- 1:59Speaker 1: baby now, h h I shall will come morning. Everybody
- 2:05Speaker 1: you're listening to the voice, come on dig me now.
- 2:08Speaker 1: One and only Steve Harvey got a radio show man,
- 2:12Speaker 1: o man o man. How many times I got to
- 2:15Speaker 1: say that before I get tired of it. I think
- 2:20Speaker 1: it's gonna be a minute, folks. I gotta be real
- 2:22Speaker 1: with you, because, boy, that Steve Harvey got a radio
- 2:25Speaker 1: show man, clear indication of how God can do some unexpected,
- 2:32Speaker 1: wonderful things for you, How he leads your life in
- 2:36Speaker 1: directions that you never ever saw coming. You know. I
- 2:39Speaker 1: was talking with somebody the other day and they were
- 2:42Speaker 1: talking about how man, they were young and they were
- 2:45Speaker 1: doing things, and they never knew that the things that
- 2:47Speaker 1: they were doing as a youngster would come and helped
- 2:53Speaker 1: form who they were today as an adult. This guy's
- 2:56Speaker 1: fifty years old and you know, the same thing for you,
- 3:00Speaker 1: if you look back on your life and all of
- 3:03Speaker 1: the things that you've done, it helps shape you into
- 3:06Speaker 1: who you are now. This is provided now that you
- 3:11Speaker 1: take the positive approach. Now, when I say look back
- 3:14Speaker 1: at your life and see what you've done, that doesn't
- 3:17Speaker 1: mean dwell on the misfortunate moments, because the misfortunate moments
- 3:21Speaker 1: were necessary. I know it. It's hard to see that
- 3:24Speaker 1: when it's happening to you, but the unfortunate moments are necessary.
- 3:29Speaker 1: You know, what really makes you appreciate summer vacation is
- 3:34Speaker 1: winter work. What really makes you appreciate a walk on
- 3:38Speaker 1: the beach, it's when it's cold, is raining outside. What
- 3:41Speaker 1: really makes you appreciate when you're up, it's because you've
- 3:46Speaker 1: been down. See if you are up all the time.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Just the nature of us as human beings, we would
- 3:53Speaker 1: lose our appreciation for because it becomes case aah, whatever
- 3:58Speaker 1: it is, Well, it is what it is. I'm just
- 4:00Speaker 1: what what what you take it for? Granted, it becomes expected.
- 4:04Speaker 1: But what happens in life, say, is it has so
- 4:06Speaker 1: many twisting turns, and then you learn how to deal
- 4:10Speaker 1: with those twisting turns, which makes you now a more
- 4:12Speaker 1: experienced person. And then when the sunny days come, man,
- 4:16Speaker 1: you go wild. It's really nice outside. You really want
- 4:19Speaker 1: to appreciate how warm weather. Just stay in a bunch
- 4:22Speaker 1: of cold weather all the time. I'm you know what
- 4:24Speaker 1: I'm saying. I'm just this is really really simple and
- 4:26Speaker 1: now analogies, but it helps you along the way. Now
- 4:30Speaker 1: here's what I came to say today to everybody out there.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And this has helped me in my life. I can't
- 4:37Speaker 1: tell you what it's done for me, but a lot
- 4:41Speaker 1: of people are struggling with moving forward with their future,
- 4:46Speaker 1: their future plans, their future goals, their future aspirations, their
- 4:52Speaker 1: future hopes, their future dreams, just simply your future wants
- 4:58Speaker 1: a lot of people trying to having a hard time
- 5:01Speaker 1: mapping out their future. Even what I'm gonna do, what
- 5:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna be, what I'm gonna make harm or go
- 5:08Speaker 1: about it? What do I do next? I want to
- 5:11Speaker 1: share something with you that I had to come to
- 5:13Speaker 1: terms with the quickest way to lose focus on your
- 5:18Speaker 1: future is to keep focusing on your past. You know,
- 5:22Speaker 1: It's like I said at the beginning. You know when
- 5:24Speaker 1: I say it's wonderful to look at your life and
- 5:27Speaker 1: review it, because if you look at it, it'll tell
- 5:30Speaker 1: you it really helps shape inform you today as the
- 5:34Speaker 1: person you are now if you look at it in
- 5:38Speaker 1: a positive sense. But if you dwell in harp on
- 5:41Speaker 1: the negative that's happened to you, then that keeps you
- 5:45Speaker 1: from seeing the good in the incident, every bad thing
- 5:48Speaker 1: that's happened to you, that was a silver lining behind it.
- 5:51Speaker 1: I know people who were on drugs who finally, man
- 5:55Speaker 1: just got sent to prison for stealing because of a habit.
- 5:59Speaker 1: I know cats old dope. Well, he went to prison.
- 6:02Speaker 1: He told me one time. He said, Steve, it's a man.
- 6:05Speaker 1: This is the best thing ever happened to me to
- 6:07Speaker 1: save my life. Now, most people would think, how in
- 6:10Speaker 1: the world is going to prison helpful for you? The
- 6:14Speaker 1: brother said, it saved my life. First of all, it
- 6:18Speaker 1: got me clean. He said, I've been cleaned for five
- 6:21Speaker 1: years from sitting in him. That's for starters, Uncleaned, I
- 6:25Speaker 1: ain't still in no more. I ain't putting myself in
- 6:28Speaker 1: jeopard and I ain't jeopardizing nobody else, he said. Now, man,
- 6:32Speaker 1: I don't went to college. I didn't got a college
- 6:34Speaker 1: degree while I met him. Then he was released from prison,
- 6:38Speaker 1: and the brother's life was completely turned around. He married,
- 6:42Speaker 1: he got a family, he got a great job. He'd
- 6:45Speaker 1: go to work every day. He's a productive citizen. I mean.
- 6:49Speaker 1: So he looks back on his incarceration, even his drug abuse,
- 6:55Speaker 1: and it taught him how to appreciate the things in
- 6:58Speaker 1: life that he had taken for granted and was missing
- 7:01Speaker 1: because he said, man, my life was just in a blur.
- 7:04Speaker 1: I didn't even know what was going on. He said,
- 7:07Speaker 1: Now I appreciate every day I wake up. That's what
- 7:09Speaker 1: I mean. Even in your missteps in life, there is
- 7:14Speaker 1: a purpose for the missteps. Every time you fail, there
- 7:17Speaker 1: was a reason for the failure. See what I had
- 7:21Speaker 1: to do was I had to learn that all of
- 7:23Speaker 1: my failures taught me how to get back up. So
- 7:27Speaker 1: I became a very strong and tough person in getting
- 7:30Speaker 1: back up. And then I was down and out so
- 7:33Speaker 1: long that it taught me how to really appreciate the up.
- 7:37Speaker 1: And so I've taken all of that and used it
- 7:41Speaker 1: those experiences that happened to me, and I became a
- 7:44Speaker 1: more experienced person. So next time when people talk about
- 7:48Speaker 1: me who don't know me, it don't shake me because
- 7:52Speaker 1: everybody not gonna like you. Man, you might as well
- 7:54Speaker 1: gonna get on this train right now. And so what
- 7:57Speaker 1: I'm saying to you out there is the quickest way
- 8:00Speaker 1: to lose focus on your future is to keep focusing
- 8:03Speaker 1: on your path. Let it go. Yeah yeah, yeah, he left.
- 8:07Speaker 1: But like I told us lady on my TV show
- 8:09Speaker 1: the other day, sometimes the breakup is the blessing. I
- 8:13Speaker 1: know it's hard to break up because now you're loaning
- 8:15Speaker 1: you by yourself. But man, but when you're in misery,
- 8:17Speaker 1: when you was in that, weren't you in complete misery
- 8:22Speaker 1: in that? Now you kept asking God to fix it.
- 8:25Speaker 1: But it takes two people to fix a relationship. It
- 8:27Speaker 1: don't just take one. It takes two to make a
- 8:31Speaker 1: thing go right. It takes two to make it out
- 8:34Speaker 1: of sight. You really do have to have two people
- 8:37Speaker 1: wanting a relationship to work. It can't just be one
- 8:40Speaker 1: person want a relationship, so you can pray about the
- 8:43Speaker 1: relationship all you want. If the other person don't want
- 8:46Speaker 1: you no more and ain't gonna act right, you can't
- 8:48Speaker 1: make him do that or you can't make her do that.
- 8:52Speaker 1: But you steady asking God for a new relationship. But
- 8:57Speaker 1: you are yet to be grateful that you are in
- 9:00Speaker 1: a position to have a relationship. And you keep harping
- 9:03Speaker 1: on the past. You don't think he hear that. I'm
- 9:06Speaker 1: just a dude with a show and I hear it
- 9:08Speaker 1: all the time. Let it go, go forward. It's over.
- 9:12Speaker 1: You made it, He bought you through it. You survived it.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Why are you dwelling on it and making it the
- 9:20Speaker 1: cross around your neck when clearly he had removed it
- 9:24Speaker 1: for you. Now all you got to do is come on.
- 9:27Speaker 1: So if you're sitting behind him walls, brothers and sisters,
- 9:30Speaker 1: I'm talking directly to you sometimes. Man, you just got
- 9:34Speaker 1: to get it right. All this repeat offender business, that's for?
- 9:37Speaker 1: Who is that for? How ignorant can you be to
- 9:41Speaker 1: keep giving your life back to the penal system? Be free, man,
- 9:45Speaker 1: walk the streets, do the right thing. Ask God to
- 9:47Speaker 1: help connect you. He could do anything. You think he
- 9:51Speaker 1: can't give you a job? Are you serious? Man? Put
- 9:53Speaker 1: some faith on it. Let's move forward, y'all. Let it go.
- 9:56Speaker 1: Let's move ladies and gentlemen. Here we are. Another fabulous day,
- 10:06Speaker 1: another great day, another opportunity to get it right, another chance.

