- 1:41Speaker 1: turn out, the turns to love. You got to turn
- 1:44Speaker 1: out to turn water. Wan goall, comey, come on your thing,
- 1:59Speaker 1: got it? Uh huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody you'
- 2:05Speaker 1: are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now
- 2:08Speaker 1: one it only Steve Harvey. Oh Man got a radio show.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Man got a radio show, and a whole lot more
- 2:14Speaker 1: to man. God is good to me. I have no
- 2:18Speaker 1: other explanation. I have no other explanation of my existence
- 2:23Speaker 1: and where I stand in this thing called life, except
- 2:26Speaker 1: if it was not for the goodness of God Almighty,
- 2:30Speaker 1: If it was not for His grace and his mercy,
- 2:33Speaker 1: There's no way I could exist the way that I do.
- 2:37Speaker 1: I would not be who I am or where I am.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I am who I am and where I am simply
- 2:43Speaker 1: because God is who he is. If it was not
- 2:48Speaker 1: for God, I would have no testimony for you, because
- 2:52Speaker 1: I would have failed every single test plain, pure and simple.
- 2:59Speaker 1: I can sit here today until you flat out that
- 3:03Speaker 1: it is purely because of God's grace and mercy that
- 3:08Speaker 1: I exist today because of His favor. See now, He
- 3:12Speaker 1: shows us favor in life because of a combination of
- 3:17Speaker 1: things I've discovered. And this is not the whole answer
- 3:21Speaker 1: to life. I can assure you as not. But this
- 3:24Speaker 1: is a combination that I've grown to understand better and better,
- 3:28Speaker 1: and I wish I had gotten it earlier in my life.
- 3:31Speaker 1: But here it is. If you take faith and you
- 3:38Speaker 1: combine it with an incredible work ethic, then God has
- 3:49Speaker 1: the greatest opportunities to show you favor one more time.
- 3:56Speaker 1: If you take faith. I said faith because in the
- 4:01Speaker 1: Scripture says you can have the faith of a mustancy,
- 4:04Speaker 1: the smallest of all sees. If you take faith and
- 4:08Speaker 1: you combine it with an incredible work ethic, it allows
- 4:13Speaker 1: the most opportunities for God to show you favor. That's
- 4:19Speaker 1: the best way I can explain success to you from
- 4:23Speaker 1: my standpoint. It is the combination of faith and work
- 4:29Speaker 1: that produces the most opportunities for God to show you favor.
- 4:34Speaker 1: See a lot of times we want God to bless us,
- 4:36Speaker 1: but we ain't doing nothing for Him to bless. So
- 4:40Speaker 1: now we sideways in the equation a little bit. But
- 4:43Speaker 1: see if you had the faith in God that God
- 4:47Speaker 1: can do anything but fail, that God will get you through,
- 4:51Speaker 1: that God will see you through. That the God is
- 4:54Speaker 1: the God you serve as the greatest gift of all
- 4:57Speaker 1: good things. If you kept that faith into hack through
- 5:01Speaker 1: it all, and you produced an incredible work ethic that
- 5:07Speaker 1: allows the most opportunities for God to show you favor. See,
- 5:13Speaker 1: without that what you want God to do. See, you
- 5:16Speaker 1: can have faith and be sitting at the house watching TV.
- 5:20Speaker 1: There's nothing being produced, no opportunities for God to show
- 5:25Speaker 1: you favor. And you got to do some things man,
- 5:30Speaker 1: that you are uncomfortable doing or don't feel like doing,
- 5:34Speaker 1: or something that don't have the right payoff right in
- 5:37Speaker 1: front of your face, with the faith that it will
- 5:40Speaker 1: payoff later on. See. Too many people are working for
- 5:44Speaker 1: the right now reward, and the right now reward is
- 5:47Speaker 1: not how it works. Sometimes the reward is coming later
- 5:51Speaker 1: on up the road. But the only way you can know.
- 5:54Speaker 1: That is if you got to you got to apply
- 5:56Speaker 1: the faith and see the reason you don't know that
- 6:00Speaker 1: that is coming like that, or you have to have
- 6:03Speaker 1: faith to believe that it is coming. Because faith is
- 6:06Speaker 1: the belief in things that you cannot see. That's what
- 6:11Speaker 1: faith is. Look, man, it's easy to believe in something
- 6:16Speaker 1: you can see. That's it ain't ain't nothing. What what
- 6:20Speaker 1: that take? You know? You're standing that Let me give
- 6:23Speaker 1: you them. You're standing at the crosswalk with with a
- 6:26Speaker 1: walk sign on it and the and the sign flashing
- 6:28Speaker 1: on the corner. Don't walk then that the signs say walk.
- 6:35Speaker 1: What do you think your chances are making it across
- 6:37Speaker 1: that street? Is well pretty good because guess what the
- 6:41Speaker 1: signs say walk. You can see the other side. There's
- 6:45Speaker 1: other people in the crosswalk walking, So guess what you
- 6:48Speaker 1: strike out blindly? It don't take a lot of faith
- 6:51Speaker 1: to get across that street. That's that's That's not why
- 6:55Speaker 1: I'm talking to you about. I'm talking about the faith.
- 6:59Speaker 1: The belief in thing is that you cannot see. The
- 7:02Speaker 1: faith that what I'm doing today, I believe in my
- 7:07Speaker 1: heart of heart that God wouldn't bring me this far
- 7:10Speaker 1: to leave me that God is a true and living God,
- 7:13Speaker 1: that he keeps his promises that later on. There's things
- 7:16Speaker 1: that I'm working towards right now gonna pay off later on. See,
- 7:19Speaker 1: too many people want to reward right now. They want
- 7:22Speaker 1: to go to work Friday. Get to check sad day.
- 7:26Speaker 1: You know, we want to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,
- 7:28Speaker 1: Get to check Friday. If somebody come to you and say, hey, man, uh,
- 7:33Speaker 1: if you do this Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, then
- 7:36Speaker 1: you do this Saturday and come back and do this
- 7:38Speaker 1: Monday through the Friday in the long running to pay off.
- 7:42Speaker 1: And you say, man, I ain't gonna do all that. See,
- 7:45Speaker 1: that's not the exhibition of faith. If it's the right
- 7:49Speaker 1: thing to do, if it's if it's a good thing
- 7:52Speaker 1: to do, if it's a just thing to do. See,
- 7:55Speaker 1: if it's sin in it, it ain't God a't just
- 7:59Speaker 1: cleared on a right there. You can stop all the wondering.
- 8:02Speaker 1: If that's his voice talking to you, if it's the
- 8:05Speaker 1: right thing to do, if it's sin in it, it's
- 8:08Speaker 1: not God talking to you, kill it you you you
- 8:13Speaker 1: can shut it down. You ain't got to wonder about it.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Go down there secret venge that ain't God. Go tell
- 8:18Speaker 1: him off when you see him, that ain't God. Anything
- 8:21Speaker 1: that's God's seeing in it is not God's voice telling
- 8:24Speaker 1: you to do it. So you can you can kill
- 8:26Speaker 1: that conversation today. That's how you know. But if you
- 8:29Speaker 1: align yourself up, man and you and what you're doing
- 8:32Speaker 1: is just and right and correct and pleasing in the
- 8:35Speaker 1: sight of God, it'll pay off for you later on.
- 8:40Speaker 1: And see, here's here's here's here's the best way I
- 8:43Speaker 1: can tell to you. Here's another one. When you're going somewhere,
- 8:49Speaker 1: when you're when you're on the road to going somewhere,
- 8:52Speaker 1: and you know the somewhere that you're trying to get to.
- 8:55Speaker 1: Let's say you set a goal or vision for yourself,
- 8:57Speaker 1: you know where you want to get to. You gotta
- 9:00Speaker 1: had a good idea, and you own your way to
- 9:02Speaker 1: going there. Listen to me when it gets hard, and
- 9:06Speaker 1: it is going to get hard, when it gets difficult,
- 9:10Speaker 1: and it is going to get difficult, when it becomes challenging,
- 9:14Speaker 1: and it is going to become challenging, when it becomes
- 9:17Speaker 1: all three of those things. When it don't look like
- 9:20Speaker 1: it's gonna happen, listen to me, don't stop and complain
- 9:25Speaker 1: so much. But see, I know he didn't bless me.
