- 0:00Speaker 1: As we are just hours away from the polls opening
- 0:02Speaker 1: on election Day and all time record high early voting
- 0:06Speaker 1: numbers that have already come in. The question many are
- 0:10Speaker 1: asking is should I get up tomorrow and should I
- 0:14Speaker 1: make time to go vote. It is a question that
- 0:18Speaker 1: many Americans are going to be asked themselves in the
- 0:21Speaker 1: next few hours as they go to sleep. Should we
- 0:25Speaker 1: vote tomorrow, honey or dear? Or should they call a
- 0:28Speaker 1: friend and go vote? Do you want to stand in line?
- 0:32Speaker 1: Is it actually worth it? Well, let's start with a
- 0:36Speaker 1: reminder of where we are now and why your vote
- 0:39Speaker 1: now may matter more than you actually ever realized. Inflation
- 0:44Speaker 1: is the number one issue. It is the economy. I
- 0:47Speaker 1: keep saying it over and over again. It is the economy, stupid.
- 0:51Speaker 1: And if you're still really not sure whether you should
- 0:53Speaker 1: vote or not, then maybe this will help. Energy prices
- 0:58Speaker 1: are up thirty four point three percent compared to where
- 1:02Speaker 1: they were under Donald Trump. The price of gas up
- 1:07Speaker 1: thirty eight point two percent under Harris and Biden, electricity
- 1:12Speaker 1: up thirty one point three percent under Harris and Biden,
- 1:16Speaker 1: fuel oil up thirty seven point four percent under Harris
- 1:22Speaker 1: and Biden. Natural gas Going into election day up twenty
- 1:26Speaker 1: four percent, Transportation up thirty one percent, new cars up
- 1:32Speaker 1: over twenty percent, car insurance up fifty six and a
- 1:36Speaker 1: half percent. Airline tickets are up twenty four point five percent.
- 1:45Speaker 1: Hotel is up more than forty two percent, the cost
- 1:48Speaker 1: to stay in a hotel. Groceries, depending on where you live,
- 1:53Speaker 1: up as much as thirty percent. You want to know
- 1:56Speaker 1: how much eggs cost you now compared to when Donald
- 1:59Speaker 1: Trump was president? Seventy percent up right now? Breakfast cereal
- 2:06Speaker 1: up twenty two percent. Margarine because apparently you can't afford
- 2:10Speaker 1: butter right now it's so expensive, is up fifty four percent.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Dried beans, peas, lentils up twenty three percent, frozen vegetables
- 2:23Speaker 1: up twenty seven percent. You want to bake a cake?
- 2:27Speaker 1: This reminds me of the Great Depression. Flour up thirty
- 2:32Speaker 1: five point eight percent, peanut butter up forty two percent,
- 2:37Speaker 1: Coffee up twenty to thirty percent, depending on where you live.
- 2:42Speaker 1: And then let's talk about your kids. Where are we
- 2:45Speaker 1: now compared to where we were the last day Trump
- 2:48Speaker 1: was in office? Food at pre case. At schools, I
- 2:52Speaker 1: should say, kindergarten through twelfth grade up seventy percent if
- 2:58Speaker 1: you don't like kids, you like pets, maybe you're the
- 3:01Speaker 1: crazy woman with cats. Your pet food is up more
- 3:05Speaker 1: than twenty four percent, and clothing skyrocketing depending on which category,
- 3:11Speaker 1: between fifteen percent to fifty percent. Non prescription drugs, tail
- 3:17Speaker 1: and al Advil, alive, Tom's basic things like that up
- 3:23Speaker 1: over sixteen point six percent. This is where we are
- 3:28Speaker 1: right now when it comes to the issue of inflation. Now,
- 3:33Speaker 1: if that's not enough to wake you up, let's talk
- 3:35Speaker 1: about what's happening with the economy and you providing for
- 3:38Speaker 1: your family. Last month, only twelve thousand new jobs were added.
