- 2:12Speaker 1: I want to share something with you this morning.
- 2:15Speaker 9: In order for God to bless you, you have to
- 2:21Speaker 9: you have to have something you know and and and
- 2:25Speaker 9: that means I guess, I guess what I'm saying is
- 2:28Speaker 9: God can only bless you by your faith and your effort.
- 2:32Speaker 9: That's the only way He can bless you, by your
- 2:35Speaker 9: faith and your effort. Now, because of his grace, he
- 2:41Speaker 9: gives us so many things that we don't even we
- 2:44Speaker 9: don't ask for, we don't thank him for.
- 2:48Speaker 1: You know, we don't even have on the list.
- 2:50Speaker 7: You know.
- 2:51Speaker 9: Oftentimes, you know many of us have health. We never
- 2:54Speaker 9: thank him for it. We get another opportunity to wake
- 2:56Speaker 9: up the next day. We never thank him for it.
- 2:58Speaker 9: We take so many small things because of his grace,
- 3:02Speaker 9: we just take for granted, like it's just supposed to
- 3:05Speaker 9: pop off for us, just like that. Okay, including that,
- 3:12Speaker 9: what all this wonderful things he does us and he
- 3:14Speaker 9: blesses us even far beyond our wildest dreams. I'm talking
- 3:18Speaker 9: about myself now and a lot of you listening without
- 3:23Speaker 9: us confiding or conferring in him, he still watches over
- 3:27Speaker 9: up watches over us. I'm talking to all of us now.
- 3:31Speaker 9: Here is what you get blessed on through your faith
- 3:35Speaker 9: and your efforts. I mean, he really gives you give
- 3:39Speaker 9: him something to work with. This what I'm saying, He's
- 3:42Speaker 9: gonna do certain things for us automatically because he just
- 3:47Speaker 9: loves us.
- 3:47Speaker 1: He automatically does.
- 3:49Speaker 9: Things for us that we take so for granted that
- 3:52Speaker 9: a lot of people are not experiencing because the day
- 3:54Speaker 9: time is up or whatever. I don't know the reason,
- 3:56Speaker 9: but whatever the case, but he does so many things
- 3:59Speaker 9: for us.
- 3:59Speaker 7: All.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Imagine what could happen to you if you just gave
- 4:04Speaker 1: him a little bit to work with You ever thought
- 4:07Speaker 1: about that?
- 4:08Speaker 9: Suppose this idea that's been burning on the inside of you.
- 4:13Speaker 9: Suppose you just started it today and don't wait to
- 4:17Speaker 9: start an idea when you can figure it all the
- 4:20Speaker 9: way through, because you'll never get started.
- 4:23Speaker 7: You know.
- 4:24Speaker 9: It cripples so many people because they think of how
- 4:27Speaker 9: to start their business. Then they look all the way
- 4:29Speaker 9: down the road or the loans they gonna need, and
- 4:32Speaker 9: they don't know nobody and they credit bad, so they stopped.
- 4:36Speaker 1: They never started.
- 4:37Speaker 9: What would happen had you ever thought if you just
- 4:39Speaker 9: started do the part of the business that you could do,
- 4:43Speaker 9: and ask God to lead you and guide you to
- 4:45Speaker 9: the next step, that that thing called faith, the belief
- 4:48Speaker 9: in things that you cannot see. Suppose you just started
- 4:52Speaker 9: out on faith, You just stepped out the water, stepped
- 4:55Speaker 9: out the boat and stood on the water, just on faith,
- 4:59Speaker 9: seeing that is rough, but just believing that He would
- 5:02Speaker 9: take care of you, just believing that he would get
- 5:05Speaker 9: you through, just believing that He would lead you to
- 5:08Speaker 9: the next step.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Start.
- 5:10Speaker 9: If you just started, man, you would then give God
- 5:14Speaker 9: something to put his finger on and to bless. People
- 5:18Speaker 9: say to me all the time, man, man, Steve, it
- 5:20Speaker 9: seemed like everything you do work, man.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Do you know what it is? Really?
- 5:26Speaker 9: I just lose the fear of failing, and I start.
- 5:30Speaker 9: I don't know how to do all of this. Come on, Man,
- 5:34Speaker 9: if I could have told you ten years ago, or
- 5:38Speaker 9: there's no way I could have told you, I'd be
- 5:40Speaker 9: why i'm today. But if anyone had come to me
- 5:42Speaker 9: and said, Steve, in ten years you will be doing this, that, this,
- 5:47Speaker 9: that and the other, they will recognize you here. You'll
- 5:50Speaker 9: get this recognized recognition, you'll get this award, and you'll
- 5:54Speaker 9: be living like this.
- 5:55Speaker 1: I'd have just looked at them like they was crazy.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I really would have.
- 5:58Speaker 7: Man.
- 5:59Speaker 9: It's not that I didn't have the faith, it's just
- 6:02Speaker 9: that in my imagination I didn't see it. I've always
- 6:06Speaker 9: believed in God, I just didn't see things for myself. See,
- 6:11Speaker 9: I didn't open myself up to what God had for me.
- 6:14Speaker 9: I was just living my life based on what I
- 6:17Speaker 9: could see for me. When I stopped worried about what
- 6:21Speaker 9: I could see for me and started allowing God to
- 6:24Speaker 9: do what he could do for me, it changed my
- 6:27Speaker 9: whole existence because I've found out that God's plan was
- 6:31Speaker 9: way better than mine.
- 6:32Speaker 1: But you got to start something. You got to give God.
- 6:36Speaker 9: Something to put his finger on that might's touched where
- 6:39Speaker 9: it turned into something.
- 6:42Speaker 1: You got to let your imagination go.
- 6:45Speaker 9: You got to let your imagination fly as wild as
- 6:47Speaker 9: it can fly without being constricted by the confines of
- 6:51Speaker 9: where you live and what color you are, and what
- 6:54Speaker 9: sex you are, and how much money you make and
- 6:56Speaker 9: what your degree say. You got to let your imagination
- 7:00Speaker 9: fly beyond that. You got to go for it. You
- 7:03Speaker 9: got to step out on faith and you got to
- 7:05Speaker 9: go for it. Oh and did I mention you got
- 7:07Speaker 9: to pray. Don't want to lead that out? Then you
- 7:11Speaker 9: got to seek understanding. Man, read Proverbs. Proverbs is a
- 7:17Speaker 9: great book to start with out. You know, I guess
- 7:20Speaker 9: other people got other worse I'm just telling you about me. Man,
- 7:22Speaker 9: it's probably some better places to start.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 7:25Speaker 9: Proverbs was to start for me, the book of wisdom
- 7:28Speaker 9: and understanding that helped develop my thought process, which helped
- 7:32Speaker 9: me become fairly successful. Proverbs teaches you everything you need
- 7:38Speaker 9: to know. And if you can't read the King James version,
- 7:40Speaker 9: get you one of them translated Bibles. What difference it
- 7:43Speaker 9: makes long as you hear what he's saying to you.
- 7:46Speaker 9: Oh and did I mention, don't forget to pray and
- 7:50Speaker 9: then take the idea, the business, the journey you want
- 7:55Speaker 9: to embark on and break it down inch by inch
- 7:58Speaker 9: anythings and such. Just start with the peace that you
- 8:01Speaker 9: can do. Okay, you don't know how you go get
- 8:04Speaker 9: the loan. When it's time for the loan, what part
- 8:06Speaker 9: you can you design the business card? Can you make
- 8:09Speaker 9: a YouTube video and post it? Can you start telling
- 8:13Speaker 9: people that you're associated with this is what you do now?
- 8:16Speaker 9: You could start somewhere. You can get a gig somewhere
- 8:19Speaker 9: doing something. Somebody will pay you for the service right now,
- 8:23Speaker 9: and then simplify it, take it and break it down
- 8:27Speaker 9: to the lowest common denominatorqut trying to figure it all out?
- 8:30Speaker 1: Simplify it? What can I do now? I can't figure
- 8:34Speaker 1: this out. It's too complex, it's too difficult, it's too
- 8:36Speaker 1: many levels.
- 8:37Speaker 10: Quit tripping on that.
- 8:38Speaker 9: Do the part you can do, but start, man, Just
- 8:43Speaker 9: get started today. Stop delaying it. Every time you put
- 8:47Speaker 9: it off, you see further away from it, don't you.
- 8:49Speaker 9: Why won't you start that your imagination? Go open it up.
- 8:55Speaker 9: You know, if you can't imagine, god show can Einstein
- 8:59Speaker 9: said it one time, he said that imagination is everything.
- 9:03Speaker 9: It's the preview to life's coming attractions? Oh is that crazy?
- 9:08Speaker 9: Is that crazy? Do you know that everything we do
- 9:11Speaker 9: somebody imagined it? But do you know when they imagine
- 9:14Speaker 9: if somebody laughed at them. Man, I'm gonna make a
- 9:16Speaker 9: car that you can sit on it and automatically drive
- 9:19Speaker 9: in the wheels a rod. Who gonna do that? Okay,
- 9:23Speaker 9: here we go, We all ride in cars. Man, I'm
- 9:25Speaker 9: gonna fly. I'm gonna make something that will take people
- 9:28Speaker 9: far away in the air. People board flights every day. Man,
- 9:34Speaker 9: somebody sat up there and looked at that moon and said, Man,
- 9:36Speaker 9: one day, I'm going to the moon. He talking about going.
- 9:39Speaker 1: To the moon.
- 9:40Speaker 9: They take people to the moon all the time. Imagination
- 9:43Speaker 9: is everything. It's the preview to life's coming attractions. Or
- 9:47Speaker 9: are you imagining for yourself? What do you see coming?
- 9:51Speaker 9: What's your coming attractions? I'm so grateful I change mine.
- 9:54Speaker 9: Oh I see being because I see God.
- 9:56Speaker 10: Come on, y'all, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.