- 10:25Speaker 1: and enjoyed this. We're not going anywhere. This is the
- 10:29Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Enjoy it. We ain't going nowhere. Hey,

- 11:29Speaker 1: that just got off a house arrest but still can't
- 11:32Speaker 1: go nowhere. Let's dedicate this show to them. You know
- 11:34Speaker 1: what I'm saying. They need a little to one. They do, man,
- 11:38Speaker 1: they do dog. They just got off house arrest, but
- 11:41Speaker 1: still at the house. You know what, I'm saying, hey,
- 11:44Speaker 1: we understand what you was going through. We feel it. Yeah,
- 11:53Speaker 1: hello man, it's Thursday, Yeah, Thursday house We all yeah, yeah,
- 12:03Speaker 1: all these days is running together. Yeah, that's true. You
- 12:06Speaker 1: Thursday just like Saturday. You know, you know, well, but
- 12:11Speaker 1: here's how you know your life ain't really doing nothing
- 12:14Speaker 1: when Thursday feel just like said yeah, yeah right, you're
- 12:23Speaker 1: right man, because I used to like look forward to
- 12:26Speaker 1: Friday and be like, yeah, yes, Friday to get here,
- 12:30Speaker 1: okay na nas here? So what what it's going by? Fast?
- 12:36Speaker 1: To me? I know what the stay at home orders.
- 12:39Speaker 1: It's like the three days yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Talking
- 12:43Speaker 1: to people, That's why that's going by. That's rough, man,
- 12:53Speaker 1: You dragging Junior who I couldn't wait to get to
- 12:57Speaker 1: work this morning. So you talk to somebody. Somebody? What
- 13:04Speaker 1: do you do at night? What's your night light? I
- 13:07Speaker 1: sit in the dark and try trying to take mama
- 13:14Speaker 1: hard to sleep. Oh okay, man, I want every school.
- 13:19Speaker 1: I know what I need doing this? What Loyd gonna
- 13:21Speaker 1: bless me with some more room? I need a house,
- 13:24Speaker 1: a man, claim it. Yeah, I'll tell you right, I
- 13:27Speaker 1: see why I'm tired of this. All right? Well, listen
- 13:31Speaker 1: to this. Coming up at thirty two minutes after the hour,
- 13:34Speaker 1: we're gonna do some Ask the CLO our Chief Love Officer,
- 13:37Speaker 1: Steve Harvey in the building. He's gonna help some people
- 13:41Speaker 1: with their relationships. Right after this. You're listening all right,
- 13:47Speaker 1: steam time now for ask the CLO the Chief Love Officer.
- 13:51Speaker 1: This one Steve is from Lena in Texas. She says,
- 13:55Speaker 1: I met a guy online last October and we've had
- 13:59Speaker 1: an often on things since then. Everything will be going
- 14:02Speaker 1: fine for a while, and then he disappears for a
- 14:05Speaker 1: few days. If I complain, he turns into an angel
- 14:09Speaker 1: for a few days. He works hard all day long,
- 14:11Speaker 1: so I try not to stress him out. But I'm
- 14:14Speaker 1: tired of the inconsistency. You said in your book, act
- 14:18Speaker 1: like a lady, think like a man, that men make
- 14:21Speaker 1: time for what they really want. Is this true in
- 14:24Speaker 1: my situation? It's true in all situations. There are no
- 14:28Speaker 1: exceptions to the rule. We are men, We make time
- 14:32Speaker 1: for what we want. Let me ask you something, ma'am.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Let's just reverse this situation. Let's just say you you
- 14:39Speaker 1: went ghosts every two weeks for a few days. How
- 14:45Speaker 1: do you think he would feel? He wouldn't ask you
- 14:47Speaker 1: about it. Where you be all this time? What you
- 14:50Speaker 1: be getting into, what you're doing? But see, we mean
- 14:53Speaker 1: we don't think right away that you got somebody else,
- 14:55Speaker 1: but you all do because it's happened probably before. So
- 15:00Speaker 1: now what does your intuition tell you? And that's how
- 15:05Speaker 1: you should act on it. Something's wrong, something's wrong, something's
- 15:11Speaker 1: something's amiss. I'm not saying what exactly is amiss, but
- 15:16Speaker 1: you can't let me ask you a question, Tommy, can
- 15:18Speaker 1: you just disappear for three four days and still live here? What? No, Junior,
- 15:28Speaker 1: can you dat a woman and disappear for three four days?
- 15:31Speaker 1: Not if I want to be in relationship? Okay, thank you.
- 15:34Speaker 1: That's that's the answer to your question. Next question, ship, Okay,
- 15:37Speaker 1: this is from Jorian and Tampa. I am a twenty
- 15:40Speaker 1: nine year old woman and I'm engaged to a wonderful man.
- 15:44Speaker 1: I'm a wonderful man, but I can't stand his meddling. Mama,
- 15:47Speaker 1: my Beyonce has three kids by three different women, and
- 15:50Speaker 1: I help out financially with the kids. I love his kids,
- 15:54Speaker 1: but I don't think we should have anymore. He agreed
- 15:57Speaker 1: at first, but then his mother told him that I'm
- 15:59Speaker 1: selfish and it's a wife's place to give give a
- 16:03Speaker 1: man a baby. Now, by fiance has brought into her
- 16:07Speaker 1: bs and keeps asking why don't I want to have
- 16:09Speaker 1: his child? We pay enough child support as it is.
- 16:13Speaker 1: How can I get him to understand my point of view? Wow? Well,
- 16:17Speaker 1: he's listening to his mama's point of view from nineteen
- 16:20Speaker 1: fifty and it really okay. I'm just trying to get
- 16:25Speaker 1: it backed up as close as I can to reality. Um,
- 16:30Speaker 1: you're talking about something that a woman's place is to
- 16:35Speaker 1: give a woman a man a baby, not if she
- 16:39Speaker 1: don't want to. It is a woman's choice in this matter.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I got your man want this and you want that,
- 16:46Speaker 1: but you all have already talked about it. Now here's
- 16:49Speaker 1: the thing. If you got a great guy and he's engaged,
- 16:53Speaker 1: but his meddling mama, you're gonna have to find a
- 16:56Speaker 1: way to play around the mother. You're gonna have to say, look,
- 16:59Speaker 1: I really really respect your opinion, but I just can't
- 17:03Speaker 1: have any more children. I mean, does she have the
- 17:06Speaker 1: children or he has no? He has the two children
- 17:08Speaker 1: by two women. Three He's got three children, three different women,
- 17:14Speaker 1: and and his Beyonce helps pay the child support. Don't
- 17:18Speaker 1: get that? Yeah, yeah, well I don't want anything. Well,
- 17:21Speaker 1: I think I think that the mother's being unreasonable because
- 17:24Speaker 1: she's not being selfish at all, because she's helping pay
- 17:28Speaker 1: for some child support that they none of her business
- 17:31Speaker 1: at all. But she accepted the man, so she's buying
- 17:35Speaker 1: in with the with the it's none of her business.
- 17:38Speaker 1: And you don't have to have a baby that you
- 17:39Speaker 1: don't want to have, and I don't recommend that you do.
- 17:42Speaker 1: And maybe this is a good thing. She can see
- 17:44Speaker 1: who he really is. A mama's boy. Yeah, oh dude,
- 17:49Speaker 1: come on, he just got real all right, here we go. Marlin.
- 17:56Speaker 1: This is from Oh this is from an I Heeart
- 17:58Speaker 1: radio Apple listener. His name is Marlin. He says, Hey, Steve,
- 18:03Speaker 1: I'm having a problem with my lady letting me be
- 18:05Speaker 1: a real man. We're both forty four years old, and
- 18:08Speaker 1: she is a great job, two cars and a nice home.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I'm owe her lawn, wash her car, fill her up
- 18:14Speaker 1: with gas, and I leave cash on the dresser for
- 18:17Speaker 1: her weekly. She gets upset when I leave the money.
- 18:22Speaker 1: The other day she yelled at me and said it
- 18:24Speaker 1: has to stop. Then she gave me a box full
- 18:27Speaker 1: of the money that I have been leaving for her.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I was blown away. She won't let me be a man,
- 18:32Speaker 1: and that's not how I was raised. She might be
- 18:35Speaker 1: too independent for me. What do you think, well, see,
- 18:38Speaker 1: listen to me. I think you have to pay attention
- 18:42Speaker 1: to what she may be saying. You don't live with her.
- 18:45Speaker 1: She's got two cars, a nice home, and a job.
- 18:49Speaker 1: You leave it money out when you leave, trying to
- 18:52Speaker 1: be a man. But could it be that you're causing
- 18:56Speaker 1: her to feel like she is a prostitute because you
- 19:00Speaker 1: come over and then you leave money, and then you
- 19:04Speaker 1: leave and just leave money on the dresser. Have you
- 19:08Speaker 1: ever thought, brother, that she could be a feeling like
- 19:11Speaker 1: I don't want you, feeling like you buying me. She
- 19:16Speaker 1: didn't ask you for that, so she didn't gave you
- 19:18Speaker 1: back a box full of money. Hold up, dog, you
- 19:21Speaker 1: can't take care of this woman no better than that.
- 19:24Speaker 1: You can't come up with a more reasonable way to
- 19:28Speaker 1: approach her. First of all, you need to understand why
- 19:31Speaker 1: she's giving you this money back, how she really feels.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Is it offensive to her what I can almost promise
- 19:37Speaker 1: you as part of the problem, or the way you
- 19:41Speaker 1: leave the money could be part of the problem, or
- 19:44Speaker 1: what you say, Hey, look I left you a little
- 19:46Speaker 1: something something the dog. You got to man. This woman
- 19:52Speaker 1: right here who got herself together, she needs some other
- 19:57Speaker 1: things from you. Now, look, man, if you want to
- 20:00Speaker 1: do something, man, put put the money in the account
- 20:03Speaker 1: and buy the woman an and give us something for
- 20:07Speaker 1: one of the kids, futures or something like that. Started
- 20:09Speaker 1: college fund for the kids. Do something that where she
- 20:12Speaker 1: can go, oh my god, don't pay her after you
- 20:16Speaker 1: leave her house. Don't leave them money on the dresser
- 20:18Speaker 1: dog's But he equates that with being a man. He says, right,
- 20:23Speaker 1: it is I understand what he said. Who leaves money
- 20:28Speaker 1: on the dressing dog? Super real man? Where she got
- 20:36Speaker 1: to put the money in the box because she don't
- 20:37Speaker 1: want to accept the money that she didn't kept the money.
- 20:40Speaker 1: She's trying to show you a point. This is not
- 20:42Speaker 1: the way I want to accept help from you. Find
- 20:45Speaker 1: another way to be a man. Being a man, ain't
- 20:47Speaker 1: leaving money out. All right? Well, coming up next, the
- 20:52Speaker 1: nephew in the building with run that break back that's
- 20:55Speaker 1: coming all right. You're listening Morning show coming up at
- 21:01Speaker 1: the top of the hour and Entertainment news, Chuck d
- 21:05Speaker 1: says the firing of Flavor flav was a hoax. Plus
- 21:08Speaker 1: Instagram and Facebook, Yeah, that's what he says. We'll talk