- 3:45Speaker 1: The estimates were supposed to be one hundred and thirteen
- 3:48Speaker 1: thousand jobs that were added. The jobs the worst jobs
- 3:53Speaker 1: report we've had in the history of the Biden Harris administration,
- 3:58Speaker 1: meaning things are getting even worse. They also lied about
- 4:03Speaker 1: the number of jobs that were added earlier this month
- 4:07Speaker 1: and last month and the month before, as eight hundred
- 4:11Speaker 1: thousand jobs disappeared, meaning they never were filled by Americans,
- 4:16Speaker 1: and the federal government lied to you. Let's talk about
- 4:20Speaker 1: crime real quick. We had more illegal immigrants coming into
- 4:24Speaker 1: the country last month than jobs were created, and there
- 4:27Speaker 1: are many illegal immigrants that are coming into this country
- 4:30Speaker 1: that are committing heinous crimes. Yes, Kamala har is silent
- 4:35Speaker 1: on the crime in this country because she doesn't want
- 4:38Speaker 1: you to know that there are a significant number of
- 4:43Speaker 1: people that are on the terrorist watch lists that have
- 4:45Speaker 1: come across our southern border. There are tens of thousands
- 4:50Speaker 1: of convicted rapists and convicted murderers that will be the
- 4:55Speaker 1: first to be deported if Donald Trump is elected. That
- 4:58Speaker 1: she doesn't want to admit her open borders have allowed
- 5:01Speaker 1: into this country. We also have another issue that has
- 5:06Speaker 1: now come to light, and they've been lying about the
- 5:09Speaker 1: housing numbers. The American dream for many Americans is to
- 5:16Speaker 1: own a home. There is a Harris housing crisis and
- 5:20Speaker 1: first time buyers have now fallen into a new record low.
- 5:26Speaker 1: This breaking as I am recording this right now. The
- 5:31Speaker 1: share of home purchases made by first time home buyers
- 5:35Speaker 1: fell to the lowest level on record in history this
- 5:38Speaker 1: year as many younger Americans were priced out of the
- 5:42Speaker 1: market by home price inflation. Then, on top of that,
- 5:48Speaker 1: the high interest rates that have skyrocket on home ownership
- 5:51Speaker 1: under Harris and Biden because of inflation and the cost
- 5:57Speaker 1: of living increases that I just mentioned before. First time buyers, unfortunately,
- 6:04Speaker 1: now have made up just twenty four percent of purchases
- 6:09Speaker 1: in twenty twenty four. That according to the National Association
- 6:13Speaker 1: of Realtors, That is the lowest mark since the National
- 6:18Speaker 1: Association of Relators began collecting data back in nineteen eighty one.
- 6:23Speaker 2: That would be forty two years ago.
- 6:26Speaker 1: So for all of the data that's ever been collected
- 6:29Speaker 1: on home buyers, first time home buyers are at the
- 6:32Speaker 1: lowest level since data was collected in nineteen eighty one,
- 6:37Speaker 1: that was the year that I was born. It also
- 6:41Speaker 1: marks a steep decline from last year, where first time
- 6:45Speaker 1: buyers made up thirty three percent of purchases. During Donald
- 6:49Speaker 1: Trump's presidency, you want to know what the average was
- 6:53Speaker 1: more than thirty three percent, because we had low prices
- 6:59Speaker 1: and low interrs and it allowed for Americans to actually
- 7:03Speaker 1: experience the American dream. The median first time buyer age
- 7:09Speaker 1: has also jumped to thirty eight years old this year
- 7:13Speaker 1: from just thirty five years old last year. That is
- 7:17Speaker 1: the largest increase year over year in the age gap
- 7:21Speaker 1: in this country for first time home buyers. So if
- 7:25Speaker 1: Harris is the president, the average age you're going to
- 7:29Speaker 1: find out for a first time home buyer in her
- 7:31Speaker 1: administration will be forty years old to buy your first home.
- 7:36Speaker 1: That would be the median age, meaning fifty percent will
- 7:38Speaker 1: be above forty the first time they ever own their home.
- 7:42Speaker 1: During Trump's presidency, that number was all the way down
- 7:45Speaker 1: to thirty three years old.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Quote.
- 7:49Speaker 1: The US housing market is split into two groups, first
- 7:52Speaker 1: time home buyers struggling to enter the market and current
- 7:56Speaker 1: homeowners buying with cash. That is what the National Association
- 8:01Speaker 1: of Realtors said in a statement, saying first time buyers
- 8:04Speaker 1: are now facing high home prices, high mortgage interest rates,
- 8:10Speaker 1: limited inventory, making them a decade older with significantly higher
- 8:17Speaker 1: incomes than previous generations to buy a home. So, in
- 8:22Speaker 1: other words, you have to wait another decade to buy
- 8:25Speaker 1: a house under the Harris regime. If that doesn't wake
- 8:30Speaker 1: you up and make you want to go to the polls,
- 8:33Speaker 1: I don't know what does. But that's not the only
- 8:36Speaker 1: problem that this administration has. And if you want to
- 8:39Speaker 1: know why you should wake up and go vote, and
- 8:42Speaker 1: why you should call a friend and go vote, it's
- 8:44Speaker 1: not even just these issues I've laid out for you,
- 8:47Speaker 1: but it's also the issue of crime. In our cities.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Violent criminals have taken over so many of our cities.
