- 0:00Speaker 1: I had a meeting yesterday with some political minds around
- 0:04Speaker 1: the country and we were talking about the upcoming midterm elections,
- 0:08Speaker 1: and we were talking about our concerns, and our concerns
- 0:11Speaker 1: are that we are going to take the bait as
- 0:13Speaker 1: conservatives and allow Democrats to reframe with this is election.
- 0:17Speaker 1: This election is actually about this election right now, it
- 0:21Speaker 1: should not be about Donald Trump. The midterm elections have
- 0:24Speaker 1: nothing to do with Donald Trump, and Democrats are trying
- 0:27Speaker 1: to make it about Donald Trump at all costs because
- 0:29Speaker 1: they cannot stand on what's actually happening, what they're doing
- 0:33Speaker 1: to our economy. Now, the New York Time just came
- 0:37Speaker 1: out with a new poll that shows support for Donald
- 0:40Speaker 1: Trump remains steady. I'm not surprised by this, okay, because
- 0:45Speaker 1: people that love Donald Trump, I'm one of them, are
- 0:48Speaker 1: supporting the president and it is and his approval rating
- 0:52Speaker 1: has remained stable through the whole summer, especially after the
- 0:57Speaker 1: Marlago raid and the new investigation quote unquote in New York.
- 1:01Speaker 1: He has continued, by the way, to play a major
- 1:03Speaker 1: role in the midterm elections. Forty four view him favorably,
- 1:09Speaker 1: fifty three percent view him unfavorably. Now, this poll was
- 1:12Speaker 1: conducted earlier this month after the news about the Justice
- 1:16Speaker 1: Department's investigation of Trump and classified documents broke. This also
- 1:22Speaker 1: tells you that this election, they do believe their best
- 1:25Speaker 1: option and their best opportunity is to make this election
- 1:28Speaker 1: some sort of a referendum on a guy that's not
- 1:30Speaker 1: in office, Donald Trump. When you have a fifty three
- 1:33Speaker 1: percent unfavorable this is how the Democrats want to move forward. Now,
- 1:38Speaker 1: the warning and the long conversation that I had with
- 1:42Speaker 1: several other brilliant political commentators is we have to remind
- 1:47Speaker 1: people what this election is actually about, and we need
- 1:49Speaker 1: to do a better job of reframing the narrative to
- 1:54Speaker 1: not make this about Donald Trump, but to make this
- 1:57Speaker 1: about the facts and what's happened under Biden. This election,
- 2:01Speaker 1: this midterm election, in other words, needs to be about
- 2:04Speaker 1: Joe Biden. He is the president, about his policies because
- 2:07Speaker 1: they are his policies. And interest rates just went up again.
- 2:13Speaker 1: The Federal Reserved Chairman Jerome Powell had this to say
- 2:16Speaker 1: about how bad the economy is and how bad inflation is,
- 2:20Speaker 1: and this is what this election should be about. Listen,
- 2:23Speaker 1: people are seeing their wage increases, their wage increases eaten
- 2:27Speaker 1: up by inflation. So if your family is one where
- 2:31Speaker 1: you spend most of your paycheck every paycheck cycle on gas, food, transportation, clothing,
- 2:38Speaker 1: basics of life, and prices go up the way they've
- 2:42Speaker 1: been going up, you're in trouble right away. You don't
- 2:44Speaker 1: have a cushion. And this is very painful for people
- 2:48Speaker 1: at the lower end of the income and wealth spectrum.
- 2:50Speaker 1: So that's what we're hearing from people is you know
- 2:53Speaker 1: very much that inflation is really hurting. This is the election,
- 2:59Speaker 1: this is the subject of the election. This is what
- 3:02Speaker 1: we should be talking about. The clip I just played
- 3:05Speaker 1: you is the clip you need to be sharing. And
- 3:07Speaker 1: I'll say it again if you've not shared our podcasts,
- 3:10Speaker 1: share them when we give you this because people need
- 3:13Speaker 1: to understand, do not be distracted by the well look
- 3:17Speaker 1: at Donald Trump and the Donald Trump stuff, right, because
- 3:20Speaker 1: we know that that has an impact on independence. We
- 3:23Speaker 1: need to remind people of the words coming from the
- 3:26Speaker 1: Federal Reserve chairman. People are saying their wages increases eaten
- 3:30Speaker 1: up by inflation. This is a very painful time for
- 3:33Speaker 1: people at the lower end of the income and the
- 3:35Speaker 1: wealth spectrum. That is what he said why would we
- 3:39Speaker 1: not just remind people of this? All right, I gotta
- 3:44Speaker 1: take a moment to talk to you real quick about
- 3:46Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. If you want to know what the left
- 3:49Speaker 1: real plan is for your kids, just look at the
- 3:53Speaker 1: reaction to what Patriot Mobile did in multiple school districts
- 3:56Speaker 1: in Texas. The left literally lost their mind. Is now
- 3:59Speaker 1: at hacking the company Now. Patriot Mobile is America's only
- 4:04Speaker 1: conservative mobile phone provider, and they are a force for
- 4:08Speaker 1: conservative values. That's because they take a portion of your
- 4:11Speaker 1: bill every month that nuts are costs to you, and
- 4:14Speaker 1: they fund conservative causes and candidates who believe in the
- 4:17Speaker 1: sanctity of life, freedom of speech, and the Second Amendment. Plus,
- 4:21Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile saves you, your family, and even your business money.
