- 1:58Speaker 1: your baby at it? Huh, I sure will. Good morning everybody.
- 2:04Speaker 1: You are listening to the voice, Come on dig me now,
- 2:07Speaker 1: one and only. Steve Harvey got a radio show, y'all
- 2:10Speaker 1: do I thank God for it every day? Every day.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I try to remember that too, you know. I try
- 2:18Speaker 1: to remember to be grateful. You know. I think gratitude is,
- 2:25Speaker 1: you know, one of the things that helps keep me grounded.
- 2:29Speaker 1: You can go as far as you want in life.
- 2:31Speaker 1: If you don't mind who gets the credit. Well that
- 2:35Speaker 1: applies to God too, don't it. I mean, you know, really,
- 2:39Speaker 1: if you don't mind who gets the credit. You know,
- 2:45Speaker 1: I'm surrounded by very competent people. I'm surrounded by a
- 2:52Speaker 1: lot of people who work hard on their jobs, on
- 2:56Speaker 1: their career, who are dedicated. Um, you know, employees and
- 3:03Speaker 1: and and also just dedicated to their families and you know,
- 3:07Speaker 1: you know, dedicated to their own set of aspirations. I
- 3:10Speaker 1: don't expect anybody to work for me, you know, forever,
- 3:15Speaker 1: I always look at my job opportunities as stepping stones
- 3:20Speaker 1: because I want everyone around me really to aspire to
- 3:23Speaker 1: be more. I mean, that's that's really the way I am.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I'm not any other way. I'm not trying to hold
- 3:29Speaker 1: you to this position. Uh you know, tell you there's
- 3:32Speaker 1: no room for growth, uh any of that. But even
- 3:37Speaker 1: though I'm surrounded by these people, I'm grateful that God
- 3:43Speaker 1: placed them in my path, in my life. But in
- 3:51Speaker 1: my mind, in my spirit, in everything in me, the
- 3:57Speaker 1: credit still belongs to God. I'm sorry, the credit still
- 4:05Speaker 1: belongs to God. See if you were just for a moment,
- 4:11Speaker 1: stop thinking about yourself, just for a moment. I know
- 4:15Speaker 1: that's hard, but just for a moment, stop thinking about
- 4:19Speaker 1: yourself and realize that maybe you are who you are
- 4:23Speaker 1: because God is who he is. Maybe that's the case.
- 4:27Speaker 1: Have you ever considered that, you know, that's that's the
- 4:31Speaker 1: strongest possibility I can give to you. You know, how
- 4:35Speaker 1: do you think you're the one that made it through?
- 4:40Speaker 1: How you think you the one after all of the
- 4:43Speaker 1: ignorant decisions we have made? And oh, my goodness, let's
- 4:47Speaker 1: all be honest. Ain't we made some Ain't we made
- 4:50Speaker 1: some crazy decisions I'm talking about, man, I have made
- 4:54Speaker 1: decisions so adverse to my destiny and career, in my promises.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I've made some decisions man, to knowingly you hear me
- 5:07Speaker 1: knowingly do something wrong, And in spite of all that,
- 5:11Speaker 1: I'm still here standing. Okay, come on now, really, but man,
- 5:18Speaker 1: what about his grace and his mercy? What about his favor?
- 5:23Speaker 1: How many times, man, you didn't rely on that, even
- 5:27Speaker 1: when you ain't know you was relying on it? How
- 5:29Speaker 1: many times man, God hadn't shown you mercy? You ain't
- 5:33Speaker 1: even deserve it? You know, you do? You know how
- 5:36Speaker 1: many things I've done wrong? I just ain't get caught
- 5:41Speaker 1: at it? You know. Let me see how simple I
- 5:45Speaker 1: can be. Here? You speed, you jaywal, you make you turns.
- 5:57Speaker 1: I'm just doing traffic violation. Now, let's get off traffic
- 6:04Speaker 1: for a second. Let's get on human violations. You talk
- 6:08Speaker 1: about people when you're not supposed to. You indulge yourself
- 6:14Speaker 1: in gossip, even when you don't really have all the facts.
- 6:18Speaker 1: You pass judgment, You lust for people that don't belong
- 6:24Speaker 1: to you. You say things to people that you're not
- 6:29Speaker 1: supposed to say. So look all of us, we all,
- 6:37Speaker 1: we all guilty. Now See I'm pretty sure if you
- 6:41Speaker 1: I'm not saying you do all of that, but I'm
- 6:43Speaker 1: saying I'm pretty sure I hit you somewhere in there,
- 6:46Speaker 1: just somewhere in there. You to lie before you know
- 6:50Speaker 1: you lied recently. I mean, come on, And I'm just
- 6:53Speaker 1: saying so with all that in mind, See, I'm just
- 6:56Speaker 1: looking at the little things that we do that we
- 6:57Speaker 1: don't get busted for. Not to mention the chips you
- 7:00Speaker 1: stole when you was a kid and nobody caught you. Well,
- 7:04Speaker 1: that elevated, didn't it. And some of y'all just didn't
- 7:06Speaker 1: stop stealing. The next thing you know, you was in
- 7:08Speaker 1: a car. Now you're sitting somewhere you don't want to
- 7:10Speaker 1: be sitting because of a decision you made. But through
- 7:14Speaker 1: his grace and mercy, couldn't it have been worse? Though?
- 7:16Speaker 1: Without his grace and mercy, could not it have been worse?
- 7:21Speaker 1: I know, two dudes, it got caught in the garage
- 7:23Speaker 1: one time, trying to break in somebody's house, and the
- 7:25Speaker 1: person in the house they broke into just happened to
- 7:28Speaker 1: have a gun and held them into garage, caught them
- 7:33Speaker 1: and hailed them to the garage to the police car.
- 7:35Speaker 1: That's Grace and Mercy right there, because they had all
- 7:38Speaker 1: full right to shoot these two people, but they didn't.
- 7:41Speaker 1: The Grayson Mercy. See, all of us have benefited from
- 7:45Speaker 1: his grace and mercy. All of us have done a wrong,
- 7:48Speaker 1: committed a sin, broken the law, and somehow, through his
- 7:52Speaker 1: grace and mercy, got by doing drugs, buying drugs, slanging drugs,
- 7:56Speaker 1: doing something, got by, jumped on somebody for no reason
- 8:00Speaker 1: and got by. You know. So see how you figure
- 8:05Speaker 1: with all that that can go on in your life.
- 8:07Speaker 1: And then hold on, let me throw a couple more
- 8:09Speaker 1: at you. You can't wake yourself up in the morning,
- 8:13Speaker 1: mister big shot. You don't have the ability to control
- 8:19Speaker 1: the breaths that you take. Really, mister big shot, really,
- 8:24Speaker 1: let's get real basic with it now. You can't wake
- 8:26Speaker 1: yourself up in the morning. That's favor, that's grace, that's mercy,
- 8:36Speaker 1: that's him allowing you to wake up, just hoping we
- 8:40Speaker 1: get it right. You know, God spared me through all
- 8:43Speaker 1: the dirt I was doing, just hoping one day? Man,
- 8:46Speaker 1: can you just straighten up a little bit? When I
- 8:49Speaker 1: finally straightened up, and I'm gonna just say it straightened
- 8:52Speaker 1: up a little bit. See, I ain't straightened up all
- 8:54Speaker 1: the way. Say I ain't gonna sit here and tell
- 8:56Speaker 1: you that I just straightened up a little bit. He
- 8:58Speaker 1: started blessing me. So the more blessings I gotta started going, Man,
- 9:02Speaker 1: maybe I'll try straighten up a little bit more. So
- 9:03Speaker 1: I straightened up a little bit more. Now I still
- 9:05Speaker 1: got a long way to go, but I'm straighter than
- 9:08Speaker 1: I was now. When people judging me and as they will,
- 9:11Speaker 1: and they do because that ain't right, but they do,
- 9:14Speaker 1: and I ain't walking just the way they walk. Then
- 9:16Speaker 1: here comes to criticism. I get it all the time.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Stop wanting credit all the time, and give out some
- 9:22Speaker 1: credit where credit is due instead of get having somebody
- 9:25Speaker 1: patting you on your back all the time. Why don't
- 9:27Speaker 1: you tell God, tell people it was really was God? Man,
- 9:30Speaker 1: But you don't really know how you made it that really, man,
- 9:33Speaker 1: you have no explanation for your success or you have
- 9:36Speaker 1: no explanation why you still existing today. Why don't you
- 9:39Speaker 1: tell somebody was God today? Don't be ashamed. It's the truth,
- 9:42Speaker 1: ain't it. I mean, really, man, Let's give God some credit. Hell,
- 9:47Speaker 1: give God the credit and the glory and honor, and
- 9:50Speaker 1: like that plaque said, you can go as far as
- 9:52Speaker 1: you want in life if you don't mind who gets
- 9:54Speaker 1: the credit. You're listening, ladies and gentlemen. Undivided attention is
- 10:03Speaker 1: all that's required here, nothing more. It's not necessary to
- 10:07Speaker 1: have good sense. It's not necessary to have common sense.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Degrees are not needed, um anything of any value. You
- 10:19Speaker 1: just don't need it, just just need your listening. Because
- 10:23Speaker 1: this is the Steve Harvey Morning Show. We need you
- 10:26Speaker 1: to be open minded and receptive to the foolishness that's
- 10:31Speaker 1: about to go down. Ladies and gentlemen, this is thus
- 10:36Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show, Make no mistake about it. Ain't
- 10:40Speaker 1: no other one batter than this hill. Let's get the stake.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Start Shirley Strong, Hey, Good morning, Steve, kicking on over
- 10:47Speaker 1: the caller for real. Good morning, Steve, Hey, Chris bringing
- 10:51Speaker 1: on end to the impressionable care Junior space morning Uncle,
- 10:56Speaker 1: I'm here and the King of Foolishness ladies and Jim
- 11:01Speaker 1: Nephew Tommy. I love it. I love it, but no,
- 11:16Speaker 1: that's how you started. I love it. Let's go kick
- 11:20Speaker 1: this morning off. Yeah. Everything good? Yeah? How about with you?
