- 1:49Speaker 3: Looking come come out?
- 1:59Speaker 1: You think that I sure will. Good morning everybody. You
- 2:05Speaker 1: are listening to the voice one and only Steve Harvey
- 2:09Speaker 1: got a radio show. Come on, y'all. I said that
- 2:13Speaker 1: a little bit wrong this morning, but I'm tired. I
- 2:15Speaker 1: just came out to gim I'm a little out of
- 2:17Speaker 1: sorts right now, but it's okay. I'll pull it together.
- 2:20Speaker 1: But let me tell you something, man, I got a
- 2:23Speaker 1: clear cut message for you today. I really do you know.
- 2:27Speaker 1: As I've gotten older, I've began to take some supplements.
- 2:35Speaker 1: And supplements are to help your body in things that
- 2:41Speaker 1: it doesn't produce as much as it used to. Supplements
- 2:49Speaker 1: are designed to help you replenish what's been depleted in
- 2:56Speaker 1: your body as supplements. Now, now, people, I can tell
- 3:02Speaker 1: you can speak a lot more aggressively and a lot
- 3:05Speaker 1: more knowledgeable on this subject. But just giving you just
- 3:09Speaker 1: a brief overview of my understanding of it. Now, if
- 3:15Speaker 1: you've been living your life for a while, supplements are
- 3:20Speaker 1: necessary for most of us now. Also, if you've been
- 3:29Speaker 1: living your life for a while spiritually, you may need
- 3:36Speaker 1: some supplements because you've just been at it for a while.
- 3:42Speaker 1: You done got wolled down a little bit. You're tied.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Some people around you ain't changing. Some people around you draining.
- 3:51Speaker 1: It's just life just keeps on coming. Life don't ever
- 3:55Speaker 1: get no easier. It just you become more knowledgeable about
- 3:59Speaker 1: how to handle it. It does not get any either easier.
- 4:02Speaker 1: You continue to lose love ones, you continue to have
- 4:06Speaker 1: to confront the challenges. It's just that over course of
- 4:09Speaker 1: time you become experienced and you can handle them better.
- 4:13Speaker 1: But life don't get no easier. But spiritually you get
- 4:19Speaker 1: a little bit worn down. Well, you need some spiritual
- 4:22Speaker 1: supplements too. And I'm just gonna flat out tell you,
- 4:28Speaker 1: the more God that you can replenish yourself with, the
- 4:34Speaker 1: higher the dosage of God that you are willing to
- 4:38Speaker 1: put into your spiritual self, the possibilities then become limitless.
- 4:49Speaker 1: You actually have the ability to make a conscious decision
- 4:53Speaker 1: to supplement your body, and you have a conscious decision
- 4:58Speaker 1: to supplement your spirit. You can do both. So what
- 5:04Speaker 1: I did was, I could just tell you what I did.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I was taking all these supplements. I started taking supplements
- 5:10Speaker 1: while I was about forty five. I think that's when
- 5:12Speaker 1: I began. I was thinking about it one day and
- 5:17Speaker 1: I just went, wow, Man. I started talking to some
- 5:20Speaker 1: knowledgeable people. I found out I needed these things. But
- 5:23Speaker 1: then spiritually, man, I started supplementing myself too. I started
- 5:26Speaker 1: praying some more. I started trying to gain a little
- 5:30Speaker 1: bit more knowledge and wisdom and understanding from scriptures and
- 5:34Speaker 1: just try to make sense of all of it, you know,
- 5:38Speaker 1: just make a little bit more sense out of my life,
- 5:41Speaker 1: make sure that I was on the right path. As
- 5:44Speaker 1: a matter of fact, get on the right path, find
- 5:47Speaker 1: out my real purpose and my mission in life. And
- 5:50Speaker 1: nobody can do that for you. That's something that you
- 5:52Speaker 1: have to want to do. But I started supplementing my
- 5:56Speaker 1: spiritual side of my life and supplementing my body. Now
- 6:00Speaker 1: I happen to be right now about in the best
- 6:04Speaker 1: shape I've ever been in. Technically, I can assure you
- 6:09Speaker 1: though I am in the best shape spiritually, I have
- 6:13Speaker 1: ever been in. Now my body has looked better, it
- 6:17Speaker 1: really has. I mean, come on now, and where I
- 6:21Speaker 1: am in life, at the stage with the years I've
- 6:23Speaker 1: been walking this earth. Man, I'm cool, but spiritually I'm
- 6:28Speaker 1: in the best shape I've ever been in. And what's
- 6:31Speaker 1: done for me, y'all is it's gave me a peace
- 6:34Speaker 1: and a calmness. You know it used to be, man,
- 6:37Speaker 1: I used to fight so hard against people who attack me. Now, Man,
- 6:42Speaker 1: it ain't that serious to me because now I have
- 6:44Speaker 1: a full understanding that if I come under attack, that
- 6:48Speaker 1: God is with me, because that's a promise he made.
- 6:52Speaker 1: That's Isaiah fifty four seventeen. That's any weapon formed against you,
- 6:58Speaker 1: any weapon formed against you, you shall not prosper. You can't.
- 7:02Speaker 1: You can't come and get me. I'm not here for
- 7:06Speaker 1: you to take down because you didn't put me here.
- 7:10Speaker 1: So why would I feel a person bringing me down
- 7:13Speaker 1: when they're not the reason that I'm here. So when
- 7:16Speaker 1: you attack me, you have to be careful because I
- 7:20Speaker 1: ain't ever by myself. I formed a relationship with the
- 7:25Speaker 1: most high that I can rely on for protection, for coverage,
- 7:30Speaker 1: and for peace. A lot of times when things used
- 7:33Speaker 1: to stress me out how to run this, how to
- 7:36Speaker 1: handle this, how to deal with that. You know, fame
- 7:39Speaker 1: is rough man, and then you put that together with
- 7:41Speaker 1: some business, and you put that together with your family.
- 7:44Speaker 1: You got a lot of stuff you're trying to tend to.
- 7:46Speaker 1: I have a peace of mind about it now because
- 7:50Speaker 1: I have someone who provides me with a sense of
- 7:54Speaker 1: understanding and calmness that lets me know that this too
- 7:58Speaker 1: shall pass. That it ain't just a saying that I
- 8:01Speaker 1: heard old people say that. It ain't just something my
- 8:04Speaker 1: mama used to tell me. It's something that can really
- 8:07Speaker 1: happen once you get in understanding, this too shall pass.
- 8:11Speaker 1: This is just another piece of life that you are
- 8:14Speaker 1: now better equipped to handle. I'm telling you what's done
- 8:18Speaker 1: for me. Millions of people out there hear me, man
- 8:22Speaker 1: has done the same thing for them. I'm telling it
- 8:25Speaker 1: new to some people, but it's some people that show
- 8:28Speaker 1: enough understand what I'm saying. And then if you have
- 8:31Speaker 1: known this but kind of forgot it, it's time for
- 8:34Speaker 1: some supplements. So when you get like that, and now
- 8:39Speaker 1: you find yourself in a situation with a disease or something,
- 8:43Speaker 1: you gotta do something. Nah, you gotta start juicing all
- 8:47Speaker 1: your greens. You gotta start detoxing your body. You gotta
- 8:50Speaker 1: start purifying the system. See, the human body has always
- 8:55Speaker 1: had a way to repair itself if you just give
- 8:57Speaker 1: it a chance. Your mind has always had a chance
- 9:01Speaker 1: to repair itself if you give it a chance, and
- 9:04Speaker 1: your spirit always has a chance to repair itself, if
- 9:09Speaker 1: you give it a chance. It's the only way I
- 9:13Speaker 1: can maintain at this level, and it's the only way
- 9:16Speaker 1: I have any chance of going further. I have to
- 9:20Speaker 1: increase my dosage of spiritual supplements. I got to talk
- 9:26Speaker 1: to God a little bit more. I got to pray
- 9:29Speaker 1: a little bit more. I got to understand his word
- 9:33Speaker 1: a little bit more. That's all I'm telling you. Man,
- 9:36Speaker 1: If you do that, if you just pray more, if
- 9:39Speaker 1: you just studied a little bit more, man, just try
- 9:42Speaker 1: to get and understanding, ask him to help you understand.
- 9:45Speaker 1: It will open up the possibilities of your life into
- 9:50Speaker 1: a realm you never could have imagined. I'm telling you
- 9:54Speaker 1: that's real.
- 9:55Speaker 5: Okay, you're listening to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, let me have your attention. Please,
- 10:08Speaker 1: it's here again. It has arrived more importantly you in it.
- 10:13Speaker 1: It's called today, It's called the present. I think they
- 10:18Speaker 1: call it the present because it's a gift from God.
- 10:20Speaker 1: It's a new opportunity we all been invited in. Man,
- 10:24Speaker 1: you gotta take advantage of this. What a blessing it
- 10:26Speaker 1: is to be alive today. I didn't do it properly
- 10:29Speaker 1: this morning. I didn't stop and thank God this morning
- 10:31Speaker 1: like I was supposed to. Something happened really as soon
- 10:35Speaker 1: as I woke up, and I had to deal with it.
- 10:37Speaker 1: But right now I'm saying, thank you God. I show
- 10:40Speaker 1: appreciate this man. I appreciate this life. I appreciate the
- 10:43Speaker 1: measure of health that I have. Thank you for my family.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Thank you for your wings of protection. Thank you for
- 10:50Speaker 1: honoring me. Thank you for giving me grace and mercy.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Thank you for everything you do for me. I don't
- 10:56Speaker 1: have enough time on this show to tell y'all what

