Speaker 1: Today's show is pre recorded. Y'all know what time. Y'all
• 0:05
Speaker 1: don't know. Y'all have a sun giving them like the
• 0:15
Speaker 1: million bucks things and its not true. Good Steve to
• 0:26
Speaker 1: other fort I don't join Jo. You gotta use that
• 1:01
Speaker 1: turn you. You gotta turn to turn them out. Turn
• 1:43
Speaker 1: you love, got the turnout to turn turn the water
• 1:47
Speaker 1: the water go. Come come on your baby now. Uh huh.
• 2:02
Speaker 1: I show will a good morning everybody. You'll listening to
• 2:06
Speaker 1: the voice. Come on dig me now, one and only
• 2:08
Speaker 1: Steve Harvey oh Man got a radio show. Man got
• 2:13
Speaker 1: a radio show, and a whole lot more to man.
• 2:15
Speaker 1: God is good to me. I have no other explanation,
• 2:18
Speaker 1: if I have no other explanation of my existence and
• 2:23
Speaker 1: where I stand in this thing called life, except if
• 2:26
Speaker 1: it was not for the goodness of God Almighty. If
• 2:29
Speaker 1: it was not for His grace and his mercy, There's
• 2:33
Speaker 1: no way I could exist the way that I do.
• 2:36
Speaker 1: I would not be who I am or where I am.
• 2:39
Speaker 1: I am who I am and where I am simply
• 2:43
Speaker 1: because God is who he is. If it was not
• 2:48
Speaker 1: for God, I would have no testimony for you, because
• 2:52
Speaker 1: I would have failed every single test plain, pure and simple,
• 2:59
Speaker 1: I can sit here today until you flat out that
• 3:03
Speaker 1: it is purely because of God's grace and mercy that
• 3:08
Speaker 1: I exist today because of His favor. See now He
• 3:12
Speaker 1: shows us favor in life because of a combination of
• 3:16
Speaker 1: things I've discovered. And this is not the whole answer
• 3:20
Speaker 1: to life, I can assure you as not. But this
• 3:23
Speaker 1: is a combination that I've grown to understand better and better,
• 3:28
Speaker 1: and I wish I had gotten it earlier in my life.
• 3:31
Speaker 1: But here it is. If you take faith and you
• 3:38
Speaker 1: combine it with an incredible work ethic, then God has
• 3:48
Speaker 1: the greatest opportunities to show you favor. That's the best
• 3:55
Speaker 1: way I can explain success to you from my standpoint.
• 3:59
Speaker 1: It is to combination of faith and work that produces
• 4:04
Speaker 1: the most opportunities for God to show you favor. See
• 4:09
Speaker 1: a lot of times we want God to bless us,
• 4:11
Speaker 1: but we ain't doing nothing for him to bless So
• 4:14
Speaker 1: now we sideways in the equation a little bit. But
• 4:18
Speaker 1: see if you had the faith in God that God
• 4:22
Speaker 1: can do anything but fail, that God will get you through,
• 4:26
Speaker 1: that God will see you through, that that God is
• 4:29
Speaker 1: the God you serve as the greatest gift of all
• 4:31
Speaker 1: good things. If you kept that faith intact through it
• 4:35
Speaker 1: all and you produced an incredible work ethic that allows
• 4:42
Speaker 1: the most opportunities for God to show you favor. See
• 4:47
Speaker 1: without that what you want God to do? See, you
• 4:50
Speaker 1: can have faith and be sitting at the house watching TV.
• 4:55
Speaker 1: There's nothing being produced, no opportunities for God to show
• 5:00
Speaker 1: your favor. And you got to do some things man,
• 5:04
Speaker 1: that you are uncomfortable doing or don't feel like doing,
• 5:08
Speaker 1: or something that don't have the right payoff right in
• 5:11
Speaker 1: front of your face, with the faith that it will
• 5:14
Speaker 1: payoff later on. See, too many people are working for
• 5:18
Speaker 1: the right now reward, and the right now reward is
• 5:22
Speaker 1: not how it works. Sometimes the reward is coming later
• 5:25
Speaker 1: on up the road. But the only way you can
• 5:28
Speaker 1: know that is if you got to You got to
• 5:30
Speaker 1: apply the faith and see the reason you don't know
• 5:34
Speaker 1: that that's coming like that, or you have to have
• 5:37
Speaker 1: faith to believe that it is coming. Because faith is
• 5:40
Speaker 1: the belief in things that you cannot see. That's what
• 5:46
Speaker 1: faith is. You know you're standing at let me give
• 5:49
Speaker 1: you them. You're standing at the crosswalk with a walk
• 5:52
Speaker 1: sign on it and the sign flashing on the corner.
• 5:54
Speaker 1: Don't walk, then that the signs say walk, What do
• 6:00
Speaker 1: you think your chances are making it across that street?
• 6:03
Speaker 1: Is well pretty good because guess what the signs say walk.
• 6:08
Speaker 1: You can see the other side. There's other people in
• 6:11
Speaker 1: the cross walk walking, So guess what you strike out blindly?
• 6:15
Speaker 1: It don't take a lot of faith to get across
• 6:17
  Speaker 1: that street. That's that's That's not why I'm talking to
• 6:21
Speaker 1: you about. I'm talking about the faith, the belief in
• 6:25
Speaker 1: things that you cannot see, the faith that what I'm
• 6:29
Speaker 1: doing today, I believe in my heart of heart that
• 6:34
Speaker 1: God wouldn't bring me this far to leave me. That
• 6:37
Speaker 1: God is a true and living God, that he keeps
• 6:39
Speaker 1: his promises, that later on, there's things that I'm working
• 6:42
Speaker 1: towards right now gonna pay off later on. See, too
• 6:45
Speaker 1: many people want to reward right now. See, that's not
• 6:48
Speaker 1: the exhibition of faith. If it's the right thing to do,
• 6:54
Speaker 1: if it's if it's a good thing to do, if
• 6:56
Speaker 1: it's a just thing to do, see if it's seeing
• 7:00
Speaker 1: in it it ain't God. You can just clear on
• 7:03
Speaker 1: up right there. You can stop all they wandering. If
• 7:05
Speaker 1: that's his voice talking to you, if it's the right
• 7:08
Speaker 1: thing to do, if it's sin in it. It's not
• 7:12
Speaker 1: God talking to you. Kill it. You you you can
• 7:16
Speaker 1: shut it down. You ain't got to wonder about it.
• 7:18
Speaker 1: Go down there in secret venge that ain't God. Go
• 7:21
Speaker 1: tell him off when you see him. That ain't God. Anything.
• 7:24
Speaker 1: That's God's sin in it, is not God's voice telling
• 7:27
Speaker 1: you to do it. So you can you can kill
• 7:29
Speaker 1: that conversation to date. That's how you know. But if
• 7:32
Speaker 1: you align yourself up man and you and what you're
• 7:35
Speaker 1: doing is just and right and correct and pleasing in
• 7:38
Speaker 1: the sight of God, it'll pay off for you later on.
• 7:43
  Speaker 1: And see here's here's here's the best way I can
• 7:46
Speaker 1: tell to it. Here's another one. When you're going somewhere,
• 7:52
Speaker 1: when you're when you're on the road to going somewhere,
• 7:55
Speaker 1: and you know the somewhere that you're trying to get to.
• 7:58
Speaker 1: Let's say you've set a goal of for yourself, you
• 8:00
Speaker 1: know where you want to get to, you got a
• 8:03
Speaker 1: good idea, and you own your way to going there.
• 8:07
Speaker 1: Listen to me when it gets hard, and it is
• 8:10
Speaker 1: going to get hard, when it gets difficult, and it
• 8:13
Speaker 1: is going to get difficult, when it becomes challenging, and
• 8:17
Speaker 1: it is going to become challenging when it becomes all
• 8:21
Speaker 1: three of those things. When it don't look like it's
• 8:23
Speaker 1: gonna happen, don't stop and complain so much. But see,
• 8:29
Speaker 1: I know he didn't bless me. But in the middle
• 8:31
Speaker 1: of it, man, I felt a little heavy. And you
• 8:34
Speaker 1: got to be careful when it gets hard for you,
• 8:36
Speaker 1: because you'll find yourself complaining. And when you're complaining. See,
• 8:40
Speaker 1: what you can't do is you can't complain so much
• 8:44
Speaker 1: that you forget that the place that you're trying to
• 8:48
Speaker 1: go to, you actually own your way there still. See,
• 8:53
Speaker 1: don't get caught up into complaining and then lose sight
• 8:56
Speaker 1: of your blessing that's actually happening. It to you? What really, man,
• 9:00
Speaker 1: of all the times to register a complaint to God,
• 9:04
Speaker 1: to sit up and go, hey, man, I didn't want
• 9:07
Speaker 1: wanted to ease back into this thing. Ease back in, man,
• 9:11
Speaker 1: you in It's it's a tornado world around you. You You
• 9:13
Speaker 1: ain't got time to ease back in. You got it
• 9:15
Speaker 1: going and jump back in it. It is what it is.
• 9:18
Speaker 1: To whom much is given, much is required. Always appreciate
• 9:22
Speaker 1: the blessings. Don't get so caught up into complaints that
• 9:24
Speaker 1: you lose sight of the blessings. Man. God got a
• 9:27
Speaker 1: lot for you in your life, man, but you gotta
• 9:29
Speaker 1: have them two things, y'all. You gotta take that faith
• 9:32
Speaker 1: and you got to apply a crazy work ethic to it.
• 9:37
Speaker 1: And that creates the most opportunities for God to show
• 9:41
Speaker 1: your favor. And when God starts showing your favor, man,
• 9:44
Speaker 1: all of them seeds you planted, all of that, all
• 9:47
Speaker 1: of that wheat you've been sewing, all of that hard
• 9:50
Speaker 1: work you've been put in, God will pay it off.
• 9:52
Speaker 1: And he'll pay it off in ways that you don't
• 9:54
Speaker 1: even see coming. Okay, cool, you're listening to morning show.

Speaker 1: did you get away? Oh? I dated an older woman
• 12:51
Speaker 1: when I was in high school, Okay, and went by
• 12:54
Speaker 1: a house and I was not prepared for this woman
• 12:58
Speaker 1: at all. She was twenty six seventeen, and she put
• 13:01
Speaker 1: on the neglige and went in the room. And then
• 13:04
Speaker 1: I was sitting on the couch and didn't know what
• 13:06
Speaker 1: the hell to do, really, and the kick wenting and doing.
• 13:08
Speaker 1: A man walked in. He said, hey, no brother, what's
• 13:11
Speaker 1: going on? I tid And then he went in there
• 13:13
Speaker 1: and they had an argument. He said, well, I go
• 13:15
Speaker 1: out here and see myself. Well, ain't gonna be no
• 13:17
Speaker 1: night here for you to see when you bring your ass.
• 13:19
Speaker 1: I did that because my ass is going. I jumped

Speaker 1: I m foot never touched the step. Yeah, all right,
• 13:33
Speaker 1: well you're right then, Steve, you win coming up in
• 13:35
Speaker 1: thirty two minutes after the hour, asked the CLO. The

• 13:42
Speaker 1: after this. You're listening show all right, time now for
• 13:48

• 13:51
Speaker 1: don't forget coming up at the top of the hour,
• 13:53
Speaker 1: our very special guest family member, the Reverend Al Sharpton.