- 11:27Speaker 1: How are you selling? I feel pretty good, man, feel
- 11:29Speaker 1: pretty good? Um yeah, I'm just like really really fine.
- 11:34Speaker 1: You know, No, I was just trying to think of
- 11:37Speaker 1: how to describe. I don't know. Let me ask you something, man.
- 11:41Speaker 1: How often you count your money? Though? Like once a
- 11:44Speaker 1: week once they're two weeks, you go look at it
- 11:47Speaker 1: and look at your zero? Did you hear? I don't
- 11:50Speaker 1: ever do that. You don't never go look at it
- 11:54Speaker 1: like when you first okay Greg, when you first got
- 11:56Speaker 1: it and you go look at it. When is it
- 11:59Speaker 1: that it'll be where you can go see it viewing
- 12:02Speaker 1: at least on line? You know, you go pull up
- 12:04Speaker 1: your bank account. I thought you meant like look at
- 12:07Speaker 1: the actual money. Yeah, just put it up to say okay,
- 12:12Speaker 1: now I look at my bank accounts. You know. Well,
- 12:16Speaker 1: do you ever call down and say I want one
- 12:18Speaker 1: out this bank right now and then say I'm just playing? Well,
- 12:20Speaker 1: if you do, if you threaten me, I've done that before.
- 12:24Speaker 1: If you threaten oh yeah, if you talk to me crazy, Yo. Yeah,
- 12:28Speaker 1: I thought you're into song. I won't get too How
- 12:32Speaker 1: many brinks trucks? Is that? I take all that? I
- 12:40Speaker 1: ain't never really had to do it, it said once.
- 12:42Speaker 1: I ain't had that much, but I had enough down
- 12:44Speaker 1: there to be effective. So bank talk to me crazy
- 12:47Speaker 1: one time. Yeah, and I just said, all right, no problem,
- 12:50Speaker 1: just let me have my money. You gotta have talk
- 12:53Speaker 1: to a manager. Let me talk to him. So I'll
- 12:56Speaker 1: be down in ma all two thirty. You need it
- 12:58Speaker 1: all in cash. It's six people in my house that
- 13:01Speaker 1: evening trying to get this together. Who said something to him?
- 13:07Speaker 1: We're gonna straighten this out right? Come on? Who the hills?
- 13:15Speaker 1: The former employee here? Who made this mistake? I said
- 13:20Speaker 1: it correctly, the former employee here? Because you're done, all right? Listen, Yeah,
- 13:28Speaker 1: coming up at thirty two after the hour. Have you
- 13:30Speaker 1: guys ever walked in on someone having sex? Or has
- 13:34Speaker 1: someone ever walked in on you having sex? And how embarra?
- 13:37Speaker 1: Is that all right? Well we'll talk about it at
- 13:39Speaker 1: thirty two after Right after this, you're listening to the
- 13:43Speaker 1: Steve Harvey Morning Show. Kelly Rip from Ryan and Kelly.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I recently talked about the time her daughter Lola walked
- 13:52Speaker 1: in on her and her husband Mark Consuelo having sex. Consuelos,
- 13:56Speaker 1: according to Kelly, Lola closed the door and yelled, you
- 13:59Speaker 1: just ruined my birthday. Um it was her eighteenth birthday,
- 14:03Speaker 1: and she said, you just ruined my birthday and you
- 14:05Speaker 1: ruined my life. And I used to see in color,
- 14:08Speaker 1: she said, but now I see in gray. So she
- 14:12Speaker 1: was all messed up, right, Oh yeah, yeah, yes, yeah.
- 14:17Speaker 1: So the question, uh is to the guys, uh, have
- 14:21Speaker 1: you guys ever walked in on someone else? Why? Has
- 14:24Speaker 1: got to be just hit a gay? You guys are comedians,
- 14:27Speaker 1: that's why. Hello, just that question. It's a question. Sure,
- 14:31Speaker 1: it's just a question. Y'all can answer too. Is it
- 14:34Speaker 1: because you don't want to answer it? Okay? My answer
- 14:36Speaker 1: is you scared to tell of what? You don't walked
- 14:38Speaker 1: in and see my answers. No, that's no fun there.
- 14:41Speaker 1: You guys are comedians, all right. Uh So to the
- 14:45Speaker 1: guys again, have you ever walked in on anyone having sex?
- 14:49Speaker 1: Or has anyone ever walked in on you? Steve? What happened?
- 14:54Speaker 1: I walked in I was about eleven eleven. I walked
- 15:00Speaker 1: in on my aunt uncle. I knew it. Yeah. I
- 15:03Speaker 1: was over the house and walked in on my aunt uncle.
- 15:06Speaker 1: And at the time I didn't know what they was
- 15:07Speaker 1: doing because it was so much fat in the bed.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I didn't know what they was doing. My big ass
- 15:14Speaker 1: aunt was sitting up in there with her big ass husband,
- 15:17Speaker 1: and I just thought they were in there. Just I
- 15:19Speaker 1: thought it was an attack. I really didn't know what
- 15:23Speaker 1: it was at the time, certainly did not know it
- 15:27Speaker 1: was sex. Did they see you that was love? Yeah,
- 15:33Speaker 1: they know you were in there. Yeah. My uncle, yo,
- 15:37Speaker 1: go get your ass out of here. Took him a
- 15:41Speaker 1: long time. He was in the middle of something, so
- 15:43Speaker 1: he studied and swallowed his head. Made me get out,
- 15:47Speaker 1: and I didn't realize what was happening. Then we went
- 15:49Speaker 1: back and looked through the keyhole when the head keyhole lord,
- 15:55Speaker 1: stuff like that. Yeah. Yeah, I walked in on my
- 16:01Speaker 1: mom and daddy. I was eight, a boy, eight years old,
- 16:08Speaker 1: and I bust out cryings, I told by that you
- 16:11Speaker 1: said you would never hurt her at eight, At eight,
- 16:17Speaker 1: I wise, young man, little boy. I couldn't believe. Then.
- 16:21Speaker 1: My mom was gonna try to come in and talk
- 16:22Speaker 1: to me, what's wrong? She said, what's wrong? I said,
- 16:25Speaker 1: I was in there. He was hurting you. He said, no,
- 16:27Speaker 1: that was making Look it didn't look like Look, I
- 16:30Speaker 1: ain't see no hugs at eight. I adn't see no
- 16:33Speaker 1: hugs because they said hugging was loving. There was no husband.
- 16:40Speaker 1: You're trying to get my dad got nere coming out.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Let's go play basketball. Not after that. None of you
- 16:46Speaker 1: hurt my mom. You don't play together no more, sir.
- 16:51Speaker 1: All right, let's get to it all right now. You
- 16:56Speaker 1: you know what, have you ever walked in on someone
- 17:00Speaker 1: making love? Have you ever been caught by someone making love? Yes? Yes,
- 17:05Speaker 1: I have walked in on my roommate in college. Didn't
- 17:10Speaker 1: know that was happening. Yeah. Wow. We ain't gonna go
- 17:15Speaker 1: no further than that. I think that's happened everybody. But
- 17:19Speaker 1: the girl was somebody I liked, though, you know, yeah,
- 17:24Speaker 1: that was a little twisted. All right. My son, my
- 17:28Speaker 1: younger son, Jordan, has walked in on us twice, twice twice.
