- 2:09Speaker 8: one and only Steve Harvey got a radio show.
- 2:13Speaker 3: Okay, here we go today, folks.
- 2:15Speaker 8: This is a good one because today I want to
- 2:19Speaker 8: share with you something that affects every living soul, and
- 2:25Speaker 8: that one thing is your attitude.
- 2:29Speaker 3: This affects everyone. It is your attitude.
- 2:34Speaker 7: You know.
- 2:37Speaker 8: I don't know if anyone's ever told you, but I
- 2:40Speaker 8: mean many of you who listen and know this, but
- 2:43Speaker 8: there are a lot of people who don't understand. A
- 2:46Speaker 8: positive attitude can bring about a change. A positive attitude
- 2:54Speaker 8: can bring about a change. Well, now here we go
- 2:56Speaker 8: with the nay says well, Steve, what you mean if
- 2:58Speaker 8: I'm just positive being che my mama gone, What me
- 3:01Speaker 8: being positive got to do with that? Okay, now listen
- 3:04Speaker 8: to me carefully. A positive attitude can bring about change. Well, okay, Steve,
- 3:11Speaker 8: I hear you saying that, But they done fired me.
- 3:14Speaker 8: So now what does my having a positive attitude have
- 3:17Speaker 8: to do with the fact that they fired me? Well,
- 3:21Speaker 8: one more time, a positive attitude can bring about change. Well, Steve,
- 3:29Speaker 8: I set up in here and gave eight nine, twelve
- 3:33Speaker 8: years of my life to this man and he just
- 3:36Speaker 8: he cheated on me and walked out. Now what does
- 3:38Speaker 8: me being positive have to do with him cheating on me?
- 3:42Speaker 8: How that's gonna change that? Okay, here we go again.
- 3:46Speaker 8: A positive attitude can bring about change. Now listen to
- 3:50Speaker 8: the whole thing. Now, the positive attitude and the change
- 3:56Speaker 8: that can happen starts This is the start. It starts
- 4:02Speaker 8: within you. See, life is ten percent of what happens,
- 4:08Speaker 8: is ninety percent what you do about what happens. Okay,
- 4:11Speaker 8: you gave twelve years of your life to this man.
- 4:14Speaker 8: He cheated and left you holding the bag, the kids
- 4:17Speaker 8: and everything. Now what does being positive have to do
- 4:21Speaker 8: with changeing that? Or they came in and they fired you.
- 4:23Speaker 8: You lost your job that you was a stellar performer at.
- 4:27Speaker 8: But now, how does you having a positive attitude, How
- 4:30Speaker 8: does that change things? For you so far, you can
- 4:34Speaker 8: use any example. Here's what happens when you have a
- 4:39Speaker 8: positive attitude. What it produces within you is a positive
- 4:44Speaker 8: approach to life. And when you have a positive attitude
- 4:48Speaker 8: and a positive approach to life, it causes you to
- 4:53Speaker 8: be optimistic, to have a positive out look, to expect
- 4:59Speaker 8: things to eventually turn around and turn into a positive
- 5:04Speaker 8: That's very important because as the law of attraction comes
- 5:07Speaker 8: into play, if you think positive thoughts, you attract positive things.
- 5:15Speaker 3: If you think evil.
- 5:17Speaker 8: Thoughts, you attract evil to you. You know, if you
- 5:21Speaker 8: want for nothing, then nothing comes your way. If you
- 5:25Speaker 8: want for positive attitude, if you want for positive results,
- 5:28Speaker 8: if you want for a great outcome, that's what you
- 5:30Speaker 8: attract to you. The change will begin within you. So
- 5:34Speaker 8: let's take the man that walked out your life and
- 5:37Speaker 8: left you hold in the bag. Here's a positive attitude. Okay,
- 5:42Speaker 8: two things have happened that's positive.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Here.
- 5:45Speaker 8: Number one, you've rided yourself of someone who is obviously
- 5:49Speaker 8: going to be, if not already been, toxic in your life.
- 5:53Speaker 8: Caused you many restless nights, a lot of uncomfortable feelings
- 5:58Speaker 8: of uneasiness, not sure insecurity. You've been going through it
- 6:02Speaker 8: with this person, whoever they are. Number One, that person
- 6:05Speaker 8: has been released from your life. Number two. It allows
- 6:09Speaker 8: you now to have the someone who will treat you
- 6:13Speaker 8: just the way you want to be treated. That's the
- 6:16Speaker 8: positive outlook, that's the optimistic way. That's when you're a
- 6:20Speaker 8: positive person. You see the positive in things that happen
- 6:23Speaker 8: to you instead of burying yourself under the what's wrong
- 6:27Speaker 8: with it? A old woe is me now? Concept? See
- 6:30Speaker 8: a positive attitude. When they came in there and they
- 6:33Speaker 8: fired you and let you go, could this not have
- 6:37Speaker 8: been just the opening you needed to finally start on
- 6:41Speaker 8: a new career path that you've been talking about doing anyway?
- 6:45Speaker 8: Could it possibly be a brand new chance for you
- 6:48Speaker 8: to get the dream job or dream career of your choice.
- 6:52Speaker 8: Could it not possibly be the perfect opportunity now for
- 6:57Speaker 8: you to finally finally do something about that gift, about
- 7:02Speaker 8: that talent that God gave you, that thing that you
- 7:05Speaker 8: love to do. Could it not be the perfect time
- 7:08Speaker 8: for you to pursue that. But if you don't have
- 7:10Speaker 8: a positive attitude, then you lay there. Oh they finish,
- 7:14Speaker 8: come get in my house. Oh what I'm gonna do now?
- 7:17Speaker 9: Oh?
- 7:18Speaker 8: This unemployment ain't enough. Oh Lord, when this unemployment run out,
- 7:22Speaker 8: what am I gonna do?
- 7:23Speaker 2: Then?
- 7:23Speaker 3: I won't have nothing? And you old woe is me
- 7:27Speaker 3: until you become old woe is me.
- 7:30Speaker 8: But if you take it from the positive approach, some
- 7:33Speaker 8: amazing things can happen in your life. I will tell
- 7:36Speaker 8: you on a personal note, that's some of the most
- 7:40Speaker 8: some of the best changes, some of the biggest moments
- 7:43Speaker 8: in my life came after a loss. So I don't
- 7:47Speaker 8: want to go down the list, but boy, I could
- 7:48Speaker 8: tell you. Let me tell you something. When they didn't
- 7:50Speaker 8: want me on the radio anymore in La, well, they
- 7:54Speaker 8: didn't when they were it was sick of the way
- 7:56Speaker 8: I did radio out there, and they wanted me gone.
- 8:00Speaker 8: And on May twenty thirty, two thousand and five, when
- 8:04Speaker 8: my did when when my deal was done with the
- 8:10Speaker 8: beat out in La. Okay, look what happened though. Yeah,
- 8:15Speaker 8: I was gone in May. But in September nineteenth I
- 8:18Speaker 8: started to Steve Harvey Radio Network with.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Four cities you see. But I didn't go old woe
- 8:25Speaker 3: was me?
- 8:26Speaker 8: I said, Oh, okay, God must have something else from
- 8:30Speaker 8: it then, because if he didn't remove me from this,
- 8:32Speaker 8: that must be something else. Same thing can happen when
- 8:35Speaker 8: you lose and you break up in a relationship, same
- 8:38Speaker 8: thing can happen to you. You never know the one
- 8:41Speaker 8: God God for you. Now Here you go, Here you
- 8:43Speaker 8: go again. Now you get put into a situation where
- 8:46Speaker 8: somebody treat you just the way you want to be treated,
- 8:49Speaker 8: provide you the whole lot of aspects of your life
- 8:51Speaker 8: you knew nothing about prior to that. But you gotta
- 8:54Speaker 8: stay positive. If you stay positive, that positive attitude, that
- 8:58Speaker 8: optimistic outlawk that that always thinking God got me, no
- 9:04Speaker 8: matter what happened to me, some amazing things that's gonna
- 9:07Speaker 8: will happen in your life.
- 9:09Speaker 3: It's a fact. I don't know how it works that way.
- 9:12Speaker 3: I just know that's what it is. Positive attitude is everything, y'all.
- 9:16Speaker 8: So get off the old woe is Me negativity train
- 9:19Speaker 8: because it ain't gonna take you nowhere but down and
- 9:21Speaker 8: get get your outlook up. If you change your attitude,
- 9:24Speaker 8: you change your altitude. Altitude is determined by your attitude.
- 9:30Speaker 8: How high you go, how big you become, how far
- 9:33Speaker 8: you go. It all depends on how you think. It
- 9:36Speaker 8: all depends on what type of attitude you got.
- 9:39Speaker 3: Ain't No, ain't no, very very.
- 9:41Speaker 8: Successful, super negative people. It just doesn't coincide that way.
- 9:46Speaker 8: If you see that something that happened to them along
- 9:48Speaker 8: the way, and don't worry. You ain't gotta worry about
- 9:50Speaker 8: it because you ain't gonna see him long because you
- 9:52Speaker 8: can't stay up there like that.
- 9:54Speaker 3: It's just too hard, all right. That's the conversation you're listening.
- 10:00Speaker 7: Show.
- 10:03Speaker 8: Ladies and gentlemen, Welcome to the ride. This is the
- 10:05Speaker 8: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Okay, this is how we're gonna
- 10:07Speaker 8: do it today. I thought I would remind everybody that
- 10:10Speaker 8: if you woke up today, that's a gift.
- 10:13Speaker 3: They call it the present. See you living in the present.
- 10:16Speaker 8: When you live in the present, that's the reason they
- 10:18Speaker 8: call it the president is because it's a gift. God
- 10:21Speaker 8: gave you a gift. Man, he woke up this morning.
- 10:24Speaker 8: Y'all be glad about that. I don't care what happened today.
- 10:27Speaker 8: As long as I'm up for it. I'm fine with it.
- 10:29Speaker 8: Because some people didn't wake up today, y'allt be grateful.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Man.
- 10:32Speaker 8: That's how you start today. If you start your day
- 10:35Speaker 8: with gratitude, it affect your attitude. It affects your attitude,
- 10:38Speaker 8: It would determine your altitude. It's all tied together. Baby,