- 4:26Speaker 1: All you gotta do is go to Patriotmobile dot com
- 4:29Speaker 1: slash ferguson or call them to find out how much
- 4:32Speaker 1: you can save nine seven to Patriot that's nine seven
- 4:37Speaker 1: two Patriot and free activation other discounts by using the
- 4:40Speaker 1: promo code ferguson that's nine seven two Patriot or Patriotmobile
- 4:45Speaker 1: dot com slash ben. Now, there's a chief economists, an
- 4:51Speaker 1: economic advisor, who went on TV this morning from London
- 4:57Speaker 1: this after the FEDS again hiked interest rates by zero
- 5:00Speaker 1: point seventy five percent to help quote calm down and
- 5:04Speaker 1: tamp down inflation. And I want you to hear what
- 5:07Speaker 1: he had to say about the rate hikes and how
- 5:10Speaker 1: they are going to be is what he described as
- 5:12Speaker 1: a violent shock to the economy. This, they say, we'll
- 5:16Speaker 1: create a huge problem and the real push into a
- 5:20Speaker 1: real deep recession. Let's talk about this with Muhammad Hilarian,
- 5:26Speaker 1: chief economic advisor at Alan's also the president of Queen's
- 5:29Speaker 1: College at Cambridge University. Muhammed, you have been talking about
- 5:33Speaker 1: this warning we could get to this point for more
- 5:35Speaker 1: than a year. Now here we are, and you know,
- 5:39Speaker 1: I'm struck by what you call just a real tragedy,
- 5:42Speaker 1: that this is an impossible decision that the FED has
- 5:44Speaker 1: had to make and it sounds like we'll continue to
- 5:46Speaker 1: have to make. Yes, Puppy, it is tragic because we
- 5:51Speaker 1: could have avoided this, but unfortunately the FED did not
- 5:54Speaker 1: act early enough. So instead of just tapping the brakes,
- 5:58Speaker 1: it is slamming on the rags, which means, by the way,
- 6:02Speaker 1: this is on CNN, this is what the election needs
- 6:05Speaker 1: to be about. This is a chief economic advisor, a
- 6:08Speaker 1: fellow at Cambridge, a guy who just said, the Biden
- 6:11Speaker 1: administration and the FED screwed up. The Biden administration screwed
- 6:19Speaker 1: this up and could have stopped this from happening. The
- 6:21Speaker 1: FED screwed this up and could have stopped this from happening.
- 6:24Speaker 1: And he's saying this, by the way, from London, means
- 6:27Speaker 1: that this is not just about higher borrowing costs. This
- 6:31Speaker 1: is about a high risk of a recession. This is
- 6:35Speaker 1: about four or one k's valuations being destroyed. So there's
- 6:40Speaker 1: a lot of what Chad Pockle's pain, but I would
- 6:45Speaker 1: call significant damage to Americans because the FED has been
- 6:49Speaker 1: so late. You know, Senator Elizabeth Warren has been sounding
- 6:54Speaker 1: the alarm bells. And this, by the way, for a
- 6:56Speaker 1: long time. By the way, I love this. She goes
- 6:58Speaker 1: at Bobby Harlowe, right, she goes to Elizabeth Warren. Why
- 7:02Speaker 1: aren't she talking about Elizabeth Warren. I'll tell you the
- 7:04Speaker 1: real reason why she's talking about Elizabeth Warren now is
- 7:06Speaker 1: because she is looking at Elizabeth Warren is the possible
- 7:10Speaker 1: next person and the Democratic Party that might move on
- 7:13Speaker 1: past Joe Biden. And she says, well, you know, there's
- 7:16Speaker 1: others brilliant Democrats that have been warning about this. Elizabeth
- 7:20Speaker 1: Warren is an individual that voted for all of the
- 7:23Speaker 1: massive government spending under this administration. She's in someone that
- 7:28Speaker 1: quote supported right the Inflation Reduction Act that had nothing
- 7:33Speaker 1: to do with actually dealing with inflation. It was a
- 7:35Speaker 1: green alternative energy bill. And here they are trying to
- 7:39Speaker 1: rewrite history on CNN, saying, when you hike rates like
- 7:44Speaker 1: this over and over again, you are increasing the chances
- 7:48Speaker 1: of a recession and increasing the chances that you put
- 7:51Speaker 1: potentially millions of folks out of work. And her argument
- 7:54Speaker 1: is that that is more painful than even sustained high inflation.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Now experts differ on whether they agree with but that
- 8:00Speaker 1: is her assessment. And she called the rate hike yesterday extreme,
- 8:03Speaker 1: and I love this, by the way, she's now calling
- 8:06Speaker 1: a rate hike extreme. Why is she saying this, because
- 8:09Speaker 1: let's just blame somebody else for what you did. And
- 8:12Speaker 1: why did we have these rate hikes, you may ask,
- 8:15Speaker 1: It is because of the massive spending that we did
- 8:18Speaker 1: during COVID and the entire time during this new administration.
