- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome. It is Vernict with center, Ted Kruz, Ben Ferguson
- 0:03Speaker 1: with you, and uh, we got a country to say.
- 0:06Speaker 1: I am under the weather. So if I sound a
- 0:08Speaker 1: little bit lower key, I want you to know why,
- 0:11Speaker 1: Senator you're beating me today.
- 0:12Speaker 2: You're somewhat under the weather. But I think you've got
- 0:14Speaker 2: more energy than I do. Well, I think that's probably right.
- 0:18Speaker 2: But but but hopefully neither of us cough cough up
- 0:20Speaker 2: along and we can we can talk about the great
- 0:23Speaker 2: things that that that that are happening in this country,
- 0:26Speaker 2: that are are really threatening our nation, and and that
- 0:29Speaker 2: gives you reason to fight even when you may not
- 0:32Speaker 2: feel great.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Amen to that. We've got a very interesting subject that
- 0:36Speaker 1: has popped up, and that deals with Kamala Harris. Well,
- 0:39Speaker 1: that's right.
- 0:40Speaker 2: Kamala's radical past keeps coming back to haunt her. She's
- 0:43Speaker 2: trying to run a presidential campaign pretending not to be
- 0:46Speaker 2: a radical leftist, and the problem is truth keeps getting
- 0:50Speaker 2: in the way. We now have video and audio of
- 0:54Speaker 2: her at a rally chanting down with deportation and amazingly
- 1:01Speaker 2: doing it right next to discredited hustler Jesse Smolette, and
- 1:07Speaker 2: they're chatting with the whole mob. Up with education, down
- 1:10Speaker 2: with deportation. It's really quite remarkable. We're going to talk
- 1:12Speaker 2: about that. We're also going to talk about a story
- 1:16Speaker 2: unlike any I've ever seen before, which is Ukraine's president
- 1:20Speaker 2: Zelenski came to Pennsylvania and is essentially campaigning for Kamala
- 1:24Speaker 2: Harris and he's attacking Donald Trump and JD. Vance. It
- 1:27Speaker 2: is shocking. I do not recall ever seeing a foreign
- 1:30Speaker 2: leader do this. It's infuriating. We're going to talk about
- 1:33Speaker 2: that too. And finally, we're going to talk about a
- 1:35Speaker 2: hearing yesterday in the Senate Judiciary Committee where the Senate
- 1:38Speaker 2: Democrats once again are attacking the US Supreme Court. And
- 1:41Speaker 2: this hearing was all about the Supreme Court's decision on
- 1:44Speaker 2: presidential immunity, and they're trying to wrongly convince the voters
- 1:48Speaker 2: that it's some sort of outrageous decision that allows Trump
- 1:52Speaker 2: to do whatever he wants. That is a lie. We're
- 1:55Speaker 2: going to talk about that hearing and what the actual
- 1:57Speaker 2: truth is.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very interesting to see that to take place there,
- 2:01Speaker 1: and we'll chat about that in a moment. I want
- 2:03Speaker 1: to tell you real quick about Ammo squared. Ammo squared
- 2:06Speaker 1: is amazing. If you love to shoot, you're gonna love
- 2:09Speaker 1: what I'm about to tell you about Amo squared because
- 2:12Speaker 1: it is the easiest way to stock up on ammunition
- 2:15Speaker 1: at a great price and never have to worry about
- 2:18Speaker 1: not being able to find Ammo. Ever, again, there were
- 2:20Speaker 1: a lot of people during COVID where you couldn't find
- 2:22Speaker 1: Amo and the price of Ammo went through the roof.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Ammo Squared helps ensure that you have Ammo when you
- 2:28Speaker 1: need it, and it's an automatic approach to purchasing Ammo
- 2:31Speaker 1: on any budget. It's simple. You pick your calibers, you
- 2:34Speaker 1: set your budget, you select a shipping trigger, and that's it.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Your Ammo grows slowly over time. And here's the other
- 2:41Speaker 1: big perk for me. It's stored for free as it
- 2:44Speaker 1: builds up, and then it's shipped with a click of
- 2:46Speaker 1: a button or automatically on your schedule whatever you want
- 2:49Speaker 1: to do. Now, unlike a traditional subscription service, you aren't
- 2:53Speaker 1: forced into a set budget or a monthly shipment. You
- 2:57Speaker 1: decide your budget and chang any time you want to,
- 2:59Speaker 1: and you schedule when you want your AMMO to arrive.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Ammo squared also offers nearly seventy different caliber options. So