- 17:34Speaker 1: I can't like to do twice. I said the same
- 17:37Speaker 1: damn thing. I didn't know her and I could dive
- 17:40Speaker 1: the way we dove when that boy walked in there,
- 17:44Speaker 1: we we became airborne. He never saw nothing because we
- 17:47Speaker 1: was airborne. Neither time did he did he see one
- 17:51Speaker 1: the first time did he see something? The first never
- 17:53Speaker 1: saw nothing. But we dove. Now we didn't. We didn't
- 17:55Speaker 1: hurt something when we landed, but we don't. We got
- 17:57Speaker 1: off around each Well that's what Kelly Rippa and her
- 18:01Speaker 1: husband said that they were uh asking the door to
- 18:05Speaker 1: why didn't she knock? And she was like, why didn't
- 18:06Speaker 1: you lock the door? Well, you know, knocking is the
- 18:11Speaker 1: rule at our house. Yeah, if the door shut, you
- 18:13Speaker 1: gotta knock this so you don't just walk in because
- 18:16Speaker 1: I'll tell you right now, you walk in on me,
- 18:18Speaker 1: you're gonna need therapy. Yeah, you're gonna need something clinical help. Yeah, yeah,
- 18:24Speaker 1: you're gonna have to do Yeah. Yeah. You gotta talk too.
- 18:28Speaker 1: You gonna have to talk to somebody. You had to
- 18:31Speaker 1: go lay down to the legal pad and lay on
- 18:34Speaker 1: the couch and explain it. And the person you talking
- 18:37Speaker 1: to be going, oh my god, what. Yeah, that's what
- 18:42Speaker 1: my daddy did. So give me the description. Get His
- 18:47Speaker 1: foot was on top of the headboard. His other foot
- 18:55Speaker 1: was on the night stand in the damn water. All right, Carla,
- 19:03Speaker 1: I haven't I haven't had that experience, but Carla, you
- 19:06Speaker 1: have something to share. Dear, I surely ain't got no gore.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Go ahead, I tell you this. Tasha walked in when
- 19:15Speaker 1: it was over, so she busting and she said, Mommy,
- 19:21Speaker 1: why are you on that side of the bed? I
- 19:23Speaker 1: thought you usually? And Daddy, why are you? He was like, girl,
- 19:29Speaker 1: get out here? So getting myself together, I'm trying to breathe.
- 19:35Speaker 1: That might be worse caller because because after the fact,
- 19:38Speaker 1: I can't move, so that might be what it was. Yeah,
- 19:42Speaker 1: and trying to set a fan on on your way here. Yes, yes, yeah, yeah,
- 19:49Speaker 1: it was traumatized. Yeah, it's well now that we've covered
- 19:53Speaker 1: everybody that has happened too, it didn't happen to me. Sorry, stories,
- 19:59Speaker 1: I have no story for you. Now, who are you?
- 20:02Speaker 1: I'm no stories. I'm sorry, my life is boring. I've
- 20:05Speaker 1: no stories, shar no never, no, no. Yeah. You gotta
- 20:13Speaker 1: locked that door. I locked that door. You ever been
- 20:15Speaker 1: rolled up on, like in the car back in the day.
- 20:18Speaker 1: What do you mean like you was doing something in
- 20:21Speaker 1: the car and then somebody rolled up on you. That
- 20:23Speaker 1: ain't never happened. Oh yeah, you mean the police, not
- 20:27Speaker 1: the police. No, you know, just anybody, anybody. I mean,

- 22:06Speaker 1: a shower and a fifty I'm gonna need first last
- 22:11Speaker 1: month and uh really, um well, what's your name? My
- 22:15Speaker 1: name is Darnell. Don't know? Okay? First? Um so yeah, um,
- 22:20Speaker 1: first last month and uh so security number. I can
- 22:24Speaker 1: do a background check. Okay, okay, Now let me ask
- 22:27Speaker 1: you this. You guys got like a back backyard area
- 22:30Speaker 1: I teach classes in the mornings that I want to
- 22:32Speaker 1: know if you have that that that's pretty much what
- 22:35Speaker 1: we'll kind of locked me in if you gotta. If
- 22:36Speaker 1: you guys got a backyard that I can use, We
- 22:38Speaker 1: got a backyard? What do you teach? I teach yoga.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I tak yoga in the mornings from from six to eight.
- 22:43Speaker 1: Hopefully I won't be a problem. You're making make money
- 22:46Speaker 1: doing yoga, yes, sir, I definitely do. I make enough,
- 22:49Speaker 1: definitely to cover the red that's for sure. Dad shouldn't
- 22:51Speaker 1: be a problem. I know, I know a little bit
- 22:53Speaker 1: about yoga. That's that. I mean, really, if it's y'all,
- 22:55Speaker 1: you know you're not making no noise as yoga, that's
- 22:57Speaker 1: that's not a problem. A good deal. Well I'll quit.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Can I actually get moved in, man? I'm trying to
- 23:01Speaker 1: get suthing. I just moved in from the from the
- 23:04Speaker 1: East coast. I jumped on my yoga pretty quick and
- 23:06Speaker 1: it got a quite a bit of clientele built up,
- 23:08Speaker 1: and you know, I'm just just ready to get started,
- 23:11Speaker 1: get moved in man, something that I can actually call home,
- 23:14Speaker 1: you know. Uh yeah, well you know we're looking at rent,
- 23:16Speaker 1: rent it out pretty quick, um, you know, because we
- 23:18Speaker 1: want to try and get it filled as soon as possible.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Because if you said, we are you are you? You
- 23:23Speaker 1: got a roommate, you're you're man, it would be me
- 23:27Speaker 1: and my wife and uh we it's a three bedroom home.
- 23:29Speaker 1: You would have the room in the back with the
- 23:31Speaker 1: bathroom and uh yeah, like a fifty to do a
- 23:34Speaker 1: credit check, you know, we meet, Um I can do
- 23:36Speaker 1: the background check and uh no, no, no, what what
- 23:40Speaker 1: what what? What? What? What? What do you necessarily need
- 23:42Speaker 1: to do that for well, you gotta know who you're into,
- 23:44Speaker 1: and then you want to know what the credit they got,
- 23:46Speaker 1: so if they can afford the rent or not. You know,
- 23:48Speaker 1: I got I got real good credit. Man, My credit
- 23:50Speaker 1: is fine. I'm I'm actually eight hundreds on like oh
- 23:52Speaker 1: my credit scores. Oh damn. All right, when you get it,
- 23:56Speaker 1: how you feel that application? But you know, if you
- 23:58Speaker 1: if you're ready to get it, I can I can do.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I can do a background checking. You right, not give
- 24:02Speaker 1: me a SOB security number, Okay, but let me let
- 24:05Speaker 1: me go ahead and just do this. Man on that
- 24:06Speaker 1: background check because you know that what I want to
- 24:08Speaker 1: say about that is this, it might be something on
- 24:11Speaker 1: there about like when I was on the East Coast.
- 24:13Speaker 1: You know, I was actually teaching uh, naked yoga. You
- 24:17Speaker 1: know what I mean, naked yoga. Uh you know you
- 24:19Speaker 1: might see something on there about me being a nipple
- 24:23Speaker 1: naked yoga yo. See that's what that's the kind of
- 24:25Speaker 1: yoga I was teaching on the East Coast, was naked yoga,
- 24:27Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And everybody was teaching naked yoga.
- 24:30Speaker 1: Here we see it's in the backyard, it's closed in

- 31:39Speaker 1: I think y'all using stupid as a disrespect now. At
- 31:41Speaker 1: first I used to think it was a term of endement.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Now I think y'all y'all think y'all trying to do
- 31:47Speaker 1: this is insulting. Now y'all going a bit too far.
- 31:49Speaker 1: Steve goes, how stupid are you? He doesn't know? I'm sorry.

- 32:39Speaker 1: and sick offs and then I'm a poppy. Oh my god,
- 32:44Speaker 1: you're not a VCR. Probably in order to run these
- 32:49Speaker 1: take you still have to have a BCR, a VHS table.