- 9:29Speaker 1: But in the middle of it, man, I felt a
- 9:31Speaker 1: little heavy. And you got to be careful when he
- 9:34Speaker 1: gets hard for you, because you're find yourself complaining. And
- 9:38Speaker 1: when you complain, and see, what you can't do is
- 9:41Speaker 1: you can't complain so much that you forget that the
- 9:46Speaker 1: place that you're trying to go to, you actually on
- 9:49Speaker 1: your way there still. See, don't get caught up into
- 9:53Speaker 1: complaining and then lose sight of your blessing. That's actually happened.
- 9:57Speaker 1: It to you? What really, man, of all the times
- 10:01Speaker 1: to register a complaint to God, to sit up and go, hey, man,
- 10:05Speaker 1: I I didn't wanta wanted to ease back into this thing.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Ease back in, man, you in It's it's a tornado
- 10:12Speaker 1: world around you. You You ain't got time to ease back in.
- 10:14Speaker 1: You got to go on and jump back in it.
- 10:16Speaker 1: It is what it is to whom much is given,
- 10:19Speaker 1: much is required. Always appreciate the blessings. Don't get so
- 10:23Speaker 1: caught up in the complaints that you lose sight of
- 10:25Speaker 1: the blessings. Man, God got a lot for you in
- 10:27Speaker 1: your life. Man, but you gotta have them two things, y'all.
- 10:30Speaker 1: You gotta take that faith and you got to apply
- 10:34Speaker 1: a crazy work ethic to it. And that creates the
- 10:37Speaker 1: most opportunities for God to show your favor. And when
- 10:41Speaker 1: God starts showing your favor, man, all of them seeds,
- 10:44Speaker 1: you plant, all of that, all of that which you've
- 10:47Speaker 1: been sowing, all of that hard work you've been put
- 10:50Speaker 1: in God to pay it off. And he'll pay it
- 10:53Speaker 1: off in ways that you don't even see coming. Okay, cool,
- 10:57Speaker 1: you're listening to show ladies, gentlemen's boys. Tommy, shut up, Jim,
- 11:10Speaker 1: you already we can't space. No, this this show is
- 11:17Speaker 1: full of controversial. I'm just glad j Hill. I'm team Tommy,
- 11:25Speaker 1: but not really though, but not really coming come and
- 11:29Speaker 1: get you. Catch you on the Jay after while. I
- 11:32Speaker 1: think that's gonna be the big confrontation to two foods
- 11:35Speaker 1: match up. Now, j can't do nothing athletic, so don't
- 11:40Speaker 1: don't even ask. Can't be known athletic challenges. I gotta
- 11:44Speaker 1: show you me and j Anthony Brown's cook off. You
- 11:48Speaker 1: gotta see that video. Oh yeah, the cook off trust
- 11:53Speaker 1: Me that we did a few years back. He won that.
- 11:58Speaker 1: Now I'll let you decide, let me get the video.
- 12:04Speaker 1: We'll see what you. Let us decide. Well, it's probably
- 12:08Speaker 1: too close. That's why. You know, if he do a
- 12:11Speaker 1: video and you don't see it for two years something.
- 12:16Speaker 1: He released his stuff immediately or prematurely. But what he's
- 12:23Speaker 1: not gonna do is release it late. Oh no, so
- 12:29Speaker 1: our audience doesn't know. You're thinking my question loaded is gone?
- 12:34Speaker 1: So you might we're gonna get the answer because if
- 12:36Speaker 1: you don't. We just did a stupid, funny video. It
- 12:39Speaker 1: was funny, that's all it was. It's just a video. Okay,
- 12:42Speaker 1: So stupid funny video. Well we know who the funny was.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Now what we know who the stupid was. So when
- 12:48Speaker 1: y'all got together, what y'all gonna do? First of all,
- 12:51Speaker 1: I was both for them, So let's get that understand. Oh,
- 12:54Speaker 1: now you want to talk at the gate that hate?
- 13:00Speaker 1: You know, I don't get it. What is it about?
- 13:05Speaker 1: But it's old, I asked him. I asked him that, Tommy,
- 13:08Speaker 1: when you were out the other day, it's just straight. Hey,
- 13:11Speaker 1: it's all day every day. Soon I walk in the door,
- 13:14Speaker 1: it's just hate. Man, y'all ought to be tired of
- 13:18Speaker 1: hating Tommy. We love you management, I love you. Ah
- 13:23Speaker 1: yeall hate us. Harvey and Junior hate us. Yes, oh dad,
- 13:33Speaker 1: I ain't to be hating about how to hell, I'm lord,
- 13:40Speaker 1: it's just hate. I'm with You're with the hate. You're
- 13:47Speaker 1: with the hate. Any call him what you want to call?
- 13:52Speaker 1: You call it love, you know you call it you
- 13:55Speaker 1: know motivations you want to you hate me? I call
- 14:00Speaker 1: it motivation at night. We're one hateful family. I did
- 14:06Speaker 1: not even know you felt like that to you. I'm surprised.
- 14:12Speaker 1: We we hate you, but why don't I don't. That's
- 14:20Speaker 1: what that's the verdict. That's what everybody wants to know.
- 14:23Speaker 1: That's the thing, though, everybody you only want to obviously
- 14:26Speaker 1: keeping up at night calling Shelly ain't tripping on it. Man, No,
- 14:30Speaker 1: I know you hate, but it wasn't even really hate.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Though it is hate. You don't like nobody questioning you.
- 14:40Speaker 1: Something funny coming up? At thirty two after the hour,
- 14:43Speaker 1: you're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. It's time for
- 14:48Speaker 1: something funny. Okay, cool and it better be funny. Well,
- 14:52Speaker 1: it's up to termining. Well, we don't know. I'll tell
- 14:57Speaker 1: you what. I'll tell you what we're doing. Preaching. All
- 15:00Speaker 1: of you get to ask me a question about Tommy,
- 15:03Speaker 1: and then you judge if it's hate. That's all all
- 15:08Speaker 1: of you think of a question for me concerning Tommy
- 15:12Speaker 1: and Tommy you can join into and we'll see if
- 15:15Speaker 1: it's hate and watch it don't be hate. Watch I'm ready.
- 15:22Speaker 1: You let me go first. Do you believe that Tommy
- 15:30Speaker 1: sells out venues comedy clubs when he's on the road
- 15:34Speaker 1: during his dates Some comedy clubs, yes, and lots of shows,
- 15:39Speaker 1: comedy shows within the weekend. Yes. Would you let him answer? Tommy, Yes,
- 15:44Speaker 1: I do feel as though he sells our some Okay,
- 15:47Speaker 1: he said, yes, he does feel Okay, not all. Oh God,
- 15:55Speaker 1: judge the answer. Go ahead, Well I wouldn't hate that, okay. So,
- 16:01Speaker 1: since you've known Tommy all his life, the w situation,
- 16:07Speaker 1: you know, where he can't really pronounce his w's, how
- 16:10Speaker 1: did that start? Was it an accident or what happened? Well,
- 16:16Speaker 1: when Tommy was small, my father said he was small
- 16:21Speaker 1: as a Vianna sausage weenie, and so Tommy thought that
- 16:26Speaker 1: was his name, so he would trying Tommy, he go
- 16:30Speaker 1: weeny and that's how that's when we first discovered that
- 16:35Speaker 1: daddy couldn't say wies because he couldn't say his nickname,
- 16:37Speaker 1: which was weeny. How old was he? About? A little over?
- 16:41Speaker 1: About two? Started? Was that? Haye, Tommy? I believe the
- 16:54Speaker 1: uh do you feel? You in competition with Tommy? Absolutely not?
- 16:58Speaker 1: Can't be in competition with somebody? Ain't. Don't saying race
- 17:00Speaker 1: course is hate? No, that's true. I mean little he
- 17:08Speaker 1: tried to hide him. He is straight. No, hold on,
- 17:11Speaker 1: I'm retired from comedy. He in comedy, I'm on TV.
- 17:15Speaker 1: He ain't what what? What is we competing for? That's
- 17:20Speaker 1: what we've been all trying to figure out for a
- 17:22Speaker 1: long time. But see didn't I'm not. It's not competition.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I tell you you got I ain't got nothing. You
- 17:31Speaker 1: got butte hate hate, but you want it, And it's
- 17:36Speaker 1: the wonting that's causing you to look bad. It's the
- 17:40Speaker 1: wounds causing hate with won'ting it quit steps all in
- 17:46Speaker 1: hate just to be what you got? What's wrong with wanting? Well,
- 17:50Speaker 1: it's a better life if you want a better life.