- 8:56Speaker 1: You have activist das that are refusing to act actually
- 9:01Speaker 1: go after criminals they're committing heinous crimes. This is part
- 9:05Speaker 1: of the radical left's agenda to empty the jails, to
- 9:09Speaker 1: have bail reform, prison reform, and not hold people accountable
- 9:12Speaker 1: for their actions. This is part of the defund the
- 9:16Speaker 1: police movement that is very much a part of Harris
- 9:19Speaker 1: and Biden and their administration. She is in favor of
- 9:22Speaker 1: bail reform. Bail reform means if you don't have money
- 9:25Speaker 1: because you're quote poor, we don't keep you in jail,
- 9:28Speaker 1: no matter how heinous your crime is. This is also
- 9:31Speaker 1: about making sure we don't put people in jail that
- 9:34Speaker 1: commit Hannes' crimes. That's part of prison reform as they
- 9:38Speaker 1: describe it. But there is also another problem. The number
- 9:42Speaker 1: of illegal immigrants have come across the southern border because
- 9:46Speaker 1: of the wide open borders, and this administration just doesn't care.
- 9:51Speaker 1: Take a listen to the local news covering this issue.
- 9:54Speaker 1: They don't spend much time on it. This story just
- 9:56Speaker 1: twenty seconds long, and tell me if this is a
- 10:00Speaker 1: bigger issue than twenty seconds of local media attention and
- 10:04Speaker 1: no national media attention at all.
- 10:07Speaker 3: This morning, This Westbury man here on your screen. He's
- 10:10Speaker 3: accused of raping a five year old girl. Detective Say
- 10:13Speaker 3: Wilson Castillo Diaz assaulted the girl about two weeks ago.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Polly Say, the twenty six year old entered the country
- 10:20Speaker 3: illegally back in twenty fourteen, was arrested and released, but
- 10:24Speaker 3: never showed up for his immigration hearing. We're told ICE
- 10:27Speaker 3: has been notified about this. Police are not asking anyone
- 10:30Speaker 3: who believes that they may be a victim to give
- 10:32Speaker 3: them a call.
- 10:34Speaker 1: This crime has become so common that even on the
- 10:37Speaker 1: local news twelve there in Long Island, they only gave
- 10:40Speaker 1: it twenty seconds of airtime of an illegal immigrant raping
- 10:44Speaker 1: a five year old and saying, by the way, if
- 10:47Speaker 1: anyone else has been raped by this man, please call
- 10:50Speaker 1: the authorities. This is an illegal immigrant that came into
- 10:53Speaker 1: this country illegally, who raped this five year old. And
- 10:57Speaker 1: they say, hey, sorry, it is what it is.
- 11:00Speaker 2: It is.
- 11:01Speaker 1: How about a Honduran illegal immigrant? And again, this is
- 11:04Speaker 1: not in a border city. These are happening in other
- 11:07Speaker 1: towns all over the country that are not bordered towns.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Here's another story for you night.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Law enforcement sources confirmed to Fox forty five the suspected killer,
- 11:17Speaker 2: identified as an alleged MS thirteen gang member, is also
- 11:21Speaker 2: just sixteen.
- 11:22Speaker 4: That's right, and let's go straight to Fox forty five
- 11:24Speaker 4: for Rebecca Prior. She joins US Live with some new
- 11:26Speaker 4: details and explains why the team is wanted by both
- 11:29Speaker 4: local and federal authorities. Rebecca, Hey, Mary, and Kay. It
- 11:34Speaker 4: is a case that is now highlighting the state's ongoing
- 11:37Speaker 4: challenges with youth violence and now immigration issues. Today, federal
- 11:42Speaker 4: officials telling Fox forty five that the teenage murder suspect
- 11:46Speaker 4: is believed to be a Hondura's national living in the
- 11:49Speaker 4: country illegally. Take a look. This is what he looks like.
- 11:52Speaker 4: This afternoon, Baltimore County Police releasing sixteen year old Brian
- 11:56Speaker 4: Rodriguez's photo asking for the public's help tracking him down.