- 11:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah I did. I did forget. Something happened, phone ring,
- 11:34Speaker 1: and I had to deal with some stuff and got
- 11:36Speaker 1: up and brush my teeth, was dealing with it, and
- 11:38Speaker 1: next thing you know, I'm on the ass saying, hey,
- 11:40Speaker 1: you gotta be grateful. Hey, you ain't. Yeah, you know.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I was sitting up been telling everybody about how good days,

- 12:13Speaker 1: gonna be hotter than this.
- 12:18Speaker 5: So would you rather be hot or cold? Which one?
- 12:22Speaker 5: Too hot?
- 12:23Speaker 1: Hot?

- 14:53Speaker 1: Good evening to you, ma'am.
- 14:54Speaker 7: I don't mean to be giving you a call this
- 14:55Speaker 7: late in the evening, but I am the new youth
- 14:59Speaker 7: minister I have. But uh, my name is Sean Williams
- 15:02Speaker 7: over at Missionary Baptist Church which mine is.
- 15:04Speaker 12: Going which youth Minnesota. What happened?
- 15:08Speaker 1: Uh, he's no longer with the church anymore?
- 15:11Speaker 3: Man?
- 15:11Speaker 12: No, oh my, now, well.
- 15:15Speaker 1: I'm not at liberty to speak upon that.
- 15:18Speaker 7: But but what I was doing is getting around and
- 15:20Speaker 7: making sure I met everyone because I haven't met everyone yet,
- 15:24Speaker 7: and I wanted to reach out to.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Everyone at the church.
- 15:29Speaker 7: But listen, let me let me get down to some
- 15:31Speaker 7: more business, because I've I've spoken with the pastor.
- 15:35Speaker 12: Uh we spoke bishop.
- 15:40Speaker 7: Bishop, Okay, I spoke with him on yesterday, and we
- 15:46Speaker 7: have narrowed some things down of a few changes we're
- 15:49Speaker 7: going to be making at the church, and what we
- 15:51Speaker 7: want to do is one of the major subjects that
- 15:54Speaker 7: have come up, sister, is that we're wanting you, if
- 15:58Speaker 7: at all possible, and the deacons we're in on this
- 16:01Speaker 7: meeting as well, but wanting you to change your attitude
- 16:05Speaker 7: when people are coming in and you're seating them. From
- 16:07Speaker 7: my understanding, it's gotten to the point where they think
- 16:09Speaker 7: you're wait wait.
- 16:10Speaker 12: Wait, wait, wait, wait wait a minute wait, I had
- 16:13Speaker 12: a meeting on me.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Well, it wasn't a meeting.
- 16:16Speaker 12: Listen here, I've been ushering on that usher board for
- 16:20Speaker 12: forty seven years. I am the singor usher on that
- 16:24Speaker 12: uncher board, and I've been trying to be nuts about it.
- 16:27Speaker 12: But I don't understand how y'all don't have a meeting
- 16:30Speaker 12: without me. First of all, but now you won't call
- 16:34Speaker 12: here and tell me that you won't have you having
- 16:36Speaker 12: a meeting on me about me being nice, always nice.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Well, ma'am, that doesn't seem.
- 16:42Speaker 7: To be the problem with that son twenty seven.
- 16:46Speaker 12: Manna some boy to call me, don't make no.
- 16:52Speaker 3: What is it?
- 16:53Speaker 1: Well?
- 16:53Speaker 7: What that's actually my call, ma'am, is that maybe we
- 16:56Speaker 7: figured if I would call and speak with you about
- 16:58Speaker 7: the matter, that maybe we can get to some type
- 17:01Speaker 7: of uh rectifying this situation the.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Where we can.
- 17:05Speaker 12: We're gonna rectify here. I'm gonna rectify you calling me
- 17:09Speaker 12: this time of night, tell my some meat. This don't
- 17:11Speaker 12: make no time. And I don't appressionate you calling me
- 17:15Speaker 12: any time of night, but away, Bishop, I need to
- 17:18Speaker 12: speak the bishop.
- 17:19Speaker 1: Bishops.
- 17:22Speaker 12: I've been at this church for forty seven years. I've
- 17:24Speaker 12: been saying, oh, my life, this don't make no type
- 17:26Speaker 12: of sense. You calling me here with this mess. Now,
- 17:29Speaker 12: this of gonna make me cuss. I'm trying to be
- 17:32Speaker 12: a question, but y'all not gonna lost me be a Christian.
- 17:35Speaker 12: She's just gonna just gonna agitate me with this mess
- 17:38Speaker 12: telling me about something.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Be nice.
- 17:40Speaker 7: Well man, that sir, that they're having problems when you're
- 17:43Speaker 7: seeding the people, and that's all that we're trying to
- 17:45Speaker 7: get rectified.
- 17:46Speaker 12: People don't want to sit down they want to go
- 17:48Speaker 12: over here, they want to go over there, they want
- 17:50Speaker 12: to have the children run a to and throw It's
- 17:52Speaker 12: like a bunch of demons while he's just bucking around
- 17:55Speaker 12: in the truch like they ain't got no sense. And
- 17:57Speaker 12: I'm not gonna have it in my section. My section
- 17:59Speaker 12: is going be strife, and.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I understand it.
- 18:02Speaker 7: Let you know what, sister, I think if we did this,
- 18:05Speaker 7: if you would do me a favor and hold your phone,
- 18:07Speaker 7: and if you would just bow your head right now
- 18:10Speaker 7: for me, maybe we can come to to get to
- 18:13Speaker 7: get the man up.
- 18:14Speaker 12: What am I my head? If if we can flows
- 18:20Speaker 12: as clean as hospital coffee, it don't make no trap
- 18:23Speaker 12: be about what I buy my head.
- 18:25Speaker 7: If you could, maybe if you could close your eyes, sister, sister,
- 18:29Speaker 7: I want.
- 18:30Speaker 12: I said, you called me and woke me up out
- 18:32Speaker 12: of my fleet with this mess. Come on, come meet.
- 18:35Speaker 12: I am very an it as this and I don't
- 18:36Speaker 12: appreciate it, and I'm gonna tell you right now, I'm gonna
- 18:38Speaker 12: speak to this now.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Father.
- 18:40Speaker 7: We asked that you look down upon sust We asked
- 18:43Speaker 7: that you look down upon her right now, right now,
- 18:47Speaker 7: asking that you put a smile on her face. On
- 18:49Speaker 7: Sunday morning, asking that you put some joy in her
- 18:53Speaker 7: heart on Sunday morning, that you draw all the pain
- 18:56Speaker 7: that she in, the anguish that she might be going through,
- 18:59Speaker 7: what the demon there is inside.
- 19:02Speaker 1: We asked that you draw that demon out. We asked
- 19:04Speaker 1: that you poured that demon away from sister. Right now.
- 19:09Speaker 1: Any of your name, We asked all of these.
- 19:11Speaker 12: Blessings to come, because I don't appreciate this boy. I
- 19:14Speaker 12: don't even know who you is. All of my what
- 19:16Speaker 12: is you?
- 19:16Speaker 4: Number?
- 19:17Speaker 7: Pastor gave me the number one and asked me to
- 19:20Speaker 7: call I am like I said, I'm Sean Williams.
- 19:21Speaker 1: We haven't met yet, and I am the.
- 19:23Speaker 12: New You know he don't he don't act that way.
- 19:26Speaker 12: And if Bishop, for the third time, I have told
- 19:29Speaker 12: your boy, Bishop, be respectful of the folks.
- 19:31Speaker 1: See that's what miss Let me let me let me
- 19:34Speaker 1: say this right.
- 19:35Speaker 7: Here's sister, and maybe this will shed some light on things.
- 19:39Speaker 1: A little bit.
- 19:40Speaker 12: Clear up, I'm trying to listen to you.