- 32:54Speaker 1: That money on that chat tell us still it's a
- 32:58Speaker 1: graded system, right, all right, Steve, Time for today's headlines, please,
- 33:03Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen, Miss Anne trimp morning is believe it
- 33:12Speaker 1: or not, of an American tourist in the Dominican Republic.
- 33:17Speaker 1: This one took place in January, apparently connecting this one
- 33:21Speaker 1: with the other desks, and this time authorities say he
- 33:23Speaker 1: was a retired police officer. The report says that seventy
- 33:26Speaker 1: eight year old Thomas Jerome Curan of Bedford, Ohio passed
- 33:28Speaker 1: away while traveling with his wife. Again, that was back
- 33:31Speaker 1: in January. President Trump's one time communications director, Hope Hicks
- 33:35Speaker 1: testify before the House Judiciary Committee yesterday, but she reportedly
- 33:38Speaker 1: didn't say much. Legislators say she didn't answer any questions
- 33:41Speaker 1: as a matter of fact related to her time in
- 33:43Speaker 1: the White House. She was accompanied for the by the
- 33:46Speaker 1: end At the interview with her personal attorney and several
- 33:49Speaker 1: White House lawyers, And then they cited this letter from
- 33:51Speaker 1: the White House Council that states that as a former
- 33:53Speaker 1: senior adviser to the Commander in Chief, that Hope Hicks
- 33:57Speaker 1: enjoys absolute immunity from testifying about her work with the administration. Now,
- 34:01Speaker 1: Democrats say that's ridiculous, and they have there's no legal
- 34:04Speaker 1: grounding for that, and they're prepared to challenge that in court.
- 34:06Speaker 1: They say that's crazy. The issue of reparations for descendants
- 34:09Speaker 1: of enslaved African Americans returned to Capitol Hill yesterday in
- 34:12Speaker 1: the form of hearing to decide if a Congressional committee
- 34:15Speaker 1: should be in panel to explore that issue. Even so,
- 34:18Speaker 1: any reparations bill is unlikely to pass the Republican dominated
- 34:21Speaker 1: Senate or mister Trump's desk, some members of the Congress
- 34:26Speaker 1: are calling for new checks by the way in President
- 34:28Speaker 1: Trump's ability to authorize military operations as tensions with Iran
- 34:32Speaker 1: continue to escalate. Trump administration. Also, while we're on announced
- 34:35Speaker 1: replacement for President Obama's Clean Power Plan, which the Obama
- 34:39Speaker 1: era that was his effort to reduce coal fired pollution.
- 34:42Speaker 1: This new plan by the Trump administration calls for says
- 34:46Speaker 1: it has no teeth, critics say when it comes to
- 34:48Speaker 1: enforcing emissions reductions because its focus is on improving plant efficiency,
- 34:52Speaker 1: in other words, turning out more coal stuff, rather than
- 34:55Speaker 1: on limits, which could actually create more emissions. So. A
- 34:58Speaker 1: survivor at the Parkland, Florida shooting says Harvard University has
- 35:01Speaker 1: revoked his acceptance letter over the racist comments that he
- 35:05Speaker 1: made online and in text messages a couple of years ago.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Kyle Kuzuf said he's apologized and he's he's repented. He
- 35:13Speaker 1: was a pro gun rights conservative. He apparently referred to
- 35:16Speaker 1: quote my Jewish slaves and in one post to use
- 35:18Speaker 1: the N word eleven times. But he says he's a
- 35:21Speaker 1: different person, or officially the harder to say. Their admissions
- 35:25Speaker 1: committee takes serious equalities and maturity and moral character and guy,
- 35:28Speaker 1: way get get this attention. Game of Thrones fans, okay, Apparently,
- 35:34Speaker 1: the actress who played the horrible homicidal Searcy, Lena Headley,
- 35:38Speaker 1: she wasn't all that happy about the way the series
- 35:40Speaker 1: ended either. I didn't like it either. I thought that
- 35:42Speaker 1: she should have died like more horribly. I think she
- 35:44Speaker 1: did too. Now back to the Steve Harve Rewarding Show.
- 35:47Speaker 1: You're listening, all right, kat Dog, let's get a drum roll? Man,

- 44:25Speaker 1: comb and brush? Oh, this one's gonna hit you right here,
- 44:30Speaker 1: running cat. Hello, Hello, I'm trying to reach listen, yeah
- 44:35Speaker 1: this hey, listen. My name Sean. Uh did you uncle
- 44:40Speaker 1: had passed away? Name Yeph all right here? Your uncle? Right? Yeah?
- 44:46Speaker 1: That my uncle. We were at him about three and
- 44:48Speaker 1: a half months ago. Right. What reason why I was
- 44:51Speaker 1: calling was I'm the person that actually cut your uncle
- 44:55Speaker 1: hal when he passed away. Okay, So reason why I
- 44:59Speaker 1: was calling is, uh, the situation is when I cut
- 45:03Speaker 1: his hair. And I know you don't know the history
- 45:06Speaker 1: about me, but my daddy and my granddaddy was bob Us.
- 45:10Speaker 1: We all bob Us. Okay, get you come on, bro,
- 45:13Speaker 1: get down to the bubble because you tell my my
- 45:14Speaker 1: uncle man and I'm trying to see what's going on forever, okay,
- 45:17Speaker 1: And I'm trying to call you like this. But what
- 45:19Speaker 1: I'm telling you is that my granddad and my daddy,
- 45:22Speaker 1: they Dad passed down a brush and a comb to me. Okay,
- 45:26Speaker 1: that is like a tenimental value, Okay, But for for
- 45:31Speaker 1: the last two to three months, I ain't been able
- 45:34Speaker 1: to find the comb and the brush that I used
- 45:38Speaker 1: what I had cut his now okay, So okay, And
- 45:42Speaker 1: what I was trying to call and tell you was
- 45:44Speaker 1: it that I can't find it? And I'm almost certain
- 45:48Speaker 1: what I'm trying to tell you what I'm gonna kid,
- 45:50Speaker 1: what how many case tool? So? So what can I
- 45:53Speaker 1: do top you find Cole brother father? That's what I'm saying.
- 45:56Speaker 1: When I did miss have and edged it up at
- 45:58Speaker 1: the funeral, that's the last time I remember having it, dude,
- 46:03Speaker 1: three months right right, it's about three months ago. What
- 46:06Speaker 1: I'm trying to say is I left the comban brush
- 46:09Speaker 1: and you know what, went to funeral home and did
- 46:12Speaker 1: his hawk. And I talked to the funeral home and
- 46:15Speaker 1: they told me that, you know, if I'm trying to
- 46:18Speaker 1: find a coma bro I gotta get permission. What code
- 46:21Speaker 1: is the coma brush? What's the color of the coma black?
- 46:24Speaker 1: That both im black? The comban black and you got
- 46:27Speaker 1: all kind of combs that black and gold man. No, no,
- 46:31Speaker 1: See what I'm saying is the comban brush is black,
- 46:34Speaker 1: and I know I lost it, but I'm almost certain
- 46:37Speaker 1: about where it is. Okay, So if you're saying about
- 46:41Speaker 1: where it is, why you called? That's the reason why
- 46:42Speaker 1: I'm calling you, because I'm almost certainly left it with him.
- 46:48Speaker 1: You're listened with my then, so I called funeral home.
- 46:51Speaker 1: They told me I need to call you in order
- 46:53Speaker 1: to get permission to get it. Oh cause you called
- 46:57Speaker 1: funeral homes get permission from me that you go get
- 47:00Speaker 1: the comban brush from left the funeral. You go down there,
- 47:04Speaker 1: say god, no, no, no, See, the comban brush ain't
- 47:08Speaker 1: with the funeral. The comban brush is in there with
- 47:12Speaker 1: your uncle. The comb and brush is in the can
- 47:19Speaker 1: you about aman of stage? You got to say that again.
- 47:22Speaker 1: What what I'm trying to say to you is that
- 47:24Speaker 1: the combe in brush is in I'm trying to say,
- 47:28Speaker 1: and just say what I'm saying it the common brush
- 47:31Speaker 1: is in the casket with your uncle. Since the lad
- 47:35Speaker 1: is six feet let's see see. What I'm trying to
- 47:38Speaker 1: say is that the comban brush is sentimental value to me, bro,
- 47:42Speaker 1: it couldn't have been too value. But if you lost it,
- 47:45Speaker 1: what now? What do you want? Got value? You know
- 47:48Speaker 1: my work? So I just really got caught up in
- 47:51Speaker 1: my work. If you talk about tea left with my
- 47:54Speaker 1: uncle that they did three months ago, Man, what color
- 47:58Speaker 1: is he talking about? Bros All, I'm trying to do
- 48:00Speaker 1: what you would see if if you don't mind approving
- 48:03Speaker 1: for them to brain the body up so I can
- 48:05Speaker 1: get the comb and brush. You know what's he about it?
