- 1:12Speaker 1: Dr Mark D. Baxter. I thank you, thank you. It's
- 1:17Speaker 1: truly a pleasure in the honor to be here. I
- 1:19Speaker 1: appreciate you. Mr Rashawn, It's always a pleasure. Well, also,
- 1:23Speaker 1: my friend, you know, I'm a member of the Lincoln
- 1:25Speaker 1: LinkedIn Social Media Society. So I get a chance to
- 1:28Speaker 1: watch your videos, I'm motivated. Uh. I find them entertaining.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I find them. Uh, I could never do them because
- 1:35Speaker 1: you you know, you're very active. You're very active in
- 1:38Speaker 1: your in your in your video video. Explain that technique
- 1:41Speaker 1: that you developed in your videos. Well, I first of all,
- 1:46Speaker 1: thank you. And when it comes to the videos, it's
- 1:48Speaker 1: all passion. It's all purfect to me. I gotta drop
- 1:51Speaker 1: a name for you. Paul Brunsman, if he recently moved
- 1:54Speaker 1: to the UK, has the Relationship show was picked up
- 1:57Speaker 1: my own years ago and they put them on a
- 2:00Speaker 1: great path. I was in the Mastermind group with Paul
- 2:02Speaker 1: and he said, Mark, your power, your energy is amazing,
- 2:05Speaker 1: but you got to get it out to the world.
- 2:07Speaker 1: So he said, in today's era of social media, you
- 2:10Speaker 1: just gotta let it all out and that led me
- 2:13Speaker 1: to start doing videos. And I was standing still. He said, Mark,
- 2:16Speaker 1: that's not enough. You too posserble start walking around. And
- 2:20Speaker 1: then when I was in Atlanta, I was at John
- 2:21Speaker 1: Hope Bryant's Hope Global for him and that was the
- 2:24Speaker 1: first one I did walking around and he said, that's good, Mark,
- 2:27Speaker 1: I feel it. But it's another level. And and and listen,
- 2:30Speaker 1: Mr Rishan, when I started putting that video camera down
- 2:34Speaker 1: and just started letting guy use me naturally, that's what
- 2:37Speaker 1: you see today, and that's what's bringing everyone in the
- 2:39Speaker 1: world is taking notice. When I take notice. I showed
- 2:42Speaker 1: it to my staff. I told him, I said this,
- 2:45Speaker 1: I helped up. I said, this the guy one of
- 2:47Speaker 1: my show. Right here, Mark, look at it. Let's get
- 2:49Speaker 1: right here. Look like he moves back, he runs to
- 2:52Speaker 1: the camera, goes back, he makes that statement and the
- 2:54Speaker 1: steps back. I said, he does it everywhere he could be.
- 2:56Speaker 1: He could be on the street, he could be in
- 2:58Speaker 1: the parking lot, he could be in the building. I
- 3:01Speaker 1: just love the fact that you're saying you're willing to
- 3:03Speaker 1: take your your message wherever it needs to be heard.
- 3:06Speaker 1: That's basically what you're saying in your videos. Correct, I
- 3:09Speaker 1: am definitely saying that. And here's the thing. See, I
- 3:11Speaker 1: get motivated when I can motivate others. God set me up,
- 3:15Speaker 1: and see what happens is that this is the only
- 3:18Speaker 1: thing that's this liberating for me. It's liberating. I've been
- 3:22Speaker 1: holding that power in for so long and now you know,
- 3:25Speaker 1: we're getting the other questions later. But I made millions
- 3:29Speaker 1: and lost it all. But now I'm in alignment with
- 3:31Speaker 1: my purpose. So now I'm able to do things like
- 3:34Speaker 1: this video and just let all the power out because
- 3:36Speaker 1: my job is to take the power that's in me
- 3:39Speaker 1: and transferred to the people of the world. Well what
- 3:42Speaker 1: you do? You caught my eye and I find it
- 3:45Speaker 1: because I feel you know when you when you're in
- 3:46Speaker 1: this business is a competitive business, Okay, motivation and information
- 3:50Speaker 1: and you know what separates you what catches a person
- 3:53Speaker 1: I and and allows them to share your views? And
- 3:57Speaker 1: that's the whole thing. In social media. You know, you're
- 3:59Speaker 1: marketing and brandy machine, and so what's your hook, what's
- 4:02Speaker 1: your take on it and how you can grow your
- 4:04Speaker 1: brand and basically what you're doing and in developing this technique,
- 4:09Speaker 1: I find it. Uh, can I congratulate you on that.