- 8:23Speaker 1: We have been spending trillions, not billions, not millions, but
- 8:27Speaker 1: trillions of dollars on government handouts. It's a problem, and
- 8:32Speaker 1: we were warning that it was a problem. We were
- 8:34Speaker 1: warning that too much money was being printed, and people
- 8:37Speaker 1: warned and Democrats didn't listen, and they just spent another
- 8:41Speaker 1: trillion plus dollars on the Inflation Reduction Act that the
- 8:44Speaker 1: Congressional Budget Office said will not actually reduce inflation. It
- 8:49Speaker 1: was a government pork barrel spending bill, and that's how
- 8:54Speaker 1: they got the votes to get it past because everybody
- 8:57Speaker 1: was saying, sure, I'll take some of that cash, I'll
- 9:00Speaker 1: take some of that money. I will be a part
- 9:05Speaker 1: of this. This is, by the way, what we should
- 9:09Speaker 1: be telling people about. You want to know something else
- 9:11Speaker 1: that's happening in the economy. This happened today. You remember
- 9:16Speaker 1: that big story about the ongoing baby formula shortage. Right,
- 9:20Speaker 1: the media has moved on from that because it makes
- 9:23Speaker 1: Joe Biden in the White House look bad, it makes
- 9:25Speaker 1: Democrats look bad and out of touch. But the FDA
- 9:29Speaker 1: now reports that they are now admitting in their own
- 9:32Speaker 1: report that they had a major slow response to the
- 9:36Speaker 1: formula crisis because the FDA under the Biden administration didn't
- 9:41Speaker 1: take it seriously and did you know that there is
- 9:44Speaker 1: still a baby formula shortage in this country. There is,
- 9:49Speaker 1: so we have to tell that story because the media
- 9:52Speaker 1: is not going to do it. This election, again has
- 9:55Speaker 1: nothing to do with Donald Trump. The Democrats are trying
- 9:58Speaker 1: to make it about Donald Trump, and we need say
- 10:00Speaker 1: no, no no, no, he's not the president. You guys are
- 10:03Speaker 1: in charge. You have the House, you have the Senate,
- 10:05Speaker 1: you're in charge. You guys can't even give us baby formula.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Don't talk about Donald Trump, talk about baby formula. It's
- 10:15Speaker 1: really depressing, honestly, because this should never got to the
- 10:19Speaker 1: point that it is now. And trying to find formula
- 10:21Speaker 1: even now, you know, it's really hard to go to
- 10:24Speaker 1: the store and see empty shelves, and whenever you do
- 10:27Speaker 1: find a can, it is so expensive that you just
- 10:29Speaker 1: can't afford to be able to feed your child. And
- 10:33Speaker 1: it's extremest. How expensive is it fifty six I can
- 10:39Speaker 1: and that only lasts my child one week. Fifty six
- 10:42Speaker 1: dollars a can. That's how much baby formula costs under
- 10:46Speaker 1: the Biden administration. This mother who has a seven month old,
- 10:50Speaker 1: who's been dealing with a baby formula crisis the entire
- 10:53Speaker 1: time she's been a mother said, it's really depressing, honestly,
- 10:57Speaker 1: because it should never have gotten to the point with that,
- 11:01Speaker 1: and with what it is now and trying to find
- 11:04Speaker 1: baby formula even now, you know, it's really hard to
- 11:07Speaker 1: go to a story and see empty shelves, and then
- 11:09Speaker 1: when you do find it, it is at the point
- 11:11Speaker 1: where I can barely afford to feed my child. These
- 11:15Speaker 1: are the issues, by the way, that the American public
- 11:18Speaker 1: genuinely care about, if we just remind them about these
- 11:22Speaker 1: issues and talk about where we are because of this administration.
- 11:28Speaker 1: MSNBC this morning, Linda Thomas Greenfield, she came out talking
- 11:33Speaker 1: about Iran, right because that's a great distraction, what's happening
- 11:37Speaker 1: in Iran instead of what's happening in America. Andrea Mitchell,
- 11:43Speaker 1: she also made it all about Iran this morning, saying,
- 11:46Speaker 1: we got you know, we got out of the deal unilaterally,
- 11:49Speaker 1: referring to the Iran Nuclear Deal. It just has been
- 11:51Speaker 1: an incredible policy failure. We've got a problem. Now. They
- 11:55Speaker 1: want you to worry about Iran right now. What's happening
- 11:58Speaker 1: in Iran, and again that has nothing to do with
- 12:00Speaker 1: what's happening here in this country domestically, but they will
- 12:03Speaker 1: focus on international issues just like this, and get ready,
- 12:07Speaker 1: they're gonna start focusing more in Ukraine, They're gonna start
- 12:09Speaker 1: focusing more on Russia, They're gonna start focusing more on China.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Because that is a distraction from you actually having a
- 12:17Speaker 1: real conversation with your family and friends about the fact
- 12:20Speaker 1: that we live now in a country under the Biden
- 12:22Speaker 1: leadership where baby formulas fifty plus dollars a can and
- 12:26Speaker 1: you can't find it. So let's distract with I Ran.
- 12:30Speaker 1: Unless you need more, I know you've got to run
- 12:32Speaker 1: over to the UN I want to ask you about Iran. Though.
- 12:34Speaker 1: We're seeing some extraordinary pictures in the streets of Iran
- 12:37Speaker 1: of women removing their headscarves, cutting their hair, all going
- 12:41Speaker 1: back to the death of a young woman in the
- 12:43Speaker 1: custody of what's called the morality police there. How significant
- 12:48Speaker 1: are these pictures. We don't see this very often. They're significant,
- 12:51Speaker 1: but I think back to two thousand and nine when
- 12:52Speaker 1: we saw an uprising and the US did not stand
- 12:56Speaker 1: up and do something about it. Obviously, it's terribly complicated,
- 13:00Speaker 1: but they can be crushed very easily, especially because we
- 13:06Speaker 1: understand that the Supreme Leader of the Ayatollah is frail
- 13:10Speaker 1: and may actually be sicker than it has been acknowledged.