• 13:57
Speaker 1: Sharpton is gonna talk out the March Washington, the fifty
• 14:01
Speaker 1: seventh anniversary. We'll talk about that coming up, all right,
• 14:05
Speaker 1: you don't want to miss it. All right, CLO, Chief
• 14:08
Speaker 1: Love Officer Steve Harvey, you're ready, let's go. This one
• 14:12
Speaker 1: is from Beanie in Nashville. Beanie says, I'm a thirty
• 14:15
Speaker 1: six year old bachelor with no children. I've been dating
• 14:18
Speaker 1: a little here and a little there, but women seem
• 14:21
Speaker 1: to be in to what a man can do for
• 14:24
Speaker 1: them financially, and they lose sight of dating for the
• 14:27
Speaker 1: purpose of getting married. I had a relationship for a
• 14:30
Speaker 1: year with a woman, and if I wasn't showing out
• 14:33
Speaker 1: money for something for her, she was pouting and saying
• 14:36
  Speaker 1: I didn't care about her. I don't have a lot
• 14:40
Speaker 1: of money to splurge like that, but I don't mind
• 14:42
Speaker 1: taking care of my girlfriend and wife someday. How can
• 14:45
Speaker 1: a regular man win like this? Come on, beanie, no, no, no,
• 14:51
Speaker 1: stop crying though, stop come on, Then regular men win
• 14:55
Speaker 1: all the time. How does a regular man win by
• 14:58
Speaker 1: being an exceptional bloom in my head? That's how you win?
• 15:02
Speaker 1: See you, you you you, You bought into the buying
• 15:06
Speaker 1: thing because you you, you're sitting up in line. That
• 15:08
Speaker 1: to be the case. What you gotta do? You gotta
• 15:10
Speaker 1: kill him with kindness. You gotta be a better gentleman,
• 15:13
Speaker 1: be a bigger, a bigger, a bigger Conversationally, you gotta
• 15:17
Speaker 1: provide a lot of stuff that women can't get from
• 15:20
Speaker 1: other dudes. Man, anybody can buy somebody something. That ain't
• 15:24
Speaker 1: the problem. Benny Man, you know you gotta put some
• 15:26
Speaker 1: more work in relationships is work, and you gotta be
• 15:29
Speaker 1: a better You gotta your picker sound like it could
• 15:32
Speaker 1: be off too now a little bit? You know your pick? Yeah?
• 15:37
Speaker 1: You know, dog? Why don't you get into some more
• 15:39
Speaker 1: conversations before you get into the relationship For you gonna
• 15:42
Speaker 1: how to buy somebody to dance women pool? The lads
• 15:47
Speaker 1: already ain't got that much money. That's what you said.
• 15:49
Speaker 1: So why don't you get into some conversations for you
• 15:51
Speaker 1: get into the relationships. That's your problem. You're diving in
• 15:54
Speaker 1: head first, winding and dine and taking people's tough and
• 15:57
Speaker 1: then now how you start it is how you finished.
• 16:00
Speaker 1: I can't get it. You can't change horses in the
• 16:01
Speaker 1: middle of the stream though, So out of his league?
• 16:04
Speaker 1: Are you saying? No, no, no, you supposed to marry
• 16:07
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you should marry us. But dog, you got
• 16:09
Speaker 1: to come in here with some You know, this is
• 16:11
Speaker 1: just how I take care of a woman. You want
• 16:13
Speaker 1: this or you want that, and she expects you to
• 16:17
Speaker 1: come in and buy her a life. Then you know,
• 16:19
Speaker 1: we got a little problem. Thank Paula, and Tampa says Paula.
• 16:29
Speaker 1: And Tampa says, I'm a fifty nine year old woman
• 16:32
Speaker 1: and I was dating a seventy year old gentleman that
• 16:34
Speaker 1: my daughter introduced me to. We hit it off and
• 16:37
Speaker 1: everything was fine, but we've never had sex. He always
• 16:42
Speaker 1: says that there was no rush. My daughters and I
• 16:45
Speaker 1: are very close, and my youngest was in town, so
• 16:48
Speaker 1: I told her about my new man. She said her
• 16:50
Speaker 1: older sister secretly dated him and it was disgusting for
• 16:54
Speaker 1: her to hook hooked me up with him. My daughter
• 16:57
Speaker 1: denied it. He said he begged my daughter to hook
• 17:00
Speaker 1: us up, and nothing indecent happened with her. I don't
• 17:03
Speaker 1: know who to believe. Why would my daughter lie? I
• 17:07
  Speaker 1: don't know, ain't my daughter don't? I don't understand why
• 17:13
Speaker 1: you wrote me without this. You got seventy old man
• 17:17
Speaker 1: never had sex, and then your younger daughter came on
• 17:19
Speaker 1: and told you that your other daughter dated him. Okay, what,
• 17:23
Speaker 1: what's what's happening? I don't know what to tell you, small, Yeah,
• 17:28
  Speaker 1: that's I don't know. I don't know why your younger
• 17:30
Speaker 1: daughter would come here and talk about she dated Even
• 17:32
Speaker 1: then the man said, nothing inappropriate to happen. And then
• 17:35
Speaker 1: you and the man ain't had sex? What? Yeah, you're
• 17:39
Speaker 1: about to sounds crazy? Wait? What what junior? Junior? Everybody
• 17:44
Speaker 1: hanging out at the nursing home. It sound like that
• 17:50
Speaker 1: seventy dude? Sound good at me because I'm sixty three.
• 17:52
Speaker 1: I'm seven years waiting now and I don't even feel
• 17:55
Speaker 1: like it. Man, you don't look, but I do wake
• 17:59
Speaker 1: up in this stuff. Be hurt now. I don't know
• 18:01
Speaker 1: how to hell. They started and you really don't act
• 18:04
Speaker 1: like it. Hell no, I ain't gonna have asked him?
• 18:07
Speaker 1: Do you know you're almost that age? Can you know?
• 18:10
Speaker 1: And my wife used to ask me a time, do
• 18:12
Speaker 1: you realize you fit now to? But she just stopped.
• 18:18
Speaker 1: Then then she she just stopped. She said because you
• 18:21
Speaker 1: And she told me the other day she said, you
• 18:24
Speaker 1: ain't gonna act like I quld ask so thank you? So?
• 18:31
Speaker 1: So why should her daughter lie? So? What are you
• 18:34
Speaker 1: saying to that? I don't know? Are you saying nothing?
• 18:36
  Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't know about this letter. I
• 18:38
Speaker 1: don't I don't know who this dude is. The question
• 18:41
Speaker 1: don't make no sense. Why would she lie? Who lie?
• 18:44
Speaker 1: By what she's thinking? Her daughter is lying. Her younger
• 18:49
Speaker 1: daughter is lying to her that her older daughter dated
• 18:51
Speaker 1: the guy. I guess she's trying to figure out. Why
• 18:53
Speaker 1: would her daughter lie to her about it? You know,
• 18:55
Speaker 1: y'all too old for this? What is line for NASA seven?
• 19:01
Speaker 1: I'm not gonna ever tell a last Yeah, all right,
• 19:09
Speaker 1: we're gonna move on here. Uh deal with you. You
• 19:12
Speaker 1: gotta deal with your daughters, all right. Christine and Philly says,
• 19:15
Speaker 1: I recently married a man that I met online and
• 19:18
Speaker 1: we got married after dating for only five months. I'm
• 19:22
Speaker 1: his third wife, so I should have taken more time
• 19:25
Speaker 1: to get to know him. Instead, I ended up married
• 19:28
Speaker 1: to a man with multiple personalities. One day he can
• 19:32
Speaker 1: be really happy and all in love, and then the
• 19:35
Speaker 1: next day he might get mad at me over something
• 19:37
Speaker 1: petty and lock me out of our bedroom. He's made
• 19:41
Speaker 1: me sleep on the couch for the last time, and
• 19:43
Speaker 1: I'm ready to call it quits. He says, this is
• 19:46
Speaker 1: all part of marriage and we're still getting to know
• 19:49
Speaker 1: each other. Should we see counseling or should I leave?
• 19:56
Speaker 1: It's time to escape? You know nothing with he'd locked
• 20:01
Speaker 1: you out the bedroom though, this ain't counseling. His ass
• 20:04
Speaker 1: need help, and you need to get out for you
• 20:08
Speaker 1: need some type of health temper. Get out. This ain't counseling.
• 20:12
Speaker 1: He has a mental disorder. You ain't. You ain't got
• 20:15
Speaker 1: time for that. But would Bob Hoolis gets aphrenic something,
• 20:19
Speaker 1: I would suggest you get out now? Let me ask
• 20:23
Speaker 1: you this step. Would you say something to her about
• 20:25
Speaker 1: marrying a man she met online and only knew she
• 20:28
Speaker 1: already know that's stupid? Yeah, yeah, I ain't got to
• 20:31
Speaker 1: tell her that, But she got caught up. Yeah, who
• 20:34
Speaker 1: think that's a good idea? Right now? Him? Nate, neither
• 20:36
Speaker 1: him or her? Yeah, all right, yeah, slow down, slow down?
• 20:43
Speaker 1: All right, thank you, cello. Great advice is always coming up. Next,
• 20:46
Speaker 1: the nephew in the building would run that prank back
• 20:48
Speaker 1: right after this you're listening. Coming up at the top
• 20:54
Speaker 1: of the hour, Reverend Al Sharpton will be our very
• 20:57
Speaker 1: special guest. He's going to tell us about today's iconic
• 21:00
Speaker 1: march on Washington fifty seven years later to the day.
• 21:06
Speaker 1: The march will take place in our nation's capital, and
• 21:08
Speaker 1: the theme is get your knee off our Next. But
• 21:12
Speaker 1: right now, before we get too serious, the nephew is
• 21:16
Speaker 1: here to make us laugh like he always does. Would
• 21:20
Speaker 1: run that prank back. What you got for us, nevs. Well,
• 21:23
Speaker 1: surely it's morning time and the need to put some
• 21:26
Speaker 1: makeup on and get ready for our days. Can you
• 21:30
Speaker 1: do my makeup? Can you come less do my makeup?
• 21:36
  Speaker 1: Let's let's let's let's let's I want to hear this.
• 21:38
Speaker 1: Let's run necat dog put a little makeup on. Hello, Hello,
• 21:43
Speaker 1: maw to Brandy police. Yes, this is Brandy, Brandy. My
• 21:47
  Speaker 1: name is Carl. I'm calling I got a you can't
• 21:50
Speaker 1: highly recommended. You actually you're you actually are? I'm sorry,
• 21:53
Speaker 1: it is it may. I don't know if I'm saying
• 21:54
Speaker 1: r as a makeup artist, makeup style, that's what you
• 21:56
Speaker 1: what do you call it? It's makeup artist. I'm a
• 21:58
Speaker 1: professional makeup artists Okay. And you work at the you
• 22:02
Speaker 1: work at the makeup counter and correct? Okay, listen, I
• 22:06
Speaker 1: gotta I got a photo shoot coming up, and I
• 22:09
Speaker 1: wanted to see about um sometime this week maybe the
• 22:12
Speaker 1: follow a week. You could actually come and I hire
• 22:15
Speaker 1: you'd actually make me up for my photo shoot. Is
• 22:18
Speaker 1: do you do a lot of photo shoots at all?