- 10:35Speaker 9: because there are some things that's right that's going on
- 10:37Speaker 9: in your life. I don't care how bad it appears.
- 10:40Speaker 9: You could have believed there's something right going on in
- 10:42Speaker 9: your life and if you can find it in the
- 10:45Speaker 9: middle of your crisis, in the middle of your darkness.
- 10:48Speaker 1: To thank him.
- 10:49Speaker 9: Anyway, boy, watch what happened to you. I'm just telling
- 10:54Speaker 9: you what I know. These ain't no guessing, I ain't
- 10:56Speaker 9: throwing out no new theories or nothing like this. I'm
- 10:58Speaker 9: telling you what I know, man, about the power of
- 11:02Speaker 9: positive thinking, the power of meditation, and the power of prayer.

- 17:04Speaker 7: I said that, yeah, But but now now I'm from
- 17:09Speaker 7: my understanding, I asked him, I said, where did you
- 17:11Speaker 7: hear that kind of language? Being? Said? Where did you
- 17:14Speaker 7: hear that from? And he said he heard it from
- 17:16Speaker 7: his father at home.
- 17:17Speaker 4: That's like, I don't talk like that around my kids.
- 17:20Speaker 4: That's that's a bunch of like that.
- 17:23Speaker 7: You're here, you are saying it. Now, you're cursing.
- 17:26Speaker 4: Now I'm cussing to you. But I don't cuss them
- 17:29Speaker 4: up kids like that. I don't talk to my kids

- 17:37Speaker 7: front of the kids as well.
- 17:38Speaker 4: Hold on, hold on, hold on, holder, listen. I'm a
- 17:40Speaker 4: grown man. You can't you calling me telling me about
- 17:44Speaker 4: my kids, and you're gonna tell me how I can't
- 17:46Speaker 4: talk to you. I don't talk around my kids like that.
- 17:50Speaker 4: That's what I'm trying to tell you.
- 17:51Speaker 7: Sir, let me, let me, let me bring this to

- 18:18Speaker 7: Wit, No like this. Now.
- 18:21Speaker 4: The first three those ain't mine. They dad live up

- 18:38Speaker 7: I have to bring all five children. And that's just

- 20:58Speaker 4: Tell me because somebody pulls up there at four o'clock,
- 21:01Speaker 4: they was getting the muffles stop in the top of

- 21:44Speaker 8: Nothing's worse than pet's bouncing on and off your bed

- 21:48Speaker 1: Waking you up every time.