- 4:12Speaker 1: And one of the reason I'm a fan is because
- 4:14Speaker 1: I know that's tied to a plan, a plan of action. Correct, Yes, absolutely, absolutely, yes,
- 4:20Speaker 1: it's definitely tied to a plane of action. And again
- 4:23Speaker 1: you know, um, and that's how ironic. We're in Black
- 4:26Speaker 1: History month and um, what happened is that you know
- 4:29Speaker 1: Martin had a dream. We all know that. But I
- 4:31Speaker 1: also had a dream at the age of fifteen. In fact,
- 4:34Speaker 1: I had the same dream each and every night for
- 4:36Speaker 1: an entire year. And this is what it looked like.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I'm talking about. When I wake up and fall back
- 4:40Speaker 1: to sleep, the dream continue. When I go to sleep
- 4:42Speaker 1: the next night, the dream continues for an entire year.
- 4:46Speaker 1: So so Mr Rashawn Is, I stand on your show
- 4:48Speaker 1: and I sit and I spill my heart out to
- 4:50Speaker 1: you into the audience. I'm here to tell you that
- 4:52Speaker 1: that dream is coming true right here, right now. So
- 4:56Speaker 1: I'm a testament that life is real. You can create
- 4:59Speaker 1: your own life. We're on a delayed gratification scale. That's why.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Your life is created by how you think, how you feel,
- 5:08Speaker 1: and how you respond to situations. I'll say it again,
- 5:10Speaker 1: your life is created by how you think how you
- 5:14Speaker 1: feel and how you respond to situation. Well, Mr back,
- 5:18Speaker 1: you have not failed me so far in this interview.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Now your book here how to be one with your greatness?
- 5:24Speaker 1: Before we get into the book, I had one question,
- 5:27Speaker 1: what is your greatness? My greatness and I and this
- 5:32Speaker 1: is a great question. In fact, I was talking to
- 5:33Speaker 1: a couple of friends the other day, and my view
- 5:36Speaker 1: of greatness is that greatness is in the eye of
- 5:38Speaker 1: the beholder, meaning that everyone's greatness may look and feel different.
- 5:43Speaker 1: That's why we're all made distinctively different. And here's how
- 5:47Speaker 1: you know. Because that fingerprint that you walk around with
- 5:50Speaker 1: that DNA is unmatchable. You can search the whole world,
- 5:54Speaker 1: but there's no one that can specifically match your fingerprints.
- 5:58Speaker 1: So that's basically what my greatness is is to come
- 6:01Speaker 1: and total alignment with that fingerprint, with that uniqueness that
- 6:05Speaker 1: I was created to be. So in doing that, and
- 6:08Speaker 1: I'm trying to get into the book a little bit,
- 6:10Speaker 1: But you gotta come in alignment with your truth and
- 6:14Speaker 1: so so therefore you gotta first learn what your truth is.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Because what life does. It forces things on you. So
- 6:20Speaker 1: it forces education, all these other things on you. But
- 6:23Speaker 1: the true true definition of education is not systematic knowledge
- 6:27Speaker 1: to go out and make other people wealthy. True definition
- 6:30Speaker 1: of education is not is development from within. So we're
- 6:33Speaker 1: already wired for greatness. But when we come into this world,
- 6:37Speaker 1: they've bombarred you with other aspects of what you have
- 6:39Speaker 1: to do. And often times we we put up these
- 6:42Speaker 1: artificial layers to try to suffice all of these things
- 6:46Speaker 1: that are coming at us in life. When the truth
- 6:48Speaker 1: of the matter is that you're already wired for greatness.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You just gotta resist the external and believe and what's inside.