- 3:06Speaker 1: maybe you have a hard time finding unique calibers for
- 3:09Speaker 1: your collection. Not anymore with Amo squared, and each shipment
- 3:12Speaker 1: can take a carefully curated mix of factory new ammunition
- 3:15Speaker 1: from brands that you know and love. It's budget friendly, customizable,
- 3:19Speaker 1: buy as little as a few dollars a month, and
- 3:21Speaker 1: use costs dollar averaging to your advantage. Now, if you
- 3:25Speaker 1: ever want to trade out a caliber, maybe you switch firearms,
- 3:28Speaker 1: not a problem. You can trade it back in for
- 3:30Speaker 1: another caliber. And if prices go through the roof and
- 3:32Speaker 1: you ever want to sell your AMMO back, you can
- 3:34Speaker 1: do it for big profits. There's no minimum to buy,
- 3:36Speaker 1: no memberships needed, and no extra fees. Customers can buy
- 3:40Speaker 1: AMMO on a small budget and watch it grow. Sign
- 3:43Speaker 1: up today and I'm gonna give you free AMMO in
- 3:45Speaker 1: your account amosquared dot com slash ben ammosquared dot com
- 3:52Speaker 1: slash bend today and you're gonna get free AMMO in
- 3:54Speaker 1: your account. So center if you go back, and it's
- 3:58Speaker 1: amazing how many of these video start to surface here
- 4:02Speaker 1: and the media clearly isn't doing their job. You've got
- 4:06Speaker 1: this video and it's Kamala Harris. She's straight up out there,
- 4:10Speaker 1: she's very proud of it, shouting she's down, she's not
- 4:15Speaker 1: down with deportations at this rally. And when you see
- 4:19Speaker 1: this resurface video of her protesting against deporting migrants with
- 4:24Speaker 1: a disgraced celebrity, you go, man, I wonder how long
- 4:27Speaker 1: the media had this and they decide to sit on it.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Well clearly that they don't want people to see it,
- 4:32Speaker 2: and and and give a listen. You need to listen
- 4:35Speaker 2: to what Kamala Harris, the sitting vice president and someone
- 4:38Speaker 2: who right who wants to be president of the United States,
- 4:41Speaker 2: what she was happily chanting with the mob on the street.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I mean there it is up up with education, down,
- 5:11Speaker 2: down with deportation, saying we're not deporting anybody.
- 5:14Speaker 1: This is what she believes. Believe her when she says it.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Yeah, and when you watch the video, they're all dancing joyously.
- 5:22Speaker 2: I mean it is. These are a bunch of radicals.
- 5:25Speaker 2: They support open borders. Kamala Harris is a radical. She
- 5:28Speaker 2: supports open borders. She always has. She's always voted for
- 5:32Speaker 2: open borders. She's always advocated for open borders, and right
- 5:36Speaker 2: now her strategy is to try to lie to the
- 5:38Speaker 2: American people. She is literally right now spending millions of
- 5:42Speaker 2: dollars running ads TV ads with video of Trump's border wall,
- 5:48Speaker 2: something she's opposed from day one, But for the next
- 5:51Speaker 2: six weeks on the campaign trail, she is going to
- 5:53Speaker 2: pretend that that she's all for securing the border and
- 5:58Speaker 2: all for deportation, unless God forbid, she wins, and then
- 6:02Speaker 2: you're gonna discover the open borders we've had in the
- 6:04Speaker 2: last four years, they're just getting started, and they're only
- 6:07Speaker 2: getting worse.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Well, and you talk about that just a straight up lying.
- 6:11Speaker 1: You know, her new ad shows Trump's wall, which she
- 6:14Speaker 1: said was inhumane and that she would tear down and
- 6:17Speaker 1: never allow and it should never be allowed to be built.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Now apparently she's in favor of it, but she's obviously not.
- 6:23Speaker 1: She's just trying to buy votes because she understands it's
- 6:26Speaker 1: a liability what's going on at the southern border right now,
- 6:29Speaker 1: and how every city in America has become a border city,
- 6:32Speaker 1: and every liberal city that was a sanctuary city has
- 6:34Speaker 1: now turned into a total disaster. And then you see
- 6:37Speaker 1: this video come back out, or this video come back up.