- 17:53Speaker 1: But you're mad at me because I got it and
- 17:55Speaker 1: you ain't. Nobody and what I'm supposed to be, you know,
- 17:59Speaker 1: it's all he's a competition with him. That's why he
- 18:03Speaker 1: don't come get this, Minty. Sure, that's exactly I'm not
- 18:07Speaker 1: gonna get no hate, Minty, I'm telling you right now,
- 18:12Speaker 1: and because you're mentoring is hate and I don't want it.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I'm not feeling my life up with all this hate.
- 18:17Speaker 1: You next question please? Okay, okay, Steve, don't get mad,
- 18:27Speaker 1: but it does seem like you pick Junior over Tommy
- 18:33Speaker 1: sometimes situations. Let me finish Junior just like cobolutely. Oh
- 18:40Speaker 1: she didn't even get a chance to find hate a race,
- 18:42Speaker 1: your baby, your blood nephew. What is going on? Because
- 18:48Speaker 1: my nephew refuses to listen. At least Junior will take
- 18:55Speaker 1: my advice and use it my own, neph You won't
- 19:00Speaker 1: even come and sit and counsel with me because you hate.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Okay here, okay, So so let me ask you this,
- 19:10Speaker 1: uncle Steve. Well, you say that Tommy is the only
- 19:14Speaker 1: person on earth that claims that I'm a hate Please
- 19:18Speaker 1: make note of that. Go ahead you okay, so we'll
- 19:22Speaker 1: we'll go put a pen in that. Okay, don't think
- 19:30Speaker 1: you said after that. We're doing that morey, All right, Steve,
- 19:41Speaker 1: So you know you you talked about um everything concerning Tommy.
- 19:46Speaker 1: This is what I want to ask you. Are you
- 19:48Speaker 1: proud of him? Because Tommy has reached a certain amount
- 19:51Speaker 1: of notoriety and success separate and apart from you and
- 19:55Speaker 1: on his own. So where where is the praise? World?
- 20:01Speaker 1: For Tommy is very successful because, like I said, success
- 20:07Speaker 1: is not determined by how far you've got, but how
- 20:11Speaker 1: far you've come from where you started. So Tommy is successful,
- 20:16Speaker 1: and I've said it on several occasions. It's just that
- 20:19Speaker 1: I don't praise him as much as he praises himself.
- 20:23Speaker 1: And so it seems as though I don't praise him often,
- 20:26Speaker 1: But neither neither do any of you, because none of
- 20:29Speaker 1: you can possibly praise him more than he praises itself.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I try to when you see me, Hallelujah town at
- 20:39Speaker 1: every senior day, right after the prank, right befold the
- 20:46Speaker 1: prank every sec This is the replay of the prank,
- 20:51Speaker 1: then the prank itself. Okay, dude, you don't You don't
- 20:55Speaker 1: like the prank on the show, And maybe that's what
- 21:04Speaker 1: it is. It's number one. He don't like that because
- 21:06Speaker 1: I'm attached to it is, That's what it is. No,
- 21:09Speaker 1: that's absolutely fine with me because that's attached to the
- 21:12Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show exactly. But you wouldn't even hand
- 21:16Speaker 1: a way to play the little part. Why hate you
- 21:19Speaker 1: and Walmart calling me? I'm in Walmart thanks to the
- 21:22Speaker 1: beautiful Yolanda Adams who gave me a foot in the
- 21:25Speaker 1: door and showed me some love and connect me with
- 21:27Speaker 1: the right people, and I'm you know, being in Walmart. Boy,
- 21:29Speaker 1: they wouldn't even know who you are. The prank was
- 21:32Speaker 1: if it wasn't for this show, if it wasn't for
- 21:34Speaker 1: your lant to act hate on my sister, No, no,
- 21:39Speaker 1: if it wasn't for you, no, I wouldn't have been
- 21:42Speaker 1: speaking of the prank. Guys, it's coming up. Run that
- 21:45Speaker 1: prank back right after this. You're listening to Steve Harvey
- 21:49Speaker 1: Morning Show. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 21:52Speaker 1: we'll have some entertainment news for you. But right now
- 21:55Speaker 1: it is time for the nephew that we love, nephew
- 21:58Speaker 1: Tommy to that rank back what you got love? Will
- 22:02Speaker 1: you breath feed my baby? No? No, man, you ain't
- 22:08Speaker 1: doing nothing right back, cat, will your breastfeed my baby? Hello? Man?
- 22:15Speaker 1: Uh yeah, this is a man. Uh hey, man, this, this, this,
- 22:22Speaker 1: this and uh uh this who this man? Yeah, he
- 22:30Speaker 1: gave me your phone. I know you don't know me,
- 22:32Speaker 1: but gave me your number. Who he's talking about on
- 22:36Speaker 1: the south side. Yeah, yeah, on the south side. He uh,
- 22:42Speaker 1: he gave me your number. Man. I'm going through something.
- 22:44Speaker 1: I thought you might be to help me out, man,
- 22:46Speaker 1: because we'll see then my girl, I don't know, man,

- 35:01Speaker 1: this is a trip with the news, starting out with
- 35:03Speaker 1: sad news. A former First Lady, Barbara Bush has passed.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Just a few days ago, it was announced that Mrs
- 35:09Speaker 1: Bush was in failing health. We announced it right here
- 35:11Speaker 1: on our show, suffering from congestive heart failure and not
- 35:14Speaker 1: seeking any more medical treatment. She wanted to go home.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Barbara Bush was the wife of one president the mother
- 35:19Speaker 1: of another. She was ninety two years old. Barbara Bush
- 35:22Speaker 1: to be funeralized on Saturday in Houston and flagged the
- 35:25Speaker 1: Lobe of the Nation applying at half staff. Investigated for
- 35:28Speaker 1: the National Transportation Safety Board taking apart the engine of
- 35:31Speaker 1: a Southwest Airlines jet that was forced to make an
- 35:34Speaker 1: emergency landing yesterday in Philadelphia. The engine or poorly blew
- 35:37Speaker 1: apart at thirty thousand feet, and officials say that one
- 35:40Speaker 1: person was killed by flying shrapnel. She was partially pulled
- 35:43Speaker 1: through the window. They're gonna pull all the way through,
- 35:45Speaker 1: but some of the passengers managed to pull her back.
- 35:47Speaker 1: At least seven other people were injured. The plane, heading
- 35:49Speaker 1: from New York to Dallas, was one forty three passengers
- 35:52Speaker 1: and five crew aboard. In light of that embarrassing and
- 35:56Speaker 1: many say racist incident as Starbucks and Philadelphia recently, company
- 36:00Speaker 1: officials say the coffee cafe chain is going to be
- 36:02Speaker 1: shutting down eight thousand of its company owned stores on
- 36:05Speaker 1: the afternoon of May twenty nine for mandatory racial biased training.
- 36:09Speaker 1: Is to involve some one employees, and not only Starbucks
- 36:13Speaker 1: retail employees, it also includes those working in the corporate offices.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Officials say the training is to involve former Attorney General
- 36:19Speaker 1: Eric Holder, the Double A CP, and the Anti Defamation League.
- 36:24Speaker 1: The administration remains firmly behind air strikes that reigned on
- 36:27Speaker 1: Sury Syria last week by the US end its allies,
- 36:31Speaker 1: and while the Russians and Syrians still insisting Damascus did
- 36:34Speaker 1: not use chemical gas to kill innocent civilians. US Ambassador
- 36:37Speaker 1: to the UN, Nikki Haley, said, Hey, caramels, don't lie.
- 36:40Speaker 1: The pictures of dead children were not fake news. They
- 36:43Speaker 1: were the result of the Syrian regimes barbaric in humanity.
- 36:48Speaker 1: I spoke to the President and he said, if the
- 36:50Speaker 1: Syrian regime uses this poisonous gas again, the United States
- 36:55Speaker 1: is locked and loaded. When our president draws a red line,
- 36:59Speaker 1: are resident enforces the red line? You have Secretary General
- 37:03Speaker 1: Caterrist calls chemical weapon tax abhorrent. Admit all the praise
- 37:07Speaker 1: Beyonce has been getting over a performance at the Coachella Concert.