- 48:11Speaker 1: For comb? But see but what I'm trying to explain
- 48:14Speaker 1: it this sentimental value. I'm trying to get y'all the
- 48:17Speaker 1: brain the body so I can get my comb and
- 48:19Speaker 1: brush out. Ever, because like I say, my dad and
- 48:21Speaker 1: my granddaddy was bombed. This whole thing is sentimentally. You're
- 48:25Speaker 1: talking about my dead uncle, man, and you're talking about
- 48:27Speaker 1: bringing him up out of the ground for comb. Man,
- 48:30Speaker 1: I just got these to start crying around here, and
- 48:33Speaker 1: and I understand what y'all going through as as a
- 48:36Speaker 1: family and stuff. See now I'm trying to get my comban,
- 48:39Speaker 1: br and how you trying to go about doing this all?
- 48:42Speaker 1: Throw it off on boy, because ain't nobody digging up
- 48:44Speaker 1: nobody to bring back. No no brush, man. You look
- 48:47Speaker 1: got me pissed off now, mane because you're calling to
- 48:49Speaker 1: me talking stupid mane you talk, I put on my
- 48:52Speaker 1: mom huncle man, that's man, that's got give me a
- 48:54Speaker 1: little man. I ain't trying to start nocase you come
- 48:56Speaker 1: like comban Brushman, I only row, but I understand that.
- 49:00Speaker 1: But this is a sentimental value. Man in the middle
- 49:03Speaker 1: of me. Man, just something that my people listen. Sentimental relie. Okay,
- 49:06Speaker 1: one of my favorite uncle. Man. Okay, you talk about
- 49:09Speaker 1: putting up this body. Man, I got pall boy. Hey man, man,
- 49:13Speaker 1: I'm I don't want to give me because of my
- 49:15Speaker 1: grand that's long. Man. You shouldn't know how you got free. Man.
- 49:18Speaker 1: If we don't get out like this here, Man, I
- 49:20Speaker 1: ain't been seeing an argue with you. Look, I got
- 49:23Speaker 1: some tea. Hey, I just I got some I mean,
- 49:26Speaker 1: were you staying? Let me say this, man, I got
- 49:28Speaker 1: some people that's here with me right now. You know,
- 49:31Speaker 1: some of my friends, and we got some shovels so
- 49:34Speaker 1: I can actually go over and and go on and
- 49:36Speaker 1: get the corner. And in the morning, ain't nobody gonna
- 49:40Speaker 1: even know we ain't gonna gonna get now, but with
- 49:42Speaker 1: the long boy to say what you don't get you
- 49:45Speaker 1: don't dig, going to get a comb, and I got
- 49:48Speaker 1: him sailing with two of you talking about going to
- 49:50Speaker 1: sim test dig a hey man, I'm gonna gon on
- 49:52Speaker 1: to tell you this like here, hey man, I'm trying
- 49:56Speaker 1: to get my comb and brush back. I ain't trying
- 49:59Speaker 1: to have no was with you, but I want my
- 50:01Speaker 1: call and put them here. As you think you're talking
- 50:04Speaker 1: to them, man, go warm grue, go warld green bul
- 50:07Speaker 1: to warm the safe cold. They got him about. I
- 50:11Speaker 1: didn't know anybody. This didn't even about your uncle. That's
- 50:14Speaker 1: Lord in that. This got them Lord to be holing
- 50:18Speaker 1: in me hard. Nobody holler at you man, I'm telling
- 50:21Speaker 1: you in, I gotta calling bush in your uncle Khaki,
- 50:25Speaker 1: and I want my press what you did want that
- 50:27Speaker 1: you might well dig too? Say what then you're gonna

- 50:35Speaker 1: you're trying to dig A grateful man. Do you know
- 50:37Speaker 1: how to d this? Baby? I've been trying to get
- 50:38Speaker 1: these here. Stop crying, may o, baby, I did you
- 50:45Speaker 1: with his body? I did with baby boy. I understand
- 50:50Speaker 1: what you're gonna do, dude, is do it? I told you,

- 51:05Speaker 1: tried to call you like a man because I want
- 51:08Speaker 1: to get the Carmen brush. And I didn't want to
- 51:10Speaker 1: go without get your permission now, but I gotta go
- 51:13Speaker 1: without getting your permission. We are always read. You don't

- 53:26Speaker 1: We could be reading your letter live on the air,
- 53:29Speaker 1: just like we're going to read this one today right here,
- 53:31Speaker 1: right now. Buck all up and hold on tide. Crawberry Letter,
- 53:37Speaker 1: All right, nephew. Subject my man wants to make America
- 53:40Speaker 1: great again. We're dear Steve and Shirley. I am a
- 53:43Speaker 1: twenty eight year old white woman and I am dating
- 53:47Speaker 1: a man who is half black, half Latino. He is
- 53:50Speaker 1: thirty two years old, a great provider, has served in
- 53:54Speaker 1: the military, and he is amazing in the bedroom. We've
- 53:59Speaker 1: been together eight months and it was going great until
- 54:01Speaker 1: one night when a news report came on about the
- 54:04Speaker 1: Black Lives Matter movement. To my shock, my boyfriend said
- 54:08Speaker 1: that the Black Lives Matter mess is racist and the
- 54:11Speaker 1: followers are the equivalent of black Nazis that give the
- 54:15Speaker 1: whole black community a bad name. I was hurt to
- 54:18Speaker 1: find out that at that very moment that he is
- 54:22Speaker 1: a full on Trump supporter. I don't want to sound
- 54:25Speaker 1: ignorant and make assumptions, but isn't it a little unusual
- 54:29Speaker 1: for him as a black man to support this administration
- 54:33Speaker 1: that continually works against people of color. When I confronted
- 54:37Speaker 1: him about Trump building the wall to keep out Mexicans,
- 54:41Speaker 1: he said that his Hispanic family members are all in
- 54:44Speaker 1: the US legally, so the rest of the Mexicans can
- 54:49Speaker 1: stay on the other side of the wall. Oh yeah.
- 54:52Speaker 1: He also doesn't believe in gun control and thinks the
- 54:56Speaker 1: standard ground law is an awesome way for people to
- 54:59Speaker 1: protect themselves. For the past month, I've been trying to
- 55:02Speaker 1: get him to see how wrong the president antics are.
- 55:06Speaker 1: And I know couples that have different political views and
- 55:09Speaker 1: managed to live with the differences. I don't think I can.
- 55:12Speaker 1: Do you think I'm overreacting? Or should I have an
- 55:15Speaker 1: open mind? Or should I run now? Before he tries
- 55:18Speaker 1: to drag me to the next Trump rally, please advise. Wow,
- 55:23Speaker 1: this is a different kind of a Strawberry letter. And
- 55:25Speaker 1: I got to tell you, no, I don't think you're overreacting.
- 55:28Speaker 1: I think you're just reacting. You're responding, you're processing, you're
- 55:33Speaker 1: trying to make sense of it all. You're in a
- 55:35Speaker 1: relationship where you're a man, it seems, has an identity
- 55:40Speaker 1: crisis going on, some sort of identity problem, not because
- 55:43Speaker 1: he's a Trump supporter, but because he's black and doesn't
- 55:46Speaker 1: support the Black Lives Matter movement and says that it
- 55:50Speaker 1: gives a whole black community a bad name, and because
- 55:55Speaker 1: he's half Latino, and he started talking about, you know,
- 56:00Speaker 1: leaving the Mexicans, let them stay on the other side.
- 56:04Speaker 1: I mean, I can't believe it took you eight months
- 56:07Speaker 1: to find that out about him, that who he supports.
- 56:11Speaker 1: It is amazing that with all of Trump's lives in
- 56:13Speaker 1: his racist comments, like you said in your letter, that
- 56:17Speaker 1: your man still follows him, but many people do, They
- 56:20Speaker 1: still follow him. And I say to you, if you
- 56:23Speaker 1: can't support your man who supports Donald Trump and his
- 56:26Speaker 1: new slogan, by the way, is keep America great again.
- 56:31Speaker 1: You know, I mean the election is in twenty twenty.