- 6:40Speaker 1: That they were a guest trying to hide because it's
- 6:42Speaker 1: not popular right now. And you know what she believes center, Like,
- 6:46Speaker 1: it's very clear she wants to flood the border with
- 6:50Speaker 1: illegal immigrants if she is elected president. And this also
- 6:54Speaker 1: comes as a new report has come out talking about
- 6:57Speaker 1: how Mexico has launched a massive operation through which migrants
- 7:03Speaker 1: are intercepted and apprehended in northern States, brought to the
- 7:07Speaker 1: corner of the country furthest from the US border, then
- 7:11Speaker 1: process and released. As the Washington Post summarized it, quote
- 7:15Speaker 1: aided by the military agents, added checkpoints on the highways,
- 7:19Speaker 1: and ramped up searches of trains and buses. In the
- 7:22Speaker 1: first half of twenty twenty four, Mexico log seven hundred
- 7:26Speaker 1: and twelve thousand apprehensions, nearly triple the number in the
- 7:29Speaker 1: same period last year. And what we're being told now
- 7:32Speaker 1: is this all came out of the deal with Biden
- 7:34Speaker 1: Harris when they had that meeting with the leadership in Mexico, Like, hey,
- 7:37Speaker 1: right before election day, we need the number of border
- 7:39Speaker 1: crossings to drop. Can you guys help us out? And
- 7:42Speaker 1: now we know the plan is actually working very well
- 7:46Speaker 1: in Mexico.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Well and listen. There is a reason that the left
- 7:51Speaker 2: is not upset with Kamala because they know this is
- 7:54Speaker 2: who she is. They know this is what she believes.
- 7:58Speaker 2: She's been the borders are for four years. If she's president,
- 8:01Speaker 2: the open borders get worse. The eleven and a half
- 8:04Speaker 2: million illegal aliens becomes twenty million, becomes thirty million. That
- 8:08Speaker 2: is their plan to fundamentally change the American electorate. They
- 8:12Speaker 2: view all of them as future Democrat voters, some voting
- 8:15Speaker 2: illegally immediately and some voting when Democrats seize control and
- 8:20Speaker 2: give them amnesty. That is their plan. And nobody, you know,
- 8:25Speaker 2: the radicals who were dancing in the street with Kamala
- 8:28Speaker 2: chanting down with deportation, they're not upset with Kamala's ads
- 8:33Speaker 2: with the border wall. Why is that because they know
- 8:35Speaker 2: she's lying. They're perfectly happy for her to lie to
- 8:38Speaker 2: the voters. And they think the voters are gullible enough
- 8:41Speaker 2: that they'll be like, oh, oh, she agrees with me
- 8:43Speaker 2: on border security. I gotta say, I don't think the
- 8:46Speaker 2: American people are nearly as gullible as Democrats think they are.
- 8:50Speaker 1: You look at the headline and it says Mexico goes
- 8:53Speaker 1: into overdrive to help Biden Harris administration slow illegal immigration
- 8:58Speaker 1: before a day. So it's all a POI. This is
- 9:03Speaker 1: all being done clearly on purpose. They're saying today the
- 9:06Speaker 1: illegal border crossings are now over thirty five one hundred
- 9:09Speaker 1: for the day that's down, and then they're going to
- 9:13Speaker 1: campaign on this. Do you really believe that this is
- 9:15Speaker 1: going to work with the American people?
- 9:18Speaker 2: I don't, But I got to say, the President of
- 9:21Speaker 2: Mexico is not the only foreign leader who is trying
- 9:24Speaker 2: to influence this election and wants Kamala Harris elected president.