- 28:03Speaker 1: How do y'all? Carla Junior didn't stand up on it?
- 28:08Speaker 1: We had, We had quite a few comedians on it.
- 28:10Speaker 1: The funny thing on it is two old ass comedians,
- 28:14Speaker 1: me and Jay trying to get our technoledge to work
- 28:18Speaker 1: and we both don't know what the hell we do.
- 28:21Speaker 1: You need to see Jay camera turning upside down, can't

- 28:35Speaker 1: are you serious? Right now? I promise y'all this was
- 28:39Speaker 1: funny as all get out. It's gonna get better and
- 28:41Speaker 1: better as we keep going. We're gonna do it once
- 28:43Speaker 1: a week. It's comedians constantly sending us uploading the stand
- 28:47Speaker 1: up for two three minutes, and we're gonna be putting
- 28:49Speaker 1: it out to you out you guys, so you definitely
- 28:52Speaker 1: want to see it. It's ignorant is all get out
- 28:54Speaker 1: because the two hosts or ignorant is all get out.
- 28:56Speaker 1: We don't know what the hell are we doing? Yeah,
- 28:59Speaker 1: all right, thinking a few congratulations to you and Jay
- 29:02Speaker 1: now coming up at the top of the hour, entertainment
- 29:04Speaker 1: and national news. Right after this, you're listening to the
- 29:09Speaker 1: Steven Show in today's entertainment news. So the firing of
- 29:15Speaker 1: Flavor Flave, let me get this straight, was a prank
- 29:18Speaker 1: or it was a joke. That's according to multiple hip
- 29:23Speaker 1: hop media outlets. Chuck D has apparently been preparing for
- 29:27Speaker 1: this day for weeks now. He claims that the group's
- 29:30Speaker 1: recent breakup over a Bernie Sanders rally event was all
- 29:33Speaker 1: just an April Fools joke. It was early though for
- 29:37Speaker 1: April Fools. It was an April Fools Day prank. In March,
- 29:41Speaker 1: a cease and assist letter remember this from Flavor Flave's lawyer,
- 29:45Speaker 1: was posted the Bernie Sanders campaign was forced to make
- 29:49Speaker 1: edits to a promotional flyer for a rally, and then
- 29:52Speaker 1: Chuck and Flave started beefing on social media. Well that's
- 29:57Speaker 1: when Chuck D fired Flame, and Flay was like, we're partners,
- 30:01Speaker 1: you can't fire me anyway. Chuck said it was a
- 30:04Speaker 1: prank to promote the group's new project. However, Flavor Flame
- 30:08Speaker 1: took to Twitter yesterday and said he was not privy
- 30:11Speaker 1: to Chuck's hoax, and there are more important things going
- 30:14Speaker 1: on right now. You got fav right flavor flame. I
- 30:17Speaker 1: don't believe it was a It was a hoax now
- 30:23Speaker 1: going on right now? What you think going on? Yeah?
- 30:28Speaker 1: I did not lose any sleep over this. After I
- 30:33Speaker 1: heard it, I went right to bed, night night, whatever
- 30:40Speaker 1: lights out? Oh no, this is weird. I don't know.
- 30:45Speaker 1: I was trying to do any body hand hand. If
- 30:53Speaker 1: this is troubling you or you think it's bad, what
- 30:58Speaker 1: is what any trubbling my way? Any more entertainment story? Yeah,
- 31:05Speaker 1: as a matter of fact, we do steven other entertainment news. Instagram, Facebook,
- 31:10Speaker 1: and WhatsApp were down for a few minutes and people
- 31:12Speaker 1: were tripping. Yesterday. Outages were in North and South America
- 31:18Speaker 1: and Europe. Many people panicked went to Twitter and said,
- 31:21Speaker 1: what is wrong with Instagram? I know Instagram is not
- 31:24Speaker 1: down during the quarantine. A Facebook representative said the issues
- 31:28Speaker 1: are resolved now and it was a network era. Some
- 31:32Speaker 1: wondered if the outage was an April Fool's joke. When
- 31:34Speaker 1: you girl, I was. I lost my mind when it
- 31:37Speaker 1: went I was saying, I ain't know what I was
- 31:45Speaker 1: striding to do. I said, Instagram down. He said, Dad,
- 31:53Speaker 1: you ain't posted nothing. I said, oh, really, really don't
- 31:58Speaker 1: many that? As long as I got Netflix, I'm good.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I didn't even know it was down. It was down
- 32:05Speaker 1: for a second. It was short though. Yeah, I didn't
- 32:07Speaker 1: know either. Yeah I saw it. No, I mean on
- 32:11Speaker 1: Twitter tripping about it. Oh, okay, See, if you have WhatsApp,
- 32:17Speaker 1: you do a lot of stuff on what'sapp. You didn't
- 32:19Speaker 1: notice it on what'sapp. No, I didn't really have all
- 32:22Speaker 1: my people. It's on what'sapp is overseas. Oh so two
- 32:27Speaker 1: things you didn't care about Chuck Dan Flavor flax, that
- 32:31Speaker 1: whole firing thing was a hoax. Yeah, anything else that
- 32:37Speaker 1: I might can care about you didn't care about. I
- 32:43Speaker 1: mean those were those were pretty big. But and it's
- 32:47Speaker 1: okay that you don't care about him. You have that right.
- 32:51Speaker 1: It's so much going on, right it is it really
- 32:54Speaker 1: trying to figure out what this president is doing every
- 32:57Speaker 1: day one minute? You know, what do you care about
- 33:00Speaker 1: right now? If if they reinfect him, I just this
- 33:05Speaker 1: country dost not. I'm I'm done with politics. If they
- 33:10Speaker 1: reelect well, while we have you. Please, we're going to
- 33:17Speaker 1: switch gears and please to introduce today's headlines, Ladies and gentlemen,
- 33:22Speaker 1: Miss Anne Troup, thank you very much, everybody. An This
- 33:25Speaker 1: is and Trip puts the news well. The global number
- 33:27Speaker 1: of coronavirus infections now stands at over nine hundred and
- 33:31Speaker 1: eleven thousand. Meanwhile, looking forward, health experts are predicting that
- 33:35Speaker 1: COVID nineteen may well be with us from now on.
- 33:38Speaker 1: That's right, appearing every winter and lying somewhat dormant in
- 33:41Speaker 1: the spring and summer. And that means, according to doctor
- 33:44Speaker 1: Anthony Fauci, that the answer is going to have to
- 33:46Speaker 1: be a vaccine. The ultimate solution to a virus that
- 33:49Speaker 1: might keep coming back would be a vaccine. We may
- 33:53Speaker 1: have cycling with another season, will be much better prepared,
- 33:56Speaker 1: We likely will have interventions, but the ultimate game changer
- 34:00Speaker 1: in this will be a vaccine, the same way a
- 34:03Speaker 1: vaccine for other diseases that were scourges in the past
- 34:06Speaker 1: that now we don't even worry about. And of course
- 34:08Speaker 1: they're trying to work on that. Florida's Republican Governor Ran
- 34:11Speaker 1: de Santis, mean, while I was now ordering all Floridians
- 34:14Speaker 1: to stay home for thirty days. I'm going to be
- 34:16Speaker 1: doing an executive order directing all Floridians to limit movements
- 34:20Speaker 1: and personal interactions outside the home to only those necessary
- 34:24Speaker 1: to obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Even though there's a lot of places in Florida have
- 34:32Speaker 1: very low infection rates, it makes sense to make this move. Now.
- 34:37Speaker 1: This is a thirty day situation, and you got to
- 34:40Speaker 1: just do what makes the most sense so that order.
- 34:42Speaker 1: It will go into effect at midnight. That's midnight tonight now.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Up till now, Florida was the only state that had