- 13:14Speaker 1: That could lead to of course, the IRGC, the Revolutionary Guard,
- 13:20Speaker 1: the military unit which controls the economy and everything else
- 13:23Speaker 1: there and is still demanding demanding revenge for the Solomon
- 13:30Speaker 1: the assassination and the US let's kill. That could lead
- 13:35Speaker 1: to an even a further hardening of a policy. And
- 13:39Speaker 1: the fact that we listen to this carefully. By the way,
- 13:42Speaker 1: they're trying to distract you with this issue in a
- 13:44Speaker 1: ran of women cutting your hair and like standing up
- 13:46Speaker 1: for women and all of that, and I understand it,
- 13:49Speaker 1: but that is an distraction from what's happening this country. Now.
- 13:51Speaker 1: The next thing that she says is in fact something
- 13:54Speaker 1: we should be talking about with its midterm elections, and
- 13:57Speaker 1: that is the foreign policy disaster that's allow out for
- 14:00Speaker 1: Russia to invade Ukraine, for the Taliban to control Afghanistan,
- 14:05Speaker 1: for the debacle that was US pulling out of Afghanistan.
- 14:08Speaker 1: And listened very carefully to what Andrea Mitchell says about
- 14:14Speaker 1: the Iran deal, and this is what has happened under
- 14:17Speaker 1: the Biden administration. Now, this is what she's about to
- 14:19Speaker 1: say is actually something we should talk about in the
- 14:22Speaker 1: mid terms. Not about the women's issue in Iran right
- 14:26Speaker 1: not about the woman in Iran who died in custody.
- 14:28Speaker 1: We should be talking about what she's about to say
- 14:31Speaker 1: right now, because we were stupid. The Biden administration was stupid.
- 14:35Speaker 1: The Obama administration was stupid. You are weeks away from
- 14:40Speaker 1: them having enough nuclear fuel for at least one weapon
- 14:43Speaker 1: when we had at least eyes on. It was an
- 14:46Speaker 1: imperfect deal, but at least we had the YUHN inspectors
- 14:50Speaker 1: and video and we understood more of what they had.
- 14:54Speaker 1: And then with the build up since we got out
- 14:56Speaker 1: of the deal, you know, latterly, it's just been an
- 15:00Speaker 1: incredible policy failure. So we've got real problems there. We
- 15:04Speaker 1: got real problems there. Yeah, they may get nuclear weapons.
- 15:06Speaker 1: How did they get so close? We sent them billions
- 15:08Speaker 1: of dollars in cash under Joe Biden and Barack Obama's leadership.
- 15:12Speaker 1: That is what this election should be about. A rand's
- 15:16Speaker 1: about to get a nuclear weapon, folks. Let that sit
- 15:18Speaker 1: in now. Before I get into more of this story,
- 15:21Speaker 1: I want to say thank you and tell you about
- 15:23Speaker 1: our good friends at Legacy Precious Medals Without them the
- 15:26Speaker 1: show wouldn't be possible. And if you have not looked
- 15:30Speaker 1: at gold and silver as a way to protect your
- 15:32Speaker 1: hard earned dollars against what the happening on Wall Street
- 15:34Speaker 1: with inflation, it's time for you to call them and
- 15:38Speaker 1: get the free Investor's Guide. Why because so many around
- 15:41Speaker 1: the world are now using gold and silver, and historically
- 15:44Speaker 1: they have for decades as a protection, a hedge against inflation,
- 15:48Speaker 1: which is exactly what we're dealing with right now. If
- 15:50Speaker 1: you're terrified to look at your retirement account, your four
- 15:53Speaker 1: one case statement because of what's happening on Wall Street,
- 15:56Speaker 1: that's all the more reason why you should call and
- 15:58Speaker 1: get the investors got in gold and silver, protect your
- 16:01Speaker 1: hard earned money and diversify. Call them and get the
- 16:04Speaker 1: free Investor's Guide from Legacy Precious Medals one eight six
- 16:08Speaker 1: six seven five one twenty two eighteen one eight six
- 16:13Speaker 1: six seven five one twenty two eighteen or online at
- 16:17Speaker 1: Legacy PM investments dot com. The media does not want
- 16:24Speaker 1: you to realize how catastrophic the failure of our foreign
- 16:28Speaker 1: policy under Biden is going to be. When a Rand
- 16:31Speaker 1: has a nuclear weapon, we're being told we're weeks away
- 16:34Speaker 1: from that being a reality. How do they get the
- 16:36Speaker 1: money to do this? They got it literally from the
- 16:39Speaker 1: Biden administration when he was with Barack Obama. What are
- 16:44Speaker 1: we going to do stop it? Apparently nothing. Now that
- 16:47Speaker 1: should be an election issue, the foreign policy disasters of
- 16:51Speaker 1: this administration. But on TV they want you to think
- 16:57Speaker 1: about this from a woman's rights perspective, not from a
- 17:00Speaker 1: nuclear war perspective. And so that's the narrative they're pushing
- 17:05Speaker 1: because they know women's rights and the liberals saying, but
- 17:07Speaker 1: we sent up for women while the Republicans don't. In
- 17:10Speaker 1: our body, our choice and Rob Wade is something that
- 17:14Speaker 1: might connect with liberal voters, especially feminist, especially women. I
- 17:19Speaker 1: wanted to ask you, Ambassador, about the inspiring scenes in
- 17:21Speaker 1: the streets of Iran over the last couple of days,
- 17:25Speaker 1: largely young people going to the streets protesting the morality police.