- 37:10Speaker 1: The Supertown to Texas Beauty Given Back, Queen Bays Foundation
- 37:13Speaker 1: donating one hundred thousand dollars in scholarship money to students
- 37:16Speaker 1: at four historically of black colleges and university. According to
- 37:19Speaker 1: the Daily Challenge, Beyonce's providing twenty five grand to each
- 37:23Speaker 1: of what each student wanted to Xavier in Louisiana, one
- 37:26Speaker 1: at Wilberforce in Ohio, another Tuskegeon, Alabama, and the fourth
- 37:30Speaker 1: epithun Click mccookman rather in Florida. Finally, Today's International Amateur
- 37:34Speaker 1: Radio Day. Yeah, that's what's sometimes. We'll be back with
- 37:37Speaker 1: Mart to table in today's Trending Topics. Twenty is after
- 37:40Speaker 1: the hour on the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 37:43Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Show. We are still celebrating Compton's
- 37:48Speaker 1: own Kendrick Lamar. Congratulations again, Kendrick Lamar. Yeah, he just
- 37:55Speaker 1: won the Pulitzer Prize in Music for his fourth album,
- 37:58Speaker 1: Damn and Why. That's an impressive feat on its own
- 38:02Speaker 1: Kendrick's honor is even more special because he is the
- 38:05Speaker 1: very first white rapper, yes and non classic or jazz
- 38:10Speaker 1: artists to win this award. The first Pulit Surprise for
- 38:13Speaker 1: Music was given out back in nineteen three. More than
- 38:17Speaker 1: works were submitted, but only twenty one were honored with prizes.
- 38:21Speaker 1: H Kendrick also is gonna win fifteen thousand dollars in prize. Monty, Hello,
- 38:29Speaker 1: grand that's really good. That's really really good. Yeah, that's
- 38:33Speaker 1: absolutely amazing. What I'm right? Are you? Are you gonna
- 38:39Speaker 1: what you're trying to get? A prize? The minimum dollar
- 38:44Speaker 1: amount you need, Shirley to walk away from this radio
- 38:48Speaker 1: show and everything. The minimum dollar amount, and you would
- 38:52Speaker 1: walk the absolute minimum. I'll say five million, five million,
- 38:58Speaker 1: you would walk, would walk for two? Yeah, I'll walk
- 39:02Speaker 1: for two Now, that's what I'm asking. What's the minimum number? Well,
- 39:07Speaker 1: the minimum honestly is five all right? Trying to Yeah, yeah,
- 39:14Speaker 1: I mean if you gave me to, if you gave
- 39:16Speaker 1: me to, I would walk. Yes, Carlin, would you walk
- 39:19Speaker 1: out of here for two million dollars? Yes? Yes, one million? Yes,
- 39:22Speaker 1: I'm out tracks you on running. Let's go right now.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Julior two million leave radio. I'm talking about Teddy's microphones.
- 39:31Speaker 1: I just walk't know the words say on this show,
- 39:41Speaker 1: Come on, how much for the nephew Tommy? Would you
- 39:44Speaker 1: walk out of here? Five million dollars? Yes? Five? But
- 39:50Speaker 1: it ain't gonna be too. Ain't gonna be too. It
- 39:59Speaker 1: ain't on me? Who you think you? He's a nephew? Okay,
- 40:09Speaker 1: man especially text me. But I've been here so long?
- 40:15Speaker 1: What the hell are you adding up time? You? You
- 40:17Speaker 1: can't get none of that. Man, nobody to pay you forbid,
- 40:21Speaker 1: saying that's why my number? What's five? You asked me?
- 40:24Speaker 1: What was my minimum? I told you. And the only
- 40:27Speaker 1: room you've lasted this long is called you, my sister.
- 40:31Speaker 1: So that ain't hate it all? That ain't that's a fact.
- 40:38Speaker 1: All right? Coming up at thirty four after the hour,
- 40:41Speaker 1: Carl and I are going to discuss Cardie B and
- 40:43Speaker 1: Nicki Minaj. We'll have that conversation. This is woman Crushed Wednesday.
- 40:47Speaker 1: You're listening to Steve Harvey Morning Show. So Steve, it's
- 40:52Speaker 1: woman Crushed Wednesday. Okay, we call this w C w
- 40:56Speaker 1: uh and and we can all agree that we've all
- 40:59Speaker 1: been crushing on B and say since she killed it
- 41:01Speaker 1: to Coachella over the weekend. But there is also a
- 41:05Speaker 1: discussion going on on social media. Steve Harvey, f M,
- 41:08Speaker 1: what what is it, Carla, what's going on? Okay? So
- 41:12Speaker 1: there's been this discussion on social media about Nicki Minaj
- 41:16Speaker 1: and Cardi B. So you know Nicki Minaj, she just
- 41:18Speaker 1: released some new tracks from her forthcoming album, and we
- 41:24Speaker 1: know Cardie B is engaged to offset from the me
- 41:26Speaker 1: Goes and they're expecting their first child together. So Nicki
- 41:29Speaker 1: congratulated Cardie on all her success. So then there's a
- 41:34Speaker 1: song the Megos have called Motorsport featuring Cardi B and
- 41:37Speaker 1: Nicki Minaj. The jam is so yeah, it's a fire
- 41:41Speaker 1: jams yes. Okay. So Cardie did an interview about the
- 41:45Speaker 1: song and it was kind of like things start rumbling
- 41:49Speaker 1: from that. There was some beef going on from the interview.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Nikki had issues as to what was said about how
- 41:58Speaker 1: they all came together for the collaboro of the song Motorsport.
- 42:03Speaker 1: So that was an issue. But then Curdie B was
- 42:07Speaker 1: trying to squash that rumor and Nicki was trying to
- 42:10Speaker 1: squash it basically saying that there is no beef and
- 42:14Speaker 1: So Cardie did her last interview and just basically said,
- 42:17Speaker 1: there's no beef. If you ain't sleeping with my man
- 42:20Speaker 1: or messing with my money, I ain't got no beef
- 42:22Speaker 1: with you. So now the discussion is, this is the question, Shirley,
- 42:26Speaker 1: why can't we support and love both Cardie B and
- 42:29Speaker 1: Nicki Minash Because it seems like social media they're taking
- 42:33Speaker 1: sides like you gotta pick well one female rapper over
- 42:37Speaker 1: the other. Right, and not to interrupt you, here's the
- 42:40Speaker 1: other deal to Carla. Why why are they pitting these
- 42:45Speaker 1: two female rappers against each other. It can be a
- 42:48Speaker 1: ton of male rappers. It can be Kendrick Lamar, it
- 42:51Speaker 1: can be Kanye, it can be Themi Goes, it can
- 42:54Speaker 1: be all the men, but only you got the two. Yeah, everybody,
- 42:58Speaker 1: but you got only to top uh female rappers in
- 43:02Speaker 1: the game. Now you're pitting them against each other. They
- 43:05Speaker 1: have to fight anything with each other. It doesn't seem
- 43:09Speaker 1: like some feelings that were hurt. But what Nikki said,
- 43:12Speaker 1: the feelings were hurt behind the interview. But some people
- 43:17Speaker 1: feel that, you know, Nikki is saying that Cardi B
- 43:21Speaker 1: is not showing her respect, but they feel like, well, Nikki,
- 43:24Speaker 1: you kind of went through that with a little Here's
- 43:29Speaker 1: the problem on the internet. This is my honest opinion
- 43:33Speaker 1: of the Internet and blogs. It's perpetuated by small minded people.
- 43:42Speaker 1: Small minded people dwell in controversy because they think I'm
- 43:48Speaker 1: right because you're wrong. See that's the way they look
- 43:52Speaker 1: at it. If I'm right, whatever you say, you must
- 43:57Speaker 1: be wrong. There is no comp reminds in small minded people.
- 44:03Speaker 1: That is, it's either or it's black or white. It
- 44:06Speaker 1: is no great, but that is a great. But small
- 44:10Speaker 1: minded people dwell in controversy. So that's why Now the
- 44:13Speaker 1: Pittany's two sisters was Nikki on the guilt, Cardie hell
- 44:18Speaker 1: respect and Cardi all respect Nick. They respect each other. See.
- 44:23Speaker 1: But once the small minded person picks aside and you
- 44:27Speaker 1: say the other side, here it comes because if I'm
- 44:32Speaker 1: right about the way I'm feeling, you must be wrong.
- 44:35Speaker 1: You've got to be careful when you're talking with small
- 44:38Speaker 1: minded people because you get caught up in that. Well.