• 22:20
Speaker 1: Or you? Yes? There I should do. I've been in
• 22:22
Speaker 1: the business for ten years, so I've been around several
• 22:25
Speaker 1: photo shoots. Okay, good deal. So what's I mean? You
• 22:28
Speaker 1: have any time this week that I can actually just
• 22:30
Speaker 1: come in and we can do like a trial run
• 22:32
Speaker 1: or something. Yeah, I'll actually be here Friday for about
• 22:36
Speaker 1: six hours with Friday work for you. I'm here. I
• 22:38
Speaker 1: start at eleven. At eleven, I mean I could come
• 22:40
Speaker 1: in later, maybe like around three on Friday, if if you,
• 22:43
Speaker 1: if can you squeeze me in at that time. I
• 22:45
Speaker 1: sure can. Okay, what's what's so good? Is there a
• 22:48
Speaker 1: certain makeup for men? It worked out the same as
• 22:53
Speaker 1: for women in photo shoots. You just need some type
• 22:55
Speaker 1: of crane foundation, something to even out the skin tone,
• 22:58
Speaker 1: powder you down to take way, the oils, cover up
• 23:01
Speaker 1: any blemishes, or anything like that. It's pretty much the same.
• 23:03
Speaker 1: Of course, you don't get the whole eyeshadow and lashes
• 23:06
Speaker 1: and stuff, but right, right, right, right right, I'm not
• 23:09
Speaker 1: but I just try to, you know, just trying to
• 23:10
Speaker 1: look good on camera. Um. Let me ask you this.
• 23:14
Speaker 1: How much makeup have you done? As far as um men?
• 23:17
Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Yes, okay, I'm very comfortable
• 23:20
Speaker 1: with it. You'll be fine, trust me. That's what I
• 23:22
Speaker 1: was really worried about it, if you were going to
• 23:24
Speaker 1: be comfortable with it, because I mean, have you done
• 23:26
Speaker 1: um I'm a little conscientious about a few things, you
• 23:30
Speaker 1: know what I mean? And um, have you have you
• 23:34
Speaker 1: how many butts have you done? I'm sorry? How many
• 23:38
Speaker 1: what like like like butts? You know? How many? How
• 23:41
Speaker 1: many butts have you made up? I haven't made up
• 23:46
Speaker 1: any but like are you like you mean like asses? Yeah?
• 23:50
Speaker 1: I mean you could seem I'm actually doing a nude
• 23:53
Speaker 1: photo shoot and uh, you know, I got a couple
• 23:55
Speaker 1: of scratches and you know, some old scars on my butt,
• 23:59
Speaker 1: and I you know, I could, like you said, you know,
• 24:01
Speaker 1: I'm a little shy about you know, some of that.
• 24:02
Speaker 1: So I was you could actually hope you can actually
• 24:05
Speaker 1: make sure that those cards don't show and you know
• 24:08
Speaker 1: you said you kind of um, you know, uh make
• 24:11
Speaker 1: sure everything is doesn't look oily, you know what I mean.
• 24:14
Speaker 1: And I just need to get my own money out. Well,
• 24:17
  Speaker 1: but I I didn't when I didn't understand what you're
• 24:20
Speaker 1: talking about. I may not be the makeup art. I don't.
• 24:22
Speaker 1: I'm not, seriously, I'm not gonna do your okay, but
• 24:26
Speaker 1: I mean we're just talking about makeup though. I mean,
• 24:28
Speaker 1: you know you're talking about yeah, but I'm not about
• 24:30
Speaker 1: to put my makeup brushes that I use on people's
• 24:33
Speaker 1: faces on your ad like to tell your photographers to
• 24:36
Speaker 1: like photoshop that because okay, well that's where I'm coming
• 24:39
Speaker 1: in to see you on Friday. I want you to
• 24:41
Speaker 1: do everything and make me up there in the store
• 24:44
Speaker 1: so I can see what it looks like. I want
• 24:46
Speaker 1: to see what you were going to come into my
• 24:48
Speaker 1: job and make me do your like? What are you? What? Planted?
• 24:51
Speaker 1: Are you? Where? Did you think that was gonna work?
• 24:53
Speaker 1: You cannot come into my job. How are you gonna
• 24:55
Speaker 1: come to my job naked? Seriously? I mean well, I
• 24:58
Speaker 1: was gonna wear a robe. I'm not gonna do you know,
• 25:00
Speaker 1: walking there or not? Don't you even think about coming
• 25:03
Speaker 1: into my job? Who referred you? Who talks? You? Need
• 25:06
Speaker 1: to delete this number? Do not. I'm not about to
• 25:09
Speaker 1: get this job. I just done, Okay. I don't want
• 25:13
Speaker 1: to do with you. What is the problem with you doing?
• 25:17
Speaker 1: What is the problem? You're doing my butt and putting
• 25:19
Speaker 1: the makeup on it? Not I need to buy you
• 25:21
Speaker 1: some brushes. I buy you some brushes and you can
• 25:23
Speaker 1: take what I want you to buy me anything. I
• 25:25
Speaker 1: don't want you coming into my job. I don't want
• 25:27
Speaker 1: you calling me ever again to do any kind of work.
• 25:29
  Speaker 1: I'm coming in there and I'm now listen, I'm a
• 25:33
Speaker 1: professional makeup artist. Clearly you don't know what that means. Solational.
• 25:37
Speaker 1: Then you will take out the part that's bothering you
• 25:40
Speaker 1: and do the job. Lady, you know what I mean?
• 25:42
Speaker 1: If I want to clear I want to call you
• 25:46
Speaker 1: before I get real ignorant, I'm not about to finish
• 25:49
Speaker 1: this conversation. Do not come into my job. Do not
• 25:51
Speaker 1: call me to do your That's not gonna happen. So
• 25:54
Speaker 1: so so, I guess it's says to go around and
• 25:56
Speaker 1: let people know that Brandy is not professional because you
• 26:00
Speaker 1: can't do. My reputation is good in the streets. Boo,
• 26:03
Speaker 1: you can't go around and tell anybody that I'm not
• 26:05
Speaker 1: profession Nobody ever called me to be there. Get some
• 26:08

• 26:18
Speaker 1: I want to come in there get some money, that's
• 26:19

• 26:23
Speaker 1: you know what, I'm coming up to your store anyway
• 26:25
Speaker 1: on Friday, all right, and I'll talk to your boss.

Speaker 1: coming in you know what? How about you come up
• 26:44
Speaker 1: here right now? How can I go ahead and take
• 26:46
Speaker 1: care of the situation right now? I'm here, Now can
• 26:48
Speaker 1: you come right now? I'm up there right now with
• 26:49
Speaker 1: my robe. Well, bring bring your butt up here right now.
• 26:53
Speaker 1: We'll see if your buck gets out, I'm not doing it. Okay.
• 26:56
Speaker 1: With the bottom line, who's your manager anyway? What's she? Is?
• 26:58
Speaker 1: She there? I am the manager? Now what Okay? See
• 27:02
Speaker 1: that's what the damn problem is. You got your little
• 27:05
Speaker 1: self a little position at your job. Now you're trying
• 27:07
Speaker 1: to throw your weight around if you if a person
• 27:09
Speaker 1: wants to get their butt done, okay, Look do you
• 27:12
Speaker 1: see avatar? The people have makeup all on they butt
• 27:16
Speaker 1: all on their back and every where. Not you call them,
• 27:19
Speaker 1: you call them and ask them to do your butt.
• 27:20
Speaker 1: Don't call me. I'm hanging up. Do not call me anymore.
• 27:23
Speaker 1: They are makeup artists. What are you look? This conversation
• 27:27
Speaker 1: is over. Yeah, it's over because you know what. You
• 27:29
Speaker 1: let me tell you something. You do you know who
• 27:31
Speaker 1: you're talking to. Do you know who you're talking to?
• 27:33
Speaker 1: Do you know who you're talking to? I know who
• 27:35
Speaker 1: I'm talking to. I'm talking to Brandy, But do Brandy
• 27:38
Speaker 1: know who Brandy talking to? Clearly somebody who is ignorant. Okay,
• 27:42
Speaker 1: well let me tell you who I am. This is
• 27:46
Speaker 1: nephew taught me from the Steve Harby Morning Show. You
• 27:49
Speaker 1: just got franked by your girlfriend, Carmen. You are lie ye,
• 27:57
Speaker 1: I'll get off the phone. I'll get I do that.
• 28:03
Speaker 1: I hope nobody's listening. Just made I got you good.
• 28:07
Speaker 1: I got you good. Good with the butt? Yeah, for real,
• 28:10
Speaker 1: get you some skincare. I got one more thing. I
• 28:14
Speaker 1: gotta ask you, what is the baddest And I'm talking
• 28:16
Speaker 1: about the baddest radio show in the land, all the
• 28:20
Speaker 1: damned Steve Harvey Morning Show. Some people need face makeup.
• 28:29
Speaker 1: Some people need ass makeup. You know what, Tommy, what bad?
• 28:35
Speaker 1: There are some stretch marks out there, call some old
• 28:40
Speaker 1: mosquito bikes. There are some things that need to be
• 28:43
Speaker 1: covered up. Okay, what do you look like when you
• 28:47
Speaker 1: take them off? See you got to worry about he's
• 28:49
Speaker 1: kind of thing. All right, enough of this, Thank you, nephew.
• 28:53
Speaker 1: Thank you, nephew. Coming up at the top of the hour,
• 28:56
Speaker 1: as promised the Reverend Al Sharpton right after this. You're listening.
• 29:04
Speaker 1: Our special guest is a friend of mine, a friend
• 29:07
Speaker 1: of our show. He's family member. He's a Reverence civil
• 29:10
Speaker 1: rights activist. He's a host of MSNBC's Politics Nation and
• 29:16
Speaker 1: the founder of the National Action Network. As he promised
• 29:20
Speaker 1: at George Floyd's funeral, uh, the National Action Network has
• 29:25
Speaker 1: spearheaded a monumental new March on Washington that would take
• 29:29
Speaker 1: place today at the Lincoln Memorial. It is appropriately theme,
• 29:34
Speaker 1: get your knee off our necks, and that's the truth. Please,
• 29:38
Speaker 1: welcome to the show. Our friend, Reverend Al Sharpton, good,
• 29:48
Speaker 1: good talk to you. Listen to march today. It's gonna
• 29:50
Speaker 1: commemorate the anniversary of doctor Martin Luther King, Juniors, I
• 29:54
Speaker 1: have a dream speech in our nation's capital on August
• 29:57
Speaker 1: twenty of nineteen sixty three, exactly fifty seven years ago.
• 30:02
Speaker 1: In light of all the hate that's going on around
• 30:04
Speaker 1: in the world. Have you prepared for today's turnout today? Well,
• 30:10
Speaker 1: we prepared by telling people if they come, and many
• 30:16
Speaker 1: already here gathering, that we were going to provide everybody
• 30:21
Speaker 1: that didn't have a face mask for a face mask
• 30:24
Speaker 1: sanitized love and would take everybody's temperashire coming in, but
• 30:29
Speaker 1: thousands coming. I was amazed even last night, every hotel full.