- 56:34Speaker 1: I mean, what are you gonna do. You're gonna wait
- 56:36Speaker 1: until you know, Yeah, he probably will maybe try to
- 56:40Speaker 1: drag you to a Trump rally and then you know,
- 56:43Speaker 1: and then it will really start the arguments. So I think,
- 56:46Speaker 1: you know, politics, religion, all that stuff. You can have differences,
- 56:52Speaker 1: but if you don't feel comfortable in this situation, you
- 56:55Speaker 1: gotta go. Steve, You're right, this is quite a different
- 57:03Speaker 1: type of strawberry letter that we normally get. I have
- 57:06Speaker 1: no jokes here, so let me just be honest with you.
- 57:09Speaker 1: This twenty one year old white woman and dating a
- 57:11Speaker 1: man who's half black, half the Teino. He's thirty two,
- 57:15Speaker 1: he's a great provider, served in the military, amazing in
- 57:19Speaker 1: the bedroom. They've been together eight months and boring. Great
- 57:22Speaker 1: and Denny. One night, a news report came on about
- 57:26Speaker 1: Black Lives Matter movement. To my shot, my boyfriend said
- 57:29Speaker 1: that Black Lives Matter mess is racist and the followers
- 57:34Speaker 1: are equivalent to black Nazis that give the whole black
- 57:37Speaker 1: community a bad name. So obviously your boyfriend watches Fox
- 57:44Speaker 1: because that's exactly what they did to the Black Lives
- 57:47Speaker 1: Matter movement. They turned it around and turned it into, well,
- 57:53Speaker 1: our lives matter too. The Black Lives Matter movement was
- 57:58Speaker 1: not saying that other lives don't matter. Matter. Black lives
- 58:01Speaker 1: movement was merely put together to say our lives shouldn't
- 58:05Speaker 1: matter just as much as everybody else's. But the spin
- 58:10Speaker 1: propaganda spend that is the Republican Party, they quickly turned
- 58:15Speaker 1: that into our lives matter too, We're just as important. Well,
- 58:21Speaker 1: that's not what the Black Lives Matter movement was doing,
- 58:24Speaker 1: but they succeeded in doing just that. They said that
- 58:29Speaker 1: the Black Lives Matter is racist and the follows equivalent
- 58:32Speaker 1: to black Nazis. That's it's because he's missing form and
- 58:38Speaker 1: it gives a whole black community a bad name. Nor
- 58:40Speaker 1: it doesn't, then you would hurt to find out that
- 58:44Speaker 1: the very moment that he is a full trump on supporter.
- 58:50Speaker 1: I don't want to sound ignorant, but is it a
- 58:54Speaker 1: bit unusual for him as a black man to support
- 58:56Speaker 1: this administration that continuously works against people of color? You
- 59:00Speaker 1: being white, you get it. Why he doesn't get it,
- 59:02Speaker 1: I'll tell you in a minute. But I confronted him
- 59:04Speaker 1: about the Trump building the wall to keep Mexican out.
- 59:07Speaker 1: He said this that his Hispanic family members are all
- 59:10Speaker 1: in the US legally, so the rest of the Mexicans
- 59:12Speaker 1: stay on the other side of the wall. Oh yeah,
- 59:16Speaker 1: he don't believe in gun control and he thinked to
- 59:18Speaker 1: stay in your ground law is an awesome way for
- 59:20Speaker 1: people to protect himself. Wow. Half black and half Latino.
- 59:28Speaker 1: You got that exactly right. He's half of both of them.
- 59:33Speaker 1: He don't halfway get what he's talking about. He don't
- 59:36Speaker 1: halfway understand, and he half of a problem we got.
- 59:44Speaker 1: So we come back. I'll tell you what's really wrong
- 59:46Speaker 1: with him. All right, Steve, hang on to that second half.
- 59:51Speaker 1: We'll have part two of Steve's response coming up at
- 59:54Speaker 1: twenty three after the hour. Subject of the Strawberry Letter today,
- 59:57Speaker 1: my man wants to make a America great again. We'll
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: get back into it right after this. You're listening, all right,
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: So Steve, let's recap today's Strawberry Letters subject my man
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: wants to make America great again. Well, there's twenty eight
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: year old white woman's dating this half black dude, half
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: Latino who's thirty years old. He's an average Trump supporter.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: He thinks the black lives movement is racist and Nazis,
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: and he believes that it's hurting the whole black community.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: He is also thinking that since he's a Latino and
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: his Mexican relatives all got he illegally, and that all
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: the rest of them should just stay over there. He
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: also believes in the Second Amendment, nothing wrong with that,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: but he also thinks that to stay in your ground
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: law is an awesome way for people to protect themselves.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: She's confused. But let me tell you something, lady, You
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: know near confused as him when you see a guy
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: who's black who has a problem with everything that black
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: people do, especially movements. Now, I'll tell you what they
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: did do. They did to spend on this Black lives matter,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: and they took it from us and they spun it
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: into white lives matter too. And we could have been
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: a little hard to make them do that, and we
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: named the phrase black lives matter too, or black lives
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: matter also. I think that would have diffused them a
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: little bit. But since we didn't we say black lives matter,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: they turned it into everybody all lives matter, not just yours,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: and it took away the focus of what we were
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: trying to identify. The problem that black people have from
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: being stopped and pulled over by the police. That was
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: the focus. But when you turn the focus from black
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: lives matter to all lives matter, or see, all lives
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: don't have the problem that black lives do. Do it
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: a matter of fact, when you're not black your life,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: you can't even imagine what this is like to be
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: the only one on the elevator, the only one in
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: the department, the only one on your floor, the only
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: one with your job description, the only one. So since
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: you can't imagine that now all lives matter, it takes
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: all the steam out of Black lives matter. Now the
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: fact that he doesn't want any more Mexicans over here
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: because all his family is legal. The reason this is
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: is that he's dealing with some self hate. See, he
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: don't like himself. He don't like the black side or
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: the Latino side. So now his self hatred of himself
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: is god. He's ashamed of being himself. So now the
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: best way to stop the shame of being yourself is
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: to try to gain acceptance from those people that you're
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: ashamed of yourself in front of. So if I get
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: over here and I get me a bunch of these
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: Trump supporters to understand that I feel just like them,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: maybe they'll accept me and like me because I don't
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: like myself as I am. But I got news for you, homie.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: You can go over there and vote for him, and
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: you can do whatever you want to do. You're gonna
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: for the same repercussions as the rest of us, so
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: you might as well bring your ass back on back
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: over hill. See go now, you got a real problem now, partner,
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: because guess what, if you get pulled over by the police,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: you can have a Make America Great Again hat on
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: if you want to. You're gonna get the same treatment
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: we're gonna get, partner, and you can have a hat on.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: You're gonna have a Trump shirt on. You can be
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: that dude that stands behind Trump at the rally last
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: night with the ponytail that I busted and found out
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: was in the movie from the from that Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: surely I found out who he was. He's the brother
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: that was in that cult. I can't think of the name. No, no, no,
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: modern more modern game been something. I don't want to
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: say the wrong thing. I'm watching the Netflix special. He
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: was in that organization. He's all over. He's all in
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: the documentary. He's in the documentary. What is it? Yeah,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: that's him. He was a big supporter of him. He's
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: all in the documentary. That's the dude, the dude that
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: be standing behind Donald Trump. If you watch that documentary,
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: he's all in it. Okay. Oh he's been arrested several times. Yeah,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: that's the same brother. That's the same brother. Don't like
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: himself no more because he's been looking for himself all
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: over the place. Yeah, Blacks for Trump, just you, brother,
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: just you Black for Trump. That's you. He was at
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: the rally last night for Donald Trump, and they got
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: one more black that couldn't figure out how to hold
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: his sign. They ain't gonna pay his ass no more.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Oh the other rooms tripping the warm with the hat
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: on the yah. Oh yeah, see the black dude with
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: the ponytail. He'll never wear a head. He just happy.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: He just back there, just be grinted. He'd be so happy. Well,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: see you get pulled over, you're gonna get the same treatment. Party.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: They position people who they want, They want to show
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: a mixture of America behind Donald Trump. They do it
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: at all the reps. I understand that they put the
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: people back there they want. But this one black dude
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: keeps showing up and he just said he the happiest
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: you've ever seen. Well, now you don't want any more
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: Mexicans over here because let them all stay over there.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: So you keep trying to get justification from the people
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: that you're ashamed of yourself in front of when guess what, brother,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: they still gonna look at you the same way. So
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: if I was you, man, the end of your question
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: was should I just break up walk away? I would
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: because it's not gonna get any better. Next year is
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: an election year now, and you've fit to deal with.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: You can't even get it, to see it from your perspective.