- 12:00Speaker 4: He's wanted in connection to a deadly shooting that took
- 12:02Speaker 4: place on Sunday at the Ramada Hotel in Pikesville. Hotel
- 12:06Speaker 4: staff telling Fox forty five it was a group of
- 12:08Speaker 4: teenagers that were inside of one of the rooms when
- 12:11Speaker 4: gunfire rang out around two PM, striking another sixteen year
- 12:15Speaker 4: old who later died at the hospital. According to law
- 12:17Speaker 4: enforcement sources, Fox forty five confirming Rodriguez is an alleged
- 12:22Speaker 4: MS thirteen gang member and accused of entering the US
- 12:25Speaker 4: illegally in twenty eighteen, making him the target of local
- 12:28Speaker 4: police and federal immigration agents. For now, it's unclear if
- 12:32Speaker 4: this was his first alleged offense. For the past three days,
- 12:35Speaker 4: Fox forty five has been asking police and DJs if
- 12:38Speaker 4: this is their first encounter with Rodriguez and if he
- 12:41Speaker 4: was under DJs monitoring at the time of the shooting.
- 12:44Speaker 4: So far, police have not responded to the questions directly
- 12:46Speaker 4: in DJs claims that they can't comment on individual cases
- 12:50Speaker 4: beyond knowns and ongoing manhunt putting County residents we spoke
- 12:54Speaker 4: with on Edge this.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Evening, continuing on the lines of this juvenile crime that
- 13:00Speaker 5: we're seeing that that's just more violent.
- 13:03Speaker 6: That makes me a concern for my lemon year old.
- 13:05Speaker 6: I worry about his safety and all the kids safety
- 13:09Speaker 6: that I know, and anybody because they could have missed
- 13:13Speaker 6: that person and hit somebody else.
- 13:16Speaker 5: Again.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Police are encouraging anyone with any information into this case
- 13:19Speaker 4: to come forward, but warn that this suspect should not
- 13:22Speaker 4: be approached. If you see him, call nine one one.
- 13:25Speaker 4: Police are also offering a two thousand dollars reward for
- 13:29Speaker 4: any information that could lead to an arrest.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Now I play you that story because I also know
- 13:35Speaker 1: what the left is going to say. You can't deport children.
- 13:39Speaker 1: This murderer, this MS thirteen gang member with sixteen, that's
- 13:43Speaker 1: a child. This is what is coming into this country.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Are you telling me that a sixteen year old MS
- 13:51Speaker 1: thirteen gang member shouldn't be deported from this country? Because
- 13:55Speaker 1: they're gonna make you want to cry and talk about
- 13:57Speaker 1: how evil conservatives are that we want to start deporting people.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Let me tell you, I want to deport every sixteen
- 14:03Speaker 1: year old military aged man seventeen or eighteen, get them
- 14:07Speaker 1: the hell out of this country, and allow for people
- 14:10Speaker 1: to come this country the legal, in correct way. We
- 14:13Speaker 1: should not allow for illegal immigrants to come into this
- 14:16Speaker 1: country the way that we have it now, especially with
- 14:19Speaker 1: a number of gangs and the number of rapists and
- 14:22Speaker 1: the number of convicted murderers that we've allowed into this country.
- 14:27Speaker 1: But you want to know what our government's doing, You
- 14:29Speaker 1: want to know what the Harris and Biden administration. You're
- 14:31Speaker 1: doing you know to know what liberals are doing right now, Well,
- 14:33Speaker 1: these types of heinous crimes are being committed. They're going
- 14:37Speaker 1: in and raiding the homes of Internet sensations that have
- 14:43Speaker 1: a pet squirrel.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I wish I was joking, I'm not.
- 14:49Speaker 1: And this is exactly when you know your government is
- 14:51Speaker 1: no longer working for you, but a government that believes
- 14:55Speaker 1: that they own you, and a government believes that they
- 14:58Speaker 1: can take anything they want from you. You may not
- 15:01Speaker 1: have heard about this story, or maybe you have, but
- 15:04Speaker 1: I think it's a perfect way to put this election
- 15:07Speaker 1: into perspective.