• 30:35
Speaker 1: And as important to me, Steve and family, is that
• 30:39
Speaker 1: the families of those that have suffered are here to
• 30:42
Speaker 1: see the support and to stand right in the Lincoln
• 30:46
Speaker 1: Memorial on those steps to speak this later this morning,
• 30:50
Speaker 1: right when Mona the King stood fifty seven years ago,
• 30:53
Speaker 1: to say that they dream of a day that their folks,
• 30:57
Speaker 1: their son, their daughters didn't die for the family of
• 31:01
Speaker 1: this young man shot in the back seven times in Wisconsin,
• 31:05
Speaker 1: his father and mothers week this morning, the brothers and
• 31:09
Speaker 1: sisters of George Floyda here, the mother of Brianna Taylor
• 31:15
Speaker 1: is here, the family of the mother of Ahmed Aubrey's here.
• 31:20
Speaker 1: All of these happened this year. Unless known, we have
• 31:23
Speaker 1: Eric Gander's mother, Michael Brown's mother and father, and we
• 31:27
Speaker 1: want that photo to say that doctor King had a
• 31:31
Speaker 1: dream that is still not realized. Here those that have
• 31:35
Speaker 1: been a victim of a broken dream, we must all
• 31:39
Speaker 1: come together to make these dreams come true. So we
• 31:42
Speaker 1: don't want to just remember a speech and act like
• 31:45
Speaker 1: that was yesterday. We still have things to do today.
• 31:48
  Speaker 1: And that's what everybody's here to Scanary's family saying, we've
• 31:52
Speaker 1: got it straight out to criminal justice system. You know what, Reverend,
• 31:55
Speaker 1: I find it quite it's almost chilling fifty seven years
• 32:01
Speaker 1: ago on the day to day that we celebrate and
• 32:06
Speaker 1: commemorate this great march on Washington that this is also
• 32:12
Speaker 1: was the last day of the RNC. And this is
• 32:18
Speaker 1: really amazing because all of this stuff that you just
• 32:21
Speaker 1: mentioned that you're going to focus on, not one of
• 32:24
Speaker 1: those people, not There was not one speech on behalf
• 32:29
Speaker 1: of black Lives matter, not one speech on calming the
• 32:33
Speaker 1: divisiveness in our nation. Do you see? How do you
• 32:38
Speaker 1: see this playing out? Very well? I think it's the contrast.
• 32:42
Speaker 1: You know, you and I down these years have talked
• 32:45
Speaker 1: a lot about God. Only God could have had it
• 32:49
Speaker 1: Where the RNC was supposed to be in Shallotte, and
• 32:53
Speaker 1: it moved to Flatterer and then for whatever reason, they
• 32:57
Speaker 1: decided to move the last night to Washington too, and
• 33:01
Speaker 1: it's the night before this march, So it's almost like
• 33:04
Speaker 1: we're bringing the victims the answer what they would not
• 33:07
Speaker 1: address and we couldn't have planned that. Just like the
• 33:12
Speaker 1: one thing I shouted the pandemic, people ask me, I'll come.
• 33:16
Speaker 1: The whole world got shook with a George Floyd, I said,
• 33:20
Speaker 1: because in the middle of the pandemic, we were all
• 33:23
Speaker 1: locked down, no sports on TV, nothing but to lose,
• 33:28
Speaker 1: and we watched it to try to find out where
• 33:30
Speaker 1: we can get out the house, and people for the
• 33:33
Speaker 1: first time start seeing over and over again this man
• 33:36
Speaker 1: with the lee on their neck and a lot of
• 33:39
Speaker 1: white force has never stopped to see that, and so
• 33:42
Speaker 1: this is outrageous. That's why you see as many whites
• 33:44
Speaker 1: and blacks marching. Sometimes God can take a bad situation
• 33:48
Speaker 1: and make good come out of it if you just
• 33:51
Speaker 1: don't get you God's way, and you know something, that's
• 33:55
Speaker 1: exactly what I'm seeing because after watching this Republican National Convention,
• 34:01
Speaker 1: watching Donald Trump, find these black people. You ain't seeing
• 34:04
Speaker 1: these many black people around Donald Trump in four years.
• 34:09
Speaker 1: All of a sudden, they're just coming out of nowhere.
• 34:15
Speaker 1: I mean, it's it's alarming to me. Herschel Walker, the
• 34:19
Speaker 1: Attorney General down in Kentucky. And don't I don't think
• 34:23
Speaker 1: this brother understands the damage he's done to himself because
• 34:26
Speaker 1: now we were able to put a picture a face
• 34:30
Speaker 1: to the Attorney general that won't bring charges against these
• 34:33
Speaker 1: cops into Brianna Taylor. Man, I don't think this young
• 34:36
Speaker 1: dude realized that while he was up there talking about
• 34:38
Speaker 1: how we are to be supporting Trump. It that's got
• 34:42
Speaker 1: to explain your attitude. And I just saw so much
• 34:45
Speaker 1: about Blue Lives Matter, and every night they've had a
• 34:49
Speaker 1: different police officer, and last night they had one of
• 34:53
Speaker 1: the police, retired police captain that got killed in the protests,
• 34:58
Speaker 1: and I felt sorry for his wife. But that's the
• 35:00
Speaker 1: thing they showed. They don't show the cause of those
• 35:05
Speaker 1: protests or anything. Yeah, but they will not show it.
• 35:10
Speaker 1: And they act like we're anti police, we're anti police brutality.
• 35:14
Speaker 1: We're not again police were against police that break the law.
• 35:18
Speaker 1: They act like police have the right to shoot somebody
• 35:21
Speaker 1: in the back seven times that had no gun. Nothing.
• 35:25
Speaker 1: Now they say, well, we think he had a knife
• 35:29
Speaker 1: in car, but the cop didn't have X three vision
• 35:31
Speaker 1: to see what was in the car. He shot him.
• 35:34
Speaker 1: We ever got in the car several times. That boy
• 35:37
Speaker 1: may never walk again. Jesus, Hey revenue a hold on
• 35:41
Speaker 1: one second, Hey, everybody, we'll be right back with more
• 35:43
Speaker 1: al Shop Revenue House shop to run after this. You're listening, I, y'all,
• 35:50
Speaker 1: We're back with a very own friend of the morning show,
• 35:53
Speaker 1: Revenue Al Sharp. I had people at the funerals and
• 35:57
Speaker 1: when I did the eulogy, stand up eight minutes and
• 36:00
Speaker 1: forty six seconds. And people told me that watching on TV, said,
• 36:04
Speaker 1: you know, I stood up and after two or three minutes,
• 36:07
Speaker 1: I couldn't stand no more. How did that man have
• 36:10
Speaker 1: the strength to just press down on that man's next
• 36:13
Speaker 1: for eight minutes and forty six seconds unless he was
• 36:16
Speaker 1: full of hate? But what I mean, what gives you
• 36:19
Speaker 1: the energy to do that? Eight minutes and forty six
• 36:22
Speaker 1: seconds is a long time to be bending down on somebody.
• 36:26
Speaker 1: And that's what the kind of police we're against. We're
• 36:28
Speaker 1: not against police. The question is where are the police
• 36:32
Speaker 1: above the law? That's all we ask. They can't en
• 36:34
Speaker 1: boss the law. They're not gonna buy by the law. Wow,
• 36:39
Speaker 1: right there, let's let's stay right there for just one second.
• 36:42
Speaker 1: I'm gonna let you go because this is something I've
• 36:45
Speaker 1: been saying on the radio, and I'm happy you bought
• 36:47
Speaker 1: this up. I think the solution one of them, one
• 36:51
Speaker 1: of the solutions for this. First of all, the police
• 36:54
Speaker 1: training has to be refamed. But I just don't understand
• 37:00
Speaker 1: how you having a badge gives you the right to
• 37:06
Speaker 1: determine whether a person lives or dies today. And if
• 37:11
Speaker 1: we pay you through our taxpaying dollars to uphold the law,
• 37:15
Speaker 1: should you not also have to be answered to the
• 37:19
Speaker 1: same law that you're paid to a whold. If I
• 37:21
Speaker 1: shoot a man seven times in the back, already know
• 37:25
Speaker 1: I'm going to prison. If I choke a man to death,
• 37:29
  Speaker 1: I know I'm going to prison. If I kill a
• 37:31
Speaker 1: person that I thought had a cell phone, I'm going
• 37:34
Speaker 1: to prison and I know it. But the police, they
• 37:37
Speaker 1: don't have to live by the same laws that they're
• 37:40
Speaker 1: paged the whole until we have mandatory police sensens where
• 37:44
Speaker 1: they get sentenced the same way civilians get sentenced. I think, man,
• 37:48
Speaker 1: this is crazy. I think this is crazy. Brother. I
• 37:51
Speaker 1: know you right that bot Why we watch today with
• 37:54
Speaker 1: this George Floyd Policing and Justice Act, which says exactly
• 37:59
Speaker 1: that has already passed the House of Representatives. If senators
• 38:03
Speaker 1: got to pass the twenty senators up this year and
• 38:06
Speaker 1: they don't see the numbers today that we're gonna put
• 38:08
Speaker 1: people around the country saying, if you don't vote for
• 38:11
Speaker 1: this act, we're not voting for you. We've got to
• 38:14
Speaker 1: really do what we've got to do to protect ourselves.
• 38:17
Speaker 1: They keep talking about we need we all have a
• 38:20
Speaker 1: conversation with our children. So we need to have a
• 38:23
Speaker 1: conversation with the country. Why do we have to explain
• 38:26
Speaker 1: to our children why they treated differently. No, we need
• 38:28
Speaker 1: to explain to y'all that we need to have equal
• 38:31
Speaker 1: protection under the law. Period. In the story, Man Revenew
• 38:37
Speaker 1: absolutely best man, Thank you so much, brother love hey Man,
• 38:42
Speaker 1: thank you very much. Man, Hey, that was a Revenew
• 38:45
Speaker 1: shop and everybody, you know. The thing I enjoy about
• 38:48
Speaker 1: reveneww is he's always on point. That's right. We'll be
• 38:51
Speaker 1: back with more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show right
• 38:54
Speaker 1: after this. You're listening to show, all right, listen, how
• 39:01
Speaker 1: many more days left before voting? What is it now?
• 39:04
Speaker 1: Sixty seven days? I think it's sixty seven? Wow, I
• 39:10
Speaker 1: can't believe it. Can I can I tell these devoted
• 39:15
Speaker 1: you know what, y'all because we talk about it before
• 39:18
Speaker 1: we go on the air. In the mornings, right, we
• 39:21
Speaker 1: talked about what we saw on TV last night. We
• 39:25
Speaker 1: were talking and the Republican National Convention. It was disheartening.