- 34:49Speaker 1: at least five thousand corona infections that had not taken
- 34:52Speaker 1: any kind of similar step. The action finally ordered on
- 34:55Speaker 1: the heels of mounting pressure on DeSantis from health officials
- 34:58Speaker 1: to lock that state. By the way, there have been
- 35:01Speaker 1: eighty six at least eighty six corona desks in Florida,
- 35:04Speaker 1: and now forty five states have issued some kind of
- 35:06Speaker 1: stay at home order. By the way, while health officials
- 35:09Speaker 1: have said that the elderly are most at risk when
- 35:12Speaker 1: it comes to the coronavirus, Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont said
- 35:15Speaker 1: this morning that COVID nineteen has now taken its youngest victim,
- 35:19Speaker 1: a baby, a newborn under seven weeks old. Sad news.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Groundbreaking and influential jazz pianist McCoy Tyner has died at
- 35:27Speaker 1: age eighty one. He had we won five Grammys. He
- 35:30Speaker 1: was the last surviving member of the John Coltrane Quartet.
- 35:33Speaker 1: Jazz patriarch Ellis Marcellus has died. Besides being a stellar
- 35:37Speaker 1: musician himself, Ellis Marcellus also the father of Grammy Award
- 35:40Speaker 1: winning sons Winton and Branford Marcellus. Finally, folks in India
- 35:44Speaker 1: congratulating a local martial artist who smashed the Guinness World
- 35:48Speaker 1: Records for being for crushing the most walnuts with his
- 35:52Speaker 1: elbow in sixty seconds. I guess that's what I don't know.
- 35:58Speaker 1: I suppose Muhammed She cracked two on a fifty six walnuts.
- 36:02Speaker 1: He also holds the record for crushing him with his head.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Now back to the Steve Harvey Morning Show. You're listening
- 36:08Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Well, O. J. Simpson has some
- 36:12Speaker 1: ironic thoughts on Tiger King. Steve, maybe you'll care about
- 36:15Speaker 1: this like everyone else OJ bench O J. Yeah, yes,
- 36:24Speaker 1: comment care Yeah what did he say? Well? He had
- 36:34Speaker 1: some thoughts on the Tiger King. Steve. Like everyone else,
- 36:36Speaker 1: he bene watched uh Tiger King. He posted a video
- 36:40Speaker 1: yesterday yesterday saying he believes Carol Baskin killed her husband
- 36:44Speaker 1: and fed him to her big cat up. Hold up,
- 36:47Speaker 1: hold right there, she did it. Game recognized day somebody,
- 37:00Speaker 1: Oh Jake said that, thank Carol kill human to the
- 37:05Speaker 1: tiger Jamee recognized daddy. Thinking they're going out here to
- 37:14Speaker 1: rest this. He for not, I'm much you because if
- 37:19Speaker 1: oh Jane knows she did it, did it? Did? If
- 37:23Speaker 1: oh Jane, thank you kill somebody, your ass is guilty.
- 37:29Speaker 1: I mean he's sure about it. See he says, there's
- 37:32Speaker 1: no shred of doubt in my mind that that lady's
- 37:35Speaker 1: husband is tiger right now key words shreds uh uh huh.
- 37:43Speaker 1: Here's a man who knows he has no damn business
- 37:49Speaker 1: being free. He knows it. And then he finished that
- 37:53Speaker 1: statement with just saying, just say it, and let me
- 38:01Speaker 1: tell you something. His stupidity never stops beyond man. First
- 38:08Speaker 1: of all, to think that any of us care what
- 38:12Speaker 1: he says. It's alarming the fact that his ass won't
- 38:18Speaker 1: go nowhere. And just this the blank appeal. That's what
- 38:22Speaker 1: he needs to do. This the blank appeal. He know
- 38:29Speaker 1: he needs to if anybody has ever gotten away with
- 38:34Speaker 1: anything so diabolical in the history and then got freed
- 38:39Speaker 1: a second time. I'm still talking why because your ass talking? Yes? Okay?
- 38:45Speaker 1: And and he didn't finish. There's more steam to his
- 38:49Speaker 1: video yesterday he said, white people, what's wrong with you?
- 38:54Speaker 1: And wild what's with you? And wild animals? Leave them
- 38:57Speaker 1: animals at Oh you know is white people? Don't you?
- 39:02Speaker 1: Damn damn this about white life. Let's go to commercial
- 39:07Speaker 1: breaks so I can say what I really want. All right,
- 39:10Speaker 1: coming up at thirty four minutes after the hour, Steve,

- 42:12Speaker 1: going with Bernard mcaeal ain't I never thought I'd go
- 42:16Speaker 1: with Boston Bernard Dog. I hated though, but there was
- 42:21Speaker 1: every fiber in me. But Lord Jesus, the boys could ball.
- 42:26Speaker 1: Who roll? Man? How about you come on? Give me
- 42:31Speaker 1: yours for me? And I know this game. This is
- 42:36Speaker 1: such an opinion. You know, people, nobody's wrong here right no,
- 42:43Speaker 1: right there. I've watched basketball. I saw all these eras
- 42:47Speaker 1: that damn creeen my beans ball. I knew it. I
- 42:52Speaker 1: knew it is the single game changing its player to
- 42:57Speaker 1: ever play professional basketball. He changed the game. He stopped
- 43:02Speaker 1: talking in college, he had a shot. Couldn't nobody stop?
- 43:06Speaker 1: The boy played d he was and he was a
- 43:09Speaker 1: competitor and Magic Lord, the greatest point guard to ever live.
- 43:16Speaker 1: I'm going with Kareem and Match. But now let me
- 43:21Speaker 1: tell you something on his thing. I said it was
- 43:25Speaker 1: a three way tie for first place. And the three
- 43:30Speaker 1: way tie gave him was Jordan Pippen, Kobe Shack, Kareem
- 43:37Speaker 1: and Magic. And I say, but I want to sig
- 43:40Speaker 1: because I know Burden. I know Burden. Michael belong on
- 43:44Speaker 1: that the only reason I'm doing this is because I'm
- 43:47Speaker 1: friends with three of these people. I'm actually cool with
- 43:55Speaker 1: Lebron d Wade, I love Magic my Boy, and I
- 44:00Speaker 1: know Scottie and Jordan, So that's why I had to
- 44:02Speaker 1: pick them, because I don't know Burden, mccam and Stockton
- 44:06Speaker 1: and Malone was a beast too. Man. All right, coming
- 44:10Speaker 1: up next, a nephew in the building with a frank
- 44:12Speaker 1: phone call for today. Right after this, you're listening to
- 44:16Speaker 1: Steve Morning Show coming up at the top of the hour,
- 44:20Speaker 1: right about four minutes after. It's my strawberry letter for today,
- 44:24Speaker 1: subject my feet looked better than hers, my feet looked
- 44:29Speaker 1: better than not right now, right now, right now yet
- 44:35Speaker 1: And before we get to the nephew and today's frank
- 44:38Speaker 1: phone call, Steve, you had one more thing you wanted
- 44:40Speaker 1: to add about our last break in the basketball teams
- 44:43Speaker 1: the due But now let me tell you something. When
- 44:46Speaker 1: it came to the guard position, Okay, Joe duma and
- 44:52Speaker 1: Isaiah Thomas Jesse, two gods done six fooning under oh Lord,
- 45:01Speaker 1: lock up here they come. Damn damn Detroit boys, fad
- 45:07Speaker 1: boy boys. Listen, man, Joe Dumas and Isaiah Thomas together.
- 45:13Speaker 1: They wasn't as popular, but come to playing basketball, dog.
- 45:18Speaker 1: It was ugly over there. Man. Anyway, come on Corona
- 45:21Speaker 1: were basketball bade stripping. All right, here's what I got
- 45:28Speaker 1: for you. I got adult daycare time they call it.
- 45:33Speaker 1: There are people that drop their parents off in the morning.