- 17:30Speaker 1: There's actually something called the morality police in Iran. Young
- 17:33Speaker 1: woman died in the custody of that group. But really
- 17:36Speaker 1: it's a taste and a thirst for freedom. Will the
- 17:40Speaker 1: United States support these people in their efforts freedom because
- 17:44Speaker 1: they have been in the past disappointed by the United
- 17:47Speaker 1: States and had their movements squashed. This is amazing. They're
- 17:52Speaker 1: talking about women in the streets of Iran and we're
- 17:56Speaker 1: weeks away from Iran getting a nuclear weapon. But this
- 17:59Speaker 1: is what they want this election to be about. Well,
- 18:03Speaker 1: let's talk about what America's going to do support the
- 18:05Speaker 1: women I Ran. There's nothing we can do support the
- 18:07Speaker 1: women I Ran. To be honest with you, we have
- 18:09Speaker 1: we can't even get our own citizens out of Afghanistan.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Why what would make you think that we could have
- 18:17Speaker 1: some major impact here, right, some significant impact on the
- 18:22Speaker 1: women and the street of Iran, when we should be
- 18:25Speaker 1: talking about Iran getting a nuclear weapon, Right, that's what
- 18:30Speaker 1: it should be about. But hey, here we go, folks, Right,
- 18:37Speaker 1: here we go. No big deal. We'll go down the
- 18:40Speaker 1: women's rights movement. We'll talk about how great the women's
- 18:43Speaker 1: rights movement is. We'll talk about how America must stand
- 18:48Speaker 1: up and stand strong with these women, which is again
- 18:51Speaker 1: completely meaningless. And the bigger scheme of things that Iran
- 18:54Speaker 1: is on the verge of a nuclear weapon because of
- 18:56Speaker 1: the policies of the Biden administration. And listen under the
- 19:00Speaker 1: ambassador's response, by the power of a run, you know,
- 19:03Speaker 1: the death of this young woman was extraordinarily sad. It
- 19:07Speaker 1: shows what this country is capable of squashing the expression
- 19:15Speaker 1: of frustration that the young Iranians are feeling. So we
- 19:20Speaker 1: are supportive of them, of their rights to protests, and
- 19:27Speaker 1: we will they know that they can depend on our
- 19:30Speaker 1: voice in condemning the Iranian government, condemning their actions against
- 19:37Speaker 1: these young people, and they should expect that if they
- 19:42Speaker 1: don't listen to their youth, they're going to see these
- 19:45Speaker 1: demonstrations continue to happen over and over again. Pretty extraordinary pictures,
- 19:51Speaker 1: aren't they make you? Pretty extraordinary pictures? Isn't it? I
- 19:54Speaker 1: mean ours, you're in NBC headlines extraordinary pictures. Right, women
- 19:59Speaker 1: make up more than fifty percent of the world's population.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Women rights are human rights, and we have to support
- 20:04Speaker 1: them wherever their rights are being stamped on. That is
- 20:06Speaker 1: your message from your government. Okay, so what happens when
- 20:11Speaker 1: Iran gets a nuclear weapon? And what do you think
- 20:13Speaker 1: they're going to do to women's rights? Then I'm just curious.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I'm asking for fifty percent of the population in Iran
- 20:22Speaker 1: if they get nuclear weapons, you think America is going
- 20:24Speaker 1: to be able to stand up for women's rights in Iran?
- 20:27Speaker 1: Probably not, But these are the issues and these are
- 20:31Speaker 1: the distractions that are taking place right now, and we
- 20:36Speaker 1: have to really really focus in here and have a
- 20:41Speaker 1: real conversation about what's happening in this country now. You
- 20:47Speaker 1: also got to go back to the priorities here. You
- 20:52Speaker 1: look at what has happened this country in the last
- 20:54Speaker 1: year year and a half. Parents has started to stand
- 20:57Speaker 1: up domestically right in this country for their kids. They're
- 21:03Speaker 1: standing up for their right to have an opinion about
- 21:05Speaker 1: their kids and what they're being taught or i should
- 21:07Speaker 1: say indoctrinated in schools with right how they're being indoctrinated.
- 21:13Speaker 1: I mean, these are real things now that are happening.
- 21:17Speaker 1: And what is the left saying, was the media saying
- 21:20Speaker 1: ahead the midterms, Oh, these parents are out of control,
- 21:23Speaker 1: These parents are radical, These parents are the problem. They're
- 21:30Speaker 1: trying to ban books in schools from being read to
- 21:35Speaker 1: your children, where we're trying to indoctrinate them on things
- 21:37Speaker 1: like LGBTQIA agenda and telling your kids they can choose
- 21:43Speaker 1: to be the opposite sex of what in fact they
- 21:45Speaker 1: actually are. And that's exactly what they're doing ahead of
- 21:49Speaker 1: the midterms. They're telling you that the right, right, the
- 21:52Speaker 1: magarepublicans that Trump lovers again. They need Trump to win
- 21:57Speaker 1: an election. They need an enemy, they need a villain,
- 22:00Speaker 1: and they're telling you that if you support Donald Trump,
- 22:03Speaker 1: those people are domestic terrorists. You've got to stop them.