- 44:42Speaker 1: There is no middle ground with small minded people. Wow,
- 44:46Speaker 1: so you have to choose in their mind. But but
- 44:48Speaker 1: I like Jill Scott and I like Ericaba. Do you
- 44:51Speaker 1: know what I'm saying? I can Yeah, why do you
- 44:55Speaker 1: have to choose? I like Marvin Gaye and Lutheran come
- 44:59Speaker 1: on like George then Lebron hey debate and that they're
- 45:05Speaker 1: making that a debate. And I'm almost tired of that
- 45:07Speaker 1: debate because as I watched Lebron in his fifteenth season
- 45:13Speaker 1: be better in fifteen than he was in one, nine, eight,
- 45:17Speaker 1: eleven or six, I'm starting to look at this dude like,
- 45:21Speaker 1: WHOA just a different kind of animal here. Yeah, so
- 45:25Speaker 1: let us know what you think. Okay, if you want
- 45:27Speaker 1: to get in on this discussion, go to all of
- 45:29Speaker 1: our social media pages at Steve Harvey f M. Okay,
- 45:33Speaker 1: thank you, Nephew Tommy as a prank phone called coming

- 55:57Speaker 1: book love who long time you gotta little subject her
- 56:03Speaker 1: mama and daddy gets to go. Dear Stephen Shirley, I'm
- 56:07Speaker 1: a forty one year old married man. My wife and
- 56:09Speaker 1: I have been married for nineteen years. We've also been
- 56:13Speaker 1: living with her parents for the entire nineteen years. It's
- 56:17Speaker 1: not a financial thing. We are good on that front.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Her parents are also financially stable and healthy. When I
- 56:25Speaker 1: met my wife, she was living with her parents. She
- 56:28Speaker 1: told me once we got married, we had to live
- 56:31Speaker 1: with her parents, but it would only be temporary. She
- 56:34Speaker 1: would only be there for three years. She said we
- 56:37Speaker 1: would only be there for three years. I didn't understand it,
- 56:40Speaker 1: but I agree to it. Here we are nineteen years later,
- 56:45Speaker 1: and we're still living with her parents. I want to
- 56:48Speaker 1: be alone with my wife in our own home, but
- 56:51Speaker 1: my wife does not want to leave. I can't figure
- 56:54Speaker 1: out what it is. My wife cooks and cleans for
- 56:57Speaker 1: everyone in the house, and she takes care of me
- 57:00Speaker 1: the way a wife should. Her mother taught her well. Recently,
- 57:04Speaker 1: the parents went on vacation, and it was like being
- 57:07Speaker 1: in heaven. I was walking around in my underwear, laying
- 57:11Speaker 1: on the couch, watching TV, and playing my music as
- 57:15Speaker 1: loud as I wanted to. I miss having my freedom,
- 57:19Speaker 1: and I desperately want to move, but I might have
- 57:21Speaker 1: to lose my wife in the process. Either she moves
- 57:25Speaker 1: with me or I'm going to move without her. I
- 57:28Speaker 1: don't want to have to give my wife an ultimatum.
- 57:32Speaker 1: What would you do? Please advise? Wow, how this has
- 57:37Speaker 1: lasted for nineteen years. I have no idea. I cannot
- 57:40Speaker 1: imagine this. Um, why didn't you guys leave a long,
- 57:43Speaker 1: long time ago? Um, this is what makes it difficult.
- 57:47Speaker 1: So much time has gone by. I mean, uh, so's
- 57:51Speaker 1: it's gonna be much harder now. But it's not impossible. Okay,
- 57:55Speaker 1: it's definitely not impossible. Nothing's impossible, and there is no
- 57:59Speaker 1: time like the present. So I say, start packing. You
- 58:03Speaker 1: have to tell your wife how much you enjoyed her,
- 58:05Speaker 1: how much you enjoyed having your privacy, tell her you
- 58:08Speaker 1: want your own home and you want to spend quality
- 58:12Speaker 1: time alone with her by yourselves. You gotta make her
- 58:15Speaker 1: understand that. You gotta tell her it's good for the marriage,
- 58:19Speaker 1: all of that. Your marriage needs this. You say, you're
- 58:22Speaker 1: it's not a financial thing. You say her parents are
- 58:25Speaker 1: financially stable. They're also healthy. But the thing about it
- 58:29Speaker 1: is is that you agree to this in the beginning. Okay,
- 58:33Speaker 1: it sounds like you just let your wife make all
- 58:35Speaker 1: the decisions and you just went along with saying okay, honey,
- 58:38Speaker 1: whatever whatever, because you wanted her. Well, now it's time to,
- 58:42Speaker 1: you know, step up, be a man and put your
- 58:44Speaker 1: foot down and say, look, I like being with you
- 58:46Speaker 1: by myself. We gotta get out of here. It may
- 58:49Speaker 1: come to the come to a point where you'll have
- 58:52Speaker 1: to give your wife an ultimatum, But in any event,
- 58:55Speaker 1: you need to get out of that house or her parents.
- 58:57Speaker 1: Definitely need to get out of that house. Talk to
- 58:59Speaker 1: your wife, see where her head is. If she's not
- 59:03Speaker 1: with you, you're gonna have to go on your own.
- 59:05Speaker 1: Who wants to be a grown man and live with
- 59:07Speaker 1: their parents? That doesn't make sense. When will you ever
- 59:10Speaker 1: be the king of your own castle? Steve Love? When
- 59:16Speaker 1: you do the big side at the beginning, it's a letter,
- 59:21Speaker 1: you know, some of these letters. I would never right.
- 59:24Speaker 1: I'm nothing to do it. I'm a forty one year
- 59:26Speaker 1: old married man. Him and his wife been together nineteen
- 59:30Speaker 1: years and they've been living with her parents the entire
- 59:33Speaker 1: nineteen years. It ain't financial. Everybody in the house good.
- 59:39Speaker 1: But when she told him when he got married, they
- 59:41Speaker 1: had to live with their parents, but it'd only be temporary.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Well that's until they die. See what she said, It's
- 59:52Speaker 1: gonna just temporary. What she meant was just until they die. Well,
- 59:58Speaker 1: they ask, is still him? Now? We got a problem.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Now she lied and said that only be for three years.
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: In nineteen years, sixteen motive where she see so every
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: time he hit three, she added three. Now next three.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Here we are nineteen years later, we're still living with
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: her parents. I want to be alone with my wife
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: and our own home, but my wife does not want
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: to leave. Now. I've heard of mama's boy, but I
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: don't know what they call a girl, Mama's girl, mama's girl.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: I heard her daddy's girl. But you don't want to
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: stay with him though. This is extreme. This is an
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: extreme case. And they're healthy too, because they're going on vacation.
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Ain't like they invalids and you're up in here wiping
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: and washing and taking care of and put on the
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: frying them in everything, rolling them down to the stove,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: leaving them out side, putting blankets on their legs. They asked,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: is vacation they're going? Praise it? You ain't even going.
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: My wife cooks and cleans for everybody in the house,
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: and she takes care of me. To wear a wife ship.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Her mama taught her well. Region her parents went on vacation,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: it was like being in heaven. When you said that,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: I thought of the how players, what some who are
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: to rest my aching mind? Oh where there's no time.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Your love is divine. Heaven must be like this. It
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: must be like this. That's what I heard, and that's
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: what your house is when them two old people is gone.
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: It's hard to live in a pieceful house with old people.
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: It is well that it is. They don't watch what
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: you watch on TV. Game the Thrones can't come on
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: in old people. Cut their monsters off. Yeah, you're so right.
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Turn their monsters off. Yeah, turn them housewives off, all
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: him helpers with their breasts out, turn that off to TV. Right,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: your daddy wants to watch a Weston watch on this tap.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: All right, they didn't have assault rifles, but then you
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: had to watch them hang on. Part two is coming up, Steve.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: We're watching the Western with his old way, and we'll
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: be back in twenty three after you're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, let's go, Steve with part two
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: of your response to today's Strawberry letter. Subjects, Her mama
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: and daddy got to well, they got to go because
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: he's been living in nineteen years, and her mom and
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: daddy said it wasn't gonna be but three or temperary.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: They're not dying. They're still here, and I'm telling you
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: it's hard living with old people and they're on vacation.
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: You're having the time of your life. You're walking around
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: in your draws because you can't walk around with your
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: draw with old people in the house because they don't
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: understand it. Put your cones on for you catch your cold.