• 39:31
Speaker 1: It was really really disheartening because I've never seen such
• 39:36
Speaker 1: a large group of people totally ignore the biggest issue
• 39:44
Speaker 1: outside of coronavirus in this country today. Now, the reason
• 39:49
Speaker 1: coronavirus is number one because it affects every single life,
• 39:54
Speaker 1: whether you want to or not. Now, Black Lives Matter
• 39:58
Speaker 1: is not affecting everybody's life because they on on to
• 40:00
Speaker 1: they just ignore like it's not happening. But for this
• 40:02
Speaker 1: to be an administration of a country and to not
• 40:06
Speaker 1: once acknowledge the hurt that has to be going on
• 40:10
Speaker 1: in our community over what's happening to our people. You know,
• 40:15
Speaker 1: the only person I saw even try to address it
• 40:19
Speaker 1: was Ben Carson, and then he messed it all up
• 40:24
Speaker 1: a little bit later on in his speech. I said, Wow,
• 40:27
Speaker 1: this dude is trying to get somebody to prepare attention
• 40:30
Speaker 1: to this. But the entire convention ignored us. Man. They
• 40:34
Speaker 1: ignored everything about Black Lives Matter. They have ignored everything
• 40:39
Speaker 1: about the future of US country with coronavirus, and y'all,
• 40:44
Speaker 1: we can't do this again. We've got to vote like
• 40:48
Speaker 1: our lives depend on it, because they do. It does
• 40:52
Speaker 1: and they stood up in Michelle. Obama said, we have
• 40:57
Speaker 1: to have some urgency of this coming election. We have
• 41:02
Speaker 1: to vote early. We have to plan for it. I
• 41:04
Speaker 1: keep saying that. I know it sounds crazy, but you
• 41:07
Speaker 1: got to plan for it. You gotta lay your clothes out,
• 41:10
Speaker 1: you gotta because because we do that and everything else
• 41:15
Speaker 1: that's important to us. You know, we take the time
• 41:17
Speaker 1: to plan this is very important as well. We have
• 41:20
Speaker 1: to plan for this. I just hope it's important to
• 41:23
Speaker 1: the younger generation. Well, but you know what, time especially. Yeah,
• 41:28
Speaker 1: I'm concerned about the older people too. I'm just concerned
• 41:33
Speaker 1: about everybody taking this thing seriously, man, because of the
• 41:38
Speaker 1: efforts that the Republicans are doing to suppress our vote.
• 41:43
Speaker 1: When they took all those mailboxes out, they took them
• 41:46
Speaker 1: out of out of Democratic precincts. When they took all
• 41:51
Speaker 1: those mail sorting machines out, it was to slow the
• 41:54
Speaker 1: mail down. When they condisce and shut down all those
• 41:59
Speaker 1: polling places sixteen to turn it into one that was
• 42:03
Speaker 1: to frustrate you at the polls. Yeah, man, they're doing everything,
• 42:08
Speaker 1: y'all you're right. That's been going on for generations, Steve, generations.
• 42:12
Speaker 1: They want you to think that your vote doesn't matter.
• 42:16
Speaker 1: And you know people just feel like that. Yeah, and
• 42:20
Speaker 1: that's what If your vote doesn't matter, why they trying
• 42:23
Speaker 1: so hard, Why they try so hard so you not
• 42:26
Speaker 1: to vote. You got to think about these things. They
• 42:29
Speaker 1: think about mailboxes. Yes, they're closing, Yeah, they're closing polls.
• 42:36
Speaker 1: They're doing all kinds of stuff to suppress your vote.
• 42:40
Speaker 1: You matter, your vote matters. Okay, you've got to get
• 42:44
Speaker 1: to the polls. If you have not registered. We say
• 42:47
Speaker 1: this every day, several times a day. Go to vote
• 42:51
Speaker 1: for one one dot org. Vote for one one dot org.
• 42:56
Speaker 1: You can find out where your polling places. You can
• 42:58
Speaker 1: find out when you can early vote, and wear all
• 43:02
Speaker 1: of that. Okay, you gotta do this this year. Your
• 43:05
Speaker 1: life depends on. Oh give it. Dann were said, I'm going,
• 43:08
Speaker 1: I don't care, I'm getting there. Yeah. Hey, and listen,
• 43:13
Speaker 1: and we need everybody just playing it on voting. To
• 43:16
Speaker 1: make sure all of your relatives, all of your friends,
• 43:20
Speaker 1: all of your neighbors are voting. Man, this is not
• 43:24
Speaker 1: the time. I don't care if you live in the projects.
• 43:27
Speaker 1: The suburbs, the penthouses behind gates. We have got to
• 43:32
Speaker 1: go vote for the for the regular people out here
• 43:35
Speaker 1: who these policies will affect to the point of detriment.
• 43:40
Speaker 1: We got to get to these polls. Man. That's right,
• 43:43
Speaker 1: all right. Coming up next, we're gonna switch gears here.
• 43:46
Speaker 1: Nephew Tommy is here with today's praying phone call. We'll
• 43:50
Speaker 1: get get into it right after this. You're listening. Coming
• 43:56
Speaker 1: up at the top of the hour, guys, right about
• 43:58
Speaker 1: four minutes after it's my aberry letter forward today, the
• 44:01
Speaker 1: last one of the week, the subject I wish his
• 44:05
Speaker 1: wife would leave us alone? I mean nerve? Was she doing?
• 44:14
Speaker 1: Checking on nerve? What is going on? We'll find out
• 44:19
Speaker 1: in just a minute. But first the nephew is here
• 44:22
Speaker 1: with today's prank phone call. What you got for his nev?
• 44:26
Speaker 1: I left my ring, I left my ring cat dog.
• 44:37
Speaker 1: If you would hello, I'm trying to reach a mister,
• 44:42
Speaker 1: mister missus please all right. My name is doctor. I'm
• 44:47
Speaker 1: actually trying to reach your husband, Clarence. Is he Is
• 44:50
Speaker 1: he available? I have to check? Is that reason you're colin? Well,
• 44:55
Speaker 1: I'm actually the surgeon that actually did the procedure on
• 44:58
Speaker 1: removing his gallstone. How's he doing as any complications thus far?
• 45:03
Speaker 1: Well more complications? Okay, well listen, Uh, there's a couple
• 45:08
Speaker 1: little bit of things I want to discuss with you
• 45:10
Speaker 1: guys and see if we can maybe get him rectified.
• 45:14
Speaker 1: Is he around? Oh? Actually, actually, when we actually did
• 45:23
Speaker 1: the procedure on your on your husband and removing the
• 45:25
Speaker 1: gall stones, who, I will say that there's a bit
• 45:28
Speaker 1: of a mistake made and I'm hoping that he can
• 45:30
Speaker 1: come back in so we can kind of get it rectified.
• 45:33
Speaker 1: You know, it'll be actually thirty minutes and he'll be
• 45:35
Speaker 1: in and out. But actually, when I removed the gall stones,
• 45:38
Speaker 1: and I'm very embarrassed to say that I actually left
• 45:42
Speaker 1: my wedding ring inside your huss And I understand, man,
• 45:49
Speaker 1: I say, I actually left my wedding ring inside your
• 45:52
Speaker 1: husband when I actually removed the gall stones. And I'm
• 45:54
Speaker 1: hoping that he'll come back in so I can actually
• 45:57
Speaker 1: take it out and he'll be on his way. It's
• 46:00
Speaker 1: my last bold man, let me take it. What yeah, hello, hello, hello, mister, yeah,
• 46:22
Speaker 1: how are you doing? This? Is doctor who I actually
• 46:23
Speaker 1: did the surgery on you when you were came in
• 46:26
Speaker 1: and got your gall stones removed. I remember you that.
• 46:29
Speaker 1: I will say this, mister Clarence. I actually made a
• 46:32
Speaker 1: bit of a mistake when you were here, and my apology.
• 46:34
Speaker 1: If I can actually get you come back in, man,
• 46:37
Speaker 1: I can get you taken care of. But and then
• 46:40
Speaker 1: this is just a big mistake on my part. But
• 46:42
Speaker 1: when you guys came in and I remove your stones,
• 46:44
Speaker 1: I actually left my wedding ring inside inside of me. Yes, yes, yes, sir,
• 46:50
Speaker 1: your wedding ring. Sir. I know this is crazy, but yes,
• 46:54
Speaker 1: I have truly made a mistake and want to see
• 46:56
Speaker 1: if I can get this thing rectified and get this
• 46:58
Speaker 1: thing taken out. And and I tell you, man, I've
• 47:01
Speaker 1: been without my ring and my wife is raising holy
• 47:04
Speaker 1: hell about it. Yeah, but you know something, doctor, we
• 47:06
Speaker 1: got a problem with What do you mean I mean,
• 47:09
Speaker 1: I'm about to go back to work. I really can't
• 47:11
Speaker 1: be going back into the operated room for somebody to
• 47:14
Speaker 1: take a ring out of me that they left, that
• 47:17
Speaker 1: they left. Bad mistake, you know what I'm saying. Okay,
• 47:20
Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I realize your wife might be
• 47:22
Speaker 1: upset and you need your ring, but at this point
• 47:25
Speaker 1: that ring's gonna have to stay where it is. For
• 47:26
  Speaker 1: a while. So I can't. I honestly can't allow but
• 47:29
Speaker 1: that ring to stay there another two or three days.
• 47:31
Speaker 1: I don't think you understand exactly what I'm going through.
• 47:33
Speaker 1: There's no way I can allow that. Yeah, I got
• 47:37
Speaker 1: to go back to work. But you know something, I
• 47:39
Speaker 1: mean you know, I mean, you know we're talking about
• 47:41
Speaker 1: a bad, bad, serious problem. You know we're talking about
• 47:43
Speaker 1: mal practice. I mean you know we're talking about me
• 47:45
Speaker 1: taking out more time and work when I'm ready to
• 47:47
Speaker 1: go back. I mean, you know, we're talking law suit
• 47:49
Speaker 1: all kind of stuff. Yeah, we need to get together.
• 47:52
Speaker 1: Can you hear me that? Yeah? Yeah, you need to
• 47:55
Speaker 1: come over here. Okay, my wife's upset too. I mean,
• 48:01
Speaker 1: you know I can't get back on an operating tape, sir.
• 48:04
Speaker 1: This won't take for seconds. It's actually for me to
• 48:06
Speaker 1: snip that thing and get that ring out of there.
• 48:07
Speaker 1: It won't take but a minute. I mean, you still
• 48:09
Speaker 1: have the same incisions there. I can go right back
• 48:12
Speaker 1: into what the same scar was and take that out
• 48:14
Speaker 1: and keep it moving. Go back into the same and
• 48:17
Speaker 1: you're gonna operate again. If you're cutting me over, sir,
• 48:20
Speaker 1: I promise you you won't even know I was there.
• 48:21
Speaker 1: I'll go in there and take that ring out, just
• 48:23
Speaker 1: that quick claw. Okay, but but let me ask you this. Yere,
• 48:27
Speaker 1: my wife, and my wife is about to go crazy.
• 48:28
  Speaker 1: I'm I'm pretty I'm a pretty good guy here. But
• 48:31
Speaker 1: I mean, you know you got left for ringing. Man.
• 48:33
Speaker 1: I mean, you know, do you all have mal practice insurance?
• 48:35
Speaker 1: And sir, we have plenty of insurance. You know, it's
• 48:38
Speaker 1: really more about what I'm going through at home. So
• 48:41
Speaker 1: I'm doing this for years. Yeah, pretty much here at
• 48:43
Speaker 1: this point, I mean, no one actually from the hospital
• 48:45
Speaker 1: actually knows that I'm actually calling you. Wow, you know,
• 48:49
Speaker 1: I mean, that's a big, big problem. You said something
• 48:52
Speaker 1: about mal practice. No, I didn't say anything about mal practice.
• 48:55
Speaker 1: You guys actually said that. I didn't say anything. Okay,
• 48:57
Speaker 1: now let me okay, hold on now, drs hold on.