- 6:58Speaker 1: My man, we're talking to you. Markdi baxter Uh, author
- 7:02Speaker 1: of How to Be One with Greatness. You were born
- 7:05Speaker 1: to be great this book I read it always what
- 7:08Speaker 1: I when I do when I bring authors on the show.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I always read the book to day out, you know,
- 7:12Speaker 1: like I get up earlier, read this so everything stays
- 7:14Speaker 1: real fresh. And that was some really key moments in
- 7:17Speaker 1: your growth, you know, five, six, nine, early years you
- 7:22Speaker 1: know that were defining. And the reason I bringing that
- 7:24Speaker 1: up because it's important to understand that you can be
- 7:27Speaker 1: shaped so clean in those early years and a lot
- 7:31Speaker 1: of people understand how important it is to start really
- 7:34Speaker 1: you know, putting a proper imprint on the kid, because
- 7:37Speaker 1: those memories can carry you to adulthood as it has
- 7:41Speaker 1: you because it's it's written in your book when you
- 7:43Speaker 1: were five years old, when your brother Tony walked you
- 7:46Speaker 1: down to your school for the first time, he was
- 7:48Speaker 1: excited and then he just let you go. Yeah, it
- 7:54Speaker 1: was a traumatic It was a traumatic experience. And what
- 7:57Speaker 1: you you said that, Mr Rashawn, you that it We
- 8:00Speaker 1: are all a product of our home, our environment, and
- 8:04Speaker 1: our experiences. We are all products of our home, our environment,
- 8:08Speaker 1: and our experiences. And whatever you choose to do back
- 8:12Speaker 1: in the day, n w A say mix it in
- 8:13Speaker 1: a pot like gumbo. So however you mix it in
- 8:16Speaker 1: your pots, and whatever recipe you come out with is
- 8:19Speaker 1: what you have to deal with. See, I was challenged
- 8:22Speaker 1: with a lot of adversity early on in my life
- 8:24Speaker 1: and throughout my life because I understand for who much
- 8:27Speaker 1: has given, much is required. And see, you gotta change
- 8:30Speaker 1: your perception of adversity. Adversity is not bad. Adversity is
- 8:35Speaker 1: nothing more than growth opportunities because the only way you
- 8:39Speaker 1: can grow is by being challenged. So you gotta change
- 8:42Speaker 1: the way you look at adversity and that's what my
- 8:45Speaker 1: life has toward me early on in my life. I'm
- 8:47Speaker 1: from I'm from a very dysfunctional household. I have a
- 8:51Speaker 1: mom that didn't finish high school. She's from South Carolina,
- 8:54Speaker 1: has to grow up really, really hard. And I have
- 8:56Speaker 1: a dad that only went to the sixth grade from Savannah, Georgia.
- 8:59Speaker 1: And they both my great here to Philadelphia and and
- 9:01Speaker 1: and created a relationship. And don't get me wrong, God
- 9:05Speaker 1: rest my dad and my mom. I lost my dad
- 9:07Speaker 1: on June eight to, two thousand and eighteen. I lost
- 9:09Speaker 1: my mom on June twenty last year, two thousand nineteen.
- 9:13Speaker 1: God rest their soul. But the truth of the matter
- 9:15Speaker 1: is that, you know, I'm a realist. They should have
- 9:18Speaker 1: never been married. You know, they created, and I love
- 9:20Speaker 1: my siblings and I'm thankful for being created. But you know,
- 9:23Speaker 1: you gotta call us fade of spade. And growing up
- 9:26Speaker 1: in the household, it was very traumatic. I mean, they
- 9:29Speaker 1: slept in separate rooms, stretching to kill each other every day.
- 9:32Speaker 1: And then we were in the hood, we were from poverty,
- 9:35Speaker 1: and then on top of that, then so so so
- 9:38Speaker 1: everything is just reinforcing the negativity. And then on top
- 9:41Speaker 1: of that, I was the youngest, and all of this
- 9:45Speaker 1: drives and all of this insight inside of me, and
- 9:48Speaker 1: I had no outlet to let it out, created no mentors.
- 9:54Speaker 1: You know. That came later on and I found refuge
- 9:57Speaker 1: to football and in church. That's say my life, and
- 10:00Speaker 1: I poured all of my pain into it, and henceforth
- 10:03Speaker 1: it got me a scholars at the college in football,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and I got a tremendous relationship with God because I
- 10:07Speaker 1: didn't settle. You know, you got a choice. I mean, listen,
- 10:12Speaker 1: adversity comes free, but you gotta fight to secure the blessing.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Every adversity comes with an equal with not greater blessing.