- 22:06Speaker 1: And that's exactly why c And ended an entire five
- 22:10Speaker 1: minute montage about free speech in America is under attack
- 22:15Speaker 1: from who? From Donald Trump of course, his supporters, and
- 22:17Speaker 1: the domestic terrorists that are involved with them. The January
- 22:21Speaker 1: six people. Free speech is under attack in America. It's
- 22:25Speaker 1: a narrative that's persistent for years on the right, and
- 22:28Speaker 1: conservatives have a point when it comes to college campus controversies,
- 22:32Speaker 1: but they're missing one major component, and that's the subject
- 22:35Speaker 1: of this week's upon for the Review. Now, on the surface,
- 22:38Speaker 1: free speech is something that should unite liberals and conservatives.
- 22:42Speaker 1: After all, it's a constitutional right and it protects all Americans.
- 22:45Speaker 1: The problem, of course, is that we've seen the politicization
- 22:48Speaker 1: of its application and a ton of situational ethics leading
- 22:52Speaker 1: to what might be called free speech for me, but
- 22:55Speaker 1: not for thee. On the right, they've long been complaints
- 22:58Speaker 1: about conservatives getting disinvited, are pulling out from speeches on
- 23:01Speaker 1: college campuses after pressure from student protests. And I'm not
- 23:04Speaker 1: just talking about professional partisan provocateurs like a Colti and
- 23:08Speaker 1: Ben Shapiro. I'm talking about top tier officeholders like then
- 23:12Speaker 1: Vice President Mike Pence, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, academics
- 23:16Speaker 1: like Christina hoff Summers and Charles Murray, and even journalists
- 23:19Speaker 1: like Jason Riley, to name just a few. Now, these
- 23:22Speaker 1: campus controversies get covered mostly in conservative media, but as
- 23:26Speaker 1: it turns out, they aren't solely a problem for speakers
- 23:29Speaker 1: on the right, as Georgetown's Free Speech Tracker details. For example,
- 23:33Speaker 1: historian John Meetcham was canceled from speaking at Alabama's Stamford College.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Former Obama era DHS had J. Johnson was disinvited from
- 23:40Speaker 1: his speech at Vasser for his role in deporting on
- 23:42Speaker 1: document immigrants. There even attempts to ban President Biden from
- 23:45Speaker 1: speaking at Notre Dame on the basis of his political beliefs.
- 23:48Speaker 1: And that's not all. A twenty eighteen Gallop poll found
- 23:51Speaker 1: that sixty one percent of college students say that the
- 23:54Speaker 1: climate on campus prevents some people from expressing their views
- 23:57Speaker 1: because others might find them offensive. I love right conservatives
- 24:01Speaker 1: are the ones that are being attacked on college campuses,
- 24:04Speaker 1: not liberals. But hey, isn't it nice to come out
- 24:09Speaker 1: there and put all this data together and tell you
- 24:12Speaker 1: that the real issue and the real problem is in
- 24:16Speaker 1: fact the right, the conservatives. It's not the liberals, it's
- 24:22Speaker 1: the conservatives. The conservatives are your public enemy. The Trump
- 24:26Speaker 1: supporters are the enemy. And this is how the Democrats
- 24:30Speaker 1: plan to win in the midterms, or at least reduce
- 24:33Speaker 1: the number of Democrats that are going to lose. This
- 24:37Speaker 1: is how they deal with the carnage that is coming
- 24:39Speaker 1: their way because they know it's coming their way. But
- 24:41Speaker 1: they're changing the narrative quickly. And I say it again,
- 24:45Speaker 1: let's stop taking the bait. The issues in this country
- 24:50Speaker 1: are clear right now. The issues in this country are obvious.
- 24:55Speaker 1: The economy is everything. It's the economy stupid, it's parental,
- 25:00Speaker 1: it's hyperinflation, it's tax increases, and it's crime. Those are
- 25:05Speaker 1: the issues, and it's the border. Those are the issues
- 25:08Speaker 1: we need to focus on if we're going to win.
- 25:12Speaker 1: We got to remind people just how extreme, by the way,
- 25:14Speaker 1: the women of the Democratic Party are. Now you notice
- 25:18Speaker 1: I'm not talking about Donald Trump and MAGA right now,
- 25:20Speaker 1: because that's what they want us to talk about. What
- 25:23Speaker 1: we should be talking about is the psychotic nature of
- 25:26Speaker 1: the Democratic Party. And just look at Stacy Abrams. Remember
- 25:30Speaker 1: Stacy Abrams, she ran for governor and Georgia loss and
- 25:33Speaker 1: refused to concede the election. Yeah, she has now come
- 25:36Speaker 1: out and this is sick, radical and extreme. She has
- 25:40Speaker 1: now said that a fetal heartbeat is a quote manufactured
- 25:45Speaker 1: sound to outlaw abortion Georgia Democrat goodmentorial candidates. Stacy Abrams
- 25:54Speaker 1: aired her abortion extremism this week when she suggested that
- 26:00Speaker 1: a fetal heartbeat is nothing more than a manufactured sound
- 26:04Speaker 1: designed to control a woman's body. She said, there is
- 26:09Speaker 1: no such thing as a heartbeat at six weeks. She
- 26:12Speaker 1: said this before a panel. It is a manufactured sound
- 26:18Speaker 1: design to convince people men have a right to take
- 26:22Speaker 1: control of a woman's body. So now it's a sexistue too.