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: He can't even see it from the perspective that is him, right,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: He ain't who ever see your side? All right? Listen,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: You can email us or instagram us your thoughts on
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: Today's Strawberry Letter at Steve Harvey FM, or you can
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: check out the Strawberry Letter podcast asked on demand. Coming
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: up at forty six after the hour from the Talk,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: it is our girl Cheryl Underwood. Right after this you're
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: listening to. Coming up at the top of the hour,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: it's Carla's kitchen redesign update. Yeah, yeah, it's a little twists,
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: a little different. Yeah, what happened to reality? Update? All right?
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Right now from the talk it is our girl. Come on,
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: Steve sure Underwood, thank you, Steve, listen to me. I've
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: been listening to all this testimony and all this stuff
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: discussion about reparation. Have y'all been listening to this stuff
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Mitch McConnell yesterday, Yeah, yeah, let me tell you something. Yeah,
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: and see, let me tell you something. First of all,
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: we've been talking about reparation for a long time, but
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: now it's time to do something about it. Now, you know,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: people need to get motivated. Didn't a million people marching
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Hong Kong the stop of unjust law that they didn't
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: even put it into the process. They were just thinking
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: about doing this, and a million people watching the Hong
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: Kong turn that law back and almost made the lady
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: have to resign from then we could do something about reparation.
- 1:07:16Speaker 1: We can't even get a commission now, you know that.
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: Don't make no damn sense. United States can't even get
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: a commission to study the possibility of reparations. Don't Don't
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: you think that's kind of ignorant. We ain't ask for
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: nothing yet. We just want you to study the possibility
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: of it. And then you're trying to take it through
- 1:07:34Speaker 1: the House that's controlled by the Democrats. But if you're
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: trying to move it anywhere through the Senate, the dude
- 1:07:39Speaker 1: with no knack ain't having it. Yeah mcconnor with no knacks,
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: he ain't. He ain't having it. He having time about.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: We don't need reparation because we passed civil rights lessage relations,
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: which you undercut all the damn. We don't need reparations
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: because we elected an African American president, which you're trying
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: to turn back and destroy all the good that he
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: has done. So we're gonna need to do something. First,
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: We're gonna need to change the Senate. First of all, Democrats,
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: stop arguing with each other on petty stuff, get together
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: on this, and then we need to change the Senate.
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: Now people say, well, who get the money, Well, I
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: think you need a DNA test everybody. And if I'm
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: from where you stole, then cut me a check. Because
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: slavery may have ended in the eighteen hundreds, but the
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: institution that you put in place extended slavery into the
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: nineteen hundreds and will extend it through the two thousand.
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: So cut me a check. You cordify slavery with your
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: segregation is law, so I'm gonna need you to cut
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: me a check. You enforced it through economic disenfranchisement, which
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: restricted my access to life, liberty, and to pursuit of happiness.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: So I'm gonna need you to cut me a check
- 1:08:55Speaker 1: because I can't live as free as you live. I
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: am still enslaved, So cut me a reparation check. Come on, girl,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: come on right now. And what she's saying, that's what
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: I'm talking about. Coming up, coming up at the top
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: of the hour, it's Carla's kitchen redesign update. We'll get
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: into that right after this. You're listening to show, ladies
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: and gentlemen, it is that time. She is here. It
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: is Carlo Farrell with what reality update? I think update?
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: It's the kitchen redesigned frigerator, brook stove. What happened? I
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: watch reality TV this week? All right, so let me
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: tell you, I'll what's been going on. I redesign my kitchen.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: So let's just act like I'm on HGTV or Bravo.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: How about that? Listen all right, all right, So everybody's
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: been on my Instagram page checking out my stories and
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: all of that. So I have some redesign tips on
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: what to do if you're gonna read. I don't want
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: to say remodel because my budget was I got an island,
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: all right, so listen, listen, So decide on your budget.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: Here's one of my tips, and how much you want
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: to spend and stick to it. Okay, that's the first
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: thing you need to do. Second thing you need to
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: do is purge, get rid of all of the clutter.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: My husband and I we were like going through the drawers.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Why didn't we have a catch up Polynesia sauce from
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: Chick fil A? Just stuff you just need to clean
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: up and just get rid of clutter. We had some
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Natasha sippy cups. So that's another thing you need to do.
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: This will help you cut back on spending so much money.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: Next tip, find good help workers that are willing to
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: help you, communicate with you or you know you've seen
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: their work. You've seen some of their work, so you
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: know what they can do and plan ahead. It was
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: tough being without a kitchen for a week and a half.
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: Let me tell you something, so you gotta get you
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: maybe like a little cool a girl. That's the thing.
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. They had to get like a
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: little small cooler. She was thirsty all the time. We
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: have come on now, little Chief Mica away so we
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: can put together light meals. So you gotta budget, You
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: gotta plan this out so you will know and you
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: will be ready when it's time to redesign your kitchen.
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: So my big reveal will be today, so you will
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: see how I've gone from having you know, a dated
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: kitchen and you'll see the big reveal today. So you
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: gotta follow me on social media at lips by Carla
- 1:11:41Speaker 1: and you will see the big kitchen reveal today. Any
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: questions for me with the pantr Oh, it's so cluttered, Tommy.
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: And we had to move everything getting there so they
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: can work. That's where you had, no. That's why you
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: gotta go. We gotta organize. Yeah, have you got how
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: about them pots? How about them pots underneath? Is that
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: organized under that? Yes? Everything is organized under that, Shirley.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: You'd be very proud because you know you don't use
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: your pots brand new. They don't come out and they
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: just they just they just look like furniture. Yeah, what
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: is that bill looking like? Carlin? Three meals a day
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: questions for me? You got wall paper? Oh, you got paint.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: I did paint. We painted the kitchen cabinet, so all
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: of that. So I'm having fun. We did. We had
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: a good time. So I'm very proud of my work
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: in my project. Everybody you know set up like that
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: till you gotta kind of budget and plays. So, Shirley,
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: when is you redoing your damn kitchen? Why don't you
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: give Carlor all your appli They are brand new, Carlor
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: brand new, and I got a new island. What is
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: the island for? You just want to have something to
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: walk around? Yeah, you don't want to walk straight to
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: the oven. Islands are cute, Steve, your kitchen really could
- 1:13:13Speaker 1: be a closet. Sure you was nothing in that, but
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: to sink that's it. Well, Mica Wave still got the
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: plastic over the tath. No, we are Our appliances were
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: pretty new, so we were good that. We were good
- 1:13:33Speaker 1: with that. But it Shirley wants to donate, she can
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: my big kitchen revealed. Follow me a little smart Carla.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: Oh and by the way, here's a little reality update. Nugget.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Here we go, Basketball Wiser back, Evelyn, Shanni, Malaysia, all
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: of them my back. So I'll be watching and I'll
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: catch you up on that next week. All right, thank you, Carla.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: Coming up next, music and more fun on the Steve
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: Harvey Morning Show. We'll be back in twenty minutes after
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: the hour. Right after this. You're listening Stave Harvey Morning Show.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: All right, here we go with today's office topic. People,
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: if you're at work, check this out. Listen to this
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: never far from the office, even on vacation. That is
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: the question. A new survey found that forty five percent
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: of respondents said they checked in with the office multiple
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: times a day while they're on vacation. That's that's not
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: a vacation. Listen to this one. I know, I know,
- 1:14:28Speaker 1: I was twenty tweet give you my word on Instagram.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: I will go there. We ain't even tear y'all. I
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: would leave. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know. Yeah, so forty
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: five pers I know. Forty five percent of respondents say
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: they checked in with the office multiple times a day
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: during vacation. Twenty six percent said they checked in at
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: least once a day, and none of the respondents said
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: they never checked in with work while on vacation. Uh,
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: what they need to tell is it a disrespect to
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: the people you on vacation with to stay on the
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: phone and keep calling and working. Ain't that a disrespect?
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: That makes sense? I don't know, I don't know what
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: the hell you just said. Just a respect if it's respectful.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: But I'm sure the arguments and all of that coming
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: from you know, you're supposed to be on vacation. I mean,
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: if you out with your spouse and you you guys
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: are on a vacation. You got a three four day weekend,
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: you know, is it right to be calling back and Forthork,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: not if you're on Vaca Vaca. All right? We got
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: more of the Steve Harvey Morning Show coming up at
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: thirty three after the hour with some trending news stories
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: right after this, you're listening to show. Kelly Rippa from
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: Ryan and Kelly I recently talked about the time her
- 1:15:55Speaker 1: daughter Lola walked in on her and her husband Mark
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Consuelo having sex um Consuelos. According to Kelly, Lola closed
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: the door and yelled, you just ruined my birthday. Um.