- 10:19Speaker 1: The adversity will find you free, but you gotta fight
- 10:22Speaker 1: to secure the blessing. And the difference is that us,
- 10:26Speaker 1: especially as a people, we've become comfortable with simply surviving
- 10:30Speaker 1: as this. You get a reward for surviving. You know,
- 10:32Speaker 1: it's admirable to survive. But it's time that we start
- 10:36Speaker 1: to thrive. So you gotta push the issue to thrive
- 10:39Speaker 1: to get to those blessings. And that's what I just
- 10:41Speaker 1: learned how to do, and that's what I'm showing the
- 10:43Speaker 1: world how to do it. He's doing. First of all,
- 10:46Speaker 1: you're successful and you caught my attention. That's why you're
- 10:49Speaker 1: on Money Making Conversation. I'm talking to markty Baxter, the
- 10:52Speaker 1: author of the book How to Be One with Greatness.
- 10:55Speaker 1: You were born to be great, motivational. He's honest. Uh, Mark,
- 10:58Speaker 1: do you have a YouTube channel? Absolutely? Absolutely, if it's
- 11:02Speaker 1: in my name, Mark Baxter, Mark Baxter, and so to
- 11:06Speaker 1: all the videos that I see on LinkedIn stored on
- 11:10Speaker 1: your your YouTube channel. YouTube? Absolutely, I have over to
- 11:15Speaker 1: I have hundreds of videos on YouTube. I haven't counted
- 11:17Speaker 1: a year, but I'm I'm very, very active on YouTube.
- 11:20Speaker 1: My daily videos on YouTube. In fact, I've been doing
- 11:22Speaker 1: videos on YouTube for years. It's just that I picked
- 11:26Speaker 1: it up. I've had great people around me, you know,
- 11:28Speaker 1: Paul runs them to give me a you know, I'm
- 11:30Speaker 1: on you know, the Rash Donald's show. So it's amazing.
- 11:34Speaker 1: I'm getting people around me. Listen, success is closing in
- 11:37Speaker 1: on me. I can't lose. You can't can't lose because
- 11:41Speaker 1: of the fact that, first of all, I've changed them. Man,
- 11:44Speaker 1: I appreciate you. That's what money Made Conversation is all about.
- 11:47Speaker 1: First of all, individuals who willing are willing to share
- 11:50Speaker 1: their stories so everybody can find that the past can't
- 11:53Speaker 1: be relatable, okay, because you know, you can see that journey.
- 11:56Speaker 1: You can see superstars, you can see millionaires, you see
- 11:59Speaker 1: big cars, you see Lane Basically was always played out
- 12:02Speaker 1: music videos. Now it's being played out in social media
- 12:05Speaker 1: because people post their best Nobody pay post their tragic
- 12:08Speaker 1: Everybody wants post their best clothes, the best play, the food,
- 12:11Speaker 1: you know, the best vacation experience. You know, they're sitting
- 12:14Speaker 1: from they're standing from the car. They might not even
- 12:16Speaker 1: own that car, but they're standing in front, you know,
- 12:18Speaker 1: so they're presenting that image to you. And so so
- 12:22Speaker 1: you are. You are a guy who's sitting in the
- 12:24Speaker 1: middle of all that, you know, like like peeping through
- 12:28Speaker 1: the curtains and guess who's on the other side. Mark,
- 12:31Speaker 1: we know that said come on over here, don't be afraid,
- 12:34Speaker 1: don't be afraid, don't be afraid. And that's why I
- 12:36Speaker 1: started money making conversation. We're gonna come back in our
- 12:38Speaker 1: next break and getting more detail on this book. I
- 12:40Speaker 1: hope you enjoying the interview here, Mark, because I'm so
- 12:43Speaker 1: happy you came on my show. Up. I follow him
- 12:45Speaker 1: on LinkedIn. Uh and uh he's spectacular LinkedIn. He he
- 12:49Speaker 1: motivates me every week with his videos with his energy
- 12:52Speaker 1: as you hear in this interview is incredible. We'll be
- 12:55Speaker 1: back with more money making conversations with my man, Dr
- 12:58Speaker 1: Mark Baxter. We'll be right back with more from Marchana
- 13:02Speaker 1: McDonald The money making conversations. Don't touch that down. Hi,
- 13:06Speaker 1: Just Rashana mcdang and you're listening to money making Conversations.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I host this show to bring individuals on the show
- 13:12Speaker 1: that can now give you information on how to be successful.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I know their life is different, their path to success
- 13:18Speaker 1: is different, but they will share with you nuggets of
- 13:20Speaker 1: information that will allow you to understand that your path
- 13:23Speaker 1: or your dreams can be achieved. One of the true
- 13:27Speaker 1: uh and inspirations of this whole technique, seeking your greatness,
- 13:32Speaker 1: Accepting your greatness is on the phone will me today
- 13:34Speaker 1: is a very successful book alcohol how to be One
- 13:37Speaker 1: with Greatness? You were born to be great? Uh? Dr
- 13:40Speaker 1: Mark d Factor Mark, how are you doing to day?