- 21:54Speaker 8: like a temper pedic with a unique material that absorbs

- 22:12Speaker 13: and subject to location. Ce store for details.
- 22:15Speaker 12: It is time to ask the CLO. This one's from
- 22:19Speaker 12: Shay in Southfield, she says. In December My boyfriend said
- 22:23Speaker 12: he needed a break after he had a major health scare,
- 22:26Speaker 12: and instead of letting me be there for him, he
- 22:28Speaker 12: chose space. I gave him space, and I spent the
- 22:31Speaker 12: New Year's Eve with an X. Does he have the
- 22:33Speaker 12: right to be mad at me?
- 22:34Speaker 7: God?
- 22:36Speaker 1: Wow? Wow? He he needed space?
- 22:39Speaker 10: What's the girl to do?
- 22:40Speaker 1: He needed space? And you spent New Year's Eve with
- 22:43Speaker 1: an X? Woe?
- 22:46Speaker 14: Yep?
- 22:48Speaker 9: So I guess you took that to see what you
- 22:50Speaker 9: were again, Junior. That's a prime example right there. See,
- 22:54Speaker 9: he expressed himself and said he needed space. Now I
- 22:57Speaker 9: guess what you see?
- 22:57Speaker 1: Who do that?
- 22:58Speaker 9: It's a trap question? So if you need space, then
- 23:01Speaker 9: I need more space. See that's all the trap. Dog
- 23:05Speaker 9: don't don't, don't even fall from that.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Does he have a right to be mad? Yeah?
- 23:11Speaker 9: Yeah, he got a right to be mad because he
- 23:13Speaker 9: asked for space. He didn't ask y'all to start dating
- 23:15Speaker 9: other people. And I don't know what the health scire was,
- 23:20Speaker 9: but you know you gave him space.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Yeah, all rights.
- 23:36Speaker 10: Jeremy and Charlotte.
- 23:38Speaker 12: Jeremy says, my wife and I met at work and
- 23:41Speaker 12: used to have sex in her car when we first met.
- 23:44Speaker 12: She wants to be a socialite really bad now, and
- 23:47Speaker 12: the sweet things that I've always done for her aren't
- 23:49Speaker 12: good enough?
- 23:50Speaker 4: Now?
- 23:51Speaker 10: Would I be wrong to give her a reality check?
- 23:54Speaker 9: Well, bro, I don't understand what you're saying, because the
- 23:58Speaker 9: sweet things you used to do for her the only
- 24:00Speaker 9: thing you told us y'all had sex in the car.
- 24:03Speaker 9: Now she wants to be a socialite, but you still
- 24:06Speaker 9: won't have sex in the car for.
- 24:10Speaker 7: Ye.
- 24:10Speaker 1: So so what did you saying? Brother?
- 24:12Speaker 7: Y'all?
- 24:13Speaker 1: Y'all drive down to the socialite ball.
- 24:15Speaker 7: For you go in.
- 24:16Speaker 1: You knock it out of the car right quick before
- 24:18Speaker 1: you go in. She don't want to do that. I
- 24:20Speaker 1: don't really know what you're saying, bro, because I don't.
- 24:24Speaker 9: You didn't give us no example of all the kind
- 24:26Speaker 9: little things you've done for You made one statement, we
- 24:29Speaker 9: used to have sex in the car for we got married.
- 24:31Speaker 9: Now we're mad. She want to be a social a LIKEE.
- 24:33Speaker 9: Now she don't want to do She don't appreciate the
- 24:34Speaker 9: little things I've done for her. So I'm just assuming
- 24:38Speaker 9: she done took sex in the car off the table?
- 24:40Speaker 7: You just.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Now no oh oh oh now she boogy now oh,
- 24:48Speaker 1: Now you don't want to get you don't want to
- 24:50Speaker 1: get rolled over in the car.
- 24:51Speaker 11: No more?
- 24:52Speaker 1: Okay, Oh you acting brand new now, I be all right.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Well it's sound right, bro. Next on's you. Moving on
- 25:09Speaker 1: to Marlee and the d m V.
- 25:11Speaker 12: Marley writes, my husband stayed out all night Saturday night
- 25:15Speaker 12: and he said he was in a casino and lost
- 25:17Speaker 12: track of time. I tried to go off on him,
- 25:19Speaker 12: and he turned it around on me, saying I should
- 25:21Speaker 12: have called and checked on him.
- 25:23Speaker 10: Does he have a valid point or is this a
- 25:25Speaker 10: cover up?
- 25:27Speaker 1: Absolutely? He has a valid point. Absolutely.
- 25:34Speaker 9: First of all, there are no clocks in the casino nowhere.
- 25:42Speaker 9: You can lose track of time in the casino. I
- 25:45Speaker 9: have done it many times and then call.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Call for what you Okay, Yeah, you should have called
- 25:58Speaker 1: and checked on me. Wasn't no car. You ain't on
- 26:01Speaker 1: me to call.
- 26:01Speaker 9: I'm gambling. I'm trying to change your circumstances. I'm out
- 26:05Speaker 9: here trying to crack the bed and you.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Sitting up in here dog and me because I'm here
- 26:09Speaker 1: trying to handle beers and stuff. Bru ibby. Yeah, he
- 26:13Speaker 1: has a valid point.
- 26:14Speaker 9: And you know what, if you're not gonna check on him,
- 26:16Speaker 9: you can't expect him to call and he was in
- 26:18Speaker 9: a casino and he lost track of time. That sounds
- 26:21Speaker 9: very very valid to me. Plus you have no proof
- 26:26Speaker 9: of anything else happening. Are you now your little mind
- 26:30Speaker 9: and playing tricks on you?
- 26:31Speaker 10: Here we go last one, Steve. This is from Trina
- 26:34Speaker 10: and Phoenix.
- 26:34Speaker 12: Trina says, I met a man online eight months ago
- 26:38Speaker 12: and he's tired of our long distance relationship. I suggested
- 26:42Speaker 12: he moved to Phoenix and he said there aren't enough
- 26:45Speaker 12: black people here. That's that's a dumb excuse to me.
- 26:49Speaker 12: But why hasn't he asked me to move to Atlanta?
- 26:53Speaker 1: Well, you got two things working here.
- 26:56Speaker 9: He is absolutely correct that he not coming out to
- 26:59Speaker 9: Phoenix cause ain't enough black people out that that's one
- 27:01Speaker 9: of the major reasons I'm not going to ever move
- 27:03Speaker 9: to Phoenix. And I'm not going to a state that
- 27:06Speaker 9: fights against the day off a holiday. That's racism at
- 27:10Speaker 9: a whole nother level. So I had he has a
- 27:12Speaker 9: valid point. There are not enough black people in Phoenix,
- 27:15Speaker 9: and the reason you ain't coming to Atlanta is because
- 27:17Speaker 9: there's too many black people in Atlanta.
- 27:23Speaker 1: Is one more y'all? He fooled. He full of Atlanta.
- 27:31Speaker 7: Boy.
- 27:32Speaker 9: You saw he online dating too, girl. I told him
- 27:37Speaker 9: to come to Phoenix. He tied a relationship, but now
- 27:40Speaker 9: he said, see but see, lady, guess what. You're not
- 27:43Speaker 9: listening to what he said. He said he tied oft
- 27:46Speaker 9: a long this relationship. He ain't saying he wanted to
- 27:48Speaker 9: close the gap. All he told you was he tired
- 27:52Speaker 9: of the long just relationship. You suggested he moved to Phoenix.
- 27:56Speaker 9: He say, ain't enough black people like that. Now you
- 27:58Speaker 9: want to know why he ain't asked you moved to
- 28:00Speaker 9: Atlanta because he tied at the long this is relationship.
- 28:03Speaker 9: And guess who the relationship with?
- 28:05Speaker 4: You?
- 28:07Speaker 1: See why why y'all don't read the whole message. The
- 28:11Speaker 1: reason he's not asking you to come to Atlanta because
- 28:14Speaker 1: he tied at the long this is relationship. That's well said.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I'm tired of you, just a nice way of saying
- 28:22Speaker 1: it is that what it is? You know me, and
- 28:25Speaker 1: you know me, and you know we avoid You know
- 28:27Speaker 1: how we really got to be the bad guy night, Julie,
- 28:30Speaker 1: pay attention to me.
- 28:32Speaker 10: I pay attention to that, all right, pay.
- 28:35Speaker 9: Attention to see how he did it. I'm tired this long,
- 28:37Speaker 9: this relationship, you move the fingers. Ain't enough black people?
- 28:40Speaker 9: Well okay, then.
- 28:42Speaker 1: All right, all right, Well.
- 28:45Speaker 15: Mister Steve Arbin Martin show Man, if he was going
- 28:48Speaker 15: to commit a robbery, who would you do with Shirley
- 28:51Speaker 15: a caller?
- 28:52Speaker 1: How would you Why we're.
- 28:54Speaker 9: Here, Colin, hands down, We stopped ask this question. Sully
- 29:01Speaker 9: got cut problem. First of all, she don't cuss. Now,
- 29:03Speaker 9: how we gonna get everybody in the flow at the robbery?
- 29:07Speaker 9: And you don't want to cuss at the.
- 29:09Speaker 10: Mind guys, we need everyone to get on the floor.
- 29:12Speaker 9: No, see, you need somebody to cuss. That's how you
- 29:14Speaker 9: get them in the floor. That's the first problem.
- 29:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Secondly, when I hollered, yeah, bote it down.
- 29:21Speaker 9: Yeah, then here comes the correction, Steve, it's everyone Okay,
- 29:28Speaker 9: Now we got another problem.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Then number three, she's scary. Yeah, it's just a real
- 29:34Speaker 1: scary person. And then she bugy she all at the
- 29:40Speaker 1: robbery with heels on and stuff, got a mid drift
- 29:45Speaker 1: top on and all this heit. What is you doing crop?
- 29:50Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 29:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't though.
- 29:55Speaker 9: I need calling somebody in. There's gonna be hood. And
- 29:58Speaker 9: then the last thing, sure too, honest, Yes it was
- 30:02Speaker 9: us what we don't have video.
- 30:08Speaker 1: It's okay, it was us. I cannot lie. Yeah, call
- 30:14Speaker 1: it be in the line.
- 30:15Speaker 9: Got a mask on and thrust everybody out, shot somebody
- 30:20Speaker 9: in the leg.
- 30:20Speaker 1: We're gonna come out of that, was it? You know
- 30:24Speaker 1: that's her favorite word, allegedly, don't tell the truth up
- 30:32Speaker 1: right after?
- 30:37Speaker 8: All?
- 30:37Speaker 10: Right, So I have a question for you guys, Steve.
- 30:39Speaker 12: You know, we just had big holidays, big family, traditional
- 30:44Speaker 12: holidays like we do for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Maybe not
- 30:47Speaker 12: as big as in the past, but still people over
- 30:49Speaker 12: the house. So here's a question. What do you say
- 30:53Speaker 12: to let your company know that you're ready for them
- 30:56Speaker 12: to leave the house? Yeah, really saying that you're ready
- 31:01Speaker 12: for them to leave?
- 31:04Speaker 1: Well, I guess that's it, Younger. Going on to night,
- 31:10Speaker 1: I do like the club? Do I start diming lights
- 31:15Speaker 1: that last call? Yeah, I start dialming lights and cutting
- 31:20Speaker 1: music off. We're going in this year. We're gonna let
- 31:21Speaker 1: you know it's a difference going on.
- 31:24Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:25Speaker 1: Yeah, Steve is pretty direct.
- 31:27Speaker 9: You don't have to he direct. Yes, I go to
- 31:29Speaker 9: the cot closet. Next thing, you know, you see me.
- 31:32Speaker 9: I just got a handful of jackets. Hey, which one
- 31:36Speaker 9: of these yours?
- 31:36Speaker 11: Dog.
- 31:40Speaker 1: He did get in get into ben.
- 31:45Speaker 8: What he did that in New York when we steve
- 31:48Speaker 8: when we were the New York remember that, Timmy, he
- 31:51Speaker 8: was a hard party. You wanted us to come over
- 31:54Speaker 8: then just we thought we were having a good time
- 31:57Speaker 8: playing cards. He just went to the coat closet and
- 31:59Speaker 8: just started throwing us coke.
- 32:01Speaker 1: What with Jackie George time jack Okay, cool, that's the
- 32:12Speaker 1: best way to do it, you know. He said, y'all finished,
- 32:14Speaker 1: and he was picking up our plates. And then that's
- 32:17Speaker 1: around the table just hey, you know hey.
- 32:20Speaker 9: And then you know, once people see other people start
- 32:22Speaker 9: putting their jacket on, you know, it kind of kind
- 32:24Speaker 9: of it gets contagious.
- 32:28Speaker 1: You did have to go. I was trying to be
- 32:31Speaker 1: kind to you.
- 32:32Speaker 9: Shurey, get on out now because you stay up in here,
- 32:34Speaker 9: and tell you right now, tell me what about. Ain't
- 32:39Speaker 9: no free morning coffee up in here, so you need
- 32:42Speaker 9: your coat, Shirley to get your coat.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Call this child, let's go, let's go, let's get on
- 32:46Speaker 1: out of here. He let's wrap this up.
- 32:48Speaker 9: Tell you right now, ain't no free cups of coffee
- 32:50Speaker 9: in the morning up in there. This ain't comfident in
- 32:52Speaker 9: what you're doing. If you drink your coffee in the
- 32:54Speaker 9: morning and here you're gonna work for it. All right,
- 32:56Speaker 9: let's go.
- 32:58Speaker 1: You had heard it, You got it? Look up of coffee.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Don't be up in here. You're gonna need on all
- 33:05Speaker 1: kind of stuff in the morning. Can just get out