• 49:02
Speaker 1: Uh well, now let me ask you. This's here. Every
• 49:05
Speaker 1: time I've heard of somebody leaving something inside of somebody,
• 49:07
Speaker 1: you know, it usually end up being a situation where
• 49:10
Speaker 1: it sets up infections and stuff. Well, that's that's an
• 49:13
Speaker 1: eighteen carrec goal. That's not going to infect you at all. Yeah,
• 49:16
Speaker 1: I understand what you're saying, but good grief. I mean,
• 49:19
  Speaker 1: I just I mean, I didn't even want to do
• 49:21
Speaker 1: the first surgery, but I didn't have any choice. You
• 49:23
Speaker 1: know what, I'll be honest with you. I tried to
• 49:26
Speaker 1: talk to you and be patient with you. If I
• 49:28
Speaker 1: gotta come over and put some core form up against
• 49:31
Speaker 1: your nose and knock you out in order to perform
• 49:33
Speaker 1: this procedure to get my ring, then damn it, that's
• 49:35
Speaker 1: what I gotta do. Oh, hold on that. That what
• 49:38
Speaker 1: I'm supposed to be doing. Why are you doing that?
• 49:40
Speaker 1: You hear that? Do you what he said? Yeah? Come on,
• 49:45
Speaker 1: you know I'm not gonna stand for these threats. Now.
• 49:48
Speaker 1: You know that's your problem with your ring. Now. You know,
• 49:50
Speaker 1: up until now everything was cool. Now you got a
• 49:53
Speaker 1: big problem. I tell you it's here. I'm at home
• 49:57
Speaker 1: right now. You're at home with my ring. You got
• 49:59
Speaker 1: my ring? You come getting right now? The way? No, okay,
• 50:04
  Speaker 1: now I don't. I don't have a problem coming right
• 50:06
Speaker 1: over there to get my ring because I want I
• 50:08
Speaker 1: need my ring back. Let's do it. Come on over.
• 50:10
Speaker 1: Why want we got something for you? Down? Hey, listen,
• 50:15
Speaker 1: I don't care what the both of you are doing.
• 50:17
Speaker 1: The bottom line is that you have my ring. I
• 50:19
Speaker 1: got your ring. You just told me I had it,
• 50:21
Speaker 1: then it's inside of me. Well, i's don't say, sir,
• 50:24
Speaker 1: I'm not gonna continue to go back and forth with you.
• 50:26
Speaker 1: You're not gonna continue to do anything because you come
• 50:28
Speaker 1: over here, I'm gonna kick you out. You're already threatened
• 50:31
Speaker 1: to come over here and put Plora from them and
• 50:32
Speaker 1: no locking me out to go in the side of
• 50:35
Speaker 1: my body to come over here. Doctor, got problems. I'll
• 50:37
Speaker 1: tell you what. I don't want any problems out of
• 50:39
Speaker 1: your wife or out of you. Think it's only gonna
• 50:43
Speaker 1: take thirty minutes and everybody'll be happy after that. You
• 50:45
Speaker 1: won't make it back compan down. I understand everything you say.
• 50:49
Speaker 1: I got one more thing I need to say to
• 50:50
Speaker 1: the both of you all. Are you listening to me?
• 50:52

• 53:57
Speaker 1: wish his wife would leave us alone. Dear Stephen Shirley.
• 54:04
Speaker 1: I'm a forty something single female and my boyfriend is
• 54:07
Speaker 1: sixty nine years old. When we first started dating, he
• 54:11
Speaker 1: was my sugar daddy and he paid my mortgage, my
• 54:14
Speaker 1: car note, and sent me on vacation several times a year.
• 54:18
Speaker 1: But it wasn't all of the money or the gifts
• 54:20
Speaker 1: that got me so hooked on him dot dot It
• 54:24
Speaker 1: was the sex. This man is the best I've ever had,
• 54:29
Speaker 1: and he does not need any enhancements to get aroused.
• 54:33
Speaker 1: We've been together for five years, so I was shocked
• 54:36
Speaker 1: when he carelessly left his phone at home. Recently, he
• 54:39
Speaker 1: was at my house and we were watching a movie
• 54:42
Speaker 1: when his wife called me to let me know he
• 54:44
Speaker 1: had left his phone at home. She told me that
• 54:48
Speaker 1: she hopes I was enjoying him because it would be
• 54:50
Speaker 1: the last time I was going to see him. I
• 54:53
Speaker 1: put him on the phone and he sat quietly while
• 54:56
Speaker 1: she cursed him out, and then he left. The Next day,
• 55:00
Speaker 1: his wife called to see if he was at my
• 55:02
Speaker 1: house because he told her he was going to the
• 55:04
Speaker 1: car wash. I told her he was at the car
• 55:07
Speaker 1: wash getting my lexus washed that he pays for. She
• 55:12
Speaker 1: hung up. That really got him in hot water with her,
• 55:17
Speaker 1: and he told me he couldn't see me anymore. Why
• 55:19
Speaker 1: did I have to go there with his wife because
• 55:21
Speaker 1: now she's my relationship. Messed up my relationship with him.
• 55:26
Speaker 1: They have been married for thirty eight years, so he's
• 55:29
Speaker 1: tired of her. He told me that she let herself
• 55:32
Speaker 1: go over the years and won't have sex with him,
• 55:34
Speaker 1: so why block his happiness. She's called a few more
• 55:37
Speaker 1: times to ask how long we've been together and if
• 55:40
Speaker 1: he ever said he loves me. I told her to
• 55:42
Speaker 1: leave us alone and let us be. It's been three
• 55:46
Speaker 1: weeks since I've seen him, but he still calls her
• 55:48
Speaker 1: Texas daily. Should I move on or wait for him
• 55:51
Speaker 1: to come back to me? What do you want from us? Really?
• 55:56
Speaker 1: You've been dating and having an affair with a married
• 55:59
Speaker 1: man for five years, and in your mind, regardless if
• 56:02
Speaker 1: he had a wife or kids or whatever, you've been
• 56:05
Speaker 1: having a great life with you, sugar daddy. You know,
• 56:07
Speaker 1: he pays your bills, your mortgage, your wrench or carnot,
• 56:11
Speaker 1: sends you on trips, all of that, and then here
• 56:15
Speaker 1: she comes wifey with her worrisome behind, calling, bothering you
• 56:19
Speaker 1: guys and stuff. I mean, the nerve of her right,
• 56:22
Speaker 1: they've only been married for thirty eight years. Who does
• 56:25
Speaker 1: she think she is? Oh? Does she think she is?
• 56:28
  Speaker 1: She's just the wife? I mean, really, I think that's
• 56:32
Speaker 1: your stank, disrespectful, entitled attitude. Do I have that right,
• 56:36
Speaker 1: you ask us, Yeah, you ask us, You ask us,
• 56:40
Speaker 1: should you move on or wait for him to come
• 56:42
Speaker 1: back to you? Well, it's been three weeks. He calls
• 56:46
Speaker 1: in Texas, but it doesn't sound like he's coming back,
• 56:50
Speaker 1: not anytime soon anyway. And whether he does or not,
• 56:53
  Speaker 1: I don't really care, because I just don't like how
• 56:55
Speaker 1: cold and unsympathetic you were to his wife when she called.
• 56:59
Speaker 1: I just think that was wrong of you. I mean,
• 57:01
Speaker 1: you know how the game goes. You are the side piece.
• 57:04
Speaker 1: I don't care. You've been the side piece for five years.
• 57:07
Speaker 1: So because she didn't, you know, uh, stay in her
• 57:11
Speaker 1: lane and called you and everything, you got mad and
• 57:16
Speaker 1: went in on her and then you got him in trouble,
• 57:18
Speaker 1: so you lost him. I mean I think you lost
• 57:21
Speaker 1: your man. You lost him in the Great Sex and
• 57:24
Speaker 1: all that. So that's it. I don't care, you know whatever, whatever, Steve, Okay, sure,
• 57:31
Speaker 1: I really I'm kinda with surely on this. H What
• 57:36
Speaker 1: do you want us to say? Everything in this Atlanta wrong,
• 57:40
Speaker 1: ain't no right, They ain't no right in the Aleta
• 57:44
Speaker 1: but the beginning, I'm forty single female, my boyfriend sixty
• 57:49
Speaker 1: nine right there? Who right there at thirty years. That's
• 57:54
Speaker 1: wrong at thirty years thirty thirty eight, alardy your difference.
• 58:01
Speaker 1: I almost promise you he ain't got thirty years left.
• 58:11
  Speaker 1: If I'm a gambling man, I just don't say he
• 58:16
Speaker 1: gonna get there. All right. He was your sugar daddy
• 58:21
Speaker 1: paid for everything. Then you trying to tell us what
• 58:24
Speaker 1: you got him so hooked on you was to set
• 58:27
Speaker 1: y'all been dating for five years, according to this letter.
• 58:31
Speaker 1: So he started at sixty four. He's sixty nine, all right,
• 58:35
Speaker 1: he don't use no mail enhancers whatever. Five years. Then
• 58:39
Speaker 1: he left his phone at home recently. You know why,
• 58:42
Speaker 1: because he's sixty nine. His old ass for got it.
• 58:47
Speaker 1: He drove out that damn. This is the beginning of
• 58:51
Speaker 1: where this relationship is. D oh. It starts with leaving
• 58:56
Speaker 1: the phone. Then he gonna forget what he left his car.
• 59:02
Speaker 1: Then he ain't gonna remember where you stay. Then ain't
• 59:06
Speaker 1: gonna lose and forget. His wife's name is called dementia,
• 59:10
Speaker 1: and he damned the head of there. And it starts
• 59:13
Speaker 1: with the phone. I'm just telling me now, all right, okay,
• 59:19
Speaker 1: you know you're watching the movie. Then you know he
• 59:21
Speaker 1: doesn't We've been together five years so I was shocked
• 59:26
Speaker 1: when he carelessly left his phone at home. I'm telling
• 59:29
Speaker 1: he forgotten. He was at my house y'all watching the movie.
• 59:33
Speaker 1: His wife called me to let me know he had
• 59:36
Speaker 1: left the phone at home. She told me that she
• 59:40
Speaker 1: hopens I was enjoying him, because he gonna be last
• 59:42
Speaker 1: time you seen. Then you put him on the phone.
• 59:46
Speaker 1: He said that quietly while she cussed him out. He
• 59:49
Speaker 1: took it like a man, and then he left. Next day,
• 59:54
Speaker 1: his wife called to see if he was at my
• 59:56
Speaker 1: house because he said he was going to watch the
• 59:58

Speaker 1: years difference. Then, all right, his sex is great, he boys, stuff,
• 1:00:33
Speaker 1: call payment, rit mortgage, everything, everything going good. Now this
• 1:00:38
Speaker 1: seventy started to catch up with his hands. He getting
• 1:00:41
Speaker 1: careless now, he leaving stuffy, started with leaving stuff. Then
• 1:00:46
Speaker 1: next thing you know, he's gonna be repeating on the self.
• 1:00:49
Speaker 1: It's all it's all just coming together, and I'm just
• 1:00:53
Speaker 1: letting her know that's what it's coming now. He's sitting
• 1:00:55
Speaker 1: up here, and he started with he leaving stuff. He'd
• 1:00:58
Speaker 1: left his phone at the house, y'all sitting up watching
• 1:01:01
Speaker 1: the movie. His wife called you and said, I hope
• 1:01:05
Speaker 1: you enjoyed him, because it's the last time you was
• 1:01:06
Speaker 1: gonna see you put him on the phone. He said
• 1:01:09
Speaker 1: that quietly while she cussed him out. Did he got him? Left? Now?
