September 8th - Jesus the Messiah, Luke 9 v18-36
So, it's back to Luke's account of Jesus Christ's life on earth - and today he makes plain that Jesus was (is) the Messiah - that means the person that God had promised, almost from Day 1 of the planet, would sort out the mess that humanity had got itself into - the person who would overthrow evil permanently and allow any human who wants to stand before God perfect in every way.