- 12:34Speaker 2: I didn't do that.
- 12:35Speaker 3: I told you.
- 12:35Speaker 8: I was watching this interview one time and they had
- 12:37Speaker 8: all these old actors sitting around, and Robert De Niro
- 12:41Speaker 8: and Al Pacino and Tom Hanks was in the room,
- 12:44Speaker 8: and the man said, if you could tell your younger
- 12:46Speaker 8: self one thing, what would you tell him? You know
- 12:48Speaker 8: what Tom Hanks said that really affected me. He said,
- 12:51Speaker 8: if I could have just told myself back then, this
- 12:54Speaker 8: too shall pass.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:56Speaker 8: Man, that was That was one of the most profound
- 12:59Speaker 8: interviews I've heard, because that that that really was the effect, man,
- 13:03Speaker 8: because look, man, I don't care what you're going through.
- 13:07Speaker 8: I don't care what they're saying about you. I don't
- 13:10Speaker 8: care what's being done to you. I don't care what
- 13:12Speaker 8: you're going through. It's gonna pass. What people do is
- 13:16Speaker 8: they give up before it passes, and they lay in
- 13:20Speaker 8: it and wallowing it.
- 13:23Speaker 3: When if you get up and keep walking, it's gonna pass.
- 13:27Speaker 8: But if you stop and lay in it, it don't
- 13:29Speaker 8: get to pass because now you don'et decide to wallow
- 13:31Speaker 8: in it.
- 13:31Speaker 3: I don't wallow in nothing.

- 13:48Speaker 15: It's time now, ladies and gentlemen, for Reverend Motown and
- 13:51Speaker 15: Deacon Deaf Jam and church complaints on this Monday.
- 13:55Speaker 3: Mmm.
- 13:57Speaker 8: We gavel to day in this most bostious way. We
- 14:07Speaker 8: hear at the jackpot joint of Jerusalem. Yeah, we gavel
- 14:15Speaker 8: in a tumultualus rockarias rock arias cospentatious way, realizing that, uh,
- 14:29Speaker 8: the members of this church are some of the most ungrateful,
- 14:35Speaker 8: complaining partituates that I've ever come across. And now we're
- 14:41Speaker 8: going to journey into the land of course church complaints,
- 14:48Speaker 8: death jail, Deacon death jail.
- 14:50Speaker 18: Go ahead now, all right, pafter I, well, this is uh,
- 14:56Speaker 18: however you want to have this p Diddy wants to
- 14:59Speaker 18: take the choir shopping and buy them some things. And
- 15:02Speaker 18: he also wants to saying he wants to take you
- 15:05Speaker 18: shopping and get you some new suits.
- 15:07Speaker 3: But I stole him.
- 15:08Speaker 18: I'd have to talk to you about this hip ass
- 15:10Speaker 18: that if you want to oh shopping what ohac fifty.
- 15:18Speaker 8: In the words of Deacon fifty sick, take that, Take that,
- 15:26Speaker 8: Take that with you. You not gonna buy your way
- 15:32Speaker 8: up in here. Puffect can't take nobody shopping right right,
- 15:39Speaker 8: He's the pain. So no, we're not gonna allow that
- 15:44Speaker 8: this time. Deacon, go ahead with your next completetion. All right, Well,
- 15:47Speaker 8: it just seems like they all are in an uproar
- 15:49Speaker 8: right now.
- 15:51Speaker 18: T I came by a quirer here soon last week
- 15:53Speaker 18: and said somebody had him on a fly up for
- 15:57Speaker 18: three o'clock service. He said, I ain't no three o'clock
- 16:00Speaker 18: saver and happening, no offering, no preaching, no saving soul,
- 16:05Speaker 18: no baptizing, not nothing. Tell a pastor talk to him
- 16:09Speaker 18: about this fly. So you're gonna have to talk to TI.
- 16:13Speaker 8: Well, t I don't know, but I've kind of gotten
- 16:17Speaker 8: behind some of the things t I has done.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Left. I'm coming out with a new toy this Christmas.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Al really uh.
- 16:24Speaker 8: It's called a TI Choke doll, no cat. It's a
- 16:28Speaker 8: doll that you buy and anytime your children get on
- 16:32Speaker 8: your nerves, you could just choke the child instead of
- 16:37Speaker 8: taking it out on your own baby. You can choke
- 16:39Speaker 8: your child with the baby. That's what we're doing up
- 16:42Speaker 8: in here and the baby. It's a new toy. It's
- 16:44Speaker 8: called choke a child. Okay, choke a child. Listen, see
- 16:48Speaker 8: see choke child and that way they slow down on
- 16:51Speaker 8: child abuse. Well, you can't do that to your child,
- 16:54Speaker 8: because now you got you got a doll. You can
- 16:56Speaker 8: choke your child. It's called choke a child.
- 16:58Speaker 3: Choke a cat.
- 17:06Speaker 19: Child.
- 17:08Speaker 3: We're coming out with cam next year. That's choke a man.
- 17:10Speaker 3: You can choke a man.
- 17:13Speaker 8: All you ladies out there, got me in on your there.
- 17:15Speaker 8: You can choke a man. And then we're coming out
- 17:18Speaker 8: with women who gave girlfriends that have got on your name.
- 17:21Speaker 8: We're coming out with a new dog called c h
- 17:24Speaker 8: a a ah no no, No, that's c a h
- 17:29Speaker 8: is what I'm trying to say. Okay, Yeah, and that's
- 17:33Speaker 8: choke a helper, that's what that right there. Okay, In
- 17:36Speaker 8: case you have something more that's on your nerves.
- 17:39Speaker 7: That's sins.
- 17:40Speaker 18: The Carlin probably haven't done that. You didn't tell for help.
- 17:46Speaker 18: Now you ain't got a minute, but you didn't care
- 17:48Speaker 18: the help of.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Pastor. We need you to talk to little Darius now.
- 17:53Speaker 18: The Sunday school teacher asked him if he was afraid
- 17:56Speaker 18: of Satan. He told her she needed to be afraid of, say,
- 18:00Speaker 18: because she talked plenty of sugar honey iced tea every
- 18:03Speaker 18: Sunday about him.
- 18:04Speaker 3: You're gonna have to talk to this boy. He didn't.
- 18:06Speaker 18: He's out of control this little area. Eight year Well,
- 18:09Speaker 18: if you want to know the truth, little Darius is
- 18:12Speaker 18: all correct. Well, he is a real factor out there.
- 18:20Speaker 18: But we're not going to get into that right now,
- 18:23Speaker 18: because I don't really understand where you're going with this joke.
- 18:25Speaker 3: I don't know different route. My mind is tangling a
- 18:31Speaker 3: little bit now.
- 18:32Speaker 8: I can't quite get it because I'm out the country
- 18:34Speaker 8: now in them, I can't I can't wrap my mind
- 18:37Speaker 8: around it.
- 18:38Speaker 3: All right, Well, we'll move on. Don't worry about the pack.
- 18:41Speaker 18: We do need you to talk to uh, the Cowboy
- 18:44Speaker 18: fans here at the church.
- 18:46Speaker 7: They have all.