- 15:10Speaker 2: There was a squirrel, a.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Squirrel I can't even believe him having this conversation that
- 15:16Speaker 1: was an Internet sensation, had its own Instagram page help
- 15:20Speaker 1: raise money for other animals, and peanut the squirrel was
- 15:25Speaker 1: clearly being well taken care of by a family. This
- 15:31Speaker 1: squirrel has been euthanized after there was a raid on
- 15:35Speaker 1: the home of the owner of this squirrel, who also
- 15:37Speaker 1: had a quote pet raccoon, and high profile conservatives and
- 15:44Speaker 1: Trumps supporters, including Elon Namusk, have galvanized around the death
- 15:48Speaker 1: of this Internet famous squirrel. Following New York State's Authority's
- 15:53Speaker 1: decision to euthanize the animal, using this incident to make
- 15:58Speaker 1: the perfect point that this is extreme government overreached just
- 16:03Speaker 1: one day before the election. A government that goes after
- 16:09Speaker 1: the owner of a pet squirrel, a pet squirrel that
- 16:12Speaker 1: in every video you can clearly tell is being well
- 16:15Speaker 1: taken care of and is helping raise money for other animals.
- 16:20Speaker 1: And you go in and you raith the homeowner of
- 16:25Speaker 1: this squirrel because you want to show them that you're
- 16:27Speaker 1: the government, and then you euthanize this pet squirrel. This
- 16:33Speaker 1: tells you how you know the government is not working
- 16:36Speaker 1: for you. Newsweek had this headline, how Peanut the squirrel
- 16:41Speaker 1: became the center of a MAGA firestorm. Yeah, because we
- 16:44Speaker 1: understand when government is out of control. They're not rating
- 16:48Speaker 1: the home of MS thirteen gang members. They're not raiding
- 16:50Speaker 1: the home of child rapists or murderers. They're not raiding
- 16:53Speaker 1: the homes of those they're committing hands crimes. No, they're
- 16:56Speaker 1: raiding the home of former presidents like Donald Trump, his allies,
- 17:01Speaker 1: and a dude that has a pet squirrel.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Newsweek put it this way.
- 17:06Speaker 1: The decision of New York Wildlife officials to euthanize a
- 17:09Speaker 1: squirrel named Peanut who was famous on social media, has
- 17:12Speaker 1: ignited a firestorm response from MAGA Republicans claiming government overreach.
- 17:17Speaker 1: If this isn't government overreach, I don't know what is.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Peanut and his owner, a thirty four year old a
- 17:24Speaker 1: guy by the name of Mark, was devastated when New
- 17:26Speaker 1: York State officials seized and euthanized the squirrel, as well
- 17:31Speaker 1: as fred, a raccoon that he had rescued. The authorities
- 17:35Speaker 1: came to his Pine City, New York home after an
- 17:37Speaker 1: anonymous complaint about the animal's quote living conditions. The two
- 17:42Speaker 1: animals were featured on the Instagram account Peanut the Squirrel
- 17:45Speaker 1: This Guy Wasn't Hiding It, which currently had six hundred
- 17:48Speaker 1: ninety two thousand followers. The man who cared for Peanut
- 17:52Speaker 1: for seven years after he rescued the squirrel after witnessing
- 17:56Speaker 1: its mother being struck by a car in New York City.
- 18:00Speaker 1: Instagram page included videos of the squirrel doing tricks. On Friday,
- 18:04Speaker 1: the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, a part
- 18:08Speaker 1: of the state's government, they seized the raccoon and the
- 18:13Speaker 1: squirrel sharing a residence with humans, creating the potential for
- 18:16Speaker 1: human exposure to rabies, they claimed. In addition, a person
- 18:20Speaker 1: involved with the investigation was bitten by the squirrel. They said, well, yeah,
- 18:23Speaker 1: you're stealing it away from its family to test for rabies.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Both animals were quote unquote ethanized. The animals are being
- 18:30Speaker 1: tested for rabies, and anyone who had been in contact
- 18:32Speaker 1: with these animals is strongly encouraged to quote consult their physician,
- 18:38Speaker 1: they claim. They added that the County Department of Health
- 18:42Speaker 1: and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation are
- 18:45Speaker 1: coordinating to ensure the protection of public health related to
- 18:48Speaker 1: the illegal possession of wild animals that had the potential
- 18:52Speaker 1: to carry the rabies virus. On Sunday, former President Trump
- 18:57Speaker 1: running mate JD. Vance sold a crowd a Stanford, North
- 19:00Speaker 1: Carolina rally that Trump was fired up about the death
- 19:03Speaker 1: of the squirrel. He was like, you know, it's really
- 19:05Speaker 1: the case that the Democrats murdered the Elon Musk of squirrels,
- 19:09Speaker 1: Vance added, tech billionaire Musk, who was endorsing Donald Trump,
- 19:14Speaker 1: wrote on as this vote for peanut, vote for liberty,
- 19:20Speaker 1: for freedom. The post has now been viewed more than
- 19:23Speaker 1: thirty five million times and has garnered over two hundred
- 19:26Speaker 1: and fifty five thousand likes. You want to know why.