- 9:29Speaker 2: President Zelenski is in the United States and he's effectively
- 9:33Speaker 2: campaigning for Kamala That this is a story, as I
- 9:38Speaker 2: said at the outset, that just shocks me. I've never
- 9:41Speaker 2: seen this happen where a foreign leader comes. He went
- 9:45Speaker 2: to Pennsylvania, the biggest swing state in the country, He
- 9:48Speaker 2: went to an ammunition factory. He arrived on an Air
- 9:53Speaker 2: Force jet, presumably paid for by the taxpayers. And he
- 9:57Speaker 2: does this whole interview in The New Yorker where he
- 10:01Speaker 2: slams Donald Trump, and he slams jd. Vance. Zelenski says
- 10:06Speaker 2: in the interview that Trump quote doesn't really know how
- 10:09Speaker 2: to stop the war, even if he might think he
- 10:12Speaker 2: knows how. And then on Vance, he attacks Vance directly
- 10:18Speaker 2: and says Vance's quote too radical. Now, I got to say,
- 10:25Speaker 2: who the hell is Zelensky to be trying to interfere
- 10:29Speaker 2: in our election? The arrogance of this guy, And you
- 10:32Speaker 2: know what, in the Congress, this guy has gotten Republican
- 10:36Speaker 2: support for military aid. You want to find a way
- 10:40Speaker 2: for that to disappear, This is an awfully good way
- 10:43Speaker 2: to do it. And the guy, I've got to say,
- 10:46Speaker 2: is an absolute moron for coming to the US six
- 10:51Speaker 2: weeks before the election and attacking Trump and Vance. I
- 10:54Speaker 2: don't care if Selensky likes or dislikes what they have
- 10:59Speaker 2: to say. He is if he had the sense God
- 11:08Speaker 2: gave a cricket, he would have said on that question,
- 11:12Speaker 2: you know what, I'm not gonna comment about US elections.
- 11:15Speaker 2: That's for the people of America to decide. That would
- 11:18Speaker 2: have been smart. But you know what, Kamala Harris is
- 11:21Speaker 2: perfectly happy to use this guy as essentially a campaign prop.
- 11:26Speaker 2: And as I said, it is absolutely infuriating.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Yeah, you look at what he was here for, and
- 11:32Speaker 1: it was to get a check and that's the part
- 11:34Speaker 1: I think people need to understand. And it wasn't just
- 11:37Speaker 1: to get a check. It was also to They described
- 11:41Speaker 1: it as a victory plan quote unquote that he was
- 11:45Speaker 1: going to lay out the President, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
- 11:48Speaker 1: They also said he was going to show it to Trump,
- 11:50Speaker 1: which made me laugh. This is a two and a
- 11:53Speaker 1: half years of war with Russia and now they've come
- 11:55Speaker 1: up with a victory plan. It look he knows if
- 11:58Speaker 1: he wants unlimited cash, then then Biden and Harris are
- 12:02Speaker 1: the team. And that means Harris now is a team
- 12:05Speaker 1: because they will write him a check whenever he needs it,
- 12:08Speaker 1: and they will continue this for apparently another two and
- 12:11Speaker 1: a half years or another five years, whatever it is.
- 12:14Speaker 1: But when he comes here on our dollar, how is
- 12:17Speaker 1: this not an enkind donation? I mean it used to
- 12:20Speaker 1: be that when I was on campaigns, they would spend
- 12:24Speaker 1: hours with us senator going over campaign finance rules and
- 12:27Speaker 1: laws so that none of us ever made a mistake.
- 12:30Speaker 1: And it was not a joke, like they took real
- 12:33Speaker 1: time of like the dues and don'ts and and certain
- 12:35Speaker 1: things that you can and cannot do. This dude's flying
- 12:38Speaker 1: over here. Taxpayers are paying for it. He's on a
- 12:41Speaker 1: big I mean a big jet. He lands in a
- 12:45Speaker 1: swing state, he gets off the plane, he does the interview.
- 12:48Speaker 1: This is this is obviously a campaign contribution to the
- 12:54Speaker 1: Harris campaign, and no one bats and I that the
- 12:56Speaker 1: taxpayers are paying for this propaganda.
- 12:59Speaker 2: So Ben, you're saying they didn't pick Pennsylvania at random.
- 13:02Speaker 2: It wasn't just oh, let's throw a dart at the
- 13:06Speaker 2: map and see where it hits. That the fact that
- 13:08Speaker 2: it's the most critical swing state in the entire country
- 13:11Speaker 2: was was was a factor in why why Kamala Harris
- 13:14Speaker 2: wanted him in Pennsylvania.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, I mean pretty obvious.
- 13:21Speaker 2: And listen to combine that ostensibly what he said he
- 13:26Speaker 2: was there as he was thanking the ammunition plant because
- 13:29Speaker 2: they were making the ammunition that's being sent to Ukraine.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Doing that I think is unacceptable, but combining it with
- 13:40Speaker 2: explicitly attacking both Donald Trump and JD. Vance is incredibly foolish.
