- 0:01Speaker 1: We've got two major stories that we have to deal with.
- 0:04Speaker 1: One of them involves what's happening in Israel and this
- 0:08Speaker 1: rocket that hit a hospital in Gaza. That rocket appears
- 0:13Speaker 1: to have been actually shot by Hamas and it was
- 0:16Speaker 1: some sort of misfire that then hit their own hospital,
- 0:20Speaker 1: killing countless innocent people Palestinians. This is what happens when
- 0:25Speaker 1: you are dealing with terrorists. Now we're going to talk
- 0:27Speaker 1: about that in a moment, but I also want to
- 0:29Speaker 1: get to the other issue, and that is, as of now,
- 0:31Speaker 1: we still do not have a Speaker of the House,
- 0:35Speaker 1: Representative Massey coming out after this first vote where enough
- 0:40Speaker 1: Republicans did not vote for Jim Jordan that they have
- 0:43Speaker 1: decided to adjourn until eleven Eastern vote the next day.
- 0:50Speaker 1: That's how they described it when it was all said
- 0:52Speaker 1: and done. Now there will be a vote on Wednesday
- 0:56Speaker 1: at eleven now, and originally what they were going to
- 0:59Speaker 1: do is just keep voting and voting very much like
- 1:02Speaker 1: they did last time, to give Kevin McCarthy finally the speakership.
- 1:05Speaker 1: They decided not to do that. Now, let me let
- 1:08Speaker 1: you hear what represented mass he said as he was
- 1:10Speaker 1: walking out the Capitol as they have basically adjourned till
- 1:13Speaker 1: Wednesday at eleven eastern, tenth central.
- 1:17Speaker 2: This chamber, Jim, are you able to govern?
- 1:20Speaker 3: I think we'll get to a speaker soon.
- 1:23Speaker 4: All soon.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Jordan to is a differentnommy. I guess that. You know what,
- 1:29Speaker 3: there's no Paul Ryan in this race.
- 1:32Speaker 5: If you remember back when when Kevin McCarthy decided not
- 1:36Speaker 5: to run after running for a while, they brought Paul
- 1:39Speaker 5: Ryan up and he had a good brand nationally, and
- 1:43Speaker 5: he had a decent inside game and he could raise money.
- 1:46Speaker 3: It's but there's no Paul Ryan. There is no close
- 1:49Speaker 3: second to Jim Jordan.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Now, if Jim Jordan doesn't make it, are we now
- 1:53Speaker 2: then we're talking about it's it.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Gets more complicated. I think I do think Jim Jordan's
- 1:59Speaker 3: gonna make it this week.
- 2:00Speaker 6: If he doesn't, do you see McCarthy making a comeback
- 2:03Speaker 6: or Mr being sort of the next guy with his
- 2:05Speaker 6: hat the ring He got em a gotta vote.
- 2:07Speaker 7: McCarthy got a lot of some votes.
- 2:09Speaker 4: You gotta vote.
- 2:09Speaker 5: Gottes mean just because you gotta vote doesn't mean you're
- 2:13Speaker 5: gonna be speaker?
- 2:14Speaker 3: Does I'll throw my name in Cathy.
- 2:16Speaker 6: People talk about from the speakership and twenty say.
- 2:20Speaker 7: You know no to Jordan right now, Like Kevin McCarthy
- 2:23Speaker 7: is behind Jim Jordan, and he's he's got a lot
- 2:26Speaker 7: of people who were going to vote for him today
- 2:29Speaker 7: who he talked to that didn't, and I think he'll
- 2:32Speaker 7: talk to the ones who did.
- 2:33Speaker 3: And at some point, if Scalisee is.
- 2:35Speaker 5: Voting for Jim Jordan and Kevin McCarthy is voting for
- 2:37Speaker 5: Jim Jordan, you look kind of silly to vote for them.
- 2:41Speaker 6: Do you think there's some deals he can start cutting with,
- 2:44Speaker 6: Like the New York Delegation, a lot of votes there.
- 2:47Speaker 6: They want salts with taxably things about.
- 2:52Speaker 5: This is the reason Jim Jordan is the only viable
- 2:55Speaker 5: speaker candidate we have. He's the only one who can
- 2:57Speaker 5: get elected without cutting deals everybody.
- 3:00Speaker 3: And that was the demise of Kevin McCarthy.