- 46:19Speaker 1: day with herself. For my understanding is you're gonna be
- 46:22Speaker 1: here probably the majority of this year. What are you
- 46:25Speaker 1: talking what are you talking about? Being there? Where? Here
- 46:30Speaker 1: at the the adult daycare, adult daycare? Where where's that?

- 46:38Speaker 1: is Evan, my name, My name is Evan, yes, ma'am.
- 46:41Speaker 1: And your daughter is Diane. Diane that you know daughters? Yes,
- 46:47Speaker 1: Well she's the one that as you're signed up, you're
- 46:50Speaker 1: gonna be at the adult daycare. So I'm assuming she's
- 46:52Speaker 1: gonna be dropping you off every morning, and I how
- 46:55Speaker 1: are you talking about, Evan? Evan, hang on a second.
- 46:57Speaker 1: All right, First of all, I don't know who you are.
- 47:00Speaker 1: You don't know who I am. I don't know how
- 47:02Speaker 1: the you know who my daughter is? But this is
- 47:07Speaker 1: this is really uh inappropriate and weird and like a
- 47:11Speaker 1: you're trying to get what do you what do you want?
- 47:14Speaker 1: Do you want money to me? Or you like a solicitor? No? No, no,
- 47:18Speaker 1: no man, no no no not at I'm a share No,
- 47:20Speaker 1: I'm your daughter has signed you up to be here
- 47:25Speaker 1: at the adult daycare during the day, so I'm just
- 47:28Speaker 1: going to I don't know what you're talking about. There's
- 47:31Speaker 1: no way she would do that. I don't day here,
- 47:33Speaker 1: what do I need to don't take care for? So what? Well?
- 47:36Speaker 1: Evidently are you home alone most of the time during
- 47:39Speaker 1: the day. Who cares if I'm home alone? Who? Why
- 47:42Speaker 1: are you asking me that you're trying to break into
- 47:44Speaker 1: my house? No? No, no, you are, man, I don't
- 47:48Speaker 1: know who share Okay, man, look I'm hooked up to
- 47:53Speaker 1: that uh nine one month stuff. Things like I could
- 47:57Speaker 1: just do a panicle right now and trace this call
- 48:01Speaker 1: and then will come to you and arrest you because
- 48:03Speaker 1: you're harassing me. No, no, no, okay, miss Sharon, I'm
- 48:08Speaker 1: not harassing you. Your daughter Diane came in and signed up. Yes,
- 48:14Speaker 1: she signed you up for you to go to this
- 48:16Speaker 1: daycare Monday to Friday. Why she's at work, so she's
- 48:20Speaker 1: going to be dropping you off and then she'll pick
- 48:22Speaker 1: you up in the evenings on her way home from work.
- 48:25Speaker 1: I actually don't know where you got that from. I
- 48:27Speaker 1: don't know who told you that. Yeah, you got my
- 48:29Speaker 1: daughter's name. And this is really freaking me out, you
- 48:32Speaker 1: know a little bit over here, Ivan, because I don't
- 48:34Speaker 1: know why you know my name. You know my daughter's name. Ah,
- 48:38Speaker 1: this is like the only reason I name miss miss
- 48:41Speaker 1: Sharon is because she came in and gave all the
- 48:45Speaker 1: information and she has paid for you to come to
- 48:48Speaker 1: the adult daycare on a daily bay. Yeah, yeah, yeah, here.
- 48:51Speaker 1: You know what, you sound like a nice guy, you
- 48:53Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like, you're smooth, you got a
- 48:55Speaker 1: nice voice, You're you're you know, like you know what
- 48:58Speaker 1: to say. I don't know who hell you are though,
- 49:00Speaker 1: I don't know what we're talking about, you know what
- 49:02Speaker 1: I mean? Like, I'm not going to no daycare center.
- 49:05Speaker 1: I'm not going with daycare center date because I'm fine.
- 49:10Speaker 1: Just get that through your head. There's nothing wrong with me.
- 49:13Speaker 1: I stay home, I got a dog, I walk the dog,
- 49:17Speaker 1: I go grocery shopping, my daughter comes over. Everything's sign.
- 49:22Speaker 1: I don't even know daycare center. Okay, Well say what
- 49:24Speaker 1: I'm saying that there is there is there a reason
- 49:27Speaker 1: why she would sign you up, ma'am. She must, she
- 49:30Speaker 1: must be looking out for your best. You know your health.
- 49:33Speaker 1: Let me ask you to let me ask you are
- 49:35Speaker 1: you single? What are you single? Are you married? What
- 49:39Speaker 1: does that have to do with anybody? I'm not coming
- 49:42Speaker 1: to no daycare center, all right, Evan. Like, if you
- 49:44Speaker 1: want to come to my house and you want to
- 49:46Speaker 1: see how I live, you can I know, don't. I'm
- 49:50Speaker 1: not switching the I'm switching it up Okay, I don't
- 49:54Speaker 1: need to come to your home. I'm more concerned about
- 49:57Speaker 1: making sure you're comfortable here at the adult day when
- 50:00Speaker 1: you get here on Monday. Yeah, I'm not coming there.
- 50:03Speaker 1: That's it. I'm not coming there because there's nothing wrong
- 50:05Speaker 1: with me. I'm not coming out of my house. But
- 50:07Speaker 1: I'll pay for even you. I don't know. Like I
- 50:12Speaker 1: like your voice. I just like your voice. And miss
- 50:16Speaker 1: way minut mister how old you? How old you m?
- 50:21Speaker 1: I'm fifty fifty. Have you ever been with an eighty
- 50:26Speaker 1: nine year old lady? Wow? Wow? Nine? And you sound
- 50:32Speaker 1: really nice? That's all. Like at first I was scared
- 50:35Speaker 1: of you. At first, I want I'll be honest, I
- 50:38Speaker 1: was scared of you. And now I'm not. Like I
- 50:41Speaker 1: don't know why. I'm just not you know what I mean?
- 50:44Speaker 1: Like you just sound not. Yeah, I don't know who
- 50:48Speaker 1: you are. But okay, so will you be here? Will
- 50:54Speaker 1: you be at the day care center like you? Because
- 50:56Speaker 1: I like to meet you. I'll be at the daycare
- 51:01Speaker 1: when you arrive on Monday. But I mean not, um,

- 51:49Speaker 1: your age here. I'm not in the ladies. I'm not
- 51:52Speaker 1: in late. I didn't I'm not turning yeah, not into it.
- 51:56Speaker 1: I'm into I'm into you. Okay. Um. I think it's
- 52:01Speaker 1: a situation like your your daughter doesn't want you to
- 52:04Speaker 1: be by yourself. Yeah, could you could I call you back?
- 52:09Speaker 1: Can I call you back? Yeah? Let me call you back.