- 26:29Speaker 1: These are the same people that also tell you you
- 26:31Speaker 1: can't tell a man or a woman what sex they
- 26:33Speaker 1: actually are, right. These are the same people that can't
- 26:36Speaker 1: tell the difference between a man and a woman, who
- 26:38Speaker 1: when it's convenient, all of a sudden, will throw down
- 26:41Speaker 1: happily on what it is to be a woman and
- 26:44Speaker 1: men stay out of our lives. There's no such thing
- 26:48Speaker 1: as a heartbeat. It's six weeks. She said it on
- 26:51Speaker 1: stage surrounded by other African American men and women at
- 26:55Speaker 1: an event there. It is to take control of her
- 27:10Speaker 1: body and take it away from her. There's no such
- 27:13Speaker 1: saying as a heartbeat at six weeks. This is what
- 27:16Speaker 1: the election needs to be about. I think most people
- 27:20Speaker 1: would agree that that is psychotic now. Abrams was taking
- 27:25Speaker 1: aim at a twenty nineteen Georgia law that banned most
- 27:28Speaker 1: abortions in the state. After doctors can detect a fetal heartbeat,
- 27:33Speaker 1: which usually happens around six weeks, and since most women
- 27:37Speaker 1: do not learn of their pregnancy in the first six weeks,
- 27:39Speaker 1: the law effectively bans all abortions in the Peach State.
- 27:42Speaker 1: Democrats say though the law faced numerous hurdles, it finally
- 27:47Speaker 1: went into effect this year after the Supreme Court overturned
- 27:50Speaker 1: Roe v. Wade. So when that happens, you just come
- 27:52Speaker 1: out and say this is a lie. Right, you can't
- 27:56Speaker 1: do this. She was also on CNN and Abrams promise
- 28:00Speaker 1: that abortion will be front and center of her campaign, saying, quote,
- 28:04Speaker 1: women deserve full citizenship in the United States. Full citizenship.
- 28:10Speaker 1: You don't have that now, I thought you did. Nope,
- 28:12Speaker 1: we don't. We're just making up crap as we go.
- 28:15Speaker 1: And certainly in the state of Georgia, they are being
- 28:17Speaker 1: denied that because of the six week ban, we are
- 28:22Speaker 1: driving not only doctors and nurses out of the state,
- 28:25Speaker 1: we're likely going to drive jobs away too, And that
- 28:29Speaker 1: should be terrifying to anyone, regardless of your political persuasion.
- 28:32Speaker 1: It's not terrifying, by the way, that you're killing innocent babies. No, No,
- 28:36Speaker 1: what's terrifying to the left they claim is that women
- 28:41Speaker 1: aren't full citizens. What's terrifying they claim is that we
- 28:44Speaker 1: might drive a job out of a state. Right, we
- 28:48Speaker 1: might drive a doctor and nurses out of the state.
- 28:51Speaker 1: That should be terrifying, not that we're dismembering children. That's
- 28:56Speaker 1: totally fine with the left. A recent poll by the
- 29:00Speaker 1: conducted by the Atlanta Journal Constitution in the University of
- 29:02Speaker 1: Georgia found that Georgia Governor Brian Kemp had widened his
- 29:08Speaker 1: lead over Abrams, while Republican Herschel Walker had overtaken Democrat
- 29:12Speaker 1: Senator Warnock in the US Senate race as well. Kemp
- 29:17Speaker 1: received fifty percent and Abrams received forty two. Now what
- 29:21Speaker 1: is this pole tells us? It tells us if you
- 29:22Speaker 1: make the election about the issues, if you make the
- 29:25Speaker 1: elections about the economy, if you make the elections about
- 29:31Speaker 1: these things, which is exactly what these candidates are doing,
- 29:35Speaker 1: you can have grand success on election day. But if
- 29:39Speaker 1: you allow the left to make this election about MAGA
- 29:42Speaker 1: and domestic terrorism and Donald Trump and Marlago, it inspires
- 29:48Speaker 1: a left to show up and vote. It inspires those
- 29:52Speaker 1: in the middle to get involved in the process. These
- 29:56Speaker 1: are the stories we need to be telling about the
- 30:00Speaker 1: extremism of the Democratic Party. Representative to lead should be right,
- 30:05Speaker 1: says well the quiet part out loud that we've all
- 30:08Speaker 1: known for a long time about Israel. She said in
- 30:12Speaker 1: an actual video this week. This is a Congress one
- 30:15Speaker 1: of the Democratic Party that you can't support Israel period. Yes,
- 30:20Speaker 1: this is anti Semitism at its finest from the Democratic Party.
- 30:25Speaker 1: These are the things we need to be reminding people
- 30:27Speaker 1: of I want you all to know that among progressives
- 30:32Speaker 1: has become clear that you cannot claim to hold progressive
- 30:34Speaker 1: values yet back Israel's Aparteipe government. And we will continue
- 30:40Speaker 1: to push back and not accept this idea that you
- 30:45Speaker 1: are progressive, progressive except for full esteem any longer. There
- 30:50Speaker 1: it is, yes. I want you all to know that
- 30:53Speaker 1: among progressives has become clear that you cannot claim to
- 30:56Speaker 1: hold progressive values yet back Israel's apart government. She wants
- 31:01Speaker 1: to banish all Jews and put them into the sea.
- 31:05Speaker 1: She wants to kill them all. She says, we will
- 31:08Speaker 1: continue to push back and not accept the idea that
- 31:10Speaker 1: you are a progressive accept for Palestine any longer. So
- 31:15Speaker 1: there you go. We hate, we hate the Jews. We
- 31:20Speaker 1: want to push them into the sea. That is the
- 31:22Speaker 1: Democratic Party. This is what we should be telling people.