- 33:13Speaker 9: get your coat. And now I got too much respect
- 33:17Speaker 9: for you. Come on, ladies, let's get your coat. Because
- 33:20Speaker 9: you're up in this apartment at one am. I'm telling
- 33:22Speaker 9: you right now, there's some stuff that go down up here.
- 33:25Speaker 9: Come on, let's go. Let's get your jackets home. I'll
- 33:28Speaker 9: respect you too much. Please get out for one am, please, please.
- 33:33Speaker 12: So here's a question for you, guys. How attractive or
- 33:37Speaker 12: handsome are you really? A new survey from super drug
- 33:41Speaker 12: Online Doctor found on average, men rate themselves a five
- 33:46Speaker 12: point nine on an overall attractiveness scale of one to ten.
- 33:51Speaker 12: Only forty two percent of men are happy with their looks.
- 33:54Speaker 12: Some other interesting findings of the survey are this, men
- 33:58Speaker 12: think the ideal height is six feet and the perfect
- 34:02Speaker 12: weight is around one hundred and sixty eight pounds.
- 34:05Speaker 1: One hundred and sixty eight six freet what.
- 34:10Speaker 10: You went to weight? Tell me when to hyde?
- 34:12Speaker 1: Okay, I ain't none of this right, Wait a minute,
- 34:15Speaker 1: six feet, one hundred and sixty eight pounds. That's guineas
- 34:18Speaker 1: all get out. That's the perfect one. Nobody want to
- 34:21Speaker 1: weigh on one sixty eight. That's hungry. That's what that is.
- 34:26Speaker 1: You know, if I weighed one hundred and sixty eight pounds,
- 34:29Speaker 1: how all you see?
- 34:30Speaker 3: Six two one sixty eight? Ain't no long I'd actually
- 34:33Speaker 3: try to whip you one to sixty eight. I went
- 34:35Speaker 3: to actually try, and.
- 34:36Speaker 1: You probably could. I have to run the weak.
- 34:42Speaker 9: But let's get out of this, this number out of
- 34:44Speaker 9: it like I would. On the scale of one to ten,
- 34:47Speaker 9: I think I'm reading by like a six or six
- 34:49Speaker 9: point two.
- 34:51Speaker 12: Okay, that was right in that average five. That's why
- 34:54Speaker 12: I you know, junior, what about you on a scale?
- 34:57Speaker 15: I just want to thank the study for the point
- 34:59Speaker 15: now because I was fast? Oh okay about a fast?
- 35:03Speaker 9: What's on the scale of one to ten where most
- 35:08Speaker 9: men find themselves the average man says five point nine?
- 35:11Speaker 10: Yeah, so I said it was six sixteen.
- 35:14Speaker 9: I'm six two all the way around, six two in
- 35:16Speaker 9: high six two in looks on the scale of one
- 35:18Speaker 9: to ten.
- 35:19Speaker 10: Okay, what about your junior?
- 35:21Speaker 15: I thought I just about a five, you know, but
- 35:23Speaker 15: they gave me point nine, just the average I'll take.
- 35:26Speaker 1: They gave you. Don't have to take that point now.
- 35:29Speaker 1: All right on back to that side where you're healing.
- 35:31Speaker 12: All right, let's get to it. Let's get to the
- 35:33Speaker 12: Netflix scale of one to ten. How do you rate yourself.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Nine point eight?
- 35:39Speaker 3: The hell, man, Jesus, you got all the hookliness out

- 54:55Speaker 1: I walked in the kitchen, I looked at everybody. I'm different.
- 54:58Speaker 3: I get mad at my wife at that point, Have
- 55:00Speaker 3: me some foods outside, take care of me.
- 55:05Speaker 1: I'm sorry. First, my toe was very nice. Have me
- 55:11Speaker 1: some food?
- 55:14Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, if you don't, Mary, if you have me
- 55:17Speaker 3: a plate set aside, I'm not gonna eat these large,
- 55:20Speaker 3: gigantic places and everybody are eating.
- 55:22Speaker 1: I'm not gonna do that. What if she put your
- 55:24Speaker 1: plate aside and somebody eat it?
- 55:28Speaker 4: Now?