- 3:03Speaker 5: And I supported Kevin McCarthy, but he had so many
- 3:07Speaker 5: arrangements and deals that they became almost mutually exclusive. But
- 3:12Speaker 5: Jim Jordan has gotten this far without a single deal,
- 3:16Speaker 5: and he's got a plan to keep us from getting
- 3:17Speaker 5: into a shutdown, and he's the only one who can
- 3:20Speaker 5: reset the expectations that had been set earlier with conservatives,
- 3:25Speaker 5: and that's why I think he's the only viable candidate
- 3:28Speaker 5: we have.
- 3:28Speaker 3: And I think he's going to get there this week, all.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Right, he keeps saying, over again, represented Massey, I think
- 3:34Speaker 1: he is going to get there this week. Now. I
- 3:37Speaker 1: am in Washington, DC right now, and I am having
- 3:40Speaker 1: meetings with different people on the Hill. Most of them
- 3:44Speaker 1: agree that they believe Jim Jordan is still the guy
- 3:46Speaker 1: that has the best chance of pulling this off. That's
- 3:52Speaker 1: what I'm hearing. There are quite a few out there Republicans, however,
- 3:57Speaker 1: they're saying, give me something, right, I'm willing to sell out,
- 4:02Speaker 1: give me something. Represented Byron Donald's on the House Speaker vote,
- 4:05Speaker 1: here's what he had to say earlier on Fox. What
- 4:08Speaker 1: should people take away from what they've been witnessing happening
- 4:11Speaker 1: there with the members on Capitol Hill.
- 4:15Speaker 8: Well, look, even when I said this back in January,
- 4:18Speaker 8: this place is not what it used to be. The
- 4:20Speaker 8: business as usual. When Washington is not the state of
- 4:22Speaker 8: play anymore. Members are gonna make these individual decisions for themselves.
- 4:27Speaker 8: I actually encourage them to make these decisions. But now
- 4:30Speaker 8: I believe it's a time for the members to unite
- 4:32Speaker 8: around Jim Jordan so we can get back to the
- 4:34Speaker 8: business up here on Capitol Hill. But for people to
- 4:37Speaker 8: think that that leadership by acclamation is going to be
- 4:40Speaker 8: the state of play going forward, it's simply not going
- 4:42Speaker 8: to be the case in Washington anymore.
- 4:45Speaker 1: So he's saying, look, he believes Jim Jordan's going to
- 4:47Speaker 1: have a shot here. He hasn't had to have deals
- 4:50Speaker 1: done as well. That's now where they are. Representative Ken Buck,
- 4:54Speaker 1: by the way, voted for Tom immert Emmert for speaker,
- 5:00Speaker 1: and this is part of what was said as Jim
- 5:02Speaker 1: Jordan lost the first speaker vote. Here's what he said
- 5:05Speaker 1: on CNN.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Oh, he did not vote for a congressman Jim Jordan,
- 5:10Speaker 2: instead voting for Tom Emer. Well, I guess my first
- 5:13Speaker 2: question is do you really want Tom ember to be Speaker?
- 5:16Speaker 9: No?
- 5:16Speaker 4: I don't.
- 5:16Speaker 9: I don't like Tom Emmer. I figured this would be
- 5:18Speaker 9: the worst job in America. Mike Rowe would not want
- 5:20Speaker 9: to do this for his TV show. This is a
- 5:22Speaker 9: terrible job.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Okay, So just to underscore that you voted for somebody because.
- 5:27Speaker 9: You don't like them, I voted for somebody because I
- 5:30Speaker 9: wasn't going to vote for.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Jim yet, but but you don't, So that's what you're
- 5:33Speaker 1: dealing with, that type of logic. I mean you listen
- 5:36Speaker 1: to this Yahoo representative Ken Buck saying I voted for
- 5:40Speaker 1: Tom Emmer for speaker because I don't like Tom Emmer,
- 5:44Speaker 1: and Dana Baster is saying, do you really want Tom
- 5:46Speaker 1: Emmer to be speaker? He's like, no, no, I don't.
- 5:49Speaker 8: I don't.
- 5:49Speaker 1: And those are the people, by the way, that you're
- 5:51Speaker 1: now having to deal with if you're a Republican. Now
- 5:54Speaker 1: I'll go back to this. Who is a winner? Who
- 5:56Speaker 1: is a loser in all of this? The losers today, okay,
- 6:01Speaker 1: are the Republican Party. The winners today are the Democratic
- 6:04Speaker 1: Party because we look like we're a bunch of idiots
- 6:06Speaker 1: because of people like this moron Buck, who's like, I'm
- 6:10Speaker 1: going to vote for a guy I don't even like,
- 6:13Speaker 1: think about how messed up that is. I'm going to
- 6:15Speaker 1: vote for somebody I don't even like. There was another congressman,
- 6:19Speaker 1: Representative Hansinge. This is what he had to say about
- 6:22Speaker 1: the speaker vote as he was walking out of the
- 6:25Speaker 1: Capitol as well.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Listen in this atmosphere.