- 22:50Speaker 6: me around his male friends. I'm twelve years older than
- 22:53Speaker 6: my husband, and the jokes often crossed the line. Why
- 22:57Speaker 6: does he think it's so funny to talk about me?
- 23:01Speaker 1: Well, you could make him stop some jokes about him.
- 23:07Speaker 5: To in front of her girlfriends or his friends.
- 23:10Speaker 1: In front of his friends, he's not gonna be able
- 23:13Speaker 1: to like what. Well, I might be hot, but it

- 23:44Speaker 6: Moving on to Alice in Wilmington, Alice writes, I'm almost
- 23:50Speaker 6: sixty years old and I'm still sexually active, but that's
- 23:53Speaker 6: all these old men think about. I would love to
- 23:57Speaker 6: go on a few dates before we jump in bed.
- 24:00Speaker 6: Would also love to get married again. Where do I
- 24:02Speaker 6: go to meet my future husband? Steve, you can't tell
- 24:08Speaker 6: you that. I can't tell you that a direct question.
- 24:14Speaker 1: You're almost sixty, I'm still sexually active. That ain't no news.
- 24:21Speaker 1: There's a lot of people anybody, anybody gave up at
- 24:25Speaker 1: fifty eight and then all they and all these old
- 24:29Speaker 1: men won't is that they almost out of time.
- 24:34Speaker 5: So get it in.
- 24:36Speaker 1: They pushing. I don't know where you going to meet
- 24:41Speaker 1: date people, but I do know this. Uh, you still
- 24:46Speaker 1: have to have standards and.
- 24:50Speaker 5: You know, requirements.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah, you still have to have that regardless, you just
- 24:55Speaker 1: haven't met the right person. What circle of people are you?
- 25:00Speaker 1: What is your pool that you're selecting from? What does
- 25:02Speaker 1: that look like? Are you in the same place looking
- 25:05Speaker 1: for him? You know? And then maybe maybe hunting isn't
- 25:09Speaker 1: your thing? You know, maybe just maybe that's not it.
- 25:13Speaker 1: So listen a recommendation. Well, I can't find where do
- 25:20Speaker 1: I find you?
- 25:21Speaker 5: Don't find you?
- 25:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I've very rarely seen a woman go out time
- 25:28Speaker 1: man I.
- 25:32Speaker 5: Go to meet Yeah, she just wants to go somewhere.
- 25:34Speaker 1: I think what you need is to be set up
- 25:37Speaker 1: by one of your friends who has an older gentleman
- 25:41Speaker 1: who thinks you would be you would be best on
- 25:43Speaker 1: a set up date because you're not good at picking
- 25:49Speaker 1: block is ticking.
- 25:51Speaker 6: Well, She says, she just wants to go on a