- 18:48Speaker 18: Blue Hotel in Vegas for the super Bowl, as if
- 18:51Speaker 18: they already think they going.
- 18:53Speaker 8: So you need you need to have a discussion with
- 18:55Speaker 8: these people, y'all need y'all need to quit jumping y'all. Y'all,
- 18:58Speaker 8: y'all cowboy friend, you jumping good, y'all no good and

- 19:02Speaker 3: Well what what was that?
- 19:05Speaker 7: Pat?
- 19:06Speaker 8: Y'all no good and the well to hell? But you
- 19:10Speaker 8: ain't got no business buying no rooms out of the Vegas.
- 19:15Speaker 8: If you think the Cowboys are going to the super Bowl,
- 19:18Speaker 8: how the cowboy gonna get pair of the Eagle?
- 19:23Speaker 18: You know lost now pastor San Francisco back fan Francisco
- 19:27Speaker 18: beat them.
- 19:29Speaker 8: Well, you know, the Georgia Bulldogs lost to Alabama the
- 19:32Speaker 8: other day, but when.
- 19:33Speaker 3: They had won twenty nine in the row, they're still strong. Now, yeah,
- 19:38Speaker 3: you can lose and be strong.
- 19:40Speaker 8: So I had talk way over here that the Cleveland

- 19:53Speaker 3: be So when we see you come back to for that.

- 20:25Speaker 18: him in Canine School and told him once he become obedient,
- 20:29Speaker 18: then he can go back to regular school. Now that
- 20:31Speaker 18: they got a problem because they're tying the boy. See
- 20:33Speaker 18: rabbits and birds, he chasing them. You're gonna have to talk.
- 20:35Speaker 3: They got to get They got to put that boy
- 20:37Speaker 3: back in regulars too.
- 20:38Speaker 8: No, I'm all right with what they're doing. Wambosa. I

- 20:45Speaker 16: Nothing but the dog in me coming up next.
- 20:50Speaker 5: To sell that.
- 20:53Speaker 16: You're listening morning show coming up at the top of
- 20:58Speaker 16: the hour.
- 20:58Speaker 15: In the Entertainment News, Jesse Smalllllett's appeal was denied and
- 21:02Speaker 15: he is expected to serve one hundred and fifty.
- 21:05Speaker 16: Days in prison.
- 21:07Speaker 15: Derek Chauvin, Yeah, Derek Chauvin's attacker said he planned to
- 21:12Speaker 15: He planned the attack on Black Friday because it was
- 21:14Speaker 15: symbolic to him.
- 21:16Speaker 16: And Beyonce is the queen of the box office right now.
- 21:20Speaker 15: She earned twenty one million dollars on her opening weekend
- 21:23Speaker 15: of Roissants.
- 21:24Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 21:24Speaker 15: Yeah, that's all coming up at the top of the hour,
- 21:28Speaker 15: but right now it is time to ask the clo.
- 21:32Speaker 16: This is from Tanya and Pelham.
- 21:34Speaker 15: Tanya writes, my husband and I moved into a neighborhood
- 21:37Speaker 15: with a lot of single mothers, and I'm friendly with
- 21:40Speaker 15: two of them. All they do is bash men and
- 21:43Speaker 15: complain about wanting a man. My husband says, they're miserable
- 21:46Speaker 15: and will make me miserable.
- 21:48Speaker 16: Is this true?
- 21:50Speaker 8: Well, birds of a feather flock together. Association brings on participation.
- 21:56Speaker 8: If everybody you around.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Negative, you're going to be negative. I mean, does no
- 22:00Speaker 3: way around that.
- 22:02Speaker 7: You know.
- 22:02Speaker 3: You know what somebody taught me one time.
- 22:04Speaker 8: Somebody said, describe your five closest friends are the people
- 22:08Speaker 8: you associate with the most. Now, when you get through
- 22:11Speaker 8: describing those five people, you've just described yourself. Wow, Because
- 22:18Speaker 8: you oftentimes choose to be around people like you because
- 22:23Speaker 8: you got to like them. And so if you hang
- 22:26Speaker 8: around these women who are always negative. What's gonna bleed
- 22:30Speaker 8: over if they're talking about negative stuff and you want
- 22:32Speaker 8: to join in the conversation. What you think your conversation
- 22:34Speaker 8: got to be? Your husband is the one hundred percent correct?
- 22:40Speaker 8: You know, bitter people don't make positive people.
- 22:45Speaker 3: There's some old, little bitty people, little bitter people.
- 22:48Speaker 16: Wow, So she's gonna be friendless to this in your neighborhood.
- 22:52Speaker 8: Huh, well, you know, unless you want to join up
- 22:56Speaker 8: with the group. Yeah, yeah, right, everybody in that neighbor
- 23:00Speaker 8: hood ain't that way. You got why you gotta hang
- 23:02Speaker 8: out with that?
- 23:03Speaker 3: Hey?
- 23:04Speaker 7: Why?
- 23:04Speaker 8: I don't understand that. I ain't never lived on the
- 23:06Speaker 8: street where I had to be friends with people. Stay
- 23:08Speaker 8: next though, I ain't never been on.
- 23:09Speaker 3: That street.
- 23:12Speaker 16: Like a good neighbor.
- 23:14Speaker 3: All right, Moving on to a commercial Shirley that I moving.
- 23:17Speaker 16: On to DeShawn and Cyprus.
- 23:20Speaker 15: Yesterday morning, Deshaun says, my wife tiptoed out of our
- 23:25Speaker 15: room to take a call. She said it was a
- 23:27Speaker 15: friend that's going through it with her husband. I asked
- 23:30Speaker 15: for details, and she said she promised not to tell.
- 23:34Speaker 15: I'm not just anybody, I'm her husband. Is my wife lying?
- 23:39Speaker 3: Damn? Damn?
- 23:41Speaker 8: She tipped out the room take a call, she said
- 23:43Speaker 8: us for a girlfriend is going through something with her hood,
- 23:46Speaker 8: and now you asked her what it was, and she
- 23:48Speaker 8: said she promised not to tell. Now you're talking about
- 23:51Speaker 8: her husband dog? Just what what's the matter? Don't she
- 23:54Speaker 8: tipped out the room to talk to a girlfriend. It's
- 23:56Speaker 8: going through something?
- 23:57Speaker 3: Is she lying?
- 23:58Speaker 15: If she is?
- 23:58Speaker 3: What you want me to tell?
- 24:00Speaker 7: What?
- 24:00Speaker 5: Well?
- 24:00Speaker 16: If she is, what would you tell him?
- 24:02Speaker 3: But I see what's see?
- 24:05Speaker 8: Once again, I can't be wishy washing now because if
- 24:09Speaker 8: the man tip off.
- 24:10Speaker 2: The rule.
- 24:14Speaker 3: We say, boom, dear boom. I mean, we was out
- 24:16Speaker 3: there trying to help a friend.
- 24:18Speaker 8: He ain't want you to hit he promises friend, he
- 24:19Speaker 8: wouldn't tell I had I'm going with that, so I
- 24:23Speaker 8: got to go with what the lady said too, you know?
- 24:26Speaker 18: All right?
- 24:26Speaker 7: Then?
- 24:27Speaker 8: Plus I have told y'all we sometimes the lie is necessary.
- 24:35Speaker 15: Sometimes exactly ninety nine point nine whenever you need it,
- 24:44Speaker 15: all right.
- 24:45Speaker 16: See this one's from Marie in Freeport.
- 24:47Speaker 15: Marie says, one of my husband's coworkers DMed me to
- 24:50Speaker 15: tell me that my husband has made sexual advances toward her.
- 24:54Speaker 16: She wants to put my husband on a three way
- 24:56Speaker 16: call and confront him. Is this necessary? Or should I
- 25:00Speaker 16: talk to him myself? Will he be truthful?
- 25:03Speaker 7: Well?
- 25:05Speaker 8: No, no, I don't see why he would be truthful.
- 25:12Speaker 8: This ain't the time to be truthful. If ever, that
- 25:15Speaker 8: was a time for a lie, this one is it?
- 25:19Speaker 8: Is he gonna be truthful?
- 25:22Speaker 20: I'm inclined to agree with you, sir, but I think
- 25:25Speaker 20: that the I think that the wife has to understand
- 25:28Speaker 20: what is the motive of this woman calling you.
- 25:33Speaker 8: See, you gotta you gotta understand the motive because that
- 25:38Speaker 8: sounds really messy to me. If you're at work and
- 25:40Speaker 8: you have a man make an advance on you and
- 25:43Speaker 8: you don't want advance, all you gotta do is rebuff
- 25:46Speaker 8: the advance.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Oh no, thank you, you're married. I don't date men
- 25:51Speaker 3: like that. Please, thank you, but no, thank you. Now
- 25:54Speaker 3: I'm gonna call his wife and tell her that's a lie.
- 25:58Speaker 16: Yes, I mean that's messy. His wife to put you
- 26:03Speaker 16: on to push on a look.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Yeah you know, and you didn't you put them on
- 26:08Speaker 3: the three way? And now what yeah? I mean, what right?
- 26:14Speaker 3: That's messy.
- 26:17Speaker 8: Less unless this went a little bit further than she's saying,
- 26:21Speaker 8: and now she's trying to get back Caddy.
- 26:25Speaker 16: For advances survey said.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Else.
- 26:30Speaker 15: All right, all right, last one, Steve. This one's from
- 26:33Speaker 15: Joelle and Newark. Joelle says, I've been married for eleven years.
- 26:37Speaker 15: I had an affair after I had my twins, and
- 26:40Speaker 15: my husband found out on social media. I was shocked
- 26:43Speaker 15: when my husband asked me for a DNA test. One
- 26:46Speaker 15: of our twins looks exactly like him, So why would
- 26:50Speaker 15: he question this?
- 26:51Speaker 3: What wanted a twin?
- 26:55Speaker 7: What about that.
- 26:59Speaker 3: One of the twins look just like him?
- 27:02Speaker 7: Look like twins?
- 27:04Speaker 3: Why would he question twins? But hold up, though, so
- 27:09Speaker 3: let me get this right. He found out that she
- 27:13Speaker 3: had an affair on social.
- 27:14Speaker 16: Media and social media?
- 27:16Speaker 3: Yes, so now he wanted a DNA test?
- 27:20Speaker 15: Yeah, yeah, yeah, And she wants to know why would
- 27:24Speaker 15: he be questioning this since one of the twins looks
- 27:27Speaker 15: exactly like him.
- 27:28Speaker 8: Excuse me, excuse me here, See that's such a male thing. Now,
- 27:38Speaker 8: how we to you busting me on social media?
- 27:42Speaker 7: Now?
- 27:42Speaker 3: What you want a DNA test for? So my question
- 27:48Speaker 3: would be to hers, why are you afraid to have one?
- 27:53Speaker 16: Come on, Maury Povich, come.
- 27:55Speaker 3: On, so you just give me that brown envelope, and
- 27:59Speaker 3: if you had.
- 28:01Speaker 16: You're the father of one of Oh wow, yeah, yeah,
- 28:07Speaker 16: that's crazy. What is the other twins?
- 28:10Speaker 3: I told you all it was possible.
- 28:11Speaker 15: I got a long time run Jet. Do you remember,
- 28:16Speaker 15: I think it was Jet that time when there was
- 28:18Speaker 15: a set of twins.
- 28:19Speaker 16: One was light, one was dark, but they were they
- 28:25Speaker 16: were twins. Man, what what clo.
- 28:36Speaker 3: I don't like stuff like this? Would you say? I
- 28:42Speaker 3: can't I can't help these.
- 28:43Speaker 16: People of the second wonder why you're so quiet?
- 28:51Speaker 3: I can't help these people.
- 28:52Speaker 16: Oh, this is a mess.
- 28:54Speaker 3: Right here is the d n A test.
- 28:55Speaker 8: You need to take d n A test. You mess
- 28:57Speaker 8: around on your man? He found out on social media.
- 29:00Speaker 8: I'm giving a DNA test.
- 29:01Speaker 3: That's all.
- 29:02Speaker 8: That's all I do, is donky. You look like all
- 29:04Speaker 8: babies look like somebody at one time?
- 29:06Speaker 16: Yeah, all right, all right, thank you?
- 29:10Speaker 3: Colo.