• 1:01:15
Speaker 1: The next day after he left, his wife called to
• 1:01:21
Speaker 1: see if he was at my house because he told

• 1:02:01
Speaker 1: and he told me he couldn't see you anymore. Why
• 1:02:04
Speaker 1: did I have to go there with his wife, because
• 1:02:06
Speaker 1: now she's messing up my relationship with him. They've been
• 1:02:09
Speaker 1: married thirty eight years, so he tied to her. He
• 1:02:11
Speaker 1: told me she left her to go. She excuse me.
• 1:02:15
Speaker 1: He told me that she left, let herself go over
• 1:02:17

• 1:08:20
Speaker 1: Or what happened was is that the Milwaukee Bucks, because
• 1:08:24
Speaker 1: of the shooting of Missus Jacob Blake and Kenosha, Wisconsin.
• 1:08:30
Speaker 1: It was right near Milwaukee, and the Milwaukee Bucks felt
• 1:08:34
Speaker 1: a lot of pressure to really really respond to it.
• 1:08:37
Speaker 1: They were pauled, obviously, as most of us does not
• 1:08:40
Speaker 1: all of us were by the shooting of yet another
• 1:08:42
Speaker 1: unawed black man, and so they wanted to speak up.
• 1:08:46
Speaker 1: Where people got a bit confused is that when the
• 1:08:49
Speaker 1: Milwaukee Bucks decided not to play, they didn't coordinate with
• 1:08:54
Speaker 1: anyone because they weren't asking anyone to join them. They
• 1:08:58
Speaker 1: felt so compelled to do something thing that the Milwaukee
• 1:09:01
Speaker 1: Bucks were going to forfeit their playoff game to the
• 1:09:06
Speaker 1: Orlando Magic just to make a statement on behalf of
• 1:09:10
Speaker 1: the shooting. What happened is Orlando found out about it, obviously,
• 1:09:16
Speaker 1: and they decided to join the Milwaukee Bucks. Houston and
• 1:09:19
Speaker 1: Oksey was supposed to play later that afternoon. They decided
• 1:09:22
Speaker 1: to join the Milwaukee Bucks. And the Lakers and the
• 1:09:24
Speaker 1: Potland Trailblazers found out about it, and they were going
• 1:09:27
Speaker 1: to be the Nightcap and they decided to join the
• 1:09:30
Speaker 1: Milwaukee Bucks. In the aftermath of all of that, there
• 1:09:33
Speaker 1: was a meeting that took place at at eight pm
• 1:09:35
Speaker 1: on Wednesday evening. Hey, Steven, a whole tight, the whole tight,
• 1:09:39
Speaker 1: right there, man, We'll be back with Mark stephen A.
• 1:09:41
Speaker 1: Smith right after this. You're listening, all right, We're back
• 1:09:48
Speaker 1: with my main man, friend and family are stephen A. Smith.
• 1:09:52
Speaker 1: A lot of players were arguing amongst one another in
• 1:09:54
Speaker 1: terms of where do we go from here? And that
• 1:09:57
Speaker 1: was the thing that frustrated the hell out of Lebron
• 1:09:59
Speaker 1: James because he he has this more than a vote
• 1:10:01
Speaker 1: movement that he's got going on, really trying to push
• 1:10:04
Speaker 1: people to the polls and to get them to make
• 1:10:07
Speaker 1: sure they vote in that their vote counts. So he's
• 1:10:10
Speaker 1: been pushing that. So he doesn't like the fact that
• 1:10:12
Speaker 1: they're appeared to be no plan, no coordinative plan of action,
• 1:10:16
Speaker 1: those things of that nature, and he ultimately ended up
• 1:10:19
Speaker 1: storming out of the room. When he stormed out of
• 1:10:21
Speaker 1: the room on Wednesday night, what happened was before he departed,
• 1:10:25
Speaker 1: all thirty teams voted on whether or not the season
• 1:10:28
Speaker 1: should continue. All but two elected to play. The two
• 1:10:32
Speaker 1: teams that said we don't want to play, we don't
• 1:10:35
Speaker 1: want to continue with the season was the Los Angeles
• 1:10:37
Speaker 1: Clippers and the Los Angeles Lakers, and their mentality is
• 1:10:42
Speaker 1: we're the two prohibitive favorite. Lebron is an iconic figure
• 1:10:45
Speaker 1: in this game. And in my estimation that Lebron and
• 1:10:48
Speaker 1: the Lakers weren't playing and Kawhi and the Clippers weren't playing,
• 1:10:52
Speaker 1: you have thereby deal legitimized the NBA playoffs, because whatever
• 1:10:56
Speaker 1: champion is crowned, nobody for one second is going to
• 1:11:00
Speaker 1: believe that that is a legit championship. The NBA recognized this,
• 1:11:05
Speaker 1: and the NBA was up in the tisney because on
• 1:11:07
Speaker 1: one end, they've already lost billions of dollars because the
• 1:11:11
Speaker 1: season of pandemics stalled. The season number two, they dedicated
• 1:11:15
Speaker 1: two hundred plus million dollars to build the bubble for
• 1:11:19
Speaker 1: these guys to play in where everything was okay and
• 1:11:23
Speaker 1: the players had collectively bargained and agreed to do this
• 1:11:26
Speaker 1: and thoroughly and more importantly, the owners were saying to me,
• 1:11:30
Speaker 1: stephen A. The league was saying to me, stephen A.
• 1:11:33
Speaker 1: Team executives were saying to me, stephen A, what are
• 1:11:36
Speaker 1: we supposed to do? We understand what they're feeling. We
• 1:11:40
Speaker 1: can't possibly put ourselves in the shoes of young black men.
• 1:11:45
Speaker 1: The flip side to it is that the league have
• 1:11:49
Speaker 1: not We've been their partners, we've been their supporters. We
• 1:11:52
Speaker 1: support Black Lives Matter, we support their positions, we support
• 1:11:55
Speaker 1: them speaking out. We've committed three hundred million dollars over
• 1:11:58
Speaker 1: the next ten years to various social justice courses. We've
• 1:12:02
Speaker 1: done all of this. Why are they taking this action
• 1:12:06
Speaker 1: when all it's going to hurt is their pockets and
• 1:12:09
Speaker 1: clearly our pockets, when we're in this together to try
• 1:12:14
Speaker 1: to overcome what's going on out here in the streets
• 1:12:17
Speaker 1: of America with law enforcement official and black men. What
• 1:12:21
Speaker 1: are we supposed to do? So that's the term all
• 1:12:24
Speaker 1: that's been going on over the last thirty six hours
• 1:12:27
Speaker 1: or so. But ultimately they met and the players agreed
• 1:12:32
Speaker 1: to go back to work and continue these playoffs. It's expected,
• 1:12:35
Speaker 1: not it's not extant, stone, it's not official yet, but
• 1:12:38
Speaker 1: the playoffs service it's scheduled, are expected to resume rather
• 1:12:41
Speaker 1: this Saturday, first game being in Toronto Raptors versus the
• 1:12:45
Speaker 1: Boston Celtics, and it we'll all go from there. I
• 1:12:48
Speaker 1: get it, now, you know what I thought? Well, I mean,
• 1:12:52
Speaker 1: we'll explain. Of course, none of us knew this, Thank
• 1:12:54
Speaker 1: you so much it. I do think that when Milwaukee,
• 1:13:00
Speaker 1: what I didn't know was Howard started. Milwaukee was willing
• 1:13:03
Speaker 1: to forfeit their game, correct, and that would have given
• 1:13:08
Speaker 1: the other team, what was it, Orlando, Yeah, yeah, series,
• 1:13:13
Speaker 1: that would have made it three too. Yeah, Orlando would
• 1:13:16
Speaker 1: have had a victory, right, yes, correct. But they joined in,
• 1:13:19
Speaker 1: which I thought was like super of the rest of
• 1:13:22
Speaker 1: the league. And I'm glad they canceled those games for
• 1:13:25
Speaker 1: the day. They made a really really valid point and
• 1:13:28
Speaker 1: I think message well taken in so now at this point,
• 1:13:32
Speaker 1: it's where do we go from here? I think we
• 1:13:34
Speaker 1: just got to get back to the business of voting
• 1:13:36
Speaker 1: right now. I was very surprised when you said that
• 1:13:39
Speaker 1: the two teams that didn't want to play with the
• 1:13:41
Speaker 1: Clippers and the Lakers, and you know, but Lebron is
• 1:13:44
Speaker 1: an activist too many and and and and a real
• 1:13:47
Speaker 1: important voice out there. So but but you know, let's
• 1:13:51
Speaker 1: let's just get people to the polls from here. Man,
• 1:13:53
Speaker 1: I thought you gotta get them to the polls. There's
• 1:13:56
Speaker 1: no question about, man, we understand how important this election is. Uh,
• 1:13:59
Speaker 1: there is no denying that. The flip side to it
• 1:14:02
Speaker 1: is that I've been on the players to make sure
• 1:14:05
Speaker 1: that you have a plan along the way. And you've
• 1:14:08
Speaker 1: asked that question, and I've asked that question. And here's
• 1:14:10
Speaker 1: the reason why. Oh boy, hold on, hold on, stephen
• 1:14:14
Speaker 1: A right there. We'll be right back. Hold on, man,
• 1:14:16
Speaker 1: we'll be right back with more stephen A. Smith right
• 1:14:20
Speaker 1: after this. You're listening, We're back. You know who's here.
• 1:14:28
Speaker 1: It's stephen A. Smith here. It is. When the NBA
• 1:14:34
Speaker 1: asked what do you want us to do? What can
• 1:14:36
Speaker 1: we do? You have to have an answer to that question.
• 1:14:40
Speaker 1: They've already dedicated three hundred million dollars, they plan on
• 1:14:44
Speaker 1: dedicating even more. Where do you want the money to go?
• 1:14:47
Speaker 1: What purpose do you want it to serve? Are you
• 1:14:50
Speaker 1: interested in addressing Congress so federal legislation can be enacted
• 1:14:55
Speaker 1: to make it a federal hate crime to for police
• 1:14:59
Speaker 1: officers to shoot unarmed the black men or unarmed the
• 1:15:02
Speaker 1: men period? What else do you want do you want
• 1:15:05
Speaker 1: us to address the state legislature? Do you want it
• 1:15:07
Speaker 1: to adjust to address local officials? What exactly is it
• 1:15:12
Speaker 1: that you want done? Because you have to have a plan,
• 1:15:15
Speaker 1: and then when you're the owners, we also have to
• 1:15:17
Speaker 1: appreciate the fact that this is a very very fair
• 1:15:20
Speaker 1: question to ask. We also have to understand that we
• 1:15:23
Speaker 1: can't disseminate a message that all police officers are bad.
• 1:15:27
Speaker 1: We just have to encourage those police officers who are
• 1:15:30
Speaker 1: fulfilling their duties to protect and serve, to hold the
• 1:15:33
Speaker 1: role of officers accountable, and assist in holding the role
• 1:15:36
Speaker 1: of officers accountable. So if you do that kind of stuff,
• 1:15:40
Speaker 1: that's what it comes down to for me. And the
• 1:15:42
Speaker 1: other thing is is that again, I don't know of
• 1:15:45
Speaker 1: any black movement that has never involved economic empowerment chess
• 1:15:51
Speaker 1: instead of checks sometimes, and unfortunately we don't do that
• 1:15:54
Speaker 1: enough as a community, and that is what bothers me,
• 1:15:57
Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. Steven A. Smith well said, stephen A. Smith,
• 1:16:02
Speaker 1: We love you boy. Appreciation of y'all. Y'all take it
• 1:16:04
Speaker 1: all right, coming up more of the Steve Harvey Morning
• 1:16:07
Speaker 1: Show right after this. You're listening, all right, stephen A.