- 25:56Speaker 1: Yeah, well that's on you. You know that's on you. Yeah,
- 26:04Speaker 1: it isn't. I don't know why women don't think you
- 26:06Speaker 1: don't have control of.
- 26:08Speaker 5: That, right exactly, That's what I wanted to do.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Yeah, right, she's almost sixty weekly Golden Corral. We got
- 26:18Speaker 1: to get it in.
- 26:18Speaker 6: I'm sorry, she just wants to go at least to
- 26:22Speaker 6: Golden Corral first.
- 26:25Speaker 5: Before they do all of that. Yeah, all right.
- 26:30Speaker 6: Moving on to Charlotte in Valdosta, Charlotte writes, I was
- 26:34Speaker 6: sitting in my car putting on makeup for a date
- 26:36Speaker 6: when I saw my preacher creeping with the young woman.
- 26:40Speaker 6: I've been trying to get my granddaughter into the church daycare,
- 26:44Speaker 6: but it's full.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Is it wrong to.
- 26:47Speaker 6: Use this as leverage to secure her spot?
- 26:52Speaker 5: We're talking blackmail?
- 26:58Speaker 1: Come on, clo, So let me ask you a question.
- 27:07Speaker 1: You think after spotting your past to creeping with and
- 27:12Speaker 1: your granddaughter can't get in there? Churches daycare, church, church daycare.
- 27:18Speaker 1: You think this would be a good way to use
- 27:20Speaker 1: as blackmail. I think you have a deeper issue.
- 27:25Speaker 5: What's hers?
- 27:26Speaker 1: Is this the type of shepherd you want to follow?
- 27:32Speaker 1: So now, how good is that daycare? How good is
- 27:35Speaker 1: that church under that leadership? If you done already busted him,
- 27:40Speaker 1: what you don't think is more behind the scenes than that.
- 27:44Speaker 1: That's the part you busted him off. Ain't not telling
- 27:47Speaker 1: what else is going on. So if I were you,
- 27:49Speaker 1: I wouldn't even be a consideration of mine. Don't worry
- 27:51Speaker 1: about your granddaughter getting into daycare? Why are you at
- 27:54Speaker 1: the church?
- 27:56Speaker 5: Okay, all right at the top saying yeah.
- 28:00Speaker 1: I mean, I'm just so understand why you you just
- 28:04Speaker 1: skipped over all the other stuff just to get your
- 28:07Speaker 1: baby in the daycare. That don't make no sense. He
- 28:12Speaker 1: out here just running these tricks. Let me get this
- 28:15Speaker 1: baby in this daycare? You know, your trick running past her?
- 28:18Speaker 5: Who is she gonna tell though?
- 28:20Speaker 6: Yeah, who's she gonna tell him?
- 28:24Speaker 5: And then he's gonna.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, she's gonna go up to him and go, hay
- 28:28Speaker 1: past I saw you creeping. And I'm gonna keep this
- 28:30Speaker 1: to myself, but you need to put my grandbaby in
- 28:32Speaker 1: this daycare.
- 28:33Speaker 5: Yeah, I know it's full, but playing.
- 28:38Speaker 1: Wow, and then you know you need to let me
- 28:41Speaker 1: get the rest of this makeup on and tell me
- 28:43Speaker 1: what you think about me. How wha. There's a whole
- 28:50Speaker 1: lot of levels to this.
- 28:52Speaker 5: You went there with it.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Yeah, but you know, once again, we live in this
- 28:55Speaker 1: world where all these crazy things has happened that people
- 28:59Speaker 1: just normally. I saw my pastor creeping try to get
- 29:03Speaker 1: my grand baby in the daycare. Yeah, you think I
- 29:05Speaker 1: could use that to bribe him to get him a
- 29:08Speaker 1: baby in daycare?
- 29:09Speaker 5: Wait?
- 29:10Speaker 1: Wait, you skipped all of see.
- 29:12Speaker 5: That she did?
- 29:15Speaker 1: She did?
- 29:15Speaker 6: Yeah, but she says that's wrong to use this as
- 29:20Speaker 6: leverage to secure.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Is it wrong?
- 29:22Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 29:24Speaker 1: Is it wrong? You even you considering it right? But
- 29:27Speaker 1: you're not looking at the rest of it. That's your
- 29:30Speaker 1: pastor you saw creeping.
- 29:34Speaker 5: Okay, she knows what's wrong, So all.
- 29:36Speaker 1: Right, No lady, I don't care.
- 29:39Speaker 6: Last one, last one, Steve. This is from Jones and Syracuse.
- 29:43Speaker 6: Jones right to my wife's twenty four year old son
- 29:46Speaker 6: is about to catch these hands. He takes my tools
- 29:49Speaker 6: without asking, and he's always borrowing my wife's car. Yesterday,
- 29:54Speaker 6: I was working in the garage and I needed my fan.
- 29:57Speaker 5: It's at his house. How do I get this to stop?
- 30:00Speaker 1: I mean, it's real simple. You got to pull him
- 30:03Speaker 1: to the side and say, hey, listen, man, you can't
- 30:05Speaker 1: touch my stuff without asking me. Period. These ain't your
- 30:10Speaker 1: mama's tools, none of this hip. You got to anything
- 30:13Speaker 1: in this house. You got to come to me as
- 30:16Speaker 1: a man and ask me for it. Don't just walk
- 30:18Speaker 1: out of here with nothing else or else. All right,
- 30:22Speaker 1: that's a want. That's your warnings.
- 30:24Speaker 5: Thank you, CLO.
- 30:25Speaker 6: Coming up at the top of the hour, we'll have
- 30:27Speaker 6: some entertainment news for you right after this.
- 30:31Speaker 5: You're listening Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 30:38Speaker 6: According to AP News and the Black Information Network, President
- 30:42Speaker 6: Trump is pushing GOP state officials to tilt the map
- 30:46Speaker 6: for the twenty twenty six mith terms more in his
- 30:49Speaker 6: favor to preserve the GOP's House majority. Democratic House Representative
- 30:53Speaker 6: Nicole Collier was confined in the capitol overnight. We saw
- 30:57Speaker 6: it all over the news after she refused a police
- 31:00Speaker 6: escort that Republican leaders imposed on Democratic lawmakers who participated
- 31:05Speaker 6: in the two week walkout. Representative Collier said, in part quote,
- 31:09Speaker 6: I refuse to sign away my dignity as a duly
- 31:11Speaker 6: elected representative, just so Republicans can control my movement and
- 31:16Speaker 6: monitor me with police escorts. She went on to say,
- 31:20Speaker 6: when I press that button to vote, I know these
- 31:23Speaker 6: maps will harm my constituent. I won't just go along
- 31:26Speaker 6: quietly with their intimidation or their discrimination. We need to
- 31:31Speaker 6: shake things up and make some good trouble to have
- 31:34Speaker 6: good change.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Okay. You know a lot of people were wondering why.
- 31:38Speaker 6: She was in there, and that's why. That's how she felt.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Now.
- 31:41Speaker 6: According to the Texas Tribune, former Vice President Kamala Harris
- 31:45Speaker 6: called Representative Collier to express her support for her protest.
- 31:50Speaker 5: So what do you guys think? What do you thinks
- 31:52Speaker 5: to you?
- 31:53Speaker 1: Yeah, she's a hero quote. She's gonna get it done
- 31:55Speaker 1: by herself.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Period.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Sure, the problem we have if we have two parties.
- 32:03Speaker 1: The Republicans lawmakers have turned into a party of cowards,
- 32:10Speaker 1: and then the Democrat lawmakers they don't have a plan,
- 32:13Speaker 1: they don't know what to do. See the problem with
- 32:16Speaker 1: Democrats that they keep reacting to what the Republicans are doing.
- 32:21Speaker 1: They're not spearheading anything. You know, what if they want
- 32:25Speaker 1: to one more of them get on TV and say
- 32:27Speaker 1: we need to start talking about what people really want
- 32:29Speaker 1: to talk about, the cost of living, the price of food.
- 32:35Speaker 1: The Epstein files, man, they not finish. Show y'all nothing
- 32:39Speaker 1: in them Epstein files because he in it. So you
- 32:42Speaker 1: ain't gonna see nothing in that because he in Now
- 32:46Speaker 1: too many pictures with him with this dude and too
- 32:48Speaker 1: many so he can't have at it. You ain't finnah
- 32:51Speaker 1: see that. Y'all talking about the cost of food. But
- 32:55Speaker 1: y'all ain't doing nothing.
- 32:57Speaker 9: At least out of Texas, she's doing something where the
- 33:01Speaker 9: rest of Democrats are staying with.
- 33:03Speaker 1: Her, not all on want a card, there's no plan.
- 33:07Speaker 1: She's a hero to me.
- 33:09Speaker 11: I stay with her because at least she's doing.
- 33:11Speaker 6: Something something, and she's thinking about her constituents as well.
- 33:17Speaker 6: She is thinking about the people who put her in office.
- 33:20Speaker 6: She's representing those people as well.
- 33:22Speaker 10: Always those of Parks, always those of Parks.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Didn't get out of the seat on the bus that
- 33:30Speaker 1: sparked it. But guess what, everybody stopped riding the busy? Yes, sir, yes, sir, history, Yes, Okay.
- 33:39Speaker 1: Now that she's done this, what the hell is everybody
- 33:43Speaker 1: else gonna do?
- 33:45Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 33:46Speaker 1: And that's my frustration with watching this. I appreciate Kama
- 33:49Speaker 1: has calling her, supporting her and all this. Hell, well
- 33:52Speaker 1: where everybody else?
- 33:53Speaker 5: You know, where's the Democratic leadership? That's what I'm saying.
- 33:56Speaker 1: Where and what y'all gonna do?
- 33:58Speaker 3: Man?
- 33:58Speaker 1: Stop complaining by the Republicans? What are you going to do?
- 34:03Speaker 1: They know what they're doing. Whatever Trump tells you, do
- 34:05Speaker 1: they about that.
- 34:09Speaker 5: They have their leadership in place, Yes, what they do?
- 34:12Speaker 1: Right? All right?
- 34:15Speaker 5: Thanks guys.
- 34:16Speaker 6: Switching gears and other entertainment news, Sixty seven year old
- 34:20Speaker 6: legendary actress Sharon Stone admitted on Watch What Happens with
- 34:24Speaker 6: Andy Cohen that she once dated Nelly, who happens to
- 34:28Speaker 6: be seventy seventeen years younger than her, but they only
- 34:32Speaker 6: went on one date, she says, just one date. Now,
- 34:34Speaker 6: we all know that Nelly is now married to Ashanti
- 34:38Speaker 6: and Sharon Stone is currently single. So here's the question, guys,
- 34:42Speaker 6: if you could go on one date with a celebrity,
- 34:46Speaker 6: all right, who would it be? Well back in the day,
- 34:49Speaker 6: of course, when you weren't married, So who would it be?
- 34:51Speaker 1: Can you say I'll follow your kids back in the day?
- 34:56Speaker 7: This is this is this is scared to say but
- 34:59Speaker 7: go ahead, Stey comes back back in the day.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Well, why we're talking about it now? Long enough? Not
- 35:11Speaker 1: if you're still tripping on so and so back in
- 35:16Speaker 1: the day.
- 35:18Speaker 6: All right, let's go with Bernadette's Bernadette standards back in
- 35:22Speaker 6: the day. Oh time, just one date?
- 35:28Speaker 11: That was good enough, good enough for you.
- 35:31Speaker 1: But that's how y'all gave me one day, So I'm
- 35:33Speaker 1: good with that.
- 35:34Speaker 6: Well that's all Sharon Stone and Nelly had was one date?
- 35:38Speaker 1: Did she throw that leg open like she did?
- 35:40Speaker 9: And I don't think she looked like that no.
- 35:45Speaker 13: More because Michael Douglas, he was all the way in.
- 35:56Speaker 13: You got to lose his job.
- 36:00Speaker 6: All right, tell me you said Bernadette Stanis from Good Times,
- 36:05Speaker 6: Thelma from Good Times. Today, it would be we know,
- 36:08Speaker 6: it would be halle Berry today.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Yeah, she's been upsetting me lately, but it's still heavy.
- 36:13Speaker 5: Yeah, what upsetting you?
- 36:16Speaker 1: We're just so shappy with this man. She just.
- 36:20Speaker 9: Yeah, you don't want your crush happy. Don't understand she
- 36:26Speaker 9: should be happy?
- 36:27Speaker 1: Right, I know I'm throwing shade.
- 36:29Speaker 6: Yeah right, Steve, you still haven't answered. We've given you
- 36:34Speaker 6: enough time.
- 36:35Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, no, nothing to answer that question. You
- 36:39Speaker 1: go back to the Pymbria days. Don't jump big.
- 36:41Speaker 7: Dog coffee here, exactly what do you say, Marilyn McCoo.
- 36:54Speaker 5: Dimention, Okay, she's beautiful.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Dang Carollo, Beuty Folk Paine god Is left is aband?
- 37:10Speaker 6: Guys, out of the dreams out Designer college dorm room trends.
- 37:18Speaker 5: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening Steve
- 37:22Speaker 5: Harvey Morning Show.
- 37:27Speaker 7: This Sunday, the remaining fourteen's battle to make the championship
- 37:30Speaker 7: in the most physical, fierce, and competitive basketball league in
- 37:33Speaker 7: the world. The action starts with the Big Three Monster
- 37:36Speaker 7: Energy Celebrity Game. Then Dwight Howard and his La Riot
- 37:39Speaker 7: take on Montes Harrold and Doctor J's Chicago Triplets. The
- 37:43Speaker 7: finale we'll see popular Miami three oh five would start.
- 37:46Speaker 7: MVP Michael Beasley and Land Stephenson take on Nancy Lieberman's
- 37:50Speaker 7: Dallas Power who will make it to the Big Three Championship.
- 37:53Speaker 7: The action starts Sunday at three pm Eastern twelfth Pacific
- 37:56Speaker 7: only on CBS Designer Dorms.
- 38:00Speaker 5: Designer Dorms, things have changed in college dorm life.
- 38:03Speaker 8: Guys.
- 38:03Speaker 6: Parents are spending a lot, a lot of money to
- 38:05Speaker 6: decorate their kids college dorm rooms now like they're on
- 38:09Speaker 6: an HGTV makeover show or something. In fact, it's become
- 38:13Speaker 6: such a trend now that a woman in Mississippi quit
- 38:16Speaker 6: her job as an elementary school teacher and now has
- 38:19Speaker 6: a business where she decorates dorm rooms and she charges
- 38:24Speaker 6: up to twenty thousand dollars to do it. Twenty thousand dollars,
- 38:27Speaker 6: so it could be a lucrative.
- 38:29Speaker 5: It's a lucrative business for her.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Right But to get down to Walmart, get you some
- 38:34Speaker 1: colored sheets in the throw room all day, and then
- 38:38Speaker 1: learn yourself.
- 38:39Speaker 6: So that's kind of the leads into the question, Steve,
- 38:45Speaker 6: what were your dorm rooms like when you were in college?
- 38:49Speaker 5: I had cold designer room.
- 38:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm signed it oh Man. So first of all, yeah,
- 38:56Speaker 1: we had a super boy Rico. We had a super
- 39:00Speaker 1: double because we was in a quad, but we ran
- 39:03Speaker 1: our roommates out so it was just me and him.
- 39:06Speaker 1: So he had a bedroom. I had a bedroom with
- 39:09Speaker 1: bunk beds in it. He had a bedroom with bunk
- 39:12Speaker 1: beds in it, and we each had a door, and
- 39:13Speaker 1: then we had a little common area and then we
- 39:16Speaker 1: shared a bathroom with the sweet next door. It had
- 39:19Speaker 1: two sinks in it, one toilet in it, and one shower.
- 39:23Speaker 1: So what I did was each each each person had
- 39:29Speaker 1: a desk. I took the desk and stacked the desk
- 39:33Speaker 1: on top of each other to make an entertainment center.