- 13:43Speaker 1: My friend? Oh, I'm doing excellent. Mr Rashane, and listen.
- 13:47Speaker 1: It's such a pleasure to be here and I want
- 13:48Speaker 1: to thank you again for having me well great, um,
- 13:52Speaker 1: I was talking about we we kind of dipped in
- 13:53Speaker 1: a little bit when you know, like I love the
- 13:56Speaker 1: fact that you know, you just told her on the
- 13:58Speaker 1: story about your home life. But was these these little
- 14:00Speaker 1: slices of life that stories are experiences you're providing your book,
- 14:05Speaker 1: like like dealing with issues, how we how we will
- 14:08Speaker 1: hide and how we will shield, how we tend to
- 14:11Speaker 1: stop ourselves, like like expecting something that happened, and then
- 14:15Speaker 1: when it doesn't have that happen that way, how do
- 14:18Speaker 1: you deal with it? And that was that simple walk
- 14:20Speaker 1: to school when your brother Tony was taking you. You
- 14:24Speaker 1: thought he was gonna walk you all the way to school,
- 14:26Speaker 1: and you was having a good time. You know, you're
- 14:28Speaker 1: barely keeping up with him with your little short legs,
- 14:30Speaker 1: and he was just he was just walking normal. You know,
- 14:31Speaker 1: what are you looking at? You? You're just trying to
- 14:33Speaker 1: keep up. And then you just you just say a
- 14:35Speaker 1: word or two. You thought there was gonna be like
- 14:37Speaker 1: a big brother little brother conversation and he's gonna just
- 14:39Speaker 1: tell you about life on the way, and he barely
- 14:41Speaker 1: spoke to you. And then when he was almost almost
- 14:44Speaker 1: out of school, he just pointed at it. You got
- 14:47Speaker 1: it from here, I got you now. But that's what
- 14:51Speaker 1: life feels about though, because a lot of people they
- 14:53Speaker 1: get on the job, they think the job is gonna
- 14:55Speaker 1: go this way, and then when the when the job
- 14:57Speaker 1: throws in the curve, how they they deal with it
- 15:01Speaker 1: is the next step on how they're going to be successful.
- 15:03Speaker 1: That's what I took away from that story. You walk
- 15:06Speaker 1: in to school with an expectation your brother's gonna take
- 15:09Speaker 1: you to the front door that school, and he didn't.
- 15:11Speaker 1: How you dealt with it alone the way for the
- 15:13Speaker 1: rest of your life. Really, it's who you are today,
- 15:18Speaker 1: right and and and I thank you for the for
- 15:21Speaker 1: the analogy that you use with social media and things,
- 15:23Speaker 1: I say the same thing. Everybody proclaim their own goodness.
- 15:27Speaker 1: It's a perfect place for me invent yourself. But no,
- 15:29Speaker 1: you're you're you're a hundred percent right. It's all about
- 15:33Speaker 1: what how you handle the situations that you're faced with.
- 15:36Speaker 1: And when my brother was walking me to school, um, again,
- 15:39Speaker 1: you were perfect. You're in your analysis of me thinking
- 15:42Speaker 1: it's going to be a big brother and little brother interaction.
- 15:46Speaker 1: I rarely saw him. He was about sixteen years older
- 15:49Speaker 1: than me. I was the youngest, and it's a big
- 15:50Speaker 1: gap in between us. And this was individual time and
- 15:53Speaker 1: then when he left me. But what I had to realize,
- 15:56Speaker 1: and this is what I encourage us all to do.