- 6:28Speaker 10: I'm not sure anybody could expect anyone to get two
- 6:31Speaker 10: hundred and seventeen votes right now. So Jim now knows
- 6:37Speaker 10: who he's got to really go talk to. And I've
- 6:39Speaker 10: heard different things. I've heard that he may lose some votes.
- 6:42Speaker 10: I've heard he's also going to gain some votes, that
- 6:45Speaker 10: somebody a few of these folks needed to stick a
- 6:47Speaker 10: protest stake in the ground, and that they're very gebtable
- 6:51Speaker 10: after that. You know, you look at four people sort
- 6:55Speaker 10: of off voting for one off folks, and I know
- 6:58Speaker 10: my friends from New York voting for my former friend.
- 7:01Speaker 10: They still have my friends, but my former colleague Leezelden.
- 7:04Speaker 10: You know, I'm not sure that that's a serious, long
- 7:10Speaker 10: term position to hold.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Yeah, this is what happens when you have a bunch
- 7:15Speaker 1: of selfish idiots in Congress on the Republican side. They
- 7:19Speaker 1: can screw anything up. Now, there's serious business that needs
- 7:23Speaker 1: to be done right now, and yet this is the
- 7:26Speaker 1: conversation that we're having in Washington. As I'm in Washington,
- 7:29Speaker 1: DC right now, there's also something else that's happening. You've
- 7:33Speaker 1: got this rocket that hit this Gaza hospital. This could
- 7:37Speaker 1: change the quote international opinion against Israel is what one
- 7:43Speaker 1: CNN colleague said on TV today, because there's people that
- 7:46Speaker 1: want this to happen. To be clear, from what we
- 7:48Speaker 1: understand right now, this rocket was a rocket that was
- 7:51Speaker 1: fired by Hamas, and it was a rocket that accidentally
- 7:54Speaker 1: hit their own hospital with their own Palestinians in it. Now,
- 7:59Speaker 1: could have been not an accent? Could they have done
- 8:01Speaker 1: this on purpose so they could then blame Israel for
- 8:04Speaker 1: blowing up a hospital and change, as CNN put it
- 8:08Speaker 1: the International Conversation here, Absolutely, they could do that because
- 8:13Speaker 1: he is the worst people in the world. All right,
- 8:18Speaker 1: let me tell you real quick about an amazing company
- 8:20Speaker 1: called Patriot Mobile. For ten years, they have been America's
- 8:24Speaker 1: only Christian conservative wireless provider. And when I say only
- 8:28Speaker 1: trust me, they're the only one. Glenn and the team
- 8:31Speaker 1: have been great supporters of this show, which is why
- 8:34Speaker 1: I'm proud to partner with Patriot Mobile. They offer you
- 8:37Speaker 1: dependable nationwide coverage, giving you the ability to access all
- 8:41Speaker 1: three major networks, which means you get the same coverage
- 8:44Speaker 1: you've been accustomed to without funding the leftist agenda. When
- 8:49Speaker 1: you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're sending the message that
- 8:51Speaker 1: you support free speech, religious freedom, sancty of life, Second Amendment,
- 8:55Speaker 1: and our military, our veterans and first responder heroes. They
- 8:59Speaker 1: have one hundred percent scent US based customer service team
- 9:02Speaker 1: making switching easy. You get to keep your same cell
- 9:05Speaker 1: phone number, keep your same phone that you have right now,
- 9:08Speaker 1: keep your same phone, or upgrade to a new one,
- 9:10Speaker 1: and their team will help you find the best plan
- 9:13Speaker 1: for your needs and save you real money. You've got
- 9:16Speaker 1: a small business, they can cover all that as well.
- 9:19Speaker 1: All you need to do is go to Patriot Mobile
- 9:21Speaker 1: dot com slash ferguson, patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson, or
- 9:26Speaker 1: call them nine seven to two Patriot. That's nine seven
- 9:30Speaker 1: to two Patriot get free activation when you use the
- 9:33Speaker 1: promo code ferguson. Join me and make the switch today
- 9:37Speaker 1: and protect our values and stand for them with every phone.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Call Patriotmobile dot com slash ferguson or nine seven to
- 9:45Speaker 1: two Patriot. I want you to hear this propaganda all
- 9:49Speaker 1: right from CNN. CNN put this out there on TV,
- 9:54Speaker 1: even though the initial reporting clearly is leaning towards Hamas
- 9:59Speaker 1: have a misfired rocket that hit their own hospital, or
- 10:03Speaker 1: they may have done it on purpose. But listen to
- 10:06Speaker 1: this vitriol, this anti Semitic vitriol that was aired on
- 10:11Speaker 1: CNN as hundreds are killed. Hamas says, this is their headline,
- 10:16Speaker 1: hundreds killed and is rarely strike on hospital in Gaza.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Yet that is not what the evidence is showing at
- 10:23Speaker 1: this hour. Listen and Jake.