- 39:58Speaker 1: they had a luminum framed cow. I put that on
- 40:01Speaker 1: my head and walked that to my room.
- 40:05Speaker 11: From the student center at the university to put.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I used the couch that I set on at the
- 40:10Speaker 1: student center to sit on it in my room.
- 40:13Speaker 11: Did you have permission to take that?
- 40:17Speaker 7: No?
- 40:18Speaker 1: But the other other students was allowed to come in
- 40:20Speaker 1: my room and sit on it. Hit a cold part,

- 40:31Speaker 1: little water in it, made a past because it had
- 40:33Speaker 1: the blue bleaching crystals. And I took a spoon and
- 40:36Speaker 1: threw it all over the ceiling, splashed it. And then
- 40:39Speaker 1: I took a fish net and pinned it on that
- 40:42Speaker 1: and inside the fish net I put Ohio player and
- 40:45Speaker 1: other album covers. And then at night I had a
- 40:49Speaker 1: lava lamp and a blue light. When I cut the

- 42:46Speaker 6: acknowledge small gestures, maintain intimacy, give genuine compliments. Genuine compliments. So,
- 42:53Speaker 6: Steve Tommy, any advice you want to add to this?
- 42:56Speaker 6: You guys have been married long as well.
- 42:58Speaker 1: If we start aging a little third of her to hell,
- 43:00Speaker 1: we ain't going to bed man And that's crazy, just
- 43:09Speaker 1: as mad as she was when she went to sleep.
- 43:12Speaker 1: That's what I never understood, because I'll go to bed
- 43:15Speaker 1: and wake up. I don't forgot, No, we won't. Baby,
- 43:20Speaker 1: What you mean?
- 43:20Speaker 3: Hey?
- 43:20Speaker 1: Baby? I still you say last night?
- 43:25Speaker 6: Don't let the sun set on your anger? What about
- 43:28Speaker 6: the acknowledging the small gestures? Sometimes you just be tired.
- 43:33Speaker 5: You don't want to.
- 43:37Speaker 11: Must have been giving tips to mad people out there.
- 43:41Speaker 1: I'm just telling you it was vir genuine. Ain't nobody
- 43:44Speaker 1: finna do all that? Because if you've been married long enough,

- 44:13Speaker 6: your wives, right, No?
- 44:14Speaker 1: Sometimes sometimes no, sometimes that compliment can't be genuine exactly
- 44:21Speaker 1: you're supposed to do. You just have to give the
- 44:25Speaker 1: company you like what I got on Oh baby, that's nice.
- 44:28Speaker 1: Genuine lies, that's what you do. That's what you're lying
- 44:33Speaker 1: and lies genuine.

- 44:43Speaker 5: a marriage.

- 44:46Speaker 1: You got all you have to communicate, but a large
- 44:51Speaker 1: percentage that it's gonna have to be lies.
- 44:53Speaker 14: See lying.
- 44:58Speaker 1: Just if you want to stay married, you tell the
- 45:00Speaker 1: truth all the time, you're not gonna stay married. So
- 45:03Speaker 1: put that down, lion helps the relationship.
- 45:07Speaker 5: I'm not putting that down.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Selective line. You must know when it's time.

- 45:23Speaker 1: got to learn how to selective lie. And I'm not
- 45:25Speaker 1: playing with your especially with your spouse, your best friend,
- 45:33Speaker 1: and sometimes you can't your best friend everything. And that's

- 45:50Speaker 1: however long you need this line to last to do you?
- 45:54Speaker 1: I got a problem with that. I can tell you.
- 45:57Speaker 1: If you want to stay married, you're gonna have to
- 45:59Speaker 1: have select the lying in the think game. You can't
- 46:02Speaker 1: tell the truth about everything.
- 46:04Speaker 5: I'm sorry, Kyle, Happy anniversary.

- 57:03Speaker 6: him because he has not been with me, well, not
- 57:06Speaker 6: the whole time. I have seen him out with other
- 57:09Speaker 6: women a few times while we were supposed to be dating.
- 57:13Speaker 6: I also made sure he saw me, and then I
- 57:16Speaker 6: go home and wait for him to call or come
- 57:18Speaker 6: by and lie to me about what I saw it
- 57:21Speaker 6: bothered me.
- 57:22Speaker 5: At first, but I'm used to it now.
- 57:24Speaker 6: At first, I messed up and told my friends and
- 57:28Speaker 6: family how his actions hurt me.
- 57:30Speaker 5: Big mistake.
- 57:31Speaker 6: I'm a lot wiser now and I act like things
- 57:33Speaker 6: are going great in my relationship, so they don't judge me.
- 57:37Speaker 6: They can't stand my man because of me. My sister
- 57:40Speaker 6: in law works with a woman that he was seeing
- 57:42Speaker 6: around Christmas time. The lady bought him a TV for Christmas,
- 57:45Speaker 6: and he gave it to me for my bedroom. I
- 57:48Speaker 6: wanted to thank the lady for her contribution. I like
- 57:52Speaker 6: to take lemons and make lemonade. I have told my
- 57:56Speaker 6: friends and family that nothing they tell me will ever
- 57:59Speaker 6: make me hate my man. I don't condone his cheating,
- 58:03Speaker 6: but the way he makes it up to me makes
- 58:05Speaker 6: all of the agony worthwhile. I am sure this is
- 58:09Speaker 6: where you start judging me, but when I weigh the
- 58:11Speaker 6: pros and cons, I am winning. I have access to
- 58:15Speaker 6: one of his accounts and he spends all of his
- 58:17Speaker 6: money on me. My sister in law even confirmed that
- 58:20Speaker 6: he doesn't spend any money on the lady that boughts
- 58:23Speaker 6: us the TV. I don't want to start over with
- 58:25Speaker 6: a new man, only to find out that he cheats too.
- 58:29Speaker 6: Eventually my boyfriend will get tired of running around and
- 58:32Speaker 6: I'll be here waiting. Is it a full proof plan
- 58:36Speaker 6: or am I wasting my time?
- 58:39Speaker 3: Uh?
- 58:41Speaker 6: Full proof plan? No wasting your time yet. But I
- 58:45Speaker 6: got to ask you, why are you writing Steve? And
- 58:48Speaker 6: I You know you're not going to listen to anything
- 58:50Speaker 6: we tell you. Your folks have already tried that. Your
- 58:53Speaker 6: friends have tried that to tell you about him. You
- 58:55Speaker 6: didn't listen to them because you don't want our advice.
- 58:58Speaker 6: You just want us to tell you you're right and
- 59:00Speaker 6: that yes, he will eventually settle down with you and
- 59:04Speaker 6: only you one day. That seems to be how you've
- 59:07Speaker 6: worked it out in your head anyway. And this man
- 59:10Speaker 6: is trash because he has no respect for you or
- 59:13Speaker 6: your relationship.
- 59:14Speaker 3: This is sad.
- 59:15Speaker 6: And I know deep down you really don't want a
- 59:18Speaker 6: man who cheats, but you've convinced yourself that this is
- 59:21Speaker 6: the best you can do. In other words, it's better
- 59:24Speaker 6: to have a man that cheats than no man at all.
- 59:28Speaker 6: You cannot really believe that. I mean, so what, he
- 59:31Speaker 6: gave you a TV and has given you access to
- 59:34Speaker 6: his bank account. He still cheats on you, and he's
- 59:37Speaker 6: been doing it for years? How is this okay in
- 59:40Speaker 6: your mind? Because of the money. You said, this is agony,
- 59:44Speaker 6: and I know this has to be agony for you.
- 59:47Speaker 6: He's never going to stop cheating on you because he
- 59:50Speaker 6: knows you're never going to leave him. He has no
- 59:54Speaker 6: incentive to stop because he knows you'll always take him back.
- 59:58Speaker 6: And this has been going on for three years now. Well,
- 1:00:01Speaker 6: you say you're winning, You're not winning. You are losing
- 1:00:04Speaker 6: to a loser.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: Steve Lady surely said something really smart. Shirley said, I
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: don't know why you wrote us, because you're not gonna
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: listen to anything we say, because you just told us
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: that your family can't tell you nothing about him that
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: would make you leave him. So I don't know what
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: you think we're gonna do, but I'm gonna tell you
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: something from the male perspective. I'm gonna give you this
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: letter from the male perspective. Let me see how you
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: feel after you hear this. You say I'm seeking advice,
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: but I know what you're going to tell me. That
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: means that you already know what's best, but you've somehow
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: ignored it. I have a man in my life that
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: I've been with for three years. I say that i've
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: been with him because he's not been with me. Okay, cool,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: Then you don't have a man. You don't have a
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: man if you're going to allow me to do what
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: I want to do whenever I want to do it,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: and I can get away with it, there are no consequences.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: You're not my woman. You this peace I'm dealing with
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: that I can run over. You're a doormat to me,
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: and I'm come in here and wipe my feet off
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: on you and scoot up under the table whenever I
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: want to. I've seen him out with other women a
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: few times while we were supposed to be dating. You've
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: seen him out with women plural a few times while
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: y'all was dating. You saw it for yourself. Didn't nobody
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: come and tell you? So, you saw it for yourself.
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: Always made sure he saw me, And then I go
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: home and wait for him to call and come by
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: and lie to me about what I saw. Well, that's brilliant,
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Oh man, What a great way to spend an evening.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: What a great way to be in a relationship with
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: a per if I'm out as a man with another woman,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: and we're supposed to be dating, and you make sure
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: I see you, and then you go home and wait
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: to see what I'm gonna say. I ain't got to
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: say nothing, Yeah you saw me?
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: What?
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: So at first I messed up and told my friends
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: and family how his actions hurt me. Big mistake. I'm
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: a lot wiser now and I act like things are
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: going great in my relationship so they can't judge me.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: Did you what you're just saying? You did a total contradiction.
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: You used to tell your friends how he hurt you.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: That was a big mistake because now they judge you.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: So now you act like things are going great in
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: your relationship, just so they won't judge you, and you
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: won't have to hear how big a fool you are.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: They can't stand my man because of me. You ought
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: not be able to stand you, the one. I don't
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: know how you can't stand in me the right.
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: Hang on, Steve, hang on.
- 1:03:02Speaker 6: We'll have part two of your response coming up at
- 1:03:04Speaker 6: twenty three minutes after the hour Today's Strawberry letter subject
- 1:03:08Speaker 6: patiently waiting for my man to settle down. We'll get
- 1:03:12Speaker 6: back into it right after this. You're listening Steve Harvey
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: Morning Show.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: Get into the Hyundai Getaway Sales event and get away
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: with the deal so right it almost feels wrong. Right now,