- 33:00Speaker 15: convicted of killing George Floyd, was stabbed twenty two times
- 33:04Speaker 15: in prison. John Turcac urs Cac, federal inmate, was charged

- 33:18Speaker 3: Yeah, well, okay, improvised knife. Well, they had to make it, okay,
- 33:26Speaker 3: I've never heard it quite like that.
- 33:30Speaker 5: Well.
- 33:31Speaker 15: Urs Cac told authorities that he chose to attack Chauvin

- 34:16Speaker 15: Good Yeah, yeah, finally, congratulations. We have to say this

- 34:31Speaker 15: box office and get this a wopping twenty one million dollars.
- 34:36Speaker 15: The concert film was written, produced, and directed by Beyonce
- 34:40Speaker 15: and ranks as one of the highest debuts for a
- 34:42Speaker 15: concert film. Is second only to Taylor Swift's debut weekend
- 34:46Speaker 15: for her The Aras Tour movie that grows close to
- 34:49Speaker 15: ninety three million opening weekend.
- 34:51Speaker 16: Beyonce and Taylor Swift definitely support each other.
- 34:55Speaker 15: We see that all the time with Beyonce attending Taylor
- 34:57Speaker 15: Swift's movie premiere in Los Angele when it opened earlier
- 35:01Speaker 15: this year, and then Taylor Swift showed up in London
- 35:04Speaker 15: for Beyonce's premiere. So congratulations Beyonce. Yeah, genius, Yeah, I remember.
- 35:10Speaker 15: I think it was the MTV Awards. I think when
- 35:15Speaker 15: Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift. It was Beyonce that came on
- 35:19Speaker 15: stage and, for lack of a better term, rescue Taylor
- 35:24Speaker 15: and said that she deserves to have her moment.
- 35:27Speaker 16: She wasn't pleasing watch it. Yeah, she really did.
- 35:30Speaker 15: Even though Kanye was singing Beyonce's praises at the time.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Beyonce was like, Nah, I'm not saying that launched Taylor Swift.
- 35:37Speaker 3: I'm not saying that at all.
- 35:38Speaker 16: But Royal boyle By Yeah, yeah, it put her out
- 35:42Speaker 16: there for sure.
- 35:43Speaker 3: That's put a glaring light on that girl.
- 35:46Speaker 7: It did.
- 35:46Speaker 3: He took that moment from her, Yeah, he took that
- 35:49Speaker 3: moment from her. But all right.
- 35:51Speaker 15: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, Congressman George
- 35:54Speaker 15: Santos is out. Congress expelled him for his alleged lies
- 36:00Speaker 15: and corruption.
- 36:01Speaker 16: We'll talk about it right after this.
- 36:03Speaker 17: You're listening Hardy Morning Show.
- 36:06Speaker 15: The US House of Representatives has expelled New York Republican
- 36:10Speaker 15: Congressman George Santos after serving less than a year in office.
- 36:15Speaker 15: The move to expel Santos came after a damning ethics
- 36:18Speaker 15: report and dozens of criminal charges. His short tenure was
- 36:22Speaker 15: marked by multiple lives about his past, as well as
- 36:25Speaker 15: allegations of fraud, which was all revealed, which were all
- 36:29Speaker 15: revealed after he was elected. The House needed a two
- 36:32Speaker 15: thirds majority to remove Santos, and they got that and more.
- 36:36Speaker 15: The final tally was three eleven to one fourteen, which
- 36:40Speaker 15: included one hundred and five Republicans voting for expulsion. The
- 36:44Speaker 15: New York Republican is only the sixth lawmaker in history
- 36:47Speaker 15: to be removed from the lower Chamber of Congress.
- 36:51Speaker 16: And the first sent two thousand and two.
- 36:54Speaker 15: As he left the Capitol and now listen to what
- 36:56Speaker 15: he said as he was leaving after he was expelled,
- 36:58Speaker 15: he stormed passed reporters saying, quote, to hell with this place.
- 37:03Speaker 15: As unofficially already no longer a member of Congress, I
- 37:06Speaker 15: no longer have to answer a single question from you guys.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Them right, I don't even have to answer a single
- 37:17Speaker 3: question from you.
- 37:18Speaker 16: Guy, not exactly.
- 37:20Speaker 3: I ain't got no job. I ain't got.
- 37:24Speaker 16: But he was so arrogant up until the end. He
- 37:27Speaker 16: really didn't think he was gonna.
- 37:29Speaker 3: Leaves much.
- 37:32Speaker 15: Campaign funds and getting Bolt talks and books.
- 37:36Speaker 3: Yeah, lied on your mama things.
- 37:39Speaker 1: No, you cannot have your job, sir.
- 37:41Speaker 3: My mama was in the building. I'm not living.
- 37:43Speaker 10: Just lying on your mama.
- 37:49Speaker 16: Will probably pick him as his running mate. Don't be surprised.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Yeah, this is why you have to get out and both.
- 37:58Speaker 15: Yeah, absolutely, this is why, because that put anybody in
- 38:02Speaker 15: there and then both. I mean, he lied and lied
- 38:06Speaker 15: on topic.
- 38:06Speaker 7: He just.
- 38:09Speaker 3: But that ain't the line Uncle Steve be talking about.
- 38:11Speaker 3: Hit this kind of line. That's a different kind of line.
- 38:14Speaker 16: The whole different.
- 38:15Speaker 3: You don't just lie, you got a lot.
- 38:17Speaker 8: Your line has had purpose of saving, changing or or
- 38:22Speaker 8: you know, preserving, saving changing or preserving those are the.