- 13:46Speaker 2: And let's be clear. Look, look, if you look at
- 13:50Speaker 2: the polling, I don't know what the odds are that
- 13:53Speaker 2: that that that Trump wins. I certainly hope and pray
- 13:55Speaker 2: he wins, but the odds are significant, whatever they are,
- 13:59Speaker 2: not of us know what the odds are. Sitting here today,
- 14:03Speaker 2: Zelensky that this is just dumb on his part, because
- 14:08Speaker 2: if Trump wins, he's got a huge problem that just
- 14:13Speaker 2: got bigger. And if Trump loses, you know, good luck
- 14:18Speaker 2: trying to get Republicans to listen to what he has
- 14:21Speaker 2: to say, if he just behaves like a Democrat campaign activist.
- 14:27Speaker 1: I want to tell you real quick about our friends
- 14:29Speaker 1: over at IFCJ, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
- 14:32Speaker 1: With the rise in anti Semitism and continue attacks on Israel,
- 14:36Speaker 1: it is more important than ever to stand with Israel
- 14:39Speaker 1: and the Jewish people. And as we approach the one
- 14:42Speaker 1: year anniversary, the one year mark of October seventh, the
- 14:45Speaker 1: International Fellowship of Christians and Jews is partnering with over
- 14:49Speaker 1: two hundred and thirty churches and other organizations across America
- 14:54Speaker 1: in Flags of Fellowship by planting Israeli flags to remember
- 14:58Speaker 1: the over one thousand, two hundred victims. Now you can
- 15:02Speaker 1: be a part of Flags of Fellowship as well. There
- 15:04Speaker 1: is tremendous need for food and basic supplies for evacuated
- 15:08Speaker 1: families trying to survive in communities that are impacted by
- 15:12Speaker 1: the ongoing war. And that's why I'm asking twelve hundred
- 15:16Speaker 1: of you today to make a gift of one hundred
- 15:19Speaker 1: dollars to help provide emergency food boxes for displaced families
- 15:24Speaker 1: in Israel. Israel needs are support now more than ever,
- 15:29Speaker 1: So join me and let the world know that you
- 15:32Speaker 1: stand with Israel. You can make your gift right now
- 15:35Speaker 1: by calling eight eight eight for eight eight IFCJ. That's
- 15:41Speaker 1: eight eight eight four eight eight four three two five,
- 15:47Speaker 1: Or you can go online and securely give there at
- 15:49Speaker 1: support IFCJ dot org. That's one word support if CJ
- 15:57Speaker 1: dot org or eight eight eight for eight IFCJ. One
- 16:02Speaker 1: other question I want to ask you is about Zelensky.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Real quick was going to this you know Ammo plant
- 16:11Speaker 1: that they went to. It made me laugh that he's
- 16:14Speaker 1: like acting like, you know, there's some do gooders that
- 16:17Speaker 1: are giving him this amo. To be clear, the American
- 16:21Speaker 1: tax dollars are paying for them. He would never need
- 16:23Speaker 1: to go there if this wasn't for a political stunt,
- 16:26Speaker 1: because they're going to cast a check and that's how
- 16:28Speaker 1: they've set this up where hey, they make them America
- 16:31Speaker 1: get pays for that AMO. The AMO then goes to Ukraine,
- 16:35Speaker 1: and it just was such a made for TV propaganda moment.
- 16:40Speaker 1: And I want people to understand that that's what this was,
- 16:42Speaker 1: to support and advocate for the campaign.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that's exactly right. And I'll tell you an
- 16:48Speaker 2: additional point that was made by Donald Trump Junior on
- 16:52Speaker 2: Twitter I think is really quite significant. So Trump Junior tweeted, So,
- 16:56Speaker 2: a foreign leader who has received billions of dollars in
- 16:59Speaker 2: fun from American taxpayers comes to our country and has
- 17:04Speaker 2: the nerve to attack the GOP ticket for president. And
- 17:07Speaker 2: he does this right after a pro Ukraine Zelot tried
- 17:13Speaker 2: to assassinate my father. Disgraceful and and and and that's
- 17:18Speaker 2: a point. Look, this this this lunatic who camped out
- 17:22Speaker 2: on the golf course and was there to assassinate President Trump.
- 17:26Speaker 2: The facts that have come out on him as he
- 17:28Speaker 2: was truly a pro Ukraine Zelot, so much so that
- 17:31Speaker 2: he flew over there and was trying to enlist to
- 17:34Speaker 2: fight with the Ukrainians. And he was such a kook.