- 56:50Speaker 10: Thank you, nephew. Subject, what's so darn funny?
- 56:53Speaker 1: Okay?
- 56:54Speaker 12: Dear Stephen Shirley, I've been married for eighteen years and
- 56:57Speaker 12: I'm dating a younger lady on the side. I know
- 57:00Speaker 12: what you're thinking, but my wife stopped having sex with
- 57:03Speaker 12: me two years ago, and she got smart during an
- 57:06Speaker 12: argument and told me I could do whatever I needed
- 57:08Speaker 12: to do on the side because she didn't want me anymore.
- 57:12Speaker 12: It hurt like heck, but I moved on and met
- 57:15Speaker 12: someone new. My side chick is married, but she and
- 57:19Speaker 12: her husband have been living apart for four years. I'm
- 57:23Speaker 12: fifty five and my girlfriend is thirty five. She's tall
- 57:27Speaker 12: and thick with a tiny waist. It was love at
- 57:32Speaker 12: first sight and I wanted nothing more than to make
- 57:36Speaker 12: her mind. We didn't rush into sex because I haven't
- 57:39Speaker 12: been with another woman since I met my wife twenty
- 57:41Speaker 12: two years ago. When we finally had sex recently, I
- 57:46Speaker 12: admitted I was nervous. She thought it was sweet, and
- 57:49Speaker 12: she jokingly said she'd take good care of me. When
- 57:53Speaker 12: I kissed her neck, she giggled. When I rubbed her skin,
- 57:57Speaker 12: she giggled. Every new position she giggled. I thought I
- 58:01Speaker 12: was showing out, but every few seconds she giggled. I
- 58:06Speaker 12: looked down at her. She had tears in her eyes
- 58:08Speaker 12: from all the laughing. I asked her what was so
- 58:12Speaker 12: darned funny, and she said she can tell I have
- 58:15Speaker 12: been married a long time. I was offended, but I
- 58:18Speaker 12: played it off and I let her take control. I
- 58:22Speaker 12: wasn't expecting what came next, and she had me holding
- 58:25Speaker 12: on for dear life.
- 58:27Speaker 10: I got caught up in.
- 58:28Speaker 12: Her long legs and couldn't breathe at one point. Since
- 58:32Speaker 12: that night, she's been teasing me about wanting more. I
- 58:36Speaker 12: don't have the confidence to do it again. Am I
- 58:39Speaker 12: out of my league here? Or should I keep trying?
- 58:42Speaker 12: M Okay, let me get this straight. Let me just
- 58:46Speaker 12: get this straight. For a second, you were asking, you
- 58:51Speaker 12: are asking Steve and I to help you be a
- 58:55Speaker 12: better lover for your side piece. Okay, I mean, is
- 59:00Speaker 12: it over between you and your wife? I guess according
- 59:04Speaker 12: to you, it is, But you guys did try to
- 59:06Speaker 12: make it. You didn't try to make it work anymore
- 59:09Speaker 12: after this, right because your wife practically gave you away
- 59:12Speaker 12: when she said she didn't want you anymore and for
- 59:15Speaker 12: you to do whatever you needed to do on the
- 59:16Speaker 12: side that was like a permanent hall pass. I'm sure
- 59:20Speaker 12: that hurt, like you said it did, and it's been
- 59:22Speaker 12: two years. So what I don't get is why you
- 59:26Speaker 12: guys didn't just get a divorce. I mean, do you
- 59:29Speaker 12: still do things together? You just don't have sex. It
- 59:31Speaker 12: sounds pretty complicated. You're legally married but living single, and
- 59:35Speaker 12: this sounds like it's working for you. I mean, you
- 59:37Speaker 12: must have some sort of understanding or arrangement going on here,
- 59:41Speaker 12: and your girlfriend must too.
- 59:44Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 59:44Speaker 12: Anyway, fast forward to the side piece. You may not
- 59:48Speaker 12: have a confidence to do it again, but she sure
- 59:51Speaker 12: wants you to do it again. She wants you to
- 59:53Speaker 12: do it again with her, so that should get your
- 59:57Speaker 12: self esteem your confidence up a bit, right, she crush
- 1:00:00Speaker 12: your ego with all the giggles and everything, but she
- 1:00:03Speaker 12: didn't stop. She didn't leave you, she didn't make fun
- 1:00:05Speaker 12: of you. She didn't even tell you to go back
- 1:00:07Speaker 12: to your wife. So she's obvious. She obviously likes something
- 1:00:10Speaker 12: about you, and maybe she can teach you a few things.
- 1:00:13Speaker 12: So now the balls in your court?
- 1:00:15Speaker 10: What are you gonna do? Steve Woo.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Girl?
- 1:00:22Speaker 9: This letter here? What is something funny? Well, I'm the
- 1:00:27Speaker 9: man for this letter right here. Nice try Shirley, good
- 1:00:30Speaker 9: Christian answers. He ain't what this letter is about. This
- 1:00:33Speaker 9: ain't about no can you image workout? Could y'all talk
- 1:00:37Speaker 9: it through? Do y'all still do things together? That is
- 1:00:43Speaker 9: not what this is about at all. I have found
- 1:00:47Speaker 9: the secret in this letter. The subject is what is
- 1:00:50Speaker 9: so funny? That's what this letter about. The hell you
- 1:00:54Speaker 9: laughing at? That's what the letter is about. I'm in
- 1:00:57Speaker 9: here with all, I'm giving it all I get. The
- 1:01:00Speaker 9: hell is so funny. So now let's talk about this
- 1:01:06Speaker 9: because here what happened? This man been married for eighteen years,
- 1:01:09Speaker 9: you dating this younger girl on the side, you know,
- 1:01:12Speaker 9: and he's gonna talk to try to. I know you
- 1:01:15Speaker 9: know what you're thinking. But my wife stopped having sex
- 1:01:17Speaker 9: with me three years ago. She got smart than the argument,
- 1:01:21Speaker 9: told me I could do whatever I need to do
- 1:01:22Speaker 9: on the side because she ain't want me no more. Okay,
- 1:01:29Speaker 9: now I'm gonna show you something. It hurt like hell,
- 1:01:32Speaker 9: but I move on and I met somebody knew my
- 1:01:36Speaker 9: side chick is married. Now this is critical information now,
- 1:01:40Speaker 9: but she and her husband have been living apart for
- 1:01:42Speaker 9: four years. So now let's do the math.
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: Here.
- 1:01:46Speaker 9: Here's a man been married eighteen years. His wife told
- 1:01:48Speaker 9: him two years ago she ain't want to have SEXU
- 1:01:50Speaker 9: with y. No, he told him to get something on
- 1:01:51Speaker 9: the side, go do what he.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Want to do.
- 1:01:53Speaker 9: He meets a side chick that what that is married,
- 1:01:56Speaker 9: but has been living apart from her man for years.
- 1:02:02Speaker 9: I'm fifty five, my girlfriend thirty five. She tall and
- 1:02:05Speaker 9: thick with the tiny waist. Love at first sight.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: I wanted nothing more to make her mind.
- 1:02:08Speaker 9: She ain't rushing in sex because I hadn't been seeing
- 1:02:11Speaker 9: a woman since I met my wife twenty two years ago.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Another key piece of information. Here we go.
- 1:02:17Speaker 9: When we finally had sex recently, I admitted I was nervous.
- 1:02:21Speaker 9: When we finally had sex, I was nervous. She thought
- 1:02:24Speaker 9: it was sweet, and she said jokely, she'd take good.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: Call me.
- 1:02:28Speaker 9: That's a warning. That wasn't Actually, that was a warning.
- 1:02:34Speaker 9: When I kissed her neck, she giggled. When I rubbed
- 1:02:37Speaker 9: her skin, she giggled. Every new position she giggled. I
- 1:02:42Speaker 9: thought I was showing out, but every few seconds she giggled.
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: I looked down at her.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: She had tears in her eyes from all in laughing.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: I asked her, what was so funny?
- 1:02:56Speaker 10: Hold on thought, Hold that thought, Steve.
- 1:03:00Speaker 12: I we'll have part two of your response coming up
- 1:03:02Speaker 12: in twenty three minutes after the hour. You're gonna find
- 1:03:06Speaker 12: out what's so darn funny when we come back.
- 1:03:10Speaker 10: Right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:03:18Speaker 8: Nothing's worse than pets bouncing on and off your bed
- 1:03:21Speaker 8: on cold nights, waking you up every time. Mattress Firms
- 1:03:25Speaker 8: sleep experts can match you with a bed like a
- 1:03:28Speaker 8: temper pedic with a unique material that absorbs motion for
- 1:03:32Speaker 8: undisturbed rest.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Shop Mattress Firms once.
- 1:03:35Speaker 8: A year's sale and clearance and save up to five
- 1:03:38Speaker 8: hundred dollars on select temperpeding mattresses with next day.