- 10:26Speaker 11: What those images add up to is a mass casualty
- 10:29Speaker 11: event that could change the international opinion of what Israel
- 10:35Speaker 11: is doing right now. It could shift international opinion against them.
- 10:39Speaker 11: It's already shifted that opinion in the Arab world against Israel.
- 10:45Speaker 11: And Israeli news channels are still covering hostage families. Arab
- 10:50Speaker 11: news channels are covering the destruction inside Gaza. But this
- 10:54Speaker 11: is a denied area, so Israel international investigators we can't
- 10:59Speaker 11: get in to see what brought that structure down. Remember,
- 11:02Speaker 11: Israel's also trying to target the subterranean weapons storage Cachet's
- 11:08Speaker 11: rocket launcher facilities, and Hamas has a pattern of having
- 11:14Speaker 11: those types of things stationed near civilian areas.
- 11:18Speaker 1: I mean, this is anti Semitism at its highest level. Now,
- 11:22Speaker 1: I'm going to play for you now what Israel has
- 11:25Speaker 1: said about this, This is a top Benjaminette now who
- 11:28Speaker 1: advisor on Fox News Channel, talking about what happened at
- 11:33Speaker 1: this hospital, and listen to how he explains it compared
- 11:37Speaker 1: to the propaganda you just heard on CNN.
- 11:40Speaker 12: So the truth is, we're investigating, and as the IDEAF
- 11:44Speaker 12: said in this statement, they're looking into exactly what information
- 11:47Speaker 12: we have and what happened. What we can say is
- 11:50Speaker 12: the following. Number One, Israel does not target places like hospitals.
- 11:55Speaker 12: They're not a target for us, and we wouldn't have
- 11:57Speaker 12: deliberately hit a hospital. Number Two, we know that at
- 12:02Speaker 12: the time of this tragedy that Kamas was firing a
- 12:07Speaker 12: barrage of rockets at Tel Aviv and the center of
- 12:10Speaker 12: the country. I myself went to the bombshelter here at
- 12:13Speaker 12: the because we were under attack. Now, in the past,
- 12:16Speaker 12: there has been a pattern of behavior that we've seen
- 12:19Speaker 12: that up to a third of rockets fired from Gaza
- 12:23Speaker 12: fall inside the Gaza strip because they malfunction. Now it
- 12:27Speaker 12: is possible, once again, we don't know the facts, and
- 12:30Speaker 12: that's why people should be very careful here, but it
- 12:33Speaker 12: is possible that this was one of those rockets that malfunctioned.
- 12:37Speaker 12: I spoke to a senior IDF officer just before coming
- 12:40Speaker 12: on this program, and he said to me that actually
- 12:43Speaker 12: Hamas made a statement saying they were sending a rocket
- 12:46Speaker 12: to Haifa. Now we know Hypha's in northern Israel. We
- 12:50Speaker 12: know that no such rocket was sent or definitely didn't
- 12:53Speaker 12: reach Hypa, and so is it possible that there's a
- 12:56Speaker 12: malfunction here. And once again there's a pattern of munitions
- 13:01Speaker 12: by Ramas falling short. We had something in the last
- 13:04Speaker 12: round of fighting, the previous round of shop fighting with Kamas,
- 13:07Speaker 12: where within Somemitchy hardware a missile did fall shorter and
- 13:10Speaker 12: that was documented. So this stage we don't know what
- 13:13Speaker 12: happened Hamas. Of course, the Hamas controlled Ministry of Health
- 13:17Speaker 12: in Gaza will be saying it's all Israel's fault. That's
- 13:20Speaker 12: part of their narrative. I urge people, that's just wait
- 13:23Speaker 12: and see what happened. Let's look at the facts as
- 13:25Speaker 12: they developed. Israel does not target hospitals, and we have
- 13:30Speaker 12: to get to the bottom of what actually happened, and
- 13:32Speaker 12: it'll take a little bit more time.
- 13:34Speaker 2: How much time do you think it will take to
- 13:37Speaker 2: determine whether or not this was an IDF missile?