- 1:03:41Speaker 1: five or Ionic six.
- 1:03:43Speaker 7: Get down to your local Hondai dealer and get away
- 1:03:45Speaker 7: with a great deal only during the Hondai Getaway Sale event.
- 1:03:48Speaker 7: Visit HYUNDAIUSA dot com for details.
- 1:03:51Speaker 6: All right, Come on, Steve. Let's recap today's strawberry letter.
- 1:03:54Speaker 6: The subject is patiently waiting for my man to settle down.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: A woman who has a plan that is so far
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: gone it's never going to happen, especially waiting on my
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: man to settle down. You've been with a man for
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: three years. You've caught him out cheating on you several
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: times with other women. You've seen it for yourself. You
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: made sure he saw you, and then your plan was
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: to go back home and wait home to call or
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: come over and lie to you about what you saw.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: You said it bothered me at first, but I'm used
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: to it now. Wow, So how have you conditioned yourself
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: to be subpar. So what you've done is you've gotten
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: used to the fact and condition yourself that I'm not
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: number one, I'm not worthy of being respected and treated right,
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: and I'm okay with that. Lady, you need to feel
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: better about yourself because it's obvious you don't feel that
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: way about yourself, and so he ain't. He ain't gonna
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: treat you that way. Then you said, first, you messed up.
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: You told your friends and friends and family how his
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: actions hurt you. Big mistake. I'm a lot wiser now
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: and I act like things are going greater in my relationship.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: That's not wiser. That doesn't make you wiser. You're more
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: conditioned to accept bad behavior. You're more conditioned to allow
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: this man to treat you any kind of way he
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: wants you. You allow him to use you as a doormats.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: So they can't stand my man because of me. No, lady,
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: they can't stand your man because of how he treats you,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: and you told them that, so they hate him for
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: you because you're too stupid to hate him yourself. Because
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: you have degraded yourself down to some second, third class
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: citizen that's not worthy to be treated like a woman
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: and a lady. My sister in law works with a
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: woman that he was seeing around Christmas time. The lady
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: brought them a TV Christmas and he gave it to
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: me from my bedroom. I wanted to thank the lady
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: for her contribution. Okay, so what else is wrong with you?
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: This woman gave your man a TV for Christmas? He
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: thought enough of you. Well wow, now I ain't got
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: to buy her nothing. I'm a Greek. Gift her a
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: TV that my other chick gave me, So that was
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: your Christmas gift. I wanted to call her and thank
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: the lady for her contribution. Wow, where are you and
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: all of this? Man? Where is the real you? Because
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: you just I mean, this is not even funny to me.
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: This is really sad. If you were my daughter, if
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: you were my daughter, girl, we're not doing this right here,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: because I'm telling you right now, you don't have I
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: like to take lemons and make lemonade. But your lemonade
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: ain't good though. No, you don't even know how to
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: take lemonade. Your lemons is rotten. See you taking rotten
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: lemons and you making lemonade with rotten lemons that's what
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: you're doing. I've told my friends and family that nothing
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: they can tell me would ever make me hate my man.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: So well, I don't know what you want me and
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: surely to do. Like she said, I don't condone his cheating,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: but the way he makes it up to me makes
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: all the agony worthwhile. There is no making up for
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: agony to me. So y'all he's sleeping with you that good. Well,
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: you have this temporary moment of ecstasy and it justifies
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: him doing what he want to do. That's gonna get old, lady.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: I am sure this is where you start judging me.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: I'm not judging me. You's something wrong with you. I
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: have access, but when I weigh the pros and cons,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: I'm winning.
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: No you're not.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: You're losing. In every aspect. He's winning, but you're losing.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: I have access to one of his accounts, and he
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: spends all of his money on me. You know, the
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: the account that you have access to that has very
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: little inn it. My sister in law even confirmed that
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: he didn't spend any money on the lady that bought
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: us the TV. I don't want to start over with
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: a new man. You don't have a man you ain't
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: starting over. You ain't got one in the beginning he's
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: not your man, only to find out that he cheats.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: What difference do it make the one you got cheating?
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: Eventually my boyfriend will get tired of running around, and
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: I'll be here waiting. Is it a food poof playing
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: on my wasting my time? Let me explain something to you.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Eventually your boyfriend will get tired of running around. But
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: when he settled down, it's not gonna be with you.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Very seldom do the other chick win, and right now
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: you the other chick. He has no intentions of settling
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: down anytime soon because every first of all, everything he
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: does with you has no consequences. He can get busted
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: with other women. He can give you a TV that
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: another lady gave him. He ain't got to buy you
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: nothing for Christmas. He gets no consequences. You done decided
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: that's nothing anybody can tell you about him, And then
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: all the agony he sends you through, he makes it
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: up to you, and it's all worthwhile. You have got
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: to stop being ignorant and start thinking more of yourself
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: than him, because he thinks plenty of himself and very
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: little of you, you lady, to stop this.
- 1:09:54Speaker 6: Yeah, post your comments on Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve BARBFM,

- 1:10:19Speaker 1: Get into the Hyundai Getaway Sales event and get away
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: with the deal so right it almost feels wrong right now.
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: Get huge savings on our popular models, including our venture
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: ready SUV's like the Hondai Santa Fe, or go all