- 54:07Speaker 3: Buckle up, hold on tight. We got a pool you here.
- 54:09Speaker 3: It is Strawberry leta thank you.
- 54:11Speaker 7: Ne for you.
- 54:12Speaker 15: Subject is his mama that important? Dear Stephen Shirley, my
- 54:17Speaker 15: boyfriend and I have been engaged for three years. When
- 54:21Speaker 15: we set our wedding date, his mother asked us to
- 54:23Speaker 15: move it back because she was getting her kitchen renovated
- 54:26Speaker 15: and it wouldn't be done by our wedding date, so
- 54:29Speaker 15: her family could not stay with her. I asked if
- 54:32Speaker 15: her family could get hotel rooms, and she got hot
- 54:34Speaker 15: with me and said that I can't expect people to
- 54:37Speaker 15: spend money to come to my wedding and pay for
- 54:40Speaker 15: hotel rooms. I was so upset, and so was my boyfriend.
- 54:44Speaker 15: But we changed the date of our wedding. We moved
- 54:47Speaker 15: it to November of last year. His mother's house was done,
- 54:51Speaker 15: but then she had four trees cut down in her backyard.
- 54:55Speaker 15: She was outside being a busybody one day and she
- 54:58Speaker 15: tripped over a branch and shattered her knee. This was
- 55:02Speaker 15: late August of twenty twenty two, and she told my
- 55:05Speaker 15: boyfriend and I that she would not be healed by
- 55:09Speaker 15: our November wedding date, and she insisted that we reschedule
- 55:13Speaker 15: it yet again. I ran to my mom, very upset
- 55:16Speaker 15: and crying. So my mom went by my boyfriend's mom's
- 55:19Speaker 15: house to see if she was trying to sabotage our wedding.
- 55:22Speaker 15: After the visit, my mom was singing this woman's praises
- 55:26Speaker 15: and she told me that I needed to respect my
- 55:29Speaker 15: future mother in law from here on out and check
- 55:31Speaker 15: in with her before we set another wedding date. I
- 55:35Speaker 15: asked her why my boyfriend's mom was that important, and
- 55:38Speaker 15: she told me that his mother plans to pay for
- 55:41Speaker 15: our entire.
- 55:42Speaker 16: Wedding and our honeymoon.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 55:46Speaker 1: I do not give a darn what she pays for.
- 55:49Speaker 3: I don't want damn.
- 55:51Speaker 16: I don't want her to hold this over our heads.
- 55:54Speaker 15: My boyfriend did not know about his mom's plans to
- 55:57Speaker 15: put the bill.
- 55:59Speaker 16: Is she being nice or controlling? Will we be wrong
- 56:02Speaker 16: to Elope?
- 56:03Speaker 15: Listen, this is your wedding, okay, and ultimately your marriage
- 56:08Speaker 15: and all of that, and you have every right to
- 56:10Speaker 15: do it how you want to do it.
- 56:13Speaker 16: Okay.
- 56:14Speaker 15: Now, will feelings be heard and all of that if
- 56:16Speaker 15: you Elope, absolutely they will.
- 56:19Speaker 16: People love weddings. People will be.
- 56:21Speaker 15: Mad if they don't get to partake in the festivities
- 56:24Speaker 15: and all of that, but there's nothing they can do
- 56:26Speaker 15: about it once you guys are married, if you decide
- 56:28Speaker 15: to elope, So there's that, But you're really not doing
- 56:32Speaker 15: a wedding for people anyway. So his mother wants to
- 56:37Speaker 15: be there, and yes, she wants to be in control
- 56:39Speaker 15: of something since she's paying for the whole thing. Now,
- 56:42Speaker 15: you guys say you didn't know that, but that answers
- 56:45Speaker 15: the question of why she thinks she can have so
- 56:48Speaker 15: much input in asking you guys to change the data
- 56:50Speaker 15: and all of that. You asked if she's being nice
- 56:53Speaker 15: or if she's being controlling, and the answer is probably
- 56:56Speaker 15: a little bit of both. I mean, you know, she
- 56:58Speaker 15: thinks she's paying for it is actually generous of It's
- 57:02Speaker 15: definitely generous of her.
- 57:03Speaker 16: But the truth of the matter is it's still your
- 57:06Speaker 16: day and your way.
- 57:07Speaker 15: So if you and your fiance can afford it all
- 57:10Speaker 15: and you don't need his mom's help, and you don't
- 57:13Speaker 15: want his mom's help, you've been engaged for three years,
- 57:16Speaker 15: you want to get it done, then pay for the
- 57:18Speaker 15: wedding yourselves and have the wedding you.
- 57:20Speaker 16: Want when you want it. But just know that feelings
- 57:23Speaker 16: will be hurt, and mostly it'll be both your moms.
- 57:26Speaker 1: Steve, Uh, this is.
- 57:28Speaker 8: A weird letter because I thought it was gonna be
- 57:29Speaker 8: about something else. What So I kind of prejudged the
- 57:32Speaker 8: letter because I was already not gonna like the girl
- 57:35Speaker 8: is your mama?
- 57:35Speaker 3: That important? Yes she is?
- 57:37Speaker 8: Oh, And that was gonna be the end of it,
- 57:38Speaker 8: And I didn't like after that, But after hearing the letter,
- 57:41Speaker 8: it took a good So here's a deal with this letter.
- 57:44Speaker 8: The lady who writes the letter has a valid point,
- 57:49Speaker 8: but it's also a lot of other stuff in here too.
- 57:53Speaker 8: Now you've been engaged for three years, y'all set your
- 57:56Speaker 8: wedding date. Then his mama asked you to move to
- 57:59Speaker 8: date back because she was getting her kitchen renovated and
- 58:03Speaker 8: it wouldn't be done by the wedding date, and now
- 58:07Speaker 8: so her family couldn't stay with her. So then the
- 58:11Speaker 8: girl went in that and asked the mama, well, why
- 58:13Speaker 8: don't your family just get some hotel rooms?
- 58:16Speaker 3: And she got hot with the girl and said, ain't nobody.
- 58:19Speaker 8: You can't expect nobody come your wedding and spend money
- 58:23Speaker 8: on the hotel rooms too. Right then the girl got upset,
- 58:29Speaker 8: and the boyfriend got upset too. But y'all changed the
- 58:34Speaker 8: date of your wedding. Now, understand something. You got to understand.
- 58:39Speaker 8: Your boyfriend's family. These regular folks now, and they calculates
- 58:45Speaker 8: every dollar. See, you ain't even passed out no invitation
- 58:50Speaker 8: to all them people. They just no little ray Ray
- 58:55Speaker 8: getting married and they all got to come. So now
- 59:00Speaker 8: all these people gonna come in that ain't got no
- 59:03Speaker 8: business coming they driving in. Ain't nobody finished flying they
- 59:06Speaker 8: do regular people. Let's let's just stop saying this here.
- 59:11Speaker 8: These people ain't got money for none of this here.
- 59:13Speaker 7: Uh huh.
- 59:14Speaker 8: These ain't no regular folks playing stuff different So these
- 59:18Speaker 8: are sub regular people.
- 59:21Speaker 7: They do.
- 59:22Speaker 8: They do group poverty. They make group poverty decisions. Yeah, see,
- 59:28Speaker 8: regular people, regular people playing stuff. You know, budget their
- 59:33Speaker 8: money for their vacations and stuff like that. I got
- 59:35Speaker 8: that when people get together as a group to vote
- 59:39Speaker 8: on po activities. This is when like we all come
- 59:43Speaker 8: in here. Who driving? How many can fit in that car? Okay,
- 59:47Speaker 8: who else can drive? Who got a car that can
- 59:49Speaker 8: make it? Who got a car that can come from
- 59:52Speaker 8: Detroit and get down here to Kentucky? Who got car?
- 59:55Speaker 8: And that that knocks out two three people right there.
- 59:58Speaker 8: So by the time they get the three people that's
- 1:00:00Speaker 8: got calls that can make it in them three cars
- 1:00:05Speaker 8: gonna be eighteen people.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: Gonna be eighteen people. Three in the front of the interback.
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: Get what you're finished do?
- 1:00:13Speaker 8: That's crowded, and one of the car gonna have a trailer,
- 1:00:16Speaker 8: and the other cargo had a ski rack on top
- 1:00:19Speaker 8: with luggage just bungee corded on top of it.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: Hang on, hang on, Steve, come back, I'll tell you wrestle.
- 1:00:25Speaker 15: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:00:28Speaker 15: twenty three minutes after the hour. Today's Strawberry letter. Subject
- 1:00:32Speaker 15: is his mama that important? We'll get back into that
- 1:00:35Speaker 15: right after this.
- 1:00:37Speaker 16: You're listening.
- 1:00:39Speaker 17: Morning show.
- 1:00:41Speaker 15: All right, Come on, Steve, let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:00:43Speaker 15: The subject is his mama that important?
- 1:00:47Speaker 8: Well, at first I wasn't gonna like the lady, but look,
- 1:00:49Speaker 8: the lady that's getting married kind of has a valid
- 1:00:51Speaker 8: point in this whole thing. She's been engaged three years.