- 15:58Speaker 1: The first person you have to look in any situation
- 16:01Speaker 1: is yourself, because all of the answers to life's problems
- 16:04Speaker 1: are in the mirror. And what I realized at a
- 16:07Speaker 1: young age is that I misled my older brother. See,
- 16:11Speaker 1: any situation that you're part of, there's something that you
- 16:14Speaker 1: gotta learn, even if it seems like it's not your fault,
- 16:17Speaker 1: Like if it seems like you're honey, innocent, there's still
- 16:20Speaker 1: something you gotta learn, or else you wouldn't have never
- 16:22Speaker 1: been encountered the situation. So when I had to look
- 16:25Speaker 1: in the mirror, I realized that I created that situation
- 16:28Speaker 1: because I used to act tougher than I really was.
- 16:31Speaker 1: You see, because I had these older brothers that were cool,
- 16:34Speaker 1: and I used to act that way too. I act
- 16:36Speaker 1: more mature. I had some pride in there. Because of
- 16:40Speaker 1: that pride is what my brother called on too. He
- 16:43Speaker 1: he felt those vibrations and in his mind, he didn't
- 16:46Speaker 1: feel like he was doing anything wrong. He felt like
- 16:49Speaker 1: he may have been doing me a favor because I was.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I was projecting as if I was more mature than
- 16:55Speaker 1: I really was. So I had to look in the
- 16:57Speaker 1: mirror fers to acknowledge how could I do different or
- 17:01Speaker 1: what how can I change my behavior in order to
- 17:03Speaker 1: get a different result. And that's set the tone for
- 17:06Speaker 1: the rest of my life. And I realized I used
- 17:08Speaker 1: to question God all the time because I didn't just
- 17:10Speaker 1: have little things happen to me. I had big things
- 17:13Speaker 1: happen to me. Like I didn't just break the arm.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I broke my femur bone, the biggest bone in your body,
- 17:18Speaker 1: your side bone. So I had to be in a
- 17:20Speaker 1: body cast for three to six months. I had to
- 17:23Speaker 1: learn how to walk all over again. So I didn't
- 17:25Speaker 1: just have little stuff happen to me. And I used
- 17:28Speaker 1: to always question, you know, God, why me? Why me?
- 17:31Speaker 1: I didn't ask for my mom not to like me.
- 17:33Speaker 1: I didn't do anything. I didn't ask for her to
- 17:36Speaker 1: do to do anything in her power to try to
- 17:38Speaker 1: tear me down. You're the one that I looked to.
- 17:41Speaker 1: You're you're my point guard, You're my go to person,
- 17:44Speaker 1: You're my quarterback. You know what I mean. But what
- 17:47Speaker 1: I realized about life is that that was just life
- 17:50Speaker 1: challenging me to be my best self. And now that
- 17:53Speaker 1: I was able to meet those challenges, that where they are.
- 17:56Speaker 1: And I mentioned earlier, every adversity comes with the eat,
- 18:00Speaker 1: if not greater blessings, adversity comes free, but you gotta
- 18:03Speaker 1: fight to secure the blessings. And I'm just one that
- 18:06Speaker 1: fights to secure my blessings. And now I'm just trying
- 18:09Speaker 1: to help other people to fight to secure their Well,
- 18:11Speaker 1: my man, that's exactly what all right? Have you on this?
- 18:15Speaker 1: Just to tell my fans and my listeners are people
- 18:17Speaker 1: who are listening for the first time because it also
- 18:19Speaker 1: plays out on my YouTube channel, who might just click
- 18:21Speaker 1: on your your photo and say wow because I wanted
- 18:25Speaker 1: to share your values. You know this book that you've written,
- 18:28Speaker 1: How to Be One with Greatness? You were born to
- 18:30Speaker 1: be great? What can we buy this book at Mark? Well,
- 18:33Speaker 1: the book is an Amazon I mean I published it
- 18:36Speaker 1: through uh the book Essence Essence Publishing UM and you
- 18:42Speaker 1: can email me directly and I'll ship it out to you.
- 18:45Speaker 1: You know, I met M Baxter at Mark Baxter dot com.