- 13:41Speaker 12: So in the past we've sometimes been able to do
- 13:44Speaker 12: it very quickly. There was a similar place in a
- 13:47Speaker 12: previous round of fighting a few years ago, where there
- 13:50Speaker 12: was also a situation where a family was killed by
- 13:53Speaker 12: ordinance and of course kamasa at Israel. Israel, Israel Israel.
- 13:57Speaker 12: And in the end we actually had proof. We could
- 14:00Speaker 12: show a video that showed the Ramas fire a rocket
- 14:03Speaker 12: or it might have been Islamic gi Heart at the time,
- 14:05Speaker 12: the other terrorist group, and see it actually fall short
- 14:08Speaker 12: into Gaza, and that took all the oxygen out of
- 14:12Speaker 12: the Ramas balloon, so to speak. We have to wait
- 14:15Speaker 12: to see this time. Once again, I'm telling you honestly,
- 14:18Speaker 12: this just happened. We're still investigating. Except to say that
- 14:22Speaker 12: the IDEF doesn't deliberately target places like hospitals, which is obvious.
- 14:27Speaker 12: We have to wait and see.
- 14:30Speaker 1: You listen to those two different conversations, they are extremely different.
- 14:36Speaker 1: CNN is already saying, oh, this could change the war,
- 14:39Speaker 1: This could change the way that people look at Israel,
- 14:41Speaker 1: This could change the international opinion against Israel. You heard
- 14:47Speaker 1: what he said. We're in the middle of war. Yes,
- 14:51Speaker 1: is there a chance that one of our rockets didn't
- 14:53Speaker 1: hit the right place. We're not going to say that's impossible,
- 14:57Speaker 1: but what we are saying is, at the time that
- 14:58Speaker 1: this happened, there was a bar rockets coming from Hamas.
- 15:02Speaker 1: Net and Yahoo had this to say about the to
- 15:05Speaker 1: the world, by the way, about about Hamas, and he says,
- 15:09Speaker 1: they are the new Nazis.
- 15:11Speaker 13: Ramas are the new Nazis. Ramas is isis in some
- 15:16Speaker 13: instances worse than Isis. And just as the world united
- 15:21Speaker 13: to defeat the Nazis, just as the world united to
- 15:26Speaker 13: defeat Isis, the world has to stand united behind Israel
- 15:31Speaker 13: to defeat Ramas. This is a part of an access
- 15:36Speaker 13: of evil of Iran and Rizbala and Ramas. Their goal,
- 15:44Speaker 13: open goal is to eradicate the state of Israel. The
- 15:49Speaker 13: open goal of Hamas is to kill as many Jews
- 15:51Speaker 13: as they could. And the only difference is they would
- 15:54Speaker 13: have killed every last one of us, murdered every last
- 15:56Speaker 13: one of us if they could. They just don't have
- 15:58Speaker 13: the capacity. But they an extraordinary thirteen hundred civilians, which
- 16:04Speaker 13: in American terms is like many, many, many nine elevens.
- 16:08Speaker 13: So obviously we must take action to defeat Ramas and
- 16:12Speaker 13: to ensure that this doesn't happen again. But this is
- 16:14Speaker 13: not only our battle, it is our common battle, the
- 16:19Speaker 13: battle of civilization against barbarism. And if it's not stopped here,
- 16:24Speaker 13: the savagery will reach you very soon and reach the
- 16:28Speaker 13: entire world.
- 16:29Speaker 1: I think he's absolutely right. Calling Hamas are the new
- 16:33Speaker 1: Nazis is exactly what he should have said here, and
- 16:39Speaker 1: he's right. And if we don't defeat them, then what
- 16:42Speaker 1: are we doing? Right Like, if we don't defeat them,
- 16:45Speaker 1: what is happening here? And who thinks that we can
- 16:48Speaker 1: live side by side in this scenario? You clearly cannot
- 16:53Speaker 1: live side by side in this scenario the way that
- 16:58Speaker 1: Hamas acts and the way that they kill, and the
- 17:00Speaker 1: way that they behead Now, let me go back to
- 17:03Speaker 1: the speaker's battle for just a moment.
- 17:05Speaker 6: Here.
- 17:07Speaker 1: It is clear, it is It is clear that the
- 17:13Speaker 1: Republicans need to get their heads out of their rear
- 17:15Speaker 1: end and they need to understand what's happening right now.