- 1:03:46Speaker 13: and subject to location.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: CE store for details.
- 1:03:48Speaker 12: All right, come on, Steve, Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:51Speaker 12: The subject is what's so darn funny?
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: Now?
- 1:03:55Speaker 9: I've never taken this long down in the letter. I'm
- 1:03:57Speaker 9: three fourths through with the leavel before I have made
- 1:04:00Speaker 9: a point. But let me just do a recap so
- 1:04:03Speaker 9: you can understand this. Fifty five year old man's dating
- 1:04:07Speaker 9: a thirty three year old chick on the side from
- 1:04:10Speaker 9: his wife, who he's been married to eighteen years, but
- 1:04:12Speaker 9: for the past two years they haven't had sex.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: She told him go do what he wants. She don't
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: want him anymore.
- 1:04:19Speaker 9: The side chick has been slipping separate from her husband,
- 1:04:24Speaker 9: separated for four years. He met her, long legs, small waist,
- 1:04:30Speaker 9: pretty face, fell in love at first sight, wanted her,
- 1:04:34Speaker 9: but he hadn't had sex with another woman in eighteen
- 1:04:38Speaker 9: twenty two years.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: She said, it's okay, I take care of you.
- 1:04:43Speaker 9: I considered at a warning, but he don't know that
- 1:04:47Speaker 9: because he ain't been with nobody else in twenty two years.
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: He kissed on her Next she started laughing. He rubbed
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: her skin, she started laughing, touch her feet, laughing. Every
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: time they flipped to a new position, she laughing. He
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: looked down.
- 1:05:00Speaker 9: She got tears in her eyes from all the laughing.
- 1:05:04Speaker 9: I asked her what was so funny? And she could
- 1:05:07Speaker 9: say it, she said, I can tell you been married
- 1:05:09Speaker 9: a long time. Well, the question of the letter is
- 1:05:12Speaker 9: what is so funny? And the answer you, yo, ask
- 1:05:17Speaker 9: what she laughing at? I tell you what's so funny.
- 1:05:21Speaker 9: First of all, that's why your wife told you she
- 1:05:25Speaker 9: laughing at your little sex moves, and she laughing at
- 1:05:28Speaker 9: all the little stuff you trying. That's why your wife
- 1:05:30Speaker 9: told you two years ago, don't touch her no more.
- 1:05:33Speaker 9: And you can go do what you wanna do, because
- 1:05:35Speaker 9: your things frying. No bacon up in here like I
- 1:05:38Speaker 9: like mine extra crispy, and you in here serving up
- 1:05:41Speaker 9: all the wrong bacon.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: Your grease ain't even hot. So now then she'd have
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: put you out.
- 1:05:46Speaker 9: Now you gotta look at who you're dating, this woman
- 1:05:48Speaker 9: that don't put this thing on you, And you don't
- 1:05:50Speaker 9: know what to do now, you said in the letter,
- 1:05:54Speaker 9: I was offended and played it off, and I let
- 1:05:56Speaker 9: her take control. I wasn't expecting what came next, and
- 1:06:00Speaker 9: me holding on for dear life. I got caught up
- 1:06:02Speaker 9: in her long legs and couldn't breathe at one point.
- 1:06:05Speaker 9: Now won't know what happened right there. That's why she
- 1:06:08Speaker 9: been separated for four years, because she too much. You'd
- 1:06:12Speaker 9: too much for one man, but not enough for two.
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: That's a beer with her song. She in her bone,
- 1:06:20Speaker 9: crushing me, walking them up.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Break it off. You getting stuff happening to you you
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: ain't never had before. You scared you in that scared
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: she and that too much she over experienced.
- 1:06:36Speaker 9: That's why her husband that left her for four years.
- 1:06:39Speaker 9: He's somewhere trying to pull hisself together. Your wife don't
- 1:06:42Speaker 9: want you because you don't know what you're doing. You
- 1:06:46Speaker 9: fifty five. I don't know what made you think you
- 1:06:48Speaker 9: could do this, thirty five year old girl. Your wife
- 1:06:50Speaker 9: didn't want it no more. She don't want it now.
- 1:06:52Speaker 9: This is what this letter is about.
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: Dog.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: So now listen to me. You said.
- 1:06:58Speaker 9: Since that night, she's been to me about wanting more.
- 1:07:01Speaker 9: I don't have the confidence to do it again. And
- 1:07:04Speaker 9: I'm am I out of my lead here? Or should
- 1:07:07Speaker 9: I keep trying. No, brother, way out your lead you
- 1:07:12Speaker 9: the bit off molding. You can shoot and you can't
- 1:07:15Speaker 9: shoot baby girl because baby girl is a man either.
- 1:07:20Speaker 9: She's a man eater. Yeah see, they wrote songs about
- 1:07:24Speaker 9: everything back then. You did in love with a man eater.
- 1:07:28Speaker 9: And you ain't got nothing to eat cause your is inadequate.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: You sitting you can't?
- 1:07:35Speaker 9: Are you all that old baby kissing on the neck?
- 1:07:37Speaker 9: She don't want that rub in her skin? Her uh
- 1:07:41Speaker 9: flip over and watch this. You let her take control.
- 1:07:45Speaker 9: She locked your mucky up. You didn't know what the hell.
- 1:07:51Speaker 9: I can't read what you're doing me.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: This is too much. Let it go, stop letting her go,
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: let me go. Shut your Yeah, now, listen to me.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: This is not gonna work out for you. Dog. You
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: need to stop this right now. Now. What you're gonna
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: have to do is you're gonna have to do some practicing.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: But you're fifty five.
- 1:08:13Speaker 9: You ain't got any tank what you have, so now
- 1:08:15Speaker 9: you gotta do selective practicing. That's something I read a
- 1:08:19Speaker 9: long time ago that a man has a certain amount
- 1:08:23Speaker 9: of pleasure explosions, let's call it, uh huh in his
- 1:08:30Speaker 9: lifetime at fifty five, you are on the cusp of
- 1:08:36Speaker 9: running a little low on the number you got left,
- 1:08:44Speaker 9: so you need to be most selective. The man eater
- 1:08:50Speaker 9: is gonna snatch yours from you, and you ain't gonna
- 1:08:53Speaker 9: have none left you already.
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: Sorry, the two women you've been with laughing.
- 1:09:02Speaker 9: Your wife then told you to get somebody on the
- 1:09:05Speaker 9: side because she don't even want it no more. And
- 1:09:07Speaker 9: not a man eater that ate you up one time
- 1:09:09Speaker 9: and said let's just try it again, and you ain't
- 1:09:13Speaker 9: got to comfort this.
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: What is he?
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: And what is she doing? She's doing everything, She's doing everything.
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: He ain't doing nothing right.
- 1:09:22Speaker 9: He in the corner, scared, He trimmling, shook the blanket
- 1:09:26Speaker 9: over in the corner and pulled it over his little
- 1:09:28Speaker 9: neked body, just sucking his thing.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: I don't know what to do.

- 1:09:54Speaker 9: Look at her constantly told me that my mama had
- 1:09:57Speaker 9: me at forty two. I was talking to my father
- 1:09:59Speaker 9: one time, said, day, I need to talk to you.

- 1:10:44Speaker 12: Risky fitness, all right, that's what we're calling this. Did
- 1:10:47Speaker 12: your significant other join a gym as part of their
- 1:10:51Speaker 12: New Year's resolution? Be careful because, according to sex expert
- 1:10:56Speaker 12: Jessica Leoni, the gym is a hotbed bid for affairs,
- 1:11:01Speaker 12: especially in the month of January when so many people
- 1:11:05Speaker 12: are signing up for gym memberships. Leoni said went on
- 1:11:08Speaker 12: to say research shows that testosterone can spike up for
- 1:11:12Speaker 12: up to an hour after heading to the gym. This
- 1:11:16Speaker 12: behavior can have an extraordinary effect on your sex drive,
- 1:11:19Speaker 12: and that's why Jim's are a hot bed for affairs
- 1:11:22Speaker 12: seekers this month, she says people should become suspicious if
- 1:11:26Speaker 12: their partner suddenly becomes obsessed with the gym.
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: And is spending a lot of time there.
- 1:11:32Speaker 10: Okay, so here's the question.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: So we know you guys.
- 1:11:38Speaker 9: Okay, so jed, we're gonna forget the fact that they
- 1:11:41Speaker 9: might be trying to get in shape. Yes, yeah, telling
- 1:11:47Speaker 9: you right now. By Fellas. Before she read this right here,
- 1:11:50Speaker 9: Homan wrote this article, go ahead.
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: About it.
- 1:11:55Speaker 12: So has working out had a bad effect on your
- 1:11:58Speaker 12: sex drive? Are you in a food after your workouts?
- 1:12:01Speaker 12: You know you do cold plunge, Steve Cardios, Tommy, you
- 1:12:04Speaker 12: run junior lift weights. So what's the story?
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: You guys?