- 18:49Speaker 1: That's M Baxter b a x tr at Mark Baxter
- 18:53Speaker 1: dot com. Um, you can also hit my website Mark
- 18:56Speaker 1: at www dot Mark Baxter dot com and just shoot
- 18:58Speaker 1: me an info or whatever. But I'll get it to
- 19:00Speaker 1: you because and I appreciate you, Mr Rashaan, because it's
- 19:04Speaker 1: all about awareness. You know, a lot of people need
- 19:07Speaker 1: exactly what I have, just like we all need each other,
- 19:10Speaker 1: but we don't know, you know, so we have to
- 19:13Speaker 1: keep expecting and having a desire for better. It's all
- 19:17Speaker 1: about your desire. If you don't have a desire for better,
- 19:20Speaker 1: better is not gonna come your way, you know. So
- 19:23Speaker 1: it's all about your desire. And uh, let's talk about it.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Let's talk about the business side of you. You. We
- 19:28Speaker 1: know you're a great motivator. We know you you're passionate
- 19:31Speaker 1: about your reminding people that your past. Do not allow
- 19:35Speaker 1: your past to determine your future, your destiny's chide to
- 19:38Speaker 1: your effort. Now, you have a business that I wanted
- 19:40Speaker 1: to bring up to your peril. Company called Gangster mindset
- 19:43Speaker 1: LLC is reading redefining the word gangster with a positive spind.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Talk about that absolutely, Like I've always um, you know,
- 19:52Speaker 1: I've always had desired being from the inner city, from
- 19:54Speaker 1: poverty and things like that and coming out being a
- 19:57Speaker 1: being a man of character and integrity, you know, not perfect,
- 20:01Speaker 1: but as pure of a heart as you'll find. You know,
- 20:03Speaker 1: I realized that. You know, it's all about growth and development.
- 20:09Speaker 1: You know, it's all about growth and development. So you
- 20:11Speaker 1: gotta put yourself in the best position so you can
- 20:13Speaker 1: continue to grow and develop. And that's all. That's all
- 20:16Speaker 1: that I do, and that's all that I aspire other
- 20:18Speaker 1: people to. So Epartment Unlimited is a company for individuals, businesses,
- 20:22Speaker 1: and the entire world. And it's it's about coaching and
- 20:26Speaker 1: consulting from a mindset and leadership perspective. So I have
- 20:29Speaker 1: a mindset methodology program that I use to take people
- 20:35Speaker 1: and master themselves. Because I have a personal quote, once
- 20:38Speaker 1: you master yourself, life has no choice but to forever
- 20:42Speaker 1: bowed down to you. I'll say it again, Once you
- 20:45Speaker 1: master yourself, life has no choice but to forever bowed
- 20:49Speaker 1: down to you. And here's why. Because the world is
- 20:52Speaker 1: all fake as you just mentioned social media, but yourself,
- 20:55Speaker 1: you have your wired with greatness and authenticity. So when
- 20:58Speaker 1: you master that, the world can touch you. So in
- 21:01Speaker 1: my company, I raised businesses, individuals two levels unimaginable you
- 21:06Speaker 1: know Gainster mindset of power with the closing company I
- 21:08Speaker 1: just dropped, and what it means is boldness, excellence and uniqueness.
- 21:14Speaker 1: So every day I do a video and I get
- 21:16Speaker 1: three steps on that video. The last step is always
- 21:19Speaker 1: you got to develop against mindset, and I give a
- 21:22Speaker 1: different description of what Ganinster mindset is in fact today's video.