- 17:20Speaker 1: You know, you had Chinese jets, for example, come within
- 17:22Speaker 1: five meters of a Canadian spy plane and a very
- 17:26Speaker 1: aggressive intercept. Today you have Russia and China meeting. You
- 17:31Speaker 1: have the President of United States of America having to
- 17:33Speaker 1: figure out what he says. Here you have Mitch McConnell's
- 17:36Speaker 1: saying he can't disagree more with Trump's comments on hesblah
- 17:39Speaker 1: and net and Yahoo today. So now we have Republicans
- 17:42Speaker 1: fighting other Republicans. Here's what Mitch McConnell said on the
- 17:46Speaker 1: Senate side at his press conference.
- 17:51Speaker 14: Do you have any reaction of former President Trump saying
- 17:54Speaker 14: that Hesbela is very smart and also his criticism of
- 17:58Speaker 14: Prime Minister Benjamin Netton and.
- 17:59Speaker 4: Abe, I certainly do. I can't disagree more. Is bala
- 18:06Speaker 4: is a terrorist organization just like AMAS, funded by the
- 18:11Speaker 4: same source as from OS and Prime Minister Netanyahu is
- 18:15Speaker 4: one of the great leaders of modern times.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Andrew, I mean, could you have made it any easier
- 18:22Speaker 1: for the media? Could you have made it any easier
- 18:26Speaker 1: to come out there and to get in this big
- 18:28Speaker 1: back and forth with the President of the United States
- 18:30Speaker 1: of America former President Trump. Jensaki asks if Trump already
- 18:34Speaker 1: violated the gag order by attacking judge who issued that
- 18:37Speaker 1: gag order. This is where we're spiraling right now as
- 18:41Speaker 1: a conservative movement because we don't have actual leaders right
- 18:45Speaker 1: now leading. We need a speaker and we need a
- 18:48Speaker 1: speaker now. Okay, we need a speaker, and we need
- 18:52Speaker 1: a speaker now so that we can get the House
- 18:56Speaker 1: in order as soon as possible, period full stop. Let
- 19:05Speaker 1: me play for you, for example, what Representative Sephonics said
- 19:08Speaker 1: about Jim Jordan. Okay, this was the pitch to get
- 19:12Speaker 1: everybody but a couple of selfish, arrogant, cocky Republicans on
- 19:17Speaker 1: board that are sitting there holding up countless amount of
- 19:23Speaker 1: not just votes, but also having united front as Republicans.
- 19:27Speaker 1: And I want you to hear what she had to
- 19:29Speaker 1: say about Jim Jordan. I think it's important you understand
- 19:32Speaker 1: Jim Jordan is the guy, by the way, that deserves
- 19:34Speaker 1: this job. As I'm live here in DC for all this,
- 19:37Speaker 1: I can tell you the amount of frustration from like
- 19:40Speaker 1: ninety eight percent of Republicans is just like through the
- 19:44Speaker 1: roof losing their minds. And if you listen to what
- 19:47Speaker 1: she said about Jim Jordan, you understand why this should
- 19:49Speaker 1: have been an easy vote, but there are grandstanders who
- 19:52Speaker 1: refuse to get on board.
- 19:54Speaker 14: This is your speaker pro temp, Madam Clerk, Colleagues on
- 19:58Speaker 14: behalf of the House Looking Conference, I rise today to
- 20:02Speaker 14: nominate the gentleman from Ohio, Jim Jordan, as Speaker of
- 20:06Speaker 14: the People's House. We are at a time of great
- 20:25Speaker 14: crisis across America, a time of historic challenges in this
- 20:31Speaker 14: very chamber, and a time when heinous acts of terror
- 20:36Speaker 14: and evil have been committed against our great ally Israel.
- 20:41Speaker 14: As this body convenes for the sacred responsibility to elect
- 20:45Speaker 14: the next Speaker of the People's House, I am reminded
- 20:49Speaker 14: of the Book of Esther. For such a time is this,
- 20:54Speaker 14: Jim Jordan will be America Speaker. For such a time
- 20:58Speaker 14: as this. A time when hard working American families are
- 21:02Speaker 14: struggling under the vice of inflation, not able to afford grocerees, heat,
- 21:07Speaker 14: or gas because of the trillions and trillions of dollars
- 21:10Speaker 14: of reckless spending by failed far left government. A time
- 21:14Speaker 14: when millions are being illegally trafficked and smuggled across our
- 21:18Speaker 14: southern and northern borders due to the catastrophic and inhumane
- 21:22Speaker 14: wide open borders of Joe Biden. A time when violent
- 21:27Speaker 14: crime is skyrocketing across America, destroying our great cities, suburbs,
- 21:32Speaker 14: and small towns, where people no longer feel safe in
- 21:36Speaker 14: their homes. Or in their communities. A time when American
- 21:40Speaker 14: energy production has been crushed by Joe Biden's radical far
- 21:44Speaker 14: left policies, causing seniors, farmers, and families to pay more
- 21:48Speaker 14: at the pump and struggle with skyrocketing utility bills. A
- 21:53Speaker 14: time when the federal government is weaponized against we, the
- 21:58Speaker 14: people who they are supple host to serve, stripping us
- 22:02Speaker 14: of our God given constitutional rights and wrongfully targeting Conservatives, Catholics,
- 22:08Speaker 14: and even parents at school board meetings. And a time
- 22:13Speaker 14: when the people of our closest and most precious, ally Israel,
- 22:17Speaker 14: suffered the bloodiest day since the Holocaust, with acts of
- 22:21Speaker 14: inhumane evil committed by Hummas terrorist backed by Iran, grotesque atrocities,
- 22:29Speaker 14: the beheadings of babies, rapes, kidnappings and slaughter of women,
- 22:35Speaker 14: children and the elderly, and Israelis and Americans taken hostage.
