- 3:01Speaker 1: thousand loans for three hundred and thirty three million in
- 3:05Speaker 1: twenty twenty and twenty twenty one to borrowers that were
- 3:08Speaker 1: actually over the age of one hundred and fifteen. That's right.
- 3:14Speaker 1: In twenty twenty and twenty twenty one, the Small Bit
- 3:17Speaker 1: Association issued the three thousand, ninety five loans, including the
- 3:21Speaker 1: PPP money and the Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program, for
- 3:26Speaker 1: a total of three hundred and thirty three million to
- 3:28Speaker 1: borrowers that were all over the age of one hundred
- 3:31Speaker 1: and fifteen who are still marked as alive in the
- 3:35Speaker 1: Social Security database. In one case, just so you know
- 3:39Speaker 1: how egregious. This is there was a one hundred and
- 3:42Speaker 1: fifty seven year old individual that received thirty six thousand
- 3:48Speaker 1: in loans. The agency has confirmed the discoveries come as
- 3:52Speaker 1: dogs continues its mission of rooting out fraud and wasteful
- 3:56Speaker 1: spending in the federal government. We also know from news
- 4:00Speaker 1: reporting that this may be the tip of the iceberg
- 4:03Speaker 1: of other corrupt loans that may have been given to
- 4:06Speaker 1: people that aren't even alive, or have fake names or
- 4:10Speaker 1: so security numbers that don't match other names that were
- 4:13Speaker 1: being used. Now, we all heard during COVID that there
- 4:17Speaker 1: was a lot of abuse and that they were giving
- 4:19Speaker 1: out money left and right. The question now is will
- 4:22Speaker 1: there be accountability for this? And that is where the
- 4:24Speaker 1: good news actually comes in. Not only is Doade saying
- 4:28Speaker 1: they're going to uncover this, but hopefully they're going to
- 4:31Speaker 1: find out who actually got the money, because more than
- 4:34Speaker 1: likely it wasn't a one hundred and fifty seven year
- 4:37Speaker 1: old individual that was receiving the thirty six thousand dollars.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Should these people be prosecuted, there's a very good chance
- 4:45Speaker 1: that if you took this money and you claimed you
- 4:47Speaker 1: were one hundred and fifty seven years old, You're going
- 4:50Speaker 1: to find out the hard way. Next story number two,
- 4:52Speaker 1: Donald Trump made it very clear that if you were
- 4:55Speaker 1: in this country as a guess, going to a university
- 4:58Speaker 1: in this country, and you become rati and incite violence,
- 5:02Speaker 1: or advocate for violence, or organize violence, or you're one
- 5:06Speaker 1: of those as attacking Jewish students or any other student
- 5:09Speaker 1: for that matter, of any religion, well then you're not
- 5:12Speaker 1: welcome in America. So what happens when one of those
- 5:16Speaker 1: students gets caught doing many of these things and Democrats
- 5:21Speaker 1: rally together, you think they're on the side of getting
- 5:24Speaker 1: rid of the student. No, no, no, no, Democrats are
- 5:27Speaker 1: now protesting the arrest of a Syrian radical in New York.
- 5:31Speaker 1: That's right, Democrats and their media allies are defending an
- 5:35Speaker 1: arrest of the Syrian man who led New York university
- 5:39Speaker 1: protests against Israel's post October seventh counter attack on Hamas's
- 5:45Speaker 1: Jihati killers. Now, the White House fought back today, making
- 5:49Speaker 1: it clear, with the White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt
- 5:52Speaker 1: saying this about the individual and what Donald Trump is
- 5:56Speaker 1: going to do with other students that may be thinking
- 5:59Speaker 1: about doing the same.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Well, in fact, Secretary Rubio reserves the right to revoke
- 6:06Speaker 4: the visa of Mahmoud Khalil, and I'm glad you brought
- 6:09Speaker 4: this up. Under the Immigration and Nationality Act, the Secretary
- 6:12Speaker 4: of State has the right to revoke a green card
- 6:16Speaker 4: or a visa for individuals who serve adversarial to the
- 6:20Speaker 4: foreign policy and national security interests of the United States
- 6:24Speaker 4: of America. And Mahmoud Khalil was an individual who was
- 6:27Speaker 4: given the privilege of coming to this country to study
- 6:31Speaker 4: at one of our nation's finest universities in colleges, and
- 6:35Speaker 4: he took advantage of that opportunity, of that privilege by
- 6:39Speaker 4: siding with terrorists Hamas, terrorists who have killed innocent men, women,
- 6:43Speaker 4: and children. This is an individual who organized group protests
- 6:48Speaker 4: that not only disrupted college campus classes and harassed Jewish
- 6:53Speaker 4: American students and made them feel unsafe on their own
- 6:56Speaker 4: college campus, but also distributed pro Hamas propaganda to flyers
- 7:01Speaker 4: with the logo of Hamas. That is what the behavior
- 7:04Speaker 4: and activity that this individual engaged in. And I have
- 7:07Speaker 4: those flyers on my desk. They were provided to me
- 7:10Speaker 4: by the Department of Homeland Security. I thought about bringing
- 7:12Speaker 4: them into this briefing room to share with all of you.
- 7:14Speaker 4: But I didn't think it was worth the dignity of
- 7:17Speaker 4: this room to bring that pro hamas propaganda. But that's
- 7:20Speaker 4: what this individual distributed on the campus of Columbia University.
- 7:23Speaker 4: And this administration is not going to tolerate individuals having
- 7:27Speaker 4: the privilege of studying in our country and then siding
- 7:30Speaker 4: with pro terrorist organizations that have killed Americans. We have
- 7:34Speaker 4: a zero tolerance policy for siding with terrorists, period.