- 53:50Speaker 1: of this sugar honey iced tea was on my vision board.
- 53:59Speaker 1: None none, I thought was the perfect vision here. None
- 54:06Speaker 1: of this sugar honey iced tea was oh my vision.
- 54:10Speaker 1: I know people are so creative being at home with
- 54:14Speaker 1: their Instagram posts and stuff. They really are, But anyway,
- 54:18Speaker 1: we could be reading your letter live on the air.
- 54:20Speaker 1: So send us your letters. All right, let's go, nephew,
- 54:24Speaker 1: buggle up and hold on tight. We got it for you. Here.
- 54:26Speaker 1: It is the straw every letter subject. My feet looked
- 54:30Speaker 1: better than hers. Dear Stephen Shirley, I am a thirty
- 54:34Speaker 1: year old man and I've been dating a new girl
- 54:36Speaker 1: for about three months. Intimacy came after we had known
- 54:39Speaker 1: each other for at least a month. I would sleep
- 54:42Speaker 1: over at her house or she'd stay at mine. One
- 54:45Speaker 1: evening in late March, we were watching the news and
- 54:48Speaker 1: heard about the mandatory stay at home order. We decided
- 54:52Speaker 1: that she would stay at my house for a while
- 54:55Speaker 1: until things got back to normal. She brought comfrey clothes
- 54:58Speaker 1: and a few of her personal items to my house.
- 55:01Speaker 1: We got lots of food and snacks and settled in.
- 55:04Speaker 1: The longer she stayed with me, the more comfortable she got.
- 55:09Speaker 1: That's when I realized that I had never seen her
- 55:12Speaker 1: without socks on. I finally saw her feet, and oh
- 55:17Speaker 1: my god, her feet and toes are wrecked. Her toenails
- 55:22Speaker 1: are thick and long, and she's got crusty corns on
- 55:26Speaker 1: most of her toes. Her toenail polishes chipped off, and
- 55:30Speaker 1: her heels are cracked and ashy. It looks like she
- 55:33Speaker 1: used to play a lot of football, or maybe she
- 55:37Speaker 1: walked barefoot for most of her life. I've been keeping
- 55:40Speaker 1: the air conditioner on continuously because I know she hates
- 55:44Speaker 1: for her feet to be cold, and she has to
- 55:47Speaker 1: wear fluffy socks to keep her feet warm and covered.
- 55:50Speaker 1: These toes might be a deal breaker from me. I
- 55:53Speaker 1: begged my sister to talk to her, and my sister
- 55:56Speaker 1: said that she will invite her to get a pedicure
- 55:58Speaker 1: soon so she can see how to take care of
- 56:00Speaker 1: her feet. But in the meantime, I'm stuck with this
- 56:04Speaker 1: great woman that has feet like a vulture. I'm finding
- 56:08Speaker 1: it hard to be intimate with her. Can you offer
- 56:11Speaker 1: any suggestions. I don't want to hurt her feelings, please help? Wow? Well,
- 56:16Speaker 1: typical man, I mean, men are visual. It's it's a
- 56:20Speaker 1: lot about what they see and how you look, and
- 56:22Speaker 1: how you take care of yourself and things like that.
- 56:25Speaker 1: That's just how you know. Men are built, they're visual.
- 56:29Speaker 1: They just are. And if you saw the movie Boomerang
- 56:32Speaker 1: with Eddie Murphy back in the day, you know that
- 56:35Speaker 1: no matter how fine you are from head to ankle,
- 56:38Speaker 1: Thoh's feet have to look good. Layla Bashan was beautiful
- 56:42Speaker 1: in the movie, she really was. But when Eddie pulled
- 56:44Speaker 1: back the covers and saw her, yes, Graham, yeah, remember
- 56:50Speaker 1: how his face crashed. His face was all twisted up
- 56:53Speaker 1: after that. You know, I think both men and women
- 56:57Speaker 1: of course, should take care of their feet. And you know,
- 57:01Speaker 1: they're just so many options these days. I mean, so
- 57:04Speaker 1: many nail salons, so many things to do. I know
- 57:07Speaker 1: we're in quarantine right now and the nail salons are closed.
- 57:10Speaker 1: I know that. But if you can't go, you still
- 57:13Speaker 1: have to take care of yourself. You still have to
- 57:14Speaker 1: find a way to do it. Okay, every woman knows
- 57:18Speaker 1: how to polish their nails right, clip your toe nails,
- 57:21Speaker 1: things like that, you know, make your feet soft and everything.
- 57:25Speaker 1: You know, put some motion on them, put some socks
- 57:27Speaker 1: on them, things like that. You know, we have to
- 57:30Speaker 1: make ourselves look as nice as we can during this time.
- 57:35Speaker 1: I mean, I don't think there's really an excuse right now.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Just because you can't get to the nail salon. It's
- 57:40Speaker 1: called good grooming, it's called good hygiene. I mean, I
- 57:43Speaker 1: appreciate you for not wanting to hurt her feelings, but
- 57:46Speaker 1: I think you should be the one to tell her
- 57:48Speaker 1: nicely yourself. I don't think you should leave this up
- 57:50Speaker 1: to your sister, because it looks like you guys are
- 57:53Speaker 1: going to be together for a while. You says she's
- 57:55Speaker 1: a great woman. You says she's a great woman. Just
- 58:01Speaker 1: you know, she just needs to take better care of
- 58:03Speaker 1: her feet. At least you gotta tell her. You gotta
- 58:06Speaker 1: tell her this. When this is all over, You know,
- 58:09Speaker 1: you guys are gonna have a spot there or something.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Go to the nail salon and get your feet done,
- 58:13Speaker 1: get a manny patty. That's the least you could do
- 58:15Speaker 1: for this woman. You say, that's, you know, a great woman, Steve,
- 58:19Speaker 1: That ain't what this is. That is not what this is.
- 58:24Speaker 1: The description in this letter is not many petty curable.
- 58:31Speaker 1: I've been dating this new girl three months. One even
- 58:34Speaker 1: slept at the house. She sleep at yours. He was
- 58:38Speaker 1: watching the news, heard about to stay at home. We
- 58:40Speaker 1: decided she would stay at my house for a while
- 58:43Speaker 1: two things got back normal. She bought some comfy clothes,
- 58:47Speaker 1: a few personal items. Y'all loaded up on food and snacks.
- 58:53Speaker 1: Long as she stayed, the more comfortable she got. That's
- 58:56Speaker 1: when I realized I had never seen her without sun. See,
- 59:00Speaker 1: this letter is building up. That's how I know we
- 59:02Speaker 1: have a problem here. Most men just get right to it.
- 59:05Speaker 1: This is a build up. You don't know what's going on.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Then I realized I ain't never seen it without socks.
- 59:11Speaker 1: I finally saw her feet, and old, my god, her
- 59:17Speaker 1: feet and toes are rent. Her toenails are thick. See
- 59:23Speaker 1: she got that from her daddy. When you have to nails,
- 59:30Speaker 1: you get that from an old black man. She got
- 59:35Speaker 1: old black man told, and they told that they thick
- 59:40Speaker 1: and long. That means the nail clip don't open up
- 59:44Speaker 1: wide enough to cut them. They have to be filed down.
- 59:49Speaker 1: She got crusty corns on most of her toes because
- 59:53Speaker 1: if she tried to file her feet, then toenails cuts
- 59:57Speaker 1: her own hands. She had worn her nail polishers. Chip.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: We got problems here homing, And when I come back,
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you how bad it is. All right,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: we'll have heard two of Steve's response coming up at
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: twenty three minutes after the hour, today's Strawberry Letters subject
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: my feet looked better than hers. We'll get into it
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: right after this. You're listening show, all right, Steve, Come on,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: let's recap today's strawberry letter subject my feet. My feet
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: looked better than her feet. Well, we got a problem, though.
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: That ain't usually how the case go. Your man's feet
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: looked better than yours. We have a major problem. She
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: finally stayed at the house. She bought comfy clothes. Y'all, quarantine.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: You can't send a home, she can't go out. You
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: don't want to ask her to come over me the
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: first time, y'all you haven't looked at her feet. Oh
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: my god, feet and toes is wrecking. Toneil's is thick.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: That's them, old black man, tonel's them, old white man
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: tonel's them old lactina toneil's that's them, Old Asian man Tonel's.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: That's them, old Native American ass man. To man. Your
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: girl got man feet. Her corns is crusted, her toenail
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: polish is chipped off, her heels is cracked. She's been
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: like she in the flintstones, like she live in bed Rock.
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: It's time to stop her car. She hanged her damn
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: foot out the door, slam on breast, heels is cracked
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: and ashy. Looked like she used to play football. That's soccer, boy,
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: And she walked bare foot most of her life. I've
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: been keeping the ass condition her own constantly because I
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: know she hate for her feet to be cold, and
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: she gotta wear fluffy socks to keep her feet warm.
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: Good idea, that's a good idea. Cut that air all
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: the way down, Get into sixty twos, come out of fact.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Just cut it down until it say lower damn that six,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: get to get to old David Letterman Studio fifty eight.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: David Letterman kept his studio at fifty eight degrees. When
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: I used to do the show, all the cameramll have
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: on gloves and go be freezing in that. I begged
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: my sister to talk to her, invited to a pedicust
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: so she could know how to take care of feet.
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: But in the meantime, I'm stuck with this great woman,

- 1:02:52Speaker 1: my fault. Everybody ain't pretty, But that's what I won't.
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: So I don't give a damn but you not had
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: having pretty ass feet. That ain't my problem, but that's
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: what I won't. You know, your feet ain't got to
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: be gorgeous, but they can't be this though your damn heels.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: You need corn Huskers lotion. Now, first suggestion you thirty.