- 1:12:11Speaker 3: get through Ruddy, when I.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not what I want it. So if I
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: can get it, it's the question. It's not us.
- 1:12:19Speaker 3: I start putting an appointments and now you're doing anything
- 1:12:22Speaker 3: Next Wednesday?
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: You got a boocket in Vain or anything?
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: Next wedding? Can I get thirty minutes of your time?
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: I'm not gonna I'm not gonna hold you. I done
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: worked out, I done been so as hell and still
- 1:12:32Speaker 3: tried it.
- 1:12:35Speaker 9: How to pull muscles, childie horses, toast spasms and.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: You're still in the move wanting to get busy.
- 1:12:41Speaker 9: After all that what I laid out? Yeah, oh oh,
- 1:12:45Speaker 9: I lay that foot off that bed. Let that top
- 1:12:47Speaker 9: spasm work itself out. Still there, I'll get that thing
- 1:12:51Speaker 9: off that side of that bed that it go on
- 1:12:53Speaker 9: and work itself out.
- 1:12:54Speaker 10: What about a cold plunge, cause you're just you know,
- 1:12:57Speaker 10: you're always so cold.
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: Cold plunge is not good to discuss when it comes out.
- 1:13:03Speaker 10: They don't go together when you.
- 1:13:05Speaker 9: First get out that cold plood. You're not very attractive
- 1:13:08Speaker 9: to you. You need to turn the heat off.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: Mary show Man, I can't get no stupid than it is.
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: I helm the stupidest person anywhere.
- 1:13:21Speaker 10: Yes, oh yes, everything you just said is true.
- 1:13:24Speaker 9: Wow.
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: I mean when when I walk in the room, do
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: you feel my stupid I just told my sister you
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: were stupid. Hey, hey, I did wait years ago. I
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: got a whooping for it. My mama. Don't think I'm stupid. Man,
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: I'm not hurt. Thank you, the whole family. Thank you.
- 1:13:56Speaker 12: Coming up right after you're listening to the Steve Harvey
- 1:14:00Speaker 12: Morning Show. All right, Steve, this letter, this question is
- 1:14:08Speaker 12: from Kirk on Facebook. Kirk writes, my roommate and I
- 1:14:12Speaker 12: have been friends since we were kids, but I try
- 1:14:14Speaker 12: to keep out of his personal life. For almost a year,
- 1:14:17Speaker 12: he's been seeing a married woman and I haven't said
- 1:14:19Speaker 12: a thing. But last week her husband showed up at
- 1:14:23Speaker 12: our house. At first he thought I was my roommate,
- 1:14:26Speaker 12: but I managed to get him to calm down and
- 1:14:28Speaker 12: not knock me out. I said I said something to
- 1:14:32Speaker 12: my roommate, but he was not worried at all and
- 1:14:35Speaker 12: was unfazed by the news. He says the husband and
- 1:14:37Speaker 12: wife have stuff to work out and is not his concern.
- 1:14:41Speaker 12: But come on, dog, as far as I can tell,
- 1:14:43Speaker 12: it's fifty percent his fault. The whole thing has me
- 1:14:46Speaker 12: thinking about moving out.
- 1:14:47Speaker 10: Am I wrong? Uncle Steve? How would you handle this?
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: Well?
- 1:14:52Speaker 9: I mean, look, man, you consider a pitch talk about
- 1:14:54Speaker 9: it ain't none of your concern. But once you mess
- 1:14:57Speaker 9: with a man's wife, Bible speaks about that when he
- 1:15:02Speaker 9: find out there's an anger level that he coming with
- 1:15:05Speaker 9: that we ain't really got nothing for I don't know
- 1:15:08Speaker 9: what to tell you.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: Man.
- 1:15:10Speaker 9: That's a dangerous thing that a man that came by
- 1:15:12Speaker 9: your house. And the reason the man comes by your
- 1:15:17Speaker 9: house is not cause his wife is cheap. But of
- 1:15:21Speaker 9: all the women in the world that ain't gotten nobody,
- 1:15:25Speaker 9: you done decided to disrespect me and come over here
- 1:15:29Speaker 9: and get mine. I know she ain't worth nothing to
- 1:15:32Speaker 9: me right now, but the fact that you think I'm
- 1:15:36Speaker 9: the little punk dude that you can step on, I
- 1:15:38Speaker 9: come to let you know who I am.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: See, that's what that is right there. He already know
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: his wife that violated the vows. He got that.
- 1:15:48Speaker 9: But this dude thought, oh, so you gonna come get
- 1:15:52Speaker 9: mine like you gonna just disregard me and my position
- 1:15:55Speaker 9: as a man and a husband. That's why I'm whooping yours.
- 1:15:59Speaker 9: That's what that all about. You should have said something
- 1:16:02Speaker 9: to him. But your friend is he gonna he gonna
- 1:16:05Speaker 9: set hisself up, man, because this man gonna do something
- 1:16:07Speaker 9: to it if he get to him. He didn't come
- 1:16:10Speaker 9: over there to talk. But dude, the room may move
- 1:16:13Speaker 9: out or stay with it. Well, y'alloll got it from
- 1:16:17Speaker 9: here because I'm gonna get away from here because this
- 1:16:20Speaker 9: don't go down. He'd have been over that one time.
- 1:16:23Speaker 9: He's still mad, and you don't know what could trigger
- 1:16:26Speaker 9: this dude. This dude come over here and shoot the
- 1:16:28Speaker 9: whole place up.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: I'm gonna myself.
- 1:16:30Speaker 9: I gonna get out because if that's how your dude
- 1:16:33Speaker 9: is acting, and then you bring it up to him,
- 1:16:35Speaker 9: they got some things that ain't none of my concern.
- 1:16:38Speaker 1: Hold up, bro, he messed with the man's wife, right, yeah, brouh.
- 1:16:44Speaker 9: You don't understand where this dude that he didn't invest
- 1:16:47Speaker 9: it in this marriage. He'd got credit probably then bought property,
- 1:16:53Speaker 9: house or some card notes. Now you're over here, okay,
- 1:16:57Speaker 9: all these women over here that ain't got nobody. Yeah,
- 1:17:01Speaker 9: you're gonna come over here with going Now, I got
- 1:17:02Speaker 9: you a trip, and it's fifty percent of this is
- 1:17:05Speaker 9: her fault.
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: I got that, but I mean I can't. I can't.
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: I can't hit her. But I'm fitting to whoop your
- 1:17:13Speaker 1: and what's all this? All this unphased? I'm unfazed.
- 1:17:17Speaker 9: Okay, Yeah, Hey, the man that came by your house,
- 1:17:26Speaker 9: I don't know. I don't know what you think happened
- 1:17:28Speaker 9: in here. He'd have been by the house.
- 1:17:30Speaker 10: Now, Yeah, I'm warning Okay, it's all I'm saying.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: You have been warned. Yeah, all right, ain't it ain't
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: nothing like it outside your own house. That's bad. That's us.
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: Everybody know you over there. It ain't like you get
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: to leave. All the neighbors know who stayed there.
- 1:17:54Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Man, somebody came over to Harold and Jamie's house, had.
- 1:18:03Speaker 11: Harold and Jamie.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: I look over, man, man, Jamie just backed at the driveway,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: never looked back. And what's the roommate's name?

- 1:20:01Speaker 10: Are they considered gumbo?
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Well, the chili, it's just gonna be a little rough
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: on you, you know. Yeah.
- 1:20:09Speaker 14: Well, as long as you ain't on a plane, you

- 1:22:11Speaker 9: I was trying to shut off all ventilation. I was
- 1:22:14Speaker 9: sitting back there, man, I ain't have on nothing but
- 1:22:16Speaker 9: my drawers. I took all my clothes and packed it
- 1:22:20Speaker 9: in cracks, just trying to stop this. What is it
- 1:22:23Speaker 9: doing up there?
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: All right?
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: Would you rather?
- 1:22:27Speaker 12: Would you rather curse really loud when you see a
- 1:22:30Speaker 12: beautiful woman? Or would you rather cry softly when you

- 1:22:35Speaker 1: Which both on sight?
- 1:22:39Speaker 9: Yeah?