- 22:41Speaker 14: We are here in this very chamber for such a
- 22:44Speaker 14: time as this. Jim Jordan will be we the people speaker,
- 22:50Speaker 14: for such a time as this. Our friend and colleague,
- 22:54Speaker 14: Jim Jordan is a patriot. He is an America First
- 22:57Speaker 14: warrior who wins the toughest of fights, going after corruption
- 23:01Speaker 14: and delivering accountability at the highest levels of government on
- 23:05Speaker 14: behalf of we the people.
- 23:08Speaker 3: Jim is the.
- 23:08Speaker 14: Voice of the American people who have felt voiceless for
- 23:11Speaker 14: far too long. Whether as Judiciary chair, Conservative leader, or
- 23:16Speaker 14: representative for his constituents in West central Ohio, Whether on
- 23:20Speaker 14: the wrestling mat or in the committee room, Jim Jordan
- 23:24Speaker 14: is strategic, scrappy, tough and principled. He is a mentor,
- 23:28Speaker 14: a worker, and above all, he is a fighter. And
- 23:31Speaker 14: the American people know. We know that Jim Jordan is
- 23:36Speaker 14: a winner on behalf of the American people. Almost ten
- 23:41Speaker 14: years ago, many of us sat with our colleague Jim
- 23:44Speaker 14: Jordan in this very chamber when Prime Minister Netanyaho delivered
- 23:49Speaker 14: his historic joint address, which some of our colleagues across
- 23:53Speaker 14: the aisle shamefully boycotted. BB pointed out that in this
- 23:58Speaker 14: very chamber we serve under the watchful gaze of Moses.
- 24:03Speaker 14: He said, quote, overlooking all of us in this chamber
- 24:07Speaker 14: is the image of Moses. And before the people of
- 24:09Speaker 14: Israel entered the land of Israel, Moses gave us a
- 24:12Speaker 14: message that has stealed our resolve for thousands of years.
- 24:16Speaker 14: Be strong and resolute, neither fear nor dread them. He
- 24:21Speaker 14: went on to say, my friends, may Israel and America
- 24:24Speaker 14: always stand together, strong and resolute. May we neither fear
- 24:27Speaker 14: nor dread the challenges ahead. May we face the future
- 24:30Speaker 14: with confidence, strength and hope. End quote on behalf of
- 24:35Speaker 14: the American people. Let's face the future with confidence, strength
- 24:41Speaker 14: and hope. Let's elect Jim Jordan, our Speaker of the
- 24:45Speaker 14: People's House for such a time as this.
- 24:48Speaker 10: And I yeeld back.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Look, you listen to what she just said there, and
- 24:55Speaker 1: I couldn't agree with her more. The reason why I
- 24:58Speaker 1: wanted you to hear this is because I wanted you
- 25:00Speaker 1: to hear why I think Jim Jordan is a guy
- 25:03Speaker 1: that will bring people together. When you got Mitch McConnell
- 25:06Speaker 1: taking shots at Donald Trump, and when you've got Republicans
- 25:10Speaker 1: that are going on TV like Ken Buck, who's so
- 25:13Speaker 1: stupid he actually says he's voting for Tom Immer, a
- 25:16Speaker 1: guy that he doesn't even like, just because he doesn't
- 25:19Speaker 1: want to vote for Jim Jordan. Again his words, it's
- 25:21Speaker 1: a Republican listen, did not.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Vote for a Congressman Jim Jordan, instead voting for Tom Emmer. Well,
- 25:28Speaker 2: I guess my first question is do you really want
- 25:30Speaker 2: Tom Emmer to be Speaker?