- 17:37Speaker 2: The Ukrainians said, we don't want you. But but that
- 17:40Speaker 2: that really does add insult to injury.
- 17:45Speaker 1: It does, and also, I think tells you just how
- 17:47Speaker 1: tone death they are, or maybe they just don't care
- 17:50Speaker 1: at all. I'm not sure that they care at all.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Look, I think I don't know, but I think it
- 17:57Speaker 2: was remarkably foolish. And and and you know, look, I
- 18:01Speaker 2: normally try to give some grace and leniency to a
- 18:06Speaker 2: leader in wartime. I mean, he's fighting for his country.
- 18:08Speaker 2: I understand what he's doing. This was foolish. I still
- 18:12Speaker 2: want Russia to lose, but I think what Zelensky did
- 18:16Speaker 2: today was one of the greatest unforced errors I've seen
- 18:22Speaker 2: a foreign leader do. I've never seen this happen in
- 18:26Speaker 2: my entire life, and I think it really was a bad,
- 18:30Speaker 2: bad mistake by Zelensky.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree, and it could. And again, if you're
- 18:35Speaker 1: going all in, because you know, you get unlimited funds,
- 18:38Speaker 1: and you came over here for a check, and every
- 18:40Speaker 1: time you show up, America writes you that check. He's
- 18:42Speaker 1: probably just looking at the politics, going, hey, this is
- 18:45Speaker 1: my meal ticket, Harris is the meal ticket. Let's go
- 18:48Speaker 1: help her win reelection or get elected, I should say.
- 18:51Speaker 1: And then I get the funds flowing for another four years.
- 18:55Speaker 1: And they obviously made that calculated decision. I agree with you.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I think it was really really foolish. I want to
- 19:01Speaker 1: move on. Also something else that you mentioned earlier, and
- 19:04Speaker 1: it's happened today. UH set the stage for everybody in Congress, UH,
- 19:10Speaker 1: and and explain exactly what was going on, and it
- 19:13Speaker 1: dealt with presidential immunity.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Well, Senate Democrats for two years have been engaged in
- 19:20Speaker 2: a relentless assault on the Supreme Court and trying to
- 19:23Speaker 2: undermine the Supreme Court. And so today the Senate Judiciary
- 19:26Speaker 2: Committee held a hearing on the Supreme Court's decision on
- 19:30Speaker 2: presidential immunity, and the whole purpose of the hearing was
- 19:33Speaker 2: to say that the Supreme Court decision is ridiculous, that
- 19:36Speaker 2: it's out of bounds, that it basically said Trump is
- 19:39Speaker 2: a king, that he's unaccountable, that it that it's some
- 19:42Speaker 2: you know, bizarre decision, and they're trying both to attack
- 19:46Speaker 2: Trump UH and to delegitimize the Supreme Court.
- 19:51Speaker 3: And and and so.
- 19:52Speaker 2: Among the witnesses testifying was was Michael Mukasey, who was
- 19:56Speaker 2: the former Attorney General of the United States under George W. Bush,
- 20:00Speaker 2: and he was a federal judge for nearly twenty years
- 20:03Speaker 2: before that. And he was one of the witnesses, and
- 20:06Speaker 2: so I took the opportunity to actually question the former
- 20:09Speaker 2: Attorney general and to lay out the utterly false narrative
- 20:14Speaker 2: the Democrats were putting forward. Give a listen to my
- 20:18Speaker 2: questioning of Attorney General mucasey. Thank you, mister chairman. The
- 20:22Speaker 2: nub of the Democrats argument today is that the concept
- 20:26Speaker 2: of presidential immunity is somehow unprecedented, is somehow remarkable. That
- 20:33Speaker 2: claim is utterly a historical and disconnected from the entire
- 20:37Speaker 2: constitutional history of the Republic. General MW. Casey before twenty
- 20:41Speaker 2: twenty three, how many times has the President of the
- 20:44Speaker 2: United States been indicted? John before twenty twenty three? How
- 20:48Speaker 2: many times has the former president of the United States
- 20:50Speaker 2: been indicted?
- 20:51Speaker 3: Done?
- 20:52Speaker 2: In the last two years? How many times has President
- 20:55Speaker 2: Donald J. Trump been indicted?