- 1:00:54Speaker 8: They set a wedding date. The dude's mama asked her
- 1:00:57Speaker 8: to move to date back because she was renovating her
- 1:00:59Speaker 8: kitchen and won't be in time, won't be ready in
- 1:01:01Speaker 8: time for the wedding, and then but the people won't
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: have no where. The state is coming in town, so
- 1:01:06Speaker 8: she asked him moving back. She got upset with her
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: and told her mama told the month to step. Mama
- 1:01:10Speaker 8: said that, I mean the mother in law potential mother
- 1:01:12Speaker 8: in law. Why don't you just have everybody stay in
- 1:01:14Speaker 8: the hotel, She said, ain't nobody got no money, come
- 1:01:16Speaker 8: down here see your little wedding, and stay in the
- 1:01:18Speaker 8: hotel too, Because this is like a poverty decision. We're
- 1:01:21Speaker 8: making a group poverty decision. So they don't find out
- 1:01:25Speaker 8: three people that can drive from Detroit all the way
- 1:01:27Speaker 8: down here to Kentucky, and they got to figure out
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: how many cars can make it. So it's gonna be
- 1:01:31Speaker 8: three cars coming, and it's gonna be eighteen people. Eighteen
- 1:01:34Speaker 8: people is coming in three cars.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: A long ass ride. It's gonna be a long grass
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: ride right here.
- 1:01:40Speaker 8: Three in the front, three in the back. You ain't
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: been in a car like that in a long time.
- 1:01:45Speaker 8: Had it's going to be leting my mom rest up?
- 1:01:47Speaker 8: So Junior, then to get in hard is to let
- 1:01:51Speaker 8: them mom rest up. And nobody somebody sitting on that hump,
- 1:01:54Speaker 8: So get on that hunt and come on all right,
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: So now then y'all move a date back. Okay, But
- 1:02:00Speaker 8: then y'all, she had four trees cut down in the backyard,
- 1:02:05Speaker 8: and then you say she went out there being a
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: busy body, tripped over the branch and shat at her knee. Now,
- 1:02:10Speaker 8: that was in August of twenty twenty two. She told
- 1:02:13Speaker 8: my boyfriend that she would not be healed by November. Damn,
- 1:02:18Speaker 8: So you fail in August. You already know you ain't
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: gonna be healed by November. Now, I'm just gonna tell
- 1:02:25Speaker 8: you this because I know this type of stuff, and
- 1:02:27Speaker 8: don't ask me how.
- 1:02:28Speaker 9: I know.
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: This is a fat person here that fail. Yes, this
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: is a fat person.
- 1:02:33Speaker 8: I'm just trying to tell you when you fall in
- 1:02:35Speaker 8: August and know your ass ain't gonna be healed by November.
- 1:02:38Speaker 8: You already no, you can't put this much weight on
- 1:02:42Speaker 8: that damn knee. You gonna shatter that knee again. This
- 1:02:46Speaker 8: is a fat person that failed in the backyard. I
- 1:02:49Speaker 8: don't care what the doctor told her. The doctor knows
- 1:02:51Speaker 8: she can't put this two eighty on top of the
- 1:02:53Speaker 8: knees now and be ready by November.
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: This knee is shattered, she bed. I'm telling you I know.
- 1:03:01Speaker 8: Fat people's stuff. I've been my eye family full of
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: fat people, so I know when stuff happened to her.
- 1:03:07Speaker 8: You getting August, September, October, November, that's damn there four
- 1:03:14Speaker 8: months of healing, she can't get ready about in because
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: she too heavy anyway, So you ran to your mama upset, crying,
- 1:03:22Speaker 8: and your mama went over to the boyfriend's house. Seat
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: she's trying to sabotage your sabotized your winding. After the visit,
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: your mama came back talking about girl. This woman right
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: here is everything because she found out that the mother
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: in law was planning on paying for the wedding then everything,
- 1:03:39Speaker 8: so she wanted to have her say so with it. Now,
- 1:03:41Speaker 8: that's a great gift because really, the father of the bride,
- 1:03:46Speaker 8: by tradition, is supposed to pay for the web but
- 1:03:49Speaker 8: the lady that wrote the letter may not have a
- 1:03:52Speaker 8: father in her life or ain't mentioned about her parents
- 1:03:54Speaker 8: paying for the weind it's supposed to be the father's responsibility.
- 1:03:57Speaker 8: The mother of the groom that says she pay for
- 1:04:00Speaker 8: this whole thing. And so you said, I don't give
- 1:04:03Speaker 8: a damn what she paid for. I don't want her
- 1:04:06Speaker 8: to hold this over our heads. My boyfriend did not
- 1:04:09Speaker 8: know about his mom planning to foot the bill, and
- 1:04:11Speaker 8: she being nicer controlling. Would we be wrong to elow, Yeah,
- 1:04:15Speaker 8: you would be wrong to elow. But I think this
- 1:04:17Speaker 8: is This is a little bit of ego in here.
- 1:04:20Speaker 8: You want to control. It is your day, and I
- 1:04:21Speaker 8: understand that it's your day and you have every right.
- 1:04:25Speaker 8: Surely said it best when you said, is she being
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: nicer controlling? Surely says she's being a little bit of both,
- 1:04:30Speaker 8: and she is. She's being very nice and controlling. But
- 1:04:34Speaker 8: if you just take your ego out of it for
- 1:04:36Speaker 8: a moment, little girl, you got a chance to get
- 1:04:38Speaker 8: the wedding of your dreams. Because obviously you ain't got
- 1:04:41Speaker 8: the money for the way.
- 1:04:42Speaker 7: In your dream.
- 1:04:44Speaker 17: She doesn't like her mother in law her.
- 1:04:46Speaker 8: No, she don't like her, but she fin the foot
- 1:04:49Speaker 8: the bill for this whole thing. You can get the
- 1:04:51Speaker 8: day of your dreams if you just take your ego
- 1:04:53Speaker 8: out of it for a moment. And then I'll take
- 1:04:55Speaker 8: the pressure off the boy and all this here, because
- 1:04:58Speaker 8: that's gonna be between you and his mama. That's gonna
- 1:05:00Speaker 8: create a riff and y'all starting y'all marriage off with
- 1:05:03Speaker 8: a lot of little bumps over this day.
- 1:05:05Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:05:05Speaker 8: I agree, it's your day and you should have every
- 1:05:08Speaker 8: right to pick a day, but you got to wait
- 1:05:10Speaker 8: on this big lady to heal now, because she ain't
- 1:05:13Speaker 8: gonna be putting no weight on his knee for November. Yeah,
- 1:05:17Speaker 8: because she gonna come down. She don't want to live
- 1:05:19Speaker 8: down there because she put she hit the boy that
- 1:05:21Speaker 8: dress with that sequence on it. You know that because
- 1:05:26Speaker 8: all mothers of the bride and groom they wear SeaQuest
- 1:05:31Speaker 8: at all pole wedd special occasion. Yeah, po ed, that's
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: poor people. That's poor people outfit, and it's a beautiful outfit.
- 1:05:40Speaker 8: I wore my first sequence jacket. I remember when I
- 1:05:42Speaker 8: first got my first Seaquenz jacket what it meant to me.
- 1:05:45Speaker 8: I thought, I want an old Jay's dog. You couldn't
- 1:05:47Speaker 8: tell me nothing.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: So I follow you.
- 1:05:50Speaker 8: I would take my ego out of it, don't Elope.
- 1:05:52Speaker 8: You just now you just want to make sure you're
- 1:05:54Speaker 8: controlling the situation. That's just Elope. But I think you'll
- 1:05:58Speaker 8: regret eloping because I think you will deny your mother
- 1:06:01Speaker 8: an opportunity to see her baby go down the aisle.
- 1:06:04Speaker 8: You're gonna take her his family away, And yeah, you
- 1:06:07Speaker 8: will have controlled this situation, but you won't have the
- 1:06:10Speaker 8: beautiful pictures, the memories, the video.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: You know, you pop people like when they cut the cake,
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: they cut.
- 1:06:17Speaker 8: Them cakes in the little bitty square so everybody can
- 1:06:20Speaker 8: get a piece Yo yop wining Cake will probably be
- 1:06:22Speaker 8: backing by like two hundred and fifty square.