- 1:10:53Speaker 6: Junior's out, Tommy's in. What you got for is Tommy?
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:10:57Speaker 7: We're gonna talk about one that's a little dear to
- 1:10:59Speaker 7: my heart. Now, Steve, check this out you've been, you've
- 1:11:02Speaker 7: been watching the Little League World Series, all right?
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: Love it a bit of a right. It's a controversy
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: going on this year, all right.
- 1:11:09Speaker 7: Some fans are demanding a big change because they see
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: the game as unfair.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:11:15Speaker 7: The pictures have gotten so big, They got so big
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: and so strong that they throwing pitches now eighty miles
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: per hour while the distance between the mound and home
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: plate is still forty six feet, and that is actually
- 1:11:29Speaker 7: equivalent to Major League battles facing one hundred and seven
- 1:11:33Speaker 7: miles per hour.
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: Fast. Yeah, So the.
- 1:11:36Speaker 7: Solution would be to increase the size of the field,
- 1:11:40Speaker 7: which means that would probably you got a bag down,
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: move and move that mind back. But now if you
- 1:11:47Speaker 7: do that, it's got to change lily all over the world.
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: You got to change everything. And that's the big problem.
- 1:11:53Speaker 7: And I've been at games, dog, Well, I'm sitting there
- 1:11:56Speaker 7: in the stands looking like that mound too close, that
- 1:11:59Speaker 7: ball it's humming up in here, it's coming too fast.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: I watched the Little Boy last night. Little boy struck
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: out ten batters in the row. How fast was he
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: throwing the ball? He struck out ten people in the row?
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: I don't know how fast he was throwing it. What
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: ibody hitting that. I was sitting in the car. I
- 1:12:16Speaker 1: sitting in that show. Glad I ain't up there. That
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: hell A white boy was scared me. I said, I'm
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: in timberdating this little fat.
- 1:12:24Speaker 14: Boy.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: He had a little high. It's on him too, you know.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Hard to see a little white boy with a hot
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: normally they flat. He had a high, That little boy
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: cocky leg. I wouldn't smoke on it, fright. I agree
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: with I agree with spread. I just want that mind
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: to be moved back a little bit because it's just
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: too close. It's too close. Forty seven. It's too close.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: But I'm gonna tell you something else to us Like
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: the w n B A. If they would lower that
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: rim six inches six inches, that game would be so
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: much money. I'm gonna tell you something, man, The w
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: n B A is good basketball to watch. And I
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: would venture to say, you know, I heard this high
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: school team tell about man, we'll crush them. Girls know
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: you wouldn't know, you wouldn't, boy?
- 1:13:12Speaker 5: Oh some boys.
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: No, it's a high school team.
- 1:13:15Speaker 11: Yeah, high school boy. The high school girls said that.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: No high school girls down stairs? Chance a high school
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: boys team. I'm gonna tell you right now, you would
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: have a tough time beating them, beating them women. Man,
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: And because you don't understand, Yeah, you're more athletic, you
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: can jump higher, and you're faster, but they gonna move
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: that ball around because they shoot three pointers better than men.
- 1:13:43Speaker 1: They're gonna outsmart you. If if the realm was six
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: inches smaller man, the w NBA would be hell of
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: basketball to watch.
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:13:54Speaker 6: Coming up at the top of the hour, Thank you guys.
- 1:13:56Speaker 6: A man on social media needs some advice to He says,
- 1:13:59Speaker 6: word has it. My girl girlfriend wants me to propose.
- 1:14:02Speaker 6: We'll talk about it right after this. You're listening to
- 1:14:05Speaker 6: the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:11Speaker 5: All right, Steve, here we go.
- 1:14:12Speaker 6: TJ on Steve BARBFM says, one of my girlfriend's friends
- 1:14:15Speaker 6: told me that my girlfriend is expecting me to propose soon.
- 1:14:19Speaker 6: I don't know where that came from because it's not
- 1:14:21Speaker 6: something I've ever said or that we've discussed. It really
- 1:14:24Speaker 6: got me thinking about the relationship and where it's going. Honestly,
- 1:14:29Speaker 6: I love her and we've had a great time, but
- 1:14:32Speaker 6: I've never wanted to get married. Now that I know
- 1:14:35Speaker 6: that she really wants to get married. I'm wondering if
- 1:14:38Speaker 6: it's fair to appear to be stringing her along, but
- 1:14:41Speaker 6: I don't want to break up. What's the right way
- 1:14:43Speaker 6: to handle this? I guess I should find out if
- 1:14:46Speaker 6: it's even true first, right.
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: Oh, it's true. I can tell you that right now.
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: It's true. A lot of women want to be married
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: when they think they had the right guy. And you
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: do love this girl, and you really having a wonderful time,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: and she's thinking, man, this could be it. I hope
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: he asked me to marry him. Now, the fact that
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: you don't want to get married is a conversation you
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: need to have. But see now, if you want to
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: snow her, then keep acting like it's a consideration of yours,
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: knowing full well you don't want to get married. I
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: think you should have a conversation with this young lady
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: in all fairness, and let me tell you something, young man.
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: I don't know how old you are, but don't you
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: mess up and let a good one get away? And
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: then two years later you decide you want to get married,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: and now you got to go find another her and
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: it might not happen. Homie, what you get through because
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: a lot of them think that what about it? Why
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: she want to get married?
- 1:15:52Speaker 7: Why why wouldn't she want to get married and have
- 1:15:59Speaker 7: it understands she wants to get married. Why is it
- 1:16:01Speaker 7: in your head that you think he's about to propose?
- 1:16:04Speaker 7: But and y'all ain't even be causing at all.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: Because Tommy, when a woman is sitting in the room
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: by herself, her mind free to go wherever she want,
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: this is what she won't And she.
- 1:16:14Speaker 11: Told her girlfriend that. She told her girlfriend, Yeah, this,
- 1:16:17Speaker 11: this is what.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: She ain't said. This is what I think he want
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: to do. I think I think he's gonna propose to me.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: So she'd have worked that up in her head and
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: she giddy about it. Tommy, the girlfriend that went to
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: hear and the girlfriend, what hell she get that from?
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:16:34Speaker 11: Exactly, that's exactly what he's saying.
- 1:16:37Speaker 14: Steve, where does she get that from?
- 1:16:39Speaker 8: Say that.
- 1:16:42Speaker 5: And tell me you're married? So I don't even know
- 1:16:44Speaker 5: why you're mad about this. All right, let's move on.
- 1:16:50Speaker 5: We have time for another one.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Steve.
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: This is CEC on Steve Harvey FM.
- 1:16:54Speaker 6: CEC says, I recently found out that my boyfriend has
- 1:16:57Speaker 6: a second phone while he was in the shower. His
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: phone was on the dresser. But then I heard ringing
- 1:17:03Speaker 6: coming from his pants on the floor. I pulled out
- 1:17:06Speaker 6: another Yeah, I pulled out another phone from his pants
- 1:17:09Speaker 6: with a missed call from an unknown number. At first
- 1:17:13Speaker 6: I convinced myself it was either someone else's phone or
- 1:17:16Speaker 6: maybe a work phone. So I didn't say anything. But
- 1:17:19Speaker 6: now my mind won't stop going to the worst place
- 1:17:22Speaker 6: that he's hiding a whole secret life.
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: That was about three weeks ago. Should I say something
- 1:17:27Speaker 5: or is it too late?
- 1:17:30Speaker 1: She said, this is her boyfriend.
- 1:17:32Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, her boyfriend has a second phone.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Yeah, well he got two phones? What yeah?
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: Yeah, so she wants to know what's.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: Going on in LA and you work with me every morning.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: How many phones did I have?
- 1:17:45Speaker 5: Maybe three?
- 1:17:46Speaker 1: It was a lot. I had three phones back, yeah,
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: three three phones. Yeah, three phones. One was for business.
- 1:17:54Speaker 1: Uh huh, one was for personal, and one was for
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: the wife.
- 1:17:59Speaker 5: Wait wait wait, personal and the wife should be one.
- 1:18:03Speaker 5: That should be one that should be white. Personally, yeah,
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: personally and your wife should be the same.
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: Phone, right, I'm not. She wasn't personal.
- 1:18:17Speaker 6: She was my wife, okay. And the difference is because
- 1:18:22Speaker 6: you're not making any sense right now?
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: That makes sense? Your nerves with this lot of sense.
- 1:18:36Speaker 5: Sorry, we gotta leave.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: This about to ask me nothing about happiness.
- 1:18:43Speaker 11: I'm sorry.
- 1:18:44Speaker 14: This on the table.
- 1:18:46Speaker 6: We'll get more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming
- 1:18:49Speaker 6: up at twenty.
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: We'll bring it back then right after this. You're listening
- 1:18:54Speaker 5: to the Steve Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:19:00Speaker 6: All right, Steve, So before we went to break, you
- 1:19:01Speaker 6: were talking about you had two phones, okay three three phones,
- 1:19:07Speaker 6: I mean three. You had a business phone, a personal phone,
- 1:19:09Speaker 6: and a phone for your wife. Okay, back in then,
- 1:19:12Speaker 6: so I'm thinking your personal phone and the phone for
- 1:19:16Speaker 6: your wife should just be one phone.
- 1:19:18Speaker 5: Correct.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: That wife, I just said, she had her own phone,
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: special white, special her phone.
- 1:19:26Speaker 5: But personal though that I don't understand what makes this
- 1:19:30Speaker 5: make sense to me?
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: Please?
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: It is for friends, friends and bs. Your wife get
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: her own personal phone. Not that second off that was
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: you know, that was back in that second marriage was
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: a little rough and I had to find a way
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: to maintain and how to overcome what I was going through.
- 1:19:55Speaker 5: But let me just say this, So when you were.
- 1:19:57Speaker 1: On that business phone rarely ever wrong.
- 1:20:00Speaker 6: Yeah, So your personal phone, when you're talking to your
- 1:20:03Speaker 6: friends and your.
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: Wife called that thing was hot?
- 1:20:06Speaker 5: Can you just hang up with your friends and talk
- 1:20:08Speaker 5: to your wife?
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, no, no, no no. That stayed
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: under the flow mat in the bounty, which the flow
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: mat with the personal phone stayed under the folk flow mat.
- 1:20:20Speaker 5: Okay, so who's calling you on the personal phone?
- 1:20:24Speaker 14: Friends, Shirley, you're yelling, Steve, no friends?