- 1:03:35Speaker 1: looking down there. Now when you do look down, now,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: try to pretend that them ain't her feet. Just try
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: to pretend she got on the pad, your gators. That's
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: all you got to do. She got my shoes on,
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: she got church shoes on. She just got my church
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: shoes on. That's all that is. Now Listen to me.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Buy huss ugs, because that was she got anyway, Buy
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: huss ugs, them big boots. Buy something she needs that
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: at some point ugs go to bed. Now, let have
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: her hang her feet off the bottom. Listen to me.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: Surgery surgery. You gotta get her into foot surgery. They

- 1:04:40Speaker 1: your girls fixed. Feet fixed. They got surgery, they really do. Man.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: We had a guy used to come on the radio
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: in New York when we was up there that did
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: a foot surgery, fixed hammatoes and all that they got that.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: Maybe you could help graze the money and get it that.
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: Don't give up. This great woman got bad feet. Start
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: to go fund Listen to me when she sleep. When
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: she sleeps, take a picture of her foot and start
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: a go FUNDI page and just ask people to help.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: You be surprised how many people I've seen you something.
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: Start a gummy go FUNDI page. I got a doll
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: I get a thousand dollars, get her feet fixed. At
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: least get it started. That surgery could cost up to
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: seven to eight thousand dollars. We don't know. But you
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: got to get a go FUNDI page because you got
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: to stop this or else this ain't gonna work. Because
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: I'm leaving you. I'm just telling you flat out right now.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: I'm leaving it. And so we together until his quarantine
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: is over. But when you go back home, she's a
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: great woman. Huh. She's a great woman. That's why I'm
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: gonna try to get her feet fixed because she's a
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: great woman. I'm gonna try to get her feet fixed.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna try, but I cannot. I can't can't do it.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I can't stay with you with the bad feet, like
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: crusty and all like this, at least all of them up. Yeah,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: you know, clip your toe nails. Do you can't wear
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: chip polish and have Jack delf film. No, you can't
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: do that. You ain't thirteen nine. All right, listen, thank you, Steve.

- 1:06:50Speaker 1: so we can get this settled down. I think it's
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: gonna go all the way to father to day. I
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: think this what's gonna happen Easter. We're gonna be summoning