- 20:57Speaker 3: Four times? I believe.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Many presidents of both parties have engaged in controversial actions,
- 21:06Speaker 2: and yet none of them have been indicted. Let me
- 21:08Speaker 2: ask you, General mc caasey, if a private citizen were
- 21:13Speaker 2: to erect an internment camp and to forcibly kidnap American citizens,
- 21:19Speaker 2: to single them out because of race, and to imprison
- 21:22Speaker 2: them based on their race. Would that private citizen be
- 21:25Speaker 2: subject to criminal prosecution? Would When President Franklin delan Or
- 21:29Speaker 2: Roosevelt did the exact same thing and erected Japanese internment camps,
- 21:34Speaker 2: was FDR prosecuted?
- 21:36Speaker 3: He was not?
- 21:37Speaker 1: Let me ask you.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Similarly, if a private citizen were, say to detonate a
- 21:43Speaker 2: nuclear weapon over a city and kill over one hundred
- 21:46Speaker 2: and forty thousand people, and then if that private citizen
- 21:49Speaker 2: a few days later detonated another nuclear bomb over another
- 21:53Speaker 2: city and killed seventy five thousand people, could that private
- 21:57Speaker 2: citizen be criminally prosecuted?
- 22:00Speaker 3: Would?
- 22:01Speaker 2: Was President Harry Truman prosecuted for detonating nuclear weapons over
- 22:06Speaker 2: Hiroshima and Nagasaki?
- 22:08Speaker 3: He was not?
- 22:09Speaker 1: All right?
- 22:09Speaker 2: How about this, If a private citizen launched a weaponized
- 22:12Speaker 2: drove and killed a United States citizen, could that private
- 22:18Speaker 2: citizen be criminally prosecuted?
- 22:21Speaker 3: He would?
- 22:22Speaker 2: Was President Barack Obama criminally prosecuted when he killed United
- 22:28Speaker 2: States citizens using drones without notice and without due process?
- 22:32Speaker 3: He was not? Although as far as due process is concerned,
- 22:35Speaker 3: I believe the comment of my successor to that question
- 22:39Speaker 3: was that anmaala'laki got quote all the process that was necessary.
- 22:45Speaker 2: Well, although I suspect he might disagree with that assessment
- 22:48Speaker 2: were he able to present his case. Right, all right,
- 22:54Speaker 2: let's contrast that with the rules that govern other federal officials.
- 23:01Speaker 2: You were a judge for nineteen years as a federal judge.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Did you have immunity from your.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Official acts from my official act? Yes?
- 23:11Speaker 2: Do federal prosecutors have an immunity from their official acts?
- 23:15Speaker 2: They do? Now, the distinction between official acts and personal
- 23:19Speaker 2: acts is not a terribly shocking distinction. Under the decision
- 23:24Speaker 2: of Trump versus United States, if any president walks the
- 23:28Speaker 2: walks onto the sidewalk and just shoots a citizen, is
- 23:31Speaker 2: that president libel to be prosecuted?
- 23:34Speaker 3: He is?
- 23:36Speaker 2: How about this? If a president steals funds from his campaign,
- 23:41Speaker 2: does that president face criminal liability?
- 23:43Speaker 3: He does?
- 23:45Speaker 1: How about this?
- 23:46Speaker 2: If a president sexually assaults let's say, an intern in
- 23:51Speaker 2: the oval office, is the president subject criminal prosecution for that?
- 23:56Speaker 3: He could be?
- 23:58Speaker 2: So that distinction, again, is not a shocking distinction. The
- 24:04Speaker 2: founding fathers vested the executive power in a single president
- 24:10Speaker 2: of the United States. What we have seen in the
- 24:14Speaker 2: last two years is we have seen Democrats deliberately weaponizing
- 24:20Speaker 2: the Department of Justice and our legal system to target
- 24:24Speaker 2: their political opposition. It is not an accident that every
- 24:29Speaker 2: indictment against President Trump was brought by a Democrat and
- 24:35Speaker 2: was brought after he announced his campaign for president of
- 24:38Speaker 2: the United States. Understand, the target of those indictments was
- 24:42Speaker 2: not ultimately President Trump. It was the voters. It was
- 24:46Speaker 2: prosecutors who were terrified that the voters would choose to
- 24:49Speaker 2: re elect President Trump. One of the great things about
- 24:52Speaker 2: the United States is we're not a bin out of republic.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Since two thousand, the nation of Pakistan has had six
- 24:59Speaker 2: former prime ministters prosecuted and convicted. Brazil has had three
- 25:04Speaker 2: former presidents arrested and imprisoned. Last year, Nicaragua and President
- 25:08Speaker 2: Daniel or Tega arrested, charged, and imprisoned forty political opponents.