- 21:26Speaker 1: The third point is you got to develop against mindset,
- 21:29Speaker 1: a mind bold enough to believe that life is always
- 21:32Speaker 1: happening for you and not to you, regardless of what
- 21:36Speaker 1: it may look like or feel like. My man, Okay,
- 21:41Speaker 1: you know you got me fired up rights missing a complict. Well,
- 21:50Speaker 1: you know the beauty and first of all, you noticed
- 21:52Speaker 1: that the last time on my show. Because I don't
- 21:54Speaker 1: reach out to people because I have a vision, people
- 21:56Speaker 1: have called me a visionary. I see things and how
- 21:59Speaker 1: I talk to people and these conversations. A lot of
- 22:01Speaker 1: people call me their uncle. And you you can come
- 22:03Speaker 1: into little Roushan Uncle club because of the fact that
- 22:07Speaker 1: I want to be there for you. You You know, if
- 22:08Speaker 1: you ever want to call and uh, I give myself
- 22:11Speaker 1: if you want to call and say, Rashan, what do
- 22:12Speaker 1: you think about this? This is about not about me
- 22:15Speaker 1: making money. It's about making ensuring you that you're getting
- 22:18Speaker 1: the advice from a successful person who's had many paths
- 22:22Speaker 1: out there, and and and many. Some people call me
- 22:25Speaker 1: a renaissurce man because I'm able to rechange myself. I'm
- 22:28Speaker 1: able to reinvent the process of that path. I see
- 22:32Speaker 1: an opportunity. What I do not do, Mark is think
- 22:35Speaker 1: about it. I go forward. You know. But if we're
- 22:38Speaker 1: shining over there thinking no, I think he's over there
- 22:40Speaker 1: digging the ditch. Now. I think he's already laying the
- 22:44Speaker 1: concrete to the foundation for his next house. I think
- 22:46Speaker 1: that's what you're doing. So when you talk about before
- 22:49Speaker 1: we get off there, when you see you contribute most
- 22:51Speaker 1: to business success, can you give us some nuggets and
- 22:55Speaker 1: what you mean when you say that statement? Oh man, listen,
- 22:59Speaker 1: business success is nothing more. See, before you got a business,
- 23:02Speaker 1: you got an individual. All the team is is a
- 23:04Speaker 1: group of individuals. And what what makes it the team
- 23:08Speaker 1: as the commitment to the common goal. You see. So
- 23:11Speaker 1: in order to have a successful business, you gotta first
- 23:14Speaker 1: have a successful why. You gotta know your why, Why
- 23:18Speaker 1: do you want this business? Who are you serving? Why
- 23:21Speaker 1: do you want to serve that population. And as Damon
- 23:23Speaker 1: John says, I've been a Rising Grind ambassador now I'm
- 23:26Speaker 1: a power Shift ambassador for Damon John over the last
- 23:30Speaker 1: two years. And his main thing is know your target audience.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Who are you selling to? So you gotta know your why,
- 23:38Speaker 1: like why do you want to get this product or
- 23:41Speaker 1: this service out? And then you gotta know who wants
- 23:43Speaker 1: the service and products, and then you gotta find creative
- 23:46Speaker 1: ways to put it in their hands, make them friends,
- 23:49Speaker 1: make them, you know, customers, and you gotta and that's
- 23:52Speaker 1: what you have to do. And you gotta constantly reinvent yourself.
- 23:56Speaker 1: See the reason when Puppy and Damon John broke up,
- 23:58Speaker 1: you know I mean, not for when jay Z and
- 24:01Speaker 1: Damon and David and I said, Damon John, When Puffy
- 24:04Speaker 1: and Damon Dad broke up, you know from Rocket Feller,
- 24:08Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And jay Z say, okay,
- 24:09Speaker 1: you may, you may hold make another hole in his reckercy.
- 24:13Speaker 1: So so what happened is that jay Z was able
- 24:16Speaker 1: to reinvent himself. Now you see billionaire jazz it See
- 24:20Speaker 1: this game is about reinventing yourself because things constantly change.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Life is about evolution. Constant change. So if you think
- 24:27Speaker 1: you can stay the same and continue to rise and
- 24:29Speaker 1: elevate your wrong So in order for you to be
- 24:32Speaker 1: successful in life and in business, you gotta want. You
- 24:35Speaker 1: gotta know your why said it to the depth of it.
- 24:38Speaker 1: You gotta know your why. Why are you doing it?
- 24:40Speaker 1: Why are you want to be successful? Who can you help?
- 24:43Speaker 1: And then you gotta know who who you going to help?
- 24:45Speaker 1: Who's who likes your product, who wants your product, who
- 24:48Speaker 1: needs your products or service? And then you gotta find
- 24:50Speaker 1: creative ways to make them wanting and need it over
- 24:53Speaker 1: and over and over again, while not being afraid to
- 24:57Speaker 1: dives ben and reinvent yourself. I'm talking to Dr Mark
- 25:00Speaker 1: the Baxter, the author of the incredible book How to
- 25:03Speaker 1: Be One with Greatness. You were born to be great. Mark,
- 25:06Speaker 1: thank you for coming on my show Money Making Conversations.
- 25:09Speaker 1: The pleasure is all mine man, Thank you so much
- 25:12Speaker 1: on the depth of my heart and we would talk soon.
- 25:14Speaker 1: My friend, keep winning and uh, I keep watching those videos,
- 25:17Speaker 1: so you better not stop. Okay, I can't stop. Won't stop.
- 25:20Speaker 1: That's the poppy one for you. Bye bye,