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Them draws the right side. You don't need nothing, Buggess,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: You're gonna check yourself. This is you and your house.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: You need something. You need to put a blanket on
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: their knees. Yeah, see old people in your house and
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: they stay there. You know, I love my mother in
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: law and father in law. They come to visit theing
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: to stay as long as they walked. But I know
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: my pap love was O pop Lord Western's man, and
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I ain't got no problem with the Western because we
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: got a lot of TV. So now it's hard living
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: in the house now the ain't been on vacation. You
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: in heaven man, walking around in your underwear, laying on
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: the couch watching TV, playing my music loud as I
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: want to, because you can't cut your music off. Why
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: is he got it so loud in there? Sharing because
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: it's will his house, This Willow house. Well, he wanted
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: his music lives. We're supposed to have a music liss
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: cause put on my hair. You're Jackson, So we don't
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: know we're in here. We don't clean up on Saturday
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: mornings at the house. Well, well that's what we're doing
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: in here. You have the house clean. To take the
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: rug out hanging on the line and meet it. We
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: got a house and we're gonna play golf. What did
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: your Well, now we're washing the cars today in the laundry. Now,
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: you gotta clothes line in your backyard. They didn't tell
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: your yard. You got a clothes line in a garden,
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: and you ain't got no more. Damn Gray. They don't
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: put a clothes line in a garden back there and
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: then cut up fifty yelling drum and have he got
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: a bombecue and all the old a friends. It's hard
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: living with that. I miss having my freedom. I desperately
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: want to move, but I might have to lose my
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: wife in the process, either she moves with me or
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: I'm gonna move without hub. I don't want to have
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: to give my wife an ultimatum. That's exactly what has
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: to happen. You have to give your wife an ultimatum.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Because brother, let me say something to you. If you've
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: been married for nineteen years, I'm assuming you got married
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: at what twenty five? Well, I'm old. Take that nineteen
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: or the one that's twenty one is twenty years like
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: twenty three years old, two years old. Since you've been
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: twenty two, you have not been able to live the
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: life as a free, fully adult male in your own home.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: And you enjoyed that when they went on vacation. You
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: deserve to have that life, and she deserves to come
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: with you. But if she want to stay there with
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: her pets, go ahead. You ain't got a divorce, he
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: just move, get your own place. You ain't got a divorce,
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: You ain't got a file for separation and nothing. Y'all
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: actually in love with you. You just gotta go, get
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: your own place. Invite over. We're sleeping over here tonight, baby,
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: that's all. Don't get your own place, don't don't file
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: for divorce or none of that. Just what she said,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: where are you going? I'm going home? What you mean home?
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: I got me an apartment. You told me three years.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: It's been nineteen years. I have asked you to move.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: You don't want to leave. I love you, you're my wife,
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: you're a girl. You stay here. I'm gonna be over here.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: This is my place. I got a flash green and infrigerate.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: I'm good. I got some music. But Steve, what are
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: her parents thing that he moved out? And what are
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: they saying to her? So? So so so he just
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: gonna be a bachelor. You're gonna him that, you're gonna
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: he's gonna just go and move out and just be
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: a little fast, asked Batchelor. Well, Ms, miss hug Miss Henderson,
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: y'all was on. We was gonna post let y'all live
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: without three years. Well, what's wrong with us living here?
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: We cleans people. That's my husband. I want to go
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: live with him. Well, you're going over there and live
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: and leave us over here, we'll be just fine. I
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: guess yes. I'm pretty sure the little crackhead boys up
- 1:08:03Speaker 1: the street have been watching us. We're trying to fight
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: him off till y'all can make it back. But he's
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: my husband, Mommy, But where's your mom and your daddy?
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: We know your folk. He come along. We know you
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: get another husband. You can't get another mommy. I don't
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: want another husband. I want him. We're going over there
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: with him. Man, Well, you guys are healthy and you
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: have enough money to take care of yourselves. Were like
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: yell cooking and yell cleaning. Now we gave your life
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: and put you all the way through the college. And
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: now be cause you haven't met this ball head bass
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: that she wants to get slave wand Mommy, I don't
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: know what he is. And he's a good love husband
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: the longest to stay here, but going over there and
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: you're gonna ruin everything me and you heard me and
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: your daddy probably just get sick and fall off. But
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: you just came back from vacation, and we we should
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: have stayed if we even know Johnny and Anus, it's
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: not that. It's not that I just think we're we're adults.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: We should live on our own. We'll go live on
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: your own in out of town jif we're talking about it.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: We'll be able to here and hold off the crackhead
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: till you get him. Can you tell the police you
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: leavening park in front of house. We gotta get out
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: of here. Listen email at your Instagram. That's your thoughts
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: on today's strawberry letter at my girls. Surely you know
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: your daddy find out your going, he's probably gonna start
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: to smoking the crack. You know. Don't forget to join
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: me this Thursday at one thirty pm Eastern Time for
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: the Strawberry Letter Live After Show on Facebook. All right,
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: coming up in ten minutes. Uh, well, Steve, Philip Bailey
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: of Earth Wind and Fire is cool, unlike you with
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: Taylor Swift's version of September. You're listening to the Steve
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Steve, we know you love Taylor
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Swift as an artist in everything, but we also know
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: that you're not feeling her new version of September the
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: Earth Wind Fire Classic. We know that we heard you
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: go in about that. According to TMZ, Yeah, legendary singer
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: and group member Philip Bailey, we all know him. He
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: weighed in on Taylor's um he calls it her acoustic
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: country rendition of September if that song was made in
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: ninety eight. By the way, Uh, Philip said that music
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: is free like that. Uh. He told Taylor ain't got
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: nothing but love for you hashtag freedom and music. So, Steve, uh,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: what do you think about that? We kind of heard
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: it a little bit, but he's he's one of the
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: members members, member of earth Winding five. He ain't the faint.
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: I'm an earth Winding five. Fat. You don't tell me
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: how to feel about No Album. He was a high voice,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: Do I got he readson? He all that he might
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: do everything. But this ain't his call. Why are you
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: so mad? This is for us to decide. Well, Taylor
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: is not going to ask you. She's an artist, so
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: she did what she felt. Okay, well not not now.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: And I'm a fan and I'm doing what I want.
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: I want to hear both. I'm critical, go ahead and
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: both you see. Yeah, let's go watch Horns. He can
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: sing it. Hey, remember what come on black Beard? That's
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: my part? Okay, yeah, all right, that's e. You better
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: know it. And in that club, do you ad n?
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: He was changing lumbness, contender shootings, just smock take alf
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: and just trust me and my teeth. This damn what
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: never wasn't glad? Okay? Hashtag hashtag freedom and music for
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: the music. Huh yeah, well, I don't give damn what
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: Philip Baby said. Philippe bought No Damn Album. I walked
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: to the stove and bought that out. Philippe walking away,
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: But Philippine Philippe bought Now Water earth Win the five
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: about It I want. I got two three of someone Philip.
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: Don't tell me how to feel it. Boy, go you
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: go get it. I got the earth Winning five That's
- 1:14:10Speaker 1: the Way of the World album, the one I walked
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: to Cucumber Castle and got it. I got it in
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: plastic in my office right now. But Steve, I gotta
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: take an issue with you because Stevie Wonder did the
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: same thing defending Bruno Mars's music. When people criticize Bruno Mars,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: I agree with him, Yes you did, but he did
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: a good job of it. You don't slaughter a hit
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: and didn't expect me to go along with it because
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: you want to change it. You don't get this damn
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: banjo after song Banjo and you think it is September
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: is not a banjo song. Change from the R and
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: B to the country to that thing ain't fun at all.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: All songs don't transfer that one. Everything can't go country,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: Everything country can't go on be and them to music
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: are closely related. And I've said that before. But some
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: songs are not translatable. Okay, So take one of your
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: other favorite songs and make a country. Let's see. Yeah,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: the love is gone, Earth, wind and Fire, and it
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: starts for a while. Oh no, um yeah, for a while,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: right for love was all they could do. You. We're young,
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: and we knew in a life something right would invite
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: us to begin the day. Something then happened on the
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: way when used to be happy. Say that's awful. You
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: damn write its off because it's not transferable. Hashtag freedom
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: and music though, no hand no, no no, it's freedom
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: of music to make your own. Don't take nothing belong
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: to us and wreck it for you a country. People
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: don't even like that song. But but then Whitney did
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: good when she did, Dollar did some of it can
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: transfer Dolly Pardon voice transferred to witness voice and winning
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: five boys don't translate to Taylor squill and I like Taylor, Yeah,
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: I love Um, what's the one you love? We can holiday? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: we can. You won't my love? Man? You can't do now?
