  This is Pastor Daniel Stevenson. I'm director of the Southside Life Station and pastor of New Heights Fellowship Baptist Church of East Toledo.

  Today's verse, Psalms 22, 30. It says,

  Posterity will serve him. It will be told of the Lord to the coming generation.
• 0:22
  The truth of God must be passed from generation to generation.
• 0:27
  The task is overwhelming, but there is always another generation until there isn't.
• 0:33
  Every new generation arises and must be informed and, where possible, enlisted.
• 0:39
  It's hard because the next generation will question the ways of the old.
• 0:43
  They will see the hypocrisy of those who say they believe in God but don't really walk it out.
• 0:48
  And they will say, why should I have anything to do with God at all?
• 0:51
  Or why should I have anything to do with God the way you do?
• 0:55
  And in that second question, they may actually be right because the uniqueness of each person's walk with God is, well, unique.

  That's what makes us equal because we're unique and different and whole.

  God wants to ensure his message is delivered to generation after generation and he chooses to use this generation to deliver it to the next one.

  Failing that, maybe our generation will have to deliver it to the one after that.

  And with each further away generation, it becomes that much more difficult because we don't see eye to eye or think the same.

  God help us be willing servants and witnesses.
• 1:34
  Help us share your truth with every coming generation as is needed.
• 1:41