- 19:29Speaker 1: This is the sad part about this closing argument about
- 19:32Speaker 1: why you shoot up and vote, Because we have a
- 19:35Speaker 1: government now that will raid the home of a dude
- 19:38Speaker 1: that had a pet that became famous, But they won't
- 19:42Speaker 1: raid the home of the terrorists that are on the
- 19:45Speaker 1: terrorists watch lists that have broken into this country, the
- 19:47Speaker 1: MS thirteen gang members that are taking over apartment complexes
- 19:51Speaker 1: and breaking into homes. They won't raid into the homes
- 19:54Speaker 1: of squatters who have taken over the homes of American
- 19:56Speaker 1: citizens Because they don't care about you. They do care
- 20:01Speaker 1: about controlling you. They care about controlling every aspect of
- 20:06Speaker 1: your life. This is what dictators and tyrants do. They
- 20:12Speaker 1: try to control every aspect of your life. We are
- 20:18Speaker 1: less than twenty four hours away from election day, voting beginning.
- 20:24Speaker 2: The question is what does it look like now nationwide?
- 20:27Speaker 1: Does it look across the state, and what can you
- 20:30Speaker 1: expect tomorrow and how important is for you to go
- 20:32Speaker 1: and vote. Joining me now to talk about this is
- 20:35Speaker 1: US Senator Marsha Blackburn from Tennessee.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Senator always a pleasure to chat with you.
- 20:40Speaker 1: I've got a lot of questions for you this morning
- 20:43Speaker 1: that many Americans I know are worried about. So let's
- 20:46Speaker 1: start at the national level. You obviously are tight with
- 20:50Speaker 1: Donald Trump involved with the campaign. What is your gut
- 20:54Speaker 1: going in tomorrow with the presidential and then we're going
- 20:56Speaker 1: to work our way down.
- 20:58Speaker 5: Yes, and the press event has done well in polling.
- 21:02Speaker 5: We know that he gets a vote total higher than
- 21:06Speaker 5: what he polls, and we are excited for him for tomorrow.
- 21:12Speaker 5: He is in good spirit. He is campaigning up to
- 21:16Speaker 5: the last minute, and you're going to see him give
- 21:20Speaker 5: it all the energy he's got.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Let's talk about Tennessee and the issues here are affecting people.
- 21:29Speaker 1: What is going to drive people the polls. I think
- 21:32Speaker 1: it's the economy. I go back to, it's the economy stupid.
- 21:35Speaker 1: It's the economy stupid. It's the economy stupid. That's what
- 21:37Speaker 1: matters to Tennesseeans the most. Is the economy first and foremost.
- 21:42Speaker 1: And we saw these shocking numbers that the lowest job
- 21:46Speaker 1: creation was in October. There were more legal immigrants that
- 21:51Speaker 1: came to this country than Americans got jobs. They were
- 21:54Speaker 1: expecting one hundred and thirteen thousand jobs to be added.
- 21:57Speaker 1: Only twelve thousand were added. That's the lowest month ever
- 22:01Speaker 1: for Biden Harris with Bidenomics and Harris's agenda, and that
- 22:05Speaker 1: is affecting Tennesseeans in a very big way.
- 22:08Speaker 5: You're right about that. And the economy and inflation, You're
- 22:13Speaker 5: exactly right. That is issue number one. And as we
- 22:16Speaker 5: are in and out of each of our ninety five counties,
- 22:20Speaker 5: that is what we are hearing. This inflation rate. You know,
- 22:24Speaker 5: when you look at the fact that when Donald Trump
- 22:27Speaker 5: left office, inflation was one point four percent, and today
- 22:32Speaker 5: that cumulative inflation rate is twenty and a half percent.