- 1:21:47Speaker 1: Plus plus I know when you line anywhere, I'm so

- 1:22:00Speaker 5: You want someone that's as good as you are at it.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: You can't out you can't. No, no, no, no, no, no,
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: surely I'm sixty eight. No that ain't gonnall. That ain't
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: gonna happen. That's not going to happen.
- 1:22:12Speaker 5: I don't believe that, all right.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Yeah, you don't believe what you don't believe. They can
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: outlie you.
- 1:22:17Speaker 11: There is someone.
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, you can
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: out lie me. Okay, we're good. Yeah, I'm just gonna
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: know it. It's a whole lot of people can outlie
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: me because I don't lie all the time. Just enough.
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: Just a lot.
- 1:22:38Speaker 5: Don't get that the truth?
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: Would you rather?
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: Would you rather have your first child when you're nineteen
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: or when you're fifty.
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: Well, all of my kids was a surprise anyway. So
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: you always say that I felt the same way at
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: twenty five and again at forty. So I ain't really.
- 1:23:01Speaker 11: Take health health class.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: Playing parenthood.
- 1:23:08Speaker 11: Health science in school.
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: That took all that you know. I ain't every supply
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: I had.
- 1:23:17Speaker 3: Guess the honey.
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: I ain't doing it at fifty though, I'm sorry.
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: Fifty okay, all right?
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: Would you got money? All right?
- 1:23:29Speaker 5: Would you rather be half your height or or double
- 1:23:32Speaker 5: your weight? Who wrote this?
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: I want to know?
- 1:23:36Speaker 9: Who?
- 1:23:37Speaker 5: Want me to keep going?
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: Yes? I did.
- 1:23:41Speaker 11: I'm very proud of it.
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: One more time, Shirley, double my weight. I waited for farting.
- 1:23:47Speaker 5: Would you God either half or double your weight?
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: Yeah? Going down there? Did half my height? I'm god
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: dog three foot one? Then double this, wait and get
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: back to the gym.
- 1:24:04Speaker 7: Though I know we get I can't be I'm not
- 1:24:07Speaker 7: gonna be that heavy. I can't i'ma be half my
- 1:24:09Speaker 7: hand can't be shut, you can show, can't be short.
- 1:24:13Speaker 7: I'm gonna just tell you that I'm gonna be already.
- 1:24:17Speaker 7: You already can't get nothing off top refrigerator.

- 1:24:29Speaker 1: your way, right, back, and you ain't gonna be a
- 1:24:30Speaker 1: get refrigerator today. And I can't get nothing but pot
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: because the food is up too hot. With the one
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: and only Steve Ford behalf.

- 1:25:30Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 1:25:32Speaker 11: Yeah, twenty one years o shah yeah, yeah.
- 1:25:36Speaker 6: A lot of love, my heart work, yeah, a lot
- 1:25:39Speaker 6: of heart work, love my husband, love my man.
- 1:25:42Speaker 11: Alright, those closing remarks.
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: I had a question for you, Steve. Okay, okay, I'll
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: take it.
- 1:25:49Speaker 11: What are the things that you think you should let
- 1:25:53Speaker 11: go of?
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: Oh wow, what are the things I think I would
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: let well? First of all, and this is gonna sign
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: sound kind of wide spread, but you've got to release worry.
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: Worry is a dangerous thing because it occupies time and
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: it robs you of the gift of the present. Worry
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: is a dangerous component because it robs you of the
- 1:26:30Speaker 1: gift of the present. If God allows you to have
- 1:26:36Speaker 1: today as a gift, and he wakes you up, it
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: allows you exist in it and this is yours and
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: He still has something for you. But you spend that
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: day worry about one of two things tomorrow or yesterday.
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: And I got news for you. You can't do You
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: cannot do anything about either one of those. Worry is
- 1:27:01Speaker 1: time consuming. Worry destroys the act of faith, which is
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: a requirement to have a really, really great relationship with God.
- 1:27:14Speaker 1: God really just wants you to do simple things. Just
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: believe in him. God wants you to trust in him,
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: but you got to have a relationship with him. But
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: worry cancels out that relationship because it has you focused
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: on things you can't control. And it also puts you
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: in the position of you're not talking to God about this.
- 1:27:41Speaker 1: I can assure you, if you're worrying about something repeatedly,
- 1:27:45Speaker 1: over and over and over, you haven't turned it over
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: to God. I know people say yes, Steve, but you
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: still got to think about stuff. I said worry. I
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: didn't say think. Anybody told you not to think. I
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: said worry. I would let go of worry because worry.
- 1:28:06Speaker 1: Does you know how many times have you worried about
- 1:28:09Speaker 1: something tomorrow and when tomorrow got here it ain't or
- 1:28:12Speaker 1: nothing like that. I mean, zilch ah man oh man,
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: no man, I mean. And it can go both ways. Man.
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: I thought tomorrow when I woke up, I was gonna
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: get some great news, only to find out that celebration
- 1:28:29Speaker 1: need to be put on hold. Homie, you ain't got
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: no good news today. Or I was expecting some bad
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: news tomorrow and I was worrying about this bad news.
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: And then when I showed up, God and worked it
- 1:28:43Speaker 1: completely out another way and it was over with. So
- 1:28:46Speaker 1: guess what I did. I wasted my yesterday I ruined
- 1:28:51Speaker 1: my moment of present peace worrying about something I had
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: no control over. I would get rid of worry. The
- 1:28:57Speaker 1: other thing I would get rid of I would get
- 1:28:59Speaker 1: rid of people who bring me nothing but bad news.
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: Life is already difficult. The last thing you need is
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: somebody had every time you see them, something wrong, something
- 1:29:10Speaker 1: going on. Did you see what they said about you
- 1:29:13Speaker 1: on the internet? Man, did you read this? It's this true.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: I don't know how you do it. I was at
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: the barber shop and they was just talking about you.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: I be just sitting there, hey hey, hey man, hey,
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: hey hey stop stop stop stop bringing that to me,
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: because guess what I'm having another day of perfect peace,
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: and now here you come with that. Take people out
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: your life that are not praying for you, pulling for you,
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: cheering for you, and helping you. If you are the
- 1:29:45Speaker 1: one that's always has to do something for them, you
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: are being used and manipulated and you don't need that.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: The other thing I would get rid of is the
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: fear of saying no. It's okay to say no. Man.
- 1:30:01Speaker 1: Stop wondering what people gonna think about you if you
- 1:30:04Speaker 1: say no. Let me tell you what say no? Yes,
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: they gonna feel what they want to feel about you
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: anyway you can give it to them, and they talk
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: about you.
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: You know what.
- 1:30:13Speaker 1: I many times you've helped somebody and then later on
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: they forgot you help them, and you hear them talking
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: about you somewhere. Man, lose your fear of saying no, no, man,
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: I can't do that. I just got a text this morning.
- 1:30:27Speaker 1: Hey man, I'm in town. Man, I got this going on,
- 1:30:30Speaker 1: that going on. I need about ten minutes of your time.
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: I say, I ain't got it, man, I'm busy. You
- 1:30:36Speaker 1: ain't got ten minutes. No, no, no, not for you.
- 1:30:39Speaker 1: I don't not for you, because I know the ten
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: minutes is gonna break my peace. You not my child.
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: If my child need ten minutes, I have an obligation
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: to them. I still feel obligated to my children, even
- 1:30:52Speaker 1: though the youngest one is twenty eight. If they say, Dad,
- 1:30:55Speaker 1: I need to talk to you, I'm finna give them
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: some time. But other than that, man, lose your fear
- 1:31:03Speaker 1: of saying no, no, it's good man. Protect your peace,
- 1:31:09Speaker 1: protect your happiness, protect your space, get away from those people.
- 1:31:16Speaker 1: So those are the things I would lose my fear, worry.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: I would lose my fear of people. I would lose