- 1:09:23Speaker 3: What in the world, I ain't picked that one dinner?
- 1:09:26Speaker 10: Yeah you did, You picked the Chiefs.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: Packers beat the Chiefs.
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: Yeah, man, God, it's all good.
- 1:09:34Speaker 10: Pep, you still have man eight three eighty three, man
- 1:09:40Speaker 10: killed itself on? Thank you, Junior, Thank you, Pip Ben.
- 1:09:45Speaker 15: Coming up at the top of the hour, a wife
- 1:09:48Speaker 15: Steve needs some advice. She thinks her husband is planning
- 1:09:52Speaker 15: to have a baby by another woman. What we'll get
- 1:09:55Speaker 15: into it right after this.
- 1:09:57Speaker 17: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:10:02Speaker 15: All right, Steve, this is from Dion in Oakland. There's
- 1:10:06Speaker 15: been a rumor for years that my husband is dating
- 1:10:09Speaker 15: a woman that is a judge. She's been posting on
- 1:10:11Speaker 15: Facebook about wanting a baby and freezing her eggs. Last week,
- 1:10:16Speaker 15: she posted a picture of herself in a hospital gown
- 1:10:19Speaker 15: and wrote quote, the procedure was successful. He will finally
- 1:10:23Speaker 15: get the boy he's always wanted, and tagged the doctor
- 1:10:28Speaker 15: It's the same doctor I used when I had fertility issues.
- 1:10:31Speaker 15: Around the time she posted the pic, my husband was
- 1:10:34Speaker 15: supposedly in LA on a work trip. He called me
- 1:10:37Speaker 15: nutso when I asked him about this, but he didn't
- 1:10:40Speaker 15: deny it. We have two daughters and I couldn't give
- 1:10:43Speaker 15: him a son. Could this be a coincidence? Should I
- 1:10:47Speaker 15: call this woman and question her?
- 1:10:49Speaker 6: Wow?
- 1:10:51Speaker 16: Wow, this is something.
- 1:10:56Speaker 3: You know I'm going on?
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Which why I say about there?
- 1:11:00Speaker 8: Please let me just say this. I think for the
- 1:11:07Speaker 8: first time, this might be the second time. I'm going
- 1:11:10Speaker 8: to remove myself from this question. Oh why, you know,
- 1:11:16Speaker 8: because I just don't see how I can answer this
- 1:11:19Speaker 8: question honestly, because I don't know the reasoning behind I
- 1:11:24Speaker 8: can use to answer the question. Because I don't know.
- 1:11:27Speaker 8: This is way too serious. We're talking about the birth
- 1:11:31Speaker 8: of a human being, and you want to know if
- 1:11:33Speaker 8: I should call this woman. I'm gonna finally give the
- 1:11:36Speaker 8: son he's always wanted. Your husband to call you nuts?
- 1:11:39Speaker 8: He supposed to be on a trip. Y'all went to
- 1:11:42Speaker 8: the same fertility clinic. You got the same doctor.
- 1:11:48Speaker 3: You know the judge.
- 1:11:49Speaker 8: It's a judge. Fine, I'm trying to it's so much
- 1:11:53Speaker 8: got it? Why have we down at this clinic? Because
- 1:11:57Speaker 8: if she fine?
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: Why don't we.
- 1:12:01Speaker 7: Do it another way?
- 1:12:03Speaker 12: Boy?
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: What I'm it?
- 1:12:05Speaker 16: Just I'm you want to boid that badly that you
- 1:12:09Speaker 16: do all of this?
- 1:12:10Speaker 8: Yeah, see as a judge and I'm a judge on TV?
- 1:12:14Speaker 8: What do they call it when the judge removes himself
- 1:12:17Speaker 8: for a case. I'm going to boy, junior, you better
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: come through. I'm going to accuse myself from this because
- 1:12:27Speaker 8: I what do y'all.
- 1:12:29Speaker 16: Think you've ever you've done this?
- 1:12:31Speaker 7: Just?
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: Hell, no, I ain't done this. I've done a lot
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: of things. I ain't done this right here?
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: Why is nervous about this?
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: Why did you drag my hands and sweat?
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Why you drag me?
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: All right? All right? Why are we going yourself?
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: I don't think you should call this woman because this
- 1:12:51Speaker 8: woman is none of your business. Your husband is your
- 1:12:54Speaker 8: only business, so you got to keep everything towards your husband.
- 1:12:58Speaker 8: You cannot call this woman. This ain't your business, right,
- 1:13:03Speaker 8: all right?
- 1:13:04Speaker 15: I think we have time for another one. This is
- 1:13:06Speaker 15: from Kelsey and Saint Louis. Kelsey says, I'm thirty two
- 1:13:09Speaker 15: years old and I'm dating a man that is fifty
- 1:13:11Speaker 15: nine years old. I've moved in with him, and he
- 1:13:14Speaker 15: seems to hate everything about me. He yells at my
- 1:13:18Speaker 15: dog all the time, and he doesn't want my friends
- 1:13:20Speaker 15: to come over when he's not at home. I'm the breadwinner,
- 1:13:23Speaker 15: and I think he resents that I'm so successful at
- 1:13:27Speaker 15: my age, even though he says that's what he loves
- 1:13:29Speaker 15: most about me.
- 1:13:30Speaker 16: Why is he so uptight since I moved in?
- 1:13:33Speaker 8: Why wait a minute, I don't understand this. You married
- 1:13:36Speaker 8: a real old ass man that you.
- 1:13:39Speaker 16: Well, they're they're just dating?
- 1:13:41Speaker 3: Yeah, no, d you moved in?
- 1:13:44Speaker 16: Yeah, they moved in.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: They ain't just dating?
- 1:13:46Speaker 15: Shery because that's what she says, she's dating a man
- 1:13:51Speaker 15: that's fifty nine.
- 1:13:52Speaker 16: Okay, that's what she said.
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: I'm just saying, surely, yes, surely they're in a relationship.
- 1:13:58Speaker 16: Okay, don't get mad at me if you're at the other.
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: Why Why is she then moved in with an older man?
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: Uh huh?
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: And he and she taking care of hearing? Right, She's
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: that don't make no sense.
- 1:14:13Speaker 8: What you get his old ass for? You could have
- 1:14:15Speaker 8: moved in a young viral ass. Dude in there, he
- 1:14:18Speaker 8: fifty nine.
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: He damn near out viral.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Vira viral as a interview a viral?
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: Is this social media all right?
- 1:14:31Speaker 15: Coming up in twenty minutes after the hour, we'll have
- 1:14:34Speaker 15: more of this ignorant show right after.
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: This viral Roger, that's our leader. That's our leader, right, viral.
- 1:14:44Speaker 17: You're listening, morning show.
- 1:14:50Speaker 16: This story is crazy.
- 1:14:51Speaker 15: A Connecticut woman ordered a salad from Chopped Creative Salad
- 1:14:55Speaker 15: restaurant chain. She was shocked and disgusted when she bit
- 1:14:58Speaker 15: down on a piece of a human finger. That's right,
- 1:15:02Speaker 15: you heard me, a human finger. We've heard of bugs
- 1:15:06Speaker 15: being in the food, hair being in the stuff like that,
- 1:15:09Speaker 15: but a human finger. She's suing Chopped and seeking monetary
- 1:15:13Speaker 15: damages after claiming the incident has left her with dizziness, migraines, nausea,
- 1:15:19Speaker 15: and panic attacks.
- 1:15:21Speaker 7: All that.
- 1:15:24Speaker 18: Did she because we need that finger for exhibit.
- 1:15:32Speaker 15: The lawsuit states that a manager at the restaurant had
- 1:15:35Speaker 15: cut off part of his index finger while chopping arugola
- 1:15:39Speaker 15: and was rushed to the hospital and chopped allowed the
- 1:15:43Speaker 15: arugola to be served along with the piece of the
- 1:15:46Speaker 15: manager's finger.
- 1:15:47Speaker 16: Well, we see now it's name chopped for a reason.
- 1:15:51Speaker 23: Okay, sorry, I know Dan will he said, get my
- 1:15:56Speaker 23: finger out there. I know, he said, yeah, attitude too.
- 1:16:02Speaker 23: It was just attitude, not like is that my thing?
- 1:16:07Speaker 23: Is that my fan go ahead and get my fank from.
- 1:16:11Speaker 3: But you know if she ordered protein, Hey, that's pro
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: if you ordered protein.
- 1:16:20Speaker 15: All right, guys, we'll have more of the Steve Harvey