• 1:16:13
Speaker 1: You can pull back to curtain. The light bulbs is on.
• 1:16:16
Speaker 1: We know what's happening. Now, tell us a little bit more, man,
• 1:16:20
Speaker 1: You do understand that they would have the players would
• 1:16:22
Speaker 1: have been in violation of the collective bargaining agreement in
• 1:16:25
Speaker 1: the event that these games not continued, because there's nowhere
• 1:16:29
Speaker 1: to collective bargaining agreement that says you should stop play
• 1:16:33
Speaker 1: because of social injustice. A police officer killing an unarmed
• 1:16:40
Speaker 1: black man is not the responsibility of the National Basketball
• 1:16:44
Speaker 1: Association if that was a reason, or any kind of
• 1:16:48
Speaker 1: social injustice has taken place outside that umbrella, if that's
• 1:16:52
Speaker 1: all it takes for you to postpone or dare I say,
• 1:16:56
Speaker 1: cancel the season, then the NBA owners were arguing, we
• 1:17:00
Speaker 1: can reach all the agreements in the world, But a
• 1:17:03
Speaker 1: black man could get shot in November for while being
• 1:17:06
Speaker 1: unarmed and cuffed by a police officer. You're trying to
• 1:17:09
Speaker 1: tell me we have to worry about our season being canceled.
• 1:17:11
Speaker 1: Then players have to be ready to answer questions like that,
• 1:17:16
Speaker 1: particularly when you're in the throne of an eleven plus
• 1:17:20
Speaker 1: billion dollars agreement with owners who all have lost collectively
• 1:17:26
Speaker 1: have lost an excess of two billion, and counting the
• 1:17:29
Speaker 1: players themselves. The players themselves have lost hundreds of millions
• 1:17:33
Speaker 1: of dollars already, and had they elected not to go
• 1:17:36
Speaker 1: back and play, they would have lost hundreds of millions
• 1:17:39
Speaker 1: more because the owners would have came to them and said,
• 1:17:42
Speaker 1: these are losses we've accrued. This is what we project
• 1:17:46
Speaker 1: we will lose next season in light of your actions,
• 1:17:49
Speaker 1: and as a result, since we are partners, you share
• 1:17:52
Speaker 1: in this loss. It is a fifty fifty split of
• 1:17:56
Speaker 1: basketball related income. We want our money and that's what
• 1:17:59
Speaker 1: the players we're facing. Hey, what about it. I don't
• 1:18:05
Speaker 1: respect what they did, as we respect where they're coming from.
• 1:18:12
Speaker 1: Of course we do, and by the way we support them.
• 1:18:15
Speaker 1: I don't think any black person should fail to support
• 1:18:18
Speaker 1: them because they're fighting for others the reality of the
• 1:18:21
Speaker 1: situation as any of us can get pulled over by
• 1:18:23
Speaker 1: law enforcement officials and find out self shot. But while
• 1:18:26
Speaker 1: we do so, it's also important that everybody right now,
• 1:18:29
Speaker 1: everybody ain't Steve, and everybody ain't Steve hawks. The average
• 1:18:32
Speaker 1: joe out there does not make up one percent of
• 1:18:35
Speaker 1: the population. And as a result of understanding that, we
• 1:18:38
Speaker 1: also have to understand that we can't disseminate a message
• 1:18:41
Speaker 1: that all police officers are bad. Okay, so they're all
• 1:18:45
Speaker 1: black police officers, they are all that team no police officers,
• 1:18:48
Speaker 1: they are all white police officers, So you can't castigate everybody.
• 1:18:52
Speaker 1: We just have to encourage those police officers who are
• 1:18:55
Speaker 1: fulfilling their duties to protect and serve, to hold the
• 1:18:58
Speaker 1: rogue officers honible and assist in holding the role of
• 1:19:02
Speaker 1: offices accountable. So if you do that kind of stuff,
• 1:19:05
Speaker 1: that's that's what it comes down to for me, ladies
• 1:19:08
Speaker 1: and gentlemen. Steven A. Smith, thank you, Stephen A. Coming
• 1:19:12
Speaker 1: up our last break of the day and some closing remarks.
• 1:19:18
Speaker 1: Break of the day and some closing remarks from the
• 1:19:21
Speaker 1: one and only Steve Harvey. At forty nine minutes after
• 1:19:24
Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to all right, Steve, here
• 1:19:30
Speaker 1: we are last break of the day, last break of
• 1:19:33
Speaker 1: the day again, sixty seven days now until the November
• 1:19:37
Speaker 1: third election. But by November third, we already we already
• 1:19:42
Speaker 1: want to have voted. Okay, yeah, our votes in by
• 1:19:50
Speaker 1: that time. Okay, yeah, but go to vote for one
• 1:19:53
Speaker 1: one dot org, get registered, find out where you can
• 1:19:56
Speaker 1: early vote, and you know, wait it out, wait your part. Yeah,
• 1:20:02
Speaker 1: come on, you were about to lose your job. Get
• 1:20:06
Speaker 1: this dance stance back off the boxes. Get all that.
• 1:20:11
Speaker 1: I'm gonna need you to get all that, y'all a
• 1:20:13
Speaker 1: while to get him out of there, though, y'all know that.
• 1:20:15
Speaker 1: And I agree with you, Tommy, I think he gonna yeah,
• 1:20:20
Speaker 1: like a kid in a grocery store. But when you're
• 1:20:23
Speaker 1: gonna find out that the US military guy more power
• 1:20:25
Speaker 1: than you think? Wait, did it send the National Guard
• 1:20:29
Speaker 1: for years? I love it. I love it, man. Yeah,
• 1:20:36
Speaker 1: that was gonna happen. Yeah, but don't nless. We can't
• 1:20:39
Speaker 1: get complacent, don't underestimate anything. Just do your part and
• 1:20:43
Speaker 1: get out and vote. Please, and take some people with you,
• 1:20:45
Speaker 1: like we were talking earlier, take some people with you
• 1:20:48
Speaker 1: to the polls. Yeah, you're ready, you're ready on Yeah.
• 1:20:56
Speaker 1: I want to say something and that I've been saying,
• 1:21:00
Speaker 1: But I have something. Since we like to watch movies
• 1:21:05
Speaker 1: and stuff, I would like for everybody on Netflix this weekend,
• 1:21:12
Speaker 1: I would like for you to meet this thing on
• 1:21:14
Speaker 1: Netflix called Meet the Trumps From Immigrant to President. It's
• 1:21:21
Speaker 1: a special on Netflix called Meet the Trumps From Immigrants
• 1:21:28
Speaker 1: to President. I want you to watch this special. So
• 1:21:35
Speaker 1: this is really really important for everybody to watch this special.
• 1:21:40
Speaker 1: But if you are a minority, when you see this,
• 1:21:47
Speaker 1: if you can tell me that this specialist a lie,
• 1:21:52
Speaker 1: you can vote for Donald Trump. But if you can
• 1:21:57
Speaker 1: watch this special on Netmix Netflix Trumps from Immigrants to
• 1:22:02
Speaker 1: President and you can see where they can back up
• 1:22:07
Speaker 1: what they're saying, and you can still vote for him,
• 1:22:10
Speaker 1: something's wrong with you. So I'm asking everybody, since you
• 1:22:15
Speaker 1: like watching stuff and most of us are still quarantine
• 1:22:18
Speaker 1: and playing practice and social distancing, just watch it on Netflix.
• 1:22:23
Speaker 1: I rest my case. I am trying to find every
• 1:22:28
Speaker 1: way to get people to get to these polls because
• 1:22:35
Speaker 1: I do not want you to miss the significance of
• 1:22:39
Speaker 1: this election. This election, the way we showed up for
• 1:22:44
Speaker 1: Barack Obama. We really need that type of turnout. Man.
• 1:22:50
Speaker 1: I don't know if we can get it, but I
• 1:22:54
Speaker 1: think we can get really, really close. But the numbers
• 1:23:00
Speaker 1: that did not vote last time with Hillary Clinton against him,
• 1:23:05
Speaker 1: that's unacceptable. What happened in Philly, what happened in Michigan,
• 1:23:11
Speaker 1: what happened in Wisconsin, what happened in Florida, what happened
• 1:23:14
Speaker 1: in Georgia. It cannot happen again. This is a very
• 1:23:19
Speaker 1: very important election. People. It's important for the common man.
• 1:23:24
Speaker 1: It's important for the working man, working person, working woman.
• 1:23:29
Speaker 1: It's important for those who are affected by policy, which
• 1:23:34
Speaker 1: is ninety five percent of the country. You have to vote.
• 1:23:40
Speaker 1: You have to get in there and stop this foolishness
• 1:23:44
Speaker 1: that's going on. I was so sick of the Republican
• 1:23:48
Speaker 1: National Convention trying to show all these black people like
• 1:23:54
Speaker 1: they've been there the whole time, and if you look
• 1:23:57
Speaker 1: in the scope of thing, it wasn't many at all.
• 1:24:00
Speaker 1: It's just where, all of a sudden did they come from. Now.
• 1:24:05
Speaker 1: I felt such a pain for the family that lost
• 1:24:10
Speaker 1: their father, who was a retired police officer that went
• 1:24:12
Speaker 1: down to the store in Saint Louis to go and
• 1:24:15
Speaker 1: look on their friends store. I felt so much pain
• 1:24:18
Speaker 1: for that family. I really really did. That was tragic
• 1:24:22
Speaker 1: what happened. It really really was, because that family didn't
• 1:24:28
Speaker 1: deserve that to happen. But what I also watched was
• 1:24:34
Speaker 1: how they made it all about the policemen. They made
• 1:24:39
Speaker 1: it all about themselves, and they made it all about
• 1:24:43
Speaker 1: that flag, and they turned all of the protesters, They
• 1:24:49
Speaker 1: turned all of them into rioters, looters, and unlaw abiding citizens.
• 1:24:55
Speaker 1: They never mentioned the peaceful protests and what had all
• 1:25:00
Speaker 1: the people in the streets in the beginning. It is
• 1:25:06
Speaker 1: sad man the way this Republican National Convention was run,
• 1:25:10
Speaker 1: how they ignored the depths, all the families that have
• 1:25:13
Speaker 1: been affected, one hundred and eighty thousand people in this
• 1:25:16
Speaker 1: country dead, and they kept saying his quick response to
• 1:25:20
Speaker 1: coronavirus was the slower's response of any nation, Which is
• 1:25:24
Speaker 1: why we're in the position we're in today. His lack
• 1:25:27
Speaker 1: of leadership and not having mandatory shutdowns and having some
• 1:25:31
Speaker 1: plowing form of plan from the government. That's what we
• 1:25:34
Speaker 1: should do. That's why we're in the position we're in. Folks.
• 1:25:38
Speaker 1: We have to vote, we have to get to the polls,
• 1:25:41
Speaker 1: and we have to prove the one way for show
• 1:25:44
Speaker 1: that they'll get the message that black lives do matter.