- 1:23:09Speaker 15: Man?
- 1:23:09Speaker 9: You ever read a real fine cheek and walked up

- 1:24:27Speaker 12: And my New Year's resolutions are the same as they
- 1:24:30Speaker 12: have been for these last few years.
- 1:24:32Speaker 10: Just don't make any because I never keep them. Happy
- 1:24:35Speaker 10: New Year. From the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 1:24:38Speaker 10: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:24:44Speaker 8: Nothing's worse than Pet's bouncing on and off your bed
- 1:24:47Speaker 8: on cold nights, waking you up every time. Mattress firms
- 1:24:51Speaker 8: sleep experts can match you with a bed like a
- 1:24:54Speaker 8: temper pedic with a unique material that absorbs motion for
- 1:24:58Speaker 8: undisturbed rest Shop mattress firms once a year's sale and
- 1:25:02Speaker 8: clearance and save up to five hundred dollars on select
- 1:25:05Speaker 8: temp repeding mattresses with next day delivery.
- 1:25:08Speaker 13: Restrictions apply. Next day delivery available on select mattresses and
- 1:25:11Speaker 13: subject to location. See store for details.
- 1:25:14Speaker 12: All right, guys, here we are our last break of
- 1:25:16Speaker 12: the day and time now for some closing remarks from
- 1:25:20Speaker 12: the one and only Steve Harvey.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: Well, you know, don't I don't really.
- 1:25:25Speaker 9: I've been thinking about a lot of things, you know,
- 1:25:28Speaker 9: and I was thinking just on a positive tip, you know,
- 1:25:33Speaker 9: to just kind of just always encourage people to stay
- 1:25:38Speaker 9: with it.
- 1:25:38Speaker 4: You know.
- 1:25:38Speaker 9: Oftentimes, you know, when you you know, when you have
- 1:25:42Speaker 9: dreams and aspirations, all of us, from time to time
- 1:25:45Speaker 9: they get sidelined. All of our dreams and aspiration takes
- 1:25:51Speaker 9: a hit along the way to attaining them.
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: And there's always a detour on the way.
- 1:25:57Speaker 9: There's always some confusion, a set of barrels set up.
- 1:26:01Speaker 9: It's just really hard to see a vision from start
- 1:26:06Speaker 9: to finish, scott free with no troubles So if you're
- 1:26:10Speaker 9: in that position today and you're finding yourself waning in
- 1:26:15Speaker 9: your dreams and visions, it seems like it's just not
- 1:26:18Speaker 9: happening the way you want it. I want you to
- 1:26:21Speaker 9: understand it's not going to happen just the way you
- 1:26:25Speaker 9: want it. That is the way it works. And I
- 1:26:29Speaker 9: know that's not great news, but it's the truth. Nobody
- 1:26:34Speaker 9: gets where they want to be in life just the
- 1:26:38Speaker 9: way they want it. So if you're thinking that you're
- 1:26:40Speaker 9: going to get there scott free, that you will just
- 1:26:43Speaker 9: have a smooth sailing, that's not the way it works.
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: Life isn't designed that way. So factor in the fact
- 1:26:53Speaker 1: that you are going to have troubles and difficulties along
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: the way.
- 1:26:57Speaker 9: And if you stop your visions or dreams because of
- 1:27:01Speaker 9: that reason, right there, the rule is simple.
- 1:27:06Speaker 1: Here's the rule.
- 1:27:08Speaker 9: You can start again today. You can just start again
- 1:27:13Speaker 9: today and guess what. You don't need anybody's permission. All
- 1:27:20Speaker 9: you have to do is rewrite your dreams down on
- 1:27:22Speaker 9: your vision board, reclaim victory, ask God for your help
- 1:27:30Speaker 9: and your strength, and get back to making your dreams
- 1:27:34Speaker 9: and visions come true for your life. You all listen
- 1:27:37Speaker 9: to me, stop waking up just going about the day
- 1:27:43Speaker 9: seeing how it's going, without any projects, without any visions,
- 1:27:49Speaker 9: without any aspirations, without a plan to attain the things
- 1:27:54Speaker 9: that you really want in life. Stop waking up like
- 1:27:59Speaker 9: that with no to do. Make a plan at night,
- 1:28:03Speaker 9: pray about it, ask God for help. You know, now,
- 1:28:06Speaker 9: look when you rake, when you make your plan, that's
- 1:28:10Speaker 9: just the request you're asking God to help you come true.
- 1:28:13Speaker 9: Matter how you get there is going to be difficult.
- 1:28:17Speaker 9: It's going to be difficult. But once you started, there
- 1:28:23Speaker 9: is no one who says you can. So y'all just
- 1:28:27Speaker 9: get back in the pocket, get back up on the horse,
- 1:28:30Speaker 9: get back to dreaming again, get back to wanting to
- 1:28:34Speaker 9: hoping to believe in again. Don't let the setbacks and
- 1:28:39Speaker 9: the troubles of life stop you, because I got.
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: News for you. You're gonna always have them. You're going
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: to always have them.
- 1:28:48Speaker 9: And like today, man, God, I just went back through
- 1:28:50Speaker 9: my phone because what I do is when I see
- 1:28:53Speaker 9: motivational phrases or scriptures that really register with me, I
- 1:28:58Speaker 9: take my phone out and I take the picture of it,
- 1:29:00Speaker 9: and then I've created this album in my photo section
- 1:29:03Speaker 9: called motivation, and I file all those.
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: Pictures in my motivational thing.
- 1:29:09Speaker 9: And when I find myself wavering, feeling a little uncertain,
- 1:29:14Speaker 9: feeling a little shaky about decisions, I go back to
- 1:29:18Speaker 9: my motivational folder in my photos and I just started
- 1:29:22Speaker 9: reading the little quotes I got in there. I just
- 1:29:24Speaker 9: start going down the line. I've got some stuff in there, man,
- 1:29:27Speaker 9: that I've had in there for years. Man, But I
- 1:29:31Speaker 9: can still read from time to time, you know, like
- 1:29:36Speaker 9: for example, I was today I read this one. It says,
- 1:29:39Speaker 9: I can't cry about having a lot on my plate
- 1:29:42Speaker 9: when my whole goal was to eat. I can't cry.
- 1:29:50Speaker 1: About having a whole lot on my plate when my
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: whole goal was to eat. And man, I find myself
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: doing that talking about Lord a bird. Man, I'm tired.
- 1:30:01Speaker 7: You know.
- 1:30:02Speaker 9: I got all this, I got all that. Hey, Steve,
- 1:30:04Speaker 9: did you hear yourself? You got all this, and you
- 1:30:07Speaker 9: got all that.
- 1:30:10Speaker 1: What you're tripping for?
- 1:30:11Speaker 9: And I gathered myself, you know, And then you know,
- 1:30:16Speaker 9: you know, I have a lot of stuff in there.
- 1:30:17Speaker 9: Like one of them I read today was, Oh my bad,
- 1:30:20Speaker 9: I'm sorry for bothering you.
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: I forgot. I only exist when you need me for
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: something that's God tell you Oh my bad. I'm sorry
- 1:30:32Speaker 1: for bothering you. I forgot.
- 1:30:34Speaker 9: I only exist when you need me for something. I
- 1:30:36Speaker 9: have all these little things, man, that always motivate me.
- 1:30:42Speaker 9: Here's another one. Winners are not people who never fail,
- 1:30:46Speaker 9: but people who never quit.
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: Amen.
- 1:30:49Speaker 9: Yeah, failure is a failure is a part of the process.
- 1:30:54Speaker 9: Here's another one. I have not failed. I've just found
- 1:30:59Speaker 9: ten thousand ways that don't work. Thomas Edison.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: Wow, I have not failed. I just found ten thousand
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: ways that don't work. Do you see?
- 1:31:14Speaker 9: Success isn't how far you got, but the distance you
- 1:31:19Speaker 9: travel from where you started. That's a proverb. And I
- 1:31:25Speaker 9: just keep stuff like that, and you know, all always.
- 1:31:30Speaker 9: And last one I read this morning was I want
- 1:31:32Speaker 9: to inspire people. I want someone to look at me
- 1:31:35Speaker 9: and say, because of you, I didn't give up. That's
- 1:31:39Speaker 9: always been important.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: So y'all stay.
- 1:31:43Speaker 9: Motivated, stay the course, find a way to self motivate
- 1:31:47Speaker 9: yourself when you down, and get back.
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: To dreaming and believe it for all.