- 22:36Speaker 5: Tennessees are Tennesseeans are spending oney twenty three dollars more
- 22:43Speaker 5: each month to buy the same basket of goods that
- 22:47Speaker 5: they were buying in October of twenty twenty. That is
- 22:50Speaker 5: the impact of Biden Harris and their economic policies which
- 22:56Speaker 5: are not working for hardworking people.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Your website, one of the things I found was very
- 23:03Speaker 1: interesting on there was that you have the US national
- 23:06Speaker 1: debt cock up. I haven't seen that on many other
- 23:10Speaker 1: campaign websites, and it says and you have up there
- 23:12Speaker 1: with the US debt now thirty four plus trillion, it's
- 23:15Speaker 1: now thirty five trillion and soaring. You are committed ending
- 23:20Speaker 1: the Democratic debt disaster. What would change if the Republicans
- 23:25Speaker 1: gain control of the Senate. Obviously Democrats doing everything they
- 23:29Speaker 1: can to make sure that doesn't happen, But there hasn't
- 23:32Speaker 1: been a lot of indications in the past, and this
- 23:34Speaker 1: is a criticism of Conservatives, that we've done enough to
- 23:37Speaker 1: stop out of control government spending. Do you believe there's
- 23:41Speaker 1: a political willpower there now that if Republicans get control
- 23:44Speaker 1: of the Senate, that will actually be able to do
- 23:47Speaker 1: something about the national debt.
- 23:49Speaker 5: I do think you'll see something done about the national debt.
- 23:53Speaker 5: And then, as you said, this is something that is
- 23:56Speaker 5: just racing now with President Donald Trump, you will see
- 24:01Speaker 5: day one action that would freeze federal spending, federal hiring,
- 24:05Speaker 5: federal salaries, and then you would start to work it
- 24:10Speaker 5: down from there. Of course, as you know, I do
- 24:13Speaker 5: three pieces of legislation every year. One that calls for
- 24:17Speaker 5: a one percent across the board spending cut, which is
- 24:22Speaker 5: what is referred to many times as the Penny Plan,
- 24:26Speaker 5: another a two percent, and the third one is a
- 24:29Speaker 5: five percent across the board spending cut. Now, if you
- 24:33Speaker 5: did that over a period of ten years, you would
- 24:38Speaker 5: get that budget close to balancing. And that's what Americans
- 24:43Speaker 5: want to see, is a balance budget. We have it
- 24:46Speaker 5: in our state, Companies that do it, families that do it,
- 24:51Speaker 5: and people want to see this spending brought under control.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Let's talk crime for a moment.
- 24:58Speaker 1: It used to be that it was a border state
- 25:00Speaker 1: issue with illegal immigrant violent crime. The headlines I read
- 25:05Speaker 1: them earlier on the show just show you how bad
- 25:08Speaker 1: it is. And this is in the last you know,
- 25:10Speaker 1: several days you had an illegal immigrant that was arrested
- 25:13Speaker 1: in New York for the rape of a five year
- 25:14Speaker 1: old child. You have a Hunduran illegal immigrant and an
- 25:17Speaker 1: MS thirteen gang member on the run after shooting at
- 25:21Speaker 1: a Maryland hotel that left another team dead. This is
- 25:24Speaker 1: and I go far away to prove you know, New
- 25:27Speaker 1: York is not by the border. Maryland's not by the border.
- 25:31Speaker 1: We have real problems in Tennessee as well with illegal
- 25:33Speaker 1: immigrants that are committing crimes. What will change there as
- 25:38Speaker 1: well if we actually get a Republican majority and Donald
- 25:41Speaker 1: Trump elected.
- 25:42Speaker 5: But you'll see as attention to actually securing that border.
- 25:46Speaker 5: Kamala Harris's border policy has been an open border, and
- 25:51Speaker 5: she would continue that. You know, they have done everything
- 25:55Speaker 5: they could possibly do to make illegal immigration legal, and
- 26:01Speaker 5: they have turned every state into a border state, every
- 26:05Speaker 5: town into a border town, and been like you're saying,
- 26:09Speaker 5: you see these crimes that are committed far from the border,
- 26:14Speaker 5: and it is the loss of life to fentanyl and drugs.
- 26:19Speaker 5: It is angel families that have lost loved ones to
- 26:23Speaker 5: acts of violence and crime committed by people that have
- 26:27Speaker 5: illegally entered the country. And my bill, the Clear Act,
- 26:33Speaker 5: is the spot to begin because it would allow local
- 26:37Speaker 5: law enforcement to detain these criminal illegaliens and require ICE
- 26:44Speaker 5: to come and deport them. So that is the place
- 26:48Speaker 5: to start, and that is what people want to see.
- 26:52Speaker 5: The border and crime in our communities. These are top issues.