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: All right? Listen, um. Fox News anchor Sean Hannity is
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: in some hot water right now. He's been identified as
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: Michael Cohen's mystery client. Will talk about that at the
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: top of the hour. You're listening to the Steve Hardy
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: Morning Show. All right, Uh, this story right here is incredible.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: People are are still talking about radio and Fox News
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: TV host Sean Hannity. Uh, he's been identified as the
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: mystery client of President Donald Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, hanned,
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: he address, yeah, yeah, yeah. He addressed the revelation during
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: his syndicated radio show on Monday. How did this blow
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: up to be such a big deal? Really, the Fox
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: News host said, um so. The revelation that the Sean
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: that Sean Hannity was a client of Cohen's came in
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: a court filing. Hannity said he has used numerous lawyers
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: for advice on various matters, including Cohen, but he never
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: received an invoice or never paid Cohen legal fees. So,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: I mean, really, what kind of lawyer works for free?
- 1:17:58Speaker 1: The point is he's been taught talking about, you know,
- 1:18:01Speaker 1: agreeing with the president on how he didn't like the
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: fact that the Feds came in and uh, you know,
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: ransacked his apartment and searched it and all that, never
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: once mentioning that he was one of Michael Cohen's clients.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: That came out in court. Yea, Sean Hannity yeah, Sean Hannity,
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: he never once mentioned it. He's reporting on the story,
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: agreeing with the president, you know, but never said one
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: thing that he was one of Michael Cohen's clients that
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: came out in court. So, Steve, I gotta ask you
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: what kind of lawyer works were free? There is no lawyer, yea,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: There is no group of lawyers that would claim you
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: as a secret uh client as ordered by a judge
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: in a court case and your name came up, and
- 1:18:45Speaker 1: you say you've never sought any advice from him except
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: on real estate. Boy boy boy getting out of Hannity.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: But you know this whole thing. And then for this
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: is this is Hannity is Donald Trump's personal lap dog.
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: He sits there. I don't care what the president do
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: here in full support. The president. Can't do any wrong,
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: president can't make a mistake in this guy's eyes. Obviously,
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: this president has made tons of mistakes, but to Hannity,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: he's never done anything wrong. And it's all left wing
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: liberal bs man, All these cats is in here together.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: I've told y'all, these these two big boys, and Hannity
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: is not really a big boy though. Yeah, oh he's
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: the woman be Bill Riley was the big boy. He
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: he here in the top of the Fox game by default.
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: You know. See, Bill Riley was getting respected by other people.
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Other people would talk with him. You know. The President
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: sat down with Bill. President President Obama sat down with him.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: President Obama took picture with Bill Riley's kids. Bill Roley SA,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: he's a fine man. He doesn't think he's a good president,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: but he's a fine man. It's very kind to his children.
- 1:20:05Speaker 1: Ain't nobody's sitting with Hannity. Nobody, nobody because he's not
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: a broad case. He's not. He's just he was trying
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: to ask you something. I was just asking with all
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: the stuff we see on TV with the porn star,
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: all of this, if any of this is gonna get
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: him impeached, No, this, none of this has anything to
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: do with impeach. His base is stronger than ever. Well,
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: none of it has to do anything with impeachment. He
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: didn't do anything in office. All of this was pride
- 1:20:33Speaker 1: to him becoming president. Just listen to me. Eight more coming. Yeah,
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: you keep saying that there's thirty out there. It's the
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: eight that's got the courage. Oh, it's way more than thirty.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: I got news for y'all billion the playboy coming. There
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: are more women to come out. He's seventy now lone
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: has du being rich. What when he was a Democrat. Well, yeah,
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: you've been saying it. I'm telling you, man, it's it's
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: it's gonna be more. But the sad thing is the
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: Republican Party is so committed to the Republican Party people,
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: it does not matter. They were considered to be and
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: always touted themselves as the moral party, the moral majority.
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: We are the party of morality. What you found out
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: is since the president is now Donald Trump, morality is
- 1:21:39Speaker 1: out the window. There is no way that they invent
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: evangelical fan religious base would have backed a president like this.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: They didn't and after he got in, initially they no,
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: but now he the president, they all back because they
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: like being power the back man. Yeah, this is this
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: is ridiculous. It's ridiculous. And and it looks like, I mean,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: you know, he might win again. Yeah, you know. Yeah,
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: his constituents, they are behind him, his approval rating, what
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: has gone up. He might just win again. They don't
- 1:22:23Speaker 1: care about the stormy Daniels of the world, right, they don't.
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: They don't, they don't know about it. Yeah, is this
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: about tax laws and things and they and the economy?
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: You know, yeah, can can the young Kennedy kid run
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: against him? The one that's the state of the Union.
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: If I was in Kennedy, I wouldn't come nowhere neither day. Well,
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: I mean and for real that I've never seen anything
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: like what has happened to the Kennedy's one family experienced
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: that much tragedy. I mean over this office. I ain't
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: gonna be in it. Here's the other thing, too, is
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: there's no one on the Democratic side that has come out,
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: you know, um to the forefront to even look like
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: they can contend with him, you know, with Trump. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: I mean there's been talking about yeah, uh, Corey um book, yeah,
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: and then Kamala Harris from California, you know, but there
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: has been no no viable because and because we're making
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: the same mistakes that the Republicans made with with Obama.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: We're spending all of our time hating Donald Trump so
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: much that we don't have a candidate lined up, and
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: we're gonna line up a bunch of nothings and he
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: gonna get in again. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Because but I
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: don't care who they put it in. Next time you
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: vote for this, dude, you really don't. All right, we'll
- 1:24:01Speaker 1: have more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right after this.

- 1:24:20Speaker 1: Did you see Kevin Hard talking smack on the on
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: the sideline? They say, what you do? You don't play basketball?
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: Tell you jokes and do your little workout. Make your
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: millions at the movie theater. Stay off the court talking
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: to him. Tall as pet gonna get you. You're talking
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: to tall as Pete. He was talking someone smack to
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: the way, but the way put on the clinic by
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: many did man the sixers? Huh yeah, yeah, you just
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: you don't need to get them guys, no more motivation?
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: Did not go ahead? You know what I'm saying. No,
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: don't kill don't give him no more motivation. Come on,
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: come on, clean us walk down here, Kevin check this,
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: my dude. Let me do some own air mentory. You
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: wanted the biggest movie stars in the world right now,
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: Be that you wanted the lions of the greats walking
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: around and stand up right now. Be that you wanted
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: the funniest dudes out there. Be that you workout videos,
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: is inspirational? Be that now be that Joe ass off
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: them side lines, talking to them, tell people, But Steve,
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: somebody gonna come over there. Wipe they booty off on
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: your face? So crazy. Now I'm on Kevin's Instagram on
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: page y'all gotta see his face. He said, this is
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: the face I made after Dwyane Wade gave me the death.
- 1:26:07Speaker 1: Stair asked me if I had enough. I didn't know
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: what to do, so I just grabbed my phone and started,
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: you better leave alone. And they're going back down. They
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: headed to Miami. Is it too early to predict any winners? Yeah,
- 1:26:27Speaker 1: it's one and one. Take all that red, white and
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: blue stuff off. He had to hold the whole woman bone.
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: Take all of them the tight as, pass off the sixers,
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: and he's down for his team. I love it. I'm
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: done with I'm just beautiful. Yeah, stially having a hell
- 1:26:45Speaker 1: of yield. Yeah, ws word on five point three. W
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: d A sound like Philly to me? Got all that
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: Champ went hum. I was hauling my head off that
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: super Bowl. Come over Philly. They came through for me.
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: I got time to holler, fulfill it. I'm from Cleveland.
- 1:27:08Speaker 1: But now this basketball thing, playoff basketball, a little bit different,
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: and I think that inexperience is gonna hurt them. That's
- 1:27:18Speaker 1: all it is. They got some great ballers up there
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: in Philly, and they're young, and they're athletic. It's all
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: outdoors and that Boys Simmons, this boys outstanding. He's my
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: vote for Rookie of the Year too, even though he
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: had like a red shirt year. Still the first year
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: he played, I think he's Rookie of the Year too.