- 1:17:17Speaker 18: I'm thinking yeah, yeah, yeah, that's not a boat.
- 1:17:22Speaker 3: Oh I don't want just no damn boat. You need
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: something to go fishing in or something I don't want.
- 1:17:26Speaker 3: That ain't what.
- 1:17:27Speaker 10: You don't want nothing. You got to say, hold on, y'all,
- 1:17:29Speaker 10: we take it off.
- 1:17:32Speaker 16: You don't want that boat, all right?
- 1:17:35Speaker 15: Would you rather have a very muscular body but small
- 1:17:39Speaker 15: down below or would you rather have a fat body

- 1:17:44Speaker 16: Which one muscular and small or big?

- 1:17:51Speaker 8: I'm sorry, that's not a problem with either way.
- 1:17:56Speaker 3: So would you rather it was fat?
- 1:18:00Speaker 7: Though?
- 1:18:01Speaker 8: When Shirley came over that time, I want fat, fat,
- 1:18:03Speaker 8: and wheeze And I remember that too, big, fat, wheezing ass.
- 1:18:07Speaker 3: But I fixed that. Now I'm just skinny and blessed.
- 1:18:10Speaker 16: Just again, You're welcome. You're welcome.
- 1:18:13Speaker 8: No, you're motivate, your things going, thank you. So some
- 1:18:18Speaker 8: of you need things that happen in your life to
- 1:18:20Speaker 8: move you forward. And you know, sometimes you don't know
- 1:18:22Speaker 8: what's wrong to tell you to the eleven I'm going
- 1:18:25Speaker 8: up these steps. Uh damn.
- 1:18:30Speaker 3: And I heard that on a phone call. I said, oh, hell,
- 1:18:32Speaker 3: I didn't know, pleasing ass, And that's that's so went on.
- 1:18:37Speaker 8: But I just would like to say right now though
- 1:18:39Speaker 8: I like to make a public announcement, Steve Harvey, do
- 1:18:43Speaker 8: to elevate you and uh some things I'm doing cold
- 1:18:46Speaker 8: plunging and things like that. Steve Harvey started the program
- 1:18:49Speaker 8: at two hundred and forty nine pounds. That's how I started.
- 1:18:53Speaker 8: And I started at twenty five percent body fat. Steve
- 1:18:56Speaker 8: Harvey is down.
- 1:18:57Speaker 3: To two nineteen.
- 1:19:00Speaker 16: Congratulations.

- 1:19:35Speaker 3: I ain't believe none of that. I am sexy. But
- 1:19:39Speaker 3: it's regular section, that's today's rounded.
- 1:19:43Speaker 8: Would you rather, guy, it's a certain subject you will
- 1:19:46Speaker 8: find out really how sexy I am.
- 1:19:48Speaker 14: Thank you.
- 1:19:49Speaker 15: Coming up next, it is our last break of the day,
- 1:19:52Speaker 15: and we'll have some closing remarks from the one and only.
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: Sexy Steve Harvey right after this you're listening.
- 1:20:00Speaker 17: Morning show.
- 1:20:01Speaker 15: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:20:03Speaker 15: the day on this Monday, as we get closer to
- 1:20:07Speaker 15: Christmas day by day.
- 1:20:08Speaker 8: Getting my closing remarks because I know y'all have been wondering.
- 1:20:13Speaker 8: So I'm out of the country. Uh this time of
- 1:20:16Speaker 8: the year, God blesses me to be able to go
- 1:20:19Speaker 8: around this globe on many different things. Sometimes it's business opportunities,
- 1:20:25Speaker 8: sometimes it's visiting friends and stuff.
- 1:20:29Speaker 11: Uh.
- 1:20:29Speaker 8: Today I'm in Boswana. Boswana is a very very special
- 1:20:33Speaker 8: place to me because the President of Boswana gave me
- 1:20:37Speaker 8: my African name. My African name is Matusi. Matusi means
- 1:20:41Speaker 8: helper of people. After sitting with me and talking with
- 1:20:45Speaker 8: me and finding out all that I was, he gave
- 1:20:50Speaker 8: me my African name, which is Matusi. And uh, everywhere
- 1:20:54Speaker 8: I go in Boswana, that's what they call me because
- 1:20:57Speaker 8: the president named me.
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: There's like four years and so I walk around Matusi.
- 1:21:03Speaker 7: How are you? How are you?
- 1:21:04Speaker 3: Sir? It's very thing. But I'm bringing this subject up
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: to say this.
- 1:21:09Speaker 8: If you are an African American, if whatever you do,
- 1:21:16Speaker 8: please before you leave.
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: This world, if you can come home. Just come home.
- 1:21:27Speaker 8: It is something that will happen to you spiritually when
- 1:21:32Speaker 8: you land on this continent that your soul is from.
- 1:21:39Speaker 8: It taps into a piece of you that you've very
- 1:21:43Speaker 8: rarely been able to experience. And that is my love
- 1:21:47Speaker 8: for coming here. If I go to Ghana, it's the
- 1:21:50Speaker 8: same thing. If I go to Cape Town, it's the
- 1:21:52Speaker 8: same thing. If I go to Botswana, it's the same thing.
- 1:21:56Speaker 8: If I go to Kenya, if I go to Nigeria,
- 1:21:59Speaker 8: wherever I go, oh, it's the same thing. I recommend
- 1:22:05Speaker 8: to every African American if you can just save your money,
- 1:22:09Speaker 8: man and come home. Coming to Africa is like coming
- 1:22:15Speaker 8: to a place called home that you've never been. I
- 1:22:20Speaker 8: cannot tell you what it feels like to wake up
- 1:22:24Speaker 8: in the morning in a place called Africa, and when
- 1:22:29Speaker 8: you wake up you do not have to factor in
- 1:22:31Speaker 8: the fact that you are black. It will be the
- 1:22:35Speaker 8: first time in your life that you can walk out
- 1:22:38Speaker 8: your door, get in your car, go to a restaurant
- 1:22:41Speaker 8: and not have to factor in the fact that you're black.
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: And black people know exactly what I'm talking about.
- 1:22:48Speaker 8: We always have to grapple with the fact that we
- 1:22:50Speaker 8: the only one in the department, the only one on
- 1:22:53Speaker 8: the elevator, the only one at the meeting, the only
- 1:22:56Speaker 8: one with the job title, the only one in the classroom,
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: the only one in the boardroom, the only one with
- 1:23:03Speaker 8: that title, the only one in that department, the only
- 1:23:06Speaker 8: one going.
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: We always deal with that. We get in our car.
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: Black men, know what I'm talking about.
- 1:23:14Speaker 8: If you hear police siren, you automatically tighten up, don't you,
- 1:23:18Speaker 8: because you know what I'm talking about. If you come
- 1:23:22Speaker 8: home that feeling dissipates, it's gone. You don't have to
- 1:23:29Speaker 8: factor none of that in. You walk in the restaurant.
- 1:23:32Speaker 8: Do you know what it feels like to walk in
- 1:23:33Speaker 8: the restaurant and all of a sudden, you're the majority
- 1:23:36Speaker 8: and not the minority. You know what it feels like, man,
- 1:23:39Speaker 8: to go to the grocery store and you the majority
- 1:23:41Speaker 8: and not the minority.
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: You know what it feels like to go into a beautiful.
- 1:23:45Speaker 8: Neighborhood with luxury, high luxury homes and everybody in them
- 1:23:48Speaker 8: high luxury homes look just like you, and you ain't
- 1:23:51Speaker 8: got to go. Man, At least I made it. Let
- 1:23:53Speaker 8: me meet these people, see what they like now, because
- 1:23:56Speaker 8: they just like you do. You know, when you come
- 1:23:58Speaker 8: to Africa, it looks like you. Indtr it looks like you.
- 1:24:01Speaker 8: In Philly, it looked like you. In Cleveland, it looked
- 1:24:04Speaker 8: like you in Watch It looked like you in Detroit.
- 1:24:07Speaker 8: It looked like you in Miami. It just looked like that.
- 1:24:10Speaker 8: Because they walk like us, they move like us. You
- 1:24:12Speaker 8: know why, because they are us. I was watching TV
- 1:24:16Speaker 8: the other night. I just happened to be thumbing through
- 1:24:18Speaker 8: and I watched a video show. It was an all
- 1:24:20Speaker 8: African video.
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: Show, just like us.
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:24:26Speaker 8: I'm talking about exactly. If you cut the sound off,
- 1:24:31Speaker 8: you just thought you was at the crib watching a
- 1:24:32Speaker 8: video show.
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: We moved the same. We understand the beat the same,
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: that beat that we.
- 1:24:42Speaker 8: Live on in America, that beat that made us all
- 1:24:44Speaker 8: this money in R and B, that beat that made
- 1:24:47Speaker 8: us survive through gospel music, that rhythmic beat that carries
- 1:24:52Speaker 8: on in hip hop.
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: You know where that beat came from. It came from here, man.
- 1:24:57Speaker 8: That beat is over here, that drum beat, that baseline
- 1:25:01Speaker 8: originated from Africa.
- 1:25:03Speaker 3: It's us.
- 1:25:03Speaker 8: This is ours, man, this is ours. This is a powerful,
- 1:25:08Speaker 8: powerful place to come, powerful place to come. Everybody should
- 1:25:15Speaker 8: try and do this, man, before you leave this world.
- 1:25:19Speaker 8: I know, look the flight time, I know the flights
- 1:25:21Speaker 8: can be expensive. I know it's hard to put you.
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: I know it is.
- 1:25:25Speaker 8: I'm just but God can do anything. Pray about it.
- 1:25:28Speaker 8: Put it on your bucket list, put it on your
- 1:25:30Speaker 8: vision board. But come here, man, and go see some
- 1:25:34Speaker 8: of the cities that they developed. But man, go on
- 1:25:38Speaker 8: a safari.
- 1:25:39Speaker 7: Go do that.
- 1:25:40Speaker 8: See what See how vast this continent is. This thing
- 1:25:43Speaker 8: called Africa is amazing, man, it is amazing. Now I
- 1:25:47Speaker 8: want you to know something. Now, the animals that you
- 1:25:50Speaker 8: gonna see out there, they ain't the ones that's in