- 25:13Speaker 2: General Man Casey, you are Attorney General of the United States,
- 25:16Speaker 2: it is Is it the proper role of the Department
- 25:18Speaker 2: of Justice to prosecute and target the political opponents of
- 25:23Speaker 2: whoever happens to be President of the United States.
- 25:25Speaker 3: It is, most assuredly not, thank you.
- 25:28Speaker 1: He says. It most certainly is not. But the reality
- 25:33Speaker 1: is Donald Trump keeps getting attacked by the left and
- 25:36Speaker 1: they keep trying to lock up their political opponent.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Yeah, no, that's exactly what they're doing. And their claim
- 25:42Speaker 2: that the ruling that a president can't be criminally prosecuted
- 25:46Speaker 2: for his official acts is contrary to the law. It's
- 25:50Speaker 2: what's why I use the examples I used. It's why
- 25:53Speaker 2: I use Look, the Japanese and Tournament camp. Presidents can
- 25:56Speaker 2: do a lot of things in exercising their official power
- 26:00Speaker 2: that ordinary citizens cannot, and we would want our commander
- 26:04Speaker 2: in chief. Our commander in chief can send our troops
- 26:07Speaker 2: into combat, can use lethal force, and they do regularly.
- 26:12Speaker 2: And so the Supreme Court naturally said, well, we don't
- 26:15Speaker 2: want a situation where each new president who comes in
- 26:19Speaker 2: the first order of business is let's criminally prosecute the
- 26:22Speaker 2: last guy for the things he did as president that
- 26:25Speaker 2: I disagreed with.
- 26:26Speaker 3: And so.
- 26:29Speaker 2: You know, the hearing was really a dog and pony
- 26:33Speaker 2: show by the Democrats to mischaracterize the Supreme Court decision.
- 26:36Speaker 2: So I thought it was important to explain the actual
- 26:40Speaker 2: law in the real context.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Let me ask you another question about this. Will there
- 26:46Speaker 1: be a correction? I mean, if Donald Trump is the
- 26:50Speaker 1: president next time, will there be a correction? Or once
- 26:54Speaker 1: the cats out of the bag, is there any way
- 26:56Speaker 1: of getting it back to where we were before as
- 26:58Speaker 1: you described it twenty twenty three.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I don't know. I certainly hope we are not in
- 27:04Speaker 2: a world where we are a banana republic where it
- 27:07Speaker 2: is routine to prosecute your predecessors. I don't know, but
- 27:12Speaker 2: I do think the Democrats have gone down a road
- 27:16Speaker 2: that it's very hard to turn around and.
- 27:17Speaker 1: Come back from. Yeah, it is going to be very
- 27:21Speaker 1: very tough, to put it mildly, to turn this thing around.
- 27:24Speaker 1: And I think once they realize they can do this,
- 27:27Speaker 1: I don't see Democrats being responsible moving forward with it.
- 27:30Speaker 1: That's my biggest concern. So is there anything we can
- 27:33Speaker 1: do to protect former presidents? Or it is something need
- 27:36Speaker 1: to change with the law.
- 27:38Speaker 2: And Look, the biggest thing we can and should do
- 27:41Speaker 2: is reelect Donald Trump as president. Elections have consequences. We're
- 27:45Speaker 2: six weeks away from election day. The outcome of this
- 27:48Speaker 2: election matters immensely.
- 27:51Speaker 1: I want to tell you about Patriot Mobile. If you
- 27:53Speaker 1: have a cell phone and your cell phone is with
- 27:56Speaker 1: Big Mobile, you may not realize that you've been supporting

- 28:04Speaker 1: for abortions. That is exactly why I switch to Patriot Mobile,
- 28:08Speaker 1: and I have amazing nationwide coverage. In twenty twenty four,

- 28:22Speaker 1: are ready to take a stand as a conservative, well

- 28:27Speaker 1: Because with Patriot Mobile, every month when I pay my bill,
- 28:31Speaker 1: I know that about five percent of my bill, no
- 28:34Speaker 1: extra cost to me, is actually going back to support

- 28:41Speaker 1: and my Second Amendment rights, and that are fighting for