- 26:57Speaker 5: These gangs that are working in our town and cities
- 27:00Speaker 5: and recruiting kids to go out and carry out carjackings
- 27:05Speaker 5: and smash and grabs. People want to stop. They want
- 27:09Speaker 5: these individuals to be prosecuted. They want these criminal illegal
- 27:13Speaker 5: aliens removed from our communities.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Well, finally, let's talk about how the media has been
- 27:21Speaker 1: covering this election. I love that NBC News finally got busted.
- 27:24Speaker 1: They had Kama Harris on Saturday Night Live. The SEC
- 27:28Speaker 1: it was an issue with equal time. They were forced
- 27:30Speaker 1: to give Donald Trump campaign time with an ad during
- 27:34Speaker 1: NASCAR and then during Sunday Night Football. It is shocking
- 27:39Speaker 1: to see how now they're claiming that Donald Trump said
- 27:42Speaker 1: that Liz Cheney should be executed in front of a
- 27:44Speaker 1: firing squad.
- 27:45Speaker 2: It's not what he said.
- 27:46Speaker 1: I played the clip earlier, clearly not even close to
- 27:48Speaker 1: what he said. We saw water Wall coverage all weekend
- 27:51Speaker 1: on that. The closing argument for them is not the economy,
- 27:56Speaker 1: it's not national security, it's not ending the war in Ukraine,
- 27:59Speaker 1: and in the war that we're seeing with in Israel
- 28:02Speaker 1: with the terrorists that they're backing and Iran. What we're
- 28:05Speaker 1: seeing right now is they're still just going back to
- 28:08Speaker 1: the basic talking point that Orange Man is bad and
- 28:12Speaker 1: that he's a dictator and a tyrant. He wants to
- 28:14Speaker 1: kill his political opponents. Meanwhile, he's the guy the two
- 28:17Speaker 1: assassins have tried to take out in the last several months,
- 28:19Speaker 1: which the media has seemed to completely forget about.
- 28:22Speaker 5: And you're so right about that. They have nothing that
- 28:26Speaker 5: is worked. The campaign of joy evaporated before their very eyes.
- 28:32Speaker 5: People didn't buy it. So then it was going to
- 28:34Speaker 5: be let's give you twenty five thousand dollars to buy
- 28:37Speaker 5: a house, fifty thousand dollars if you'll start a small business.
- 28:42Speaker 5: That evaporated on them. They had no plan for the border.
- 28:46Speaker 5: There is no plan for how to deal with the
- 28:49Speaker 5: Middle East, or to deal with China or Russia. And
- 28:55Speaker 5: if people are saying, what is your plan, there isn't one.
- 28:58Speaker 5: So their plan is is what's a double down on smellie,
- 29:03Speaker 5: Walmart shoppers, deplorables, irredeemables, Nazi racists and fascists, and.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Crash, don't forget trash.
- 29:13Speaker 5: It's terrible. I know, we're garbage. We're just absolute garbage.
- 29:18Speaker 5: So that is their closing argument, and this is all
- 29:24Speaker 5: that they can go to because they have nothing to
- 29:27Speaker 5: offer the American people.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Final question for you.
- 29:32Speaker 1: If somebody's listening right now and they're sitting on the
- 29:34Speaker 1: fence and they're like, does my vote really matter? Show
- 29:36Speaker 1: I spend the time to vote, what would you say
- 29:39Speaker 1: to them.
- 29:40Speaker 5: Oh, number one, get to the poll and vote. It
- 29:43Speaker 5: does matter. You want President Donald Trump to win the
- 29:46Speaker 5: popular vote as well as the electoral College. And you
- 29:51Speaker 5: also want our Republican Statehouse and State Senate candidates to
- 29:56Speaker 5: window seats by comfortable majorities. Want to go back to
- 30:00Speaker 5: the US Senate. I ask for the vote of each
- 30:03Speaker 5: of your listeners, and we want to have a good
- 30:06Speaker 5: margin in my race.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Senator, always a pleasure, good luck on election day. I
- 30:12Speaker 1: have a feeling we're going to have you back right
- 30:14Speaker 1: after election day and celebrate a little bit, so good luck.
- 30:16Speaker 1: I know you're on the campaign trail and we look
- 30:18Speaker 1: forward to talking to you real soon. Make sure you
- 30:21Speaker 1: share this podcast for election Day. Please hit that share
- 30:26Speaker 1: button and let people hear the closing argument of why
- 30:30Speaker 1: it's so important to go out and vote.