- 31:27Speaker 1: You have baby formula that is still gone. You have
- 31:31Speaker 1: mothers saying that they are in depression because they can't
- 31:34Speaker 1: find it, and the cost has gone to above fifty
- 31:37Speaker 1: dollars a can you have a rand that is on
- 31:41Speaker 1: the verge weeks away. I'm gonna quote Andrew Mitchell, hard
- 31:45Speaker 1: core liberal at NBC News, the fact that we are
- 31:48Speaker 1: weeks away from them, referring to ir Ran having enough
- 31:51Speaker 1: nuclear fuel for these weapons, when we had at least
- 31:56Speaker 1: eyes on it was a imperfect deal, but at least
- 31:58Speaker 1: we had eyes on and now where the verge? But
- 32:00Speaker 1: what are they really talking about women's rights? Yes, that's
- 32:03Speaker 1: what we have to do. We got to support women's rights,
- 32:05Speaker 1: whether they're being stamped on. So let's not talk about
- 32:08Speaker 1: the national security threat here. You've got chief Economic Advisors
- 32:14Speaker 1: and the Fed Chairman agreeing that there we are in
- 32:17Speaker 1: a violent economy right now, that it is going to
- 32:21Speaker 1: create a very high risk of a major recession in
- 32:24Speaker 1: this country because the Feds have had to hike interest
- 32:28Speaker 1: rates by zero point seventy five percent to help tame inflation,
- 32:31Speaker 1: and that doesn't seem to be working. That's what this
- 32:36Speaker 1: is about. The Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell saying people
- 32:41Speaker 1: are seeing their wages increase eating up by inflation. It
- 32:43Speaker 1: needs to be played by every person running for office
- 32:46Speaker 1: all over the country on TV and remind them that
- 32:48Speaker 1: these are the policies of the Biden administration. People are
- 32:52Speaker 1: seeing their wage increases, their wage increases eaten up by inflation.
- 32:57Speaker 1: So if your family is one where you spend most
- 33:00Speaker 1: of your paycheck every paycheck cycle on gas, food, transportation, clothing,
- 33:06Speaker 1: basics of life, and prices go up the way they've
- 33:10Speaker 1: been going up, you're in trouble right away. You don't
- 33:12Speaker 1: have a cushion, and this is very painful for people
- 33:16Speaker 1: at the lower end of the income and wealth spectrum.
- 33:18Speaker 1: So that's what we're hearing from people is you know
- 33:21Speaker 1: very much that inflation is really hurting. If that's not enough,
- 33:26Speaker 1: let me just leave you with this. There was a
- 33:29Speaker 1: man this week who drove over a Republican teen and
- 33:34Speaker 1: admitted he doesn't want to lose his job, right his life,
- 33:40Speaker 1: his house because of bond problems. So this forty one
- 33:44Speaker 1: year old man who admitted to murdering a Republican teenager
- 33:48Speaker 1: over politics at the start of the week said this
- 33:51Speaker 1: week in court that he didn't want to lose things
- 33:52Speaker 1: his life due to bond because of the charges. Shannon,
- 33:57Speaker 1: that's the dude's name, was charged with the vehicular homicide
- 34:01Speaker 1: not murder, and leaving the scene of a crash involving
- 34:04Speaker 1: a death after he hit and killed a young man
- 34:09Speaker 1: on Sunday, But that sink in the motive, simple motive.
- 34:21Speaker 1: This dude didn't like the politics of the team, thought
- 34:26Speaker 1: he was a conservative. The man said he had a
- 34:32Speaker 1: tough time understanding the charges against him and the killing
- 34:35Speaker 1: of an eighteen year old saying I've got a job
- 34:38Speaker 1: of life, a house and things I don't want to
- 34:39Speaker 1: see go to the wayside. Family that are very important
- 34:42Speaker 1: to me, is what he told the judgments court filing.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Citing court documents, the man told police a deathtin from
- 34:50Speaker 1: an argument over politics. But yes, remember where the extremists
- 34:54Speaker 1: on the right, right, where the maga Republicans are domestic terrorists.
- 35:00Speaker 1: This dude killed an eighteen year old over a fight
- 35:05Speaker 1: with politics. The man was drunk, and he claimed the
- 35:11Speaker 1: eighteen year old was part of a Republican extremist group
- 35:14Speaker 1: who was urging others to attack the man after a
- 35:18Speaker 1: political argument. The man even admitted to striking the pedestrian
- 35:22Speaker 1: with his car because he had a political problem with
- 35:26Speaker 1: the pedestrian, believe that the pedestrian was calling people to
- 35:29Speaker 1: come get him. He admitted to leaving the scene of
- 35:33Speaker 1: the incident, returning shortly after where he called nine one one.
- 35:39Speaker 1: This is the left. You want to know what this
- 35:41Speaker 1: election is about? This is it. This is the election,
- 35:46Speaker 1: not all the other crap they're trying to distract you with.
- 35:49Speaker 1: So don't forget how we win and we better not
- 35:53Speaker 1: screw this up. Please make sure you share this podcast.
- 35:57Speaker 1: It's an important one on how we win the midterms.
- 36:00Speaker 1: Make sure other people hear it. These are the stories
- 36:03Speaker 1: that matter, This is what we should be talking about.
- 36:06Speaker 1: And I will see you back here tomorrow