- 25:32Speaker 9: No, I don't. I don't like Tom Emmer. I figured
- 25:34Speaker 9: this would be the worst job in America. Mike Rowe
- 25:36Speaker 9: would not want to do this for his TV show.
- 25:38Speaker 9: This is a terrible job.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Okay, So just to underscore that you voted for somebody
- 25:43Speaker 2: because you don't like them.
- 25:45Speaker 9: I voted for somebody because I wasn't going to vote
- 25:47Speaker 9: for Jim.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Yeah, but you don't.
- 25:50Speaker 1: That is what you're dealing with. Ken Buck says, I'm
- 25:54Speaker 1: voting for Tom Emmer. I don't like Tom Emmer because
- 25:57Speaker 1: I don't want to. I don't want to vote for
- 25:59Speaker 1: Jim Jordan. Who needs enemies when you have friends like this?
- 26:05Speaker 1: I mean, seriously, this is the Republican Party right now,
- 26:09Speaker 1: and there's there, whether it's this guy or Matt Gates,
- 26:13Speaker 1: who's hold you know, you have extremes on both sides within.
- 26:17Speaker 1: You have the issues right now that we should all
- 26:20Speaker 1: be talking about, and instead we're dealing with this crap
- 26:25Speaker 1: right now and Democrats are doing everything they can to
- 26:31Speaker 1: take shots and to enjoy these moments. We need a
- 26:36Speaker 1: Speaker of the House. You need to call your congressman,
- 26:40Speaker 1: and you need to tell your congressman to vote for
- 26:42Speaker 1: Jim Jordan and get this deal done. This is when
- 26:47Speaker 1: your voice needs to be heard. You need to make
- 26:51Speaker 1: sure that your voice is being heard. There are a
- 26:54Speaker 1: lot of serious issues right now. I'll give you one
- 26:57Speaker 1: example of that. Today was asked a question about putting
- 27:03Speaker 1: American troops on the ground in Israel to fight against Tamas.
- 27:08Speaker 1: This is something you might want your congressman to be
- 27:10Speaker 1: involved in. Listen to the White House and how they
- 27:13Speaker 1: responded to that question.
- 27:15Speaker 12: Well, Congressman McCall, who's the chairman of the House Foreign
- 27:20Speaker 12: Affairs Committee, said something last night.
- 27:21Speaker 3: I want to play it for you and get your response.
- 27:23Speaker 9: They Listen.
- 27:25Speaker 15: My committee, the Foreign Affairs Committee, is the committee that
- 27:29Speaker 15: is responsible for either declaring war or an authorized use
- 27:33Speaker 15: of military for so Actually, I'm currently preparing a draft
- 27:38Speaker 15: of that in the event it is called upon and
- 27:40Speaker 15: as necessary, but most importantly supported by the American people.
- 27:46Speaker 12: John has the administration had any conversations with lawmakers about
- 27:49Speaker 12: drafting an AOMF at this point.
- 27:52Speaker 16: I don't believe that's an active part of the conversation
- 27:54Speaker 16: right now. And again, I think it's important for people
- 27:56Speaker 16: to remember the additional military forces that are either being
- 27:59Speaker 16: prepared or are on the way to the region is
- 28:03Speaker 16: really about sending a signal of deterrence. We don't want
- 28:05Speaker 16: to see this conflict escalate and widen. There are no
- 28:08Speaker 16: plans or intentions to put US boots on the ground
- 28:10Speaker 16: in combat in Israel. Everything we're doing right now is
- 28:13Speaker 16: about sending a strong signal of deterrence.
- 28:17Speaker 1: You might want to have your congressmen involved in this.
- 28:20Speaker 1: You might want to have Republicans who are involved in
- 28:22Speaker 1: this conversation right like, this is a big deal. They're
- 28:26Speaker 1: now talking about sending American troops to possibly go fight
- 28:31Speaker 1: in another war. I would hope that most of you
- 28:35Speaker 1: would say, yeah, I might want to know that the
- 28:37Speaker 1: Republicans have a speaker so that we can respond to
- 28:41Speaker 1: this and not just be sitting there while the president
- 28:44Speaker 1: may send our troops into another war. This is a
- 28:48Speaker 1: conversation that should be had. Call your congressman two zero
- 28:54Speaker 1: two two two one three one two one, Call your
- 28:57Speaker 1: congressman and tell your congress okay, that that it's time
- 29:03Speaker 1: to get a speaker. It's time to get a speaker.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Don't forget Share this podcast with your family and friends.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Please and I will see you back here tomorrow