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: It was her eighteenth birthday, and she said, you just
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: ruined my birthday and you ruined my life. And I
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: used to see in color, she said, but now I
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: see in gray. So so she was all messed up, right? Yeah? Yes, yeah,
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: So the question is to the guys, uh, have you
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: guys ever walked in on someone else? Why? Has got
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: to be just a gay because you guys are comedians,
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: that's why. Hello, just that question. It's a question. Sure,
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: it's just a question. Yeah, y'all can answer too. Is
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: it because you don't want to answer it? Okay my answers.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: You scared to tell what you walked in and see
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: my answers? No, that's no fun there. You guys are comedians,
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: all right. Uh, so to the guys again, have you
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: ever walked in on anyone having sex? Or has anyone
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: ever walked in on you? Steve? What happened? Walked in on?
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I was about levin, walked in on eleven? I walked
- 1:17:05Speaker 1: in on my aunt uncle. I knew it. Yeah, I
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: was over the house and walked in on my aunt uncle.
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: And at the time I didn't know what they was
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: doing because it was so much fat in the bed.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: I didn't know what they was doing. My big ass
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: aunt was sitting up in there with her big ass husband,
- 1:17:22Speaker 1: and I just thought they were in there just I
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: thought it wasn't an attack. I really didn't know what
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: it was at the time, certainly did not know it
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: was sex. Did they see you that was love? Yeah?
- 1:17:37Speaker 1: Did they know you were in there? Yeah? My uncle, yo,
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: go get your ass out here. Took him a long time.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: He was in the middle of something, so he studied
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: and swallowed no all as him made me get out,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: and I didn't realize what was happening. Then we went
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: back and looked through the keyhole back when the head
- 1:17:56Speaker 1: keyhole lord like that junior, Oh yeah, yeah, we had.
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: I walked in on my mom and daddy. I was eight,
- 1:18:11Speaker 1: about eight years old, and I bust out cryings, I
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: told by that you said you would never hurt her
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: at eight? At eight, I wise of you, young man,
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: A little boy. I couldn't believe. Did my mom gonna
- 1:18:25Speaker 1: try to come in and talk to me? What's wrong?
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: She said, what's wrong? I said, y'all was in there.
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: He was hurting you. He said, no, that was making
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: look said it didn't look like. I ain't see no hugs.
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: At eight, I ain't seen no hugs because they said
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: hugging was loving. There was no hugs at the OK.
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: You're trying to get my dad got never come out.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Let's go play basketball. Not after that. None of you
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: hurt my mom. We gonna play together, no more, sir.
- 1:18:55Speaker 1: All right, we'll be back with our last break of
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: the day and some closing remarks from the one and
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: at least Harvey at forty nine after the hour, that's
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: right after this you're listening to. All Right, here we are,
- 1:19:07Speaker 1: last break of the day. It's been a good day
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: on this Thursday. Thanks again to the boys from eighty
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: five South Show. They're so much fun. They're so great. Yeah,
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: they are. Set them in the room and just let
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: them go. Just let them got an interview. You just
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: introduced them and hideous they got it from there. Yes,
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: all right, we're gonna switch gears here and Steve Harvey's
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: gonna give us some closing remarks. You know something I
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: think I want to share something along the lines of,
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: you know, I was telling y'all started doing this meditation
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: every morning, and I really can tell you man, it's
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: really really helped me a great deal because it's all
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: giving me a level of peace that I've never really
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: understood before, and it's just been every morning as I
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: go in prayer, but I read these little daily motivational things,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: and I was reading the other day and it was
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: teaching me this thing, this aspect of worry that I
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: think a lot of people are experiencing, and I wanted
- 1:20:14Speaker 1: to share it with you. It was talking about they
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: what he what he really wants us to do is
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: give up. You're striving to keep everything under control, which
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: is actually an impossible task. And what's furthermore, it's actually
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: a waste of precious energy. Because what I've been learning, right,
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: there's God's guidance for each one of us. That God's
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: guide that God guides, it's very unique to each one
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: of us. That's why listening to God is so really
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: vital to your well being because what God really wants
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: to do, and what I've been learning is He just
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: really wants to prepare us of the day that awaits us,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: and it really wants us to give us direction and
- 1:21:05Speaker 1: point us in the right direction for today's events. And
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: even though fear follows you around throughout the day, it
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: kind of stalks you, you know what I mean, Because
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: there's so many opportunities too, to not be conscious of
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: God's presence. That you have to understand that even though
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: all these opportunities around you, that it can't really do
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: you no harm as long as you hold on. You
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: remember how you hear old people say hold on to
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: God's unchanging hand. That if you do that and you
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: keep your eyes on him, then you get to enjoy
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: this peace. And this peace I've found because I've stopped
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: worrying so much about the things that I don't have
- 1:21:45Speaker 1: control over, and one of the big things is your future.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: You can't control your future. Now. Look, that's not to
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: say you're not supposed to plan and hope and have
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: prayer about stuff, But prayer about stuff don't don't necessarily
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: mean worried. A matter of fact, it don't mean worried.
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: So you know, you gotta all you gotta pay attention
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: to that. I've had to get even better at mastering time.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: And what I've learned about this is that all of
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: us we really really built in twenty four hour segments.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: But time man is like a tyrant. Sometimes it just
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: ticks away at us in our mind, and you gotta
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: learn how to master it. And even though we're all
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: bound by some form of time in our life. How
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: we always conscious of time. You gotta be still, you
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: gotta you gotta get out of the mad rush, y'all.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: You gotta focus on God. I like it in the
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: morning because it helps me start my date. You gotta
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: get out the mad rush. You gotta focus, you gotta
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: get laser beam focused in the mornings. Is great for
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: me because it helps me balance my whole date. And
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: I just focus. I just it with him. I just
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: talk to him about the stuff that I have concerns about.
- 1:23:04Speaker 1: I talk to him about stuff that I'm hoping to accomplish,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: and then at the same time, I leave it open
- 1:23:09Speaker 1: to wherever he's trying to take me for that day.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: I talk to him about things I'm trying to make
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: decisions on. I ask him to always guide me and
- 1:23:19Speaker 1: leave me in the right direction. And it has been
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: helping me out tremendously. Man, It's just something I do
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: in the morning. Look, you don't have a radio show
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: like me, so you ain't got to tell a lot
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: of people you're doing You don't have to tell a
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: lot of people that you're doing it. But the reason
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: I'm doing it is because I really do try to
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: encourage other people and get you to have something that
- 1:23:40Speaker 1: you can put into your day to day and maybe
- 1:23:42Speaker 1: it can help you. And that's why I always like
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: to use myself as an example when I'm giving these
- 1:23:47Speaker 1: motivational moments of stuff that I'm doing that I've actually
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: finding out through my own trial period that really does
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: work for me, And starting my money off by meditating
- 1:23:58Speaker 1: has really made a huge difference to me. It's given
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: me a really, really calming amount of peace. But I'm
- 1:24:05Speaker 1: just employing everybody to form some type of relationship with
- 1:24:08Speaker 1: your creator. Man, it'll just help you out e mentally.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: It really really will, because God who made you would
- 1:24:15Speaker 1: love to have some form of relationship with you. Now,
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: he's a gentleman. He's not going to force itself on you.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: So he does want to be invited in because he
- 1:24:23Speaker 1: gives us all the power of choice. But once you
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: invite him in, it's a very calming effect in your life.
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: You should try it if you have it. The cool
- 1:24:31Speaker 1: thing about it is you don't need permission, and the
- 1:24:35Speaker 1: even cooler thing about it is no certain way that
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: you have to do it. You can develop a meditation
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: that works for you. You know what I mean, I
- 1:24:44Speaker 1: like to read to. I got a list of stuff
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: that I make sure I think him for every day.
- 1:24:49Speaker 1: My family, my health, my grandchildren's health, of my hopes
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: and dreams of my kids, make me a light, show
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: me how to be a better example. And then I
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: got a lot of stuff in there that I won't.
- 1:25:02Speaker 1: I got some material things, some spiritual things that I won't.
- 1:25:06Speaker 1: I go over those lists. And once I read those
- 1:25:08Speaker 1: list and meditate on them in and uh, you know,
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: put up my form of prayer. At That's how I
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: start my day. Man. And I think, man, if I
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: wish i'd have done this long time ago, to be
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: honest with a long long time ago, but you ain't
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: never too late. So here I am you can too.
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: Those are my remarks what today. That's it. I have
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: a great weekend. Drop it all right up for all