- 1:27:35Speaker 1: But I think next year, man, they're gonna be held
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: to pay for up there in Philly. They're gonna be hard,
- 1:27:40Speaker 1: but they need that other year because this playoff basketball
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: way down there talking to Oh, it's so you can't
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: get a momentum swing and playoff basketball, the coaches ain't
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: gonna let you get on the runs like you're doing
- 1:27:53Speaker 1: uh in regular season because it and and and Philly
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: is an emotional team because they're young. They get on
- 1:27:59Speaker 1: them runs, they get crazy with it. But between the playoffs,
- 1:28:02Speaker 1: with the defense, the timeouts and the TV timeous, yeah,
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: see the TV timeous, all of that stops momentum. So
- 1:28:10Speaker 1: now you into that half court set, and that's not
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: where they specialized, not in half court. More of the
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up after this. You're listening
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Chloe Kardashian, congratulations again

- 1:28:42Speaker 1: Monday on Instagram, writing, our little girl True Thompson, that's
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: t r u E. Thompson named after the baby. Daddy
- 1:28:49Speaker 1: has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with love.
- 1:28:53Speaker 1: Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family.
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: Mommy and Daddy love you, True Chris jen Or her mom.
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: Chloe's mom explained that the name is really her grandfather's name.
- 1:29:06Speaker 1: On her dad's side, his name was True. You're gonna
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: love this name, Steve True Otis Come on, yeah, True
- 1:29:17Speaker 1: otis Houghton James Hawks. Anyway, So, um, Chloe and uh
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: NBA player Tristan Thompson welcomed their daughter on last Thursday,
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: So congratulations to them again and yeah, yeah, I hope
- 1:29:35Speaker 1: they're working it over. Yeah, I mean yeah, And I'm
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: happy for her because she had so many issues in
- 1:29:42Speaker 1: her first marriage with having children and everything. Yeah, then
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: stay out in the vatica. Man, Well, Brotha wasn't the problem.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: It's all I'm damn peels to stay in the in
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: the amount of money spent in the brothel, there's something
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: like that. You know you all right? This topic is
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: also trending. Guys. T I is calling for a boycott
- 1:30:22Speaker 1: on Starbucks. He he wants to see Starbucks sales slow
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: to a drip until the company takes real action to
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: address issues of employee bias. Of course we know this
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: is not Well, they fired the manager. Yeah she's out
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: of there. But he's talking about star all Starbucks. He said.
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: This is in the first time. Um of course said
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: he's tried to tell people how to vote with your dollar.
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: He previously called for a boycott of Houston's restaurant, which
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: he later lifted. You can go to our social media
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: page and uh, let us know if you're planning on
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: boycotting Starbucks. So what about black people that I want
- 1:30:56Speaker 1: to Starbucks? Well, I knew that Magic Johnson owned owned
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: Starbucks is not a franchise, I don't. I don't believe.
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: But changed Magic was the only outside person. Yeah, I
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: don't think. You know. I'm all for our rights, man,
- 1:31:15Speaker 1: and getting together with our rights also like for I
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: like to be organized and unified with what we're going
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: to do about situations purpose and just you know, yeah,
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: I mean, you know what, what's the plan? What's the
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: end all goal? Because if it's just for employee what
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: you say, Sherman, all he wants to end employee bias,
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: employee bias is people and and if if black people
- 1:31:47Speaker 1: come into the star into the stories, he doesn't want them,
- 1:31:50Speaker 1: you know. Program. Yeah, I looked at differently. That's not
- 1:31:53Speaker 1: employed biases are well, unless he's saying employees are biased
- 1:31:57Speaker 1: towards yeah, customers, that's good. Yes, then that's a good thing.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: So just go to Semi Lem to get your coffee. Now,
- 1:32:06Speaker 1: I mean, where is we're gonna get the comfort? I
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: mean Dona Donuts got the best McDonald's. All right, coming
- 1:32:12Speaker 1: up our last break of the day and Steve's closing remarks.
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: You're listening to the show, all right, here we are
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: last break of the day. It is time Steve to
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: spread the word, spread the knowledge. In closing remarks today,
- 1:32:31Speaker 1: I want to remind you all of something and try
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: to get you to understand very important concept that I've
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: learned about success. If you stay in your comfort zone,
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: that's where you'll fail. If you stay in your comfort zone,
- 1:32:54Speaker 1: that's where you fail. Success is an uncomfortable process. Success
- 1:33:05Speaker 1: requires you to step out of your comfort zone into
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: uncharted territory, untraveled paths, unsailed waters. You're going to have
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: to go where you've never gone. In order to get
- 1:33:23Speaker 1: to where you've never been, You've got to step out
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: of your comfort zone. Look, everybody would like to remain
- 1:33:34Speaker 1: comfortable throughout their life, but convenience is built through inconvenience.
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: It's the only way to have convenience. You you have
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: to be. It has to be built through inconvenience. I
- 1:33:51Speaker 1: don't know if I told you that's the other day,
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: but I was talking with the guy uh at this
- 1:33:57Speaker 1: fashion show. This guy was a tailor, a very young
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: taylor from London, and he told me something that his
- 1:34:04Speaker 1: father told him that stuck with him. He said, why
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: are you young? If you party now, you will work
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: till you die. But why are you young? If you
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: work now, you can party till you die. Did you
- 1:34:26Speaker 1: understand that? If why are you're young, if you party now,
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: you're gonna end up work until you die. But if
- 1:34:36Speaker 1: why are you're young, you work now. When you get old,
- 1:34:41Speaker 1: you can party till you die. That's that's the exchange
- 1:34:46Speaker 1: of life. But that would cause you to step outside
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: of your comfort zone in order to be successful. That's
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: where you have to go, because success is not in
- 1:34:56Speaker 1: the comfort zone. I wish it was. I wish I
- 1:35:00Speaker 1: could lay in the bed longer. I wish I didn't
- 1:35:03Speaker 1: have to work as much as I do. I wish
- 1:35:07Speaker 1: man I could mail it in. I wish I could
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: call in and take off. I wish I had more
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: off days. I wish I could get five months off
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: to travel the world. I wish I could well. In
- 1:35:21Speaker 1: order to make any of those wishes, I won't possible.
- 1:35:24Speaker 1: I got to put it in now. I got to
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: get myself uncomfortable, because convenience is built through inconvenience. It's
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: not the other way around. It never will be. I
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: had some millennials on the show the other day, and
- 1:35:39Speaker 1: we were having no incredible conversation about working and sacrifice
- 1:35:43Speaker 1: and one young man said, when the old people's mind
- 1:35:47Speaker 1: set gonna change, because I don't like coming to work
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: early in the morning. I do better if I can
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: come in around noon. And old people's mind setting needs
- 1:35:57Speaker 1: to get get used to the new way. And the
- 1:35:59Speaker 1: other out that point because with technology, so many people
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: can work from home. Now. Because of technology, people got computers.
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: A lot of work is done on the computer. And
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: I told him, I said, that's great. I said, it's
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: great what you're saying, and it may be eventually it
- 1:36:13Speaker 1: will turn that way. I said, but the problem you
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: got the baby junior, the baby boomer generation, the dudes
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: that's fifty and sixty, my generation, well, we don't want
- 1:36:22Speaker 1: to own the companies. And we didn't get here coming
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: in at twelve. And we're not gonna sit here and
- 1:36:29Speaker 1: watch you come in here twelve thinking you're gonna get it.
- 1:36:32Speaker 1: And I said it for in reality that death doesn't work,
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: young man, I said, I I wish you the best
- 1:36:38Speaker 1: with you're thinking, I said, but why don't you come
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: behind this technology you have with some hard work. If
- 1:36:44Speaker 1: you combine what you all have today with my work ethic,
- 1:36:47Speaker 1: do you know how successful you would be? I said,
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: so I got that you want to come in at noon.
- 1:36:52Speaker 1: But that ain't hard work we out here on the
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: West coast. If you're sleep past six o'clock, I have
- 1:36:59Speaker 1: news for you. M The stock market opened three hours
- 1:37:04Speaker 1: at nine a m. Eastern. The stock market is open.
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: If you sleep in l a to eight, the stock
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: market has been open for two hours. They're making decisions
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: about your life and money. And you you sleep, you're
- 1:37:21Speaker 1: behind the eight ball. It's not how it works. You
- 1:37:24Speaker 1: build a life of convenience to win convenience. Step outside
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: your comfort zone. Get out of it. It will serve
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: you well because if you stay in your comfort zone,
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: that's where you will fail. Get out of your comfort zone.
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: It will serve you well, because if you stay in it,
- 1:37:42Speaker 1: that's where you will fail. I just thought of that.
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: Right there, those are my closery love, drop it up,
- 1:38:02Speaker 1: might go yeah, it's all right, that's it today. That