- 7:38Speaker 1: One thing that seems to be very clear is that
- 7:41Speaker 1: Donald Trump and his deputies are on solid legal ground,
- 7:44Speaker 1: at least that is according to immigration lawyers, who say
- 7:48Speaker 1: that this individual number one is not a citizen, but
- 7:51Speaker 1: as a green card that allows him to live in
- 7:53Speaker 1: the United States pending an expected request for citizenship. But
- 7:57Speaker 1: the green cards provide little additional legal protection, then that's
- 8:01Speaker 1: granted to tourists. Democrats can complain and send letters like
- 8:05Speaker 1: they did this week, saying that this individual should stay
- 8:09Speaker 1: and they even claimed he was quote abducted by the
- 8:12Speaker 1: US government. I'm not joking. In fact, the liberal co
- 8:15Speaker 1: signers of this letter included Rashid Talib representativel Omar. So
- 8:21Speaker 1: when these Democrats tell you who they are, that they
- 8:24Speaker 1: are gonna always stand with radical extremists. Believe them because
- 8:28Speaker 1: they are in fact radical extremists. As for Donald Trump
- 8:31Speaker 1: and his administration, it's very clear that it's game on
- 8:34Speaker 1: if you're a radical protester in this country on a
- 8:37Speaker 1: green card, and if you're causing problems, there's a very
- 8:40Speaker 1: good chance you're going back to your home country.
- 8:43Speaker 3: And finally, story number three.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Two simple words leave now. The Trump administration is now
- 8:49Speaker 1: repurposing the controversial CBP one app to encourage self deportations.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Bill Malugin putting it out on Twitter, saying that trumpet
- 9:00Speaker 1: administration is essentially hijacked the Biden administration program, a key
- 9:05Speaker 1: pillar of his immigration policy, and has repurposed it for
- 9:09Speaker 1: the opposite effect. That's right, self deportation. That is what
- 9:14Speaker 1: the Trump administration is saying we expect. And Biden's app,
- 9:18Speaker 1: which expedited the invasion of this country by illegal immigrants,
- 9:23Speaker 1: has now been repurposed. And here is part of what
- 9:26Speaker 1: Bill Malujin had to say about this breaking news on
- 9:29Speaker 1: Fox and.
- 9:30Speaker 5: Dana, Good morning to you. So this is pretty remarkable.
- 9:32Speaker 5: The Trump administration has taken that controversial CBP one cell
- 9:36Speaker 5: phone app for migrants that the Biden administration was using,
- 9:39Speaker 5: and they've repurposed it into a self deportation app that
- 9:43Speaker 5: is officially launching today and we're getting an exclusive first
- 9:46Speaker 5: look at it.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Take a look.
- 9:47Speaker 5: The app is now called CBP Home. It allows illegal
- 9:51Speaker 5: aliens in the US to register to self deport. They
- 9:54Speaker 5: fill out biographical information including their countries of citizenship, which
- 9:58Speaker 5: country they plan to work, turn to their alien registration numbers,
- 10:02Speaker 5: their contact information, and it allows them to upload photos
- 10:06Speaker 5: of themselves to confirm their identity. All of it is
- 10:08Speaker 5: then submitted to CBP and they leave the country. Now
- 10:12Speaker 5: you might be asking yourself, well, why would an illegal
- 10:14Speaker 5: immigrant want to self deport? Well, DHS says if they
- 10:17Speaker 5: leave now, they will have the opportunity to return to
- 10:20Speaker 5: the US legally in the future and chase the American dream.
- 10:23Speaker 5: But if they don't leave, they will be found, arrested, detained,
- 10:27Speaker 5: and deported with a permanent ban on entry into the
- 10:30Speaker 5: United States. In a statement to Fox News, DHS Secretary
- 10:33Speaker 5: Christy Nome said, in part quote, the Biden administration exploited
- 10:37Speaker 5: the CBP one app to allow more than one million
- 10:39Speaker 5: aliens to illegally enter the United States with the launching
- 10:42Speaker 5: of the CBP home app. We are restoring integrity to
- 10:45Speaker 5: our immigration system. If they don't self deport, we will
- 10:48Speaker 5: find them, deport them, and they will never return. The
- 10:51Speaker 5: Biden administration's use of the CBP one app allowed more
- 10:54Speaker 5: than forty thousand migrants to come into the US at
- 10:57Speaker 5: a port of entry every single month. That totaled nearly
- 11:01Speaker 5: one million migrants by the end of his presidency. President
- 11:04Speaker 5: Trump terminated that app immediately upon taking office, leading the
- 11:07Speaker 5: scenes like this showing migrants dismayed at the border on
- 11:11Speaker 5: the day of his inauguration as they learned their CBP
- 11:14Speaker 5: one appointments were canceled and were never coming back. And
- 11:17Speaker 5: DHS tells me that any migrants who had that CBP
- 11:20Speaker 5: one app on their phone will see it automatically update
- 11:23Speaker 5: to this new self deportation app starting today, and DHS
- 11:27Speaker 5: can also use the data from the prior CBP one
- 11:29Speaker 5: registrations to track migrants for removal. So, in a nutshell
- 11:33Speaker 5: data Trump just took Biden's program which was bringing migrants
- 11:37Speaker 5: in and has now totally repurposed it to get them out.
- 11:40Speaker 1: So there's one thing here that's pretty clear. Self deport
- 11:44Speaker 1: or risk never being allowed back into this country. The
- 11:48Speaker 1: Department of Homeland Security said it best when they said,
- 11:51Speaker 1: you will maybe be able to return legally in the
- 11:54Speaker 1: future if you self deport now, but if you do not,
- 11:58Speaker 1: then you will be arrested and deported and permanently banned.
- 12:02Speaker 1: It goes back to Donald Trump's new mantra fa FO.