- 1:06:58Speaker 1: put on your little outfit early in the morn a

- 1:07:03Speaker 1: Turn Joe Oldstein on Bishop TV. Jake, somebody, look, the
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: dude in Tampa need to go to jail. That preacher
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: need to go jail. But that's the white But that's
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: the white people. He need to go back into jail, y'all.
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: He need to go back. You don't see the Black
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: church acting like that. We know what we need to do.
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: That's fo them. People believe in what Trump say talk
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: about we can get together. Ain't that gonna happen to us.
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: But as soon as somebody get the rona and you
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: get sued and they take a little tabernacle away, now
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: you're gonna be looking stupid. You ain't look across high.
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: That's what happened. So everybody just need to stay home.
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: You need to stay home all the way through like East,
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: You're gonna stay home. Mother's Day. You already live with yourbama.
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: Your grown ass already lived with your mama. So you're
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: already there for Mother's Day. Just cook us something you
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: can barbecue out the guy ridge. That's what we need
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: we do with Chicago. You shut the scrub, don't get
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: brand new on me. You gotta taste for barbecue in
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: the winter. You will barbecue right out the guyridge. Hold
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: the door, let the smoke go out of that. You
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: can do that right for your mama. Didn't hit mamaa day.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: By the time we get the father Day, we go
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: see our father, whether you know him or not. Going
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: over there now, I'm telling you, don't think I have
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: forgot about our love. And just because we're Laurantine does
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: not mean that we can't get no freaky stuff going out.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: You know, we put our cameras on it everything. And
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: we should recreate great love scenes from black movies, you know,
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: like we need to do the bathb scene and super Fly.
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: Listen to me one one bust up. You know that
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: dingy water that telling you come on now, we can
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: do it. I'll tell you what we do. We get
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: the pots and pants in the bathroom and we'll do
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: the fight scene from Latest Sing the Blues when Dinah
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: Ross's love to do with that, I don't know what
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: maybe well they not good scene, Tommy lightning the swimming
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: pool scene like, whoa snap cracker pod? Don't we can't
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: do that movie. We gotta do a good you know,
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Claudine or something. Rat get killed and you're eating a
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: chicken leg. Listen, did you see when the rat trapping
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: James L. Jones was no joke? Back then? Got rest
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: of us up. Listen to me, Junior. Listen, Jeff Kobe quarantine.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: We hashtag along together, Junior, don't play me boy. I
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: will show up in the helicopter. Slide down your chili
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: like it's happening. Yes, thank you, we love you, has
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: by Junior. Reality update coming up at the top of
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: the hour right after this. You're listening, all right, Tommy,
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: it is that time. Let's go. Let's get it, Let's
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: get it, let's get it. She is here. It is
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: Colin Farrell with what reality update? Right, Thank you, nephew.
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: Let's talk about keeping up with the Kardashian Oh, yes,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: they are back. This is season eighteen, is their eighteenth season.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: So Courtney and Kim got into a food fight, a
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: physical fight, two millionnails fight. Come on, so listen, Courtney Field,
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: the oldest one she has the kids with Scott. Okay,
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: so Courtney feels like Kim and Chloe are always judging her,
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: and it seems like Courtney she's kind of tired of
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: the show, she's tired of filming the show. She wants
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: to be a stay at home mom, and so she
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: is really sick of Kim judging her, saying that Courtney
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: doesn't work as hard as the rest of the sister
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: or work as hard as she and Kim does as
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: Kim and Chloe does, And so Courtney believes that Kim
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: and Chloe treat her different when the cameras are rolling.
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: So take a listen when Courtney was going off on
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: Chloe and Kim. Take a look, Oh my god, we're done.
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: We're done. That conversation is done. And you get upset
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: any day because you're attitude and you're looking attitude, and
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: don't see you at filming. You're completely fine when we're
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: not in this environment. Actually, so it should gousser you
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: or what? I don't want to be Okay, who can
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: I say something right here? Yeah? I don't know whose
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: voice they all found. The girl was going on, I've
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: just heard three three valley girls having a conversation sitting
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: over here, going, I don't know who the hell I'm
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: talking about. I don't know who voice belong to who,
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: so so anyway, so Courtney was the one that was upset.
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: And before that whole conversation, the conversation was supposed to
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: be about Kendall not wanting to fill in for Kylie.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: Kylie was sick. She was supposed to go to Paris
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: to do this show and be a model, and it
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: was a big makeup thing for this Parisian show she
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: was supposed to be in. So Chris asked the mother.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Of course, Chris asked Kendall to fill in for her
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: sister Kylie. Kendall said no. Chris asked Kim, Kim said no.
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: So Kim's point was that Kylie should go even though
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: she was sick. And Kim was saying, if it was
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: me or Chloe, you know, we would have been right there.
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: And so Courtney was like, there you go, always trying
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: to act like you work harder than everybody else. If
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: I want to be a stay at home mom, then
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: I could be a stay at home mom. Next thing,
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: you know, Courtney throws a bottle of water and Kim
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: she comes after Kim, Kim jumps up Kim. They going added,
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: Kim pushes her, slaps her, so Chloe is trying to
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: break them up, and Kim kept going. She kept hitting Courtney,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: She kept hitting her, and it was just really ugly
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: to see that good a fight. No, it was, you know,
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: not what who we used to see. Yeah, yeah, I've
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: seen some people that was in family family member beat
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: each other. Ass Yeah, we've seen some fights. Yeah yeah,
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: I'm talking about Tyson Fury, Dante Wilder type of So quickly,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: let me just say. Kim said that what we didn't
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: see was that Courtney scratched her because she Kim kept
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: coming for Courtney and she said she scratched her and
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: she was bleeding. She went on Jimmy fallon and Kim
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: said that she felt bad that violent. She doesn't want
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: to resort to violence, but that the sisters half squashed
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: this since then, but Chris, when she saw the footage,
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: the mother was very upset. She shut down production for
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: a week. She told her girls, this is not who
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: we are. I don't know who y'all are. This is
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: not the type of show that we have. So yeah,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: Courtney has left the show, watching too much Lanta Housewife.
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: Hit me up at love spark Carlo social media. You see,
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: Steve got a lot to say about this. I'm sure
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: you do too, some damn housewife show man. Please hit
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: me up and love Sparrlo. We'll be back twenty you're
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: listening to show. Both the World Health Organization and the
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have said that regular
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: citizens don't need to wear masks in the midst of
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: COVID nineteen uh unless they're sick and coughing and sneezing.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: Those are the only reasons. There's also concern that healthcare
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: workers across the globe are dealing with short of N
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: ninety five masks and other protective gear. But now it
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: seems like the CDC and the White House Coronavirus Task
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: Force is considering it. So what do you guys think
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: about wearing masks? I'm wearing them all the time. Yeah,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: ain't nobody everything I'm wearing them. But I mean, if
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: you have to go outside or something to the grocery store, first,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: I ain't gonna go nowhere. I can't go nowhere. My
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: wife gonna let me go No damn where I can't
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: go nowhere. Surely I can't go no where. Can anybody
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: come over here? All delivery stop at the damn gate.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: You can't do nothing, dn something. Then she go out
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: there with folk cans and lights, all spray all that down.
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Didn't wipe the box off with clo rocks tow By
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: the time we bring the big wet ass box in
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: the house and open it up, I'm so sick right here. Oh,
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: ask me nothing else. Hey, I'm now, I ain't got
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: no mask on because you know why, Because I ain't
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: got nobody to talk to you? Why I need no
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: damn mask now unless these damn mosquitoes and birds got
- 1:15:58Speaker 1: the damn corona in my backyard. That's all I'm allowed
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: to talk to. Ask me nothing else about, No damn man,
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: I wish I had a mask, all right? Yeah, now
- 1:16:09Speaker 1: we know how you really feel. More of some trending
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: stories coming up at thirty three minutes after the hour,
- 1:16:19Speaker 1: right after this you're listening show. Well. O J. Simpson
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: has some ironic thoughts on Tiger King, Steve. Maybe you'll
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: care about this like everyone else OJ BENJ Yeah, yeah
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: talking comment care Yeah did he say? Well? He has
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: some thoughts on the Tiger King. Steve, like everyone else,
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: he bene watched uh Tiger King. He posted a video
- 1:16:53Speaker 1: yesterday yesterday saying he believes Carol Baskin killed her husband
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: and fed him to her big cat. That's it up,
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: hold up, hold right, she did it? Game recognized dame,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: somebody take care, I found somebody, Oh Jake said, thank
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: Carl killed the husband to the tiger. Game recognized daddy
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: thinking ding ding ding ding. They going out here to
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: rest this? He for not. I'm much you because if
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: oh Jane knows she did it, did it? Did? If
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: oh Jane, thank you kill somebody, your ass is guilty.
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: I mean he's sure about it, Steve. He says, there's
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: no shred of doubt in my mind that that lady's
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: husband is tiger right now, keywords shreds uh uh huh.
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: Here's a man who knows. He has no damn business
- 1:18:02Speaker 1: being free. He knows. And then he finished that statement
- 1:18:06Speaker 1: with just saying, just say it, and let me tell
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: you something. His stupidity never stops beyond, first of all,
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: to think that any of us care what he said.
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: It's alarming the fact that his ass won't go nowhere.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: And just this the blank appeal. That's what he needs
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: to do. He this is the blank appeal. He know
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: he needs to if anybody has ever gotten away with
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: anything so diabolical in the history and then got free
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: a second time? Still talking? Why your ass talking? Yes? Okay,
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: And he didn't finish it. There's more steave to his
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: video yesterday he said, white people, what's wrong with you?
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: And wild what's with you? And wild animals? Leave them animals?
- 1:19:10Speaker 1: A Oh, you know it's white people, don't you. Damn
- 1:19:15Speaker 1: damn make this about white light. Let's go to commercial
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: break so I can say what I really want. All right,
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: coming up our last break of the day, and of
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: course we'll have some closing remarks from the one and
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: only Steve Harvey coming up at forty nine minutes after
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to all right, guys, here
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: we are the last break of the day, last breaker day.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: Are you okay? I just wanted to sound sick because
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: you sick in his quarantine. Yeah, it's been a good
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: day though, it has. Yeah, I'm actually doing well on
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: the quarantine because I have a different approach to it
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: than I had the first couple of days. So here's
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: a deal. Let me. Let me do it in form
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: of close remark, because I think that what I did
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: was instead of looking at as a quarantine, instead of
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: looking at it is I can't go anywhere because, like
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: I said yesterday, nobody can. Eighty seven percent of the
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: country is on a mandatory stay at home. So we
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: can stop with it. I can't, I can't. I no, no,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: we can't, none of us. But I've really discovered something.
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I want you all to try to look at this
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: in a different This is a time of abundance in
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: your life. It really is. You have an abundant amount
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: of time. You have a chance to refresh yourself. Here.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: You have a time with not having to go to work.
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: Look if you got kids at home and all like that.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: I got that. Okay, okay, okay, I got that. But
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: still let's keep looking a little bit deeper than that.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: I know it's stressing a lot of people out, but
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: we gotta start looking at this thing different. Man. This
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: could very well be a blessing in disguise. I got
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: its difficult times. But I was looking on Instagram the
- 1:21:32Speaker 1: other day. That was a guy who a year and
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: a half ago lost his home, his family. He excuse me.
- 1:21:42Speaker 1: He lost his mother, he lost his job, and he
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: lost his home, all in a matter of weeks less
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: than a year ago. This year, same time last year,
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: he did eight million dollars in sales. Just a year ago.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: His mother, his job, and his home. I probably for
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: those who have lost a parent, you know what that
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: feels like. For those of you have lost your home,
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: you know what that feels like. And for those of
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: you that have lost your job, you know what that
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: feels like. Put all that together. One year later, he
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: did eight million in sales. You got to first of all,
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: let's come to this conclusion and understanding. This is a
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: fact that this is not gonna last forever. That's a
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: fact that this tool shall pass. That's a fact everything does.
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: Everything passes. That might be taken a little bit longer
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: than all of us wanted to, but this tool shall pass,
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: and this two is gonna be a part of our past.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: So instead of taking yourself through this mental anguish every day, Look,
- 1:23:11Speaker 1: you've got to find the bright side wherever it is.
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: You've got to look for the up in this. If
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: you keep looking further down, you are going to miss
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: the blessing. I promise you you will, But you've got
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: to look up to see what God is doing. Man,
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: God don't want your head down. God is above ground.
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: God is working at sunshine day when He worked behind
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: the clouds. You can't even see it, but even the
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: clouds is up in the air. Come on, man, you've
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: got to change your outlook. You are now Steve, How
- 1:23:52Speaker 1: I'm will do that? Find it? See the Bible says
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: seek and you shall find. You got to look for
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: the right side. You got to look for the silver
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: lining behind every cloud of doubt. You got to look
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: for it. If you don't look forward, how you gonna
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: find it? Seeking you shall find. You make one step,
- 1:24:10Speaker 1: he'll make two. Faith is the belief in things that
- 1:24:13Speaker 1: you cannot see. You've got to believe that this is
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: gonna pass. You've got to believe that you're gonna survive this.
- 1:24:19Speaker 1: You've got to believe that you're gonna be okay, because
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: all you gotta do is look at your track record.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: Ain't you always somehow been okay? I don't care what
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: didn't happened? Ain't you been okay? How dare you I'm
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: talking to black people for just one second, excuse me?
- 1:24:37Speaker 1: How dare you survived four hundred years of slavery, and
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: thank you. I'm gonna get past this. How dare us? Look? Man,
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: get your head up. We're gonna survive this. Now. I'm
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: back to talking to everybody. Now, listen to me. The Recession,
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: we survived it. All the wars we survived him, the
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: Vietnam War, the afghanis dying. Where all the mistakes, every
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: bad president we've ever had, We're gonna survive all that.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: We're gonna survive this one. We're gonna have a new
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: president one day. One day, it's gonna be another president.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: I ain't got none of my faith wrapped up in this, dude,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: Neither should you put your faith in God. God is hoped.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: God is deliverance. God is healing. God is security, God
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: is hope. God is joy. God is the promise of tomorrow.
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: God is a fixer and a deliverer. Man, I wish
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: I would be sitting over here with my head hanging down.
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: I refuse to not realize of all the things I've
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: been through, that all that God has brought me through,
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: brought me through, that I will not survive this. I refuse,
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: and I wish you would take that same attitude. I
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: know it's people out there to feel the same way,
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: but there's some good in this. Enjoy this time of refreshment,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: this time of ease where you don't have to go
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: to work, find something to do positive and be grateful
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: instead of complaining all the time. Those are my closing remarks.
- 1:26:06Speaker 1: I'm just trying to I just want y'all pull it together. Man,
